Make a Move (Scotty x Reader)
Fluff.
After a month and a half of yearning yet shying away from her feelings, Scotty was going to make her move on you.
She was grateful that her Black Women from the Caribbean class ended a few minutes earlier. Not wanting to waste any time, she packed her things and filed out of the classroom.
You were on the floor above her and your class finished at the same time hers usually did: 3:50.
After easing up the staircase, Scotty settled by the window that was positioned at the far left of the hallway. In two minutes, you would walk out room 307.
Scotty used the time (and fresh cool air) to relax and remind herself of why she was doing this in the first place. However, none of that stopped her heart from racing. A glance at her phone revealed that it was 3:50.
Here I go, Scotty thought. Upon looking up, she noticed exchange student Shuri Udaku waiting by the door to 307. She shrugged it off until she noticed you go to Shuri. Big smiles were on your faces. Shuri even took your bag from you so she could hold it instead.
Scotty felt her heart breaking as you and the princess walked down the hall together. Since you were coming towards Scotty’s direction, the two of you locked eyes.
She quickly broke eye contact and reversed, hurrying down that same staircase. She didn’t stop walking until she reached her co-ed room that was in the other building.
“Did you run here?” Her roommate and friend Brendan asked, noting her shallow breaths upon her arrival.
Scotty shook her head and hung up her denim jacket.
“Okay…did you do it?”
Again, Scotty was silent. She tossed her book bag onto the small couch before sitting down and turning on the TV. The scowl on her features was a front for the sadness.
“I take it you did and it didn’t go well,” Brendan said.
“It didn’t.”
“She said no?” Brendan sat down beside her, visibly surprised.
Keeping her eyes on the TV she answered, “No. Some girl was already waiting for her.”
“Who was it?”
“Shuri.”
“The Wakandan?”
Scotty curtly nodded.
“Yikes,” he muttered, causing Scotty to look at him. He rubbed his jaw with his thumb. “It’s just, a lot of girls on campus have it bad for her.”
Scotty continued to sulk ahead. Were you one of those girls?
“Is she a player?” Brendan asked earning a careless shrug.
“I would’t know.”
“I can find out.” He smiled and opened his laptop on the coffee table and took out his phone. While he prepped to do some internet stalking, Scotty ordered food for them.
“Damn, her shit is carefully curated,” Brendan said earning a snort from his roommate. “I mean she is a princess, so I guess it makes sense.”
Scotty looked at her friend again. “I really don’t care to talk about her.”
He nodded in understanding. “All good, don’t worry about it. Wanna help me study until the food gets here?”
“Sure.”
She held up flash cards for him until there was a knock. Scotty checked her phone. “It doesn’t say the food is ready…”
Brendan glanced at her thoughtfully and went to answer the door. His eyebrows lifted at the sight of you. “Hello.”
“Hey,” You greeted with a friendly smile. “Is Scotty here?”
He gave a closed-mouth smile and stepped aside. “Come in.”
Scotty, who had overheard the exchange, was on her feet, as if she’d planned to leave the room.
“Hey Scotty, can we talk?” You breathed out optimistically.
“I’ll be in my room,” Brendan spoke, taking his leave.
You watched as Scotty glared after him. She sat back down. Catching the view of one of Shuri’s social media profiles on Brendan’s laptop, she quickly closed it.
You carefully approached and sat adjacent to her. “So how are you?”
She glanced at you, but mainly peered at the TV. “Okay.”
“I saw you earlier in the hall, but I don’t think you heard me.”
“Oh, probably not.”
“Scotty, are you mad at me?”
“No, why would you think that?” She furled an eyebrow at you.
“I don’t know, you’re just acting weird, not like my usual Scotty…”
“Like how?”
“You seem like you don’t want me here. I mean, I can go…but I’d rather know what I did and how to fix it.”
Scotty gazed at you in contemplation.
“Please tell me?”
There was something about you begging that encouraged Scotty. “I, um, wanted to ask you something today, but I saw you with another girl.” She played with her fingers.
“Who, Shuri?” She nodded slowly in the affirmative. “Aw, Scotty, that didn’t mean you couldn’t talk to me.”
“You looked busy.”
“I’m never too busy for you.”
Scotty blushed. This wasn’t the first time you had told her that and it never ceased to fill her with butterflies.
“What were you gonna ask me?” You asked with soft eyes. You watched as she looked at her lap.
“Um…it’s…well…”
She sighed in relief when there was a knock and “Uber eats” announcement at the door. “Sorry, that’s my food.” She stood a bit too eagerly.
You patiently waited. Scotty called out Brendan’s name to let him know the food was there. Once he grabbed his order and a can of grape soda, he was again out of sight.
“Would you like me to get you something?” Scotty offered you, making you inwardly swoon.
“No, it’s okay. I ate before I came.”
“Well, if you change your mind…”
You smiled. “Thank you, baby.” You delighted in Scotty blushing again and the small grin playing on her lips. “Yeah, so, I hope you know I’m not letting you off the hook…”
Scotty chuckled and it was nice to see and hear. She returned to her seat, placing her food on the coffee table. She toyed with the hem of her flannel shirt.  “I was going to ask you out.”
She closed her eyes, wishing to disappear because of the silence.
“Like on a date? Or…to be your girlfriend?”
“Both.” Scotty spared a look at you for your reaction. She found you staring at her deeply. Was that a good sign?
You touched her thigh and felt her tense. “Do you still want to ask me?”
There was a hint of a smile as she looked away. “It depends…are you seeing anyone?” She now looked stressed.
“No. Shuri is just a friend.”
Her eyes were on you again, unconvinced.
You shook your head and reached for her hand this time. “I promise we’re just friends, Scotty. She knows I’m already interested in someone.”
“W-Who are you interested in?”
“Take a wild guess.”
Scotty’s quizzical smile was adorable. Before she could speak, you pulled her into a soft kiss. You let your lips linger for a few more seconds before pulling away. “Enough said,” You whispered.
Am I dreaming? Scotty wondered. She grinned and so did you.
“Wow,” she said. It was so genuine you couldn’t help but laugh.
“So, now I’ll ask you. Do you want to go on a date with me?”
“Yes, a million times yes.”
You cheered. “Woot!”
“And then you’ll see if you wanna be my girlfriend?” Scotty asked hopefully.
You slung an arm around her, speaking lowly into her ear. “To be honest, I already like the sound of that, but let’s see how things go. I’m excited as hell to go on a date with you.”
Scotty beamed. “Me too.” She hesitantly put her hands towards your hips.
“It’s fine to do that.” You held her hands there.
“Aww, how cute,” Brendan said, startling the pair of you.

You recently reblogged a post about possible Pirates of the Caribbean and Jane Austen books crossover. Did you ever read this fic: https://archiveofourown.org/works/7838869 ?
Because it's literally about James Norrington coming back to London and meeting Elizabeth Bennett after Elizabeth Swann broke his heart.
I absolutely love this work. If you like the idea of a crossover between these two fandoms I'm sure you'll like it too.
This was cute! I do think James Norrington deserves a better ending. His only crime was... thinking piracy is wrong? Being the second male lead?
As a caveat, I don't think the author had a very good understanding of Regency culture and norms (Elizabeth would not be calling him by his first name), but it's a short and sweet story.

LightBringer Ch. 8 is up now, starting with Damien's POV! I'm so happy to reveal the third dimension of this character that the original authors somehow forgot to provide, even if it's not in a direction you expect. Enjoy!

The Muan-Atlantean War
And what exactly is Wold Newton?
Different sort of Gamera March post today, and a history lesson in digging through a bunch of websites I found probably 10-15 years ago that permanently influenced my take on kaiju films and how I write about them.
Readers of some of my own kaiju fandom stories (barely worth mentioning here considering the weight of what I’m about to talk about) may have noticed hints of a concept I’ve been recently building up to tackling, the origins of various Toho and Daiei kaiju and how they relate to two warring ancient civilizations, Toho’s Muans and Daiei’s Atlanteans. The story of how we got to this point begins in 1795 - yes, 1795. Really.
The Wold Newton family concept, per Wikipedia, is effectively a study of fictional universes, with the aim to figure out which of those universes might actually be the same universe after all. This exists largely outside of official crossovers, although those are often considered as evidence. The premise is basically “if it fits, it’s canon, and if it doesn’t fit, some version of it might still be canon.” AKA the absolute bane of a certain no-fun-allowed type of kaiju fan that I probably annoyed the hell out of in my younger days and remain damn proud of it. (/hj)
The concept dates back to a real meteorite that fell in the town of Wold Newton, Yorkshire in 1795, and Phillip José Farmer, a later American writer who proposed the hypothesis that many improbably strong or intelligent fictional heroes and villains are in fact descendants of two families irradiated by said meteorite. It’s since evolved to be more centered on the universe-connecting I’ve described above, but the idea of the two families seems to still be mentioned on occasion.
(Important note: Wold Newton historians thematically phrase their findings in a way that describes fictional events/characters as if they were part of a real history and dismiss contradictions between the included stories as ‘errors.’ This is not a slight against established canon or willful misinterpretation of official material, but a device meant to imply the official material is an erroneous or exaggerated retelling of the ‘true’ events as present in the Wold Newton Universe)
Which brings us to the first leg on the journey to how this is at all relevant to Gamera, the article Prehistoric Survivors in the Pacific by Mark Brown. This an oft-cited article by later kaiju writers, seeming to be the first ever suggestion that the people of Mu are responsible for the prehistoric creatures encountered by modern explorers in various fictional island adventure stories. I’ll note here that this article actually has nothing to do with Toho’s Muans, or the film Atragon, or any other kaiju films for that matter. It instead concerns other fictional depictions of the real-world hypothesis of the continent of Mu/Lemuria (proposed to explain similar lemur fossils appearing on continents separated by water and since discredited with the discovery of plate tectonics).
Among those writers that expanded on Mark Brown’s concept and adapted it to kaiju films, I specifically bring up Den Valdron and Chris N., who have done much of the most creative and scientific writing on Godzilla, Gamera, and their ilk that I have ever encountered - everything from hypothesizing what Gorath really is in true astronomical terms to a personal favorite wild theory that connects every giant spider that’s appeared in every film ever.
In constructing a kaiju universe to tell stories in, these following articles in particular are those I remembered best and find most relevant to revisit (note that all these links are to an old Angelfire site, The Godzilla Saga, and were written decades ago by Godzilla fans from decades ago, so may contain terms or phrasing that didn’t quite age well. Also note that the timeline is very, very long and may require several full days’ worth of reading to get through, if one feels inclined to make the attempt. The first article sums up the main concepts in a more digestible format, however):
THE ALIENS OF THE SHOWA TOHO UNIVERSE: COMMON ORIGINS? by Den Valdron, edits and supplements by Chris N.
GODZILLA SHOWA SERIES TIMELINE by Chris N.
To summarize, most if not all of the science fiction aspects of the Toho universe are ultimately derived from the ancient Muans - the kaiju are genetically-engineered bioweapons bred for war, the alien races are the descendants of Muan space explorers, the advanced level of modern human technology (Maser tanks, moon base in 1999, etc.) is a result of studying technology left over from the Mysterian invasion in 1957.
Likewise, one can assume similar, Atlantean-related origins for the Daiei science fiction elements (although I personally posit that the aliens seen in Showa Gamera are not actually living Atlanteans, more on that in my upcoming Gamera vs. Guiron review).
That said, these timelines for the most part do not seem to endorse putting the Toho and Daiei films and elements in the same universe. Each one only requires that the other ancient civilization exist as a rival to justify the creation of kaiju, not that that other civilization also created kaiju or that any of them survived to the present day. They also most certainly do not endorse my personal attempts to create a timeline not only involving Showa Toho and Showa Daiei, but one that includes the rest of the Godzilla and Gamera films including all five Godzilla Millennium series timelines (GMK and Final Wars need to be heavily modified), GODZILLA(1998) and its animated series, and perhaps most significantly, the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy, whose elements give some insight to events of Earth’s distant past before the Muans and Atlanteans.
But my most obvious Wold-Newtonian element may actually be the recent inclusion of a version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in this universe - because the operative question isn’t “Why would they be there?” it’s “Why wouldn’t they be there?” There are actually quite a few stories and characters where I’ve hinted at there being at least some version of them in this universe (with the caveat that they don’t include any obvious complicating elements like superheroes or aliens or the world ending, etc.). However, and I feel this is important, when writing a story I’m careful to make sure the non-kaiju-related references have no more relevance than background details, unless the story I’m writing is tagged specifically as a crossover.
I’m not going to go over every single aspect of this timeline attempt, because that would be way too long and some of them are spoilers, but since this is Gamera March, I’ll end with my version of just the Gamera elements of this timeline (save for the aliens, which I’ll get to later, and Irys, whose origins I haven’t completely settled on yet. Also note that I include characters and elements from The Last Hope in my world-building but not the exact details of the legend). I use this timeline in the stories that are set in my main kaiju universe (only two definitively so far), but you can bet I’m probably still thinking about at least some of its elements, even in one-off stories and AUs that don’t directly follow these events.
12,000 years ago: In response to the Muans developing creatures that absorb atomic power (or similar energy) to grow larger and stronger, the Atlanteans switch from their arsenal of such weapons to one that includes a genetics program. The earliest kaiju created include Gyaos, Barugon, Jiger, and possibly Zedus, but when they (most significantly Gyaos) go rogue, the Atlanteans create Gamera to stop them - emboldened by the discovery of Universal Energy/Mana and their acquirement of Elias metals to use in the Magatama amulets to channel it (the same technology as the seal used on Desghidorah). Their efforts are ultimately futile, and Atlantis is destroyed.
12,000-10,000 years ago: Toward the start of the intervening millennia, a group of Atlantean survivors establishes an underground city near what would become New York. The purpose taken on by this city and its inhabitants is to allow Gamera to protect future civilizations from the Gyaos horde. During this time, Gamera’s reincarnation cycle is developed, including a number of eggs that would be distributed across the Earth and used as beacons to re-absorb and house Gamera’s Mana upon death. (The Atlantean survivors would also establish an observation outpost nearer to the surface, which would millennia later become home to four mutant turtles. At least one Atlantean inhabited the underground city up until that time, however, his intentions were ultimately malicious and an encounter with the mutant turtles left him imprisoned in stasis, where he could do no further harm).
10,000 years ago: The continent of Mu is destroyed by Battra after an attempt to gain control over the Earth with a weather machine. With humans now nearly extinct, the adult Gyaos turn on each other and the rest die of starvation. Gyaos eggs laid across the world during this time fail to hatch due to the recovering environment and associated increase in Mana, and would remain dormant until ecological destruction and the decline of Mana reaches another peak with modern humans.
3,000-1,500 years ago: It is unknown how many incarnations Gamera took on over the next many thousands of years, but by Magatama being discovered in association with Japanese cultures from these periods of its history, we can infer he had at least one, possibly many encounters with humanity in this stretch of time. It is unknown for what purpose he emerged or what other monsters he may have faced.
1965: Gamera, in either a new body hatched from an egg in the arctic or one that was imprisoned there at some point prior, is freed by an accidental nuclear explosion and (for reasons I will theorize in my review of the original Gamera) initially chooses to wage war on humanity. He would go on to later battle other monsters either directly or indirectly created by Atlantis (more on that upcoming in my Guiron review), including a reawakened Barugon (unconfirmed if Barugon follows a similar reincarnation cycle or if the cave contains a finite number of eggs) and the first new Gyaos of many to revive during this era.
1971: the events of Gamera vs. Zigra take place (the 1985 date appears to be an addition of Sandy Frank, who commissioned the dub in 1985, and if Super Monster is included in this timeline, it appears to necessitate these events taking place before 1980).
1973: Showa Gamera is Avant Gamera, and dies sacrificing himself against a larger swarm of Gyaos that awakens six years after the first.
1980: If Super Monster is included on this timeline (and at this point I’m leaning toward yes), then another incarnation of Gamera appears when, newly hatched, he somehow winds up placed in a pet store terrarium with other turtles. This Gamera would grow to full size over several days and sacrifice himself again to stop the Zanon spaceship.
1995: After hatching inside the atoll and growing large enough to lift it to the surface, Gamera engages another group of Gyaos, then later fights Legion and Irys (for now, I’m leaving Legion as a genuine interstellar lifeform, with no connection to the inhabitants of ancient Earth).
1999: Gamera succumbs to his wounds and dies, after his triumphant defeat of a much larger swarm of Gyaos (with the help of Godzilla Junior and the other broken-loose inhabitants of Monster Island, along with several rogue or territorial kaiju active at that time including Titanosaurus and King Cobra, in an event that becomes known as the Gyaos War).
2006: Gamera reawakens from another egg, and while only partially grown, manages to defeat Zedus. Which brings us to where our story (or one of them) begins...

What if clockwork had HUGE beef with the flash family? They slow down time or travel back and forward in time and it just ruins all his hard work. At the beginning, it was ok but after five years? No, just no. Now the justice league has to summon Danny to make political connections, but after the summoning Danny is just gon smacked and asked flash to sign something, when asked why Danny just says "you and your entire family pissed off the controller of time and timelines. He isn't allowed to because ghost writer won't allow him, so he has been planning your lives after you die, he has a HUGE grudge with you guys, you're like celebrities". And flash? He has a new love for being alive and absolute terror for when he dies

One-Esk and Murderbot meet in the waiting lobby for Robo-Therapy
(…specifically rage counseling )
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Probably two of my favorite robot/ai/construct protagonists in literature! Though I have a lot. (What’s up Culture shipminds…)
Creation notes:
A pattern I’ve been noticing is that a lot of these robots are very traumatized, very angry, and don’t like talking about their feelings. I was gonna originally make this short comic about One-Esk (aka Breq) and Murderbot on the first day of group therapy for rage counseling and it would just be a bunch of shots of them sitting in silence cuz neither of them like talking about their feelings but, uh…. the shots were just a lot and the series of events wasn’t really flowing right so I scrapped that idea in favor of not having to draw a zillion backgrounds. Still wound up taking a stupidly long time to create a product that feels… underwhelming. I really like how Breq turned out but I just couldn’t get the hair or costume design on MB to really fit the corpo-futuristic spacer asthetic I was going for, while still capturing that social-anxiety-comfort-hoodie energy. (Was originally contemplating having a shot of MB pulling hoodie strings closed over their face in one shot but wound up scrapping that idea as well.) Cannonicallly, MB should probably be in all dark blues and blacks, but the colors just weren’t working so I went with yellow instead. Idk. Maybe it’s a loaner hoodie from one of MB’s humans.
Here’s a shot I never wound up using:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyways! I hope this made you smile if you like one or both of these series! 😊
Post script: if you like Martha Wells Murderbot Diaries, you should definitely check out Ann Leckie’s Ancillary Justice trilogy, or vice versa. More angry traumatized non-binary human-ai constructs for all! Mega-latestage-capitolist dystopia, or xenophobic -imperialist-socialist empire? Sentient space ships? C’mon. Just read both series u know you’ll love it.

Decided to make a Life on Mars/Doctor Who crossover comic, about Sam being the Master, that no one asked for and is about 15 years too late 😂
Chapter 1 is almost done, I’ll hopefully have it posted here and on AO3 in the next week. Thinking of naming it “Sam Tyler Doesn’t Exist.” First chapter will stand alone, but I’ve written a script for a second chapter already. Mostly ignores Ashes to Ashes, and anything after series 4 of Doctor Who.
Gosh!

FANART FOR @ectoplasmranch's FIC HERE
(read from right to left!!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ALSO INSPIRED BY @tha-za's ART HERE
{FIC EXTRACT:
“Humans get cold,” Tucker said, his voice hollow, “You always seem to forget that bit, you know.”
Whatever had possessed him to say the words, whatever had taken hold of Tucker and allowed the accusation to slip out, he regretted not fighting it the moment the face of the creature in front of him slipped.
The mischievous smile, the childish glee- in seconds it all evaporated. And left behind was a shell that only resembled the boy Tucker had called a friend.
“What?” It asked, and its voice felt wrong in a way Tucker couldn’t pin down. It spoke in an uneasy cadence: “I’m human. You know that, don’t you, Tucker?”
Tucker couldn’t speak. He tried, but when his lips parted, nothing came out. Something felt like it was clawing its way up his esophagus. Sweat broke out on his neck. The expression on its face burrowed into his chest and expanded.
It took a step towards him and it wasn’t until it opened its mouth that Tucker realized he’d incorrectly clocked the movement as a threat, when in reality it was an act of desperation.
“I said, don’t you, Tucker?” It asked, its eyes feeling far too dead and far too flat for the tone of voice it had. It moved like an animal going to nip at a plate of food left on the ground, like it would back away and consume and then leave forever as quickly as it had come. }

[Dialogue in comic reads:
1st Panel –
TUCKER: ... Humans get cold. You always seem to forget that bit, you know?
2nd Panel –
DANNY: What? I'm human. You know that, don't you, Tucker?

Potential Contestants for the Inter-Dimensional Bake-Off
My inter-dimensional bake-off prompt has got a lot of attention so here is a rough draft list of people I thought might be good (or funny) choices as potential contestants for the bake-off:
Alfred Pennyworth (DC Comics)
Lunch Lady (Danny Phantom)
Mr + Mrs Cake (My Little Pony)
Gary Prince (Fiona and Cake/Adventure Time)
Dylan B. Hollis (real life-YouTube/TikTok)
Brock and/or Cilan and/or Mallow (Pokémon anime)
Molly Weasley (Harry Potter)
Ice Bear (We Bare Bears)
Tom and Sabine Dupain-Cheng (Miraculous Ladybug)
Sanji (One Piece)
Brie Malik and/or Heath Nguyen (Gormet Hound webcomic)
Tiana (The Princess and the Frog)
Peeta Mellark (The Hunger Games)
This is in no way a final list. I also don’t know how many people I would or would not be including if I wrote this, but they are all of the people I have been able to think of so far that are good at baking. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Excerpt from a fic I’m thinking about writing. Danny is the god of space, Clockwork is the god of time, with Danny being his biological son. Danny can see through time, but it’s limited, so Clockwork still sends him out to fix time
———-
“Barry Allen.”
Barry turned, completely unprepared for the being that stood in front of him. Brilliant white hair that moved without a breeze, light blue skin with the smattering of freckles across his face, vivid, neon green eyes, sharp, pointed ears, and brilliant white teeth that had fangs. The being wore royal blue robes that covered from his neck to his feet, and were free of any logo. On the beings shoulders sat a cape of a vivid black, darker than any fabric Barry had ever seen before. On the inside of the cape were stars and galaxies, along with planets that moved around the cape. Barry didn’t know if the cape was a projection of the galaxy or if it was it’s own seperate galaxy housed inside a cape.
“You have messed with the fabric of time.” The being continued.
The man was around Barry’s age, perhaps early to mid twenties. He stood several inches taller than Barry, who stood at 6”1.
“I—“ He found his mouth as dry as cotton. The being, whoever he was, radiated power unlike anything Barry had ever seen before in his life.
Barry was terrified.
“I’m sorry.” Barry said lamely.
The being tilted his head just slightly, looking at Barry as if he were an animal. “Everything is as it should be, Barry Allen,” The being continued, “However, the fabric of time will become unraveled if we do not correct your anomaly before it solidifies.”
Barry had no idea what the fuck that meant. The confusion must have shown on his face, as the being continued to speak.
“Time is like a river,” the being said, “if you throw a pebble in the stream it will change the surface of the water until the ripples dissipate. We are riding the current, but the ripples through time are becoming more unstable.”
“How do we fix it?” Barry asked.
“Simple. I reset the timeline to the original course.”
Barry frowned. “My mother would go back to being dead though, wouldn’t she?”
“Yes.”
Barry’s eyes narrowed. He knew he didn’t have his metahuman abilities and would likely be killed by this alien if he challenged the man, but he did it anyways. “No.”
Much to Barry’s surprise, the being smiled. “I knew you were going to say that.”
It seemed as if the being was messing with him now. Barry didn’t know what to think of that.
“I don’t want to lose my mom.” Barry said, sadness creeping into his voice.
“Your life has been altered by another being who should not be altering the time stream.” The being responded.
Wait, what?
“I will spare your mother if you assist me in catching this man.”
“Yes!” He agreed immediately. “I’ll do whatever it takes. Just save my mom.”
“Be careful what you wish for, Barry Allen.” The being warned. The being turned to leave, but was stopped by Barry.
“Wait. How do I contact you? And what do I call you?” Barry asked.
“I will contact you when the timeline resets.” The being said, pulling a medallion in the shape of a gear out of thin air and handing it to Barry. “Call me Phantom.”
“What’s this for?” Barry questioned.
“Place it around your moms neck. It will save her from being wrote out of existence.” Phantom replied, then dissappeared into a bright beam of light.

Eclipse of the Valley Chapter 1:
The Eclipse
You are in desperate need of a change of pace, an out of the mentally draining life you found yourself in. With the combined inspiration of a total solar eclipse and letter you probably waited too long to have opened, you find yourself moving to the tiny community of Pelican Town nestled in Stardew Valley.
But what happens when there's more magic to this town than you thought, and you realize that you weren't the only one to move into the farm? With nowhere else for your surprise, animatronic roommate to go, it seems like he'll be staying with you for the foreseeable future and he isn't as alone as he first appears. Hopefully, you'll be able to come to terms with your new roommates and maybe if you play your cards right you might just get them to open up to you.
———
(Please ignore how bad the pixel art is it was my first time ever trying it)
