YANDERE TOKOYAMI HEADCANONS

1. He'd be in love with you either because you're like him or because you're a bright ball of positivity and never ending energy with your optimistic attitude

2. The first time he saw you, he just thought you were a distraction and you were like everyone else. However, Dark Shadow managed to convince him otherwise. After a few days, Tokoyami saw how friendly you were with everyone and how positive and upbeat you were about things, he decided to become your friend and try to get to know you better. Even Dark Shadow thought it would be a good idea to interact with you

3. So, you spent time with BOTH of them and soon, they started catching the feelsy feels for you ;) but were too shy to actually tell you about it

4. They found out that you liked horror movies and when they did, their expressions on their faces were priceless. They never thought YOU of all people would enjoy watching scary stuff but they enjoyed watching them with you

5. Tokoyami LIVED for those moments when you snuggled with him and watched movies with him. It was pure heaven and bliss for him

6. You guys even have the same playlists! How cool is that :) !?

7. Tokoyami's a shy tsundere boi as we all know and pretty soon, his and Dark Shadow's little crush on you turned out to be an obsession. A crazy as hell one that too. Tokoyami was aware that his feelings were crazy, but he just couldn't help it. He couldn't get the way you giggled or laughed out of his head and he LOATHED it when your smiles were directed to someone else

8. Tokoyami has to literally calm Dark Shadow down from going on a murder spree whenever he sees you sharing your beautiful gorgeous smile with someone else. Those pathetic pieces of dirt, those wastes of space didn't even DESERVE to be looked at by you and be graced by your presence. They would often scoff when someone tries stealing your attention away from them and they'll hastily back TF away from you after seeing Tokoyami's death glare. Tokoyami and Dark Shadow view you as a beautiful goddess/god that needs to be saved and protected and they were MORE than willing to be your knights in shining armor to keep you safe

9. Will these guys stalk you? A 100% YES! They don't want anything to happen to you and they prefer calling it ''Keeping a close eye on you for your safety'' but they respect your boundaries and your privacy. They won't watch you shower and all that but they might read your diary and if you write about that guy who flirted with you that day, he won't be seeing daylight anymore THAT'S for sure

10. They might collect gifts and souvenirs from you like your pens and that your favorite little keychain and stuff like that so they can keep in their shrine dedicated for you (YES, like MOST yanderes, these bois have a shrine for you)

11. When the day comes for kidnapping you, Tokoyami won't even have to use drugs and tranquilizers on you. He can always rely on Dark Shadow to take control of you and he'll kidnap you during the night time

12. He won't leave you in a basement nor does he have the heart to chain you up. You'll just wake up with a fluffy quirk cancelling cuff on your leg and while you're screaming and trying to throw stuff at him, he'll just wince and try explaining that this is for your own good and he loved you and he just wanted to keep you safe

13. He might excuse your bad behavior from time to time but if it becomes too often and regular, this boi will not hesitate to show you his dark side and YES, you will be getting nightmares from it. He'll ask Dark Shadow for help when it comes to dealing with you and pretty soon, you're gonna be isolated in a dark room with no source of light and honestly, that sort of treatment is enough for ANYONE to go insane

14. Will he punish you? Yes, no doubt about that. He'll make you see your WORST nightmares and make you regret your behavior but afterwards, you'll just have to earn back his trust by showing him affection and love

15. He isn't the most affectionate and romantic person but he's definitely trying not to make it so awkward when he tries to cuddle with you or pats your head and tries doing other lovey dovey crap that couples usually do

16.When it comes to rivals and getting rid of pests, there's nothing more they like than hearing the sounds of their victims begging them for death. It's like music to their ears. Sometimes they might even force you watch it saying that all you had to do was love them and they won't kill or hurt anyone ever again

Can be manipulative from time to time, but they're gonna treat you well once you develop Stockholm Syndrome. They might even let you out once you've proven to be trustworthy (But not without their supervision of course)

Summer Love (Yandere Fumikage TokoyamixReader)

Request: My I pls ask Yandere Tokoyami x short fem reader. She's originally from anotther coutry and has to go back for the summer.

Absurd. Unthinkable. Unfair. Intolerable. Unallowable. The mere thought of such an utterly cruel injustice was enough to shroud Tokoyami’s heart and soul in complete darkness. His heart broke each time he went an hour without speaking to you, touching you, kissing you, how was he supposed to survive over a month without you? The idea sent his heart raging, sent shadowy flames burning beneath his skin. You were the one star in his night sky, the sole light of his life, and if you left him there would be no light at all. Tokoyami needed you, and that need could not allow you to leave him.

You had told him again and again that you would be coming back, that you would return to Japan once school was back in session. But despite your numerous reassurances, Tokoyami’s fear only grew stronger. What if your family decided to not let you come back? What if you were hurt and he wasn’t there to help you? What if someone stole you away from him? What if they poisoned you against him, filled your head with lies and convinced you to grow afraid of him? Tokoyami refused to let any of that happen. He would do anything to keep that from happening.

“I don’t know why someone would do something like this,” you were sobbing quietly to him. Holding you tight in his arms with your face tucked in the crook of his neck, Tokoyami swayed you gently back and forth, trying to calm you. You were doing better now than before, trembling at least a little less. When you had first come to him, you had been inconsolable, unable to even speak. As soon as Tokoyami had taken you into his arms, Dark Shadow had emerged to hide you both from the world. It had been what you needed, but Tokoyami had to admit that he enjoyed the feeling of truly having you to himself.

“I don’t know either,” he murmured into your ear. “When did this start?”

“About two weeks ago. I started getting texts from this random number, and first I thought they were just spam or something, but then...”

“Then?”

“Then the texts just kept getting more personal. They were about where I was, what I was wearing, what I was doing.”

“Why didn’t you tell me this was happening?” Tokoyami asked softly. Despite the truth of your situation, he couldn’t help but be the slightest bit disappointed that you hadn’t come to him sooner. He was your boyfriend, after all. He should the person you go to for everything.

“I was scared,” you whimpered. “I was worried that it’d make things worse. And I thought that I could handle it on my own.”

“You’re my girlfriend, you don’t need to handle anything on your own. You shouldn’t try to handle things on your own. Look what happened when you tried.”

Burying your head in Tokoyami’s chest, you shook your head in absentminded despair. The image of coming home after school to see piles of pictures of you covering your apartment floor was still at the forefront of your mind. From what you had been able to tell, they had spanned from the past month, though you hadn’t looked at them much before you had called Tokoyami. He had said that he would in the park between your two homes as quick as he could, though little did you know he had already been waiting there for your call.

“I just don’t know what I’m supposed to do.”

“The police came by, right? What did they say?” asked Tokoyami gently.

“They’re going to look into it,” you muttered, “but they said I can’t leave Japan while they investigate.”

“Oh,” Tokoyami said, hiding the dark thrill that rushed through him at the confirmation of what he had so desperately hoped the police would tell you. “What are you going to do?”

“Stay, I guess. I don’t really have a choice. It’s just—”

“What?” Tokoyami pulled back from you just a bit so that he could look at your face, still so breathtaking to him even while covered in tears. It wasn’t that he enjoyed seeing you like this, but each moment with you, whether you were happy or upset was infinitely precious to him. Besides, the thought of you staying within reach lifted a pressing weight off of his shoulders.

“I don’t know if I can stay at my apartment anymore after it was broken into.” Blinking heavily, Tokoyami looked down at you fondly. Of course you were afraid, how could you not be? But that was why he had taken it upon himself to look after you, that was why he couldn’t let you leave him, not even for a short time.

“You’ll stay with me, of course.” Burying your head back in Tokoyami’s chest, you whispered your thanks, just grateful that you had someone who loved you.

Since Keigo goes in and out of his office by his window, you see him a lot less than you thought you actually would

The two of you never crossed paths, until the day he was giving Tokoyami a tour of the building

You were working on some paperwork when you felt a pair of eyes on you, and when you looked for the source, you found Keigo staring at you like a lion and their prey

From that day on, he would always come through the front doors and give you a bold “Hello” or “How are you this morning, my little birdie?”

His stalking style isn’t so secretive

While he’s on patrol, which he schedules himself to be on patrol whenever you have the day off/are on lunch/after your shift ends, he tries to make it look like a coincidence when he bumps into you

At first, you get suspicious, but once the crime rate in your town goes up, totally not because he's ignoring his job you get this idea that he just has to be out more, so of course you're going to be seeing him a lot

Keigo gets jealous easily

So jealous to the point where if he sees you at a restaurant, and the cashier/waiter is a guy, he steps in right away playing the “Oh, I didn’t know I would see you here? How about this meal is on me?” card

When he sees you hugging a someone, he starts to panic

The thought of you being close with anyone that isn’t him bothers him so much. He wants you to himself, and himself ONLY

Once the two of you go your own ways, he keeps track of the person you interacted with, and if they go home to a lover, he pays no mind to it, but if they don't have a lover, they probably won't make it out of the house the next morning

Once you start to get creeped out by Keigo's weird behavior, you start to avoid him like the plague, going to get coffee in the morning when he is supposed to enter the building, taking your own lunch so you won't see him on his patrols, just avoiding him

When Keigo notices he isn’t seeing you as much, he feels a mix of anger and sadness

Que the kidnapping scenario

Already knowing where you live, he goes to your apartment at night and ties you up to take to his house where he plans on keeping you locked up in one of his guest bedrooms

He convinces everyone at work that you quit, and hires a new receptionist, as well as sells your apartment since you won't be needing that anymore!

You’re all his now

He starts obsessing over you because of the one interaction you had in the lunch line at school

He was short on change for some bread he wanted to buy, and you seeing he was only about 30 cents off from the amount, offered to pay the rest for him, it was only 30 cents, what's the big deal?

It wasn't a big deal to you, but to him, its what set him off

He’s more of a secretive stalker because he likes to see what you do when you think no one is looking, he likes to see your raw actions

His quirk makes this a lot easier for him since he can be staring at you through a wall, then just hide when you're about to turn around was his quirk made for this or what?

Mirio doesn't get jealous easily, since he knows your friend group and what they’re like, he doesn't mind when you're laughing away with them, or when you all share hugs during a sentimental moment

He does get jealous when you start meeting new people though

As soon as he sees you interact with someone that's not in your friend group, he's on their case immediately

Being in the top 3 means that his relationships with the staff are great

He has chat with principal Nezu about how that boy you were “buddy-buddy” with was outside smoking a cigarette, and they believe him in a heartbeat. Suspending him as soon as possible

After admiring you from afar for a while, he decides it’ll be more fun to actually get to know you and to witness your emotions first hand.

He tries to make small advances towards you, like saying hi to you in the hallways, or making Tamaki and Nejire to sit with him at the table next to yours

At first, you don't notice nor mind it, but later it soon becomes way too obvious that this guy is obsessing over you

When he notices that you stopped smiling at him and now your eyes avoid his, he gets pretty angry

His anger is what pushes him to kidnap you, and how he does this is by waiting for you to be alone in a hallway after school, where he sneaks through the walls and hits you in the back of the head just hard enough to make you pass out

Once he brings you to his house he hides you in his room, tied up

At school, he convinces everyone that you transferred to another school and how you changed your number so now no one will be able to contact you

He can't help but smile as he walks into his room and sees you there tied up, ready for him to have fun with

You’ve never expected the leader of the infamous Karasutengu to be... short. His height should be the last thing on your mind since you were supposed to be more concerned with the fact that a flock of evil birds was currently blocking your path.

Perhaps this was what you wanted; a distraction. Something that could be used as an excuse to return to your home because there was just no way you would marry a stranger, regardless if he lived in the neighboring village. You didn’t – and would never – agree with this arrangement, so why should you bother acting like you were excited about the meeting? It would be better if he was nice... But what if he was secretly a devil reincarnation? What if he was a cheating bastard? What if he was a manipulative jerk? The possibilities were endless and became worse than before. Even though it was unfair of you to judge someone before meeting them, a small part of you wished to rebel. To fight back. To leave and never look back.

And God did grant your wish, yet this still wasn’t what you wanted. This wasn’t what you were expecting. But were you really in the position to protest? Did you deserve to complain when you’ve been praying for something to happen? After all, you didn’t explicitly stated that you wanted something good. And a vague wish could be interpreted as many things, including the bad ones.

Therefore, you had no right to gripe when one of the crows was holding you as a hostage.

“So, what will you choose?” The leader – whom you learned his name was Tokoyami – spoke up after a moment of tensed silence. He crossed his arms over the dark yamabushi* robe that he wore, crimson irises studying your father’s conflicted expression. His voice was deep in contrast to his ‘young’ appearance, and you couldn’t deny the way your heart picked up fearfully upon hearing it. “Do you want to let us go with your daughter in peace, or kill your entire family?”

Your father appeared to mull over the difficult choices; the dilemma which was profoundly shared with your sniffling mother. Scratches littered their faces and limbs from the abrupt assault that took the carriages and horses down. Once the gravity of the situation dawned in – once they realized that they were being surrounded by a bunch of yokai that had no qualm in finishing them off – your usually calm mother burst into tears. And you couldn’t blame her for reacting that way because even you knew that there was little to no chance of you escaping with them.

It was either you follow the crows or your family die.

It was either your or their safety.

It was either self-preservation or child protection.

“Please! It doesn’t have to end this way, right?” your father tried to plead regardless of its futility. Once the crows made up their minds, they would rarely change. They became a force to be reckoned with. Unstoppable. And it was bad news for your pacifistic father who liked to use negotiation instead of violence to settle things down. “You could... You could take our jewelry or anything your heart desires. Just please, don’t take my daughter away.”

Tokoyami squinted his eyes in displeasure before turning around. He raised a hand and flicked his wrist towards your parents, who stood disquietingly. “Kill them and take all the jewelry,” he ordered callously.

You watched in horror the crows that brutally stabbed and slashed your parents with their swords after a second of rambunctious caws and hoots at his demand. You tried to struggle – to save them however impossible it might seem – only to be held back by your cackling captor.

“No...” you sobbed, the sickening sight and stench of blood floating in the air overwhelmed your senses. “No, no, no, no! Mother, father!”

Tokoyami closed his eyes and hummed. “It is their fault for refusing to choose.” Peering over his shoulder, he added quietly, “They should’ve known better than to negotiate with Karasutengu. Haven’t they heard about the rumors? We take what we want, with or without force.”
