Hi again Lea!
I sent in an ask a little while back but I’m not sure if you received it, so here it is just in case (if you’re still doing the prompts ask game):
If it’s not too much trouble, would you do “Is that my shirt?” + “Keep it. It looks better on you.” for G? Like if it was one of the exact same shirts that MC would wear back when they were dating?
Thanks again and may you never miss a semicolon in your code!
Oh, thanks for resending Alby! I believe it's just lost in the amount of asks I've gotten lately. I'll gladly answer, below the cut!
G enters the apartment, exhaling heavily as they set down a bag full of papers from the clinic and a take away bag. They slide their white coat off hanging it on the door, before swiping a hand through their perfectly kept black hair.
"Welcome home." Your voice carries over to them from where you sit on the chair in the living room. Several papers lay spread across the table, many leftover paper work you were unable to finish at the office.
"Thank you, did you already eat?" G walks over, placing a hand on your shoulder squeezing gently before placing a kiss on the top of your head.
"No, I was going to wait to see what you wanted." You turn to look at them, at the bag of food in their hand. They smile fondly, G was always good about ensuring you ate before too late. Knowing how hangry you can get. Something they seemed to remember even when you were apart.
You notice their smile drop and their brow arch, they tilt their head looking you over. Their eyes falling to the shirt that you designated as your night wear.
"Is that my shirt?"
You look down, brow furrowed only to realize, it in fact is their shirt. O you had worn back in college, the very shirt they let you wear after your first night together. "Oh, I honestly didn't notice. I guess I kept it after that night. Do you..want it back?"
G covers their mouth with a pale hand, hiding away the smile on their lips. They were always so self conscious of their smile. Of the way their nose crinkles every so slightly.
It seems you weren't the only one who remembered that shirt, or that night.
They place a hand on your chin, tilting your head up slightly before placing a soft kiss on your lips. A kiss you've had several times before, one you shared even back then. Yet, neither of you are the same anymore.
G pulls back ever so slightly, looking into your eyes. "Keep it. It looks better on you. It always did."
Before you can fully smile they kiss you again, but this one lingers. The meal will have to wait because right now the only thing you want is to spend another moment locked in this kiss. It seems G feels the same way.
