I wasn’t gonna even write anything about this blip that we are currently having in 2020, but the world has gone panic mode during pandemonium. For those who have been living under a rock, yas people, it’s a Covid-19 post.

COVID-19, CORONA, RORO, THE RONA (and various other alias’)

Ahhh the virus that’s trending world wide right now. A respitory disease thats killing thousands, causing pretty much everywhere to go on lockdown. I know it’s everywhere right now, so I’m not here to relay everything going on. Besides it’s different all over right now. China’s coming out of lockdown and the UK are still fuming we can’t go have a pint in the local 😂😂😂

But one thing we could all be sure was going to happen was the conspiracy theorists creeping out of their corners of the dark web to bring more mystery to the mystery. From Simpson’s predictions to prophets, resident evil to politics. This virus has just about taken over everything that we call life.

WHY DO WE NEED TO STAY IN?

I mean, in all honesty, we don’t trust our government. We can sit here and speculate as much as we’d like about how this is all a plot to control us.. but the truth is we’ll never even know. The rest of the world is either in lockdown or at a point where they can come out of it. The UK government didn’t want to I force it because long story short, they are greedy bastards and don’t wanna spend anything from their budgets. It’s only recently that the UK is actually starting to take this shit serious. We’re social distancing in order to prevent the disease from spreading. Helping keep the pressure off of our hospitals and medical staff, yet, because we’ve been told we can go outside to exercise people are just abusing it. Like for real, when did y’all start jogging? And since was it necessary to go outside to exercise? People just stopped doing home work outs?

Staying at home is the best chance of getting this lockdown over and done with. It’s irritating I know, but if this shit was air born y’all wouldn’t have the fucking choice to even sit in ur back garden let alone go to the shop so why the fuck y’all moaning? Our grandparents all lived through war and shit and we’re here like mehhhh we have to stay in for a couple weeks for our own health 😂😂 these times there’s people in prison just wishing they could be at home for any length of sentence 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

Use the time to learn a new skill, get to know some people. We live in a digital age where we are literally the push of a button away from speaking to each other. We are ALL in this position together whether we want to be or not. Everything’s locked off, nothings happening so just fucking get on with it 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

STOP PANICKING AND START TAKING ACTION BY SITTING YO’ ASS ON THAT SOFA 🤷🏽‍♀️

For the People in Lockdown who have strict parents [or just having a difficult time]

As a person who is stuck in a situation where I am in 3 week lockdown with my strict parents, I have to say its going t be a difficult three weeks.

To keep them happy I am working hard on my essays and assignments but it is harrowing when you want to dress a certain way and your parents/family just disagree. [I have come back from university for the lockdown so I am missing the freedom I had]

I have continued to wear what I want to wear [for reference: some days I wear pastel goth, and emo along with vintage styles which they are more approving of] and I have received quite a bit of backlash and it has been affecting my mental health.

I just wanted to let people know you are in the same position as me or worse. We can ride it out, we can make it through the three weeks/quarantine time, and my family doesn't really understand the mental health and disorder I have.

All the help lines are still active [as far as I am aware] and it has been a struggle even getting through this first week. I have cried more times than I have in day than I did last month. I have been under enormous stress to keep both myself happy and my family. I do care deeply for my family but it is difficult to go from an area where you are free to be yourself with no judgement, back to an area where you can no longer be as true.

Please stay safe. And for those in lockdown like me if you are in a worse position than me you can still get out of there and go somewhere else that is safer. I am counting own the days when I can escape to my boyfriend’s house again.
