how can you be a fan of mirko and hate bakugo tho??? they have basically the same personality.

And you know what, this is one of the few times where it's the MALE character that's hated while sharing the same traits as a FEMALE character.

I said this is the recent ask I just answered, but I really think it's because Miruko is a hot woman.

Don't get me wrong, I find her attractive, too.

But seriously though, let's be honest, with Miruko her personality doesn't matter when she's a rabbit woman with a cute face. I have made a post about it before so long ago, but Miruko has to be the most sexualized female character there is in BNHA.

I don't see a lot of people wanting to explore her more character wise as they do with Midnight. Who is a canon sexual character.

Like I bet you right now, go into the Miruko tag and you'll see more fanart pictures of her where her tits and butt are drawn way bigger than she naturally has before you see a headcanon post that doesn't touch on how she can screw the reader.

Back to Bakugou, I also feel like it's the case of popularity.

Miruko isn't that much of a popular character, she isn't. She's just getting the acknowledgement due to her showing up more in the manga and anime.

Before her appearance in season 4, I doubt anyone remembered or cared for her from the manga. (As a opposed to me who saw her in the manga and went, she's already became my fave. It was her lines that got me.)

And when she was animated, people were more antsy and racist to her English VA than to hate on Miruko as a character.

Bakugou, on the other hand, has been present since day one. And even then, he already got fans, grew in popularity. He has reigned #1 since, what, the second popularity poll?

So guess what?

He's easy to hate on.

With many fans, there's going to be many haters because "Oh, look, more people to bother". I feel like half of the time, his haters don't really be hating him. They just look for easy targets to bother because they're bored.

Like I don't see Mineta fans get bothered. Some I'm sure do, but at best they're ignored like Mineta himself who the fandom either hates or ignore exists.

Overhaul fans. Despite him experimenting on Eri since she was a toddler? Don't see them get bothered much. Why? Overhaul isn't that popular of a character.

People want to pull the "He is a bully" card as if Bakugou hasn't acknowledged that himself. Yeah. As much as people preach about kids being kids and they can learn, they sure do get antsy about a fictional one admitting he was a complete ass and has issues.

Something quite a bit of ADULTS in REAL LIFE won't even do.

So far, I have only blocked 1 person who was anti Miruko but so many anti Bakugou blogs.

Like even if I hated Bakugou, I'd probably still be blocking anti Bakugou posts just for the fact a lot of antis tend to be trolls. That's how annoyed I am.

What is Danganronpa about?

In this world there are elite high school students and there all people with Ultimate talents, they go to Hope's Peak Academy a school for people with ultimate talents. (being an ultimate at something means you are the best there is at that talent, lets say you are the ultimate cook you are fluent in cooking every meal that can exist) every year, scouts go find talented high school students who are at the top of their field, along with one "Ultimate Lucky Student" who is chosen by lottery. The three games, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony have similar premises. Sixteen talented students who stand out in different fields are trapped by a thing called Monokuma. Monokuma traps the cast into killing games. The cast is trapped in an establishment and the only way to return home is by killing another person and avoiding being found guilty during the class trials. (each game except ultra despair girls has sixteen students where ultra despair girls focuses on the first games protag's sister and a character from that game)

his constant worry of you caused him to develop feelings for you, because he’s always thinking about you

- This is the only anime on here that I hate 💀 Idk why, there was just something about it. I’m not a big fan of romance so the ending was...eh. The concept is interesting as hell tho honestly

14: Banana Fish: 6/10 for Ash breaking my heart

- I know this is such a beloved show, but I just. Cant. Like it’s good, I like it, I’m just not a big fan of— idk how to explain it. Street fighting style anime? I like superpowers basically LMAO

13: Dorohedoro: 4/10 for Lizard bitch

- This is just Banana Fish on drugs and paranormal also as far as I can tell nobody falls in love here. I’m still watching and I’m struggling to get really into it, but I’m giving it a chance. The intro is one of the best ones on this list tho

12: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: 6/10 for intros

- I made it halfway through Part 2 then I gave up because it’s so batshit, but that’s kinda why I love it even though it’s so low on here. It wins #1 for THE BEST opening songs and intros

11: Hunter x Hunter: 7/10 for having one of the best villains

- I watched this entire goddamn anime and it just did not stick with me. I skipped a lot of episodes in the Chimera Ant arc because it would be one fight dragged on for three eps, however I will say I absolutely bawled at the end of it.

10: Yuri On Ice: 6/10 for Jerry Jewell the Russian King of Funimation

- Good comfort anime I binge watch every few months, my main beef with it is how repetitive it is. There doesn’t seem to be a lot at stake besides their careers and obviously the romance. Maybe it’s just because I’ve seen it so many times that I’ve become numb to it

9: Devilman Crybaby: 7/10 for WHAT THE FUCKFJJG

- I watched this mf in one night and I have not been the same since. The ending is fucking insane and I adore it, but everything else leading up to that is kinda lame. The animation is kinda ugly too lol

8: Beastars: 8/10 for sexy deer

- Can’t believe I made fun of this furry anime only for it to be one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Amazing plot, I genuinely can’t wait for more seasons especially since the manga gets insane. Also— that INTRO IS AMAZING

7: Soul Eater: 5/10 because Kid is in it

- My first anime besides SAO 🙌 Very unique art style I love it, also lovable characters. My main thing with it is that honestly the stakes seem a little too much for a group of fucking 15 year olds to handle but whatever, that’s most shounen anime in general

6: Demon Slayer: 6/10 for Nezuko and the orange mf I know will be my favorite

- I’m still watching this and so far I really like it, it’s just slow as hell. I’m not entirely sure what the main goal is, but I’ve heard it gets really good. Looking forward to another season if we get it

5: Fairy Tail: 7/10 for power of friendship

- I’ve loved this anime since I was like 10 bruh. I know it’s repetitive with “the power of friendship” but that’s what I like about it— nothing beats good character dynamics. Also wins the award for Best Hetero Ships in existence

4: My Hero Academia: 9/10 for the characters being AAA

- Hands down one of the best cast of characters, there’s not a single one I hate (besides Mineta but that’s the point of his character). The main issue I have with it is right now in the anime it’s still a little...kiddy? Like there was a festival arc after a very emotionally intense arc LMAO. Anyways, I’m excited for it to get more gritty

3: The Disastrous Life of Saiki K: 10/10 for amazing characters and comedy

- I just like dumbass fucking satirical comedy, as you can probably tell. This show made me laugh out loud so many times. If I had to choose anything to like not like about it it would be the fact that near the end of s2 it got kinda 😳😰 out of NOWHERE

2: Hetalia: 0/10 I fucking hate this dumb country anime

- I don’t even wanna talk about it. Just repeat what I said about dumbass satirical comedy and add my love for history and you get the mold that’s been growing in my head for over a year

1: Attack On Titan: unable to be rated bc it’s so good

- Honestly this just speaks for itself. Never have I absolutely loved a story and it’s characters this much, and it’s so well written I don’t know how Isayama came up with it. The ending was genuinely amazing. I’ll be thinking about this dumbass thing for a while . Also: amazing intros

So, like, general disclaimer that I’m super aromantic and a side effect of that is I’m a massive multishipper who has distinct preferences but don’t mind most things at all. As long as everyone is friends I’m cool!

My NOTP for them: It might sound like a bit of a cop-out but any of the teachers. Mineta. Monoma not because I dislike him but because I think the energy that that specific couple would create would be Not Good.

My BROTP for them: Kaminari is part of The Single Braincell Squad with Kirishima and Bakugou and I think that is very sexy of him.

MY OTP for them: Shinkami. I love them. Bi/Ace solidarity at its finest.

My second choice pairing for them: Jirou. Two disaster bis who are usually more attracted to the same gender and are just as surprised as anyone else that they ended up with someone who isn’t. (tho I do hc Jirou as genderqueer, to be fair.)

My fluffy pairing for them: Probably Kirishima. That’s just a lot of wholesome. Tho I tend to prefer to broship them mostly bc Kiribaku is one of the few ships I have actual strong opinions about.

My angsty pairing for them: Look, shinkami has some quality angst potential okay. Angst with a happy ending.

My favorite poly ship for them: Shinkamijirou. Because sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too.

My weirdest pairing for them: I genuinely don’t know? When I’m writing ships they are usually either in the background or exist merely as vehicles for fluff or angst. I did see Iida/Kaminari somewhere at one point and I honestly think that one might be fun to poke at.

I have yet to address the Finals, and that’s because it enrages me.

Mostly, I didn’t like the match-ups. (Long nonsense ahead with me talking about possible match ups, not very concise)

Sato & Kiri vs Cementoss - good match up, but it seems like they were meant to fail. Them vs Power Loader would have been good too, or even vs Ectoplasm

Toko & Tsu vs Ectoplasm - good, and does help Toko with his close combat weakness. I think them vs Nezu would have been interesting, and would have shown off Tsu’s level headedness more. Them vs AM would have been interesting too, but maybe too much.

Iida & Ojiro vs Power Loader - ok, but honestly Iida’s lesson of ‘get help against a powerful opponent’ could have been agains any teacher. (All might would have been an excellent example!)

Momo & Todo vs Eraserhead - ok, I did like this one how it was, however I think B*kugou would have been better against aizawa than Momo. Mainly because b*ku is just as reliant on his quirk as Todo.

Uraraka & Ayoma vs 13 - it was... ok? It’s another match that I think would have been better with different people, maybe Mina or even Momo

Denki & Mina vs Nezu - I did not like this one. It was all played for jokes and honestly it seemed like another ‘set up to fail’ one. I would have loved to see Momo or Iida or even Izu against Nezu

Jiro & Kouda vs Mic - good, tho I do wonder how differently it would have played out in an urban setting. Shoji would have been interesting to see vs mic too.

Shoji & Hagakure vs Snipe - meh, ok, but I would have liked to see a ‘long range’ battle. Maybe Sero or Ayoma?

Mineta & Sero vs Midnight - ok, and it did show that Mineta can, at least, be heroic when it comes down to it, but I would have liked to see maybe Izu, Todo or Toko against her. (Strength doesn’t matter if she can KO you with a perfectly timed puff of gas, ya know?)

And *sigh*

Izu & B*akugou vs All Might - ...F*CK you B*kugou, does the term ‘teamwork’ not exist in your mind? (Probably not) like f*ck and the matchup itself was just nonsense Izu against literally any other teacher would have been better, and B*kubitch didn’t need an ‘unbeatable’ opponent he needed a ‘powerless against’ opponent (ie aizawa, Nezu), also, B*ku should have instantly failed when he attacked his damn teammate for no damn reason! There’s a reason my fav fic trope for the Finals is izu just thinking ‘f this’ and leaving B*ku’s ass there, because I really wish that was what he did. (Also there’s the bullshit double standard of Sero failing cos he was KO’d and had to be carried out, when the same thing happened to B*ku and he passed. Also the irony of if he HAD been failed like he probably should have, then he would have been with the ‘remedial’ class in camp and safe from the LoV)

The teachers taking turns driving

and them playing their own tunes on the aux cord

Mic just Rick Rolled everyone on that bus

Aizawa put on a podcast

All Might put on some calming music (he says it’s relaxing he just wants these kids to fucking sleep)

The kids chanting for McDonald’s

Aizawa orders a coffee

at one point he considers dropping them all of on the highway and driving away

but he can’t because paperwork (he’s become too attached)

Bakugou dropping Kirishima’s crocs down a cliff

it needed to be done

but bold of me to assume Kiri has only one pair of crocs

Koda’s hat blowing away and Sero helping him catch it

At one point the leave for the road and like 30 minutes later they notice one of the kids isn't there. They come back and the kid was stuck inside a bathroom and decided to just fall asleep on the floor

That kid would be Todoroki

Who didn't even try to fight his way out

Then Aizawa appears on Izuku's film saying that thing from Spider-Man: Homecoming

iida trying to take photos of the scenery but someone always photobombs by doing weird poses

hes just given up

everyone singing random songs together on the bus

it all started will little eintstiens

at one point they lose Aizawa's sleeping bag

he threatens to expel them all if they don't find it

turns out it was under his seat the entire time

they eventually get lost and the teachers leave the bus to ask for directions

while in the bus, everything is peaceful until Aoyama spots a big ass spider on Ojiro's tail

After that... well you can guess what happened

bakugou tried to drown kaminari when they stopped at the beach

he also tried to fight the sun when he refused to put on sunscreen

seagulls kept on trying to steal shoji's sandwich

shinso(who is also there) may or may not have snuck a stray cat onto the bus

at one point when they stopped at city hotel, the teachers had a night out and they may have gone a little overboard at that bar cause their all drunk

all except all might, who has to find a way to navigate his intoxicated friends all the way back to the hotel without the kids seeing

their dignity will not stay intact if the students see them drunk

Hagakure sees them getting in and spills the tea in the groupchat

she also sends a blurry pic of All Migjt fighting to get Mic inside the elevator

the next morning they're all sworn to secrecy

Surprisingly Tsuyu is the only little shit that dares give Aizawa a wine cup as a gift from their next stop and the group tries to contain their laughter

Aizawa lets her off with a warning that shes on thin fucking ice cause it has a cat pattern on it

Kaminari drew a dick on Bakugou's face with permanent ink while he was sleeping and no one dares to mention it once he wakes up

He finds finds out eventually tho

Kirishima just barely managed to stop him from skinning kami and using his intestines as a scarf

sato just randomly eating banana budding out of a mayonnaise jar just to freak ppl out

they attempt to leave mineta behind everytime they stop

road work ahead?? y e a h i sure hope it does

someone in the bus farted big time, and no one can find out who it was so they're all dying in there

Jirou keeps getting the aux chord somehow and accidentally ends up playing Barbie Girl on loop

Midnight as it turns out, has road rage

she's basically shouting at the car in front of her for being *being so fucking slow* while the rest of them look at her with fear

They would eventually find that cat that Shinsou stole

By that time all the students would’ve banded together to hide it from their teachers

they failed

Aizawa takes the cat and it’s his now

Aizawa: Srry Hitoshi but the cat has chosen a worthier candidate

Iida: excuse my potty mouth

Iida(turns towards his rowdy classmates): S H U T T H E F U C K U P

I can not count the amount of times they’ve tried to leave mineta behind at pit stops

Believe me even the teachers want to, but the can’t leave a student behind because they’re heroes and also paperwork is a thing that exists

All mights just glad that their all bonding

Aizawa just sleeps most of time(surprising absolutely no one)

Present Mic’s trying to kill the entire bus w/ his book of terrible jokes

Midnight just wants to eat her chicken nuggets in piece

At some point they all end up camping under the stars✨. They’re all singing songs, telling jokes and telling stories. They’re eating hotdogs and s’mores while mic and midnight try to get Aizawa to sing a cheesy song he wrote about a cats. The students are all laughing and playing around like the kids they are.

It’s a nice way of forgetting all their problems.

It’s a nice break from having to save the world.

tina i will warn you, despite what my url might tell you, i have sincerely not watched an anime since 2017. maayyyyybe early 2018. here is a rec list from my hazy memories tho 

haikyuu — volleyball babies :’) ★★★★★noragami — ok i won’t lie there are some parts of this that make me go :| but the plot is really intriguing and i kept up with the manga for a while. also the intros of this HIT ★★★★☆kuroko no basket — yes this is a basketball anime. yes they also have superpowers somehow. it’s best if you don’t question it tho. ★★★★☆free! — this is the swimming anime and (as much as i clearly love sports anime) it never rly had a hold on me like the others. it was pretty popular tho and i remember one or two episodes being fairly entertaining ★★★☆☆bungou stray dogs — ok LISTEN… this is another one where you just have to suspend your beliefs a little bit. like yes theyre all named after famous authors. yes they also have superpowers. but it truly was peak entertainment for me ★★★★★devilman crybaby — this anime was stupid. i’ll say it. but i remember a mutual’s art made me want to watch it. then another mutual’s graphic really made me want to watch it. so i guess the real clown here is me… i remember it being like? really weird and nsfw? and oddly graphic tho? so maybe don’t watch this actually. ★★★☆☆boku no hero academia — ok i wont lie i stopped watching this around hm… the internship arc iirc? and a lot of parts definitely made me :/ like, for example, mineta’s entire existence… if you close your eyes enough it’s good, but you have to be willing to put up with weird shit. also more superpowers. ★★★☆☆shokugeki no souma — this was probably the dumbest thing i ever watched.. BNHA Rewatch: Season 1 Episode 8 “Bakugou’s Start Line”

And the BTA concludes! 

So we start with Bakugou’s little meltdown/anxiety attack. I actually remembered this scene the last time I had an anxiety attack over something school-related; it was the first time I actually started to kinda relate to Bakugou a little. Like, I feel ya, man. (I wish I had a cute childhood friend to make me feel better post anxiety. You lucky bastard).

Holy crap he’s small. (looks at wiki) Is that really the difference between 7′2 and 5′7? Somehow it feels bigger. (Maybe it’s just symbolism for how small BKG feels?). Also, one of my favorite reviewers nicknamed him “Baekugou” during his more sympathetic moments. I’m going to borrow that one.

And introducing...my third favorite character, after Deku and Kacchan! The one, the only, Momo Yaoyorozu! I think I loved this character from this scene onward. She’s another one who reminds me of me. “Let me present my long analytical thesis on everything these characters did wrong.” She’s bang on, too; I love it when this series acknowledges its heroes’ flaws. Also Todoroki with that sideeye. is this when you fell in love, Shoto? 

Speaking of...

Todoroki’s main strengths and flaws are pretty evident here. This is OG Shoto, all ice/cool and no heat/warmth Shoto, who refuses to work with other people and tries to do everything himself. (Though he was still considerate enough to recognize Momo and vote for her. OTP). Poor Ojiro and Tooru, they never had a shot. My basic opinion on Todoroki is: I love him. Definitely top 10, maybe top 5. I mean, nobody dislikes him, really. 

Smash has comedic takes on how all the other characters did. i have no real guess myself. My guess is that most of the Villain teams seem really underpowered compared to the Hero Teams; no offense to Kiri, but the only one I see potentially winning is Momo’s. Though Mineta’s also on her team, so not that great a shot.

All Might provides us with more Bakugou meta. This series loves to write meta about it’s own characters (and I love it!)

After a flashback added to pad the episode out, we return to Class A. Here comes Kirishima to fanboy about Deku! I so think he has sort of a thing for him. (I ship Kiri/Mina mainly, but hey, Mina and Deku both have fluffy hair, energetic personalities and kind-hearts. He can have a type!)

This whole sequence is adorable and characterizes Class A a bit (why does Mina admire Deku’s dodging so much, specifically? Is there any given reason for that?) One of my favorite bits, though, is this weird sequence where Kaminari hits on Uraraka, who blows him off to worry about Deku, who then blows her off to worry about Kacchan. Subtext, what’s that?

Speaking of....

BKDK Corner (basically the whole end of the ep)

Bakugou is honest. He may not like it, but Deku beat him. Fair and square, with his big hero brain and hard work. I like that.

This pivotal moment! Deku, for very little reason at all, marches right up to Kacchan and tells him his Secret ID. One of my favorite BKDK moments, because one) Deku trusts Kacchan here, more than anyone else, and it actually pays off because Kacchan doesn’t blab. Two) Deku says this to make him feel better. 3) Deku renews their rival vows. 4) Deku cares what Kacchan thinks and feels guilty about ‘tricking’ him. 5) Until Deku tells someone else about OFA, I can’t ship him with anyone but Kacchan. Because that’s such a fundamental part of who Midoriya is, along with growing up quirkless and looking up to All Might. I mean, no offense to Izuocha, Tododeku or other Deku shippers, it’s just...he only told one person, and that person is Kacchan. He has shown no interest in telling his Official! Love Interest, Uraraka, and she has no idea; Todoroki guessed but was far off the mark. (And figuring it out isn’t as powerful as Deku telling them, anyway. )

And now Bakugou’s rebuttal. A lot of his behavior makes more sense if you realize that until Episode 49 he thought Deku’d lied to him their whole lives. He didn’t believe him here, so he goes on thinking that Deku didn’t tell him about his quirk just to eff with him for a decade. His behavior is very different after Episode 49, and that’s probably why. Anyway, someone needs a hug! The Kacchan side of the “OFA confession” coin, then, is crying. Until Kacchan cries and pours his heart out like this to Kiri/Shoto/Ochaco/Jiro/whoever, I don’t ship him with anyone but Deku either. I need him with someone he feels comfortable crying around. And so far only one person fits that bill. (BTW, out of that list? The one I could actually see him crying in front of the most is Shoto. Maybe some day). 

All Might tries hilariously to comfort Bakugou and fails. I feel him. Trying to make people feel better isn’t my strong suit. Deku is apparently great at it tho.

This isn’t in the manga, BTW. They added it for the anime. Not sure what the point of it is, everyone already knows they’re rivals. Just to tell you Ochaco ships it? (maybe she wants a threesome. If I didn’t ship her with Iida, that’d be fine by me).

To quote from one of my favorite BNHA meta writers on this bit, Ryokure: “On this point I’m like 80% sure that Mineta’s existence, Yaoyorozu‘s stupid costume (come on, she’s fifteen! it’s too early to be objectified!), etc are there so people wouldn’t think that this is shounen-ai.”

In short, I love this episode! It may be just a quick wrapup ep, but it’s so full of good stuff. Momo!  Todoroki! Class A fighting each other! Sad tears and angst. BKDK galore. It’s a real treat of an episode.

oohh... that’s a tough one. death the kid always got on my nerves in soul eater. he’s not a bad character, he’s actually rly great, but definitely not my favorite. i hated bakugo in bnha at first but now i love him!! haha. i guess it’s hard for me to hate characters in anime... unless they’re absolutely horrible like *gags* mineta... (i’m pretty sure everyone hates him tho... he almost makes watching bnha unbearable, but i love the mains too much so i just ignore him and pretend he doesn’t exist)

Bnha Chapter 217

Long story short: I’m so happy this chapter exists, TBH.

Ok, now, my full reaction xD

(Sorry, this will be LONG. Do not read if you don’t need my silly reactions to a manga chapter or if you feel bored, really xDD Also, spoilers for 217 chapter!!).

Bakugo interviewing All Might. All Might just talking about his beloved master Nana. And so Bakugo concludes new pet name piece of shit Deku is the first one to experience this. We knew that already, Baku-boy.

All Might now thinking how good is to have Bakugo doing his work LMAO.

Deku seriously observing & listening to Bakugo’s serious conclusion 💘. This feeling is new. We have a new form of heart-warming, guys.

This entire reunion is pure gold. 👌

Ammmmmmm. OFA & AFO may be the same, but it works differently. OK, I was not prepared for that. This could seem good, but the tremendous OFA power might be a problem in the future and so my theory of it having to be destroyed at the end increases its veracity. I’m worried about Deku’s destiny now, too...

OK, back to the comedy, Bakugo looses it and (we could say, accidentally?) begins talking about him being the Nº 1 again and AM reminds him to tune down his ego LOL x’D x’D This three will end my life, I swear you.

[Izuocha PD: My theory about Deku’s power responding to his feelings is that Ochako will have an important role for that... You know, like, maybe her being the one able to calm him down or something, and I mean when he developes feelings for her and starts thinking about them, not right now, of course... that would be great <3]

Abussive parent turns into too worried/protective parent, I guess. Well, that’s.... that’s improvement, I understand. Not that I completely forgive him, but I’m happy how things are changing for the Todoroki’s.

We have another piece of Aizawa’s past, this time being a name: Shiragumo (Doesn’t that mean something like White Spider?).

BNHA AU Ideas : Choir Group

TL;DR:  Sometimes a family is 2 adults and 2 kids. But sometimes a family is a choir full of hero hopefuls.

(aka, what if everyone knew eachother from a choir group? what soft musical stuff can i cram into this au?) 

yagi does the allmight on the down-low

he had to leave broadway cause all for one ruined his organs

everyone in 1 a knows that yagi is all might but hes trying so hard to keep his secret so they just ignore it

izu wants to be a hero but hes scared of people so he joined a choir when he was smol

bakugou joined cause he wanted to beat izuku, they bonded a bit n its a more friendly rivalry

all of 1a was in the choir before ua, they are all shook that their class is just other choir kids

big three are the current choir leaders n izu was so proud they are the us big three too because he knew them when he was smol, baku n izu are the youngest in the top level

todoroki joined to spite his dad hes really good tho

mina lives for the dance group

iida is a baritone he sing low n hes a good boy, they are very proud of him cause hes one of the youngest in baritone, hes v proud too

ochako is an alto and I love her

monoma is a tenor n katsuki wants to kick him out of his section

tsuuyu is an alto too because i want someone to be a soprano but tsuuyu its too nice to be

jirou is a blessed alto

yaomomo is a soprano the poor girl

izuku is a soft alto boy! He had such a good upper range they thought hes be wasted in tenor

shinso is a soft tenor boy and has a singers crush on izuku

"oh my god hes just so fucking good he can dance too what the fuck guys. hes the only male alto im fucking shook he has the range of a god"

in their final year todo is the choral leader, bakugo is dance leader and izu is choir leader

villains are too scared to attack when they sing

aizawa was in the top level when izu joined

he was dance leader while in ua too because it was "only logical" he have a physical hobby (mic loved choir n aizawa loved seeing him that happy)

izu thought he was fucking amazing n thats why he wanted to join

n then he sees erazerhead n mic on tv when hes 8

yells to his mum "mama!!! thats zashi!! n shouta!! he had the dance solo when i joined" n inko doesnt know if izuku is right or not but she nods along and smiles anyway

first day of ua izu sees shouta n just gasps

"iTs HIm"

bakugo looks over

"oh my fuck it is isnt it"

aizawa is shook and confused

bakugo just sighs "its your fault deku is a fucking choir gay i hope you know that. you just had to be fucking competent didnt you"

all 1a student know each other from choir n they all have a big hug fest before the quirk test

"oH mY god its a soprano without a stick up her ass what are the chances" "jirou be nice to momo i know you hate sopranos but they have done nothing to you"

mineta exists in this au, as the only one not in choir. hes confused and then expelled the first day

aizawa is glad he was terrible because now he has his lil choir class, not that hed ever fucking admit it

1a harmonizes their bus songs and they learn all their choir repertoire on the bus trips around as  aizawa conducts

durring the usj izu n tsuuyu hum together to stay calm

izuku n todoroki are actually singing together durring their big fight, everyone in the audience is shook

its just because they are trying not to cry

because izu n todo have the "its your power" convo before the fight cause they are already friends, so izu is just trying to make him feel better about the argument he had with his dad

todoroki feels a lil more comfy so he brings up his flames n izu weeps n gives him a hug before they keep fighting

they sing stronger than you jokingly at the end of their fight

izu wins but only justttt. him n todo hug n laugh as they leave the field. yagi cries a lil for his boys.

izu n baku’s fight n it ends in a draw because they blow eachother out of the ring n they are both salty as

they have a dance battle refed by aizawa later (baku wins, izuku gives him soul custody of the medal)

enji would have a stroke

yamada was singing along the whole time other the speaker. Aizawa muted him but he just used his quirk

tenya had lots of good friends n doesnt hunt down stain, he n 1a go to hatsume about leg braces for tensei

tenya teaches tensei his choir choreography so he can get used to his braces

the boys do run into stain but they were minding they own business

they singing while they fight to stay in time n stay brave

stain is very confused but hes bopping along

todo starts it cause it made him feel better during the sports festival cause izu is crying

"you guys are true heros im so sorry about this but i really need to kill native"

"thanks i guess? but we gon fucking boop to you drop bitch"

"iida hes trying to kill us we can call him a bitch"

stains huming the song they were singing as he carted away to fucking jail

training camp is the same time as choir camp n 1a is shook n they are conflicted. aizawa gets training camp moved back a week

(the villains still attack but they tried to assault an empty camp first n thats funny)

the fight through the earth beasts is just 1a singing literally every song they know theyd finish a song, n theres a second wait while everyone races to think of something they all know before they scream out the title n start them all off

they sang bohemian rhapsody 5 times

1a arrives at traing camp like

"we just had fuck choir camp you dont scare us"

1a wasnt joking they arent phased by the summer camp. 1b is crying

bakugo gets kidnapped n just hums softly

shinso made it in after the festival because aizawa thought he was promising n it was another choir boy zawa has to protect them no hes not going soft zashi shut up

"bitch you villains have nothing on ms king fuck she had me shook"

the bakugo rescuse is the same but its more of 1a n no one was trying to talk them out of it very well

"its dangerous, dont get hurt" "we wont" "yeah ok"

they hold hands while they watch the allmight fight cause they are too scared to let go

then they run back onto the field to allmight after the fight n they hug n cry a lot

they go with yagi to the hospital n sing dumb songs together while he gets a checkup

izuku doesnt have to stop to wipe his nose, n bakugos voice doesnt shake n todoroki is pitch perfect of course (kiri and momo are ugly crying unabashedly. tenya is trying to find tissues)

bakugo totally doesnt hide his tears n growl that thy need a shitty nerd to lead them so they dont get to good

he yells at everyone cause he was scared but he can’t make himself be too mean cause they are his smol kids

mic smiles n mutters that aizawa has really gone soft on this class n aizawa just hides his face in mics shoulder n pretends he wasnt scared out of his mind for them

all of them grab his hand

izuku hugs bakugo saying they all need the future dance leader, after all no one else is as good as him

aizawa wants to be mad but hes proud that his kids didnt get hurt and were smart n improved so much

in the dorms they draw up a birthday list n anyone whos birthday has already been gets a new birthday

they wake them up at 6am you sing happy birthday n they birthday kid gets to pick the music on the bus n in the kitchen

bakugo n sato bake

iida, shinso n izuku are harmonizing while trying to eat breakfast but its bean 5 minutes n they havent eaten anything

bakugo shoves toast into izus mouth as he walks past to make himself some coffee

izuku sings around the toats

bakugo groans n sings over him

"i Just wanTed Coffee"

"BitcH we gOttA hArmoNiZe"

ochako, mina n tsuuyu are going over their dance infront of the couch, satou n tokoyami are gently sparring around bowls of oats and fruit

aizawa is humming as he cuts up some fruit for him and mic

sero sticks sheetmusic to the walls with his quirk so they can go over it as they do other stuff

shinso plays the goddamn switch piano as a backing track n bakugo is mad that hes impressed

yagi visits n tells them all hes so proud of them n listens to their sing their favourite songs with them n listens to izuku gush about new musicals almost as much as he talks about heroes

bakugo saltily adds on little bits of info

shinso n izuku dramatically reinact musicals together as they spar, (obedient servant is their fave beat eachother up song)

they get out musical soundtracks n people call dibs on the songs they want to fight to, aizawa mans the speakers and acts as the ref as bakugo n izuku fight to alexander Hamilton

ochako n todoroki fight to my shot cause it means a lot to both of them

the kids not fighting are singing the song on the sidelines. aizawa sings along too but he wont admit it

( he n izuku sing a lil duet for the room where it happens, mic claps n yagi cries)

no one fights for the last song cause everyone is busy singing n crying. - aizawa only cried cause he had dry eye ok nothing more

bakusquad always fights over the jefferson n layfette parts, they all wanna sing them solo

izuku starts with history has its eyes on you, looks at yagi n then starts to cry

yagi starts to cry too

he n yagi hug n leave training for a min to get icecream

izu grabs yagi n full cowl jumps to get icecream, makes yagi carry the icecream n jumps back

they eat icecream as 1a finishes up the musical sparring n they try not to cry some more

todoroki is still 100% conviced yagi is izus dad, hes just also conviced neither of them know it

yagi is very proud of his boy and very proud he didnt cough blood over his icecream

mic was his section leader when he was still in choir n zawa was the dance leader n they made the best duo

they were low on time due to hero training to they learnt their songs as they fought, w mic playing them through his phone as they beat up villains

they wouldnt let midnight practise with them because the fights finished too quickly so they didnt get a chance to sing

yagi wasnt in that particular choir, or any choir really but he loved to sing, would hum to victims to make them feel better and sung on tv for fans and charity

he starts teaching at the choir after the retires from hero work because he misses working and he really thinks the kids are delightful

yagi is a good choir dad n cries at all the concerts, n at the gigs, n when ever they do well really

they get nicknamed the hero course choir because so many ua students go/have gone

there are normal highschoolers of course but the ua students wont be outdone and are the best in the class

aizwa tells vlad they sing during sparring for breath support and stamina, and then decides thats actually a good reason n makes that the official reason, ignoring "it makes them smile" and "these kids have had enough intense fights"
