🪡Chapter Thirty: Sleepover

“Should we get butter or sea salt?” Megumi asked you, looking at the shelf in front of you. You looked up from your messages, being faced with both options. “One of each?”

“I like salted better.”

“Does everyone else like salted?” you turned to look at him, seeing him shrug before grabbing both boxes and putting them in the cart. Folding his arms he placed them on top of the cart’s handle, beginning to push it forward.

You followed beside him, “I’m excited to see your acting skills by the way.” You nudged his shoulder with yours, causing him to huff out a breath.

“Don’t expect too much,” he mumbled. “C’mon Megs have some confidence!” Your enthusiasm made him a smile.

“Do we have everything?” he asked, deciding to change the topic. You looked at your phone in hand, going back through Yuji’s messages, you had gotten the popcorn, the fruit, sodas, chips, but you were missing the spray. “Yeah, but Yuji wanted febreeze too.”

“Why?”

“Don’t tell him I snitched, but he burnt the popcorn, which is why he also asked us to stop and get more.”

“Of course he did.”

Megumi hid his face in between your shoulder and neck for about the fifth time in last twenty minutes, mumbling something about not wanting to see himself. You just laughed at his reactions, running your hand through his hair. You leaned both of you against the armrest of the couch, readjusting your plate of snacks in your lap. “Megu you can’t just hide away for the whole movie,” you whispered, trying not to disturb the other three who were currently very invested in their work.

He didn’t give you a verbal response, instead just moving his head to be able to see the screen again.

“I think you’re really great in this,” you told him, having your hand rest on his neck.

“Aw, are you feeling shy Megumi?” Yuji interrupted from the other side of the couch. You looked towards him, only to see Megumi kick him, earning an ‘oomph’ out of his friend.

“Megumi don’t be mean.”

“It’s late you know,” Megumi spoke up. He put a bowl on the dish rack, drying his hands with a towel, then turning to face you. You sat at the kitchen counter, folding the game board up and placing it back in the box. After putting everything away on the box you checked the time on your phone, 1:47 am.

“Wasn’t planning on making you drive anyway,” you placed the phone down. Watching Megumi pick up the board games off the kitchen counter and carry them back to the cabinet they were originally stored in.

“So you planned on staying the night?”

“Well when Yuji announced sleepover I just thought so, yeah,” you replied, looking over to the living room where Nobara took up the large couch, Junpei and Yuji wrapped in blankets and pillows on different parts of the floor.

“Okay, but im not sleeping in the floor.” You gave Megumi a light laugh, already having expected that.

“You don’t have to either,” he mumbled, finally making his way next to you on the kitchen island. “What do you mean?” He just looked at you, hoping you couldn’t tell how he was feeling kind of nervous. “Just, I wouldn’t mind if you wanted to share a bed.”

“Do you snore?” you joked.

“Fine sleep on the floor.”

“Megumi wait, I was joking!” You followed him after he had walked away from your spots in the kitchen.

“Sh, you’ll wake them up,” he whispered, although you highly doubt they would as they didn’t even seem to acknowledge the movement and sound of you guys. “Just c’mon, i’m tired,” he grumbled.

Yuji was the first to wake up, rising from his spot on the floor. His original plan was to go and get food from the kitchen, as even seconds into being awake he was already feeling hungry. However he was distracted when he saw Megumi’s room door open, catching a glimpse of his friend basically draped over you.

Hi Bookwyrm! This was my first yandere request AND first IDW Megs requests, so I was SO excited to build on this combination— and I think it worked out great >:) I hope you enjoy it!

You were truly fascinating.

The first few days of Megatron’s arrival upon the Lost Light were… uncomfortable, to say the least. The multitude of members of the crew were cautious of the former warlord— and at first, Megatron believed it was reasonably so. He was the former leader of the Decepticons, after all, how was anyone to even begin to consider trusting him after millennia of war? Much less put their faith in him as one of the co-captains. Such treatment left a bitter taste in his intake.

But then, you came along.

As a liaison for the planet Earth, you were well aware of all that Megatron had done. How he almost conquered your planet, destroyed your planet— the whole works. The gray bot was certain that this new guest upon the ship was just another face to avoid looking directly at, if he were to spare himself of whatever fearful or disapproving look awaited him. But as time passed, you proved that would not be the case.

Whenever you spoke with him, you never broke eye contact. You never stumbled over your words, never made an on-the-spot excuse to pardon yourself from the conversation. You were kind, polite, decent— more than you could say for any of the inorganic beings upon the ship.

And that behavior aroused something within the mech’s spark.

Perhaps he was deserving of all the sour looks and poor treatment he got. But if there was something he was more deserving of, it was the chance at redemption. And that was something that only you seemed to be willing to give him.

So, he spent more time with you. As much time as he could. You radiated a kindness that Megatron found himself enamored with— an oasis in a desert whose dry conditions the mech had thought he had accustomed himself to. He carried you around in his servos or on his shoulder almost at all times, and to his relief, you never seemed to mind. You never noticed the split second of hesitation that crossed his mind when you asked him to place you down, the ache in his spark that waxed and waned the longer he saw you away from his grasp.

It took everything Megatron had within him to put you down. To let you, the one being who had given him a chance from the beginning, go off on your own.

One day, while you were riding upon his shoulder as he kindly offered to bring you where you needed to go, he had asked you why. Why were you so kind to him, even when he was just about the last mech to ever deserve it? And the way you offered a little chuckle before you spoke made his spark dance in its chamber. “Because,” you had answered in that honey-sweet tone of yours, “I think everyone at least deserves a second chance.”

No one else deserved you. You were so kind it was cloying, yet it was a flavor that Megatron never wanted to forget. He needed it all for himself, and he knew you wanted him too. Why else would you keep spending time with him, if that wasn’t the case?

So when alarms began blaring and warning lights started flashing all over the ship, Megatron wasn’t worried. Well, he was— in the sense that he didn’t know where exactly you were while the ship fell into chaos— but he trusted in the plan he had long since formulated in his helm if a situation like this were ever to arise.

You, meanwhile, were racing through the massive steel halls. Heart pounding in your chest, adrenaline seemingly being the only thing keeping you on your feet right now— you frantically looked to and fro for some kind of hiding place.

You had been told about the Decepticon Justice Division, but outside of the fact that they seemed to be Megatron’s biggest fan club, you really weren’t sure what to expect. But if the sounds of screams and a distant melody was anything to go off of, you at least knew you needed to find someplace to hide and keep yourself safe. As much as it has pained you to sit back and do nothing, you were well aware that, unfortunately, you were the person least capable of helping in this situation. Getting in the way would have done more harm than good.

Eventually, you found yourself in one of the lower engine rooms— a mess of cables and wires strung along the inside of one of the wall panels acting as your hiding place for the time being. Despite you trying to focus on your breathing— anything to calm you down— the earth beneath you trembled rhythmically and the wires around shook in time with it.

Someone was coming.

You tried to bury yourself deeper into the cabling, but eventually the wires became too tight for you to slip through. The most you could do was hide behind a wire and hope it was wide enough to cover you.

As the sound of metal shifting on metal rang ever louder in your ears, you raced through the possibilities in a panic. Was it Kaon? Helex? Oh god, please don’t let it be Tarn—

A shadow finally cast itself over you, and you dared to peek your head around the corner.

A wave of relief washed over you as you were met with a familiar black pede. It was just Megatron. He must have been looking for you to see if you were safe.

“Megatron!” You exclaim, breathing a sigh of relief. “It’s just me. Go, help Rodimus and the others. I’m safe here, I’ll be fine. Find me back here when it’s all over.”

But the mech did not reply. The dark crimson pools of his optics gazed down at you with an expression you weren’t sure you could read. A nervous smile crept onto your face and, in an effort to encourage him to go on and help the crew, you tried hiding behind the wiring again. “I’ll be okay, I promise. We have you to help protect us, after all.”

There was another clanging of metal, the sound of a bot’s hydraulics shifting as they’d move their joints, but it wasn’t growing more distant as you expected. It got closer, and it was only when you caught a split second of his dark servo approaching you that you realized Megatron had knelt down to your level and reached for you.

Digits longer than your own body wrapped themselves around your form, and you’re lifted high into the air. You call out Megatron’s name, trying to get his attention as the pressure of his servo around you begins to crush you in its tight grip. But he doesn’t respond, he doesn’t even cast a glance towards you.

You wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he knew a safer spot, and was bringing you over there himself. But even if that was the case, it didn’t explain why he was being so forceful with you. The warlord walked briskly out of the engine room and turned down the hallway—

Towards where the DJD had broken in.

Every instinct in your body activated all at once, and you started to struggle beneath the massive mech’s hold. You tried your best to wiggle your torso, kick your legs, anything— but his grip around you was much too tight for you to do anything significant against. With how he didn’t even look at you, you weren’t even sure he was noticing your rash moments, your cries for help.

But he was. As Megatron stormed towards the DJD’s ship as it awaited him, it tore him apart to see you so stressed. But the mech knew what he was doing was the right thing. You were so kind to him, you didn’t deserve to run and hide. You didn’t deserve to be at the mercy of such a brutal group of mechs. You deserved a good life, one that only Megatron could provide for you, under his constant watch and protection.

You had spared Megatron from living a torturous existence. Now, he was simply returning the favor. You would be just as grateful to him as he was to you, and he knew you’d eventually come around to see that.

also I'm sorry i keep bringing up chaotic teen Buddy and Megatron, but i love seeing this fucker suffer through forced adoption.

I'm still kinda trucking through the comics, but i know that at some point Megatron is essentially yeeted into a whole ass different dimension and spent 300 years there (i could be totally wrong, if so ignore.) long story short, i have been stuck on the idea of Megatron getting stuck there for 300 years, mourning his funny little human child after 80 years, cause he figures even if he does get back home, they wont still be there.

Luckily for everyone involved, that 300 years was just a few months for the lost light. unluckily for everyone.

Fearless Buddy reaction to Megatron coming back from the other dimension

Buddy had conveniently slept when Megatron had left. Don't blame them, they had been running off of little to no sleep for weeks and their body finally had enough.

Rodimus had to break the news for Buddy.

"What do you mean Megatron is 'gone'?!"--Buddy

"He left, he just up and escaped! But don't worry we'll get him back on board in no time."--Rodimus

"He... He really just left?"--Buddy

"I'm afraid so."--Rodimus

"Well, you know what? Who needs him anyways! The big sorry pile of scrap can go rust in space for all I care!"--Buddy

"Buddy--"--Rodimus

"Who needs him! Thanks for letting me know Roddy, really. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some important things to go over with Whirl."--Buddy

"What important things? What could be more important than this right now?"--Rodimus

"We are going to put a bumper sticker on Minimus saying 'Kachinga'!"--Buddy

"... Carry on!"--Rodimus

Rodimus really wishes now that he had stopped Buddy from making it to Whirl's. The ship had become the two's playground for pranks and sillies.

No one was spared from their wrath.

Many bots on board got mad at the two. But it was the bots closest to Buddy to realize something was deeply troubling them.

Their enthusiasm seemed forced most of the time. Their laughter almost seemed... Robotic almost. And their eyes... they looked so hollow and lacked the usual twinkle they had before.

Whirl appointed himself Buddy's guardian in the meantime. There wasn't much argument there as being Buddy's Amica, it was probably for the best.

Whirl lost count of the amount of times he caught Buddy going into Megatron's habsuite and crying over some of his poems. He wants to hurt Megatron so badly for the pain he inflicted on Buddy. They became Rung's most frequently seen patient after talking with Whirl.

"You really think this is going to help?"--Buddy

"I'm sure of it! If Eyebrows here can stand me, then you'll be like a walk in the park!"--Whirl

"... Thanks Whirl. I mean it, you're the best Amica a friend could ask for."--Buddy

"Hey now, don't get soft on me yet. That's Rung's job. Now get in there and punch those feelings in the face!"--Whirl

The day when Megatron comes back after everything is settled Whirl is one of the first in line to deck him across the face.

"You sorry excuse of a tyrant!--"--Whirl

"I know you're upset Whirl... Buddy passing must not have been easy..."--Megatron

"Passing? What are you talking about?"--Whirl

"Surely they have already passed it's been more than 80 years."--Megatron

"Megs, it's been a couple months since your little disappearing act."--Rodimus

"...Is Buddy alive?"--Megatron

"Of course they are! Why--Hey!"--Whirl

Megatron sprinting pass him and to Buddy's habsuite.

Megatron had never sprinted as fast as he did at that moment. For the past 200 or so years he had been in a constant state of mourning. He thought he had lost Buddy forever. The biggest regret he had was not at least telling them good bye.

Now here he was... He almost backed out of knocking on the door, but he did it. The doors opened revealing Buddy in all of their morning glory.

"... Buddy?"--Megatron

"Ah man it's one of those dreams again. Listen fake Megs, I'm not in the mood right now. So if you'll just come back next week that'll be great."--Buddy

Megatron finally snapped out of his dazed and scooped up Buddy into his servos and held them close to his spark.

It took Buddy a solid second to realize this wasn't some fever dream.

"Megs?"--Buddy

"I'm here now. I'm here."--Megatron

"...How... How dare you! YOU LEFT ME HERE ALONE! YOU DON'T JUST CALL SOMEONE THEIR KID THEN LEAVE THEM HIGH AND DRY! WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE ME?!? OR AT LEAST SAY GOOD BYE!? TELL ME! TELL ME WHY?!? DAD WHY DID... why did you leave me...*--Buddy

"...I am so sorry..."--Megatron

"...you better be... I will never leave your side again... You're worse than a toddler getting lost at a Walmart..."--Buddy

It wasn't an easy transition at first. Buddy had their friends always within arms length from Megatron. Buddy themselves put up some walls to avoid getting hurt again.

The two eventually decided to seek counseling to try and mend their relationship. Thank goodness that happened.

Now Megatron was sitting in his habsuite with Buddy telling him all the latest news on the ship while reviewing their latest poems.

These were the little things he missed most and was glad he had gotten a chance to get them back.

What if TFP Megatron hadn't fumbled the bag during the Orion Pax arc...?

Like, imagine we get that scene where Orion is all "Why does this computer refer to me as Optimus Prime? Who... am I?" And instead of Megs being all "Grr, you're just my clerk, nothing more." He was... actually sort of honest?

Like obviously not 100% honest, let's be real here he's got his own agenda. But I'll bet Orion wouldn't have tried to delete his data if he had gotten an actually satisfying answer!!

For example what if it had been like:

Orion: I must know-- who... am I?

Megatron: ... *sigh* I'm not so sure I know the answer myself, Orion. This situation... it's complicated.

Orion: Then perhaps you might help me regain the memories I have lost? You explained what became of Cybertron, but I have yet to learn what has happened to me--

Megatron: -- It would have been too much! So many years lost, so much change to take in... I didn't want to overwhelm you!

Orion: I know, and I appreciate your consideration... however, these questions have been distracting me from my work...

Megatron: ... Very well. Come.

They settle down on some nook with a window. Orion's optics are glued to Megatron, while Megatron looks out said window for a beat before turning to face Orion.

Megatron: What do you remember, before I found you in those tunnels and brought you onto my ship?

Orion: I... *shifting uncomfortably* it's difficult to recall, but I believe my last memory was of us... fighting.

Megatron: Fighting?

Privately, Megatron is concerned Orion might be recalling a battle. He watches the other mech closely for his next words-- is the jig up already..?

Orion: Yes... we were arguing after the Council meeting, though I can't recall what for...

Megatron visibly relaxes a bit.

Megatron: Ah... that. Yes, I remember that day.

Orion: I had miscalculated, and my error upset you. We parted on bad terms.

Megatron: Oh, my dear Orion, that's long in the past! I hardly think back to our quarrel...

Megatron gently takes Orion's servo into his own, idly rubbing a thumb over his digits as if lost in a memory.

Megatron: Actually... your absence gave me clarity-- once I learned you were gone, I immediately realized that I missed you... regardless of what had transpired. And it hurt my spark to know we would never see each other again-- though, that turned out to not exactly be the case...

Orion is staring intensely now. He is afraid of the answer, but knows he must press on.

Orion: Megatron... what happened to me?

Megatron: After that Council meeting... you were taken.

Orion: Taken? By who??

Megatron stops rubbing Orion's servo, squeezing it instead.

Megatron: ... The Autobots, but I didn't know it at the time. I was informed you hadn't reported for work in a while. For a deca-cycle, in fact, which didn't seem like you. I tried to com, but was having no luck-- then Intel couldn't find evidence that you had even made it home after the meeting. Upon further investigation, we learned you were snatched off the street some time after we had parted ways. I knew then something bad had happened to you, but I didn't know who was responsible. Not until I saw you again... only it wasn't you--

Orion Pax: -- It was Optimus Prime.

Megatron: Yes.

Orion Pax: But... how? How could I be a Prime? I'm just an archivist-- was just an archivist... and why me?

Megatron: I'm sure you've noticed the change in your chassis. Well... we believe the Autobot warlord Ratchet used his vast medical knowledge to perform experiments on you, which allowed your body to carry the Matrix. As to why he chose you... I'm certain it was to derail our revolution efforts. It had been personal blow, seeing you change sides...

Orion: How could I abandon the cause? Did I not recognize you anymore?

Megatron: You recognized me, but you did not know me. When the Autobots declared war, Optimus Prime would charge in, always on the front line. I was one of the few fighters who could hold my own against him, and by far the best chance we had to get you to come back to your senses... but I could never reach you.

Orion removes his servo from Megatron's, instead balling it into a fist on his leg. He looks away as well to take in a steadying vent, then another... when he finds his voice again, it is soft-- but he needs to know...

Orion: ... Was it mnemosurgery?

Megatron responds equally as soft.

Megatron: For vorns, I thought that was the case. However we'd didn't find any evidence of it during your medical examination.

Orion's optics snap back to Megatron's.

Orion: Then how?! I--

Megatron: -- It seems your memory loss had something to do with the Matrix. We could test that theory, of course, but nothing would move forward without your consent, Orion. You understand?

Orion: Yes, thank you. I will consider it. And thank you again for taking the time to enlighten me. I am... sorry to have caused you all so much pain...

Megatron: Don't dwell on the darkness of the past when tomorrow promises a brighter future, my friend.

Orion: Mm... how can you be so sure? We are far from home, and the war rages on.

Megatron: Because I was able to finally reunite with someone I had thought to be lost forever. Anything seems possible to me now, even victory after all this time.

Orion blushes slightly as Megatron gets up to leave.

Megatron: I must go attend to my duties on the bridge. Would you like to join me for fuel in my quarters? Say, in the next few groons?

Orion: I would like that, very much.

As he watches Megatron depart, Orion privately wonders just what "victory" would look like, given their home has been destroyed. To what end do we fight? Perhaps I shall ask Megatron to elaborate on his vision of the future after our shifts...

warnings: very sad baby megs, toji leaving, unprovoked insults from a child (not megumi dw)

Today has been somewhat of a tense and worrisome day. Megumi's school had called in, reporting about the fight that your son got into. This was not a totally unfamiliar situation as Megumi had always been quite.. brazen, with his actions.

The first time he was in a fight with someone was a day you still couldn't forget. You nearly had a heart attack; the first thing you thought being that your baby boy got hurt. Back then, you didn't really know how to deal with these situations properly. You were angry, disappointed and most of all so damn worried about him and what was going on in his life. The effects of that confrontation still lingered after that day: he became more distant, avoiding your questions whenever you tried to approach him.

You took time to rethink what happened, trying to figure out ways that would make your relationship better. That was when you'd tried to be more gentle,—still stern, but much softer—not raising your voice in frantic concern but instead, trying to talk through his feelings and how it can affect the people around him. Megumi's gotten much better at opening up about his thoughts and emotions over the years, with each time the fights becoming less and less of an occurrence at school. You've tried your best to provide that space and comfortability for him and it was easy to see that he appreciated it.

But sometimes.. the fights reoccurred when things got really out of hand.

Sitting on the sofa in front of him, you waited patiently for his explanation of what happened and why he was involved in the altercation. There were of course, consequences to his actions, depending on what had happened.

The silence could have stretched for seconds or minutes but you made no qualms to try and make him speak before he wanted to, only putting on a reassuring expression despite the turmoil brewing inside your head. It was the one thing that you would always remember to carry whenever you spoke with him: patience. Raising a child as a single mother could be incredibly taxing but you would never ever take your exhaustion out on him. And so you learnt to be patient, to take deep breathes whenever everything felt too overwhelming.

"He said that I.." He finally trailed off mumbling—borderline whispering—the last words of his sentence.

You took his warm hands into yours, thumbs stroking circles on the back of his hand, "Can you speak up for me please sweetheart? It's alright, you can talk to me."

Megumi paused, looking pained when he recalled those memories. He'd always had kind of a still face, looking like he was bored all the time. But as his mother, it was easy to eye the quirks and minuscule movements on his face, like how he would purse his lips and have that furrow on the front of his eyebrows whenever he was feeling upset. He closed his eyes as he began to open his mouth, long eyelashes kissing the pads of his cheeks while barely-held salty tears lined each strand.

"..he said that I was so stupid.. no wonder why my dad left."

The sound of your heart breaking felt deafening in your ears, ringing with mockery of not being able to protect your child and most of all, the fact that Megumi sounded so utterly defeated under those careless and ignorant words. No one, especially a child deserved to be blamed for something so personal that wasn't their fault. That's something that will forever be carved into their hearts. Your face must've had a fiery expression as Megumi meekly asked,

"Are you angry at me?.. I'm sor-"

"No!.. no, I could never be mad at you.. you don't need to apologize for that." Swiftly, you pulled his body towards you even more, gazing directly at his face.

"I'm sor-" Megumi chokes out, afraid that you would leave him too, just like his father did.

"Oh my sweets shh, shh, come here.."

He hastily buried his head onto your chest and wrapped his small arms around your waist, almost clawing at your shirt as he desperately sought for comfort. It was like the dam had finally broken, the waterworks beginning to spill out as his cries enveloped the mellow living room. You were now kneeling on the floor after reaching out for him, reciprocating his gesture and tightening your hug to protect him from the cruelty of the world. With every single sob your son let out you felt your heart snap painfully little by little; his tears were like diamonds that the ground never deserved to touch.

"Mama's got you,"

You let him cry his emotions out, hands never faltering in gently rubbing his hair all the way to his back. It was hard to let him go. You couldn't bare to see his grief-stricken face, the tears that trickled down his vermillion-turned skin.

Though that exact expression came right in front of your vision when Megumi reluctantly and slowly lifted his head up from the warmth of your chest to gaze right at you. He looked so fragile, like a fine china doll: orange cheeks and guileless eyes puffed up, staring so painfully sharp as if they were glaring at you, the white reflections in his stygian pupils swirling rapidly in a whirlwind of turmoil and anguish.

"Did he leave because of me?"

The suffocating atmosphere became even more palpable now.

His question left your mouth hanging open, words caught up in the back of your throat as your breathe hitched precipitously.

You yourself didn't even know exactly why he suddenly left, only vaguely saying that Megumi would have a better life with you. And you believed him, fully and truly with all your heart because you loved him. With the circumstances—Megumi's future, particularly—it was understandable to a certain extent how that would become a factor to his decision, but that didn't justify the fact that he left his son without saying goodbye, or left your family without a speck of dirt expect for the fact that you see him every, single, day in Megumi's face. Hell, you didn't even know if he was still alive out there or not.

"Oh, honey.. of course not," you really we're struggling to keep a soothing face on. Out of instinct, your palms made their way onto his plump cheeks, cradling his face as you leaned closer.

"It's- it's difficult to explain, but it's not anything that you've done."

Gently stroking his cheeks, you took a deep breathe and completed your words delicately, "The world we live in... it's dangerous, and your father was trying to protect us. We are so, so sorry. And I-.. I know it can be hard, but he loves you, Megumi. We both love you very much."

It really wasn't much, but it was an answer. It was flawed too, filled with holes and unanswered questions that felt too far to reach, too unknown.

Your own heart was in cavernous disarray. You didn't want to paint Toji as the bad guy,—though arguably he seemed like it—to push your own sense of betrayal and hurt onto his image. You didn't want Megumi to resent him.

In the course of time, he deserved a proper explanation of what happened—one that wasn't too vague and simplified. Megumi had always been someone who felt deeply and there's a big chance that your son would have a seed of doubt and dislike inside of him, but all you wanted to do right now was give him comfort and the closure that he wasn't the catalyst of your separation.

Of course, you didn't forget to tackle the issue that was that menace classmate of his. Words are powerful weapons, and you intend to wield them in a positive manner. "Listen to me my love, you are the most brilliant and amazing boy I could ever have been blessed with. Remember that Megumi, you are our blessing. You have more bravery and love inside your heart than anybody and never, never let anyone take that away from you, okay?"

"..okay." He sniffled, wiping his tears away with the sleeve of his blazer.

"Mama loves you ‘Gumi, and you're not stupid. Don't listen to that boy and if he ever says anything like that again, tell me right away. I promise I won't be mad. It's right to defend yourself, but sometimes.. sometimes you have to be the bigger person." You reassured. When Megumi nodded in understanding, you started to press loving kisses to his forehead and eyelids until he squirmed and giggled; you relished in the small joy he displayed.

"Should we get some ice cream after this? How does that sound?" Food was truly the solution for everything.

In response, Megumi seemed to light up at the offer but furrowed his brows after and shyly looked at you with the most beautifully large, watery viridian eyes.

"Can we have yakisoba instead, please?"

Hah.. you should've known. The boy really liked anything with ginger.

"Of course we can." You replied, letting out a breathe chuckle as you ruffled his hair softly. Getting up from the carpet with slightly aching knees, you mustered a sweet, small smile and held out your hands to his, ready for a nice and warm meal to wash the heartache away.

Sure! I can see what I can do :) This isn't a specific plot or anything it's just me doing a thought dump! I hope the way I write him is good because I love his character but may butcher him as a yandere-

Yandere! TFP! Optimus Prime Concept

(Ft. a small part about Orion Pax)

Pairing: Romantic/Platonic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Stalking, Manipulation, Violence, Isolation, Kidnapping, Forced companionship, Cybertronian/Cybertronian pairing and Human/Cybertronian pairing mentioned.

Optimus Prime, a leader of the Autobots, would definitely be protective like most Autobot yanderes.

He'd be protective of his darling if they were a human or an Autobot.

To him he feels he's responsible to keep those he cares about safe as a Prime.

If his darling was a Decepticon he'd try his best to convert them since he'd be one to believe they're just confused/on the wrong side.

I feel Optimus couldn't hate his darling even if they were on another side.

For the sake of keeping this concept easy I'll focus primarily on an Autobot/Human darling.

Despite appearing stern and serious, Optimus is incredibly caring and considerate of his darling.

He tries to do the right thing and corrects himself if he makes you feel uncomfortable.

Optimus wants to make you feel comfortable around him above all else.

While he may feel conflicted about bending the rules or doing something "wrong" at times, he tries to tell himself it's to keep you happy.

I can't see Optimus as a very violent yandere unless you're hurt.

Even then he has a higher chance of being violent towards Decepticons compared to humans or other Autobots.

He's a yandere who has morals and does mean to do the right thing.

He just feels he can bend things a little to keep you safe.

Optimus could be a stalking yandere but it would be more common if you were human.

If you were a human then Optimus could check in on you after his night patrols.

Don't mind him too much when he looks through your window... he just wants his human safe.

When you are a human like most Autobots he may drive you around but would not do it frequently similar to Ratchet.

He'd be very careful and promises to drive you back to base if a Decepticon or other threat shows up.

Optimus has no need to stalk you if you were an Autobot.

If I'm correct Autobots already can track each other and Optimus would either keep you at base or go on missions with you.

A Decepticon darling gets trickier because he'd have to some how orchestrate a way to meet you one on one.

Stalking is nearly impossible because he needs to stay with his team.

Going back to what I said before with Optimus and violence, I don't see him as one to kill.

Even if a Decepticon was trying to hurt you he'd probably incapacitate them but not put them offline.

If a human was a bit too close for comfort then he could manipulate them away while being subtle about it.

If an Autobot was causing some issues then Optimus would encourage you to ignore them and only focus on him.

He isn't a jealous yandere and isn't the most demanding.

He's like a guardian regardless on how he feels about you.

Just to talk a little about this, his feelings may carry over as Orion Pax.

Be you Autobot, human, or Decepticon... he feels a strange connection to you.

When Megatron tries to take him in due to Optimus's lack of memories, you're requested to come with.

Orion isn't sure why he wants you to come with, especially if you're and Autobot or a human, but Megatron relents to keep the illusion going.

Megatron gives you to Orion if you are a human companion/pet.

If you're an Autobot you're sent to a cell for Orion to see occasionally with supervision.

If you're a Decepticon then Orion can see you whenever because you most likely will be going along with Megatron's plan.

As Orion he's much more timid and not quite like how he used to be.

He's trying his best to know why he cares for you so much but can't quite get there.

For some reason he's soft around you and chats with you whenever he can.

Megatron is fine begrudgingly as long as you keep him believing he's Orion not Optimus.

Orion finds himself turning to you for a lot of things if Megatron is not around.

He asks you to help him with his memory loss regardless on if you can help or not.

It's actually really odd to see him in such a clueless and timid state.

I can see Optimus/Orion feeling bad when he remembers who he is.

If you're a human you were probably subjected to so much fear.

If you're an Autobot you were locked in a cell the whole time, probably interrogated when he was not there.

With you as a Decepticon not much changed except he learned more about you.

Perhaps even learning you're not a devoted Decepticon.

Optimus may kidnap but he'd disguise it to convince himself what he's doing is okay.

He doesn't have to kidnap you as an Autobot.

A human or Decepticon darling are more likely to be subjected to this.

If you're human then he tries to convince you your home is targeted by Decepticons.

You'll be in danger if he doesn't move you.

If you're Decepticon he captures you because he feels you can change.

He knows deep down you can be an Autobot if you just try.

He'll encourage you.

Optimus may make his darling second guess themselves on certain things if it keeps you protected and in his care.

What do you mean what he's doing isn't keeping you safe?

He knows what he's doing! You're just naive....

I want to think Optimus can be affectionate.

He's shown being caring towards Arcee in the show so I feel he'd be similar to his darling.

If darling's an Autobot he can be more physical with affection since you're both Cybertronian.

If you're human he has to either use a holoform or be very careful.

You're fragile... he could hurt you easily.

If you're a Decepticon it's similar to Autobot but with more... restraints.

Optimus is a yandere who tries to be the beat for his darling.

As an Autobot and a Prime, one who must protect Cybertron, Earth, and Humanity, he feels he's the best bot to protect you.

You may question him and his methods, but his motives are the same.

In the end he'll always be there for you when no one else can...

Even if you grow to hate him due to all the isolation.

Important information. SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE. UPDATING AS I WATCH THE MOVIE ALONG BEAR WITH ME. The film they watched at the hotel is You've Got Mail, this is Sam and Rebecca's story. When they messaged each other not knowing who the other person was. Ted said Sleepless in Seattle was far superior. This is the one where airports play a significant part and it's about a man who lost his wife and has a son finding love again with the woman he never knew until the last second would be the one. He first sees her in an airport and is knocked sideways. By all accounts the last of Ted we will see will be in an airport based on previous seasons with first and last shot being a character’s face in the same location.

Also Rebecca mentioning she has a private jet and the thing with airports; SUSP AS HELL.

Keeley assumed the moment Rebecca spent with Dutch Guy was "Magic" This is also a quote from Sleepless in Seattle. Turns out it was Gezellig instead. But this is definitely where we're going. And that'll either be Dutch Guy or Ted. Both fit the man who lost their partner and have a kid formula. Definitely not Sam. But Ted tripped over the Red String of Fate, has the matchbook, loves Kenny Rogers, bakes the biscuits who are home to her, she carries his army man everywhere she goes. She hasn't been struck by lightning yet which to me means it's not Dutch Guy; Ted is leaving which means her world is about to be turned upside down. I keep the faith. i don't care.

AND there's a tear in Meg Ryan's wedding dress and she says oh no it's a sign to which her mum says "You don't believe in signs!" And Rebecca doesn't really believe in signs either! All the signs have been pointing to different people except the obvious one! They're there so she can see something about herself she completely missed.

FUCK MY LIFE. It's about making wishes!! Tom Hanks' son in the film wishes for his father to find a new wife!! His son is worried about his dad!!!

The psychiatrist on the radio is called Dr. Fieldstone FUUUUUUCK MEEEEE. IT WAS RIGHT THERE ALL ALONG.

Sam and Annie speak the same words at the same time in two different places, soulmatism right there!

Annie thought Sam sounded "Nice" on the radio and Ted is one of the "nicest" humans Rebecca has ever met!!

Quote from a guy : "This is fate, she's divorced and you need a new wife." (not talking about Annie here, it's another woman) "What is that thing when everything intersects?" To which Sam replies: "The Bermuda TRIANGLE."

One woman who writes to Sam after he was on the radio lives in OKLAHOMA!

Dr. Fieldstone tells Sam she can tell he is a good dad just like Beard told Ted!!

One woman says on the radio: "Why do you want to be with someone who doesn't love you?" (Michelle, anyone?)

"Sam, tell me what was so special about your wife?" "It was a million tiny little things then when you added them all up it just meant we were supposed to be together. I knew it the very first time I touched her it was like coming home, only to no home I had ever known!"

Annie asking a friend: "But when you met her (his wife), did you believe she was the only person for you? That in some mystical, cosmic way, it was fated?"

Sam's friend about relationships:

"Things are different, now. First, you have to be friends. You have to like each other."

Annie talks to her best friend about the concept of DESTINY.

Annie hires a private detective to run a background check on Sam!! Ted wanted Rebecca to do it with Dr. Jacob!

Wonderful addition by @doctorbeverlycrusher : Rebecca’s mom said a couple times that when she loves something, she loves it forever. The main song from Sleepless in Seattle, When I Fall in Love, starts with the lyric “When I fall in love, it will be forever”.

ANNIE MUNCHES ON SUNFLOWER SEEDS ON THE PLANE.

Sam's son to his dad: "Jessica says you and Annie never got together in that life, and your hearts are like puzzles with parts out of them and when you get together the puzzle's complete. The reason I know this and you don't is that I'm younger and purer so I'm more in touch with cosmic forces."

There's even a mention of Horticulture!

We spotted the word Rainbow in the pub game, the romcommunism episode was called Rainbow. Let me leave you with the quote from Ted again.

"Now, it may not work out how you think it will or how you hope it does, but believe me, it will all work out. Exactly as it's supposed to."

I might be setting myself up for disappointment but the writers are building every step up to the cliff egde, baby!

JUJUTSU KAISEN AU

Quite literally, all of these characters would be alive and thriving anywhere else.

Nobara Kugisaki - IG Model, easy. After not getting scouted in Tokyo like she'd always imagined, she decides to do it her mf'ing self. Her results... are lackluster. At first. But as frustration wins, she inadvertently starts letting the real her shine through (complete with bouts of scathing badassery during a live complaining about her lack of fame). People begin to find her incredibly relatable and she becomes like the Jennifer Lawrence of influencers. Never once do her travels take her close to Shibuya station.

Why: That "I-Know-I'm-The-Shit-Even-If-You-Don't" attitude has nothing to do with jujutsu. Nobara has an unwavering confidence and is delulu enough to make it happen, whatever It is for her.

Yuji Itadori - As a card carrying member of the occult club in high school, Yuji starts considering his prospects for higher education (Sasaki and Iguchi will continue to need someone to hide behind as they investigate the "supernatural"). Subsequently, he finally gives into coach's insistence to join a sports team provided it doesn't take time away from his club commitments and, of course, goes All Star in whatever sport he decides to take on. Subsequently, he gets a full ride + stipends to attend university as a college baseball player after chasing his passing interest in going to the "Summer Koshien". He happens to follow Kugisaki on Insta.

Why: Yuji's need to be needed would, in part, guide his steps. I think he'd want to be something cinema related, like a reviewer! But he'd always want to coddle the cowering forms of his peers even if they weren't particularly close. Sports is a means to an end, maybe he'll study cinematography or film theory in uni! But ultimately, he's still a kid who wants to help people.

Megumi Fushiguro - Sweet baby Megs has always had a penchant with animals. They find their way to him at parties, otherwise well behaved dogs pull against their leash to flock to him... even wild animals tend to be way too comfortable getting close. This charm he has over animals amuses him though he'd never admit it aloud (he's still just as sullen as ever). Subsequently, while he doesn't need the money, he helps out as a veterinarian technician while in high school and volunteers to walk dogs at the local humane society. He doesn't have social media but he occasionally gets posted with the animals on their SM pages when they have adoption events (which tend to be really well attended afterwards). He's posted exactly one video to YouTube to an account with no profile picture that urges idiots to stop giving baseballs to dogs and leaving them unattended as aggressive chewers may end up ingesting the innards which cause obstructions in their intestines. Yuji was the idiot in question that prompted the post. He did see the video.

Why: Megumi is gentle but more specifically to life forms that deserve it. I still think he'd break the face of anyone who breaks the golden rule of "don't hurt me [or anyone I love] and I won't hurt you [or anyone you love]" but that soft spot for vulnerable beings is still there.

Nanami Kento - Nanami Kento is still a salaryman but, without the outlet that being a sorcerer allowed him when he felt dispirited, he's forced to white knuckle it like the rest of us. That is, until he finds a cause that he can dedicate some of his time to. It starts when Haibara joins a community outreach program wherein he encourages Nanami to be a volunteer mentor. It starts out rather stiffly but, eventually, things kind of click together for him. He realizes the kid he's mentoring isn't a total delinquent and the kid realizes he's not being infantilized when Nanami just cares for his wellbeing. With this understanding, Nanami really feels like his impact is meaningful and he commits to taking on more responsibilities within the program both in a leadership role and in taking on more mentees. Ino was his first mentee, Yuji was his second (mandatory after being caught underage in a pachinko casino). He couldn't get rid of either of them after the fact.

Why: Nanami isn't so bored with being an office worker that jujutsu is the only alternative. He just wants to feel like his incredibly valuable time makes a difference. He needs a cause and Papamin deserves someone to look after (quite to his dismay).

Satoru Gojo - Satoru Gojo wants for not in any universe. Subsequently, he is just an eccentric rich guy who, in a very intentionally Jay Gatsby manner, frequently throws extremely lavish parties that are the talk of the town. They are as garrish as he is outlandish but men and women flock to them for a chance at getting a peak at the Gojo clan heir. In his youth, he'd gone to a small, private religious high school and still sends individual invitations to each of his old schoolmates with the hope that one of them in particular will come. Shoko attends every party with Utahime begrudgingly at her side. Nanami curtly replies with a written "decline" to every single invitation though Haibara is sometimes able to drag him out. Geto attends occasionally but he is quite blissfully unaware that these opulent parties are solely meant to captivate his attention. He's under the impression that whatever they had in high school is long gone. Nobara has, on occasion, tried to crash these parties but security usually bounces her because she's underage.

Why: In every universe, in every life, Satoru Gojo is a simp. Especially for the lone person he considers to be his equal. For all his money, for all his power, he is always left wanting [Suguru Geto].

My Hero Academia AU

Honestly, this gave me more of a hard time. Like, the kids are the same age as JJK but, they just seem... like kids. I can't tell if it's the depth of JJK's character development or their semi-obvious cursed techniques as they relates to employment but here's what I came up with.

Katsuki Bakugo - Katsuki Bakugo is effortlessly good at a lot of things in and out of the MHA universe. While he has a keen intellect fit for many professions, I think his obsessive-bordering-on-psychopathic dedication to be the strongest, the best is reminiscent of a dude bro bullying you into buying whey protein and lifting more. He would for sure be a personal trainer who would, begrudgingly, have a social media presence where he commodifies his otherwise flippant attitude and "beats people into being a less shitty version of themselves". He would also have a private, no face cooking account on tik tok for his curated but delicious meal planning. Midoriya, unknowingly, follows both online personalities. This does not escape Bakugo’s attention.

Why: Don't get me wrong, kid is will one day be the CEO of whatever company he wants (a lot of CEO's are also psychopathic) but, considering his age and current hobbies, he was born to call his followers extras while condescending to them about a proper workout and nutrition plan.

Izuku Midoriya - Izuku and his penchant for hyper informed rants about his special interest would see surprising success as a tiktoker. Bullies would always find something to pick on him for whether that be his absent dad, his socioeconomic background, his pitiful disposition… but even they’d be clued into and following along for his long form verbal essays on pop culture (only thing I could think of in lieu of hero culture, maybe sports would be better?). He’d cultivate a community of adoring fans turned friends and collaborate with other similarly obsessed fanatics. Bakugo would be hyperaware of his channel but act really passive when any of their old middle school classmates bring it up to talk about it.

Why: I feel like tiktok is absolutely the perfect environment where people can connect over their interests and, as an aficionado in whatever seems apropos for the AU, Midoriya’s innate charm over others would shine through and garner a following. Especially because we know he knows what he’s talking about. I’d be tuned in.

Shoto Todoroki - if Enji is still in the mix, he’s likely still going to be waging war against his own weakness (in whatever capacity) and, subsequently will be both insanely successful by other peoples’ standards and still incredibly toxic toward his children in this mission. Shoto will still bear the brunt of it but will temper it with willful rebellion. Oh, you want Shoto to take over the family investment portfolio? It’ll cost you. He will be somewhat mindful of his actions so people aren’t losing their livelihoods but he will be sinking tons of Enji’s personal money into stocks or company’s with unfavorable odds. A family owned cement company that was about to go under, paying to keep a radio station operable 24/7 with semi-hourly disparaging blind items about Enji Todoroki.. these are just a few of his dalliances. Shoto is an undercover day trader using his fathers slush fund as capital. He was absolutely a big part of what saved GameStop’s stock inexplicably. Turned him a pretty profit but he refuses to give Enji the satisfaction of knowing that he may have been right in steering him to stocks in the first place. Midoriya absolutely talked at length about the phenomenon that rejuvenated his favorite game store from his youth he used to frequent with an unnamed childhood friend. Bakugo saw the segment and, while secretly giddy, did not reach out. Did thank whatever invisible hand drove the nerd to mention it though.

Why: His nepo baby status will get him in to places where he actually wants to be, career wise, but Enji is still stonewalling him into his idea of Shoto’s life. Further, he would never want his unique legacy to be tainted with whatever grace his father’s name gives him. He has time and the means to figure out what he wants to do though. And access to so much therapy.

Shouta Aizawa - I honestly cannot see Aizawa as anything not expressly kid related. The care he has when he gets on their eye level to talk to them is top tier. TBH he rounds out the trifecta of mentors who unilaterally put kids above themselves with Nanami and, arguably, Gojo. If not a teacher, I’d say a loose cannon social worker. Earnestly, this man is willing to be in the shit of it if only to spare children who lack guidance, resources, proper decision making skills, etc. as a UA teacher. He wouldn’t be of the “quick to expel and dash dreams” type of loose cannon that his teacher persona allows. He’d be more like a Benson from Law & Order SVU type loose cannon where he’s probably bending some protocols to be a bit more domineering than he needs to be so adults know that any vulnerable kids under his charge are cared for because he’s super invested in his work and their wellbeing. Plus, the man can be a little deranged so he’s not afraid to make his subtle point more clear ✨ for people who don’t appear to be getting the message when it comes to his young stewards.

Why: If there is a society that unjustly does not protect children, then Shouta Aizawa will. I think my hope is that Shirakumo Oboro isn't a lesson in every universe.

Toshinori Yagi - This man is a politician. He runs on idyllic principles which are infectious across every demographic. He appears earnest and forthright and truly got into it for all the right reasons but the reality of politics is very different from the idea of them. He still thrives but feels more and more like he's failing his constituents, losing out to other politicians who are more corrupt, who curry favor from less than savory organizations to sway policies in their favor. He's disheartened but still believes in a future with peace and looks to the youth, his biggest support base, to take steps toward progress together which includes bolstering social programs. Aizawa thinks he's a bit of a sham until money starts hitting the programs that matter. Midoriya talks about Yagi's bold commitment to partnering with the youth on his channel frequently.

Why: It was this or a Gilderoy Lockhart-esque facade for a self-help book author. I see both as equally plausible. Selling a dream while falling apart internally? Same.

A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L'Engel. a timeless classic that i love love love. meg is such a fun protagonist and i really enjoyed experiencing this as an adult again. the whole like… helpless devastated rage she feels when she realizes that adults can't just. fix everything? that sequence will always rattle me around like a mason jar fulla beans. she's such a like… man. the way the narrative was like. this isn't fair. it isn't right. it's happening anyway. i'm so sorry, but it's happening anyway. that really got me.

Protagonist: Meg Murry. Most Likely To Have A Profound And Life Altering Impact On Adolescent Weird Girls Who Read Her Book.

7. Whiskeyjack by Victoria Goddard. third book in the series, slightly less fun than the others but only very slightly. i cannot emphasize enough how difficult it was to rank like, 2-8. had some VERY fun stuff with like…. things you learn that then go back and recontextualize everything else. ended on a scene that made me fucking sob which is always a plus in my book. themes of FAMILY and LOYALTY and SACRIFICE. my fucking beloved. yes please. the pov character continues to have a horrible little time. also love that.

Protagonist: (again, series has dual protagonists, so switching back) Peregrine Dart. Most Likely To Be The Unwitting Conduit Of The Deus Ex Machina. Deus Ex Dart.

8. One By One by Ruth Ware. just a really good classic mystery thriller. i love a mystery thriller, and ruth ware seems to always hit for me. managed to pull off a pov switch between two pov characters one of whom had a massive, MASSIVE secret without it seeming completely nonsensical once revealed or relying on the pov character talking in deliberately obtuse or evasive ways that would be really tiresome and insulting if carried through. there was a set of tech bro startup characters that were obnoxious and infuriating in exactly the way that those people are in real life, so points for that for SURE even though i did wanna throttle them.

Protagonist: Erin (Lastname). Most Deserving Of A Tropical Vacation.

9. The Ritual by Adam Nevill. this is the most brutal book i have read in recent memory. possibly at all. this guy gets put all the way through the wringer physically and emotionally and it is visceral in the way it is described. the protagonist was a profoundly unpleasant person a lot of the time but this was deliberate and really engaging, honestly. there were some moments of stark self-reflection from him about the ways in which he did not like who he was and the things he did, and when he recognized how like. unfair and cruel he was being to the others in his head. wasn't as good as the movie, imo, but the changes that they made between the book and film made total sense given the sheer level of interiority in the book. and boy howdy how much interiority. whoof.

Protagonist: Luke. Most Surprising Survival.

10. I Am Not Who You Think I Am by Eric Rickstad. i think the most damning thing that can be said about this book is that i literally can't remember almost anything about it. it was compelling in some ways and there were a few very specific moments that i was really gripped by but most of it was like. a really flat letdown. it was interesting enough as a mystery that i finished it but i don't even really remember why, now.

Protagonist: Wayland Maynard. Most Forgettable Guy.

11. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. just. ugh. dystopia ya in a bad way. too complicated and not well established. dumbass colour coding system. it could've been so fun, i love traumatized teenagers with powers and an evil government in all sincerity but this just did not do anything good with it. it looked like it COULD have but it DIDN'T. the love interest character was a DICK. there was some weird gender takes that popped out of nowhere. jump-scared by gender. did enjoy watching the movie though because it was fucking insane and gave me a scene where the protagonist and the love interest shared a passionate embrace over what fully appeared to be the dead body of the love interest's theoretical best friend. amazing. no notes.

Protagonist: Ruby Daly. Most Likely To One Day Decide She's Tired Of Being Nice And She Does Want To Go Apeshit Actually.

12. Reputation by Sarah Vaughan. [VIDEODROME PRESCREEN AUDIENCE REVIEW WHERE THEY JSUT WROTE 'SUCKED' AND GOT SO UPSET ABOUT HOW BAD IT WAS THEY MARKED THE WRONG GENDER] this book was BAD. the writing was bad. the characters were bad and not on purpose. the politics of the book were uh. whoof. what if white girlboss feminism was a novel. points for some of the hardest i've laughed tho at Nice Dick Mike the journalist that the protagonist cannot respect after she sleeps with him and Lady Cop With Bangs, the traitor to womanhood.

Protagonist: Emma Webster. Most Likely To Submit An Extremely Long Post To Reddit Dot Com Slash Am I The Asshole That Leaves Out A Lot Of Like, Extremely Critical Information That When Uncovered All Makes Her Look Really Fucking Bad While She Seems To Still Think It Was Entirely Irrelevant And Honestly Unfair To Even Consider. Gd Forbid Women Do Anything.

UNCATEGORIZED: 21st Century Jocks: Sporting Men And Contemporary Heterosexuality by Eric Anderson. there was simply no way to rank this among the others, it was too completely different. they were all very different books but this was just. entirely different. had a wonderful time with it though!! gave me a lot to think about as someone who thinks a lot

The SX3 dilemma

Intro

Hello there! im sorry for not posting much I've been having a bit of hard time this semester with graduation and school admissions. Thats why my posting hasn't been consistent at all. However, im gonna try and at least finish the healthy/unhealthy enneagram series. Im writing this post cuz I've noticed that there is a bit of misunderstanding of what is the SX3 and how we identify them. As well as some differentiation between an E2 vs E3.

What is an SX3

Sexual Three "Charisma" or "The Cheerleader"

"Sexual Threes seek to experience Essential Value through their desirability and the magnetism of their attraction displays. Sexual Threes want to be the most magnetic person in the room. They feed off of generating intrigue, mystique, and even controversy, and they aren't much concerned with being liked or pursuing practical achievements. Competition in Sexual Threes revolves around being the most attractive and having the most captivating sexual display, and they're most likely to have cultivated a striking personal flavor meant to stand apart from others. People of this type are not interested in generic beauty, so some Sexual Threes, especially performers, play with attractive yet experimental personas or go for an overtly sexy image.- (P.209 John Lukovich, The Instinctual Drives& The Enneagram)

However, while I really like this definite of SX3 id like to add that the attractiveness of the SX3 isnt necessarily physical. It can be like the materialism of the SO3 or the Humility of the SP3. The SX3 desires to find an ideal partner in which they can find success and love. The SX subtype is ALL about interpersonal connection.

How to differentiate them from other types

I think the easiest way to different two types from each other is usually through core desire and triads. most people usually confuse them due to the squishy nature the SX3 has. Imo unlike the SO3 which are usually easier to spot due to their leadership, ambition and overall way they carry themselves. The SX3 is somewhere in between the SO3 and the SP3. The SX3 MAY have the assertiveness of an 8. However, they can also have the playfulness of a 7. The timidness of a 6, the calmness of a 9 or the desire of love of the 2. Which is why I think relying on the look of the type can fall short a bit when it comes to looking for traits. So I think the more important aspects of them can be seen as:

Love+Validation+Status

I think allot of people forget that the E3 core desire is validation so they create an image (a performance if you will) to show the world.

Unlike the E2 the SX3 will NOT sacrifice their own needs in those for the partner. The 3s desire is their own and so are their ambitions. The SX3 is an idealist romantic and what doesn't fall in that image will be cut out.

NOTE: The relation to the other individual doesn't need to be romantic necessarily.

yes, they are an image type BUT unlike the other two heart types the 3 has a need to attract through conventionality. Unlike the SX4 they don't pose as hurt, broken and sad individuals or the SX2 more sacrificing nature the SX3 will use "whats in" or what their target of desire likes.

Note

Prowlbee in an a.u. where Bee's father is a decepticon, but his personality is Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel.

He shows up to visit, and everyone questions how that guy is a decepticon.

Even better- Bee's father is a literal god of chaos and destruction.

This is a good opportunity to say that i will be separating the "Unicron and Primus are Bee's parents" AU from the Crack AU. (new au and tag is #god-sparkling au)

SO- to summarize: Unicron is a spirit of Earth and Primus is a spirit of Cybertron and they can materialize into transformers to interact with stuff. Bee is their Sparkling from the time they were a loving couple (now they are divorced per se). He grew up on Cybertron with guidance of his Sire (Primus) and now is living on Earth where he has fun with his Papa (Unicron).

So i had multiple takes on how they would meet. I actually think it would happen in one of the first fights when cons fight with the bots over something and Megs hurts Bee.

They all just hear a screech/roar in the close distance seconds after Megs punched Bee real hard. Megs carries on with his evil speech to the Prime and the next moment he is hit by a mining dump truck going full speed. Then said dump truck starts to shift and tadah- this ginormous bot twice the size of Megatron pops out and he is manhandling that chopper like nothing. The cons (Megatron) barely manages to run away, the moment the autobots think he's gonna wreck more chaos and possibly try to kill them he only shouts after the flyers "AND DON'T YOU DARE HURT MY SPARKLING EVER AGAIN!!".

This was both confusing and concerning. Bee goes running to that obviously dangerous bot and-- wait, why are they hugging?

So turns out this colossal fucker is itty bitty Bee's creator.

Now you'd think he'd be rowdy, aggressive and cause trouble on every occasion. But nah, this guy is smitten over his little kid, kinda like a doberman over a tiny baby. All scary but gentle. He's also cheery and loves to joke around and he will help out anyone if his sparkling asks him to. Parenthood completely changed this guy- at least when he's out in public or with his sparkling.

I haven't seen Hazbin Hotel, I only watch Helluva Boss, but I've seen some shorts about it.

I suppose Prowl would be definitely intimidated because holy fuck that is Bee's creator and he just threw Megatron like a ball across the field. Unis (Unicron's alias) is very happy that his kid got himself someone to love. Prowl hates to admit it but he's kind of questioning whether his relationship with Bee was a good idea, he still sticks with it in the end tho.

Everyone else is just as confused since Unis claims to be the most cruel and destructive warrior in the entire universe and here he is playing with Sari and Bee so gently and carefully, he never gives anything a scrach from his big claws or spike-like armor pieces.

ALTERNATIVELY (and maybe what you wanted in the first place)- Bee still has a Sire but he's not a giant godly being but instead a sleek warframe with a monsterstuck alt (a little taller than Optimus and Bulkhead).

So one time Team Prime gets a Decepticon signal on the outskirts near some abandoned facility and goes there expecting to find Megs and his minions. They spread out to get them from both sides but...

Well, they did stumble upon a Decepticon, one with awfully familiar features in fact, but that one didn't really behave like a Decepticon... He apologized for making a mess cuz he tripped and knocked down some tiny silos when they scared him and was very awkward and asking if they could maybe help him out. He strongly denied wanting to fight them even.

Then Bee came out of the bushes with Ratchet and the two bots with horns locked optics for a single second before running and hugging each other all happy.

So turns out this stray Decepticon they tracked down was Bee's Sire.

Let's name him... Dragonfly. He was a Decepticon, one of the higher ranking ones in fact, but not partaking in any business with the war surprisingly. He was a single parent and had Bee on a neutral colony, when Bee was old enough he helped his kid to get on a ship heading to Cybertron to work and secretly help his Sire out a bit on the colony. He and Bee couldn't communicate often, he didn't know Bee and his crew had gone missing but Bee had gone without replying to any of his messages for the longest time so he knew something must have happened to his bitlet. Worried and slightly paranoid he got into his camouflaged ship and went from place to place looking for him. He was spotted by the Elite Guard's ship and shot down when he neared Earth and now he was kind of stranded until his ship is fixed.

He was very nice and polite unlike the Decepticons all of the Autobots usually met. He even took a liking to the organics and Sari when she visited the next day- she accidentally mistook the new bot for Bee cuz they looked so similar. When she learned that this was Bee's dad she was hella excited tho. When Bee introduced Prowl as his sparkmate he was surprised but very pleased that his little bitlet found love. Oddly enough, he seemed very leaning into the idea of Prowl eventually becoming part of the family.

Despite being a Decepticon, Dragonfly didn't really interacted with either of the sides unless necessary. He wasn't very happy to hear that Megatron and his troops also reside on this planet, more so when his bitty is an autobot and fighting them. He deemed it the best option to just hide and don't interact with the Decepticons here, Megatron had respect for him but Dragonfly knew he would use this for his advantage if he learned Bee was his Sparkling. He's also not happy to hear Optimus boss Bee around for dangerous missions and solo escapades. He's even more upset that this low rank is bossing around a repair crew to fight with trained war soldiers instead of calling backup from the Elite Guard. At one point he confronts him about it and states that he will not let Bee go on any of the dangerous missions and fights to potentially die and that he is incompetent for making an untrained group fight a war. So what if you have field experience and a war vet on the team? They are still untrained and not ready to fight what Megatron has in store.

Optimus hated being a low ranking Prime and did not want to sit there useless when the threat was knocking at their door. But with what Dragonfly said it might have been time he made peace with the fact where he belongs now...

And so, Team Prime becomes more neutral to the Decepticons roaming out and about (outside for the threat of human villains, Optimus refuses to leave the humankind endangered by them) and lets the Elite Guard handle most of the calls, only times they are forced to assist is when an Allspark Shard appears.

Going back to Bee and Dragonfly- Dragonfly stayed on Earth a while after Team Prime fixed his ship to make sure everything was fine. He gave a communicator to his Sparkling to call him undercover at any time, they speak to each other every week. Team Prime still doesn't know why such a kind and nice mech is a Decepticon but Bee is happy and that's all that matters. They may also gotten a tad nicer towards Bee cuz a Decepticon is still a Decepticon, and with the role Bee's sire plays it would end really bad for them if they hurt him.

Hello again! I hope you don't mind, I want to try G1 request, please. Megatron have a child that is quiet, fair, gentle, respectful, and wise heir. In battle, the Decepticon Heir will get very serious and stern in battle and will lead the Decepticons into battle when Megatron is not available and make sure not one of them doesn't get killed in their watch. One of Soundwaves cassettes - Rumble, is in dangerous condition, one of the Autobots nearly finished him off before The Heir fiercely protected Rumble and carried him to the medics, which saved his life. The Decepticon Heir is sick of losses of their people - Decepticons, Neutrals, even Autobots altogether. A few days later, Decepticon Heir and Optimus somehow got separated from others in the battle while they fight each other alone. At a stroke of luck, the Heir managed knocked Optimus down. The Heir is about to kill Optimus, but changed their mind. The Heir said, "I'm sick of this war. Someday, I hope we won't have to be enemies in the future. Farewell, Prime." And then walked away. Megatron, Soundwave, and Optimus Prime. Please and thank you.

YES! We are on a roll with Megs having a child aren't we? Though G1 Megatron does have a different relationship with this Buddy (as well as his little sparkling is BIGGER than him). I sneaked in some extra things in there.

Being Megatron’s child wasn’t the best thing in the world, but they wouldn’t trade it either.

Buddy made themselves quite tight knitted with their fellow Decepticons.

Yes, even Starscream was a part of the family.

They saw that together they would be able to make a difference.

Sure, some of their family’s ways were a bit dysfunctional, but Buddy still loved them.

Soundwave walking down the corridor while looking over some datapads.

Buddy carrying Frenzy, Rumble and Skywarp sprinting past him.

“RUN! RUN! RUN! RUN!”--Frenzy

“CAN’T YOU GO ANY FASTER?!”--Skywarp

“I WOULD BUT I HAVE THE THREE OF YOU ON ME!”--Buddy

Starscream shrieking in the background.

“BUDDY!”--Rumble

“Skywarp why don’t you warp us outta here?!”--Frenzy

“Well—”--Skywarp

“Absolutely not! I’d rather run all around the Nemesis with you three digging into my spinal struts than get stuck in a wall again!”--Buddy

Buddy was closer to Soundwave and his cassettes.

Being one of the only other Decepticons making sure things were running smoothly, Buddy found themselves working with him more than Megatron himself.

Sure, Buddy and Megatron did have their little bonding moments, but lately it had seemed as if Megatron was more concerned with Prime than with them.

“Behold my master plan!”--Megatron

A copy clone of Optimus Prime coming out of the supply closet.

“…Megatron what is that?”--Buddy

“It is a copy of the original Optimus Prime. This will sure—”--Megatron

“Hold on. So, you just so happen to have this copy with you… in the closet…”--Buddy

“Yes?”--Megatron

“… Why?”--Buddy

“Because… because… that’s not important right now.”--Megtraon

“I feel like it should be.”--Buddy

“Shh! Now, we have a chance to defeat the—”--Megatron

Buddy and Soundwave having a telepathic conversation about getting rid of the copy as soon as the plan goes south.

They found some solace with Soundwave and the cassettes.

Buddy especially became acquainted with Rumble.

If Buddy was hanging out with one of the cassettes, they were most likely near or with Rumble.

There had been a lot of teasing within the ranks about the two, but nothing serious.

Buddy nor Rumble really minded that much. If fact they sometimes decided to use that teasing to their advantage or entertainment.

“Rumble I swear, if you go after Skywarp now when I’m just about to finish this report I will nail you into the wall with one servo.”--Buddy

“Woah! Buddy--”--Skywarp

“Yeah right! Not before I’d nail YOU to the wall so hard that you’d need the entire med crew to help you get back on your pedes!”--Rumble

“Wait what.”--Skywarp

“Bold of you to assume you could even do that Rumble, especially with your height.”--Buddy

“You guys can’t be— this is a joke right?”--Skywarp

“I guess you have my permission to make Rumble’s life the equivalent to a living mine field or whatever.”--Frenzy

“Oh, I’d be honored then.”--Buddy

“And there you go again with the whole ‘honor bound’ and ‘leader’ thing. Drop the act Buddy.”--Frenzy

“It’s called being polite Frenzy. You should try it sometime.”--Buddy

“Aha! There’s the Buddy I’ve been looking for—Oh Primus…”--Frenzy

“What?”--Buddy

Buddy turns around to see Soundwave and Rumble at the door.

“…”—Everyone in the room

“How much did you two heard?”—Buddy

“Information: Starscream now owes Soundwave 20 shanix. Buddy: permission to court Rumble.”--Soundwave

“Soundwave!”—Rumble and Buddy

“Frenzy…”--Buddy

“I swear I didn’t know they were coming back so early!”--Frenzy

“You have 10 nanoseconds of a head start before I catch up.”--Buddy

Megatron didn’t think too much of this when he heard about it, he thought it was a prank.

… After that day Buddy was seen more with Rumble than before.

Megatron is starting to think that maybe that wasn’t a prank… but it could still be a long prank.

A really long prank…

Buddy never lost their cool in the heat of battle.

Both sides knew this. It was something they could all agree on.

Buddy always had a failsafe in case the plans didn’t work out, especially whenever Megatron was not able to lead. The Autobots knew that it was important to keep their guard up during those times.

Today’s battle didn’t seem so different from the regular scrimmages they had in the past, it was almost a game at this point.

Buddy was fighting with against some of the Lambo twins, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, when they heard their name being called out.

They turned around and they finally got the human saying of ‘everything going in slow motion’.

All they could see was a familiar blast coming straight towards their chassis. They wouldn’t be able to move out of the way if they could. It was going to hit them straight on.

Then Rumble jumped in the way, taking the shot, and fell a few feet from Buddy.

Buddy just stopped and stared at his limp body in horror as well as the Lambo twins and Soundwave. None of them could believe what had just happened.

The twins moved aside when they saw Buddy slowly moving towards him.

Buddy walking up the body falling to their knees.

“Rumble? Rumble this isn’t funny! Wake up! Please, wake up!”--Buddy

The battlefield went still at the sound of an unfamiliar anguished scream.

Buddy was on their knee next to Rumble, servos trembling trying to remember the medical advice Hook had given them not too long ago.

At some point Soundwave came over, but Buddy was focusing on stopping the bleeding with coolant dripping down their faceplate.

Soon the medics arrived. They tried to take Rumble from their servos, Buddy didn’t let go. They opted to instead transport Buddy with Rumble.

Buddy carefully carried Rumble into Astrotrain with Hook.

Everyone else would fly back on their own.

Hook wouldn’t admit it out loud, but he felt sorry for Buddy and let them be by Rumble the entire time grasping his little servo.

“…You know you bought him some time.”--Hook

“What?”--Buddy

“If you hadn’t tried stopping the bleeding, he probably would have been dead 5 minutes ago.”--Hook

“…”--Buddy

“…You did good kid.”--Hook

“… will he—”--Buddy

“I don’t know. It will have to depend on what happens when we get back to base.”--Hook

“…okay…”--Buddy

Soon they all came to the base, Hook needed Buddy to let go, for Rumble’s sake.

Buddy nodded silently and took a seat outside the med bay doors.

As soon as they hit the seat, Buddy let out some stifled sobs and let the coolant run down their faceplate.

Giving a silent prayer to Primus to spare him as their vision blurred once again with all the coolant coming out of their optics.

Buddy staring at their servos, stained with some of Rumble’s energon mixing with their coolant.

“Buddy!”--Frenzy

Buddy turning to see Soundwave and the cassettes coming their way.

“Buddy: Status on Rumble.”--Soundwave

“He… He’s in the med bay now. It looks bad… I’m so sorry.”--Buddy

“Come again?”--Frenzy

“I didn’t protect him. If I’d move faster—”--Buddy

Soundwave grabbing Buddy’s servos gently.

“Rumble status: Not Buddy’s fault.”--Soundwave

“But—”--Buddy

“Not Buddy fault.”--Soundwave

Buddy came around the corner to find Megatron. He motioned Buddy to come to his habsuite.

They sat on the edge of the berth, Megatron sat next to them.

Buddy half expected a lecture from him about being so reckless today, but to their surprise he placed a servo on Buddy’s shoulder.

“I thought I lost you today.”--Megatron

“Come again?”--Buddy

“I had tackled Prime down, he was about to start blasting when I redirected his blaster… if he hadn’t yelled for your name, I wouldn’t have known that the blast was coming to you.”--Megatron

“What…”--Buddy

“I thought… I thought I had killed my sparkling.”--Megatron

“But now Rumble—”--Buddy

“He will get better. If you’d have taken that blow…”--Megatron

“…”--Buddy

“He was… not the mech I’d think have you wrapped around your digit.”--Megatron

“Megatron—”--Buddy

“Definitely not who I expected to be your future Conjux—”--Megatron

“The point is I am glad you are still here with me, little one.”--Megatron

Buddy slipped their helm into their father’s neck cables trying hard not to cry, but he made it harder for them when he started rubbing circles in the back.

Once Rumble was stable, Buddy, Soundwave, and the cassettes ran in to see him.

Buddy let the family have a moment with Rumble first.

“Great to see your up, knuckle head!”--Frenzy

“Quiet down a bit Frenzy, I gotta killer helmache.”--Rumble

“Rumble: Need medics?”--Soundwave

“Nah, I’m fine—What where’s Buddy?”--Rumble

“What?”--Frenzy

“Buddy! Are they okay? The last thing I remembered was—”--Rumble

“Right here.”--Buddy

Rumble looking at Buddy leaning on the doorframe.

Both visibly relaxing.

Buddy moves towards Rumble’s side and slowly grabs his servo.

“You okay?”--Rumble

“Am I, okay? You’re the one who got shot!”--Buddy

“Yeah, not the best. 0 out of 10 stars, do not recommend it.”--Rumble

Buddy laughing wobbly, their hold slightly shaking.

Rumble firmly holds onto Buddy’s servo.

“I thought… I thought—”--Buddy

“Well for the first time in a long time, your wrong. Seriously I after all this time, I’d thought you’d have more faith in me.”--Rumble

“Yeah… never underestimate a minicon, huh?”--Buddy

“Never.”--Rumble

“Soundwave!”—Buddy and Rumble

“Photos for sparklings.”--Soundwave

“Sparklings?!”--Rumble

Buddy faints on to the floor.

“Buddy!”--Rumble

“Well… on the bright side you have a roommate now.”--Frenzy

“I swear if I wasn’t on this berth, I’d knock out that stinkin’ grin off of your faceplate.”--Rumble

Buddy, once they recovered quickly from the fainting spell, used all their free time to visit Rumble in the med bay telling him stories and the latest gossip. He would need a little more care before he would be allowed out in the field, Buddy was prepared to help him with every step.

A few days later another scrimmage held near the same place as the last time.

Except this time Buddy had somehow managed to get in front of Prime.

Buddy didn’t know what possessed them, but they felt so much anger at that moment.

It was his blaster.

It was his fault.

Optimus’s fault for Rumble getting hurt.

For so many of their family members getting hurt.

It.

Was.

His.

Fault.

Buddy lunged at the Prime with what they would describe as something of raw rage, throwing them both off the cliff they were on.

Buddy remembered hearing so much screaming as they both tumbling down the uneven pathway hitting several trees and rocks denting their armor.

When Buddy stopped rolling, they immediately went to see Prime shaking off the fall. He was still disoriented, now was their chance.

Buddy wasted no time clobbering him, leaving no chance to get up or recuperate.

Buddy now partially sitting on Prime’s chassis grabbed a rock in their servo with full intent of smashing it and their servo into his helm.

It would finally be the end.

But they stopped.

What good would this do?

The bots and cons were going to continue to kill each other for revenge until there was one bot left standing.

But… if peace was made…

No more energon spilled.

No more praying to Primus that they would make it to see the sunrise the next day.

A chance live with loved ones by your side no matter what fraction you came from.

Autobot, Decepticon, Neutrals, everyone would be safe.

Buddy shakingly let go of the rock and got off the Prime’s chassis.

Optimus had looked into Buddy’s optics and sensed the sudden change.

When they had that rock in their servo, they held nothing but an angry fire.

But then the fire slowly started dying down until it was smolders of the once raging inferno.

The pair just sat in silence for a minute.

Buddy was the first to stand up and offered the Prime their servo.

He grabbed it as Buddy helped him up and turned to walk away.

“I’m sick of this war. Someday, I hope we won’t have to be enemies in the future.”--Buddy

“Buddy.”--Optimus

“Yes?”--Buddy

“… If you ever wish to join the Autobots, I would welcome you with open arms.”--Optimus

“I’m sorry, what?”--Buddy

“The choice is yours to make. Just know that I too am sick of this war. Sick of the fighting…”--Optimus

“Sick of losing bots we love?”--Buddy

“Yes… but if we unite together, I believe we have a chance, a fighting chance for peace.”--Optimus

“I…I’ll consider it Prime. Farewell, Prime.”--Buddy

“As to you Buddy.”--Optimus

Optimus made one last look and started walking back to base as well.

Buddy continued to walk/limp back when they saw something fly overhead.

It was Lazerbeak.

The minicon flew straight down and landed on their shoulder looking concern at Buddy.

No doubt the minicon had alerted the others where they were.

Lazerbeak also gave Buddy a couple of pecks to the helm, Buddy guessed this was part of their punishment for pulling a stunt like that.

Buddy took this time to sit down on a nearby boulder for a bit. Falling down a cliff at full speed could do something like that to a bot.

Megatron was the first one to arrive to see Buddy leaning on the boulder with Lazerbeak on their shoulder.

He came faster than the others and hugged Buddy like it was their last day on earth.

“What in the name of Cybertron were you thinking?! Jumping off the cliff with Prime like that!”--Megatron

“Kind of wasn’t…”--Buddy

“I can believe that! How could you—”--Megatron

“As much as I love hearing your lecturing, I have a split helmache and my frame feels like its on more hug away from falling apart.”--Buddy

“Hmmm… it seems that the fall was enough punishment.”--Megatron

“Yeah…”--Buddy

“After all you have something much worse to face.”--Megatron

“Wait what?”--Buddy

“Buddy!”--Frenzy

“Oh boy…”--Buddy

Soundwave and the other cassettes followed suite with a small search party.

The cassettes let out a small string of empty threats. They were just glad Buddy wasn’t hurt too badly.

Soundwave helped Megatron get Buddy up on their pedes and flew them back to base.

“Well, I think I went through that punishment faster than I thought.”--Buddy

“That wasn’t your punishment.”--Megatron

“What?”--Buddy

“Buddy punishment: Telling Rumble what happened.”--Soundwave

“WHAT!”--Buddy

“Yeah, you’re on your own there.”--Frenzy

“Nope, no, no, no—”--Buddy

“You don’t have a choice.”--Megatron

“Nice knowing ya Buddy. House arrest is imminent.”--Frenzy

“…Primus help me…”--Buddy

It is set in the G1 Cartoon. Unfortunately, it has grown more character analysis then I intend. I know have much more planned for the MegaShock / MoonShock.

MegaShock is like a childhood romance in this as I am going with the Megatron Was Made and Raised to Lead the Decepticons to Overthrow the Autobots backstory from the cartoon. Except I am applying seriousness to this. Also drawing from the G1 character notes of Soundwave being a blackmailer and feared in his faction and fully willing to overthrow Megaton if needed. They both are aware he's more loyal to the Cause and his Cassettes and have a friendly working relationship as a result of understanding fully where the other stands.

Shockwave in this is the more devoted one and he and Megatron have known each other since they were young as they were both made for Decepticon war effort. Shockwave was left behind while Megatron left with Soundwave and Starscream in the same way historically a king leaves with his generals and their spouse is left behind to "hold the kingdom" and Shockwave was Guardian of Cybertron. It is known that Shockwave is the Conjunx to be and that's part of why there is absolute confidence that he won't betray Megatron and why Shockwave clung to the belief he would return.

There's going to be some deeply emotional moments previously when Shockwave discovered he was carrying and it crushed him because Megatron should have been here. During a attack from Elita's squad to steal supplies due to the recent developments, Shockwave is slower and Moonracer realizes the symptoms in her or the same in him. They get stuck together when she pushes him out of the way and have a bonding moment trapped together while Elita and Shockwave's Seekers worked to get them out. Moonracer comforts him and Shockwave has an emotional moment of weakness. This is what leads to the peace.

Moonracer as the one who saw his moment of weakness supports Shockwave throughout his carrying while everyone else is still wary of the hostile and cool attitude he gives to everyone. She barreled passed this, but respected it when he established a need for space. This led to both of them growing tender feelings as Moonracer admits her lover Powerglide too. The bond over their shared loss and Shockwave's focus switches more and more to focusing on the Decepticons left behind and the future with a child as Moonracer was encouraging.

They finally admitted to having feelings for each other after "Progeny" and Mirage were born.

And then the Earth called and it turns out both their lovers are alive.

The concept of Megs having been made to lead the decepticons has interesting implications to it

OWO on that characterization of Soundwave, I think a lot about that one

Damn, that makes sense (the leaving Shockwave being compared to a king leaving the spouse behind for their own noble duty thing)

Fascinating how Moon and Shockers got together, I'm voting Moonracer noticed first

Which, this love story gets wrenched in another direction as Earth calls and they Learn Some Shit

Megatron hates being doted on, and often pawns the seeker off on Soundwave

Soundwave and Starscream care for each other, as they know how much the other has lost

Shockwave uses Predaking to try and get out of Starscream’s mothering nature, and it backfires when Predaking starts being more loyal to Starscream

Star is very protective of the human children, almost sacrificing himself to keep them safe

Bots are thankful and a bit skeptical when Star gives the children back

Star will lecture the bots about the safety of the children

Lord help them if Starscream ever finds out about Griffin Rock

Cyberverse

All the seekers have to put up with an over protective Starscream, as the seeker is in charge of them

Megs deals with the overprotectiveness, and tries to get Starscream to start his own blog to try and get the cons more freedom

Shockwave hates Starscream’s mothering nature

Soundwave just wants to have fun, and wants Starscream to loosen up a bit

The Autobots are not safe from Starscream’s mothering nature

Hot Rod, Bumblebee, and Windblade have gotten their fair share of lectures from the seeker, as well as cuddles

Earthspark

Star feels betrayed by Megatron, and doesn’t know why Megatron locked him up

Is Soundwave’s support system after the loss of his Cassette, and the other cassettes do trust star still

Skywarp misses Starscream and wants to get him out, but doesn’t know how to keep Star out of the fire fight. Warp wishes that Thundercracker would join her and hep Starscream out.

Armada

Only protective of Alexis

Cares much about the human girl, and wants for her best

Will rescue the other kids, and tries to hide that he cares about them and the other Autobots

Only joins back with the cons so that way they won’t be hurt by Megatron

Energon

Starscream acts on instinct, protecting those who need help

With his memory loss, he knows that he’s missing someone and doesn’t know who it is

Hello, I have more Earthspark theories and observations! Spoilers for episodes 11-18 and welcome under the cut!

Observation about Grimlock!

I noticed that despite being controlled by Mandroid's device, he was holding back against Bumblebee! It's especially noticeable when you see him more actively chasing and firing at Terrans (he doesn't know them, makes sense) or how controlled Hashtag was acting!

In fact, we can see Grimlock shaking and hesitating to attack when Bee was talking to him. Even after he bit Bee's arm, he still didn't even aiming at Bee with fire, even tho Bumblebee was right in front of him!

( Note: idk why, but I suddenly remember the moment from Norse mythology, when Fenrir bites Tyr's hand! Sure gods wanted to chain him, but Tyr was the one who raised him. Bee must be really good with dinobots, maybe one of few friends they have and Grimlock was forced to hurt him. Gosh I can't wait for new episodes to see all the drama!)

No wonder Grim went into rage mode after the device was removed from him. To express all this shit he went through while being controlled. He needs a hug!

A little theory about Bee and GHOST.

I keep thinking about how it's so strange that Schloder was on Bumblebee's trail. Bee was supposed to be dead to GHOST, and even with energon suppressor, they still were after him! Did someone among bots spilled the beans about Bee?

Or Schloder really saw a yellow car appearing in races ( which tbh is still very far-fetched bc yellow cars aren't rarity ahah) and he decided to catch Bee in all costs during all 15 years? Schloder, as silly as he is, was pretty angry at Bumblebee for "deserting Autobots" and he was talking about Bee like he's some kind-of-evil mastermind who takes advantage of good people like Maltos?

What happened? Did Bee accidentally did something to upset Schloder? Or his sister told him some gross lies about Bumblebee being dangerous to humans? So intriguing!

Another thing that bothers me, that yeah, Optimus is absent right now, which is already sus. The only thing we saw is him sending Bumblebee to find Grimlock according to Bee. And Bee said that Optimus got a tip... from who exactly?

Also, why Optimus would send Bumblebee, who's primary role is scouting and espionage, into basically fight-to-death gladiator matches??? Cmon, there are plenty bots who are stronger and more fit to this mission in hiding I'm sure, so why Bee?

Of course, it can be that Bee was tasked to find Grim, and like Bee he is, decided to prove himself and enter the brawls. And sure, he can fight and even win despite being weak he is. Anways, very curious too!

(UPD: Actually to think about it, I won't surprised if Bee went to brawls himself instead of calling for help bc he might feeling guilty for blowing his cover? So risking his life would be his way to make thing right in a way ( like in old comics when blamed himself for letting Ravage escape on his watch and de decided to capture him solo while Optimus is sulking with self-doubt... only to fall into Decepticon trap. Because he didn't see how exactly Bee is doing yet, only knowing he's sad he can't go home.)

I'm getting the impression that GHOST is after Bee, either to catch him, or even get him killed. But why? During trailer I thought that maybe it was to do with AllSpark bc he was carrying it, but we saw Bee quickly passed it to Op and Megs and it was send back to Cybertron. Yet it feels like Croft has some agenda against Bee in particular. Very curious!

Can't wait for new episodes!

(UPD: maybe Croft got a wind that Optimus wants to make a third cybertronian faction outside of her influence ( which the end of ep 10 gave this idea), and I guess they seen that Bee, while inexperienced, still have some leadership traits and she def doesn't want that. esp if Bee is good with humans as well. this will suck for her… unless she get rid of Bee first)
