Another banger of a book!

Her hair is darker than I remembered, almost black, cut to shoulder length, and the bangs fall above her thick brows. Her olive skin is tanned and more radiant. Her almond-shaped eyes–inherited from her Colombian mother–took on a steady, intense gaze. Her full lips are thicker and broader–courtesy of her father's genes. Her facial features are defiant and alluring.

She doesn't have that bland classic Hollywood look, but an exotic and strong face. It's Sophia Loren's sex appeal combined with Audrey Hepburn's grace.

Zoe's blossomed into one of the most arresting women I've ever seen. She doesn't need that heavy makeup that makes her look beat up. Her attractiveness is so natural that I feel like complimenting her, but I don't. I just don't know what to say when she looks at me like that, like she owns me.

She comes closer and places a wet kiss on my face, lingering long enough for me to smell her scent.

She kisses right in the corner of my mouth, doing the same on the other side of my face. Two kisses like a mob boss in some God Father-type movie.

“I'm glad you're here, Sarah. Thank you so much for coming. I hope you stay long with us."

Zoe's voice is slurred, and her words are robotic and distant. She makes no effort to make them sound natural. She hugs me coldly, and it makes me sad.

"I'm happy to see you too, Zoe."

Strangely, I'm not lying. I'm happy to see my stepsister, even though I was expecting someone entirely different.

"It will rain today," she says to no one in particular, head up, facing the sky.

I immediately feel a drop of water dampening my cheek. She wipes it with the pad of her thumb and winks, flashing a sly smile.

Why there's no queer/lesbian books translated to spanish?

I have been search to more lesbian/queer histories in my language, but all I see its BL content, I don't hate, but I'm realy not into that

I recently read the "one last stop" from Casey McQuinston and I get attached to read more GL content, I search trough Google and the mayority of books arent translated to my language and that's kinda piss me off

¿You can't read English?

Of course I can read, I understand English pretty well, but reading in English gave me the headaches sometimes and I'm don't wanna deal with that RN

Besides, there's plenty of English slang (it's called that way?) that I don't understand

Recientemente termine de leer "una última parada" de Casey McQuinston y me quedé enganchada a leer más contenido GL, busqué en Google y la mayoría de libros no están traducidos y eso me desanima un poco

¿No sabes leer en inglés?

Por supuesto que sé, entiendo bien el inglés, pero leer en inglés me da dolor de cabeza y no quiero lidiar con eso ahorita mismo

además que hay mucha jerga en inglés (¿Se dice así?) que no entiendo

Is this a shitty cover for an otherwise GREAT book? Yes!

It’s the enemies to lovers I’ve been waiting for. It has the banter (such good banter), the flirtation, and the ice queen who denies her feelings (she can try but she won’t succeed).
