he would FIGHT with you over the check after you went out for dinner. like literally FIGHT and not budge when you propose to pay yourself, because you feel bad that he always, always pays for the both of you. you think you smarted him out when you invited him for dinner calling for you to pay but he has his wallet ready the moment you finish your food, telling the waiter the bill is shared and having his money out faster than you can look — it nearly enrages you every time, but he tells you he genuinely enjoys paying, doesn't mind it and wants to do it, so you have no chance other than letting it go (even if reluctantly).

he's so annoying he thinks it's PEAK commedy to say "no" to every single favour you ask him only to do it seconds later. OR saying no and waiting, actually not doing said favour and waiting for you to get annoyed until he'd nudge and end up doing it after all. giggles as if he's the funniest mf like he enjoys seeing you being annoyed so much. acts like this in front of friends and in public in general as well, ALSO cringes sm when you show him affection whenever on a get together though the moment the two of you are alone he literally won't be able to keep his hands off you. like he pretends to be so disgusted when you even as much as touch him in public, and the moment you're alone behind closed doors he's slouching onto you like a koala.

omg you can't tell me that he didn't invent the "no you hang up first" 😭 like you'd be coming to the end of a conversation (often while he's on tour or smth tho he literally needs to hear your voice every single day so he calls you like whenever he has a minute even of free time) and at some point he's like "aight hang up 🥰" and you play along and hit him with the "no you do 😆😝" and the quarelling goes back and forth (jokingly on your side, in ALLLL seriousness on his) and at some point you say goodbye for real and hang up AND YOU CAN BET THIS FUCKER CALLS BACK like all pouty and actually slightly upset that you had the audacity to hang up??? and you're like someone has to at some point we can't have an endless phone convo??? and he's like why not do YOU NOT LOVE ME???? yeah you get it.

bro this man NEEDS him to be your lockscreen on your phone. like it's an actual need of his or else he's gonna cease to exist he thinks. like you're obviously his wallpaper (both on his lock AND homescreen) so when he catches a glimpse of your phone and you dare to have just a random pinterest pic as your lockscreen, one you've chosen mindlessly altogether he RIOTSSSS. pouts as if his life is depending on it, clutches his heart as if it's gonna stop any minute, gasps and side-eyes you as if you straight up cheated on him. takes a selfie RIGHT that moment (it takes him a while because he both can't decide whether he wants it to be cute or sexy, and because he wants to look good either way) and sets it as your lockscreen instantly. checks like daily to see if you've changed it (if you did to tease him he LITERALLY is moments from breaking up with you).

he sends you pics of ugly looking animals with a 'you' attached to the message. like even if it has no resemblence with you altogether. like it'll be a fish, a whale, a bird, a funny looking dog and their all attached with 'you'. and like he finds it so funny even if you never react to it, in fact finds it SO hilarious that at some point he will send you pics of literally ANYTHING he sees ever — like furniture, tools, random fucking street lamps, you name it — with a 'you' attached to it and CACKLES as if he invented comedy himself. the bright side to it, he takes this to the romantic level and shoots pretty pics of flowers and sends them with the same 'you' attached to it, or pics of the sky, or of a particularly bright star. so maybe it's not that annoying after all.

Mmm...no real warnings in this one. There's like one suggestive sentence in it. But otherwise it's just our tough blondie struggling. Happy reading!

• "No...not this one."

• Bakugou muttered as he scrolled through Goggle. None of the pinks are matching. Right now, the blonde's currently looking through aesthetic pictures. Pink ones. Why? It's a surprise. For you, actually. After you dropped your phone out of the window 'cause Bakugou scared you, he pulled from his emergency funds and bought you a new one.

• (You keep telling him it's not his fault, but he shouldn't be poking your sides near a OPEN window anyway.)

• With you out shopping, and your phone case finally delivered. His plan was in action. The only speed bump is the screen saver. NONE of them match the case. Not one! They're either too light or too dark. Or-wait, wait...maybe this one?

• "No..."

• "Godammit!"

• Bakugou growled. That one didn't match either. He laid his face on the cold table. How is THIS the difficult part!? Feeling frustrated, (and kinda hungry) he stood up with a huff. Maybe he could just use a full color background? But...will that make it looked half-assed?

• "Hey, Bakugou."

• He recognized that voice.

• "Sup, Sero."

• The brunette strolled on over.

• "Nothing much,"

• "Just gonna go swing Kirishima around with my tape."

• He snickered, with his usual whale like smile.

• "He's waiting for me outside."

• "Wanna come?"

• The blonde shook his head. Not only is he busy, but that just sounds dumb. They're just gonna crash into something or someone.

• "No, I'm busy."

• Sero tilted his head.

• "With what?"

• "With this."

• God frickin dammit. Bakugou already knew who it was without turning around. It's Denki. (The dunce.) With your NEW phone in his hand.

• "Dude,"

• He snorted.

• "Is this yours?"

• Without a word, sparks began to pop from Bakugou's hands. What? He didn't feel like explaining. Quickly, the other "blonde" put the phone back on the table.

• "Okay...not yours."

• The hothead huffed and put out his hands. Now that that's over, back to finding a solution...

• "So, like,"

• Sero cut in, (startling the blondie.)

• "Who's is it then?"

• Bakugou stiffened. Damn, they're still curious.

• "None of your business."

• The moment he finished that sentence, he knew he f**ked up.

• "Did you buy this for Y/N!?"

• They shouted in unison. He blushed.

• "Not so loud, idiots!"

• "Wow, Bakugou,"

• Kirishima said, running his finger across all of the case's many details.

• "You really went all out for her."

• (Right now, all the boys are bunched in Katsuki's room. This matter is gonna be talked about in private.)

• Bakugou sucked his teeth.

• "Um, duh."

• "It was my fault, so I'm repaying her."

• The other two boys fought the urge to laugh. Does he for real still think they don't know about his relationship with you? Unfortunately, he notices their shoulders bouncing.

• "Something funny?"

• Everyone shook their heads. He's...gonna get to the bottom of that later.

• "Alright losers, since you're here,"

• He grabbed the phone from the fake redhead and turned it on, revealing his problem.

• "Help me with this."

• "Maybe...this one?" -Kiri

• "No man, that one definitely doesn't match." -Sero

• His friends are also struggling with the lockscreen. Bakugou groans, his face smushed in his blankets. Dammit. This is going in frickin' circles. He doesn't wanna do this, but it's time for plan G. He sits up and grabs his own phone. After a literal speed dial, he waits for a answer.

• "Hello?"

• "Pink cheeks, you better not be busy."

• All the boys watch silently, as Ochaco scrolls through photos intensely.

• (Bakugou planned on lying to her, saying it was for Eri, but the squad beat him to it. They made it sound real lovey-dovey and dramatic. And since she's a romantic, she was determined to help.)

• Kiri leans over to him.

• "Not questioning you or anything, but why'd you call Uraraka?"

• The blonde looks over.

• "She's a girl and she's close to Y/N."

• And...he really didn't wanna ask Deku. Again. The boys attention goes back to the brown haired dame. After what felt like, five seconds, (Hehe, I didn't say forever.) she finally stands up. She spun around.

• "I got it!"

• She nearly shoves the phone is Bakugou's face. He squints.

• "You're...sure?"

• Ochaco nods, beaming.

• "Absolutely positive."

• He sighs and takes the phone. He gives the phone a once over. Will you even like this? What if you already got a new one!? Deep in his thoughts, he doesn't notice the others staring at him. It's lowkey pretty sweet to see such a grouchy guy get all mushy over their friend. Bakugou suddenly snaps outta his trance, making everyone flinch.

• "Listen up,"

• He's in boss mode now. He looks over at Sero and Denki.

• "You two grab some wrapping paper,"

• To Kiri and Ochaco.

• "And you guys help me make this thing look presentable."

• Bakugou heaved a exhausted sigh as he stared at his door. When are you gonna knock? He left your new phone in your room and you came back. So why haven't you barged in and hug him until he's in pain? Maybe you don't like it...no. He's knows your favorite stuff like the back of his hand, there's no way you wouldn't like it. Maybe...like a man, he should come to you. And stop being such a damn wuss! The fiery blonde stood up and took a breath. He loves talking to you, why's he so nervous?

• He knocks on door lightly, hoping to not scare you.

• (Now that he thinks about it, he scares you alot.)

• "Hey, Y/N."

• No response. He raised an eyebrow. Are you asleep or something? Confused, he whips out his phone and leans against your door. You're probably hanging in Tsuyu's room again.

• (Yes, he's knows her nickname, but he just doesn't use it.)

• The door suddenly opens, nearly making Bakugou fall back.

• "Oh sh-!"

• Luckily, he does get caught, but in a pretty embarrassing way. Your painted fingers are digging into his chest and your knee is jammed into the back of his for stabilization. This isn't your typical "misunderstanding", but it still could invoke questions.

• "Uhg..."

• He can't think of anything to say. He's beyond embarrassed! You give a strained chuckle.

• (It's a miracle your still able to stand.)

• "Hello, handsome."

• Bakugou scrambles off you, red in face. He wishes he could defrost his face, but the feeling of your hands on chest is still lingering.

• "So, um..."

• The phone, dammit!

• "Did you see what was on your desk?"

• He said, sounding cool as ice. You looked confused and shook your head.

• "What, did you leave me something?"

• His blood froze. You didn't see it? In confused silence, he grabbed your hand and walked into your dorm. And sure enough, only the decorations were there. Now he's PANICKING. How is it not here!? No one could've taken it, only that one weirdo can phase through walls. So how did-

• In the middle of rifling through your desk, his hand bumped into the phone. You had squished it with a shopping bag. As much as Bakugou wanted to be irritated that something so priceless was almost getting broken, but he's just so damn relieved he found it.

• (It's a pity about the presentation, though.)

• You peeked from behind him, making him clamp it his hands. He can still make this a surprise!

• "Close your eyes."

• "Why?"

• "Just close 'em."

• He snickered. You ask too many questions. He grabbed your hand and turned it upwards. Slowly, he put the detailed device in your hand.

• "Okay, chuckles, open 'em."

• You did as instructed and look down. Your eyes sparkled.

• "Holy shi-,"

• You looked up at him.

• "Katsuki, did you buy this for me!?"

• The blonde blushed and looked off.

• "Well yeah. I'm the reason it broke in the first place-"

• He was suddenly cut of by a smooch. Followed with your arms tying around his neck. Before he could react, you pulled away and started peppering kisses on his cheek. Those tickle. Badly.

• "Hey, easy!"

• Someone could see! (Or he could start reacting to it.) You chuckled near his ear, making 'em turn red.

• "I can't believe you went and bought me a phone."

• "Guess when you feel guilty, you get SUPER generous."

• Bakugou grumbled in his throat. He wants to say 'only for you', but he did pay Kirishima back after the whole kidnapping thing. And do things other for people in the past... You kissed his nose and got off your tippy toes. You eyed the phone case, taking in it's details.

• "You even got me a cute ass case too."

• You kissed him again.

• "I love it, Katsuki."

• You said, looking into his eyes.

• "Thank you."

• And just like that, you made his heart spasm. Bakugou covers his face and turns away. His heart racing in his chest. He swears, someday you're gonna kill him with sweetness. He takes a deep breath and puts his attention back on you.

• "Come on,"

• He said, offering his hand to you.

• "Let's set it up."

• You smiled and took his hand. He leads you to your desk and you guys got started. This...is nice. Making you smile is the best. Even if it did put a dent in his savings.

• Little did the two you know, the friends that helped, are high fiving outside. Mission successful!

albedo

the type of person that says he will get a new phone case, but hasn’t changed his case in years. each case he uses is always stylistic and goes for an aesthetic that he is interested in at the time.

used to have a phone charm on his current one, but it broke off, and now there’s just a charm holder sitting uselessly on his case.

the case itself is gold with an alchemical rune on it. it looks fancy, but it was from a video game he played. it is niche enough where no one recognizes it, which is his preference, since he prefers not to draw attention to himself with flashy, pop-culture cases.

does not have a screen protector on. a few scrapes and cuts are on the screen, but you can’t see it unless it shines in the light just right. no one knows how he hasn’t shattered his phone yet.

he’s surprisingly clumsy with it.

lockscreen is an unassuming picture of him and sucrose. the homescreen is a van gogh wallpaper with a verse from one of his favorite poetry books. if i had to choose one, i’d say this rupi kaur poem. he edited it himself.

the poem itself is meant to symbolize his deep yearning for a connection with a person he considers a soulmate in his life. it’s important to him.

does not use any specific layout for his phone: all of his useful apps are out in the open, and the ones that came at factory settings are thrown into a folder for him to ignore for the rest of it’s lifespan.

has a lot of editing apps, art references saved in his photo album (and 70% of his phone’s storage is taken up by said photo album), and takes lots of screenshots of his conversations with friends or love interests over texts to show sucrose.

puts heart emojis in signature colors besides the names of people he actually cares about, like kaeya 💙 💙 💙 or sucrose 💚 🌼. but then you have the people he doesn’t care about. they sometimes get names. other times, it’s just “ginger man.”

bennett

cracked, shattered, ruined; it’s not even a phone anymore.

it’s a piece of metal he can’t replace and no one knows how he still manages to take phone calls with it, or get cuts on his fingers when he tries to text people.

probably always asks his friends if he can borrow their phones, but he’s had a bad track record of accidentally dropping the phones of his friends that he’s banned from touching them after he cracked three different ones, including kaeya’s.

he had the messed up phone for sooooo long, but then kaeya buys him an “indestructible nokia.” it is both a joke and completely serious. somehow, bennett still breaks that one.

has one of those flimsy, stretchy phone cases in a bright red, shitty plastic. no design or anything on it, just some faded-out stickers that he put on the corners that can no longer be deciphered.

wallpaper is a blurry picture of him on vacation with eula, amber, albedo, and aether. in the background, you can see a chaotic explosion of fireworks that does not look safe in the slightest.

used to have a lot of games on his phone like fruit ninja or temple run, but given he can no longer see or really fully use his screen, he can’t play them anymore.

all of his contact names are very plain and actually capitalized, like Kaeya, Razor, Amber, etc. there is no personalization to them whatsoever.

childe

the asshole that has an image of a cracked phone screen as his wallpaper just to shock people. he specifically does this after getting a new screen protector, there’s just something amazing about the way zhongli goes, “you just got a new one, and you’ve already ruined it?” that makes childe feel giddy with mischief.

phone case is blue and has his usual narwhal motif.

he doesn’t know how to put on phone charms, or that they even exist. but if he knew about either of those things, he’d have a whale charm.

lockscreen is either the cracked image just for funsies, or is a picture of him and his family. homescreen will always be one of the newest pictures of his siblings.

saves every single family photo sent, ever. the christmas photos from two years ago? he has them. the vacation they took together to fontaine back in july? those, too. he has literally every single moment on photo or video, especially of his younger siblings.

screenshots recipes off of google that he wants to try. most of the time he says he’ll make them, and sometimes he does.

all of his contact names vary. fucking dottore, haha short man, pretty boy <3, handsome boy <3, pain, and zhongli are all just some of the options. family members get nicknames and lots of hearts to show they are special.

It would be either my copy of So Long a Letter by Mariama Bâ or the Eye of Fatma pendant that my friend gave me when I was thirteen. They’re not worth anything in terms of actual money, but they were given to me by people I care about.

I would’ve loved to be a translator, but it’s one of those things where the publishing world in Paris is such a microcosm that you really can’t get a job without pistonnage (familiar way of saying nepotism).

Best compliment you ever received?

Someone told me that my story and writing drew them in so much that they forget these are just characters, and that’s definitely the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my writing^^

With Dennis, he'd be so eager to have pictures of you in his gallery like those aesthetic girlfriend material photos on Pinterest, and cannot wait to find the one to make it as his lockscreen photo! He'll definitely be speechless every time you'd go as far as asking a stranger to take a couple photo of the two of you, but it's the most pleasant surprised he'll happily accept!

For Jake, best believe he'll buy you the cutest stuffed animal there, like a whale or a lobster, and it's probably big as hell, too. But he cannot imagine taking you there without buying you a little something-something! Photos are a must too, but unlike Dennis, he is more than eager for pictures together; what better way to rub it in the face of his team, if not a whole photo album of himself with the hottest girl in the world?

In terms of Justin, he'd be the right person to tell you all the things he know about the marine life! Eagerly telling you the origins or even the most random facts that could make you giggle, all for the sake of your approval or affection. Whether it's the sparkles in your eyes or the cheek kisses everytime he was able to list a fish's scientific name, he loved the date just as much as you did!

I'm not entirely sure about Eddie or Ralph but knowing you, I'm sure you'd have an idea or two about them ;)))

You nailed it bestie.

He is all about taking those pictures of you. He brought his phone, his digital camera, and a disposable film camera. He wanted to cover all the bases. When you do ask for pictures of you both, he's trying so hard to not mess up the pic. You insist that he couldn't mess it up, he relaxed a little. You had to make him laugh to get a good genuine picture of him smiking, but it was worth it. You have his picture as your lockscreen.

He absolutely wants a picture together everywhere you go. Of course he takes pictures of just you, but he really wants to be in the photos too! He makes a mini photo album of the trip and everything.

This sweet baby is a nerd. I love him. He wants to read all the little panels, listens intently to the tour guide, whispers facts to you about them, and just has a far out time. You buy him a little squishy stuffed animal of his favorite animal— the sting ray. He sleeps with it in his bed.

This chaotic bean would have a lot of fun. He loves watching everything move, he listens very well to the tour guides or speakers when they say something interesting. He would only take a few pictures, mostly of you, but you get him to pose in front of the tank for a really good picture. His favorite baseball band tee hugging his sturdy frame, his hair illuminated by the boue light of the water, his legs crossed at the ankles and his arms braced on the handrail behind him as he leans. It's your favorite.

Would run off in excitement and nearly get lost. But once he learns not to run off, he'd still as excited but he clutches you. He is afraid of the sharks. Almost refuses to look at them, but he does. He earns a kiss for being so brave. He also romances you near the big tank, nearly reciting poetry about how beautiful you look in this light, how lucky he is to have you, how much he loves you. You both share a sweet kiss when everyone else clears out.
