Sometimes I wish that when Elain will actually be more interested in Lucien, it will be because of jealousy. Maybe in her book she has to visit the Mortal Lands and she'll see how friendly Lucien and Vassa are, laughing and having inside jokes that make her feel like an outsider.

New sorts of thoughts will go through her head, from "He's free to do whatever he wants!" and "Who he likes it's none of my concern." to mere curiosity, studying the Mortal Queen, then she keeps wondering what he might see in her, asking herself why she even cares and why she feels so distressed of the simple thought of Lucien and another woman together. She may even be a little possessive about it, revealing a new side of her, more territorial.

And perhaps Jurian will notice and tease her about it, while poor Elain is in denial.

And what if Vassa is doing it on purpose? Maybe her and Jurian plot in Lucien's favour, hoping that jealousy might be the strongest motivator for Elain in order to actually give the male a chance.

It's really blow my mind that there are people delusional enough to truly belive that killing Quentin Coldwater was a) a good ending for character b) good for plot c) wasn't suicide and that the fifth season of The Magicians was good.

Like, I'm sorry but you're delusional. I get it you love this show, but sometimes showrunners do dumb thing and you have to acknowledge it.

Killing you main mentally ill queer character in suicidal manner with massage "this is his happy ending, killing himself was best thing he did", when his whole plot was about fighting his mental illness and trying to find place in this world is dumb and borderline disrespectful.

And then in last season you leave your other main mentally ill queer character completely alone, but gave him shitty-side-character-with-three-minutes-of-screen-time as some kind of out of blue consolation prize love interest. While you spend whole final season not allow him to grief his lost, basically not allowing him to have same feelings as straight ex of his dead love interest.

And don't get me even started with complite dumpster fire of rest of the characters.

Don't try to convince me this is good ending for this story, don't try to tell this is what this characters or fans deserve.
