Libra:

This native likes to be nurtured by being given nice material items and being included. Knowing that their people pour into the native just as the Libra Ceres native pours into their loved ones is a tremendous source of love and nurturance. 

It may be best if this native heals from loss by being surrounded by their loved ones. They may even use others as an escape of this loss, but they need a good support system during their time in the valley.

This native nurtures & loves on their loved ones through continual work towards achieving harmony and peace in their interpersonal relationships. Love hearing their loved ones out. Helping them out when needed. Loves to keep the balance in the dynamic. Yet this can quickly turn into people pleasing if they do not notice that their loved ones are supposed to do the same for them as well, so be careful of that.

This native loves to be apart of the community and helps the community progress forward. The native shows service to their community by being a force of balance and impartiality. There are no sides but the side that will advance the community as a whole. They appreciate it when their ideas are listened to.

This native as a parent may be conscious on how to connect with their children and make sure the dynamic between them and their children is fair and balanced, and will teach their children about diplomacy, negotiation, and fairness. But be sure that you are not giving the impression to your child that their needs are not as important (this includes you as well Libra Ceres) when teaching them these concepts.

This native may need a lot of nurture, but it can be hard to accept at times. This native needs depth when it comes to how they want to be loved and cared for. Again, it can be hard to accept sometimes for them since this kind of Ceres placement is tumultuous thanks to Pluto. But this placements appreciates someone who cares for them deeply and will stick their neck out for them. It's also in the little things you do for this native.

It is because this native loves and cares for others this way. There is no end to how far a Scorpio native will protect and love their people. This is definitely a loyal, fierce nurturance. The native may not always strike like Aries Ceres, but this native watches who hurts their loved ones and moves accordingly.

ceres into scorpio

somehow this got scheduled for the wrong date/time, ceres is already in scorpio! she will be there for a couple more months so i am posting this a bit late rather than just deleting it as it still applies~ scorpio's affinity with the underworld is against ceres's nature. but maybe she comes here to visit her daughter, the queen of the underworld. ceres requires further astrological study, but i suspect that this will feel, for many of us, like a winter of the soul. on the other hand, some people like winter! at any rate, deep care is called for. shallow going through the motions of self love will not suffice. truly treat your body well. if you cannot quite love it, at least be kind to it. you are kind to people you don't even like all the time anyway, most likely.

this may also be related to traumas with interpersonal relationships, more likely with parental figures than romantic partners. but as we all know, our formative years affect our future. see if you can do some plumbing on this old pain for the next few months. manure is fertilizer.

Friday, September 15 - Saturday, November 25, 2023

Caveat: this probably won’t be a big deal for you, personally, unless Ceres is prominent in your birth chart (closely in aspect to the Sun, the Moon, &/or an angle, perhaps a strong Virgo/6th House influence.)

According to astrologer Demetra George, Ceres has an affinity with Scorpio, or more specifically the Taurus-Scorpio polarity. Over the next couple of months, we’re working on issues of attachment and separation, death and dying, sharing, and renewal. It’s going to be important to transform inner megativity and lack of trust, to more loving and healing attitudes.

Procreative sexuality, parenting, children, family - Scorpio being the sign of sex, this transit potentially is a very, very fertile one. Some of us may conceive a child - we need to take every possible precaution, if we aren’t ready. We feel deeply and intensely toward our kids/parents.

Child care, other nurturing professions - more deep and intense feelings. We may have some doubts and suspicions about people working in these professions - we’ll want some thorough background checks. If you’re in these lines of work, you may feel a sense of recommitment - sort of, “This is why I do this job.”’

Agriculture, growing cycles, food - Scorpio (like all the water signs) is good for gardening. Bit late for that up here above the equator; you southern hemisphere peeps, go to town!

Friday, October 27 - Ceres/Scorpio sextile Venus/Virgo, 17°51’. Fertility. We can get along well with our parents and kids, doing little favors for them to show we love them.

Saturday, November 4 - Ceres/Scorpio conjunct Mercury/Scorpio, 21°05’; Ceres/Scorpio opposite Uranus Rx/Taurus, 21°25’. This is the “unpalatable decision” - we’re second- or third- guessing ourselves; we’re making stupid snap judgements and then stubbornly adhering to them; parents and children are arguing.

Monday, November 13 - Ceres/Scorpio trine Neptune Rx/Pisces, 25°01’. This is also the day of a New Moon. The Sun, Moon, Mars, and Ceres are all clustered together (with the Ceres conjunctions maturing in a week). If we’ve been too tempted to succumb to the Scorpio stinging, we can use this trine to elevate matters.

Monday, November 20 - Ceres/Scorpio conjunct Sun/Scorpio, 28°02’; Ceres/Scorpio sextile Pluto/Capricorn, 28°17’; Wednesday, November 22 - Ceres/Scorpio conjunct Mars/Scorpio, 29°09’. May be “just” manifestation of whatever was going on with us, at the New Moon on the 13th. It’s all very intense and potentially cathartic.
