⭐️ Various Library Pins ⭐️
Once again, as a library employee I implore you to utilize your public library. Other then books they have a ton of free resources; including websites to watch movies, listen to music, and listen to audio books for free! Plus they usually have fun classes and activities. Libraries are the best.

When your punk, queer mom lived/survived through a chunk of the AIDs crisis, and then decided to put this pin on your baby romper just to watch the little old bigots who had a problem with me being a (assigned) girl while wearing blue simply vanish upon reading.

Here's another Space Ace redesign concept for Kimberly
My art is basically going through another ugly-phased puberty, so take it with a grain of salt.
Also I'm just going to describe my thought process a bit.
Alright, so on the surface I sort of have an issue with the costume and aesthetic design of the original arcade game. It just seems to go with the usual themes Don Bluth is used to, with a slight presence of future and space added to it. In my head, taking more inspiration from atompunk rather than a passing glance might just make everything feel less underdeveloped (as the game's whole story just seems like piling up random scenarios off the top of the writer's heads and adding game mechanics to it as an afterthought).
Also not to mention that Kimberly is literally just Princess Daphne with red hair design-wise
So, to avoid any confusion between the characters, I changed up the body type. Despite the previous point, I still relatively kept her face for two reasons
I changed a lot about her and I would still like it to be identifiable as the same character
Because 'Space Ace' is considered a part of the Dragon's Lair Trilogy, I think that sort of implies some sort of universal connection no matter the intention. Also, I just take that either Ace or Kimberly is the future great-great-great-great grandkid of Dirk and Daphne to justify this connection (As both have a couple visual similarities to the two). The reason why I mainly think Kimberly is their descendant is because it's shown at some point in the Space Ace comic that Dirk and Daphne come to Kimberly and Ace's wedding, but stay on what I assume is Kimberly's family/friend side. (Also Don Bluth once drew a sketch of Ace hitting on Daphne, so I would hope they're not related) (And yes, while I don't consider the comics canon, that's sort of the only ounce of evidence and explanation to the implied connection between the two)
Also because of point 2, I tried to incorporate some Dirk themes in there with the head-covering and hair floof sticking out of it. (Although the head piece is also there to push the hair out of the way, and has an atompunk influence as well)
Anyways, I tried my best. Hope it's okay.

Speaking of Eddie, I had gotten this exact jacket a while back and it feels like I'm wearing nothing! it's light weight with nice pockets, it stays out of the way and it gives the vibes of Eddie without the expensive buy of merch! The side panels look like they need some pins so my next post is gonna be a set of pins that you can get at a lower price that will allow for cute styling! Buy away!
