✨The Wizardly Fruity Four ✨

Gryffindor Steve: 7th year | Quidditch team captain | prefect | favorite subject: defense against the dark arts | least favorite: divination

Facts:

Steve’s parents are the kind to care about the purity of wizard blood, kinda disappointed he isn’t a Slytherin;

Steve plays as Beater, and constantly gets hurt during matches, his specialty being taking hits for his teammates;

When he's chosen as Prefect, he's surprised and often complains about his duty. Truth is, he's always around to help and guide people, never skips a patrol and he's always fussing over a certain group of third-year kids;

Hufflepuff Robin: 6th year | part of the Hogwarts band | member of Wizard’s chess club | favorite: charms | least favorite: potions

Facts:

Robin hasn’t gotten anything less than Exceeded Expectations since Fly class in her first year;

She used to have a crush on Tammy Thompson in her 4th year, the Gryffindor prefect alongside Steve;

Robin is half-blood and she bonds with Eddie over this. Her father is a muggle, her mother a witch;

Facts:

Despite knowing she wants to be a journalist, she takes as many classes and joins as many clubs as possible. She wants a full resume by the time she graduates;

Nancy is often close to burnout, Robin has to keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn’t end up in the infirmary, again;

Nancy is very competitive and often challenges Steve at quidditch or Robin at Wizard's Chess (she draws the line at D&D with Eddie);

Slytherin Eddie: 7th year (for the second time) | runs the hellfire club | has a muggle rock band | favorite: Potions | least favorite: Herbology

Facts:

Eddie is a muggle-born and most Slytherins make his life a living hell for it;

Eddie runs the club for the magical version of D&D (kinda like wizard’s chess), an extremely unpopular game. There’s a rumor that the game is related to dark magic, so Eddie is forced to have club meetings in the dungeons;

Eddie gets into trouble for wearing the hellfire club t-shirt instead of his uniform;

Random Fruity Four Facts:

Their friend group formed during their 4th (Robin and Nancy), 5th (Steve) and 6th (Eddie) year;

They always sit together even if they’re supposed to be with their respective houses. Their friendship confuses the hell out of people;

Robin and Steve got detention in their 4th/5th year and while cleaning the potion supply closet they tested some potions, got to the veritaserum and confessed every little secret they had to each other. They've been besties ever since;

Eddie and Steve bicker all the time but Eddie never misses a quidditch match (despite hating the sport) and Steve is often seen going around the dungeons whenever a D&D session is taking place;

Nancy and Steve went on a couple of dates but decided they’re better off as friends;

Nancy matches her patrols with Steve's so she can vent about her crush on Robin;

Robin and Nancy always study together. They rarely let Steve and Eddie join because they get distracted too easily, and because they enjoy some alone time;

If Eddie and Steve pass their NEWTs, it will be only because of Robin and Nancy;

People gossip about them, especially because of Nancy (Head Girl) and Steve (Quidditch Captain);

At one point is rumored that Steve is dating Nancy and cheating on her with Robin, who’s dating Eddie, who’s in love with Nancy;

Steve spends Christmas at school until he becomes friends with Robin, who invites him over. Since Eddie's uncle lives close to her, they force Nancy to make the trip so that they can all be together for the holidays;

Nancy bonds first with Eddie. She was having some trouble with Potion (getting Es instead of Os) so she finds out through the Potion professor, that Eddie Munson is one of the greatest students he had ever had. Nancy forces him to tutor her and they become friends;

Nancy and Robin get their shit together first, after Nancy runs out her plan on how to ask Robin out with Steve at least 10 times;

Eddie and Steve go on dates without realizing it. It takes Steve turning down someone because of Eddie to make him understand that something is going on;

That is it for now, but I kinda want to write some scenes with no chronological order about this universe in the future.

The kids were first years when Steve becomes prefect, now they're in their third year but I don’t know where to put them regarding the houses, let me know what you think!

Hey so I’d just like to address something real quick

I’ve noticed over the last few months that I’m getting fewer and fewer likes on the chapters I’m writing - completely fine if you didn’t like them, I’m not complaining about that.

But some people will like one or two chapters in a series, express their love for it, and ask to be tagged.

I love that people are reading and enjoying my work, but each chapter takes me weeks, if not months, to write and perfect, and it’s honestly a little offensive that some of you won’t give me the bare minimum in return.

Like my recent series, for example, Harry Potter/Addams Family crossover - I rewatched every Addams based media (including the black and white tv show), reread the Philosopher’s Stone, and even bought and read books on novel planning just so I can make this story perfect and interesting and unique.

I’ve been planning this one for years, and it’s disheartening when someone will only like one or two pieces of something that’s taken me so long to create.

Liking, reblogging, and commenting is how you can support and encourage writers on tumblr, and liking is the absolute bare minimum. If you want creators to keep creating then that’s what you need to do.

It’s so hard to find the time to write, my life is busy and stressful enough, but I make an effort to work on them - usually by staying up until 2am and sacrificing my sleep. I’m always tired and stressed out and I have other things I could be doing. But I choose to write for readers on tumblr, and yes I enjoy it, but I at least expect to be given some likes where deserved.

So can you just, please leave a like when you read something that a creator has put so much effort into for you?

Steve had a crush.

It reached an all-time peak in his last year, when the Slytherin he was eyeing, who should be far away from his table, had befriended one of his fellow Hufflepuffs.

"Pathetic," Robin whispered as he flipped through his potions textbook without reading, eyes focused on Eddie and Chrissy, who was tying up his long dark hair with her Hufflepuff-colored scrunchie.

"Robin," he wheezed.

"I know, I'm sorry." She rolled her eyes. "Are you gonna grow out your hair now? Share hair accessories with Munson?"

Steve has been considering it.

Robin slapped him on the arm.

"Dude!"

"I know!" he hissed.

The sight of Eddie wearing Chrissy's scrunchie was seared into his brain. The contrast of yellow to his dark hair and metalhead shtick buzzed behind his eyes and the idea of him in something of Steve's was growing into a fixation.

Whenever he passed him, hair flowing, Steve's hands twitched to braid them, to tie them with anything, his fucking tie if he had to. At some point, he even got a yellow handkerchief and started wearing it in his pants’ pocket just like Eddie did.

"I know," he sighed.

Capital ‘P’ pathetic.

But all the Robin-induced insults went forgotten when she waved a piece of parchment in his face one November afternoon.

"What is this," he frowned at her flatly. He stilled her wrist to read ‘Eddie Munson’ scrawled on the paper in the ugliest handwriting he'd ever seen.

"Your secret giftee!" she screeched loudly.

"What?!"

"Eddie signed up for Secret Santa and I, your best friend, pulled on some strings, made some exchanges, and voila!"

She was beaming with smug satisfaction, appropriately, but Steve's mind was already racing with possibilities..

"What am I supposed to give him?"

As Eddie opened the box and saw a plain black scrunchie, Steve rushed with explanations.

"I've charmed it so it responds to music. Your hair will change with what you’re listening to."

Eddie blinked at him, surprise evident.

"Like what?"

"Um, it gets flowy with ballads, and for metal, I know it’s your favorite, the hair gets big and puffy. Well, you know. And uh, it's based on a mood-based spell? So their tips get red with love songs and so on."

Of course he had to mention love of all things, his heart now thudding as he watched Eddie tie his hair. With a scrunchie from Steve. He pulled a strand in front of his face and observed it lighten.

"Yellow means…?"

"Uh, happy," Steve admitted bashfully. At least he knew his gift was a success. Eddie's eyes observed him like a hawk.

"Does it have to be in my hair to work?" He questioned with a weird tilt to his tone.

"Wearing it on your wrist will work too."

"What’s pink?"

"Affection." He knew the colors by heart after months of perfecting the charm. He had hair ties everywhere and he tested them all himself.

He tested them all himself.

One was currently sitting on his wrist and Eddie… Eddie was looking at his hair.

"And gold?"

They both watched as the tip of his ponytail started shining in the candlelights.

"Charmed."

"Huh. I guess I am," Eddie grinned at him. And the pink of his dimpled cheeks needed no spellbook to read.

lemme give my opinion for the debate of which hogwarts house are the characters in stranger things are sorted in

Slytherin: Nancy, Mike (i wasn’t that sure about him being in slytherin but it mad the most sense to put him in Slytherin bc of his inability to process his feelings), Eddie (ik some of yall thinking hes a Gryffindor bc he dresses up like Sirius but hes in Slytherin bc his personality was like Regulus’, ran away but died with almost no one knowing that he died for good), Max, Erica, Brenner and ofc 1/Peter/Henry/Vecna

Gryffindor: Lucas, Hopper, Steve, Jason (he kinda gives me McLaggen vibes), and 11

Ravenclaw: Robin, Will, Suzie, Murray and Vickie(even though she had little screen time i think shes a Ravenclaw) (basically Suzie is the token straight)

Hufflepuff: Chrissy, Argyle, Dustin, Jonathan, and Joyce

fyi: this is what i think the characters in season four would be sorted in yes ik that some deserve to be in other houses but i based it on the most current season and what made the most sense

Draught of Desire - Chapter two

It’s a Saturday morning, a couple of days after the potions class. Y/N was at the library for hours, looking for a book that contains information about the Tacca Chantrieri. Y/N knows that she doesn’t necessarily need the flower for the potion, but she really wants to perfect it, she always wants to perfect her potions.

She looks everywhere, on every bookshelf and eventually finds the book. “Revolutionary Plants” Y/N whispers.

She grabs the book and opens it. Tacca Chantrieri… She looks through the chapters but can’t find it. She turns the page to “deadliest plants” and regards this page. She looks at a picture of a dark-coloured flower with sharp petals. Y/N reads about the flower but forgets to check what it’s called. She quickly looks for the name of this plant and realises she had been looking at the missing ingredient this whole time.

She reads more about the plant and learns that the petals are poisonous and that it may cause illnesses, even death. Y/N gets excited and goes to find Draco🤩🤩🤩🤩. She runs out of the library and goes outside on the school grounds. She looks around to find Draco. She sees some Hufflepuff students sitting on a bench together, laughing. This reminds Y/N of her friends, and how much she misses them. She looks at the tree where Draco usually sits, but she doesn’t see him there.

Disappointed, she heads back inside.

As she walks down the quiet corridors, she hears someone.

“You must stay out of trouble, what you’re doing is wrong” She hears a voice whisper.

“You know I have no choice.” A voice says.

This voice is familiar, it’s Draco. Y/N gasps quietly and presses herself against the wall and listens.

“This has to stop, the students are being brought in danger and you just let that happen?” The voice hisses.

“Some sacrifices have to be made” Draco whispers.

Y/N couldn’t resist but confront him. “Who’s in danger?” Y/N asks.

Draco startles.

“Blimey- you scared me.” He sighs.

“You’re not answering my question,” Y/N replies.

Draco doesn’t say anything.

“Answer my question.” Y/N orders.

He hesitates. “No one is.”

“Someone is, and whom were you talking to? Did you hurt people?”

“No of course not, and I wasn’t talking to anyone.” Draco snaps.

“And are you accusing me of something?” He adds. This makes Y/N nervous, and she changes the topic.

“Anyway, I’ve found information about the missing ingredient for our potion,” Y/N says. “The Tacca Chantrieri, also known as the Black Bat Flower, is a poisonous flower that has caused millions of deaths of wild animals and is rumoured to be the most attractive-smelling plant in the world. The scent lures its prey to this flower which causes the animals to die.” She adds.

“Great, so where do we find this plant?” Draco replies.

“That’s the problem, it’s located in the forbidden forest,” Y/N says.

“Oh,” Draco complains.

“That’s why I was thinking of sneaking out tonight, maybe?” Y/N whispers. She plays with her hair as she waits for Draco to reply.

“Sorry, I have Quidditch practice early in the morning.” He hesitates.

“Oh.” He quickly walks past her and marches down the hall.

Y/N watches him walk down the corridor, feeling as if the conversation was a bit awkward. Y/N decides that they should go to the woods another night, and not push it for today. She makes her way towards her dorm room, planning to study more about the herb over there.

As Y/N turns around the corner, someone bumps into her. This makes her books and her wand from her pocket. She bends down to grab the things she’d dropped and...

SNAP!!!

“Oh my God, I’m so sorry!” A familiar voice says. It is Cedric Diggory, a Hufflepuff student, and seeker on the Quidditch team.

Y/N looks at her broken wand on the floor. How could it just… break?

“Oh no,” Y/N sighs. Why did things like these always happen to her?

“I’m so sorry!” Cedric exclaimed again. Picking up Y/N’s books, and handing her her broken wand.

“It’s not your fault,” She sighs.

“How can I make it up to you? Do you want me to get you a new one?”

Y/N looks down. Right now wasn’t a good moment for this to happen to her. She would have to buy a new wand eventually, but she could ask her parents to get her one. She had another idea, though. “No, you don’t have to, I’ll send an owl to my parents to ask if they’ll get me a new one.”

“Is there anything else I can do to make it up to you?”

Y/N thinks about his question. She wanted to finish the potion with Draco, but she needed the herb for that. “Would you…” she stammers. “Would you like to help me find a herb in the Forbidden Forest?”

“A herb?” He asks.

“Yes, it the Tacca Chantrieri. It’s one of the deadliest plants in the world.”

“What do you need a deadly plant for?” He asks her.

Y/N thinks about the best way to put her answer. “For an advanced potion, I’m making in Potions class.” She answers.

Cedric frowns, but the frown quickly disappears from his face. “Okay, it’s the least I can do. I’ll help you.”

Everybody was waiting for a tattoo to appear on their body, a sign to find who their soulmate was. But you were still at Hogwarts, therefore very few people were old enough to get a tattoo and even fewer got one. Some people were lucky and found themselves with stick’n’poke early, like Remus who got quickly covered with tattoos as Sirius got more and more ever since the fifth year.

You wanted someone in particular to be your soulmate… Regulus. You had to wait one year before being able to get tattooed so you tried not to get too attached. But he was your best friend, and it was difficult to hide things from him.

But lately, you couldn’t find yourself bothering him with your heartaches when you saw he wasn’t well. He had dark circles under his eyes and seemed more miserable than usual. You tried to talk to him but he just kept on avoiding the subject and you decided to give up, he would talk when he wanted to.

One night, you were lying on your bed, staring at the ceiling as you thought about him, you wished you could do something. But as you tried to find solutions to help him, a shooting pain appeared in your arm. You yelped as you grabbed it, tears forming in your eyes. It kept going on for some long minutes before it slowly started to disappear. Scared to find what was on your arm, you rolled up your sleeve with your eyes shut.

You finally looked down and you let out a loud sob. On your arm was tattooed the Dark Mark. You cried at the former pain and the realisation: your soulmate was a DeathEather and he condemned you to have the same fate.

Your roommates were asking you what was going on but you couldn’t speak, you were far too choked up. You got up and stormed out of the room as you hid your tattoo with your sleeve. There was only one thought in your mind, find him.

You knocked at his door, you were never more grateful rich Slytherins could get single rooms. You knocked again but he didn’t open the door. “Regulus, please…” you sobbed. You let yourself fall against the door to the floor, crying in your hands. You didn’t know how long you stayed there before Regulus entered the corridor, finding you there.

“Y/n? What is going on?” he asked, he sounded himself as if he had cried.

Your eyes widened when you saw him and, without even thinking, you threw yourself in his arms. “I- I got a tattoo… My soulmate… they-” you sobbed in his neck. He opened his door and sat you both on his bed, you could be alone and could talk about anything in the intimacy of his room.

“What is going on?” he asked again.

“My soulmate just got a tattoo and- and…” you couldn’t even finish your sentence and lifted your sleeve as a loud cry left your lips. Regulus’ eyes widened as he saw the Dark Mark.

He got up off the bed as he covered his mouth with his hand “I- I’m sorry… It is all my fault,’ he said as tears rolled down his cheeks.

“What do you mean?” you asked confused.

“I- I,” It was so difficult to say it out loud. How could he tell you that he was the reason of your pain and sorrow. He loved you, he regretted this so much. He thought his feelings could never be reciprocated and thought that he didn’t care if anybody got hurt as long as it wasn’t you. He rolled up his own sleeve, revealing your matching tattoo. “I- I got it tonight.” He was too ashamed to look at you in the eyes.

You stood up “That’s you?” you said in disbelief. “I thought you weren’t going to do it, Regulus!” you were angry now, he had never seen you mad at him like this. “Look at me, Regulus!” you yelled. His eyes met yours, full of tears “You ruined my life! How could you? You said you weren’t going to join him…” Tears ran down your face and as you let a loud cry leave your lips “I don’t want to see you again.” You looked at him one last time before leaving the room “I hate you, Regulus”.

I don’t take smutty requests but I will write the lead up, some spicy make out sessions, talk about sex / mature themes, just not explicit content x (this may change with time)

You can also request ideas for next parts in mini series or part 2′s to existing works

Although longer requests are welcome, fics planned out without any room for me to be creative are less likely to be written

It takes time to write and I want to make sure it's the best it can be, so please be patient

Cannons in my writing and things to know:

Below is some of the things i tend to keep cannon in my writing but these can differ depending on the readers house and storyline (mostly for hp fics):

If the reader is Hufflepuff they are always friends with Jess McConnell and Cedric Diggory (Golden Era), or Amos Diggory and Alex McConnell (Marauder Era)

If the reader is Slytherin they will usually be friends with Timothy Greengrass and Joey Taggart (Golden Era), or Regulus, Barty, Evan and Pandora (Marauder Era)

I won’t write Marlene, Angelina, Pansy or Astoria as villians, they may be in the story but I refuse make them toxic for the sake of it

Cedric won’t be used as a way of making people jealous, I see that used alot plus I really like Cho and Cedric so i prefer to write him as a good friend/brother figure

Neville and Luna are always sweeties

Marlene and Dorca are always iconic queens

In non-voldy universes Peter is the cutest and sweetest marauder (aka the loveable weirdo)

When the reader isn't paired with them the following ships are cannon: wolfstar, dorlene, jilly or jegulus/marylily, hinny, romione
