I need someone to hold my hand and say "everything is going to be okay". And I think someone out there reading this might need it too. This is me, reaching out. Our hands are full of sorrow, but they can hold better the weight of the burdens we carry, so we don't have to hold them on our own. We don't have to suffer in silence. This is me holding your hand and saying "everything will be okay."

nomadology: the war machine, deleuze and guattari, pg 6
i’m sure comparisons between the war machine and counterculture have been made before but id like to investigate particularly what happens when u position the circulation of content on the internet as a war machine. content circulation online captivates me bc it embodies this kind of New Sublime in which there are uncountable proofs and disproofs, contradictions, versions of the same story... i feel an urge to even make a comparison between the ecosystem of a place like tumblr, what happens in a week on tumblr, and what happens in a culture’s mythology over centuries... this kind of temporary containment of feelings like joy, tenderness, desire that users on tumblr explore through reterritorializations of poetic phrases... and once those textual organizations get coopted by people IRL, or within institutionalized areas of instagram twitter etc, they no longer contain that energy of indescribableness that made them attractive to tumblr users in the first plc. nd of course - in relation to piracy, it feels like institutions try to hole up all these bullet holes that pdf databases, piracy guides, resource guides make in their ownership over content, and digital ecosystems like tumblr r always making more and more loopholes that remove the institution’s ability to, sort of, project their own presentation of a piece of content according to their own neoliberal interpretation, and return the content to an ecosystem where meaning is made by a poetry of th masses

Not socialist in a “I won’t have to work” type of way but socialist in a “I’ll still be working but I won’t be worried I won’t make the rent” type of way. In a “billions won’t be hoarded by one person” type of way. In a “janitors, fast-food workers, child care workers, preschool teachers, hotel clerks, personal care and home health aides, and grocery store cashiers, will live comfortably” type of way. In a “the sick and elderly will be cared for” type of way. In a “no child should work” type of way.

The end of online privacy
Now, this isn't something I usually post about from my silly goofy k1nk account (reminder to minors to not follow or scroll this acount).
But I have more followers on here than main, and this is extremely important. Like, scary shit.
This applies to everyone. If you're reading this? It's going to effect you.
I'm sure perhaps some of you have seen around about a this thing going around... KOSA, is one of the ways it's being referred to.
If this shit passes, lemme tell you...
LGBTQ+ adults and minors seeking help and community,
people looking for abortions,
people organizing protests,
anyone using their free speech to voice concerns about injustices,
even FAN ARTISTS...
Even people reading fan fiction...
And for the purposes of where I'm posting from... people sharing and enjoying their k1nks, wanting to post things with safety and privacy... smut artists and writers, people even LOOKING for smut...
It's all gone. No privacy.
They'll have your face, your name, your age, where you live.
You'll need an ID to use any US-based platform, even if you're NOT in the United States.
Instead of dooming, here's what you can do to stop this shit in it's tracks 👍
Here is a website where you can sign a letter just by filling out a form, (it takes less than 30 seconds) and where you can call reps.
I HIGHLY suggest leaving calls if you're able, and if you have phone shyness, do this after 6pm, since it will leave messages instead.
I'm shy, but I did it!
Here's another letter to sign, takes less than 20 seconds.
Here is a form you can fill out sharing how the social media has POSITIVELY effected you.
Share all of this with as many people as you can. Our safety, freedom, joy, and protection online is at risk more than ever.
(Here is the thread where I found all of this information.)
STAY SAFE!
