Au where quirks exist ever since the beginning of humanity but thought the last 200 years they started becoming rarer for no explainable reason
"for no explainable reason"? Not "because someone born two hundred years ago started eating them all"? Well, both can be true I suppose
1- humans have always had quirks so just go ahead and disabuse yourself of the idea that world history looks anything like ours now. Any boundaries humans have drawn between themselves or their spaces are totally different. Anyway, our story is set on the island nation of Akitsuba, which has begun to receive reports of children who are born without quirks- it seems impossible, but apparently the child born in Canton Province to two glowing parents but had no light himself was not the result of an affair. He is genetically both his parents child - just, without any unique plus alpha factor at all.
2- when the news breaks, Setsuji looks over at his twin brother. The two stay in a group home, and on the record, they have a spike quirk, just like their mother did before she died at their birth. In truth, Setsuji can take others quirks. He assumes he took his brother's in infancy, which why the boy can't use them, but now he wonders if his brother was in fact simply born without. He doesn't say anything, but his brother does- whispering it at night, apologizing for assuming his brother took it all this years ago and refused to even try to return it, but there's simply nothing to return, is there?
3- more people are born quirkless over time, and more people lose their quirk to AfO over time. Ujiko theorizes that quirks would get too strong, so both quirklessness and AfO are evolutions to prevent plus alpha self destruction. That is, sadly, a generous view- quirklessness is largely viewed as a horrible strange disability, and suddenly quirks become more important. Few people before had jobs that specifically used their quirks, but now no one wants to be mistaken for not having one. Many people campaign to treat and 'fix' quirklessness, trying to force activate one, study and prevent it, etc. Just go ahead and assume all the terrible things that can happen with this mindset, it all happened.
4- by the time of canon, however, quirklessness has been around for two hundred years, and it isn't going away- clearly the opposite. about half the population of the world has no quirk, and the number's hanging around 45% in Akitsuba when our main character, Akatani Mikumo is born. He's quirkless, and lives in the capitol of Higakyou, as schools there are required by law now to no longer require certain or any quirks. It's an election year, so his first semester of high school all anyone can do is talk about the candidates- especially Yagi Toshinori, a bit of a symbol for quirkless politicians and one people thought would run years ago. Mikumo, who helped Yagi carry groceries home one day and didn't recognize him outside of the bright suit, camera lights, and makeup, makes friends with a few kids at school. (Ochako, and the twins Tokoyami Fumikage and Kuroei- while the latter has a quirk, the former does not).
5- Then one day, Yagi is kidnapped, vanishing on live tv through a smokey warp. Mikumo doesn't know what to think about that, until he runs into the man on his way home from school- clearly in bad shape, with strange dark eyes that glow with some quirk he shouldn't have. Mikumo helps Yagi hide, and asks what happens, and how he can help. (AfO decided to end Yagi's use as a symbol by forcing a quirk on him and controlling him, but one of his brother's successors managed to break Yagi out first and give him his brother's quirk, allowing him to fight against AfO's quirk and withstand them safely. As for what Mikumo can do to help... he's done far more than he should already, a kind boy, but that answer isn't going to be good enough for him- he's determined to do more anyway.)

Bnha fandom, lemmie suggest smtn real fast:
What if instead of saying "pre-quirk music", we all just called it "music" and then let our faves be obsessed with the current popular hits like lady gaga and mother mother and mitsuki and whatever else you love without having to make them listen to 200+ year old music that probably barely survived the times.
Music is just music, wtf is a quirk going to change about it??? Maybe a couple vocal styles that couldnt otherwise be replicated with equipment?
Unless you specifically want them to be very into Very Old music bc they like antiques or historical stuff, then just let that music be current.
If u wanna spice it up u can even say the artists of today have quirks. Or maybe some are quirkless and thats part of their music popularity!
Just... It doesnt have to be pre-quirk... The amount of quirk in the song has nothing to do with humans making music...

❛ you are losing my interest, and that’s very dangerous. ❜ villain aoyama
This villain’s home is gaudy.
That was the first thought that came to Izuku’s mind. It wasn’t horrible compared to the other places Izuku’s seen in his years as a reporter. The abundance of mirrors was disturbing though. Although, he was the one breaking into the man’s house- so he couldn’t exactly judge.
Slowly making his way through the house, Izuku found himself wary of every step he took. It was a miracle he didn’t set off any alarms busting into the place. However, that didn’t mean the possibility was nigh. He hadn’t noticed any cameras on the property or anything akin to a security system. It was really was seeming that Izuku would be able to find his way in and out of this place without a hitch.
Aoyama Yuuga, a villain known as The Starry Knight to the public, was a notorious thief, his family having ties with the likes of All For One- which made catching him difficult to man experiencedThe man on his own had committed hundreds of heists that resulted in millions of dollars being lost to the wind.
It was amazing to Izuku. He just wanted to know more about him. Sure it was creepy, but how else was Izuku going to find out more about him?
There was definitely an easier way
Izuku made his way through the house. Photographing all the stolen goods, and writing down all the details of this apartment. Each room was just more intriguing than the last.
Making his way to the last room, Izuku found himself gawking at the mirror inside. The gold frame was lined with silver ornate detailing. Priceless gemstones of different sizes, shapes, and colors glittered in the dark room. Izuku didn’t want to risk turning on the lights to get a better look at the mirror.
“This….This is literally priceless.” Izuku whispered to himself.
“I know Mon Cherie that’s why I stole it.” A voice cooed behind him in the dark room.
Izuku’s heart dropped to his feet as quickly he turned around.
On his wrists were glittering bracelets and a shining watch. He wore Khaki Slacks and Black fitted turtle necked did nothing to hide the huge laser belt that sat on his hips. Izuku would call him fashionable if that wasn’t a surefire way to get himself killed. Long blonde hair was brushed into a slick ponytail, and the darkness of the room left Izuku unsure as to what the thief’s nature eye color was. The dark pools still captivated him
“Oh, I am so so so fucked huh.”
“No, I wouldn’t say that yet.”
“If I said I wasn’t a hero would you believe me?”
“Not particularly.”
The belt lowly glittered, and Izuku felt his dinner sitting in the back of his throat.
“I’m really not! I just wanted to know more about you.”
Izuku held his notebook out in front of him. Maybe if he saw he notes he wouldn’t kill him?
Starry Knight all but snatched the notebook, glancing his notes though before grabbing his face.
“I’ve entertained your snooping for far too long. It was comedic at first. However, Mon Cherie, You’re losing my interest, and that’s very dangerous.”
Izuku’s stammers weren’t able to make complete sentences.
“P-Please, Aoyama, I really just wanted to know more about you. Your heists are flawless. Literally no other villain has your flawless streak.”
The villain snickered.
“I was wrong, you’re almost a delight.”
The man stared at Izuku, as if analyzing the features of his own face.
“I guess I could keep you around.” The man muttered.
What.

Deku getting a quirk and going off to ua is so questionable...he was living his life as a minority in a society socioculturally and structurally biased against him, then became a member of the privileged class overnight and immediately decided to become a supercop to uphold the hegemony that made his life a living hell...

My Hero Academia fic idea
I'm not even in this fandom so I'm never going to write this but I had a idea for a fic anyway.
So, on the day that Izuku was supposed to go to the doctor and get his get diagnosed as quirkless, instead his mother gets a phone call saying that all appointments were cancelled. Turns out previously a kid had come in with a very minor teleportation quirk. A teleportation quirk that only can transport very small things. Normally this wouldn't cause much of a fuss if it wasn't for the fact that they came in with the flu and germs happened to be very very small. Thus everyone in the clinic got infected with the flu and now they have to disinfect the whole place. So all appointments are cancelled.
Not having received his quirkless diagnostic yet he continues his day as normal. Maybe he hangs out with Bakugou. Since they haven't had their falling out they continue playing along with each other as normal. So they get a talk or they watch a TV show or something about 'sharing is caring'. And that gives Bakugou an idea. (I think it would have to be Bakugou’s idea, but he’s not been shown that Izuku is an acceptable target yet and his ego/inferiority complex hasn’t kicked in so he still friendly.) As far as he knows, Izuku hasn't got a quirk he was supposed to go to the doctor and get one but the doctor was sick so they have to wait for it. This, of course, makes total sense in kiddie logic. So after being told the real heroes share and share alike, Katsuki decides to "share" his quirk. And by that I mean he slaps a sweaty hand on Midoriya’s tells him to throw the hand in front of him and yell. Once he does Bakugou activates his quirk and Midoriya’s hand sparks (that being all he can do at the time). This makes a great new game to play which is what they do all day. Though I'm thinking that Inko at some point sees her child's hands getting red from shooting sparks and insist they use tissue with a Bakugou sweat on it instead.
This probably wouldn't have done much if it wasn't for the next time they go to preschool. Of course all the kids know that Midoriya was supposed to go to the doctor about his quirk so they start badgering him. And Midoriya panics and does what he’s been doing all weekend and throws a tissue with Bakugou’s sweat, yelling (they were playing just before class) and Bakugou, who has also been doing this all weekend, instinctively activates his power making the tissue explode. Now I’m guessing teachers of preschoolers have a hard enough time with regular kids full of energy, I can only imagine it's worse when these kids are suddenly developing superpowers. So the only thing the teacher does is to yell for Bakugou to stop using his quirk (there’s no way he wasn’t doing this all the time when his quick came in). And of course Midoriya’s doesn't want to get in trouble so he insists he did it.
There’s a stammering explanation about him sharing Bakugou’s power leaving the exhausted teacher with the impression that Midoriya has some sort copy quirk. Just another thing to keep an eye on. But they’re not getting paid enough for this so it’s just noted and they move on. Midoriya’s too shy to clarify things. And once Bakugou realises he thinks it’s funny. So they don’t correct anyone about it. After all it was only until Midoriya gets his real quirk. They might as well play a trick on everyone.
In fact Midoriya probably figures out how to copy his mom's power by finding a broken fishing pole. Tying the fishing gut around his wrist and throwing the fishing hook out catch on to small objects he can yank them back to his hand. And, of course, he obviously shares this Bakugou so they have a lot of fun playing with that and trying to figure out other powers they can copy and share. Parents probably do have to step in and make sure they don't attempt anything with fire with a hairspray and a lighter though.
Eventually of course Midoriya does get his quirkless diagnosis but I think at this point Bakugou is becoming incredibly unimpressed how no one in the school has figured out. Either that or he's having way too much fun sharing different quirks. For whatever reason maybe they don't have a falling out or maybe have they falling out and they make up but either way they don't actually end up telling anyone in school. Any school that looked aside (or possibly encouraged) bullying of a quirkless child it's probably not paying enough attention to what's going on to figure it out themselves.
Inko probably had a moment where she got a note from the preschool teacher about Izuku’s quirk usage and was very confused before realizing she never updated them with the proper paperwork. But after a long hard think maybe she decides it's better off if they don't know. She doesn't falsify anything, it's still on official records that Izuku is quirkless, she's just neglects to update the preschool. And the next school bases their records off the previous. It's scraping by on technicalities but it's not illegal. The school just failed to do the correct background diligence.
So Midoriya grows up to be a little less bullied and Bakugou isn’t one of his main antagonists anymore, after all the have a secret keeping them together. But he’s not, not bullied. (Aldera Junior High obviously don’t have much of an anti-bullying program.) He’s just not everyone’s only target. His constant muttering and scribbling in notebooks is probably still creepy to people but now everyone just thinks it has something to do with his quirk. It's assumed that he can only share quirks with people if he understands them. And he now has an outlet of his quick obsession. Trying to find ways to copy or “share” them. I have this idea that one of Midoriya’s bullies had a steel fingernail quick that he’d get away with hurting kids by gripping them too hard claiming ‘quick accidents’. So Midoriya "copied" it by borrowing some of Bakugou’s Mum’s fake nails and supergluing cut up aluminum cans. Midoriya’s probably still too nice to actually do anything in revenge but Bakugou isn’t. Especially if he can also get away with saying it was a quick accident (something he be too prob to do about using his own quirk). look he’s not an active bully to Midoriya, that doesn’t mean he personality has changed. So his classmate ‘know’ he can share the quick he copies, of course he only share’s with Bakugou, it’s not like they have any other friends.
And as Midoriya grows up he gets into chemistry and physics and does his own experiments with all the all the different ways to copy other people's quirks. Maybe aiming to go into hero support (although he still always wants to be a hero). He may or may not have looked up a tutorial how to do fire breathing to copy he father’s quick. He may or may not have been banned from doing that when he signed his eyebrows.
And then they get into Yuuei. Now UA actually does do proper paperwork so they know he's quirkless. But I don’t know where to go after this.
Maybe he's still gets One For All, maybe not. I like to think that either way he does manage to get in, maybe scraping by on rescue points, and as soon as the quirk assessment happens Aizawa figures it out. He’s probably kind of impressed. So despite the few moments of Midoriya being terrified he doesn't get expelled. Also making him the first teacher to impress Bakugou since he’s figured out the secrete he’s been keeping since he was five.
No idea what happens next. I had a vague thought of the class getting in on it and getting around being in trouble after some vigilante activity by copying each other's quirks or something. Throwing acid or using a laser getting an ice gun and a flame thrower. I bet just getting Hatsume Mei involved would be interesting. If Midoriya still gets One For All it makes for a good cover when he starts developing all the extra powers. Or maybe he gets his classes help faking all their powers and become a kind of quirkless All for One.
But I don't know.
So I'll guess I'll just leave this here.

⋆ 𝜗𝜚 ˚⟡. — KATSUKU BAKUGOU. homemade love.
Tumblr media
about. katsuki takes the pain of his middle-born daughter to heart, and does anything he can to fix it.
warnings. minors, blank and ageless blogs do not interact! sfw, fluff, characters aged up, bakugou is a girl dad of three, reader is referred to as ‘ma’, their daughter is quirkless like deku lol, he makes her pasta, pro hero!bakugou, fem!reader, … a draft from a long time ago!! enjoy please <3
Tumblr media
katsuki who cooks and makes his middle daughter her favourite pasta recipe whenever she’s down.
she comes home from middle school with scraped palms and knees, teary eyed and with the weight of the world on her shoulders.
“they don’t like me ‘cause ‘m quirkless.” she says as soon as she’s through the door — the authentic bakugou twang thick in her shaky voice. her face is pressed into your torso when you make eye contact with katsuki, who’s emerged from the kitchen down the hall and to your left.
you see it all flash before his eyes — his childhood, his high school career and the day he died. the way he treated the number one, uncle izuku, for so many years. it’s all reflected in the familiar red of his middle child’s eyes and it kills him.
“c’mere squirt,” katsuki calls to her, drying off his hands with the red riot tea towel slung lazily over his shoulder. he’d been washing dishes before she got home. “we’re makin’ dinner together.”
“but i—“
“i wasn’t askin’, i was tellin’.” the older blonde nudges his head towards the kitchen, reaching a hand out for his daughter which she tenderly takes. when she sniffles, bakugou tucks her into his side as if to protect her from the horrors of the world. you let them go without interrupting, knowing the importance of this moment for the two.
it’s not easy, being a bakugou when you’ve got dynamight’s reputation to live up to. he’s fearsome and fiery, confident and calculated. your husband and the father of your three beautiful daughters is one of the main reasons why japan is safe today. the burden and weight of his reputation that your children carry is unimaginable — only made worse by the fact that your middle is quirkless.
and yet, dynamight’s love for her doesn’t falter. since the moment he first held his baby girl she’s been his entire world, his moon along with his sun and now his stars. he’s adored her before she even became a twinkle in his eye — no amount of power or special ability would change that for him.
she’s katsuki’s girl, not just dynamight’s daughter. he’d tear the world apart to find anyone who ever hurt her.
“hold the knife properly. you cut your finger off ‘n yer ma will have my head.” his gruff voice, holding no malice, makes your sweet girl snort with laughter — a change from her earlier wobbly bottom lip and teary eyes. “we’re tryna mince garlic for the sauce, not yer little hands, squirt.”
she sticks her tongue out at him, bright blonde curls bouncing when she narrowly misses a playful swat from her father. “i’m trying,” your middle child wails with faux upset — her nose scrunches all too similarly to how yours and it sends an arrow of love straight through katsuki’s chest. for a moment, the kitchen falls to silence and the elder of the two turns his attention to the pasta dough in his large floured hands — focusing on shaping them into little bow ties just how his daughter likes, on occasion adding them to a boiling pot of water.
“i’m trying,” she says again, but quieter. “but daddy, everythin’s so hard.”
and like pot simmering away on the stove, her emotions start to boil over — tiny hiccups forming a sad symphony with the sounds of a working kitchen.
bakugou instantly springs into dad mode, dropping everything that he had been doing to take your daughter’s hand in his. despite how messy it may be. “hey now gorgeous, don’t cry…tell me what’s wrong, yeah?”
“i-i don’t want to disappoint you by not havin’ a quirk n not bein’ a hero…” she manages to get out through her blubbering — digging the heal of her palm into wet eyes. “i jus’ wanna make you proud!”
katsuki’s face softens, everything except for love for his daughter melting away. “‘nd i am proud. fiercely fuckin’ so…ah, shit, don’t tell yer ma i cursed, kay?” he stumbles over his words, he’s never been the best at comforting people but when bakugou’s child needs him, he’ll be damned if he leaves her in any pain. “from the moment y’first came into this shitty — i mean — crappy world, i’ve been proud of you. you’ve always pushed yourself beyond anythin’ i could achieve, you’re kind to people when they don’t deserve it, you smile whenever things get tough…”
taking a moment from his passionate rant, katsuki slows his breathing and composed himself — squeezing his little girl close. “yer the best thing that’s ever happened t’me ‘n yer ma. my proudest moment… i love ya so much. you’d never disappoint me.”
“really, daddy?” your baby sniffles, rubbing at her snotty nose.
bakugou nods with a gentle smile, cupping her face between his two floury hands before kissing her forehead z “really.” he affirms. “now get yer choppin’ skills together, this pasta sauce ain’t gonna make itself.”
the two blonde’s return to cooking, a comfortable silence settling in your family kitchen, also full of love. that night, your family of five sit together munching on homemade pasta bow ties in a sauce that your middle daughter had worked so hard to make. she grins brightly between her sisters, staring at her father with her shining red eyes thankfully.
in that moment, she knows that she is loved no matter what the status of her quirk is.
you link your fingers with bakugou’s under the table. “you did good, dad.” you whisper to him, stabbing through your pasta with your fork. “
“so did you, ma.” he whispers back gruffly, thumb running over your wedding band as he eats his pasta too.

SOULLESS + katsuki bakugou
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SYNP — after losing your quirk, you had no idea what to do with yourself and katsuki couldn’t help you
WARNINGS — masc reader, suicide, quirk loss, heavy angst | 1.3K
A/N — did i cook, y’all? 🥺
Your quirk was what made you. That was the mentality most people in this world had. It was what you grew up on. You took it seriously. Your quirk defined you.
Katsuki knew this. He understood you. Even he knew he was more than his quirk. He never put you down for it, he just pushed you to work harder.
And you pushed. You pushed and pushed and pushed. Until it all fell to shit.
You don’t process the silencing sound of the gun shooting until you feel the impact. The world slows while simultaneously crumbling around you. You can’t hear. You can’t hear Sir Nighteye shouting, you can’t hear Izuku’s gasp, you can’t hear Togata’s cry. You just feel. Feel a part of you being ripped away.
The bullet sits in your body. And you feel. You feel the gash in your flesh. You feel the blood seeping from the wound. You feel the sting of its penetration. Then you feel the strength drain from you. You pushed too far.
Everyone described your time in the hospital as uncharacteristic and silent. The only time you spoke was when Katsuki visited you. And he felt. He felt the emptiness radiating from you. Even then, you sat in quietness as you attempted to tell him how you were feeling. Empty. Weak. Soulless.
He couldn’t treat you like everyone else. For one of the first times in his life, he knew, a quirkless person was nothing less than him. He had to treat them right. He had to treat you right. Which he did of course.
Your mental and emotional condition always hurt him. Always made him feel like a piece of him was missing. Even when you were allowed to return to your training. When you’d help him with his special moves or by sitting on his back while he did pushups.
It was a mental trick. It was supposed to make you feel like you were back. It was supposed to make people see you and smile and pat you on the back. Giving you “good job!” and “we’re glad to see you back.” But you weren’t back. You weren’t anything. And nobody knew. Nobody knew until Katsuki and Aizawa did.
A normal day of physical therapy while everyone else was training. One where Katsuki requested to come with you and one where Aizawa sat in with you. Your arm wasn’t functioning like before. No part of you was. Not your mind, heart, or soul, if it was even still there.
The physical therapist gave you your usual spiel before leaving you with the two men.
“The way you’re taking this ain’t very heroic, you know?” Aizawa told you, taking a seat next to you on the bench. He put a comforting hand on your head, pulling you close to him.
Your words struck through the two like the bullet that hit you. The bullet that robbed you. “I’m not a hero anymore. I’m nothing.”
That’s when the two realized. You weren’t the same. The hero you were and the person you were now, were completely different.
Katsuki saw the signs. He knows he did. His only mistake was not knowing what to do about them. He had sick thoughts. He thought maybe if Izuku had gone through with his words, he’d know the signs. He’s grateful that Izuku is alive and well but a bit upset that he didn’t have the experience he needed.
You zoned out often, stayed in your dorm all the time, slept in class, and barely spoke at lunch, you wouldn’t text with your old spark and enthusiastically run up to him after school. He missed you. Not any more than he does now but he did. Even though you were right there. Like you were just a body floating its way through life.
He told Aizawa. Aizawa said to give you time. Katsuki doesn’t blame him. Not entirely. He couldn’t have known. But giving you time was the wrong move. Giving you time was the last thing you needed.
Katsuki knows he should’ve been smarter the day you gave him a letter. An envelope that you didn’t want him to open until the next day. Aizawa got one too. So did Hitoshi. And Izuku. But none of them thought anything of it. Just a way for you to get the words you couldn’t say out.
Katsuki should’ve known after seeing the way you grinned around everyone and stayed by his side all day. But he was stupid. He thought you were getting better.
Dear, Katsuki Bakugou.
Katsuki. I love you more than anything in this lifetime. I am forever grateful for what you’ve given me. My life has gone so much better than I ever expected because of you. I want to give you the world. I tried. I tried really hard. But I can’t. Everything feels dull and nothing feels right. I feel trapped and I don’t feel like myself. And I can’t get out of this slump. Being here feels like being dead. I’m not here. I know this would hurt to text you or say to your face. I can’t think of those eyes of yours without it hurting me. Nothing is your fault. Never. Thank you, Katsuki. I love you in this life and beyond. Take your time, hold your ground, and become the best. I’m rooting for you. I’ll see you on the other side or in another life. I know if I become myself again, I will always find you.
Love, your dumbass, y/n l/n.
The wind rushed past you. Everything looked so different from your view. The same scenery you’d be taking in for the past few months sits ahead of you but it looks different. It feels nice. Maybe because this was the last time you’d see it.
The ground glares up at you, it’s pavement calling to you. The moonlight shines on your skin, casting your shadow on the rooftop of the dorms. You try to smile. To take it in one last time. But you can’t. Your mind won’t let you. Whatever was left of your soul won’t let you.
You just take a deep breath. And feel. You feel the bullet breaking your flesh and shattering your bone. You feel Katsuki’s warmth surrounding you. You feel Aizawa’s hand on your head. You feel and feel and feel. Before you fall.
It only took minutes after sunrise before you were found. An unlucky student stumbles across a corpse. Their blood-curdling scream immediately grabbed the whole world’s attention. It only took hours for them to collect you and identify you.
After that, it only took minutes for it to be announced to the class. It only took seconds for Katsuki to unwillingly break down. As fast as the bullet ripped your quirk from you, his soul, his mind, and his heart were ripped from him.
It only took seconds for the pity and grief to intoxicate the room. Poisoning every first year and teacher at the school. It only took days for Katsuki to finally convince himself to read the letter. It only took seconds for him to break down again and be pulled into Aizawa’s chest.
It only took a week for Katsuki’s world to crumble.
He visits you through the snowy days and warm nights. Sitting in front of your stone and replacing your flowers. Your soul is long gone and it feels as if his was too. The picture of you in his t-shirt, stupidly grinning at the camera stares into him. And he feels. He feels the hurt. He feels the pain. He feels your warmth. He feels your missed presence. He feels and he feels and he feels. Until he doesn’t think he can anymore.
“You weren’t nothing, y/n. You were everything.” He pushed the words out.

Cheating DILF Izuku
Husband Midoriya Izuku x Wifey Reader
Tumblr media
Note: This is just an angst story. IT IS NOT CONFIRMED PART OF MY STORY. It is not CANON. Izuku would NEVER cheat but if he did... it would be like this. I wrote this just to watch people cry.
Warning: Child loss, grief, Infidelity, Absent parenting,
You felt him shift behind you as his alarm rang. It was early in the morning and yet you couldn’t find it in yourself to get up and out of bed yet. There was a whole ocean of space between you and your husband. A gap that had not been crossed or touched in over six months. It felt so cold to even try and move from your side of the bed because you knew that the person you were reaching out to was just as cold and if not, colder.
You heard your husband get out of bed and move towards the bathroom to get ready for work. There was no more slow morning sex, or waking up in his arms or to kisses. Anything and everything was work or the kids. That was all it seemed your marriage became in the span of six months.
You let out a heavy breath as you slowly sat up in bed. You looked to the right over to the family photo on your side table. You, your loving husband and your five boys. Something that seemed so far away despite the portraits having been taken just a year ago.
You got up out of bed and moved to go wake up the boys. You knocked on each of their doors, making sure they would be awake to get to school. You moved to your youngest’s bedroom. The four-year-old was still very much asleep which you were glad for. You moved over to where he was asleep in bed, his eyes closed. You gave a sad smile, but you were glad he was so blissfully unaware of everything else.
You moved to head downstairs, getting bento boxes ready and also breakfast. It was the same routine but something was always different which you couldn’t help but be grateful for.
Just as you fried the eggs, your oldest sons came downstairs.
“Morning mom!” Asahi greeted as he moved to quickly kiss your cheek and immediately went to grab plates to set the table. You smiled at your eleven year old son, already dressed in his gakuran.
“Morning ma!” Another kiss went to your cheek as Hero, your seven year old came and passed by, grabbing cutlery to put at the table, seemingly already in conversation with Asahi. You smiled over at him.
Finally walking over to you, in not as much as a rush than his younger brothers was Toshinori, your eldest. He gave your shoulders a squeeze and a kiss to your cheek. “Good morning, ma.” He easily picked up on tending to the other frying pan, grabbing his apron with one hand so that he could help you. He did it without being told and yet you always felt so grateful for his help. He looked at you with kind eyes and curly green hair. “Did you sleep well? How are you feeling?” He asked.
You smiled over at him, so grateful you had such an attentive eldest son. “I slept fine, thank you Toshi. I hope you slept well too.” You wished as you turned off the stove you were working at and turned to finish your husband’s bento box.
“I slept well.” He told you sweetly. “Did… did any email or mail come in yet?” he asked.
You turned to Toshinori with a smile. He had been eagerly awaiting a letter from UA. You were just grateful that with everything that happened the last six months, your son managed to still train and go to the physical exam to enter UA High School. Although you were pretty sure it was a guarantee that he would enter the school, considering he had your husband’s quirk due to him being born quirkless too, Toshinori wanted a fair and equal trial just like everyone else. He wanted to be deserving of it and in every way he was.
You turned to him shoving him gently. “Hey…” he turned to you with slightly anxious eyes. You took a deep breath and he mimicked you. You took a second before you both breathed out. You smiled. “Everything is going to be fine. I told you, you’ll be the first one to read it the moment I get it.” You promised him. He nodded his head with a smile. He opened his mouth to speak but the heavy sound of footsteps interrupted him as finally your husband descended from downstairs.
“Morning dad!”
“Morning kiddos.” Your husband let out, his voice less chirpy than it was six months ago. Midoriya Izuku walked over to where you were in the kitchen, automatically grabbing a flask of hot made coffee that you had made for him. He was in his own world again. His eyes distant but his actions were trained. The autopilot you had all been on, kicking in.
You knew you wouldn’t receive a good morning from him.
You barely got him to notice you half the time now.
You cleared your throat as you closed his bento and packed it away. “Izuku, remember Asahi’s science project at school. The viewing is at two.” You reminded him as you grabbed a can of soda and placed it with the rest of his lunch that you packed.
“Y/N, you know I can’t make it.” You heard him talk as he grabbed an apple as makeshift breakfast, not bothering to have breakfast with any of you anymore.
You looked at him with a pained expression. “Izuku, you promised you would go.”
You heard a sigh come out of him as he grabbed his bag and finally looked at you, stopping for five seconds. Your large husband felt so far away from you despite not being more than three steps away from you. “Y/N, I’m the Number One hero of this country. I don’t have time to always go to every recital and function.” He reminded you.
You felt annoyance bubble up inside you as your eyebrows furrowed. Your grip on your apron tightened as you looked up at him. That was always his excuse nowadays. “Izuku, you have been so busy with work lately. It would mean the world to him if you showed up. He’s been getting into arguments at schoo-”
“Y/N, I have a meeting in less than an hour.” He dismissed as he started to turn to leave the kitchen. “I’m sorry. I promise I’ll try make it if I get time.” He waved it off as he headed towards the entrance hallway, leaving you and the boys alone once again.
You bit back the emotions of annoyance and disappointment as you let out a sigh and turned to do something else, ignoring the boys and their silence as they watched. That’s how mornings were like now. Either Izuku buzzing by too fast to even get more than a sentence out of him before he’s out the door, or he’s never there entirely.
It had been like this ever since your second youngest, Shoyo had passed away.
A villain had attacked his primary school as revenge against heroes including your husband. Your little boy had sacrificed himself along with Hanta and Mina’s youngest child, Sero Kimiko. It was a dark day in your group of friends to lose two six year olds, innocent and pure. It was a horrible incident, an even more horrible case. Your husband and other heroes were on the scene one minute too late.
It was a horrible time for all of you. You barely could call yourself a human after the funeral and even during the hearing of state vs the class A villain, Jigsaw. You don’t remember most of it, all you knew was that you didn’t even get to see your little boy’s body one final time before cremation, because there simply wasn’t anything to hold.
You couldn’t imagine the horrific sight your husband saw that day, but he only truly began to change once the court ruling had happened and Jigsaw was sentenced to the death penalty. Your husband had moved further and further away from you, almost as if being near you and the boys was torture.
You couldn’t understand it at all, but you always made excuses for him. Even when it was Toshinori’s fifteenth birthday and Izuku wasn’t there. You told your son everything under the moon to make him understand, and he did. Because he loved his father that much. But there was only so many excuses you could give for so long.
With all the kids at school and you having taken Koda to kindergarten, leaving you alone for a few hours, you decided to clean Izuku’s study. The grand room was filled with papers and books, his laptop monitors all on from the long night he spent in here after coming home from patrol. You didn’t even know how he kept on moving when it seemed like he barely slept in your own bed. You didn’t question the times he wouldn’t come home for days on end, always saying he spent his nights at the office.
You ignored the smell of perfume on his hero suits too.
You walked into the room, moving to clear his desk and the multiple mugs of empty coffee. You moved to clear all the clutter, moving classified documents into a pile where he could find them all. He worked hard, it was something you always admired about him. It was the reason why the crime rate had more than halved in the last six months.
You heard a message pop up on his monitor. He had long time connected his phone to his computer, he said it made it easier to access things sometimes. Izuku also had a habit of leaving things on when he wanted to get back to it but always getting so whirled up in his head that he never did get back to them sometimes.
You made the ugly mistake of looking up at the monitor, your eyes reading before you could stop yourself.
You didn’t move.
You didn’t breathe.
You watched as message after message popped up.
Suddenly it felt as if your entire world had fallen underneath your feet.
Izuku dragged a hand through his hair as he came in through the door. It was past eight and no doubt, dinner had already been eaten in the Midoriya household. He had gotten so caught up in work and other matters that time just washed by. But that’s just how time seemed to pass ever since…
His eyes automatically went to the photo in the entranceway that sat beside a candle that was always lit no matter the time of day. A photo of a little boy, not older than six, with the brightest green eyes and the biggest smile. Hair so big and curly it almost swallowed him up whole. Inko had told Izuku when Shoyo was born, that he looked the most like him out of every single one of the boys, with the same sparkle in his eyes and smile that reached the stars.
Looking at him now only made Izuku feel nothing but never-ending guilt.
Taking off his shoes, Izuku got into the house. It was that soft time when homework was either being done or the boys got to destress before their busy days tomorrow.
“Dad!” Izuku turned to see his eldest. Toshinori had his hands in his pockets as he walked over to his father. Every day it seemed like the boy was getting taller, although he still hadn’t hit that particular growth spurt. He’d probably get it in second year of high school, like Izuku had. Toshinori seemed a bit apprehensive, knowing how his father seemed much more rougher than he was before. But he couldn’t blame him. Something in all of them changed six months ago. “Evening.” He nodded his head.
It took Izuku a second before mustering up a smile. “Toshi, how was school?”
Toshinori gave a look of surprise which hurt Izuku. How long had it been since he asked his son that question? “G-good!” He let out with a smile, so excited that his father asked. “It was great! Yah, Kane and I got moved into the first team for rugby! Coach said I could really get better as long as…” A soft blush went to his face as he scratched the back of his head. “As long as I learn to stop accidentally activating One for All when I get too worked up.”
Izuku let out an amused scoff but put a hand to Toshinori’s shoulder. “Don’t worry. I struggled with that too even now. Just practise what I’ve already taught you and find a way to box it whenever you’re playing.” He advised. Toshinori perked up, his eyes as bright as stars as he smiled, glad to receive something from his father today. When last had he checked up on Toshinori and his use of One for All? Izuku felt sick at the thought. Izuku looked up to the empty kitchen. “Where’s mom?”
“Oh! She told me to tell you to meet her in your room. She said she had to talk to you about something. I’m not sure what.” He shrugged. “Must have to do with Asahi’s fight.”
Izuku nearly had whiplash as he turned to look back at Toshinori. “Fight? What fight?”
“Asahi got into another fight at school during the showcase. Didn’t tell me what about though.” Toshinori shrugged, but underlying worry in his demeanour.
Another?
Was this a frequent thing? Since when?
Izuku opened his mouth to speak but Toshinori beat him to it. “He’s been in his room since after dinner.”
Izuku nodded. “Thanks Toshi.” He turned to head straight upstairs. Izuku moved immediately straight into his mind at all this news. Fights? Since when did his eleven year old get into fights? Why wasn’t he told? Izuku was confused as he opened the door to your shared bedroom. He needed a shower and preferably a long night’s rest, but first he had to get down to this issue on Asahi. Your husband stepped into your bedroom. “Y/N, what is this I’m hearing about Asahi-”
“Close the door.” The tone in your voice had the green haired Number One hero freezing. It was eerily calm. It was horrifying because the only times you ever spoke like that was when you were angry. His eyebrows twitched as he looked to you as you sat on the other side of the master bedroom. The fire place in your bedroom was lit, which confused him because he didn’t think it all that cold to light a fire. Your eyes remained forward, your back towards him as you stood in the otherwise dark room. “Close the door, Midoriya.”
“Midoriya?” Izuku was confused. You hadn’t called him that since before you started dating, since third year of UA actually. It was an odd thing to hear come out of your lips, especially since you were Midoriya too. Izuku’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he stepped forward. “Y/N, what’s going-”
“Close the door.” This time you said it a bit more firmly, but you were careful not to shout considering your door was still open.
Izuku complied, closing the door behind him, because like everyone in your family, there were rules to your household. One rule was that only under emergency circumstances was your bedroom door to be opened without knocking or permission from the both of you. Another was that your bedroom was the one neutral place where you could both talk to one another openly and freely without worry of the kids and having to be mindful parents.
Or at least it used to be.
The room was silent and tensely so. You looked down at the fire the entire time, nothing but the sound of the burning of wood was in the room as you both stood at opposite sides of the room.
“Do you remember…” Your voice started, nearly startling your husband that felt as though he could break out into a sweat in any second. “When we started dating, you used to write me letters.” You spoke softly and yet Izuku could hear every word. He noticed then that there was burnt papers in the fire place and papers in your hand still. Pages of handwritten letters, of ink and passionate love sat in your hands. “Pages upon pages of images of your thoughts and emotions of me. Each one different than the other. Nothing was the same and yet they all carried the same undeniable feeling of you… Midoriya Izuku, the man I fell in love with.” You spoke with such delicacy, almost as if that feeling of receiving them was fresh inside you. “And yet,” Your grip on the papers grew hard. “Not even more than half a year after our fourth son’s death…” You tossed the papers into the fire, not even looking back at them as they crumbled and charred under the heat.
This was the first time Izuku saw you since coming back and the image of your face is something he would have scarred into him for the rest of his life. Tears flowed from your eyes, and yet the only look he could see on you was pure anger and disgust. You looked absolutely broken and Izuku knew in that moment that you knew.
“You cheated on me.” You whispered with such anger it almost felt like that was a slap in his face entirely. “Why?”
It was a simple question, and one that Izuku didn’t have the answer to. Izuku was shaking. He was as pale as snow and fear brimmed in his eyes for the first time in a long time and yet you didn’t care. He closed his eyes and breathed. “You know how hard it’s been for me these last few months. All the headlines and everyone saying that I wasn’t fast enough to save him. I… I’ve been swallowed up with guilt and grief.”
“You don’t think we all have?” You asked coldly, making him stiffen. You stepped forward with a scowl on your face. “I stay here and take care of our home, of our boys. Our boys who have the same face as their brother and I have to fight the urge to cry at every waking moment because I see him in their faces!” You shouted pointing at the door. “I’ve been grieving!” Your hand went to your chest, painfully so but you didn’t care how hard you squeezed. It didn’t compare to the agony in your heart that only reignited. “We’ve all been grieving! I’ve been begging you to talk to me! Telling you not to listen to the headlines and talk to me! To talk in therapy! You have no excuse!”
“I was weak!” He shouted back at you, angrier at himself than he could ever be at you. “Like always! Ochaco was there just as a friend and then it felt so easy just to talk to her and unburden with her and then…” He couldn’t say it. It felt too real if he said it. It was all just a dream to him. A fantasy he could indulge in for a few hours out of the agony. It meant nothing to him, not like how you mean the world to him.
You shrugged. “And then what? You tripped and fell into her cunt? What, Izuku!”
“I don’t know!” He shouted back at you. It was silent for another moment. “How did you find out?”
“Does it matter?”
“I guess it doesn’t.” He closed his eyes as he swallowed down the heavy pill.
This was it.
This was the end.
He had ruined everything all because he felt too much of a failure to face you and would have rather run to someone else than to you. His loyal and faithful wife. His loving wife. The woman that had given him everything. He felt a tear slip out of his eye as he looked down at the ground. He couldn’t look you in the eyes. Not when you knew. Not when you looked at him with the very thing he wanted to avoid in the first place.
He wiped his face. “Where are the divorce papers?” He asked in a whisper.
There was a beat of silence before a scoff came out of you. You folded your arms as you stood before him. “Divorce papers?” You asked almost as if it was funny. “Oh God, no.” Immediately, Izuku looked up at you in shock. You shook your head almost as if the very thought was unthinkable. “No. I’m not going to order a divorce. Do you know why?”
Izuku knew better than to give you a real answer. He decided to stay silent as he shook his head. The sound of your shoes on the floor was deafening as you walked forward to stand right in front of him.
You pointed to the picture on your bedside table. “Because of them.” You stated honestly. “Because of the four boys that we still have. That is the reason why I’m not getting the best divorce lawyer in this damn country. That is why I am not packing my bags and taking my children far away from you so that they can hate your actions just as much as I do.” You emphasised. “I love those boys more than I care for my own sanity and soul. I love those boys so much, I am painstakingly aware of the fact that I can never divorce you because I would never be able to take care of them without you. I love them so much that I know that they love you as if you hung the stars, Izuku!” You shouted at him, tears flowing down your face. A hiccup broke your voice but it didn’t stop you. “They love you so much and yet I know it would kill them to know what you’ve done! I refuse to let our sons hate you the same way you hate your father.”
That cold hard truth came crashing down on him like ice water. It chilled him to the very bone, and stirred his stomach making him feel sick.
Your jaw shivered with emotion, but you kept your head held high. “That is why I will not divorce you. I do not wish to inflict whatever more emotional trauma they could have after the last six months. So this is what is going to happen.” You folded your arms as you looked up at him. “Oh Izuku stop crying.”
He jolted as he hadn’t realised that there were tears flowing down his face. He moved a hand to his face, feeling the wetness of tears against his skin. He looked back at you. “Thank-”
“I don’t want to hear it, because I don’t care.” You cut him off quickly shutting him up. “I don’t care if you have every girl in the whole of Japan wrapped around your finger, but those women will never set a single foot into this house or into our children’s lives, do you understand me? If word gets out about this, you damn believe I will drain you dry Izuku. I will make sure that there is nothing left of your legacy that you have cultivated.” You hissed with pure intent in every word you said.
Izuku nodded his head pathetically scared of you (rightfully so). “Y/N, I promise you, I’ll never do it again! I’ll go to therapy again! We can go together. I promise I’ll change and-”
“I don’t care because you will never touch me sexually again.” You told him flat out. “We will act, we will pose, we will sing if we damn have to, to make our boys and the rest of Japan believe that we are somewhat of a functioning team at least until they are all out of the house. But Izuku know this…” You stepped forward as you looked up at him.
This was the man you had fallen in love with. A man who held your heart in the palm of his hand so easily that it was probably foolish of you to have loved him as much as you did. You loved Midoriya Izuku. You loved his smile, his muttering, his large scarred hands that held a world full of problems but still held you tenderly, you loved his laugh, you loved his heart. You loved the man standing in front of you.
“I love you.” You let out brokenly, taking the both of you by surprise. You nodded your head with a smile, a smile so broken it looked wrong on your face. “I love you, and you are the father of my children and my partner, but you will never again be my husband.”
Izuku didn’t move, he didn’t speak, he didn’t breathe. He was stuck there like a statue but you still continued.
“Now…” You brushed down your front. “I have to go give Toshinori his acceptance letter to UA. I advise you clean yourself up first before you go anywhere near my son.” You moved to walk right past him, your shoes deafening as you walked out the room closing the door behind him.
Izuku was motionless still, even without you in the room.
This was a worser fate than a divorce. Being trapped with the love of his life and never feeling her love back in return. Being married but never being your husband ever again.
“Morning mom!”
“Morning mom!”
A kiss went to your cheek as you were finishing up breakfast. Toshinori smiled at you as he placed his hands on your shoulders. “Good morning, mom.”
You let out a chuckle, trying to fill in the void and hollow feeling inside you. You grabbed your eldest son, bringing him into a hug as he laughed. “There’s my hero!” he grabbed a hold of you, picking you up off your feet making you shout in surprise. You had forgotten that with One for All he had also inherited his father’s strength. “Toshinori!” You shouted out in surprise. “Put me down!”
He laughed and held you tight, but put you back on your feet. You couldn’t help but giggle as he moved to switch off the stove and grab plates out of the cabinet. The heavy footsteps of your husband were heard as he descended from upstairs. You didn’t bother to look up at him.
Izuku looked a bit less like the mess you left him in last night. You had told him that for the night he wasn’t allowed in your bedroom, and he would stay in the office he cared about more than you in the last six months. He wore sweatpants as he kept one hand in his pockets and came down.
Asahi looked up from where he was setting the table. “Morning dad!”
“Morning buddy.” Izuku forced a smile to his face as he walked over to the table. He pulled Asahi in for a hug making his eyes go wide in surprise. The other boys looked at their father confused but didn’t say anything. “How did you sleep?”
“…fine.” He answered, glancing at you. You shrugged, acting to be oblivious. He did the same thing with Hero as well, before coming over to do the same with Toshinori.
Toshinori looked up at his father in surprise. “Morning dad… is your shift later in the day?” He asked as he noticed his father’s rather casual attire. He normally would just sleep in or rest more and let the four of you have breakfast by yourselves.
Izuku hesitated but shook his head as he moved over to grab an extra plate, noticing that the number of plates Toshinori had gotten was just for the four of you excluding him. “No.” He answered rather blankly. Izuku took his plate as well as the other plates that Toshinori was holding and went to go put them on the table. Asahi noticed the extra plate and went to go and grab more cutlery.
Breakfast was finished and so you all moved to the table. You kept notice of the time, wondering if you should wake up Koda or not. You sat next to Izuku on his right side like before, as he sat at the head of the table. Toshinori sat beside you, not wanting to sit on the other side of his father today. Your three eldest boys sat quietly, not touching their plates either as they looked between you and their father. You looked to Izuku and for a moment your husband froze.
That was the look you always gave him whenever you all used to sit at the table together. You would sit together and you would let him lead. Izuku felt horrible knowing that you were perfect. You always used to make it so important that the boys learnt from him in being a good male figure, no matter what. And yet as you looked at him now, all he saw was emptiness in your eyes. Rightfully so.
He cleared his throat and smiled. He put his hands together. “Thank you for the food.” The boys quickly followed afterwards before you all started eating. You sat posed and composed as if last night wasn’t one of the worst nights of your life. Izuku looked up at the three boys. “Actually boys…” He started.
The three of them looked up, heads of green hair perking up as they looked to their large Prohero father who sat at the head of the table. You were quiet as you let him say whatever piece he wanted to say. Whether he wanted to tell the boys or not, you wouldn’t intervene.
“I owe an apology to all of you.” He started. Toshinori’s eyebrows raised in surprise. He glanced at you with an emotionless expression but then looked back at his father. “To you and…” He motioned to the three of them before moving to look at you. You put your hand down silently allowing whatever he was doing. He put his hand over yours, squeezing it and yet you didn’t squeeze back. “And to your mother. The last six months have been…” He paused. A heavy pause that everyone felt. “Difficult for all of us and I haven’t been around as much as I should have. I’m sorry about that. And so… I’ve decided that I am taking some time off.”
All the boys whipped their heads to look at you as if asking you if it was true. You shrugged. You didn’t know either where this decision had come from, but you were glad that it seemed like he was making true to whatever dribble he had tried to sprout out last night to you.
Toshinori hesitated but looked back at his father with an optimistic look on his face. “That’s… That’s great dad.” He smiled. He looked to his brothers.
Hero and Asahi seemed more excited than you had seen them in a while. Hero nodded his head. “Yah! And just in time for break too! Maybe we can go on a road trip!” He spoke out an idea.
Izuku laughed but nodded. “I was thinking more of a vacation but whatever you boys want.”
“Oh!” Asahi perked up. “What about Australia?”
Toshinori shook his head. “Nah.” He took a bite of his toast. “Mom hates the giant spiders.”
“How about Greece?!” Hero suggested. “Mom was watching Mamma Mia two weeks ago! That place looked so cool and blue!”
You watched the boys bicker about a family vacation which brought a smile to your face. You were glad to see they were some semblances of happy for the first time in a long time.
Your eyes flicked down to where Izuku had his hand over yours still. You gripped his hand immediately taking his attention. You smiled at him as you leaned forward closer to his ear. “Good job, honey.” You said, enough that if the boys looked it would have been innocent, but Izuku knew what that was. He didn’t need it spelt out to him.
You placed a kiss to his lips, brief and to the point, making the boys gag. “Ew!”
“Mom! Please not at the table!” Asahi let out in deep exasperation.
Izuku was still for a moment, tears burning at his eyes. Your kiss was fake. Your praise was fake. Everything was a show, a play for the boys to be happy. You were still disappointed in him. You would always be disappointed in him.
He let out a shaky breath and smiled. “Hey! Leave my wife alone.” He said jokingly.
No matter what, he’d carry for the rest of his life, the fact that he had disappointed you.

yknow the only way id be okay with a quirkless izuku ending is if it shows us that katsuki will reach for him and tell him that he's going to continue being the best hero there is and when izuku says "but i'm quirkless" and katsuki can show the culmination of his growth by telling him that a quirk doesn't change the fact that izukus is HIS HERO.

i think a cool ending could be midoriya forcing one for all into shigaraki/afo and bc of the amount of power from unlocking all the quirks, it causes the quirk singularity theory to come true and the quirks all destroy themselves, leaving shigaraki and midoriya quirkless

╰┈─➤ BEGINNING
Izuku had always wondered how Katsuki was related to him. Bakugo (Name). An angel compared to the devil that Katsuki was. He was only three years his senior with looks that resembled Masaru. His quirk was a bit underdeveloped compared to Katsuki's.. Weak, really.
But that's what he liked. He liked that (Name) didn't judge him for being quirkless. Unlike Katsuki. He still remembered that time (Name) slapped Katsuki for calling him ‘Deku.’
Katsuki hadn't really bothered him after that. His little lackeys, sure, but Katsuki himself didn't say much. Izuku couldn't be sure if Katsuki was even helping him sometimes against the bullies. But he knew Katsuki would never willingly say that he was.
He'd kill if he asked.
Izuku sighed to himself as he tugged off his sweaty suit. Of course the meeting his attended with Iida turned into an ambush by some lowlife villains. They won, obviously, but he still worked up a sweat in one of his favorite suits.
He turned it over to check for damages and to his dismay, there was a large scratch.
“(Name) got me this...” He muttered to himself. He felt the sudden urge to kill someone. (Name) had spent so much money to find a suit that was tailored to his larger body type and didn't rip once his arms went through.
What was he supposed to do?
Logically, fix it.
But emotionally, he wanted the villain who ruined such a special gift to gravel at his feet for ruining such a precious item.
He shook his head. He'd find someone to fix it. Resting it on his chair in his bedroom, he walked over to check his phone before noticing someone was calling him.
Katsuki?
“Hello?”
“Tch, what the hell have you been doing to not answer me? I thought today was your day off?” Katsuki's usually angry voice bled through the phone. But Izuku knew he was a little bit worried.
He could read Katsuki's emotions better now ever since they graduated.
“Sorry. I left my phone at home when I went to visit Iida.” Just a little white lie wouldn't hurt.
“You free now?”
“Yes, why? Did something happen?”
Katsuki paused for a second. “Come straight here. Don't do anything crazy, alright? You worked too hard for your hero's license.”
“Huh? What happened?” Izuku frowned. Sure, he acted recklessly sometimes but he had grown older. He knew to think before acting compared to his high school self.
“It's (Name). I—”
Katsuki frowned as the call ended. He cursed to himself, hoping Izuku was just coming straight his brother's house. Dressed in his hero suit, he wished he could stay longer with (Name) but he had already used his days off two weeks ago.
“(Name)?” He asked, his voice uncharacteristically soft if anyone had heard him. (Name) huffed as he glanced up from his pillow, tears staining his face. His glasses were on the nightstand, the right eye broken from the incident that happened this morning.
“De—Izuku's coming. Are you okay with that?”
(Name) frowned. He was happy to see Izuku, it's been awhile but he didn't want him to see him like this. So weak and broken. (Name) simply nodded, wondering if he was the older brother or did Katsuki really just grow ever since UA.
A harsh knock the door shocked the two as Katsuki grunted. “Stupid nerd...” He stalked off to have a talk with Izuku, making sure (Name) couldn't hear whatever they were saying.
(Name) sighed to himself as he reached over to light a candle, using his quirk. His quirk was stronger than most useless ones but it wasn't like Katsuki's. It couldn't be used in a fight. The fire quirk only lasted a few seconds, like little explosions.
It was good for lighting candles and other mundane things. (Name) only used it a few times for self defense and those few times he ended up hurting himself as well.
It was rare that a quirk could also hurt the user. Well, until Izuku came along with an alarming amount of broken arms from his own quirks.
“(Name)-chan?”
“Zuku!” (Name) grinned, a childlike grin on his lips. Izuku was larger than the small home that he shared with Katsuki. (Name) held his arms for a hug that Izuku awkwardly returned.
“Kacchan left. I'll be staying here until he comes back.” Izuku said, sitting down on the bed. The small tv was playing some random American action movie. (Name) hummed.
“Sorry to bother you on your day off,” (Name) laughed. “What happened was really silly...” He glanced over at Izuku to blink at the angry look he was giving him.
“Silly? Getting attacked is silly to you?”
(Name) frowned. When did he get so serious...?
“Eh, no! I was just—”
“Your boyfriend attacked you in public. You had to use your quirk to defend yourself,” Izuku grunted, a scowl on his lips. “I knew he was a terrible person.”
“Huh?”
Izuku's face flushed. He hated every boyfriend (Name) got. There was always an inching pain in his heart that wanted to scare away—or kill—the men in your life. It always ended up being true because of how often they broke (Name)'s heart.
This is just the first time they ever physically hurt you. (Name) huffed, hating how Izuku was somehow inferring he had terrible taste in men.
He did! But that doesn't mean he liked hearing it from someone else.
“Sorry, that was out of line...” Izuku muttered.
(Name) shook his head. “It's fine. There's some truth to that. I'm sorry for having to continually bother you with boyfriend drama.”
“It's not boyfriend drama, (Name).”
(Name) blinked. That was one of the first time Izuku dropped the honorifics from his name. He looked over at Izuku and reached over to touch his arm. They stayed like that in silence before Izuku finally spoke.
“I hate seeing you with anyone.”
“Like with friends?”
“Romantically.”
“Do you like me, Izuku?”
Izuku's face was flushed red as he looked at everything but (Name). (Name) wished he could properly see but without his glasses--things were blurry far away.
“I love you, (Name). I want to keep you as my own. Even when I was younger. Ah, I'm sorry for being creepy. I can get someone else to watch over you!” Izuku panicked, sitting up abruptly.
(Name) grabbed his hand, “wait! You didn't let me answer.”
“Huh?” Izuku turned around to face him.
“I like you too. I just thought it would be weird to have feelings for my little brother's friend.”
“I'm not Kacchan's. I'm yours.” Izuku muttered, kneeling down to press a kiss on (Name)'s lips. (Name) returned it with a smile on his lips as he pulled away with a giggle.
Izuku grasped (Name)'s hands and glanced down at the recent burn mark on them. (Name) frowned, body fidgeting at the sudden attention towards it. He wanted to ignore it. Much to his surprise, Izuku brought the hand to his lips and...
Licked it.
He licked it.
(Name) gasped, mouthing widening to oppose this but only a whimper came out as Izuku nipped at his hand. He could only watch as Izuku's much larger hand practically engulfed his. Each little kiss and lick made him shiver.
Part of him was disgusted hygiene wise while the other was very much into Izuku licking him.
“Do you want to wait?” Izuku suddenly muttered, glancing up with half-lidded eyes that (Name) was sure most fangirls dreamed of at night.
“Wait for what...?”
Izuku blinked, his sudden alter ego seemingly vanishing. “Ah, I'm sorry! I'm rushing things, aren't I?!” His face was full of panic that (Name) could only giggle.
“It's fine... I want you. I waited so long for you.”
Izuku's lips turned upwards into a boyish grin. (Name) was beginning to wonder how long Izuku loved him. It had to be longer than himself.
“I'll show you how long I loved you, (Name).” Izuku whispered.
“You're tight, (Name). Did your other boyfriends not fuck you right?”
(Name) whined, arching his back as he looked away. It had happened so fast. Izuku wasn't as innocent as he looked. The way he opened him and instantly found his prostate was scary. It truly took only two minutes before (Name) was a muttering mess beneath him.
And now this. With the constant squeaking of the bed of the bed, slapping of wet skin, and Izuku's sudden boost of confidence—(Name) wasn't sure he truly knew him.
“Don't... ngh, say that!”
Izuku simply smiled and pressed a chaste kiss on (Name)'s neck. (Name) squealed as his legs were grabbed as Izuku pushed them towards his ears, effectively bending him in a way he never believed was possible. Izuku's dick was large, just like the rest of his body and the burn that (Name) felt was pleasurable and painful.
“Sorry, (Name)-chan... I don't think I can last long,” Izuku grunted, his face turning bright red in embarrassment.
(Name) wasn't sure why he was embarrassed. He was ready to give two minutes ago from the harsh thrusting. A pathetic whimper left his lips as he tried to ignore the sinful squelching of his asshole. He was going to die if Izuku didn't come already.
“Its...mmh! okay. We have...” (Name) gasped at a particular harsh thrust. “Other days!”
(Name) blinked at the feeling of something wet touch his chest. He glanced up to see Izuku on the verge of tears. Only a huff of laughter left (Name)'s lips. Izuku still was a crybaby at heart.
“Then we can have a family in the future...” Izuku muttered. (Name) wasn't sure if he was supposed to hear that part.
“Uh...?”
Izuku brought a hand to (Name)'s more chubbier stomach and a smile formed on his lips. “I wish you could give birth.”
“Pervert...” (Name) giggled, trying to ignore the way he suddenly tightened around Izuku's cock at the thought. Izuku seemed to notice as a subtle smirk ghosted his lips as he quickened his thrusts.
The last minute was the both of them chasing their release as Izuku leaned down next to (Name)'s ears and whispered:
I'm sure we can make this a reality soon.
It shouldn't have made (Name) cum but it did. Izuku was soon right after, a blush ghosting his face as if he wasn't the one who brought breeding in the first place. (Name) simply hummed and wrapped his arms around Izuku, grinning at the warm cum inside of him.
It was going to suck taking it out but he'll enjoy it right now.
“I love you, Izuku.”
“Love you too...”
Before a quick slumber could take over the two—the door opened showing a pissed of Katsuki.
“I said watch my brother, not fuck him, you shitty nerd!!”
Oh, he was screwed.

Mha Guys And Their Love Languages Pt.1
———————————————————
Featuirng: Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Eijirou Kirishima, Keigo Takami (Hawks), Shouta Aizawa! —————————————————————————————
Tumblr media
I.Midoriya: •Words Of Affirmation•
he loves encouraging and motivating others so it’s no surprise he gets all warm and fuzzy inside when the roles are reversed and your the one peppering him with motivational words letting him know what a good job he’s doing even if it’s something small, whisper sweet nothings in his ear and you have this boy on his knees. after all he’s been through with being told he’ll never make it as a hero being quirkless and what not having someone by his side to tell him that he is worthy and can do it makes his heart swell.
Tumblr media
K.Bakugo: •Acts Of Service• bakugo isn’t the best at expressing himself verbally so he shows you he cares instead, you need help with dishes? he might fake pout and say your more than capable of doing it yourself but helps you with relatively no complaints, left your bag at home? he’s already dashing down the block . in turn he likes when you reciprocate the same for him wether it’s helping him train, or carrying his bag for him when his muscles get tired.
Tumblr media
S.Todoroki: •Quality Time•
coming from a family as broken as his he’d never really experienced spending time with people he’d cared about other than his classmates so when you waltzed into his life he’d like to spend every moment possible doing stuff with you wether it’s watching TV, feeding the ducks at the lake, or eating takoyaki he’s just happy to bask in your presence and enjoy each others company.
Tumblr media
E.Kirishima: •Acts Of Service• he’s a high believer in chivalry so it makes sense that in a relationship he tries to be the most chivalrous of them all! opening doors, fetching you things, getting stuff off the top shelf for you this man does.it.all! though in turn he loves it when you do the same for him, prepared to be called ‘so manly’ regardless of your gender.
Tumblr media
K.Takami: •Quality Time• let’s face it, being a pro hero is stressful especially if you’re number 2, so after long hours of patrolling keigo thinks there's nothing better than spending quality time with his partner. with you his facade can drop and he can just be and he adores that most, so expect a lot of lazy days in bed when he’s not on duty and lounging around his hero agency -when he has a rare break- playing a dumb mobile game together.
Tumblr media
S.Aizawa: •Quality Time• sleepy boy just lovessss spending time with his S/O and what better way than napping with him after a long day of teaching? or perhaps indulging in book together you nestled in his lap like a cat. quality time together is uhow he shows he cares even if he may be away teaching during the day, when he comes home for the night he’s all yours! (if he doesn’t fall asleep right away that is!
