Lady with a Unicorn, inspired by the classic Dama col Liocorno ( Young Woman with Unicorn) by Raphael .
I’ve always loved this bizarre painting, where the tiny unicorn looks a bit like a lamb, and a bit like a poodle. In my version, I’ve added a castle and extra greenery to the background. In medieval European art, the unicorn is sometimes used as a symbol of chastity in romantic love... yet, I’ve always felt that the woman looked a little impish under that demure expression, and she has an orgasmic flush to her cheeks.... Maybe that’s why the unicorn is giggling, because he knows what’s reeeally going on.
