Take Care of You

"Actually, it's interesting…"
In all honesty, the contents of your wine glass was the most interesting thing at the table. Between the appetizer and main course, it has become apparent that this date had been a mistake. The downtown restaurant was quite popular and loud, easy to drown out the one-sided conversation from across the table about whatever was incredibly interesting. Had he even asked a question all night?
Smiling your way through dinner and dessert, he rambled on until the bill was paid and you could finally slip on your coat to leave.
"Thank you for a lovely evening," you said at the main entrance of the restaurant.
"Let me take you home." It was a statement more than a suggestion. Protesting was futile as his car pulled up from the valet and, with a sigh, you gave in.
"Thank you, again," you said as he parked his car and started to walk you towards the Towers, not taking the hint.
"Let me get you safe inside," he offered, placing a hand on the small of your back. Cringing, you gently guided his hand away and turned to face him.
"Thank you," you said all the more sternly. "I can take it from here."
He frowned, as if he had something to say, and then his eyes darted behind you for a split second before saying a quick good night and leaving. You spun on your heel to find a shadowed figure emerging, hands in his pockets and a scowl on his face. Steve.
You let out a breath, a little thankful, a little frustrated. Of course, one of the most emotionally unavailable bachelors in America would be your knight in shining armor. He walked up, looking between you and the man bee-lining it to his getaway vehicle. "Don't start, Rogers." You didn't need a lecture after the night you had.
His hands shot up in animated defense. "Only here if you need me."
He held the door open, waiting patiently as you strutted toward the entrance. Maybe he was emotionally unavailable, but he was still Captain America, and you'd be damned if the little dress you wore went to waste. You passed by him, imagining how confident and sexy you must appear when your heel caught on the door frame, tripping you forward. On instinct, Steve grabbed your hand and waist before you landed on your face. Adrenaline rushed through your veins for a moment, and when you turned your head, he was closer than expected. "You okay?"
"Guess I needed you after all," you laughed a little breathy, attempting to lighten the mood amidst him everywhere on you–his hands hovered on your hip and back, his chest pressed against yours, his face only inches away.
He smiled warmly, helping you upright. "Let's get you upstairs."
The glass elevator held a perfect view of the skyline, and you watched the planes above while waiting to reach the main loft. Leaning against the railing, you slipped off your heels, your feet finally rejoicing.
"Bad date?" he asked, trying to make small talk.
"I don't think he even remembered my name." He chuckled quietly, sliding his hands into his pockets. The elevator doors opened and he walked in stride with you down the hall while you gave him the play-by-play highlights of your disaster of a date. He paused when you reached the front of your bedroom door.
“I dunno,” you said with a sigh. “Somehow I just continue to attract the self-absorbed assholes. Maybe that's just the type I'm meant to be with.”
He shook his head. “Don't think that. You deserve better.”
“You really think so?”
He gave you a look like it was obvious. “Come on, you're too good of a girl to end up with someone like that.” His words made you smile, and they lingered in your mind long after you had said good night, making you wonder if anyone took care of the captain the way he took care of you.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
Pancakes and coffee. That was all you could think about in the morning, and the aromas wafting from the kitchen brought some of the team to slowly trickle out.
"So, how was the date?" Natasha asked, pouring a large cup of coffee and settling in a seat near the kitchen island. You gave her a look. "That bad?"
You turned to flip pancakes and pour more batter on the skillet. "Let's just say I'm glad Steve was there to send him on his way without a word."
Natasha raised an eyebrow at Steve, who shook his head like it was nothing, but she gave him an amused look.
When you turned back around with a fresh stack of pancakes, you were faced with hungry eyes. "Alright, you guys have to share!"
Taking your share of the prepared breakfast, you settled into a chair at the island.
"So, is that a no to any future blind dates?" Natasha asked.
"That's a definite no. But I will absolutely say yes to a date with you at that new club downtown."
"Alright, alright, we'll go. Steve, what do ya' say? Wanna join us and make it a threesome?" she asked, leaning up against him.
Flustered and choking on his coffee, he turned three shades of red and shook his head. "No no, you ladies have fun."
You and Natasha sighed in unison. "Suit yourself."
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
Your night out with Natasha was magical. The club was classy and modern, the kind where you'd find paparazzi hiding out. Both men and women lined up to buy you and Natasha drinks, join the VIP lounge, and dance the night away.
By the early morning hours, you had stumbled back into the loft with Natasha, giggling and shushing one another way too loudly. Natasha went to the kitchen, making a racket of noise with glasses and cupboards while you laid down on the couch, feet aching from hours of dancing. A glass shattered on the floor, followed by Natasha cursing and a very tired and irritated Captain storming out of his room.
"Seriously Nat?"
"Sorry dad," she said, attempting to pick up bits of glass from the floor. Steve sighed, running his hands through his hair.
"Just stop, your gonna cut yourself. Go to bed, I'll take care of it."
She was stubborn, but he was firm, and soon she was scampering out of the kitchen and down the hall to her room. Steve sighed and you heard the sweeping of the broom, the metal grating of the dustpan.
When he shut off the kitchen light, you sat up from the couch. "You're good at that."
Steve turned and practically jumped, placing a hand on his heart. "Jeez, you scared me half to death!"
"Sorry," you said meekly.
"Have you been drinking too?" He didn't sound upset or accusational. More amused.
Putting your index finger and thumb close together, you scrunched up your face in guilt, making him laugh. "Alright, come on."
He offered his hand out and you took it, faltering when you stood. "I see Nat forgot how much of a lightweight you are," he joked.
"Hey," you said and smacked him on the chest. His eyes crinkled when he smiled, looking down and holding you in his arms for a moment. You felt so small in his arms and swallowed the lump in your throat before breaking the silence. "You take care of everyone."
"Is that what I'm good at?"
You nodded.
"I guess I do," he said, and in one swift movement hooked his arm under your legs, causing you to squeal while he carried you down the hall.
The room was dark, illuminated only by the faint light of the moon. He laid you down on the bed and sat next to you. "Need anything before I go?"
You took hold of his hand and he looked down at the touch. "Steve… Does anyone ever take care of you?"
He considered the question. "The team takes care of me when it's needed."
You shook your head. "No." And then, heart pounding in your boldness, you sat up and climbed over to straddle him. Arms wrapped around his neck and his breath grew heavy. "Does anyone take care of you…like this?"
You leaned in slowly, in case he was uncomfortable, in case you were reading it wrong, but he allowed you to kiss him, and after a moment, his lips responded, his hands slow and steady guiding up your legs, your hips, your back. He whispered your name, a question, a desire, a need.
He pulled back to look at you, a little in shock, a little in lust. Like he wanted to be good, but he also wanted you. "You're… you've been drinking."
Your head tilted to the side. Should have known–always the chivalrous one. "Steve, I want you."
Kisses trailed down his neck and across his jaw line as you spoke.
"Let me take care of you," you whispered, pulling up the end of his T-shirt until he allowed you to pull it over his head. He was torn, hesitant. He didn't allow his desires to normally take precedence over honor. But, this time, he did. Hands ran over his thick chest, his hardened abs, to play with the little grooves on his hip bones. "Sit back," you ordered, and he obediently listened, watching with want and desire while your fingers hooked into his shorts and underwear, sliding them down in one go.
His cock sprang forth from its confines, already hard and pulsing and wet from precum, and your eyes went wide at how incredibly well-endowed he was. The ladies had all speculated at how big the super soldier actually was, but you'd never imagined…
You knew then how you wanted to take care of him. With a devilish smirk you crawled up, your tongue running along the underside of his cock, never breaking eye contact. A little moan escaped him, making you want to hear the range of all his noises. Your fingers stroked at his balls as you slowly guided your tongue along his shaft, causing his breath to shutter.
His fingers ran through your hair and when you lifted your head he brushed your cheek with his thumb.
"God, you are gorgeous," he whispered. You closed your eyes and then took him full in your mouth and down your throat. The response he gave was guttural, claiming your name when you took a breath, only to go down again. In that moment, you were in control and he was yours. His breaths became faster, his moans more frequent, and you knew he wouldn't last much longer. But that was perfectly fine; you were here to take care of him.
Your mouth became hot and full of him and was swallowed down like it was nothing. It took a moment for him to catch his breath and come back down from his high and he started to ramble, from embarrassment or being unsure of what to do. You shushed him gently, curled up next to him, and grabbed his hand to wrap his arm around you.
He laid there quietly, kissed your shoulder and fell asleep in your bed. But in the morning, he was gone.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
You weren't surprised. Disappointed, sure. But not surprised. More than a dozen times you had reminded yourself that Steve Rogers was emotionally unavailable. But that didn't stop your drunk ass from what you did last night.
In the light of the morning, you were determined to not walk out of your room looking like some drunken whore. You'd be damned if you were someone he regretted. Extra time was taken to scrub yourself clean, brush your teeth twice, and make yourself not only presentable, but gorgeous.
Taking a breath, you walked out to the foyer. Natasha looked up from her cup of coffee, a tired smile on her face. "Sorry I bailed on you last night. I don't even remember what happened. Where did you go?"
You shook your head at her apology. "No, it's fine. I just passed out."
Natasha raised a curious eyebrow at you. "No midnight romping?"
You laughed, maybe a little too loudly. "Nothing of the sort, I can assure you."
She hummed in response. "Morning Captain."
Your eyes went big for a slight moment as he passed behind, a scent of evergreen lingering behind. "Morning," he acknowledged evenly.
Pulse starting to race, you slipped into the kitchen before Natasha could question you further. Pouring a cup of coffee (the larger, the better after the night you had), Steve walked in casually.
"Morning agent," he said, grabbing a carton of eggs from the fridge.
"Hi," you said, stirring your coffee as if it was the most fascinating cup of coffee you'd ever laid eyes on.
"Sleep well?"
You raised your eyes up to meet his, a small smirk on your face. "Yes…" you said slowly. Was he playing a game with you?
Steve waited until he was sure Natasha was gone and out of earshot. Then, crossing his arms and studying the floor, he said, "Listen, I need to apologize for last night."
You blinked but kept silent, stirring your coffee and watching him. He was infuriating! Just wouldn't let you have that moment with him.
"I took advantage of the situation and should have stopped it before it went that far," he continued.
Your breaths were even through your nose, but internally you were screaming. As frustrated as you were, you knew there was no point in arguing. Once he had gotten something in his mind as fact, there was no convincing him otherwise.
Sighing, you made to leave the room. "Whatever you need to tell yourself, Steve."
He grabbed your bicep as you passed by, making you pause in your tracks. "It can't happen again."
You looked from his grip on your arm to his piercing stare and bit to your lip to refrain from screaming at him.
"Got it," you choked out, and pulled away.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
It was easier to just avoid him in the following weeks. If he hadn't made a thing of it, you could have gone back to being friendly and flirty. But he didn't make things easy
You chose the missions he wasn't on and made excuses for the ones he joined. But it was hard; you missed him, his kindness, his stories, his listening ear. He was your leader and you just felt…lost.
There was no use in regrets, but sometimes you'd wonder if you'd make a mistake and lost a friend.
It was a strangely quiet Saturday night for most of the team. After a few weeks of intense missions and undercover work, it was nice to finally have a break. The last thing you wanted was to go out to a bar or club and Natasha agreed. Giving you a look like she was up to no good, she pulled out a deck of cards and a bottle with a language you couldn't translate.
"What are you doing, Nat?" you asked with a warning tone.
"Making our own fun. We aren't a couple of spinsters. If we don't want to go out, doesn't mean we can't still have a little fun," she said with a wink.
You smiled while shaking your head. "You're the worst influence."
"No, I'm the best. Now round up whatever boys are still around."
You trailed down the hall and paused at Steve's door. Knocking, you prayed that he wouldn't answer, but the door opened before you could slip away.
"Hi," he said, crossing his arms. He appeared standoffish, but there was a kindness in his eyes.
"Hey, um, Nat is setting something up out there. Wanted everyone to join."
He raised an eyebrow. "What did she pull out from her bag of tricks this time?"
"Box of cards and a bottle of something."
"Blue label? Foreign writing?"
"Yeah." As silly as it was, you missed this–the normalcy, the casual chat, feeling comfortable with him again. There was a beat where you two locked eyes, getting lost for a moment. You opened your mouth to say something, a sorry, an I miss you, anything, but he beat you to the punch.
"I think I'm gonna stay in tonight, but… you should be careful with that bottle. Asgardian firewater isn't for the faint of heart."
He started to close the door. "Steve?"
He paused, but the words caught in your throat and you just stood there like an idiot.
"Have fun," he said, and hearing your name on his lips brought it all back. You wondered if he thought about it as much as you did.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
He was right about the firewater. Natasha had poured you a shot and it burned like kerosene going down. You shuttered, turning the bottle to study its label. A hand reached out, clasping the shot glass and pulling it to the side. Your eyes followed the hand to the dark haired Asgardian prince who leaned toward you.
"Please do not tell me you drank this in a shot glass."
You smirked at him. "Blame Nat. I just do as I'm told."
Shaking his head at your naivety, Loki refrained from engaging on your comment further and slid the used shot glass to the sink, pulling a clean large glass from the cabinet.
"If you're going to drink this, you're at least going to learn how to make a proper Asgardian beverage out of it." He rolled up his sleeves, rummaging through the bar and pulling out an assortment of bottles and citrus fruit.
"You making me a drink or breakfast, Loki?"
He stood, pointing a paring knife at you. "Hush. Now come around here, you're making it yourself."
He taught you how to skin the rind off an orange without the pith, instructed you to juice a lime, showed you the measurements for the other spirits to add before pouring it over the liquor. He didn't touch you, but his close proximity somehow still made you feel warm.
"Stir it, slowly” he drawled. “The point of this isn't to rush and hit your high as fast as possible. Savor it, enjoy yourself."
He slid the glass toward you and watched as you took a sip, an eyebrow raised in a question. Your eyes widened as that first sip went down, not burning like fire, but sweet like honey. "It's good. Thank you Loki."
Satisfied, he leaned forward, palm landing on the back of your arm to whisper in your ear. "Now don't let me catch you with that shot glass again. You deserve more than just a quick fix."
You took a short breath in as you laughed nervously, something twisting deep inside. Was he…flirting with you? Your eyes darted to the side to see Steve talking to Tony, but watching you. He turned, patting Tony on the back before walking straight out the door, his jaw firmly set.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
The night had been fun, playing an assortment of card games. Loki and Thor attempted to teach everyone a complicated version of Asgardian poker, which turned into peals of laughter. You wiped your eyes, both from laughing so hard and feeling exhausted, when Loki stood. "Thank you for a pleasant evening, but it is time for me to retire for the night."
You nodded and yawned on cue. "Me too. Goodnight guys."
Natasha shuffled the cards and dealt out a hand to the rest of the night owls, saying a quick good night.
You followed Loki the short distance down the hall to your separate bedrooms. "Sorry Loki, I think we're a little hopeless at learning your game."
"If my brother can master it, there is hope for you all yet. Plus," he paused, turning to you in front of your door, "it seemed like a welcome distraction for you."
You looked up at him, a little alarmed at his observation. Hadn't you been more discreet watching the front door for Steve? Apparently not.
"Oh, I…" you stuttered, but he shook his head and put a hand on your arm to reassure you.
"No need to be embarrassed, little one. I wasn't trying to pry. It was just nice to see you carefree and smiling again."
He was right, it was a nice change. You were tired of walking on eggshells and needed an attitude shift.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
You couldn't sleep that night though, as tired as you were. Between Loki's flirty antics and Steve's frustrating behavior, your mind was swimming and needed to be cleared. After tossing and turning, the blankets were finally ripped off and gym clothes slipped on, deciding a quick workout would help.
Earpods turned on, you entered the gym and started up the treadmill. A mile in and sweat starting to drip, a resounding boom caused you to pull out your earbuds. Pausing on the edge of the treadmill, you pulled out an earbud to listen, a rhythmic pattern of beats down the hall. That was odd, you thought you'd be alone at this hour.
"Hello?" you called out, wiping the sweat from your forehead and chest and following the sound. You opened the door to an open studio used for combat practice and paused in the doorway. On the opposite side of the room, Steve focused on a punching bag, his back muscles rippling and contracting within a tight T-shirt. Standing mesmerized, you watched as he worked the bag until one final blow busted it off the hook and he went to grab a new one.
His eyes turned up and locked on yours, startling you out of your trance. "Sorry. I…" you fumbled at your words.
"Can't sleep?" he asked.
You shook your head. "Came down here to clear my head."
"Yeah," he said, hooking the bag on with one arm. "I've been trying to do that for a while now."
"Well, I'll let you get back to it." You made your way toward the door. Halfway through the door frame, he said your name, staring at the bag, making you pause. "I haven't… I haven't been able to sleep for a while. I can't stop thinking about that night."
You almost didn't hear him, almost asked him to repeat himself. When he turned to look at you, you were like a deer caught in headlights. Too afraid to move or look away.
"I know that I shouldn't. And I tried to stop myself, tried to push you away and ignore you. My focus should be on the team and our missions. That's why I told you it couldn't happen again."
He unwrapped the boxing tape from his hands, walking toward you.
"But I can't get you out of my head. You're all I can think about."
You ignored the pounding of your heart and the tingling in your core. He was so close to you now, and you were furious. How dare he say all this after how he treated you! You wanted to slap him, yell at him, anything to show him how much pain and frustration he had caused you. But then, his next words cut to your core: "I'm so sorry. I miss you."
His blue eyes searched your own, no doubt looking for a sign that you would forgive him. He hesitantly raised a hand slowly up to your cheek, thumb brushing along your cheekbone, melting your resolve and angry exterior with the swipe of his hand. Who were you kidding? You missed him too.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
The sun was creeping up along the horizon when your eyes opened. Your bed was warm and cozy and your arm clutched onto the arm wrapped around your body.
You turned slightly, Steve still asleep and breathing steadily. The man was probably exhausted from his lack of sleep the last few weeks. It didn't help that you both stayed up late the night before as well.
He had walked you back to your room after your encounter in the gym, stood outside your door to wish you good night like the gentleman he was trying to be. No, he was a gentleman, he reminded himself; only you had ignited something inside him that he was fighting hard to resist. You gripped onto the edge of his T-shirt and pulled him into the room with a coy smile that he reciprocated.
Neither knew what to do, and you didn't want him to feel like you were expecting him to reciprocate for the prior night together. After keeping your distance from him for weeks, you just knew that you wanted to be near him again.
"For the record, I missed you too Steve." You grabbed two water bottles from the fridge, tossing one across the room to him.
He downed half the bottle before recapping it. "I'm not very good at this. I've spent too long focused only on whatever the mission is and not anything else."
"This," you said, gesturing between the two of you, "can be whatever we want it to be. I just know that I want you back in my life. However you want that to be."
He nodded, taking in your words. Then stood and walked over to you leaning against the dresser. His blue eyes looked down to yours and you could feel your heart instantly picking up pace. He could probably hear what he was doing to you by the uptick of your pulse, but didn't let on. "However I want?"
You nodded, words lost to you. Even though you had had him once before, he still made your nerves twist. He leaned down and kissed you then, and it felt like you both let go of a breath that was held for far too long.
When he pulled away, you almost whined, wanting more.
"Let's start by taking care of you," he said, and gripped your ass to sit you on the dresser.
With easier access, he trailed kisses down your neck, body shivering in response. He pulled you into him and you wrapped your legs around his waist. Lifting you up, he carried you easily to your bed and gently set you down, hovering over you.
“What do you want?” he asked, and you knew that his question was meant for more than just pleasure.
You hooked your finger into the hem of his t-shirt, bringing his lips to yours. A girl could get used to those soft lip caresses. The warmth of his hand traveled underneath your shirt, up your ribcage to the curve of your breast, and you gasped as his fingertips circled your nipple. He pulled his lips back from yours to watch the expression on your face, and with a little hesitancy, you told him, “I want to be yours.”
It was like you had lighted a fire within him with your words, and he engulfed you in flames. Your leggings were removed, his lips trailing kisses lower and lower until he was in between your thighs, finding solace in your warm folds. His tongue was like a flint, unyielding until sparks flew. Without mercy, he gripped onto your thighs, making you rise higher and higher. You gripped onto his hair, moaning his name at a higher octave until you fell into bliss, and were cradled in his arms.
There was no telling what would become of you and him, but for the moment, you would take care of each other.

In this last moment of innocence before episode 5 comes out I've decided to share with my future self my biggest fears and dreams for the series, so that I can look at them in a week or so and rationally decide the destiny of Marvel.
I will have to burn Marvel to the ground if one or more of these things happen:
Mobius sacrifices himself and does not come back (at least not as the Mobius we know)
Loki sacrifices himself so that all his friends can go back to their timelines
Loki sacrifices himself and Mobius keeps working for a (redeemed) TVA on his own
Sylvie ends up with Mobius as a love interest
Sylkie canon
Mobius is a Thor's Variant
Mobius is a variant of anything/anyone else
Loki is in any way related to Mobius (brother, son, cousin, whatever)
Mobius and Loki say goodbye, Loki leaving to manage the TVA with Sylvie and Mobius staying on his timeline
The original timeline Mobius is dead so Mobius stays behind to take his place without Loki
I'll have to thank Marvel and potentially build a monument to it if one or more of these things happen (not in order of importance):
Mobius sacrifices himself for Loki but comes back safe and happy to stay with him
Loki sacrifices himself for Mobius but comes back safe and happy to stay with him. Bonus: Loki uses the phrase "Glorious purpose" when Mobius tries to stop him and it's clear their friendship has become the real glorious purpose of Loki's life
Loki is Mobius' original nexus event
Mobius stays on his original timeline and Loki decides to remain by his side. Bonus: Mobius has kids and Loki adopts them too
Loki and Mobius save the day and they go off to save timelines together. Bonus: when bidding them goodbye, Sylvie makes a joke about their being starstruck lovers and we understand it's not so much of a joke
Lokius openly canon, with love declaration, actual kiss, forehead touching and/or hand holding (big big plus for the Marvel monument thing I mentioned)
The Loki who's traveling through time is responsible for many of the things we saw in the first two seasons and most of them were done to get Mobius' memories back (i.e. the jetsky magazine on Mobius' desk)
The moment Mobius' memories come back is a VERY emotionally-charged one and it's also a big hint to Lokius
Chris Hemsworth's Thor is back for a short scene, and watching Loki interact with Mobius he understands that his brother is happy and has finally found the love he deserves
"We're in a time loop of our own" means something MUCH bigger than we understood at first
"Love is..." and the answer hints at something Loki and Mobius share so we understand the writers are implying theirs IS a love story, after all
We understand that the relationship between Loki and Mobius has always, surprisingly been the whole point of the whole show

For Me {Loki x GN!Reader}
Summary: A soul for a soul… Except neither of you are willing to let the other go. (Avengers ‘Endgame’ AU)
A/N: I apologise in advance.
Warnings: Death
Tumblr media
“What you seek lies in front of you… In order to take the stone, you must lose that which you love… An everlasting exchange. A soul… for a soul.”
“Bit of a mood killer, isn’t he?”
Your gaze stayed fixed on the cliff’s edge from a safe distance away, your eyes flickering towards Red Skull - the keeper of the soul stone. Loki stood beside you, his gaze also fixed ahead. His mind was racing, processing the words that had been spoken to them.
A soul for a soul.
His hands clenched at his sides, jaw tensing as he let out a heavy breath. Your tone was wry, trying to hide your own turmoil over what you’d been told.
“I believe him.” Loki said lowly, voice unwavering despite how he felt within. It was a cruel twist of fate. A cruel jest. The time Loki was on the correct side… Wanting to make amends, get his redemption… Make up for the mistakes he’d made in his life… All of it. And now…
“Thanos did come here with a daughter and left with a stone… and one less daughter…” You breathed out, licking your lips anxiously. “Pretty big coincidence as they go.” You murmur, slowly turning to face Loki, finally looking up at him. Loki followed suit, turning to look at you, blue eyes meeting yours.
“Maybe… Maybe he’s lying.” Loki shrugged, shaking his head, trying to come up with any excuse, any skepticism even if the evidence was stacked against them. The wind blew through the two stone towers either side of you, the cold biting your skin. You raised a brow that said ‘we both know he isn’t’. “Alright, maybe he’s telling the truth.” Loki conceded with a small nod, voice a low rumble in his chest.
“Whatever it takes.” You searched his eyes. “That’s what we said. What we all agreed on.” You stared at each other in silence, Loki feeling his heartbeat quicken, pressure mounting every passing second. You didn’t have time. This was it. The chance to save all those people, undo what Thanos had done.
“We did.” Loki raised his chin faintly, taking a deep breath.
“Well, no point in dragging this out.” You cleared your throat, turning away from him as you faced towards the deadly drop once again. Loki took a moment, before your words registered. His brows furrowed, eyes fixed on your profile. Narrowing his eyes as he studied you, he could see resolve in your features, and it became clear… Taking a slow, measured step forwards, he angled himself in front of you.
“You aren’t seriously suggesting…” He trailed off, frown etched onto his face.
“I failed, Loki.” You spoke low, measured. “I was one of Earth’s protectors and I failed. This is our chance… To bring those people back, to fix it.” Your voice held conviction, determination… Despite the faint tremble Loki detected. He felt his chest tighten at the notion of you sacrificing yourself. He couldn’t allow it. He would not allow it.
“And you think I’d just-“ He raised a brow, a hand raising in a small shrugging gesture. “-let you waltz off the edge to your death?” You let out a frustrated sigh.
“Do you have any better ideas?” You finally looked at him again.
“No-“
“Well then.” A pause. “It’s settled.” You went to take a step forwards, Loki swiftly blocking your path, hands up in a gesture to keep you in your place.
“No, it is not.” Loki said sternly. “You must think I’m a fool if you think for one second that I would allow you to make this decision.” His brows creased, eyes narrowing, jaw still tense.
“This is bigger than us, this is my choice-“ You argued, your own eyes narrowing in the process.
“And what about my choice?”
Loki’s question hung between you both, a chill going through you that wasn’t from the biting cold or Vormir. His blue eyes searched your face, before his hands slowly moved to gently grip your biceps, keeping you still.
“You mention failure… You forget, we have both made mistakes. Failed.” He continued, voice beginning to tremble faintly. “Failed others, ourselves… But I assure you, my list of failures far exceeds yours.”
“That isn’t the point-“ You closed your eyes, frustration creeping into your tone.
“Isn’t it?” He shook his head. “If either of us is to do this, it should be me.”
You reopened your eyes, furrowing your brows. The resolve was now apparent in Loki’s features, mirroring your own. You knew of his past, his mistakes, his anger… His pain. And the thought of him throwing himself from the cliff’s edge, thinking it was his redemption… It was unthinkable.
“Thor needs you.” The words came from your lips in a whisper.
“And I need you!” Loki exclaimed, grip tightening on your arms slightly, as if to will you to believe him, to understand, to see… His words made your breath hitch. “I… need you.” He repeated, quieter, the sharp lines of his face softening. Tears began to form in your eyes, turning them glassy as the space hues of the sky reflected in them. “You showed me… a better way.” He blinked, taking a small step closer, wanting to close the gap between you. “You saw something in me… That I hadn’t seen in myself.”
You had been his guide, his light in the darkness of the last five years. From his close death with Thanos, to here and now. His choice to stay on Earth, his choice to protect what was left… That was because of you. To protect you. You had been hope when it was hard.
“Loki…” Your lip quivered. “I can’t let you do this.”
The stone wanted a soul, a loss of that which they loved… Either of them sacrificing themselves would give them what they wanted, because even though it was unspoken, silent and tangible between you both… You both loved each other. Wholly. Completely.
“And I can’t let you go.” He replied, barely above a whisper.
An impasse.
Neither of you were willing to let the other walk off the edge…
“I’m sorry.” The words left you before even you could register them, hand rising, the familiar glow of your magic at your finger tips as you sent a blast towards him, the close proximity causing him to fly back. He landed on the harsh ground with a grunt, fists clenched as he felt fear and anger grip at his heart. His head whipped up, seeing you taking determined steps towards the edge.
“No.” He muttered to himself in a low growl, pushing himself to his knees as he desperately reached out his arm, using his telekinesis to wrap around you, pulling your form back, your boots dragging on the stone.
You let out a sound of irritation, hearing him get to his feet as his hold of you dropped, his long legs rushing towards you to try and get between you and your location.
“Stop!” Loki shouted, voice reverberating off the stone around you. It was a bellow, a plea and command. You once again called upon your magic, raising your hand, ready to fire another blast his way. This was for him. For all of them. However, Loki met your blast with his own, green meeting violet as your magics collided. You both were sent tumbling backwards, your form landing on its side as your hand gripping the cold stone. You felt pain go through you from the impact, looking up to see Loki, already scrambling to his feet.
Gritting your teeth, you do the same, seeing him now moving towards the edge with long strides. Of course, he felt fear. He didn’t want to die. But his love for you, his willingness to protect you overrode that inherent fear. You ran, skidding to a stop in front of him as you grasped his wrists, both of you stuck in a push and pull situation.
“Stop- Let me do this- My redemption-“ Loki said through his teeth, the strain evident on his features as you both tried to hold the other back.
“This is not your redemption!” You exclaimed, emotion in your voice. “Getting the stone, getting back to the others and saving those people, that’s your redemption!” You spoke with conviction, honesty, you believed every word you said. This was not his end. He wanted redemption, he would get it. But not this way. “Saving the universe, not me!”
“No-“ Loki’s voice cracked, his own eyes turning watery as he stared at you. He wondered if you could hear his heart beating, it was loud, wild, desperate. “I don’t want a universe without you in it!” His words were raw, full of emotion. Loki was known for being composed, a strategic thinker, a chaos bringer - but in this moment, he was simply a man, desperate to save the one he loved.
Your face crumpled slightly at his words, a tear finally escaping with a ragged breath. You pushed yourself, shoving him away from you in the process, making him stumble, before you sent another blast of magic at his chest, sending him crashing against the stone tower. Loki let out a pained sound as he fell to the floor, to his hands and knees. You were both strong-willed, defiant, insistent… And when an emotion such as love was involved… It was inevitable that it would not be easy.
“I’m sorry.” You repeated your earlier words, feeling a tear roll down your cheek. Loki looked up, his expression one of despair. It hurt, making your chest ache. Lifting your hand, you used your magic to hold him in place, keeping him on the ground as he struggled against it.
You spun on your heel, turning to the edge again, this time sprinting towards it. It was like time moved in slow motion, and Loki’s fear was palpable in the air. You missed the broken look that flashed on his face, the skin under his eyes now damp from his own tears. He felt helpless.
Just as you reached the edge, throwing yourself over, you heard the familiar shimmer of Loki’s magic, head whipping up as you felt a hand grasp your arm, stopping your fall. Loki’s face contorted, straining to keep himself from falling over the edge with you as you dangled. The drop was an instant kill, there was no surviving its height. He let out a ragged breath, chest panting as the muscles in his arm tensed, hand around your wrist holding tight.
You let out a breath of your own, looking up at him as you searched his eyes. The wind howled faintly around you, and you didn’t dare look down, knowing if you did - you may plead for him to pull you up.
“I won’t let go.” Loki spoke lowly, voice trembling. His tears fell freely now, unable to keep them back.
“You have to.” You shook your head faintly, eyes pleading for him to understand.
“I refuse.”
Silence.
“Let me go.” There was a certain look of acceptance on your face, one that was unsettling to Loki. How could you be okay with this? How could you ask him of such a thing?
“No.” He moved his other hand, trying to reach for your arm, but it was out of reach. If he leaned any further forwards, you would both fall to your deaths. For nothing. He let out a yell of frustration, gritting his teeth as he could feel the fabric of your clothes slipping slowly in his grasp.
“Loki-“ You drew his attention back to your face, voice soft. “It’s okay.” You nodded faintly. “Here… This isn’t your redemption.” You reiterated, brows furrowing. Loki swallowed the lump in his throat, brows furrowed in sadness. “You’re so much more than this.”
Loki let out a stuttered breath, face crumpling at your words as he shook his head defiantly. “Don’t- Don’t do this.” He begged. “There is no universe without you in it.” His words were spoken with such intense emotion, heart constricting tighter and tighter with each passing second. You wished there had been more time, you wished you had told him what he meant to you, you wished there was another way…
“Yes there is.” You whispered, a tear slipping down your cheek. “Fight for it.” You held his gaze, willing him to do as you said. “Take the stone, and get them back.” A pause. “For me.”
Loki had known pains in his life, many in fact, but this… This was unlike anything he had ever known. His heart, finally found belonging, a chance to not be alone… And it was being ripped away from him… For the greater good. It was enough to reignite his anger from years ago, to make him want to tear down every single thing in the universe until it was just him and you. Nothing that could harm you, nothing that could pull you apart… But he knew… That wasn’t who he was anymore.
Because of you.
“Please.” Loki’s voice shook, lip quivering. You gave him the faintest of smile, rueful, remorseful. A silent apology, and a promise of a better future for him. A symbol of love… And knowing when to let it go… For the greater good. Damn you for being an Avenger, for being selfless. Or maybe selfish. He didn’t know anymore.
And with that, your boot found the rocky stone of the cliff, pushing, using it to create momentum, to loosen his grip further from your wrist. Loki’s heart seized, lips parting in shock and hurt, trying his best to keep his hold. But when you pushed yourself again… It was enough.
Your arm slipped from his grip, his hand closing around the air as the air left his lungs. His eyes widened, gasping as he watched your body begin to fall.
Down, down, down.
“No!” He roared, body shaking from the intensity of his yell. It echoed around him, the wind carrying it away. Anguish, it was utter anguish. He couldn’t begin to despite the hole he felt beginning to form in his chest, a void that widened with every second you fell further. He felt frozen, like he couldn’t move, couldn’t think. Stuck in place.
And when your body finally hit the cold, harsh ground god knows how many feet below… He felt his body crumple, muscles completely going limp, as he could do nothing. Nothing but stare. His eyes closed, a sob wracking through his body. His fists clenched, hitting the rock beneath him at the cliff’s edge as he screamed. He felt sick. He had to do everything in his power not to throw himself after you. Your voice, your words… They were the only thing keeping him from doing so.
‘Take the stone and get them back. For me.’

A Baby
Loki x Reader Oneshot
(Summary: Loki and (y/n) get left with a baby. Now they have to take care of it for the next few hours.)
————————————
Chaos reigned over the city as a man with the ability to seemingly manipulate small portions of stone and cement tore holes into roads which out of control cars fell into. Street lights were thrown around by the cement they were connected to and people - not many - were suddenly impaled by various stone spikes.
As you looked around at all the chaos and bloodshed, out of the corner of your eye you saw a woman and her baby running towards you. Adrenaline running through your body, you quickly ran to her, “Ma’am follow me, we’re guiding evacuees to the statehouse-“
"No, no, there's no time," the woman frantically answered you, her eyes filled with immense fear as she looked down at the baby in her arms, which was starting to stir and cry.
You looked at her in confusion.
“Please.” A sob fell from her lips, making her next words strained, “Take her.”
You furrowed your brows, confused even more until she carefully brought her daughter from against her chest and handed her to you.
"Keep her safe for me. Please."
Just as you had taken a hold of the swaddled up baby, you heard a gravelly voice come from behind the frightened woman.
“I’ve finally found you.”
She had barely even let out a breath before a stony spike was protruding from her chest.
You jumped back instantly, putting your hand behind the baby’s head in both support and instinct.
"Guys," you breathed shakily into the earpiece, struggling to process what had just happened in the previous few seconds. "I need-I need backup over here, I have to go back to the Quinjet."
“Do you need first aid treatment?” You heard Cap ask
"No…but I have a baby."
"I'm sorry, you have a what?" Tony says incredulously. "Where on earth did you get a baby?"
“I mean I got it here-“
“NOT WHAT I MEANT.” You heard Tony sigh into the earpiece. “Just…Get back to the Quinjet."
You ran to the jet and as you got closer to it you saw the back open and Loki was standing there ready for whatever situation had happened
Though he certainly wasn’t expecting this.
“What in the name of Helheim are you doing with a baby?!” He asked quickly.
"I don't know, it all happened so fast," you argued back, running into the Quinjet as quickly as possible to make sure the infant was in a safer place. "One minute, I'm trying to help a woman out, and the next, she's handing me a child that I have no idea what to do with, then dying right in front of me!”
"Well, I suppose that's one way to run away from your responsibilities," Loki mutters.
You deadpan at him before sighing and wiping sweat off your forehead. As you lower your hand to readjust how you are holding the infant, you see thick blood covering the back of your hand, no doubt from the mother.
Horror dawns on you as you see that you’re covered in it, even the thick blanket the baby was swaddled in.
Seeing the panic on your face, Loki quickly used his seidr to clean the blood off both you and the child in your arms. “Alright, let’s see what I can do for now..” Loki said, looking around the jet for anything he could use to comfort the infant so that someone wouldn’t have to carry her until they got back to the tower.
"Can we make a makeshift crib somehow?" You suggested. "There's gotta be a wide enough basket or crate somewhere in here. It won't be as comfortable, but it'll be something for now."
"It could work," he replies. "Possibly."
As Loki started rummaging around, trying to find the suggested materials, the infant started to sob. You quickly looked back down, moving to sit down on one of the ledges so that you could place her on your lap, gently bouncing her up and down while shushing her in a soothing manner. “It’s alright.. It’s alright.. Sshhhh…”
Your motions calmed her down little by little, until eventually, she was sitting comfortably in your lap, her head resting on your chest as you stroked her head gently.
Loki had found an empty crate at the front of the jet and had brought it back to give you it. His eyes softened at the sight, and he smiled lightly.
As you looked back up to him, he felt his breath get caught in his throat. Frozen, he had almost forgotten what he had come to tell you; he cleared his throat, “I- Er- Found a crate.” He said, holding it up. “Obviously.”
He put it next to your feet and reached his hands back, taking off his cape and folding it to cushion the infant in the crate. You carefully lowered her into it, wrapping the soft fabric of Loki's cape around her for comfort.
"What do we do now?" he asks, not taking his eyes off your movements.
"Well…think it's safe to say she doesn't have anyone else to take care of her," you admitted, sitting back on the ledge. "Maybe…we could."
"Us?" His eyebrows rose incredulously. "Darling, I don't know if you could tell, but neither one of us knows the first thing about taking care of a child."
"That didn't stop you from having like, six of them." The look on Loki's face was the definition of a deer caught in headlights. "Yeah, I read the books."
"That's- that's completely different," he argues.
"Please, Loki," you pleaded. "It's not like we'll be doing it by ourselves. Everyone in the Tower can help if we need it. And I'm pretty sure the majority of them have interacted with and know how to take care of a kid."
Loki contemplated your reasoning for a moment, and although he was about to protest again, the sight of you returning to the baby's aid and cooing it back into a peaceful silence made his heart soften.
How could he possibly say no to you?
"...Alright," he sighs. "We can try."
Your face immediately lit up as you gave an elated nod and smiled.
+++++++++++++++++++++
“So, let me get this straight,” Tony began. “You were helping civilians evac, a random woman hands you her child and then drops dead in front of you? Is this how we escape our responsibilities nowadays?”
“That’s what I said!”
“Loki,” you hissed, pinching the bridge of your nose. “Look, Tony, I know you don’t think we’re the safest-“
“I know you’re not the safest.”
”But we can take care of her, I promise!”
“You, who’s never touched a baby in her life-“
“I’ve touched a baby before,” you frowned.
“Today doesn’t count.”
“Oh.”
“And him, who doesn’t need to be 5 kilometers near a baby.”
Loki crossed his arms in offense. “I beg your pardon? I’ll have you know, I’m excellent with children.”
“Yeah, he’s got about 5 of them,” you mumbled under your breath, earning an elbow from Loki.
Tony blinked, then shook his head. “I-…don’t even wanna know how. Or why, for that matter. Look, I suppose you two can take care of the kid until somebody can come and collect her, okay?”
Your face lit up immediately. “Thank you, Tony!”
“Yeah, yeah,” he sighed. “Don’t make me regret it.”
You gave him a quick “deal” before you carried the baby up to your room, which was vacant most of the time, given the fact that you’d practically moved into Loki’s room.
“We can make a spot here for her,” you suggested to Loki. “Maybe push that stand out of the way and over onto this wall? And put a crib in its place?”
“Where would we put her necessities?” He asked. “Diapers, bottles, stuff like that?”
“There’s a couple of empty storage draws in my closet,” you replied. “Whatever can’t fit in there can go in one of my nightstand drawers.”
Loki nodded, taking the initiative to begin pushing stuff out of the way and reorganizing it, since you were still busy cradling and rocking the baby.
He didn’t mind though. He liked seeing you like this. Felt like maybe someday in the future—with a lot less last minute warning—he would get to see it again, with you holding a child that the two of you created together.
“Loki? You okay?”
The Asgardian snapped out of his daydream and gave you a reassuring smile. “Absolutely fantastic, darling.” You returned his smile and nodded, refocusing your attention on the baby.
A while later, your bedroom had been set up into a half-baby room, Tony had ordered a ton of baby supplies, and Loki materialized a crib (which, to note, you were slightly skeptical about), which the little girl seemed to love, given the fact that she snuggled right into it.
“I wonder what her name is,” you murmured in thought as you and Loki watched the baby sleep soundly.
“The mother didn’t tell you?” Loki asked in surprise.
“No,” you shook your head. “I told you, she was dead before I could even blink.”
“Well… if we can’t find out what her name is…what if we named her?”
You cocked a brow. “Us?”
“Well, why not?”
“I’m terrible at naming stuff,” you laughed.
“So am I,” Loki joined in the laughter alongside you. “My firstborn? His name was Sleipnir.”
You burst into a fit of giggles at that. “What? How am I supposed to pronounce something like that?”
“You weren’t even supposed to know about it! Those were questionable times.”
“Yeah, no kidding,” you snickered as you went to pick up the baby’s blanket, which had been cleaned thoroughly from its bloody horror, to drape it over her. However, you caught a glimpse of some sort of writing engraved at the bottom corner.
Readjusting it to examine it further, you caught sight of something that made your mouth part slightly in surprise and wonder.
“Neveah. Her name is Neveah.”
“You just came up with that?”
“No, no, look!” you replied, beckoning Loki over to see what you were seeing. “It’s right here. Neveah D. R.”
“What do the last two initials stand for?” He asked.
“Her middle and last name, I assume. It’s not likely they’re her parents initials, but it’s one of the two.”
Before Loki could answer you, an alarm blares loudly throughout the Tower, startling both you and the little girl in the crib.
“I’m so sorry for the loud disturbance, but there’s an intrusion alert,” JARVIS’ voice fills the room.
“An intrusion?” You asked, your eyes widened in fear. “By who?”
“It appears to be the same threat as earlier, Ms. (L/n).” A holographic screen projects itself on your wall, showing Tony and Clint going at it with the same stone man from earlier.
“Thank you JARVIS, we’ll be down ASAP.” You then turned your attention to Loki. “I’ll calm the the baby down first, you get down there and help Tony and Clint.”
Loki gives you a nod, changing back into his armor before teleporting away.
You picked up Neveah in your arms, rocking her softly as she cried.
“I know, I know, I’m so sorry, honey,” you whispered to her gently. “It’s okay, I'm gonna protect you. Me and Loki, we’ll keep you safe, alright? Whoever that man is, he won’t get you.”
Her wails began to die down slowly the more you comforted her, until she was left sniffling softly.
“There we go, sweetheart,” you said with a smile, before wrapping her in her blanket, which seemed to make her happy in an instant. “Now just lay down and sleep, okay? We’ll come back for you, I promise.”
With that, you placed Neveah back in her crib and walked out the door, locking it behind you, just to be safe. Luckily, you still had on your suit, so you grabbed your holster and belt, attaching them to your body as you rushed down to the lower level of the Tower.
And boy, was it a mess.
It was absolute chaos, the room was practically surrounded by stone spikes coming out of the wall, shot up from the floor, even dangling from the ceiling. Things were tossed around and broken, and there was Tony, Steve, Clint, and Loki all trying to stop this crazy guy, who wasn’t budging not one bit.
However, when he spotted you, he stopped and narrowed his eyes. “You.”
You froze in your tracks as you made eye contact with him, the look in his eyes full of rage.
“You took my daughter away from me,” he seethed. “First that- that incompetent woman, and now you!”
Incompetent woman? Was he referring to Neveah’s mother?
“You took Neveah! Now you’re going to pay!”
All of a sudden, there were spikes being fired at you rapidly, so fast that you just barely managed to dodge the hits.
You ducked under the stone-like man and grabbed onto one of the thicker, heavier spikes protruding from the wall, climbing up them and swinging off the one on the very top, jumping on the man’s back as you tackled him to the ground.
He tried to fight back by aiming a spike at you from behind, but Steve threw his shield, knocking it out of the way before it could reach you.
Tony then jumped in, bringing a fist to the man’s face, the metal of his suit packing quite the cold punch, sending the man into a state of unconsciousness.
There was a moment of silence before Clint spoke up. “Is anybody gonna talk about what just happened?”
The rest of you began to speak simultaneously.
“Nope.”
“No.”
“Can’t explain it.”
“Not a chance.”
Another brief silence washed over the room before Tony lifted up the mask of his Iron Man suit.
“Rock of Ages, you’re strong enough,” he said. “Mind carrying this…man-rock to the cell in the basement?”
“My pleasure,” Loki muttered, helping you off of the guy before hauling him upwards, dragging his body away.
“That guy took the Rock way too literally,” Tony sighed. You shook your head and looked away to avoid the laugh that threatened to free itself.
“How did he get like-like that, anyways?” Steve asked.
“Good question, Cap. Turns out, I still don’t have an answer, so we’ll ask him whenever he wakes up.”
“You really think he’ll answer us?” you asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Well, at the end of the day, he has no choice.”
All that was left now was to wait for him to wake up.
+++++++++++++++
Hours later, JARVIS gave all of you the announcement that the man had woken up, which brought you down to the cell, where Tony was standing already, his arms crossed as he stared the man down.
“And thanks for all the damages, we really enjoyed the long cleanup,” you heard him utter sarcastically. "Turns out, the spikes disappear, but the mess doesn't."
“He’s awake?” you asked, staring at the man through the glass, who looked at you with a piercing glare.
“Yes, and for the love of god, keep your head down, your face looks like it hasn’t felt a drop of moisturizer since the day you were born.”
Clint raised a brow. “Aren’t you an Atheist?”
“Objection, besides the point,” Tony dismissed him. “Anyways, Concrete Rain, how'd you get the weird powers anyways, you went out and got yourself stoned or something?”
Leave it to Tony to start cracking jokes.
“I was born with these powers,” the man growled. “One of my kind, the Elementals.”
“I see. So, what element are you, sedimentary rock?”
“He’s got the Earth element, Stark,” Loki murmured, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“That still doesn’t explain why he tried destroying the city,” Steve said.
“That woman took my daughter away from me. I want her back.”
“Don’t you see you’re a danger to her? Do you really think your daughter wants to see you like this? Maybe her mother kept her away for a reason.”
“Tony,” you frowned. “Cmon, don’t be like that. Have some compassion, he just misses his kid.”
"Hey, child abductor, let me handle this, okay?"
"Wow."
"Well, what are you gonna do, Tony?" Clint asked. "As much as I hate to say it, we can't just hand his daughter back to him."
"Exactly," Tony agrees. "I say we send him to the Raft. Let him out for temporary child visits. How's that sound?"
"No!" The man roared. "I want Neveah! She's mine!"
"You are in no condition to be taking care of a child. That is a very small infant, and she needs gentle care. Unless you can get rid of the bodily rock, then I'm leaving your daughter under (y/n)'s care."
"And Loki's," you added.
"Yeah, him too," Tony reluctantly agreed. "And we'll keep the original plan. Now you two, get back to the kid. Don't leave her alone longer than necessary."
With that, Loki nodded, grasping your hand before he teleported away, bringing the two of you back to your bedroom, where Neveah was, shuffling around in her crib, cute little giggles and incoherent words spilling from her lips.
"Hi, sweetheart," you smiled, instantly walking over to shower her in attention. "Everything's okay now. You're safe."
"She's safe with us," Loki said, wrapping an arm around your waist as he watched you interact with the small child.
"Yeah,” you replied, laughing softly when you felt her tiny hand wrap around your fingers.
"Safe with us."

You Belong Here, With Me
Loki x FemReader
Tumblr media
Angst, fluff, hurt/comfort
Tw: None that i can think of
A/N: I had an idea for a scene where the reader is hidden on Asgard while the Avengers fight a threat for her back on Earth. Loki is stuck being the host, but he really doesn’t mind. She doesn’t feel like she fits into Loki’s world, but Loki has a different opinion.
Enjoy 🤘🏼
It had been a miracle that you managed to slip away from the celebration. While the Asgardians certainly knew how to throw a party, your social battery had been drained from the past few weeks.
You had agreed, when the team suggested you lay low for the time being. Earth was too chaotic, too unsafe for you right now. The largest target was on your back, and the only way to keep the people you cared about safe from harm was to leave.
Carol had many planets she offered to take you to. One where it was summer all year long, and the beaches were the most beautiful in the galaxy. You had declined. When Quill offered to pick you up for a time to travel with the guardians, you declined. But when Thor offered to take you to Asgard and have Loki stay to keep you company…
You shook your head at the memory. How stupid it seemed now.
You had slipped out of the ballroom, taking great care to not be followed. It was difficult adjusting to the Asgardian fashion. Frigga had sent up many fine dresses of various fabric and color. Tonight you selected an elegant royal blue dress that exposed most of your back and shoulders. You had a long silk shaw to match, and the ends of it billowed behind you as you hurried down the hallway towards your room.
You could still hear the music and laughter pouring from the ballroom as you shut the door right behind you. Immediately your body relaxed. You kicked off your shoes and meandered your way to the vanity table. You began to undo your earrings when you heard the door click open.
“Turning in early I see,” Loki said, shutting the door as he entered. You watched him from the mirror, and were struck by the beauty of him in his green and gold clothes. “I do believe the party was just getting started.”
“Leave me be,” you muttered. Loki rolled his eyes and made his way toward your bed. He sat on the corner closest to you.
“What kind of host would I be if I left you unattended during a party?” He kept his voice playful, but there was concern ridden in his blue eyes. It had been a strange few weeks. The two of you agreed it would be best to keep this relationship, or whatever it was that had grown between the two of you on Earth, under wraps while in Asgard. Loki had his reasons, all in good nature, he had promised, but still he was tight lipped about it all. You wondered what kind of customs Asgardians practiced when it came to intimacy, and you were too embarrassed to ask.
You sighed as you removed the rings and bracelets from your hands. They had been gifts from him, far too beautiful for the occasion. Your hands began to move towards your neck to unhook the maze of necklaces, but Loki was up in a flash.
“Allow me,” he said. He pushed your hair aside to one shoulder in a delicate motion. His hands were cool on the back of your neck, and you had to stop yourself from shivering. Carefully, began to unclasp each necklace and place them on the vanity.
“Tell me what troubles you, my love,” Loki said. He looked at you through the mirror's reflection. You stared at each other for a moment as Loki undid the last necklace. His fingers seemed to linger a bit on your shoulder, giving you the smallest of caresses.
The touch heated your blood and you stood from the vanity, turning to face him. His eyes searched yours, all amusement gone from his expression. Moonlight pooled in from your window, casting a beautiful pale light across Loki’s features. He was so ethereally beautiful that it hurt to look at him sometimes. You longed to touch him. To be able to openly touch him and love him as unabashedly as you had on Earth.
“I would prefer not talk about it tonight. Please, leave.” You whispered. You hated turning him away, but your heart and mind were too muddled and weary to feel anything else.
Hurt flashed across his face for a moment, but he quickly composed himself and simply shrugged. “As you wish.”
He strode a few steps forward, leaving you where you stood. You turned away, waiting for the door to slam shut after him but it never came.
“Have I done something to offend you?” He asked, facing the door. He slowly turned around as you looked at him. “If I have done anything, y/n, please let me correct it. You know I hate it when you're angry with me, darling. Please, tell me what I've done.”
His words rattled your resolve. You bit your lip to keep it from trembling. Your emotions from the past few weeks began to overflow, and it took all your strength to keep the tears at bay.
“It’s not you, Loki. It’s me,” you said, your voice cracked on the last word. Loki’s gaze softened immediately, any facade of anger or amusement gone. He stepped forward, placing his hands on your elbows.
“Y/n-“
You stepped back from his grip and began to pace the length of your room.
“I don’t belong here, Loki. This whole thing was a mistake.”
“What?” Loki ask incredulously. “Who the hell told you that nonsense? I shall have their tongues removed-”
“No one- I told myself that. Because it’s true. I don’t fit in here.” Tears brimmed the edge of your eyes. You silently cursed yourself for being so emotional. Why should it matter if you didn’t fit in here? Why did you care so much? It wasn't as if this was a permanent situation. You would be leaving just as soon as things settled down on Earth. Why did the idea of leaving hurt just as bad? They were answers you hadn’t been able to find in the time you had been on Asgard.
You expected Loki to laugh. It sounded ridiculous enough in your head and saying it out loud didn’t give the words anymore validity. But still, your heart twinged at the thought. But he didn’t. Instead he just stood there, looking thoughtfully at you, as if he understood.
“You are unhappy here…”
You winced at the sadness that lingered in his sultry voice. You stopped pacing and took refuge by sitting on the edge of your bed.
“It’s not that I haven’t enjoyed my time here. Truly, your home is beautiful- it’s magnificent. Everyone here has been nothing short of generous, especially your mother, but I just-“
You took a ragged breath. “I’m just a human. A human that made a very big mistake to have to be hidden away. I’m a mess. I don’t fit in here- amongst gods in their golden palace. I’m not like you Loki.”
“I believe you and I are more alike than you’d care to admit. And you are so much more than just a human.” You blinked at him, shocked by his response. He didn’t seem angry, or even the slightest bit annoyed by your explanation. Instead, a hint of playfulness danced in his eyes. He moved closer to you extending out his hand.
“May I show you something?” He asked. You opened your mouth to object but he just clicked his tongue, cutting you off. “If you still wish to leave afterwards I will have Heimdall take you anywhere you’d wish to go. Just- humor me for a moment. Please?”
You gave him an uncertain look, but the small grin on his face made your heart lurch in your chest. You placed your hand in his and followed him as he led you out of your room.
“Loki- my shoes…” you began as your bare feet hit the cool marble walkway outside of your room.
“Don’t worry, darling, you won’t need them. Come, quickly before someone sees us.”
The two of you ran through the palace. Loki kept the two of you close to the dark passage ways, making sure to stay clear from any other person that lingered the halls. Music from the ballroom could still be heard across the palace. It’s fast tempo gave the ground beneath your feet a heartbeat.
Loki held you close, never letting go of your hand as the two of you ducked into a single spiraled stairwell. Unexpectedly, he swept you off your feet and began to carry you as he ran up the stairs. You let out a swell of laughter as the two of you ascended, wrapping your arms around his neck for support. You fought the urge to kiss him, biting your bottom lip as you held him.
Once you made it to the top, Loki gently put you down and took your hand again. He walked with you this time, following the corridor until the entrance arched into a beautiful awning. Your eyes widened at the sight of Asgard in the starlight. The city seemed to dance underneath the moonlight, and the glow from the Bifrost glimmered in the distance.
You leaned on the stone edge balcony, letting the ends of your shawl blow loosely in the wind. Loki stepped closer beside you, the left side of your body felt warmed by his presence.
“It’s beautiful,” you murmured.
“As are you,” Loki said. You felt your cheeks burn as the compliment. “Do you know why I offered to bring you here?”
The question stunned you. The whole time you had assumed your placement here had been Thor’s idea. Loki took your silence as an answer and continued.
“I wanted you to come here because I could not think of any other place you deserved to be.”
Loki looked out onto the expanse of Asgard. His eyes grew soft at the sight of his home. “When I found out the truth of my past, I felt exactly as you feel now. Unworthy. And then when I continued to make mistake, after mistake-“
Loki’s voice broke. You placed your hand on top of his and held on tightly. He gave you a small smile and ran his thumb over your fingers. It was the most contact you two had since your arrival. Loki had been called away on official duties, standing in for Thor in his absence by attending meetings with Odin. But even this simple touch seemed to sustain the both of you.
“Asgard is a difficult place to call home. Especially for those of us that were not born from its glory. I have fought bitterly for my place here. I have hurt many who loved me for the sake of it, and have worked tirelessly to amend these wrongs and yet it often does not feel enough.”
Loki turned to you, taking both of your hands in his.
“I do not deserve it, but I am a son of Odin. I am a prince of Asgard, despite it all. And you,” his fingers tipped your chin up gently, moving your face closer to his. “From the moment I met you, I knew you belonged here. Even on Earth, in those quiet moments we shared together, your mind- your soul, you always reminded me of home.”
Tears were falling down your face now. Your body hitched with a small laugh as Loki wiped a tear away.
“I hoped you would fall in love with Asgard. Hoped that I could share with you one of the few parts of my life that I am actually proud of. I never wanted it to make you feel less than you are. And to me y/n, you are everything.”
Loki pulled his hands away for a moment. He held them out before you as magic illuminated around his palms. A thin silver crown made of silver vines appeared before Loki. Flecks of gold spilled around the silver, making the crown glimmer in his hands.
Loki looked at you, his gaze as steady and as sure as you’ve ever seen him. Before you stood a god, one that looked as if he would burn the world down for you, and you alone.
"There is beauty in the starlight of every corner of the galaxy, but I have found the one who for me, holds the stars."
"Loki?" you asked breathlessly.
Loki gave a small smile. "I was going to ask you tonight, before all of Asgard, if you would marry me. But as always, you made me change my plans when you left the ball early. "
"Marry you?" you whispered. Loki nodded, his pale blue eyes lit up his face.
“That’s why I was away these last few days. I spoke with my father, my mother, even Thor before we left, to ensure that if you were to accept- you would have your rightful place here with me, as a Princess of Asgard.”
“And-if Asgard does not make you happy my dear, then we can live on Earth. We could live anywhere- wherever you want. As long as I have you, I know I will be home.”
Words seemed to fail you. Tears continued to fall down your face as Loki looked at you with unbearable gentleness. “You would have me then?” You asked. “Despite everything..?”
Loki gave you a heartbreaking smile. He placed his hand on the side of your face and stroked your cheek. “Y/n, love,” he murmured. “I wish you could see yourself as I do. But I will spend the rest of our lives showing you how much you mean to me. I will be there, no matter what else comes your way. I will fight for you, and all you hold dear for the rest of my days."
You smiled as tears ran down your face. The wind blew tendrils of your hair around. You put your hands on Loki’s face, pulling him closer until the tips of your foreheads touched.
“Yes,” you whispered. "Yes, I will marry you."
Loki gave a soft, almost relieved, laugh. He used his free arm and wrapped it around your waist as he brought your body closer to his, until there was mere inches between you. His hand splayed out on the bare back of your dress as he brought you in for a kiss. You wrapped your arms around his neck and let him deepen the kiss, wanting to be consumed by him in every way. He broke apart, making sure to pepper your tear stained cheeks with light kisses.
He brought up the other hand that held the crown. You rolled his eyes at him as he spun it around his finger.
“A ring would have sufficed,” you teased.
“Not for you, my dear,” he murmured as he gently placed the crown on top of your head. “Nothing in the cosmos could suffice.”
The crown was light on your head. Loki took a step back to get a good look at you and his eyes seemed to darken as he took you in. You felt your face flush as you reached out for him to come back to you. He smiled as he spun you around, causing your dress to twirl in the moonlight. He kissed you again, holding you tightly against the backdrop of the Asgardian moon.
“Does this mean we have to return to the party?” You asked teasingly against his mouth.
“It is technically our engagement party. It would be rude to keep them waiting all night. I believe my mother had a cake made for us.”
He kissed the length of your neck, taking great care to give every exposed part of your skin attention. You smiled and tipped your head back, happiness radiating from every pore in your body.
“Can we wait- a few more minutes?” You asked breathlessly. Your hands traveled up the back of his neck, entangling into his hair as he kissed your collarbones.
“Darling,” he growled into your skin, “if you keep touching me like that, we may never make it back to that party.”
You laughed, letting yourself forget all of the doubt you had held in your heart. Playfulness danced in your eyes as you tipped Loki's face up to yours.
"No rush, or anything dear," you murmured. "But I did leave my shoes in my room."
Loki chuckled, giving you a wicked grin. With that he lifted you into his arms. "Let us make haste then to the bedroom- to retrieve my dear lady love's shoes, of course."

You were his secret, his dirty little secret that he’d been able to hide from everyone within Asgard.
While he was scheming away, deciding how he would take back his rightful spot with the crown of Asgard, you were there, underneath the desk, warming his cock, his hand tightly gripped within your hair. You had been there since the very start, beginning as his scullery maid, your job was simply to clean up after the Prince, never look him in the eye, and do your jobs from within the shadows. Until one day he noticed you, bending over to pick up one of the thousands of books that he had stored within his chambers, his eyes turning dark, particularly as you turned around and he noticed just how pretty you were, his pretty maid.
It didn’t take much convincing with his silver tongue before you were nothing more than his own personal toy, using you only for his needs and nothing more. Until one day he didn’t ask you to leave his bed, and then you never left, his feelings for you becoming more apparent by the softer touches, kisses and whispers that he provided to you until one day he cracked, becoming lovers but you still had to be his secret. Prince Loki didn’t want to be seen to have a weakness which you definitely were to him, so you remained in the shadows, watching happily as Loki became close to being the king, just for it all to go crumbling to ashes as he fell from the rainbow bridge.
Devastated doesn’t come close to how you felt, your life was ruined, and there was nothing left for you in Asgard, you couldn’t remain there, seeing Thor and all his friends continue their lives as if nothing had even occurred like he meant nothing to them.
Far, far away, you were able to sneak to the realm known as Midgard, or Earth as it was known to its inhabitants. You’d heard stories about the place from Loki, explaining that the place was beneath him and not worth the visit but you found it quite pleasant, and quiet, which was exactly what you’d hoped for. Finding a small quaint island off of the coast of Scotland, you’d found whatever peace you had been searching for over the last year since he had been gone.
This leads you to today, you’d just returned from your monthly trip to the shop which consists of you having to get a small boat over to the mainland before returning. It took nearly the whole day to do this trip and even though the food wasn’t nearly as tasty as it was on Asgard, you still needed to survive so it would do.
With your arms full of shopping bags, you steadily walked up the rickety path that lead to your cottage, the only building or sign of life on the small island. Stopping just before the front door, you stopped, something didn’t feel quite right about your little home. You couldn’t quite pinpoint exactly what was wrong but there was something that didn’t feel normal, so very carefully and without trying to show physical signs that you were nervous, you opened the front door.
Everything was normal, not a speck of dust out of line as you walked in, eyes flicking to every inch of the living room as you carefully placed the shopping bags onto the sofa, freeing up your arms to be able to suitably pull the small knife that you always kept hidden up your sleeve, a trick Loki had once taught you and now you did it automatically every day to keep yourself safe.
Even though you could see nothing was out of place, it still didn’t feel normal in your home so as steadily as you could, you walked around each room, turning on every light as you moved as the sun started to set outside. Finally, you entered your bedroom, the last room to check but as your eyes moved from one wall to another, every hiding spot checked, there was nothing to note as to where your bad feeling was stemming from.
Sighing heavily to yourself, you dropped the arm holding the knife to your side, maybe you were going mad after the year of isolation.
It all happened too quickly for you to notice, a large cool hand wrapped around your wrist, lifting it until the knife in your hand was gently laid against your throat as a voice spoke behind you. “You should never lower your guard, did I teach you nothing?”
It felt like ice had been doused over your body. That beautifully cruel voice that you’d dream about hearing all year. Your chest became suddenly tight, hands beginning to shake causing the knife to tremor against your neck. You wanted to shout and scream in anger and happiness but your body wouldn’t allow you to move, even as his scents of wood and musk drifted over your senses.
“Surprise, did you miss me?” he asked with a slight chuckle in his voice. This seemed to snap you out of whatever trance you’d been stuck in as you swiftly twisted your body, spinning out of his gasp, backing away to the wall opposite until your back collided with it, the knife held high pointed towards the man who now stood in the centre of your bedroom.
Loki. It couldn’t be real, there was no possible way Loki was standing right in front of you, smiling as if you hadn’t seen him fall from the rainbow bridge all of those months ago. Maybe it was a trick of the mind or someone else was tricking you but there was no way he was real.
He looked smug as he raised his hands, palms open to show he meant no harm, a smirk plastered across his face. He definitely looked like Loki, maybe more tired and his hair was slightly longer but everything was the same, he was even wearing the same black and green outfit that you’d last seen him in.
“It is truly me, it is not a trick.” You weren’t sure how to respond to him, your mind feeling broken with confusion and disbelief.
“If it is truly you, tell me something only my mast- my Loki would know?” you’d nearly slipped into old habits almost immediately and Loki noticed too, his mouth quipping up at the corner at the near mention of your name for him.
“Hm.. something only I would know?”, he stepped closer slowly, every movement calculated as he continued. “How about that time I had you screaming my name as you came over and over by just my tongue whilst you were hunched over the throne of Asgard. Everyone was so distracted by  Thor’s lasted celebrations that no one was there to keep watch over the throne so I took you there and well… you know the rest now don’t you darling.”
Your body had warmed at the memory he had decided to discuss, your knife lowering as you muttered, “yes ok, I believe it is you.” Taking a moment, you looked him up and down as he dared to step closer to you once more.
“Yes, it is really me, my love”.
You frowned, shaking your head in disbelief. He had left you for all of this time to mourn and wait around for him like some lonely widow and he’d been alive all of this time? Leaving you to suffer?!
“It’s you?!” All the rage and built-up depression went into your shout, and before you could stop yourself, your vision going blurred, you threw the small knife, aiming directly for the target: Loki’s smug face. You knew he would catch it, and he did with such swagger and ease he hardly even flinched.
Tilting his head slightly, his eyes squinting as he asked, "did you just throw your knife at me?” his voice was calm as he spoke which put you even more on edge.
“You’ve been dead for over a year! Dead Loki! A whole year I’ve been by myself, you’ve let me suffer all this time!” your fists were clenched, jaw held strong as you ranted to him, you were beyond elated to see him but that didn’t stop you from feeling the strong pain that was coursing through your veins.
“Don’t raise your voice to me” he once again responded with a quiet, calm voice, his shoulders squaring off slightly.
“I can do whatever I wish to do Loki!” you knew that you were playing with fire at this point, his predatory stare was enough to have your body reacting in the way you wish it didn’t whilst you tried to hold your angry stare back at him. The tingling sensation in between your legs had you shifting your weight, subtly rubbing your thighs together. “How dare you just waltz in here, like you’re even welcome in my home-”
His movements were slick and full of speed as your words were cut off as his large hand wrapped around your throat, your body being forced back into the wall as his large form crowded into you.
“Everything that you own is mine, do you understand me?”
“Get off of me, Loki” you weren’t really trying to push him off, especially as he lowered his face, it was now so close to yours that your hair moved with his breath.
“Now, you know that’s not my name. I may have been gone for a year, and I’ll explain why I didn’t return sooner, but surely, you haven’t forgotten your manners now, looks like I’m going to have reminded you of your place in this relationship.” You stumbled slightly as he released your throat, taking a few step backs, he stared you down, without blinking, his eyes dark as he demanded, “kneel”.
You took a second to catch your breath, staring back at him, trying to keep the strong will but it was slowly fading, you knew you would do anything he asked, you always did but sometimes, you liked being a brat, especially if the emotions were high. Taking a risk, you shook your head, no, holding your arms behind your back so he wouldn’t see that you were shaking slightly from the anticipation.
He released a long breath, his voice deeper as he spoke slowly, so you understood not to keep pushing this, “I. said. Kneel.”
Less than a second later your knees were on the carpet, head lowered so you could only see his shoes, hands laying palm up on your legs. You knew this position all too well, it was one of the first things that he taught you, expecting you to be in his bed chambers every night waiting for him which you gladly did, you could already feel the damp spot forming in your underwear.
The two black boots stepped closer until they were brushing your knees, his long finger reached underneath your chin, tilting your head back, straining your neck as you looked up at the face you had so desperately wished to have seen every day for the last 12 months.
“You have every right to be upset, but I stayed away for a good reason, I didn’t want you to be involved in what will be happening. However, that does not then allow you to talk to me in that tone, now, say my name.”
“Master” your cheeks warmed as you whispered his name to him.
“That’s right Pet, did you really think I would allow you to be a brat and to get away with it? This was not what I had hoped for with this reunion, for months all I could think about was my face between those beautiful thighs and now? You’ll be lucky to receive anything.”
You whined audibly, moving to reach up and grab his wrist but stopping when he gave you a pointed look so you sat back, returning your hands to their original spot on your legs.
“You want to be a brat, I’ll treat you like a brat. What I’m going to do, is pull out my cock, and you’re going to worship me. Then, you're going to bend over my knee and I’m going to spank you until you're dripping on the floor, do you understand?” Your eyes glossed over at the punishment, already knowing the torture of not being touched will be enough to drive you crazy, let alone the thrill of the pain/pleasure that you’ll be experiencing.
“Yes, master”. Loki smirked once more, a single finger running down your cheek, a small sign of affection before he started to undo his zipper, reaching inside of his leather trousers, your mouth was salivating before you even saw his cock be pulled out in front of you. It bobbed out, nearly hitting your eye, the tip already slightly moist with precum, you couldn’t look away from it, almost missing it as much as the man who stood over you.
“Open”, he demanded, gripping the base of his cock to keep it from bobbing up and down, allowing for you to sit forward on your knees,  a dull ache looming in them but that didn’t stop you from opening your mouth wide, eyes finally flicking up to him just how he liked. At first, you simple held his tip in your mouth, enjoying the taste and weight of it, exactly how you remembered him. Loki breathed deeply, trying not to show the effect that you had on him, by just the smallest of actions but you could tell by the slight shiver that ran through his spine that he too had been waiting for this moment.
Gripping the back of your head, he couldn’t wait any further as he thrust further into your face, you did your best to relax your throat, trying not to panic when he reached the back but the years upon years of training that he had given you with his cock down your throat, you hardly flinched as his balls brushed against your chin.
He subtly bite his lip as he pulled his cock out, a string of dribble connecting your lip to his tip and it was like something snapped in his as he began to eagerly fuck your face and you knelt there and took it like a good girl. Hollowing your cheeks and using your tongue along the underside, you used all your best tricks to show how much you had missed him, loving the small grunts that he released, they were like small rewards for you.
Loki seemed to notice how much you were enjoying this so quickly pulled your face off of his length, gripping your cheeks harshly so you couldn’t turn away as he sneered, “I think it’s about time that I remind someone that this is a punishment”. With godly reflexes, he had you standing, turning and face pushed flat against the wall by his hand remaining of the back of your head, keeping you there so you couldn’t turn and see what he was doing but you already knew as coolness settled over your now naked body as Loki performed a simple spell to remove your clothes.
“You should have been instantly on your knees thanking me for returning to you” his deep voice loomed next to your ear as he stood over you, his clothes scratching against your skin as you waited with bated breath for his next predictable move.
The first spank had you jolting against the wall harder, not expecting it to be so sharp against your arse cheek as he started with the right one. Not even giving you time to draw in a shaky breath, he repeated the action on the other cheek, moving between the two so that they equally had the same punishment. Not that you necessarily thought this was a punishment, thriving off of the stinging sensations that were building in strength, the tingling that was forming between your legs on full display to the man behind you.
You’d lost count of how many spanks had been delivered, silently you were thankful that he hadn’t asked you to count because you knew you’d be a bumbling mess if he did, the pure desperation of wishing to finally feel his cock inside of you after all this time was slowly driving you insane. Both of your knees were wobbling as he spanked you again, your skin burning now, a sharp contrast to his cold hand.
You’d been trying to keep quiet the entire time, not sure just how far you wanted to push him with your bratty behaviour but you couldn’t stop the small sob escaping. It wasn’t pain or sadness that had your emotions in turmoil, it was the need to have him inside of you in any way that he would allow.
Loki stopped spanking you at the sound, he knew exactly why you had sobbed, a cunning smile spread across his face as his lips hovered close to your ear once more. “Say whatever it is you wish to say, brat”.
“Please, fuck me, Master, I need you to please, just fuck me!” The desperation in your voice was embarrassing but you didn’t care, pushing your aching arse back to try and rub against his cock but he took a step back instead.
You waited impatiently for him to say something, your hands shaking from where they lay against the wall. It was Loki’s deep chuckle that had you risking a glance over your shoulder, seeing Loki standing there, staring at the floor. His eyes flicked up to yours, hand tossing off his own member, teasing you once again, needing to feel him.
“I’m a man of my word, looks like you’ve dripped your sweet juices onto the floor, you really must be pathetic to be that desperate for my cock”.
You whined, closing your eyes as an intense pulse of need spasmed through your cunt at his words, “I am master, please, give it to me” you continued to beg.
For a moment you were frightened that he wasn’t going to give in, that he was going to just leave you again as you couldn’t hear anything from behind you but soon his hands were back on your body, one hand wrapping around your throat, the other on your lower back, bending your back slightly to stick your arse out more as you finally felt his hard dick nudge against your core.
As you whispered “please” one more time, he finally adjusted his hips, and his swollen tip eased into your entrance. Every inch had you gasping and clawing at the wall, brain turning to mush as he thankfully moved slowly, giving you some time to get used to his size once more, the best feeling in the world was the stretch of your walls around him.
As Loki bottomed out in you, his lips delicately kissed your shoulder, the only sign of positivity that he’d given you since turning up randomly in your home. “You aren’t allowed to cum until I’ve cum, do you understand, Pet?”
You wanted to shout out that it wasn’t fair, you already felt so close to tipping over the edge and all he’d done was put his cock in you, there was no way you’d be able to last as long as he does but knowing there was no other way, you mumbled, “yes master”.
“Good girl” he praised, sending another tingling spark straight to your cunt which didn’t help to ease matters. Loki felt your walls quiver around him, his eyes wandering up and down your body as he pulled out, letting out a deep moan at the sensations. In truth, Loki knew he wouldn’t be able to last long either but after waiting all this time to see you, just to make sure that you were safe and to be welcomed with such bratty behaviour, he needed to remind you, just who was in charge here.
He started slow, fucking into you, just reminding himself just how good you felt around him, but he couldn’t wait much longer to keep his calm, and you had asked for him to fuck you hard. You both groaned in pleasure as he started to fuck you hard, hips slapping together, his balls hitting directly against your clit only adding to the stimulation as the hand on your throat tightened slightly.
Your arse burned from his hips thrusting into them but that only spurred on your pleasure, your walls were convulsing with every drag of his cock, the tip brushing against your cervix had you seeing stars but you were trying to think of anything except the man behind you, trying to desperately chase of the quickly impending orgasm.
It was no use, your abdomen felt tight and as you could feel it start to ease you shouted, “I- I can’t hold it Master” and Loki surprised you, he stopped thrusting, giving you a moment to catch your breath and try and will away the orgasm. Usually, he would keep fucking you until you came and then proceed to punish you once more but it seems he was in a forgiving mood.
Loki groaned in pleasure at feeling your cunt flutter as you were on the very edge of an orgasm but as you took many deep breaths to try and gain control, a lone tear slipped down your cheeks with just how good you felt before taking the risk and moving your hips slightly, his cock pulling out in an inch and then shifting back to get him to continue fucking you.
He took the hint and immediately continued his pounding, but his hands moved, pulling both of your arms behind your back, using them as leverage to help move your body back and forth on his thick member. He was ruthless, your eyes were rolling back at the constant pleasure that was blooming between your legs, he was masterful with his actions, knowing the exact angle to fuck into you, the way you liked a little bit of discomfort of the wall bounding against your face with the mix of excitement at being dominated, he knew you perfectly.
Your legs were starting to wobble so much that Loki had to use his body to keep you upright, his thrusts now long and deep rather than hard and quick. He was also trying to distract himself to the overwhelming pleasure that was coursing through his veins to try and keep at it for a bit longer but he could feel his length hardening, his balls tightening against his body.
In a rush he grunted, “cum for me, you can cum, good girl that's it”, he had hardly finished his sentence before you orgasmed, the tingling sensations were powerful as your cunt contracted around his member, only causing his own orgasm to rip through his body. His own shout was like music to your ears as he couldn’t control his reaction, his thighs shuddering as his hot cum spurted against your walls, dripping down your slit and onto the floor as he slowed his thrusts to a stop.
It took a few moments for you both to catch your breaths, relishing in the after-sex glow, trying to regain your senses. Finally, you made the first move, risking a glance over your shoulder, a small smile on your face as you whispered, “I’ve missed you”.
Loki’s lips kissed against your bare shoulder, then your cheek that was facing him, his lips as cold as the rest of his body as he too started to smile, “I’ve missed you too” he rasped, his mouth finally, slowly, connecting with yours, the relief that rushed through your body was something you had never experienced before and for that one moment, in that small cottage, on the island that had no one else to bother you both, you felt safe and happy.

If requests are open, sorry its another long ass anon prompt, i should call my self sushi at this point.
How about Yn, Stark try to help out on a mission but her dad says its to dangerous. The thing they are working on could kill someone, and yn wants to make sure everyone is safe. She can help, she knows she can. But Stark asks Peter Parker to get her out of there and then he is placed on "baby sitting duty" even though they are both in High school.
Cue yn trying to get back to help using any means necessary and peter trying his best to keep her away from something dangerous. He's trying to calm her down from the incoming panic attack, but she cant seem to breathe. Can't Peter see that her dad is probably going to die? She loves peter but she cannot lose her dad. Everything fades to black.
Yn wakes up in her room after passing out from The panic attack. The whole team is fine, they saved the day. Yn is crying from all of the stress of suddenly being awake after that event when peter cuddles her.
Basically all the angst, with all the fluff right after.
Thanks again 🍣🍣🍣

“You know, this feels like our first Avengers mission all over again,” Tony said in a dramatic voice as he fires his repulsers.
“If only it was because we were getting shawarma and not fighting another one of Thor’s murderous siblings,” Natasha deadpanned.
You bit back a small laugh as you entered the fight. Thor’s sister Hela had made her presence on Earth with an army of horrid creatures at her beckoning and the Avengers were there to do what they do best, defend and avenge. While the whole team, including your boyfriend Peter, had suited up at the tower, Tony had specifically told you not to get involved. You were only a few months in to being an Avenger and he thought it was too dangerous for you.
But, it took was one override code of FRIDAY’s system to get out of the tower.
“Hey! Technically, Loki was mind-controlled by Thanos,” Thor grumbled.
You smiled, sneaking around a city block before hitting one of the creatures square in the chest. You had a suit that you had designed with your dad along with some pretty cool energy powers.
Unfortunately, the creature didn’t go down with just one blast. You frowned as it growled and turned towards you, starting to advance. The team continued to chatter on comms, trying to keep on joking in order not to think about all the damage Hela was doing. It was nearly getting to be worse than the damage Loki once caused.
It wasn’t letting up, despite your continued blasts. It’d get hit in the face and shake it off (quite literally with a shake of its head). Your heartbeat went off the charts as you stumbled back, panic rising in your chest and your mouth going dry. Shit. This wasn’t going to be the end, was it? That stupid thing wasn’t letting up! It was getting far too close now and you were a second away from going on comms to admit defeat and call for help when suddenly, a blur of red flashed in front of you and then, strong arms wrapped around you.
You let out a shriek as your feet left the ground. “Shh, shh, it’s me,” the familiar voice of Peter soothed you and you calmed down instantly, your arms wrapping around him as he swung onto the rooftop on the nearest building. When you landed, Peter rubbed your back and held you close as he waited you to calm down and get your bearings.
“Thanks,” you whispered, your cheek pressed against his chest, a little embarrassed that he had to come and save the day.
“You know there’s no need to thank me,” Peter assured you in a warm voice, lightly chuckling. After a second, he pulled back and lifted up his mask for a second. “Babe, what are you doing here? Your dad told you stay in the tower.”
You pouted at him. “I want to help, Pete! The whole team’s here, I don’t want to be stuck in the tower,” you said, wanting him to understand.
And oh, he did. He had been unable to attend a lot of the missions when he first started out as an Avenger. He had been annoyed much like how you were now, but he had grown to see that it was for the best. “Y/N, you know we have to tell your dad,” he told you.
Your jaw dropped. “What? No!” You exclaimed, trying to stop Peter from telling KAREN to alert Tony. “What are you doing?!”
Peter finished speaking to KAREN and gave you a knowing look. “Tony would find out sooner and later and I’m not taking the fall,” he said.
You opened your mouth to protest even more, but was cut off by the sound of your dad’s voice. “Y/N Stark!” Tony said, his voice vibrating through both yours and Peter’s comms. “What were you thinking? You know you’re not trained enough to come on this type of a mission.”
“Dad—” you began, not even sure how you were going to defend this.
“No, I don’t want to hear it,” Tony snapped, catching you off guard. Damnit, he really was not happy. Peter squeezed your hand comfortingly. “I’m taking away your ability to override FRIDAY’s codes for now. Peter, please take Y/N back to the Tower. You can return to the fight after.”
You looked away, hot tears of frustration pooling in your eyes. Deep down, you knew that he was justified in this decision, but that didn’t take away your anger or your want to help. “You’re going to take me back to the tower, aren’t you?” You muttered. You didn’t mean to take this out on Peter, but this was one of the times where his loyalty to your dad was working against you.
“Hey,” Peter said gently, grasping your chin in the palm of his hand turning your head so your guys’ eyes met. He titled his head to the side, giving you a knowing but loving look that never failed to make your heart melt. “You know I have to take you back. But you can go to the lab, work on upgrades for your suit, and I promise the fight will be over in no time.” You nodded slowly, not quite believing him even though you wanted to.
Smiling at you, Peter wrapped his arms around you and lifted you into his arms. Usually, his words always did the trick to calm you down, and while he did help to prevent your tears from falling, you couldn’t shake the storm of anger and helplessness that was brewing inside your body.
You were almost like a rag doll in his arms, for once not terrified of Peter swinging you through the streets. Instead, you zoned out, unable to stop the scenarios of your dad and the Avengers getting gravely injured or killed from flashing through your head. You imagined your dad dying and the last thing you said being an argument. It wouldn’t stop and the more the images came, the more tense and frightened you became.
//
It was blatantly obvious for Peter that something was off, something was different. The only time he heard Tony speak like that was when the man had taken his suit away. Plus, when he carried you through the city with his webbing, you were usually clinging to him and letting out squeaks of exhilaration and nervousness. Now, you are still holding onto him tightly, but had gone silent.
He landed on the balcony outside your room, opening your door and leading you inside with his hand bracing your back. He could see clearly that you were deep inside your thoughts and it sent a ripple of pain through him. When the two of you got to the lab, Peter maneuvered himself to stand in front of you, his hands on your shoulders.
“Do you want me to get you water or something? I don’t want to leave you yet,” he said, biting his bottom lip in obvious worry for your state.
The switch from silence to hysteria stunned Peter for a second, but he snapped out of it when your panic didn’t cease. You struggled to control your breathing, body beginning to shake. A sob escaped you and you covered your mouth with your hands. “Y/N, take a deep breath for me,” he said firmly but kindly, mimicking one.
You shook your head so quickly and strongly that it made you dizzy. “I can’t—I can’t—” you wheezed, nearly choking on your sobs.
"Yes, you can. I know it doesn't feel like it, but you can," Peter said, but when he started to see that this wasn't working, he switched tactics. "Come on, let's sit you down."
He tried to maneuver you to the couch, but that backfired almost immediately. Your nails dug into his suit so forcefully that it was enough to make him pause and look back on you. The color had drained from your face and you looked absolutely terrified, a dazed over look in your eyes. "Y/N? Y/N!" He exclaimed, panicking.
You opened your mouth, and that gave Peter hope, but only a small noise, almost a whimper, left your lips before you were falling. What Peter didn't know was that when he tried to move you, he had unintentionally made the dizziness so much worse. That, combined with all five of your senses feeling like they were on fire, was too much for your body to handle at the moment.
Peter's eyes went wide as you dropped quite literally into his open arms. With one hand cradling your head, pressing it against his shoulder, he half-pulled, half-dragged you over to the couch. "Sorry," he couldn't help but apologize, seeing your feet drag.
He got you over to the couch and laid you down, brushing your hair out of your face. At the very least, you looked calmer now, but Peter would much rather you be conscious than unconscious. "FRIDAY, what do I-?" He started to ask, but the A.I was already ahead of him.
"While I cannot diagnose anyone, it appears that Y/N was displaying symptoms of a panic attack and lost consciousness as a result. The best course of action would be to monitor Y/N closely," FRIDAY said.
Peter was no fan of hearing the words panic and attack together, but it did soothe him to know that he didn't have to call 911 or bring you to the hospital. "Thanks," he murmured, watching you for a second. He let out a shaky breath, running his hand through your hair and his thumb over your forehead and cheeks like he knew you liked. A smile came to his face when he remembered how you'd blush normally.
He considered having FRIDAY tell Tony and the team that he wouldn't be going back to the fight, but that would just mean that he'd have to explain and he knew that everyone would be distracted and too worried about you (especially Tony). He sat back, trying to wait as patiently as he could, but couldn't shake the feeling of the need to do something to help or comfort you.
Eventually deciding that you'd be more comfortable on your bed than the touch, Peter scooped you up in his arms again. He tried to pretend that you were just sleeping in his arms, not unconscious, and that brought another soft smile to his lips. He tucked you into bed, not caring that he very much resembled a mother hen right now.
Once he deemed you all cozy, propped up by an absurd amount of pillows and wrapped in fuzzy blankets, Peter decided to change out of his suit. He made FRIDAY swear to alert him if anything about your condition changed, though. After switching to an Avengers sweater and grey sweatpants, Peter made a quick detour to the kitchen to grab you a glass of water and your favorite snack.
As he was walking back into your room, though, Peter saw you start to stir. He quickly put down the water and snack, hurrying to your side and taking a seat on your bed. He placed his hand over yours, smiling as he watched you wake. You looked around, a bit confused at first, before your gaze settled on your boyfriend.
"Peter?" You mumbled, starting to feel a bit nervous as your head was all foggy from fainting.
"Hi," he said sweetly. "You're okay, babe. We're in your room. You fainted. Take a deep breath with me, okay?"
You managed to do that. Peter drew back the covers and slid into bed beside you, wrapping his arms around you as he held you.
"You-you shouldn't be here. My dad-" you began to say.
"-Will be fine. So will the team. I'm right where I need to be, darling," Peter said, keeping his voice calm, gentle, and smooth.
You let out a small puff of air, pausing before speaking again. "He's so mad at me. I-I wanted to help. I'm supposed to be a hero, but I'm not even good enough to stop some creature on my own," you whimpered. As your tears started to come, Peter didn't try to stop them. He knew you needed to let it all out.
Rubbing your arm soothingly. Peter waited to speak. "It was a misunderstanding, Y/N, and you are a good hero-" he began.
"You have to say that, you're my boyfriend," you pouted.
Peter chuckled lightly. "It's true. You are the kindest hero I've ever seen. Some missions just require a little more training and that's okay, it doesn't make you any less of a hero," he said.
You nodded, leaning your head back against his chest. Peter happily continued to rub your arm and hold you.
"I'm still worried about my dad and the team," you whispered.
"I know," Peter whispered back, pressing a kiss to the side of your head. "But if something happened, we'd have heard right now, so try to rest your head, m'kay?"
You nodded again, even if you weren't quite certain that you'd be able to do that. Peter grabbed the water and the snack, passing it to you. That instantly made you smile and you thanked him before practically devouring it. Peter put the glass back on the table when you were done.
The two of you sat there for a while, both happy and content to enjoy each other's presence. After a bit, Peter glanced down and grinned when he saw you asleep. This was like heaven to him, with how cute you were and how he was able to hold and cuddle you.
He ended up losing track of time but soon enough. FRIDAY was quietly alerting him that the team had returned, unharmed.
"Can you tell Tony to come up to Y/N's room?" Peter asked.
A couple minutes later, the man was walking in, still in his suit but without his helmet. "I know you're probably still mad-" he began, running a hand through his hair, only to be cut off by Peter's "shh". He glanced up, not expecting to see the sight he saw. He walked over. "What's going on?"
"Y/N's asleep. Had a panic attack and fainted earlier. Y/N was really scared that something would happen to you and the team," Peter explained.
Tony softened and with a small sigh, sat down. He looked at his sleeping teen, smiling warmly. "Alright. We can talk later. Take good care of my kid, alright Parker?" He whispered, slowly rising from the bed.
"You got it," Peter promised. He'd always take good care of you.

The Redbridge Hunts, Chapter 25
Tumblr media
It had been a rough few weeks after the death of another student. All the vampires were on high alert, the teachers took turns doing some late-night patrols of the city, mainly just flying around, making sure any students that were out and about were keeping safe.
Claire didn’t have any further nightmares of Chris, thankfully. She was getting braver every time she saw him, able to just block him out and know he was just toying with her for the fun of it.
Claire was at Loki’s place, she had just showered and was lazing in his bed with just a towel wrapped around her body and a towel wrapped in her hair. She’d gotten distracted with the book she was currently reading while she let her hair dry a bit.
When Loki walked into the bedroom silently, after being out on a late-night patrol, he saw the delightful sight of her lying on her stomach on his bed, reading. She hadn’t heard him come in.
Smirking, he quietly stalked over to the bed. Once within reach, he flipped the towel up quickly to reveal her ass and he leaned down to take a bite from her left cheek.
‘Aaaah!’ Claire cried out loudly in surprise as Loki’s teeth sank into her flesh.
Loki laughed wickedly when she rolled over onto her back. ‘You sneak!’ She laughed as he crawled onto the bed and over the top of her.
She playfully tried to wrestle him, Loki let her think she was winning, he let her push him over and sit on top of him.
‘Ah ha!’ She cheered.
Though he only let her have the false sense of security for a moment, he whipped her towel clean off her body, wrapped his arms around her and flipped her over, pinning her back down under him as she let out a screech of laughter.
She couldn’t resist when his arm came close to her face, she leaned forward and bit his forearm. She thought quite hard…
‘Aww, how cute.’ He mocked with a chuckle.
‘Did that not hurt at all?’ Claire pouted.
Loki grinned and brushed his thumb along her lower lip. ‘Nope. More like a light tickle.’
‘Pfft.’ Claire tried biting him again, going for his thumb this time.
Loki raised an eyebrow in response and tilted his head slightly. ‘Are you in a bratty mood, my darling?’
She shrugged. ‘Maybe… perhaps I need vampy to sort me out.’
Loki smirked. ‘Is that going to be my new nickname?’ He asked as he sat up and began unbuttoning his shirt.
‘Probably.’ She grinned widely and sat up too so she could run her hands up across his chest when he shrugged off his shirt. ‘Everything ok tonight?’
‘Rather quiet again tonight… I think most of the students are scared to be out in the dark.’ Loki hummed as he started unbuckling his belt.
‘I don’t really blame them.’ Clarie sighed. Her eyes trailed downwards when he made short work of removing his trousers, leaving him as naked as she was. He often went commando, which she certainly didn’t complain about.
‘Are you on patrol again tomorrow night?’ She asked, still trailing her hands over his chest, Loki smirked wickedly.
‘Never mind the small talk. I thought you needed vampy to sort this brattyness out.’ He growled darkly.
Claire’s stomach flipped as Loki’s large hand wrapped around her neck and he pushed her back down forcefully on the bed, his mouth was upon hers hungrily. His tongue was very active as he let his fangs emerge when he felt her tongue tracing along his upper teeth. She squeaked into his mouth when she felt the sharp points, making him chuckle into her mouth.
‘You’re such a little vampire slut.’ Loki snarled as he reared back and flipped her over onto her stomach with such ease.
The thought that he was so strong to lift her like she weighed absolutely nothing, she knew that he really could do whatever he wanted to her and she wouldn’t be able to stop him… That should terrify her, but it just aroused her to no end.
He lifted her up so she was on her hands and knees, then to her surprise, he brought his hand down forcefully on her ass. She yelped in surprise and then gasped at how her body reacted to the pain… Loki could clearly smell exactly just how she was reacting to it, too.
Loki chuckled wickedly as he repeated his actions a few times, the spanks getting more forceful each time. His red hand prints were already appearing on her skin. He couldn’t resist leaning down and biting her ass again, but this time properly biting her with his fangs and piercing her skin. She let out a big gasp, though the feeling of his fangs piercing into her made her feel instantly hazy.
He rubbed his hand over his fang marks on her skin, then slid up her spine causing her to arch her back against him, until he reached the back of her neck and he held her in place as he moved in behind her.
With his free hand, he spread her legs open further and ran two fingers through her folds.
‘Dripping wet already… I’m starting to think you’re just with me because I’m a vampire.’ He said teasingly as he rubbed across her throbbing clit, making her body jolt in pleasure.
‘In my defence, I was in love with you before I knew. It’s just a rather lovely bonus.’ Claire said as she tried to look over her shoulder at him, but with his hand still firmly gripping the back of her neck, she couldn’t move it.
Loki chuckled. ‘True.’
He slowly kissed up her spine, making her moan. He let go of her neck and gripped her hips as he positioned himself behind her, his cock rubbed through her folds a few times, making him moan at her wetness on him. With a growl, he finally pushed into her, unable to wait any longer.
They both moaned together at the initial feeling. Loki looked down and his mouth fell open in pleasure as he watched his cock slowly disappear into her. There was something so hot about being literally inside of the one he loved, and her body greedily sucking him in.
Claire could only brace herself as Loki started out slow, but quickly became rougher and it took all of her strength to remain up on all fours. Even while he was pounding into her roughly, he still managed to hit every sweet spot within her.
When she felt his fangs graze against her shoulder, she shuddered and was a goner. Loki felt her clenching around him, right before she came all over his cock. He growled ferally as he bit her shoulder, his fangs pierced into her but he didn’t take blood from her. It was nice just to hold onto her, like a puppy with a chew toy. It felt surprisingly good on his fangs.
She cried out as the pain in her shoulder mixed with her orgasm. Loki didn’t stop though, he was doing his best to hold off on his own orgasm as he kept rutting into her, his arms wrapped tightly around her middle to keep her up on her hands and knees as they were shaking badly.
Loki continued thrusting into her, though he did slow down a tiny bit, more for himself as he didn’t want to cum just yet.
‘Lokiiii.’ Claire cried out, trembling under him as he continued fucking her through her first orgasm.
She was taken to new heights as he made her cum a second time, quite close to the first as he’d angled himself just in the right way to hit that special place inside her that drove her nuts.
‘I… can’t take any more… please cum already.’ She panted, her body began desperately squeezing his cock to try and hurry him along.
While he was most definitely there, teetering right at the edge and could cum at a moment’s notice, he was doing his best to hold off still. He was having too much fun with her torture.
Loki chuckled as he nibbled his way up the side of her neck, then on her earlobe for a moment. ‘Come on, my love. One more orgasm, you can do it… For vampy.
Claire didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as she let out a small laugh and hung her head down, letting out an annoyed grunt. She was over-stimulated, though there was part of her that never wanted it to stop. It was a strange sensation for her.
‘I… don’t think I can…’ She whined.
Loki folded himself down more over her, so his chest was against her back. He slid one hand underneath her and started slowly stroking her clit, his other hand wrapped around the front of her neck where he squeezed a little, testing the waters.
‘You can and you will cum again, be a good girl for me, I know you can do it.’ He purred into her ear.
Her body reacted very well to his test… He felt her squeeze his cock in the way that she was about to cum again. And cum she did, her mind shut down completely from how dominant he was being and pushing all the right buttons.
Loki squeezed her neck again as she came, feeling her covering his cock with even more of her juices made him cum too, he couldn’t hold off for any longer or he thought he would combust on the spot. It was the most wonderful orgasm he’d ever had as her cunt continued to flutter around him as she slowly came down from her multiple forced orgasms.
He collapsed on top of her, though was careful not to entirely crush her. She was completely spent beneath him, though still felt floaty at the way his cock twitched inside, dribbling cum into her.
It took a good ten minute before either of them could move. Loki carefully slipped out of her and rolled onto his side. Claire turned her head to the side so she could see him, he had a blissed out goofy look on his face, making her smile.
‘Jesus christ… Loki… You’re going to kill me by orgasms at this rate. How… how are you so good?’ She still felt a little breathless.
Loki chuckled and stroked her hair back from her sweaty forehead, then he trailed the tips of his fingers down the side of her face, making her skin tingle. Her body was quite sensitive at his touch as it was, but even more so right now.
‘It’s just listening and feeling your body very closely.’ He hummed softly.
‘I wish I could make you feel like that.’ Claire said as her cheeks went bright red and she lay her head on the pillow.
Loki smiled and shuffled in closer, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in snugly to him. ‘Believe me, you do.’ He reached down between them and between her legs, making her whine as he slid his fingers against her a few times. He brought his hand up, showing their mess, though a lot of it was his. ‘This is what you do to me. Just as much as what comes from you.’ He winked at her.
‘Ok, ok.’ Claire giggled and turned her face down into the pillow.
Loki wiped his hand on her ass cheekily, earning a playful glare from her. He put his arms around her again and held her as they both closed their eyes and sighed in contentment.
‘I’m going to need to have another shower.’ She grumbled.
‘We can both shower together in the morning. You’re too cosy, I’m not letting you go.’ Loki rumbled as she buried her head under his chin.
‘I can’t turn down a shower together.’ Claire smiled against him.
-
On Wednesday during school, it was late morning. Loki and Claire were teaching a class as usual, it was going well. Loki let Claire take over certain subjects, which she loved doing.
She was currently showing a power point presentation on the board up front, when suddenly there was a very loud scream that came from a student, out in the hall.
Loki’s blood ran cold at the sound.

SFW Dating David Loki headcanons!!
Oh boy, being with this man will be pretty rocky and take a lot of communication and patience tbh. He'll often be absent, late for dates, or have to reschedule them due to his demanding job as a detective.
I'd say David doesn't really have the time to create many deep relationships, mostly fleeting ones. A few one night stands here and there, but a rare occurrence none the less. He's not too into flings but he's a rather lonely person and still a man with needs if ya know what I mean 👀
But! Back to his absentness, let's say you're someone who's stuck around for awhile and understand his life style and him as a person more or less. He never enjoys cancelling on you or not being able to spend time with you. You're very important to him but he's also got a important job to do.
It'll stress him out a bit, he's a bit of a perfectionist and a pretty empathetic person in general. He'll try his damn best to make time for you since he does really appreciate you putting up with him and being one of the very few people he can be himself and relax around. Definitely feels like he doesn't deserve you, or just got really lucky. 💖
David's not picky with dates and definitely won't mind if its just you picking out places that you enjoy. He'll like doing whatever if its with you.
I'd say one of his favorite activities to do with you is travel if you're into such a thing. He likes exploring and learning new things about people and the world, especially the more positive aspects since he mostly sees the ugly side of humanity at work.
Another one would be going to see a movie or going to your home and cooking a meal for him whilst you listen to music or what have you. It's very comforting to him and relaxes him. Being with you and being close to you really is a nice get away from the harsh world out there, that waits for him every day. He also doesn't really cook for himself too often or has time to enjoy home cooked meals. He always loves your meals even if you're not the most fancy cook.
He'll sometimes try to repay the favor, he can be a pretty decent cook when he really tries.
He'll be very grateful if you're particularly understanding of his chaotic schedule and the strain it puts him through. He'll often try to hide how much a case is wearing him out of effecting him, wanting to for your sake.
That stress tic he has will often give it away though.
He'll be very soft with you and even a little dorky at times. David enjoys making you laugh with his dry/sarcastic humor. Seeing you smile or hearing your laugh is one of the highlights of his day.
So expect phone calls from him while hes at work pretty often. He likes to keep in contact with you to try and make up for when he's not there.
But there will be times where he won't call at all due to a particularly difficult or tasking case. He'll make it up to you though.
He always tries to make it up to you.
I'd say his love languages are mostly acts of service, words of affirmation, and physical touch.
The detective himself isn't a very clingy person but if you are, he'll very much enjoy it actually. He didn't have the best childhood nor youth and it may take a bit to break his walls down, but once he lets you in he'll take all that you'd want to give him.
For him I'd say he likes to hold you a lot. He's a very protective guy and it relaxes him to always have you in his arms, knowing you're there and that you're safe.
David's pretty flexible though. If you enjoy certain other things more he'll definitely take note of it. He's a very perceptive guy, being a detective and all.
Like say if you enjoy receiving gifts he'll enjoy getting you the things that you like. He wants you to know that he really does love you even if he can't be by your side all the time, so he'll often express that with his actions.
Now David is a very intelligent and logical guy, but also has a lot of internal fears that he tries to hide.
So when it comes to jealousy, I'd say he'd only get a little jealous if someone was able to offer you more than he could in the stability department. It's really one of his biggest regrets that he can't be there for you more often than he'd like to.
David likes to protect and to provide, so if another person appears that you begin to become good friends with and are able to spend more time with than him, he'll start to get afraid that you'll tire of him not being around and prefer the person who can be around more.
He trusts you, and doesn't blame you- he just doesn't want to lose you. I feel you'd either notice something was up and ask him about it, or he'd eventually wisen up and awkwardly bring it up.
I feel he'd just need some reassurance and he'd realise that he was being silly, then apologise to you; also probably asking how he can make it up to you as usual. 💕
David has a great ability at remaining calm and rational, and when it comes to you, even more so. I don't ever really see him raising his voice at you, even if/when you yell during arguments and fights.
He'd try his best to diffuse whatever was going on and be understanding. Or just wait until you let it all out and give you your space before coming back to talk to you more.
Depending on how bad the fight is, and he's the angry one, David would probably need some space as well. Probably go on a drive. It helps him think and calm down.
All in all, it'll be turbulent and may take time to get close to him depending on how you are, but once he's in- he's all in.
Loyal, dependable when it matters, understanding, paitent, and a great romantic partner.

Girllll I've been spending my holidays with rereading Nobody's Home and I just wanted to ask, are Circe and Loki divorced? If so, what made you divorce them?
YUP the story is set post psp, and part of my backstory for the beakers is them getting a divorce!
so when looking at their relationship i tried to take everything into consideration that the pc and psp game gave to us. let me put a below the cut though so not everyone has to be witness to me inflicting the makings of chronic joint pain on myself:
Tumblr media
we know poor nervous died at one point. the implications from both games about how he came to be their test subject are quite conflicting, but i went with emily and annies claims that he signed up to be their test subject for money, as it, from my perspective, tied better into explaining their current situation and provided more detail in general as opposed to maxis' sloppy memory distribution.
with their first subject, the beakers could to some extent rest on the risk a job like this entails and neatly detail it in the contract they had nervous sign to avoid charges as much as possible. in addition to that, they were able to throw a lot of money at preventing the sensationalization of it, but it did come at a cost: 1) selling the castle to make up for it and 2) circe losing her license and the hospital ceasing any affiliation with her. cut to the sad little paradise place house and circe only being hinted at doing 'business' by that time:
left with a less extensive financial repertoire, loki is eager to do whatever it may take to get his precious castle back, and, once he invented something he believed to be a future gold mine, secured some secret patents that will net him millions (quote: circe). with loki, by her assumption, not being willing to share the profits with her, it makes sense for circe to be uneasy and distrustful about this, as the two are already on less safe ground, both in regards to finances and the law, and now he wants to keep all the money he'll be making to himself? her secret about harbouring some underlying resentment for loki's independence and distinction is also pretty convenient here and can be used as an implication that she wasn't as lucky as her husband, particularly regarding him not facing repercussions the same way she did. circe, on the other hand, is having an affair. while that was a product of mind control and not her fault, neither she or loki know that. all that is being revealed to loki is his wife cheating on him. this is where they're left at. depending on the string of dialogue, loki will say that if anyone moves out, it will be his wife, cause it's his house.
after thinking about it, circe would most likely move out immediately. after all of that happening inc. circes slap interaction loop, i can't see either of them comfortable spending even one more night at the same house together. while it is revealed at the end of the game that newlow was mindcontrolling the citizens, we don't know when and how fast these news will actively be passed along, what investigations are being led, etc. - point being, the trifecta of the beakers still being in each others presence, these news reaching them by that time and drawing the correct conclusions from it is the best case scenario but, after the considerations given above, not the most likely one. especially because there's an urgent issue that would capture their attention almost immediately after the game storyline is over: gimi branko. unlike nervous where they could rely on a contract, they literally kidnapped this guy and kept him locked up against his will, and someone had to save him aka he can press charges and tell everything in great detail, with a witness to top it off. they don't have the financial resources to buy themselves out of that anymore (loki's patents aside, but as of now he hasn't seen a cent of that and sure wouldn't consider his wife given recent events), the charges are more dire AND they're at odds with each other.
so i totally had them rat each other out, both hoping to get the lower charge by placing as much blame on the other person as possible. even if gimi being gone were the very first thing they noticed after being at each other's throat, judging by the way they already talked about each other before both their suspicions turned out to be true, there's way too much mutual distrust that built up over a long period of time for them to suck it up for the occasion and not prioritizing their own asses. and thats the end of the evil couple.

7 Minutes
Tumblr media
Rating: R
Storyline: Everyone decides to play 7 minutes in heaven, and guess who picks the god of mischief..
Y/N sipped at her drink, still trying to keep her buzz going as she still could hear the annoying pitch of a drunk Tony Stark in the background as he gathered the crowd for the next game.
''honestly aren't we a little old for-'' she heard Nat start but Tony already tossed the bag at her to pass around once an item was collected from each person.
''I'm more surprised he's still standing'' Y/N added, her heart rate picking up when you saw Thor coming over, dragging Loki with him and her eyes immediately dropped down.
He had been allowed to remain under tight supervision while now and again doing 'community service' for his sentence, aka tagging along on small missions and what not. the strict rule was via Fury: don't do anything that would risk your job. Y/N took another sip of her drink as she shuddered at the thought of Fury's threat.. but it's not like he'd find out her feelings towards Loki, so her job was safe..
Loki was definitely not in the mood for any sort of game, but he had to tread lightly since he was here on the good graces of his brother. If he wanted to keep things at least remotely in his favor, he had to play along.
Figuring shed just add a damn item for the hell of it, she knew Stark wouldn't shut up if she didn't participate and passed the bag along.
With a famous eye roll, Loki pulling out one of his marked daggers. About to put it in the bag, Thor stopped him with a reproachful look. "What?" Loki asked before realizing and sighed. "Oh, alright," he grumbled, putting a cover over the blade of the dagger and dropping it in the bag.
''now we got more than one closet around here so just take whatever's available, i do also have cond-''
''we go the idea.'' Y/N chimed before the bag was tossed at her by Tony and she gave him a look.
''sounds like you want to go first then.'' Tony said with hidden sarcasm as they both flipped each other off before she reached in the bag.
Already finding Tony's item and quickly snatched the next thing instead to dodge that bullet, the item she pulled out just so happened to be the god of mischief himself. Most of the males in the group quickly glanced at Loki and some shifted with concern and uncomfortableness.
''perhaps you should pick something else..'' Bruce encouraged.
Y/N's eyes widened as they couldn't help but snap up to her chosen partner's own. Loki shared the same look at how that had caught him by genuine surprise, evident by his expression losing its normal sullenness.
Thor shook his head, once again nudging Loki's arm. "I'm sure Loki will behave himself!" He said. "Right, brother?"
Loki blinked to get over his surprise, nodding his head. "-With my life on the line, I'd be stupid to try something foolish,..." he said with a nod, just so everyone knew he was serious as he gave a wavered smile, his mind not exactly in the right place as he mentally pulled himself together. He didn't know what he would do, but it would be away from prying eyes, whatever it was, and that was enough to motivate him to behave.
Honestly most of the conversation was drowned by Y/N's own nerves.. it was just a game, right? Fury will never find out.. it s not like they had to do anything? they're could just.. talk for seven minutes or something- as she got up and shyly moved forward, Quill stuck his leg out and caused her to stumble forward, making her quickly reach out and grasp Loki's awaiting hand quickly.
They mutually gave Peter a death look who tried holding back his laughter as Y/N and Loki quickly retracted their hands before Thor ushered them towards the closet in a hurry, looking more excited than Stark honestly as they both looked like they were both plotting and humored over the whole thing. With the door slamming shut behind him as they found themselves in the dark and cramped together where their shoes were practically touching, Thor's voice could be heard from the outside.
''remember what Tony said about the Midgardian protection! what was it called again?''
Y/N's face heated up, glad it couldn't be seen as she tried to get her eyes to adjust to the darkness and bit her lip 'your brother is impossible sometimes..'' she muttered quietly as she tried to break the silence and she could heard Loki give a light chuckle.
''I've had to deal with that impossibility for years" he said with a small grin and hesitated, trying to think on if what he said could be considered rude or not so he quickly changed the subject. "So what are you meant to do in this game?" he asked, pretending to be clueless. "I'm not sure there's an Asgardian equivalent to trapping two people in a small room together."
The blush again. ''...to be honest- i don't think there are any definite rules during the seven minutes, one could talk or nap like some I've heard doing in there, but the stereotypical thing most Midgardians find themselves doing is..'' she quickly stopped herself, suddenly feeling nervous as she glanced down at the floor with her mind in panic. Dare she say it? ''.... talk..''
He nodded along gently, folding his arms across his chest as he couldn't help but smile at the sound of her nervousness and her answer repeated itself, showing how panicked a bit she was in this enclosed, dark situation. "Well, that sounds rather boring," He stayed quiet for a moment, his cheeks growing a little warm. "Well, perhaps we could try and do something else," he said lightly, slowly standing to his full height now as his voice lowered. "After all, it is just you and I in here, no one else to see us..." He gently reached out; his eyes barely having adjusted to the dark but just enough to help rest his hand against her cheek.
Y/N's cheeks reddened, a small flinch showing as his touch came out of nowhere, but she didn't back away. Her eyes slowly raised to his, barely being able to make out any of his features.. but just enough as butterflies awoke in her stomach. he was gentle, his long slender fingers caressing her as she felt herself relax as she pushed all thoughts of warning aside, from out there and even beyond out there as Fury's voice faded off in her head. ''..whatever happens in the closet stays in the closet'' she whispered, almost sounding like a warning as her hand took his and she gently kissed his open palm.
When she kissed his palm, it almost set an alarm in his mind and he leaned forward, his hands moving to find her cheeks, roaming her neck. "Forgive me, but I'm going to take that as a sign of permission," he said softly, leaning in and catching her lips in a kiss.
Y/N felt a shiver of pleasure run down her spin as she felt his soft lips meet hers in a tender and gentle kiss. She didn't hesitate to kiss back as he sighed in her mouth, their bodies relaxing as they leaned closer and closer together until he was backing her up, using his body to move hers and pressed against her so her back was against the wall. she never really noticed how different their heights were until she had to almost stand on her toes to help accommodate him bending down, resting her hands on his shoulders as his traveled down to her waist.
It didn't take long before he wrapped his arms around her waist, picking her up so they were almost at eye level, still gently keeping her against the wall and that their his kiss could deepen as he leaned more forward into her.
Loki felt her legs wrap around his waist, which was an incredibly nice feeling, cementing in his mind that she was certainly feeling something towards him as well. His hands had found themselves cradling her rump, his lips pulling back and moving to her jawline and now down her neck as he murmured against her skin ''I wish I could see you..''
Y/N bit her lip as her eyes fluttered closed at the sensation of his lips on her skin, feeling him nipping and sucking at her skin as her hands traveled to his hair, hearing his moan as she tangled her fingers. ''but you already know what I look like..'' she lightly teased, wondering how she was still able to form words at the moment.
Loki chuckled and buried his face in the crook of her neck, inhaling her sweet aroma ''I'm sure you're making very beautiful faces right now'' he teased back and smirked as he felt her shiver against him. He was suddenly overcome with the urge to see her, all of her, a feeling that surged through him in almost lightning speed that he gripped her thighs slightly tighter, holding onto her as she gripped his shoulders more and her back arched so her chest pressed against him. hesitation showed though when he felt her body tense ever so slightly and he leaned back a little to look at her with a sheepish look. ''perhaps you should set the pace..''
Y/N held back a light laugh as they pressed their foreheads together and she bit her lip ''you're a god Loki.. other's will break if you're not careful'' she gently teased but advised as she slowly ran her fingers through his hair in a smooth motion, having no doubt he could probably feel her heart beat against him.
"I suppose so," he said gently, leaning in to plant gentle kisses along her neck. "In that case, I suppose I could certainly go much slower for you to handle it." He grinned gently against her neck, his hold still on her thighs but gentler now, from her advice. His lips trailed up and down her neck with smooth motions, his eyes closed as she played with his hair.
''..i can handle it-'' she said stubbornly, quickly hushed by the feel of his lips against her neck and honestly sounding like a child trying to be brave. she practically melted in his arms as she leaned back a little so she can capture his lips again, humming against them as she relaxed herself.
After a few moments, he pulled away, gently lifting one hand to brush away some of her hair behind her ear "Do you think our time is almost up?" he breathed, almost sounding like he was planning something otherwise.
Y/N gently wiggled from his grip, setting on the floor and placing an ear to the door a moment. Silence. She turned back at him and although he couldn't see the playful look in her eye, he definitely heard it in her voice. ''what are you going to do if it's not?''
"Well, I can't exactly do everything I want to in a little closet like this," he smirked and slowly stalked forward. "So I suggest we rebel and take things to a larger setting so we're comfortable. How does that sound?"
Y/N's cheeks reddened regardless of her being the one to hint at their next step, but before she could truly wrap her brain around the whole thing, the words had already left her mouth. ''alright-''
~~~
Her back hit the mattress with him on top of her in a second, his hands traveling to her side while the other rested on her cheek as his lips captured hers once more. It had been difficult getting past the crowd once they had left the closet, having to listen to all the jokes, accusations and remarks as they passed but Loki had finally had enough to where he just used magic to get them to his room, door locked and sealed.
Y/N wrapped her arms around his neck as he laid his body on top of hers, feeling her against him fit practically like a glove and she hummed against his lips, feeling his bulge press against her and noticed how his body began to shake. She knew he was holding back for her sake and she pulled away from the kiss just a moment to look him in the eyes with gentle want and understanding ''..go ahead..''
He could feel his mind slightly running wild, but he kept it under control, taking a breath before he crashed his lips onto hers. Never had they thought they would get to this point with each other, but how their bodies reacted told them it has been far to long. He felt her hips beginning to rise and fall, rubbing against him as her hands ran down his shoulders and over his back, pausing here and there and he chuckled, sitting up to straddle her hips and look down at her frustration. With a bit of magic, his top half of his leather and armor disappeared and he smirked "Is that better for you?"
''a bit, yes'' she teased as she ran her hands along his shoulders and back, her nails gently running along his smooth skin before her finger tips found his chest and abs, pushing him up a little so she can prop herself and remove her own shirt.
"Well, this is certainly intricate," he said gently as he looked over the black lace hungrily, hovering over her closely as his hand traced along the cup of the bra and along the skin of her chest. He gave her a smile, catching her lips in a slightly stronger kiss as his hips once again moved against hers.
Moving his hands to her back where the clasps of the bra rested, He worked for just a moment to figure it out before undoing it and it slipped from her chest without him ever breaking the kiss. He smiled into the kiss when she moved down to unbuckle his pants, moving his hips and gently shaking his head. "I believe you're not done undressing just yet," he said gently, his hands moving to hold her chest, feeling more of her soft skin on her breasts with a gentle sigh of satisfaction.
''you're not either might i add'' she lightly challenged with a hidden pout and she grinded her hips up against him to tease, hoping to get him that much faster.
"Alright, then," he said, moving off her for just a moment to remove his pants, also taking a moment to remove hers. He hovered over her again, his hand slightly dipping between her thighs. "Better?" He smirked as she let out a small gasp when his fingers found her intimate part, already seeing how ready she was through her panties.
Her hand slowly traveled down his chest and stomach before she rubbed against the bulge in his boxers, biting her lip at his intimidating size as she spoke between whimpers as his hand dipped under and began rubbing small fast circles against her clit. ''i-I don't think it's g-going to fit..''
He couldn't help but laugh gently as his eyes closed a moment, feeling her hand rub at his member as he strained to speak a moment and brushed a finger gently at her entrance. 'gods she was tight..' "Well, maybe not all at once, of course, But I'm willing to work towards that point if you have patience." He dipped again, kissing down her neck to her chest, rubbing between her thighs with a bit more urgency while his other hand slowly added a finger into her entrance.
Y/N moaned, her back arched as her hands gripped around his back and her head fell back against the pillow as he began to finger fuck her in a slow rhythm. ''i can't promise patience...'' she lightly teased, her voice but of a whisper now.
He stayed on her chest, roaming around with his tongue as his hand stayed between her thighs, finally getting to the spot they had been itching for but not nearly at the speed she needed. He wanted to see how much her patience could be stretched, after all.
Y/N made sure to nip at his neck, feeling him add another digit and she helped herself by reaching into his boxers and stroking him up and down, keeping up with his slow, agonizing pace.
"If that's meant to be a punishment for teasing, it's not helping your case," he mused with a chuckle, looking at her as he slowly removed his fingers, her eyes glistening at him and her loss. Patience running thin, he just snapped her panties off in one go and a small flash of green and his boxers were gone to. He moved down and captured her lips once more in a more passionate and hungrier kiss than only grew when he slipped his tongue in her mouth and dominated her orally. He took hold of himself and aligned himself at her entrance, feeling her breath hitch as he buried his face in the crook of her neck and kissed her skin gently ''whenever you're ready Y/N..'' he whispered, feeling her shake a little but the way she clung onto him made sure that she didn't plan on letting him go anytime soon and he felt her nod.
''fuck me Loki..'' she breathed and his pupils dilated, a primal expression taking over and it took all his strength to slowly enter her, all the way to the hilt instead of slamming all the way in like a stallion in heat.
Loki kissed her a bit stronger, not knowing how much longer he would be able to really hold back. But he had to, for Y/N's sake, or this chance would never come again. He began his slow movements by moving out to his tip before burying himself once more completely before starting over, his eyes closing from the pleasure of her glorious moan as her fingers gripped his back. ''you feel wonderful Y/N..'' he breathed softly.
Y/N shuddered out of pleasure, feeling him as she shut her eyes and took all of him in. he was patient, gentle, and she couldn't get enough of him. she clung to him as much as she could, adjusting fully to accommodate his size as she caught her breath ''..i need you..'' she breathed, slowly starting to buck her hips.
Loki's lips now trailed to her neck, moving his hips along with hers to create a steady rhythm, small moans coming from his throat with every little movement as he increased his speed.
Y/N bit her lip as she began feeling her muscles contract around him as he hit all the right spots. Gripping the sheets now, her back arched and her breath hitched as his hand found her clit and rubbed tight circles with his teeth leaving marks everywhere along her neck which she knew was going to be a show for tomorrow. ''Loki..'' she begged as she began getting close to reaching hers and her eyes blurred ever so slightly as his speed picked up into long, deep thrusts into her.
"You first, my darling," he said gently, kissing along the side of her face as her hands flew to grip his back, her finger nails running along his back and made him rut her all the faster.
His whispers seemed to help the situation all the more as she clung onto him, her inner muscles contracting hard as she met her release in a wave, screaming out his name as she shook and his fingers slowed amongst her clit but his thrusts pounded into her faster as they began growing faster.
Giving a few more deep thrusts, his lips crashed onto hers as he released, shuddering as he emptied himself and the only sound in the room was their heavy breathing. Making sure to keep gentle hands on his shoulders to prevent himself from collapsing down, he slowly pulled himself out of her dripping pussy and laid himself down at her side panting.
Scooting herself to his side, he didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her and hold her close with a kiss to her forehead and she cuddled close to his chest. She felt him began to chuckle and she couldn't help but smile at his mood, looking up at him with dick drunk eyes and care and he looked down at her with a smirk.
''I quite like this game darling.''
An Unexpected Plan
PAIRING: loki laufeyson x reader
POWERS: none
WC: 2.6
SUMMARY: As a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, it was safe to say that you had seen a lot of strange things in your day. Glowing cubes from space, aliens and planetary-scale Armageddons were considered just another day at the office. However, the opening of the multiverse means infinite possibilities, including some that you’d never expect.
WARNINGS: possibly ooc Loki? (this is my first time writing him.)
AUTHOR’S NOTE: So this is based off the post-credit scene in Ant Man: Quantumania for the sneak peek of the Loki series s2. I actually have s1 written on Wattpad with an OC (called Everybody Wants to Rule the World if you want to check it out!), but since Tumblr likes x reader more, I took out the oc. This was an idea I’ve had since I watched s1 so I finally just decided to write a one-shot of it. It may not be accurate to the rest of s2 once it’s released since I just made up some stuff around the 3-second clip that we got.
As a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, it was safe to say that you had seen a lot of strange things in your day. From glowing space cubes of unknown origin to aliens trying to take over New York, the realm of what you considered impossible had broadened over the years. Your considerably high rank as a field agent had allowed you to experience some of these things first hand, which was both a blessing and a curse. It was more so the latter now as you’d been tasked with keeping the notorious trickster God of mischief from living up to his name. Luckily, you were well-equipped for the job— and more than just in the weapons department; you had the uncanny ability to see through lies. (This proved to be exceptionally helpful in an organization whose secrets had secrets.)
However, it was only after more than a decade of service that you were finally thinking that maybe you had bitten off more than you could chew. The God of Mischief had certainly earned his title; in an unforeseen turn of events, he’d gotten his hands on the Tesseract a second time and, before he could whisk himself away to who-knew-where to wreak more havoc, you’d latched onto his arm at the last second to join him for the spin as well. (At least nobody could ever say that you weren’t dedicated to your work.) After that, things had taken a turn for the worse and you’d both been taken to a mysterious time agency and had narrowly escaped death. (Well, maybe death was still on the table— your inevitable end had just been postponed.)
Needless to say, you and Loki hadn’t started out as the best of friends. When you weren’t trying to kill each other (verbally, at least), you glared at one another in sulky silences. But, as they say, trauma draws people together. Somewhere along the line between the end of the world and multiple variations of yourselves, you’d become something akin to. . . acquaintances? Allies? Not necessarily friends, but bonded by enough strange events to have a tentative trust with each other. You were almost certain that Loki wanted more from your relationship, but you hadn’t really forgiven him for what he’d done in New York and besides— whoever heard of a mortal and a God getting a good ending?
Now, however, none of that really seemed to matter; being displaced from your timeline certainly held a bigger threat than whatever was going on between the two of you. After your world-shattering revelation that the statue in the TVA’s library was no longer of three space lizards, but Kang himself you scrambled for answers and solutions. In a desperate attempt to understand the new situation you were in, you’d gotten the new-Mobius’ help of locating (a) Kang in this present timeline, which happened to be in the Victorian Era.
Although the three of you were hidden in shadows in the back of the theater where Kang’s presentation was taking place, your instincts were on high alert. The past few days? (Months?) had taught you that nothing was as it seemed. Even if Kang was currently pretending that he hadn’t seen your little group, you knew not to underestimate him. Every muscle in your body was tense, ready to flee the theater at a moment’s notice if necessary. If you were less of an agent and more of a civilian, you might have even grabbed Loki’s hand— which was only inches from yours in the cramped space— as an expression of the fear that you currently felt. (While you were a seasoned veteran and had seen much in your day, any sane person who knew what Kang was capable of would be scared of him.) Loki seemed to share your trepidation as his eyes never left the enigmatic presenter.
Mobius spoke in a whisper from the God’s other side: “you made him sound like this terrifying figure!”
Neither you nor Loki took your attention away from the man at the front of the room as you replied in sync, “he is.”
As if he’d heard your quiet conversation, Kang’s— in this timeline called Victor— gaze snapped to where you were standing. Although his expression didn’t change and he continued to speak to the crowd, you felt an icy wash of fear trickle down your spine. Instinctively, your weight shifted forward to your toes as you prepared to flee, knowing it wouldn’t be good if Kang or any of his variations caught you as he surely intended to.
You exchanged a glance with Loki, almost one of the same mind after you’d experienced meeting He Who Remains the first time. For Mobius’ benefit, the God breathed out: “run.”
You didn’t need to be told twice; the three of you (after some prompting to get the TVA agent moving) pushed your way as calmly— but also hurriedly— as possible through the crowd to reach the doors. While there wasn’t anyone visibly chasing after you yet, you knew better than to be fooled by the appearance of peace. Once you’d reached the busy London street, you exchanged a look with the men. Not wanting to waste anymore time, you gave one word of warning: “if we get split up, good luck.”
Then, you broke into the fastest run you could considering the crowds of people, animals and carts that went about their daily business. (How nice it would be to not be aware of the multiverse, time travel, interdimensional threats. . . but you consoled yourself that you’d probably become too bored with such a quiet life.) Unsurprisingly, Loki was able to keep pace with you pretty easily— considering he was a God who had to match your extensive training— but Mobius seemed to struggle, especially with dodging obstacles. That was fine, though (as mean as that sounded), since Kang wasn’t after him.
As you ran at a (mostly) steady pace through the winding London streets, cries and shouts began to sound from behind you— it seemed that Kang and his variants were giving the chase. You blocked out the sounds as you focused on running; one foot in front of the other, arms swinging, bent, by your sides, breaths even: in, out, in, out. You ran as you’d been trained to do: for your life. You were so focused on staying ahead of the Kangs that you even lost track of your “running partner” as Loki seemed to fall out of your peripheral vision.
You rounded a corner, and then another, and then— a hand reached out to grab your arm. If given the choice between fight or flight, your always chose the former; you reacted instantly, kicking out with your feet as you attempted to put your attacker in a headlock to take them down.
It was only after a couple seconds of struggling (why wouldn’t this peasant man go down? Didn’t they eat a diet of potatoes and gruel?), you finally registered the man’s protests: “whoa, hey! It’s me— it’s me!”
You let go to eye him suspiciously. In a flash of green, Loki’s familiar form appeared and you let out a sigh of relief which (as it usually was when it came to him) was quickly followed by irritation. “Okay, what the hell? I know you’re the fricken’ God of Mischief and all, but is now really a time to pull tricks?”
“It’s not a trick,” he reassured you. “Well, perhaps it is, in a sense— we can disguise ourselves and blend in, get them off our tail.”
The disguise of a peasant man returned, complete with grubby clothes and matted hair. You curled your lips in disgust. “Far cry from being an Asgardian prince, huh?” you mocked him. “And besides, there’s two flaws to that brilliant plan: one, what about me? I don’t have magic, so pulling me aside to tell me this is just a waste of time. And second, I’m pretty sure Kang the Conqueror can see through something this. . . elementary.”
The peasant man scowled at you, displeased by your jabs. “This is genius, first of all. Before you go touting that you know all about magic, mortal, I can share illusions. Doesn’t your super-secret special agent school teach you self-preservation, or are you willing to take the chance and outrun an impossible amount of Kangs?”
You pursed your lips, weighing your options. As much as you hated to admit it, Loki was right; taking a chance on him was probably better then depending on your running abilities. (Although, to be fair, you were a pretty good runner.) You matched his annoyed expression and crossed your arms against your chest. “Fine, we’ll do it your way— but for the record, my father taught me self-preservation.”
The God smirked at you in that irritating way of his and extended his arm towards you. “Take my hand.”
You watched him skeptically for a moment, remembering how he’d openly admitted to flirting with you in the hours before you’d confronted the Void. As you hesitated— your fatal flaw— you listened for your pursuers and heard faint shouts from their rough interactions with the common people. They were still some distance away, but not comfortable enough to completely forego Loki’s plan. You sighed and— with as much distain as you could muster— took the God’s hand.
There wasn’t anything immediately different about your appearance; when you looked down, you could still see your now-worn combat gear and dusty boots. However, when you looked over at the man next to you, you no longer saw a peasant man; Loki was back to being his infuriating (ahem, handsome) self. You frowned in confusion as you lifted your hand, turning it back and forth to try and see the difference.
“You don’t see the illusion when you’re in it,” he explained with an impossible amount of smugness. “I can assure you, however, that we look as much the same as the rest of this doldrum crowd.”
You gave him a curt nod. “Fine,” you said again. “Let’s try to get out of here, shall we?”
They made their way back onto the main street, looking just the same as the rest of the passers-by. To the rest of the common people, they merely looked like a peasant couple holding hands, out for a nice stroll. Speaking of— “shouldn’t we run?” you asked, looking over your shoulder. Although you couldn’t see the Kangs because of the crush of people, you knew they were there.
“That would draw attention to us,” Loki replied evenly, keeping the steady pace. “All parts of the illusion must be convincing for it to work.”
So, as much as all of your instincts screamed at you to run, you forced yourself to match his steps. Thankfully, the busy city was too noisy to have conversation, otherwise you might have strangled Loki right on the street. (Okay, maybe you weren’t at each other’s throats as often anymore, but he still annoyed the hell out of you.)
It happened suddenly: one moment, you were walking along with Loki at a brisk pace, and the next a man with a golden pharaoh’s headdress appeared next to them. His dark, intense eyes swept the area as he mercilessly pushed carts and people out of his way. Your grip on Loki’s hand tightened in warning, causing the God to look down at you. You jerked your head to the dark-skinned man dressed in gold. His eyes followed your motion and widened before he quickly looked away. Neither of you spoke since the illusion wouldn’t disguise your voice, but your pace picked up slightly.
The next few minutes were very tense as you waited to see if Loki’s illusions would work. It seemed as if the Kang in the Egyptian-styled clothes was tailing you. Loki knew that his magic could only do so much; to the well-trained eye, a very faint glimmer of green could still be seen. They needed to make their illusion even more believable; to do something so out of the ordinary— something that was entirely ordinary, actually— that it would convince even the keenest of observers (which surely Kang was.)
The idea came to him in an instant, causing his chest to fill with warmth. While this would certainly not be his first kiss, it would be his first kiss with you. (And, if he were being uncharacteristically honest, it might be his only chance.) Loki glanced at the Agent out of the corner of his eye, knowing how poorly such a proposal would be received. But, this was a viable suggestion to get the Kangs away from them. So, he tugged the woman next to him to a stop.
You turned to look at the God with an irritated expression. “Need a break, do you?”
Loki was looking down at you intently, his emerald gaze holding yours. Perhaps for the first time, he ignored your dig. “Kiss me.”
Not sure if you heard him right, you stared at him with wide eyes. “What?”
“Kiss me,” he repeated, a little more urgently. He glanced up at the Egyptian Kang who still lingered nearby. He lowered his voice as he hastily explained, “he suspects us. No one looks twice at two people kissing.”
“You’re cra— mmph,” your furious retort was cut off as he placed his lips on yours.
Again, your first impulse was to run, but this time for a different reason. It had been a long time since you’d kissed anyone— since your last love had ended in disaster. You’d vowed to never let anyone this close again after that, but here you were, allowing the God of Mischief to kiss you on a busy street. People brushed past you and jostled you, but Loki’s hands lightly held your arms, keeping you in place. You still had half a mind to push him away and ask what the hell was he thinking, but the other half of your thoughts registered how. . . good of a kisser he was.
You supposed that over a thousand years of practice certainly had its benefits. His lips were soft but insistent on yours, there was just enough tongue movement to make your stomach swoop (the traitor) and although you would deny it if asked, you could feel the electricity zip through you from the action. Just as your shock wore off enough to really kiss him back, Loki pulled away, his gaze flicking over your head to watch the crowd.
“He’s gone,” the God said with relief. Once he’d assessed that the danger had passed, he looked down at you with a smirk. “For someone who claims to hate me so much, I expected you to slap me instead of kiss me.”
You glared at him, any semblance of warmth that had come from the kiss disappearing as quickly as mist in the sun. “That can still be arranged.”
He gave you a shit-eating grin and wrapped an arm around your shoulders. “Come on, Agent. Tell me you didn’t enjoy that.”
You shoved his arm away and turned to resume your path through the crowd, your head held high. “I didn’t. Let’s go find Mobius. Hopefully he hasn’t gotten trampled by a stray horse or something.”
Since you’d already refocused on the mission at hand, you missed the way the God’s smug expression faltered slightly at your stout rejection. It only lasted for a fraction of a second before he quickly recovered and hurried to catch up with you. Grabbing your wrist, he added, “we should still keep our disguises up, just in case.”
Some devotional tips for closeted pagans, based on our own experiences
Not everything on this list will apply to everyone, and that's perfectly fine. Use what works for you and your practice, and leave what doesn't work. The beautiful thing about the pagan community is that we can each shape our own path based on our personal beliefs and practices. So without further ado, here's some things we do that might help you if you have to hide your spiritual beliefs.
Deity jars: this is one of the first things we ever did when we started leaving physical offerings for Loki a few months ago. A deity jar is basically a small jar filled with little things that you want to leave as offerings to the deity you work with, and it can be useful if you have to hide any objects that are of spiritual importance to you. We're able to hide ours in plain sight on top of our dresser where our altar is, and our mom just thinks it's another weird thing we like to collect. Our jar is filled with offerings to Loki such as a small pinecone, twigs, shells, a worm on a string (he loves those for whatever reason), and small coins.
Nonphysical offerings: sometimes you just aren't able to leave physical offerings for your deities on an altar like candles or food. What you can do instead is devote your time to them, especially if the activity you're doing is something related to your deity or is something they encourage you to do for your wellbeing. Shadow work and journaling are a fundamental aspect of our practice, so we always devote our journaling sessions to Thor and Loki. We also incorporate a lot of trauma work into our practice, especially our trauma related to storms and natural disasters; to honor Thor, we've developed a habit of thanking him anytime it storms where we live and use any moment where we work through our trauma as an offering to him since that's the main reason why he reached out to us.
Baking and cooking: this ties into the point listed above. If you're like us and enjoy working in the kitchen, making food for your deities is a great way to not only build your connection to them but also improve your skills. Thanks to the Internet, it's so incredibly easy to find recipes containing spices and other ingredients that your deities favor. Loki in particular loves it when we try new recipes that we've never made before, even if we're not entirely sure we'll like it.
Taking care of yourself: if you struggle a lot with your physical or mental health, this one is especially important. Sometimes the ultimate form of self care is doing what's best for you even when you don't feel like doing it, whether that's cleaning your room or getting a shower. We've all struggled with self care at some point or another, and the gods understand that. One of the greatest things you can do to honor them is to take care of your needs and be gentle with yourself, because they want what's best for us and understand that life can be a real pain in the ass sometimes. It's not always easy to get out of bed and eat or clean the house, but even baby steps are better than nothing and will make your deities happy all the same.
Giving back to those around you: if you're able to do something in your community that's related to your deity and would honor them, do it! For us personally, one of the biggest ways we honor Loki is to look after the younger neurodivergent and/or queer kids at school, because we've been in their place once and we understand how much of a difference it makes to have someone to look up to. It's common in the Norse pagan community for Loki to be the patron of those deemed to be social outcasts for whatever reason, so we've taken it upon ourselves to always look after our fellow outcasts and be a support for them whenever possible. For many of these kids, we're the first older person they've ever felt safe enough to come out to. And what could honor Loki more than that?
Again, these are all just based on our personal experiences and not all of it may apply to you. We're just sharing some things that we feel may help other folks out there who aren't yet able to be open about their beliefs, because we're in the same spot right now with our current living situation. And for those of you who can unfortunately relate to this: things will change. You won't have to hide such a core part of your being forever. One day you'll be able to openly practice your religion however you want, with nobody to tell you what you are and aren't allowed to believe in. -Blu
Ok how so what drabble can I get out of you for Loki hm? Youre on a roll here! 😈
Well, it's more than a drabble but whatever.
Idle Hands
Warnings: noncon/rape, abuse of magical powers, deception, size kink.
Character: Loki, mentions of Peter Parker (established relationship)
Summary: You get some unexpected help for Peter's surprise party.
Note: I would greatly appreciate reblogs, comments, and asks. Anything you can give me for feedback. As well, likes are always welcome. Thank you for taking the time to read.
Tumblr media
You rush down the hall with arms full, not able to see over the box you cling to. It’s not safe but you don’t have time to waste. It’s Peter’s birthday tonight and you’re in charge of making it perfect.
You turn the corner and bounce back as the cardboard is slightly crushed between you and your obstacle. You take a step back and issue an apology muffled by your load. You crane your head to see above the sparkly read ribbons poking out the top.
A sheepish smile draws your lips taut as your eyes meet a set of inquisitive green eyes, as imperious as they are curious. You’ve only met the Asgardian prince a few times, usually in the reluctant tow of his brother, and you can’t recall if a word ever passed between you.
“Oh, hi, I’m so sorry,” you say louder, not sure if he heard you the first time, “I wasn’t looking where I was going.”
“Wasn’t looking or couldn’t?” He challenges flatly.
You give a nervous chuckle and shift the box. Peter doesn’t talk much about Lkoi, he only says he tries to stay out of his way. Grumpy was among the words used to describe the younger Odinson.
“Both,” you answer, “again, I’m so sorry, I was only in a rush because Peter’s on his way back and–” you clamp your mouth shut and shake your head at yourself, “you don’t care. I’m jabbering. I’ll leave you be, no time to waste as I said.”
You swallow and go to step around him. He stops you as he places a pale hand on the corner of the box, long fingers curving around as he moves to block the hallway. He rests his other hand in a perfect mirror and subtly wiggles the box.
“Allow me,” he insists coolly, “it might prevent further collisions, yes?”
Your eyes round and you bat your lashes dumbly. You can’t argue, not because you need his help but because the way he looks at you, unfaltering and intent, makes you want to shrink to an even smaller size.
You nod stiffly as you let him take the box. You note how he does so as if it’s nothing.
“Thank you, Mr. uh…” You’re so used to the others; Mr. Stark, Mr. Rogers, Mr. Barnes…
“Loki shall do,” he assures and pivots, waiting for you to fill the space beside him, “please, direct me. I’m afraid I am still rather lost in this place… on this planet.”
You don’t expect his honesty. Or his friendliness. Just as you never expected to run straight into him.
“This way,” you point down the hall, “I’m sorry, I… kinda waited until the last moment and now I’m panicking which… means I’m talking too much.”
He chuckles, it’s soft, almost feline, “it does not displease me. I grew up with Thor and he does rather much talking and he is much less endearing.”
You smile, cheeks hot at the equally surprising compliment. You think back to the first time you met him, you always tend to hide behind Peter. He was only quiet, standoffish, you couldn’t claim to be any different. Perhaps, you’re more alike than you think.
“Oh, that’s kind of you to say but I know how I ramble. It’s my worst trait, besides my clumsiness which you’ve already witnessed,” you nervously chuckle and rub the back of your neck. He glances over at you and you rip your hand away to direct him down the next hall.
“Mr. Stark said I could use this room,” you step ahead of him and open the double doors, “not that he’s very happy about it. He said I should’ve asked earlier and I don’t think he’s wrong– there I go again.”
Loki follows you into the cozy den, leather couches, armchairs, a full bar with stools, and a grand view of the city. He places the box on the low table, bending as he does, his long jacket moving with him. He stands and smooths the fabric along his chest.
“I expect this is a Midgardian event,” he assumes as he rests his hand lightly on his chest.
“It’s Peter’s birthday. You’re welcome to come. I think some of the guests already have plans,” you pout, “but thank you for carrying all that. I have to get to decorating. Oh, jeez, I forgot his gift.”
“Where?” he asks.
You hesitate to answer, “not here. In our apartment. I know exactly where I put it. I was on my way out so I put it right on top of the counter and–”
“Alright, focus on it, close your eyes,” he advises.
“What do you… mean?”
“Just patience, and your hand,” he nears and offers his large white palm.
“Okay…” you slowly place your hand against his and close your eyes.
“Now, describe it again, this time, in detail,” he says.
“Alright, I put it on the counter, right by our entryway, it kind of juts out. I run into it all the time and it’s beside the mail I forgot to go through. The granite is brownish, I hate the colour, so drab, it looks like dirt and–”
You hear a fizzle and your eyes pop open. Loki’s other hand is outstretched with the giftbag decorated in multicolored polka dots. You pull your hand back in surprise.
“How did you do that?” you gasp.
“Old Asgardian magic,” he offers the present, “it’s nothing, really. You did most of the work.”
“Thank you,” you take the ribbon handles and take the bag to the bar and shove it behind where no one will see, “that’s amazing. Peter never told me you were magic.”
“Yes, well, I admit he hasn’t told me much of you either, but you seem lovely,” he grins.
You look at him. You don’t know him but something seems peculiar. Based on Peter and Tony and Steve… well you haven’t heard much good. Thor seems to be the only one who could stand Loki.
“I’m waiting on my brother so I was wandering the corridors and I confess I am idle so I could assist you if you require it. Of course, I haven’t much an eye for these things so your guidance will be much welcome.”
“Oh, you don’t have to–”
“It would help the time pass,” he says wistfully, “but I understand if you would prefer me to go. I’m sure you’re so excited to see your, uh, boyfriend and I wouldn’t want to spoil any of that.”
“Aw, no, I don’t mean– it’s only, I wouldn’t want to ask too much,” you clap your hands together as you come out from behind the bar, “but I could use someone taller to hang the banners.”
“I would be honoured to offer my height to your cause, lady,” he jokes with a sly smirk, “but first.”
He puts his hand to his high collar and hovers it down his chest. Slowly, his leather garb turns to a sleek black suit; thin tie, dark shirt, pants, and jacket, and polished pointed shoes. You are once more in awe of his tricks.
“Wow,” you can’t help a giggle, “that’s so cool.”
“Cool?” he echoes in amusement, “yes, I suppose.”
He turns without further regard and delves into the contents of the box. You come around the other side of the glass table and reach for the bag of balloons.
“I’ll blow these up and you can hang the streamers,” you say, “just along the wall, maybe drape it a bit at the corners. Then the one that says ‘happy birthday’ can go across the window.”
“Yes, I believe I can manage that,” he says as he pulls out the crepe and shiny banner.
You smile again and nod as you pull out the balloon pump and sit to begin your work. He doesn’t linger and sets to work intently. You get a few balloons inflated and tied and look up, the streamers floating up on their own accord as he stands with arms crossed. He doesn’t need to try hard, does he?
You refocus on your work, the even pump and expanding of balloons fills the silence. You flinch as he sits beside you, taking a balloon from the bag and holding it between his fingers. You glance over as you watch it inflate. You sigh.
“Are you showing off?” you ask as your balloon flies off the nozzle of the pump.
“Like I said, happy to help,” he grins again. For a moment, his green eyes linger on you, sparkling, “so you and Parker, you’ve been together very long?”
“Two years,” you answer, “maybe not very long but it feels like it.”
“Oh,” he hums as he ties the balloon and takes another, “in Midgardian years, it does seem much.”
“Well, how old are you then?” You ask.
“By my count, 1,060.”
You laugh but his expression assures you he’s very serious. You apologise and go back to pumping up balloons.
“I wasn’t meaning to… laugh but it’s a lot compared to us,” you explain.
“Oh yes, I am an old one,” he snickers, “here, at least.”
“Yeah,” you exhale and place another balloon on the table, “I don’t even know if we need all these. We’re not kids so…”
“How long has he been away?” he interjects as he places a balloon beside yours before sitting back.
“A month,” you admit gloomily, “every time he goes, it’s longer and longer. Maybe that’s why it feels like it’s been so long.”
“Oh, darling, that’s horrid. To be away so long from someone you love. I unfortunately don’t have many I feel of so passionately.”
“What about Thor?”
“I see him every day. Upon his insistence. He is my brother, yes, but he only makes me miss everyone else we’ve lost. Like my mother.”
“I’m sorry, that’s awful–”
“You needn’t keep apologising,” he resigns as he plants his hand behind you on the cushion as you balance on the edge, “what could you do for it?”
“I only feel bad, I didn’t mean to bring it up,” you roll the top of the bag of balloons and put it aside with the pump, “it must be hard being here and not having anywhere else.”
“Well, as my brother says, I only need to find a reason to enjoy it,” his voice is low and you sense him leaning closer, “like Parker has you, though I think if I were him, I wouldn’t leave you alone for a single moment.”
“That’s sweet, but he’s helping people and–”
You turn to him but your sentence is swallowed up as his mouth covers yours, his hand clamping around your chin. You murmur in surprise as he kisses you firmly, his other arm snaking around you, pulling you against him. You push against his chest as horror hammers in your chest.
You manage to part and gasp out, “Loki, what–”
He winks and your voice wisps to nothing. You try again but no sound comes out as his eyes glow an eerie green. You push against him and the strength drains from your limbs. His other hand comes up to frame your chin as you hang from his grasp. Your blink, terrified as your body refuses to obey your mind.
“It’s alright, pet,” he coaxes as he stands and shifts you to lay across the couch, “no one will hear us.”
You lay prone on the cushions as he looks you over, a hand on his hip as the other walks up the buttons of his shirt. He devours you with his gaze, a hum behind his teeth as his mouth slants.
“Parker always is too foolish for his own good, how could you be any different?” he taunts as his suit flickers and slowly fades away to nothing, revealing his brazen nudity.
Your eyes dart to the ceiling then down to your body as you feel a sudden chill. You’re just as naked as him and you whimper, a tickle in your throat, as you fight to make your arms bend across your chest. They only remain heavy like sand, paralysed entirely to his will.
Peter always said Loki was shady. That no one trusted him. How did that slip your mind?
He slides you up the couch and your head lolls. You close your eyes and gulp. Please, please, please, the desperate chant rings in your mind.
He grasps the back of the couch and rests his knee against the side of the couch. He snaps his fingers and your head turns up. He grips his length, stroking himself as he angles his tip down towards you. He traces your lips, leaving a sheen of saltiness across them. Your eyes glisten as his image blurs in your vision.
He pokes between your lips and slowly eases inside. The taste of him stains your tongue as he dips down to your throat and pulls back, a long groan in tandem with his motion. He slides in again and you gag.
Your eyes roll back as tears spill out the corner of your mouth, the wet noise of his deliberate intrusion surrounds you. You feel sick as he rocks down, deeper and deeper, tilting your head back as he forces past your reflex. He cradles your head as he pace grows eager, choking you as he pushes to his limit.
He pulls out completely and you puff breathlessly as he drips with your spit, stringing between his swollen head and your lips. He strokes himself again, groaning as he stands and moves along the edge of the couch.
He bends your leg and leans it against the back of the couch, draping your other over the side of the cushion, exposing you to him. He kneels between your open thigh and runs his nails along the tender flesh, sinking them in until your breath deepens. He snickers and runs his fingertips up the crease of your pelvis.
He feels along your vee and delves between your folds. You’re wet to your humiliation as he plays with you, circling your bud then flicking over it, over and over until you panting. You squeeze your eyes shut as the tears spill over and gather in the back of your throat.
“Do you think he would be surprised if he returned to this, pet? To you in your rightful place, serving as you should be?”
You want to shake your head, you want to scream, you want to tell him to stop, that he’s wrong. He spreads your cunt with his fingers as he bends over you and catches his tip between them. He exhales a castigating breath over you and hum. He moves his hips as he rubs himself against you cloyingly.
He pushes against your entrance, stretching you slowly. Your eyes snap open against your will as his bore down into you. He holds your gaze as the tension cords in his neck and slowly eases as he gets deeper. Your lashes flutter as pain burns in your walls as he strains you beyond your limit.
“I know by the very feel of you he does not use you quite enough, pet,” he trails his fingers along your hairline, “but be certain I will do so thoroughly.”
He buries himself to his hilt and stays there until the flood of tears rises in heaves. You sob as he rocks his hips deliberately, pulling back only to snap back in; over and over again, until you're shaking even beyond his control.
His pace quickens little by little, until your sweat skin peels away from the leather, your body jolts up the cushion by his force. He sits back, placing his hands on your shoulders as he pins you down, pounding into you without restraint.
“You are a delight,” he taunts, “the way you weep for me,” he moves a hand to your cheek, his thumb drawing the lines of your tears, “yes, I do enjoy how simply you fall apart beneath the will of a god.”
Suddenly, the weight lifts. You move uncertainty at first then bring your arms up to push against his chest. He squeezes your shoulders and fucks you harder, your hips coiled in agony. You grit your teeth as your whine and hit his chest, writhing as he hardly notices your pathetic resistance.
A laugh rolls up his throat and he sits back, gripping your thighs and pushes your legs up as he holds you down. A burning pang runs up the back of your legs as he forces your knees almost to your chest. He ruts into as deeply as he can, flesh slapping in a frantic rhythm as his voice rises around you.
“Oh, yes, pet,” he groans as his nails dig into your tender thighs, “yes, you are precious.”
He rams into you, twitching as he cums and empties into you, moving in long strokes as he rides out his ecstasy. He stops, still deep inside you, and wiggles his hips until you squirm. You wipe your face and try to hide from him. Humiliated and horrified.
“Perhaps this is what Thor meant when he said I should find something to stay for,” he purrs as inches out of you and thrusts back in, his cum dripping down around him, “or at least keep me distracted.”
Tumblr media
You slept in his arms but you woke up alone, he must have left the room in the middle of the night. You winced as you put the gym wear on, the marks on your torso hurt but you wanted to get out of this house and spend some Alone time with Loki. You finally noticed the texts he sent you at night after he came back and it made you smile, he cared so much and it felt amazing to be cared for like that. You responded to his text
Tumblr media
Once you were ready you knocked on his door, he opened the door and he was all suited up, his shirt was white today instead of black.
"Good morning" you smiled so he nodded as he walked alongside you.
"You don't have to come to my door everyday, you can just go downstairs and I'll escort you out safely" he told you stoically and your brows furrowed but you didn't think much of it.
As you both sat down inside the car and it started moving you turned to him and kissed on his cheek, you wanted to thank him for taking care of you last night.
"Don't do that miss" your eyes teared up as he said that. He seemed distant, he seemed different.
"What happened?" You asked him softly as you caressed his cheek, you didn't want to lose him too. If he was upset with you for something you did, you wanted to fix it as quickly as possible.
"Nothing happened..I just..I need some space, this thing between us is not good for both of us, you're going to get married and I have to hold onto this job, I have someone who is dependent on me and I need money. I can't lose everything all over again" he told you. Even though it killed him to say this to you, he knew it was for the best. He thought about it all night, and he can't watch you get hurt by Steve and then sit back to continue the relationship that he shared with you.
You made it clear that you didn't want him to fight for you and he can't live with the guilt of failing to protect you the way he did last night, he never should have gotten so close to you in the first place.
"Again?" You questioned him and he sighed
"It's none of your concern"
"Loki..if you need money I can.." before you could finish your words he cut you off,
"I don't need your money, I just want to earn my keep, I just want to do my job and get out of here when the time comes, that's it." he said to you so you nodded. You'd never lose me I promise. He said that last night, then what was this?
"Lokki I..am ..so confused..I don't understand" you placed your hand on his and he pulled away quickly.
"I'm sure you do" your eyes teared up and you gulped, it felt as if he was crushing your heart with his bare hands, you expected him to get closer to you after last night. But now you know why he was being that way, the secret that you shared with him must have changed his perception about you, he made those promises in the heat of the moment and then he must have thought it through all night. Or maybe he was scared of losing his job like he said, whatever the reason was you didn't want to burden him with your problems anymore.
"Okay..I'm sorry for everything, you don't have to feel responsible for me..I never wanted that" your voice choked as you spoke but you finished your sentence. He didn't know what he was expecting from you but your answer broke his heart too even though it was entirely his fault, he brought this on himself. Maybe he wanted you to fight with him so he'd get the courage to fight for you too.
"I am sorry too" he told you and you nodded. This was for the best, Steve knew about you two and he knew that Steve would use it at every opportunity to hurt you and when he does you'd take the abuse, you'd ask him to not get involved, you'd protect him, but he can't be the reason you would be beaten up like that.
Rest of the ride you both shared the uncomfortable silence, you just got your heart broken and all you wanted to do was go home and cry your heart out. You pressed the button to pull the partition aside, so you could speak with Adrian
"Please turn the car around, I'm not feeling well"
"Yes mam" you scooted away from him and placed your head down on the window. It took alot of strength for you to not cry in front of him.
He had hurt you badly, he could tell just by the look on your face, but he didn't think he was capable of continuing this anymore. He can't continue to pretend that you getting married in a few weeks won't bother him, he can't watch you get hurt and then not do anything about it.
When you reached the mansion you stepped out of the car, didn't even wait for him to follow you. It was so easy for him to get back to how he was with you, to forget about all the sweet moments you shared with him. Steve was right, you were naive to think that a man could ever care about you.
But if he didn't then why did he treat you the way he did? Why did he take care of you like that only to abandon you again?
You cried and cried until you couldn't cry anymore, the last time you felt this way was when Peter broke up with you and started dating Katlyn. You were in love with him or whatever love felt like at the time, and you definitely fell for Loki, he was everything you needed and wanted in your life but he left just like everyone else did. He never wanted you.
You didn't come out of your room all day, you didn't eat , it was easier to fall back on old habits than form a new one, with no push from loki you didn't even care again. You could take care of yourself, you should have but what was the point? Your life never held a meaning to begin with, you felt lively because of him in the past few weeks, but he had left you to fend for yourself. He didn't even want to be your friend anymore, maybe you never deserved it in the first place.
At night you got up, took the bag of snacks he got for you and stepped out of your room, you knocked on his door as you placed it down on the floor, then you turned around to leave before he could ask you about it. It didn't feel right to keep his gift, he bought it with his own money and you felt awful that he spent his hard earned money on you. He was just your bodyguard, not your friend or anything more.
Loki wasn't any better, it seemed like a good idea to create the distance, he knew it would hurt but he didn't know how bad it would be, you must hate him now, he had lost your trust, he was regretting every decision he had made since he came here, he should have just focused on his job, he never should have gotten so attached to you.
When he heard the knock on the door, he sighed, he thought about it for a minute before he got out of bed and opened the door only to find the bag of snacks he bought for you. His eyes teared up as he picked it up. Why did he hurt you like this? You trusted him.
How did he turn into all those people who hurt you before? Was he really that scared of losing his job? Or it was something else,
"Sameera..we are married, tell him, tell your father that you don't want to stay here, tell him that you were never happy here, tell him and I'm sure he will understand..just tell him" he looked at his wife of six months, he felt numb, he could feel himself losing blood after the beating he just got from her father's men, he eloped her all those months ago, he wanted to take her away from this awful life, he wanted to free her from the boundations she had. But how far they could have gone, he knew he couldn't have left the country, the cops were alerted, his face was everywhere in the city of Cairo.
"Darling please tell him that you love me, tell him that I love you..that we are happy.. together..sir please just listen to her, she'll tell you the truth" he cried as he fell down on his knees, he just needed her to stand up for him. He needed her to protect him this time.
"My daughter.. Falling for a lowlife bodyguard like you? Tell me then my dear daughter, is this man speaking the truth?" Her father chuckled and he looked at his wife, pleading with her silently, wanting to take her back to his home, their home. He knew she had a hard time standing up to her family, her culture didn't allow it, her upbringing made her feel scared but he still had faith in the love they shared .
"He's lying..he kidnapped me, he forced me to run away"
He lost consciousness as the words slipped out of her mouth, they beat him to pulp, then left him to die somewhere, he was lucky someone found him and brought him to the hospital, he was in a coma for a few weeks.
He woke up with a broken heart and he swore to himself that he'd never get himself involved in such a situation again then why did he get so close to you? Why did he fall in love with you?
He picked up the bag and stormed towards your room, he knocked twice and when you didn't open it, he twisted the knob. You sat up on the bed and looked at him, he placed the bag down on the bed and turned around to leave
"Please take it Loki"
"It's food, just keep it"
"I don't want to, you used your money to get that for me and I don't want you to waste your money on me, you're just my bodyguard, this is not part of your job, I don't want to throw it away so just take it" his eyes teared up at the callousness in your voice but he didn't blame you for that. He made you this way.
"I didn't want to hurt you y/n" he spoke as he wiped his tears,
"But you did, you broke me, I thought we were friends, but it's okay..it's okay because I should have known that no man could ever care for me..Steve was right. My dad is right, I don't deserve their care, or yours, I don't deserve any happiness" his heart was breaking into tiny little pieces as you blamed yourself for this. This is not what he wanted but then he should have known that's exactly how you would take it.
"Don't say that please don't say that ..that's not what I wanted"
"Just go loki.. I don't want to be the reason you lose your job or your life, you were right, this will be better for both of us..so just go okay? I'll be fine, I'm always fine at the end. I always get back up after hitting rock bottom so I will continue to stand up for as long as I can, because that's what she would have wanted for me"
He turned around to leave because he couldn't even listen to you anymore, he promised you that he'd never hurt you but he had hurt you the most. He knew you expected them to hurt you so it didn't bother you much but you never expected him to just give up on you like this.
He couldn't even sleep that night, it was hard for him to close his eyes and not see that hurtful look on your face. That's all he saw all night long..
Next morning Rocky, Suzzanah and Steve were going on a business trip to Chicago, for three days, it really came out of nowhere .
"Can I come too?" You asked your dad and he laughed.
"And what will you do there?" He asked you so you shrugged, you just wanted to get out of the mansion.
"You're going to stay here" Suzannah spoke and that didn't surprise you at all
"Loki are your bags packed?" She asked him and he nodded, your eyes widened as you realized that they were taking him along with them.
"Ummm who will protect me then?" As much as you didn't want to talk to him because he didn't want to talk to you, having him around you felt comforting.
"He will" Steve spoke as he walked in the living room with another man in a black suit,
"Erik Stevens, meet y/n, you have to shadow her from now on" Erik , your new bodyguard, gave you a nod as Steve introduced him but you didn't respond. Your eyes teared up as you realized they were taking him away from you. They were taking Loki away.
You looked at him and he had the same painful look in his eyes, why? He should be happier right? That's what he wanted.
It all started with him being appointed as your bodyguard but he wasn't even your bodyguard anymore.
He was nothing and you knew you were finally going to lose all of him.
36. another day, another cave.
Tumblr media
Bruce Banner's beach house is impressive!
Tumblr media
We sit down and Loki explains about the healing waters we found. Bruce takes a sample of the water I collected.
Tumblr media
"I'll run some tests. it could be a medical breakthrough. I'm sorry it wasn't enough t bring you back, Loki."
"It's not the first dead end on this journey," Loki shrugs.
Tumblr media
"There is one more possible option," Bruce admits. "There's a cave nearby, rumoured to be the home to a powerful artefact. It might be something?"
"It's worth a try," Loki says.
Tumblr media
Bruce takes the sample to his lab, and the rest of us head out to the cave.
Tumblr media
It seems like an ordinary cave, but I get an eerie feeling as we approach. Loki senses the same.
"You all better wait out here," he says.
"I am an Avenger, I know what I'm doing!" Peter protests.
"You've dealt a lot with powerful artefacts and dangerous curses?" loki asks archly.
Peter shakes his head.
"let the thousand year old powerful sorcerer deal with this, child," Loki chides him.
Tumblr media
"And you!" He looks at me. "Do not follow me this time! This place is dangerous, I need you out here where it's safe. I can not protect you while I'm in there."
"Be careful," I say.
"Whatever guards the artefact won't even know I'm there," Loki promises.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We watch as Loki enters, vanishing from sight as he does so.
"Yeah," so, half an hour and we're following him, right?" Nea asks.
"if he takes too long, I'll go," Peter promises. "leave the rescuing missions to the professionals please."
"I'm starting to feel like I'm becoming a professional at getting Loki out of trouble as it is," I mutter to Nea and Kitty.
Tumblr media
Luckily, it only takes a few minutes before Loki reappears.
"I can be stealthy if I have to," he grins.
"It's a rocket?" Nea asks.
"Fireworks," Kitty realises.
Tumblr media
Loki scries with his magic.
"I have no idea what it is or what it is supposed to do," he admits.
"Maybe we should take it..." before Nea can say "...to Doctor Strange," Loki casts another spell.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"LOKI!" Kitty yells at him.
"What? They are fireworks, I thought the best way to learn what they do is by lighting them!" Loki answers innocently.
Tumblr media
Luckily, Kitty is prepared for the occasion.
"Why do you carry a fire extinguisher with you?" Nea asks rather baffled.
"It seems like the safe thing to have when one is hanging out with you and Loki a lot," Kitty answers grimly.
Tumblr media
"Well, whatever it was supposed to do, it didn't," Loki shrugs.
"Why would you do that? Why?" Peter yells. "Who knows what could have happened?"
"You get used to Loki," I explain.
"yeah, he's pure chaos, but always fun," Nea grins.
Whatever the artefact was, it is now a pile of ash in the sand.
Realising there is no use in crying over burned artefacts, we make our way back to the beach, determined to make the most of it while we're here!
