Summary: When Kim Taehyung, the beautiful Sin of Lust, took over Japan and settled on Busan, it was your mission to stop him, but it took some unexpected turns.

Pairing: Sin of Lust Taehyung x Sin of Wrath reader.

Genre: Demons, Oneshot, Angst, Deadly Sins AU, Fantasy AU, Kind of inspired by Fantastic Beasts and the Dumbledore family, also inspired by my Harry Potter plot, inspired by the song "Red Lights" by Hyunjin and Bangchan of Stray Kids.

Warnings: Violence, reader had kind of a bad past, blood drinking, kind of dirty talk? Reader is not-so-innocent, teasing, dark themes, Taehyung in black perm {yes that's a warning}, Taehyung being sadistic af, Jungkook is the jealous boy.

"Unnie, Lust took over Japan just three minutes ago, your brother informed us"

Yeji, your assistant, friend and fellow Deadly Sin of Mischief, informed you in a cold afternoon of winter in your manor in the outskirts of Seoul, your twin brother Min Yoongi, the Sin of Pride lived in Daegu, and had his ears everywhere, thanks very much to his Sinful power.

Lust.

Oh how much you hated him, Kim Taehyung, the Sin of Lust, the beautiful Sin of goddam Lust, the only one who can stand up to your power of rage.

You groan in annoyance and you put down 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows', the book you were reading in your personal library and you stand up, with a flick of your hand, your trench coat flew towards you and you put it on, you sigh in frustration and walk towards the door, Yeji following right behind you.

"Unnie, Hyunjin, Namjoon and I can go and stop him" Yeji said behind you. Hyunjin was Yeji's twin brother and Sin of Mischief, and Namjoon is the Sin of Sloth and your best friend, and although he's very powerful, with the ability to make others fall asleep and feed on energy, he is still, well. Sloth.

"Ah Yeji, we both know that Namjoon will complain about going"

"Right, I forgot, sorry unnie."

"You never accepted my love! And for him?!" Jungkook shouted again as he pointed a knife at you and Taehyung, who stood beside you, meanwhile Yoongi was on your left, he was slightly glaring at Jungkook.

You and Taehyung were dating during that time, fell complete in love at first sight, you both planned to leave Busan to travel the world by yourselves, with no siblings in sight.

"Say that again! I dare you! You pathetic child!" Taehyung growled and took an intimating step towards Jungkook, his aura changed very drastically, from all soft to a pure demon.

"Stop! Both of you!" You screamed at them since they started pointing their swords at each other, you take out your own, that had snakes swirled around the handle and blade.

No one heard Jisoo coming down the stairs and hid herself behind the counter of the kitchen, to just look at you.

Jungkook, being, well. Envy, he obviously felt jealous of Taehyung for having your attention, so he made the first move and slashed Taehyung's cheek, a small cut on his cheek, Taehyung smirks as he touches his cheek, sees his black blood on his fingers and he licks his finger clean.

Yoongi was trying to hold you still, he really didn't want to interrupt because chaos would happen if he did.

Taehyung threw his sword aside, and used his powers instead, purple light came from his hands, his eyes turned purple as well and levitated Jungkook, purple electric chains were conjured, you levitated your own hands and red chains appeared to fight Taehyung's.

"Enough!" You shouted, but of course, they didn't listen. Yoongi conjured vines from the ground and tied Taehyung's legs into the ground, making Taehyung kneel and groan in pain as the thorns of the vines got into his skin.

Having enough, Taehyung conjured purple light into his hand, Jungkook conjured a yellow one and Yoongi conjured a orange light as well, and you conjured your red one.

"Stop-" You saw Jisoo run towards you as Yoongi, Jungkook and Taehyung released their energy.

"JISOO NO!"

Jisoo, who tried to stop the fight got into the crossfire, she then dropped dead, there, on your floor, your beautiful sister, who had so much life ahead of her, was there, laying as a flare was on her hair, her brown eyes open, looking at the void.

"No... No..." You sobbed as you kneeled next to her, held her head into your hands, you closed her eyes meanwhile Yoongi also kneeled and hugged Jisoo's body.

With wrath and rage, you stood up and conjured a dagger, you turned to Taehyung, who looked horrified at your dead sister's body, his eyes then turned to yours.

"Jagiya... I would never... You know that-"

You screamed and pounced at him, you were slashing your dagger at him, the blade centimeters away from his clean neck, until he disappeared, vanished.

Taehyung teleported away before the dagger arrived to its destination, with a cry of agony, you dropped to the floor and cried to yourself, Yoongi went towards you and hugged you from behind, meanwhile Jungkook still looked at Jisoo's body in disbelieve.

And that was the day you turned to Wrath.

"Inform Yuna to prepare the Jeju royal guard and Yoongi to prepare the Daegu guard, Taehyung will be in Busan" You say as you step out your manor, adjusting your cuffs of your jacket, Yeji came out but instead, she brought your Night Fury, Lilith, for your ride to Busan, and on her shoulder, was your black mamba companion, Nagini.

"Unnie, are you sure you don't want any one of us to go?"

"Yes, I'll be fine, I'll have Lilith with me"

Yeji nods, she gives you a tight hug from behind, you turn around and hug her back and place a kiss on her temple, she lets you go, muttering a 'Bye Unnie', she returned to the manor.

Sighing, you look over to your other best friends, Lilith and Nagini

Yes, Lilith was named after the Queen of Hell, but no one nowadays know that Lilith is not the real Queen of Hell, it was actually you, Lilith is just temporary since you live on Earth.

Who is the King then if Lucifer isn't the King? Well, it's Taehyung sadly.

And of course you name your black mamba Nagini, after all, you do like Harry Potter.

You mount on Lilith's back, you give her a pat on the side of her neck and she spreads her wings and rises into the air with speed.

The flight to Busan didn't take long, since Lilith's speed is incredible, you were able to see the palace of the Kim family, which Taehyung inherited from his parents when they died by an attack of normal humans who were jealous of their power.

Many, many humans were jealous of your powers, but many others were grateful, knowing that the balance is being well controlled by 'magical beings'.

As you and Lilith flew above the palace, she suddenly stopped with a warning roar, she only did that when she sensed something out of place, Nagini moved from her secure grip on your arm to Lilith's forehead, using her tail to soothe Lilith.

"Lilith? What's wrong?" You ask as you pet her side of her neck, she gives off a hiss, with her wings, she made a powerful flap towards the palace and the wind got reflected back, a purple shield was revealed and then it vanished.

'Magical barrier, classical Taehyung magic' You thought.

You turned Lilith towards the side, and you touched the barrier.

Your hand went through.

"Get us down Lilith" You ordered Lilith softly as Nagini returned to your neck and Lilith flew towards the forest that was near the palace, when you touched ground, you dismounted Lilith and removed Nagini from your neck and placed her on the back of Lilith, and they both looked deeply confused at your actions.

"Seeing that I'm the only one that can cross the barrier, I'll go by myself" You explain to them as you take off your purse and placed it on the back of Lilith and took out 5 daggers and placed them at your thigh knife holster, you took out your Jikdo from it's holder placed at your hip and exanimated it, you see a bit of splash of blood in it and you clean it with your sleeve.

"I should at least go!" Nagini argued in Parseltongue, snake language.

"If Lilith can't cross, you won't be able as well" You say in Parseltongue as you placed your Jikdo back to it's place, Nagini frowned in her serpent way, not happy with your response, but you carressed her forehead and she hissed in delight, her serpent body relaxed.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine."

Lilith nodded her head, her expression still said thoughts until she turned and drank water from the nearby lake, while Nagini laid in a stone.

You turned around and walked over to the palace, as you got closer to the barrier, you felt uncertain, you felt an weird aura around, it was no mistake Taehyung's magic that made you feel that.

With one last look at Lilith and Nagini, you crossed the border that separated you and Taehyung.

"Hyung, she's here, what would you like me, Jinnie-ah, hobi, Jimin, Jennie, Chaeyoung and Lisa to do?" Jungkook asked Taehyung, who was sitting lazily on his throne, a goblet of blood in his hand as his lips were red from the blood.

Jungkook had lost interest in you years after the incident with your sister, and he fell in love with someone else, and that was Taehyung's twin brother. Seokjin. Jimin and Jennie were also his siblings, meanwhile Chaeyoung and Lisa were their cousins.

"Continue on the torture of the prisoners, I will take care of her." Taehyung smirked and licked his lips, it's been years since he last saw you, and he was eager to see you after all those years.

Jungkook nodded and smirked at Taehyung's expression before he turned and left Taehyung by himself.

Taehyung placed his forefinger against his lips as he looked at a photograph of you and him under a cherry blossom, he removed his finger from his lips and caressed your side of the photograph, his irises turned slightly pink.

'I'll make you feel my love today, Jagiya'

'I forgot how big this palace was' You thought as you stood in front of the door to the inside, normal people would've just open or knocked the door, but since you are not a normal person, but rather the most powerful Sin, you just trespassed through the door, like nothing was there.

The inside was very elegant, and it looked like the western Victorian era, Taehyung's favorite era, as you went further the stronger the aura felt, in a corridor you were walking through, you saw a mirror, you stood in front of the mirror and stared at yourself.

That is, until Taehyung appeared behind you.

"Long time no see, Jagiya"

You took out your Jikdo and tried to turn around but Taehyung pinned you to the wall, your chest was against the wall and Taehyung's chest against your back, his hand then grabbed your neck.

"That's not very nice, after all these years, you want to murder me? I thought you were glad to see me"

You scoffed, you tried to shrug him off but his grip on your neck tightened, he leaned his face towards your neck, his hot breath made you feel uneasy, you suddenly felt arousal building up in your lower stomach, he had his unoccupied hand on your hip, and his fingers danced slowly downwards, closer and closer, and then you noticed.

He's using his power of seduction.

You growl and you became shadows and merged behind him, you placed your Jikdo against his neck.

"That's cheating!"

Taehyung turned around and he also pointed his Jikdo, which had had 'Kim' written in the blade, just like yours had 'Min'.

"Everything is fair in love and war, Jagiya"

You growled again and conjured a ball of darkness in your hand and made it explode on the ground, giving you time to turn into shadows again.

"Now that's not fair, dear."

"Like you said, everything is fair in love and war"

You merged behind him again and pushed him to the ground, your eyes turned blood-red as his head made contact with the ground, a pained groan left him and you placed your foot on his neck, his hands came to your leg as his eyes also turned red.

Taehyung coughed and black blood left his mouth slightly, he smirked as he wiped his blood off, before you could do anything, he started singing a line.

"Make you feel my love, oh~"

Shit.

Golden chains were conjured, they were surrounded by purple light, they started to move like snakes as they charged at you.

You left Taehyung on the floor as you tried to teleport away, but it didn't work, and even turning into shadows wouldn't work against magical chains.

Curse him and his enchantments.

You started to run away from the chains as Taehyung stood up behind you, enjoying the way you're running away from him.

One of the chains grabbed your waist and made you stop as the other chains grabbed your ankle, neck, and arms.

"Make you feel my love, oh~"

Taehyung, who was incharge of the chains, pulled you back and instantly, you were trapped in his arms as the chains tightened.

"You think you can escape me? After all these years?" He asked softly as he placed one hand on your cheek, his hold on you suddenly felt comforting, the chains around loosened as he stroke your cheek, his thumb then came to a stop on your bottom lip, he then stares into your eyes, his bright purple eyes then turned to it's original dark purple shade.

He started to lean in and kissed you softly, you instantly gave to his kiss, he placed his hand on the back of your head to kiss you deeper, you forgot in what situation you were in, and what he did 200 years ago, he parted your lips with his tongue and explored your mouth.

Until you remembered the situation.

You groaned in the kiss and you transformed into a snake to escape the chains around you, Taehyung growled as he raised his hand again and started to control his chains, his eyes turned to the brightest shade of purple once again and the chains moved snake like again.

You transformed back into a human, except you had black wings on your back, you rarely used your wings because you usually have Lilith with you, but in the circumstances you currently are now, you clearly need to use them.

Before Taehyung's enchanted chains could grab you again, you spread your wings and took off, you broke the celling and made it outside.

Once you were in the barrier, you tried to leave but you hit the barrier instead, the barrier closed, even for you.

'Stupid lustful sin' You thought.

You heard something break under you, Taehyung, with his own black wings took off and started to fly towards you at incredible speed.

You hissed and started to fly around the dome Taehyung created to tire him down, but instead, you were starting to become tired.

Taehyung was in your tail, you conjured your dagger from your thigh knife holster and threw one at him, he dodged it by only centimeters.

You could feel his anger rising, one of your cons and pros of being Wrath yourself, he conjures a ball of dark purple light and throws it at you, you dodged it and flew towards the ground, you could hear Taehyung following you.

Suddenly, you made a turn upwards, grabbed Taehyung, who was near you and pushed him to the ground, where the impact created a crater.

You could hear Taehyung exclaim in pain and hear something crack.

'I think I broke his wings' You thought as you had balls of darkness in your hands, just in case.

Suddenly, you were hit by one of Taehyung's purple light, your wings stopped working and you started to fall, you were so near the floor you could see the patterns of the tiles.

Taehyung conjured a big pillow that caught you before you could hit the ground, you felt strange, something changed in you, and you felt your eyes burn.

"Come here, Jagiya"

Your body moved by itself, you had no control, it felt like you were a marionette and he was the puppeteer.

'Biological Manipulation' You thought as you got closer to Taehyung, when you were in his range, he quickly placed his arm around your waist and his other on your neck.

"Why do you have to fight everything I do to the point I have to control your body?" He tsked, his hand on your neck tightened.

"Cat caught your tongue? No, more like Lust caught your tongue?" He teased, you could feel yourself becoming redder, you couldn't use your magic, he is on the same level or perhaps stronger than you.

He leaned not towards your lips, but towards your ear.

"Answer me" He growled, until his face dropped to your neck, where he started to kiss slowly as you could only stand there and not do anything.

Just as you were going to moan, Taehyung stopped with a hiss of pain, and you heard a familiar hiss.

"Curse you! You filthy snake!"

Nagini hissed loudly, she bit Taehyung on his leg, you felt getting your control back, but a tail grabbed your waist.

Lilith was the one that grabbed you, she roared loudly at Taehyung, meanwhile he hissed at her.

Just when Nagini was going to bite Taehyung again, another person attacked Nagini.

And that was your other childhood best friend, Jungkook.

"Don't touch my hyung!"

Lilith felt danger, so she placed you on her back and shot a plasma blast bellow her to create smoke.

When Taehyung and Jungkook exclaimed at the sudden dust, Lilith dived, grabbed Nagini with her paw and started to fly away quickly, but you heard shouting back there, you turned and saw Taehyung riding his own Night Fury, Lucifer. But he was not following you, no, he was flying on his spot to taunt you.

"You may hate me. You may not stand me anymore. But I know you still want me! And there's no other way out of this, Jagiya!"

You ignored him, but you've got to admit.

He's not wrong.

Another day of drowning oneself in work. Another day as an Investigator of Special Case. Another dull day in the life of Min Yoongi, but maybe today was about to be a day worth the extra effort he put into waking up, getting ready, walking down the same path to KCCG, and working.

As per usual, Yoongi turned on his PC and made his way to the small pantry at the corner of his room to brew himself a cup of coffee. He remembered how the very corner of his office was just an empty space, but you had proposed to Jungkook to establish a personal pantry at each investigator’s office.

Honestly, that might be the best proposition you had come up with because Yoongi himself wouldn’t want to cramp himself in a pantry that was not even as big as his office and not every floor has a pantry. The thought of interacting with another creature irked him.

Plus, KCCG was an edifice.

Yoongi walked back to his desk which he didn’t even bother to clean up. It was messy because it was scattered in its place. His desk was pretty much similar to yours: filled with paperwork even though neither the two of you were a bureau investigator.

Settling himself comfortably on his seat with a cup of freshly brewed coffee in his hand, his free hand reached for the computer mouse and dragged it until the cursor on the screen reached the destination, the mail.

First thing first before Yoongi started his work, he would always check his emails.

Once the screen loaded, his emails never failed to impress him. He received more than five hundred emails every day, but of course, to make his life much easier, KCCG included a priority function when sending emails within the organisation.

Hence, immediately he clicked on the ‘High Priority’ folder with the striking bold red exclamation mark.

“Addition to Q Squad.” the title read. That unconsciously made his brow lift.

From Chief Director of Division 1, Kim Namjoon. Of course, his soulmate.

Skipping all the formal opening and greeting, the email read as below:

Leader : Investigator of Special Class, Min Yoongi.

Existing Members : Associate Investigator of Special Class, Kim Seokjin, First Class Investigator(s), Lalisa, Kim Jisoo.

New Addition : Associate Investigator of Special Class, Jeon (Y/N) Kishou.

Yoongi scoffed boringly but a muscle was quick to twitch hence a smirk found its way to tug on the corner of his lips.

The clock had just hit 7:30 A.M. and the email had a carbon copy sent to one of his favourite soulmates. Yoongi leaned in his leather chair comfortably. Sipping his coffee with a little too much excitement in his veins.

The extra effort was worth it surely.

One,

Two,

Three.

The door was slammed open, and it was the very person he was expecting for.

Jimin.

“Oh, Jimin,” his eyes widened a bit, as he gasped as if not expecting his soulmate. “To what do I owe the pleasure of having you here first thing in the morning?”

“Appeal.” Jimin said coolly.

“Appeal what exactly?” Yoongi feigned cluelessness.

“You’ve read the email, Min Yoongi.” The fire behind Jimin’s eyes made the older excited. Jimin gave him a frosty look as he enunciated. “Appeal. For. Rejection.”

Yoongi frowned foolishly followed by a shrug. “I have no reason to reject (Y/N) to be in my team.” He has.

“Oh, you sure do,” Jimin started to saunter around the room. “Reason number one being you can’t even be anywhere with her presence for more than 30 minutes before you quickly find an excuse to leave. Two, you hate her, she hates you. Three, you guys avoid each other.”

Jimin strode towards Yoongi’s desk, hands on it. With his voice thick with mockery, he announced the last reason. “Lastly, you can’t handle her.”

Yoongi looked unimpressed.

Or at least he tried to look unimpressed.

Taking a sip of his coffee, he groaned when the rich flavour reached the back of his throat. He propped an arm on the desk and rested his chin on it.

Aloofly, he spoke. “One, 30 minutes is the time I allocated for every meeting except for our soulmates. Two, I have never verbally told anyone and her I hate her, nor have I ever heard her verbally announcing her hatred towards me to anyone or me. Three, we don’t. I just met her three days ago.”

Yoongi then propped his other arm on the table as well and connected his fingers. “Lastly, it’s you who can’t handle her.” With a mocking smile. “Or else why would she be handed over to someone else aka me, hmm?”

“Don’t blame others for your incompetency.” The smile was gone, and every trace of excitement vanished and was replaced with his cold, deadly stare.

“You don’t know anything, Yoongi.” Jimin narrowed his eyes at him. “Don’t run your mouth about something you have zero knowledge of.”

“That’s why I’m saying things only I, and I only, have knowledge of.”

“You’re infuriating.” He groaned.

“I know that.” Yoongi acknowledged with a shrug. He raised from his seat and made his way, again, to the pantry to make himself another cup of coffee. With a very dismissive tone, he told Jimin. “Now, will you excuse yourself? I need to welcome my new team member.”

“Fuck you.” Jimin chided.

Yoongi was quick to retort. “I’d rather fuck your arse.”

“You–”

The door was pushed open. Jimin’s remark was cut off. His face was heating up and Yoongi resumed making his coffee without care.

The second person Yoongi has been expecting.

“Good…” Your greeting was stuck on the tip of your tongue when you saw Jimin in your new mentor’s office. He looked like he didn’t expect you to be here too. But what could be done? Namjoon sent you an email this morning informing your new placement in another squad. Specifically speaking, Yoongi’s squad: Q Squad.

“Good morning, (Y/N).” Yoongi greeted you which was, by the way, extremely out of character. He even looked your way.

You immediately bowed and redo your greeting. “Good morning, Investigator Min.”

Your new mentor then raised his eyebrow at your former mentor. “Well, Jimin, what are you waiting for? This is your cue to leave.”

Jimin’s right eye twitched uncontrollably but a smirk found its way to his plump lips. With a controlled voice, he managed out a “As you wish, Min.” and spread the paperwork on Yoongi’s desk into an even messier mess which the older stared at in horror.

Petty and childish…

As he passed by you, you expressed your valediction with a bow. “Have a good day, Investigator Pa–”

Jimin grabbed you by the forearm and dragged you out with him.

Before getting dragged out of the office completely, you saw your mentor’s horrified expression was replaced with his casual smirk.

Why does he have to be so unreadable?

“Investigator Park–!” You tried to pull back your arms. Although you knew it was a futile effort, it didn’t hurt to try.

Jimin halted, resulting you to bump into his hard chest instead of his back as he had spun very quickly. His hands snaked around your waist, holding you close to him. Realising your face and his face might be in close proximity, you tried to at least pull back your head to create some distance.

“Say my name.”

You frowned and accidentally met his eyes. Quickly turning away to break the eye contact, you tried to wiggle your way out of his arms. “What–”

His hand found its way to your neck, putting on light pressure. You knew he hated it when you avoid eye contact. He and Jungkook were like that. Face hard with a low voice and hint of annoyance, Jimin repeated. “Say. My. Name.”

Your eyes flickered at his voice, but your mouth was quick to comply. “J–Jimin…”

“Good girl.” His thumb found its way to your lips. He smudged your lipstick and dragged it a little out of place. Your hands were frozen. Jimin then brought his thumb and smudge the lipstick stain on his own lips. “Now, let’s meet Namjoon to switch you back into my team.”

“Switch who back into your team?” Namjoon

Eyes widening, you pushed Jimin away to get out of this compromising position. “Director Kim, Jeon.” You immediately bowed and greeted them.

“I want (Y/N) back in my team again.” Jimin declared with all seriousness.

“No.” Director Kim declined curtly.

That seemed to twitch a muscle in Jimin’s jaw, but he kept his cool and continued. “And why is that?”

“Hmm, let’s see,” Namjoon feigned pondering. “Experimenting?”

“Stop this crap and switch her back into my team, Namjoon.”

“Is that an order, Jimin?” He glared down at the younger. His voice was deep with authority. “Do I take order from you?”

“Hyung.” Jungkook’s voice finally joined the conversation. He was referring to Namjoon.

The higher Director didn’t need to turn around to catch what Jungkook was intending to say. “I have a reason for this sudden change. It was not done for fun. It was done with careful observation and procedure.”

“Pray tell me the reason.”

“Your latest training session with the Associate Investigator of Special Class, (Y/N).”

Your body went rigid.

“What’s wrong with it?”

“I received complaints from Investigator Mingyu, Special Class, and Investigator Xu Minghao, First Class, that stated the same thing in which you had disturbed their scheduled training session with (Y/N),” he let out a heavy sigh before adding, “I know Jungkook was involved as well. Temporary restraining order has been put on him by me to refrain him from engaging with (Y/N) in any activity unless in public view.”

He continued. “You, however, were not given any restraining order because Jungkook insisted on taking the full blame, but I would hate it to let an accomplice get away freely,” Namjoon turned his gaze towards you. “That’s why I decided to remove (Y/N) from your team.”

He returned his gaze to Jimin. He could see the younger was burning with anger, it was detectable although Jimin was as great as Jungkook in using the art of concealment. They were soulmates, after all.

“Fret not,” Namjoon reassured. “You can do an appeal to request (Y/N) back into your team when Min Yoongi fucked up.”

Jimin was powerless in this situation. He knew. No matter how shit arsehole Min Yoongi was, he was not one to fuck up anything. Q Squad is the leading counter-ghoul squad in KCCG. Min Yoongi was known for his excellent skills individually and collectively. Each week, his team report was always the most impressive followed by Jimin’s team.

“Investigator (Y/N), you may return back to Yoongi’s quarter and proceed with your first team mission in your new team.” Namjoon dismissed you with a smile. His dimple poked through his cheeks. Your heart fluttered against your will. “I expect a good result by the end of the week.”

“Yes, I won’t disappoint you, Director Kim.” Bowing your way out, you walked back to Yoongi’s office. Along the way, you fought the strong urge to turn around because you felt the stares. For one, you knew it has to be Jimin’s.

Knocking on the door, you called out his name before coming in, headfirst. “Investigator Min?”

He has already started with his pile of paperwork. The room reeked of coffee from the amount of coffee he had consumed, and it was just 2 hours into the day. You stepped into the room and walked towards his desk.

“Oh, (Y/N),” Yoongi finally looked up from his paperwork and at you, but confusion was quick to wear itself on his face.

Shamelessly, he asked. “You just finished making up with Jimin?”

“Wha– No!” A blush crept up to your cheeks as you realised why he asked that.

Jimin smudged your lips a little while ago.

Flustered, you quickly looked for the handkerchief in your coat. You remembered you had placed it inside one of the pockets this morning. Excusing yourself as you continued rummaging in your coat for the piece of fabric.

When you finally felt the soft fabric of your handkerchief on your fingertips, before you could even grab it out of your pocket, a piece of soft cloth reached over to your lips, wiping off your lipstick.

“Took you so long to even find a handkerchief,” Yoongi said aloofly.

“I–I apologise,” your eyes looked at anything but his pale face.

Min Yoongi was a beautiful man. His porcelain skin was soft, his eyes dark almost to the colour of black, and his dark raven hair that looked soft and fluffy. He was like a doll.

A killer doll.

When encountering the ghouls, Yoongi was nothing per the delicate description, especially with all the blood on his hands and some that splattered on his face.

His duality was insane.

“Give me your hand.” Yoongi called on you.

A look of confusion was clear on your face, but he ignored it as he showed his palm, signalling you to put your hand on his. You obliged without any question.

Yoongi took out something from his pocket and in a blink of an eye, blood was drawn from one of your fingers. The pain finally registered in your brain as you shrieked and tried to pull back your hand.

He wasn’t letting you.

The pain was not very intense but maybe it would leave a deep wound cut. Instead of putting pressure or even bothering to be concerned, Yoongi brought your bloody finger to your lips. He dabbed your blood from your finger to your lips.

“That’s more natural, isn’t it?” Sadism shone in his eyes.

You were unable to do anything.

Yet again.

As if you were under a spell, you were frozen against your will.

Once Yoongi finished his little game, he released your hand carelessly. The handkerchief in your pocket was immediately retrieved and you put it over your bloody finger along with some pressure to stop further spill of blood.

Only now you realised he had cut your finger with his folding knife.

Yoongi brought the sharp metal to his mouth. Lips parting apart, he placed the knife on the pad of his tongue as he let the blood – your blood – transfer to his tongue. The wet muscle continued to glide on the knife until it was clean of your blood.

“Welcome to Q Squad. Get ready for mission in 4th ward.”

Unknown Feelings

Pairing - Kim Seokjin x OC

Warnings - slight mention of anxiety

Day by day, Jung Jisoo was getting used to the trainee life once again. It was difficult due to the gap, but continuous practice helped in increasing her stamina and endurance of the immense workout sessions quickly.

It was her routine by now to wake up early than the others, get herself ready, make breakfast with Jin, and then leave for the building.

Today was Jisoo's first weekend after five days of extreme rehearsals, she thought to reward herself with an extra hour of sleep.

The members were slowly waking up but the girl was still fast asleep.

"Let her sleep for some time more," Namjoon whispered as he folded the blankets. "She wakes up way earlier than us".

"Yah Yoongi, help me with the breakfast," Jin said with a yawn.

"Lead the way," Yoongi drawled out in a sleepy voice.

"Well someone's enthusiastic," Hoseok chuckled making Jimin snicker.

"Come on now, get your lazy asses up and be of some use," the elder mumbled.

"Let us sit for a while, hyung," Jungkook groaned and fell back onto his bed.

"You've been sitting for nine hours straight," Hoseok laughed.

"I'm still tired".

"How about we go somewhere today? Just hang out and have fun?" Taehyung questioned eagerly.

"Namjoon and I have to go over the songs once more," said Yoongi and stood up straight with quite a lot of reluctance.

"Hyung!" Jimin frowned. "Today is called a weekend for a reason. You can do that later as well! Let's just enjoy ourselves".

"We'll visit the Han River!" Jungkook suggested. Excited to go out and have fun after five long days of continuous training.

"And also a walk on the Dongho Bridge Walk," added Namjoon and smiled as he too wanted some relaxation.

"Alright then, clean up everyone," said Jin. "I'll wake Jisoo after some time".

Everyone got up and began tidying up their beds, while also picking up scattered belongings and returning them to their rightful places.

It was about 8:30 when Jisoo finally woke up. Grumbling softly due to her not being a morning person at all, she grudgingly opened her eyes.

Her bunk was next to the window and gave a wide view of the outside community. Soft sunlight was pouring through the transparent glass and reflecting onto her skin, making her body light up with a golden glow.

"Morning sleepyhead," Jin whispered softly as he watched the girl drowsily rub her eyes.

He let out a fond smile at her messy appearance. Her hair which was tied neatly in a braid before sleeping had fallen out and was completely tousled. Dark locks framed her face while also sticking out in every direction. Her eyes were still half-closed and mouth slightly open.

He went over to her and sat down on the bed. "Still sleepy?" He questioned and chuckled upon receiving a grumpy nod as an answer.

"I'm tired, Jin," she sighed and moved herself to rest against the wall, being mindful to not raise her head too high.

"I know, love. I know," he exhaled heavily. Wholly understanding the exhaustion, stress and pressure that was weighing her body and mind.

"Then let me sleep," she mumbled and felt him wrap his palm around her hand. A deep, amused chuckle reverberated in his throat as he moved closer.

"No no don't you dare close your eyes," he threatened, lips stretching to form a mischievous grin.

She groaned loudly and harshly swatted his outstretched hand away. "Begone".

"Don't be rude," he grumbled and rubbed the back of his hand where she had smacked him.

"Then don't test my patience. Let me sleep. Please," she muttered. Her eyes were on the verge of closing entirely.

"You've already had two extra hours of sleep. How can you still be drowsy?" He asked, feeling entertained by this.

"It's a skill," she replied. "The one thing that I excel at without even trying".

"Come on now," Jin coaxed as he rubbed her shoulders gently. "Breakfast's ready. We're planning to go visit the Han River and hang out too".

"You shouldn't be so good at convincing me," she muttered and rested her head on his shoulder, trying to get a few minutes more to sleep.

"What can I say, it's my speciality. Especially with the ones that I know really well," he laughed. Lips stretching and eyes crinkling at the corners in small but pleasing happiness as he ruffled her hair, making it messier than before.

His laughter died out at the lack of response and he looked down at his best friend in slight concern, but a snort escaped his lips at seeing her asleep again.

"What can I do with you," he mumbled and shook his head affectionately as he glanced back at her face. Tranquil, serene and relaxing expressions filled it. She looked too peaceful, too content for him to wake and disturb.

Back in the living room, the members were wondering what was taking the two so long.

"Did they drop dead or something?" Yoongi wondered as he considered heavily.

"Not her. I think hyung is definitely murdered," Jimin said with scary confidence.

Namjoon got up to check on them. He noiselessly walked towards the room and poked his head in, about to call them but closed his mouth at the view.

Their backs were facing him. Jisoo's head limply resting on Jin's shoulder. His arm wrapped around her, and it looked as though he was trying to pull her towards him each second even with their proximity.

Namjoon watched it and a smile slowly formed on his face, showing off his dimples. By then, all of the members had also gathered outside the room. All standing with grins on their faces.

Even though the boy and girl of the subject had no clue whatsoever, the rest all knew. It was that obvious. Not through the words no, but through the actions.

They all watched, only one thought running in everyone's minds.

This was indeed the start of a beautiful relationship. And God were they waiting for that day.

"Who knew you could cook so well," said Jisoo after finishing her breakfast. "And that too without my help".

"I'm not that useless," Jin muttered and rolled his eyes. "Yoongi helped me".

"I think it's the other way round actually," she retorted and chuckled upon seeing the smirk resting on Yoongi's face.

"Noona, have you ever seen the Han River?" Taehyung questioned.

"No, I haven't," she replied shaking her head. "When I was a trainee, I didn't get much time for myself. So visiting other places was out of reach".

"It's the best place when you need to cool down and de-stress," said Namjoon making her smile.

"Shall we go then?" Jungkook asked and the rest nodded.

"Let's have a blast," Hoseok grinned.

"Let's have a blast," Jisoo agreed, chuckling at his enthusiasm.

All eight of them were soon on the streets, on the way to their awaited destination. Everyone was decked in knee-length shorts and light-coloured shirts with bucket hats and baseball caps atop their heads. Namjoon and Jin had backpacks on them containing water bottles and other materials to pass time.

Everyone had agreed to start the journey by walking and then maybe taking a taxi somewhere later if they're tired.

"Let's take a taxi. I'm tired," Jin groaned and rested his palms on his knees.

"We haven't even walked for ten minutes yet," Jimin chuckled and slapped the other on the back harshly.

"But I'm exhausted!" He whined and smacked Jimin back in response.

"Hyung, are you really that old to get tired after walking for ten minutes?" Hoseok questioned and Jungkook, being the youngest sniggered cheekily.

But all he received was a glare and another whine.

"Oh, come here you git," Jisoo muttered and walked over to Jin. "I'll give you a piggyback".

Jin's face lit up immediately while the rest stared disbelievingly at her solution.

"You sure?" Namjoon asked. "It's still a long way ahead".

"Don't worry I can do it. He's as light as a feather. And if I do get tired, I'll simply drop him," she smiled sweetly.

"I'll make sure that you don't," Jin glared and wrapped his arms around her shoulder tightly as she hoisted him up and started walking like there wasn't a twenty-year-old boy on her back.

"Is he really that light?" Taehyung inquired curiously as he watched her carrying him effortlessly. It had been ten minutes and she hadn't even broken a little sweat.

"Nah," Jimin grinned. "Noona's just too strong".

Jisoo laughed as the two 95-liners kept teasing Jin about everything they could think of. But Jin just stared unimpressed and buried his face into her shoulder blades.

They were all walking silently, gazing around and taking in the surroundings as their feet moved. Some were looking at the trees that bore beautiful flowers, some scanning every shop to look at the menu there while others just looked around randomly.

"We're finally here," Yoongi sighed and everyone looked relieved to finally reach their awaited destination.

They crossed the road and in front of them were two pathways made of solid grey stones and on the sides were lush green bushes along with a few trees and short grass.

The rest smiled at Jisoo and Jungkook who were looking around in awe at the beautiful greenery that surrounded them.

"You two go stand there," Hoseok instructed and they looked at him in confusion.

"What? Why?" Jisoo and Jungkook questioned in unison.

"So we can leave you two there all alone and run away somewhere," he retorted rolling his eyes.

"He wants to take a picture," Namjoon explained, laughing at them who were still appearing to be clueless.

"Couldn't you have just said that before?" Jisoo asked with narrowed eyes but went over to the assigned spot.

She watched as Jungkook slowly walked over to her, his face bowed down in strange nervousness.

One day Jin and she were chatting when he mentioned the maknae's slight anxiety. And Jisoo understood, of course she did. She wasn't used to easily conversing with new people and Jungkook was just fifteen. He had that kind of feeling of being intimidated by his seniors.

The pressure of being the youngest and trying to match with the others was tiring. She tried to make small talk with him whenever she could, hoping that he would loosen up to her.

"Hey," she whispered so that only the boy could hear. "It's okay. You're fine. Don't be nervous yeah?" She smiled warmly.

To her relief, Jungkook gave a nod and stood close next to her, hesitatingly wrapping his arm around her waist. She laughed and put her arm around his shoulder, pulling him close and ruffling his hair in a sisterly manner.

"Say Bangtan!" Taehyung yelled and the two conceded and posed accordingly.

They heard the satisfying click of the camera and hurried over to see the picture.

Everyone smiled at Jisoo's ecstatic grin paired with Jungkook's bunny smile. Their hands formed gang signs above their heads as they posed. The fresh and leafy scenery behind them just added more beauty.

"Let's take a selfie," Jin suggested and handed over the phone to Namjoon who was the tallest.

Namjoon stepped to the right and held the phone high above to capture everyone.

"Hey! I'm not visible!" Jungkook grumbled and changed his position to stand in the front.

"Hyung you're blocking me!" Jimin whined at Yoongi who shared a mischievous glance with Jisoo.

"Not my fault you're short," he replied shrugging casually making her snort.

"Hey don't raise your hand like that! It's obstructing the masterpiece that is my face!" Jin scolded the maknae who snickered at the last words.

"I'm way more good-looking than all of you combined," he stated firmly.

"Oh yeah?" Jisoo challenged with her eyebrows raised. "I beg to differ".

Namjoon lowered his hand and looked at Hoseok who was sighing and shaking his head at their infinite complaints.

In the end, everyone was standing close to each other, their bodies pressed to get themselves pictured properly. Some were crouching slightly while the shorter ones were standing on their toes.

And finally, a very chaotic, lovingly obnoxious photo was captured. Despite the image being messy, it was one they cherished with their hearts.

"Great," Jin smiled in satisfaction at the outcome. "Who's coming with me to get some snacks?"

"ME!!" The maknae line yelled and quickly went over to him making the elders chuckle.

"Alright alright, calm down! Anything specific we should get y'all?" He asked and nodded at the food items told.

"Noona?" Jungkook called out to Jisoo who was standing a little far away from the group, looking at the early evening sky. "What do you want?"

"Jin knows it!" She yelled back as an answer and her best friend nodded in confirmation.

The four turned, walking in the direction of the shops and stalls while the other three wandered about randomly.

"Come on," said Namjoon as he beckoned her over. "We'll go sit near the Han River".

"Yeah let's go," Hoseok nodded, joined by Yoongi and together the four walked in silence, not wanting to break the rare but pleasant serenity that hung over them.

Once they were close enough to wholly see the Han River, Jisoo let out a small gasp at the scenery.

"It's beautiful," she breathed out in awe. Her eyes scanned every inch of the natural creation, taking in everything as though it would disappear if she blinked.

The Han River, a beautiful stretch of dark blue flowing as long as ever. The surface was calm and cool, looking quite unaffected by the worries and stress left by people along the shoreline. The late afternoon sun blazing bright, the rays reflecting onto the water and lighting the earth underneath with a glossy sparkle.

"Amazing isn't it?" Hoseok laughed softly at her amazed expression as they all leaned against the railing.

All Jisoo could do was nod her head. Not a single word came to her mind to describe this wonder before her, not a single phrase seemed to do justice to this breathtaking sight.

"I've visited this place so many times and it still leaves me speechless," Namjoon smiled and sat down on the soft grass, the others following his actions.

"Isn't it strange sometimes? That in this clear water exist our truths, our lies, our sorrows, our grief, our every emotion," Yoongi murmured as he too gazed ahead and sighed.

"I remember writing a poem because I had the exact thought years ago," she responded.

"You write poetry as well!" Hoseok exclaimed in surprise and she nodded.

"I can write songs just like that, but somehow I can never jot down poems," said Yoongi.

"Do you remember the poem? Can you tell us?" Namjoon asked, interested in this confession.

"I have it written in a book. I'll tell you when we get back home," she smiled. Her cheeks got a little flustered at his curiosity to know.

"Read it in front of everyone," Yoongi added. "Even I want to hear it".

"I just know the poem is gonna be amazing," Hoseok smiled warmly.

"Oh stop it now, you're making me blush," she grinned bashfully. A faint red painted her cheeks and some type of giddy feeling spread inside.

"THAT'S MINE! DON'T YOU DARE STEAL MY SNACK, JEON JUNGKOOK!" Jimin's scream interrupted their peaceful atmosphere.

"Can they be any louder?" Yoongi frowned as the stillness was replaced by commotion once again.

"What's going on?" Namjoon asked with a frown on his face at being disturbed.

"Hyung he stole my snack!" Jimin cried out, still trying to chase the rather speedy maknae.

There was at least twelve feet distance between the two when Jungkook stopped to poke out his tongue and wiggle it teasingly.

Jimin groaned as the swift fifteen-year old took off once more.

Jungkook dodged being captured easily, showing off his agile physique. He suddenly took a turn and ran over to stand behind Jisoo, using her as his human shield.

"That's weak," Jimin muttered. Giving up on this banter and sitting down to catch his breath.

But then he watched in disbelief as Jungkook carelessly threw the packet away and grabbed something else, not sparing another look at the thing responsible for Jimin's exhaustion.

"Why did you even take it if you weren't going to eat it?!" He grumbled as the others roared in laughter.

"Just wanted to have some fun," Jungkook shrugged as he started eating his food with a smirk.

"Remember something?" Jisoo grinned as she looked at Jin.

"Very clearly," he rolled his eyes, hoping for nobody to notice but of course he was wrong, of course the members would instantly perk up at something like this.

"What is it?" Taehyung asked eagerly, wanting to know the story.

"Once I had taken one of his snacks and had him chase me for half an hour," she laughed.

"And then you threw it after I accepted defeat and picked up a different one to eat," he muttered but a small smile could be seen on his face.

"Noona's going to tell us one of her poems when we get back to the dorm," said Hoseok excitedly.

"You write poetry?" Taehyung asked with a huge smile. He loved poems.

"Yeah I do," Jisoo answered at the same time as Jin said, "Yeah she does".

As Jisoo's gaze drifted ahead, she immediately took out a camera from her bag, capturing the different hues of the sunset that showed radiantly.

The sun was slowly setting down and all of the members strolled about to do their things. The air was again drowned in calmness.

Some were laying on their backs and staring at the sky, countless thoughts running through their minds as they relaxed.

Some roamed around to take pictures of everything that attracted their eyes, including them.

"It's nice isn't it?" Jin sighed as he lay down next to his best friend.

Jisoo hummed and smiled in agreement, not wanting to break the soothing silence by talking.

Jin turned his head, directing his gaze on her. He bit his lip and looked to be thinking deeply.

"I'm lucky to have you in my life you know?" He suddenly mumbled after a long pause.

"Where's this sentiment coming from?" She chuckled softly and turned around to face him.

He was sitting up, face bowed as he stared at his lap while fiddling with his fingers. A faint blush coated his neck and slowly covered his cheeks while his lips formed a small pout.

"Don't laugh," he muttered. "I just thought you should know".

She sat up and turned her whole body to properly look at him, " I already know that".

"Good. You- You're really important to me. Don't ever forget that," he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

Jisoo let out a hearty chuckle and wrapped an arm around his shoulder. "No need to be so awkward, idiot".

"Yeah yeah, I love you too," he laughed, resting his head on her shoulder.

"I didn't even say that in the first place," she frowned, trying not to smirk broadly at his flustered and equally exasperated expression.

"I hate you," he groaned, removing his head from its resting place.

"I love you too," she grinned cheekily and forced his head back onto her shoulder making him smile despite his frown earlier.

Unknown to the two laughing friends, a picture was quickly snapped by their members who were all smirking.

They took a taxi on the way back, not wanting to be tired after spending a long day on foot.

"Ahh," Jimin sighed as he flopped down on his bed.

"Anyone up for some hot chocolate?" Jisoo asked and smiled as she saw seven heads turn to look at her in unison.

"I take that as a yes," she laughed and quickly went into the kitchen to prepare.

Within ten minutes, everyone had a mug of hot chocolate in their hands, as they played around in the bedroom.

"Noona! Your poem," Namjoon exclaimed making Jisoo's eyes widen in recollection.

"Give me a minute," she quickly went over to open her suitcase and grabbed a black diary. "Got it".

But as she flipped over to the page and looked up to see them staring at her expectedly, she suddenly became anxious.

Numerous opinions came to her mind, most of them being negative.

"Jisoo," Jin whispered, gaining her attention. "It's okay. You hear me? It's okay".

She nodded, swallowing the nervousness and taking a deep breath as she began.

"Leave your worries by the shoreline,

And run your bare feet through the sand.

Let the water be a soft bed,

When you cannot bear to stand".

"Make friends with flying seagulls,

And hold the sun up on your palm.

Before you duck beneath the water,

Where the world is mute and calm".

"Tell the fish all your problems,

As they all come swimming past.

When your lungs are close to bursting,

Swim above the waves and gasp".

"Let the water hold your sadness,

And wash it right out to the sea.

So like a message in a bottle,

All your worries are set free".

"And the sea might make you feel alone,

But the world has troubles too.

For how else do you suppose,

The ocean got so blue?"

She looked up with a grin, glad to not stutter or stop while reading. But the smile soon slipped away after being met with quiet.

A trail of thoughts pushed their way into her mind, forcing her to believe the silence was no doubt a bad one. She wasn't always a pessimistic person, but right now her brain was overflowing with gloomy ideas.

A hug from Taehyung pulled her out of this, she was steered back to reality.

"It was beautiful," the boy whispered as he let go and looked up at her. She could see the clear awe on his face.

"Yeah?"

"Elegant in every way, Jisoo," Yoongi nodded, thoroughly impressed by the lines.

"I told you right, it's okay," Jin smiled and tugged her against him, leaning his head into hers.

"Have you written some more?" Namjoon asked, hoping she had.

"A few," she replied and saw his mouth stretch wide into a grin.

"You'll read them someday? Please?" Hoseok asked.

She looked uncertain but after the maknae line kept pestering her and starting a mantra of please, she agreed happily.

After some time, almost everyone was asleep except for Jisoo. She lay in bed, just staring at the barely visible ceiling. For once, there were encouraging thoughts that occupied her mind.

"Yah? Are you awake?" Jin's voice called out in a whisper, speech deep and rough due to sleep.

"Yeah," she mumbled back.

"Don't think so much. You were perfect, you are perfect. Don't you ever doubt yourself okay?"

"Okay," she replied, a grin painting her lips.

"Okay," he muttered back, a soft smile lingering for a few seconds before disappearing as sleep took over them.
