Tbh I'm impressed how I have the energy to sketch all three designs, so either it's a sign I'm gonna burn out soon or what 💀

Anyways the kids.

Kenji: Fucking whore. Jk. Kinda. Big momma's boy, kinda had beef with Chazz for a little while when Kore and Chazz were separated for two years during his childhood years, but he speaks to Chazz more often now and has a better relationship with him. Literally is the embodiment of a gifted and intelligent student now is a severely burnt out and tired moody bitch. Has more fucking break ups because he literally doesn't fucking understand relationships well and has a lot of inner problems with himself. Eventually gets better, working on himself. Massive bipolar disorder. Is an asshole because...literally he is one, not because of his bipolar. Very confrontational and argumentative when he is being accused for shit he has never done. Can't see Duel spirits, but can hear them?? Assumed he was just hearing things. Also a big lover of dueling. Very competitive but can be hella petty if he loses. Hates the smell of hospitals and medial equipment, it makes him physically ill and very anxious (lore related lmao).

Himari: Resting bitch face 24/7, is genuinely very sweet and shy. Is she glaring at you from across the room in a terrifying manner?? Oh don't worry she's squinting her eyes trying to read the board behind you. Very passive, rarely loses her temper. Has the fucking literal patience of a Saint. Unless you catch her on a bad day and you set her off, don't be surprised if you find yourself smacked through the wall. Works out a lot, mainly to distract herself or pass time originally. Plus used to have trouble with carrying heavy shit due to her previous weak and frail physique, so wanted to be able to carry shit better (cough also to impress this crush she has on a girl cough). Loves to dress feminine and girly, tries to style her outfits a lot. Literal daddy's girl, yet gets embarrassed and shy when Chazz is kicking off with some kids or parents who might be mean or accusing Himari, and she has to physically remove him before she dies of embarrassment. Literally loves her dad but at times think he might go overboard, hence why she talks to her mom about certain issues and probably dating advice (don't even fucking say anything you seen that episode with Chazz tryna Duel Alexis to be his girlfriend, you should know why). Let's her emotions out when it comes to dueling, especially with how frustrated she gets or angry. Literally considered her Duel monsters her friends during her childhood due to lack of friends, only to look back and cringe. Doesn't realise her Duel spirits watch over her a lot and try to protect her.

Ekou: Accidental child. Literally was not fucking planned, he came as a fucking surprise. Yet was the most chill and easiest of the three to raise. Kinda. Despite how he was always found in odd places he shouldn't have been in. Definition of...that one weird kid in class you don't talk to but he is surprisingly chill af. Comes out with the most horrific and outlandish shit at times that everyone fucking turns and side eyes massively. Also, comes out with useless trivia about probably classic horror movie or slasher movies, adds nothing to the conversation. He just enjoys the cheesy block buster campy slashers and horror movies, no matter how dumb or ridiculous they are, he gets a laugh out of it. Also, attracts a lot of the evil and bad shit a lot. Like Jaden 2.0, yet no fucking idea why. Ekou tends to find himself in what seems to be friendly little duels only for it to be duels where he nearly dies (specifically these happen during his mid to late teens). At this point he's not phased anymore he's more so expecting it and is like "so what is it today, three monkeys trying to disguise as a man while standing on one another or some giant bulking cloaked mysterious man who threatens my friends and loved ones?" He just at this point tries walking away to avoid it yet his ass gets dragged in. Surprisingly fucking smart, he just can't be bothered to do the homework he gets given. Definitely collects magical girl figures. Mainly cause he finds them cute and adorable. Also owns a pet fucking fat tailed gecko he absolutely cherishes and adores. Takes care of it a lot, legit carries it everywhere with him, she just chills on his shoulder, in his jacket or on his head. However, like his dad, he can actually see Duel spirits. It kinda just happened one day when he was like five and he got startled when his duel monster was chilling next to him in bed. Actually treats his duel monsters well, talks to them a lot which...alarms people assuming he is just talking to himself. Also wears snazzy fucking sunglasses cause why not.

7. Does your character enjoy nature? VERY much!!!! l'aiha has pretty sensitive hearing due to the miqo'te genes, so big cities and industrial sounds can get a little fatiguing to listen to! her earliest (post-amnesia incident) memories were with a seeker clan, and she really enjoyed the opportunities to hunt and forage and just be out in the wilderness. there's something freeing to her about it! like she doesn't have to play a role.

she's also a decent botanist, and has a great fondness for keeping greenery in all her spaces, both literally (potted plants and such) and aesthetically (details on decor, for example). (on top of all of that, her magic has always had a 'floral' presentation to it; to this day most of her spells resemble plants or flowers!)

8. Is your character suspicious of new people? YES. LMAO. she's shy and usually pretty slow to trust, so even though she's polite and kind to nearly everyone she first meets (you'd have to give her a really big reason for her not to), her trust and comfortableness with new people is very surface-level. she's not inclined to talk about herself at all, protecting even basic or benign information about her from strangers and acquaintances unless she can ascertain a logical reason it should be said.

honestly, it takes a lot of time and consistency to earn her trust, even though you'll feel like you have it much sooner because she's nice to you, laughs with you, protects you in combat... but there is a shift when she does actually trust you. a willingness to be vulnerable, to discuss her fears and ambitions, to tell you about important moments in her life both good AND bad... it's not unusual for people to just kinda realize one day, oh, whatever i had before wasn't her trust, because THIS is it right now.

9. How well does your character treat animals? l'aiha is very fond of animals! and treats them kindly and humanely. she's not shy about hunting them for food or resources as needed, but she doesn't needlessly extend any suffering. you'll catch her whispering reassurances to an animal she's failed to swiftly, painlessly kill, as she's trying to catch it and end the suffering.

and as for animals she DOESN'T hunt, she LOVES them. they're very interesting and cute to her, even weirder stuff like insects, amphibians, etc. she's shy and a little reclusive herself, so she's not one to fawn all over an animal unless it jumps on her first; she tends to return the same level of affection as the animal is comfortable giving.

and, of course, there's her (secret) collection of stuffed animals and plushies. a collection she is ENTIRELY too embarrassed about 99% of people knowing, so there's a good chance you won't know it exists at all, but. she REALLY likes plushies, and they're a good place to get out any excess "i REALLY want to squeeze an animal" energy without crossing an actual creature's boundaries LMAO.

Is your character religious? i would describe it as casually so, yes! post-amnesia accident she came to worship azeyma alongside the seeker clan she was living with, and she's adopted several traditions regarding seeker of the sun faith in azeyma. she also believes it was azeyma, or at least some divine force, that first saved her after she woke up with no memories; lost in the wilderness of gyr abania, she followed the rising sun eastwards, and this is how she wandered into the seeker territory!

she associates warm weather and broad daylight with safety and guidance, so much so that, unconsciously, her discomfort in cold or dark places is more than just for lack of her biological tolerances for it. these places feel uniquely ABSENT of the very power that saved her life, and so they make her a little fearful.

she also, of course, becomes very devout to hydaelyn, and honestly believes hydaelyn and azeyma are one in the same for a very long time (until a certain raid series), or perhaps that azeyma is a manifestation of hydaelyn in some form. the closest comparison i can think of is how some catholics believe in both god himself and the saints; hydaelyn, to l'aiha, is like the almighty core of divinity; she is authoritative and someone l'aiha wishes to honor and impress. azeyma, like a saint, is a little less daunting though; l'aiha is more comfortable in her weaknesses and asking for guidance from azeyma. she feels reachable in a way hydaelyn doesn't; like azeyma is closer, and to that end, more personable. she doesn't intimidate l'aiha with her sheer divinity the same way.

even though l'aiha thinks they're the same power for a long time, she speaks differently about the two. hydaelyn is, again, authoritative, a powerful force she aims to honor; l'aiha speaks of her LIKE a god, distant, better, deserving of her utmost respect. on the other hand, she speaks of azeyma like... a mother, or a guardian. someone older, wiser, stronger, but nevertheless kind and sympathetic to l'aiha's mortality, willing to bear the burden of her insecurities and feeling safe enough to do so with.

l'aiha isn't too religious in a 'formal' sense though—you won't really see her attending congregations, carrying books or even much discussing her faith with others. it's a very personal thing between herself and these entities, and while she'll talk about it with those receptive, usually THEY have to indicate they're interested first. she's almost protective of that faith! she doesn't want it to be questioned or criticized. she understands the 'logical errors' people see, but it brings her immense comfort, and so she isn't interested in debating the legitimacy of those beliefs.

(and still are!!)

rp pet peeves : when people don’t give me anything to work off of. rp is a two way street, and while i know not every reply has to be a novel or move the characters in a certain way every time, if i’m left carrying the scene on my own it dries up my interest very quickly. also, not fully rp related but over complicated blog themes. i love themes! coding is absolute wizardry to me and people who can make and/or edit stuff beautifully are magic! but if i have to highlight the page to try and see where links are or have to copy/paste text onto a text document due to eye straining colors? nah dog. i’m outtie.

plots or memes : i ADORE plotting! not every detail has to be hashed out but getting a feel for the direction for the rp or if there’s some sort of idea you’d like to talk about and experiment through writing? 1)What’s something that puts them to sleep without fail?

I already did Leo so I'm skipping him.

Imani: Something warm to drink, like hot cocoa! Bonus if there's marshmallows! Yes, it's sweet, but it makes her body warm enough to fall back asleep. Oh! And her plushies :3

Flynn: Usually a good book! Helps her clear her mind after a long day. Either that, or a night of binging horror movies XD

Blair: Blair is also the last to sleep, or not sleep at all. Xe take xyr job as a bodyguard seriously,which sadly means xe don't allow xemselves to sleep much. When xe do sleep, xe just do. However, if that sleepover bit I did means anything, it's that Blair, once xe feel comfortable around people, likes having xyr hair played with. It's a new revelation to xem, but it lulls them to sleep easily.

Asra: Asra seems like the type to have lava lambs. The colors and moving lava helps them fall asleep. But they are perfectly fine without it. Though, above all else, having their parasol by their side makes them feel safe and secure.

Cande: Cande is new, so I'm not 100% sure, but I think a heart meal before bed helps!

Imani: BOTH!!! BOTH ARE ALWAYS GOOD!!! Both platonically or romantically, but we all know Imani. She's mostly thinking her hugs and hand holding are platonic. Sadly, some people don't view it that way and thus the "harem" is born. Not gonna stop her though. She loves hugs and holding hands <3

Flynn: Flynn is a shy nervous wreck sometimes, so hand holding and hugs takes a lot. Her time with Imani has made her more used to hugs, though that's probably because it's Imani and she doesn't mind Imani's display of physical affection. Also, the fact that Flynn is one of the shortest, I feel like she's just gonna get squished XD

Arrow: Hugs are eh unless it's super personal. Hand holding is more their thing, so much so that they'll just do it casually without thinking. Que Damien getting flustered by the sudden display of (platonic) affection while Alexandra is pleasantly surprised. Neither let's go, btw. I think Arrow reserves platonic cuddles for those who they consider family ( so Imani and Flynn, and the rest of the sashilla village gang). If we're talking romantically, hand holding is still superior, but cuddles are a lot more often. Even more so, Arrow is usually the one doing the cuddling <3

Leo: Do you want this man to be a flustered mess? I think you do lol. Leo isn't used to either unless they're from his sister. So cuddling or holding hands makes him nervous. This is when it becomes obvious that this poor man is tough starved and is too embarrassed to say anything about it. Cause trust me, once you give it to him, he wants more. He will melt. So yeah. Basically a flustered mess, especially if it's romantic.

Blair: Another touched starved person who won't admit it lol. They definitely realized this when Suraya gave xem a hug to comfort xem ( Suraya gives good hugs y'all) and when Leo played with xyr hair. Blair is much more....reserved than Leo, though. Xe don't want big displays of affection. Xe honestly prefer to keep it small, so hand holding is probably better for xem. That being said, hugs and cuddles aren't completely off the table, just very rare ( cherish it if xe ever ask you for one)

Asra: Both are fine. They prefer being carried lmao. If they had to choose one, however, it would be cuddles. Asra is very small and should be held. This is fact. No. This is LAW.

Cande: Literally whatever works bro. Opposite of Asra: Tall with big string arms meant for cuddling. You can see why Asra likes her so much.

Jan 5th

Well looks like I forgot to write the second part for yesterday but oh well we move on and don't think about it.

I think today was a better day overall than the past few days in all honesty. I mean it was still a mixed bag kind of day but the good really carried me through the day to be honest.

To start, I've been really sleep deprived lately and today was no exception. I slept somewhere between 6-7 but I forgot about ember's appt so I had to get up at 9 to take him. Feel like that was my own fault among my other issues with sleep and my avoidance of it. But yeah very off state as usual and while I wasn't grumpy I felt a bit sensitive and just overall dread this morning.

I already feel embarrassed writing this next part cause I know they read this SAKSLDJ

I think the main turn around for the day was a phone call with my bff. I don't know it just meant so much and was just so nice. They're such a grounding person for me and I'm always so grateful with just everything. I dont know just the phone call made me finally feel like time slowed down for a second and forget about everything for a little while. It's kind of ironic since the time went by so fast on the phone LMAO. Really it was the sense of connection for me through the phone call. I know that I am always connected with them and I bother them literally all day but mental illness and boundaries just makes me feel disconnected when I know that isn't it all.

I feel like that left me with a lot of serotonin and feeling of ease like I was okay for the day. I feel like they do that a lot for me :( I tried to make myself sleep but I couldn't really force it so I read manga until I passed out for like 40 minutes. It was really short and I felt more tired when I woke up but I think it's probably good I got a bit more rest.

The rest of today felt slow. I didn't know what to really do but I ended up cutting my hair since it has been a bit. I think I'm always frustrated with my hair. It feels like there is nothing I can do with it and Ive just had the same overall short hair style my whole life. If it grows past a certain point it just becomes too curly to manages and dries out super fast. I wish I could experience a different hairstyle but that feels like a reach both from logical standpoints and from my lack of self esteem on the matters. I feel like id just look weird doing something new. One day I should try dyeing it maybe I wanna try.

Thinking about the future there is just so much that feels overwhelming but at the same time I know I'm not completely alone regarding it. I don't really wanna talk about the things changing in the future but maybe my worries.

Ive been so worried about the future and meeting people. I am someone who is so bad at first impressions and worried about upsetting others. I know that I would try my hardest to get along and not cross lines with people but Ive begun wondering if any of my habits would cause any issues. I just don't want to be hated or do something off putting especially since I can be unaware of things at times.

On a separate but slightly connected note I feel like I should try to be more outgoing and form an actual friendship. I think I am still acting a bit stand offish and shy and thats because I really am but also like what if I am hated lmaoo I usually don't care if others hate me because I am mostly disconnected from people but it feels like I can't be like that right now. It helps nothing and my anxiety won't let me.

Sometimes I really wonder if I ever let myself breathe or am I just someone stuck in an endless loop of mental illness and self deprecation lmao

I'll never really know but I don't think the answer matters as long as I don't cause others to feel suffocated by my issues and presence.

I think tomorrow might be a bit of a better day. I might see a friend in person that I haven't seen in like 7 months. So that might be interesting.

Can't believe I'm on a three day streak of posting. Hopefully I can continue

Even just hearing his name makes me want to strangle him and then myself.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate him. Opposite, in fact. All I’ve wanted is to be his friend, but he won’t even look at me for more than three seconds before he just walks away, and I’m literally in his pack!

He looked at me for about two seconds before breaking eye contact and moving towards Seth again.

“I’m gonna go see what Bella’s up to.” He gave a light grin to Seth, completely ignoring me again. As he was turning away, I spoke up.

“You know she’s probably with Edward right now.”

Jacob stopped, slowly facing me. I bit the inside of my cheek, eager to see what he would do.

“I know.”

And with that, he continued to walk away from us. I watched him until he was out of eyesight, anger heating up inside my chest.

“Seth, I swear I just wanna...” I glared my eyes and put my hands up in front of my face in a strangling motion, right towards where Jacob disappeared from. “Why doesn’t he like me?”

Seth chuckled from my little action, resting a hand on my shoulder. I looked at him, a frown settled on my face from the previous events.

“I don’t think it’s that he doesn’t like you... did you wanna know what we were saying about you?”

Hm, did I?

“...Thanks Seth, but no.”

I wasn’t ready to hear what Jacob had to say about me. I knew it was probably something about how annoying I was, and I’d rather just keep annoying him without knowing he thinks I’m annoying, it takes the fun out of it.

I gently punched Seth’s chest, quickly hiding my little frown and smiling widely at him.

“I think I’m gonna go over to the beach, you wanna come with?” I changed the topic, waiting for his answer.

“Oh no, I got some things I have to do here, but I’ll be with you in spirit!” He beamed. I laughed, almost forgetting about my sadness. Seth has always been the type of person that can light up your mood with just a smile.

“Okay, see ya!” I began my short journey to La Push. It wasn’t far away at all, so I always like to travel by foot there. It also made me feel more connected to nature, which made me feel like I was speeding up the process of turning into my wolf form. Ducking around forest branches and stepping over giant limbs that had fallen, the walk was nice. It was always refreshing to be outside, I loved the feeling of the damp air and the smell of when it’s just rained, which is partly one of the reasons why I enjoyed it here so much. My thoughts of the earth seemed to distract me from Jacob, which is exactly what I wanted.

Finding my way through the clearing, I stepped out of the woods and let my feet sink into the cold sand. I took off my shoes, finally feeling a little more at ease. I took a deep breath and just let the wind overwhelm me with a positive energy, smelling the salt in the air. I walked along the side of the water until I decided to sit down in the sand.

I watched the ocean waves hit the shore, and as much as I wanted to appreciate the beauty of it, my mind kept slipping back to certain memories of a certain boy.

There was one time in particular that always played over and over again. It was about two or three years ago when this happened, but it’s still one of the best memories I have, considering the fact that Jacob actually seemed like he was having fun with me. We were only playing catch with a football, everyone else had gotten tired or wanted to do something else, so it was just us two. We were laughing and talking, and it felt so easy to do that.

To talk to him.

But then his attitude just completely changed for some reason. He had the ball, and I had the genius idea to tackle him, I mean I was not playing around... even though it was just a friendly game of catch.

He didn’t mind it though, he was having fun, I know he was. But then he got this seriously intense look on his face and said he didn’t feel good and left.

I just thought he had diarrhea or something, but I guess not.

After that he started to get distant again, more so than he already was, without any explanation as to why he was acting that way. I’ve come to terms with it, but now I’m just mad every time I see him. Mad that I’ve tried so hard and mad that I keep trying when I know nothing is going to change... and mad that he keeps doing this shit for no reason.

Not realizing how deep into my thoughts I was, the crashing sound of a huge wave caught my attention, and I saw the seagulls above the water. Good, I didn’t need to think anymore about him.

“It’s so beautiful.” I muttered to myself, a small grin settled on my mouth. “I could stay here for the rest of my life.”

Stretching out, I fully lied my body on the sand so that it was almost as if I was making angels in it, except I wasn’t moving my arms or legs. I closed my eyes, soaking in the wonderful breeze and the immaculate feeling of the dirt underneath my body. It wasn’t long before that was ruined though, because when I opened my eyes next all I saw was a body hovering to the side of me, looking straight down at my face.

“AHH!” I screamed, completely startled at the figure above me, only to calm my breathing when I realized it was Jacob. “What the fuck, man?! Warn a pal next time!”

My heartbeat was still fast, but it was slowing down. Getting up from my position and standing on my feet, I beat any excess sand off of my backside and legs that I could get off. Jacob had an amused look on his features, a tiny smirk tugging at his lips.

He sure does have the audacity.

“Don’t worry, I was just leaving.” I huffed with a roll of my eyes and began to stride past him. To my surprise, his hand gripped my wrist before I could move any further. I stopped, turning my head in his direction, an eyebrow raised in confusion.

“Wait, um, you’re actually the person I was looking for.”

Huh?

“...What?” I asked, more to myself than to him. I shook his palm off of me, and now my whole body was facing him, waiting for him to continue with whatever he was going to go on about. “Okay... that’s a shocker...”

Jacob awkwardly laughed, then stopped when he saw my emotionless expression.

“Um... I need to tell you something. I’ve been too nervous, but after talking to Seth earlier, I feel a little better about it.”

I swear to god if he tells me he’s gay... I mean good for him but it’s not that big of a deal, maybe that’s why he’s so obsessed with Bella, because he couldn’t come to terms with the fact that he likes men.

“Can... can we sit down?” He asked. I was so confused right now, but I nodded my head. Now both of us were sat on the sand, side by side. He kept glancing at me, and I could tell he was getting anxious.

“What is it? Just say it, Jacob.”

I stared at him, waiting for his response.

He took in a breath, and what he said next had me cackling with laughter.

“...I imprinted on you.”

No really, I was doubled over out of air.

“Phew!! Good one, Jacob!!” I let my chuckles die down. His eyes were slightly wide, not expecting my reaction. “Huuuuh, wow. You’re a tool, man. Ignore me for years and then insensitively joke about me? What an ass move.” At this point my smile was gone when I said the last few words.

“Y/N, I’m not joking. I know I’ve been a jerk and I’m sorry, but it’s true! Can we please start over?” His face showed no ‘ha! just kidding, you’re dumb!’ look at all, it was completely serious.

“...I’m sorry, what?” I was livid. “What?!?” I yelled, jumping up on my feet. He followed my actions.

“Y/N I—”

“No! Shut up!” I cut him off. “You do not get the right to do this! You’ve been obsessed with Bella for literal years! And now you want me?!?”

He didn’t say anything.

Good.

“What is your problem!? You think me knowing that you imprinted is gonna magically change things? IT MAKES THEM WORSE, JACOB! You think you have some sort of moronic wolfy claim over me? Like I said, you’ve been OBSESSED with Bella Swan, and NOW you wanna pay attention to me? NOW you wanna be nice to me?” I screamed at him. “Fuck you!” I walked away from him.

“Wait! Y/N!!” Jacob tried to grab me again. I turned around and slapped him straight in the face. He let go, his head turned from the impact and a red print already starting to form.

“...Leave me alone.” I said defeated, my voice quiet.

And with that, I walked back into the woods and left Jacob standing there. I didn’t know where I was gonna go, but I didn’t want to go back home yet in fear that I would just see him sooner than I wanted to, or was ready to.

He imprinted on me? Since when? I still had so many questions for him but my anger wasn’t going to let me get them answered at the moment.

The sun was setting, and it was getting dark. I knew I probably needed to head back but I can’t, not now at least. Besides, it was good to get a long walk in and empty my mind, especially after what just happened. Though I doubt I’ll be able to stop thinking about the previous events, that was practically impossible. I just needed to ponder on it some. Was I too harsh? No. No. He deserved it. Of course I’ll talk to him later, but he needed to be put in his place and I did a fantastic job of doing that in my opinion.

Around thirty minutes had passed before I came to an opening. There was the main road. I wasn’t ready yet, so I kept going forward. No one was coming, not that my eyes could see anyway. But just because you can’t see something doesn’t mean it isn’t there. I was halfway across the road when I saw the bright lights coming towards me at what was definitely faster than what the speed limit here was. There was no way I’d be getting out of this one, not without my wolf, and well...

I don’t even have my wolf.

I was basically a deer in headlights, literally. Except I wasn’t a deer. My eyes were wide and I stood there in shock, not really processing what was about to happen. A car was deadlining it towards me at a very high speed.

I was surely dead, even if I tried to jump out of the way, I’d be too slow.

I glared at the brightness of the lights, and my heartbeat sped up as I was sure I’d meet a certain death.

I braced for impact, but just as the car was about to hit me another force knocked me out of the way. It was soft, and large. But I still ended up rolling across the road and scraping myself up, though I would much rather have this than a casket.

“Uuugh.” I groaned, rubbing my head and sitting up against the tree that had stopped my movement. I looked, squinting as my eyes adjusted to whatever had just happened.

A wolf stood in front of me, pushing my hand with its head. I guess not just a wolf, but Jacob.

I couldn’t say thank you, that’s just embarrassing after what he did, but a slight wince left my lips. He got down on all fours, lowering his head. I knew what he wanted, so I steadily moved towards him, climbing up and situating myself to where I wouldn’t fall off of him when we started moving. I held on as he made his way through the forest, swiftly and quickly going back home.

This is not the way I wanted to see him next, and I have no idea what I’ll say whenever he changes back. I wasn’t ready, I’m not ready.

Not too much time passed before I could see the lights from the house. At least I’d be able to be in the comfort of my own home.

Jacob came to a stop and I slid off, sore from scraping everything up. I made my way to the porch, not waiting on him. I sat down in one of the rocking chairs, watching as Jacob turned back into his regular self. He walked over to me, concern written all over his features.

“Y/N, are you okay?”

“I’m fine.”

He looked at my arms and my legs, clearly noticing the small scratches here and there.

“Wait here.” Jacob went inside to do whatever it was he was doing. He’s told me to wait so many times today, it’s annoying.

I was contemplating the entire day when after a few minutes passed Jacob finally came back out with alcohol and a cloth in hand, as well as a cup in the other.

“Here, for you.” He smiled, handing me the cup which was actually filled with hot chocolate. He even put the individual little marshmallows in it. I couldn’t help but form a tiny grin on my lips.

“Oh, um, thank you.” I appreciated his efforts at making me feel better, even though he was the reason this all started. I took a sip of the warm and comforting drink, immediately feeling some of my muscles relax. He dragged another chair next to mine, pouring some of the alcohol onto the soft fabric. I didn’t protest when he gently took my forearm, pressing the damp cloth to the scrape.

It stung a bit, but it was nothing I couldn’t handle.

“I’m sorry.” Jacob spoke, looking me in the eye.

“...I know.” I replied. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner? How long has this been the case? I just need answers Jacob.”

“And I will give them all to you, I promise.” He moved on to the next scratch. “To be honest, you intimidate me. I imprinted on you a while ago, and I mean a while ago.”

I took in this information, still confused.

“So you acted against your own instincts to protect and cherish me... your destined mate, and instead focused all of your time and energy on a girl who’s with somebody else?”

“Well, when you put it like that...”

He strayed off his sentence. I chuckled.

“I think it’s because I was so nervous around you that I kept trying with Bella. I wanted something so badly with you that I wouldn’t even let myself have it because I was scared if I tried it wouldn’t work.” Jacob continued.

“Oh, please,” I scoffed, “I think you’ve been so obsessed with Bella because you couldn’t handle the fact that the girl you thought you liked was already in love with your natural enemy.” I glanced at him. “So you forgot about the person you actually liked... at least I hope you actually liked them...”

Jacob stopped his work on my arm, meeting my gaze.

“Of course I liked them, and I still do. I still really, really do.”

I smiled at his indirect confession, I knew he was talking about me.

“You know, I can’t tell if you’re pretending to be dumb or if you really are just stupid enough to do what you did this whole time.” I was joking around with him, the grin still on my face. “We could’ve been something by now.”

“We still can be something?” He said, but it was more of a question he asked me.

“...Yeah.”

This made him beam, a wide smirk appeared and his eyes twinkled.

“I promise to protect you, and cherish you, and—”

“Woah buddy, we’re not exchanging vows. Even though we grew up together, we’re still basically strangers.” I informed him. “So let’s take it slow and do this right.”

He nodded his head in agreement, his smile still plastered on his face. I let out a little giggle, excited that I was finally able to have a connection with him, that’s all I ever wanted.

“Hey Jacob...” I said. He hummed in response.

I leaned forward, giving him a tiny peck on the cheek. This surprised him, but he was more than ecstatic to get it. His giddiness amused me, and I was also happy to be growing our relationship together.

“Now... will you make me another cup of hot chocolate?” I held my mug out, a grin resting on my features. Jacob gladly took it out of my grip, getting up in the process.

“Of course, anything for you. I’ll make it extra special with a little dash of love.”

I let out a loud laugh as I watched him disappear through the door. Today was rough, but at least it’s ended on a good note.

Jacob and I were getting close, something was blooming between us, and that’s more than I ever could have asked for.

you were both on weekly weeekly idol together

and both you and riki being main dancers, you were asked to do random dance together

a few popular songs played and the both of you did the choreos

until after school started playing and the boy did the chorus’ choreo and you were like “woah???”

bc he was so INTO ITTTT

the song was basically made for him to cover it

and the mcs saw your reaction so they asked him to do it once again but this time with the whole group

after filming, he came up to you and was like “i’m a huge fan of yours” and you’re just like ):&/£]>\**_£]

and his face just lights up bc his huge crush on you developed even more

you became besties since then but he didn’t ask you out until your birthday

he took you out to a puppy café, knowing you were obsessed with dogs

melted at the thought of traveling to his hometown with you
