—DEFENDING JACOB SPOILERS—
Last Chapter of Imprisoned Series
I want to thank for those who read through this journey and this is one of my favorite series because I love Andy Barber and daughter fics. It breaks my heart.
This is ending how it is. Different ending to Defending Jacob.  I’m sorry people...
~~~
From a time that felt like forever, the police eventually found Nathan. The boy was wrapped up in a blanket, shivering as they guided him into the lobby. “Nathan!” His mother called.
And that night, everyone was relieved. But Andy and Laurie had cut the trip short, skipping the last three days. So the family was free to go, packing up their things and left Mexico. Heading back to Massachusetts.
But Laurie had changed that day. Once they got home, she started to unpack, being quiet throughout the whole trip back. Andy came up to check on her, knowing that the night before she knew it all.
Andy leaned on the door frame and looked at her, he then lowered his head. “Do you want to talk about what happened?”
“No,” She said. Andy looks up to her, “When then?” Laurie continued to pull out the folded clothes. “I don’t know. Maybe never.” Turning around, she headed for the closet, putting the clothes away as Andy stood there for a few more seconds before turning away.
.
Everything seemed to go back to the usual quiet mornings. Laurie’s usual jog around the neighborhood. Y/N with her teacher, learning ninth grade for high school. Who knew if Y/N could return back to school. They didn’t get a single call from the principal nor anyone in town.
That morning, Laurie returned after her morning run and Andy watched her come in from the upstairs window.
Milo hears the door open and shut close, jumping up to his feet he greets Laurie as she entered the kitchen.
Not seeing that Y/N’s teacher had smiled up at her and watched Y/N write things down on her paper. Laurie didn’t greet either of them, instead she walked over to the fridge and took the bottle of water to drink.
Seeing Y/N from the dining table, she stared. Knowing Andy’s father had ask a man to kill Patz for him to take the blame for Alice’s murder. Laurie then had no doubt. Doubt that Y/N was innocent.
Laurie imagine what they would do if they found out that Patz was murdered. The night when Y/N came up to the little girl at the bowling alley. Raising a ball twice her weight. The knife shown in court by Logiudice. The story Derek had read that was so similar to the murder.
Y/N raises her head up at Laurie and makes a sheepish grin before turning back to her work. Not a single twitch in Laurie’s face did she smile. It was a cold, longing stare.
.
Andy thought to finish packing up the books and games off the shelves in the living room. Slipping them into the boxes. He looks through them and slid them into the box. Taking a board game in hand, he stares at it. The memories with Chutes & Ladders he grins.
His head turns to see Laurie stand, already dressed to go out. “I have to run some errands,” She mumbles. Andy looks at her attire and nods, “Okay.” He looks down at the board game, “Hey, remember this?” He shows her the game with a grin. Giving her some small memory to make her grin.
But Laurie didn’t.
“I’ll be back later.” Andy’s grin slowly falls as she turns her heel and walks out of the room. The sound of the door closing made him look back at the game. He placed the box on top of the bigger one. Taking another game in hand, it was the Othello.
He softly grins and stands up.
.
“Have you just been secretly honing your Othello skill?” Andy asks, watching Y/N put down her disc and flips the others. Andy was leaning on his elbows, watching her fingers flip his over in defeat. He couldn’t do much. “It’s all about taking the corners. You taught me that,” She grins.
“Jesus,” Andy mumbles, taking a disc in his palm. Andy stared at the board, looking for a move. Maybe find some strategy. “Where’d you say Mom went again? I’m kind of hungry.”
Andy finds a spot and reached over, “She just went to grab a few things, she’ll be back in a few.” He flips over her discs colors. Y/N picks hers up and placed it next to his, claiming his color as her own. “What’s going on with her?” She asked.
Andy peers up at her, “What do you mean?”
He watched her shrug, “She just seems really... I don’t know. Quiet. It’s worrying me a little bit.” Andy takes his disc and sighs, “Well, she’s got a lot on her mind. You know, packing and the move.” He pauses for a moment knowing Laurie has been off since. He knew she would never talk to him. As if she took his spot from the beginning. Shutting him out now. Keeping things from him.
He shook the thought, “I think we just gotta give her time.”
Y/N peers up at him with worry, sitting there in silence as Andy lifts up his head to look at her. Seeing her worried look, “What?” He asks. Y/N shook her head and nods, “Nothing. It’s your turn.”
Andy twirls the disc in his fingers and looked at the board, searching for spots to beat the game. But he shook his head, “I can’t find a move.” Y/N looks up and inhales sharply, “It’s ‘cause you don’t have one.”
.
That night, Andy figured to help Y/N with dinner since Laurie hadn’t return the time they expected her, too. So he found something and Y/N went to bed. Andy took the rest of the night to pack in his office downstairs. Slipping things into the box, Milo had been sitting at his desk, watching him put everything in the dark boxes.
Andy reaches over and rubs Milo’s head. Suddenly, the back door opens and Milo rushes over, greeting who had came through the doors. Andy stopped and tried to peak over into the hall to see Laurie pass by, slightly pushing Milo away as she heads for the steps. “Laurie?” He called, standing up from his desk, he walks around and leans on the wall.
“I didn’t know you were down here,” Laurie says.
“Yeah,” Andy sighs, “Lot of stuff to go through.” Laurie nodded up at him and gestures to the stairs, “I was gonna go to bed.” Andy softly whispers an ‘okay’,  Laurie turns around.
“Y/N’s been wanting to get a haircut. If you want, I can take her tomorrow. Besides, I need to do something for Milo as well at the vet. Needed for shots,” Andy says.
“No, I can go,” Laurie says.
“You sure? I don’t mind doing it,” Andy asked. Laurie shook her head, “No, I know what to tell them.”
“Okay,” Andy said. Laurie takes a step towards the stairs till Andy spoke again, “I think she’s worried about you.” Laurie turns. “So am I,” He added. Laurie walks forward and slightly threw her arm out, “I don’t know what you want me to say.”
“Nothing. Just...” He sighs, “It’s like living with a ghost. I don’t know if you’re punishing me or--”
“I’m not,” Laurie says.
“Then what is it?” He asked, drawing his eyes back up to her, brows together in worry. Laurie’s fingers rub against each other sheepishly. Andy shook his head at the slightest, “The way that you look at her...”
Laurie turns away form his gaze. “I’m just trying to figure out how to move on from here,” He says.
“Isn’t that what we’re doing?” She asks. Andy inhales softly, “Laurie...” He mutters, lowering his head, “If you just want to take some time... by yourself, the move can wait. Just want to get away and... decide what you wanna do.”
“Maybe,” She mutters. Andy nods, “Okay. Whatever you need. I mean it.” Laurie takes this time to turn away, taking her feet up the stairs.
“I love you, Laurie,” Andy says.
She stops.
“I know that might not mean much,” He says, looking up to her, “But I do.” Laurie didn’t look at him one last time and stood there in silence. Laurie takes the stairs up leaving Andy there to watch her go. With no return with the same affection.
.
Y/N jumped in the car with Milo in the back and her in the passenger seat. Laurie sat behind the wheel. It was raining in the morning and Y/N figured the ride would be a long but short ride, so she drew out her phone and played some videos.
Laurie shook her head, “I’m trying to remember.” Y/N tilts her head, not glancing up at her, “Hm?”
“Last year, when it was all happening... I don’t think I ever just asked you. Not directly.” Y/N didn’t seem to be phased by the ways Laurie spoke to her. A cold tone but Y/N managed to grin at the screen in her lap.
“I guess I was just scared of what they might do to you. But they can’t hurt you now. No one can,” Laurie spoke. A truck passes by and it makes a loud clank sound of its trailers crashing against each other as they pass.
.
Andy started to continue to clean up the place, taking books and DVDs down from the shelf in the living room. He tossed old papers and noticed that he missed the bag. He walks over and picks up the papers that had fallen. He tosses them in the bag and stops to see something familiar in the garbage.
Taking it in hand, he sees the blue photo album with a picture of Y/N when she was first taken home. He wondered why this was in the garbage. He never would’ve thrown it in the garbage.
Why would Laurie?
.
“Still, would you have told me the truth? If I promised to love you no matter what, would you tell me?” Y/N doesn’t respond and softly laughs at the video. “Y/N,” Laurie says. Y/N still doesn’t look at Laurie as she replies with the same hum.
“Did you kill Alice?” Laurie asks. Y/N lifts up her head and turns to her, completely taken by it, “What?” Laurie’s phone began to buzz and Y/N finally had her gaze focused on Laurie.
 “No. You know I didn’t.” Y/N sees her decline Andy’s call. “What if I said I don’t believe you?” She asked, not buying Y/N’s innocent look and her stare.
“What?” Y/N mumbles.
“A man died, Y/N,” Laurie says, “You don’t know this, but a man was murdered so that you could go free.” Y/N sees Andy call Laurie again, “So I have to know,” She says.
“Know what?” Y/N asked, Laurie looked agitated, “Did you kill Alice? Just tell me the truth-”
“I did tell you. What’s wrong with you?” Y/N flips out. Milo began to growl and bark, making it ring in Y/N’s ears.
“-I will love you no matter what,” Laurie says, she shakes her head to his reply, “I don’t believe you.” Y/N heard her car was making a loud humming noise causing her to shake. “Mom… Mom, you’re driving too fast.”
“Why would you write that story?” Laurie asks.
“Mom, slow down,” Y/N says, the shaking was audible in her voice. “All the details, the little things,” Laurie completely ignores her pleads. “I made it up. Slow down!” Y/N replies.
She shook her head again, “I don’t think you did. I’m sorry. If I just knew the truth,” She said. Y/N held onto the door as she sees the miles go up.
“I made it up! Just slow down!” Y/N says, her eyes burning up with tears and stared up the road, “Mom, slow down!”
“If I only knew what happened!” Her eyes tear up. Y/N whips towards her, “Fine! I killed her, okay?” Y/N shouts. Milo barks like the sound of thunder, his stance was going back and forth in the backseat.
Laurie turns in shock, “You did?” Y/N turns away as the tears filled in her eyes, “Whatever you want! Just slow down, please, you’re freaking out Milo,” Laurie turns back to the road, not slowing down. “I want the truth!”
“Slow down! Slow down, Mom!’ Y/N screams.
Laurie never slows down and continues to floor the gas. “But I’ll never know, will I?” Laurie asks, “I will never know.” She shook her head. “Slow down, mom! Please, please, please!” Y/N tugs on her seat belt, reaching for Milo for some contact of touch.
Laurie sobs, “I can’t do it anymore, Y/N.”
“You sound crazy! Mom, you’re scaring me!” Y/N cries, “Stop!” Laurie chokes a sob, “I love you. I love you and your father both.”
Y/N turns to her, “Mom!” Laurie sees tunnel come into view and Y/N watched as Laurie turns the wheel. And the car crashes into the wall.
.
“I need to ask you again.”
Andy held his head in his hand, rubbing his temples.
“Why isn’t Laurie here today?” Andy doesn’t respond as Neal looks down at him. “On February 22, nearly six weeks ago, you received a call from the Massachusetts State Police. Is that correct? You were told that there had been an accident.”
Andy continued to rub his forehead. “That Laurie and Y/N were in a car that had gone off the road. That both mother and daughter had been rushed to the intensive care unit of Newton General. Your dog, Milo was included in that accident, they said he didn’t make it.”
The images of the accident was not pretty. Neal didn’t want to push it, “The officer explained that there were no other cars involved. That there were witnesses, other drivers, who saw your wife’s car swerve suddenly off the road.”
Andy inhales shakily, “She was speeding...” He mutters.
“I’m sorry?” Neal asked.
Andy drops his hand, “I said she was speeding. It was raining, and she was driving too fast.”
Neal looks down confused, “None of these witnesses reported seeing any attempt by the driver to right the vehicle or apply the brake.” Andy needed Neal to stop with these statements and he needed to defend her. So he snapped, “She was speeding, and she lost control.”
“Did she? Lose control?” Neal asked.
“That’s not what I meant-”
“Joanna Klein, Y/N’s prior attorney told investigators that she received two missed calls from your wife between the hours of 4: 00 and 5: 00 a.m. on the morning of the crash. Both hang-ups. Why do you suppose she was trying to get in touch with Y/N’s attorney?”
Andy shook his head, “I don’t know. Joanna is a friend,” He said. “Is Elizabeth Vogel a friend?” Neal asks, “Phone records show that there was a call from Laurie;s phone to Dr. Vogel’s office at 3: 18 a.m. This sounds to me like a woman who was distraught. Did she get any sleep at all that night?”
Andy doesn’t respond. “Andy,” Neal says sternly, “You said you wanted the truth to come out, but you’re not telling the truth-”
“Yes, I am. It was an accident,” Andy almost growls.
Andy kept his head low. “You would do anything for your daughter, I know that. No matter how painful. Help us,” Neal says, “Help us deliver justice. That’s all we want. Justice for Y/N. For you.”
“It was not an accident,” Neal said, “She tried to kill her daughter. Your daughter,” Neal leans forward and Andy turns his head to the jury,
I understand why you don’t want to help us. But Y/N is owed justice. Nobody here blames you, Andy. You’re a victim, but you need to be strong.”
Neal watches as Andy kept his eyes low on the table, “Andy.” The man’s fingers twitch and he never moved his gaze, “She was speeding. It was raining. And it was an accident.”
Neal leaned off the table and looked over to the jury. He ended it from there. Wanting them to vote.
.
That morning, Andy took his car to the Newton General Hospital. Signing in the paper, the woman hands him a tag and he heads on in. Watching as the nurse steps away from Laurie, he slowly walks over and pulls out a chair.
He gently takes her hand and held it, “So?” She asks. Andy softly grins, “They voted. No bill.”
“What does that mean?”
Andy sighs, “It means no indictment. They know it was an accident.” Laurie lets out a huff and Andy raises her hand and places a kiss on her knuckles. Laurie looks at him and shook her head, “I just wanted our family back.”
Andy looks up, stroking his thumb over her knuckles, “So do I.”
Laurie blinks, “I keep trying to remember that day.” Andy shook his head, “Don’t. It was an accident. That’s all it was,” He looks at her, “It was just an accident.” He raises from his chair and places a kiss on her forehead, gently stroking her hair. “Try to get some rest.”
Laurie watches him, “Will you go see her?” Laurie asked. Andy grins and nods. “I will. Always will.” He gives her one last grasp on her hand before leaving.
Andy walks down the hall and out to his car. He drove out out of the parking lot. Glancing over to his side, he sees the flowers that had laid on the passenger seat.
He reached the field and takes the flowers.
The cold breeze struck him as he come across the field. Flowers and green grass everywhere. He stops and looks down at the ground. A clean marbles slate on the ground with her name carved.
Y/N Barber.
Slowly, he took a knee and placed the flowers below her name. His hand gently touches the stone. Dropping his head low, he thinks of the conversations he had with her. The laughs and drives.
Pulling his hand back, he kneels there for the next hour. Until he headed back home with his own takeout. It was nighttime once he got there. Dropping his coat on the counter, he pours himself a glass of whiskey.
Drinking that with his food at the table. In the dark. The silence throughout the house was depressing. Lonely. Andy took his fourth glass and walked upstairs. Stepping into Y/N’s room. The moonlight shined through her window as he entered her room.
He sat down on the edge of her bed and saw the dog toys that were still needed to be packed. Milo and Y/N’s things still remained in this room. Even her posters on her walls. Andy only stared in front of him.
Andy pulls the glass to his lips. Taking the last drop of his glass before sitting in her room for the next hours.
End.
Jealous Type (part 4)
I wanted to write at least one more exchange. I couldn’t help it.
(heres the ao3 link if you wanna comment.. leave hits or kudo’s. It’d mean a lot!)
~~~~~~~~
Vaggie didn’t want to come back to the hotel, not after everything. She was no fool, Charlie had chosen who she wanted to be with, and it wasn’t her. And, Vaggie was still too upset to try and talk to the blonde demon, quite frankly she didn’t think Charlie deserved the closure of talking things out. Let her stew in whatever regret or remorse she had, she deserved it.
However, there reached a point where Vaggie really needed the rest of her clothing and belongings. And, since everything was back at the hotel, it meant having to go back at least once more time, to pack everything at least.
Luckily for Vaggie, she worked around everyone long enough to memorize schedules, who went where at what times, and who generally just wasn’t around the lobby at certain points in the day. So, she waited until she could slip in, get what she needed, and slip out before she was noticed.
Getting in was going to be easy enough, Vaggie thought as she quietly slipped through the front doors to the hotel, ever so carefully closing it behind her. Husk was fast asleep at the var and wouldn’t wake up for at least another hour, and Angel Dust actually went off to do some ‘work’ around this time since Husk wasn’t available to flirt with. As Vaggie carefully climbed the stairs up towards the hotel rooms, she could hear Niffty humming loudly as she cleaned the kitchen. Vaggie couldn’t stop herself from visibly flinching at the mere mention of the kitchen, memories rushing back to her before she could stop them. “Dios mio… there’s no point in thinking about that anymore. What’s done is done,” She said to herself as she wiped a single tear from her eye. Fighting with the residual memories that flitted in and out of her mind, producing images that made her stomach churn.
Shaking her head, she continued to walk up the stairs. Finding new gusto to just hurry and get the hell out of there and never come back. Thank Lucifer that Charlie was always out trying to recruit demons to join the hotel this time of day, or out in a meeting with a potential sponsor. And, wherever Charlie was, Vaggie was fairly certain that damn Radio Demon was with her. They were probably talking with some crime lord now, Alastor doing most of the talking as he used his manipulative charm to sway the demon into helping with the hotel.
He probably had an arm around Charlie’s waist, holding her to his side during their meaning. She was probably leaning into him with a hand against his back. Just comfortable with each other’s presence, Vaggie couldn’t help but remember when they would use to sit together like that-
“AARGH” Vaggie hissed as she reached the top of the stairs, grabbing fistfuls of her platinum hair and tugging at it in a vain attempt to kick the thoughts from her head. Hoping the pain would jar her enough out of her own intrusive thoughts. But, she couldn’t help but wonder if they’ve said ‘I love you’ to each other yet…
Vaggie tried to ignore the tears continuing to brim in her eye as she made it to the penthouse floor, walking straight over to their old room. The door was unlocked, as it always was. Walking quietly into the room she leaned against the door, fighting a sob that bubbled in the back of her throat. “Get your clothes and get out.” She mumbled to herself, look up from her feet to scan her gaze across the room.
Things were different.
Firstly, the bed was made, with the pillows perfectly placed against the headboard. The blanket- which was now a deep maroon with silk black sheets- was smoothed out across the large mattress, tucked underneath it for a seamless appearance. The bed frame was now a deep mahogany set, with decorative carvings of flora and fauna along the top of the wood headboard. With unmistakable scratches etched against the float surface of the wood that sat right behind the pillows.
Not much else was different, besides the room being spotlessly clean. A few pieces of furniture were changed and moved around. There was now a coat rack next to the door, holding a few suit jackets in a familiar pinstripe red.
Everything that Vaggie had left here was gone, and Alastor had moved in.
She was about to just turn and leave, it was all too much to bear. Charlie has pushed Vaggie out of her life so quickly, had moved on like it was nothing. That was abundantly clear now, and it killed her. But, as she reached for the door handle, the all too familiar sound of static filled the room as a door open and closed from behind her. “Vaggie, what a surprise! It’s been a while hasn’t it? Almost a week! I suppose I’m most surprised to see you in Charlie and I’s quarters.” The way he emphasized his words, the static peaking in such a way that made Vaggie’s skin crawl.
She turned to face him, there was no way he was going to give him the satisfaction of seeing her flee from him in defeat. He was fresh from a shower, it appeared. A blood-red towel was wrapped securely around his narrow waist, with one of his hands holding onto one of the sides for extra support. His hair was still wet, dripping with water while his ears flicked droplets away every few moments scars crisscrossed his chest and arms, most looked quite old. Though a few choice scratches along his shoulders and bites against his collarbone appeared fresh. Almost like he’d received them the night before. Vaggie knew their origins all too well, and it made her want to retch. Locking her gaze with his, she crossed her arms over her chest, glaring at him with all the hatred and disgust she could muster. “This was my room,” she hissed.
He only chuckled at her attempt to appear threatening, looking her ruffled appearance up and down before a wider smirk grew on his features. “Oh I recall, this was your room. Back when you were with Charlie… my things have changed though, haven’t they?” He turned his back to her, walking over to one of the tall dressers and beginning to go through one of the drawers for clothing. Before Vaggie had a chance to respond to his jab, he cut her off. “You must be here for your things, Charlie had packed them all away for you so it was easier for you to gather them. Here you are,” with a quick snap of his fingers, two large boxes appeared beside Vaggie in a puff of red magic. They were neatly sealed with tape, a “V” written on them in red ink in Charlie’s unmistakable handwriting.
Vaggie knew it was going to take two trips to get all the large boxes down to the lobby, but there was no way she was going to ask anyone here for help. But, she wasn’t done yet. “Why aren’t you with Charlie right now? Here I thought you’d be following her around like a puppy.” She asked coldly, leaning against one of the boxes with a scowl. “That’s all you’ve been doing since you got here, after all.”
Alastor didn’t even glance up at her, picking up a pair of slacks from a drawer and setting them neatly down on top of the dresser for him to wear. Casually opening the drawer above the previous one to find a shirt next. “She had a meeting with her parents this afternoon, she decided it was best to go on her own. Lucifer doesn’t care much for me if you remember.” He hummed as he pulled a salmon-colored dress shirt out to sit beside the chosen slacks. “But, in any other situation I’d accompany her, she’ my darling Sheba after all.” The Radio Demon finally looked up, watching Vaggie from the mirror in front of him. “What’s the matter doll, jealous that you don’t get to be on her heels anymore?”
That grin caused Vaggie to sneer, the cross over her eye flashing red as she looked away with a low growl. She hated that he was right, despite not wanting to admit it. What she wouldn’t give to be with Charlie again, to go back to before this demon came into their lives. Before he effortlessly swept Charlie off her feet, stealing her heart away from Vaggie without even trying. Before she had to walk in on them-... she shook her head, looking back up at the Radio Demon to see him still look at her through the mirror. Watching her with a satisfied grin on his face.
“How do you sleep at night…” she breathed, trying her damndest to keep her composure. “You come here, ruin everything. And still have the balls to stand here and smile like you were just told some shitty pun.” She started pushing at the two boxes in front of her, trying to get them both out the door having been satisfied with what she had said. And, if she stayed any longer she was certain another fight would break out, one that she knew she wouldn’t win.
But, of course, Alastor had to have the last word, because all of this was quite entertaining. “I sleep like a baby my dear! I have Charlie by my side, after all. And, I’m sure you're aware that some of the activities she likes to get into at night. All the excitement tuckers a fellow out!” He paused running a hand over one of the bites that were still rather raw on his shoulder. “But, I think I manage to tucker her out as well… I can’t remember ever seeing such a mark of triumph on you though.”
The spear materialized in Vaggie’s hand before she could stop herself, whipping around with a snarl she glared daggers at the Radio Demon. Who had turned away yet again to gather a dress coat from the closet, but she could still see that damn smile on his face. Reeling her arm back, she made to throw the spear at him, hoping a quick enough action would be enough to catch him off guard.
But an inky shadow was wrapped around her arm before she could even try to throw it, holding the spear into her hand and keeping her arm extended back. Holding her in place as Alastor turned to face her, spinning dials flickering in and out of his gaze. “Oh, I wouldn’t try that again my dear. You remember how that went for you last time, don’t you?” With a snap of his fingers, he let the shadow go, allowing Vaggie to drop her arm and let the spear melt away. “After all, Charlie isn’t here to stop me this time. And, I can assure you, I have no problem with squashing a stupid moth who gets too close.” He regained his composure with a chuckle, smoothing out his hair as he watched Vaggie rub her arm with a low grunt.
“You know… that isn’t even the worst of it.” Vaggie sighed, catching Alastor’s attention as he pulled a deep maroon vest from the closet. Staring at her inquisitively as she leaned against the boxes yet again.
“Oh? Then by all means. Tell me what you believe is the worst about this situation,” Alastor chimed in a condescending tone, draping the vest over his forearm.
“You don’t love Charlie, that much I am certain of. You have some ulterior motive in all of this.” Vaggie mumbled, looking Alastor dead in the eye. “And, I don’t know what that is, but I do know you aren’t in this for romance. You don’t care if you hurt her, and hurting me to get to her was just a plus.” Vaggie’s hands were balled into fists, she was fighting tears as she continued to growl out her words. It oddly felt so good to finally be able to say all she wanted to say since the day she left the hotel.
 “Charlie really really cares about you, I can see that because I actually know her. And, her love is pure and unconditional, so to see it centered on someone like you… I can only hope you know that whatever you have planned will absolutely destroy her. And, that you’ll be able to be okay with knowing you’re going to lose what was undeniably the best part of either of your lives.” Vaggie has stared down at her feet, not want to see the grin on Alastor’s face. He was probably getting a kick out of her knowing his plan, because who would believe her? He was the savior of this hotel, the love of Charlie’s life. Everyone would disregard anything Vaggie had to say, and she didn’t doubt Alastor would have her killed if she even tried.
When she finally had the courage to look back up at Alastor, she was taken aback by what she saw. Alastor’s smile had dwindled to an almost neutral expression, which one would consider a frown for the likes of him, and the sight of Alastor in anything other than a wide grin made her take a step back. His eyes flashed with an emotion that phased in and out too quickly for Vaggie to read. In the next moment, his usual smile was back on his face, though it didn’t reach his eyes- which were narrowed in almost a glare. He cleared his throat, as static crackled dangerously around the noise. With a quick snap of his fingers, the boxes disappeared from beside Vaggie, causing her to almost fall. “The boxes are in the lobby, I suggest you get them and leave me to change. I have things to do besides listening to you try and pester me, I’m a busy man after all.”
The door slammed open behind Vaggie, causing her to jump back in surprise as the sheer force of the door caused the entire room to tremble. Light fixtures shuddered and a few knick-knacks fell from their spot on the bookshelf. As she watched Alastor turn away from her back towards his clothing, she noticed his shoulders tremble in anger. And, it was more than enough to cause Vaggie to turn tail and run out of the room, staggering when the door slammed shut just as she crossed the threshold. Nearly catching on her hair as she stumbled to a stop in the hall. What in hell was that? She didn’t want to dwell on it, jogging down the stairs back to the lobby and leaving with her belongings without another word.

He Left ~ pt. 7
Tumblr media
A/N: This was longer than I intended. I wanted to keep it short and simple but I just knew it wouldn’t be interesting enough so I just continued to write until I was pleased. I think that part 8 will be the final part so I’ll make my best to make it the best out of the best of the best I’ve written ;)
PAIRING: Sirius Black x reader
Xx
It was another day of Sirius shouting and screaming, cheering on his son while the other two children of his kept grinning at each other.
" YEAH SON! SHOW 'EM BLACKS ARE NOT TO BE MESSED WITH!" he continued to cheer and you couldn't help yourself but laugh at the embarrassment. "GO NUMBER 9!"
"Sirius." you pulled him down by the sleeve and he looked down, beaming. "He's number 11."
His beam quickly fell and he looked on the ice, squinting his eyes and cupping his mouth. "GO NUMBER 11!" he shouted while you laughed and pulled him down to sit again. He laughed with you, draping his arm around you and Lyra on the other side. "I think I'm getting the hang of it, don't you think?" he kissed Lyras head and ruffled Leo's hair next to her.
"Yeah. That's why mum is definitely going to put a mute charm on you on my recital." Leo replied, smiling at you.
"That's rubbish. Your mum was horrible at Charms. Flitwick kept telling her to sit at the far end where fewer students would be hurt." he winked at him before turning to you and catching your death glare. "You know it's true, love."
"Your father has no idea what he's talking about," you said.
"We'll just have to see at the recital, won't we?" he wrinkled the bridge ofa his nose at you but you just rolled your eyes at him, smiling.
---
After the game was over and the buzzer went off, all four of you waited outside for Dani to come.
He came out laughing with his teammates, ruffling each other's hair and playfully shoving each other. There was a beautiful smile on his lips, joyous and bright that caused your own heart to flutter in happiness and pride. That was your son. You carried him 9 months below your heart and you raised him to be this man.
You looked over to Sirius whose eyes were just the same as yours, proud and happy.
"Muuuummm. Stop crying." he groaned as he walked over to you. " You do it every time."
You pulled him for a hug and kiss his head. " You were so amazing out there. I'm so proud of you." you kissed his face again and again until he shoved himself away.
And though you didn't see it, Dani sure did. He was looking at his father, looking at you. His eyes were caressing you with tenderness and love. Every inch of you he saw just by looking at your smile and your teary eyes. How you continued to look over to your children with so much love that it was the most breath-taking view he ever laid his eyes upon.
He loved you. He loved everything on you. God, knows if he lost you he'd lose himself as well. Life, world, he himself... without you doesn't exist.
And Dani saw it. He saw and he understood.
"So how did I do?" he asked.
Sirius turned his eyes from you to his son and beamed.
"Didn't you hear him?" Leo wrapped his arm around his brother.
"I'm pretty sure the whole London heard him." Dani laughed. "Though half the time he was rooting for Mack, number 9."
"My eyesight isn't what it used to be." Sirius defended and you laughed, stepping in front of him and putting away his curls from his eyes.
"You're getting old, old man." you joked and with a habit that never seemed to go away, his hands placed themselves on your hip and pulled you closer.
"Who are you calling an old man?" he smiled and hardened his fingers on your hips, tickling you and causing you to bend in his arms.
"Stop!" you laughed and moved away, seeing three- four identical grins looking at you. Your cheeks burnt fire but you quickly looked at the boy coming behind Dani and waved.
"Hey, Blacks." the boy smiled and wrapped his arm around Dani's shoulder.
"Hey, Kevin." you smiled at the young boy while Sirius watched his daughter now turn her cheeks colour the same way as yours did before. He glanced between them suspiciously before catching his daughter's eye and turning her cheeks completelyscarlet.
Kevin's eyes met Sirius and he removed his arm from Dani's shoulder, stretching it out for him. "I'm Kevin Penney."
"Sirius." Sirius shook his hand firmly.
"Like the star." Kevin smiled before processing and looking at his best friend. "Wait- isn't your middle name-"
"Kevin Penney. Meet my father, Sirius Black." Dani sighed out.
"Oh..." Kevin stared at Sirius, baffeled and glancing between all three of them. "You guys look exactly like him- except for the blue hair, of course. Like...identical almost."
Dani and Leo laughed and both quirked an eyebrow at Kevin. "Identical?" they both said in unison. "I wonder where I heard that before." Leo smiled. "Where's your sister?"
"Jessie?" Kevin shrugged. "Don't know. I think she left to get food. Should I call her to bring you two gits something too? Maybe go to Madam's Diner, if it's okay with your mum?" he looked at you.
"That's a great plan, Kevin but these two are grounded. Week or two."
"Oh, blimey. Why?"
"How do you think I got my hair blue?" Sirius said while Kevin smiled broadly at Dani and Leo.
"Geniuses." he tapped Dani's shoulder before backing away from him. "Well, it was nice meeting you Mr. Black so I'll see you two twats in a week or two." he saluted, winked at Lyra and ran to his group of friends.
"Come on. We should get going as well." you put your arms around your boys while Sirius wrapped it around Lyra.
" I like him." Sirius smiled. "He's very charming." he looked down on Lyra. "And handsome as well. Don't you think, Lyra?"
Lyra looked up, her cheeks blooming roses. "Kevin?"
"Yeah. He's a handsome boy. Isn't he?" Sirius continued to tease,which made all other three of you grin.
"He- uhm. He's okay, I guess," she mumbled and you laughed.
"Come on, Sirius. Stop it," you whispered in his ear while he leaned over to you and whispered in return.
" It's heart-warming seeing her have a crush on him but she's only getting a boyfriend over my dead body."
"Is it because he reminds you of James?"
"No, it's because he reminds me of me."
---
The dark fell quicker than it has all summer. The clouds turned grey and soon after a few claps of thunder, it started to pour.
All four of you were in the kitchen; You yourself was washing the dishes, Lyra was drying them, Leo was preparing the cutlery and Dani was putting on the plates. “Can’t believe he’s staying another night here.” he said after putting the fifth plate down.
“ I think it’s great he’s staying over.” Lyra said as she took the glasses and starting to put them on the table.
“ Yeah, says the one who crawls to him each night.” Dani badgered at her and sat down on his chair.
“Calm down, Dani. He’s back and sooner or later we will have to get used to him being around.” said Leo calmly, and before Dani could reply, you cut in.
“You’re brother’s right, Dani. Just give him a chance.”
“I just don't understand-”
“ Merlin’s beard, it’s raining cats and dogs out there.” Sirius ran into the apartment, interrupting Dani and walking in with three pizza boxes on his hands, completely soaked.
“First of all, you’re dripping all over my floor.” you smiled, pushing him back in the hallway. “And I thought we said Chinese food?” you quirked an eyebrow, taking the boxes from his hands and walking into the kitchen.”
“There was an hour and a half to wait, so I just went to get pizza instead.” he shouted from the hallway and walking in the kitchen. His wet hair was tied up in a bun, his soaked black T-shirt completely tightened against his body, cutting out his chiseled chest and the V-line.
“ Save some drooling for the pizza, mum.” Leo whispered in your ear as he passed by, smirking at you.
Turning to him, you threw the cloth at his head and took Sirius’ hand. “Come on. Let’s get you some fresh clothes.”
You walked into the bedroom with Sirius right behind you. You opened the closet and began to speak. “Just take your-”
His hands firmly grabbed your hips and he turned you around, crashing his lips onto yours and kissing you, deeply, hungrily. You melted into it, letting your tongues swirl together with your fingers tugging his hair. He pressed you against the wardrobe, leaning his body on you.
If you knew how much you have missed him; his lips, his nose, his hands, his body, his touch, and his kisses- all of him, you would have forgiven him sooner- kissed him sooner but then you remembered why haven’t you.
“Sirius- wait.” you pressed your hand on his chest and pushed him away.
“I’ve waited way too long.” he pressed his forehead on yours and kept his hand on your cheek, caressing it with his thumb.
“The kids- they- uhm.” you panted, your heart racing and your body still burning fire. And with all your strength, ressistment of tasting his lips once again, you turned around and pulled out a shirt and a pair of trainers, including a pair of socks and dry underwear. “Here.” you put them in his hands and walked passed him.
He took a hold of your hand before you could reach the door and turned you around. “You- you kept my clothes?” he asked. “After twelve years?”
“I couldn’t get rid of them. It would hurt too much.” was all you replied with before walking back into the kitchen.
After all this time, twelve years, and still you kept his clothes in your wardrobe. Sirius opened it and everything was still in its place, exactly how he left it but as soon as his hands took a hold of his shirt, a familiar scent entered his nostrils. Your scent. Your perfume, your shampoo, your warm and calm scent that he favorited over any other. But then it came to him. He walked to the wardrobe and smelled a few of his sweaters, shirts, and hoodies. All of them smelled after you and he just knew. He knew that at nights after he left, you have worn every single one of them.
The nights you must have spent alone and afraid, in pain and angry at him for leaving. How all you ever wanted was for this to be all a nightmare to which you would wake up from... but it wasn’t. It wasn’t a nightmare, only life he has put you through.
So, with a pang of guilt on his mind, he changed his clothes and walked back into the kitchen.
“I can’t take it, mum! I need paint on my hands! I am not used to being so clean and tidy all the time.” Leo groaned. “How will I go through two weeks of no painting?”
“I think you’ve painted your father’s hair enough for three weeks,” you replied, opening up the pizza boxes and taking out a slice. “You want to make it three?”
“No.” he mumbled before looking at Sirius. “What do you think about this grounding thing? I think turning your hair blue was a good idea. Matches your eyes.”
Sirius chuckled and glanced at you before replying. “The blue hair is just karma paying me a visit. God knows how many student’s hair I turned in all shades of a rainbow,” he smirked. “ Plus, she knows what’s best for you. She’s your mother.”
And before you could say anything to his answer, Dani cut in first. “You’re our father as well. Why don’t you start acting like one then?”
All heads turned to the eldest and you have never seen the light in Sirius’ eyes fade so quickly as it did now. Because all Sirius could think of was himself and his own father.
‘ “How dare you talk to me like that! I didn’t raise you with such an attitude!”
“No, you didn’t! You pretty much only raised Regulus with me as his scapegoat! You’re my father as well! Why don’t you start acting like one then?!” ‘
“Dani!” you scolded and Dani’s eyes turned to yours, blue flames reflecting in them.
“What mum?! I can’t pretend anymore! I just can’t!” he snapped, standing up from his seat and keeping the tears at bay. “Aren’t I allowed to feel angry!? Furious and pissed off that he left for twelve years! If he loved us as much as he pretends to, wouldn’t he escaped Azkaban sooner!? Why did he wait twelve years!? Why didn’t he come to us sooner?!” he turned to Sirius with his eyes watering. “Why didn’t you come to us sooner?”
You’ve wanted for Dani to stop. You’ve wanted to stand up for Sirius but you couldn’t let yourself deny that those were the questions you’ve wanted to hear the answers to.
“I’ve waited for you! Every day I’ve waited. Every day my mum and my twin brother and younger sister waited for you! We all wanted for you to be innocent, to not be who they said you were! All I wanted was a father to be there when I started first grade! Or when I won my first game, won my first medal! All I wanted was you to see me proud- and I even wrote you a letter!”
“What?”
“I wrote you a letter and I sent it to you and I’ve waited for you to reply, days and nights- and weeks until I finally gave up!”
“Eridani...”
“STOP CALLING ME THAT! IT’S DANI!” he exploded. “Don’t you understand! I hate the name you gave me! I hate that your name is on my own! I hate being your son! I hate you!” the tears he was so determined not to show in front of him were now finally falling and his voice started to tremble. “You could have fooled them. They have too good of a heart to forgive you for what you put us through but me? It’s too late for any second chances with me. You left! Left, thinking only of yourself- and what kind of man leaves his wife, two infants and an unborn child like that?” he glared at him, leaning forward with his hands on the table and growling. “A coward.”

Banana milkshakes on a treacherous monday
“So I heard that you have a crush on me.” A voice behind you says. While your heart pounds like a maniac you turn around to match the voice with a face. “Peter Kavinsky.” You think out loud. “That is me.” He says a grin on his handsome face. “What were you saying?” You ask him, even though you heard him perfectly. “You have a crush on me.” Peter said clearly feeling proud knowing you have a crush on him, but you don’t really know why since you’re no one special. “I have a what?” You exclaim nervously. It is true that you had the biggest crush on Peter Kavinsky, but that was all in the past, right? “Why would you even think that?” “Gen told me.” He shrugs. You were new at school and because you’re quite pretty Gen wanted you to be one of her “friends” and invited you to sit with her at lunch. The two of you had been friends for a short while and before you even knew she was dating Peter, you had told her about your crush. She had promised you to keep it a secret, but since a few months the two of you had drifted apart since you didn’t like the bitchy side of that girl. You made new friends and now you are slowly starting to become the most popular girl in school. Everyone likes you because you are such a nice person and kind to everyone who is to you. “Well Gen told you something that happened months ago. I had a crush, talked about it and moved on. It’s that simple.” You close your locker and walk away. “Gen broke up with me.” Peter said hurrying after you. You frown. “I’m sorry, Peter. Are you okay?” This is exactly one of the reason why everyone likes you. Another person would have asked him why he was telling them this piece of information, but you just thought about how Peter could be feeling over the breakup. Peter smiled. “I’m okay, thank you.” He walked you to your car and closed the door for you. You rolled down your window. “See you tomorrow Kavinsky.” You say and drive away.
You’re sitting at the diner staring at your milkshake. You just had a fight with Sanderson and this was the only place you could go to clear your mind. Looking around the mildly crowded place you decide you need a better, more quiet place. With your head resting on your hands you try to think about a better place you can go to, completely forgetting about your surroundings. “Are you okay?” Kavinsky’s voice rudely wakes you up from your deep thoughts. He slides into the seat across from you. “You seem down.” You make a bad attempt at conjuring a smile on your face, but it makes you look even more sad. “Are you stalking me, Kavinsky?” His eyes widen for a brief moment. “No, I just came to get some fries and I saw you sitting here so beat and I thought you might want someone to talk to.” “I’m fine, Peter, but thank you.” “Tell me about it. Maybe I can help.” He grabs your milkshake away from you and takes a sip. “Mmmh banana.” You watch him drinking from your milkshake, the one you have barely touched. “You can’t help me.” You tell him. “It is guy trouble, isn’t it?” Peter asks you, his eyes in a squint as if he is trying to decipher you. “Did anyone else find out you have a crush on them?” A deep sigh leaves your lips. “I got in a fight with Josh Sanderson. Gen talked with him too and he told me he only saw me as a little girl. I can’t believe him.” “You’re into him?” Peter asks while sipping on your milkshake. You shrug. “I guess.” “Well there goes feeling special.” Peter mumbles. You frown at him, but decide not to say anything. Peter plays with the straw before looking up into your face with sparkling excited eyes. “Let me propose something.” “Shoot.” “Let’s date.” It feels like he just dropped a bomb on you. “What!?” You exclaim a little to loud. People in the diner turn to look at you and Peter, wondering what is going on. You give them an apologizing wave and turn back to Peter Kavinsky who clearly just had a mental breakdown. “That way you can show Sanderson how much of a woman you are and I can make Gen jealous.” Before even having thought about it you agree.
It’s Friday morning and the first day of dating Peter Kavinsky, you need to start this right. First, new wardrobe. No more colorful t-shirts and basic jeans with sneakers, that is to girlish. You need something more grown up. In the back of your closet you find a plain black t-shirt with a v-neckline and a pair of washed out jeans. Yet the outfit is too simple, it’s missing something. For the first time in years you open up the boxes of your moms old clothes. In between all the things you wouldn’t want to be found dead in you discover a badass looking bordeaux red  leather jacket. Together with a pair of high leather boots you are rocking this outfit. It’s stylish, simple, but mature. You look out of your bedroom window to see a car pull up in front of your house. He honks, but it isn’t until the driver pops out of the car you realize that this is your ride. “What are you waiting for babe?” Peter Kavinsky yells at your closed window, a broad smile on his face.  You can’t help but smile while you run down the stairs and go out the front door. It’s a good thing you don’t see Sanderson while you walk towards the car. Peter hugs you and looks at your jacket. “Cool piece, where did you get it?” “It was my mom’s.” You tell him before getting into the car. Like a gentleman he holds the door open for you and closes it when you are inside. While he walks around the car you spot Sanderson sitting on his front porch. Your eyes meet and then he quickly looks away. “So, are you ready for this?” Peter asks you while turning on the engine. “You actually came to pick me up.” You say, still a little surprised.   “I’m your boyfriend now.” Hearing him saying he is your boyfriend feels so weird and it is also quite confusing. “So, I’ll pick you up and drop you off every day and you go with me to parties.” “I don’t do parties.” You tell him quickly. “You were at my party last summer.” Peter reminds you. “That was only because Gen forced me to come with her.” You say still trying to get out of this arrangement. “And you know I left pretty quickly. I mean, I felt so uncomfortable.” You give him your sad puppy eyes and a cute pout. Peter just admiringly stares at your face. “I’m your boyfriend now and I promise that I will never let you feel uncomfortable again.” He holds up his pinky. You stare at his pinky with a frown. “Really?” You tease him. “Y/n, I solemnly promise to make you feel awesome.” Peter says, still holding out his pinky. The way he talks, his sweetness and his funny side is exactly the reason you used to have this enormous crush on him. You intertwine your pinky with his. “In that case, I promise to come with you, Kavinsky.”

Perennial Heart | Alec Utgoff x Reader | Chapter One
Summary: when you suddenly leave your home life to fly to a foreign country to find yourself, you never imagined you’d find someone else.
Have been debating about whether to make it a songfic or not so I’ve decided that the Paired Listening is optional. Yes, it’s an ABBA songfic. let me live
Word Count: 1717
Paired Listening (optional): “Knowing Me Knowing You” by ABBA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dpsn_mgEJ_w
Authors note: I’ve already wrote this once before my fic was deleted, so here’s the skinny
• This first chapter will mostly be development of the reader’s backstory and Alec’s backstory
• I’ve based the reader’s backstory on something that happened to me last year that I haven’t been able to talk about with anyone so I’m writing this chapter more for myself than anyone else, but it still goes with the story and will still be relevant, HOWEVER
•because of this, I’m going to make this first chapter optional. If you’re not super into reading it because it’s mostly development, that’s fine. You should be able to tell what happens if you start on chapter two
• this is my first time writing fanfic in a while so it might not be great but if you decide to read it then thank you anyway!!
TW FOR CHEATING
As you stepped inside your house, soaked in rain, you couldn’t help but feel like it was made of plastic. Sure, it looked like a real house, but in this moment, everything felt fake and manufactured. It reminded you of being young, when you would play in an old cardboard box. You could pretend it was a spaceship or a car or a house all you wanted, but your enjoyment inside the box was fixed to the central fantasy that the box was anything but what it was.
This is how your house felt, real all the way up until someone realizes that the realness of it is based on a lie, and that is when it begins to bend and sog and peel like something from the dollar store.
You had just found out your lie, and your house was peeling.
To start, you loved Seth. You knew you did. He made you smile, tried to show that he cared, and was the first human being that made you feel like you were loved unconditionally. He wasn’t always nice, but you two always found an end to your arguments, even if it took a while to get there.
You two had just moved into a small house together. You were still renting, but it was cozier than an apartment.
That morning, you were supposed to drop Seth off at work and come back to the house. You didn’t have much to do. You were just waiting for the summer to start up so you could start working again. That morning, after you had finished getting ready, you walked into the bedroom to grab something so inconsequential you don’t even remember what it was anymore. Seth was sitting on the bed with his back to you, scrolling on his phone. You walked over to lovingly rub his shoulder, but something petrified you in your tracks.
Seth was on a dating app.
It was a week before your one year anniversary.
You can’t remember what you said, but you made some sort of signal to let him know you were there. You considered playing it off as if you hadn’t seen anything, as it looked like that was Seth’s plan as well, but the tears in your eyes and frozen look of miserable disgust on your face could not hide what you knew now.
He tried to explain himself, do away with blame and explain that it was merely for the mindless enjoyment of it all, but you knew better. You wailed like a lamb at the slaughter. You let yourself go to your knees and clutched at the carpet as if that would have saved you from spiraling into the thoughts that had just been introduced to you. As he kept bumbling you felt your organs turn to lead and the taste in your mouth go sour. You left him in the middle of his sentence to go to the bathroom.
You huddled over the toilet, waiting to be sick, crying into it and feeling tears parade down your face. Seth followed you into the bathroom and sat on the floor next to you. You were wailing. You couldn’t remember exactly what, but you’re sure you asked him why he did this to you and why you weren’t good enough for him, as those were the only two thoughts you were capable of thinking in those moments. He began to cry. Seth never cried.
You remember parts of yourself thinking that it was sad to see him cry, and another thought he looked fucking pathetic, but you couldn’t feel the emotion of these statements as your psyche was blinded by the numbness of overwhelming grief.
You slammed your fist on the floor. You asked him a question. He sputtered something out through blubbery tears again and you slammed your fist down again.
He tried to gently touch your hand, calling you his soulmate and his love. You threw your hand back, and very clearly told him not to touch you. You kept wailing and wailing and crying and crying until you made no sound, just staring at the ceiling with the same horrified face, unable to make any sound.
as the wave of anguish began to subside, it was replaced by a calm pool of numb. You couldn’t feel much emotion after that. Your organs felt tired.
You looked at Seth and recognized that normally, seeing him this sad would put you in a large deal of emotional discomfort. You felt nothing. You also recognized that you cared about yourself too much to deal with Seth being such a fucking baby right now. You still felt nothing. You were a voyeur in your own body, unable to personally feel what you knew what you were supposed to.
Wiping tears from your face, you began to speak calmly.
“Seth, let me take you to work. We can talk about this tonight.”
Seth told you he’d be much more comfortable taking the day off work, but you insisted he go. You told him you needed some time alone to process. You promised things would be better this way. Hesitantly, he obliged, and you drove him to work in heavy silence.
And here you were, at home, with the foundation of your household crumbling before you. This was no longer your home, your threshold.
You took a few seconds to look around, and made up your mind.
You ran upstairs.
After rifling through your drawers, you found the bag full of tips you kept from last season at your job. You worked as a tour guide for a tourism company, so you always had to save tips for the months you’d be out of work;
but you weren’t going to use them for rent anymore.
You threw the tip bag into a larger duffel bag and began circling your room like a vulture looking for the essentials: Toiletries, notebooks, pens, chargers for your phone, and an old camera from the 90′s that used to be your mom’s. After packing those, the bag seemed full.
You retrieved the largest suitcase you owned from your closet and began packing. You packed nearly every article of clothing you could until it was bursting at the seams. You used the front pockets for shoes.
With everything ready to go, you took a last look at your house, got in the car, and left.
You were going to Kiev, but you had some stops to make along the way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alec threw open the door to his apartment, turned on the lights, and threw his jacket across the room.
He’d get it later. Or not.
In all honesty, Alec thought life after Stranger Things was going to be better. He thought fame would only make him more popular, more liked by all. To his dismay, the people didn’t like him in the way he thought they would.
For instance, the date he had just come back from was a total bust. The girl was nice enough. Pretty. But she wasn’t interested in Alec. She was interested in Alexei. An actor. She did not see Alec as a human, but as a signal to the vicinity of fame and fortune. She had been shallow. When she spoke of herself, it sounded more like a sales pitch than an introduction. She told Alec to text her later. While it would have been a nice gesture, he decided not to as to not give her the wrong idea.
Ever since he played Alexei, every single date has gone on like this. Girls lined up for miles to catch a date with him, but he felt more like a tourist attraction than a well-liked human being. He was a collection of rare attributes, or a shiny ring that all of the men and women on the Merry-go-round wanted to touch or even get close to so they could tell their other friends about it.
Alec walked to one of the windows of his apartment that gave him a beautiful view of the city at night.
Maybe it was London?
He thought about it. London was becoming incredibly crowded for his taste. Not that it wasn’t crowded before, but recently he felt as if everyone had to be close to him. Perhaps going out less and laying under the radar would make things more tolerable when he came back.
He wandered over to his piano and tried playing something new.
That was another problem. Ever since people  started treating him the way they were, he couldn’t gather his thoughts and concentrate. Every time he tried to write, including this time, his hands would tangle themselves in each other or splay themselves out on the keyboard awkwardly like a newborn deer. He sounded about as good as that baby deer would sound if it had been at the bench. He got up.
He looked at the London sky again.
Maybe it was time for a change of scenery. Somewhere that wouldn’t suffocate him and allow him to bloom artistically as he had been able to do before.
Bloom. He thought of the botanical gardens that bloomed around this time every year in Kiev. How gorgeous and open the city was. In the moment, it seemed like the answer to all of his problems.
He had family in Kiev. Perhaps it was time he made a visit.
Alec picked his jacket back up and hung it before heading to bed, already planning in his head what he would do on his impromptu trip to Kiev.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before you got to the airport,  you made a stop at the bank to deposit your money and to move all of your savings into your checking account. Seth always told you that keeping savings was a good idea, but you couldn’t be bothered to listen to him right now.
You stopped at a Starbucks and got a large cup of something awful, but you didn’t care. Taste meant nothing to you as you drafted your message to Seth.
“get an uber home. I need some time to myself. The car will be at the airport parking lot. I’ll be back in a week.”
After that, you used the Starbucks wifi to get online and book your ticket to Kiev.
And with that, you headed to the airport.
(A/N Thanks for reading the first chapter! This was very cathartic to write (again) and I’m really pumped for the rest of it! Have a great day folks!)

Helping Hand
INVOLVED: Maya Morgan and Israel West TIME FRAME: Flashback LOCATION: General Store; Denver, Colorado SUMMARY: Israel takes Maya to the project he needs her help with.
Israel pulled up to the store front in the Chevy truck and he turned the car off, looking over at Maya with a hum. “This is it,” he told her easily as he unbuckled his seatbelt and slid from the car, his boots crunching in the snow a bit. Closing the door behind him, he walked around to the passenger side carefully, mindful of the ice on the ground. Opening Maya's door, he offered her his gloved hand with a smile.
 Maya licked her lips and looked out the window a bit as the man drove, he drove up to the store, she looked over at him gently. He stopped the car and turned it off, she watched him climb out before she unfastened her seatbelt as well. She looked to his hand and grabbed it, climbing out of the truck with his help. She grabbed her purse and licked her lips, zipping up her jacket a bit.
 Israel helped Maya out of the car carefully. “Watch your step there,” he told her gently before he closed the car door behind her. “This was my father’s store,” he informed her as he placed his hand on her lower back, guiding her to the door easily, watching for ice patches. Pulling away from her, he reached into his pocket and pulled out the keys. He flipped through them before he found the right one and he stuck it into the lock, turning it slowly before he opened the door, letting Maya enter first. “Ladies first,” he said easily.
 Maya walked along with the man quietly and she made sure she walked carefully against the ice. She didn’t know if she’d ever get used to Colorado, but she assumed she would have to at some point. She licked her lips gently and nodded her head. “I see” she said softly to him and she looked around the store front gently taking it in. She looked up at him and nodded her head at him as she moved into the store looking around it, she made sure she dusted her feet off as she walked in further.
 Israel walked in behind Maya, closing the door behind them, shutting out the cold. “Give me one second,” he said to her gently as he locked the door behind them and moved through the dark store, only lit by the daylight outside. He moved to the back, opening up the box and flipping the switch for the breaker before he flipped the power switch and turned on all of the circuit. The buzz of electricity running began humming through the building and he moved back towards the front as he flipped the light switch on the wall near the counter, illuminating the room for Maya, revealing various clothing racks, shelves, and area for various goods.
 Maya nodded and said “okay” to him softly as he locked the door and ran off, disappearing in the dark. She shifted on her feet and shook a bit trying to shake the cold off of her and she moved to pull her gloves off slowly. She tucked the gloves into her purse and watched as Israel returned. He turned the lights on lighting up the place and she looked around it, taking it in “it’s spacious” she told him, nodding her head as she stepped in further looking at the racks.
 Israel nodded at Maya’s words. “Yeah, it used to be filled with things, now this is all that’s left,” he said with a small sigh. “At a certain point, my dad just got too tired to keep the store up and he closed it down,” he explained. “Had an everything must go sale,” he told her as he walked over to the thermostat and turned it on, he pressed the heat up and up and up with a hum. Setting the temperature, he looked back at Maya and said, “so what do you think? Think we can turn this store around?”
 Maya nodded her head at his words as she looked around a bit more, picking up an item and putting it back down idly. She licked her lips again “oh” she said to him gently “I can understand that” she said understandingly. At his question she looked back at him “huh?” she said softly and very confused. “You want us to reopen this?” she asked him softly.
 Nodding at Maya, Israel confirmed her suspicions. “Yeah,” he said easily. “This is the project I was talking about,” he hummed out. “I’ve been wanting to re-open for a while but… I can’t do it alone,” he explained. “I would really appreciate your help,” he told her with a soft smile as he pulled his gloves off, sticking them into his pockets as the heat kicked in and began to warm the store for them.
 Maya looked at the man in his eyes as he confirmed what she figured he were. She shifted on her feet and placed her hands in the pockets of her coat looking around them again. “I understand you are trying to help me, but you don’t have to do this,” she told him. “To trust me with this” she said her brows furrowing together “this once was your father’s thing” she said unwilling to accept that this man cared and wanted to help her.
 Israel walked through the partly empty store and he leaned against an empty rack as he listened to her. His tongue drug over his lips slowly and he said, “I don’t,” easily with a small shrug, his shoulders touching his ears, “but I suggested that you stay and in doing so it’s my responsibility to help you find your footing and assist you in any way that I can,” he told her with a hum. “As far as trusting you,” he let out a sigh, “I know that you’re a good woman,” he said truthfully. “I see the light in you, and I know that you have a pure heart and spirit,” he breathed. “I know that I can trust you and I believe that you can help me with this,” he said.
 Maya watched him as he replied back to her, coolly leaned against a rack. He did suggest she stay and on a damn whim she did, to this day she had no clue why. She didn’t know the man and couldn’t say for sure he’d even help her. Though on the other end of the stick he had been, and she’d been trying to coward and hide from it for some odd reason. At his compliment she looked down, her eyes slowly moving to look at something else altogether. “Okay” she said softly as she shifted on her feet and finally looked back at him.
 Nodding slowly, Israel leaned up from the rack and he smiled his pearly whites at her. “Thank you,” he said with a hum as he patted the rack with his hand idly before he moved away from it. He walked into the center of the room, looking around the space with a sigh. He turned in a full circle, just taking it all in with his hands on his hips before he said, “first thing first, we have to dust,” chuckling before a sneeze escaped him and he quickly brought his arm up, letting it out into the crook of his arm. He sniffled softly before he began to shrug off his coat, growing a bit warm as the heat rose in the building. Moving over to the counter, he laid his coat over it easily before he began rolling his sleeves up a bit. “How’s the cabin treating you?” he asked her curiously.
 Maya watched him examine it all and she said “bless you” to him after he sneezed into his arm. He took his coat off and set it aside, rolling up his sleeves and she continued to stand there idly. “Great” she said nodding her head “you know it’s beautiful…. and quiet” she told him. “Peaceful” she added as well trying to mask the comment of it being quiet.
 “Thank you,” Israel said as he rolled up the other sleeve, nodding as she spoke about the cabin. At the mention of it being quiet, he let out a sigh. “It is a pretty big place for just one person to stay,” he said thoughtfully, even as she tried to mask it. With his sleeves rolled up, Israel walked over to the side and he picked up an old t-shirt that had fallen off of a rack. Shaking it out a bit, he walked over to a shelf and used it to dust it off a bit. “I could stay there with you a couple nights a week,” he suggested with a shrug. “Just to keep you company,” he hummed out thoughtfully before he looked back at her.
 Maya continued to watch him before she moved towards the counter, she placed her purse down and removed her jacket. She placed her jacket against his and turned to watch him as he idly dusted off the shelf. “You are too busy for that,” she said, shaking her head at him. She was fine with raiding the wine and liquor cabinets late at night when she felt too lonely to sleep.
 “I can make do,” Israel said easily as he turned to look back at her, taking note that she had taken off her coat as well. He turned to her fully and said, “I’m going to see what I can find in the cleaning closet,” he told her. “Actually, let me show you around the back,” he said thinking it over as he sat the shirt on the shelf and dusted his hands off a bit. “C’mon,” he said nodding his head in the direction as he walked to the back.
 Maya tucked her lips in at his words and she sighed, she didn’t fight with him on it she’d fought one man for several years already. She rested her hand against her chest, before she adjusted the v-neck top a bit. “Okay” she said to him as he prepared to leave only for him to state that he wanted her to come with him and she nodded her head moving to follow him and she stuck her hands into her jean pockets quietly.
 Walking to the back, Israel flicked on a light switch and he said, “this is the back room,” with a hum. “It doubles as the break room and the storage room,” he told her, pointing to the small kitchenette area in the corner and then to some boxes off to the side before he gestured to the small round table and four chairs, “that door is the bathroom,” he pointed to it before he walked over and turned the knob, opening the door to show her. Closing the door back he said, “and this door is the cleaning closet,” he said as he opened the door and stepped inside. He reached up and turned on the light from the chain hanging from the ceiling and illuminated the room filled with boxes, cleaning products, and etcetera. “Still pretty stocked,” he said observing out loud.
 Maya followed behind the man and she nodded her head as he showed her the backroom. He pointed out the various spots in the space including the bathroom and she nodded her head again. He opened a door to the cleaning closet, and she nodded her head at him a third time looking at the space and what was inside of it. “Okay” she told him.
 Israel looked at Maya as she stood there just outside the room, so hesitant and quiet. Taking her in, he let out a hum and he said, “I don’t bite,” with a chuckle, wanting her to relax, just a bit. Turning from her, he grabbed some cleaner and an actual rag, holding them in his hand easily before he snatched up the broom with a hum. “Let’s just do a bit of dusting and sweeping today,” he said, “then if you’re comfortable, we can map out sometimes to come and really whip this place back into shape,” he hummed out thoughtfully. “When we leave here later, do you want to grab a bite to eat?” he asked her now as he turned off the light and stepped out of the room with the items in his hand.
 Maya nibbled her lip at his words, she didn’t move however instead she kept put until he grabbed the items they needed. “Sounds good” she told him, nodding her head at his words. “Okay” she added with a shrug “not like I have anything to do these days” she told him. “Of course… does it look like I’d pass up a meal?” she asked him as she moved out of the doorway.
 Israel closed the door behind him as he managed to grip all of the items in his large hand as he nodded at Maya before his face scrunched. He gazed at her, blinking slowly. “I wish you wouldn’t do that,” he sighed out softly as he looked into her eyes.
 At his words she raised her brows to her hairline “wish I didn’t do what?” Maya asked him curiously. She wasn’t trying to upset him or bother him in any way. Hence why she kept herself so quiet to begin with. She licked her lips and moved out of his way, as she looked down at the floor.
 “Talk down about yourself and to yourself,” Israel said gently as he took her in, letting his eyes roll over her curves for a moment before he looked back into her eyes. “There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the way that you look,” he explained to her softly as he handed her the broom, with the dustpan hooked onto it.
 Maya looked at him and she didn’t say anything, he like everyone else was just pretending she wasn’t huge and disgusting to look at. She grabbed the broom in her hand and moved to walk back towards the door slowly.
 As she said nothing, Israel pulled his bottom lip into his mouth and he followed behind her with a hum. Damn, her husband had really messed her up bad. It was a shame. Maya was so beautiful. Shaking his head, he moved into the main space and began to dust off the shelves, spraying a bit of the cleaner to help.

Truth

Title: Truth
Parring: Bucky x Reader
Word Count: 2147
Warning: Sassy reader, light mentions of sex, some language, fluff
Ratting: 18+ for good measure
Summary: You and your boyfriend have been secretly dating for several months. One day, you two are assigned to do inventory in the lab. However, things don’t go as plan when truth powder is discovered.
A/N: Thanks to @teamcap4bucky for letting me participate in her 1K Celebration writing challenge. Congratulations my friend! Please check out her blog. The prompts I had were you were moaning my name out in your sleep last night and he’s right behind me, isn’t he?
There were many reasons your boyfriend loved you. You were smart, caring, funny, hardworking, and sassy. However, you had been known to be very stubborn at times which sometimes got you both into trouble. Nevertheless, inventory in the lab had to be done and the only person he wanted to do it with was you.
“You know every time you get that gleam in your eye you get me in trouble,” you stated as you looked up from your desk. The man who you had been secretly dating now for four months was leaning against your doorway with that mischievous gleam in his eyes again. His arms crossed over his broad chest.
“I do no such thing. Besides the last time that we got into trouble was when you forget to lock your bedroom door and Steve almost walked in and caught us making out,” Bucky chuckled. You stood up from your desk and walked over to his with your hands on your hips.
“The only reason that happen was because you pinned me to the wall before I had a chance to do so,” you responded sassily. He gave another chuckle.
“While I would love to debate that point with you all day Doll we have inventory to do. Remember? So come on and help me and then maybe we can have a little fun.” He stated with a smile as he took your hand and pulled you out of your office only to drop in when he got into the hallway.
You decided that being drugged into the lab by Bucky wasn’t such a bad deal after all especially since he had been on a mission in Nepal for the last two weeks and this was the first time you two had been able to be alone. Let just say for the first hour of inventory all you two got accomplished was augh rediscovering each other in the supply closet. The second hour you were thanking the heavens that you had worn your black capris leggings and gray v neck short sleeve shirt to work that day for a whole other reason. The lab was hot and it wasn’t only because of the company. Machines buzzed to life all around you on the walls not to mention the countless computers and gadgets that Toney had been fidgeting with scarred all around on the countertops. You had just finished checking off the last several items on your list and had three boxes stacked in your hands that you were about to place on the top shelf when you heard his voice boom from within the supply closet.
“Y/N is there a large white bag on the floor close to you?”
“Yes. Why?”
“What does it say? I may need to lock it up in here.” You placed your boxes on the shelf and bent down to read the contents of the bag around.
“It says Sodium Pentothal on the outside of it.”  You picked up the large heavyweight brown canvas bag in your arms. “Here I’ll bring it to yo…” Before you could even get the words out Bucky can running out of the storage room to get the heavy canvas bag that you had just placed into your hands. His large hands grab tightly around the bag as he tries to pull it from you.
“I got it. Let go Y/N.” He commanded in an authoritative tone.
“What gives Barnes doesn’t think I can handle this little bag,” you retorted with a huff as you gave him a gruff look. He gritted his teeth and pulled a little harder in the bag.
“That’s not it. You don’t have any idea what you are dealing with there. Let me have it okay.”
“A think I have a good idea. My boyfriend doesn’t think I can handle giving him a heavy bag.” Your muscles groan underneath the wait is the bag that you held in your arms now tighter. It was no way you were going to let him let him get the last word.
“It’s not about that,” Bucky deadpan looking at your straining face. “Just don’t want you hurt.” He tugged on the bag harder this time locking eyes on you.
“James come on really!” You sassed as you gave him a gruff stare.
You yanked the bag harder this time at the same time he decided to pull as hard as he could. Little did both of you know that a small rip at the bottom of the bag had already occurred on the seam. This tugging match you two were having did little for it and with one last pull, the bag ripped spilling its white powdery contents into the air with a poof! White power floated through the air covering all insight. Your hands, face, and outfit were covered with white power. You began to giggle as you looked at Bucky. He was no better than you. His brown hair and scuff were covered with the white powder making him almost look like a mini Santa. His maroon Henley that you loved was now speckled in white and his blue jeans looked more stonewashed than blue. You both couldn’t help but laugh as you looked at one another.
“Y/N look what you did!” Buck chuckled as he laughed at your sight.
“Me! Look what you did Barnes,” you giggled back at him as you pointed to him. “You look like an old man.” He gave you a large smile as he chuckled loudly.
“Old?” His blue eyes showed with a mischievous glare. “Is that why you were moaning my name out in your sleep last night Doll because I’m old or is it because you want me in your bed?”
“Barnes that never happen, however, I would be happy to take you up on that” you sassed back with a raised eyebrow as you rested your hands on your hips.
“You know I love it when you're sassy,” Bucky chuckled.
“And I lo-…” Your confession of love was on your lips however it was interpreted by Steve Rogers voice booming behind you two.
“What are you two doing!?” He loomed in the doorway crossing his large muscular arms over his chest. Natasha was right behind him and laughed at the sight of you two covered in the white truth-telling powder.
“He/She broke the bag.” You two said in unison said pointing at the other. “Hey stop that, Bucky deadpan.
“No. You. Stop. Let Go.” You gave another tug on the now empty bag finally pulling it out of your boyfriend's hands. You gave him a smug smile and then stuck your tongue out at him. He stood looking at you and crossed his arms.
“Real mature, Y/N. I can show you some places you can put that tongue of your. . .”
“Buck!” Steve yelled before he could finish that statement. Steve gritted his teeth. “You two. Separate. Now.” Before you knew it, Natasha had grabbed your arm and pulled you out of the lab door to clean up. After hitting the showers, you decided that since she had been harping on you to train more you would hit the gym.
(In Another Location...)
“Ok, I got all pretty up for you. Can I go now?” Bucky asked as he finished getting dressed from a shower. His gray sweet paints and black teeshirt hugged his body perfectly. He laced his shoes as Steve leaned against the door with his arms still crossed.
“Not a chance. You know what that stuff was; truth serum. It is no way I am leaving you along right now.” Steve picked up the powered covered clothing and towel and deposited into a hamper.
“Not goin’ to be along. Going to find Y/N,” Buck stated flatly.
“Why?”
“Been going out with her for the last three months and want to see my girl. That’s why. Besides, how else can I be along with her when you are always around. Do you realize how hard that is?”
“Wait. You and Y/N are a thing?” Steve just shook his head in awe. Bucky and you had hidden it so well that no one knew. Yes, maybe expected something but not knew; at least not until now.
“I’m going to train. So if you want to babysit me than you better come on Rogers,” Bucky stated walking out of his room with Steve right on his heels.
The gym door swung open as you marched into it with determination. You wanted to train. Heck, you even had his favorite black and white exercise leggins and black sports tank. There was no way anyone was going to stop you
“I don’t think the gym is a good ideal right now Y/N."  Natasha was following Ema right on your heels.
"Why? You always say that I need the extra practice.” You said exasperated with your hands on your hips.
“Yes but that when you and Barns haven’t been exposed to a truth serum powder.”
“ So now you are my babysitter,” you said flatly.
“Yes, for right now,” Natasha’s voice was almost in amusement. You stood facing Natasha who was now in front of her just shaking her head as she crossed her arms trying to head you off.
“Do you know how frustrating that man is?"  You waved her hands for emphasis. "We were in a closet for a little bit with him pulling me closer to him while he was flirting with me,” you noted as you pointed to yourself. Natasha looked at you in amusement with a slight smile creeping upon her face. “I mean do you know how HOT he is? Bucky teased me, saying I had a sassy mouth. It took everything I had not to tell him that the only way to shut me up was him to use a much better pick up line or put his tongue in my mouth. I really wanted him to do the second. I mean he is HOT.” Natasha now was rolling with laughter so hard that tears were beginning to form in her eyes.
“ Y/N you-you really don’t know when to shut up do you?” She said between giggles.
“No not really why?” Nat shook her head to the right than to the left. You glanced to her right seeing Steve beside you. He shook his head in amazement trying not to laugh. “Oh crap! You know,” you continued looking up now at Steve now “I can’t figure him out sometimes."
"That makes two of us right now.” He said with a slight laugh.
“I can’t tell if he just wants to kill me,” talking with your hands again now placing a figure closer to your lips biting on it some, “or take me to bed.” Steve put his hands over his forehead and over his eyes now almost in tears trying not to burst into laughter his face getting more red every moment. “Wait!” you said realization hit you, “if you are here and that means he’s right behind me isn’t he?” You asked as you jerked your head several times to the left emphasizing your point.
“Yep,” Steve answered you with a grin.  You immediately blushed and looked straight ahead to Natasha who was now laughing her head off again.
“You are no help Nat!"
"No, not really but that is all on you girl."  You turned facing Bucky now who was standing behind you looking very cocky with his arms folded.
"You heard everything didn’t you?”
“ Yes,” he said smugly as he moved closer to you placing his left arm around your waist while his flesh hand tucked a piece of it behind her ear. His hungry blue eyes darkening. “And I plan on taking you up on the last part doll. You know you're sexy as hell. I will be very pleased to shut you up probably leaving all kinds of marks on you so everyone will be able to tell that you are mine. Would you like that doll?” His voice dripped with lust.
“Yes, sergeant,” you said innocently.
“Do something, Steve. "Natasha commanded.
"What do you want me to do?” Steve looked at the both of you and then back to Natasha.
“ Stop them.”
“ Ok, Buck let her go and come on.”
"Get your own girl she’s mine.“ He huffed tightening his grip on you.
” See that’s what I’m dealing with,“ Steve said in frustration.
"Come on doll lets go now.” His smile was intoxicating
“Where?”
“Back to my room.” Bucky took your hand in his and led you out of the gym without father argument.
"Steve!“ Natasha called out again.
"Just chill Tasha they been together for a while now anyway..”
“ What?” Her green eyes lighting up in shock. He let out a frustrated huff.
“Yes, they were just keeping it quiet.”
"Guess that’s out now.“

Chris & Ellie's Road Trip: Part 1
April 18, 2017
With Daisy and Dodger following, Chris Evans made his way up to the bedroom he shared with his wife of two months. Knowing he'd find her in their walk-in closet, he made his way over, but stopped in the doorway when he found her sitting against the drawers looking at her phone. She was supposed to be packing, but the two hanging clothes boxes and the other boxes they'd brought up earlier were all empty.
"Need some help?" he asked, leaning against the door frame. He was slightly annoyed by the fact that she'd been up here for two hours and hadn't gotten anything done, but shook that off since they'd spent the last couple days packing up everything they wanted to take with them to Georgia for the next several months.
"I don't know what to pack," she confessed, looking up at him. "And my sisters and friends have been absolutely no help. Neither has your brother."
Chris pushed himself off the doorframe and joined her on the floor. "You had no problem packing your craft and work stuff," he commented. "What's different about the clothes?"
"I'm sort of married to someone super famous," she replied, holding up her left hand and showing off the diamond engagement ring and matching wedding ring. "I can't exactly go to the grocery store in ratty clothes anymore. Not to mention it's fucking hot in the south during the summer." She sighed. "And then there are the dresses. I mean am I going to need a cocktail or more formal dress? Do I need to pack one or five just in case?"
"I happen to like you in ratty clothes," Chris said, bumping her knee with his own. "And we aren't really in a bubble in Atlanta like we are here. Sure, there are people hanging out around the set and stuff, but for the most part, they don't follow us anywhere. As for the dresses, you probably won't need anything super fancy, but maybe a dress or two? I mean, it's not like you can't go to the mall or something if you need a dress."
"You make it seem so easy," she replied, laying her head on his shoulder. "I don't know how you do this all the time."
"Well, I do cheat a little when I'm doing press stuff." He chuckled. "But the studio prefers what the stylist puts together for me." He wrapped his arm around her. "Would you like me to help you pack? Even if it's just to stop you from packing all of your Oregon Duck shirts?"
"Oh, they're are all coming," Ellie stated, elbowing him softly as she sat up. "Don't pretend that you didn't pack all of your Patriots stuff."
"I noticed all the Oregon and Seahawk stuff is packed up downstairs, too," he noted. "But I guess it wouldn't be our home without our favorites with us."
"Exactly," Ellie replied as her eyes shifted to the empty boxes. She sighed. "Guess it's time to get this part done. Help me up."
Chris shook his head, but got up. He then held out his hands and helped haul Ellie to her feet.
"Thanks," she said. Turning to look at the boxes, she frowned. "I hate moving. Let's never move."
"We'll have to move eventually," he stated as he wrapped his arms around her from behind. "You know my feelings about raising kids in LA…"
"I know." She patted his forearm. "But I might just sell everything and buy everything new."
"That might work for your craft stuff, but you hate shopping for clothes," he reminded her with a chuckle.
"Oh, right," she sighed. Looking at the boxes again, she added, "Maybe I should pack my stuff for our trip, too. Then I don't have to worry about that either."
"That would be a good idea," Chris agreed. "Seeing as we leave tomorrow night."
With Chris due to start filming for Marvel in Atlanta in two weeks, he and Ellie had decided to drive to Georgia in her Honda CR-V with the dogs instead of flying. Rather than driving the interstate and getting to Georgia in a couple days, they had decided to make a week of it and drive as much of Route 66 between Santa Monica, California and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as they could. They'd spent the last couple weeks consulting websites, maps and books to determine where they'd be able to travel on the old mother road and where they'd have to drive on Interstate 40. Once they left Oklahoma City, they would use the interstate highway system to get to their rental house outside of Atlanta.
Before they could leave, however, they had to finish packing up what they wanted to have in Georgia and get those items ready to be shipped by the studio to their rental house. Since they would already be on the road when the truck came, Chris's brother, Scott, would make sure everything they packed ended up on the truck.
It took Chris and Ellie the better part of an hour to select and pack what she'd need in Georgia. There were some drawers (socks, underwear, bras, etc.) that they just dumped into boxes and she fished out a few items for her suitcase. For the rest of her clothes, they were selective in what they packed. Nearly all of her t-shirts, jeans and shorts were packed, but they didn't pack any of her formal dresses and only a couple cocktail dresses. She included a few casual dresses and skirts and Chris added a couple more with a playful gleam in his eye.
That playful gleam lead to a make out session that was interrupted by Scott yelling into their bedroom and asking if they wanted to get pizza before the Red Sox game started. They both answered yes and straightened their clothes before returning to what they'd been doing before their unscheduled break. They added a couple more things to the boxes before they sealed them closed. Then they hauled them downstairs to the garage where they'd set up a loading zone for the stuff that was going with them to Georgia.
By the time they were finished, the pizza had arrived and the Red Sox game was underway. They joined Scott in the basement to watch the game while they ate pizza and drank beer. They were all happy to see that the Red Sox had gotten past the flu and other viruses that had ravaged the clubhouse for the first couple weeks of the season.
The mood on the couch was a little bittersweet as Chris and Ellie prepared to leave while Scott stayed behind. He'd moved into the guesthouse when Ellie had moved out a couple years earlier and had stayed when she'd moved back in with Chris. Since then, other than holidays, vacations and other random times, at least two of them at been at the house at any given time and now it would just be Scott.
Less than twenty-four hours later, Chris and Ellie loaded the dogs into the back seat of the CR-V and harnessed them in to keep them safe. Their suitcases and the few other items they were taking with them on the drive were loaded into the trunk along with the dogs' crates. Ellie gave her brother-in-law a hug and a kiss on the cheek before stepping aside so Chris could say goodbye to his brother with a hug of his own. Then they got into the car and began their journey.
The first stop on their trip was the Santa Monica Pier, which was technically the official end of Route 66, but it was where their journey on Route 66 would begin. They'd purposely started their drive in the early afternoon as they planned to spend the night at the Wigwam Motel in San Bernardino.
Traffic on the way to Santa Monica was as heavy as usual, but they passed the time listening to music. They had perfected their music playlists by combining their music collections and putting it on shuffle. Just like on their drive to Oregon earlier in the year, the driver had the power of veto. Meaning that when a song the driver hated came on, they could choose for it to be skipped. Since they both had similar tastes in a wide range of music, the veto wasn't used very often and was typically reserved for a song that really grated on the other person's nerves.
When they arrived at the pier, it took them awhile to find a parking spot, but Chris finally found one a couple blocks away. Ellie snickered as Chris put on his NASA hat to go along with his sunglasses and smiled when he lowered the glasses to give her a raised eyebrow. Leaning over, she gave his lips a peck before going back to her side to grab her own hat, a Boston Red Sox one.
Getting out of the car, they put the dogs on their leashes and then walked down to the pier. They found the "End of the Trail" sign and Ellie stopped a pier employee to ask if they would take a picture of them. They posed for the photo and thanked the employee before making their way back to the car.
"Atlanta, here we come," Ellie said as Chris pulled out of the parking spot.
For the first hour or so, Dodger sat in his seat with his nose pressed to the window watching as the world flew by. Eventually, though, he settled himself down and fell asleep like his sister, Daisy. The dogs were already pros at road trips since they had traveled with Chris and Ellie to and from Oregon for the wedding.
The first part of Route 66 took them through the heart of Hollywood and the major sights until they reached Pasadena. From there, the road passed residential areas and economic districts. The drive was slow going thanks to traffic and the fact that the speed limit was much lower than the highway that had replaced Route 66.
While Chris drove, Ellie called their parents and talked to them on speaker phone. They had told their family of their travel plans, but their mothers, especially, had insisted on getting phone calls from them on a daily basis. Both moms had also insisted on having a copy of their driving itinerary that included where they planned to stay the night and all their major stops. While Chris and Ellie had understood the reasoning behind the requests, it had made them roll their eyes and laugh.
It took them over four hours to reach their stop of the night, the Wigwam Motel in San Bernardino. While Ellie went in to check them in for the night, Chris got the dogs out of the car and took them for a short walk to do their business and stretch their legs. Returning to the hotel's property, he led the dogs over to the cement teepee that their car was parked next to.
After bringing everything that needed to go into the teepee in, they put the dogs back on their leashes and then explored the area around the motel, going into the 'Route 66' shops that would allow the dogs inside. They finished their exploration by picking up dinner to go and returning to their teepee a little after eight that evening.
"I feel like I'm in the Cozy Cone," Chris said referring to the name of the hotel in the Disney movie Cars. He and Ellie sat on the couch in their teepee eating their dinner while the dogs were curled up on the large dog bed that they'd brought with them.
"Exactly," Ellie replied. There was nothing fancy about the motel, but that was part of the charm and experience.
It had been Ellie's idea to travel Route 66 and she had sold Chris on the idea after they'd watched the Disney movie Cars. She'd shown him photos of places that had inspired the locations in the movies and, by the time she had finished, he'd been on board with the trip and as into finding the best routes as she had been.
Knowing they had a full day ahead of them, they finished eating and then each took a turn in the tiny shower. Then they put the dogs in their kennels before climbing into the bed a little after ten.
Day One - California to Arizona
April 20, 2017
The first official day of their trip started at six am with a quick walk with the dogs around the motel. Back in the teepee, they fed the dogs while they got dressed for the day, as they'd walked the dogs in sweats and sweatshirts. Once they were ready, Chris loaded the CR-V while Ellie checked them out.
They had breakfast at a diner with outdoor seating and then got on the road headed for Victorville, California where the California Route 66 Museum was located. With Chris behind the wheel, they drove as far as they could on the old road until they had to turn onto the modern highway system. They had agreed early in the planning stages that they would only stay on paved roads and not go exploring the non-paved parts of Route 66.
To pass the time, they listened to music, but after awhile, Ellie found some online Cosmos quizzes and began to ask Chris questions. Most of the quizzes were pretty dumb and made them both giggle. However, they did determine that he was most like Aladdin for the 'Which Disney Prince Is Your Boyfriend Most Like?' quiz. And, according to the 'How Old Is Your Boyfriend, Really?', they found that he was more or less an adult. The last quiz they did was 'Would You Make Good Parents Together?' and they were both relieved when they got the 'Definitely' answer.
With the zig zagging that was required, it took nearly two hours for them to get to the museum. They had made arrangements with the museum to arrive two hours before opening so they could look around without the added pressure of people recognizing Chris. Two staff members volunteered to look after the dogs while the museum curator led them through the exhibits. When they left the museum, Chris slipped five $100 bills into their donation box while Ellie collected the dogs.
After a quick trip to a nearby park for the dogs to run around and eat, they stopped at a gas station to fill up the gas tank as well as filled up two 5-gallon gas cans for an emergency backup. They also topped off the ice in the cooler and then continued their drive east.
The stretch of Route 66 between Victorville and Needles was called the National Trails Highway and it wound through areas that were nothing but desert and others that were small communities. Along the way, they stopped to check out Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch, which was a forest made of metal pipes with antique bottles on them.
Once they were back on the road, Ellie got an alert on her phone and smiled when she saw that it was a reminder for Chris's appearance on 'The Talk'. Glancing at him, she saw that he was in the zone driving and singing along to the Guns 'n Roses song that was playing. Leaning down, she grabbed her headphones out of her purse and put them in her ears before she turned her attention to her phone and opened the app for their TV provider.
The first twenty minutes of the show were pretty boring until Chris and his friend and costar Octavia Spencer were introduced. Ellie started giggling as the Super Bowl was brought up and glanced at Chris when he poked her in the leg.
"What are you watching?" he asked.
"You on The Talk," Ellie replied with a laugh after removing one earbud from her ear. "You can be such a little shit sometimes."
"That was a fun interview," he said with a smile as he looked back at the road. "And don't pretend you wouldn't be the same way if the Ducks or the Seahawks had come back from a deficit like that to win."
"Oh, I so would be," Ellie agreed. "You're just lucky I love you and your obsession with Tom Brady and the Patriots." She smirked. "Of course, I have the satisfaction of knowing that the Seahawks did beat the Patriots last season. And since our teams aren't playing in 2017, I have bragging rights until they play again."
"Brag all you want about that little win," Chris said, rolling his eyes. "It pales in comparison to the fact that the Patriots fucking won it all. The trophy is in Boston and Tom Brady's throwing hand has a ring for each finger."
"That's going to make it hard to throw the football if you ask me," Ellie stated. "But I hope I'm not alone in thinking that the best ring ceremony that will happen this year took place on our wedding day."
"Best ring ceremony of my life," Chris confirmed, glancing at her with a big smile.
Ellie made an 'mmm hmm' sound and finished watching the interview. She was smiling as she put her headphones away, a few minutes later. "Please tell me you've paid your debt to the swear jar," she said to him.
He shot her a guilty smile.
"Chris!" Ellie laughed. "You do realize it's been like a year and a half since you guys actually filmed that movie, right? You better hope she isn't going to charge you interest."
"I'll make a donation to the place we got Dodger and then I'll let McKenna know," Chris promised as an Adele song came on. A sly smile spread across his face and he turned it up when he recognized it as one of Ellie's favorites.
"I know what you're doing," she muttered. Within seconds, however, she was singing along with Adele and getting lost in the song.
The highway took them through the Mojave Desert and ultimately to the tiny town of Needles where they stopped for lunch at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant. The dogs couldn't come into the restaurant, so they took turns looking around the gift shop and placed a to go order which they ate on a bench outside the restaurant.
Once they were back on the road, Ellie merged on I-40 and they made their way across the border into Arizona. Instead of heading north with Route 66, however, they detoured south to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, the home of the famous London Bridge.
The resort they were staying in was on the other side of the bridge, so they crossed it and then stopped to take a couple photos. Then they continued to the resort where they checked in and had their luggage taken up to their room. Then they set out on foot with the dogs to explore the resort. As most of the resort's guests were in the areas that the dogs weren't allowed, they weren't stopped very often, but a few people recognized Chris and asked for a picture. He accepted, but asked them to wait to post the photos until the next day.
Around dinner time, they returned to their hotel room and Chris and Ellie took turns showering while the other entertained the dogs and fed them. Then they put the dogs in their kennels before they went down to the resort's restaurant for dinner.
They were seated in a private corner of the restaurant and sat side by side in the round booth. Their dinner conversation ranged from their drive that day, to the drive ahead of them and then about living near Atlanta. After finishing their meal, they didn't linger in the restaurant for too long as they still had to take the dogs out one more time before they could go to bed.
With another full day of driving ahead of them, which included a detour up to the Grand Canyon, they turned in early after taking the dogs out for a quick potty walk. Returning to their room, they put the dogs in their kennels and then changed into their pajamas. The bed and the hotel room itself were a lot nicer than the wigwam they'd stayed in the night before, but it was missing the charm that they'd both loved about the previous night's stay.
During the planning stages of the trip, Chris and Ellie had found that many of the famous Route 66 hotels did not allow pets to stay in their facilities. They had considered having the dogs fly to Georgia, but had quickly decided that not having the dogs with them wouldn't have felt right. As a result, they'd found hotels along their planned route that allowed the dogs, but lacked the historical charm.
Day Two - Arizona
April 21, 2017
The morning of day two started before the sun had risen for Ellie. She hauled what she could down to the car and then brought breakfast up to the room with her before she woke Chris up, knowing he would be sluggish. Then she ran the dogs out to take a quick walk around a designated potty area before taking them back up to the room for breakfast.
The sun was up by the time they got checked out and into the car with Ellie behind the wheel. Knowing her co-pilot and their four legged passengers would sleep during the first leg of their drive, she turned on some music softly and started the drive.
In the passenger seat, Chris was alert for the first twenty minutes or so, but then he put his seat back and closed his eyes. Dodger, who was sitting directly behind Chris, climbed part way onto the reclined seat and rested his head alongside Chris's. When Daisy began to whimper due to being left out of the cuddle party, Chris reached his arm over and rested it on the seat in front of her and she laid her head against his palm.
Having to backtrack nearly to the California-Arizona border, Ellie got onto the Oatman-Topock Highway and quietly sang along with her playlist as she drove. There were a few towns to drive through, but most of the road was through a rocky, desert-like terrain.
For a majority of the early morning drive, Ellie's singing along with the playlist didn't disturb Chris or the dogs, but when Shania Twain's song "That Don't Impress Me Much" came on, she forgot all about her sleeping companions. Chris woke up to his wife singing along with her whole heart and pushed Dodger off the seat before he brought the seat up to a sitting position. For his benefit, Ellie changed up the words of the song so instead of saying "Okay, so you're Brad Pitt" she said "Okay, so you're Chris Evans." Then she flashed him a grin and sang along, "That don't impress me much. So you got the looks but have you got the touch."
Chris laughed and shook his head as she performed the rest of the song. As the music faded out, he said, "I most certainly have the touch, but if you've forgotten, I'd be happy to give you a demonstration."
"I know exactly how talented your touch is," Ellie replied and groaned as the Bloodhound Gang's "The Bad Touch" came on. "Is this from your playlist? It isn't on mine."
Chris was too busy laughing to answer her.
Arriving in the small town of Oatman, Ellie pulled over as she and Chris had prearranged. Up to this point, the road had been pretty straight and an easy drive, but they were about to encounter some very windy roads. They doubled checked the dogs' harnesses and made sure it was impossible for the dogs to slip off the car seats by filling in the gaps between the seat and the floor.
With Chris behind the wheel, they left Oatman and began the twisted drive down the mountain. To keep from swaying too much, Ellie held onto the handle with her right hand and held onto the center console with her left.
By the time they reached the bottom of the mountain, Ellie glanced in the backseat and shook her head. Daisy was passed out on the backseat while Dodger was sitting straight up with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. It appeared he, like his dad, enjoyed windy roads like the one they'd just traveled.
"Did you like that, buddy?" Chris asked, glancing in the rearview mirror.
Dodger gave a happy bark and they could hear his tail beating against the seatback. It wasn't long, however, before the "boring" stretch of straight road lulled the three-year-old dog to sleep like his sister.
They arrived at the Powerhouse Route 66 Museum about an hour before opening and met with the director of the facility who showed them around and answered their questions. They met some of the other staff members as they were leaving and Chris posed for a picture with several of them.
After leaving the museum, they had breakfast at a nearby diner before taking the dogs for a quick walk to stretch out their legs and let them go potty. Then they filled up the gas tank and continued their journey east.
They were an hour into their drive to the Grand Canyon when Ellie's cellphone rang. Chris lowered the volume of the music while she answered the call after seeing that it was her sister Riley.
"Hey, Riles," she greeted cheerfully.
"Hey! Is Chris with you?" Riley asked.
"Yup, I'll put you on speakerphone," Ellie replied. "It's Riley," she said to Chris as she put the phone on speaker.
"Hey Riley," Chris greeted his sister-in-law.
"So I know you guys are on the road and everything, but a girl from down the hall just poked her head in the room to ask me if you were really pregnant," Riley told them. "I told her you weren't pregnant, I mean you guys haven't said anything to the family about being pregnant."
"We aren't pregnant," Ellie confirmed. "Why did she think we were?"
"Some blog she reads said so," Riley replied. "I told her half of the shit on there is just made up, but whatever, if she chooses to fill her head with that useless information that's her choice."
"Thanks for letting us know," Ellie told her sister. She glanced at Chris and saw that his jaw was tense. "I'll talk to you later, ok?"
"Ok, bye guys! Drive safely," Riley said before hanging up.
"I fucking hate gossip sites," Chris muttered, once the call was disconnected. "I fucking hate them and their fucking bullshit."
Ellie stayed quiet while he continued to rant. They'd been together (as friends and lovers) for long enough that she knew sometimes he just needed to get everything out before he could deal with a situation head on. She suspected that his openness during the Gifted promo tour about wanting to be a dad was partly behind the rumors, especially since they'd gotten married in February.
"I'm going to make a post on my Twitter," Chris announced. "It will be one that just says that I will announce on my Twitter when we are expecting and if there isn't a post about it than it's complete bullshit. And then I'll make another that says we are expecting a baby."
"I like that idea," Ellie replied, reaching over and putting her hand on his. "I'm also not opposed to never announcing we're having a baby, it's our business. Not anyone else's."
Chris visually relaxed and squeezed her hand. "How did I get so lucky?" he asked.
"Well, it all started when your mom came into this used book store I used to work at," Ellie replied with a laugh.
Chris rolled his eyes and then brought her hand up to his mouth and kissed her palm. His mom would never let him forget the part where she'd handpicked his wife, but he would always be thankful for her doing so.
They soon stopped for a quick pit stop for the dogs before getting back on the road for the remaining two hours to the Grand Canyon. They drove as much of Route 66 as they could before turning off and taking the highway up to the national park.
When they reached the park, the dogs were more than ready to stretch their legs again and they attracted more attention than Chris did. Both dogs loved the attention of kids, especially Dodger, who loved to ham it up for their enjoyment. Eventually, they had to pull Dodger away from his adoring fans so they could see the national park.
Knowing they didn't have a lot of time in the park, they stuck to viewing areas and visited a few of them to get different looks at the canyon below. In the gift shop, they bought trinkets for their nieces and nephews and collected a couple postcards to send to the kids as well.
They finished their visit with a late lunch that overlooked one of the trails. Then they got back into the car for the drive to Flagstaff, where they were staying for the night. Unlike the two nights previous, their first stop wasn’t the place they were staying, but a place where they could give their two very dusty dogs a good scrubbing.
It was after eight in the evening when they finally arrived at the cabin they had rented for the night. It was south of Flagstaff, but the dogs were allowed to roam freely through the cabin and it allowed Chris and Ellie to stretch out and relax without the worry about the dogs' barks disturbing other guests.
After a dinner made from groceries they'd purchased at the store near the dog wash place, Chris and Ellie stretched out on the couch to watch a movie. Due to the day's driving and activities, however, neither of them made it through the whole thing.
When Chris woke up a little after midnight, he woke Ellie up and then led her into room they'd put their luggage in earlier. Sleepily, they stripped off all their clothes and then got into bed and quickly fell back asleep.
Day Three - Arizona to New Mexico
April 22, 2017
The dogs woke Ellie up around 5:30, on the morning of day three, and she let them out the backdoor into the fenced yard so they could do their business and then let them back into the cabin. She poured food into their bowls and then made her way back to bed with the intent of catching a couple more hours of sleep since they had planned for this to be a late start day.
After climbing back into bed, Ellie quickly fell back asleep only for Chris to wake her up less than an hour later with his hands wandering over her body. Rolling onto her back, she sleepily gazed into the wide-awake face of her husband.
"Morning," he whispered, his hand resting on her stomach underneath the shirt she'd thrown on to let the dogs out.
"Morning," she replied and then yawned.
"Still tired?" he asked and she nodded. "Let me help you wake up."
Ellie relaxed as his hands began to roam her body again, but was quickly becoming aroused from his caresses. She moaned as he kissed her neck while his fingers teased the sensitive skin of her inner thighs. Her legs parted of their own accord as his digits marched to the apex of her thighs.
Chris covered her mouth with his as his fingers reached their destination between her legs. He swallowed the moan that escaped her lips with the first touches and then slipped his tongue into her mouth. All too soon, they broke apart as she panted in response to his fingers working her pussy.
Slipping down her body, Chris positioned himself between her legs and used his mouth to bring her to her climax. Sitting back, he watched smugly as his wife's chest rose and fell rapidly as she recovered from her orgasm. When he noticed her breathing returning to normal, he slipped his cock into her and began the process again.
The room was soon filled with the sounds of their bodies meeting and their cries of passion. Chris came first, shooting his seed deep inside of her, and continuing to move their bodies together until she came a minute or so later.
Their alarm clock went off just as he collapsed at her side. Ellie hit the snooze button and they laid there for a few more minutes until the alarm went off again. Taking advantage of the multiple bathrooms, they each showered quickly and got ready for the day ahead of them.
After eating a quick breakfast and cleaning up after the dogs, they loaded up the car and took the cabin's key up to the main building. They checked out and then hit the road with Meteor Crater just west of Winslow, Arizona their first stop for the day.
Unlike the two days previous where they'd listened to a mix of all their music, Ellie chose a playlist compiled of their favorite music from the 1960s and the 1970s for the day's driving soundtrack.
It took them a little over an hour to reach the Meteor Crater Visitor Center. They paid their admission and took a guided tour around the rim of the crater. Since the dogs weren't allowed in the visitor center, Ellie sat with them outside while her space nerd husband explored the different exhibits.
Knowing how much Chris loved everything space, it was no surprise to Ellie when he came out of the gift shop with three bags. He'd purchased stuff for their nieces and nephews, but one of the bags was goodies just for him. Some of the stuff he bought for "them" was Route 66 inspired, but most of what he bought was spacey stuff to decorate his office area.
Ellie couldn't help but tease him while they ate their lunch and he listed all the reasons why he needed another 'build your own solar system mobile' kit. He also told her he'd purchased a set of glow-in-the-dark stars for the ceiling of their bedroom in LA because she'd been so enamored with the ones in his old bedroom in Boston. To which she rolled her eyes and asked if he was going to study a star map to properly place them on their ceiling. That comment led to a tickle war which ended with Dodger getting involved and attempting to lick Chris to death in order to protect his mom.
Once they were back in the car, Ellie changed their playlist again to one with songs by the band The Eagles. She and Chris sang along as they drove the thirty miles or so from the crater to Winslow, Arizona; specifically, to the Standing on the Corner Park.
They parked the car around the corner from the park and then walked the dogs over to the statue of a man standing in front of the mural that was in honor of the song "Take It Easy" by the Eagles. They took turns posing with the statue and then attempted to take a selfie together, but thankfully another visitor offered to take the photo for them.
Crossing the street to the gift shop, Chris and Ellie were prepared to take turns standing outside with the dogs, but one of the workers motioned them inside with a finger pressed to her lips. She winked at them as they entered with the dogs and then she went back to the shelf she was stocking. Since the store was otherwise empty, so they took their time looking around and purchased a handful of stuff before thanking the employee and leaving.
Getting back into the car, after a potty break for the dogs and humans, they continued east towards Albuquerque with the day's original playlist back on. The over four-hour drive found them getting on and off of I-40 as Route 66 jogged off for awhile and then merged back in. They made a couple stops along the way, but mostly just to let the dogs go potty and stretch their legs.
As their day's drive came to a close, Ellie asked Chris a question that had been plaguing her mind all day. "Are you upset that we aren't pregnant yet?"
Chris glanced away from the road with his brow furrowed. "No," he told her. "Absolutely not." He reached over and squeezed her hand. "I believe it will happen when it's meant to. And until then, I'm happy with it just being the two of us." Dodger chose that moment to bark. "Us two and the dogs."
"What if it never happens?" Ellie asked him. "What if we can't get pregnant."
"There are other ways to become parents," Chris replied. Yes, he wanted to be a dad and he knew that Ellie wanted to be a mom, they'd had many conversations about the topic. However, if push came to shove and they could never have kids or adopt, it wouldn't change how he felt about her. After all, he'd vowed to love her for the rest of his life and he planned to stick with those vows. "And if it comes to it, we can just be the best aunt and uncle to our nieces and nephews that we can be."
"How did I get so lucky?" Ellie said, leaning over the console to rest her head on his shoulder.
"Well, you see, it all started when my mom secretly hired a housekeeper for me behind my back," Chris said, stealing her answer from the day before.
When they reached Albuquerque and their hotel, they checked in and had their luggage sent up to their room, but went out to explore the downtown area since they'd spent most of the day in the car. They got to go boxes from a diner and then made their way back to the hotel to wind down for the rest of the night.

Together (VOS - Flynn x MC)

Together (VOS – Flynn x MC)
Summary: After messing up in court, MC Annie reflects on her relationship with Flynn. They get closer to each other as they think about Kate, and how much they want to help clear her name. Annie can’t help but wonder about her & Flynn, their status as a couple and if they will last. He surprises her with a gift and she continues to fall deeper and deeper in love with him as she learns not to worry too much about the future.
Shout-out to my Flynn-loving Queen @parkerattano -- love ya babe!
Word Count: 1942
--
The mood in Shipwreck Sally’s matched the way Annie was feeling.  She sank into the barstool with a heavy sigh and blank stare.  Less than a minute later, the bartender gently set a beer in front of her, explaining that the “gentleman in the corner” sent his regards. Looking over her shoulder, she recognized Nikolai, and gave him a somber nod of thanks.
The cold liquid felt good as she guzzled it down faster than she had originally intended.  She wanted a distraction. She needed something to take her mind off the horrible scene in the courtroom only a little while ago. This was her chance; a chance to show Kate that she really was in her corner, supporting her, there for her no matter what…and she blew it.  As soon as the prosecutor mentioned Flynn’s name, she stumbled, and soon Grant’s strategy to defend Kate unraveled.
“Give me my regular.” A rough, gravelly voice called to the bartender and pulled Annie from her reflections.
Flynn sidled up next to her. His suit jacket was in one hand and his hair looked windblown. He leaned his body against the bar as he loosened the tie around his neck and unfastened the top few buttons. Annie knew this was no time to be lusting over him. His sister and her best friend had just been denied bail. But she couldn’t help it.  His rough and rugged exterior mixed with his surprisingly warm and sentimental character, made him all the more attractive to her.
She had never been with someone like him before; someone so cool, so smooth, so charming and so…unpredictable.  He made her do and say things she never would have done or said before coming to Birchport. She was daring, bold and took more risks now that she had him in her life.  Their first kiss and then their first time together on the deck of his boat, had been the most emotional, romantic and somewhat confusing, moments of her entire life. She didn’t regret it though.  She didn’t know what they were or what the future would hold for them and their relationship (if she could call it that) but she was going to live in the moment and enjoy every minute of it while it lasted.
Instinctively, Annie reached out and smoothed down a piece of Flynn’s coarse and wiry hair. She smiled at him as he gently rested his cheek against the palm of her hand. He closed his eyes and inhaled her scent; the deep breath he released looked as though he had been holding it for quite some time.
“You didn’t wear your helmet, did you?” She chided him, biting her lip as she let her hand fall back to her side.
“What’s it to ya?” He countered.
“I don’t hear any complaints about not wearing it when you’re riding with me.”
“That’s because the helmet in question is on my head.” She gently teased.
Flynn’s drink arrived at the bar as he smirked and took a long sip.  He let out a soft groan as the burning sensation filled his chest. Annie suspected it felt good. She noticed his fist tighten and his jaw clench as he looked at her with a new intensity in his eyes.
“So…” she began, “how was she?”
“About as good as you’d expect.  I gotta tell you, Annie, I never expected to be walking into that place ever again, let alone to visit my own sister.”
The two of them were silent for a few beats before Flynn added, “We have to do something. This isn’t right.  She doesn’t deserve to be there.”
“I agree – but what do we do? After my ridiculous scene today in court, I really don’t know how I can be much of any help moving forward.”
Annie asked for another beer and looked away from Flynn, over her shoulder in the opposite direction. She was embarrassed for more than one reason – everyone knowing about her and Flynn, and now they were now forced to address the fact that their relationship was out in the open. Annie didn’t think it was meant to necessarily be a secret, but knowing now that everyone in town knew about it, made it seem a little more real and a little more “dirty.”
“Annie.” Flynn spoke harshly, frustrated.
“Annie look at me.” He commanded as he grabbed her by the elbow and turned her around to face him.
“You did NOT mess up today.” His blue eyes were darkening with intensity.
She swore in that moment that if no one else had been around she would have taken him right then and there on top of the bar.  His messed up hair, the scruffy stubble on his face, the loose tie around his neck and the fierce love and devotion for his family (and now her too), reflected in his eyes…she wanted him and she knew it.  There was no doubt about that.
“Let’s get out of here.” Flynn reached for his wallet and put some money on the bar, taking Annie by the hand, leading her out.
--
The couple arrived back at Flynn’s houseboat a few minutes later.  He again reached for Annie’s hand, intertwining his fingers with hers. She noticed he seemed to be holding onto her more tightly than before. She didn’t know exactly why, but also wasn’t going to complain.
“I hope it’s okay that I brought you here…again…” He whispered as they slipped inside the front door.
“It’s more than okay.” Annie reassured him.  “I didn’t want to be alone tonight.”
Flynn walked throughout the small, but cozy space, and turned on some lights.
“Make yourself at home. I need to take a shower.” He called from the hallway as he walked to his bedroom.
Annie swallowed hard, trying to relax as she laid down on the couch.  The power suit she had chosen to wear to court had not helped in the ways she expected.  And it was uncomfortable now.  She just wanted to snuggle up in some worn out leggings or a big, over-sized sweatshirt…but her mind kept wandering to Flynn.
He made her want to take risks; to step out of her comfort zone and experience life in a way she never had before.  Sitting up slowly, Annie slipped out of her heels and walked to the bathroom, leaving a trail of clothes behind her. She timed it just right so that by the time she approached the shower door, she was wearing nothing at all.
In the shower, Flynn was washing his hair and had his eyes closed as he turned around.  When he opened them, he acted like he always did – cool, calm and collected – almost as if he expected Annie to be standing there, naked, in front of him.  He opened the shower door and pulled Annie in with him all in one smooth movement.
--
He had given her an old t-shirt and a pair of boxers that were way too big on her, but she loved wearing them.  Feeling something that belonged to him so close to her body, while inhaling his masculine, smoky, fuel-infused scent, almost pushed her over the edge while she laid in his bed with him.
Flynn was curled up beside her, wide-awake, staring at the back of her head.  One of his arms was underneath her and the other was across her waist, pulling her close as she spooned into him.
“Are you awake?’ She whispered, not wanting to disturb him if he was asleep.
“I am.” He responded, smiling at her question.
She rolled over, facing him now, their noses barely touching. He absentmindedly brushed a few strands of hair away from her face, running the soft pad of his thumb over her cheek, looking into her eyes.
“Annie…” he whispered, kissing her softly. “I have something for you.”
Without saying another word, he went to his closet, feeling along the top shelf, standing on his tiptoes. As he arm flailed back and forth, a look of concentration formed on his face and Annie stifled a laugh. She sat up in bed, watching him struggle before offering some advice.
“Flynn, you know you can turn a light on if you need to…”
“I got it.” He smirked. A long red jewelry box was now in his grasp.
“This…” He held up the box and sat down on the bed, “was Kate’s.”
Flynn opened the box to reveal a very delicate, dainty, gold necklace.  It had one solitaire diamond pressed flatly into a setting matted along with the rest of the gold chain.  The sparkle was faint, but it was classic and beautiful and understated – just like Kate.
“I think you should have it.” He explained, looking up into Annie’s eyes from beneath his thick, dark lashes.  “She’d want you to.”
“It’s gorgeous.” She breathed.
“…but I could never…” Annie covered her mouth, feeling conflicted.  “If it’s Kate’s, why doesn’t she have it now? And she needs it back – she has to have something she can hold onto and remem-“
Flynn cut her off.
“She can’t wear jewelry in jail.” He explained.  “It belonged to my mom and she left it here for me to give to her…as a wedding gift…” Flynn sighed, running a hand through his hair.
“I just didn’t feel right giving it to her and now under the circumstances…” he paused.
“I know and I understand why you wouldn’t want to take it, but I really think she’d want you to have it. At least for now.  You can hold onto it and give it to her once she gets out.”
Annie sighed as Flynn came around behind her, on the bed and positioned her in front of a mirror, in the dark.  He put the necklace on around her neck and as the light from the docks outside filtered in through the windows and the boat gently rocked, Annie’s eyes stung, ever so slightly.
The necklace hit just along Annie’s collarbone and could be seen perfectly positioned against the black V-neck t-shirt she wore with the name “O’Malley” scrawled across the back.
“Flynn…” She whispered, making eye contact with him in the mirror.  “Are you sure? I mean, I just…”
“You’re important to her, Annie.  Right now, you’re basically her only friend in the world.  I know she’d want you to have this, even if it’s only for a little while.”
She couldn’t tell if he was just talking about the necklace or maybe even more than that. Was he referring to their relationship? Would Kate be okay with Annie dating her brother? Is this something that might only last for a little while?
Annie turned around and held Flynn’s face in her hands as she kissed him with as much passion and emotion as she could find within herself. She could not have any idea what the future would hold for any of them – not Kate, not Flynn and not even herself – but she was determined to live in the present and take control of her life right now.
“You’re important to me too, Annie.” Flynn searched her eyes, hoping she understood him.  “I want you to have this as a way to remember how much you mean to both of us.”
“Thank you.” She whispered, leaning in to kiss him again.  “I love this and I’ll cherish it always.”
The two of them entangled themselves in each other as they fell back onto the bed and enjoyed each other’s company for the rest of the evening not thinking about anything other than each other and how good it felt to just be together.

Familiar - - A Change
This is part 2 of my Familiar story featuring Kang Daniel of Wanna One :> Hope you Enjoy!
Part one
Tumblr media
 Two weeks had passed since that fateful day in the woods; the day you and your furry companion surrounded yourselves with nature and the purity of light combining your souls together as one for eternity as Familiar and Master. And you hadn’t regretted it since.
The smell of eggs frying woke you up from your slumber, the light from the sun glazing the walls aside your bedroom. Was it morning already?
You struggled to get up, the coolness of fall sitting well outside causing your body to want to hibernate beneath your blankets filled your aching bones. You let out a groan and stumble out the bedroom door looking like a pure zombie.
“Morning, beautiful. I thought I heard you.” The Neko boy’s voice purred from over the kitchen island, an array of foods awaiting you.
“Morning, Kang. You’ve been busy,” You half yawn out reaching for the coffee he handed you.
“Thought we could use a hearty breakfast for today.”
“Hm?”
“You haven’t forgotten our meeting with Themis and the Sister’s Fate, have you?”
You half spat out the hot liquid as he spoke, the reminder singing your cerebellum now.
“W-was that today?”
“Yes, love. It was set two weeks ago from today.” His body trailed around the kitchen placing pans in the sink and washing them promptly.
“I’m not so sure I’m ready for this…” You finally admit, rubbing your eyes with open hands.
“Fate can be intimidating, for sure, but I think it’s too late to try and back out now.” He turned the water off as he finished the last pan in the sink, his hand grabbing a towel and drying himself off.
“I’m not backing out….I just want to reschedule…in 100 years,” you laid your head on the counter, hair covering your face.
Kang’s fingers wiped the hair from your eyes, his ears twitching as he did so. “It’ll be fine, Y/N. Here, eat.”
You opened your mouth as your familiar shoved a spoon full of eggs into your mouth.
A slew of words mumbled from your mouth as you chewed.
“Don’t talk with food in your mouth, Jagiya.” A smirk spread across his face as he continued to feed you.
“Nope! Nuh uh! UGGHHH!” Words of detest left your mouth as you threw clothes out of your closet, your room becoming covered in the array of black and mauve.
Kang sat upon the large dresser adorned with a mirror, his tail swiping the doily beneath him. “Mrowr!”
 “WHAT DO YOU KNOW? YOU’RE NAKED 97% OF THE TIME!” You groaned flopping onto the floor.
“I’m too nervous and I can’t find anything decent to wear…” You lift your wand up in your hand and swirl the mess above you trying to decide what would be fitting for this meeting.
“Meow!”
“You think so?” You sit up and allow the clothes to fall to the floor. Your eyes catch the last hanger in the closet. It adorned a velvet red dress, its’ sleeves see-through and cuffed at the wrists. You pull it off the hanger and rub the fabric between your fingers. “I guess it’s better than going naked…” You smile at Kang teasingly, he rolls his eyes in response.
“et induere cultioribus vestimentis!” You recite the words to the spell and allow the dress to fall upon your body. The fabric placing delicately on your curves embracing the entirety of your body.
Fingers trail along your sides, stopping to wrap arms around your waist, Kang’s chin resting on your shoulder. “Perfect.”
“Oh, that reminds me!” You reach deep into the dresser drawer and pull out a black box, you open it and reveal to your familiar a black leather collar adorned with a large silver bell. “What a better way to show them you’re mine?” You cock your head to the side and smirk, Kang taking your face into his hands slowly leaning in—
 “The Fate Sisters and Lady Themis will see you now!” The two-headed secretary called out, taking a break from typing rapidly on the keyboard in the waiting area.
“I guess it’s time, Kang,” You swallow hard and glance down at the creature rubbing against your legs, the feeling giving you comfort.
The walk down the hall towards the ceremonial meeting grounds feels like it takes an eternity. Kang’s bell not even being heard from the pounding in your ears; your heart surely about to erupt from your own chest. You stall at the slightly opened door, the large black structure staring back at you. You continue to focus on your breath, the shuddered sounds being left to Kang who stared at you from the floor.
“Come in, Darling,”
“We won’t bite,”
“At first anyway,” The three sisters cackled lightly from the inside of the room, the cracked door opening more as you gently pushed your way inside.
“Ah! There she is,” Themis strolled towards you, her tall 6ft figure towering over your smaller frame, long hair bestowed her, the locks swirling mercilessly down her back and front; a large corset cradled her bosoms and allowed a sheer long skirt to be adorned by her waist. “Much prettier than I anticipated,” Her fingers caressed your cheek causing them to flush, a feeling you could not describe.
“Well, come along then, let’s get this over with!” The sisters exclaimed in grievance.
Themis took no time in grabbing your hand, her cold long fingers wrapping around yours and leading you to the far edge of the room, a green discolored glow bestowing a surrounding cauldron heated by blue flames and filled with the overwhelming appearance of smoke. You heart was deathless.
The sisters, covered in long robes, black spikes protruding from their figures, slunk their way to the cauldron, their frizzled out hair prickling your skin as they went. “If the familiar could now take their human form so we may begin.”
You swallowed hard and looked down at Kang, who did nothing but nuzzle your ankle before transforming back to his human form, the collar still tightly placed upon his neck, his hands cupping his private areas to seal them from the ancient women in the room.
The three sister’s sniggered at the tall man, his naked form blessing their ancient eyes. “Maybe I need a familiar, eh, sisters?”
“Can we please just continue?!” Themis rolled her eyes and snarled, the three sisters always causing more trouble than necessary during these ceremonies.
Cough. Please place your hands above the cauldron and recite the combining spell to seal this eternity of Master and Familiar…
You and Kang lift up your hands and hover them over the staley hot cauldron as the sisters withdrew a large old knife, the blade still sharp after years of use.
“junge aeternum.” You both recite as the blade slices its way across your skin, the blood swelling before dropping dramatically into the cauldron and then…silence.
“Well, that was…anticlimactic,” Scorned Themis.
“W-what happened?” You looked at your hand confused, “Shouldn’t something have happened?”
“No good.”
“Not good at all.”
“What a pity…” The sisters droned on with no clear explanation.
Your eyes started to swell up with tears, the amount of confusion and frustration building up quickly in your heart.
“Why didn’t it seal our bond?” Kang finally speaks.
Themis strums her fingers on the large black pot, “this never happens…”
The ancient ones began to walk away from the ceremonial spot, tears piling the floor at your feet. Kang looked at you, a hand on your shoulder before his demeanor completely turned, his shyness disappearing as he walked after Themis quickly, grabbing her wrist with his entire hand.
“HEY! WE’RE NOT DONE HERE!”
Themis took no time turning into fire, her anger of a man touching her sending her into a pit of rage.
“NO ONE TOUCHES, THEMIS!”
“WELL WE DESERVE AN EXPLANATION…” Kang shudders as he points in your direction, “please, she….she deserves an explanation.”
A sigh leaves Themis’ lips as she returns to her calmer state. “The ceremony cannot be sealed and you two cannot be bonded tonight.”
“But…why?” The familiar’s eyes showing his broken heart.
“I—I don’t know…” Themis sighs
“But, we…”
“Do!” The sisters squeal out.
Kang and you both look at the sisters through broken frames, wondering what you could have done wrong.
“You see, our children, you two aren’t bonded.”
“We know that, that’s why we came here to seal it…” Kang fed-up with these women.
The tallest sister lingered towards the naked Kang, “You two…” her fingers trailed down his abs stopping right at the V-line his pelvis created, “are not…bonded.”
And then it clicked. You and Kang weren’t sealing because you two had not combined in the most sacred sealing bond yet…sex.
“Virgins?” Themis cooed in the most tormented way, “how, when this is standing before you, girl?” Her hands grabbing and turning Kang’s naked form towards you.
Your face burned red, you attempted to look anywhere but at your familiar’s naked form, which, for the first time…made you feel embarrassed.
“Until you both”
“Seal your love”
“The bonded seal will not be formed.” The Sister’s Fate nonchalantly spoke before walking out of the room, Themis soon strolling out behind them. Her form stopping in the door way,
“You have 3 days to seal this, or else you two will be separated and given new Master and Familiar.”
You stood in the empty room staring at your hands, a blurry form just before them of your familiar back in his natural state. Three Days.

   You were sitting on your couch, scrolling through Instagram while Petunia napped next to you. Luke was in your bedroom, every so often you would faintly hear him strumming his guitar or singing to himself. It brought a smile to your face whenever you would hear it. It had been raining for weeks, keeping the three of you cooped up in your apartment. Everyone was beginning to get restless, a bit of cabin fever starting to set in.
   Petunia shifted slightly on the couch cushions next to you, you looked up at her from your phone with a smile. Suddenly Luke appeared on your other side, slumping down onto the couch with a dramatic sigh. You put a hand at the back of his head and started to run your fingers through his curls, while turning your smile into an exaggerated frown. “What's the matter, sad boy?”
   He leaned over to you, resting his head on your shoulder. “Bored. So bored.”
   You kissed the top of his head, a small smile playing on your lips. “I’m sorry, sweetheart. What do you want to do?”
   He groaned as he moved to wrap his arms around your waist, nuzzling his face into your shoulder. “Anything.” He answered quietly, his voice muffled slightly by the fabric of your sweater. “Anything would be better than staying in the apartment forever until we die.”
   “Well we can't have you dying, can we?” You asked, your voice soft. He hugged you tighter, a barely audible “nuh uh” falling from his lips, “Then let's go do something. Look, the rain looks like it might let up a little bit.” Luke snapped his head up to look out the window. The sky was still pretty gloomy, but it was brighter and the rain was falling lighter than it had in days.
   He stood up quickly, pulling you up with him. “Go. Now. Dressed.” He playfully pushed you toward the bedroom down the hall. You laughed out loud when you were finally inside your room, walking over to your closet to find a change of clothes. You looked over your shoulder to see Luke shedding his grey sweatpants, kicking the into the corner of the room and replacing them with a pair of black dress pants. You couldn't help but to giggle at him as you watched.
   A few minutes later both of you had changed from pajamas into clothes that would be appropriate for the date night you'd been talking about having. Luke, in his black pants, an old Pink Floyd t-shirt, and the leather jacket you'd gotten him for Christmas. While you opted for  simple, black jeans and a teal blue v-neck top that hugged your curves perfectly. You were facing the mirror that hung on your closet door fixing your hair when you felt Luke's arms around you and his lips just below your ear. “Have I told you lately how absolutely gorgeous you are?” he whispered. You turned your face to the side and kissed him, you could feel him smiling into the kiss and it made your heart flutter. You broke the kiss and slipped into a pair of black flats before you and Luke walked out the door together.
   As you got into Luke's car he took your hand in his, planting a kiss to the back of your hand before resting them on the center console. You smiled over at him, taking a moment to appreciate how happy he made you. Giving his hand a light squeeze, you asked him where you were going.
   “I was thinking I want to go somewhere we haven't been. Somewhere brand new.” His answer shocked you because Luke was a creature of habit. You didn't mind his routine, but you had to admit that you loved when he decided to mix things up. There was something oddly exciting about it.
   After driving around for about half an hour the two of you found yourselves outside of a small diner that neither of you had ever heard of. “This is as good a place as any, yeah?” Luke asked you as he took his key from the ignition. You just smiled wide at him in response.
   Once you were inside you realized that you were both defintely overdressed. Every other customer seemed to be wearing jeans and dirty  work boots, and you swear a few of them were definitely giving you the side eye as Luke put his hand behind your back and led you to a booth near the back. He leaned down and whispered to you, “You look incredible. They all wish they had someone so beautiful on their arm.” You looked up at him, and he winked at you with a smile.
   Once you were seated a middle aged woman with greying brown hair approached your table, two menus in hand. Her name tag said “Karen,” and you couldn't help but to smile when you noticed the faded tattoo on her wrist of the name Jesse.
   Karen set your menus down on your table with a smile. “What can I get you kids to drink?” You both answered that you just wanted water. She nodded and smiled at you again. “Alright, then. I'll grab those and be back in few for your orders.”
   When she walked away Luke picked up a menu, handing the other one to you. It was a pretty standard diner menu from what you could tell. Burgers and fries, meatloaf, milkshakes. The usual suspects. Karen came back after a few minutes with your drinks and asked if you were ready to order. You both ordered your standard for when you're at a restaurant you don't know, bacon cheeseburgers with fries and extra pickles. She took your menus from you and headed back behind the counter.
   Luke reached across the table and took your hand in his once again, rubbing his thumb gently over the back of it. You smiled at familiarity of it, loving the way your hands fit together perfectly.
   The two of you spent the next few minutes talking about your work, and the new album Luke was working on. He was in the middle of telling you about one song he was working on with Michael when your waitress appeared with your food.
   “You kids enjoy, and let me know if you need anything else.” You both thanked her as she set your plates in front of you. She gave you a quick smile before walking away, greeting another customer as they took a seat in another booth.
   Luke took a bite of his burger and actually moaned while he chewed. “Seriously, (Y/N),” he started, his mouth still half full. “This is the best burger I've ever had.” You smiled at him and picked up your own sandwich. You took a bite, and damn he was right. The meat juicy and seasoned perfectly, and whoever made it knew that “extra pickles” meant you wanted more than one extra pickles chip. You furrowed your brows and shot Luke a big thumbs up, your mouth too full to verbally agree with him.
   The rest of your meal was much the same. You and Luke continued to talk about work, and your friends, and of course how much Petunia would love a burger from here. As you were finishing up Luke pointed out a sign that hung over the counter, advertising the pie of the day.
   “Babe, I know you love strawberry pie.” He said, raising his eyebrows at you. You were way too full for pie, but having been in a relationship with Luke for this long you knew that he still had plenty of room.
   “Order yourself a slice, Luke. There is no way I could eat one, though.”
   “Or,” he started, raising his eyebrows again while he drew out the single syllable as long as he could. “I order two slices. We share one here, and take the other one home for later?”
   You smiled at him, and he smiled back even wider than before, poking the tip of his tongue between his teeth. “Okay, okay.” You relented.
   “You're the best, babe.” He said, standing up halfway in the booth to lean over the table and place a kiss on your forehead.
   When Karen came to clear the table, Luke ordered the two slices of strawberry pie, asking her if she could put one in a box. When she came back a moment later she was carrying one plate and two forks. You had to smile at the sight. Something about a nice, older lady in a powder blue diner uniform serving you a desert to share with the love of your life almost reminded you of a movie or something. Luke picked up his fork and took the first bite. His reaction to the pie was somehow even better than his reaction to his burger.
   “We're gonna have to ask her to add another piece to that box.” He said with a chuckle. You picked up your own fork, taking a small bite since you were still full from dinner.
   “Oh, yeah. I am so not sharing with you later.” You said, going in for another piece. Luke laughed you and raised his hand to get her attention.
   “Excuse me, ma'am?” He called to her.
   She came over, your boxed piece of pie in one hand and your check in the other. “How was everything?”
   “Amazing. The best burgers and pie I've ever had.” Luke answered her. “Is there any way at all we would be able to add one more piece of pie to that box?”
   She laughed at him quietly, resting one hand on his shoulder. “Of course, hun. No problem.” She walked away with the box, leaving your check on the table. When she came back, she handed the box to you and said “The second slice is on the house tonight. You two are just about the sweetest people I've waited on all day.” You thanked her again before she left once more to wait on other customers.
   “That’s it.” Luke said, putting some cash on the table before standing up. “This is officially my favorite place in the world. We're coming here forever.” You took his hand in yours as you walked out the front door of the diner towards his car. And suddenly, you were really glad the rain has decided to stop for a few hours tonight.

Part 13
----------------------
One Year Ago...
“You never come out, Y/N. It’s time. You work hard, you go to your classes like a good girl. You deserve a to have a good time.” Cora told me as I sat on my bed with my chem books laid out around me.
“I just don’t think I would have fun. You’re meeting up with Eric and I’m gonna be third wheeling.” I explained as I crossed my arms. Cora and Eric had been dating since middle school and they were madly in love. It was disgusting, especially when I became the third wheel and had to listen to them go on and on about how much they loved one another. Disgusting.
Cora had been trying to convince me to go to a party for the last 3 weekends and each one, I denied. I wasn’t a partier, and I wasn’t very social. The last party I went to was a birthday party in 11th grade and I didn’t have any fun. At all. Being 20 years old, I had a job and school to worry about at the moment and if I wasted my night at a party, that’s time I could have been using to study.
“Just an hour.” She begged and sat on one of my books, lacing her fingers and pouting her lip slightly. Cora tilted her head to the side to give me the ultimate puppy eyes that I knew I couldn’t say no to. She did this all the time, and she knew exactly what she was doing.
I flung the blanket off of my body and sighed. “Fine. But you’re the DD tonight.” I smirked and pulled my loose band shirt off to replace it with a simple black v neck, paired with a pair of ripped jeans and my favorite maroon Vans. I didn’t like to drink just for the sake of drinking, I don’t know why anyone would casually have a glass of wine or a beer with dinner. Alcohol was gross, but tonight I planned on drinking until I either passed out or couldn’t stand. It was my only way of not being completely annoyed at the fact that literally everyone else around me was drunk and I was soberly picking up after them.
“I’m ready whenever you are,” I stated as I ran my fingers through my hair to get it in its proper place.
“That’s it?”
“Yea, your point?”
“Y/N, darling. What if you meet the love of your life tonight? You don’t want to look like some kid who just got back from the black parade.” Cora told me as she took my hair into her hands and started to maneuver it a little.
“These are my clothes, I don’t know what to tell ya.”
“Put some heels on, do your makeup. Wear a dress. Like I said, you could meet someone.”
“First of all, I don’t own a dress. Second of all, do you know me? And third of all...” I paused to get a good look at my best friend. “The love of my life is not at this party. I wouldn’t let myself end up with some washed up frat boy who hasn’t read a book since middle school.” I told her matter-of-factly as I slid some deodorant over my underarms and sprayed myself with some of the little body spray I had left.
Cora rolled her eyes and looked in the mirror to check her makeup before she ran her hands over her pants to straighten them out. She was wearing a similar outfit to me, black jeans, a tank top, leather jacket and a pair of heeled boots. She had her face all made up and she looked amazing. Cora always looked amazing. She didn’t have anyone to impress but that’s exactly what she did on the daily. I don’t think she knew or even intended to wow anyone, she was just always so beautiful.
“I’ll drive there since you’re driving back.” I teased as I grabbed my bag and my keys and headed toward the door.
Cora gave me the worst instructions ever, and it took us 45 minutes to get to the next town over. At that point, I was ready to just say fuck it and go back, but once I heard the music, I knew we were there.
“Oh, fun! Let’s go! I see Eric!” Cora squealed as she hopped out of the passenger’s seat before I even turned off the car. Once I got out of the car, I looked over at Eric and gave him a wave.
“Watch her! She’s driving tonight.” I warned him as I poked Cora gently in the shoulder. Eric gave her a quizzical look and she just rolled her eyes. “That’s what you get when you force me out of my apartment, thank you very much.”
“Whatever! Grab me something to drink while you’re in there!” Cora yelled out as I walked through the door and looked around for a sign of a kitchen. There was a line directly into a room off to the side, and people were wandering out with solo cups in their hands and a glazed look over their eyes. That’s the one.
I made my way over and once I finally got up to the makeshift bar, I didn’t know how to serve myself. I poured fruit juice with probably way too much vodka in one cup and Sprite in the other cup. Both cups in my hands, I sighed and headed towards the door. My tiny frame made it easy to squeeze through people usually, but there were so many bodies that I had to use my elbows to get people to actually scoot. The number of times I said, “excuse me” would have sent my grandma soaring but nobody was moving. I took it upon myself to just go for it and push everyone out of my way until I made it to a clearing.
Finally, out in the open of the living room, I started to rush towards the front door where I left my best friends. It took a total of three seconds for someone to ram into me, causing a giant spill of the contents of my cups.
“Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!” I immediately began to apologize for the giant wet red mark on the front of his grey shirt. I looked up, way up, to meet his gaze.
“Oh dear, no it’s okay. God what was in that cup?” he asked and held his shirt out to observe the giant red stain with a bit of a laugh.
I could feel myself blushing, not only because he was teasing me, but because the man was gorgeous. “If I’m being honest, I’m not quite sure. I just put liquids in a cup and hoped for the best.” I admitted and looked up at his brown eyes. Brown eyes usually were just that - brown eyes. But this man held something else in his eyes when I looked at them. Quickly looking away and around for some paper towel, I could feel my heart racing and my face heating up. We both leaned down to pick up the cups, and he tossed them into an opened trash bag. I spotted paper towels back towards what looked like it would be a dining room if it weren’t infested with solo cups and empty bottles.
The stranger cleared his throat, catching my attention, and stretched his hand out to me. “Daniel- well you can call me Dan.”
I could feel my cheeks tighten as I smiled and shook his hand. “Y/N. That’s it, that’s my name.” I mentally smacked myself in the face for even thinking of something so stupid. Dan seemed to like it though because he smiled and squeezed my hand a little before he pulled away.
“Well, it’s been interesting meeting you but I have to go clean off my shirt before it starts to stick or stain,” he said and smiled at me a little before he started to step away.
“Wait! Let me help. It’s the least I can do since I’m the one who ran into you with two cups of cold drink.” I offered and bit my lip gently.
“You don’t have to-”
“If you don’t want the juice to stain, I would suggest you find baking soda and laundry detergent,” I told him and headed toward the paper towels and grabbed the roll. I laid them over the large puddle on the hardwood floor, letting the liquid get soaked up before putting the soiled material in the same trash bag as the cups.
“Well, seeing as this is my friend Chris’ house, I happen to know exactly where to find both of those items,” Daniel told me with a bit of a smirk as he began to wander off.
“Ah, so you know the host?” I asked as we walked with confidence up the stairs and stopped in front of a linen closet. He opened the door and began to look around for the desired items.
“You could say that. I’ve known him for years and we had a bit of a falling out, but now it’s like we never stopped talking.” He explained to me as he grabbed the liquid detergent and rummaged around for the baking soda.
“That’s nice. That’s how you know it’s a true friendship. Anything else would have fizzled and died right there.”
Dan gave me a slight side eye and a smirk as he continued to rummage. “You’re absolutely right.” He pulled the small box of baking soda off of the top shelf and closed the closet door before he started to walk down the hallway again.
“I suggest a room with a tub,” I said before I rolled my eyes at myself.
“Oh like a bathroom, perhaps?” Daniel asked teasingly and opened the last door on our right.
“If it has a tub, it’ll work.” I tried to sound cool, suave even. It was not working.
“Wonderful. Fill it with water, I presume?”
He was definitely teasing me.
“Do you want a clean shirt or to sit here and make fun of me for 20 minutes Daniel?” I asked, crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow.
He held his hands up in surrender and laughed. “Point taken. Warm, hot or cold water?”
“Warm. Pour a capful of detergent under the running water, too.” I instructed as I pulled my hair back into a loose and messy bun while Dan followed my instruction.
“Now what?” I looked at him and bit my lip momentarily.
“Unless you’d like to submerge yourself in the tub, you need to take it off.” I then began to open the medicine cabinet in search of hydrogen peroxide. When I found the unopened bottle, I proceeded to tear the cap off and say, “Lay it on the ground or the top of the toilet seat and sprinkle the baking soda on top of the wet spot.”
I closed the cabinet and turned to see Dan laying the shirt on the ground flat and holding the box of baking soda. He wasn’t ripped, but he wasn’t unhealthy. He had a few freckles down his back and arms and I couldn’t help but stare as he put the baking soda down.
“Finished. Now, what boss?” I was brought back from my thoughts and looked back into his eyes. When it registered that he called me boss, I couldn’t help but laugh a little.
“Well, now we’re gonna pour the peroxide on it so that it bubbles up and lifts the stain,” I explained as I demonstrated. When the bubbles began to rise, I could see Dan become bewildered at the sight in front of him. “Science is pretty cool, huh?”
“Yea, this is awesome. Now what?”
I chuckled and picked up the shirt to rinse it under the flow of the tub water. A lot of the color came off, but I decided to soak it under the water anyways. I turned the water off and began to wring out his shirt in the bubbles.
“You may want to ask your friend for a shirt because this isn’t going to dry in an hour, especially considering we’re gonna have to let this soak for like half an hour,” I admitted teasingly as I bumped his shoulder with mine.
“You’re right. I’m sure he won’t mind if I just grabbed one. Let’s go!” He took my hand and pulled me up quickly. He peeked around the hallway and made a dash towards the room at the end of the hallway. Laughing, I ran behind him, gripping his hand tighter so that I wouldn’t fall behind. He closed the door behind us once we got in and I couldn’t help laughing louder.
“What is so funny?”
“The last thing I thought I would be doing tonight is laundry,” I admitted and sat on a neatly made bed as Dan opened a closet on the far end of the room.
“Yea, well the last thing I thought I’d be doing tonight is wearing one of Chris’ shirts.”
I chuckled and sat with my legs crossed as I watched him pick out a shirt. “I say go for that bright pink one on the way right.”
“Yea it really compliments my eyes, huh?”
We both laughed lightly and smiled at one another. Eventually, he chose a plain white shirt and sat on the bed beside me.
“So, what brings you to a party like this on a Saturday night, Y/N?” He asked and leaned back on his elbows.
“More like who... My best friend Cora insisted that I study too much and needed a night to myself.” I informed him.
“Ah, do you want a night to yourself? I can leave you here to nap and wake you up when it’s time to dry my shirt.”
I could tell he didn’t really intend to leave, but he was trying to be nice. “I’m okay. I quite enjoy your company, if I’m being honest. Besides, I’m not a party girl.”
“Is that why you had a cup half vodka half fruit punch?” Dan snickered and bit his lip.
I gently pushed his arm and shook my head. “For someone I’ve just met, you sure have a lot of jokes to make about me.” I teased back.
“I’m sorry if they’re mean. I feel like I can joke with you, though. I’ll stop if it’s bothering you.”
“I never said that.” I glanced over at him and leaned back the same way he was.
“Oh. Okay... good then.” He paused and looked at me. “I don’t like parties either. I think it was actually a blessing in disguise that you ran into me. If you hadn’t I’d probably have to be socializing. Gross, right?”
I couldn’t help but smile and bite my lip as he made his point. “Yea, blessing. That’s what that was.”
We laughed it off a bit before we sat and stared at each other for a moment in silence. I felt like he was trying to read me, trying to see my inner thoughts and deepest secrets before he whispered, “Y/N, have you had too much to drink tonight?”
I swallowed the lump in my throat and shook my head. “No.” Daniel leaned in a bit and glanced at my lips, then back into my eyes.
“Can I kiss you?”
I just nodded and leaned in to meet him halfway. I don’t know what happened, but my stomach suddenly weighed a ton but my chest felt like it was full of air. The longer the kiss went on, the closer we got and the more effort and passion we poured into the kiss.
Just as I was about to get handsy, the door opened and a boy with hair remarkably like Justin Bieber’s from 2010 began to speak. “Daniel, why is your-” he stopped when he noticed what was taking place. Dan and I separated immediately and I put my fingertips over my swollen lips, not making a lick of eye contact.
“On my bed, Dan?! Literally two guest rooms and you choose my bed?” the man paused and I could hear Dan laughing.
“Trust me that wasn’t what we came in here with the intentions of doing,” Dan spoke through his laughter. “Now what were you saying?”
“Your t-shirt is in my tub and I was curious as to why but I really don’t care anymore. I’ll just burn it with my sheets.” Chris announced and walked away without closing the door.
I giggled a little and I could feel my cheeks heating up.
“Well, that was sure as hell the most awkward thing I’ve ever had happen to me,” Dan said and took my hand into his.
“If you want, we can go to my place and actually be alone. We don’t have to be physical or anything but I would definitely like to talk to you.” He picked up our hands and placed a kiss on the back of my hand.
“Yea, let’s go. Although, being physical isn’t out of the question.” I kissed his cheek by his jawline once and stood up with him.

Elemental Wars Book Of Wishes Chapter V: New Training Montage/A whole new Junis
Monday morning, Junis went downstairs and cooked his own breakfast which is an omelet,eggs,and sausage also his orange juice. He ate his breakfast and drank his orange juice. He went to the track of field at 7:05 AM and ran for 6 hours. He ran from the track and field in Shenzhen to Anstice's Gym in Shanghai.
He continues to run for another hour, his speed and super speed have increased from running a lot on the track and field. A strange guy who is wearing a black leather jacket, black ripped jeans, skull shirt, and black shades challenged Junis to a race.
"Hey Kid." Junis looks around really confused. "Who said that?" "I am in front of you idiot." Junis faces foward and noticed him. "Who are you and what do you want?" "The name is Jet Hoziton, the leader of the Blaze Squad, I challenge you to a race to see how fast you are." "How fast I am?" "Damn right!" "Blaze Squad? Really? That is a horrible name for a group that I barely even know."
Jet got mad and growls at Junis as he put on his helmet. "Shut up!" "Your face is dumb!" (Of all times, he came out of nowhere and want to challenge me?) "Are you done acting like a child or you want to keep going?" "Huh!?" "You heard me." "That's it you little brat, the race starts at 5:25 pm, don't be late." Jet said as he drove off.
One hour later it was 3pm, Samuel sees Junis by himself and decided to chat with him. "Hey Junis, what are you doing here alone?" "Hmm?" "I finished training alone and some weirdo showed up out of nowhere riding a motorcycle." "Who's the creep that was disturbing you?" "His name is Jet Hoziton" Samuel was shocked and remembered that name.
"Jet Hoziton!?" "Yes, that guy." "Oh shit." "What?" "What did you do!?" Samuel said as he grabbed Junis by his charcoal T-Shirt. "I didn't do anything, he was the idiot that challenged me to a race!" "You sir are so fucked dude." "How am I screwed?" "Jet Hoziton is the #1 fastest, undefeated racer in Japan!" "His record is 7,950,250 wins and 0 losses dude!"
"I can take him!" Samuel started laughing so hard and got up and left. "You are going to lose but I'll watch it at home." "Why?" "The race going to be live at Shanghai China at the Hot rod Stadium, later dude." (I can beat him, I know I can.)
5:25 pm at the Hot Rod Stadium, Jet got out of his motorcycle and smirked at Junis and shakes his hand. "Good luck kid, you are going to need it." "I will beat you Jet Hoziton." "Good luck with that you loser." "Is everyone ready?" "Yes!" "Get on with it already!" "Ready." "Get set." Jet got in his motorcycle, Junis gets ready since he decided to race on feet.
"GO!" Announcer said as Jet started racing. Junis gave Jet a 10 minute headstart. Jet was laughing and gloating for a while. "That little twerp was really stubborn to challenge the Hot Rod!" Jet gloating so long until Junis was catching up using his full speed. "Too slow, and game over Jet!" Junis ran at Blazing speed past Jet. Jet was really lost, how Junis caught up to him. "What in the hell!?" "How did he managed to catch up!?"
Junis passed Jet The Hot Rod Hoziton and through the finish line and won the golden trophy. Junis took his first ever 1st place trophy home and placed it in his clear trophy case. He had Spicy Tuna rolls with Salmon for dinner, He washed the dishes and went to bed.
Tuesday Morning, Junis went to Anstice's Gym early at 7am and puts on his Black Tank Top, and his Red Shorts, he opened his gym bag and puts on his headband that was handmade by Kimichi herself.
He got started lifting weights using the 50 pound barbells to increase his power, his defense, and to have a stronger body to prevent from getting weak and sick. he used the machine to strengthen his arms, his legs, his abdomen, his back, his lower back, every part of his body.
He completed 800 Squats, 500 Jumping Jacks, 350 Pullups, 250 Push ups, and 250 Sit Ups from start to finish. Junis went swimming in the basement wearing his gray swimsuit, his statistics improved, his body is built and he's taller than before.
After 10 hours of intensive training, He went to the Shenzhen Mall with Kimichi, and Sukina. Both Kimichi and Sukina was surprised and started walking in the mall with him. "Y-Yakamura Kun." "Yes Ishikawa San?" "How was your workout?" "It was wonderful, I feel a lot stronger, and more confident." "That's amazing news Yakamura Kun!" "I'm not done yet." "Eh? What do you mean by that Yaka Sama?" "I got more work to do on my last sick day tomorrow Akamine San, I can't wait to see our friends at school on Wednesday."
After they had their chit chat, Junis bought a lot of clothes, Kimichi paid for the total of the clothes and souvenirs he bought. 3 hours later after waving at Sukina, Kimichi and Junis walked home holding hands while he's carrying a bag full of clothes and souvenirs.
Junis put up his stuff in his closet, and freshen up for dinner with Kimichi. They had Stir fry with Dumplings and Curry Chicken, it was delicious. Junis noticed her new beautiful hairstyle, her new look, and her new barrette that's clipped in her hair. She opened her left eye that is sky blue.
"Well, what do you think of my new look?" Junis kept looking at her beautiful smooth long hair, not paying attention to her. "What's wrong Yakamura Kun?" Is it too much?" Junis looked at Kimichi and apologized to her. "I'm sorry Ishikawa San, can you repeat that again, please?" Kimichi sighs and repeat the same question again to him so he can understand.
"I said what do you think of my new look?" Kimichi said as she got closer to him. Junis smiled at her and holds her hand as he got closer to her. "You look gorgeous Ishikawa San, just look at your beautiful eyes, your smooth beautiful hair, your pretty fingernails." Junis said as he kissed her hand gently like a gentlemen.
Kimichi's face was brighten red and replied to his compliment. "T-T-T-Thank y-y-you for the compliment Y-Y-Yakamura Kun." "Even your beautiful earrings, your dress fits your beauty." "O-Oh stop, you are just saying t-that." "I mean it, everything I said is positive, if I was your first, I will treat you like a princess, Ishikawa San." "Oh Y-Yakamura Kun."
Their eyes meet and about to kiss until Mrs. Ishikawa started coming downstairs. Junis and Kimichi had to stop and isolated from each other and their faces were brighter red.
"What's going on here in this kitchen?" Mrs. Ishikawa said as she smiled at both of them. "N-N-Nothing happened here Mrs. Ishikawa!" "J-Jeez mother you are embarrassing us!" "Don't say that sweetheart, are you buddy buddy with Mr. Yakamura?" "N-No I'm not!" "I'm just joking dear, now off to bed." "She's right, it's getting late, let's go to bed." Junis and Kimichi went to bed at 9:30 pm.
Tuesday morning 10am at the Shanghai Hospital, Mrs. Ishikawa, Kimichi, and Junis was waiting for the doctor so Kimichi and Junis can get their physical, since they are the only two high school students in the hospital. 20 minutes later the doctor called up Kimichi to give her a physical as Junis waits patiently.
(Keep in mind, the doctor is a young woman. Yes she's thicc she's a 22 year old woman, light brown hair, grey eyes, her breast size is an H Cup, she's german, 5'11, 175 lbs.)
"Good morning, My name is Habitah Vasquez, I will be your doctor for today, tell me your name please, first, middle, and last name." "My name is Kimichi Mina Ishikawa." "How old are you Ms. Ishikawa?" "I am 14 years old." "Where was you born?" "I was born in Argentina." "What's your height?" "My height 6'0." "How about your weight?" "My weight is 180 lbs." "Your Breast Size?" "F Cup."
20 minutes later after Kimichi's Physical, she left the room and Doctor Vasquez called up Junis to give him a physical as Kimichi wait for him. "Welcome back Mr. Yakamura." "Likewise." "Before we get started on your physical, how is your memory process?" "Little bit better but it's progress." "I see that you look different than the last time we met, how did it go?" "First of all, I'm glad to be back." "Second of all, it's going well." "I see that you are taller, stronger, and in shape." "I have to give a lot of credit to my best friends Ishikawa San and Anstice."
"Before you go, answer these questions for me, are you okay with that Mr. Yakamura?" "Yes Doctor." "Where was you born?" "Germany." "How old are you?" "14 years old." "What's your height?" "6'2." "What's your weight?" "215 lbs."
"After a long talk with Doctor Vasquez and finished his physical, Mrs. Ishikawa took Junis and Kimichi home to enjoy their day off.
"Um Yakamura Kun." "Yes Ishikawa San?" "Do you have any plans for tomorrow?" "hmm..." "You really don't have to tell me right away." "I don't mind telling you, we are friends after all." "My plans for tomorrow is to join Shanghai Academy basketball team." "Are you sure that's possible for you to accomplish?" "Affirmative, I'm absolutely sure I can make it a possible goal."
"Well then, I'm happy for you." "Thanks Ishikawa San." "I also want you to do anything you put your mind to, I believe in you." "R-Really?" "Do you mean it?" "Yes." "Thank you, I will decide tomorrow after school." "Sounds good." After Kimichi and Junis talked about tomorrow's plans after school, Kimichi took him to the basement to do something different on their spare time.
"Uh Ishikawa San, I have two questions." "Ask away." "Why are we down here in the basement?" "What's inside the boxes?" "First, we are here to make pendants." "Second, the boxes is full of materials, in total, 3,200." "3,200 sounds like a lot." "Right?" "Let's begin."
Kimichi began explaining how to make pendants out of materials. "Okay, we have plenty of materials in each box to make pendants right?" "Yes we do." "Do you know how to use this machine?" "Not really, what does it do?" "The machine turned materials into one pendant." "Woah, that sounds cool." "Give it a try, but remember the limit is twenty materials only, neither more than twenty" "I'll be careful and insert fifteen materials."
Junis puts fifteen materials in the machine, the materials are six jade, four emerald, five pearl to make the very first pendant. The pendant is called the Emerald Heart+. He shows Kimichi Emerald Heart+ and puts it on her neck. Kimichi blushed and looks at Junis. "I-I-It's beautiful, I love it, thank you for giving me such a wonderful gift." "I feel bad that I didn't make one for you." "You don't have to do it, I'm just grateful to you Ishikawa San." Kimichi and Junis hugged each other.
Few hours later, The three of them (Junis, Kimichi, Mrs. Ishikawa) had Shrimp, Crab sticks, and Fish for dinner. Mrs. Ishikawa talked about her second job as a security guard at Shanghai Nightclub, It's a tough job to handle especially working at the Five Star (☆☆☆☆☆) Nightclub. She gets paid more than her first job as a bus driver, twelve million dollars in a year, but twenty thousand dollars per week.
After that, Junis and Kimichi went to their room and decided to talk before going to bed. "Hey, Yakamura Kun, thanks for everything you done for us." "No problem Ishikawa San, that's what friends are for." "It's better to support and work together with everyone. To believe in one another, instead of doubting myself. Right Ishikawa San?" Junis said as he smiled at her for the first time.
Kimichi saw him smile with happiness for the first time, she smiled back at him as they hold hands and fell asleep together in the same bed being positive, having good vibes, not just believing in their friends and families, but to believe in themselves that will give them the courage to overcome their own fears.

Let’s just start by saying you your best friend Min Yoongi, you two met in grade school, but it all started when you were a new kid and out of everyone the one person that talked to you was Yoongi. Ever since then the two of you have been best friends ever since.Yoongi and you would always talk about the future and the future was once the two of you graduated high school and college started Yoongi and you decided to move in together. It was always a childhood dream to live with your best friend until you realize you had feelings for him. . .
~ It’s moving day. ~
You stared at your empty room and you couldn’t help to feel depressed about leaving a place where you had so many good and bad memories that made you who you are today. As you grab the last box in your room you walked towards the door and looked at your empty room one last time. Goodbye. .
You headed downstairs towards the driveway where your parents and Yoongi was waiting for you. You placed the last box into the car and you couldn’t help but sigh out of sadness of moving from your childhood home.
You turned towards your parents and you could see a smile placed on their face but sadness in their eyes. You ran towards them and wrapped your arms around your parents as tight as you could.
“I’m going to to miss you guys so much!” you said.
“We are going to miss you too sweetie, you know we are always goona be here when you wanna come home.” your mom said as she was about to break down crying.
You guys stood there in silence until Yoongi spoke.
“Y/n we were get going before it hits traffic.” he said while walking towards us.
Your parents hugged you tighter then slowly let you go.
“Yoongi, you better take care of my Y/N. I’m trusting you son.” your dad said as he gave Yoongi a hug
“I will sir.” Yoongi said.
Your mom walked towards Yoongi, placed her hands on his cheeks, “Yoongi I will miss you very much, but you take care of my Y/N alright.” your mom said as she hugged Yoongi.
Your parents were a second family to Yoongi, since he was at your house taking naps and eating dinner with your family all the time.
You gave your parents one last hugged then said your goodbyes then walked towards the passenger seat of the car. Yoongi walked toward the driver seat.
Once he turned on the engine of the car, you rolled down the window and stuck your head out and began waving at your parents as you guys were pulling out of the driveway.
“I will miss you guys!” you yelled out.
As the car got farther away from your house, you sat back into the seat then placed your head on Yoongi shoulder as you looked at the road where you about start your new life with your best friend by your side.
Then two played your road trip playlist and the two of you were off.
~
The two of you were a few minutes aways from the apartment building and you were getting excited that you couldn’t sleep any longer.
You then wrapped your arm around Yoongi’s arm then you leaned your head against his shoulder, “You know you are my best friend right.”
“Am I really?”
You were shocked that you lifted your head, “Yes dumbass.” you slapped his arm.
“Hey I'm driving over here.” he chuckled. “Okay yes I know I'm your best friend.”
You smiled, “I’m just so happy right now it's like I'm dreaming. We are going to the same university and we are finally living together like we always talk about when we were younger.” you said as you leaned your head on his shoulder then you look up at him then place a kiss on his cheek.
Yoongi smiled, “I know. Our dream is finally happening.”
After what felt like we made it to the apartment building, there were six dorks waiting in front of the building for the two of you.
You rolled down the window and stick out half your body out and waved at them.
Hoseok, Jimin, and V were waving at you guys like crazy people.
You began laughing while Yoongi just had a little grin on his face.
Yoongi parked in front the apartment building, so we can unload all the boxes. Once he parked you unbuckled your seatbelt then ran outside of the car. You ran towards the group of boys. The first one you hugged was V, “Hi guys.” you smiled then hugged each of them individually.
“Hi Y/N.” they replied.
Yoongi got out of the car and greeted his friends, “You know this whole reunion is fun and all, but we have so much to unpack then we can party.” Yoongi said.
“Yeah let’s do it.” Namjoon yelled.
Everyone grabbed a box from the car then began heading up the stairs of the building. As you walked inside it was a modern apartment, you walk in and see the living room and on the left see the kitchen which was brand new, there are two bedrooms which were next to each other, one bathroom that by in the hallway of the bedrooms and a balcony that connects the two bedrooms.
After two hours of moving the boxes up to the apartment, all the boys helped Yoongi and you build your bed, dresser and arranged the living room furniture. The boys were so helpful that you guys were finished building and arranging the furniture.
“Thanks, guys, for helping us move in.” You were so thankful for them.
“No problem Y/n. It’s not a hassle.” Jin said.
“Um so as a thank you from Yoongi and me, I have five cases of beer for us to celebrate.” you smiled.
They all had giant smiles on their faces and hugged you.
“Wow, thanks, Y/N.”
“Thanks,”
“Thanks, Hyung.”
They all said.
We all gather in the living room with beers in our hands, “Let’s play Truth or Dare,” Taehyung said.
“That’s a dangerous game.” Hoseok said nervously.
“Let’s do it!” Namjoon yelled.
“Okay everyone who agrees raise your hand.” you said.
Taehyung, Namjoon, Jimin, Yoongi, and Jungkook raised their hands.
“Okay the game is on.” you said.
We all played rock, paper, scissors to see who goes first, Jimin won.
“Jungkookie truth or dare?” Jimin said.
“Dare.”
“I dare you to take Yoongi’s underwear and wear it.” Jimin said.
“Okay that sounds easy.”
“BUT, you have to run around us wearing only his underwear.” Jimin had a smirk on his face.
“What!?” Jungkook eyes went wide, “But nonna here. .”
“Do it Kookie!” Taehyung yelled.
“It’s okay kookie I won’t judge.” you flashed a smile, “Plus you have seen the worst part of me before.” you laughed at the stupid memory.
“Okay I will do it.” Jungkook agreed.
Jungkook got up and went into Yoongi’s room to find a pair of Yoongi’s underwear. After a few minutes, Jungkook ran outside of the room running in circles around us then ran back inside Yoongi’s room. We all had a good laugh.
Each dare got intense and each truth got personal.
“Y/N truth or dare?” Taehyung said.
“Dare,” You giggle a bit tipsy.
“Um. . I dare you. . I dare you to tell us who you had a crush on between us.” Taehyung said.
“Umm I actually thought Jungkookie was a cutie, but I had a little crush on Namjoon.” You confessed.
“Dam Namjoon and Y/N” Taehyung smirked.
Namjoon began to get red.
We all laughed.
After a long game, it was getting late so the boys went home.
You began to stumble in your room to put on pj’s which was Yoongi’s old tee shirt and shorts. Then you tried to go to bed but for some reason, you didn’t feel comfortable sleeping by yourself yet. You got out of bed then made your way into Yoongi’s room.
“Yoongi are you still up?” you questioned.
“Hmm,” he mumbled.
You walked towards Yoongi’s bed and crawled right next to him.
“You can’t sleep?” Yoongi said as he scooted towards you and wrapped his around your figure.
“No. . I’m not used to the place yet.” you cuddled next to him.
“It’s alright, you can sleep here till you are comfortable.”
You went to the same position you always are when you sleep with Yoongi, you lay your head in between his chest and his arm that wrapped around your body.
~
Flashback. . .
Yoongi and you were in fourth grade.
You planned a sleepover with Yoongi for weeks now and you were so excited.
It was Friday after school, you ran out of your classroom to find Yoongi. Once you found Yoongi, you began waving your small little arm as hard as you can to get his attention. When Yoongi saw you a huge smile was place on his face. He ran towards you.
“Y/N!” he yelled.
“Yoongi! Do you have your clothes for tonight?” you asked as you grabbed Yoongi’s hand.
“Yes.” he smiled.
The two waited in the front of the school for your parents to come and pick you guys up. Once they came, Yoongi and you ran towards the car.
When we arrived at the house your mom already made lunch for the two of you guys, so Yoongi and you ran towards the kitchen and ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
“Thank mommy,” you took Yoongi’s and yours dishes to the sink then tippy toe to give your mom a kiss on the cheek.
Yoongi then did the same.
“Thanks mom,” Yoongi said has he walked towards your mother and hugged her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
“Your welcome sweeties,” your mother said.
After eating Yoongi and you ran upstairs to play in your room.
“What should we do?” you questioned.
“I don’t know what should we do?” Yoongi questioned.
You began thinking. . then something popped up in your head.
“How we build a . . . FORT!” you yelled out of excitement.
“Yeah let’s do it.” Yoongi agreed.
The two of you grabbed all the blankets from your bed and some from the hallway closet to the make the most epic fort ever. Yoongi and you laughed at the blankets falling because of it either too short or we didn’t place it in the right place. After an hour of building the two you step back and looked at it with amazement. (The Fort)
The two of you crawled inside and began making puppet shadow figures and creating a show. We both cracked up laughing at how bad the puppets were turning out.
“Wanna hear a scary story?” Yoongi said.
“Umm Okay.” you nervously said.
“Okay,” Yoongi then sat up and walked towards the door where the light shift was to turn off the light then came back and had a flashlight on towards his face, “Once an upon a time there was this princess and she was loved by so many people, but there was this evil lady that didn’t how the princess was always so happy so one day the old lady snuck up to the princess room and once she got into her room she fed her poison and killed her. . but they say that they can hear the princess crying and she haunts people that are very happy.”
You flinch the whole time he explains the story then flashlight turned off.
“Omg the flashlight turned off,” Yoongi yelled.
“WHAT!?” you were about to piss yourself.
The light turned on, “BOO!” Yoongi yelled.
You screamed then took a pillow and hit Yoongi with it, he began laughing at you.
“I hate you! It’s not funny.” You yelled.
Yoongi continued laughing, “It was funny.”
It was getting dark, so you mother comes in to tell to get ready for bed. Yoongi and you walked into the bathroom and brushed your teeth together. He had a power ranger toothbrush while you had a pink princess one then the two of you began getting dressed for bed. Your mom tucked the two of into bed, you were laying on your bed and Yoongi was laying on the floor.
“Goodnight sweeties,” then places kisses on our foreheads.
“Goodnight mom,” The two of said insic.
After a thirty minute since your mom left, you couldn’t sleep. . You kept thinking about the story Yoongi talked about. . It really scared you.
“Yoongi are you still up?” You crawled out of bed.
He grunted, “Yeah what up Y/N?”
“I’m scared can you come and sleep with me. .” You said.
Yoongi then got up from the bed and crawled onto your bed with you then laid right next to you. “What’s wrong?” Yoongi said.
“The story scared me,” You confessed.
“Don’t worry Y/N I will protect you. I will always be by your side no matter what.” he said.
You then reach out to grab Yoongi’s hand, “Always and forever?”
“Always and forever.” he repeated.
The two of you dozed off to sleep. .
To Be Continued. . .

Adam and Eve Chapter 2: Bang Bang
Prologue. Chapter One.
Just a few things before I start, this is for sure one of the kinkiest things I’ve written (gun play) so if that makes anyone uncomfortable I so understand and there is no pressure to read. I will have a summary of what happened in this chapter at the begin of the next one so you can still follow the story without reading it. I am really stretching my limits with writing really dark characters so I’m giving it all I got. I have plans for worse stuff too hehe. Feedback is very encouraged!
Summary: Betty and Jughead go to meet the Serpents and add a new unexpected member to the gang.
Rated: Super M
Word Count: 3432
Jughead was disillusioned pretty quickly when Betty insisted they shower separately. She was deathly nervous, he could tell; and she just needed silence to soak in the steam and think of all the things she could do wrong in front of the Serpents. Number one, she could pull an Archie and waltz in like an All-American Boy Fighting for Justice. It amazed her how plainly he saw things, like a rookie cop on a crime show. Her and Archie had the privilege of growing up with parents that had nice jobs and lived in a nice neighborhood where people didn’t have to make a living being a shady character.
There was a sharp knock on the door, startling Betty and causing her to drop the shampoo bottle in her hands.
“Betty! Hurry up or I’m going to have to hop in there with you,” Jughead joked on the other side of the door. Her parents would be home soon and it would mean a lot less explaining if she could get Jughead and his florescent colored truck out of here. Betty made a quick rinse of her hair and left the water running for a quick transfer. She wrapped a plush towel around her body and slinked back to her room. Jughead is waiting for her on the bed sans shirt. He is trying to tease her. His arms are above his head, stretching out his lean chest and torso. Jughead’s pants are just low enough where Betty can see the beginning of his patch of black coarse hairs.
Betty swallowed, “Water is still running, better hop in quickly.”
“I don’t have a change of clothes,” Jughead murmured, not moving.
“You’re a boy, just wear what you did yesterday. Go,” Betty swatted him out of the room and went to her dresser and closet scouring her clothes. What could she wear that made her look more dangerous, but not like she was trying to hard?
The blonde opted for a simple pair of jeans, black Keds and a form fitting black V-neck. It was simple and she could easily blend in. Jughead came out with a pink towel wrapped loosely around his waist as he ran a hand through his wet locks. Betty was embarrassed to realize how long it took her to put together a lame outfit to meet a bunch of brutes.
“Is this okay?” Betty asked her boyfriend and she whirled in a Miss-America-type circle.
Jughead snickered, “They don’t care. You could wear a trash bag. I bet you’d look hot in a trash bag too.”
The boy proceeded to drop his towel like nothing and dried himself. Betty could never get over how absolutely gorgeous he was. His beauty marks and freckles mapped out his body leading Betty to the treasures hidden; his smug grin, angular jaw, broad shoulders, sharp hipbones… he was truly majestic. He pulled his clothes on from the night before and put the signature beanie over his wet hair. Lastly, he shrugged on his jacket and offered his arm to Betty like a gentlemanly escort.
“Shall we,” Jughead said with a lopsided grin.
“We shall.”
Betty was so eager to get this over with, she left her jacket inside and it caused her to shiver in the old pick up. She distracted herself by watching Jughead’s expression as he drove across the rocky back roads. He was impossibly stoic and showed no inflection of emotion. This was the Jughead FP warned her about; impenetrable and hard. He has nothing to worry about, they approached him. They want him to be a member of their family. However, there is probably always a part of him that fears the rejection he’s received from everyone in his life. They pull up to the biker bar and it looks relatively empty seeing as it is 11am. Jughead turns off the truck but doesn’t get out.
“If I go in there, Betty, I can’t go back,” Jughead said, his voice crackling under the threat of tears. He wiped his nose on the sleeve of his leather jacket.
“Do you want to?” Betty asked.
He smiled at her briefly and grabbed her hand. He knew what she meant, did he want to go back to be lonely and stepped all over? The Serpents could give him confidence, protection, and maybe lessons on how to defend himself. Jughead let go of her hand to reach for the door handle and stare at the entrance of the Whyte Wyrm. Betty soon joined him and they intertwined fingers walking up the rickety steps. The door was locked and Jughead rapped on it carefully. A little bald head peaked over the window and inspected them incredulously before opening the barndoors properly stolen from a farmer when the old doors were broken in an unsavory barfight.
“Hey, it’s FP’s boy and his little lady!” The short bald man yelled behind him with maybe a cockney accent?, presumably to the rest of the gang.
A mob of men came into view and Hack Saw, the man Jughead met that night at the trailer, stood in front of them all and ushered Jughead and Betty inside the quiet bar. He lead them to a large wooded room behind the bar. A little sheep dog named Hot Dog followed the group. The room had a huge long table in the center and chairs from different dining sets scattered around it. It looks like a hillbilly’s board room. The men take their seats and Jughead and Betty do the same. Betty took in her surroundings and felt completely out of place. Along the walls she saw several women standing and whsierping to each other. Was Betty supposed to stand off to the side like them? If Jughead was going through with being a Serpent, which he clearly was, she was not going to be a bystander like these ladies clearly were.
Hack Saw sat at the head of the table, clearly the new boss after FP’s incarceration. He clapped his hands together and leaned back on the back two legs of his chair.
“You know me. Bald guy who let you in Wally. Young guy with the acne is Wolf. I’m sure you saw him lurking around Southside High,” Hack Saw began the introduction. Wolf gave a skeptical nod in Jughead’s direction. “Guy with two different colored eyes is Tuck, long haired guy is Georgi and lastly, we got Jaq. He’s our Canadian connection. Behind us are our ladies.”
Jughead thought their introductions boiled them to singular beings and he wondered how he would be introduced by Hack Saw. Probably the kid with the hat. He nodded back at all of them. He wasn’t sure what to do with the information. Were they all going to be pals now, drinking beer, and playing poker?
“Alright, down to business. Wally is our weapons guy. Toss him his piece,” Hack Saw said.
Wally dug into a non-descript black bag under the table and slid a silver shining gun across to Jughead. He dug through again and passed him a green box full of bullets. Jughead stared at it, not removing his hands from his lap. He’d never seen a real gun in his life. He also had no idea that his dad would have one either, but it’s clear he did. What had his dad done?
“I don’t know how to use it,” Jughead said finally.
“Wally’ll help ya,” Hack Saw said. “Now boy, I’m putting you on bar deliveries with Wolf for the time being.”
“What does that entail?” Jughead asked.
Hack Saw quirked an eyebrow and looked back at a woman behind him, probably his wife by the look of her age and mom jeans.
“Entail means what does the task involve, sweetheart,” she replied in a scratchy voice.
“Oh yeah, what you gotta do is stalk the bars on the north side and swipe alcohol from their delivery trucks to supply the Whyte Wyrm. It’s easy we just need strong guys to lift the boxes quickly.”
Jughead didn’t realize he would go straight to work. He sort of thought he would get a free pass on that because of his Dad, but it seemed he was more replacing him as a body to run their business, whatever that may mean.
He hadn’t heard a peep from Betty the whole time and was considered she was mad at him for dragging her into this and as soon as this little meeting was through she was hitting the bricks and finding solace in the arms of their redhead friend. He doesn’t know why that thought popped into his head but he sure as hell didn’t like it. Jughead looked over at her and instead of seeing contempt, her eyes were darkened to a dark shade of green, almost like swamp water, and a weird twisted smile spread across her pink lips. She looked like a porcelain doll that just cracked her expression was eerie and wished to dive into the labyrinth of her brain.
“Do I get a gun?” Betty spoke up. Hack Saw and the rest of the gang looked literally blown away by Betty’s question as they all leaned back further in the chairs and even the silent women on the side gasped and whispered amongst each other.
“Like hell she does,” Hack Saw’s wife cut in, “I’ve been married to this bastard for 25 years and I ain’t got a gun.”
Hack Saw agreed, “We don’t give the girls their own guns. That’s just the roles. You gotta be a Serpent.”
Jughead was amongst the people who were aghast by her sudden determination to be a part of the whole situation.  “You don’t have to do this for me,” Jughead leaned over and pressed his lips to her ear.
“I’m not,” she said aloud. “If I must be a Serpent to get a gun, then make me a Serpent.”
“Betts—“ Jughead began, but Hack Saw cut off Betty’s boyfriend with a raised hand.
“These things ain’t toys, girl,” Hack Saw said to Betty, the first time he looked her the entire time she been at the Whyte Wyrm.
“They aren’t toys? You just gave one to Jughead and he’s never used one before. At least I’ve gone to a firing range with my dad,” Betty explained.
Jughead scuffed in his head. What can’t his perfect girlfriend do.
“Listen, girl, if you can hit three targets in three tries, I’ll you a gun,” Hack Saw snickered looking around at his gang mates. “I’ll set the targets.”
“Deal. And the name is Betty, not girl.”
Jughead was beyond amazed at the ferocity of his girlfriend and frankly, she had a pair of big balls. She was demanding a gun from a gang leader and putting up bets with him. There was a part of him that was incredibly turned on by her display of raw need for power but he didn’t want her to get caught up with this… but maybe he underestimated just how dark she was inside. He shuffled in seat as Betty took Jughead’s newly acquired gun and began to load the barrel with three bullets. She loaded it was such experienced precision. Betty was clearly confident. She spun the barrel back into place and smiled at Hack Saw, “Ready when you are.”
It started to rain outside as the Southside Serpents and their ladies watched as Hack Saw set up beer cans along the cars in the junkyard behind the Whyte Wyrm. They were placed in difficult places like high on a car hood that was stacked atop other cars, one on a bumper and one precariously perched in the broken window of an old mustang.
“The rules are you gotta hit all three with only three bullets. Gotta stand 25 feet back,” Hack Saw shouted to be heard of the sound of rain pounding on the rusted metal of the junkyard cars.
“Where are the headphones?” Betty asked innocently.
“Heh, girl, this isn’t the shooting range with your Daddy,” Hack Saw chuckled.
Betty decided not to dignify Hack Saw with correcting him—it was Betty not girl— because he was about to be embarrassed when Elizabeth Cooper became the first female Serpent. She steadied her hand and rose the piece at eye level and squinted. Her arms were outstretched as far as they could go and she felt the coolness of the metal trigger on her fingertips. She aimed at the can in the window first and blasted away, beaning it right in the middle. Over the loud pulsing in her head she could hear Hack Saw murmur something about beginner’s luck. She aimed again for the can on the top of the hood and the one on the bumper in quick succession quickly, shooting both down.
There was a deafening silence that was only overshadowed by the echoing of Betty’s gun shots. Not a single muscle of anyone moved until Jughead strolled up to his girlfriend and dipped her in his arms and kissed her until the breath in her body was sucked out of her. He released her and gave her a shit eating grin.
“Well, shit,” Hack Saw said as he began a slow clap. With the permission of the leader, the rest of the gang and their girls clapped for Betty. Even Hot Dog let out triumphant barks for her. “Presenting out first lady Serpent, Betty.”
A girl with purple hair came up to her, she looked around their age so she was most likely Wolf’s girlfriend and clapped giddily, “I want to make you your own jacket. It’ll be more form fitting and will look adorable on you!”
This meeting had gone better than Jughead had imagined, but nothing like he thought. Wally went inside and came out quickly with a gun and bullets for Betty. He looked at Jughead as he handed her the items, “I guess I don’t need to teach you to shoot boy, your girl here can do it for me.” Wally gave a friendly wink and joined Hack Saw who stood squarely by the edge of the junkyard.
“You can join your boy with deliveries,” Hack Saw told Betty. “Meeting is adjourned.”
Betty and Jughead grabbed their belongings and were silent until they climbed into the truck.
Jughead is the first to speak, “I want to fuck you so bad right now.”
Betty let out a fake gasp, “Jughead Jones, how forward of you!”
“What made you want a gun anyway?” Jughead asked as he shifted the truck into reverse and whipped out of the park and in the direction of the Riverdale Trailer Park.
“I don’t know… it was like this part of me deep in my stomach wanted to know what it would feel like to hold a gun in my hands, being a part of something so….” Betty’s voice trailed off trying to find the right word.
“Dark?” Jughead finished for her.
“Yeah… dark. When Wally gave that gun to you, I had these images in my mind of us… like… God this is so humiliating,” Betty gave an awkward laugh.
“It’s okay, Betty. I want to know,” Jughead urged her on with unbridled curiosity.
“I had this gross, but hot, fantasy of us in bed together, naked, running the heat of our just fired guns across each other’s bodies…” Betty looked at him and bit her lip. Her eyes were big and doe-y and Jughead was about to cream his skinny jeans.
“It’s not gross,” Jughead croaked out.
“There is something seriously wrong with me,” Betty said.
Jughead wrapped his arm around her, keeping one hand on the wheel and the other threaded through her damp ponytail. “No one is perfect. I love all of you.”
“Even the fucked parts?”
“Especially the fucked parts,” Jughead laughed and migrated his hand from Betty’s hair to the inseam of her jeans. He played with the frayed thread at the apex of her thighs. Her breath hitched and she felt the delicious burning in her chest. Her boyfriend firmly pressed his three fingers to her core and rubbed her clit over her jeans. Jughead could feel the heat pooling at her center. A low groan fell from Betty’s lips and the sound resounded throughout the truck. Jughead smirked and traveled up and unbutton her jeans to reach a hand inside.
“You’re driving,” Betty said breathlessly as Jughead’s slender fingers slipped into her silky folds. God, he loved being able to play with her whenever he wanted. He spent countless nights stroking himself begging for the chance to just see Betty do a split in her cheerleading skirt, and now he got to feel what was underneath that said skirt.
He pulled into the dirt of the driveway of his trailer and parked it one handed. He turned off the car and leapt from his seat to kiss Betty feverishly as he moved his fingers in and out of her dripping sex. Betty pulled away from Jughead’s sloppy kiss and stilled his digital thrusts by grasping his wrist.
“Did do something wrong?” Jughead asked with his eyes filled with genuine concern and regret before Betty even said something.
“Can we try it?” Betty’s voice was husky.
Jughead looked down and realized he hadn’t noticed that Betty had been gripping her gun the whole car ride.
“Today? Now?” Jughead asked.
Betty just simply nodded. Jughead moved his body off hers and took the gun from his leather jacket and stared blankly at the piece of medal. Betty took the piece from him, making sure he still held it while she put the barrel in her mouth and sucked on it and licked the base like it was Jughead’s own cock. He automatically stiffened at the uncomfortable and confusing stirring in his pants as she made a show of caressing the gun with her mouth. The raven-haired boy left his mouth agape and Betty removed the gun from her mouth and got out of the car, heading from the trailer, and not waiting for Jughead to catch up. When his rigid body finally climbed the few steps to the trailer, he walked in on his girlfriend stripping her clothes. She was down to nothing but her pure white panties which she promptly slide out of. Wordlessly, Betty peeled the leather Serpent jacket off Jughead and wrapped herself in it. The leather swallowed her whole but she didn’t look lost in it. She looked found. If someone told him last year, or even last night; that he would have a naked Betty Cooper in nothing but a Serpent jacket and a gun in her hand waiting for him to fuck her he would’ve collapsed right there. But this was the reality before him and he was fucking hooked. Just the image of her dark eyes and sultry lips was addicting.
“Take me please, Juggie,” Betty sounded so innocent but looked anything but.
She laid back on the couch and spread her legs. Jughead stripped his shirt quickly and got his knees before his goddess and kissed her senselessly. His 16-year-old brain couldn’t comprehend what was happening and feels like he’s short circuiting. Betty undid his pants as he was busy leaving purple blossoms along her neck. His system was given an unearthly shock when Betty scraped the edge of the barrel across his hot and heavy chest. He took the piece from her and ran his tongue along it like she did before.
“Do you trust me?” Jughead asked. She could practically hear his heart hammering through his chest. “It’s not loaded, remember.”
Betty nodded unable to form words in the haze of uncharted debauchery.
“Tell me if this is too much,” Jughead whispered into the shell of her ear as he pressed the coolness of the metal into the heat of her sex. It is so dirty Betty practically cums right there. He leaves the gun inside her and is just mesmerized at the picture before him—a gun nestled into Betty’s vagina. He moved it in and out slightly before pulling it out and licking her drippings off the barrel.
“Fuck me,” Betty managed to say.
Jughead sat beside Betty and pulls in her onto his lap where she settles her sex on his manhood and bounces on him, both cumming so quickly just from the heat of it all they collapse into one another and just hold each other there.
“Who the hell are we?” Jughead whimpered into Betty’s ear.
“I have no idea,” she answered solemnly, half ashamed and half utterly satisfied.
