So recently, Tumblr broke their ability to follow a reblog chain. This is a problem.

Following a reblog chain now takes you to a popup of that post alone on web, and a permalink view of it alone on mobile.

This is not only a stupid update that nobody asked for, but it also removes a core function necessary for my work here as an archiving blog.

As a blog who collects gifs from deleted blogs, I rely on the ability to go back to people's reblog and then continue to scroll back in time through their blog, where they've likely reblogged more gifs from other deleted blogs! I need this function to do my archiving work, and they've removed it!

And for what? To make things more "intuitive and consistent"?

@staff @changes Please, I am begging you to reverse this update. I can't do my work properly like this. I'm not the only one who's unhappy about this...

you know how people with their pets will have cute aggression because they are just so overwhelmed with how cute their pets are, that they want to harm them? yeah well thats eddie… with steve.

its a very well established fact that eddie will bite steve at any given moment, as a sign of affection. they will be sitting at the dining table together, eating a meal in relative peace outside of these occasional rant, and eddie will just lean down to bite steves arm or sometimes they will be cuddling and he will just squeeze steve really tightly for a few moments, then let go and pretend nothing even happened.

at first steve is confused to say the least, “did you just fucking bite me, eddie!???” but after a few weeks steve just stops reacting completely

they will be out with the kids or with robin, and then he will just bite him. sometimes they’re holding hands, sometimes eddie is listening to steve talk. out of nowhere he will just lean over and bite steve, never enough to draw blood or leave marks just a quick bite. and steve won’t react at all, won’t look over or acknowledge it, he will just keep talking

the kids are like ??????? and the two of them never explain it, it just becomes a thing

the big group of them will just be out in public, and eddie will just randomly go up and bite steve’s arm or his neck or just like literally any part of his body he can reach, and strangers will get confused but before they can do anything about it, the kids just glare at them as if they are the ones who are being weird
