How the Brothers Would Deal with MC's Mortality

Mammon:

You casually brought it up as a joke

Probably something like “i’m here for a good time, not a long time” or “why should i care what happens in 100 years? It’s not like i’ll be around to care”

Would probably confuse Mammon at first as to why you wouldn’t be around, but he would put the pieces together in the middle of the night when trying to sleep.

A whole, eyes snapping wide opening and flinging out of his bed kind of moment.

Mammon would worry himself sick

Yes, he knows humans can die, hell, he used to mock you for being so frail when you first came to the Devildom, but now?

Well, now things are different. How he feels about you is different

He's spending all his money on ways to keep you kicking longer.

Anything he can think of that’ll help, he’s buying it. Vegetables, fruits, protein powder, comfortable clothes, a nice pillow, vitamins, shampoos- anything. He has no idea where to start, so he just starts grabbing everything.

I mean, something will have to help, right?

If you notice he looks panicked, don’t point it out, it’ll only make it worse. Unless you want to be smothered to death from his affection and worry, then by all means. ;)

Leviathan:

Look, he can barely handle his favorite anime characters dying, so you? Yeah, no, that’s way too much.

Nothing actually popped up to remind Leviathan of your mortality, it was because of Satan throwing his books all around the house that did it.

Suddenly, it was all he could think about. How did he not think of this before?

Leviathan is no Satan though, and he’s certainly not Lucifer. Researching medical documents and trying to think of things to keep you alive longer are a little over his head. That being said, there were some things he could do.

Leviathan dove into his own research that would be within his realm of understanding, studying that humans who have more positive mindsets and who are less exposed to depressing forms of media, may live longer than the average person. This- this was something he could work with.

Suddenly, you were constantly being invited to his room, Leviathan having a variety of slice-of-life anime for you to watch with him, all of which had happy endings to boot. If an anime was even remotely depressing, he made sure to keep that out of reach.

Video games? He’s keeping it safe; he’s not risking anything here. If it’s not similar to Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Dreamlight Valley, or The Sims (which must be on a good day), you’re just not playing it. Kingdom Hearts if you’re lucky.

Satan:

Would do an insane amount of research

Likely overheard the topic on a news segment about the tragically short lifespans of humans before it all clicked together.

Satan, unlike the other brothers, has never experienced death before, so while it sounds silly, he never had reason to think of you dying.

Looks up humans who had long lifespans to see how he can implement those things into your lifestyle.

Books will be littered everywhere (although that’s not really unusual, but what is would be the topic of said books- The Long Lives of Humans, Human Lifestyle for Dummies 101, The Road to Human Immortality, etc. etc.)

This is when Satan learns just how easy it is for a human to kick the bucket.

Heart attacks, brain aneurysms, strokes, seizures, cancer, the list goes on and on and it’s starting to scare him. He didn’t know humans could just drop dead.

He’s going to start researching curses to increase your lifespan, or at the very least he’s going to make sure you’re careful as hell.

You won’t even get as much as a cut without him being aware of it; he’s going to hover around and mother hen the absolute shit out of you.

Try not to get too annoyed with him though, it all stems from good intentions.

Asmodeus:

He’ll be damned if his shopping partner for life is going to die on him.

Asmo isn’t stupid; if anything he’s pretty emotionally aware. He's known for a long time just how short the lifespan of humans is.

But still, it came in the form of a nightmare. One where he couldn’t save you, despite giving his best efforts. The way you died was tragic, long before your life should have ended.

This sent Asmo somewhat into a frenzied state trying to find things to keep you alive once he woke up.

Vitamins, vitamins, vitamins

Humans benefit from vitamins, right? Surely you’d benefit from Devildom vitamins then. If it’ll increase the lifespan of a demon, he sees no reason why it wouldn’t increase your lifespan.

Of course, it really only gives you nicer nails and shinier hair.

He’s 10x more intense with your morning and night routines.

He will be unloading all his facial creams on you, and telling you the benefits of each one and how it might add a few years to your lifespan.

You want to stay up late at night to finish homework? Maybe watch a movie? Yeah, no, not on Asmo’s watch.

Your ass is going to bed every night at 10pm, right along with him. You do realize you’ll be getting exactly 8 hours of sleep each night, too, right?

Beelzebub:

Regarding his trauma with Lilith, it came as no surprise when he started to fret over your well-being.

Poor Beel saw an article that discussed how tragically easy it is for a human to die. The cherry on top? How they could die from simply overeating.

Overeating isn’t a concept Beel is overly familiar with (because to him, it’s never overeating), and while he knew most people couldn’t keep up with his eating habits, he didn’t think it could actually cause harm to a human, let alone kill them.

Grocery trips are now a more anxiety-inducing event.

He’s suddenly paranoid that any of the Devildom food could and will kill you. Are you allergic to anything? How would you even know?

What if one day he serves you his favorite boiled dragonhead and you just drop dead at the dinner table?? No, that will never do.

There’s a list of Devildom foods that he knows for sure you can have without dying, but then comes the issue of portion control. How much is too much for a human?

Beelzebub swore he would never lose another loved one again, and it’s a promise he intends to keep. From now on, you will only eat what he deems safe.

You want to try a new food in the Devildom that you’ve never had before? You better get some seriously good convincing skills if you want him to cave in. For someone who only ever thinks with his stomach, he’s surprisingly stubborn.

Belphegor:

He’s still plagued with nightmares about Lilith, especially since he still thinks it’s his fault. Tack that on to the way he blamed you and the rest of the human race for it? The man is walking trauma.

Like Asmodeus, this was brought on by nightmares about you dying. Different from Asmo’s, however, you usually died by his hand. Naturally, considering your tumultuous history.

Belphegor, unlike his brothers, takes a different approach. He just doesn’t approach you at all.

What better way to keep your lifespan long than by staying away from you altogether?

Is it something that he wants? Of course not! But how can he trust himself to never hurt you again? To never kill you again.

He can’t.

So, he locks himself away in his room, sleeping most of the day or just avoiding the areas you normally like to lounge.

On a normal day, almost everyone in the household, including yourself, would notice this behavior change. However, since you’re now being cornered by all the brothers and their concerns about your lifespan, it’s easy for Belphegor’s absence to slip your mind.

This hurts Belphegor, but at the end of the day, he believes this is for the best.

Lucifer:

Lucifer didn’t need a reminder of your short lifespan; if anything, it’s something he’s thought plenty about.

Lucifer has trauma, we all know that much. After Lilith, he’s absolutely terrified of losing another loved one to something outside of his control.

And your lifespan is not something that’s out of his control. At least not how he sees it, anyway.

If you thought he was overbearing or overprotective before, brace yourself. He’s going to step it up several notches.

No excess of junk food, no more pulling all-nighters, no more sitting around the house gaming all day, and definitely no more overexerting your use of magic. He’s no fool, he knows the toll your magic could eventually take on your body.

Honestly? He wasn’t this bad until his brothers started to panic about your mortality, and though Lucifer told himself he was above such nonsense, he quickly found himself taking all the precautions they were taking (and then some).

Fortunately, if you find yourself becoming overwhelmed, they’ll be more than willing to listen to you (granted you take some of their concerns into account).

Kamado Tanjiro

Tanjiro likes how cute you are. Little, hyperactive, helpful. You’re always running around with a broom or a water bucket to clean something. He doesn’t even need to ask you, you’re just being his little personal maid

Despite the fact, as your older brother, he should be taking care of and cleaning for you. No, you’re the one taking charge and making sure Nezuko’s box is shined to perfection, sweeping up the floors around his bed in the Butterfly Mansion and obsessing over seeing such mess

Tanjiro does worry about you a lot. Whilst the clean freak, caring and energetic demeanour you display is good. There is many negatives of your habits that has his heart aching with concern and his hands on the verge of ripping out his own hair. You’re reckless in your work

Overworking. Cleaning the Butterfly Mansion obsessively and for hours until Shinobu has to bring your exhausted but stubborn form to him so he can care for you, since you’ve been working yourself into the earth. Tanjiro appreciates all the unconditional maid care you’re doing for him, your own sister Nezuko and any home the Kamados refuge in but he can’t stand you risking your health

Overall. Tanjiro does really love you, he loves the cute little red and white maid kimono you wear and he loves how passionate and zesty you are, cleaning, cooking or sewing but he wishes you’d calm it down… not just for him but for yourself. At least; you, him and Nezuko can cook your mother’s recipes to relax

Iguro Obanai

Obanai finds this… well. He doesn’t know how to feel about your obsessive cleaning love. The fact, you act like some housewife despite being once over his age. You’re a child, you’re the poor innocent little girl he had picked up as his own child, out of pure pity for your position(since it was just like his) and whilst you’re not his biologically, he’s protective

So, he is a lot less tolerant over how hardworking and reckless over your own health you are. That you spend hours on end cleaning and perfecting everything around you. He doesn’t like it at all and he doesn’t mind being either strict or harsh to get his point across. You’re his kid, he can discipline you when he wants

Of course, Obanai isn’t cruel. He is only trying to fix up, what he believes to be, your OCD to save your health so he forces you to stop mopping his floors around 8pm and puts you to bed with no buts allowed. He’ll let you be his little maid and care for the home you share with him but not when it includes putting yourself behind the work

Obanai does like to bond with you over sewing and cooking. Your skillset is of a housewife and whilst he finds it weird that his adoptive kid has housewife mindset, he isn’t going to just stop because he is uncomfortable by mere talents you have. Cooking and sewing are important to your life growing up so he encourages it

Besides the whole overworking thing and how invested in cleaning the Estate you become, he does really like your behaviours. You’re the perfect child; free-spirited, independent, confident. He likes how your trauma hasn’t effected you and he wouldn’t get rid of you, even if your own habits are annoying and concerning

Rengoku Kyojuro

Oh. How wonderful, now, he has two child houserearers in his life. One, his younger brother Senjuro and now you, his precious adoptive daughter. He finds you the most gorgeous little lively flame to ever exist and he does truly encourage your cleaning habits. It’s good to develop excellent hygiene, as Kyojuro says! However, even Kyojuro has limits to good hygiene practice

At first, he doesn’t really notice it much since he wants to be the most uplifting, sweet, considerate father he possibly can be for you. He doesn’t want to tell you what to do, even when it severely worries him. He doesn’t know how to talk about it but he does have the guts to bring it up and try make some type of compromise

Kyojuro really doesn’t like seeing you up at 1am scrubbing the windows frantically since you spotted some smudges you’re struggling to get out. It’s not healthy and it’s too risky. He loves you a lot and he doesn’t want you to be treated as some slave. You’re not a slave, you’re his babygirl. Even if he just got you, you’re still his and he wants to care for you, not enable a bad habit. Rather it offend you or not. He needs to put his foot down

Kyojuro decides to begin balancing checking up on you to his regular vigorous training. Task you with cleaning like sweeping or scrubbing the outside porch so he can always keep his eye on you and make sure you’re not going to pass out from exhaustion with a bottle of bleach in your hands once more. You’re a child, not a robot

Kyojuro is only being specific and setting down rules for your own sake, not for his. To him, the most important thing to him is his all-knowing, big-eyed little demon. You may stress him out with your cleaning obsession but otherwise, he enjoys cooking with you. It’s very relaxing

is pre canon marinette a stalker?

i always receive lots of comments on my videos stating: “but bridgette (in reference to PV, and generally pre canon marinette) is actually a stalker much worse than marinette who always gives gifts to felix who keeps rejecting her! she basically harasses him when he makes it clear he doesn’t like her back!”

so is she? let’s analyse:

regarding early marinette’s behaviour towards nathan/ felix, we have these images to work off of

nathan, as i’ll refer to him here, is obviously quite annoyed with marinette. so oh he must definitely hate her and she must be stalking him. but are we going to take what we see at face value?

remember that these are concept art. meant to capture the overall essence of the dynamic between two characters. sometimes, it is over-exaggerated to make it obvious what their personalities are meant to be without having to use too many words. that’s the whole point of drawing concepts.

here, we can infer that marinette is bubbly, enthusiastic, who keeps a positive mindset even when faced with rejection (literally and figuratively). we can also infer that nathan is grumpy, dismissive, aware of marinette’s feelings and has a dark side to him. thus it is easily implied that these two characters are meant to be stark contrasts.

we can assume their general personality from concept art. but concept art does NOT represent all the actions they do. marinette is portrayed as always giving things to nathan yes. but it’s literally just the same fucking tickets in all three images. she even has the same outfit on for two of them, implying it occurs on the same day, before nathan goes to club, and after boxing. the last image, is a god damn poster to illustrate the series as a whole.

then we have this lovely image

“oh she’s kissing him without consent! that’s harassment!”

firstly, ever wondered why nathan would hang out with marinette in a movie theatre, alone, together, when he supposedly always rejects her upright? have you considered they’re friends?

anyways not the point, but we all know miraculous ladybug is inspired by comics/ anime. and there’s one troupe that’s pretty huge in those industries, especially in those times. which is rejection, that’s almost all the time gags. naruto and sakura is the one that comes to mind rn. and maybe tamaki and haruhi.

now would you say those people are exactly harassing their love interest? keeping in mind that it’s also meant to play out solely as comedy? personally, knowing the context and intention, i wouldn’t exactly say so.

and finally take a look at these images.

oh my god. what’s that? is nathan smiling? impossible! he hates her! (that’s obv nathan due to the collar and that iconic eiffel tower background)

therefore, in conclusion, is pre canon marinette (specially “qk” and or pv) outright with her feelings? yes. but is she a stalker and a harasser? no. something such as that cannot be concluded on 4 drawings.

A chronological analysis on Twilight and Yor - Part 4

When Anya ends up making it into Eden, Twilight is more or less coerced by Franky into giving her a lavish reward. Although this episode is mostly comedic and doesn't have much to analyze, a lot actually came to mind during the part where Twilight "battles" drunk Yor while she's pretending to be a witch. This is the first time he's seen her in her much less reserved, drunken state, and also the first time she's doing something that, to him, could be seen as an annoyance or even a threat (she did draw blood when she kicked at his face with her heel).

We know that Twilight wouldn't knowingly say things to Yor, Anya, or anyone else if it would be detrimental to his mission, such as an insulting remark that would hurt their feelings. However, this should not affect what he thinks. As far as Twilight is concerned, nobody has access to his thoughts except for him, so there's no reason for him to put any filters there (since he doesn't know that Anya can read his mind). We're given plenty of insight into his thoughts throughout the series, and even though, as I mentioned before, he often lies to himself about his feelings, he never seems to think bad things about other people. In this case, rather than be bothered or even angry at Yor for taking this silly performance so seriously, what does he think to himself? That she shouldn't be using physical attacks if she's supposed to be a witch! (and when she finally reaches her limit and falls asleep, he simply asks if she's okay).

Even for other characters who are actual threats to him, like Swan from the previous episode, or even Yuri later on, insults and criticisms never pop up in his thoughts (compare this to the many anime/manga protagonists who always think "this bastard" when faced with an antagonist). You can tell he's annoyed by having to do the whole Bondman skit, but even so, he doesn't openly complain about it (but he does openly congratulate Anya at the end). All this indicates that he's a very non-judgmental person both internally and externally. Another example that I mentioned before is when he refuses to put any blame on Anya and Yor for their performance at the Eden interview…and there will be many more instances like this to come. I believe the reason for this part of his personality goes back to his obsession with his spy profession.

He's determined to keep his emotions in check, whether good emotions or bad emotions, and even just thinking negative thoughts about others could trigger negative emotions. Because of this, he's probably conditioned himself over the years to just not feel anything towards other people, whether love or hate, attachment or aversion, which ultimately means never idolizing them or disdaining them. Why waste time thinking happy or angry thoughts about people when you can put that energy into understanding their mindset, outsmarting them, and then getting valuable information from them? He might also know that his own hands are dirty from all the lying, manipulating, and killing he's done in his line of work, so he feels he has no right to judge others. But regardless, while Twilight never harbors malevolence towards people, the number of positive thoughts he has about his (fake) family will only continue to increase, including those that manifest into words.

Funny enough Odin is supposed to be a death god and just imagine a culture clash between him and Zeus surprised that they treat death so poorly especially since death in Norse culture is an important aspect. And again from Zeus's angle he would be surprised as major top dieity also works as a death god due to how derided his brother's position is.

Ooh yeah!!

Actually, I believe in the animated series Zeus and Odin were (supposedly) friends. Mainly because of the one line in the Pool Party episode where he asks Hera “Aren’t we playing bridge with Odin and Frigga that night?” lol, so they seem to be good friends. Also there was the whole Twilight of the Gods episode that had Odin and Thor and Loki and all that, and Odin was indeed the ruler of Valhalla. The souls there also seemed to like and respect him and he was a pretty cool guy towards the souls and others (unlike Hades who can’t stand the dead souls and is usually annoyed by most people).

Also, I have no clue if Zeus is in charge of the Elysian Fields (which is sorta like the Greek Valhalla) in the Disney universe or not. They made it clear in the Driving Test episode that the Elysian Fields are so private and exclusive that even Hades can’t get in there and the Elysian Fields are a part of HIS domain, so it’s a very important place (Hades refers to the place as a country club, so that’s pretty much what it is in that universe I guess lol). Hades even wanted to make a deal with Zeus that if Hercules didn’t pass his driving test that Zeus would give him the Elysian Fields so he can build a “summer home” of sorts there lol. So, I’m assuming Hades doesn’t own or rule over the Elysian Fields despite it being a part of his domain. It seems that Zeus is in charge of the Elysian Fields. So, I pretty much said all of that to say that I suppose he can relate to Odin in that way lol.

But yeah, I can see them having a convo about how each of them views the dead in a different way like Zeus saying he gave Hades the underworld just so Hades could have a domain of his own (and nobody else really wanted the job….well…besides Hecate, but that was probably after the fact), but he isn’t too crazy about the dead and find the whole “underworld thing” to be very dull and uncouth (as they say in The Gospel Truth II lol). While Odin explains that the dead are a bigger deal in Asgard because Valhalla is kinda like the Elysian Fields. Many great warriors and kings get sent there and they wait until Ragnarök to help Odin fight the jötnar.

I think Zeus understands Odin and his ideals, but he also knows that they run things differently in Asgard compared to Olympus, so Zeus probably still has the same mindset of “working in the underworld is ‘dirty work’ that I wouldn’t want to do unless you paid me big money” because that’s just how he runs his things. I also think that maybe Zeus would have a little bit more respect for Hades as ruler of the underworld, but like I said, they run things differently and Zeus is known to be together stubborn and hardheaded (and kinda daft), so he probably still doesn’t give Hades the respect that he gives to Poseidon and the other gods.

I Just Listened to the First Episode of Braving the Elements and I Know I'm Late to the Party but I Have Very Incoherent, Babbling Thoughts About It

(now that I heard Janet and Dante talking I needed to draw young Zuko and Korra. I think they'd be friends. Like, they'd get into fights [with Sokka, too] about who's muscles are more impressive and dumb jock stuff like that. Their respective girlfriends would be so tired.)

Anyway, I think the UGGs ad was a great way to start this out. Really set the tone. I'm also vibing to the theme music cuz I literally haven't listened to it since I rewatched the finale a couple of weeks ago.

[I had no idea Dante Basco was in a dance group as a child I'm laughing for no reason now. I shouldn't judge though I was a drama kid too lol]

I feel like they're doing the whole "the LIGHTS, the CAMERA, the CINEMATOGRAPHY" thing while they're talking about the opening scene. you know what, i'm fine with it.

Basically them:

"Kataang."

The animal crossing segment is cute Appa finally getting the appreciation he deserves

"thINgS HapPEn SoMEtiMeS" has the same energy as Zuko telling Suki "oh, sorry about that" when she reminded him he burned down her village

Aww they brought up Greta Thomburg. I forgot how old this podcast is, but that was a really great message about how the young are the ones saving us and stuff. As a Zoomer [do people still say that?] I can say confidently most of us have no idea what we're doing but we're opinionated and we're here and we're ready to fight for the environment and social justice and shit

Idk about ya'll but I don't think Nick should be letting Mr. Basco represent them I mean that was like three whole "damn"s that is some inappropriate behavior right there

"they're people of privilege" This hit me so hard for no reason. Like it's really obvious, especially in Book 2, that despite all of the abuse Zuko went through he was still in that whole royalty mindset where he basically expects things to be handed to him for most of his arc.

I mean, yeah, that speaks for itself, and there are other instances too. I think Zuko's arc largely corrects a lot of his entitlement, which is a great thing to see throughout the series, but IROH. For some insane reason, maybe because he's very wise and seems content with the little things in life and is basically trying to oppose books 1 and 2 Zuko in every way possible, I never really thought of him as privileged but now it's so obvious that he is. IDK I think that was an interesting thing to point out. It almost makes me value Iroh more because he obviously had to go through a similar journey to Zuko's unlearning all of the arrogance that came with his position and came out of it on the other side as a kind, wise individual who cares deeply for other people and puts the fate of the world before his own. Still interesting to think about on my next rewatch of B1 though, I'll have to start looking out for those behaviors in Iroh.

ANYWAY

OMG I love Katara finally getting some recognition!! Like there's this meme about the world being saved by "nagging" or whatever and it kind of annoys me. Like, she's calling Sokka out on all of his sexist behavior and that's "nagging"??

Okay, honestly, I liked it. It was funny, it was cute, I can see it being good, I'll keep listening to it... But, I felt like we were only getting surface level thoughts? There were a few moments where I was like "GODDAMMIT JUST SAY WHAT YOU THINK" which is kind of annoying on a podcast that's supposed to be reviewing the episodes. Like, really? That heavy pause after Dante mentioned Kataang? Janet hesitating to say what she thought when it came up again? C'mon guys, I know you don't want to start anything but the ship wars are not stopping no matter what any of us do at this point because there will always be people on both sides of the war that are toxic and like to start drama. They're not saying everything they want to about the ships and that's a fact. We know it. They know it. Bryke knows it. Also, Dante having not read the series bible was funny but it's only going to be a good joke for so long. Know your shit if you're doing a podcast on it.

I might just be complaining because I need to complain, it's only the first episode, after all, so I want to be clear that I really did like it. 10/10 would recommend, I just hope they maybe get more into the fandom stuff as we go along instead of just looking at the episode. Dig a little deeper, discuss controversial stuff, have a little fun with it, READ THE SERIES BIBLE.

(btw I might make more Korra and young Zuko fanart. It was fun, and now I have ideas for them meeting in some weird spirit world thing)

[AAM] CHAPTER ONE - PART 3

YOU CHOSE: Awkward! Refuse to move or do any sound.

"... Hum…"

The moment to whom Lily decided to paralyze in her tracks felt like an eternity. The woman right in front of her stayed silent with a questioning gaze that was hidden behind the cloth on her eyes. A questioning that took a while to leave her mouth as she realized that Lily had no intentions to move from this embrace.

Lily's face still burned red. This was so embarrassing, she couldn't stop asking herself why she was like this, feeling embarrassed to any pretty woman that came to embrace her, even if it was in a dire situation. Freezing in such a state only meant to make the whole thing even more awkward.

…

It wasn't her fault though! Or so she wanted to believe... She couldn't help to notice that beautiful aqua hair that beautifully turned white from a gradient wonder, asking herself just what type of eyes were behind that cloth. Was that woman even capable of seeing anything with such a thing?

"... Who are you?" The aqua haired woman asked, not letting go totally of Lily. "What are you doing here?"

"I.. I don’t know." Lily was honest, her face still hot. She was slowly calming down from the hopeless romantic mindset she usually liked to be in. " I was lost, and suddenly I was…. Dying…?"

That description felt like it made Lily sound completely out of her mind, yet the woman just nodded to that, understanding yet casual body language.

"Hm. That does sound like the entity's powers. Can you stand up?"

"I… think so…?" Lily feels her body move slightly to a more comfortable position by the help of the woman who stands up before her to help her out.

Lily tries not to think of anything of it this time as she gets up.

Her legs still tremble. After a moment of not feeling them and almost falling back down – even with the help of this strong woman – Lily thought to herself: Maybe it wasn't a bad idea to freeze and not move at all, she would have made a fool of herself with that one.

The woman steadies her for a few seconds after Lily feels okay to stand by her own.

The rain still pours, the wind is strong and Lily feels slightly cold. Her clothes are so drenched now and it feels so heavy and annoying. After that incident with the 'Entity', she just wanted a cozy warm place.

Aqua haired woman seemed to have noticed that, holding her hand up to Lily, waiting for her to take it.

…

Lily coughs awkwardly, giving her hand, holding the other in a shy manner. How strange it was to feel shy while the other's hand felt so calm and strong.

In her wonder of thinking about imaginary scenarios, though, a sigh from the woman by her side can be heard. "Hold still for a second."

Lily suddenly felt the lack of warmth in this woman’s voice to be alarming, an indirect way to tell her to please stop this. She cleans her throat, shielding herself from more awkward situations. "... Okay… I should maybe leave.."

"You can’t. Not right now at least." As the woman spoke, Lily felt, for just a split second, her body lose any matter as her entire view changed from a cold rainy town in a dark night, to a rather cozy small room. The only light source in that place was a candle in the table nearby.

Lily felt confused for a single second, until she realized what this woman's powers were.

The wonder of teleportation. What a nice power to have, Lily always felt the need to use those types of powers in any capacity if she would be able to. It was such a nice one to have. But, truth be told, as long as it stayed exactly like the current situation, Lily was okay over her current situation regarding her powers… at least that's what she hoped in the best way possible…

As these thoughts go through Lily’s mind in a flick of a second, the scenery surrounding her quickly makes her body relax as the warmth of the nearby fireplace decides to give the fire a comfortable and warm lighting to the whole room.

Lily took a while to continue to speak, to the moment where this woman took her spear off her back and put it near the couch.

“... What do you mean by not right now? I can’t leave?”

The silence the woman stood after that was a bit scary in Lily’s mind. She stood her ground as she took a step closer to this woman, feeling her wet clothes making her feel so much heavier than she was.. “Is there any reason for me to be unable to?”

“No. Well…” Silence again. When Lily felt like this person would never answer her clearly, the woman turned her head towards her, passing by her side and walking towards the window behind Lily. “It’s not easy to explain, and not safe white it stills around.”

“It…?” Lily turns around to look at the window. The woman opens the heavy curtain to reveal… a dark sky.

Lily’s eyes go wide. She hadn’t noticed it before. The sky was not a night sky. Where the stars should be, there was nothing but darkness. A lack of everything.

It wasn’t the night sky Lily was looking at, but something devoid of anything but void itself.

“There it is.” The woman spoke, pointing at the sky. Lily had to squint her eyes to try and see anything. Probably took her a while, but eventually she saw in the sky a glitch type of effect going through the sky. There was any lack of orange to be able to see it clearly, making it all impossible to see unless it was the slight colors of its shape quickly fading. “That entity keeps us here for days, or even months sometimes when it decides to not kill us.”

Lily felt fear slowly rising under her skin, stepping away quickly from the window and closing the curtain without asking the other first.

Luckily the woman didn’t even react to any of that, just looking silently at Lily as she tried to come to terms with this situation.

“... You… You will have to explain everything to me right now, otherwise I will scream…”

The woman stays silent for a few seconds, pondering over the statement. “What do you want to know?”

The most annoying part to me about people ignoring not only what you're saying, but Jensen and the others... This fandom 'joked' for MONTHS about his silence because he was mad. Now that there is undeniable proof that was true, half of them are ignoring are pretending they didn't see it. Outside of when asked by others a question that man didn't talk about the series until The Winchesters was announced but again people ignore it.

You want the truth? The same reason people are unstable as fuck in what they do on things like that is the same reason I catch so much horse shit, all around.

Very few people in this fandom are genuine. In what they say, believe. Some think they're genuine, many don't care to bother. The same person that'll say Misha was Teh Debil for running back in the closet or whatever will turn around like 2 days later and wail BUT WHAT IF WE DON'T GET MISHA GREETS. Logic source: Some shit they made in their own head that makes ZERO sense.

A lot of it has to do with trying to moralize fandom for control, rather than moralize themselves for honesty. But if they can, they turn everything into a perceived spin of righteousness. This goes as deep as even the j2 tinhats, where they've built themselves worlds where they can disregard anything they don't like as "PR" under the imagination of Being True Fans That Know The Truth. It positions them morally above other fans (due to delusion) and warrants excessive, often attention seeking behaviors.

The average panic-- whatever the chicken little bullshit of the day is-- ratings, cancellations, plots, who will or won't show up, who is or isn't satan, the Horrific What If of the day--is about giving the person themselves attention, rather than if that person critically inspected that belief or has any meaningful, stable, or continuous morals guiding it.

Then you get the congoers that forget they're just consumers because they've earned recognition. They forget this and start taking up all the air in the M&G room, which annoys other people, who then ask HOW those people get THOSE experiences, They Must Be Special. Begrudgingly. Rather than them just being overconfident while others are shy, and sucking all the air out of the room.

Many of them KNOW they're twisting or warping takes, many of them KNOW they are overglorifying their placement in things. Many of them hide behind civility culture games. Very few have confidence in what they say, as much as twist things they hear to try to convince THEMSELVES of something.

So with all of that, I'm blunt as fuck, I'm efficient as fuck, I've always managed to run circles around this exact same group of numpties since day one, they've gotten saltier and banded together into groups of failed numpties. It isn't even about being right anymore to them, it's about Trying To Make Me Wrong. Or leave. Or whatever. HOW COULD AARON HAVE POSSIBLY KNOWN ALL THIS EVEN BETTER THAN JARED THE WHOLE TIME THATS IMPORRRRSIBLE!!!! No, it's fuckin not.

But they all lie and exaggerate and jump moral bars all the time. In fact look at how many failboats those big ITK people had in years past, WHY they're so angry. They've always exaggerated what they've known so they HAVE to project I'm doing the same, because they literally *do not understand* that *they can not pay pass to what I do.*

But it's that. So people that formerly saw SexySilence FUNNY, are suddenly like. Nono, protecting my viewpoints, both my victim mindset, my lack of culpability in being a dick to creatives, etc--protecting this ego and denying it is more important right now.

Flip, flop, flip, flop.

It's no one side. It's that this fandom is infested with people with attention seeking personalities and, frankly, other cluster B traits. And sure those can be managed, but they don't. They don't manage. They just get into a Cluster of Cluster B and lob their shit at everyone.

Doesn't matter to them how True something is, really. They think if they say it enough, it'll make it true. In their heads, seems to be what I'm doing--I talk, something comes true. But that's because, you know, I've actually spoken with these creatives outside of transactional relationships and have paid attention and listened for years. So yeah, I talk, something comes true. You can't just. Replicate that off of pure stubborn bullshit. You can't just Project your headcanon of the universe into reality.

Consumers found a property full of other entitled consumers building psychosocial bubbles of nonreality in the internet where everyone patted them on the head and told them it was as okay to get as hysterical and ridiculous and embarassing as they want Cuz Feelings. Then they just. Assume everyone else is being as fake.

So yeah. All you're seeing is the shit I've been telling the genuine people that WANT to listen and WANT the truth for years: the people that often made the biggest hysterical noises over the years, or even are right now, don't even care about the actual result of the hysterics, they just care about the attention they get in the time between.

Okay so first lemme lay down the species stuff (Only for the ones who I changed species of)

Yeah you can tell there's a theme with Emperor's. Anyway! More under cut

Emperor is black because this is my rewrite and I'm allowed to do what I want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway

Emperor and Prinz' tentacles and certain spots around their eyes glow in the dark vaguely, but they can will it to glow brighter if so desired. They usually do this during splatfests.

They also have much higher/farther super jumps, squid rolls and squid surges, and are able to gain far more air using their inkjets Also, with their species, they can stay airborne longer than the average squid if so desired, however they try not to do these a lot considering it is actually very difficult for them to control their jumps and whatnot. The scar on Emperor's eye is proof of that.

Ignore the Houzuki bit I am simply a firm believer in the Houzuki family theory.

So that's emperor! Now uhhhh Who's next.

Aloha!! Aloha is... How do I say it? A defective? Unsure. He has no control over his glow. In the dark, his skin, eyes, and tentacles glow cool patterns, his skin glow defaults to the exact opposite of his ink colour!

He can, though, change it! As seen here

Also, if you look at their like. head long enough you can tell that they have three sets of ears! One is the default pair, one is really small and one is just raised up too high. The other two do allow him to hear... slightly better, but they're just annoying, generally.

Skull, during Team Blue's rematch, fuses with his Special on accident. He just got a wee bit careless. Does it hurt? Absolutely yes. Can he do anything about it? No. His squid form is partially Kraken while also.. Not? And his head hurts at a constant. He also has the pattern around his body usually. There's a lot more physical changes but we won't get into those yet. This is what you get for using a special your body isn't physically capable of handling, Skull. You dummy.

But, not all is lost. Avi comes over to his place a lot to help him out with things that he. Cannot do anymore because of the near constant pain he's in. But that's okay because Skull can still snipe people and it's AWESOME. Just uhhh don't let him activate his special(if its the Kraken) he will probably Die. Like I mentioned in his info card I think, he is deformed. This is not good.

Ocho and Shellmet are siblings! That's why they are both Mimic Octopus. They were actually both Octarian Soldiers but they were both also very poorly treated so that's awesome. Ocho ended up separating from Shellmet and was taken into the Metro but he got out.

When he and Shellmet reunited they managed to get to the surface and ended up doing a LOT of fucking around and finding out in order to blend in with the civilians of Splatsville. Do note though their military mindsets stuck the whole way through. Their fucking around and finding out is actually how they met Wireglasses, where Ocho battled him, lost, and Wire (Not knowing shit abt them) was like "Youre strong holy moly. Wanna join us" And Ocho with zero hesitation because he craves positive attention said yes and Shellmet was like "ur so dumb. [Joins to look after him]"

A little late after the episode but I do have some (over 1k worth) thoughts on BMF and how they handled the whole sex thing that I need to let out before I even go into the tag.

I'll say this show has been very pleasantly surprising the last few episodes, and I was quite impressed with how they handled and addressed very real queer experiences - if it's Pisaeng's beautiful journey with the gay bar, his mom's "acceptance", and the beautiful beautiful rally with the wonderful speakers discussing queer struggles and more.

That's why I had a tiny bit of hope for an asexual Kawi following his comments about sex (can two people who date never have sex? YEAH!), but I wasn't holding on to it very much because I'm a realistic not delusional leg :') So as much as I LOVE this idea and think it could have been very interesting and important and a great opportunity to explore asexuality and relationships - I will write here under the assumption that Kawi is allo and is meant to be sexually attracted to Pisaeng.

One of my least favorite tropes in bl is "the blushing maiden"- where one character really pushes the other into intimacy and the other is avoiding it. If two characters are in a relationship- let them both be interested in each other!!! (uwma and between us are two of my least favorite bls from those I watched bc of that. Bad Buddy is probably my favorite because they show the mutuality of the relationship very well). Some examples for it being done well are MSP - they're BOTH shy and both do want it, they're just kids. When Tinn asks for kisses Gun is flustered and Tinn does it in a teasing way, and very much respects Gun's wishes. Not to mention, he ends up being even more shy.

I think the most similar to what BMF seems to be trying to show would be The Eclipse. Akk is extremely repressed. He's full of self-loathing and internalized homophobia and every time Aye pushes it's to help him be able to do what he wants without needing to admit it. Credit is definitely due to First's superb acting skills because he's effortlessly able to show the audience how much he's torn inside, how much he's very much into Aye, how he WANTS to touch him and be intimate with him, but he's scared and has a lot holding him back. Of course it's not perfect but it didn't give me the ick as much as uwma did, and not as much as BMF did too.

Which brings me to Kawi and Pisaeng.

Pisaeng made this beautiful journey for self-acceptance and embracing his queerness. We as the audience also know how easily things could have turned different and he would marry Pear without even coming out! So we know how much of a struggle it was, and it's reasonable to think- still is, for him to accept his attraction to men. I think that is part of what makes this dynamic between them so jarring - I want to celebrate Pisaeng's confidence, he's being sweet and romantic and giving his bf positive attention in an unapologetic queer way - but then the way Kawi reacts to it makes me also wants to hate it, to feel like Pisaeng is pressuring him and being predatory, demanding without consent.

But it's not what happens. Because of everything I mentioned about Pisaeng, and because he's charming and cute and has been through all that, I find myself "rooting for him" (why are there sides to be rooting for???) and thinking man Kawi is annoying! Didn't he say he's into Pisaeng?? Why can't he show it too, make him feel loved and wanted like he deserves? But that's a mindset I don't want to fall into.

But what I'm missing to feel more sympathetic towards Kawi is what I found in MSP and in The Eclipse - show me he does want it but he's scared, he's not ready, he's shy, anything! But now what I'm getting from him is that he doesn't actually like Pisaeng at all, and all that changed was their official status.

I was very excited for the chat he had with Max (a little bit because he really did sound like an asexual there and I had hope), because up until now he had very good advice and gave great queer insight.

I loved how he talked about his experiences, and said that yes, sex is an essential part of his relationships but - I was so sure he was gonna say it's different for everyone, that Kawi shouldn't do anything he's not ready for and that he should talk to Pisaeng about it.

Instead, when Kawi said he doesn't find sex to be that important in a relationship (ace Kawi! ace Kawi!!), Max kinda shamed him with "well you're a virgin so you don't know", and basically told him "you're gonna do it eventually so might as well now, you're lucky it's with someone you love". Which is kind of a horrible advice IMO. Another approach they could take is tackle why it is that Kawi is so reluctant, discuss his internalized homophobia that still makes him perceive gay sex as wrong and how he can get over it and embrace this part of himself. But the reasoning for him to do it being "just do it" ugh. No thanks.

Another direction I thought it might take and I would have been happy with is Pisaeng maybe apologizing for pushing and expressing hid sadness that Kawi doesn't want him or isn't into him or something like that, and Kawi would then explain and express how much he DOES want him but he's just not ready. ANYTHING. to make me believe Kawi is into Pisaeng and not just forcing himself because he's told he needs to.

The amusement park analogy was a bit on the nose - if you don't try the rollercoaster it's like you haven't really been here = if we don't have sex our relationship doesn't count. Which, ouch. But yeah "it's ok if you're scared, I'll be with you and hold your hand the whole time".

I was a bit surprised they ended up not going, and then again at the car with the roof, but after further thought I realized it was - Kawi saw Pisaeng respects his wishes and doesn't actually cross his boundaries and so he trusts him enough by the end of the episode. Still, the fact they had sex felt... wrong. After Kawi spent the whole episode being scandalized by anything touch related, his conversation with Max, him being scared shitless to find lube, the theme park and then the dinner - the transition to having sex felt lacking. Them just having sex without any sort of discussion about Kawi's reluctance, talking about how it's actually both of their first times (I assume? at least with a man), how it's ok to take it slow.. Idk, Kawi couldn't bear KISSING Pisaeng up until this point, so now they're having sex? It made it feels like he's forcing himself which is the last thing I want for their relationship. I want to see them both wanting each other :')

There were some great highlights like Kawi staring at Pisaeng in bed or calling his mom but for me it wasn't enough to make me feel like their relationship is built on mutual attraction.

ARC REVIEW: The Lady He Lost by Faye Delacour

3.5/5. Releases 4/2/2024.

Vibes: back from the dead, sweet guy/card sharp girl, unfinished business

Heat Index: 6/10

For two years, Lieutenant Eli Williams has been presumed dead following a shipwreck. He comes home to find that his money's gone (thanks to his brother), his fiancee married another man, and his former friend Jane... still hates him. Though Eli wants to fix things before returning to sea, Jane has bigger plans in mind. Eli chose her cousin over her, and she's bent on locking in her own future through her ladies' gambling club. As Eli works to regain her affection by bringing in new members, she's determined to resist--but can she?

This is one of those books where I liked the writing style and saw definite potential in the author (and it's important to note, I think, that this is her debut). However, I can't say that I was completely wowed. This is a brisk romance with some solid heat, and I would recommend it for readers who like something on the lighter side, if that makes sense. I just personally would've preferred a bit more done with this concept.

Quick Takes:

--Part of why I may be a little more on the "whelmed" side with this one is that I don't know that the marketing matches this book. This is a great cover--and I do feel like the lighting, the colors, the intimacy suggest something a bit angstier when coupled with the back copy. Despite it being a book about two people coming back together after the hero is presumed dead... It never felt that serious?

And because it didn't feel that serious, I also didn't really get the anger Jane felt towards Eli. Personally, it felt a bit "I had dibs on him!" which I.... don't care for! I enjoy an unlikable heroine, but I just didn't get Jane. I didn't get her beef with Eli. It felt unjustified, but it also felt like the story didn't get that it was unjustified, which made her come off as annoying. For me, at least. I did enjoy her angle as a card sharp.

--I appreciated Delacour's effort to add diversity into the story. Yes, a supporting queer character who doesn't suffer isn't like, smashing windows, but it does matter. Especially in historical romance, which can be more on the conservative side. Casual positive representation makes a difference, and it's the kind of little detail that makes me feel like the author was really thinking carefully as she wrote.

--Eli is a sweetie. The thing is that because he's a sweetie, you kind of have to accept him taking a lot of shit from Jane throughout the story. And if he's taking a lot of shit without really dishing it out, is it? Enemies to lovers? I'd say no. It's not a bad thing, but it's not enemies to lovers.

The Sex:

You get several good scenes, not that are super explicit, but all of which are sexy. I really enjoyed the fact that this is a book wherein the leads begin a "casual" situationship... While also clarifying that he can't put it in. Because historical romance and the heroine caring about whether or not she gets pregnant.

(Do they fully succeed in the whole "not putting it in" thing? Well, perhaps for longer than they would have had this book come out 20 years ago.)

You get some hero masturbation (yes!) some dry humping, and... ladies and gentlemen... we have virgin hero! The sex isn't crazy, but it is hot, in and in large part because of how Delacour writes Eli's mindset. Poor fella. God bless him.

I wish I'd loved this, but I was kind of in the camp of "it didn't thrill me, it didn't make me mad, and I do see promise". I'd like to try something else from Faye Delacour. However, I do think we need to see more drama to back up the hype for the next release.

Meet the Supervisors

General Info

I like to think that the reason the USB Admins are recolors with number eyes is for organizational purposes, like a work uniform, so the Supervisors don't have that restriction since there aren't any non-USB Supervisors.

They do at least look like they could reasonably belong in their assigned universe, but that's mainly a side-effect of being designed alongside their MRUs.

They actually communicate with their MRUs like the Mario and Kirby USBs, but aren't parental figures for obvious reasons. They usually just see each other as either friends or coworkers.

Have more-or-less the same abilities as the Admins, with a few unique extras based on their designs.

Trinity

Looks like a fusion between the Oracle versions of Farore, Nayru and Din (because of course she would).

Can actually use the various spells, songs, and other techniques directly associated with those three.

Takes her position as The Oldest very seriously, which leads the others (Spreadsheet especially) to see her as a bit of a stuffy know-it-all.

May or may not have a crush on Tartarus. If anyone asks she'll firmly deny it.

Regards Director K with mild suspicion because she's sure she recognizes him from somewhere and it's setting off alarm bells.

More than a bit high-strung.

Apparently the character design agent saw how Frida reacts to anything that might possibly be a faerie and went "you know what would be really fucking funny?" So she looks like a faerie queen, tall and ethereal and just a bit unsettling.

This is effect is absolutely ruined by the thickest Brooklyn accent you've ever heard whenever she opens her mouth.

Trinity thinks Quazar is the Only Other Sane One. She is wrong.

When she finds out that Programs have night clubs she is going to become the Party Animal and Trinity's rose-tinted view of her is going to be absolutely shattered. Everyone In The Know is already making bets on when it'll happen.

Obviously a Fairy. And because of how Fairly Oddparents Fairies work, they can transform into whatever they want, whenever they want, without having any of the usual Code Compression difficulties every other Program has to deal with.

Easily the most chaotic and irisponsible of the First Five, partly on purpose and partly because That's Just How it be in Dimmsdale.

You know how I said that Supervisors don't have a parent/child dynamic with their MRUs? Spreadsheet's the exception, because the MRUs do retain the "SMGs start out as recolors" rule so those two are Literally Children and fairies looking after kids is this universe's Whole Deal. Taking care of 6 and 7 is the One Thing that they actually take seriously outside of dire emergencies.

Has made it their life's mission to get Trinity to actually relax and have fun. Mostly by messing with her via harmless pranks and being generally annoying.

Connectivity

Has a similar Cute Little Mascot design to Harmony, Zap, and any other Spirits that may get introduced.

Is the actual Sane One of the first batch of four, but usually sides with Spreadsheet on the grounds of feeling that Trinity's workaholic mindset isn't healthy.

Came with one of the Spirit Jewels that the actual Spirits bestow upon their Champions, but keeps it hidden because she isn't sure how anyone would react to her being able to bestow a piece of her power to someone. Has quite a bit of anxiety about this that she isn't willing to address.

When she and Alyssa interact it sometimes results in a Mom Friend Feedback Loop because they can each Tell that the other needs some love and nurturing and it sets off their maternal tendencies but they're not ready or willing to confront their own struggles (especially the Trust Issues) enough to be receptive to that.

When that doesn't happen they'll swap gossip about their respective coworkers, because every office is gonna have some piping hot Tea to spill and even if the IRL and Digital agents are considered equals they're obviously still physically separate so the gossip's gotta get from one side of the screen to the other somehow.

I never liked summer to that extent. Life is too active in summers. Or do I like both summer and winter equally? I was always confused regarding my favorite season. Sometimes I like winters, so right now, winter is my favorite season.

Winter is my favorite season. In winter, everything slows down; life is slow. We feel time in our bones. The chill of mid-December, frozen taps, not a drop of water in a free/liquid state. As a child, I loved snow-covered fields, that cold breeze which I felt on my red cold nose. Cold breezes partially paralyze the body, making it difficult to feel your own skin. As a child, I experienced that. Can I ever be able to experience that once again? Things that were annoying at that time seem beautiful now. Those power cuts, wet shoes and socks, cold.

I remember waiting for the snowfall for the whole month of November, listening to weather predictions about snowfall, and praying silently for snowfall. Adults don’t like snowfall; what might be the possible reason? Don’t know, maybe they have seen enough snowfall or they don’t want to be immobilized. But I loved it. Whenever it was precipitating, I used to pray, hoping it’s snowfall.

My mother used to wake me up in the morning and say, “Wake up now, it’s already too late, study, and look outside.” I used to peek from my bedroom window, clean mist for better visibility, and see everything covered in a white blanket. I used to live those moments. I wanted no one to walk in the garden so there wouldn’t be any footprint on the snow. I wanted the snow to be untouched; my sister used to walk on purpose just to annoy me. I still remember my watery eyes and how it felt when I saw those footprints. After that, we used to play in the garden.

I remember how excited I was to wear my black ‘Apex’ boots. I used to polish them and then go out in the snow. Sometimes we used to prepare snow ice cream. I was seven; I spent whole winters playing Ludo with my maternal aunt. There was positivity; now I realize how every situation was taken positively. In cold winter nights, power cuts were regular, and (6:00-10:00) power shutdown twice a week, so it was kinda irritating. But my maternal uncle used to say, “Yay, we can sleep, it’s so peaceful.” The sound of water falling on the ground, that “dip-dop” sound, was relaxing. Whenever there was a power cut during dinner, mamu used to say, “Wow, tonight we are going to have a candlelight dinner, how exciting.” These small things helped me build my mindset and helped me take things positively. My grandfather used to tell stories about ancient times he heard from his father. My grandmother used to tell stories, not to me actually, to my sister; she used to insist her to narrate stories. My grandmother had nice storytelling skills. I remember leaning on her shoulder and telling her, “Mummy vanu ven (Mummy, say something).” My grandfather used to teach us grammar, to which I never paid attention. I still remember that grammar book ‘RL Basor,’ of which the first few pages were torn. Life was good back then.

I remember running in a fog-covered road/field and pretending to disappear. Do I really want to disappear? Or did I want someone to find me? Hold me? Understand me. I remember blowing air from my mouth on a cold winter morning and pretending like I’m smoking. I want to travel back in time and run into thick fog once again and keep wondering there until I find myself.

All creatures get time to think about themselves. Bears hibernate; they store all the energy for busy summers. Should humans hibernate? Take a break for introspection? A complete break from society and busy life. How does a bear feel after hibernating for months? Does their perspective change? How do they see the world after such a long nap?

Let's take a deep breath... I think it's about time some fans got realistic and realize they have no control over Evans life. Some are acting very unhealthy with this whole thing. Having a celebrity crush is ok. I'm a fan of Evan but not of Haley (never have been) and it has nothing to do with their hookup, but because I don't find her interesting as a person/celebrity. I even happen to find her annoying sometimes, but I'm not gonna bash her. If we are to believe deuxmoi, they slept together and were spotted together again, so what? What can anyone do about it? Healthy jealousy is ok, but the toxicity by some has to stop. (Mostly talking about Twitter)

Let's keep a positive mindset and not become obsessive about the whole thing.

Time will tell how this will all turn out. Nothing is official yet. I gotta add that how some are immediately romanticizing this whole thing is a bit exaggerated. Saying that she's the one, that she's the real deal, that they will end up married- like relax, it's not even official yet. She seems like a sweet girl, but in the end, we don't know her as a person. Realize that nobody is perfect.

About the tarot readings and this is no disrespect to anyone: my advice is to not rely on them to much. I think some are panicking because it's not going the way they want it to be. I personally do not believe in readings. I think it can be fun to read them once in a while, but one should not assume that that is the only truth.

please stop sending me messages containing this type of ugly, woman-hating rhetoric and then adding ''but i'm sure haley is a sweet girl'' at the end of it to try and pretend you aren't tearing down a woman that you're seething over, only because she's sleeping with your celebrity crush. if you have criticism, make it reasonable. otherwise, all those asks are being deleted because i'm not going to allow this space to become a hate blog.

I didn't follow Kalafina closely so I might have miss something. But did Wakana ever put out her own statement regarding their disbandment? I only remember Keiko and Hikaru through FictionJunction website. Don't remember Wakana saying anything. This is one of the things that rub me the wrong way around their disbandment. Like why was that? Did Spacecraft not allow her to talk at all? This stuff made me a little annoyed with Wakana.

In the last couple of months I’ve received a bunch of similarly phrased asks on the topic of Kalafina's disbandment and Wakana's position in all of this and I’m pretty sure that all of them are from you? On the off chance that there is truly more than one of you out there who is this obsessed with such a trite topic, I am asking all of you, for the love of God, PLEASE stop sending these asks 🙏! I have no idea why some people just refuse to shut up about this?! I have replied to various questions in the same vein (1 | 2 | 3) and made sure to link to my EXTENSIVE coverage of the matter. I have also advised people repeatedly to check out the relevant tags. In this case that would be → #reply, #yuki kajiura and #space craft.

I know it takes time and dedication to go through all of my posts but if you are as interested as you pretend to be, it shouldn’t really be an issue. You have more than enough reading material to satisfy your curiosity!

A while back I decided to basically start ignoring these sort of questions. However, this particular message (especially that final part) is rubbing me the wrong way so I feel the need to write a response. As we all know, I am VERY protective of Wakana, Keiko and Hikaru. So when alleged fans start blaming and bashing Wakana for her role in this fucked up situation, I am getting low-key pissed.

Here’s my post where I shared all my thoughts regarding the “official disbandment announcement” and everyone’s reaction/lack of reaction to it. Even back then I was trying to tell people that it is incredibly disrespectful to point the finger at Wakana for not coming out with a big ol' nicely wrapped official statement on the matter. How do so-called fans have the audacity to blame her, to hate on her or to be annoyed with her actions??!! Anyone who has been following Wakana closely, KNOWS that she has the utmost love and respect for everything related to Kalafina. Why do you feel like you are owed an official statement? And why do you need one anyway? They are usually just full of empty platitudes...Wakana is indeed in a tricky position and she has insinuated in her first official solo FC interview, that there are certain matters which she simply cannot discuss openly and every level-headed person should be able to respect that.

If you wanna blame someone, blame Japanese society as a whole. This is the direct result of old men with outdated mindsets continuing to hold power and making decisions. Instead of trying to abolish that, everyone involved is just ignoring common sense and rolling with it. It’s a shame but that’s the reality🤷‍♀️
