If I could change one thing about Harry Potter canon it would be that Sirius lived just long enough to find out that Regulus turned on Voldemort. That's it. He can still die since she thought that needed to happen. But I need him to know Regulus fought back.

HP boys when Their s/o gets Drunk
Warning: SFW, Fluff
Feat: Severus Snape, Fred Weasley, George Weasley, Neville Longbottom
Tumblr media
Severus Snape
-Severus Snape, known for his solemn demeanor, would likely react by showing concern for his partner's well-being.
-He would be mindful of their safety and would prioritize ensuring they were taken care of.
- While Snape may not show outward emotions, he would quietly work to sober them up and prevent any potential harm.
-Once they have sobered up, Snape might have a serious conversation about responsible behavior and the consequences of excessive drinking.
Fred Weasley
- known for his mischievous and fun-loving personality, would approach the situation with humor and light-heartedness.
-He would likely tease his drunk partner, making jokes and lightening the mood.
- Fred would try to make them laugh and enjoy the moment, but would also keep a close eye on their well-being.
- He would ensure they were safe and supported, and would probably have a good laugh together the next day as they reminisced about the drunken antics.
George Weasley
- like his twin brother Fred, would approach the situation with a playful attitude.
-He would use humor to diffuse any potential tension or worry, creating a cheerful environment for his partner.
-George would take care of them, ensuring their safety and well-being, but also take the opportunity to lightheartedly poke fun at their drunken behavior.
-He would likely join in on the fun and may even share a drink with them once they've both sobered up and recovered.
Neville Longbottom
- with genuine concern and worry for his partner.
-He would prioritize their safety and would want to make sure they were taken care of. Neville would gently encourage them to slow down or stop drinking, trying to help them regain control. He would likely be the responsible one, ensuring they got home safely and providing comfort and support.
- Neville would likely have a heart-to-heart conversation afterwards, expressing his worries and discussing responsible alcohol consumption.

why snape isnt treated like the other death eaters. The hatred of Snape has been the most longstanding controversial topic in the marauders fandom. There will always be people arguing out the whole James vs. Snape thing. We see the first scene of the marauders during their time at Hogwarts in the third book. The first posted fanfiction with him in it in 2000, ‘The Whomping Willow’ by Blaise, shows Sirius carrying out that scene— the prank. So, if we go back to when the third book was written, its clear that the fandom is not just built on wolfstar and jily, but the prank and the fallout of it.
Considering how deep rooted Snape’s hatred for the marauders actually is, why hasn’t he changed like the other characters have? One, is that his character has the most canon out of all of them. Harry spends the most time with him, and hearing from his parents from him. Canon, while many people don't like it, plays a huge role in how we view the marauders. Then, when Regulus and his friends started gaining popularity, they were relatively blank slates. In order to make them likable to the marauders, they were also given the same aversion to Snape. It also helped that they don’t have years of canon tension with them besides the relationship between the black brothers. This means, fans were able to shape them however they wanted and create a positive link between the slytherin skittles and the marauders.
Snape’s legacy in the fandom is snily, slurs, and the prank which will probably hold its shape even during the transition into AU’s. In fanfiction today he is either left out entirely or written as a character that plays both sides. A good example of this is in Kill Your Darlings by Messermoon, where he is getting a business degree so he can fix the injustices he sees in the world. The question is whether or not he should change as a character. Would it be beneficial for more people to like him or would we lose one of the things that keeps the fandom tied to the original story?

I never read or watched Harry Potter, so I don't know much about canon, but -
Snape and Peter were both Death eaters, right? And Sirius wasn't. So Snape probably knew that Peter outed the Potters, and not Sirius. When Snape went to Dumbledore to become his spy, why didn't he mention that "oh, by the way, Black is innocent, it was Pettigrew who betrayed the Potters"? Is this somehow explained in the books or movies?
Did Snape just hate Sirius so much for the prank that happened years ago that he just decided to leave Sirius to rot in Azkaban? Or did he genuinely not know? Was it even possible for Snape (a pretty high position Death eater) to not meet Peter (also a pretty high position Death eater)?
Someone who knows canon, please give me answers

I'm so sorry but sometimes I feel like the Harry Potter fandom tries too hard to make certain characters look too cool. Case in point: the Slytherins. As a Slytherin myself I'm biased to say it's the coolest house, yes, BUT
Draco Malfoy was a simpering little coward, he was NOT a cool, cigarette-smoking Little Lord with a muggle shirt on (that's all Tom Felton)
Theodore Nott is described as "weedy", "stringy," and "rabbity" and yet somehow he always looks like a god in fanfictions. He wasn't even that close with Draco, there's no indication they were friends.
Regulus Black was NOT a poor misunderstood little soul, he was the less attractive brother, less charismatic, he was a blood-supremacist, and he was a Voldemort fanboy all throughout Hogwarts (he had a room full of newspaper clippings of him and all the DE attacks!). And yes, he did redeem himself, but much like Snape he probably wasn't that good of a person.
Pansy Parkinson is described as ugly, and stupid, and she's also quite nasty and a stereotypical mean girl.
This is not to say that these characters shouldn't be explored in the fandom, but I would love to see more realistic depictions of their flaws and shortcomings because they feel more like real people in the very limited lines they have in the books than in all of the fan meta/etc. written about them.
I would love to explore them more but I hate when they are just name-holders for people's Mary Sues and OCs.
Give me resentful, mean, small, bitter Theodore Nott who's highly individualistic and resentful of Draco Malfoy because he's not that much better of a wizard and only gets on in Slytherin house because of his surname. Give me neo-Death Eater Theo Nott in book 7 who rejoices like the others at the Malfoys' humiliation.
Jegulus has somehow become a trend??? All right, even as a crack!ship it has so much potential for drama. Give me a good reason why James Potter is attracted to Sirius' hateful, resentful little shit of a brother and the drama that comes from that because Sirius would never forgive him if he ever found out. And give me a bitter and angry Regulus that only gets close to James to get back at his brother/to get info on Voldemort's behalf/for whatever reason and then James grows on him? He can't decide if he likes him or hates him.
And by the way, let's quit it with the abusive relatives in Slytherin. I'm pretty sure Walburga was but not because she cursed her children. Emotional manipulation while being perfectly convinced you're in the right is a trap into which even good parents fall, in the real world. Draco Malfoy's parents were anything but abusive, I don't even think they were cold towards their son. Yes, they were racist jerks, but they truly loved their child, Lucius too.

Epilogue, HP Microfic, 2554 words.
We all hate the epilogue, so I re-wrote it. Enjoy.
Harry stood in the kitchen of one of his favourite places in the world, and noted that, for the first time he could remember, the Burrow was silent. He placed his hands on the benchtop and gazed out the window at the small and sombre band of people gathered in the overgrown yard.
It had been four days since the battle of Hogwarts; days which had felt to be some of the longest of Harry’s life, bar perhaps, some of his more arduous stints at Privet Drive. He hung his head, diverting his eyes from the scene in front of him. Behind him he heard a noise, and turning, saw Ginny emerge from the staircase, her eyes red, though her face was set firm. He had seen that fiery resolve in her face many times before and reached out for her hand. She took it and, with a gesture of her head, indicated that it was time for them to join the others.
They walked through the backdoor and into the garden, the sky pearly grey above them to mark the occasion. The Weasleys were gathered around a freshly dug hole in the ground, beside which stood a rough-hewn coffin. Harry stole himself as he looked at it and turned his head, taking in those around him.
Mr and Mrs Weasley stood at the head of the grave, Mrs Weasley sobbing into Mr Weasley’s shoulder, whose face was set into a mask of stony grief. To their right stood Andromeda Tonks, stroking the face of the blue haired baby she carried in her arms. Harry closed his eyes, remembering heavily Lupin and Tonks’ funeral of the previous day. It had been a small affair, and a devastating setting for Harry to meet his godson, feeling as he had held him for the first time, an overwhelming sense of responsibility for the fate of his parents.
Standing near Andromeda were Bill and Fleur, Fleur resting against Bill’s chest, the picture of regal sadness. Charlie stood beside them, one arm slung around Percy's shoulders, eyes downcast. Near the foot of the grave stood George, flanked by Angelina Johnson and Lee Jordan. Harry thought that he had never seen a person look more lost. George was staring into the grave intently, as if filled with longing to join his twin, as he had in all other adventures. Angelina was clutching his arm and sniffing with repressed sobs, while Lee simply looked shocked, as though expecting Fred to leap from behind a bush at any moment.
Next to Harry stood Ron and Hermione, locked in a tight embrace. Tears were dripping off the end of Ron’s long nose as he buried his head in Hermione’s bushy hair, her own face wet from crying. Slightly off to the side sat Hagrid, who clutched a bottle of firewiskey in one hand and an overlarge plaid handkerchief in the other.
Nobody present wore dress robes or had followed in the Muggle tradition of wearing black, their grief was worn on their faces and banished all need for ceremony.
Harry exchanged a glace with Ron, and found he had no words of comfort to offer. Gripping tighter to Ginny’s hand, he turned to Mr Weasley. A sense of quiet expectation settled over the crowd.
Mr Weasley stepped forward, disengaging gently from a still shaking Molly, and raised his wand. Softly, the coffin was lifted from the ground and slowly lowered into the open grave. Harry heard it land with a soft thud, the finality of which shook him to his core. George turned his face, looking away from the grave for the first time.
‘My son,’ began Mr Weasley, voice clear, though slightly unsteady, ‘was a man unlike any other,’ he gave George a small look and continued, ‘save for his partner in crime and in life.’  A small gasp of mirth seemed to be wrenched from the mourners, as George began to cry in earnest.
‘I will never be able to understand why it was that he was taken from us, as so many were, by this terrible war,’ continued Mr Weasley, ‘but I do know, that he died because he fought. That he was brave, and rash, and would never, for one second, have let the fight go on without him.’ Some more tortured chuckles were released from the crowd.
‘Fred, I will love you until the day I die, as will everyone here. But I know that you walk beside us, possibly tying our shoelaces together when we’re not looking…’ another gasping laugh.
‘Fred died fighting for what was right, and to protect the people he loved, and each of us must honour him by going forth and living our lives with love in our hearts and laughter in our days.’
Harry’s face felt hot and tears prickled his eyes as a smile broke through the pain. Mr Weasley stepped back from the grave and raised his wand, ready to fill the grave with the adjacent pile of dirt when suddenly, a strange thumping noise echoed over the garden.
‘Arthur-,’ said Mrs Weasley, sharply, grasping Mr Weasley’s arm and staring into the grave, ‘listen…’ The thumping sound was growing louder and more pronounced, and every onlooker shuffled forward to peer into the grave, looking at the coffin intently.
With a blast the sound of a canon, the coffin burst open, and explosions suddenly filled the air. For a mad second, Harry thought that Fred had come charging out, but soon realised that hundreds of Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes fireworks were pouring out of the coffin, emitting loud cracks and bangs and expanding out of the grave. Dragons and pinwheels rocketed up into the overcast sky, and letters forming the words “saint like” danced around their heads. Harry whipped his head to look at George, who was grinning widely through a sheen of tears. He looked around at his family, who, like Harry, had turned to him, and shrugged,
‘We had a pact,’ he said simply, looking sheepish and heartbroken all at once. A laugh rang out among the crowd, loud and shrill. Harry looked around to discover that, unexpectedly, it was emanating from Mrs Weasley. She was laughing so hard that her body shook, and she fell to her knees, stroking the grass at the very head of the Grave, peering into the coffin lovingly, her laughs mingled with sobs.
At this, though they had been momentarily frozen in surprise, the rest of the party began to laugh too, haltingly at first, through with increased fervour. Ron was smiling despite himself and running his hands over his disbelieving face. Lee and Angelina were beaming as they watched rockets and hippogriffs soar above them. Teddy was staring at the fireworks completely enrapt, and Bill and Charlie were smirking, exchanging knowing looks at their brothers’ antics.
Harry felt a relaxing of the tightness in his chest as he admired the colours and sparks of the superb firework display and knew that Fred wanted them to celebrate him, not mourn. He laughed as one of the fireworks performed a particularly rude gesture, which, again unexpectedly, made Molly redouble with laughter.
The group laughed and cried and traded stories about Fred as the dusk turned the sky to a faint pink and the fireworks flew all around them and off into gathering night.
Harry followed the others as they trouped inside, the Burrow feeling warmer now than it had all day. Mr Weasley lit a fire with his wand and promptly began distributing firewiskey, while Mrs Weasley busied herself in the kitchen, wiping her eyes on her apron as she went. Hagrid, having brought up the rear and squeezed himself arduously through the door, now sat on the hearth, swigging liberally at his flagon and telling Angelina about a time that he had discovered Fred and George in the Forbidden Forest during one of his visits to Aragog.
‘Never seen a more meddlin’ pair ‘an these two I reckon!” he said, his words slurred slightly. ‘’cept you lot.’ he added, gesturing the flagon accusingly at Harry, Ron and Hermione, who all exchanged sheepish smiles.
Mrs Weasley brought out copious amounts of food and they passed the evening feasting on delicious mince pies and treacle tart as they swapped increasingly rude stories about Fred and George’s famous wrongdoings, some of which took Mr and Mrs Weasley so aback they managed to half-heartedly chide George.
As the night progressed, the conversation turned to the events which had transpired following the downfall of Voldemort. The entire ministry was in disarray according to Mr Weasley.
Harry found himself in the kitchen, leaning against the sink and asking about the state of affairs at Hogwarts when Kingsley Shacklebolt strode through the door.
‘Arthur,’ he said solemnly, shaking Mr Weasley’s hand ‘I’m sorry I couldn’t be here for the funeral, I came as soon as I could, the Ministry’s in absolute chaos.’
‘Of course,’ said Mr Weasley, ‘thank you for coming.’
‘Fred was a good man,’ said Kinglsey gravely, ‘Harry,’ he nodded, shaking Harry’s hand also, ‘how are you?’
‘I’m alright,’ replied Harry, ‘How is everything? Is the Ministry going to be okay?’
‘Oh yes, it’ll be fine,’ said Kingsley, shaking his head, ‘The Death Eaters did a number on it but we’ll have it put right soon enough. In fact,’ he added, ‘we could use your help.’ Harry thought about it, considered everything that the Ministry had put him through and a not dissimilar conversation he had had with Scrimgeour a year prior. Kingsley, sensing his apprehension, shrugged,
‘You don’t have to of course, Merlin knows you’ve done enough, we won’t ask you to die for us again.’ he said with a wry smile. Harry smiled back,
‘Yeah, I’ll help,’ said Harry, ‘It’s not like I can go back to school.’ They had received word the previous day that all seventh years who had fought in the battle of Hogwarts would receive an automatic graduation. Hermione was distinctly forlorn at the news and had already written to Professor McGonagall asking to return in September to complete her N.E.W.T.s. Harry smiled at the thought of Ron’s amused though unsurprised face when she had told them of this.
‘Excellent,’ said Kingsley, ‘we can get your Auror training started right away,’
‘Auror?’ said Harry questioningly, ‘really?’
‘Think you’re under-qualified?’ said Kingsley, smiling, ‘defeated any famous dark wizards lately?’ Harry smiled.
‘Yeah,’ he said, ‘I’d love to be an Auror!’
‘Great!’ said Kingsley, ‘we need a replacement for Dawlish anyway, and in the meantime, there’s plenty of work that needs to be done.’
Kingsley didn’t stay for long after that. He talked briefly with Mrs Weasley, offering his condolences, and shared one drink with the increasingly inebriated party before departing back to the Ministry. On his way out he informed Harry that his Aunt, Uncle and Cousin were safely in the care of the Order and preparing to return to their normal lives, though, he informed him with a jerk of his lips, they could not return to number four, Privet Drive, as the Death Eaters had destroyed it following the battle of the Seven Potters. Harry allowed himself a small smile at the thought of Privet Drive being no more, before bidding Kinglsey farewell and seeing him out into the yard.
After Kinsley had disapparated, Harry lingered in the Garden for some time, looking at the soft mound of dirt marked with a large slab of granite down by the vegetable patch. He leaned on the rough wooden fence and turned his face towards the sky, now clear and smattered with stars. From behind him he heard footsteps but didn’t turn around. He found himself flanked by Ron and Hermione, who joined him in his stargazing.
‘What did Kingsley say?’ asked Ron, resting his elbows on the fence,
‘Wants me to go be an Auror,’ said Harry, considering this avenue further.
‘Cool,’ said Ron admiringly, ‘reckon you’ll be suited to that?’ he shot him a grin.
‘We’ll see I guess,’ said Harry, allowing himself to grin as well. ‘you should join.’ He added, glancing over at Ron.
‘Yeah maybe,’ said Ron thoughtfully looking up at the night sky, ‘I reckon me and Hermione are gonna go to Australia first, find her parents.’ Harry looked over to Hermione, who had a restrainedly hopeful expression.
‘That’s great,’ he said, ‘I hope you find them soon.’
‘Yes,’ said Hermione, ‘well I didn’t put any tracking spells on them in case we were captured and tortured, so it’ll be tricky…’ Ron shrugged,
‘Nothing’s tricky for you Hermione! We’ll probably find them in a week. Plus, we gotta get you back for September first.” He smiled teasingly at her.
‘Yes,’ said Hermione, ‘I don’t want to miss the train! I might have to enchant a car and fly to school,
‘We didn’t enchant the car!’ said Ron indignantly. Hermione laughed.
‘When will you leave?’ asked Harry, glancing between them.
‘Soon.’ Said Hermione plainly, ‘once the dust has settled a bit,’
‘Take food.’ said Harry, grinning at Ron who made a rude gesture in return. Hermione just snorted derisively.
‘Yes, we’d better.’ she said.
They stood at the fence in silence for a while, comfortable soaking up each other’s company as an awareness that they were about to be going their separate ways for the first time in seven years settled over them.
‘I’ll miss you guys.’ said Harry thickly.
‘Yeah mate,’ said Ron encouragingly, ‘we’ll miss you too,’
‘Of course we will,’ said Hermione, placing her hand on Harry’s shoulder, ‘we’ll be back before long.’
‘Yeah,’ added Ron, ‘and we’ll bring you a souvenir, have you heard of these mad things called Kangaroos?’ Harry laughed, Hermione rolled her eyes.
Ron loped his arm over Harry’s shoulders. Harry wasn’t sure how long they stood there like that, but he felt as though he could stay forever.
Eventually, the two receded and wordlessly wandered back inside, linking arms as they did so. Harry saw them pass a figure in the doorway and recognised Ginny walking across the grass to him, baby Teddy in her arms. As she drew level with him, he saw that Teddy’s hair was now a vivid shade of orange, the exact colour of the Weasleys’ hair. Smiling, Harry drew them both into an embrace, and kissed Ginny softly, cradling her in his arms and looking down at her and Teddy.
‘It’s going to be okay,’ she said, kissing his cheek delicately.
‘How do you know?’ he asked looking down into her deep brown eyes.
‘I know.’ she said simply, resting her head on his shoulder.
‘What now?’ he asked, feeling time opening like a maw before him, threatening to swallow him whole. His task had been accomplished; his all-important purpose fulfilled.
‘Now we live.’ She said, tears shining in her eyes, though none fell. ‘There’s work to be done.’ He smiled at the thought. Though Fred and Lupin and Tonks and Sirius and Dumbledore were gone, Ginny was here, and Teddy was here, and Harry, despite all he had been through, was here.
They embraced under the starry sky as a phoenix firework soared past, emitting sparks and tongues of flame and Harry heard its song in his chest and for the first time in seventeen years, contemplated a future that was totally his own.

Okay now, guys, I have a serious question, which bothers me since I've played Hogwarts legacy.
If Ominis Gaunt (or any other blind wizard) encouters a boggart, what's going to happen?
Will boggart take any form at all?
Will Ominis be aware of the boggart presence, will he feel anything?
Can boggarts scare people with sounds?
Can they cause some inner fear which is just in their victim's head, or is it all purely visual?
I'm all intrigued
P.s. Personally I headcanon that his fear lies right within his personality. He probably fears that he might be like the other Gaunts - cruel, prone to dark magic. Poor boy seems not to get over the fact he could successfully cast Crucio. So boggart literally could take form of Ominis himself. But... will Omi know?

13 Questions Every Harry Potter Fan Should Be Able To Answer
Question 1: Which house do you belong to?
Ravenclaw. I'm curious, creative and introverted. But I would also be happy in Hufflepuff since I am, at the end of the day, baby.
Question 2: Which Deathly Hallow would you choose?
If I'm being honest with myself probably the stone, to have one final conversation with my mother who recently, and very suddenly, passed away.
If that hadn't happened then I would've chosen the invisibility cloak because I love the idea of not being perceived.
Question 3: Which Character do you have a (not so) secret crush on?
Interesting question. I had to pick someone compliant with their characterization in the books then I'd probably say I'm most attracted to Tonks or Sirius, or the Weasley twins. But if you saw my AO3 history you'd think Tom Riddle.
Question 4: What are your Indepth and controversial thoughts on Severus Snape?
I think that Severus is a very tragic character. He came from poverty, was abused and neglected by his parents. The only person to ever show him kindness was Lily. He was canonically ugly, weird, and had bad hygiene. He was bullied by two classist Gryffindors and craved power and vengence which led him down a dark path. He died a hero who was courageous and self-sacrificing but I don't think she-who-shall-not-be-named wrote a convincing enough redemption story, especially not one in which the hero would give one of his son's Severus's name. He was still a wholly miserable person who was stuck in the past and verbally abused the child of his former nemesis for six years.
My controversial thoughts surrounding Snape was that he was first and foremost a genius - a potions prodigy who literally crafted his own spells as a teenager.
There was an unequal power dynamic between Severus and the Marauders. He was a dirt poor half-blood and they were rich purebloods. There was never any equal footing between them and as much as he participated in the feud, it was always in retaliation to their cruelty. (I can say this without bashing Sirius and James as all people contain multitudes).
I also don't believe Severus was a bigot. I think there's a good chance he hated muggles, as a result of the abuse from his father, but I he was too smart to buy into the idea of blood supremacy when he, a half-blood, was smarter than most of his pureblood peers. And when Lily, a muggleborn, was at the top of their class.
One of the more controversial headcanons I have is that Severus was recruited into becoming a Deatheater, not because he believed in their agenda but because he was allured by the promise of power, influence and vengeance. I believe he probably moved up high in the ranks after graduating Hogwarts because he was cunning, ambitious, and committed to proving himself and gaining Voldemort's respect. I also believe during his time as a Deatheater he most likely had to commit horrible acts of violence and cruelty, and that while Severus does have a sadistic streak (one that gives him the allusion of power), he does not wish suffering upon innocent people. He probably dealt with these peforming these acts by compartmentalizing his responsibiltiies as a Deatheater and using occlumancy.
One final thing I want to add is that I don't think Severus was obsessed with Lily in a 4Chan, incel sort of way (in fact, he kind of gives off ace vibes). In my opinion, Lily was the only person to ever give him love, kindness and compassion, and while he was in love with her, he was above all else, completely wracked with guilt over being responsible for telling Voldemort about the prophecy. He agrees to protect Harry because he feels indebted to her until the day he dies.
Question 5: Who, In your Opinion, Is more evil: Voldemort or Dolores Umbridge.
What a funny question. The first thing that comes to mind for me is Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump and the discourse in 2015-17 about which politician was worse. Voldemort (like Trump) is honest about who is is and what he stands for (self-interest and accumulating power). Alternatively Umbridge (like Clinton) tries to create the perception that she is good and righteous.
Umbridge represents the banaltiy of evil. She's sadistic and abusive, even towards children -all while wearing a polite smile on her face. She has the same vibe as a Catholic nun who abuses people in the name of god, and for Umbridge it was about the rule of law.
However, Voldemort's evil can't even be measured on the same scale. He's a meglomaniac eugenicst willing to purge the world of things he deems inferior to him. He was inspired by dictators like Hitler and Stalin.
It's far easier to hate Umbridge because she's not honest about who she is, and we've met a figure of authority who's exactly like her. Voldemort by all accounts and purposes, was far more powerful, influential and destructive, but too grandiose to relate to.
Question 6: Which death in the series is the most heartbreaking?
Sirius, Fred, Remus, but especially Fred. It was cruel to take him away from George. I think it would've been more satisfying if Percy, as a way to redeem himself to his family, sacrificed himself to save his brother during the Battle of Hogwarts.
Question 7: What Quidditch position would you play?
I wouldn't. I'd probably be in the stands or take advantage of the school being empty and fuck around in the empty castle all day.
Question 8: What Wizarding Career would you pursue?
Probably a teacher or academic/Unspeakable as I love research. That or someone who paints the magical portraits.
Question 9: Which book in the series is you favourite?
PoA was always my favourite as a kid because I really loved Lupin's character, and hearing about the Marauders. The time-turner plot gives me an eyeroll now but the climax is still one of the most thrilling to me. We also got a taste of Powerful Harry, which actually never came to fruition, but I really loved the idea that Harry was a very exceptional wizard who was coming into his powers and not just an every-man character.
Question 10: Who should have ended up together? Hermione/Ron or Hermione/Harry?
Hermione/Harry if it was developed earlier on. The author explained that Ron/Hermione was something she pigeonholed herself into in the first two books but later regretted it. I think canonically, Harry and Hermione are like siblings, but if their relationship was developed after PoA then it would've been really satisfying to see.
Question 11: Have you read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child?
No. Never will.
Question 12: Was Dumbledore a Hero or a Villain?
A hero. His plan worked in the end, as convoluted it may have been. I don't see Dumbledore as an all-good Santa-Claus-Grandpa character like his die-hard fans do, but I also don't see him as a chess-player villian twirling his moustache from the shadows.
I used to really hate Dumbledore because of how secretive he was. It was absolutely insane for him to have put Harry on that wild goose chase with such little information and it was a miracle they won the war at all.
At the end of the day, I think he was a man that feared having too much power due to the mistakes he made in his youth when he was hungry for it. He influenced things from the sidelines because he knew he was imperfect. He made mistakes all the time, and owned up to them, and if he was all-powerful those mistakes would have much graver consequences.
He loved Harry, in the end, and did not want to see him in that mess, but had the pressure of saving the world on his shoulders.
Question 13: Who is the real Hero of the Story? Harry Potter or Neville Longbottom?
Seems like a redundant question to me, but perhaps there's discourse around it I'm not aware of.
Harry is. But he doesn't carry that tile alone.

The Harry Potter fandom is fascinating. You have:
Fans of Harry Potter's era. Pretty straightforward.
Fans of both the Harry Potter era and the Marauders era. Believe in HP canon for both.
Fans of only the Marauders era who mostly subscribe to canon but wouldn't operate in the era of the books.
Fans of the Marauders era who have not read the HP books and do not care about the HP canon.
It would be so fascinating to take a seminar on this phenomenon. Especially item 4.
And then I'd want to write 20 page papers on the fandom perception of wolfstar, both whether or not it's canon and the interpretation fans have of the dynamic.
And then a 50 page paper on the incredibly strange treatment that Barty Crouch Jr. gets in this fandom, considering that he was a sociopath in canon who was considered Voldemort's most loyal supporter and he has been babygirl-ified.
And then a 100 page paper on how 20 years after the books came out, jegulus went from zero to one of AO3's top ships in a matter of about three years. It came from nothing, with no basis whatsoever in canon, and took the fandom by storm.
Like this is all incredibly interesting to me. I would like to attend this seminar. Hell, I would like to run this seminar. Marauders Fandom University.

I like all Harry Potter pairings, especially rare pairings and canon pairings! 🥰 My favorite characters are all the Weasleys, Hagrid, Tonks, and Dumbledore. My favorite pairings are Romione, Drastoria, (I love almost any Draco ship and Ron ship tbh), Molly/Arthur, Sirius/Snape, Snape/McGonagall, Sirius/Petunia, Katie Bell/Oliver Wood, Ted/Andromeda, and a billion other pairings. 🥰
Please recommend me some good fanfic fest accounts to follow and other good accounts for discovering new fanfics and meta!

“you’re here.”
sirius feels as though all of the air has been knocked from his lungs. he blinks quickly, but james remains where he’s stood, a smile on his face. “here i am, padfoot,” he chuckles softly. “here i always am.”
without thinking, sirius launches himself forward, arms outstretched. james mirrors his actions, but instead of the warm embrace of his best friend, sirius smacks into the other side of his prison cell.
he cries out as he falls, feeling a rib crack in his chest, but instead of expressing concern, the prisoners around him chuckle darkly, consumed in their own insanity.
