Part of me is like, what if some bullshit happens like, Dad!Miguel is all "oh yeah well if you have such a handle on things and think they can take care of themself without any support or guidance, what are they doing right now" and Miguel is all huffy and all FINE LETS SEE, IM SURE THEYRE FINE and goes to, use his monitors or whatever to spy on you and, you're having like a mental episode, a real crying session, some real boo hoo sobbing and maybe even cutting yourself as Miguel is "coincidentally" having an epiphany that, hey, maybe you DO need an extra mentor figure in your life... maybe he can... ask you about your day and stuff? Dad!Miguel over here ready to rip his hair out as he realizes your Miguel went through all the second universe stuff and is now an emotionally bottled mess and, in a way needs you as much as you need him

Whether to encourage his alternate or help you since you resemble 'his child', despite all awkward differences, Dad!Miguel sees that you're lonely and struggling and, kinda partially adopts you, becoming something of a mentor, checking in on you, scolding you to est something when his advanced hearing picks up on your stomach growling, making small talk, little things like that, but routinely, becoming a bit of a fixture in your life

Miguel turns his back and next time he turns around, Dad!Miguel is getting you gifts for your birthday and it turns out he regularly visits you. The original man's strolling through the lobby and suddenly he sees you with his alternate that he's really starting to hate and, are you speaking Spanish? Since when did you learn Spanish? Did he TEACH you? Have you been spending so much time together that the other him even had that opportunity?

YouTwo who's more unhinged than ever because their Miguel kind of "broke them in" to be their loving little child and doesn't handle either being replaced or losing the only loved one and source of support they cared about

Of course this is to say, it would DEFINITELY be "unfortunate" if you and Dad!Miguel got so, so close and, then suddenly the man dies and is violently ripped from your life just when you're starting to heal and be happy again and, suddenly you're so heartbroken and vulnerable and, THIS is the moment when your Miguel finally steps up to the plate to truly take care of you amd fully assimilate into your life. ❣️ I'm gonna have to list Cherry Magic and Cooking Crush again just because they filled me with so much serotonin lol. Bee then cautiously steps over Jon. 🥺 It's even more adorable when you remember that Jon said earlier in the episode (Stowed Away, Stowaways) that he always knew that Bee was good and that he wants Bee to join his team. Here’s my little take as a person who is now reading the Percy Jackson books. I’m halfway through book 3. Update I’m done with book 3 now on book 4

Reading the books kinda ruined the show a little for me 👀 I love the characterization of Ares and the pure rage he gives anyone standing close to him and I was waiting for Percy to feel that and be a smart ass to Ares and we never got that and I was disappointed 😭😭😭 (still loved he episode and the amazing acting from Leah & Walker.)

Luke pisses me off so bad 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m hoping for a redemption for him tho, maybe.

I know your ask is about Jinmin and I'm sorry that I'm about to delve into Jikook but this bomb gives me all the protective/special treatment feels.

What i noticed when I first watched this was, 1) JK would push Jin as soon as Jin pushed Jimin, almost like it was in retaliation for Jin pushing his baby. And b) JK never touches Jimin once. Not even after Jimin pushes him.

JK is so so soft for Jimin its just... its everything. It really is. This is one of the most boyfriend things JK does; be lenient with Jimin. I love to see it. I really do.

Sephiroth and Glenn are probably the closest, though they are constantly arguing. For as much as they yell at each other, bicker, and butt heads, Sephiroth secretly likes when Glenn gives him special attention, and inwardly covets Glenn's approval.

Sephiroth is also close with Lucia, as she seems to most outwardly vocal about the fact that he's still a kid with specific needs to be met. She tends to dote on him the most, easing some of Sephiroth's emotional void when it comes to maternal warmth.

Matt relies more on logic than emotion and there isn't that interpersonal closeness so much as a deep mutual respect between him and Sephiroth. Some of the lessons he imparts onto Sephiroth influence Sephiroth's personal battle tactics as an adult.

Sephiroth sleeps away from the trio most of the time whenever it comes time to call it a day. He always keeps his distance. Lucia pesters Glenn to invite Sephiroth over to roll out his sleeping bag next to them, as it's clear that the kid probably doesn't feel like he's truly part of the group. Sephiroth very happily accepts the offer.

Glenn brought snacks for the trip to the island, but he wastes pretty much ALL of them because he keeps giving them to Sephiroth to try. Sheltered brat's never had a potato chip. A tragedy.

Matt and Sephiroth work together to put hunting traps all over the island to keep the monsters away. 90% of this involves Glenn getting caught in them and the other 10% is Sephiroth freaking everyone out by suggesting that they eat what they catch.

It's an island. There's probably a beach episode. Just sayin.

Glenn sits Sephiroth down and explains the birds and the bees, since Sephiroth actually seems pretty clueless about the adult world. He then teasingly suggests that Sephiroth goes and hits on Lucia, even offering personal pickup lines. Sephiroth gets flustered and butchers the entire delivery, only for Lucia to quickly round on Glenn for trying to corrupt the baby.

Matt shows Sephiroth the more swampy areas of the island in order to record more data on the wildlife. They both end up catching frogs together for 90 minutes.

Glenn teaches Sephiroth swear words under the guise of this being "how adults talk". Lucia smacks him again.

AU where they collectively decide to just adopt Sephiroth and now he has three parents who love and adore him and nothing bad happens ever the end.

I forgot a moment to read your rules and specify… So sorry!😥 So I’ll ask again just to be safe. A short story about where Sun Wukong, a female reader, and MK riding on Wukong’s shoulders just as we see in the episode. Isn’t your son a bit old to ride his father’s shoulders?” And this is before the reader and Sun Wukong admit their feelings for each other, so it’s startling to be mistaken for a husband-and-wife with a son! Who would deny or play along? Will the others tease them for it? What’s MK’s feelings on this? (You don’t need to answer every question if it’s too overwhelming) I keep thinking about it, and now I crave the cute, funny and sweet wholesomeness! 🥺 Then afterwards, the female reader, who is, like, only 10 years older than MK asks, “Be honest… Do I look old enough to have a son in his late teens?” Again, sorry about forgetting to read the rules.💦

“Do I got something on my face or something?” Wukong asked, noticing you staring at him. You giggled in response and shook your head, “Nothing, it’s just…You guys look so cute right now.”

MK lowered his head down, pouting at you as Wukong simply raised an eyebrow at you.

“Huh, what do you mean by that?” MK frowned. You shrugged and continued to walk as you glanced at them one last time before your smile grew but then you focused on the task at hand, trying to navigate the big bustling streets of the Lantern City.

Wukong would briefly glance over at you, occasionally speaking up to tell MK to not squirm so much, and turning a bit red in the face as he watched you adore the city around you. The way the golden rays of light hit your face as your (e/c) eyes lit up as you took in the sight around you made him feel relaxed, perhaps after they save the world, Wukong would bring you back here to explore the city together.

Growl.

The sound made Wukong tear his golden eyes off of you and look up at the brunet boy on his shoulders, an eyebrow raised and a smile growing on his face. MK chuckled, clearly embarrassed, as he scratched the back of his head nervously.

“Sorry, I guess all this searching is making me hungry!” MK apologized. Everyone let out a chuckle until your stomach began to grumble as well which made you look down, “Huh, guess I’m hungry too. C’mon, let’s go search for a quick bite.”

Pigsy looked indignant and you quickly assured him that nothing could compare to his delicious noodles, luckily, Wukong managed to drag you away and organized a rendezvous point for everyone to go to once they finished finding wherever they wanted to eat before going off to the numerous stands that were teeming with business due to the liveliness of the streets. Eventually, you all found a suitable one and placed your orders, which were prepared rather quickly but looked just as appetizing all the same. So you all decided to walk back to your rendezvous point with your warm meals.

“Woah, be careful up there, kiddo.” Wukong warned gently, trying to steady MK who was hesitant to let go of Wukong’s shoulders to eat his bowl of noodles. MK apologetically looked down at his mentor, “Yeah, maybe noodles wasn’t the best choice. You can put me down if you want too.”

“It’s fine.” The golden-furred simian shrugged. Staring at him, you tilted your head a little: “You didn’t get anything, Wukong?”

“Yeah, I’m not really hungry right now.” He assured. However, you being you, you wouldn’t take that answer. Using the utensil given to you, you placed a sizable portion of food onto it before offering it too Wukong. He looked at you in surprise but assured you that he was fine, a glowing blush on his face but you appeared to be quite adamant. “C’mon, the great Monkey King needs all the energy he can get, right?”

Maybe it was because he was a little hungry or maybe because it was you but he ended up finally agreeing and opened his mouth to allow you to feed him. MK smiled at the sight, but soon all of your attention was turned to an elderly woman passing by with what appeared to be her husband.

“Um, excuse me, Miss, but isn’t your son a bit too old to be riding on his father’s shoulders?” She asked.

The shock on all three of your faces was evident. Much so that MK dropped his noodles onto the ground as he gawked at the woman. Your mind searched for an explanation but you couldn’t really find one that made sense. “Oh, we’re not a family. This is just my friend and the Monkey King and we’re just here on a mission to save the world!” Yeah, that totally wouldn’t make you sound crazy.

Wukong was the first one to recover and what he said next absolutely stunned you, “Thanks for your concern, ma’am, but he’s quite fine where he is. Isn’t that right, Sweet Peach?” He asked, using a lovey-dovey baby voice when referring to you as “Sweet Peach”. Your heartbeat began to race as you started figdeting with any loose piece of your attire that you could get your hands on, “Uh, yeah! I think he’s pretty okay where he is now!”

The lady only gave a skeptical look for a bit but then her face became warm as she smiled, "I suppose as long as you're all happy, it's alright. You all make a lovely family, by the way."

"Th-Thanks!" You shyly replied as Wukong put his hands on his hips with a proud, "I know!" as MK was unable to decipher how he was feeling right now. The couple walked away, leaving the three of you in a stunned silence for a while.

“Huh, I can kinda see some (Y/n) and me in ya, bud.” The monkey teased, making you elbow him as MK pulled his hood over his head.

Walking back, you seemed to be deep in though as was MK. Only the sound of people running up and down the streets preparing for the festival was the only thing that could be heard before Wukong spoke up again, “Hey, about what happened back there, I’m sorry for, you know, acting like we were a-”

“Oh, I didn’t have a problem with that!” You quickly assured him but then you trailed off, your eyes looking distantly elsewhere. MK piped up and frowned, “Then what’s wrong?”

“I don’t know…it’s just…Be honest. Do I look old enough to have a son in his late teens? I mean, I’m only 10 years older than you!” You frowned, looking up at MK.

Clearly flustered and wondering if he should answer this question, MK looked to the side nervously going “uuuuuuhh” trying to figure out an appropriate answer but Wukong, as quick tounged as ever, gave you a charming and soft smile.

“I think you look good no matter what.” He complimented, sounding more softer and loving than he intended too. You stared at him, that insecurity gone as you gave him a small smile before kissing his cheek, “Thanks….Wuukie-Pookie.”

“Anything for you, Sweet Peach.” He cooed back. MK gagged, “Um, I wanna come down now.”

“You’re staying right there, young man.”
