That was an eventful two days
#I had a better time at the Waterparks concert#Noah was great#buuuut#I was on the barricade#I had my cousin hold onto my spot while I grabbed some merch and he didn’t hold onto the barricade so when I got back there were like three#rows of people in front of me#tall people too#and I got a ticket for my friend who wound not being able to go#and my brother who took us didn’t wanna go so I completely wasted $25 on a ticket#and it just Sucks that I spent so much money on ticket and got there super early just to be shoved way back when I LITERALLY had the front#there was this rude entitled lady who made everyone move for her son#he only knew tx2 but stayed up front the whole time#(she also took a spot right on the barricade too)#I was just really upset about how it didn’t go according to my plan and I kind of had a panic attack. like. a really fucking long one#and I had my vip bag + merch with me and everyone was stepping on it (no one was even playing?) and they fucked up my poster#but yeah I pretty much had a 2 hour long panic attack my ribs hurt now from hyperventilating (leaving the pit wouldn’t have helped)#the vip part was still good#I met Noah again he remembered me he did great it was just the people around me#oh I also like fucked up my knee#but that’s cause two concerts in a row hurt I think someone kinda accidentally kicked in a mosh pit and the first venue the ground had a#slight tilt to it. so it was kinda uncomfortable after a few hours#Waterparks#noahfinnce#concert#tx2#music

"This is a very very special show," Harry said as he stood by his mic stand, "It's not only the last show here at LA, but it is also my daughter's first concert ever," at this, the crowd roared in screams and cheers, "She's right over there with her mum," he pointed at the VIP box of the arena, just to realize that no one was there, "Wait, she's not there, did she get bored of the show already?"
As the crowd laughed at his joke, he scanned the crowd again looking for his wife and daughter, only to spot them at the front of the barricade, his little girl waving at him frantically.
"There she is!" he cheerfully said, a huge smile appearing on his face, "Hi baby, I see you. Are you enjoying the show?" he got closer to them, bending down to press a small kiss on the girl's head, "Oh no! You can't take that, daddy needs that to sing," he said when he realized that the baby was grabbing his mic, trying to take it from him, "I guess she loves the stage already."
The crowd went absolutely crazy over the interaction, recording it and taking pictures that would make the internet go crazy too.

Daryl Dixon • She/Her Pronouns • The period between the farm fire to the prison, no one talks about enough. Granted, why would you want to remember a time you felt extremely useless when helping the ones you love? • ANGST/SFW • TW: Illness / Anxiety

When you’re a little kid, watching the snow fall from your bedroom window was always an exciting thing. School closes…you get dressed in warm clothing…and you run outside to build a snowman or have snow ball fights with the neighborhood kids.
Well
This time didn’t have that feeling.
Waking up to find out that it snowed over night, lead the group in the house they were in—-to slightly panic. Rick needs to get his wife and son warm. Hershel needs to get his kids warm. They need to scavenge more for warmer clothing. Daryl needs to hunt whatever he can to provide for his family. There was a lot that needed to be done and Daryl didn’t wait to start hunting for whatever game could be lurking within the neighborhoods they hopped through.
Every new place they moved to, Daryl left for about an hour to go look for dinner. Even if it’s a bird. He’ll take anything. While Glenn, Rick, and Y/N took care of scavenging the houses for anything that will help them warm up. Leaving Maggie and Carol to start the fire and secure the places they lived in for everyone while they were out. Everyone had an assigned job during the winter.
But then there were down times…
“Y/N, hun, you don’t look too well” Hershel commented on her weak and pale complexion as she worked on a can of beans she found opening it for Carl.
The doc stating such caused everyone some alarm, if one of them were getting sick they’d need to be careful not to as well. But to also not lose said someone. Which was the thought that instantly coursed through Daryl’s mind.
“I’m fine, Hershel” Her voice was hoarse as she watched the concerned looks from Rick and Lori which made her get up from her spot to isolate herself. “Imma lay down”
“I’ll check on yea every hour. Just so you don’t get worse” Hershel frowns pulling his daughter Maggie aside along with Glenn and started discussing items that he will need that will most likely be in the medicine cabinets of homes surrounding them.
That when Daryl noticed the two get up after talking it out with the old man, he got up himself heading over to Y/N while removing his poncho.
“Oy, sit up” Daryl gave Y/N a look as she was confused but knew he wasn’t asking.
Y/N slowly sat up letting Daryl put his poncho on her and adjust it to cover all of her. He knew he would leave after check on her to find her a blanket or two that weren’t part of the surplus that Rick was hogging for his pregnant wife and son.
Daryl didn’t know much of how to take care of someone because no one correctly took care of him. But he knew by pressing the back of his hand to her forehead was to check for fever…and she was a bit warm. Least not the scary kind that yknow…turned people into walkers.
“Movin’? Again? Y/N is sick we should stay put a while”
“Daryl’s right, Rick. Not just that but we shouldn’t move too much for your pregnant wife’s sake as well”
“I found a house with a fire place. One not damaged by herds or human negligence. We can start a fire in that so it can remain ablaze while we slept at night.” Rick informs the two knowing their concerns. “We’ll be careful with moving the two. But I believe we can hold up most of winter in that house”
“If shit happens, it’s on you” Daryl states both of what he and Hershel were thinking as it wasn’t a good idea to move when the winter is getting even colder.
The Grimes took lead toward the house with the Greenes following behind them. Daryl currently carried Y/N in his arms as she was wrapped in all the blankets the archer had found her. While Glenn and Carol watched their backs.
Once everyone was in this new house, Rick and Glenn got to work on barricading the bottom floor’s doors and windows so nothing and no one could come in. Especially the snow. While Carol took care of sweeping the second floor before helping Daryl get Y/N situated in the one bedroom on the first floor when everyone else huddled with each other in the main room.
“Carol can yea—-“
“I’ve got the window” Carol went to barricade such while Daryl carefully placed Y/N down in the bed readjusting all the blankets she came with. “I’ll go get one of the can foods we brought from Glenn. See if she’ll eat”
“Okay…can yea get the thermometer thing from Hershel while you’re at it?” Daryl frowns watching Carol nod before she left to go such.
Daryl went through his pack to take out his canteen and opened it for Y/N, helping her take a sip of water. Even if she coughed a bit after such.
“Gotta get yea to eat somethin’ before I go out again”
“Be safe” She whispers snuggling herself into the blankets as Daryl brushes away the loose hair in her face.
After checking her temp, which hasn’t changed, and got her to eat a bit of the canned corn that Carol found, Daryl stepped out of the bedroom grabbing his crossbow and pack about to head out when Glenn shot up from his seat.
“Cool if I go with you?”
“Mhm” Daryl gestures toward the door indicating he’s leaving now.
The two set off to track what Daryl has been trying to find for a week. Hopefully a deer. The tracks were clear but it could’ve gone far that they can’t catch up. While Daryl kept his mind on the tracks, Glenn’s was elsewhere.
“Can’t believe she got sick man. That’s gonna be a difficult situation if it gets worse”
Silence
“If Maggie got sick. Boy I wouldn’t leave her side”
Annoyed silence
“If she gets worse, Rick might have us ditch her like we did Jim—-“
“SHUT THE FUCK UP” Daryl snaps in Glenn’s face as the yell echoed through, startling a few birds but most importantly…the deer he’s been tracking. Glenn had zero time to register what happened as he quickly drew his rifle and instantly aimed at the deer shooting it.
The silence grew between them when Daryl went to check and make sure the deer was dead dead by finishing the job, before tossing it over his shoulders. He turned toward Glenn watching him anxiously hold the gun looking at Daryl with an apologetic look.
“I know you care about her, Daryl…I’m sorry for rambling about it. It’s just..”
“Scary. It’s fucking scary!” The archer snaps again, this time with a bit of regret. “I’m trustin’ Rick with everythin’ he’s doing. But if it comes to that? I’d kill him on the spot if he makes me leave the woman I care about”
“Woah. You’re scarier than I initially thought…but same. If yknow…it was about Maggie”
He couldn’t help the laugh that escaped him when Glenn scrambled to say such. It was soon followed with a sigh as the two started their way back “home”.
“Hershel has been giving her cold medicine. Hopefully it works”
“It gets her to sleep. That’s all that matters for now…until we move again and she’s still sick”
“Well…if it makes you feel better, we haven’t had a walker incident” Glenn quickly ran over to a house knocking on the wood. “Knock on wood. We should be safe in the place we are in until the end of winter”
“Hopefully she gets better before then” Daryl states feeling Glenn pat his back in emotional response.
When the two returned “home”, Daryl prepared the meat for Hershel to get cooking on the makeshift stove they made in the fireplace. He got all the meat prepared so that he could clean himself up before taking the can of water off the brick near the fire so it was hot enough for the tea Carl found in the previous place before they left. He had heard from Hershel that tea could help so before they left, he searched the kitchen and found a few boxes before handing them to Daryl.
Daryl made his way back into the bedroom listening to the soft snores escaping the woman he cares so much for. He sets the can on the nightstand putting the tea bag in before bringing himself to sit on the edge of the bed. He knew he closed the door but he still glanced over in case someone had followed him in…he didn’t want what he was about to say to be heard by anybody but her.
“You better get better” He’s not very good at this.
“Just. Stop being sick.” Daryl scoffs a bit fiddling with his hands. “I don’t like yea when yer sick…granted never really seen yea sick” he’s REALLY not good at this.
Then a sudden giggle escaped her. Making Daryl freak slightly as he thought she was out cold. Guess she’s also a light sleeper like him. More things they have in common.
“Yea awake?”
“Am now” She whispers keeping her voice low and not using it much because her throat hurt. “You made tea?”
“Mhm! Uh. Want help?” Daryl asks watching Y/N emerge slightly from the blanket pile as he picked up the van holding it up to her lips helping her take a sip. She gently rest her hands on his wrists letting him help her but touching him in case she needs him to abruptly stop.
“thank you” Y/N smiles a bit through the grogginess and a bit of the sick pain. “you were saying?” She wanted him to continue what he was saying as his face suddenly flushed.
“I uh—-“
“It’s ok. ‘M getting sleepy again..” Y/N gently rubs her eyes as Daryl sets the can down lifting the blankets for her to lay back down before he covered her. Noticing how she would get comfy in his poncho first before the blankets.
“Holler if you need anythin’” Daryl whispers to her watching her nod but before he even got up, she grabbed his shirt.
“Can you stay?”
And no more words were said as Daryl moved to bring himself to lay down on the other side of her once he placed his crossbow on the other side of the bed. In case of emergencies.
At first the man laid on his back staring at the ceiling while Y/N faced away from him sound asleep.
Next Daryl closed his eyes as Y/N moved to lay on her back.
Then Y/N curled up into his side hiding her face toward the bed while Daryl leaned his head toward her.
Finally, Daryl subconsciously wrapped himself around Y/N as she had moved one of the blankets to cover him while she snuggled close to him. Enjoying every ounce of warmth the man emitted.
The click of a Polaroid camera was heard in the morning but it wasn’t loud enough to stir Y/N. But enough to get Daryl to glare at Maggie, Glenn, and Beth that were documenting the soft moment. Beth forced the camera into Glenn’s hands blaming it on him as she left quickly. Maggie carefully set the photo on the nightstand before quietly and quickly getting out of there with Glenn as he gently closes the door behind him. Daryl would later figure out that they only came in to check on him and Beth had found a Polaroid camera in the other room but wanted to join the two on checking on them.
Daryl sighs toward the three before looking down at Y/N who was still fast asleep through that all. He gently presses the back of his hand against her forehead no longer feeling the overwhelming burn that indicates a fever. Still a bit warm but not too alarming. He sighed once again feeling better that she was starting to get better.
The archer was about to get up, when he was tugged back down by the woman he loves. He situated himself to get comfortable again…letting her get situated in his embrace. He didn’t care if she was sick. He wasn’t going to not enjoy this moment.
“Yknow I care about yea deeply right?”
“Mhm…I care about you too” Y/N smiles against his chest knowing he wanted to also say the other thing, so she emphasized her words bringing her as close as humanely possible.
Y/N was still sick a few more days but the symptoms lessen as they went by. She didn’t even have to isolate at one point. When she was well enough to be around others, they had given the room to Lori so she would be more comfortable in a bed instead of a couch.
“Here” Daryl handed her another can of tea since the glasses were broken as he situated himself right beside Y/N. Letting her lean against him as the smallest touch made the butterflies flutter in his stomach. Making him smile out in the open toward her as she occasionally drank her tea.
“Look at what I found” Y/N whispers to Daryl showing the Polaroid taken a few days back as it made him blush looking at it. “I think it’s a keeper”
“Don’t need a picture when I’ve got yea right here” Daryl whispers to Y/N making her own blush appear as she tried to hide it behind the picture when looking up at him.
“True…but imma keep it anyway” Y/N smiles setting the can down and taking the journal out from her bag to put it in for safe keeping. Before grabbing a blanket that Daryl instantly took to cover her shoulders but she adjusted so that one half is covering him as well.
“Yer the one still recoverin’”
“Yeah but I’ve got my personal heater” She winks at the archer making that smile of his break through.
“Fine…bundle up closer then” Daryl whispers as Y/N did exactly that enjoying all it.
All of the warmth

🕸️   It took everything in her body to not trip over the cracks in the pavement outside of her apartment building; her throat burning from both the cold and the amount of breathing she was doing as she raced towards the door.
Hands shaking as she struggled with the rusty lock, her ears pricked upward at the noise of a blood-chilling shriek, and she knew that they had spotted her again.
She was getting sloppy on her supply runs and even though she knew this, she wasn’t exactly known for having the best balance even standing still, let alone grabbing supplies from the blood-stained shops.
Letting out a small cry of relief, the door finally came unstuck, and she slammed the door shut; turning around just in time to see a small group of people slam their bodies into the thick glass door.
Their eyes bloodshot, their mouths always open and drooling, all of them agile despite whatever their human health state was like.
“Fucking arseholes,” she whispered as she tried to ignore the groaning and the screaming that was just behind a single glass door.
Dashing up the stairs, she kept her apartment key ready in her hand, anything to just be a little safer that much quicker.
“I am alive,” she called out, her breath halting for a few seconds as silence followed her announcement.
“You sound terrified,”
The deep voice made her flinch and she turned to see her best friend sitting up on his elbows, his eyes narrowing on her face and taking in her shaken form.
“Why didn’t you wake me?” he jumped over the back of the sofa and quickly gathered her up in his arms, “safety in numbers,” he added pulling back so he could look her in the eyes.
“Felix, you were sleeping, and I didn’t want to wake you up,” she replied feeling a little bashful under his gaze, “it’s been so long since you had a good night's sleep and I’m not going to wake you up for every supply run just because you think you’re okay when you clearly aren’t,”
She pouted when Felix chuckled and pet the top of her head with affection, enjoying the softness of her Dalmatian ears.
“You’re right,” he agreed surprising her quite a bit and she tilted her head to the side; the two of them making their way to the seating area, “lay with me?”
Felix helped her move the heavy backpack she was carrying and held his arms out to her, knowing fully well that she would never be able to refuse such an action.
“Evil,” she mumbled before quickly joining him on the sofa, head buried in his chest as a blanket was thrown over them.
“Maybe so but you love me,” he giggled at the scoff that was replied and he squeezed the hybrid just a little bit more out of sheer love for her, “I’m glad you’re safe,” he added quietly as he heard a loud scream coming from a floor above them.
Must be Miss Lorn’s boyfriend...finally turned Felix thought with a shudder as the screaming continued a little more before it slowly became quiet with a loud gurgling.
“Me too,” she whispered gripping the fabric of his shirt for comfort, “maybe...maybe we should barricade the door today,” she added upon hearing the rather disturbing scrambling of hands scratching at the floorboards from above.
“I’m on it,”
                                    ‧˚₊꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒦꒷‧₊˚⊹
Even though the world had gone to shit, the internet seemed to still be working.
Only on select days of the month it seemed but working none-the-less.
Felix had been trying to get in contact with his best friends ever since things really started to go downhill; she could see his heart breaking every time the phone calls cut short or when they simply weren’t even working.
She had only met one of Felix’s friends and that was a man called Han Jisung.
An introverted man who was shy and anxious a lot of the time but bloomed the second he was comfortable with you.
She always had had a soft spot for Han and had enjoyed his company very much whenever he’d visited Felix, the two men extremely close thanks to their birthdays being one day apart.
She had assumed that Han would’ve been the first one he would try to get in touch with but apparently there was another man from Australia that he was the closest too.
“Still nothing?” she asked quietly as she eyed Felix, who was leant over his laptop with a very exhausted expression on his lovely face, “Lix?” she pushed gently when silence followed her question, and he looked up slowly with a sad shake of his head.
“I don’t even know if they’re safe,” he whispered trying his very best not to cry, “Channie-hyung is tough but his kindness is the thing that will get him in trouble...people will take advantage,” he closed his laptop and rubbed his face harshly; leaving red marks on himself.
“Minho-hyung is tough and no nonsense, but playful and kind...I guess he’ll be the one who would be around the longest,” Felix picked at his nails, and she knew that he was just talking to vent out his anxiety; so, she stayed quiet and nodded, “Changbin-hyung and Hyunjin-hyung live together, so I think they’ll be alright but Changbin is loud and a hot-head sometimes,” he pulled at his thick brown locks, “Hannie....” he seemed to be particularly stressed when talking about the slightly older man.
“Hannie is smart, and I think his anxiety benefits him...he’s not that great with social situations unless we’re with him so I think...I think he’ll be hiding in his home or with Channie-hyung...they’re super close,” he took a deep breath and turned to look at her for the first time since his ramble.
“Seungie and Jeongin are the youngest of our friendship group but I believe that they are together, I hope they’re together,” he whispered, “I believe they’ll be okay but they get overwhelmed easily and I just don’t know what to do!” he finally broke down in tears and she rushed towards him; pulling him into her chest and stroking his hair as he sobbed into shirt, gripping the back of it so hard she thought it would rip.
“I will help you find them,” she squeezed him tightly and kissed his forehead when he eventually looked up, “I will find them,” she knew it was giving him false hope, but she couldn’t stand to see the utter distress upon his face.
“I don’t want them to be hurt,” he whimpered as his face turned a bright shade of red due to his crying, “I love them,” he bit his bottom lip nervously before smiling ever so slightly when she bumped her head against his affectionately.
“I know you do,” she replied looking at the front door at the sudden sound of screeching, which caused them both to bolt towards said door just in case they had to hold it shut once again.
“How are they still in the building?” Felix shook his head, voice still wrecked because of his crying.
“I don’t know, I thought I had gotten rid of them all on this floor,” she eyed the peephole and felt her stomach drop at the sight of them running down the halls; clearly on the scent of something and she hoped it wasn’t one of the poor pets in the other apartments.
“Might be newbies,” Felix sighed heavily, “I still think it’s to do with the water around here,” he added making her shrug.
“Could be, I haven’t been using any water for drinking that didn’t come out of a bottle,” she confessed, “bad for the planet but so is this virus,” she continued making Felix laugh.
“Same here,” he confessed as they moved away from the door and back towards his bedroom; shutting the door behind them.
A rule the two of them had come up with in case their front door was knocked down during the night, they would still have a barrier between them and the zombies.
Sleeping together was also another safety rule they’d made as they’d be able to 1. hold the door better with two and 2. have more chances to fight the zombies off if, God forbid, they got in.
Plus, they were just scared to be by themselves.
“Have you tried to call them?” she moved to his side on the bed and cuddled up with her arms locked around one of his, chin on his shoulder.
“I think using phones is going to be pointless,” he puffed a big sigh out, “fucking thing hasn’t been able to connect a call in about,” he paused, “three-four weeks,”
This news came as a surprise to her as Felix hadn’t even mentioned this to her.
“Three-four weeks?!” she gasped, and he nodded, “oh Felix,” she almost cooed at his saddened expression, her fingers gently brushing his hair from his face so she could look at his dark brown eyes.
He, in turn, looked back at her feeling quite hopeless, his head pushing forward so their foreheads were together.
“I have you,” he whispered closing his eyes, “so it’s not all bad,” he felt his face flush red at the sudden confession, and he moved away from her, eyes darting to the grey carpet of his room.
There was a short silence that followed his statement.
She would be lying if she hadn’t picked up on a weird atmosphere surrounding the two of them lately; not that she hated the feeling, but it was just a little strange.
Felix was always a touchy person; often pulling her into cuddles for most of the day or just petting her ears as she curled up beside him, kissing her forehead or cheek whenever he felt particularly soft.
But recently the cuddles had become longer and tighter, the kisses had become more frequent, and his lips lingered.
Even she had become aware that she was also being a lot more affectionate with Felix; even brave enough now to kiss him back on several occasions.
She considered the man a forever packmate, even though she didn’t have a pack in the first place.
Maybe she was confusing simple pack-love with romantic love? She wasn’t too knowledgeable about Hybrid pack lives, having been brought up with a Human family since birth.
Shaking her head furiously, startling Felix in the process, she cleared her throat and threw herself down onto the bed, pulling the covers over her body.
“We should get some rest, we need to go on another supply run soon,” she faked a yawn and made sure to face away from him as she tried to figure her thoughts out but still pushed backwards as Felix joined her, arm thrown around her waist protectively.
It was annoying that her tail was wagging.
Fucking traitor!

Don't Be Late - Mafia!Joel Miller Imagine
Mafia!Joel Miller x OFC
Rating: M (smut)
MNDI. 18+ content.
Summary: Joel had no intention of being late for another dinner, some idiots firing bullets at him weren't going to stop him.
Part of my Extended Scenes Collection of Without Warning - Mafia!Joel Miller Series
AN: This was supposed to be cute and funny, but ended up taking a spicier turn...oops.
Tumblr media
Joel was terrified. Not because of the handful of men shooting at him currently. Not because his backup was still eight minutes out. Not even because he’d already been grazed by a bullet in his side. No, he was terrified thinking about what his girl’s gonna do if he misses one more dinner date.
“Joel, just sit your ass down and wait for us,” Tommy snapped over the phone, “Four minutes and we’re there, don’t do somethin’ stupid.”
“You don’t understand, Tommy,” he tried to insist, glancing around his current barrier to try and spot the shooters’ locations, keeping his voice low as he held the phone close, “She might actually cut my dick off if I’m late one more time.”
His brother scoffed over the line, the car’s tires screeching in the background. “It’s six to one, Joel and you’re already injured, stand the fuck down.”
He chuckled, never being one to take orders well. That’s why he became his own boss after all, so no one could tell him what to do, including his little brother. “Six to one? I like those odds.”
He hung up the phone, sticking it in his pocket before taking a deep breath, gripping his gun tightly before standing up, revealing his location and moving forward with the practiced precision of a military unit. He hit one upon standing and then a second after taking cover behind a table that had been tipped over.
When he came to the warehouse this evening, looking for an inventory list, he didn’t expect to find the door unlocked and men, who were not his own, inside. They had guns, of course, and started firing upon hearing him. He’d barely had time to duck behind one of the vehicles that had been inside. That’s when he called Tommy. That’s also when he saw the time and a sliver of panic ran down his spine.
He didn’t know how many men there were in the beginning, not taking the time to count when they started firing. Tommy must have logged into the security system from his phone.
The third fell to the ground when Joel leaned around his current barricade. There was a slight pause. They were out of bullets. He took the opportunity and fired two more perfect kill shots, the bodies hitting the floor simultaneously.
By the time he clocked the last one, the coward was already trying to run, only to get knocked out by Tommy’s appearance, snagging the man by the shirt and throwing a hard punch. Joel smirked, glad his brother knew to leave him alive.
“I thought I told you to sit your ass down and wait for us,” Tommy grumbled, assessing the room and all the dead bodies scattered around.
“And I thought I told you I have somewhere to be right now.” He glanced at his watch and swore under his breath. “Keep that one alive, I’ll come back tomorrow to deal with him,” he said, digging for his keys in his pocket.
“Joel-.” Tommy tried to stop him.
“Clean this up too, I don’t want the iron smell to stick,” he added over his shoulder, jogging out the door, too caught up in making it home within the next five minutes.
His brother rolled his eyes with a smirk. He didn’t understand what Joel was so scared of. She was like, what? Five feet, three inches? How scary could she actually be if he’s a little late to dinner?
With a shrug, Tommy started directing the guys he’d brought who were supposed to be Joel’s backup on where to dump the dead bodies.
“Jesus, he took out six big-ass dudes on his own…with just a pistol?” Daniel, one of their own, said with a shake of his head in disbelief.
“I heard he took down fifteen dudes on his own, one time,” Matthew piped up, helping Daniel carry one body to the waiting tarp they’d laid out to avoid more blood stains on the floor.
Tommy rolled his eyes. “He took out damn near fifty on his own in the Salt Lake City Job,” he added, passing the guys with a smirk.
Meanwhile, Joel was driving like a bat out of hell, swerving around other vehicles on the highway as he kept anxiously glancing at the clock on his dash.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he kept muttering to himself with each passing minute.
He came to a screeching halt in front of his house, taking the steps two at a time and barging into the house. His breaths were labored from rushing as he quickly went in search of his wife to prove he was in fact, on time for their scheduled dinner date. With her getting busier with school this time of year and his erratic schedule, they realized quickly they needed to start actively working on setting time aside specifically for them.
“Baby? Baby, where you at?” he called, going into the kitchen first to grab some water.
“Whoa, why are you yelling?” she asked, appearing from the game room, where he now realized he could hear the TV in there playing some reality show.
“I made it on time, told you I wouldn’t be late,” he said, grinning confidently.
She tilted her head with a light scrunch in her brows, looking confused. “Late for what?”
His expression fell. “We’re supposed to have dinner tonight…right?”
She laughed with a shake of her head. “That’s tomorrow, Joel, oh my God,” she said with an amused eye roll.
He blinked once, twice and then pulled his phone out to see his calendar did in fact have nothing scheduled for today with her.
He groaned. “Fuck, I musta been lookin’ at the wrong day, I’m sorry,” he sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration.
“It’s okay, Joel,” she said sweetly, coming up to wrap her arms around his neck and pull him into a soft kiss.
“You’re not mad?” he asked, those dark brown eyes making her internally swoon.
“I mean you’re not late, yet, so there’s nothing to be mad about,” she shrugged, kissing him again before taking his hand and leading him upstairs.
“We doin’ this right now, baby girl?” he asked, assuming she was going to their bedroom, grabbing onto her waist and giving her hips a squeeze.
She scoffed, rolling her eyes. “Maybe later, handsome,” she said with a smirk.
“So where we goin’? I could go for a smoke after today,” he said, happily following her through the house blindly.
“You’re bleeding,” she said simply.
“Huh?” He glanced down, remembering where he’d been grazed by that first bullet and finding a smear of blood spreading across his shirt where he’d been hit. It was just big enough to where he knew he’d just have to throw out the shirt, there was no recovering it with how quickly the stain grew as they moved into the bathroom.
“Shirt off. Sit.”
He smirked, her assertiveness always making him a little excited. “I like when you give orders,” he said with a lopsided smirk, his eyes trailing her form as she brought out the first aid kit.
She giggled but chose not to indulge him by responding just yet to that comment. “How’s the other guy look?” she asked softly as she started cleaning the wound.
“Dead.”
“Good.”
“Doin’ somethin’ for you?” he teased, squeezing her waist as she applied a bandage over the wound, thankfully not that deep.
“You know it does,” she said without missing a beat, glancing up at him through her lashes with that coy grin.
“Fuck, baby girl,” he groaned, pulling her against him as he leaned on the bathroom counter, shirtless, dark jeans dirty, smelling so uniquely like Joel.
He knew what he did to her, just like she knew what she did to him. Bringing his thumb and forefinger to her chin, he tilted her head up, kissing her hungrily, a primal growl rumbling in his chest against her body, sending a spark of thrill down her spine. She loved when he got like this.
“Gets you off knowin’ your man’s a killer, doesn’t it? Makes this pretty pussy so wet thinkin’ about all the bad things I’ve done, ain’t that right, sweetheart?” he crooned down at her, her eyes growing darker with every word.
She whines faintly in her throat, biting her lip. “Joel,” she sighed, clinging to him, his voice lulling her into the state of mind he wanted her, relaxed, aching, submissive.
“Answer my question, baby,” he said lowly against her jaw, using his other hand to lace through her hair and tilt her head back roughly, earning another eager whine from her.
“Yes, yes, I love it,” she gasps, eyes already closing, that wicked grin making his cock twitch in his pants.
“I know you do, baby, you’re a little fucked up in the head, just like me,” he chuckled darkly, “But aren’t we all,” he added before leaning down to kiss her again, fisting the roots of her hair to secure his grip and keep her just how he wanted.
He picked her up by the back of her thighs, groaning slightly in pain when her leg brushed his freshly bandaged wound. Setting her on the counter, he immediately tugged her shirt off, throwing it to the side without a care, his hands rough and warm on her chest, tweaking her nipples and squeezing her breasts.
“Always so pretty for me, baby girl,” he groaned into her chest, his mouth latching onto one of her nipples while he continued toying with the other.
She moaned, her thighs hitched onto his hips, her fingers blindly reaching to undo the buttons of his shirt. As Joel continued to toy with her body, she worked her hands between them, feeling his length strained behind his pants.
“No,” she said, sounding breathless, when he went to shrug his shirt off. “Keep it on.”
He smirked knowingly. Something about the bloodstain most likely had her brain all foggy with some dark fantasy only he could fulfill. She definitely kept him on his toes.
“Take it out,” he said assertively, leaning back from her, watching her expertly undo his belt, unbuttoning his pants and dragging the zipper down until she could reach in and feel how hard and heavy he was, the faintest damp patch on the front of his boxers from his own budding excitement. “See what you do to me, baby girl, got me addicted to you, just thinkin’ bout it gets me hard,” he groaned as she caressed and groped him through his boxers.
“Feel,” she purred, using her other hand to bring his fingers over her panties, the material much more wet with her essence. “All for you, baby. Gonna do something about it?” she asked, sighing as his fingers moved the material aside and immediately slid into her heat. “Fuck!” she cried, caught off guard by the sudden intrusion but loving the stretch all the same.
He chuckled darkly, bringing his free hand to her throat, squeezing the sides. “So fuckin’ wet for me, baby girl, could slide right in no problem,” he groaned.
She nodded against his hand, slipping her hand past the waistband of his boxers and gripping him firmly. “Do it,” she encouraged him, jerking her hips up against his palm, “Fuck, please, do it.”
Yanking her panties down her legs, Joel pushed his own pants and boxers down to his mid-thigh, squeezing the base of his cock with a deep groan. She was already starting to drip onto the counter by the time he nudged the head in, sighing at the familiar warmth he could never have enough of.
“More,” she whined softly, leaning back, trying to scoot her hips forward.
He smirked, squeezing her throat again. “Bossy, tonight, aren’t we, baby?”
She huffed, obviously frustrated. “Yes.” She groans when he slips in another inch. “I want it all, Joel, please!”
“Hush now, baby, I’ll take care of you,” he soothed her, finding her little fit amusing. “I always do, don’t I?.”
She’s panting, squirming against him, desperate for more. “You’re teasing too much,” she grumbled, pouting.
He chuckles. “That’s funny comin’ from you, sweetheart.” He suddenly thrusts the rest of his length into her, reveling in how she cried out for him, her nails instantly digging into his forearm.
He begins to thrust roughly, a slow and steady pace that has her gasping out every breath, the slow torture just enough to satisfy her need as he worked her to orgasm. Those little noises had his cock twitching as she latched onto him.
“Feelin’ good, baby? Got quiet on me,” he choked out with a cocky smirk, her walls beginning to squeeze and flutter around him as she got closer to her end.
“Yes, yes, yes…so fucking good,” she nodded, pulling him down by his neck to kiss her, a wet and messy display of need.
He hummed in satisfaction against her lips. “Come on then, gorgeous, soak my cock, be a good girl and make a mess on me.”
“Joel!” she moaned, her thighs squeezing his sides.
She brushed the bandage again with her inner thigh, unintentionally of course, but it was just enough pressure to have Joel groaning, a strange combination of pain and pleasure that had him teetering on the end much quicker than he anticipated.
“Oh, f-fuck!” he grunted, erratically jerking into her until he came with a heavy groan.
He hadn’t even realized she’d also come, her walls still spasming as he rutted weakly into her, the tip of his cock quickly becoming very sensitive as she squeezed him with her release.
She was breathing hard, head leaning back on the bathroom sink mirror as she looked at him with a lazy, satisfied grin. “I love you…”
He grins, ducking his head down to kiss her softly, bringing his hand up her neck and into her hair as he deepened their kiss with a content sigh against her lips. “I love you too, baby, always.” He pecks her lips, helping her off the counter as well. “Can I burn this shirt now?” he asks, walking with her back into the bedroom, her laugh echoing around them as she agrees and helps him start a fire in the small pit in the backyard.

Chapter I
I stare at the long line of bodies ahead of us in agony but also excitement.
“We should’ve come earlier,” Kya complains.
“I know but I didn’t want to camp. That’s too much,” I responded, cringing at the thought.
“Whatever we’re already here,” she says, agreeing with me. “Hold our spot for me I’m gonna go look at the merch.” I give her a quick nod and she heads towards the shorter line. In the meantime, I look at my phone scrolling through my Instagram feed. Okayy Hoshiii. The line continues to move forward at a slow but steady pace. I look around for Kya hoping she’s coming back soon because she doesn’t have her ticket with her. The line gets a little bit quicker and just as I am about to message her, she is standing right next to me huffing and puffing.
“You okay?” I ask laughing.
“Bro that line was no joke, I barely got out in time.”
“I know, I was starting to get worried,” I replied seriously. We go through security, check-in and then head to our barricade spots. We stand there for a little bit before the stadium goes dark and the concert begins.
Tumblr media
The concert is nearing the end and ‘Very Nice’ starts playing. The song gives the crowd that last little bit of energy to make it to the end and everyone is jumping along to the beat. All of the members are running around the stage interacting with different fans getting everyone hyped. I see Woozi, so I wave hoping to catch his attention. He waves back and thankfully I got it on video with my phone in my other hand. He walks away towards the other side of the stage, admiring the crowd around him.
A little bit later in the song they all come down to interact with the fans. Woozi comes to my side and takes my phone to take a picture with me. The song ends and he goes back on the stage to say goodbye, but the never ending loop of ‘Very Nice’ starts. Everyone is excited, wishing that the concert didn’t have to end soon, but they still enjoyed the moment.
The concert ends and everyone begins to leave. I start to put away some of my stuff but then I realize I lost my phone. I look for my phone around the barricade, asking the people passing by if they have seen my phone, but no luck. I then also realize I lost my friend in the big stampede of people leaving. I start to panic not knowing what to do, but then I realize that Woozi still has my phone from when we took a picture together.
I stick around a little bit longer hoping I can find a security guard or someone to help me get my phone back. As I’m calming myself down I see a figure walking towards me in all black. I recognized the figure as one of the security guards and he approached me telling me to follow him. I do as he says and I’m taken backstage to Seventeen's dressing room. Woah wtf I wasn’t expecting to be back here. I slowly start to freak out in the back of my head, but I try to keep myself as calm as possible on the outside. I see Woozi and he gives me my phone back.
“Sorry for taking your phone, I was really in the moment and forgot that it wasn’t mine or the staff’s,” he says apologetically.
“It’s fine,” I say politely.
“You want to eat with me, Wonwoo, Minghao, and Joshua as an apology gift?” He asks.
“Sure,” I say, smiling calmly, but still freaking out on the inside. I went to eat with them and surprisingly we had a good conversation and nothing was awkward. My friend texts me wondering where I am because it has been a while since we lost each other and we both need to get home. Meet me in the stadium, I text back. I say goodbye to all of them, but before I leave Woozi stops me.
“I need you to keep this a secret and tell no one that you were allowed back here, not even the family or friends you trust the most,” he says seriously.
“Okay, I promise. I don’t want you or any of Seventeen to have any controversies.”
“Thank you. Enjoy the rest of your night, and I am sorry about keeping your phone.” he says with a calm face.
“Same to you!”
I start walking back to my seats to meet up with Kya, but then my knee starts to hurt. My leg starts to give out but the person who was walking past me rushes to catch me before I fall. I look and it is S.Coups. Oh Shit.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah I’m fine,” I try to walk again but my knee is still not right.
“You obviously aren’t, let me help you.” I reluctantly accept and wrap my arm around his shoulder. He walks me back to the seats and sets me down.
“Thank you,” I say nervously.
“Do you need me to get anything for you? Is your knee okay? Why were you back there anyways?” he asks hurriedly.
“No. Yes. Woozi.” I answer simply. He straight faces me, so I guiltily elaborate, “No I’m okay, sometimes this happens because of a previous knee injury. Yes my knee is fine. And I got authorization to go backstage because Woozi accidentally took my phone.”
“Okay well thank you for the explanation. Do you need help getting to your car or anything?” he asks.
“No, I'm okay. I’m waiting for my friend.”
“Oh well I’ll wait with you. How did you like the show?” he asks with a smile.
“It was so good. You guys did great!” I said to him. We continue in a calm conversation, but I see Kya out of the corner of my eye. I get up and pull him with me and I push him away. I speed walk as fast as I can back to Kya after my knee failed me earlier.
“Hey!” I guided her back out of the stadium, making sure her focus was ahead. I look back at S.Coups seeing his confused but calm face. I pay no mind and keep walking, inherently keeping my promise to Woozi.

Eddie smut please!
I’m thinking a fic based on the song sex from the 1975. Eddie and the reader are best friends and used to hang out every day until she got a boyfriend which Eddie is SUPER jealous of.
💕
Took me a second to get to this one, but I wanted it to be REALLY GOOD bc I love The 1975 and I love Eddie and I love you for being so supportive. 🥺❤ Also let me just tell you, I had SO much written and my phone died so I lost ALL OF IT. But we're back. We're trying again. Fuck.
I decided I love this prompt and I'm gonna make a series of this one specifically lmao. Once again, sorry it took so long. I almost gave up writing entirely after I lost my progress. 😂
She's Got a Boyfriend, Anyway.

It was the same routine everyday ever since you two met six years ago. You and Eddie spend every day, after school and weekends together. Aside from Hellfire, you're each other's only friend.
"Do you know Billy? Hargrove, I think?" You innocently ask, not thinking much of it.
"Hargrove? Yeah, guys a fucking dick." Eddie quips.
"I dunno, he seemed pretty sweet to me." You twirl your hair around your finger, watching the trees zoom past you as Eddie drives you both to his house.
"Oh, come on, Y/N. Don't tell me you're falling for that fake pretty-boy bullshit again." He laughs, referencing the fact that you dated Steve and got your heart broken within 5 months.
"Of course I'm not. I'm just, curious. He seems really nice, to me." A smile can't be helped from finding itself on your face.
"I'm nice to you. Why don't we just fuck in the back of the van right now?" Eddie furrows his brow dramatically, faking confusion for his perverted jokes.
"Shut up, idiot. I'm serious. I need your help picking out an outfit. He asked me out today." The last part of your sentence causes Eddie's smile to fall a bit. He may have hidden it behind an immature joke, but he was being serious too.
"Why would I know what Hargrove wants you to wear? What's wrong with the way you dress?" He questions.
"I don't know, man. I just want to look a little different. I don't want to look like-"
"A freak?" Eddie raises an eyebrow in an I see how it is fashion.
"No, I just want to look clean-cut. A little bit less like all I do is smoke weed and listen to music."
"But that is all you do." Eddie teases as he pulls into his driveway. "And if you want my fashion advice, my first suggestion is to stop stealing my shirts." He points to the worn band shirt draped over you. You roll your eyes and follow him to the front door of his trailer. Eddie's uncle is laying on the couch, looking a little pale.
"Wayne? Take the night off?" Eddie checks in. Wayne explains he's feeling sick so he took today off to recover.
"Hey, let's just hotbox the van. That way it doesn't get all smokey in here while Wayne's not feeling well." Your suggestion earns a thumbs up from Wayne. You've always been considerate like that, something he and Eddie both appreciate about you.
In the van, you climb past the seats, settling into the pile of blankets and various snack wrappers from when you and Eddie camp outside of concert venues for those barricade spots. Eddie follows close behind, eyes fixed on you as you get comfortable, kicking off your high tops and grabbing a magazine to flip through.
"You think Cyndi Lauper is like... Freaky? Like in bed?" You ask, still looking down at the bright red-haired woman's avant-garde makeup.
"She definitely either likes to be slapped around or likes to slap you around." A large, ring-clad hand takes the joint from his mouth and passes it to you. His jewelry catches the dim light of the back of the van.
While you hit the joint, Eddie flips through his many cassettes. He finally settles on Metallica's Kill Em All album, popping it into his radio. He relaxes into the moment, staring at you as he did every day for six years. He's slowly starting to figure out why it's his favorite past time, but for now he's just happy to be your friend.
"Do you think I should take my nose ring out for my date with Billy?" Your question shakes him from his daze and the mention of Billy's name causes his jaw to clench.
"Why would you do that?" Eddie's upper lip twitches in disgust. "He asked you out looking like this, why would you want to look different now?"
"I don't know, dude. I'm really fucking nervous." You cover your face with one hand, dragging it down. You're lying on your stomach, flipping through the magazine while your thoughts race. "He's coming to get me at 6 PM tomorrow." Eddie passes you the joint in a manner that says "shut up."
"Listen, can we change the subject? You're gonna make me sick." His voice comes out a little meaner than he intended, but he's too awkward to know how to fix it. Your eyes widen and you attempt to soften the tension.
"You're right," you laugh. "I tend to ramble a lot." Your face is flushed slightly with the tiniest hint of embarrassment because you didn't mean to get carried away. Noticing your shift, he wants to punch himself in the face.
"Uh, here! Let's smoke two joints and see who smokes theirs faster." Eddie shoves a joint between your fingers.
"You're on, Munson." You wait for him to finish rolling a second joint and you both lean into one lighter so you start smoking at exactly the same time. There were other lighters, y'all just aren't that smart.
As each of you pulls on your joints to get the cherry started, Eddie looks up from the flame, directly into your eyes. It takes a second for you to notice, but you look up, meeting his gaze. He doesn't move or blink, so you give a small smile around your joint. You lower the lighter after a second, having sufficiently lit the joints.
The contrast of the lighter going out shakes Eddie from his trance. The rest of the hang-out was casual and nothing short of your usual day together. Talking about sex, drugs, music, and occasionally DnD. Hours pass before you finally check your watch.
"Holy shit, Eddie. It's 10 o'clock!" You jump up from the soft blankets in the van. "I gotta go, I have to go to sleep soon or I'm gonna look dead tomorrow."
"Hop up front. I'll take you home." Eddie offers as if it's not your only way of getting home. The second you get in your door, you drag Eddie to your room.
"Please help me pick out an outfit, Eddie. It'll be so fast." You tug on the sleeve of his leather jacket. He rolls his eyes and hesitantly agrees. You scramble through your closet looking for something with the least amount of rips and tears. "What about this?" You hold up a dress you've never worn because it's periwinkle and you're not with it.
"A dress? Y/N, seriously?" Again, meaner than he intended. You once again did that thing you do when you're embarrassed and just try to smile the blush away, agreeing with whatever is being said to you.
"You're right, you're right. Um-" It was apparent in your voice that you were getting angry.
"Hey, Y/N-" Eddie attempt to meet your downcast eyes.
"Eddie, you can leave because I can tell you don't want to do this. I know you don't care about the date, and I know you hate Billy, so it was kind of shitty of me to ask you to help me. You're just," you stop to toss your hands up, defeated and dramatic. "My only friend and I like having your opinion on things."
Eddie could explode right now. He could punch himself directly between his own two eyes. No one has ever bitten their tongue as hard as he wished he'd bitten his just seconds ago. He stares at you apologetically, lips pressed tightly together in a speechless, straight line.
"Dude, I'm sorry. Let me help you, I was being a dick." Eddie start rummaging through your clothes.
"It's fine, man. I'm just nervous, I'm sorry." You look at the floor, defeated after your little outburst.
"Shut up, try this on." Eddie tosses you a random top. This is how all of your apologies went, ever since you met. They're almost instant. You've never had a "fight" last longer than a few hours.
You try the top on and it's perfect. Flattering in all the best ways, making you feel hot and comfortable. You pair it with a go-to pair of flared jeans and call it a night. Eddie waves and flashes a toothy grin as he exits out your window. He doesn't even actually need to use the window, he just likes to.
Back at his trailer, Eddie tosses and turns with anger. He didn't care that you had a date, he didn't care that it was with Hawkins's number one womanizer, he knew you could take care of yourself. He was mad because it wasn't him taking you on that date.
The next day Eddie wakes up feeling like he hasn't slept at all. His dreams were consumed with pictures of you, naked on his bed, reading your magazines and getting high. Just the memory of the dream is enough for him to wake up hard.
He shoves those thoughts to the back of his mind and checks the clock. Noon. Not bad for a weekend. Eddie throws the blankets back over his head and falls back asleep, silently hoping for more dreams of you.
Your date with Billy is in just a few hours, so you're getting ready in advance just in case. In case of what, you ask? You don't know. You're just really nervous. Billy picks you up and the two of you head off to the movies.
By the end of your date, you're officially Billy Hargrove's girlfriend. The way he asked was so perfect and romantic, you don't even know where to start. Your first instinct is to call your best friend and tell him everything, but then you remember how annoyed it made him before. So you hang up the phone before dialing and head to your bedroom.
Eddie wakes up, again, and checks the clock. 10 PM.
"Oh, shit." Eddie jumps up and runs to the living room. "Wayne, did Y/N call?"
"Nah, no calls. You sleep all Saturday?" Wayne's voice carries worry.
"Yeah, I don't wanna talk about it. I'll see you later." Eddie calls as he heads out to his van. A short trip later, he arrives at your house. This time using the window because he has to. He taps on it a little before just opening it as wide as possible.
"HOLY SHIT!" You yell having woken up to a dark, broad shouldered figure climbing through your window.
"You should really lock your windows, Y/N. I could've had ulterior motives." Eddie winks in the moonlight leaking through the window.
"Fuck, dude. What are you doing here? It's like 11 o'clock." You rub your eyes.
"It's 10:15 and I just wanted to see how the date went, damn." Eddie drops onto your bed. "So how'd it go?" Eddie smiles over your sleepy face.
"He asked me to be his girlfriend." You gush, blushing and fluttering your tired eyes. "We're seeing each other again tomorrow!"
"That's awesome, wow." Eddie works hard to sound excited for you, but he feels sick to his stomach. Seeing you this happy is enough for him to keep his comments to himself, though. For now.
Eddie turns to look at you, but you've already fallen back asleep. He watches you for a moment, regretting his choice to come here because this news is going to eat him alive when he tries to sleep tonight. Not to mention him already sleeping all day today.
The next day, you don't see each other. The day after that, the same. Billy steals you away every chance he gets. He knows you and Eddie are best friends, and he's hoping to help you realize there are more people to hang around than the local freak.
Two whole weeks pass and the only time Eddie sees you is at Hellfire. It's Friday again and you've arrived at Hellfire before anyone else, except Eddie, of course.
"Hey, man. I'm really excited for this finale!" You beam at him, causing his heart rate to rise.
"I'm glad you've still been able to make it considering you're always so busy." Eddie teases.
"I know, I'm sorry. We should hang out tonight!" Your suggestion catches Eddie off guard. "I'll tell Billy I'm riding home with you."
"Sounds great," Eddie smirks, basking in the idea of you telling Billy you can't hang because you're going to Eddie's. Hellfire club dismisses and you follow Eddie out to his van. Outside the doors, Billy is waiting, leaning against his Camaro.
"Hey, babe," Billy's smooth voice wraps around you like a rope, drawing you into him. "You ready to go?"
"Actually, I'm hanging out with Eddie tonight." You point to Eddie next to his van. "I haven't seen him in a few weeks, so I-"
"But you see him at Hellfire, don't you?" Billy, visibly bothered, folds his arms across his chest.
"Well, yeah. But that's like- it's not like hanging out. We're killing things and he's playing God." You struggle to explain.
"So you're just gonna go over to some guy's house, at night, instead of seeing your boyfriend?" Billy was starting to raise his voice ever so slightly.
"Whoa, man. I've known him for six years." You shake your head in shock.
"Whatever, if you're acting single tonight, I can do the same." And with that, he slides into his car and drives off. He makes sure to squeal the tires as he creates more distance between you. You scoff before shaking your head and walking over to Eddie.
"The fuuuuck was that?" Eddie tries to hide a giggle, giddy knowing he makes Billy so jealous.
"I don't know, dude. But it was kind of hard to watch." You laugh, causing Eddie's laugh to finally escape. The two of you crack up over Billy's little performance before heading back to Eddie's.
"He's literally never done that before. It was so weird. And he's fully aware that we see each other every day, he's never once made it a thing." You pass the joint to Eddie. With your legs extended across his mattress, you propped yourself up on his pillows. Fully occupying the bed.
"That's so fucking weird, man. I've heard he's a little insane." Eddie sits at the end of his bed, practicing chords on his acoustic guitar.
"I don't think he's insane. I just don't understand why he reacted that way." Your eyes remain glued to the page even after you feel Eddie's gaze on you. "What?" You finally look up at him.
"Just... Kinda sounds like you're defending him for no reason. You know, like you did before." He raises his eyebrows.
"Eddie, I-" you start, but you're cut off by car doors outside. You both rush to the blinds to peek, being nosy busybodies, but not giving a shit. That's when you notice Billy's car in the driveway of another trailer that he definitely doesn't live in.
"That's uh... That's Natalia's house." Eddie speaks nervously, knowing Natalia is well known at your school for... Let's just say, stealing boyfriends. As Billy approaches the door, he turns as if he knows you see him and winks at you with a big, gorgeous, evil grin. He disappears behind the door without a word.
"Well, damn." You stare in shock. "Good thing it's only been a few weeks, but damn."
"That was... A lot. You okay?" Eddie places a hand on your shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm not too worried about it." You shrug. Eddie scans your features for any kind of emotion, there doesn't seem to be any.
"Okay..." Eddie draws the word out. "Well, you uh... You acting single tonight?" He side-eyes you.
"Munson," you place a playful hand on your chest as if you're offended. "Feeling bold?" You raise an eyebrow, caught off guard by his question, but you can't deny the excitement it ignited in your stomach.
"Just seems a little unfair, that's all." He shrugs, carefully making his way closer to you.
"I guess so." You bite your lip. Your eyes are locked on your shoes until you feel two large hands gripping your shoulders. You look up to see Eddie gazing down at you with half-lidded, dark brown eyes.
"Let me," Eddie takes a deep breath. "Let me make you feel single." He chuckles into your ear.
"H-How do you plan on going that, Eddie?" You stutter through quickening breaths. Eddie is so close to you, you can barely keep him in focus.
"By fucking your pretty little brains out." His voice comes out in a low growl, sending chills down your spine to the heat building between your legs.
"Slow down, honey." You quip, backing him up and shoving him onto the couch. He stares up at you expectantly, an awe-struck look plastered across his face as he awaits your next move. You keep eye contact with him as you pull your hair back into a messy bun, kneeling between Eddie's legs.
"Jesus Christ," Eddie's voice is nothing less than a desperate huff of breath while he watches your hands slide up his inner thighs to his belt. You focus intently on the handcuff-shaped buckle, unfastening his pants and pulling back his boxers.
Your eyes widen as his erection springs past the elastic of his underwear. Losing all self-control, you grab his length and take him as far as possible down your throat.
"Holy shit," he grabs a fist full of your hair. "Just like that." He throws his head back, moaning into the emptiness of the trailer. You quicken your pace, earning louder moans and involuntary hip bucking.
Eddie pulls your mouth off his cock, tossing you onto the couch, effectively trading your places. He begins eagerly grabbing at your shirt and the button on your pants, but you stop him. You place your hands on his and hold them still, contemplating.
"I mean, we don't have to do this. I don't want to keep you from doing what you were doing, but if we're doing anything, we might as well just fuck." Eddie's words fill you with the most confusing feelings, but most of all, lust. He's right, Billy's at Natalia's most definitely cheating on you, you'll probably be done with him after this anyways. Might as well fuck your best friend.
You wrap your fingers around the collar of his jean vest and pull his lips into yours. He instantly kisses back, nipping lightly at your bottom lip with his teeth. Each gentle bite is closely followed by sweet, breathy moans from your chest. Eddie melts more and more with each high-pitched sound.
Eddie continues undressing you, audibly aroused more and more as you become exposed completely. He bites his fist watching you slide your delicate hand down to play with yourself for him.
"Somebody's needy," he chuckles, watching you intently. You circle your middle finger around your clit a few times before plunging your finger deep inside you. You and Eddie moan at nearly the same time.
"Don't make me wait all night, Eddie." Your low, sultry voice forces his hand onto his cock. He strokes himself, eyeballing the way your hands move to pleasure yourself.
"I think you'll be okay, sweetheart. Keep going." He towers over you, his rough voice cascading down to you like boulders down a hill. You do as he says, continuing to touch yourself while he does the same. You start fingering yourself faster, gasping lightly as your orgasm approaches.
Suddenly, your arm is yanked away.
"No!" You cry, replacing the hand with your other one only for it to be yanked away too. He pins both of your wrists above your head, positioning himself at your entrance. Your orgasm is quickly dissipating with nothing to rub against your aching clit.
"Just... Wait... A little... More..." Eddie hovers over you, one hand holding your wrists, the other sliding the head of his cock up and down your drenched folds. You writhe and squirm, desperate for contact, begging him to fuck you already. "Okay," he smiles deviously before slamming into you, hard.
"Eddie!" You moan as he glides in and out of you, low growls rumbling from his lips. His guitar pick necklace dangles in your face, brushing against the tip of your nose with each impaling thrust.
"You're so God damn tight, Y/N." His words are broken up by small grunts as he fucks you. "It's fucking unbelievable" You can't help but smile at his praise, happily taking all of him despite the dull pain of being stretched out so abruptly.
"I never thought I'd be hearing you say that to me, Eddie. Gotta be frank." You joke, still getting dicked into oblivion.
"I did," he winks, picking up his pace. Your moans get louder and louder, the pit in your stomach doubling by the second. Sweat clings to the curls around his face, securely gluing them to his jawline. Still fucking you, he rises up straight and sheds his jacket/vest before nearly tearing the shirt off his body.
He returns to his position over you, never breaking his stride. Sweat glistens down his body as his back curves and arches as he slams into you. Your breath begins to hitch in your chest from your orgasm building up.
"Eddie, I-I'm gonna-" he cuts you off with a hard kiss. He throws your legs over his shoulders, hungrily grabbing at your thighs as he fucks you over the edge. You arch your back as the waves of pleasure shoot through your core. You drench Eddie's pelvis in the evidence of your arousal, but he doesn't stop fucking you.
Instead, he flips you onto your stomach. He grips the hair on the back of your head and pulls roughly to get you to assume an all-fours position. You follow his silent directions and he slips himself back in your fucked out hole.
"Fuuuuuck," he sighs as he slides into you. "So fucking good." He mewls out above you, fucking harder and deeper into your pussy with each thrust. You try to protest, tell him it's too much, but he buries your face in the cushion and continues chasing his high.
"Eddieeee!" You scream, suddenly cumming yet again.
"Shut up, just a little more." He huffs angrily, stone focused on the way your back flexes as you fight to hold yourself up. You're a weak, fucked out mess by now, still taking his hard cock. High-pitched whines and cries leak past your lips as he continues, very suddenly picking up his speed at the last second.
"Oh my God, Eddie please!" You cry into the cushion. He thrusts a few times more before pulling out and finishing all over your round ass. Your legs finally collapse and you're laying face down, hair a mess, covered in sweat and cum that isn't your boyfriend's.
"Holy shit," Eddie fights to catch his breath.
"Have fun?" That's all you can say through your dicked down haze.
"Yeah," he sighs. "A lot better than I ever imagined it." He chuckles.
"How many times have you imagined it?" You raise, quizzically.
"Lots and lots of times, Y/N." He shines his famous downturned smile and winks. You feel the blood rise quickly in your cheeks.

Singer!Shinobu x gn!reader
A/N: @mxxstiq it’s been a long time since I did one of your prompts😅 I hope you like this one!
For anyone confused about Shinobu’s entering scene I based it off of Billie’s entrance in a concert she had.
(Timestamp 2:29) link
Btw the ending was heavily inspired by @xxsabitoxx
Art source
Tumblr media
“Come on Y/N, it will be really fun!” Vanessa said, with a cheery tone.
“Yeah it will! I promise you, it’s going to be great!” Anna chimed in.
”The memories will last a lifetime!” Emilia
You didn’t know what to expect at a Saturday evening but it certainly wasn’t this. You have been locking yourself at home for the past few days just to spend some time for yourself. But then you got spam messaged by your friend group wanting you to answer their call and so you did. They told you about a concert they were going to and wanted to invite you in.
The idol at the concert would be Shinobu Kocho, apparently very famous and does not come to your town often at all, so this was like once in a lifetime opportunity. According to your friend they had to book last year December just to get their hands on the tickets. You have heard some of her songs yes and thought she was good, but you’re not so fond of concerts. Rowdy crowds, flashing lights, music so loud it will make your ear ring for the upcoming days, yeah maybe not. But Vanessa was so excited to go to the concert and to go with you so you accepted the invite.
”AHH GREAT! NEXT SATURDAY AT MY PLACE AND THEM WE ALL GO AND TAKE THE BUSS THERE” You couldn’t help but softly chuckle at Vanessa’s excitement.
After like 2 hours of talking with all your friends you hung up deciding to go to bed. You laid there thinking about your descision.
’Oh dear, what have I gotten myself into?’
-
The day has finally arrived, too quickly for your comfort but anyways. Your friends had booked the front row of the concert, right at the barricade too. You got one of the best spots according to your friend but you beg to differ. So all you could do now was just cover your ears and hope for the best. You were too zoned out to even notice that the concert was starting.
Everything went dark and then flashing purple lights. Suddenly Shinobu jumped up from underground and that made the crowd roar. You instantly flinched and Shinobu walked out to the edge of the stage singing her song. You have never heard of it so you guessed it could be a recent song. Either way the crowd went wild as Shinobu danced and sang. Shinobu was known for her upbeat pop music and her soothing voice when she speaks.
After half an hour everything settled in, flashing lights, loud music, wild crowd, you were starting to get nervous. You were slowly regretting coming with. As you zoned out a little you were suddenly pushed by someone from behind you, you slightly hit the barricade but the person seemed too caught up in the moment to notice.
”Woah, are you okay?” Emilia said and you nodded, shooting her a fake smile. Unbeknownst to you, Shinobu noticed, her brows furrowed slightly before she continued on with her song. She decided to keep an eye on you.
The group that stood behind you got a sudden rush or something, they started to scream the songs Shinobu sang and sometimes they just screamed. You of course covered your ears at those moments wishing the concert would be over soon. It didn’t help that the group never got a hint and still pushed you against the barricade. It was so embarrassing to get pinned up at the barricade like this and it was also very uncomfortable.
Shinobu took notice of this and she felt extremely bad for you. You clearly weren’t having a good time and that fake smile of yours? She’s seen it before. Shinobu feels very guilty that you weren’t enjoying yourself, she wants to make sure everyone enjoys themself at her concert and would hate to see that someone wasn’t having any fun.
After seeing you get pushed to the barricade again, this time with tears nearly falling from your eyes, she decided she had enough.
She walked to the edge of the stage holding her hand out to you with a bright smile, it was like time slowed down. Like this was destined to happen a instrumental part of the song came in so Shinobu spoke away from the mic to you "Please, take my hand" You took her by the hand and the guards quickly rushed in to open a part of the barricade so you could slip through. Shinobu then ran up to the stage with you.
Of course your friend group can’t be forgotten and she held eyecontact with them all making Vanessa nearly faint.
When you were up there Shinobu still held your hand, sometimes running around the stage letting you follow with. She would spin before leading you to the center again.
This whole experience felt magical. The rush you felt, the crowd cheering and the whole arena in front of you.
You were speechless. Suddenly the lights dimmed and Shinobu lead you to the backstage.
"I hope I gave you a good time" Shinobu smiled and you began to blush.
"Y-yes y-you did, it was a-amazing" You accidentally squealed the last part out.
"I'm glad you liked it. I am so sorry that group gave you such a hard time, the fans can be like that sometimes" You nodded not knowing what more to say.
"What's your name?"
"My name is Y/N" You replied and Shinobu's smile widened.
"Well Y/N, the night is far from over so why not let you have the amazing experience you deserve?" Shinobu handed you a backstage pass.
You looked up at her and smiled widely, trying to contain a squeal.
"I hope you will enjoy this show from a different perspective" Shinobu said and winked.
Shinobu then ran out to the arena again, the crowd roaring at her reappearance.
As the next song shot through the speakers you were taking all of this in, wanting to cherish these moments forever.
You still felt your cheek blushing as you saw how the lights shown on Shinobu as she happily smiled while singing.
When you thought through this night you can confidently say, you have no regrets.

Bam Dating Rockstar Reader Headcannons!
Tumblr media
a/n: This idea has been stuck in my head forever so I'm finally letting it out haha
prompt: Title :)
warnings: Fluff, smut, fem!reader, light mention of alcohol
Tumblr media
Bam would feel like he won at life if he dated a rockstar girl.
Forget the sports cars, fancy clothing, money, tv shows and movies this would truly make him feel on top of the world
I feel like Bam was a big fan of your band before you two met
Of course you knew who he was before he spoke to you because you loved Jackass
(who didn't in the 2000s?)
But when you spot Bam at the barricade at one of your shows with Ryan, Chris, and Dico while you were on stage you got a little too happy
So happy that during a random stage break you took you told your manager to ask the four boys if they wanted to join your after party
And when Bam was asked by your manager he was shell shocked.
You, Yn Yl, one of the singers for the biggest metal bands in the world wanted him, a guy who records himself getting hurt for money, at your after party?!
Of course he said yes and the four boys where all on top of the world for the rest of the concert
During the after party Bam spoke to you and you talked about how you loved Jackass and his crazy stunts, which got him flustered even though he is hard to get flustered
You also got flustered when Bam talked about how much he loved your music, even saying how he had your first album you had ever released before the band you were now in
But at the end of the night you ended up asking Bam on a date and Bam said yes a little too quickly in his head
And the rest is history
Bam wears your merch every chance he gets
You release a new line of merch? He's the first to be wearing it
Bam is probably your number one fan
When you first went over to his house and into his room you swore his face went white when you saw a poster of your swimsuit photoshoot on his wall above his bed that he forgot to take down
"This doesn't make me look like a total creep right?!"
He never ended up taking it down, even when you moved in with him ;)
When your on tour Bam goes to all the shows he can
Sometimes he's in the crowd, sometimes he's backstage, just depends on his mood
Sometimes he even surprises you while on tour by going to your shows
Of course you have to be in Jackass
Bam didn't even have to ask Jeff twice when he said you wanted to be in a stunt
"Hey Jeff Yn and I were wondering if she could be in a stunt? It doesn't have to be nothing big but-"
"Why are you even asking me if Yn Yl, the face of a music genre, can be in the movie? Dumbass."
Your first time ever on set was great
All the guys loved you and even talking about how they loved your music
If we are being honest all you got on set were compliments
"Nice jacket Yn!" - Johnny most likely
"Your music is totally rad dude!" - Steve-o
"You're way more badass then Bam." - Chris
Bam and Ryan were practically rolling their eyes out of their heads as they watched your ego inflate from the compliments
But you ended up joining in on the Beehive Limo and dumping marble on the ground with Johnny
Jackass fans and your fans loved it
Since you are a big face in music of course you have award shows to go to
Bam was always your plus one but only if he promised to behave himself, which he always did
He would actually wear suits when he would attend award shows with you
The whole time on the red carpet he would have an arm around your waist
He would also totally do silly poses with you
But during the serious photos is when he would whisper into your ear and shower you with compliments
"This dress looks so good on you babe."
"You're the hottest girl here."
"Give me a kiss and let everyone know I have the prettiest girlfriend."
If your band ended up winning the award Bam seemed more excited then you
Jumping up and down, clapping loudly, yelling "That's my girlfriend!"
He probably annoyed lots of people attending if you won.
Since you are so famous in the music industry there of course is fans (crazy and regular) and paparazzi
Bam has no problem with either unless they cross an unsaid line of his
Such as touching you weirdly or just being rude
Bam does not care about telling off paparazzi if they are rude to you or him, he doesn't care what stupid headlines on some dumb magazine he might get for yelling at them
He 100% has gotten into a fight with one of your weirder fans for making a sexual comment about you
"The hell did you just say about her you nasty prick?"
"Bam don't jump over that barricade I swear to hell!"
But we can't forget Bam is also famous
You may have drunkly gone off on random girls at clubs for touching Bam which has caused Bam having to pull you away from them when you start taking your rings off
When Bam had an interview he would always find a way to bring you up if you weren't brought up
"And it looks like we are out of time folks! Everyone one more round of applause for the one and only Bam Margera!"
"Thank you guys! And make sure to buy my girlfriend Yn's new album coming out Friday it's great!"
Bam also listened to all your songs before they were released to give criticism
But it always failed because Bam would swear to you he loved every song you showed him
You also have wrote three songs about Bam since you've been together, each made his heart want to explode
I feel like he gives you random compliments?
Like he just loves complimenting you because he one likes seeing how flustered you get and two wants you to know how beautiful you really are
"Your hair is so pretty babe."
"God you are just so sexy even in pjs."
"I could stare at you all damn day."
pda? Bam loves it.
Kisses, hugs, hand holding, he loves it all
He just doesn't care who sees because he wants everyone to remember you're his and only his
So many paparazzi shots of Bam kisses you or having a arm wrapped around your waist
But outside of public Bam is 10x more touchy
He is just so in love with you and wants to make sure you know
But the sex you two have? A grace from the heavens
You two are just so in love that every time you guys end up having sex it's great
Bam loves when you ride him cause he just loves seeing your whole body on top of his
I feel like he never really cared for eating out a girl until he met you
He could do it for hours on end and probably has
You both are very mutual with praising
"God Yn just like that keep doing that such a good girl for me."
"Bam please keep going you feel so good."
"I'm so lucky to have you babe, love you so much."
"You're so handsome from this angle Bam, I wish you could see."
You two have had multiple quickies in your dressing room before shows and in random locations while Bam filmed Jackass
But overall the sex is 10/10
Oh and April and Phil love you
At first April was scared of meeting Bam's new metal head rockstar girlfriend but when you sat down at the table all her worries seemed to wash away
Phil probably didn't really care about what you were like, I mean it wasn't like it was going to affect him that much but he ended up loving you!
You never had to worry about getting on Ryan, Chris, and Dico's good sides though they were all already big fans of you and your music
Bam just thinks your perfect for him
He has thought about putting a ring on it many times
But yeah, Bam would love dating his rockstar girlfriend :)

• A Titan and its Slayers •
➽ I made the right call of making her go with Leona and Jamil instead of the Prefect and Pomefiore trio. Also I noticed how the three of them have a problem with being in the spotlight 彡໒(⊙ᴗ⊙)७彡. (Jamil and hiding his skills, Leona and his birth order issues, Phoebus and her necessary evil dilemma—). Most of Jamil and Leona’s dialog are based off of Otome Ayui’s translations!
Summary ➽ Split into three teams, the ghostwriter finally reaches a buried truth thanks to the heroism of an uncrowned king and an unveiled tactician.
Word Count ➽ 2.6k
Trigger Warnings ➽ Mentions of S*icide and depictions of death.
Other notes ➽ SPOILERS FOR IGNIHYDE ARC
Tumblr media
“...It’s too cold”
A comment by Savanaclaw’s Dorm Leader halted the other two. The events that transpired up until now left an uneasy feeling within the ghostwriter’s stomach. It hasn’t been five minutes since they left the last phantom asylum, where a distasteful memory reopened in her subconscious. On the bright side, her two upperclassmen have finally ceased their dispute but her worries rekindled when a chilly breeze rose to their altitude.
“Cold..too col- hold on.”
The ravenette saw her own breath manifest as a minuscule cloud of air, the only time this can occur is if they were in an environment with temperatures lower than average. Phoebus shot her gaze back to the other two students, expression tense and struck with the realization that—
“Ugh!- where’d the gust come from!?”
The trio took a sharp step back away from the ledge, a rising force began to ascend leaving none of their senses unalarmed. Jamil’s squinting allowed him to catch sight of other projectiles shooting from the tower’s inner walls, all likely coming from the very thing they were about to face.
“There’s wind and ice everywhere- A blizzard?!”
“This sound- and it's getting stronger…It's here!”
“It’s excreting something!- Blot?!”
It had to be at least five meters tall give or take, its size being the last of the trio’s concerns when it clawed its way up from the rigged ledge. Jamil’s expression finally lost its composure after spotting the elongated vial of what they presumed to be ancient blot, the body of the titan cultivated by ice in its every inch.
“Is that- Phantom Titans Crystal?!”
A fierce roar pierced the cold atmosphere, from their earlier trials the group knew phantoms can take many forms, some slithered, others crawl, but one with the ability to speak? The three shared the same thought; a reaction to the difference in intelligence between the other phantoms and the first generation… these Titans.
“J̶U̶P̵I̴T̵E̷R̵!̶ ̸W̷H̸E̴R̷E̷ ̸A̷R̸E̷ ̶Y̴O̵U̷?̴!̷”
Phoebus merely conjured a fleeting thought, Jupiter? Zeus’ Roman counterpart? As a native of earth, she did half expect some overlaps with Twisted Wonderland’s culture and the ones present in her world but the girl didn’t have time to dwell on the connection. Leona’s footing was hindered by the frost forming on the uneven floor, Jamil’s senses urged him to pull back the other two before the beastman grunted out an order for them to retreat into the hangar.
“Don’t you dare zone out! Follow me!”
The room looked fairly the same as the ones they were kept in earlier save for a few more compartments, likely storing other emergency supplies but that's as best as the ravenette’s guess was. Echoes of objects falling sounded through the vicinity trailing into muffled signals where the group stood. The two men shut the door in a hurry while Phoebus sauntered over to the wrecked pile of materials, carefully segregating them into smaller piles to reveal a long wall of shelves and storage. Leona reached a hand to his forehead, sweeping some of his fringes away from his skin before the third year leaned against the barricaded entrance.
“This door belongs to a big facility, I'm not surprised by how thick the material is..”
The Scarabia Vice Dorm Leader was about to do the same after abruptly pulling the door shut, he felt the subtle soreness settling in his arms but it wasn’t anything alarming. Before his back could make contact with the metal door another shrieked demand invaded the already chaotic environment.
“G̸E̷T̸ ̴O̴U̶T̵!̸!̶!̶”
Jamil’s gaze shot back to the wall’s glint, the sight of frost sheathing forced him to stand back from the sealed entrance as if that were the enemy itself. The Ramshackle first year rejoined her upperclassmen where they stood after her rushed inspection of the toppled junk. By now Leona had stopped his rest against the wall, the chill becoming more evident by the second, especially with how fast the temperature was dropping.
“It's freezing the door, is that Titan thinking of shattering it once it's a chunk of ice?"
"It's only a matter of time before it breaks in!”
The banging only increased in its aggression, the three of them didn't need to visually see its figure out the door for them to know how furious it was. Leona gritted his teeth, fangs protruding more than ever before he pinched the bridge of his nose; only now did he turn to face his juniors.
“I’ll guard the damned door, you two find the thunder spear- we need it to beat that wretched thing.”
Their simultaneous affirmation met Leona's hearing before the trio dispersed. Jamil opted to rummage through the higher shelves allowing the Ghostwriter to handle the lower tier compartments. They were genuinely doing their best to execute this teamwork as efficiently as possible but the pounding force Leona was handling didn't help in letting the younger students focus.
"No sign of it— ugh!— did the staff say what it'd look like?"
"I'm assuming it's something long if it's an- tsk- emergency counter to that monstrosity!"
The low temperature was starting to affect their movement; Phoebus' finger twitched as it tugged on one of the cabinets open before a glint of gold peeked from the peripheral vision of the two students.
“The shelf at B-16… ah- got it!”
The first year wasted no time in assisting Jamil, the two pulling open the cover only to reveal an oversized spear. Faint electrical sparks scattered its golden blade and to the observant eye, there were subtle white engravings in its crevices, truly a blade for the divine. Despite its ethereal form, there was a more significant concern for the two students.
“This is a spear..? It’s bigger than me.”
The first year shuddered at the power it was emitting. Perhaps it was her condition as a non-magic user but even Jamil seemed to be taken aback by what he just uncovered.
“Code: Titanomachy, Identified as emergency level A. Releasing all magic circuits, Battery: 100%”
"Jamil-senpai can you carry it? Perhaps with magic?"
The male shared the same strained expression as Phoebus, he could tell by her voice that she was pushed into a mental corner, in some way he pitied her as it reminded him of his younger self. That feeling of anxiousness was buried under their masks of responsibility— but in a situation as dire as this, it was dangerous to haul such responsibilities on your own back when you know for certain you're not fit for it.
"No."
“Activating thunderstorm spear. Registering operator’s fingerprint, please touch the screen panel”
Panic flashed on the first year's face, the AI's status report didn't go unheard by the two present students. She looked to Scarabia's Vice Dorm Leader as if asking why, after all, Leona was already working himself to the bone out there and if Jamil had the capacity to overblot then wouldn't he have the magic capability to— wait.
Was that what he feared? She had to remind herself that a wizard in training might sense things she wasn't able to comprehend. Jamil gave a distressed sigh before biting the insides of his cheek.
“No, I can’t. Even if the registration was successful...The power emitting from the spear, it’s too powerful and I don’t think I can handle it.”
An answer was left at the tip of her tongue before the room shook violently, the crossfire at some distance away was starting to grow more violent than necessary. Urgency had finally snapped their reluctance out the window. Jamil held his tongue in thought before declaring his decision.
“Dammit- We should call Leona-senpai.”
The risks were equal at face value but after further debate Phoebus caved in, tailing Jamil while charging into the frontlines where the third year stood tirelessly against the Titan they had to face.
“Well look who woke up in a bad mood…tsk- Stop whining!"
The beastman's mockery was met with an agitated rumble from the first-generation phantom. He tore every ice figure into sand time and time again but the fatigue was starting to weigh on his chest.
“Leona-senpai! we found the Thunder Spear!"
Slitted emerald eyes shot back to where the Vice dorm leader stood, to which he confirmed when the Ghostwriter nodded in the assurance that they did fulfill their task.
“So you guys did… go, head to where it is and I’ll guard the rear, Move and don’t look back!”
Even Leona gaped at its size, opting to just scratch the nape of his neck before side-eying his Underclassmen.
“Hmph, so you can be patient.”
"You think, senpai?"
“Besides, You only told us to find it...”
A snarky retort was left unsaid when the system AI resumed its announcement. Earning an irritated grunt from the third year before begrudgingly walking over to the displayed pad.
“Stop being repetitive you hornbill- we can hear you just fine."
Consecutive crashes pressured the trio; Leona immediately pulled off his glove with a fanged bite letting his exposed palm rest on the indicated scanner, it took a few seconds before it accepted the registered user.
“Registration complete, Releasing safety device’s locks. Support mode activated.”
The locks loosened, presenting the two-meter spear to their group in its advanced glory. Leona could faintly feel his sweat drop despite the low temperature in the vicinity. Dismissing the pit in his stomach he took the handle with two hands, irked by the impractical size of the weapon.
“What’s with its weight and power— ugh! It's so hard to make it float.”
The uneasy feeling that settled in Phoebus’ stomach grew heavier, midnight gaze locked on the spear and by extension Leona. One minute he was attempting to lift the spear with both his physical strength and magic the next thing she knew their footing lost its balance on the frosted floor. None of them knew how heavy the Thunder Spear exactly was, if they did, perhaps Leona wouldn’t have forcefully moved the weapon off its hinges, the momentum of the curved swing causing it to force itself over the ledge where not even Leona could hold back.
Phoebus went deaf as if the only significant thing in her life right now was the two-meter weapon that continued to spark a dangerous array of lightning— all that power possibly going to waste instead of being utilized against the Titan that stubbornly resumed its havoc on the current floor. This would be the first and last time she throws away reason; because this whole circus show of death was unreasonable to begin with.
“PHOEBUS-SAN!”
The girl bit back her tongue, she needed to reach it. Reach it reach it reach it REACH IT REACH IT—
“LEONA-SENPAI PULL IT BACK!!!”
They say your life flashes before your eyes when in death’s ballroom, but for this waltz, she threw away the premise of her act. Whether it’d be her last never crossed her mind until both she and Leona held opposite ends of the spear. Her body acted before her mind could, words pathetically stuck in between the two forces. Phoebus hung for dear life with a single hand at the end of the weapon; while Leona desperately clutched on its handle with both hands unable to reach for his magic pen a few feet away when it flew out of his grasp. Jamil called out for the two, he ran over as fast as he could but the faster he tried to reach them with his magic the more projectiles the Titan thrashed in his general direction, occupied with the nimble Scarabia student.
The first year couldn’t recover her sense of hearing save for the sound of her frantic heartbeat— standing as the last reminder of how in the deepest pits of her heart she did value her life. The thought came too late and so did Leona’s realization. The problem here was the weight, right?
"...Forgive me."
Leona’s increase in speed didn’t go unnoticed by Jamil when he saw the third year pull up the Thunder Spear, his relief was simply a fleeting hope when he saw no sign of their youngest teammate, in its place, was an unexplainable distraught on Leona’s expression. It didn’t take the Scarabia Vice much to put two and two together.
"Leona-Senpai where did she go!?-"
“W̴̻̆H̷̛̝E̵̱̒R̴͕̆E̷͕͐ ̶̯̈́Å̴̬R̷̺̀Ḙ̶̍ ̶͓́Ȳ̸͚Ȏ̵̥U̷̧͌?̶̼̏!̴̨͆!̶̛̳”
They didn’t have time and that fact repeated in the beastman’s head over and over again like a cruel record. Sacrifices were an inevitable variable in any pursuit towards victory, Leona just didn't account for a greater risk is all. That inexcusable slip-up was on him, who asked for her to go after it? Who asked the kid to jump over the ledge? Who asked her to let go when Leona was already desperately finding a way to pull her and the Thunder Spear up?
“Listen, we’ll beat the hell out of this thing but…It’ll take some time for me to handle all this… buy me some time with magic.”
Jamil followed, a plan executed perfectly between them; the Titan plunged back into where it ascended from, but neither men could see the girl’s body. There was no answer to their shouts. Then again…
They didn’t hear her cries beneath the sea of phantoms, did they?
Dark, darker, yet darker her vision became, the headlights blue in hue had long disappeared from her line of sight. It was in her final hope that they did it— that at least somewhere, without her, things went right.
The longer she fell the louder those agonizing cries became to her hearing. Phoebus didn’t dare look down even with her swift descent towards gravity’s core. When was the last time she was consumed by fear? Had she felt something this severe before? An ungodly amount of thoughts breached her mind just as the immense feeling of despair settled within the confinements of her chest.
Her vision became too blurry to comprehend, how far had she already fallen? According to their earlier experiment with Jamil’s hair accessory, it had to be at least around fifty floors. Jamil… did he see? Since well… she couldn’t forget Leona’s ferocity, the obvious refusal of her final apology.
…Maybe, final words fit better…
Her body made contact with something, the mass accumulation of stray phantoms greeting the only humane life force within one hundred-meter radius. At this point Phoebus had already resigned her life away, it only occurred to her now just how long ago she deemed it disposable. Suicidal? It wasn’t that, she hated herself more than life itself.
The blot finding its way to infect her skin slowly numbed her physical senses. Her hearing had long abandoned cooperation— why was she holding on to her mental awareness? The ghost writer choked out an unpleasant scream. She wished she lost her mental hold first before anything because it seems the blot was affecting it first, the despair and agony choked her alive. Phantoms of all sorts sensed the only living force and hand to Great Seven fate never gave her mercy even in her final moments. Tears immediately became dry before they could fall down her cheek, The prefect, the first year gang, her family in this Twisted Wonderland… if there was still one last plea she could give, it'd be the wellbeing of the people who taught her that she didn't need to force herself into the role of a necessary evil.
Her limbs went limp, allowing even the most minor of blot forms to consume her body and soul, what was left of her hope had diminished— when her last plea ascended in defiance of the weight fate placed on her.
A mortal body exhausted beyond belief, like a dying flame in a field of ashes. That fire was simply too enticing to the undead beings surrounding her writhing figure. The space around her closed little by little as she was caved in by symphonies of mockery, grief, and wrath.
“Y̸o̴u̴ ̵s̸h̶o̸u̷l̸d̴n̸'̵t̸ ̸b̶e̶ ̵h̵e̵r̸e̶.̸.̵.̶“
An estranged wisp of blue pierced the void around her. How can someone sound so cold…yet reach a hand so warm…? Unbeknownst to the masses, there was once a legend that tells of a great being who committed theft to Jupiter’s lightning. The terrible being loathed by the gods gave humankind the first fire on the earth. His sister witnessed the exchange, and seeing his aid to humanity ignited a peculiar question to the dear moon’s mind…
Can a primordial disgrace show mercy to the mortal soul?

FFXIVWrite2023 Prompt #18 - A Fish Out of Water
The Sisters were a known entity to Y'shtola for the same reason a precocious child would be interested in tide pools. She never knew when something interesting would be dragged in. Whether it be someone or some rumor, Y'shtola thought it well worth the price of a finger sandwich or two at the Bismarck for the latest gossip.
V'kebbe did not speak as she was eating except to swear in enjoyment. Mercifully, she also ate rather fast. Woe betide the fool that got between V'kebbe and her sandwich.
As for Y'shtola, she had a sandwich herself, but presently only sipped tea. With the way that V'kebbe eyed Y'shtola's sandwich even as she was still shoving her own sandwich into her mouth, Y'shtola thought it wise to leave it as extra incentive.
V'kebbe chased what remained of her sandwich with some juice and let out a satisfied sigh.
"Damn well hit th' spot. Much obliged, Miss Y'shtola, a regular gentry-mort ye be."
"I'm delighted, I'm sure," Y'shtola put down her cup, "Now about this newcomer."
V'kebbe wiped her mouth more daintily than Y'shtola expected her to, "Aye, been floatin' betwixt us Sisters and th' Marauders'. One o' four survivors of a botched mutiny."
"Oh? A botched mutiny? And I didn't know the Sisters left survivors for mutinies."
Such was the nature of piracy. The captain's orders were law on the high seas, for the captain was the only member of the crew with a charter. To mutiny was to rise against the captain and thus the charter, and the charter was often the only thing keeping crews from attacking friendlies or other allied pirates. A crew greedy, foolish, or desperate enough to mutiny instead of finding common ground with the captain or toughing it out until the next port and leaving was dangerous to everyone else on the high seas. Except in the very rare case in which a captain was for whatever reason spared, successful mutinies aboard Lominsan ships were put down with impunity as soon as the relevant authorities caught wind of it. Retribution needed be swift, total, and utterly unpredictable, and it was often one of the Sisters or their sister organization that would do the deed.
That said, opposing a mutiny as it was occurring was generally suicide. The captain and the few that backed them would be put in the brig if they survived the initial encounter, but inevitably put to the blade soon after. Mutineers that could prove they were forced under sword or musket to go along with it were generally spared death and were sentenced instead to hard labor. However, as only the captain's word could vouch for a crew member, few could prove anything.
"No sense killin' pirates that ain't mutinous. And 'twas botched on th' account of this virago. Bloody sided with th' Capt'n against her own lover and the rest!"
Y'shtola's ear's perked, "How curious, a relationship onboard a pirate ship?"
"On a crew of all ewes too, a frigate o' frigates if ye please."
"'Tis indeed quite queer a circumstance. Pirates take lovers to strengthen their martial bonds as well as marital, do they not?"
"Aye, but this judy supposedly had a vision tellin' her it weren't right. Fought off the crew and barricaded herself, the captain, and two others in the captain's quarters. They held out 'til the Sisters caught up to the ship."
Y'shtola motioned to the waiter for another cup of tea, "A vision?"
"Sommat 'bout the leader o' the mutiny lyin' to seize the ship. No idea how the mort knew. Anyroad, she's not thrilled to be rubbin' elbows with the crew that croaked her lover. I could point ye in her direction if yer interested."
Y'shtola took one finger sandwich for herself to go with her tea, placing it on her saucer, and pushed the rest towards V'kebbe. "I'd be much obliged."
***
Y'shtola awoke under an unfamiliar ceiling, to unfamiliar walls, and in an unfamiliar position. Normally, she slept on her back or curled up against a pillow. Right now, she was in the arms of someone as the little spoon. It wasn't uncomfortable, per se, save that she could feel her back soaked in sweat.
Right. Xiao. Her person of interest. The pirate with visions. She had encountered the pirate investigating the same disturbance she was, even before following up on V'kebbe's lead. A rampaging Goobbue and a cryptic dagger later, she had invited the nearly-mute-save-for-some-cant pirate to a meal, and then, well, after having a bit too much to drink, they staggered to Xiao's room.
Really, perhaps it wasn't right to be taking advantage of a woman in such a vulnerable position, lost and directionless in a new city on the other side of the Star, having just lost a lover to a cruel sort of justice. But well, Y'shtola had urges like just about anyone else, and an evening spent staring at Xiao's loose shirt drawstrings and plunging neckline made Y'shtola very curious as to what shifting shapes lay under that linen. She was much rewarded for this curiosity upon curiosity. Xiao was more than decent in bed, despite the language barrier. She had endurance and strength enough to lift Y'shtola bodily even bells into the night, and her calloused fingers knew how to be rough and yet tender at once. Thus, despite the lack of experience, Xiao was able to sate Y'shtola of an itch that was left unscratched for longer than Y'shtola was aware of. In turn, the archon showed Xiao how cunningly skillful her lips and tongue could be at more than just words and easily kept well apace with the vivacious younger woman.
Now though, the one night stand had well enough passed into day, and Y'shtola needed to go. For a bath among other things.
Xiao finally stirred as Y'shtola had finished toweling off her sweat and redressed. She casually exposed herself in the mid morning sun with a stretch, leaving the older Miqo'te strangely proud to have bedded such a chiseled statuesque beauty. Her heart skipped a beat in a concerning way.
Gods, she needed to leave.
Xiao reached out to Y'shtola, for an embrace perhaps, or to keep her here for a while longer. Y'shtola adopted a conciliatory look and shook her head.
"A thousand pardons, Xiao, but I really should get going. I'll look fondly back at the time we shared."
"Y'shtola?"
"My investigations need continue afore the trail grows cold. Thank you for your assistance yesterday, but I believe you've been fairly compensated for your time."
Y'shtola tore her eyes from Xiao and walked swiftly to the door, but the pirate got out of bed and grabbed her from behind before Y'shtola could open it.
In a way, this was what Y'shtola was afraid of.
With gentle elbow nudging the ribs and a hand pushing away Xiao's face, Y'shtola twisted out of the embrace and held Xiao at arm's length.
"Really, I don't wish to lead you on any further than I already have. 'Twas purely a fling, a bit of physicality, that I desired. Nothing more."
Xiao wore the saddest, most pitiful look on her face.
"But who knows? Perhaps our paths will cross again." She offered Xiao a small smile, "Until then."
And then she slipped out of the room and shut the door after her. Feeling now comfortably alone and a lot less naked, she made her escape of those unfamiliar emotional confines that she desired not to trifle with.

First thank you for the audio, I’m so excited to listen!! You said you talked to one of the actors, does this mean you staged doored? If so, how and where was it? I’m going next week but I don’t know where to go, I thought it was still not an option because of covid. Thanks again for the audio and any info about stage door you have :))
yes, i did stage door!
for the location: i followed the directions found here. essentially, you just turn right as you exit, turn right on 8th avenue, then turn right again on 45th st (so it's one street over from the majestic, in other words). i scoped out the location during the day before going because i was nervous about finding it lol. here is a pic of what it looks like, from the site i linked:
Tumblr media
as for stage dooring post-covid, i think i saw someone on the broadway subreddit saying that they just lifted restrictions last week (or the week before, not sure). either way, for the past while in an unofficial capacity, it seemed like the actors were still meeting people as they left judging by pics posted on instagram. they didn't have any barricades up or anything like i've seen for some other shows when i went, so it was all very casual
i recommend getting to the stagedoor asap after the show, i left as fast as i could (from front mezz) and only saw ben crawford, julia udine, and nehal joshi (and chris georgetti + maree johnson, but didn't get to speak with them). there weren't too many people waiting when i got there, probably about 4 groups of 2-4 people each. the actors were all very kind and took the time to talk with each group individually
i was incredibly nervous at first since, ya know, this is my life and all. but i spoke to julia first and she was just so nice that my nerves basically melted away. i thanked her for her performance and just said how much i enjoyed it and appreciated her work for the show etc etc. speaking to nehal was especially awesome, because seeing his andre really just elevated the managers overall for me, and i told him that he basically ruined every other andre performance for me (like i've said on here before) and that i just really loved what he did with the role. as i mentioned in the tags of the other post, he brought up how hal prince said two things about andre, that he was "kind and loved the opera." i think i almost collapsed on the spot honestly, because he quoted hal fucking prince. he was just so genuine and kind, everyone was. ben was really nice too, he mentioned visiting an area around my hometown when i said i traveled from (insert far away state) after not seeing him when i saw the show for the first time in december. -- i know you didn't ask for a retelling of my exact experience lol, but since i was pretty nervous with not knowing what to do, i thought it might help if you heard how it was!
also, if you want them to sign anything i recommend bringing your own pen just in case. julia didn't have one but ben and nehal did, so it's best to be prepared i think. but the people at the stage door with me were really cool, so i'm sure anyone would let you borrow a pen if you forget one
i hope it's a great experience for you!

Transformers Au Part 5
We ended up spending the night at Juan's and to our surprise it was quiet. Jazz agreed to act as my car and guard. The plan was that during the school and work he would try and find the other autobots where abouts. That got dashed the instant we pulled into the parking lot. The large parking lot was for both teachers and students. There is also a spot designated for a resource officer but today is the first day I have seen a car in that spot. Jazz slowed down, the radio stopped playing music, "That smells like the Decepticon from yesterday, but the scent is faint almost like he isn't there anymore. Weird. " I look down at the radio and snapped back, "What do you mean weird?" The radio quickly changed between station with the letters I D K appearing on the digital screen.
I parked as close to the door as I could and as I walked towards the door I felt a pull to look closer at the resource officer's car. As I walked towards it I didn't notice any changes in how I felt but I noticed that where it usually says, "To protect and to serve, " instead it says, "to punish and enslave." I couldn't hide my disgust and as I looked at the inside of the car I notice that the dash looked empty. There wasn't an odometer or radio there were gapping hole where they were supposed to be. Someone slapped my shoulder, a girl laughed, "What? Checking out the ride your going to be leaving in?" She sneered laughing with as she turned to her entourage.
I walked into the school and noticed the resource officer was talking to the principal in the hall. As I got closer I noticed a pull and as that happened the resource officer turned his head in my direction. I panicked looking at the ground and speeding up my pace. I could feel his eyes as I rushed down the hall. I spent the rest of the day trying to dodge the officer. The worst part was that he kept showing up outside my classes. When the final bell rang as I tried to bolt past he grabbed my left arm tightly and yanked me towards him with an inhuman strength. My arm immediately started getting hot and my head started spinning as he started dragging me towards the office. I could tell he was talking but I couldn't hear. By the time I was in the physical office I was about to black out and the last thing I remember was being tossed into one of the many chairs lining the walls.
Pain, my arms hurt and I hear metal hitting metal. I look towards the sound and see Jazz with twin pistols. There was a much larger transformer who attempted to shoot him but Jazz was far too nimble. I scrambled to my feet and started looking for places to hide. There was culvert near the school that was usually full of the worst students but right now I needed to get away. I ran down the embankment I could hear people laughing and I finally dashed inside finding beers all over and five of my classmates hanging on each other. One of the girl, Grace I think, looked up at me with horror in her eyes. They were all on there feet within second of me entering. There was a lot of cursing but Grace was the one who was actually helpful. She asked me, "OMG, are you okay, you look like you were thrown from a car." There was a loud slam above us making dust rain down on us. They realized what was happening and sobered up in seconds.
I was about to start talking when both Jazz and the Decepticon tumbled directly in front of the culvert. Everyone started screaming and everything went quiet as someone took over my body. My posture straightened and I turned towards the exit and reached out both hands. My stance widened and the blue energy poured out of my hands creating a see through blue wall and seconds after it was up an explosion hit the wall. As I stood there, becoming a wall all of my own I heard a voice, "Barricade, enough now isn't the time." My hair on my arms were standing up. The Decepticon punched Jazz one more time before climbing up the embankment and leaving with its tires screeching all the way out. I blinked a few times regaining control of my body the wall dissipating after a few seconds. I look back to see everyone holding each other and one guy recording on his phone. "Hey," I looked at the guy recording, "for your own safety I would delete that video and forget what you saw." He nodded before putting his phone in his pocket.

Need some cat advice!!! Also, I am descriptive as hell. Sorry for the novel, I over-explain.
I have 2 cats. Both female, both currently unfixed (appointments are being made, they just haven't yet because life got in the way, but it is high priority now) and a bit less than a year old. I also live in an apartment.
There is a hole in my cupboards that leads to outside. Early on after getting my first cat, she found it and got outside (I didn't yet know the hole was there, so it wasn't covered at the time or anything) and I found her in a space under the building that is too small for a person to get into. Luckily, the second she heard me she came to me so I could put her back inside. I covered the hole on my own, put cabinet locks on the two out of three cupboards that they fit on, and shoved a box in front of the last one to barricade it a bit. I also emailed the apartment to ask about maintenance coming in and properly doing something about the huge hole in my unit that leads outside that my cat likes to go through.
It took them a few months to actually come in and look at it, and in that time she found another way to get in the cupboards and go out again. She was in the same spot, came right to me when I went to get her, I found the new spot and blocked that off as well.
Last month, the maintenance man finally came in and looked at the hole. All they did was put a few pieces of masking tape over it and they didn't even cover all of the ways to get into the hole. I even told them that the tape looked flimsy as hell and a cat could break through it, they didn't care at all. But whatever, I guess. I had locks and little barricades and all of the things that I did myself.
I came home from work a few days ago and all of the boxes were moved FAR and the tape was shredded. She got out again, obviously. I'm surprised (but SUPER glad) my other cat didn't follow her, she was just chilling happy as a clam on my bed. I went out to where she usually goes because I assumed she'd hop right back up to me when I walked up like she had before. Nope!! Not at all!! I think she is in there, but I can't tell. It's a little crawlspace that people can't fit in at all, so it goes back far and is very dark. She could totally be hiding. I had a friend come over to check it out because (while I adore my cat and would shove my arm in the crawlspace for her in an instant) I'm a bit spooked by dark spaces like that and I trusted friend to be the type of person to shove his entire face into the creepy, spidery hole. He said that he definitely heard a meow in there but he couldn't really see without a good flashlight and all he had was his phone. It's also getting to be spring and I've seen a lot of strays out, so I am hoping that the meow was my kitty but that isn't confirmed. Also, since it's warming up a bit (and based on her behavior before she got out and the fact that she moved heavy boxes and shredded layers of tape to get out) she's most likely in heat.
I just don't know how to get her back out since she isn't coming over to me. My friend said that if kitty is in heat then I might need to give her a few days before I even see her and not to worry too much until it's been a little while. I put a blanket that she sleeps on every night on my outside chair just in case she comes out of the hole on her own and needs to smell out home. I also put a dish of food out, which I know I maybe shouldn't have because of how many strays I've seen but I put it directly in front of the hole. I had to run to the store but was planning to come back to the dish every so often to see if I could catch her sneaking out to eat and by the time I was back it was already empty.
I already know that when I do get her back I'll need to set up a vet appointment IMMEDIATELY to get her checked for pregnancy and just in general from being outside, then I'm getting her spayed the first available appointment they have for it. I'm also going to get my cupboards COVERED as much as I possibly can. Which isn't too much, the apartment I live in is shit, they don't seem to care to fix things correctly and I hear they hit people HARD with any damage costs and such so it's hard to take matters into your own hands on anything here. But I'll risk some potential future damage costs, the cupboard that I can't get a lock to work with might end up duct taped to hell and still barricaded. All I'm really stumped on is getting her out, or at least knowing that she's okay down there. I'd feel so much better if I saw her but wasn't able to catch her in time, to see that she CAN come out if she wants to but she just doesn't.

Separate Ways, Worlds Apart 6: The Lost Boy
Warnings: blood, violence
The ride from the field to Vecna's house was a silent one. Rebecca didn't know what to say after all that Eddie had confessed, she just knew that she had to let him know she felt the same. She couldn't do that in front of everyone though, not when Max was putting her life on the line to save Hawkins and the threat of the literal end of the world loomed over them. She was a part of the team, and she needed to keep up. She'd talk to Eddie later, once everything was settled, she'd talk to him and tell him that she loves him, too, and that he means everything to her. When Max, Erica, and Lucas got out of the vehicle, everyone wished them luck and Steve drove to the trailer park. By the time he found a secluded place to park, night had fallen and darkness surrounded them.
"Okay, are we ready?" Nancy said and strapped her sawed-off shotgun to her back.
"Yeah, let's go," Robin said and the six of them snuck off to Eddie's trailer. Rebecca was less apprehensive about entering it this time, but she still felt a sting behind her eyes at being so close to her best friend's murder site. Steve was the first inside and he looked back at the group after Eddie closed and locked the door.
"Good luck," Dustin told him.
"Thanks, buddy," Steve said and started to climb up the sheets. As he reached the threshold of the gate, he flipped over and landed on his feet. Rebecca smiled to herself because she knew that move--it was one she and Chrissy perfected for their cheer tryouts freshman year. They never named it, but it won them both top spots on the squad.
"See, I DO teach you things," Rebecca called after him when he looked up at the group.
"Does he expect us to applaud?" Robin scoffed and muttered sarcastically.
"Right? I can do that, too, Steven," Rebecca joked. In another moment, Steve returned with the mattress from the Upside Down Eddie's room and placed it down.
"Alright, come on!" Steve called. One by one, Nancy, Robin, Eddie, Dustin, and Rebecca filed into the Upside Down. Robin gave Nancy a boost to get up the sheet rope faster, and when Nancy landed, Rebecca noticed that she and Steve shared a moment of gazing into each other's eyes. Rebecca looked at Robin, who had also noticed and they shared a smile. Rebecca wondered if anyone had noticed when she and Eddie shared moments like that. With a huff, Dustin threw the gear up into the Upside Down. Rebecca knelt down for Eddie  to use her knee as a booster after he helped Dustin climb through. He gave her a soft smile and thanked her with a nod as he climbed up the sheet. Rebecca then made her way through and remembered how much fun Eddie and Robin had said going through the gate was, and she had to admit, the sudden change from climbing to falling was jarring, but fun. When she landed on the mattress, Eddie helped her up and the pair held onto each other's hands for a moment.
"You okay?" Eddie murmured to her. She nodded and took in her surroundings The air felt different. It was similar to how she felt when Vecna was invading her mind, but here it felt more real. The swirling particles Dustin mentioned danced around the group and they all shared a look before Steve directed everyone outside. When she stepped outside, she saw a flash of red lightning and thunder boomed through the sky. She mindlessly walked down the steps when Eddie halted her movements at the bottom of the steps just before she stepped on a black vine beneath her feet.
"It's a hive mind in here. You step on one of these, you're stepping on , all the vines, the bats, even Vecna. Be careful," Eddie said. Rebecca nodded and swallowed hard. The Upside Down's light was limited, but she could see Eddie's compassionate gaze through it and paired with how he had tied his bandana over his curly hair, she had a hard time tearing her eyes away from him.
"Eddie, Dustin and Becca, barricade this shit up. You're going to be drawing them to you, we don't need demobats loose in Hawkins, okay?" Steve directed the trio. "And listen, if things here start to go south, I mean AT ALL, you abort. Okay? Draw the attention of the bats, keep them busy for a minute or two, we'll take care of Vecna. Don't try to be cute or be a hero or something. I'm counting on you two to make sure she stays safe, got it? Not a scratch on my sister or you're both dead," Steve warned.
"We get it, Steve, we're decoys. Don't worry, you can be the hero..." Rebecca chided.
"Absolutely. I mean, look at us," Eddie said as he and Dustin shared a sarcastic and humorous look. "We are not heroes."
"Hey, Steve?" Rebecca said and stepped forward as Steve went to leave. Steve turned and looked at her. "Make him pay." Steve gave her a soft look and put a hand on her shoulder, then kissed her cheek quickly before walking away with Robin and Nancy to make their way toward the house. Dustin, Eddie, and Rebecca all looked at each other and got to work on boarding up the house with scraps from the surrounding houses. Dustin set up the drill and held it up.
"Gimme that. No power tools until you're 16 young man," Eddie scolded with a deep voice. Dustin's jaw dropped and he let go of the drill as Eddie took it. Rebecca admired how Eddie's ringed hand gripped the power tool and smiled to herself.
"You're just going to let him talk to me like that, Becca?" Dustin complained.
"Listen to your father, Dustin," Rebecca joked.
Dustin's face turned into an evil grin. "So that makes you my mom, then?"
Rebecca and Eddie said nothing and instead elected to start drilling the scraps in place to board up the house, taking precautions to not drill on the vines that covered the house. Once they had finished, the three went into the trailer again to double check for any holes the bats could get through. During the sweep, Rebecca and Eddie nearly ran into each other in the hallway.
"Oh, sorry," Eddie said and the two did an awkward dance trying to get around each other. Eddie put his hands on Rebecca's shoulders and moved them both around to face the other way. "There."
"Okay, it's all clear. I found your amp, let's get your guitar," Dustin said from next to them.
"Excellent," Rebecca said and they all headed toward Eddie's room.
"Now for the fun part," Eddie smiled and they entered his room. Directly across from them was rita, Eddie's beloved guitar, on display surrounded by vines with none of them touching her. Eddie's gaze landed on her and his expression was one of pure admiration and reverence.
"Wow," Dustin murmured.
"Jesus Chr..." Eddie whimpered. Dustin chuckled at Eddie's dramatics, but Rebecca knew that this was a serious moment for Eddie. He continued speaking, "It's like... she was destined for an alternate dimension."
Rebecca watched as Eddie reached his hand up and lifted the guitar off of the hook, his eyes still wide and a faint smile forming on his lips. The mirror behind the guitar showed the faces of all three in the reflection covered in dust, but the guitar was pristine. It felt as though Eddie's care and reverence for his instrument translated through time and space to care for this version of the guitar as well. Dustin gently grabbed the amplifier next to the dresser as Eddie spoke again.
"What do you say, Henderson, Becca? Are you guys ready for the most metal concert in the history of the world?" Eddie asked and looked at them both.
Dustin scoffed, "Is that a rhetorical question?"
Rebecca smiled at Eddie and he grinned as he used the strap to hoist Rita over his shoulder. The movement was quick, but done with purpose. Eddie's affect was one of a man with nothing to lose. He had done this a hundred times, but this one Rebecca felt was going to mean something. Eddie's expression as he looked over his instrument was one that was almost sad, like he might not ever see his guitar again after this.
"What song are you going to play?" Rebecca asked him.
"One that I've been working on nonstop for the past two weeks. Metallica's Master of Puppets, baby," Eddie said with a winning smile. Rebecca shrugged.
"I've not heard it," she said, which made Eddie smile wider.
"Then allow me to show you how to get to Neverland. With the best music in the world," Eddie said.
"I thought you flew to Neverland," Rebecca corrected. Eddie shook his head.
"Not in my world. In my world, you get there by shredding and getting lost in it. You'll see," Eddie explained and the three of them made their way onto the roof of the trailer.
After a few minutes, they were settled with Eddie standing and posing with his guitar and Dustin and Rebecca by the amplifier ready to plug in and turn it up to max volume.
"She's in, move on to phase three," Robin's voice said over the radio.
"Copy that, initiating phase three," Rebecca responded and looked at Eddie. "Melt some faces, lost boy."
"Let's hope they hear this," Dustin said and plugged the amp in. When the current was complete, a soft electric whine emitted from the amp's speaker, and Dustin turned a knob on it that made the feedback louder. He nodded to Eddie.
Eddie looked at Rebecca intensely and ripped the guitar pick off of his neck and positioned it so he was ready to play as his gaze met her eyes. "This is for you."
With a sharp yell, Eddie strummed on his guitar and the heavy metal chord echoed through the speaker. Eddie's intensity grew as he played the song. Rebecca remembered the other night when he was playing Rick's guitar--it was the same melody, but this one sounded even better. She watched as he not only played the guitar, but performed for her and Dustin. She understood what he meant about there being a reason Eddie was the frontman of his band, Corroded Coffin. Eddie was talented and his presence demanded an audience, and Rebecca was transfixed. She loved the way his hands played the notes and understood the terminology 'shredding' much better now. The melody played and was accented with thunderclaps and the red lightning as Eddie got more into his music. Dustin was bopping his head along with Eddie and the two headbanged in time with the purposeful chords. Rebecca was mesmerized and had her eyes so glued to Eddie that she almost forgot why they were there in the first place. She heard the distant screech of the bats and Eddie rested one of his feet on a vine as he continued to play. He shook his head and aimed his face to the red sky as if he was challenging Vecna to come at him with everything he could, Eddie wasn't scared. Eddie changed keys and Dustin looked with the binoculars for the bats.
"We gotta lock down in t-minus thirty seconds!" Dustin yelled over the music. Eddie acknowledged him with a nod and continued to play with purpose. After Dustin's second warning of 20 seconds, Eddie ferociously played the riff and shredded into a portion of the song that was meant to be the guitarist's spotlight, Rebecca was sure. Rebecca noticed his concentrated face and he played the solo expertly with his fingers moving quickly across the strings and the pick moving in time with his other hand. Rebecca felt an overwhelming sense of happiness and was so impressed as she watched him play that she nearly started to cry. His voice echoed in her head, "This is for you" and she felt it.
The bats shrieked and swarmed closer to them, which made Dustin yell once again over the music, "Ten seconds!"
Eddie bared his teeth in concentration as he played the fast notes, and just in time, he finished the solo.
"Let's go, let's go, let's go!" Dustin yelled. The bats started to swarm and Rebecca felt an ominous sense within her as they started to attack the house. The three of them hurried into the house and gasped for air as they were now out of danger.
"Dude..." Dustin began breathlessly. Eddie and Rebecca looked at him. "Most.. metal.. ever!"
Dustin and Eddie gripped onto each other and yelled in celebration as they jumped up and down. Rebecca laughed in relief and Eddie turned to her with a breathless and overjoyed smile.
"If you're going to kiss her, now would be the time to do it," Dustin said and he turned away from them with his hand covering his head. Rebecca's eyes went wide as she looked at Dustin and then her gaze went back to Eddie, who had just caught his breath.
"Fuck it all," Eddie murmured and in a swift movement, his hands were on either side of Rebecca's face and his lips were pressed firmly against hers in a deep, purposeful, and passionate kiss. Rebecca's body moved on its own as she pushed herself against him. She smoothed her hands over his face and tangled her fingers in his hair to deepen the kiss. She felt Eddie's grip on her become desperate, like he couldn't get close enough to her as they explored each other's mouths. Rebecca let out a soft whimper as she was overcome with emotion and she gripped onto him just as desperately.
Their kiss was interrupted by a loud crash from the side of the trailer. Their lips separated and the three of them looked around for where the bats were coming from.
"Shit, get by the exit," Rebecca said and they all stood back to back with weapons raised. They all stood quietly in the trailer with incandescent lights shining from Hawkins on them.
"Hey, dipshits! Give up that easy?!" Dustin screamed at the bats when the shaking of the trailer stopped.
"Sssh! Is that really necessary?" Eddie protested. There was a loud bang heard coming from the ceiling.
"They're on the roof..." Rebecca said quietly.
"Shit, shit, shit shit," Dustin swore under his breath.
The three of them aimed their weapons at the ceiling and followed the clatter to a small, circular vent that they hadn't boarded up.
"They can't get in through there, can they?" Dustin asked. A bat busted the opening and shrieked at the three of them. Rebecca swung at it and caught its mouth on the end of her bat. She swung down and bludgeoned it until it was nothing more than a bloody pulp on the floor while Dustin frantically stabbed at the incoming bats through the hole.
"Die! Die! Die! Die!" Dustin screamed with each jabbing motion. Rebecca probably would have laughed were she not so frightened. She grabbed one of the shields and handed it to Eddie, who smashed it into the vent and surrounding ceiling. The three of them took a deep breath and looked at each other.
"Holy shit," Eddie said through pants.
"Nice," Dustin congratulated.
"Thanks," Eddie said and the two of them high-fived.
"Are there any other vents?" Dustin asked.
"Shit," Rebecca said and the three scrambled through the house again and into Eddie's room where they were just in time to see the swarm emerge from Eddie's floor vent. Rebecca grabbed Eddie's shield through the bats and slammed the vent shut with it while swinging and killing two others with her barbed wire and nail bat. Eddie and Dustin double-teamed the four remaining bats in the trailer and the three of them escaped the room after Eddie pulled Rebecca out and slammed the door. The three of them backed away from the door, and Rebecca saw that the wood was beginning to splinter.
"That's not going to hold!" Dustin said.
"Let's go!" Eddie screamed. Rebecca and Eddie pushed Dustin up and he climbed through the gate.
"Here, I'll boost you," Eddie said and knelt down with his hands cupped and braced for her shoe. She nodded and gripped the rope, then climbed quickly with the help of Eddie back through the gate. She righted herself and shouted to Eddie after she fell onto the mattress.
"Come on, I'll pull you through," Rebecca said and she reached her hand up. Eddie tossed his spear aside and gripped the rope. Rebecca watched as he looked at the door, then slowly back up at the gate.
“Eddie, come on!!” she screamed. He started to climb the rope after a second as Dustin continued to encourage him and Rebecca reached for him.
“Eddie, you’re so close, come on!” Dustin yelled. Rebecca watched Eddie look at the door again, then back up at her with a somber and decisive look.
“Eddie… Eddie, no,” Rebecca told him. “Stick to the plan, Eddie!”
“I love you,” he told her tenderly and grabbed the spear. Despite her and Dustin’s desperate pleas, Eddie quickly cut the rope. Both ends fell to either side of the gate and Dustin began to panic. With one last look, Eddie grabbed his spear and ran toward the door.
“Fucking EDWARD MUNSON, GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!” Rebecca screamed. She looked around and thinking quickly, she grabbed Dustin’s shoulders.
“Dustin! I need you to help me. I need you to boost me through the gate, okay? Can you do that?” Dustin was panicked and he nodded through tears.
Rebecca instructed him to kneel down and when she jumped, to lift his hands. They lined up with the gate’s entrance and Rebecca got in position.
“Try to make the chain longer so we can climb back through,” Rebecca said. On three, she was launched into the air and as soon as she felt herself start to fall, she flipped and landed on her feet in the Upside Down. She felt excruciating pain in her right ankle as her bat had fallen out of her grasp and run along her leg. She made sure she wasn’t going to bleed out immediately and picked the bat up as she ran out the door of the trailer. On her way out, she saw that the door to Eddie's room ahd been obliterated, but no bats were to be found.
She burst through the door and looked for any sign of Eddie. She looked out into the street and saw a swarm of bats at the end of the block circling around Eddie as he yelled and challenged them with his arms open.
"Eddie, get out of there!" Rebecca screamed at him as she ran toward the swarm. As she ran toward them, the bats started to attack him relentlessly and Rebecca couldn’t move fast enough. Rebecca saw Eddie get a few good hits in, but by the time Rebecca had gotten to him, Eddie was pulled and pinned to the ground by five bats, one at each limb and one at his neck with several others beginning to chew into his flesh at various parts of his body. Eddie's agonized scream was enough for Rebecca to will her body next to him and come to his defense. Rebecca swung her bat and repelled the bats that were trying to eat his abdomen, then smashed the ones holding his neck and arms. Rebecca continued to defend Eddie from bats  attacking Eddie as he kicked the creatures from his feet off. OInce he regained control of his body, he grabbed his spear again. He also had gathered one of the shields from the trailer vents and used it to defend attacks from the front.
Suddenly, with a terrible scream, the bats fell to the ground around the pair. They dropped from the sky and their bodies surrounded Rebecca and Eddie, who looked at each other in cautious delight and confusion.
“Are… are they dead? Did they do it?” Eddie asked while panting to catch his breath.
“Looks like it… Let’s get out of here before they wake back up,” Rebecca said and the two of them started to make their way back to the trailer as quickly as possible. They were a little more than halfway down the block before Rebecca heard a defeated sigh from Eddie.
“Oh, shit..” Rebecca heard Eddie gasp out and he fell to his knees next to her.
“Hey, hey, hey… No, come on, Eddie, we gotta go,” Rebecca pleaded and slid on the ground to him. He moved from supporting himself on his hands and knees to on his back with a soft thud, but Rebecca was able to catch him and support his head and chest in her lap. She looked at his face—it was dirty with a small amount of blood from his nose and his eyes were damp with tears.
“I just need to lie here for a second, I think,” Eddie choked out. Rebecca looked over his body and saw the injuries had taken a toll on him. He had bite marks along his stomach and chest with a few on his legs that all appeared to be slowly but steadily oozing.
“Come on, Eddie, we gotta get you to a hospital. I need you to get up, baby, come on,” Rebecca breathed out as her eyes filled with tears.
“I’m glad that… At least I finally got that kiss,” Eddie breathed out weakly and looked up at her with a smile. Rebecca let out a small sob as she smiled back at him and held his face in her hands. Eddie wasn’t going to get up on his own, and she couldn’t carry him herself. She put a hand to the side of his face and let a few tears fall as she weakly tried to stop the bleeding from his side wound.
“Hey! HEY!” Rebecca heard Dustin’s voice call desperately. Rebecca felt like she could fly she was so happy to see Dustin. He was limping, but he was making his way toward them.
“DUSTIN! He’s over here, he needs a hospital!” Rebecca yelled.
“Little shit couldn’t let me die, could he?” Eddie gasped out.
“Not on our watch,” Rebecca said. Eddie smiled faintly as Dustin approached and the two managed to get Eddie supported by his arms over their shoulders. Eddie’s head flopped to the side and landed on Rebecca’s shoulder. She and Dustin pulled Eddie back to the gate where a long, thick rope was hanging through.
“How are we going to get him up there, he’s almost unconscious,” Rebecca panicked.
“I called an ambulance before I came in, they should be here,” Dustin said and cheered in delight when he looked up to find about four EMS personnel were looking up in confusion.
“Make sure he stays on me, okay? I’m going to climb through,” Rebecca said and moved to wrap Eddie’s arms around her like a backpack. Dustin helped to alleviate some of the weight by pushing up on Eddie, but Rebecca had to carry most of him. When she reached the threshold, a large, burly man pulled Eddie off of her and she fell onto the mattress below. She rolled off the mattress in time for Dustin to fall next to her. She rushed over to where Eddie was being placed onto a bed  and was already hooked up to a bag of fluids and an oxygen mask. The bandage materials seemed to be at least slowing the bleeding from his wounds. It was hard to see Eddie like that, but it was worse to see him slowly bleed out.
“You guys aren’t from Hawkins,” Dustin said curiously.
“No, honey, we’re from Indianapolis. Disaster relief,” one of the men said that was assessing Dustin.
“Wait, where are you taking him?!” Rebecca asked as Eddie was starting to be loaded up into the ambulance.
“The main hospital to stabilize, then transfer probably,” one of the EMS men said.
“I’m coming, too,” Rebecca said and stepped up into the truck.
They didn’t fight with her, but the one assessing Dustin wouldn’t allow him to get up, claiming something about a possible broken bone. Rebecca nodded to Dustin and he nodded back at her with an unspoken promise to make sure Eddie pulled through. The door shut and the sirens blared as the people in the truck were looking at the monitors they had Eddie hooke dup to and talking about them. Rebecca sat right next to Eddie and he was so close that she could touch him, but it was more important that the medical staff be able to move in the way they needed to within the cramped truck.
“Is he going to be okay?” Rebecca whimpered out.
“I think we got to him just in time, but he lost a lot of blood,” one of the females said. “Was this an animal attack? When earthquakes happen, a lot of the time animals get real spooked and attack people.”
“Something like that, yeah…” Rebecca responded.
“We’ll give him the rabies shot just in case."
Rebecca's attention was pulled by Eddie's groan. She rushed to his side and he was looking at her with tired and worn eyes. His hand weakly reached for her and she took it gently.
"I'm here, Ed. You're going to be okay," Rebecca told him and clasped his hand in both of hers.
"T-take this," he stammered out. "Please."
Rebecca felt a small chain and plastic triangle attached in his hand. She looked down and saw that Eddie was still holding onto his guitar pick. She looked back up and him as she held it close.
"It's my acorn," Eddie smirked. Rebecca smiled tenderly and held it in her hand with his hands. Eddie slipped in and out of consciousness throughout the short ride to the hospital and Rebecca was surprised that  she could answer almost every fact about him; his full name, his birthdate, his medicatons and medical history were all things that she knew about Eddie.
"Okay Miss Harrington, we'll take him in and once he's admitted then we'll give you the room number, okay? Go ahead and call anyone else who would need to know about him," the woman EMS told her and she took Eddie into the hospital.
Rebecca stepped out and looked around. There were several tents set up outside and the hospital that read "DISASTER  RELIEF" in red letters with nearly the entire town in attendance. When she stepped inside the hospital, it looked to be overrun at the moment. She saw Eddie get rushed into a back room after a couple people looked at him and she clutched the guitar pick. She wondered why so many people were at the hospital and what exactly had happened while she was in the Upside Down. She didn't want to leave Eddie, but she had to let Wayne know his nephew was found and alive for now.
"Rebecca!" she heard Steve's voice call from behind her. She turned around and saw Steve, Nancy, Robin, Lucas, and Erica all standing there with forlorn faces. Rebecca ran over to them and hugged Steve.
"What happened, where's Dustin? Where's Eddie?" Steve asked.
"Eddie went... he got.. he's back there and they're looking at him... he lost so much blood," Rebecca gasped out through sobs.
"Oh shit, I told him not to be a hero," Steve grumbled.
"What about Dustin?" Nancy asked.
"We left him at the trailer. The paramedic said he might have a broken leg, but he's okay," Rebecca managed to say.
"Okay, he'll end up here eventually, we just have to wait for him," Erica said.
"Where's Max?" Rebecca asked when she noticed the foul-mouthed redhead nowhere in sight. The group shifted uncomfortably and Lucas walked away.
"Her heart stopped for a minute... That's how Vecna was able to open up all his gates," Steve told her. Rebecca gasped and covered her mouth in shock.
"So where is Vecna now?" she asked. Nancy shrugged.
"He was on fire and fell through the window, but when we went down, he was gone," Nancy said.
"So what I'm hearing is you missed. How the hell are we going to prove Eddie's innocence, then?!" Rebecca seethed at Nancy. Nancy looked taken aback and Steve pulled Rebecca away from her.
"Hey, that's not helpful, okay? She didn't miss, she shot him like 3 times," Steve said.
"In the head?" Rebecca asked.
"Well... no, in the stomach," Steve said. Rebecca took a deep breath and looked at Nancy, whose expression was guilty and unsure.
"I'm sorry. Do you have any idea where he might be?" she asked. Nancy relaxed and shook her head.
"No, but... Max died for a full minute and her heart just started up again... that doesn't make any sense unless--" Nancy said.
"Eleven was there. Somehow, El has to have something to do with Max's survival, I know it," Lucas said.
"Munson," a nurse called out and Rebecca's head whipped around and made a beeline for her.
"What happened, is he okay?" she asked.
"He's going to surgery now to flush out his wounds and we'll put him in room six when he's done. You can wait there," she said in a hurried tone. Rebecca nodded.
"I'll come with you, the rest of you guys can wait for and update on Max and Dustin," Robin said.
Steve looked at Rebecca and nodded with an encouraging smile as they separated. Rebecca felt like she was sitting in the room for hours. In the time that she had been waiting for Eddie, she had tried about three different avenues to contact Wayne, but no such luck. She looked out the window of the room to see the town in shambles with dark clouds covering the sky. She wondered if those were Vecna’s doing or not, but she wasn’t too concerned. Robin turned on the small TV in the room and a burley news anchor was standing in front of the town’s main hall that had crumbled. It was nearly midday now and reports of fatalities were coming in. They moved on to missing people, and out of the pictures Rebecca spotted Jason’s yearbook photo and her heart sank. She didn’t have any romantic feeling for him now, but she still cared about him. She wondered if he was truly missing or if the vision of his body vaporizing Vecna showed her had been his fate. She shuddered at the thought and took a deep breath. Robin looked at her and smiled encouragingly before a bed rolled in with fluids and monitors following behind with three people. Rebecca looked and saw Eddie’s state on the hospital bed. It looked like they had cleaned him up from head to toe apart from his hair, which was wild and unkempt around his face. He appeared to be sleeping and was still on oxygen, but his wounds were bandaged and he looked to be recovering.
“Are you two related to him?” a man in a white coat asked.
“Um, well, his relatives aren’t quite here yet,” Rebecca started.
“She’s his girlfriend and I’m just a friend,” Robin clarified with a winning smile. Rebecca blushed and nodded at the prospect of being called Eddie’s girlfriend. They had kissed and he professed his feelings to her, but she had yet to do the same.
“Well, in that case, Eddie’s going to be okay. We were able to get his blood pressure up with just fluids and we stopped the bleeding. Those were some pretty nasty bites, so we gave him the rabies shot as a precaution. I won’t be able to print you off any official papers, so you’ll have to remember that once he’s out of our care, he’ll need some stitches out in 2 weeks, okay?” the doctor said to Rebecca.
“Two weeks, got it. When will he wake up?” she asked. “And when can he go home?”
“Waking up probably within the hour. Going home might prove a bit more challenging given the state the town’s in, but he should be out of our care sometime either tonight or tomorrow,” the doctor said.
“Thank you,” Rebecca said and looked at Eddie as the doctor left the room. His face was surrounded by his wild curls and Rebecca went to stroke his face gently. At her touch, Eddie’s eyes fluttered open and he looked at her with tired eyes and a small smile beneath the mask.
“Eddie,” Rebecca breathed out and took his hand in hers.
“Hey,” he croaked out.
“H-How are you? Are you in pain?” Rebecca asked with tears in her eyes.
“No, no, I’m okay. Don’t cry, princess, I’m okay,” Eddie said and used his thumb to wipe her tears away.
“Holy shit, Eddie,” Robin gasped out after seeing the damage the bats did to him.
“That bad, huh?” Eddie said and glanced at her. Rebecca and Eddie’s hands were laced together and Rebecca held onto him.
“I’m really glad they gave you the rabies vaccine. That’s one of my biggest fears is rabies,” Robin rambled.
“Eddie?” Dustin’s voice said from the door. Eddie went to sit up, but Rebecca and Robin worked together to make the bed upright rather than flat and Eddie smiled at Dustin.
“Dustin,” he said. Dustin’s sobs were quieted by hugging Eddie and burying his face in the older boy’s shoulder. Eddie hugged him back and patted his head full of curls.
“I’m okay,” Eddie said again and looked at Rebecca briefly before letting Dustin go.
“What did the doctors say, Dustin?” Rebecca asked and hugged him.
“Nothing’s broken, so I’ll just be limping for a bit,” he said with a smile.
“Did you catch up with the others? See how Max was doing?” Robin asked worriedly.
Dustin’s face fell. “Yeah… she’s in a coma. Lucas is devastated.”
“Shit,” Eddie swore. “What about Vecna?”
“He got away,” Robin said with a sigh. Eddie nodded and hung his head slightly.
“So it’s only a matter of time before the cops take me,” Eddie said. “Or worse, Jason and his angry mob find me.”
“I doubt it in all of this chaos. Natural disasters tend to take precedence over bullshit rumors,” Robin mused. Rebecca smiled and sat next to Eddie’s bed and held his hand. He smiled at her and rubbed the top of her hand with his thumb gently.
“I’ll uh… Dustin, why don’t we go and check on the rest of our group with Max and let them know Eddie’s fine, hm?” Robin suggested.
“Hm?” Dustin asked, then looked at Rebecca and Eddie’s hands, then back at Robin and smiled. “You know, I could really go for a coffee, too.”
“Absolutely not, you do not need that,” Robin protested as the two of them walked out of the room.
After a silence, Rebecca was the first to speak. “You know, you never really gave me a chance to respond.”
Eddie raised a brow at her. “Respond to what?”
“Ed, you told me you love me. Twice,” Rebecca said. “And I… I didn’t say anything.”
“You don’t have to. I didn’t expect you to, either. Like I said, I just needed you to hear it from me how I felt,” Eddie said.
“Well now I need you to hear how I feel. And… I love you, too, Eddie,” Rebecca told him and bit her lower lip. Her cheeks were hot and flushed as she looked at him, and he smiled widely.
“I’m glad,” he breathed out.
“No more self-sacrifice, okay?” Rebecca told him. Eddie chuckled and nodded.
“Sure thing, princess.”

I felt special.
Haven't smiled this much in a long, long time.
Started the day anxious and disappointed in myself. I'd waited 18 years to see this man live, and I was finally doing it. Only thing that kept me from enjoying the process was me. The makeup wasn't good enough. The outfit I had planned was too revealing. I only gave myself an hour to get ready. I left the house feeling defeated. The few things I could control about this day were out the window.
Get to the venue. I'm in line 2.5 hours before doors open. The opening act walks out the front of the building to grab boba from down the street and I ask for a photo.
I befriend a couple, a girl a few years younger than me and her boyfriend. They have 4 cats like I do. We immediately hit it off. (N&D)
Opening act comes out again and crosses the street to get starbucks. As he walks back into the building, he passes me and smiles, his eyebrows raising. Once he's in the building (D) looks over at me and says "I saw that eyebrow raise! He's hitting on you!" It meant more coming from a guy. He'd understand more than I would I suppose.
20 or so minutes later, opener comes outside a g a i n . This time he starts walking in the opposite direction of me but soon turns and says to me "are you the person who got a picture earlier?" I reply yes. He hands me a merchandise t-shirt of his. It's in the perfect size, no tags, and smells strongly of cologne. Good cologne. I thank him and he walks off. I look over at my new friends and we all feel a little giddy about the whole thing.
It could've been something he did to be nice. I wasn't the only one who asked for photos, but the other's who HAD had been let into the venue early for VIP ventures. It could've been for a different girl. But now that I think about it, when he came out for starbucks I believe the VIP line had already been outside.
Regardless, I'm aware that it could've been something he did to be kind. But something about it felt cute. He just brought me a free t-shirt smelling like him. It's a strong scent, something I didn't notice on him when I took the photo with him. Someone definitely sprayed it.
I don't know. I felt special.
I was told to try to get his attention again, ask for his number, and other things of the sort. I didn't want to be a bother. Or just come off as plain weird.
Went inside finally and found out I was able to participate in "standing room" areas. Up until this point I had been under the assumption that my ticket secured me a seat in the back of the theater. The VIPs and those who purchased meet and greet tickets were supposed to be the only ones with access to the "pit" area. Turns out it just meant they'd be first to get to the barricade. However I, and my new friends, managed to get front row/second row spots, depending on the movement of the crowd.
Because of my new friends, I was able to use the bathroom with (N), something I'd been very nervous about having the opportunity to do seeing as I'd be attending the concert alone. He held my things for me. That was very nice. I had people I could trust which was rare enough. And for it to be people I'd just met...
I asked (N) to go get the shirt Opener had given me from (D) so I could put it on before he went on stage.
(N) and I got back to the standing area and quickly met another girl, (A). She was a year or so older than me. She's from out of state. We both graduated with the same degree and have very similar career goals. Incredible.
The 4 of us stick together. I spilled some celebrity drama I probably shouldn't have.
(A) and I practically shared the front row spot. We both left enough room between us and the barricade so that we had a window we could share a front row view from. (N) was also next to me, sharing this spot as well, (D) right next to her.
The show was great. Opener blew me away with his vocals, JM was an awesome performer. I didn't have any expectations of him going into it. I'd just wanted to see him for so long, I'd been a fan since I was 6. He could've sat on the stage in silence and I still would've been happy to see him.
Concerts are so much more fun when you have friends to share it with.
And then he mentioned my man. My favorite artist in the world. One of the most talented man I've ever heard of. MY musician of choice. All my friends looked over at me and I just about melted. I think I swooned. I don't know if he meant to do an impersonation of this artists, but he sounded just like him for a moment and all I could do was smile. I've been trying to find a clip of him talking about this other artist on youtube but it seems like my concert was the only one he told this little story of the two of them to. A sign? Another relief. More euphoria.
I left the venue after saying goodbye to (N&D) and having a decent conversation with (A) about life, my legs feeling like jelly from standing for 7 hours and my feet aching like hell from my poor choice of footwear.
All the pain I felt tonight, all the anxiety leading up to it, the stresses of getting ready physically and emotionally, all of it was worth it for what I experienced tonight. Friendship. Acceptance. Relief. Live music. Fulfillment of a life-long dream. Acknowledgement. It was all so, so worth it.
Got home feeling giddy and high. Removed the shirt from Opener and hung it up in my closet. It's been 2 hours and I still haven't removed my makeup or changed out of my jeans. I'm afraid that when I do this will all be over.
As I write this, I turn to look over my shoulder and I still smell of Opener. And I smile.
