JJ lays next to you on the bed while placing the blanket over you both. “Babe you can talk to me. I just want you to feel safe.” You only nod. “Rafe always got mad when I didn’t want to do something. I-I t-thought you would be mad too.” you whisper. JJ uses his fingers to tilt your head so you're looking him in the eye. “What Rafe did to you was awful. But I love you and I need you to tell me when you're not comfortable with something. I won’t be mad. It’s okay to not be comfortable, it’s my job to make you feel comfortable, safe and loved. Okay?” he asks. You nod “Words baby.” he whispers “Yes” you answer. He nods and pulls you close, running one hand through your hair, the other rubbing your back.
