Collected Information about the Bangkok Concerts

This is a post collecting information and sources about the concerts held by the Zhang Sanjian scam gang on May 10th and 11th. I will keep this updated as more information comes out. Please let me know if you have any questions, corrections, or additions.

[Masterpost of my informational posts about the situation]

Lead-Up

The earliest account to promote the concert was a planted fan trying to collect information from other fans in group chats, not an “official account”. This was on April 10th, only a month prior to the day the concert would be held. Accounts officially associated with the scam would not start promotions until April 20th.

Someone who contacted the venue on April 20th was told that the hall had been booked for 05-11 but that the venue could not disclose who it was for.

On April 22nd, the Instagram made a post announcing the ticket sales using a promotional photo from 2021 that had been made for the concert the real Zhang Zhehan had been planning prior to 813. This post did not include a link for purchasing; including links to purchases increases the chance of Instagram checking an account for fraud activity.

The production company for the concert is partnered with CAPA.

Seat prices went up to 16,000 baht ($465 USD / 3200 RMB) and went on sale on April 22nd. As a comparative, the BTS member Suga held a concert with VIP tickets pricing at 6200 baht.

Within hours, scam believers were saying that tickets had sold out, but on the actual purchasing site they were instead listed as not available (ie. reserved for sale by scalpers). On May 3rd, these reserved tickets that had not been sold were made available again with less than half sold.

On April 23rd, it was announced via the Instagram that an additional concert would be held on 05-10 due to “popularity”. (As I write this, I realize that it’s odd for them to book 05-10 rather than 05-12 since it means those first comers who bought tickets for 05-11 would not get to be the first ones to see “him”.) Tickets for this became available the following day and “sold out” within ten minutes only to become available again; it’s likely this was just a glitch.

On April 24th, a promotional video was posted for the concert using only footage from 2021 (same context as mentioned above).

Some tickets had been available as a “tour package” through a company that had a history of scamming customers. On April 26th, the tour package’s name was changed then deleted from the company’s website. On April 30th, the Taobao shop selling these packages was closed without refunds and over 400 people who had made purchases had their information leaked. Some people who purchased these packages were later left stranded at the airport for hours when they arrived.

On May 5th, the Weibo Supertopic used by scam believers, which had been filled with people reselling tickets and encouraging others to fake information for travel visas, was deleted. The following day, “official” accounts directed users to a new Supertopic that was created less than 15 minutes after the previous one disappeared despite it taking 1-3 days for Supertopics to be approved. This new Supertopic was made private on May 9th then deleted as well on May 10th.

On May 6th, photos were posted to the Instagram of “Zhang Zhehan” in what appeared to be Thailand. The following day several photos and a video were spread of “chance encounters”, originating from accounts that did not belong to fans.

The scam gang requested that people who had bought VIP tickets provide their home addresses so they could be sent tshirts and light sticks, four days prior to the first concert date. Have fun getting doxxed, I guess.

On May 8th, a new song was released to streaming sites by the scam gang despite it being only two days before the first concert. As a comparative, for his mini-concert to promote his Another Me EP in October 2020, Zhang Zhehan released only two of the three songs for streaming prior to the concert, leaving the third song 不说 to be debuted at the concert before releasing for streaming.

On May 9th, several photos and a video were posted by paparazzi of the venue being set up. It was noted that workers present in these photos were fully dressed despite there being a heatwave with outside temperatures climbing to over 40°C; it’s uncommon for AC to be on during set up, though not impossible.

On the same day, a figure fully covered in sweats and a hoodie was filmed entering the venue for rehearsals. Again: heatwave.

May 10th

The venue looked less than half full less than ten minutes before the set start time.

Chinese CPFs keeping track of things concluded that three different impersonators were likely used, with one possibly being a woman. There were visible differences in the nose, jawline, eyebrows, Adam’s apple, butt, and stature. Furthering this, people watching reported that the costume changes were remarkably fast and there were no breaks over the course of 20 song performances (3 hours).

It’s quite likely that the cameras used for the screens inside the venue were using deepfake tech to correct for these mistakes. Yes this can be done live. It was noticed that the screens seemed to noticably lag more than is standard (example, comparison to another concert) and occassionally jumped.

Some of the audience members visible in photos look quite unexcited to be there. It’s possible that people were hired to fill empty seats, especially given that so many were left unsold that they decreased the number of seats physically present in the venue. A number of people looked to be in quite a hurry to leave afterwards. There is hearsay that some of them may have been students who were paid to attend. [translated chatlog between Chinese fans]

About an hour and a half after the concert started, the bought hashtag #Primordial Theater# suddenly appeared on the general Weibo hotsearch, reaching #14 before completely disappearing ten minutes later. Coincidentally, the Weibo administration account made a post shortly afterwards warning about celebrity impersonation fraud.

Around this time, all photos of the concert posted by Ranyi, one of the “official” accounts, were removed by Weibo and the account was later banned for violating community rules. Similar photos and a video were also removed from Xie Yihua’s Weibo accounts.

A whaler who made a post that she shook hands with him at the concert forgot to change her VPN to Thailand, with it instead saying she was in Japan. 🤡

There are rumors that some whalers who attended said it was fake and closed their accounts, I haven’t seen direct evidence of this yet. Also a rumor that one went to the police. Some whalers were reportedly afraid to speak out about what they had seen at the concert because they had given the scam their personal information.

May 11th

There was significantly less posted footage and discussion of this day. Many people who had attended gave excuses such as phones being too low on battery to film, only having blurry photos, wanted to capture the moment with their own eyes, etc.

Videos show that barely anyone in the audience appeared to be singing along to some songs, including Surround.

Comment about the vocals from a trained musician: “The voice doesn't feel open, it feels like it's covered with a layer of veil. Generally speaking, the voice is not clean, and secondly, the breath is not stable, and the voice is obvious. Trembling, as well as out-of-tune and treble, the treble sounds very laborious, and the out-of-tune is also sandwiched between the two notes, and the way of vocalization is not right, it is all in the throat, singing like this is easy to hurt the throat and make it hoarse.” (mtl)

A video and group photo showing Xiao Yu were passed around, with him being visibly too short in relation to “Zhang Zhehan” in the photo.

Again, many of the photos posted by Xie Yihua were removed by Weibo.

VVIP ticket holders (on both days) were able to take photos with Zhang Sanjian afterwards: - Reports from them say that Zhang Sanjian was quite touchy-feely and eager with hugs (😰). If you look at old photos and video of the real Zhang Zhehan, he was always very polite and often kept his hands clasped when taking photos with unfamiliar people. - The attendees were assigned a number so the photos could be sent to them afterwards. Standard practice for celebrity photo ops is that the photos are printed there; being sent later allows time for editing to be done. - It took two weeks for people to be sent their photos. Despite this, some of the editing is... not very good.

Followups

Yahoo! Taiwan published an article talking about the concert, referring to Zhang Zhehan as an “artist who insulted China”.

[Written notes] from a Twitter space discussion about the concert. Main points not previously covered here:

It was learned by Chinese CPFs that any Chinese person who wants to hold a concert outside of China needs to get written permission to do so. There is no evidence that the scam gang did this, and it’s doubtful that someone in Zhang Zhehan’s situation would do so.

If you watch the videos of Zhang Sanjian talking at the concert, it looks very performative, not a real emotional response like what you can see in videos of the real Zhang Zhehan at his past concerts. Especially at a concert after 813 and not seeing his fans for two years, wouldn’t you expect him to get quite emotional?

Likewise, there are enunciation differences and dialectic differences in how Zhang Sanjian spoke.

If the point of the concerts was to make money, they would have started promotions much earlier, it doesn’t make commercial sense to announce it at such short notice. The intent of the concert was to get attention.

Another intent seems to be to try to divide CP fans, similar to how last year they succeeded in dividing haizhe and whalers.

Following the concerts, there was a significant uptick in fans of other celebs harrassing those saying the concerts were fake—especially in c-ent fan culture, fans of other celebs can and will happily take advantage of the scam to eliminate their bias’s competition even if they are aware that it’s a scam.

You all piled into the mini bus and the cameras were there ready to film you all. Everyone was excited but you could tell Hobi’s smile was fake. You pressed your hand to his pulse point to feel his heart rapping away instead his chest.

Once you arrived you could hear the thundering of the cars against the tracks and theme park goers screaming as they whizzed by.

All the boys had different reactions upon arriving: Jungkook grew shyer now you were all in public, trying to shield himself behind Namjoon; Jimin was puffing his chest out trying to psyche himself up for the adrenaline filled afternoon; Yoongi and Hobi were sulking along at the back, as if an invisible rope was tying them to the minibus and preventing them from walking forward; and Tae looked as nonchalant as ever.

Jin was busy talking to one of the cameras while you had another one following you.

“I think they’re all pretending not to be scared” you said, “Suga was confident earlier but now he looks like he’s going to faint”

“That’s because I don’t think I can ride y/n-ie, you have to have more limits when your older” he commented back to you.

You turned back to the camera.

“I’ve rode a lot of rollercoasters before so I think I’ll be fine but I’m worried about our oldest member…”

“Yah! Who are you calling old?!” Jin appeared from right behind you. “Just because I’m the eldest doesn’t mean my bones are too brittle to ride a rollercoaster”

“But Yoongi-ssi said he’s too old to ride so you must be as well”

“Aish… the disrespect from youngsters these days” Jin said shaking his head and scooping you up by the middle.

“Ahhhh put me down… Hobahhh… Jungkookie… minieee… someone help me” you flopped against him as your pleas went in one ear and out the other.

All the boys were laughing at your predicament while Hobi didn’t even notice being too busy lost in the music of a merry-go-round tune playing in the background, dancing the robot while twerking.

After Jin put you down it was time to ride and you and the golden maknae were first up on a giant swinging ride. Of course, it wouldn’t be as fun without an extra challenge you and Jungkook made up by yourselves, so while jk held the go-pro camera you decided what faces you were gonna pull with each swing of the ride. You could feel the rumble of butterflies in your stomach as the ride picked up to swing forward.

You instinctively clutched onto his arm as you rose higher.

“Don’t be scared y/n-ie I’m right here”

“I’m not scared” you said while you tucked yourself in closer to his side, hiding your face.

“Aish look at the camera silly we have to make our first face so ami can laugh” he said loudly over the whoosh of the wind in both your ears.

You didn’t see until the final cut of the footage was made but you and Jungkooks clips were hilarious and had all of bangtan rolling on the floor. Even you could admit you looked ridiculous. Jungkook was smiling and sticking his tongue out, doing an arched eyebrow and laughing at you for barely looking up at the camera.

The only matching face you and Jungkook managed to do was when he copied the expression you made when you screamed into the camera.

“Not a word about this to the hyungs/oppas, Jungkook” you said huffily, stepping off the ride.

Jungkook was too busy laughing at you to promise anything but he soon quickly switched targets as you spotted Jin and Yoongi walking your way.

“Yahh, hyung what happened to your hair” Jungkook giggled and ruffled Yoongis messed up hair only to be swatted away.

“We need the hair stylist stat,” Jin said walking away dramatically but jokingly.

“I can fix your hair Jinnie!” you volunteered.

“We need to go on more rides, we can fix hair later” Yoongi grumbled while you tried to get one strand on his head to stop sticking out at a weird angle.

The go-pro camera was now in your hands. Jimin, Tae and Jungkook had wandered away and you were now standing with all your hyungs/oppas. The line for the next ride was huge so you decided to pass the time by performing a mock interview.

“Namjoon-ssi, how are you feeling about the rides today”

“Ah, I’m liking them so far but I’m getting hungry” he said coolly.

“And who is paying for your meal after the theme park today?”

“Hmm… I think the dongsaengs should pay for teasing their elders all day”

“Hey!” you said breaking character, pouting while the four boys nodded and snickered.

“I think we’ve heard enough from you Namjoon-ssi” you got back into character, turning to your next interviewee.

“Yoongi-ssi, can you tell us what your feeling as you look at the height of this ride”

“I’m feeling… nothing to be honest”

“Insightful words from the genius of bangtan seonyeondan… though I think your not telling the truth because your palms are sweaty”

“Stop telling ami about my palms” Yoongi said with his pretend indignant look.

“Perhaps the final member of rapline will have more to say” you said turning to Hobi.

“I feel very confident but I wish there was a bathroom closer to here” he giggled nervously, jumping up and down to shake his nerves.

“Don’t tell ami about your toilet habits, Hobah” Yoongi said again.

“What are we allowed to tell ami then hyung?” Namjoon said laughing, making everyone including Yoongi giggle out of their composure.

“Finally, Seokjin-ssi…”

“Yah I told you not to call me Seokjin, y/n-ie, I feel like I’m getting scolded”

“I’m not y/n, I’m an unknown interviewer” you narrowed your eyes towards him, adamant to stay with the bit.

“If you’re a stranger then I should call security”

“There’s no need, your production team know about me Seokjin-ssi”

“Aish… again” he mumbled, with a faux-annoyed expression.

“Jinnie-oppa/hyung” you proclaimed cutely to make him laugh.

“That’s better,” he agreed nodding, returning to the bit now with focused brows “continue with your interview”

“Do you have any advice for ami, what should they prepare to come to a theme park?“

“Hmm… I think ami should bring there own food because everything here is too expensive” he said thoughtfully to the camera.

“Unless you get a senior discount” you said with as straight a face as you could manage.

“Aish… the interview is over”

Your group reunited with the maknaes and as they had gotten enough footage of each member on the rides, production announced filming was over and it time was to eat.

You’ve never seen Hobi looking more relieved in his life. Jungkook was going on and on about how scared all the members were on the ride. You didn’t ride one with Tae but he was adamant he wasn’t scared and Jimin said he could go on them all again with no problem.

Thankfully, Jungkook didn’t squeal about how you were actually cowardly on the big rides but your pretty sure the older members saw you buried into Namjoons side on the final ride. They just decided not to tease you, everyone was too tired to joke now you thought.

The staff had found a good Korean food restaurant not too far from the theme park and that’s where you all sat now. There were no cameras but the staff were nearby in the surrounding tables.

“Did I make too many old jokes today, oppa/hyung?” you asked Jin feeling slightly guilty.

“Of course not y/n-ie, they make ami laugh so they make me laugh too”

“I’m never going to a theme park again” Hobi said in between slurping up a spoonful of soup broth.

“What about Disneyland, hyung? You said we could go…” Jungkook looked on with his wide boba eyes.

“Yes but I can only eat the snacks and go on the small rides, kook-ah. Take jimin on the rollercoasters since he’s so confident now”

“Only if y/n-ie comes too” Jimin said.

“I’ll stay with Hobah” you mumbled into your bowl of soup.

“I’ll come to Disneyland. But right now we need more rice and kimchi and bulgogi” Tae said looking at the table, unsatisfied with the spread.

“There’s plenty to share, taehyung-ah” Yoongi said.

“Yes but I’m sure after experiencing lots of adrenaline you need to bulk up your meals to calm down once again”

“Is that a scientific fact?” Jimin asked laughing.

“I don’t know” said namjoon “but food is always good”

“We should get some naengmyeon to cleanse our stomachs then and we can get some more pork belly… it’ll be my treat”

Everyone cheered for Yoongi, and you ended the day with full stomachs and lots of laughs. You couldn’t wait for ARMY to see the episode and were even more excited to film again.

For ever & Evers…

Payton, Venus & Zora are the Evers Sisters. They were raised in a loving home and did almost everything together growing up. Love is such a basic word to describe what they have for each othe. The sisters even investmented in their first home together. Now they are on their own ready to take on the world… or at least Evergreen Harbor.

Payton 24

The most introverted out of the group but is always willing to have fun with her sisters. She loves plants (even though her thumb isn’t so green, maybe yellow), yoga, meditating and reading. “The brain is powerful but it needs its fuel” is what she always yelps to her sisters and their friends when they tease her for being “boring”. As a teacher’s aide she feels accomplished after every shift. Children are not in the cards but she adores them. In her free time she likes focusing on a cross-stitch or puzzle and she always finds time for her boo Luke (that her parents know 0 about, I might add).

Venus 22

They call her “money hungry” and she’s okay with that. If there’s a hustle, Venus is willing to try it. At the moment she’s looking for a sugar daddy or mommy… or both? Her girlfriend Ky (Kyla) isn’t into it though. If she goes through with the arrangement she may lose her forever. But she’s Venus, Ky can’t leave someone like her, that’s just stupid (her words not mine). As a medical assistant she gets the job done but she’d rather have passive income funding her lifestyle. She dreams of visiting Sulani, Tortosa and Selvadorada before aging up and you have to have the simoleons for that!

Zora 20

As a super extrovert and loving girl Zora makes ALL of the friends. She wants to host the best parties and simply enjoys seeing people happy. If it’s a Saturday night, best believe, she is using her fake ID to get into the hottest club(s). But don’t worry her 21st is coming up and it’s going to be lit! Her older sisters are her world and there’s nothing she wouldn’t do for them. Her best friend Jay is her go to person outside of family. They talk about everything! They talk on the phone or chat while gaming online or in person. There may be something there but why risk losing someone you can’t go a day without?

Part One Here

You and Suga agreed to go on your first date right after the latest award show and you were excited. You were promoting at the moment so couldn't wait for a nice night to blow off steam. You just had the show to get through and as you walked out of your dressing room to go to the bathroom and bumped straight into NCT, something told you it was going to be a journey getting there.

You saw the boys from NCT at the same time that they saw you and you both paused. It never felt chill when you saw them but this was definitely more awkward than usual. Back when you and Taeyong had been together all the boys were friendly with you and you knew them all well. There was always one of them calling Taeyong at odd hours or turning up at his or yours because they were stressing about something or needed advice. You never minded and liked the boys but looking back on it, even when Taeyong was with you his work followed him. When you broke up the boys didn't know what to do with you. They'd avoided you mainly but then when you started hooking up they were friendly again and would all chat with you. Now you guessed you were back to being ignored so took a breath and prepared to pass them. You couldn't see Taeyong and it looked like it was just NCT127 which was nice because you really didn't want 20+ guys staring at you.

You put your head down as you got closer when suddenly you heard your name. You looked up and saw Johnny and Doyoung smiling at you. "Hey, how are you?" Johnny asked and you paused before going over. "I'm good, how are you guys?". "Oh we're fine" Johnny said and Doyoung said "I like your hair". "Really?" you asked "I wasn't sure if I could pull off pastels" and then you began chatting about hair colours and some of the other members joined in. It was nice and you were really touched that the guys were still friends with you. Then Taeyong appeared. You froze wishing the ground would swallow you up at how awkward this would be...but then Taeyong smiled.

As always, his smile made you feel like everything in the world was okay and you relaxed.

"Hey Y/n" he said coming closer "guess who they're making go down that weird podium in the middle of the stage?" he asked and you smiled "you?". Taeyong nodded "yup" and the boys all began to point out that he was the leader and it should be him. Taeyong joked back with them and you smiled watching them all banter for a while before Taeyong turned and the angle made him look so beautiful. You immediately blushed and looked down trying to hide your thoughts but it had been almost instinctive! You'd just see Taeyong and wanted him, he didn't have to do anything he just looked so good to you and you realised he probably always would. You sighed and Taeyong heard you and looked over. You felt his eyes on you and quickly looked away "I have to go, see you later" you called and walked away.

Taeyong watched you go with a frown. He could tell you were upset, he knew you so well he only had to see your eyes to figure that out and he wanted nothing more than to rush after you and comfort you. But he wasn't your boyfriend and he was probably the last person you'd want to see so he let you go and focused on his group but that was easier said than done. For the rest of the night, Taeyong couldn't get you out of his mind. To be fair you were never far from his mind but seeing you earlier definitely amplified that and Taeyong spotted you in every room without even trying. That's why he noticed Twice leave without you. He frowned wondering if they'd forgotten you and was craning his neck to see better when he heard one of his members gasp slightly. It was Doyoung and Heachan rushed to hit him and then shot Taeyong a very fake smile. Something was wrong and he started scanning the area when Johnny called "no!" but it was too late. Taeyong's eyes had landed on you and Suga, walking away together. Suga opened the door for you and you disappeared into the night together.

Taeyong recalled you were producer friends and he'd always thought Suga looked at you a little too brightly for it just to be a friendship. Apparently, he was right because you didn't even come to the after-party where all your other members were. You and Suga had gone off together and Taeyong tried not to imagine what you were doing together. Taeyong had no idea that was your first date and in his mind, you'd moved on the second you left him. "Hey stop it" Taeil said to him and he blinked "stop what?". "Torturing yourself over Y/n. For all we know they're collaborating over a song together and it's just work". "They'd really do work at 12am on a Friday after an award show?" Taeyong asked. Taeil shrugged "we've worked worse hours" but he looked down and Taeyong knew Taeil didn't believe his own words. "The point is, we have no idea what's going on" Johnny took over "so there's no use stressing over it". Taeyong sighed "I should just go home, I'm not feeling this". "Want me to come with you?" Mark asked and Taeyong shook his head "I want to be alone but thanks" and headed off, the guys watching him with a worried expression on his face.

"Why did they break up again?" Jungwoo asked once Taeyong had gone and Jaehyun shook his head "Taeyong never really said, just that Y/n got tired of how things were". "What does that even mean?" Mark asked and Taeil shrugged "well how much could they have seen each other? Taeyong was always the first one to arrive in the morning and the last one to leave. Maybe they just didn't have time together". "That sucks" Haechan said and Mark laughed but Haechan didn't smile. "I'm serious, that's gotta be the most painful reason to break up. Not because you don't love one another or have grown apart but you can't be together". "Why can't they?" Doyoung asked and Haechan frowned and went to explain again but Doyoung shook his head. "No I know the reason but can't we do anything to help him? Take some of his work from him or something?". Johnny shrugged "that's not a bad idea". "Yeah but Taeyong's a perfectionist" Jaehyun pointed out "would he even let us?". "Maybe...for Y/n" Jungwoo said and the guys all paused. Surely if anything would motivate Taeyong it was you. "If she's not with Suga" Mark said and all the guys winced but it was true, that could be the fatal flaw in their plan.

Meanwhile, you were across town on your date with Suga.

So far it was going really well. Suga looked amazing and had made you laugh the whole car ride here. You were on your third drink and were feeling a little affected by the alcohol, that's probably why you flinched so hard when you saw a guy who looked like Taeyong walk in. Suga noticed and looked around "what?" when he saw the guy standing near the door and he frowned "do you know him?". You shook your head "no he just looks like someone I know and I thought it was him". Suga nodded and inspected the guy "he kind of looks like Taeyong" and you blinked in shock. Suga smirked "is that who you thought it was?". "Yes actually" you laughed and Suga smiled "but aren't you two friends, why would you be anxious to see him". You paused "I guess we're friends but it's complicated". Suga smiled "I think I can guess how". "He was the guy I was involved with" you said and Suga nodded "I thought it might be him, so you dated, broke up and then got back together?". You shook your head "we were still broken up we just fell back into old habits". Suga nodded "I get that it happens, I saw the two of you chatting earlier and you seemed like friends. That's good". You nodded "we're on good terms but I can't ever imagine being friends with him it's too..." you were going to say painful but decided against it. "It's just not a good idea" you said and Suga nodded "fair enough" and he changed the conversation.

You had a few more drinks and then Suga made sure you got home and walked you to the door. You had a kiss goodnight and walked in very excited to tell your members. They were all waiting up for you and screamed when you told them you'd kissed Suga. You told them all the details of the date and they gushed over everything from Suga complimenting your producer skills to him letting you connect your phone to his car to play what you wanted. You smiled brightly as you told them everything and the girls were genuinely thrilled for you. You'd left out the biggest thing though...although the kiss was good it wasn't as good as your kisses with Taeyong. They didn't compare to his kisses and you didn't stop thinking about Taeyong the whole time.

You hoped the Taeyong effect, as you were calling it in your head, was just a product of him being your most serious boyfriend. When your brain thought of romance, love, sex or anything along those lines it thought of Taeyong. It was a habit which your brain had learned but habits could be changed and the brain could learn new connections. So you carried on dating Suga and tried to re-enforce to your brain that this was your new relationship now. This was the new go-to when it thought of anything romantic and it seemed to be working. Suga was impressive, cool and hot. Dates with him were always special and he made you smile a lot. You were sometimes in awe of him and you felt that as you watched him in the producer's booth.

Suga had invited you over to his home studio so he could show you some things and just to hang out. The second you walked in you were impressed because Suga had the high-tech stuff, technology you didn't even have at your official recording studio. You asked Suga to show you how it worked and he gave you a quick demo and played around making some random song to show you. You watched as he plunked notes and a beat out of thin air and were so impressed. He demonstrated all the cool stuff he could do with his technology and had actually created a song by the end of it! Suga was enjoying himself so didn't realise you'd gone quiet until a minute later. "Y/n?" he asked realising you hadn't spoke and he turned to see you staring at him with a very serious expression. "Wow you're so good" you said and Suga smiled because you looked turned on.

"I am huh?" he asked coming closer and you nodded "you just made a song to show me how your tech works, like that wasn't a song you'd been working on or anything right?". "Nope" Suga said and you shook your head "you're actually amazing, how are you that good? I've never met anyone as talented as you and it's so...". "Hot?" Suga asked and you smiled "took the words right out of my mouth". "Funny" Suga said looking you up and down "that's exactly what I was going to say to you" before kissing you.

You and Suga had kissed before but this was a lot more passionate because you were both excited. So the kiss turned more and more needy and you loved it. Suga was decisive and knew what he wanted which was a quality you loved. You were enjoying yourself but as things started progressing you began to become very self-aware of the situation and exactly what Suga was doing because the only guy you'd been with recently was Taeyong. You were familiar with Taeyong and enjoyed being with him and your brain was confused what was going on and why Taeyong wasn't the one here with you. Suga had different moves and although they were good they were new and it took you a second to process that. Suga noticed your hesitation and paused "are you okay?". You nodded "yeah I'm good keep going" but the second Suga continued you flinched. You reacted on instinct and slightly pushed Suga away from you.

He froze as did you and he quickly moved back from you "are you sure you're okay?" he asked. "I'm fine, I'm fine" you said "I don't think I can sleep with you tonight but I think it's just because I haven't been with anyone but Taeyong in a while" you said "it's just a learning process, I'll get it eventually" you said and Suga smiled. "Y/n you're not meant to learn to like someone, it should already be there". You blinked "no but I do like you! You're cool, hot, funny, sweet and so nice" you said "please don't let this convince you I'm not into you". Suga looked at you unsure but his expression wasn't unkind. "See I have no doubt you like me and do think I'm attractive" Suga agreed "I can see that much in your eyes but I don't think that means you're into me or want me. Partly because it's just not there but also because you want Taeyong".

You blinked shocked to hear Suga say that. That thought had been lingering in the back of your mind for a while but hearing someone say it aloud shocked you, let alone Suga. "I...that's preposterous! I ended it with him, we broke up over a year ago". "I know" Suga said "but you two clearly had a good connection and something special. Just because it's not logical to want him doesn't mean you don't want him. The heart's emotional not logical". You sighed "but I don't want to want him! It didn't work and those problems won't just go away! I want to want you!" you cried and Suga could tell you were upset. He gently approached you and hugged you which made you burst into tears.

Suga soothed you and calmed you down. A few minutes later you pulled back and sighed "I'm sorry for wasting your time". "Don't be silly!" Suga said "you did no such thing, I enjoyed spending time with you and you don't owe me anything by dating me". You smiled "see you're the perfect guy!" and Suga laughed. "Just not for you" he said softly "and I don't know what the issues between you and Taeyong were but I think if you both want this badly enough you'll find a way. You can do it".

Suga's words stayed on your mind constantly. You had no idea if they were true and part of you was terrified to find out. Plus it wasn't like Taeyong was just waiting for you with open arms...or so you thought.

Taeyong had been in a worse state than even lately. The guys noticed how he didn't seem to sleep. He'd be the last one to get home and the first one gone in the morning. He threw himself to work to an unhealthy level and his appetite was way down. He soon started losing weight and didn't have his usual sparkly smile. He forced it on stage but the guys could see this wasn't something he could healthily maintain and so they decided to sit their leader down and tell him their plan.

Taeyong rushed through the door and started calling for his members. "Johnny, Taeil, Doyoung?" he called before running into the living room and stopping dead in his tracks. All the members were sat there, calmly waiting which wasn't what Johnny's "SOS GET HOME NOW!" text had suggested was happening at home. "What going on?" Taeyong asked "what's wrong?". "Nothing's wrong hyung he just need to talk to you" Haechan said and Taeyong frowned "I was in the middle of work, what's so important I had to rush home to talk about it?" he asked. "You" Doyoung said simply.

"We've noticed how unhappy you've been" Johnny said "and we know it's because you miss Y/n". Your name immediately made Taeyong freeze up and he sighed "this is about Y/n? There's no use talking about her. She doesn't want me and we're done". "But that first bit isn't true" Taeil said "Y/n never stopped wanting you, the problem has always been she wanted more than you could give. You weren't around enough to properly spend time with her". "So?" Taeyong asked "differing words don't change the meaning. She's not here and can't be". "Why?" Mark asked "surely if things changed you could be with her". "Yes" Taeyong nodded "but for that to happen I'd have to leave NCT and do you guys want rid of me that badly?". That was met with a chorus of disagreeing voices. "No of course not!" Jungwoo cried and Jaehyun shook his head "that's not what we're saying". "We just want to help you" Yuta said and Taeyong looked at him "help me? But how can any of you help me with that? You can't date Y/n for me". Yuta smiled at the idea "we're not suggesting that hyung but how about we help you out so you actually have time to date her?". "Help me out?" Taeyong asked and Johnny nodded "you do so much hyung but there are a lot of us, let us help you and then you can get your girl". "What would you help with?" Taeyong asked and all the guys started giving suggestions making Taeyong realise they were taking this seriously and had put thought into this.

"Guys this is all really sweet but I think we're overlooking one thing. Y/n's moved on. She's dating Suga and if I'm honest I saw it coming. They always got on and he's her type. She doesn't want me so thank you for everything but I won't be needing your help". "But hyung we have to do something to help you" Jungwoo said and Taeyong smiled "I know I've been pushing it lately and I will try and reign it back in". "Well on that note then how about we take the afternoon off and rest? You need a good meal and an afternoon with your friends". Taeyong paused as he had a million things he wanted to do back at work but he heard his friends' concerns so nodded. "That sounds great" and all the guys cheered.

Once again your Twice members only had to look at you when you got back from Suga's studio to know something had happened. The story spilt out of you and you told them everything from still wanting Taeyong and how that made you feel like such an idiot. "Y/n you're not an idiot for loving someone" Nayeon said and you looked at her "aren't I? For loving someone I can't have? Not to mention for not being able to love a much more suitable guy". "Y/n you can't force yourself to love someone nor should you" Jeongyeon said "and the fact you still love Taeyong...maybe it does mean something". You rolled your eyes "Taeyong's not going to change overnight. There's no use going down that road and I don't want any more pep talks". "Fine" Jihyo said and you blinked shocked she wasn't going to try. Jihyo knew you really just meant you were scared and didn't know how to say that. She challenged you and kept eye contact with you until you folded. "How do I even...what am I meant to do?" you asked tears forming in your eyes and Jihyo caught you in a hug.

The girls comforted you the best they could but you were still terrified and had no idea what you could do if anything. So you fell into a rut. The girls had never seen you so monotone and you avoided everything you could. Work, friends, anything social...you hid yourself away as if giving up. Nothing the girls could do could get you out of your slump and they were worried about you. "Do we talk to Taeyong?" Tzuyu asked and Dahyun shook her head "and say what? We can't betray her trust like that". "Well what if we didn't tell him anything?" Mina asked "what if we just brought the two of them together". "To do what?" Momo asked and Mina shrugged "to see one another. I remember before Taeyong could tell just from looking at Y/n if she had a cold or was okay, stupid stuff like that. Maybe he'll see she's hurting and help?". "It's worth a shot" Sana agreed and Jihyo sighed "time for some tough leader love then. What's the next event where NCT will be present?". Nayeon quickly scanned their schedule and came back with some charity event taking place next week. "Perfect" Jihyo said and taking a breath, she made her way to your room.

You hadn't fought Jihyo when she said you had to be at this event but you weren't happy. Luckily they had a free bar which you were making full use of. You were on your third drink when you spotted Taeyong. He was surrounded by his boys and you could barely see him but still he caught your eye. You looked away as if it burnt and headed in the opposite direction but Taeyong just followed you.

He followed you through another room but lost you in the ballroom. He sighed confused when he felt someone next to him "hey Taeyong, are you okay?" Jihyo asked. He nodded "yeah I'm okay I was just wondering how Y/n was. I saw her and was about to come over but she ran off". Jihyo nodded "I saw her come through here and was going to head over to her but then I saw you. She's outside over there" she said pointing to some doors. Taeyong hesitated "should I go? She looked upset". "I think there's some things you need to discuss" Jihyo said carefully and Taeyong paused "oh okay" and then hurried through the doors.

"I'm fine Jihyo!" you said when you heard the doors open and heard a chuckle follow. "Wow am I glad I'm not Jihyo, the way you said her name could kill" Taeyong said and you spun around "Taeyong I...sorry I thought you were someone else". "Yes Jihyo, what did she do to deserve such anger?". You sighed "it's complicated but I kind of don't want to talk about it". Taeyong nodded "okay well do you mind if I sit with you?" he asked recalling how to get you to open up to him he usually gave you time to feel comfortable and soften. You nodded to him and sat in quiet for a few minutes before you spoke "I've just been in a terrible mood lately and a bit of a slump. I'd love a night off from it". Taeyong smiled "well why not take a night off?". You looked at him with raised eyebrows "yeah I'd love that but it's not so easy to opt out of a bad mood". Taeyong smiled "I know trust me but you know the best medicine to help? Alcohol".

Despite you explaining you'd already drank and didn't feel anything Taeyong blamed it on your "super-human" tolerance and insisted on doing shots. He returned with a whole tray full and an hour later they were all gone and you were feeling better...Taeyong probably had something to do with that too.

He had experience working you out of moods and you smiled more with him than you had all week. "It's so horrible too!" you cried "because I know I'm being moody and mean to my members but I can't help myself" you admitted, "like I have this self-destructive desire or something". Taeyong shook his head "you're not a self-destructive person Y/n. You're just having a shit time and you're allowed to have a shit time! You don't always have to be cheery and happy you know?". "Huh, I never thought of it like that" you admitted and Taeyong smiled "good thing I'm here right?". You nodded before looking down "yeah but not at all the time". Taeyong paused "well I can be, you have my number and if you ever need me Y/n you only have to call. I'd be there in a heartbeat". You nodded but knew you'd never do that. it would be a slippery slope and would lead to your craving Taeyong more and just falling for him all over again...as if you'd ever fallen out of love with him.

"What is it?" Taeyong asked noticing you were hard in thought and you shook your head "do you ever feel like fate fucked us over?". You didn't swear too much, Taeyong recalled you probably only swore twice the whole time you were together and so hearing you say fuck made him laugh. He chuckled and nodded "a little, why? Do you?". You nodded "majorly" and Taeyong nodded "why? I agree but why". You sighed "because no matter how hard I try all I want is you".

Taeyong sat up taller and was jolted awake like you'd passed electricity through him. "What?" he asked and you sighed again. "We tried dating and it didn't work. We tried hooking up but that didn't get us anywhere. I've tried dating other guys but it didn't work. Suga was perfect too. Good looking, successful, similar interests, impressive and so hot but I couldn't... with him. It just felt wrong" you confessed. "So you're not together?" Taeyong asked and you shook your head "see what I mean? Why would the world attract me to you but make you so unattainable". "I'm not unattainable Y/n I'm right here" Taeyong said and you shook your head as he came closer "Taeyong we've been here before". "No we haven't" he said grabbing tour hand "Y/n I want you, I need you, there will never be anyone for me except you". "But we didn't work" you said and Taeyong shook his head "well things are different now. Work is a lot more relaxed, I can finally be the boyfriend you deserve". "But what happens if it gets busy again, things will just go back to how they were" you said walking away but Taeyong followed you. "Even if they do, I've discussed it with the guys and they've agreed to help me". "What?" you asked and he nodded "to be completely honest they came up with the idea. They noticed I'd been miserable and worked out why we broke up. When they did that they also decided to do something about it. They all came to me with suggestions of how they can help". "Really?" you asked in quiet disbelief and Taeyong nodded smiling softly "Johnny offered to make sure the sessions start and end on time, Mark's happy taking the lead on rap sections, Jaehyun will help coordinate all our stylist appointments, Taeil said he'll step up and do any promotions I can't, Doyoung said he'd make sure everyone was out of the house time, Yuta will assist with Japanese pronunciations, Jungwoo is going to keep everyone motivated and Haechan promised not to misbehave". You smiled "that's so sweet of them" and Taeyong nodded "it is....Y/n after you broke stuff off I just assumed we wouldn't work too but when all the guys started coming up with those ideas I realised it was possible and I wanted to fight for you". "Why didn't you say anything before?" you asked and Taeyang shook his head "I thought you were with Suga and wanted you to be happy so I thought I'd bow out...but then I saw you tonight and I miss you" he said "I want to be your guy not Suga". "Well I think that's already been decided" you replied and kissed him. The kiss was a long one and you both only pulled away when you had to but still stayed pressed up together, hands clutching each other. "Fuck I've missed you" you said and Taeyong laughed "who the fuck are you and what have you done with Y/n?" making you laugh until he kissed you again and he didn't stop all night.

1 month later "Okay we need to stay late to finish this" a manager said and all the guys began to smile. Taeyong stood up to say his leader speech but the guys beat him to it. "We can't I'm afraid" Taeil said and the manager blinked "you can't?". Johnny nodded "per our contract, we're limited to certain hours a day and we've passed ours today so we'll all be leaving in 20 minutes as agreed". "Per your contracts?" the manager asked "are you really turning into those sort of idols? The one that don't want to work?". "Oh we'll work and we work damn hard" Jaehyun said "but we also know the limits". "We won't break them because there's too much to lose" Doyoung said. the manager shook his head in disbelief and looked to Taeyong. "Are you going to let them do this or be a leader?".

Weeks ago Taeyong would've scolded the boys and said they would stay until the job was finished. This time though he just smiled. "I think the boys couldn't have said it better. Some things are more important than work and money and I will never make that mistake again". The manager knew he'd lost and the boys all got out exactly on time.

"I love this new Taeyong!" Haechan said as they walked out together and their leader smiled. "Yeah he's so much more relaxed and fun!" Mark said before Johnny cut in "and happy! That's the main thing, he's happy". "Oh yeah that too" Mark said and Johnny rolled his eyes.

Taeyong nodded along with Jonhny because it was true he was happier even since he'd gotten back together with you. He just felt balanced and settled for the first time since you'd broken up. He was eating normally again and had already put some weight back on which you were so thrilled with. He was sleeping properly and overall just looked healthier! The boys knew he was happier because he smiled and laughed so much more now. Laughter among other noises were sounds they frequently heard coming from his room and they couldn't be happier for their leader.

"I guess Y/n's just that effective a treatment for sadness" Taeil said and Yuta laughed "duh the person you're in love with works for when you're sad!". "Shhh!" Taeyong said because they'd just come to the square where you were waiting for him. "She can't hear us" Yuta said "plus even if she could she knows you love her". "Yeah but I haven't said it properly to her yet since we got back together and I want it to be special" Taeyong said going even pinker as you waved to him. "But didn't you do that the first time you told her you loved her?". "Yeah but I feel like she deserves another confession, all things considered". "You're so romantic Taeyong" Haechan sighed loudly so you could hear and Taeyong shot him a glare before smiling at you "hey Y/n".

"Hey" you said kissing his cheek "now why are you so romantic? What were you saying about me?". "No reason" Taeyong said and you pouted and turned to Haechan "what was he saying about me?". Taeyong thought the guys would rat him out in a second but they all refused to tell you. "You'll enjoy the surprise, hang in there Y/n" Johnny said and Jungwoo assured you it was worth the wait. You eyed Taeyong skeptically, still pouting until he pulled you to his side and kissed you making you forget to be angry. This was also Taeyong's little trick of getting the boys to go and leave you two alone and it worked because when you opened your eyes they were gone.

The two of you started walking towards a restaurant for your date and you looked at Taeyong "you really won't tell me?". "No!" he said adamantly and you sighed "fine but it better be worth the wait".

It definitely was. When Taeyong told you he loved you again (literally the next day because he couldn't wait longer than that) a calm elated feeling settled over you because you knew this was exactly where you were meant to be all along. You were home.

The Concert {SUGA} pt. 1

I gaped at the large venue. This is where BTS will be having their concert?

A few weeks ago, me and my friend Stacy had somehow managed to get our hands on two BTS tickets. We woke up super early to get them, but hey, here we are! About to see our idols.

"Oh wow... This is amazing! I can't believe we're seeing them in person!!" Stacy said.

"I know.. I wish I didn't feel so tired though. I have this aching feeling in my chest."

"Me too, isn't that what happens when you're near your soulmate? DO YOU THINK-"

"No no no, my heart can't handle even the idea of that," I laugh, "It's probably just allergies. C'mon, let's go find our seats!"

We got to our seats and chatted until the lights dimmed, signaling the concert would be starting soon. The preview video began playing on the screen. Cheers cried out all around us, almost making me forget the aching feeling. Almost. It had become worse, was I really meeting my soulmate? I just want to enjoy the concert, I can't handle trying to find them in the crowd.

"Wait, don't soulmates normally switch-" I was interrupted by music booming from the speakers.

Suddenly, BTS walked out onto the stage. They wave before the first verse, fans screaming all around us. I watched them through my phone screen as they danced to Fake Love. After a few more songs, they leave to change outfits and touch up their makeup. Right as they're about to go behind the stage, Suga turns around to get one last glimpse of the audience, and making eye contact with me in the process. And everything goes dark.

I wake up in a chair in front of the mirror. Rubbing my eyes and adjusting to the bright lighting, I catch sight of my reflection.

"No.., no no no. What? How..." I mutter.

"Yoongi-hyung! Check out this jacket they gave me! It's so sparkly" V calls out to me while giving a slight twirl.

"I... I'm, uh" I try to say.

"Hey um, I don't want to interrupt but I, I switched and uh, I'm not Jimin?" Not Jimin says beside me.

"No way! He switched? Are you jealous Yoongi-hyung? You've been waiting to meet your soulmate for so long now~" V snickers.

"I'm not him either" I blurt out.

"Of course you aren't Jimin" V laughs.

"No, I mean I switched too. My name is Y/N"

"OMG! Y/N?! It's me! Stacy!"

I jump up and hug her, still feeling dazed from the sudden switch.

"I can't believe we both switched at the same time!"

"I know! And this works out so well! Suga being your bias and Jimin being mine" She giggles.

"Um, why are Yoongi-hyung and Jimin hugging?" RM asks, walking into the room.

"It's not them! It's Stacy and Y/N, was it?" We nod in response before V continues, "They both switched with their soulmates at the same time. Crazy, huh?"

"Wait, but what are we supposed to do about the concert?" Stacy/Jimin asks.

We're interrupted by a phone buzzing on the table. I pick it up and recognize my own phone number.

"H-hi? Is this my soulmate? Or me... this is so weird" I hear my own voice tell me.

"yeah... I guess we're soulmates" I try to sound nonchalant.

"You don't sound very excited for someone who just got switched with her bias" he teases, "I can see your phone background, you know. Plus you're at our concert."

I mentally facepalm.

"So, about the concert," he starts.

"How long is the effect supposed to last for?" I ask.

"For me it was about an hour" RM says. I turn the phone to speakerphone so Suga can hear.

"Well, I can't exactly dance... or rap" I mumble in embarrassment.

"Didn't the staff prepare a plan in case this happened?" Suga asks.

We talk out the details together and with the staff. The concert can't be cancelled, since people payed a lot to be here. We also can't let five members go out without the rest of us. They decided to move the solo performances up and keep both me and Stacy backstage until we switch back.

While they performed, me and Stacy were too excited to watch, even though that was what we came here to do. We talked about how surprised we were and what we were going to do, plans of getting Korean lessons, worries, etc. Before we knew it, the aching came back and we switched.

Here we were again in the crowd, watching as they finished up the last solo performance. When Jimin and Suga finally came out, they had the biggest smiles on their faces. And so did we.

his boss said to him as he puffs out a smoke.

" you should give me some challenging tasks sometimes, k!lling a president of a company makes me bored, you know? " he smirked while the man smiled at him.

" I did not regret hiring you " he said which made suga scoff.

" I did not plan to work for you, all I need here is the money " he puffs out more not giving any ounce of respect to the man infront of him.

" why are you asking for more money, we gave you a black card. " the man said, getting annoyed but suddenly his face was clashed against the wall behind his head.

seriously, this man is fvcking loud.

" you fvcker, of course I deserved that card. as much as I enjoy blasting other peoples head if you piss me off even more I wouldn't mind blasting your head instead. "

" you're crazy, it's only because the boss favors you that's why I hadn't shot my bullets to your body! " suga smirked as he shoved his gun through the man's head.

" you're seriously pissing me off, y'know " he shot the man through his head as the blo*d splashed through his face.

" such a fvcking waste, could've donated the bl0od to the hospital instead " he smiles as he wipes his face.

a few minutes later a lot of body guards came and saw the blo*d and the corpse on the floor. they immediately dispatched the body as they questioned what happened.

" it's just that he's pissing me off, it's already past my work time, yet he's not willing to give me my paycheck. " the man laughs at him as he touches suga's shoulder.

" just admit it, you enjoy k!lling people before they even pay you " suga smiled as he dropped the cigarette and smashed it in the floor.

" you seriously know me too well, Daichi " as the office was cleaned again they chatted a few more and bid their goodbyes.

" the boss was the one who requested to give you this. they may have taken a liking towards you. " daichi said as suga just shook his head.

" oh I almost forgot, the boss requests to see you. " suga doubted for a minute. it's his first time to see the boss, but he showed no worry after a while and decided to come with daichi.

after almost 30 minutes of driving, they arrived in front of a big building and as they entered they were escorted with at least four body guards, making sure that they are safe.

after going through the elevator, they arrived to the boss office and as they got infront of the wide door they were stopped.

" the boss only requests to see agent wolf. " the man strictly said as daichi just nods and took a step back.

as the door opened, suga walked cautiously. he stopped in the middle once he saw that very familiar polaroids that are placed in the table.

his wife is not in danger is she?

where did that person get those polaroids of them?

" what the hell did you do to my wife..? " he asked as he thinks about it, his hands in cold sweat as he tries himself not to be nervous. just touch all of his belongings but not his wife.

suddenly, he froze when he heard the person's familiar voice.

" what do you mean? " she turned her chair around as she looked at the surprised man infront of her.

" I AM your wife, suga " she stands up and and leans forward as she whispered in his ear.

We were lucky enough to snag a window booth at the perfect time of the day as the sun was sitting a top the horizon creating an orange hue in the sky. I was mesmerized by it, snaking behind you in order to get the win the seat closest to the glass pane getting an exclamation of 'Hey!!' from you and a chuckle from the men who were previously chatting about Karasuno's current placement in some men's volleyball tournament.

My boyfriend Daichi sat across from me while Suga sat beside him and you were cursed to share a booth with me, however it wasn't like I was paying attention to much since my head was practically resting on the window sill with my eyes glued to the sunset.

"I'm sorry to tell you this Daichi, but if the sky was a person Bunny would leave you for them so fast," Suga teased his friend as he perused the menu.

"I'd like to disagree but," The ex-volleyball captain turned cop sighed shaking his head slowly.

"You can't!! Look at them! They are practically drooling right now!!" You cackled maniacally while gently hitting the table.

"Daichi you literally send me a photo of the sky at least once a day, don't even act like you wouldn't let the personified sky become a third," I teased as I turned back towards everyone with a smirk on my squishy face. Koushi, being the hype man he is, went "OOOOO BURNNNN!" and reached his fist across the plaid cladded table for a fist bump which I gladly gave with my tiny hand.

Your mouth widened in shock as Daichi's tanned face fell into his hands which were propped up by his elbows on the table, "I hate this. This is why we can't have nice things." He murmured.

"You're just mad that they one upped you for once," Kou patted his friends back as he teased him further as if to sooth the blow. But he secretly knew it was more a dig at me, which was totally accurate in facts but I was still irked enough to feign hurt which was comically matched by you who faked shock and protectivness towards me.

Thankfully the bit was cut off by the waitress who had a cheer smile and to tight poneytail, "Hi my name is Sorine and I will be your server today- Can I get you guys something to drink?"

"Yes please, can I have some water to throw at those men over there and a Bellini please?" I asked.

I feel relaxed to see that you are not shipped them blindy and can also see the things which shows jk's two sided behaviour sometimes. Finally i can to talk someone who can think from both sides... postive and negative. He even sat on tae's lap at the concert..so he basically did things for both of the shippers y know. He talks about sugas that that and now hobis work too on seom chat but not a single time he mentions jimin ost...even if his vlive was full of comments for that and after that he doesn't remember where jimin got his 7 tattoo but he remember others. I don't know what to think about but the one is sure that jimin is still behaves the same with him like always...there is no big filter in jimin's behaviour tht shows u that jk and other members are same for him...but with jk..it's a little different case. And i don't like it sometimes.

I promise to always look at all evidence, regardless of how it makes me feel. I’m not interested in deluding myself. There’s plenty of solid instances of Jikook over the years that we don’t need to make things up. But neither should we hold onto the past if the evidence is showing us something different now. So you can always talk to me about Jikook and I’ll give you my honest assessment.

I like to think what separates us from the cult is the ability to think critically and accept reality. And the reality is that something is a little off this year, compared to all the other years. We don’t know why, but a lot of us sense strained vibes.

During the most recent concerts and warm ups, JK kissed Hobi’s cheek, gave a long back hug to Yoongi, wrapped his arms around Joon’s waist in a long hug, played (carefully) with Jin, and also heavily flirted with Tae (twirling, shoe shine moment, lap sit). The first two days were painfully awkward between Jikook (to me). The third day was getting better. The last night—the night they filmed—he was all over Jimin and they did the bridal carry.

I’m not saying it was all for the cameras because I don’t think they are liars or fakes, but if they knew it was the last concert for several years, the maknae line probably wanted to give all their fans various “ship” moments. So I take what happens during a performance with a grain of salt. Not a huge indication of their real life relationship.

More telling is the way Jimin stayed behind while JK worked on the seom game design, or how happy JK was during the Vegas Vlive to say Jimin will be his boxing partner, or the way JK tapped Hobi’s shoulder and silently put him on the floor so he could sit on the couch next to Jimin, plus they stayed so close together while playing games in the arcade in DC. They still chose to orbit each other in free time…

As for talking about Jimin’s OST—keep in mind it was a YamYam production, not a Hybe one like Yoongi’s or Hobi’s. Not sure what the rules are around promotion of outside efforts. No one spoke of it; Tae played it and he knew the melody and lyrics by heart. But no one mentioned “Good job, Jimin! We support you!” And since that would take literal seconds on social media to do, I have to conclude not mentioning it was a conscious decision.

But what’s baffling is that Jimin never once mentioned or promoted With You—except to answer a question in his Weverse article explaining his friend wanted to do something like that with him for years. It has been two months and both Jimin and Sungwoon and everyone around them act like that song never happened. It’s first day was cut short, it wasn’t listed in the proper genre category, it didn’t have an official Spotify artist page or playlisting, it didn’t get much radio play… I have zero clue why. Very off.

It did shake me that JK said he didn’t know Jimin’s solo songs or 7 tattoo placement. Some fans insist he was teasing/deflecting but I hesitate to make assumptions just because I find them more comforting than simply holding the fact in my mind, waiting for more clarification. Taken at his word, JK doesn’t know THE most intimate details of Jimin’s life right now, so that implies distance—physical and emotional.

There seem to be murmurs on K forums that since festa dinner, Jikook have been out to dinner and affectionate with each other, but no proof makes it hearsay. I don’t speak Korean so I’m getting those rumors third-hand.

I think given nine years of intimacy plus an INSANE first half of 2022, I have to withhold judgment about Jikook right now. I’m leaning towards they are fine and still in love but it’s been a crazy few months and they are being quieter while enlistment and solo era firms up. That’s my take thus far!
