clauses, clashes: debater!yuu || heartslabyul, savanaclaw
Tumblr media
riddle rosehearts
"[name] is an excellent debater. i enjoy starting debates on any topic, be it law, morality, religion, education, or livelihoods, as they are well-informed about the happenings of both their and our worlds. it is a pleasure to talk to them and indulge in their debates regardless of the topic. one time, i did see them ask leona about the economic situation in the sunset savannah so they could prove a point. they are quite fearless."
trey clover
"[name] being a debater is nothing new, if you've ever heard them talk. they love debating with riddle and azul, it gives them a lot of information about twisted wonderland, and they keep themselves and the top students of the second year in check, if you get what i mean. overall, i don't really mind how loud and decisive they can get sometimes, but how much they know and can discern does shock me."
cater diamond
"yep, i heard about [name]-chan being a debater, but i thought of it as some weird rumours until i saw them debating about climate or something with riddle, i don't even know what it was till today. they're intelligent, well-aware... i mean, what else does the ideal student look like?! they're also somehow one of the top 10 in the first years, maybe because they've already been through a few years of schooling in their own world? woah!"
ace trappola
"haha, [name]'s scary, the way they look when they're debating, i mean. they get fierce and stuff, and then they launch with rapid-fire facts and questions that make it difficult for any normal dude to answer. only people i've ever seen answer them right away are riddle-senpai, azul-senpai, and leona-senpai. takes guts and some recklessness to be fighting them with words, but maybe they're doing something i'm not, since they're scoring well. should i try debating with riddle-senpai too?"
deuce spade
"[name] is super scary and awesome when they're in debater mode. i'm being serious, stop chuckling! one time, they walked up to malleus draconia himself and just launched into conversation! i don't even know what it was about, but he looked so confused before smiling and nodding to whatever they were saying. no wonder they're in the top 10 all the time... their academic sources are terrifying."
leona kingscholar
"the herbivore being a debater's real interestin', to be honest... i haven't seen many people who can speak confidently about a variety of topics like they can. they came to me once, asking about the economical condition of the sunset savannah in the last decade. couldn't tell 'em much, but they insisted i helped. weird kid, roamin' around so freely in the lion's den..."
ruggie bucchi
"[name] is super cool, y'know?!?! heard them debatin' with azul once in the mostro lounge, over over-prized foods 'n' drinks and why that would hurt business in the long run. safe to say azul listened to 'em and brought his prizes down by a bit, and suddenly we're all busier than expected, especially then they mentioned delivery apps and discounts that allowed stores in their world to connect with customers all over the globe. sounds interestin', don't it? the best part is, i can finally afford 2 coffees a day at the lounge with the leftovers of whatever leona's paying me, shishishishi!"
jack howl
"i did hear that [name] was good at debating, but i've yet to see it for myself, you know. it's a shame that nrc doesn't participate in such competitions, otherwise they'd be able to shine here too, build some sort of a reputation other than just "the magic-less human", you know? they're well-learned with the capacity to learn more, but the way that they hyperfocus and absolutely zone out sometimes is terrifying."
Tumblr media
request by @red-viewe: Hi soru! can i request like hcs on a mc/reader who is rlly good in debating? And like how savannaclaw and heartstahyul would react? Take ur time ofc and make sure to take care of urself!! -red❤

I am absolutely living for the Stardew art. I love that game so much and have over 600 hours of playtime in it. I did have a little bit of a request but feel free to ignore! Could you rate all of the potential spouses based on your personal interpretations?
Hiii!! Yes yes yes thank you for this ask- I planned to do quick portraits anyways! <3 <3
But let's start!!
[PLEASE DO NOT REPOST, reblogs welcome! >:3c)
Harvey: 10/10
Tumblr media
Handsome yes yes
Very sweet and loyal like bro LETS GO that's all I need
Doctor?? AKA he fixes up love interest who regularly gets into trouble? Endless possibilities BRO this is my favorite trope to write/draw about
HOWEVER HARVEY DOESN'T ACCEPT ANY INSURANCE HE JUST CHARGES OUR ASSES bro I'm trying to have a tender moment of almost dying and him worrying and then BOOM hands me my bill like "see you at home honey ily"
Overall he would treat us right yes
Animals LOVE his ass but he's awkward with them LOL
He's often a tired man due the clinic but he'll pull through to do things with the farmer when they're dating (like outings)
In the beginning when farmer is frequently getting hurt in the mines and being brought in hurt, he buys them a walkie-talkie. He's said multiple times that he doesn't recommend going in those dangerous places but learns that farmer's determined to keep going so he'll do what he can to make sure they can relay when they need help
He'll chime in on the walkie when he sees farmer going towards the mines and has them check things off a mental list (hi, this is Harvery- going to the mines? Do you have your weapon? How about food? You have your first-aid kit on you too right?)
This man will be TENSE the whole day when he knows farmer is in the mines. He'll only ease up once he knows they're not in there anymore
Disclaimer: from here on most of what I write will be 100% from my head because I haven't married anyone else yet LMFAO
Sam: 10/10
Tumblr media
I interpret him as the golden retriever type- very hyper and friendly
That just makes him 1000% more loveable
HE'D TREAT US RIGHT
Very good with kids cause of Vincent which is like YES
A little blunt sometimes but that's wassup
Doesn't eat the best (AKA I give him two pizzas every week. Hmm. So maybe that means I'M the problem lol)
Also doesn't really know a lot of cooking, but when he moves in farmer finds new-looking cookbooks tucked away in his spaces
I feel like he'd be the type to have a switch in attitude- he's v friendly UNTIL he has reason to distrust/not like someone and then he'll flip from bright to cold (especially if the person has bad intentions about somebody he cares about)
Doesn't realize farmer and him are dating he just thinks they’re hanging out a lot and just kissing as really good friends
When he does realize they’re dating he gets all flustered and red
Would let you win at Mario-Kart
Despite his goofiness, he knows how to be a gentleman. He's always keeping an eye on farmer and making sure they're okay. If they're out together, the moment the sun goes down his jacket is on farmer's shoulders. When it's raining and he wakes up late and sees that farmer has gone out of the house for the day, he'll get up quick and run around with an umbrella and a thermos of hot coffee until he finds farmer. He'll follow farmer around with the umbrella covering mostly farmer, so he gets pretty drenched.
Very vocal about his love
Shane: 10/10
Tumblr media
Ah the chicken man himself
ALSO GREAT WITH KIDS but in a different light- he's way more protective about them whereas Sam is more the laid-back and playful parent-figure (he throws his children into the air)
Recovering from his alcoholism and the habits that came with it (messiness and cluttery) but he's trying his best aww
Will rub his stubble on your face when he comes in for a hug ouchie
Even though he is not a dad- he just comes with dad stuff (dad outfits, dad jokes, EVERYTHING)
His chickens are protective of him so you must prove yourself worthy
(In my headcanons, Joja is kinda twisted) Will start to distance himself from Joja after farmer tells him of how they're trying to hurt the Junimos. He may eventually quit to work elsewhere, even though he doesn’t really know what Junimos are but something about farmer telling him about them seems sincere
He's very cuddly after getting to know him and dating. His love language happens to be physical touch and every touch makes him fall harder
This also means he gets a little sad when it's summer and too hot to cuddle that farmer turns around in their sleep. He gets pouty in the morning after until he gets a kiss LMAO
He'll frequently realize how messy he leaves his spaces, and will clean up. He tries to upkeep the cleanliness and manages it for a few days before it starts to get messy again. Sometimes it lasts a while, but sometimes it just slips his mind due to bad habits
Farmer pops into mind every time he has an urge to drink, and he'll shake it off and go do something else for them. He's DETERMINED to be the best person he can be for farmer
Alex: 10/10
Tumblr media
A little rough at first lol- his attitude is very icky in the beginning BUT he's cute
Once you get through that exterior he practically does a 180- HE'S SO SWEET AND CARING and no longer uhhh icky
He would tackle things for you (can he help farmer out of the mines when they pass out in the game? If he does I'd like to think he just picks them up and BOOKS it for the exit knocking anything in his path down LMFAO)
Becomes pouty when he gets a little jealous
Again he's very sweet- he kisses Evelyn and George on the cheeks every morning before he leaves the house, he often thinks about his late mom and visits her grave with flowers from Pierre's and has a small picnic there
I feel he would be prone to dreams about his mom, waking up in a cold sweat and tears. After the 8-heart event he gets up and does something sweet like making a whole breakfast for Evelyn & George or giving Dusty some quality time with walks, playing, and a good treat
Will be extremely protective over farmer. Farmer gives him a heart attack every time they go to the mines or the skull cavern or even in the sewer like baby what are you doing WHY ARE YOU GOING INTO THE MANHOLE
The caves he can't follow farmer with because he knows he isn't trained to fight monsters like farmer is and might hold them back instead, but he'll wait outside or tell Harvey that farmer's in the mines instead
Doesn't come out with it but he needs a lot of reassurance due to abandonment issues. He gets a little clingy and touchy but a little shy. (reaching for farmer’s hand/just pinching onto a part of the farmer’s clothes and holding on)
Sebastian: 10/10
Tumblr media
This one might be rough cause I've never really felt much for him IM SORRY
Once farmer asks him out he's very unsure how to proceed. He'll call them things like dude and bro *with love*
It's literally like pulling teeth for him to call farmer honey just cause he's never been the affectionate type till now hehehe he'll try to say it and then drop to his knees like OTL and curl up (He'll get it eventually tho- this is just like the first few months LMFAO)
He has frogs right? He'll show you his frogs
Your void chickens will love this emo boy they just vibe y'know?
He shows his love through acts of service and gifts, finding out the things you love and bringing them to you
As awkward as he is, his true intentions are very evident when he starts to really try to reconnect with Robin and asking her for advice on most anything he hasn't much a clue about.
He wants to be able to properly feel like part of his family, because farmer tells him that he deserves to feel loved there too. He’ll have a difficult heart-to-heart with Robin, Demetrius, and Maru and over time the family dynamic starts to heal. Sebastian is eternally grateful for farmer and tells them about the relationship and they’re all overjoyed to have farmer as part of the family too
He WILL stop smoking if farmer ever raises concern for his well-being
He starts to come out of his shell more (in general) as he and farmer progress their relationship. He tries his best to be a great partner, and everyone can sense that his demeanor is a little bit brighter than before. He starts to not be as shy about PDA too
He has many hoodies for farmer to steal HOWEVER they're all the exact same pair HAHAHA
Elliott: 10/10
Tumblr media
I may also struggle with Elliott for similar reasons
Handsome right off the bat bro
But you'll never be able to be the one with the great hair in the relationship cause man he dominates in that
I see him as a gentle lover- very old-school romantic
He writes farmer love poems and songs often HE WILL SERENADE FARMER EVEN THOUGH HE'S ALREADY MOVED IN
Has pictures of farmer EVERYWHERE like his desk, in his books and notebooks, and has one of those accordion picture holders in his wallet of farmer and himself (and their child(ren) when time comes) He shows them off to the other villagers at the Saloon even tho they literally know farmer LMAOO
Has a very comforting vibe to him- he knows how to coddle farmer after they take a visit to the clinic
He'd let farmer use his favorite pen, trusting that it would return to him
Romantic gestures are EVERYWHERE. Songs, poems, so many pretty flowers in farmer's hair.
I think he'd be the best cook out of everyone. Farmer wants to go out on a fancy date out of the village?? S'NOT GOOD ENOUGH- Elliott will change the whole decor of the kitchen and spend hours cooking and preparing for farmer to come home and then he plays all the roles (waiter, bus person, lover, etc) through the entire meal. But if farmer really actually wants to go out he'll go with it
Bachelorettes will be done in part 2 soon!

28 ASKS! :DD THANK YOU!! 🍪
Tumblr media
@spiritflower-galaxy (Thank you! :DD)
WAIT HANG ON NO NO--
I'm not getting into cookie run! I don't play the games or know any of the lore. Nor am I particularly motivated to really learn much about it on my own time..
I want to clarify that I just really liked the art style! <:D All the colors and themed characters,, it looked really fun! So I scraped together all the knowledge I needed to make some characters for it and then stopped there..
Now I'm not against people rambling in my ask box and doing all the lore research for me.. 👀💅.. just saying that I'm not going out of my way to learn the cookie run lore on my own time- <XDD
Tumblr media
(Post in question)
I didn't have a name in mind for him, no.. :(( though he might be named something moth related. If I could access my files- I would have shown you that he was meant to have moth wings! :00
Tumblr media
@youlikwjazz004
I haven't seen chapter 3 or any of the angst about it.. <:( sorry!
Tumblr media
@taizarack (Post in question)
XDD She really is a goblin. And because she is the most powerful member of the group, no one can really tell her no-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Daww, thank you!! :DD
Tumblr media
@drawingdragon7
I've thought about that! :0 I just never got around to drawing it <XDD 💔 Some kind of leather pads that they tie to his feet. Kind'a like cursed horseshoes <XDD
Tumblr media
Thank you so much!! 🥰🥰 I wish the same for you!! :}}
Tumblr media
.. well? Does she taste good? :0 I imagine a cookie with tomato and meat in it wouldn't taste the best-- XDD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
:DDD Thank you! :}}
Tumblr media
XD Everything is a 10/10 to her!
Tumblr media
@catpop12343
:DD THANK YOU! I'm glad you like what you see! :}}}
Tumblr media
@couchwow
I love the art style! And wow, Bluey?? Bingo?? Who let you two into the radiation cabinet?-- XDD /pos
Tumblr media
Idk if they would necessarily.. bond.? Over their similar traumas?.. but perhaps there would be a level of understanding between them.
Like, if Papyrus has these strange specific fears or habits due to his trauma. No one would know how to handle it, or understand it better than Jevil could.
....Maybe that's exactly what you meant by bonding over their trauma and I'm just dumb-- <XDD
Tumblr media
And how easy it was to dispose of them. Thats haunting XD
Tumblr media
(Post in question)
Thank you! :D And aw, what a shame. I had a lot of fun with that movie :(
Tumblr media
@raptor1312
XD Well I'm not into the games exactly-- but thank you! I'm very glad to hear that you like my OCs!! :DDD
Tumblr media
(Post in question)
Aw, I'm really sorry actually. I felt the same way in the end. I felt like having this really creepy and twisted story with Papyrus as the focus was interesting and fun!.. But not giving him any kind of salvation.? That made it not fun anymore. It was just plain sad. :(
And don't worry about the "possible" part. Its totally canon now XD Papyrus canonically gets yoinked from his sad AU and finds peace with his new friends. :)
As for Seam and Jevil, its.. complicated.
They kiiind'a keep him at arms length..? And its mostly due to the trauma they associate with him and the fact they feel so bad for having abandoned him. They just don't know what to say..
But of course, Papyrus has such a big heart. He fully understands that they're not super comfortable around him just yet. So he kindly gives them space and avoids the subject around them.
Not to worry though. Eventually the tension will dissolve and he will build true friendships with the both of them. :)
Tumblr media
@chickenheadguy
Its nice to not have to do any of the research myself I tell you what! XDD
Tumblr media
@citrusfruitman
XDD Ok so the story with that is-- in my Sister Location AU I'm thinking that William Afton is using his circus as a front to go from town to town murdering kids..
What I mean about Funtime Freddy being safe to hug "for now".. is that I haven't fully decided if I want William to murder kids by having the animatronics snatch them up.. Ooorr if he just uses them/the circus as one big lure and distraction and does all the murdering himself.
So far I kiiind'a like the idea that the animatronics are innocent and aren't used as tools to murder kids. But that could change. So Freddy is safe to hug!.. For now.. :)
Tumblr media
If they somehow ended up there they'd probably just hide in the shadows. If it seems safe and they can find food? They'll stay a while! :}
Tumblr media
(Post in question)
Same here! Ngl I was expecting a negative response to those drawings. Considering how insane the movie is- Glad I'm not the only one who had fun with the movie or at least saw its potential! :D
Tumblr media
@butshesgotthespirit
:DDD THANK YOU!!! I'm so glad you like how I reimagined them!! :}}
Tumblr media
XD I remember that ask, I shall respond to this one with the same images!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"But you haven’t seen my face before..
…right….?"
(WOW these drawings are old. Bibi isn't even there! <XD💔)
Tumblr media
@oliepoki
I wish I actually had anything to tell you XD those 3 characters are a bit underdeveloped--
So far though I've planned that Urchin and Cuttlefish are besties. Think Bratty and Catty from Undertale..? I had plans for Cuttlefish to be an experienced pirate that came from another crew. She somehow became indebted to Seafoam and by the time she paid her debt.. she was really attached to the crew. So she stuck around.
Though with her personality being sly and crafty.. I would expect her to find a way to slip through the crew fingers and escape instead of paying her debt. Soooo that backstory might be given to another character or at least has to be altered in some way..
For Spider Crab I'm playing around with the idea that he is the crews medic. Also I think him, Louis and Octo would be friends. I can see Louis always dragging Spider into doing fun activities with the rest of the crew XD Also Him and Octo are close becuase they both understand/respect each others space... that and Octo isn't loud and obnoxious like Louis is XDD
That's unfortunately all the info those characters have atm.. thank you for taking interest in them though! :DD It makes me very smile :}}
Tumblr media
GASP!! :000 THANK YOU SO MUCH!! :}}} Right back at you!! :DD 👉👉✨✨✨

Headcanons for @chantillymoon
This was really fun to do! I am currently up to episode 261 of One Piece (Water 7) so please keep that in mind while reading. Because I haven't officially met Brook yet, all of my headcanons are based on what I've read in fanfics and a bit of research so hopefully I'm not too far off.
Platonic headcanons on the rest of the Straw Hat crew can be found here!
Fandom: One Piece
Characters: Brook and Usopp x gn! Reader (separate and platonic)
Tumblr media
I see Brook as someone who’s always got a song stuck in his head. And he’s going to make it everyone’s problem. But is it really a problem when he actually has the voice for it? Yes. Yes, it is. Especially when you’re listening to him humming the same part of that one song for the tenth time that day.
At the same time, he’s great to have around if you’ve got a song stuck in your head. Brook knows so many songs that you’d be hard pressed finding one he couldn’t sing for you. And if he doesn’t know the song, he’s pretty good at picking up tunes quickly.
Have sore muscles? Those bony fingers are great for digging into twisted muscles and sore spots. Brook may have gone through a lot because of his Devil Fruit but he’s glad he can do something with it to help his friends.
He’s got a surprisingly good eye for fashion…if he had eyes! In all seriousness, please take him with you next time you need to go shopping for clothes. Between him and Nami, you’ll get back to the ship with a whole new wardrobe full of amazing clothes that suit you perfectly.
Whether you’re quiet or talkative, Brook loves just being in your presence. If you’re on the quiet side, he likes the tranquillity of sitting in companionable silence with someone. And if you’re talkative, he enjoys listening to everything you have to say.
Similarly, Brook’s great to talk to if you want to get anything off your chest. He’s a good listener and won’t spread around anything you’ve told him unless he thinks it could harm the crew (even then, he’d most likely keep it secret for a while). He also gives really good advice.
Brook missed out on a lot during his time in the Florian Triangle so he enjoys having a younger friend to help bring him up to speed. That being said, he’s an absolute menace with the way he mixes slag from his era with modern day sayings. Think something along the lines of “oh, they know their onions, they're no noob” and "ok you cad, time to catch these hands".
If you want to learn how to play an instrument or sing, Brook is more than happy to help. He’s had decades of practice and, even though he’s a bit rusty at explaining things to others, he’s patient and dedicated to teaching you.
Tumblr media
Everyone has that one artist friend. And Usopp definitely falls into that category. He’s constantly got a sketchbook with him and will draw anything and everything. If you’re also into art, you’ll definitely bond over that.
Will absolutely hid behind you in battle. Whether you’re taller than him or not, he feels comfortable enough around you to chose you as his hiding spot.
Makes up stories about your bravado and wild adventures as well. While the other straw hats might react badly to Usopp telling stories about them, even if they are meant to improve their reputation, he hopes you will react differently.
In the same manner, Usopp would love to practice his pre-battle speeches with you and get some feedback. He’s a theatre kid at heart but he needs someone he trusts to work on his lines with. As one of his closest friends (and someone hopefully less judgmental than Nami), you fit that description.
He is also the perfect person to tell you stories about the other straw hats, especially if you joined later. He’s an entertainer and, even if he exaggerates his role in events, you’re able to piece together their adventures to date.
Much like Brook, Usopp has a good eye for fashion, but more from the perspective of figuring out what colours and patterns go together. If you’re struggling to put together an outfit, he’s more than happy to give you his two cents worth.
Gossip buddies! If you like gossip or have a way of knowing things about people, you, Usopp, and Nami are the designated “gossip squad” of the straw hats. Usopp is always a good source of information, even if he tends to embellish sometimes.
If you have long hair and don’t feel like tying it up, Usopp should be your first port of call. Sure, Sanji’s amazing with styling hair but he’s usually busy in the kitchen and Nami and Robin usually wear theirs down. Usopp has the free time and skills to help you out. Fair warning though, he may get carried away by his creative tendencies.

Dante hesdcanons pls pls pls pls pls
I'll admit, I haven't given blue hair and pronouns enough love, so let's give it to him.
Dante was like 18 fresh out of the guard academy when Aph met him, compared to Garroth and Laurance who are in their mid to late twenties, and he was kind of just a little feral. Dante is just used to being a bewildering presence for people and he loves it. Like "Yes, I am basically a very tall child (5'7) and yes I will kick your ass." He likes confusing people, but he also really likes that Aph isn't thrown off by him. She treats him the way she would treat any guard she got roped into helping on a mission.
Dante's favorite color is magenta. Don't ask me why.
Dante carries on the honored tradition started by Gene of being a completely disastrous bisexual. Then again, with Garroth, Aph, and Laurance as his other role models, he really didn't stand a chance. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he thinks about the possibility of just being with Nana and Nicole at the same time. He knows it's impossible, they've already pushed the situation past the point of no return because of his and Nicole's refusal to communicate, and he can't even begin to fathom how he'd explain it to the kids if Nana and Nicole even agreed to it.
Dante's favorite sweet that Nana makes is strawberry tarts. Strawberries are just his favorite fruits and Nana is always able to make something delicious with them.
This is basically canon but I want to turn up Dante's "I love my wife so god damn much!!" energy to 11. Like even if there's problems with Nicole, especially after they're resolved, he's so in love with Nana it's ridiculous. Y'know the way Maes Hughes is in Fullmetal Alchemist about his wife and kid? That's how Dante is.
And nobody can even really be mad at him because he's so earnest and loving and especially his mentors are so proud of him for really finding love and learning to cherish it. But there is more than a few times when Dante is gushing about his wife to Laurance while they're sparring and Laurance just groans and rolls his eyes. "Dante, I literally knew your wife before you did." "But you don't understand how she makes me feel Laurance! She's so brilliant, and beautiful--" "I've already heard you go on this rant before!"
There are some days where he's sort of distant. They became more and more frequent after Aph and everyone disappeared. Sometimes he would just go out to the gates of Phoenix Drop where he waited for them, or to that spot in the forest where they were last seen. He doesn't really say a lot, just stares at those spots, letting his brain feeling the crushing loneliness of missing almost everyone important to him. History has repeated itself. Due to forces that were honestly largely out of Dante's control, he's lost his entire family.
When Nana told him she was pregnant, Dante started crying. Tears of joy, relief, terror, grief, adoration, hopefulness. He just falls to his knees while holding her hand and cries. And Nana kneels down and comforts him. She knows what this means to him, how important and yet twisted Dante's relationship to having a family is. But neither one of them doubt that the other wants this. Dante wants this more than anything.
Oh my Irene he must have been a MESS after finding out about Dmitri. I know the show gave us some of this, but he probably hid a lot of it from Aph because she hasn't been around for so long, and he saw the kind of relationship bull shit she is still kind of getting up to, so he doesn't want to burden her with this. But when everyone's gone home for the night and it's just Nana and Dante in their bed together?
Needless to say a lot of tears were shed, apologies were stumbled through, and Dante ultimately resolves that he wants to be an even better father than he is to make up for not being there for Dmitri. And Nana assures him he's already a great father (because he is), but adores how dedicated her husband is to making up for his past mistakes in a very substantial way.
It takes a very long time for Dante to forgive Nicole. He still loves her, he never won't love her honestly, but he can't forgive her for hiding Dmitri from him. Even if they weren't together when he was born, he still would have done anything Nicole needed. Whether that was keeping Dmitri in his home for a few weeks, or just giving Nicole monthly payments, Dante would have taken what he could get. He's heartbroken that after all the time they spent together Nicole didn't realize that about him. Even if he'd "moved on".
I don't think Dante is capable of moving on. He's a character who constantly gets stuck in the past and shoulders the consequences of not only his own mistakes, but the mistakes of many others around him. Even when he tries to move forward, his past keeps coming back to bite him in the ass.

Albatross makes me sick. He makes me ill. How does one even get to a point like this. I don't understand. The fixation on this one character is so strong.
In other words, here's that ramble I promised. It's literally just me talking about the massacre with supporting context from my fic that I haven't even written about yet. Why? He makes me that diseased.
I think there's something to be said about the nature of a character who's life begins with violence and ends with it. Albatross discovers his magic via trying to defend himself against Sapphire and Lagoon, and his final few moments alive are spent taking the lives of Lagoon and anybody else in a general vicinity.
He never wanted this. If anything, he wanted his legacy to be more than that. He wanted to be remembered as more than an animus who hurt others. Lagoon defined him as a monster who could barely contain himself, and Albatross believed it. He didn't want others to remember him as such. He wanted to be known as the first SeaWing animus, not some...beast.
I don't think he snapped. He didn't "go insane" or whatever generic trope. I think he was tired. Exhausted. It had been many decades of abuse under Lagoon. When it happened, it was more of a result from years of build-up and pressure finally being released all at once. Tensions are high. Albatross found out that he's going to be replaced by Fathom and likely killed off by Lagoon. Swiftly disposed of as soon as he was obsolete, just like with Marlin. He went in wanting to have a civil discussion, but when things turn worse, he couldn't control himself.
Albatross wanted to see Lagoon bleed the same way Sapphire did all those years ago. He always felt selfish and horrible for this. What kind of person wants to hurt another? That was such a life altering moment. Besides, they were all kids! Little dragonets. They were playing around. They...they didn't mean what they said. It was Albatross who overreacted. It was his fault for it all.
Yet, he hated her. Lagoon was a constant tumour in his life. From that moment on, he was under her control. She would dictate how his life would go. She arranged him to be married with Marlin. She had him have dragonets in hopes that he would have an animus that could replace him. She had him do party tricks. He was like an wild pet to her. Beast of destruction and chaos who had been beaten into submission. A chained lion who wanted little more to be free. An animal who hated the parties they were forced to preform at. A feral creature who wanted to bite and twist the head off the one who trapped them.
He didn't want it to end like this. He always feared it would be like this, but he wanted to avoid it as much as possible. Praying, pleading with himself. He tip-toed around using his magic as much as possible, believing that trying to "preserve his soul" would keep it at bay. Those were just myths. Legends. A lie he would quietly repeat to himself when things seemed most bleak.
But, he couldn't contain it. Since learning that he was being replaced, he knew it was up. Lagoon would send some assassin after him and have him be killed swiftly and like he was nothing. He was nothing to her. His life was meaningless. He was nothing more than her lapdog. This party, some hollow excuse for Lagoon to show off to some SkyWing diplomats, might be the last night he was ever alive.
He had nothing to lose. He wanted something in his life to be of value. To be remembered as more than a footnote in history.
And it happened. That argument. It only cemented what he wanted to do. Like the cracks in the dam finally growing weak enough for the water to burst through. He killed her. Slit her throat and left her dead on the floor, lying there like how he found Marlin all those years ago.
And he loved it. Who wouldn't? After years of being trapped and jumping through flaming hoops for the sake of entertainment, not just biting at the hand that feeds but mauling it entirely was exhilarating. He heard the screams. He heard the cries and shrieks. It was powerful to finally have some semblance of control. Of using his god-gifted powers.
He knew he was going to die this night either way, so why not take down as many as he could? Reason and thought slipped away rapidly as he devolves into pure instinct. Something he once feared he now embraced fully. He feels the freedom and joy of standing up and being seen as the force of nature he was destined to be. Not a servant for others, but an animus. A god.
I think Manta and Eel, his daughter and son, tried to reason with him. The books mention this explicitly. Manta is trying to reach Albatross. Trying to calm him down, Fathom rationalizes. Manta and Eel see their father, who they know has struggled with this all his life, and want to try and help.
This isn't him. They can help him though. They try to reason with him, but he's wild. He's full of paranoia and anxiety. All of these thoughts spill out of his mouth with no filter. It's a mess of "I'm sorry"'s and sentences that seem more like half-formed words stringed together. Manta and Eel try grounding him, but...Splash comes from behind. One of Lagoon's own dragonets. She tries stabbing him in the chest, but he reacts quickly. He kills her.
Albatross breaks further. He assumes that this was a play from Eel and Manta to kill him. His own children. The dragons he loves most. How could they do this to him? Did they never love him? Did they always see him as this force? They wanted to kill him too. They wanted him dead just like the rest of him.
He kills them both. He finishes off the rest of the scraggles, leaving him with only one target in mind: Fathom. He wants to talk with Fathom more than anything. He wants to have one last conversation before either of them dies. The screams have been silenced. It is just him and Fathom that matters.
He finds Fathom in the storage room. He can smell his fear. He monologues and rambles, finally letting these innermost thoughts out. Fathom was just like him. Fathom would've gone down the same path he did had Albatross not...done this. It was necessary. He talks about how he wasted his life before finally striking. He wants to put Fathom out of his misery. To him, he sees it as less of revenge for replacing him, but rather as a means to ensure he would never have the life he had.
But, Indigo attacks instead. He lashes back, fatally wounding her, but Fathom kills him before he can fully do it. The spears plunge into his body. He should be dead, but...he survives enough to stay standing. He remains there, looking at Fathom. He's hunched over Indigo, sobbing and pleading with her to live.
The shock of the spears sobers him enough to have him realize what he's done. His legs shake as he struggles to stay standing. Fathom looks back at him, asking him why he's done this. Asking him why he's not killing them right now.
Albatross winces. He sees the hatred and fear in Fathom's eyes. He tries to speak, but blood gurgles in his throat. The look he gives Fathom says it all though. He murderous rage had subsided. He was...sorry.
But it was too late for apologizes. He had killed dozens. He truly was that monster.
He staggers out of the room and eventually back into the main hall. He finds the statue of Lagoon he had built for her all these years ago. He steps by the corpses of SkyWings and SeaWings he barely knew, yet already mourned the deaths of. He stumbles as he rests his head on the fountain. It's grand. A beautiful piece of art.
He dies there, bowing to the statue of Lagoon.
...he remains there still. The main gimmick of the fic is that Albatross's spirit has survived. He's restless. Unsatisfied. Bound and chained to the abandoned Island Palace for a couple millennia. As a ghost, he wanders the halls. He only ever truly becomes visible and noticeable on certain nights, where the moons above align in such a way.
He cannot rest until he feels he can. The one thing still binding him to this mortal realm is his want to be remembered as more than a monster. More than anything, he wants to be known for what truly happened. To be seen as more than a mad animus.
Eventually, Turtle and the rest of the Jade Winglet come around. It's been thousands of years since the massacre. Turtle is frightened and fearful of it all, but when nightfall comes and the moons shine down from above, he meets the spirit of Albatross by the beach. A specter with a spear still lodged in his body.
Turtle, despite his fear, slowly realizes that Albatross means no harm. Albatross simply wants to tell his tale. His story. This is the framing device of the fic. Albatross telling his entire life's story to Turtle over the course of one night.
By the end, Turtle is in tears. He's crying after hearing about the massacre. He's been through so many ups and especially downs with this story. He feels guilty for ever believing that Albatross was a murderous monster.
They hug perhaps, with Albatross apologizes for subjecting him to such a tale. Turtle tells him that he wants to make up for everything his however-many-great grandfather had been through. He says to Albatross that he wants to spread this story. He's a writer. He wants to put it to paper. Spread to the masses the truth.
And...Albatross smiles. He feels so happy. Finally, after all of these years, somebody listens and trusts him. Somebody, despite viewing him as a horrible monster at first, learns how...broken he was. How horrific it all is.
The sun peaks over the horizon. The night is over. With it, Albatross is fading away. It would be several years before something like this could happen again, yet Albatross doesn't think there will be a second time. He's happy. His one wish, to have his legacy told to another, was fulfilled.
He says goodbye to Turtle and disappears in the blinding light of the sun, leaving the dragonet all alone. Now? He has a story to tell. A tale he wouldn't let others forget. For Albatross's sake.

Decided to revive an old AU for funsies
It was a twisted AU based off a dream I had 3-4 years ago, but recently, I decided to rework it to make it more comprehensible. I like to call it:
Year of the Great Devourer
Tumblr media
I started playing around with the idea of destiny and "what if it didn't happen as written?" What if Garmadon was never bitten by that snake? Our same Garms, Oni and all, but he's just not evil. The elemental master Destruction using his powers for good was just a fun concept.
He is the first to know of the return of the Great Devourer, finally putting together the team that he had sought out years before.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lloyd, this time around, isn't an elemental master. Meaning, he never was forced to age. Being the son of Master Wu, he was actually raised a good kid, unaware of the plans destiny has for his father (who I actually haven't taken the time to draw...). Since the Great Devourer's corruption forced Garmadon to banish his brother to the Neverrelm, Lloyd was taken under Garmadon's wing.
However, he does have power, power that he does not yet understand. After realizing that he was part Oni, he has a personal mission to realize his own true potential, unknowing that such a power would slowly lead to corruption.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cole, the elemental master of Earth, is effectively Lloyd's mentor. In secret, that is. Only the kid (and Garmadon, who's scrolls he may have stolen) is aware of his half-Oni side. His darkened skin and closed off attitude are a result of corruption, and he knows this. He doesn't believe that he can grow and change as a person, but Lloyd sees the good in him and wants to try to draw it out.
Tumblr media
Jay, the elemental master of lightning, is incredibly elementally unstable. Since he's learned about his elemental powers, he's experimented on himself, in an attempt to control them. What he came up with were essentially shock absorbers that go around his arms in an attempt to minimize any unintentional harm.
He has lost an eye in his experiments and is incredibly twitchy, but he learns that controlling his emotions are a very important part to control his powers.
He has also exploded on a numerous occasions.
Tumblr media
Zane, the elemental master of ice, is fully aware of his nindroid side, but acts more human than the rest of his team. Zane has had his powers long before any of the others, so he's basically mastered his craft. He and Dr. Julien, his father and creator, were actually close to Garmadon, have receiving most of his training from him.
Zane, being the most experienced of the group, is effectively the leader. He is also responsible for extinguishing Kai when he tends to overheat and putting out Jay's electrical fires.
Tumblr media
Kai, the elemental master of fire, is effective with the youngest on the team (second to Lloyd). He was raised by his protective (older) sister Nya, who has no elemental power, but has mastered the art of kicking ass.
Kai has anger issues and tends to get a little heated from time to time (metaphorically and literally). The scars on his skin are a result of of some of these bouts, usually by him subconsciously touching his skin when he's upset. Nya had made him heat resisting gloves so he would stop burning himself accidentally. If he gets a little too heated, Zane is usually around to cool him off before he can do some serious damage (Which he finds relatively entertaining).
Nya finds ways to help the ninja in more ways than just elemental powers. She's essentially the emotional support friend :). She's also taking an interest to Jay, which Kai isn't really happy about, leading to many heated "discussions"

Fnaf AU's!!!
#fnaf Inferno au
Basically my version of the events depicted in the stupid bear game :)
#fnaf Death swap
Almost all of the deaths are swapped in the main series. Charlie lives Sammy dies, Charlie's friends are the Mci, Michael dies to baby instead of Elizabeth.
The plot mostly follows a much older Elizabeth Who is soon to turn 22, Lives in a small apartment with her girlfriend Susie and plays in a punk band that she created called "Baby and the circus freaks". One night she gets a call from her father that Michael is still here, at circus babies entertainment in rentals and it's Elizabeth strobbed to put him back together...
# Fractured Memories
Evan survives the bite But understand that he is supposed to die. He also knows that his family all die and become horrible monsters. At tonight he can see the monsters his family becomes. As for the family they're dealing with the physical afflictions of death's not yet to come. All Evan can do is sit back and watch as his memory and reality fractures further
#cub au
Cassie is phone dude's daughter, phone dude dies in FNAF 3 and having no one else to take care of her Michael decides to adopt her.
It's mostly just Michael being a really good dad and Cassie being a cute little kid
#Red Sunrise
the only thing I actually written for:
The premise is Elizabeth dying in the fnaf6 Fire then diving back into the living play after tricking old man consequences
As of writing there's only 2 chapters I'm working on the third but you know life...
#fnaf Rewrite
A rewrite of the twisted ones but mostly the fourth closet novels. Getting rid of the gross stuff and generally trying to improve the story!
#Gears and rot au
William made some robot versions of his dead daughter and son then realized how fucking weird that was and shut them down in the murder clown basement. Years later Michael goes down and does a sister location. The robot version of Evan is able to save him before he becomes a skin suit but Mikey still "dies" from internal bleeding
It's now Michael's job to take care of the little robot even though it is creepy and weird...
#Victorian AU
I can't believe I haven't added this one yet! Should probably summarize it
It's kind of like 5 nights at Freddy's but Victorian... There's some twists added in.. You're just gonna have to go and find out!!!!!
I have like 6 au that I never really did anything with... You can find them if you want...
Cassie in the dark
It's not just a normal AU it's an ask blog!!!

Sunnydrop X Reader X Moondrop
Montgomery Gator x Reader.
So for those of you who like my Fnaf summer camp au, I've written this little drabble of Y/n's first possible meeting with abandoned Sunny and Moondrop.
Sorry it's not quite so good as the other stuff I write, I haven't been feeling like myself lately :)
-------
There's an immense and imperishable serenity surrounding Glamrock Lake, unparalleled in its grandeur and extraordinary in both depth and size. A body of water so vast should be daunting, but with gentle waves that lap at a sandy shoreline and water fowl nesting amongst the bullrushes, it instead exudes a harmless, bucolic air that could soothe the soul of even the most tempestuous beast.
You can certainly understand why Faz Co. decided to build a Summer camp all the way out here, far from the humdrum of modern life.
Sitting with your bare feet dangling over the edge of a rickety, wooden pier, you lean back onto your palms and gaze languidly up at the sky as the last of the sun's rays sink below a jagged treeline, stealing away the lingering warmth of yet another evening.
This will mark your third night at Camp Fazbear, and for as much fun as you've had so far, you aren't averse to moments like this – a little downtime, a few minutes of peace while the kids are busy in the mess hall finishing their supper with the animatronics.
The latter had certainly been a shock to the system when you were introduced on your first day. As the company mascot - Freddy Fazbear - engulfed your hand in his comparatively enormous paw and have it a hearty shake, you found yourself coming to the dawning realisation that you probably should have researched Faz Co. just a little more thoroughly.
Your soon-to-be Camp Director, Richard Meadows, had made brief mention that you'd be working alongside animatronics during the initial interview, but back then, you naively assumed he meant the kind you'd see in some backwater restaurant in the ass-end of nowhere. Robots modelled after animals, strumming banjos with clunky fingers and staring at you with their cold, lifeless eyes.
However, upon arriving just three short days ago, you quickly learned that you'd only been right about them being modelled after animals...
An exasperated sigh slips through your nose, aimed at nobody else except for yourself.
Allowing the very tips of your toes to skim the lake surface, you lazily swing your legs over the water and send pond-skaters zipping about frenetically to escape the ensuing ripples.
“Sorry, guys,” you offer down to them, “Best get used to this though. I think tomorrow is the kids' first lake swim.”
Predictably, the little insects don't deign to respond.
Fair enough.
Lifting a hand, you rub tiredly at the corner of an eye as your jaw unhinges to release an obnoxious yawn. Mr Meadows had invited you to play cards with him later tonight after the campers retire to their beds, but though you appreciate his offer, you know you'll end up declining. It's barely nine, and you're already dead on your feet.
'SNAP!'
The abrupt sound of a splintered branch pierces the peaceful silence like a gunshot, throwing your heart straight up into your throat whilst your stomach takes a nose-dive into your shoes.
That had definitely come from the forest's tree line which looms behind you just a few, measly metres away.
All at once alert, you whip your torso around and almost crick your neck by twisting it violently towards the trees, your eyes on stalks as you scan the shadows.
At your back, the forest lurks like some, great beast of old.
Ancient balsam firs and red spruces have grown into a vast, indomitable labyrinth that stretches in every direction for as far as the mortal eye can see. Fifty million hectares of trees, and so much of the area still uncharted.
These trees are old. So old that some of those growing deep at the forest's centre have turned to petrified wood.
It's down more to instinct than experience that you revere this forest.
Anything could be lurking within the thick, tangible shadows.
Case in point, whatever had just snapped that branch.
A squirrel, perhaps? Or a raccoon?
… No, you decide promptly. The snap was significantly loud, belonging to a tree branch, not a twig. A piece of wood that size would have to have been broken by something much heavier.
Swallowing thickly, you hope to christ you aren't about to come face to face with a bear, or, god forbid, a moose.
“Hello?” you blurt, making your presence known.
Little else but a breeze hushes across the camp in response, disturbing a forest full of leaves that whisper like millions of tiny voices under the dying sunlight.
You wait... and wait some more, hardly blinking for fear of missing something.
You're concentrating so hard on catching movement within the treeline that you don't even notice the crickets have stopped chirping, and the birds in their trees are utterly still and silent. Nature is holding her breath right alongside you.
Suddenly, motion.
Your eyes dart slightly to the left and freeze upon an object that emerges tentatively from behind a wide, dark trunk. It's unexpected appearance sends you scrambling up onto your feet and standing to attention at the end of the pier with your muscles snapped tight in anticipation of a swift escape.
For some time, it's all you can do to watch on apprehensively as the object moves further into view until the last remnants of daylight shine upon a smooth, pale surface, finally giving you something to recognise.
It's... a face... A yellow face, perfectly round and made of plastic casing and silicone, adorned by two, blank eyes that sit widely atop a beaming grin - a grin so vast it stretches from one cheek to the other, never once slipping, even as shock pulls your jaws apart.
The face hangs just a foot above the grass, still half-hidden behind the tree trunk, tilting this way and that until you're hit by the absurd and frankly shuddersome notion that it's assessing you.
It's only fair then, you suppose, that you should assess it in return.
“What on Earth...?” you breathe to yourself, brows drawn together to form a rigid line above your eyes, “Is that... an animatronic?”
You recoil in surprise when at the sound of your voice, the face spins in a circle, whirring all the way around on an axis until it's the right way up again.
Definitely mechanical then.
Something about the revelation eases your thundering heart to a more manageable grumble.
Not a bear. Not a moose. Just a short, grinning animatronic no taller than your knee, if the height of its head is anything to go by.
Just like that, you're at once embarrassed to have been so frightened of such a small bot that's likely only wondering why you're sitting out here alone while the other counsellors are busy having fun in the mess hall with the kids.
It hasn't uttered a sound, save for the near-imperceptible clicks of machinery it emits as its strange head tilts left and right like the wheel of a car, as if it can hardly bear to keep still.
Belatedly, you start to wonder if it's waiting for you to offer up an explanation.
“Oh! Sorry!” you announce abruptly with a little jolt, “Sorry, you, uh... startled me. Hi!”
The animatronic recoils a little, and you're further stunned when several vibrant, orange spikes spring up from somewhere behind its head, as if until now they'd been laying completely flat against the surface, hidden away for a purpose you can't hope to understand.
“You must be one of the camp bots,” you try, clasping your hands together in front of you awkwardly, “I don't think we were introduced yesterday during induction. I'm... sure I'd have remembered you.”
It's face turns and sticks at a sharp right angle and it peers up at you, grinning that unwavering grin. Yet still, it remains perfectly silent.
Shifting on the balls of your feet, you press your lips together until the silence once again becomes more oppressive than you can stand. “I'm Y/n, one of the new counsellors.”
Nothing...
“It's... nice to meet you?”
“... Nice...”
You blink, taken aback for a moment before you realise that the scratchy whisper of a sound hadn't been just another breeze rolling through the forest. The animatronic can speak.
“Um, yeah?” Perplexed, but now far more curious than alarmed, you find yourself venturing a few, hesitant steps closer, smiling down at it. “It's nice to meet you.”
Perhaps... it's some kind of prototype?
Something else emerges from behind the tree next to its head and you instantly freeze mid-stride, shooting the new object a glance. Once again, you feel ever so silly when you realise it's just a hand. A single, yellow digit extends from the bot's closed fist, pointing up at you indicatively.
“... Friend...?” that well-worn voice utters.
“Oh – I...” Uncertain, you glance around as if you might find an appropriate response hanging in the air somewhere nearby. “I... Are you... asking if I want to be your friend?”
Total motionlessness from the bot.
And then, at last, you catch just a hint of motion, a bob of its head. A small, but unmistakable nod.
Your smile returns from where it had fallen and you offer the animatronic a one-armed shrug, replying, “Well... Sure, I mean, I don't see why not?”
Later, you'll look back on this moment and wonder what might've happened if you just said a simple, concise, 'No.'
A change comes over the animatronic all at once, both literally and figuratively. With the reluctance of a stag leaving the safety of his thicket, the bot moves out from behind the tree trunk. And like a gangling scarecrow unfolding itself, it stands upright.
You're put on the back-foot immediately.
“Oh god,” you murmur, sliding one, bare foot backwards until it leaves the grass and finds solid wood beneath it once again. At your sides, your hands knot themselves into quivering fists, bound tightly enough to give a glimpse at white bone bleeding through the skin.
This animatronic is not little. Not by a long shot.
Limbs that resemble skinny tree branches unfurl until it stands taller than Chica, then taller than Freddy, until you'd put money on this new bot easily standing taller than any of the animatronics at the camp. In the last embers of daylight, it pauses to peer down at you, giving you an uninterrupted glimpse of the tattered, striped trousers that hang from its mechanical hips and the overall filth that cakes its plating, covering up what must have once been a dazzling coat of paint.
On creaking limbs left dark by rust and age, the animatronic takes a step.
It covers in that single step the same distance you would achieve with four, sizeable strides, surging into your space with its face tilted to stare down at you, whilst yours tips further and further back just to keep looking it in the optic.
Breath unsteady, you wet your lips, inhaling through your nose as if the scent of pine needles and crisp, evening air will fill your lungs with courage instead of useless oxygen.
“... Friend...” it rasps, pushing the rays around its head forwards until you feel as though you're staring up at the sun itself, locked within its pale, burning gaze.
The lake stands behind you like a waiting wolf, its jaws open to catch you should you take another step back into its icy waters. Suddenly, all of its serenity has fled and you're left just as afraid of the water as you are of the trees.
The animatronic's hand lifts into the air and it stretches its fingers out towards you, moving slow whilst it observes your darting eyes.
“What are...?” Your words die on your lips fingertips of cool silicone ghost delicately across your cheek. You'd flinch away if you weren't so afraid that any sudden moves might provoke it.
“H..Haah,” the animatronic seems to breathe, an impossible feat, given its lack of lungs. “... Soft... soooft, little friend~...” There's a faraway lilt in its voice and careful consideration in its touch, exerting the kind of gentleness one might use to brush their fingers across the petals of a flower.
You take a breath, peeling your cracked lips apart to tell the bot to back up, to stop touching you, but all of a sudden, a different voice twitches your ear.
“Rookie?”
All the air seems to rush out of your lungs as you flick your gaze towards the camp and find a hulking, familiar figure standing there, staring back at you from behind his over-sized aviators, a kayak tucked under one arm.
“Montgomery,” you choke, hating how your own voice catches in your throat.
Montgomery Gator... Life-guard of Glamrock Lake and an integral member of the animatronic team at Camp Fazbear... You don't rightly know whether to be relieved or even more terrified.
Montgomery has made no secret of his disdain for you. From day one, the surly bot slapped you with a demeaning nickname to highlight your inexperience and started going out of his way to insult, berate or torment you.
Now though, he's probably the only person who can help.
'If,' your brain unhelpfully interjects, 'he chooses to do so.'
Ever the pessimist...
The gator moves forward by a mere inch, lifting one leg to place it down in front of the other.
But it seems even that was enough.
In a blur of dizzying motion and screeching metal, something large explodes out of the treeline and hurtles straight for you on all fours.
“No!” Monty hollers.
You've barely had time to turn and face the newcomer when you suddenly feel long, lanky arms snake around your waist, and before you can utter a yelp of shock, you're being hoisted up into the air and slung over a narrow shoulder. A cry for help is swallowed as the world around you starts to move. Fast.
“Sunny, get back here!”
Kicking out to try and dislodge the enormous hand pressed down on top of your thighs, you plant your fists on a solid, metal frame and force your head up, blinking blearily at the swiftly diminishing light filtering in between the trees. You're in the forest, and something is hauling you away from camp at a terrifying speed. Most bafflingly, it isn't the yellow animatronic – Sunny, you imagine – that has you held captive - because Sunny is whizzing silently through the trees behind you, keeping almost perfect pace with who or whatever has you thrown across their shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
Behind him, you can make out the green and yellow flash of Montgomery Gator as he hurtles after you. But although Monty may have full mastery of Glamrock Lake, out here amongst the spruces and pines, he's a fish out of water.
Helpless, your eyes begin to stream as you watch him fall steadily behind, his pistons working overtime to try and keep up, but you know as well as he does that it's a lost cause. These animatronics, whoever they are, pull away from the gator with ease, one grinning down at you with its permanent smile and the other keeping a firm grip on your thighs as you're whisked away into the unassailable forest, shrouded in the darkness of night.

Ramblings About Ep. 1 of the New ATLA Adaptation
Okay, so the other day, I watched the first episode of the new live-action ATLA adaptation (only episode 1, I haven't seen the rest and don't really plan to), and I felt like I should probably share my thoughts (a large part of this is just me hyper-analyzing story-structure stuff).
I'm not quite sure how to feel about the fact that they started before the Air Nomad genocide and at the start of the war, but I kinda like it. It is a major change from the OG show and affects the flow of it, but it's not a terrible decision, and is actually kind of interesting. It also adds something very interesting to the viewing experience and perspective of the show's story.
On the one hand, starting with Sokka and Katara added a bit of mysticality to Aang's appearance as an airbender. We start with the knowledge that airbenders are rare/unfamiliar to a lot of people now, and the idea that they haven't been seen for 100 years is less of a surprise. But that makes Aang all the more surprising. He is a mystery, someone only heard of in stories. It makes airbenders as a whole a more grand reveal.
"The Storm" is also an excellent episode, and makes our perspective on Aang change in an interesting way. We start out viewing him from Katara and Sokka's perspective. He is a silly kid who is slightly mysterious, but is also the savior people have been waiting for for generations. But then the episode "The Storm" comes, and we see a whole new side to him. He goes from "goofy kid" to a really tragic character.
Imagine if we were first introduced to Katara when she was a kid and before her mother died, then saw the Southern Water Tribe raid. Or if we were introduced to Zuko starting at the meeting where he yells at the general, then see the Agni Kai with his father. The emotional impact of both those events would be very different, and out perspectives on those characters would be very different.
Instead of seeing Katara as a motherly and kindhearted, yet inexperienced young girl, then slowly realizing there is a lot more under the surface that she is hiding from everyone, we would start out seeing her as a tragic character who is hiding a great loss. Instead of seeing Zuko as some asshole prince, then learning his backstory after establishing him as an asshole, we would start out on his side and see his downward spiral from there. Our expectations for who they are as characters would be completely different, because our introductions and starting points would be completely different.
But the fact that those would be different doesn't mean that those would be inherently bad. Just a different way of telling a story. It gives the viewer a completely different perspective of the character as a whole despite telling all the same events. Telling the events in a different order changes the viewing experience drastically, but it doesn't mean either method is wrong.
The fact that we start out with the war makes for an interesting plot-twist for those who haven't seen the original show and know nothing about it. When we start out with the war and the Air Nomads, it makes airbenders feel like a part of the norm. They are not quite as mysterious, and are much more familiar to the audience. When we learn of the war, that obviously becomes the point of interest for us. However, if you go in completely blind, you may expect for the plot to partially be about stopping the war before it starts, or preventing the Air Nomads from getting attacked. Your expectations for what will happen in the show are completely different.
We see the Air Nomads as a natural part of the world, and our starting perspective/main introduction to the world (the first two scenes before that are a bit to vague to be used as proper introductions to the world, while the Air Nomads are a bit more solid). They are the norm, and while we likely don't expect to stay with the Air Nomads forever, we likely expect them to remain a part of the world. They are essentially "home" to us, the same way the Southern Water Tribe felt like "home" in the original, even though we were only there for two episodes.
They are still home to our main characters and the starting setting, and thus, us. It is the familiar since it is the strongest point of introduction to the world. So every new location introduced after that will feel unfamiliar, while the starting location will not. This is the case with the Air Nomads. Everything outside of them feels unfamiliar because they are not our starting point of reference. So when the Air Nomad genocide occurs, it is a lot more shocking and upsetting.
Imagine if, in the original show, the reason Katara and Sokka had to leave with Aang wasn't just because they were helping him, but because Zuko and the firebenders burned down the entire village after beating Sokka in the duel. This killed everyone inside, and left Katara and Sokka homeless, with nowhere else to go. It would be a whole new degree of horrifying.
Going back to the point on the Air Nomad genocide and the airbenders in general. We were introduced to Monk Gyatso early on, not as a mysterious mentor we hear about secondhand or in flashbacks, but as one of the major characters who we know a bit more personally. Maybe we expect him to die, but not exactly like this. And more importantly, we don't expect for all the other airbenders to die (unless you guessed based on the title of the show).
These were our main characters. This isn't supposed to happen. And yet, it does. We can understand the anguish that Aang feels, because we lose our main point of reference at the same time he does. Monk Gyatso's death also has a tiny bit more impact and feels more like, say, Obi-wan's death. While I think his death-reveal was a bit more emotional in the original, that's because the acting and music and directing was better. If those elements stayed the same, then I think his death would likely be even more emotional than the original (I will touch on this more later). He is our starting point not just for Aang, but for the viewer as well. He feels like our mentor rather than "Aang's old teacher." He is not a past-tense or flashback, but a present tense character who is killed off.
This all puts us into Aang's shoes a bit better, and we experience the loss alongside him. It feels less like seeing a loved one grieve and hearing about the one's they lost secondhand, and more like grieving with them. But that's not the only thing we experience alongside Aang, or the big value of starting before the timeskip.
Remember how I brought up plot-twists? Well, this is the other interesting advantage of starting with the beginning of the war and the Air Nomads. First, we have already experienced the loss and tragedy of the Air Nomad genocide. While Aang doesn't know about it until a bit later, we are still essentially grieving the loss alongside him.
But not only did we not expect the Air Nomads to all get killed off, we definitely did not expect a 100 year timeskip. And the best part (which I was hoping they would do as soon as I realized they were starting with the Air Nomads) is that they don't actually tell us until they tell Aang. We get a period of time where we don't realize that that much time has passed. We are likely expecting it to take place soon after the Air Nomad genocide, and that it will be a recent event. At most, it could be a couple of years or so. Maybe even just a year. They've been at war, but not for that long.
We can even assume for a bit that maybe this small village is just so remote that they've never met other benders before, or at least airbenders. Maybe they heard about the genocide, and didn't expect there to be survivors, but it would still be relatively recent. We think that they are in the same period as us, and maybe not the same exact situation, but generally a similar international one. We expect Aang to still be in his time. The framing is actually perfect for this. Sure, there will be a few moments that will feel...off...but everything can be excused.
So when they reveal that actually, this is a 100 year timeskip, it is worldshaking. Imagine that in most other shows. A character gets knocked out and is found in a new location by a few other characters, and things seem mostly normal. But then they throw us and the character a curveball by revealing that they've been missing/unconscious for 100 years and everything has completely changed. That's absolutely wack.
I will admit, based on how things were set up, I was a little disappointed with the payoff of the "plot-twist". The most interesting part of starting at the beginning of the war before the genocide is that the 100 year timeskip becomes much more shocking. We are mainly seeing things from Aang's perspective, so the shock of this revelation should be just as impactful for us as it is for him.
But it doesn't feel like a big enough moment. It feels a little rushed over. I think this is due to the same problems as Monk Gyatso's death. The music/sound design, direction, and acting aren't as good and don't have the same punch to them, thus taking away the impact of what should be a powerful moment. I think it was an interesting idea, but the payoff kinda defeated the point.
~~~~~
While going to the air temple makes sense in terms of character logic, I feel like the story-structure automatically took away the impact of Aang discovering Gyatso's body. Yes, as I've been saying, I kinda like them starting with the Air Nomads and then showing the genocide, but since they changed the story structure and emotional beats, it changes what scenes are and aren't necessary.
The episode "The Southern Air Temple" is very specific in how it tells its story, and the buildup to discovering Gyatso's body really only fits with the original episode. I think that maybe this could have worked if Aang coming back to the Air Temple was its own episode like in the original show and it took place a few episodes after episode 1. Like, we've already been on one or two adventures with Aang, Katara, and Sokka, and while they aren't besties yet, they are still beginning to establish a bond. We also see Aang still being at least slightly hopeful about there still being other airbenders around, which could be pretty sad since we already know that they're gone and it hasn't hit him yet.
Then, there is an episode where he is wandering around the Air Temple like in the original, and there is an intense tension throughout the episode as he gets closer and closer to Gyatso's body. We know Gyatso's dead, but Aang doesn't. We know that him seeing Gyatso's body is inevitable, but there is still a lot of tension in waiting for the inevitable. So it could be a really heartbreaking episode, because we know exactly what's going to happen, but we can't stop it.
So when he finally discovers Gyatso's body, it's like a gutpunch. And that's when the OG scene plays. The fact that it's a few episodes later also adds an impact to Katara's line about her and Sokka being Aang's new family. We experienced the loss of Aang's old family, and then we realize that the water tribe siblings have become Aang's new family. It makes it more heartwarming. Yes, Aang has lost, but he has also found.
~~~~~
I will admit, despite the controversy, Sokka's actor is pretty good. Maybe that's just because the movie lowered my expectations by a lot, but he was the most entertaining character. I laughed at a few of his jokes, and he was fun.
I do see people's problems with the sexism being taken away. The first episode works well enough without the sexism, and introduces a new, pretty interesting arc for Sokka (being a teenager expected to lead when he's not ready. That was slightly the case in the OG, but it more focused on other elements of this) which slightly parallel's Aang's arc of responsibility and putting expectations on kids/teens that they shouldn't have to handle. But Sokka's sexism arc was already pretty interesting and unique, and his toxic masculinity made his arc very intriguing. His character was very fun to look at through that lens, and slightly played into the idea of expectations.
I'm also unsure how this will work for the rest of the series. I mean, Kyoshi Island. What will they do with that? Legitimately. What is there to do? That was half the point of that episode, and it was awesome.
~~~~~
People were right when they said the special effects looked great, way cooler and cleaner than the movie. The opening scene with the earthbender is a great example of how to adapt bending into a live action form that captures the spirit of bending and does it service. It feels just as grand as in the original show. While I know the the bending moves in the OG were based on real martial arts, it can be hard to recognize just how natural the movements looked in relation to bending when watching a cartoon. But the live action bending made me realize and appreciate the way the elements actually flowed with the movements. They didn't felt random, they felt like there was legitimate physics to it.
I still have one problem with the airbending, though. I know Aang is the Avatar and a prodigy, but he was basically flying at multiple points, specifically when he was first introduced. I feel like he should only be able to do stuff like that with either his glider or when he's in the Avatar state. I was really getting into the episode and was slightly enjoying his introduction, but then he started floating down way too slowly without anything to fully support him (like a glider or even parachute), and it immediately broke my immersion and suspension of disbelief.
Despite being a show about people with either hyperspecific telekinesis or pyrokinesis, as I mentioned above, ATLA feels surprisingly realistic and grounded in its magic system, and bending feels natural with a physics of its own. I don't actually have to suspend my disbelief too hard, because though it can't happen in the real world, it doesn't feel unbelievable. Aang gliding around without a glider or other device to help carry him? Far less believable. Also, where's the airscooter? That made more sense for Aang and felt a lot less weird, and was more in-character. It's also very fun to watch and I'd look to see him do it. Give us back the airscooter.
So bending in the show still has a few minor flaws, and we're only on Episode 1.
~~~~~
Now, obviously, I do have some criticisms. I just like to get the positives out of the way first (though even then, I did mention a few negatives). The main problem that immediately stood out to me (and even my ever optimistic mom) is that the acting felt really stiff most of the time. That was one of the major problems with some of the emotional scenes I mentioned, like Aang finding out how long he'd been in the iceberg, or him discovering Monk Gyatso's body. I think everyone has probably already mentioned it, but I still felt the need to mention it. I respect the actors and feel bad saying this, but the acting lowkey ruined a lot of the first episode for me.
Like, do these characters feel anything ever? I get subtly in acting, but for characters like Aang, he often wears his heart on his sleeve and is very expressive. I actually wouldn't mind at least a little bit of exaggeration, at least for Aang. And while I said Sokka was okay, he could be a little bit better, and like Aang, he could be a little more exaggerated. Like when he's frustrated or annoyed (or most anything really), he seems like the type to have big, physical reactions. He talks with his hands and does things like throwing them up in the air in exasperation. He lets out big groans as he slouches and throws his head back. He's a silly guy, even when he is trying to act tough and serious. Basically get the most naturally funny guy you know and cast him as Sokka.
Katara, like in the movie, basically felt like she wasn't even there, or was standing around all the time. At this point, it feels like nobody will be able to capture the essence of the OG Katara, or they don't know how to. I saw a post recently that mentioned that Katara is actually a pretty angry person sometimes, and while she is very sweet and caring, she is a 14 y/o girl who is prone to outbursts and moments of pettiness. I actually like her best when she is yelling at people and getting annoyed and emotional. She is very flawed and more than just the motherly caretaker.
It feels like they need to add more emotional Katara, and not just the kind who cries. A Katara who is still a teen girl at the end of the day and has childish behaviors like the others. She will have moments of emotional immaturity. She will get overeager and impulsive (like when she stole the water scroll). She will be playful and silly. She will be angry and protective in a way that makes her reckless. She will make poor decisions. She will become strong and badass. She is so many things.
And yet, it feels like she is never given the spotlight, attention, and variety she deserves in these adaptations. Sorry for rambling about Katara, I just have so many Thoughts™ on her.
~~~~~
I don't have too much else to say, but there is one moment that unintentionally made me giggle, and I need to mention it. In the final few minutes of the episode (possible part of the final shot or something), Zuko runs over to his desk and starts furiously painting something on a piece of paper. He pins it to the wall in front of him, and it is a very shitty ink painting of Aang. And I find it so funny for some reason? I think it was because he was painting with such passion and intensity like it was the most important thing in the world, only for it to be contrasted by a poorly drawn scribble.
~~~~~
Anyways, that's all I have in my brain rn (or at least all that I care about enough to say anything about). These were just random, slightly disconnected ramblings rather than a properly written review, but I hope you related to them anyways or at least think they are interesting.

Review of Season 1 of My adventures with Superman:
I just got done watching the season finale of "My Adventures with Superman." I really under-estimated this show when I saw the first teasers for it. I thought it would be a version of Superman for little kids. And though I think children can watch it, there is some very mature writing in this, the kind I haven't seen since Disney's Gargoyles. It's wholesome, well-written, and most importantly it FEELS like Superman. It's not the cynical deconstruction that Zack Snyder did with man of steel. This is the traditional boy scout version of superman, the sort of hero I'd missed. The art style resembles a Japanese anime but this show is actually American made. The movements of the characters are very fluid. There's a beauty to this animation. Superman's movements in flight are realistic and fluid. He appears like he's swimming. Some of the antagonists have changed origins and are redesigned but these don't detract from it at all. I love what they did with Jimmy Olsen, especially the nonchalant little twist they gave to his character at the end of the season finale. This is probably my favorite depiction of Jimmy Olsen in any Superman incarnation. I was relieved that the show allowed Lois (and Jimmy) to learn Clark's secret identity pretty early on (Jimmy actually figured it out first). It wasn't drawn out. I think everyone was tired of Lois not knowing Clark's secret decades ago. There is on-going story progression. And it's so wholesome, so hopeful and warm, it's strangely comforting. I hadn't seen a superhero show like this in a long time. Though I liked the mid-90s Superman animated series, this has fast become my favorite version of Superman. Neil Gaiman was right when he had said (over in Twitter when it was still Twitter) that Superman doesn't need to be changed for "modern audiences." You just need to let superman be superman in a modern setting. And that's what this show did and it works. No one is bored with the classic Superman when he is done right.
I'm not even that big of a fan of Superman (in general). But I an genuinely loving this show. It's so good.
I am not sure why Cartoon Network shows it during Adult Swim (It's adult content evening timeslot). It FEELS like a well-made version of Superman. And it's not overly mature with themes too intense for children. No, far from it. This is a GOOD version of Superman. It keeps you on your toes. The main characters like Clark, Lois, Ma and Pa Kent are all true to the cultural collective idea of who they are and yet the show is different enough that old school fans of Superman won't get bored. It'll keep you on your toes because it deviates just enough. Also people who aren't old school fans of superman should be able to follow it just fine. This cartoon was surprisingly good. And it deserves more attention. I dare say that this version of Superman has the potential to become as iconic as the 90s Batman the animated series.

I Understand Goodbye Volcano High Now: A Short, Positive Review (Rambling)
Tumblr media
When I first learned about this game, it was while watching a Dumbsville video on Life Is Strange 3, another game I enjoy. I have a peculiar interest in watching critiques of things I like. After watching his review, I found the concept and ending of this game to be humorously flawed. Intrigued, I decided to experience it firsthand. However, after only ten minutes, I found myself losing interest. I shared my thoughts on Discord, stating, and I quote:
“So I heard about this game called Goodbye Volcano High, and I opened a playthrough on YouTube to watch, got 10 minutes in and got bored. Read a review of it, and apparently it’s a story about a group of friends, emotional drama, blah blah blah, high school shit. And the ending, no matter your choices? THEY GET WIPED OUT BY AN ASTEROID. DID I MENTION ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE DINOSAURS. Oh that’s hilarious. I could get some ironic enjoyment if the dialogue didn’t feel so… stiff to listen to. I love it. Edit: Ok basically I’m 50/50 on this being either the best game or worst game ever. Imagine sitting through hours of choices about relationships and dynamics and then they get hit by a fucking asteroid. Edit: never mind this game is peak.”
So how did I change my mind only 40 minutes in? Let’s go on the journey. Who knows? Maybe YOU will change your mind.
Please note: I haven't personally played the game yet. I typically prefer to watch a playthrough before diving in, particularly for narrative-driven games like Life Is Strange or The Quarry. While it may seem unconventional, this approach allows me to provide insights on the story rather than technical aspects.
In fact, I will share the notes I took while watching.
At the 40-minute mark, I found the game to be peak during the tarot reading. The presence of foreshadowing indicated that the game had a deeper message to convey. I will admit though, the designs took some getting used to, the forward-facing Fang was a bit overwhelming. Perhaps the art team could have toned down the dinosaur features while maintaining their overall essence. It felt somewhat uncanny, (although I must admit it grew on me by the end.)
I appreciate the little moments in this game, like how Fang's small mishap with the MIDI controller caused a strong reaction. Pal, there’s a thing called “handle the situation with a thorough and careful cleaning rather than a light rub.” I love them, my little over dramatic iconic blorbo.
Massive kudos and praise to the talented artist responsible for the captivating visuals in this game. You’re a champ. Now, for the animation itself. Personally, I believe that animation is an incredibly challenging field, so I refrain from criticizing animators. The exceptional artwork compensates for any perceived shortcomings in animation, in my opinion. While the dinosaur aesthetic may not be my personal preference, I admire the creativity behind it. And you know, a criticism…
I often come across, is the criticism that Naomi's crush on Fang wasn't evident. However, personally, I believe there are several instances of foreshadowing that hint at their connection. Even if I were unaware of the plot twist, I might have still guessed it. It is amusing, though, that Fang is comfortable conversing with an unknown number.
Anyway, why do I cough and get wheezy when I eat?
Why are all the songs in this game so goood? They cut off suddenly sometimes, but still. Are they on Spotify? I’d love to listen to these. Honestly, I feel this games predictions isn’t too far off. If a meteor were to attack us, we would act non-chalant. Make memes. Older people wouldn’t care or comfort their younger kids. Everyone would pretend it’s okay.
While it may be, and probably just is coincidental, the presence of an intersex flag pattern on Trish's shirt in the F&F game has led me to a new headcanon about Trish. <3 Look, I just think it’s worth noting that intersex individuals often lack representation beyond being included as an "I" in acronyms. So even if it’s probably coincidence, I like it.
So it looks like this is the big reveal, with Naomi making the same dress the mysterious number showed Fang. And it seems like Reed is really down about the comet situation, and now it's all coming to a head. But the thing is, what can they even do? It's like no one wants to take action or even acknowledge it. I'm not an optimist, but there has to be something we as a species could do if an asteroid was heading towards Earth.
The tarot earlier was forgotten about, which is a shame, because I thought it was going to be explained. I forgot what it was so I can’t even google it. But yeah “death” isn’t good.
Perhaps I'm biased towards Fang, but saying "fuck off" doesn’t really sound that severe when Naomi was kinda being a bit of a dick. While Naomi had a valid point, she also seemed dismissive of others' aspirations. Personally, I might have responded more harshly in that situation, which is why I struggle with friendships haha… Additionally, I didn't fully agree with Trisha placing all the blame on Fang for not understanding her feelings. Fang can't read minds, but it's a complicated situation given their denial. But still- unlike Trisha, Naomi’s outburst seems… sudden? Less justifiable? Maybe I wasn’t reading in between the lines enough. At least everyone made up in the end. Coolio.
Wow, that ending. My interpretation is as follows. It’s better to be together than alone in times of hardship. Life is fleeting, and we could lose it any-day. We need to live for the moment, not for the future. We need to live our dreams, not just wait for them to happen. When destiny fucks you, you fuck it harder, essential.
Tumblr media
Overall, a sincere 5/5 game. The problems are so little for me, and I say that as someone who criticises EVERYTHING. My only complaints is that MY ship wasn’t validated /j. Nah, I have very few.
Pry my ship from my cold dead hands, essentially.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ranking:
Story: 4/5
Art: 5/5
Game Mechanics: Again, I only watched a walkthrough, so I can’t comment on that.
Pacing: 3/5.
Overall: 5/5.
I don’t normally do reviews. But well, this was an exception. I did use an AI to make my points more professional sounding, but most of what I wrote was from the heart, raw.
Why do people hate this game? It’s what I call the High Guardian Spice Effect. People get a bad first impression, so judge the final product too harshly. Granted, I think HGS isn’t as good as GVH, tbh. I thought HGS was okay. Good, even. Not great, flawed in many ways. But it was pretty average. But GVH? I think it’s a worse case. While HGS had a questionable trailer, GVH didn’t really have many red flags. People just didn’t like that it had anthropomorphic gay people in it, so judged it because of that.
I went in thinking I would hate this, but I loved it. I can’t wait to see what KO-OP has in store for the future.
Because I only watched a playthrough and haven’t played it for myself, I don’t know how much different dialogue options affect the story. I guess I’ll have to see for myself, one day. For now? I’m going to give my recommend/don’t recommend status. If you like story driven games, small interactions, slow-pacing (too slow for some, which I understand) and want a surprisingly wholesome apocalypse story? Check it out. If not? Understandable. Not every game is for everyone, and no game is without flaw. Even though I enjoyed GVH, I don’t regret watching that review I did. Didn’t I tell you? I love watching media I like getting criticised. It gives me a lot to think about. But I just think the story works for me. And while the story may have a “sad ending,” it’s the journey that matters. Can’t that be said for life itself? The meteor may have hit, but it’s everything in between that matters.
Although, yes, portraying it like your choices impact the ending may have not been the best decision. Then again, “nothing you do matters” is probably a bit hard to sell. Anyway, that’s all I have to say. I’m gonna go do my Duolingo lesson (2099 streak baby) Feel free to tell me I’m wrong though. Or right. I guess.

Now that I've the energy to ask -- what are the Foretellers like, in your own stories? Are you doing anything particular with them, or are they just there? (This is hallowed-nebulae's main, hello hello, you've got me thinking Thoughts now)
(Hello! Haha, I see I'm feeding the brainworms.)
The Foretellers! I haven't really focused a lot on them in my stuff, but I do have thoughts on them. Most of them are Dandelion Seeds-specific, since...well, that's the only fic that takes place in that time period, haha!
Basically: all of the Foretellers were kids who showed strong magical aptitude and were taken away by the Master of Masters at a young age. They came from several different backgrounds, but the general theme was:
They needed to have an unusually strong light (for obvious reasons).
They needed to be children that were young enough to be pretty impressionable. (For the same reason kids were recruited as Keyblade wielders: it's easier for MoM to manipulate them if he starts at a young age.)
They needed to be kids that weren't entrenched enough in their communities to be missed. (And so that MoM could better build up legends surrounding them; essentially, he wanted to create this sort of...mystique and grandeur around the Foretellers to encourage people to send their kids to Daybreak Town, and that's easier to do if you can't remember that the legendary figure you're following also broke their ankle because they were convinced they could fly with cardboard wings.)
Ava's the one who got the most focus in Dandelion Seeds, because she was Brain's childhood friend; their community was pretty small, with Brain and her mom being the people who cared about her the most, so there weren't too many people who would be able to comment when she became a Foreteller. As for the others:
Ira was the closest to actually like...breaking MoM's rules for recruitment. He was a little bit older and pretty studious; he wasn't from a large community, but most people still figured he'd try to travel to a school in a larger city one day, it was just going to be hard because...you know, it's expensive. Ira just so happened to be completely enamored with the idea of learning magic, and MoM leveraged the fact that he could give Ira a life he might not have had otherwise (plus Ira's enthusiasm) to convince Ira's parents to send their son with him.
Aced came from an abusive home situation. His parents didn't miss him when he disappeared, but Aced was like...five when he was taken away, and didn't understand quite yet why he had to leave. It took years before he finally started to recognize that his early childhood situation was bad (which gradually started to seep into a distrust of authority figures in general. Which, given what happens with MoM--valid.).
Gula was an orphan. MoM found him on the streets and took him in. He's a little cagey about how long he'd been on his own, though he'll sometimes talk fondly about vague memories he has of his parent.
Invi actually found MoM. She's never told anyone where she came from or if she has any family left. She just...said she heard that MoM was looking for people to train as mages, and she wanted to be one.
Luxu's the only one MoM's raised since he was a baby. He literally just stole a child. This is also, coincidentally, why Luxu seems to be MoM's favorite; the others are all tools, and while Luxu kind of is, too, he feels a little more like his child. (...In a weird, twisted way.)
UH, this is getting pretty long, haha, but basically MoM raised them in isolation for a while so that they could become stronger and he could kind of like...ingrain certain ideologies. After a few years he started sending them out on missions so that they could gain a presence and start building their 'legend,' so to speak. (That's part of why they have animal masks: MoM was both playing into local legends and trying to make the Foretellers feel less "human" and more "mythological.")
The Foretellers kind of ended up with a lot of messed up family dynamics and unhealthy coping mechanisms/thought processes due to the way they were raised. So while they seem like these legendary figures to outsiders, they're all just...kind of a mess. (GOOD JOB, MOM.)
Buuut that's the gist of it, haha; I'll cut myself off before this gets too much longer.

All I Want | Ch 2
Steddie Fic | Little_Annie | Ao3
If you haven't read Ch.1 yet, click here ⤵️
---
Over coffees and breakfasts and ballgames and tears, both Steve and Wayne tried to come up with something realistic. No grand gestures that in the end would just confuse or scare Eddie, but maybe dozens of small gestures here and there, hoping that every little thing would lead Eddie back into the love they once knew.
They didn't have much, a flimsy idea of a very general plan. The first goal being to gain Eddie's trust and well, that wasn't something that was going to be easy to do. A boy raised in a community of judgemental, bigoted, right wing Conservatives and Bible Thumpers; he'd learned to build walls rather fast. Barriers to protect himself from the stares, the slurs and the societal pressures.
Eddie's whole persona was constructed as an armour, a gruff exterior to scare off those who may try to mould him into a vision of their own. It'd worked. The Hair, the tattoos, the leather; people left him alone. Calling out slurs and slander from a far, too scared to be cursed or sacrificed to some unholy deity if they got too close.
Though, remarkably, that was something Steve Harrington had grown to see past. He remembers seeing Eddie in the halls, treating him like an absolute asshole until the day the world got turned upside down and he had a bit of a reality check. He never really did talk to Eddie after that, nothing more than short glances and bumping shoulders in the halls. He regretted the way he'd treated the man in the past, but at the time didn't have the gaul to say anything about it.
Maybe in those short glances and passes in the hallway he'd learnt something about himself, something that felt like a gravitational pull. Though it wasn't something he was willing to admit to himself at the time.
He'd graduated and left Hawkins High with nothing more than a flutter in his stomach at the memory of brown eyes. It was only a few weeks later that this whole thing with Eddie started.
His kids had heard about a senior recruiting D&D players for next year's Hellfire Club, an opportunity of a lifetime according to one Dustin Henderson. It hadn't taken much to guilt Steve into driving the gaggle of pubescent crotch goblins to this so-called meeting. A few sets of puppy dog eyes and a singular "Please Steve," and he was putty in their hands.
They arrived to the school with far too much fanfare, the kids happily chanting and screaming about D&D, though it was all nonsense to Steve. He thought he'd get off scot free and be able to just sit in the car and wait, but, well, when he saw the silhouettes of leather and chains and the glow of a cigarette in the distance, he figured it'd be best he supervised. At least for the first night. He couldn't just hand his kids over to some random, rowdy strangers.
But well, a stranger it was not. No. It was Eddie Munson. The same Eddie Munson Steve had found his mind wandering to late at night and in the dark recesses of his brain that he was finally allowing a small glimmer of light to shine.
He'd sat there and watched in awe at Munson's theatrics, all wild gestures and magnetic energy. A booming voice that made Steve's spine absolutely tingle and a glimmer in his eye that forced a wave of heat to engulf Steve's form at any moment it met his own.
They hadn't so much as shared a word, Steve sitting in the corner out of the way but absolutely entrapped as he couldn't pull his eyes any. Several times had he felt a twist in his gut when Eddie took the time to really look him over, a curious look in his eyes as they trailed from Steve's head to his toes. It made him flush, aggressively so. For a moment he'd thought he'd fallen ill, but well, as that light burned brighter in the dark spots of his mind, he began to realise what that feeling truly was.
It'd happened a few times; Steve taking the kids to Summer Hellfire Oneshots, sitting in the corner observing all things Eddie Munson. Until one night the chair he'd claimed as his own, dubbed the Babysitters throne by a Junior named Gareth, was pulled from its usual spot in the corner and was instead seated rather close to the handmade masterpiece Eddie called his own. His stomach had done a treacherous somersault and he felt his face flush at the proximity to the other man when he was finally seated, nearly thigh to thigh, legs brushing as Munson moved animatedly.
Cigarettes, leather and something sweet like candy swarmed the air around him the entire time, a smell he'd later associate with the love of his life. A smell so distinctive, Steve couldn't even begin to manage to recreate it on his own during the recent nights when he missed Eddie so.
And that's kind of when it all really started. Those brushing thighs turned into whispered words and faint giggles, a cackle Steve would let out one night only to be scolded by Dustin but to feel the grip of Eddie's hand on his thigh. Granted it was accompanied by a worried glance and a brow raised in question, but all Steve could manage in response was a blush and a gentle nod, leaning into Eddie's touch as it remained under the table. Weeks later sliding his fingers to lace between Eddie's own and remain that way for every Hellfire session Steve attended afterwards.
They'd eventually share the smoke of a skunky haze, holled up in the Munson trailer, revealing their childhood traumas only to fall into each other's arms and never really leave.
They kept things quiet, discreet. Steve was hardly out to himself, let alone to the public and he wasn't about to share that with anyone who didn't really need to know. Who he slept with, who he loved, it wasn't anyone's business but his own and well, Eddie's of course.
They held hands beneath the table of Hellfire meetings, kissed in the shadows of local parties, and ran away for weekends to the city where they could be themselves and not have to worry about prying eyes.
It was just them, a little slice of happiness they saved for themselves.
Eventually Wayne found out. At first it'd sent Steve spiralling, thinking Wayne was going to beat the two of them half to death or send Eddie off to a conversion camp, but, when in reality, Wayne huffed a laugh, told them no fucking on the couch and slapped Eddie on the back grumbling something about 'finally locking down the Harrington boy,' and that was it.
Eddie had reassured Steve, Wayne was a good guy and if anything, 'might be a little fruity himself.' Quickly Steve grew to love the man. A father figure he'd never truly had, suddenly at his side. Someone to watch ball games with or gossip about the latest NBA trade. Someone to teach him things his own father never bothered to.
It was Christmas Eve in the Munson trailer when he and Eddie whispered the words 'I love you' for the first time, both revealing that they'd felt it for a long while before but were too scared to say it aloud. It was Christmas Day when Wayne tugged him into a hug and told him the words he'd never heard from his own father, words similar to those he'd heard from Eddie the night before.
Everything they shared was nothing short of beautiful. Their love raged like a fire and burned just as fast and beautiful and hot. Unfortunately for Wayne he'd come home too many times to the boys doing the one thing he explicitly had asked them not to, shielding his eyes and slamming the trailer door shut to yell back, 'Come on Ed! I sleep on that fuckin' thing!"
Needless to say, after Wayne threatened to castrate the two of them if it were to happen again, Eddie moved into the Harrington house.
They settled in easily, the majority of Eddie's things remained at the trailer, bringing only a handful of books, clothes and hobby supplies along with himself. They shared space and sweat in the confines of the once depressingly empty structure. A structure Steve never really considered a home until Eddie Munson stepped foot inside it.
Steve's parents returned maybe a handful of times, a plan already set in place; Eddie was never graced with the misfortune of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Harrington. Though one time it was dangerously close, the pair being in the shower together when they heard the front door shut. Eddie had snuck out the bathroom window and ran across the shingles to slip into Steve's room, dawning only a towel in the late January breeze.
And no, that wasn't the plan, but one thing Steve loved about Eddie was his uncanny ability to think on his toes, no matter the situation. He supposes that's what makes the man such a great DM.
Hiding their relationship was only difficult when the Upside Down came knocking on the door to Hawkins once again.
Chrissy Cunningham had died and Eddie was on the run, Steve wasn't even aware of the situation until Dustin came barreling into family video like a curly haired tornado.
When Eddie had brought the glass bottle to Steve's neck he could see the fear in his lover's eyes, up until the moment recognition dawned on him and he realised it was Steve he was about to maim.
Through all of it, they were so careful. Sharing glances and touches, holding hands beneath blankets and under tables. Often it was Steve who offered to stay behind and keep watch over Eddie, holding the man close to his chest and letting him sob until his tears ran dry. Steve wanted nothing more than to up and leave and take Eddie as far away form the hell they were tapped in, but it wasn't that easy.
They had to kill Vecna and finish things off for real this time.
Though he'd never imagine it was his plan that'd end up getting his boyfriend nearly killed.
He remembers it like it was yesterday. A flashing, fleeting thing that haunts his memories and every ounce of his dreams. The warmth of Eddie's blood on his hands as adrenaline pumped aggressively though his own body,  helping him to surge through the gate with cracked bones and scathed skin, a grown man falling limp in his arms.
They'd just passed through the gate, the party running rampant through the trailer gathering medical supplies and trying to form a plan, but in that moment all Steve could hear was the beating of his own heart and static flooding his ears. He sat kneeling on the floor, tears running streaks through the soot that'd clung to his cheeks, holding Eddie's limp body close to his as he felt the man run cold.
He remembers the last breath Eddie took, shuddered, raspy, a gasp against his neck as the man whispered his last 'I love you."
It was from there that Steve was sure he'd lost Eddie, everything from then on was a blur, blacked out, moving on auto pilot. The next thing he remembers was waking up on a hospital bed, bright lights and beeping machines, Robin sitting at his bedside. He didn't even think twice before he shot up in bed, pain ricocheting through his abdomen, asking where Eddie was, if he was okay and if he was at the hospital.
Robin had looked at him sad, confused and grabbed his hand to squeeze and say calm, sombre, "He's stable."
The relief that Eddie was alive racked a rather aggressive sob from Steve's chest, verging on hysterics almost immediately. Robin paid it no mind, probably attributing it all to Steve carrying the man's body through the literal gates of hell. She'd stayed there with him for as long as she could and when visiting hours ended and she was forced to find solace elsewhere, that's when Steve went to find Eddie.
He heaved and gasped with every step, the tears in his skin and muscle aching with every movement now that the adrenaline had worn off. There was an IV cart he pulled along with him, a squeaky wheel and a bag of clear liquid sloshing around as it ran into his veins.
He'd found Eddie eventually, peeking into nearly twelve separate rooms until he found the man.
Bruised skin, bandage wrapped flesh, bleeding wounds and he was still the most beautiful thing Steve had ever seen. Though, it hurt like hell to look at him. Steve couldn't shake the thought that he brought Eddie into this. Maybe if they wouldn't have gotten together, maybe Eddie would've up and left, said so long to his high school career and got out of dodge, maybe at the very least Chrissy wouldn't have been at the trailer that night.
Christ, if Steve had made plans with Eddie that afternoon and he hadn't planned to meet Chrissy to sell, he wouldn't be in this situation. He wouldn't have been hooked up to tubes and monitors and cuffed to a fucking hospital bed.
Steve and the squeaky wheel of his IV cart found a home next to Eddie's bed for the night, hunched over the man, holding his bruised and bandaged hand in his own. He cried himself to sleep that night, silent tears staining his cheeks and the bandage that covered Eddie's hand. Come morning hospital staff had moved him back to his room, only to repeat the process for the following days.
When Steve had been released he managed to find Wayne and tell him everything, NDAs be damned. It wasn't more than a few days later that Hopper returned from the dead and managed to clear Eddie's name in a matter of days.
The following weeks Steve and Wayne spent the majority of their time bedside to Eddie and well, you know the rest.
-
But now, Steve sits heartbroken and lonely in a house that for a few short months truly felt like a home. He's wearing one of Eddie's shirts, the man's acoustic guitar at his side while he mindlessly picks at the strings, sitting on his bed. It was a gift, something special he'd given Eddie for their six month anniversary, something that stayed in their home and took part in their daily lives.
Nearly every day they'd spent together he can recall Eddie at sometime plucking along to the tune of 'you are my sunshine.' A remarkably out of character song, but something he swore was special just for Steve. Many times had the man been in nothing but his underwear, sometimes nothing at all, strutting around Steve, peppering him with kisses and singing the melody.
He huffed a laugh at the memory, a silent stream of tears following. He put the guitar away.
It was then that Steve laid there to ponder his plan, laying back, staring at the ceiling, fingers fiddling with the home cut hem of his shirt. The only thing he knew, the only thing he and Wayne had agreed on so far was step one would have to be to gain Eddie's trust again. Though they knew that wouldn't be an easy feat.
The main problem being that Steve would have to find a way into the man's life without seeming half nuts. Find a way for their meeting to seem natural, not something forced, not something scripted and planned out to a T.
He had ideas, believe it or not. Steve Harrington isn't the ditz people make him out to be, he's smart, in his own way. Especially when it comes to the real world and that that once lived below its surface. Maybe he needed to take his time to think things through a little longer, but that's nothing.
Later that evening, sitting on his bed, a plate of half eaten pizza bites next to him, one of Eddie's D&D miniatures in his hand, Steve had an idea. It wasn't much but it was something and without much thought he scrambled for pants and ran to his car, ripping out of the driveway and soon coming to a screeching halt in front of the Munson's recently repaired trailer.
It was dark out, evening had turned to night by the time he made it across town and thank God he'd seen Wayne's truck as he came skidding into the stop, hardly throwing the car into park before he was tripping over his feet, stumbling to the door. "Wayne!" He knocked on the thin glass, all but shouting waiting for the older man to answer.
With an irritated grumble, rubbing sleep from his eyes, Wayne opened the door, "Christ kid, I'm working the graveyard tonight, what is it?"
Out of breath from excitement alone, Steve huffed, "I know what to do, I know how to get Eddie back."
With that the two men found themselves seated in the living room of the trailer, Steve spinning out his quite simple plan of how to re-inject himself into Eddie's life. Really it was quite simple, give the man his space, once he's back at school or at least back home, Steve would find somewhere casual to bump into him. Somewhere like the grocery store or maybe the comic store, bring up D&D and how the kids he babysits have been wanting to play. If Eddie took the bait, like Steve knows he will, Eddie would shortly be hosting campaigns for The Party, maybe even if he's lucky in the Harrington basement.
After re-injecting himself into Eddie's life, he'd have to maintain that and somehow show Eddie that he's not the Steve Harrington he remembers from the past. The Steve Harrington Eddie remembers was an asshole and deserved the rejection Steve had received at the hospital.
Well and then there's that, that might be a weird bump to get over and explain. How would he explain that? It's not like, in Eddie's mind, it was normal for Steve to be sitting anywhere near him, let alone kiss him.

Can I ask for some mp100 fic rec in this trying time
Sure!!! I've needed an excuse to close some of these tabs anyways. Took a while to compile all of them, sorry, but here ya go ^^
------
• A Breach of Trust
This is a world in which Mob and Reigen’s paths have never crossed, in which 10-year-old Mob found psychic guidance in the form of the aging, retired tv personality Keiji Mogami, in which Reigen followed through on his plans to close the Spirits and Such Agency, in which a cruel twist of Mob’s powers forces him to confront how dangerous he really is.
10 year old Shigeo Kageyama has vanished, his trail instantly cold, and his case gathers dust in police archives as a kidnapping never solved. Four years pass before a chain of events causes his path to cross with that of the despondent, unfulfilled fake-psychic-turned-fake-investigator, Arataka Reigen. Reigen finds himself in over his head caring for an escaped victim of abuse who, for reasons unfathomable, has been taught to believe his very existence is a horrifically dangerous thing…
I'm sorry, I can't not include this one. It's like a whole different version of mp100 to me,,, just the way that the author explores and develops these characters, describes feelings, builds suspense and weaves everything together is incredible. If you haven't read it yet and are okay with dark and stressful topics, check it out!! Long and still ongoing u_u
• The Trolley Problem
In the aftermath of the Seasoning City Incident, tensions are high, and the future is uncertain.
As civil unrest grows and the question of what to do about Shigeo Kageyama is presented within the government, Mob simply tries to live life as normal.
However, things are rarely 'normal' for a kid with the power to rip the planet in two.
(Whether or not Shigeo presents a threat to the world at large remains unknown, but he's trying his best.)
A fic series that I haven't completely finished, but it's very, very good. My favorite depiction of Mob's handling of emotions post canon, hands down. I appreciate the way it's not so much that his issues are solved now, and more that he just has gained new ones to deal with. Feels very realistic that way. Love it <3
• a Nature so Foul
Mogami tries to prove a point.
He ends up awakening an eldritch terror.
God,,, god, this one... existential horror my beloved. The writing style and prose for this fic series is just, terrific. And the way it just handles this alternative to the mogami arc; the conflict between Mob and ???%... the emotions are described so well, it almost feels surreal in nature. A dark but amazing read ^^
• Signed Up For It
The spirit hauls itself out of the sink on knobby hands, clawing for purchase on smooth stainless steel. Black nails and stringy black hair, knotted like unspooled yarn and dripping with black viscera. It plops onto the tiled floor with the second worst sound Reigen’s heard today and gropes at Shigeo’s shoelaces.
“Oh, hello,” Shigeo says, looking down. “Do you need something?
Reigen learns what he signed up for and chooses to stay.
Wahhhh,,, this one is like blankets and hot choco on a snowy day. I love it so much,,, such a sweet exploration of Shige and Reigen's relationship, as well as Shigeo's relationship to spirits, and his relationships in general. Just a very lovely oneshot <3
• Temporary Accommodations
Due to a matter of circumstance and some near-death escapades, Mob's body gets kidnapped.
...Without Mob himself in it.
(In which the great Reigen Arataka's body becomes a sort of temporary accommodation for Mob's soul, and Reigen quickly finds out he's not really built for this sort of thing.)
A body sharing fic between Reigen and Mob. Angsty and a fun read,, I really like the way it presents Mob's powers and emotions especially, and it's great for those who like Reigen suffering, too :)
• Lens
Just when Shigeo thinks he can forget and move on, reality comes back to remind him.
The heart keeps score.
(Or, the one where Shigeo's injuries from Mogami's twisted world become scars on his physical body, and the people who love him don't let him walk alone.)
One of my favorite post-mogami arc fics. Was so happy to see it get it's final chapter recently ^_^
• Filling in the Blanks
Months after the incident with Keiji Mogami, Mob still refuses to talk about what happened inside the evil spirit's mindscape - and Reigen realizes that trying to get his soft-spoken student to talk may be an entirely improper approach.
Another post-mogami fic :) I really like how this one gradually unravels the truth to the spirits and such crew, felt cathartic,, A oneshot!
• Kegare
According to some people, Shigeo Kageyama is a walking time-bomb. And said people decide to do something about it.
In which Mob is kidnapped, detained, and isolated “for the greater good”. Of course, his friends and family have something to say about that. Now if only they could get to him before he starts to unravel.
A whole lotta hurt, followed by a whole lotta comfort.
This one is,,,, whoooof. Definitely skip if you are triggered by stuff like body horror and hallucinations and self harm and abuse. Also skip if you dislike depictions of mentally ill people committing violence, because even though I think it's understandable in this case, it still might not be something you want to read about. I like the way that it is structured however, switching between present and past pov, that way the misery doesn't become too overwhelming, and I appreciate that the healing seems to be going down a very gradual path so far. Still ongoing! And very angsty, but good 👍
• the perfect son
When Ritsu was nine years old, the monster in his closet took a very distinct shape.
It no longer looked like the demons described in folktales or the spirits his brother can see. It wasn’t a yokai or something Ritsu accidentally spotted while his parents watched a horror movie.
No, the monster looked nearly identical to his older brother, but with wild hair and white, unblinking eyes.
Ohghh,, this one's such a neat exploration of ageswap!Ritsu. I love it a lot. The depiction of his fear towards Shigeo and psychic powers in general is very good. A oneshot!
• A Little Blood Never Bothered Anyone
Reigen gets an unusual assignment from a high school gang leader named Kurata Tome. His task? To exorcise the urban legend known as Bloody Mary.
Or
Mob is a ghost and Reigen accidentally adopts the first two of many kids.
An urban legends au! Love the character interactions in this one, especially between Reigen and Tome, and the way the worldbuilding is done seems very fascinating so far. Unfortunately not finished, but still a fun little read ;^^
• A Lullaby for Gods
Takenaka usually tries to avoid hospitals, but he makes an exception when one of the few people he calls a friend gets hit by a car.
A rare takemob fic!! This one's not shippy, really, just a nice hurt/comfort, and I love it for that. Very sweet,, and I think it depicts both of them well.
• Return. Continue.
After six months in Mogami's mind world that weren't even real anyway, Mob returns to his old life.
Everything is fine.
A fic series dealing with Mob, with Teru, and both of them together as a relationship!! Also not too explicitly shippy (though it definitely is written with terumob in mind), just a very, very interesting and nice exploration of both of their feelings and how they deal with issues. Really love the characterizaton in this one. Unfortunately not finished, but still a very worthwhile read <3
• Butterfly Effect
“Go, Mob, melt it!” screeches Reigen, and Mob extends his hand, already coated with the swirling blue discs of his aura. Only-
Only he can’t exorcise the spirit, because there isn’t one, and the boy is staring at him with wide blue eyes. His hand is glowing the same yellow as the basket.
(in which Teruki meets Mob much, much earlier.)
This one is very sweet. I love the way it portrays Mob and Teru's relationship, with their little stumbles and issues. Personally, I was particularly taken by Mob feeling insecure about boring people, the way it was presented here. It's such a little thing, but I so rarely see it in fics, even though it makes a lot of sense for him. Also a good read for fans of Reigen being a dad to Teru, lol. Finished ^^
• Through Hardships to the Stars
Shigeo and Ritsu have been on the run for most of their lives, and Claw has never failed to be right behind them. For as long as they can remember, running is all they've ever known. It's all they've ever done.
But then, they stumble into the life of Reigen Arataka, and maybe, just maybe, the time has finally come for them to stop running.
Been a long, long while since I've read this one, but I remember Really loving it, in all it's angst and comfort and Mob and Ritsu's dynamic, plus Reigen of course, so I'm definitely putting it here!! Unfinished, though. I think.
• And Then There Were Two
Snapshots of the Kageyama brothers' early childhood days as told by themselves and the people around them.
Also haven't read this one in forever, but it was such a sweet and amazing fic from what i remember. Hurray for the Kageyama parents actually getting spotlight!! Love the way their family was portrayed here,, anddd this one's finished <3
------
Okayyy, and that will be it for now. I might reblog and add on sometime in the future if I collect any more, but yeah! Hope any of this fits what you are looking for :)

rhea for the ask game!
First impression : ... so fun fact, I hated Rhea when I first played. I found her unsettling and I really didn't see what the fuck was going on with her character. So. Bad.
Impression now : BELOVED ! ... No but genuinely. Such a good character. Complex in all the best ways, and with a core of fractured and wounded kindness, someone who is steel and blood and warmth and broken and yet so ready to help. I adore her
Favorite moment : Her turning into her dragon form to protect Garreg Mach after giving her trust to Byleth. Just. Absolutely motherfucking legendary of a scene. It deserved to have more of an impact on the story as a whole
Idea for a story : (pushes away all their Rhea WIPs) ... okay, one I haven't started and I still kind of want to do is actually about Rhea & Gilbert, with her taking him in as a Knight of Seiros, but also taking him in with the recognition of this wound he bears inside - of her setting into the Cathedral one evening, hearing his prayer for a litany of names he has branded through fire in his mind, and wishing she could do the same, and knowing memories are a fickle thing
Unpopular opinion : uh that's she's my favourite character ? ... A little more seriously, I genuinely think her character deserved a bigger spotlight in the post-skip, and the writers absolutely messed up using her as a red herring and then simply not keep her relevant once the plot twist was revealed
Favorite relationship : it's a toss up between Seteth (older and yonger siblings with a weird but sometimes teasing relationship when they let themselves be themselves !!) and Cyril (that kid and her... yes a lot is filled with headcanons but GODS there's something SO good here)
Favorite headcanon : post-game, Rhea becomes a cryptid in Fodlan, traveling around with Cyril and Catherine and whoever wants to walk with her for a while, and healing and helping people as best as she can while she learns to be herself again
