Random MHA Headcanons - Lego Edition (TDBKDk)

Deku and Bakugo definitely played with legos as kids

Deku actually completes the builds from the box while Bakugo creates his stuff from jumbled up pieces

Midoriya has a collection of hero Lego sets that he keeps in pristine condition at home

In fact he adds to it regularly (don’t tell anybody though)

When they were kids, Bakugo loved blowing these complete builds up and watching the pieces fly everywhere

Shoto catches Deku assembling a Lego set and of course joins in

He is immensely satisfied by the process of putting them together

Tddk bonding activities,,,,

You know Bakugo buys sets for them like a big softie

They also get a big bucket for Bakugo to fuck around with (he swears he’d never play with something so childish but he literally loves it)

That’s all I just really love the origin trio they’re my favorite autistic gays

Thinking about Lockwood and Lucy and how the show has been portraying their relationship compared to the books (as well as audience reactions) and it reminded me of that quote by Hayao Miyazaki:

"I’ve become skeptical of the unwritten rule that just because a boy and girl appear in the same feature, a romance must ensue. Rather, I want to portray a slightly different relationship, one where the two mutually inspire each other to live - if I’m able to, then perhaps I’ll be closer to portraying a true expression of love."

And if the show has done anything so far, it has portrayed these kids as not just, well kids but kids who have some serious issues:

Lucy "sometimes I just think I'd be better off dead" Carlyle

George "it makes sense this is how it ends" Karim

Anthony "everything ends and everyone leaves" Lockwood

They are literally in combat with death, all they ever do is fight for the living, how can they not find that same will to live in each other?

While I do find Lucy and Lockwood cute together, I hope the show doesn't rush things! One of my favorite things about the 35 Portland Row family and Lockwood & Co. in general is the fact that romance never seemed to take over making sure that the characters all felt at home despite the horrors they face.
