waahh thank you, i hope u like it! and omg i can honestly relate to this. i mean i love oversized clothing but whenever i borrowed my ex's hoodies they were literally massive.

𝐊𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐎 𝐓𝐄𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐎

the nights in tokyo truly were chilly, you're not sure if you'll ever get used to them even being the manager of a team from tokyo. but despite the windy weather, you still make your way to one of the gyms in the camp without a jacket, water bottles in hand.

upon hearing the familiar sounds of volleyballs hitting the ground, you let out a sigh of relief and follow the concrete pavement towards the building.

once entering, you call out for the players, "i've got some towels. the lot of you are going to get sick if you walk in this chilly weather while sweating." you inform them matter-of-factly.

tsukishima only responds in grunts and grumbles as he takes the towel from you, akaashi a firm nod, and the other two enthusiastic thumbs up. you chuckle and offer a smile in return, handing kuroo the cloth last.

a heavy breeze suddenly rushes into the gym and it sends a chill down your spine. nekoma's volleyball captain tilts his head at this, abruptly noticing your lack of a coat.

"why aren't you wearing a coat?"

"i was but i gave it to one of the other managers still awake earlier in the night." you begin to rub your arms to stimulate heat. "she didn't have one on and the poor girl looked like she was freezing."

kuroo tuts at your explanation, promptly marching away and returning with a red jacket you grew overly acquainted with.

"well, you can borrow mine for the time being. it's the least i can do to repay you for spending your evening like this."

he drapes it over your shoulders and you feel his hands linger for a moment before he pulls back to his original position. it's a relief you don't take note of the pink dust on his cheeks.

you smile and thank the taller boy, flushing at the gesture as you hook your arms into the sleeves.

it's then that you're hyper aware of the size of kuroo's jacket. it was practically engulfing you, and the noise of his laugh gets you all the more flustered.

"hey, what are you laughing at?!"

kuroo shakes his head, a sheepish grin present on his face. "it's just that," he hesitates, "you look adorable right now."

𝐁𝐎𝐊𝐔𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐎

it's no surprise that accidents were a common occurrence with the team's captain. considering that bokuto can be an airhead at times, you knew that adjusting to his personality would be best. but sometimes he just had to catch you off guard, didn't he?

it was the last day of training camp, fukurodani vs. karasuno in their final practice match.

karasuno had the advantage of a wide point gap, but in the end your school triumphed, with the last point having been attained by the ace.

now you had your back turned as you were busy screwing on the caps of the water bottles meant for your players, so you couldn't notice a certain owl getting closer and closer to you. and bokuto was too preoccupied with celebrating to realize you were in the vicinity.

before long, the pair of you crashed into each other. and safe to say the feeling of thin white fabric clinging onto your skin drenched in water was not very pleasant.

you hear a gasp and someone screeching your name in a panic—a few curses here and there until the aforementioned person began apologizing.

"calm down, it's okay!" you practically yell over bokuto's words, "i get it was an accident, don't worry."

"yeah but– you're shirt.." he promptly eyes you down. you take a look at the state you're in and sure enough, the t-shirt is almost see-through.

the other managers quickly yell for the other boys to avert their gazes whereas bokuto rushes to retrieve his club jacket.

the ace holds it up to you once he's back, "here use this!" and you reluctantly take it. after all you didn't have an extra shirt on hand so this was the next best option. you thank bokuto and slip the jacket on, zipping the front to cover yourself.

oh wow, this is huge. you think as the jacket nearly swallows you whole.

"cute..."

the single word catches both you and bokuto by surprise. you turn to him a little taken aback, face flushing. but he's already looking at you with his cheeks housing a faint pink hue.

he truly just has to catch you off guard, doesn't he?

𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 ˖° haikyuu boys ¡! ♡

a/n: this is an old post i uploaded on my hq blog from 2020. this was one of my favorites so I thought it was be nice to post it again. back then, i went with the ones i wrote for so i'm keeping it just the way it is. i’m really sorry if your favorite isn’t there. i hope you guys like them !!

atsumu, ushijima, daichi ⥼ the sweetheart cradle. i personally think this would be his go to cuddling position. his arm wrapped around you, holding you close while he lays on his back, your head buried deep into his chest while you inhale the scent of his cologne. most definitely pats or strokes your head as a sign of comfort or whispers nothing but comforting words to you.

suna, kageyama, tsukishima ⥼ the leg hug. i don’t know why, but this is definitely you guy’s go to. the two of you would be chilling on either one’s bed, sleeping, on the phone, playing games etc. while one of your legs are entangled together. it’s much more relaxing to him and you both get the physical contact you were craving from each other.

oikawa, sugawara, kita, asahi ⥼ the honeymoon hug. oikawa loves the physical affection between you two and whenever he’s feeling touch starved this is his go to. the both of you are entwined together, holding the other tight, arms wrapped around each other - almost as if refusing to let go. his chin (or yours) is delicately propped up on top of yours. he can feel your breath against the crook of his neck and he adores it. sometimes find him or yourself peppering soft kisses on the other.

bokuto, lev, yamaguchi ⥼ the spoon. he loves cuddling, especially when it’s with you. he mostly loves cuddling after a long day a practice when he’s beat and worn out. he lives for having his arms securely around your torso while your back is pressed up against his chest. you would sometimes find his hands caressing your sides or arms and he’d be eager to leave the most tender kisses against the back of your neck.

hinata, osamu, noya, tanaka ⥼ the butt pillow. you or him laying on your stomach while the other has their head propped up on your butt. also an easy way to tease his s/o. he loves it. the “best pillow in the room” and the only one you guys want to lay your head against. it’s common if he strokes/caresses your leg, might even draw an invisible heart on it.

tendou, kuroo, iwaizumi, semi ⥼ the cradle. he enjoys when you're laying on top of him, legs on either side of his body, cradling him while his arms hold you firm against his chest. you listen to the sound of his heartbeat and almost find yourself falling asleep to the soothing, rhythmic sound.

kenma, sakusa, akaashi ⥼ the lap pillow. he’s fond of laying his head in your lap and often finds himself doing it every time he comes over to your place and vice versa. play with his hair, stroke his cheek with your finger, boop his nose, bend over to place kisses on his face - all of them would make him melt. loves peering up at your face from that angle and admires just how attractive you are.
