Characters: Sugawara

Warnings: Mentions of an accident

Synopsis: Reader is in the theater club and Suga helps them run lines. When their love interest in said show suddenly gets into an accident Suga steps in.

Even though she was in the theatre club Y/N still had a good relationship with the Karasuno Volleyball Club, particularly the third years. She had known Suga and Daichi since first year because Suga always volunteered to help with the stage crew. It had become a little tradition at this point for Suga to go over lines with Y/N, they would end up at a coffee shop once the cast list got sent out and open the email together.

This year was no different. As soon as Y/N got the email they texted Suga and after school the two went to the local coffee shop. “I’m so nervous I don’t know if I can check.” They frowned at Suga and handed the phone to him.

He took the phone and patted them on the shoulder. “I’m sure it will be fine, you usually get in. There’s nothing to worry about but I’ll open it if you want me to.” He smiled at them and kept his hand on their shoulder. “See, there was no reason to panic. You even got the lead.” Y/N opened her eyes and smiled delightfully.

“I couldn’t have done it without your help as always. So we’re on for the usual Tuesday and Wednesday practice nights?”

“Of course, we can even practice more on the weekend this year because Kageyama is gonna be the main setter this year.” They noticed Suga get a little sad about this no matter if he was trying to cover it with a smile or not. They let it go though since it seemed like he didn’t want to talk about it.

It had been about a month since then and the two of you were still rehearsing together. Occasionally you would even help Suga practice with volleyball.

“Alright, this is the part you keep getting tripped up on. It’s ’I loved you like it killed me. I loved you so much I almost loved myself. Your love consumed me, it ate away ate me until there was nothing left to give.’ You keep messing up on the second part. It might help to think about if you’ve ever loved someone like this. Try it again you’ve got this Y/N!” They closed their eyes and took a deep breath.

The first thing that came to mind was loving Suga. They thought about all the times they’ve loved him and how they would keep loving him even if it meant he didn’t love them. “Alright I think I’ve got it now.” You moved closer to Suga and placed your hands on his face looking into his eyes. You started from the beginning to get into the moment. “My dear, how I’ve longed to hear your voice again. It’s been months and I still only thought of the love we once shared.”

“Do you think of it fondly?” Suga replied tilting his face into the palm of your hand and kissing it. He placed his own hand over yours and turned to look at you again.

“No. I do not think of it fondly, or at least as fondly as I wish. When I think of it I think of how I loved you like it killed me.I loved you so much I almost loved myself. Your love consumed me, it ate away ate me until there was nothing left to give.” Their hand goes to put a piece of hair behind Suga’s ear that had fallen. Their eyes were welling with tears.

Suga was left breathless, how could they get into a role so easily? Everytime he watched them perform it left him breathless. He cleared his throat and looked back down at the script. “I wish you had told me.”

“Told you how you ignoring me was eating away at me?”

“Yes. I wish I would’ve told you how I loved you like breathing.” Suga frowned and closed the script. “I think that’s where we have to stop, I need to get home in time for dinner.”

“Of course. Thank you for all your help Suga!” They smiled and helped him back up as they wiped their tears from their eyes. Even though they always do this Y/N hoped this hadn’t made things awkward with Suga. Their heart thumping erratically in their chest definitely wasn’t helping their anxiety.

“I’ll see you tomorrow Y/N. At the dress rehearsal.” Suga smiled and put his shoes on and left Y/N’s house.

It was lunch time the next day. And Y/N just so happened to have some sweets in their bag. Totally not because they wanted to thank Suga for helping them get the line down yesterday. They found him sitting with Daichi and Asahi and sat down across from Suga. “Suga! Daichi! Asahi! I’m so excited. It’s almost show day.” They pulled their lunch and snacks they made last night from their bag. “Here Suga. It’s a thank you for yesterday.”

Daichi smiled and gave Suga a look while Asahi just patted him on the shoulder. “Thank you Y/N. I hope you like the set we designed. We put a lot of work into it.”

“Of course I’ll like it. The sets you design are always beautiful Suga.” You both got notifications on your phone after that in the ‘R/N Play GC’

Love interest: Sorry but I can’t do the show anymore guys. I got into an accident and have to be in the hospital for three weeks 🤒

Manager: Oh no! Get well soon!!!! <3

Y/N: Yeah! Get better soon

Suga: ^^

Everyone else: ^^^

Manager: While we wish you a safe and speedy recovery we need a new person for the lead.

Suga: I can do it. I’ve been helping Y/N with their lines and have the script memorized.

Manager: Since no one else has stepped forward you’re welcome to Sugawara. Make sure you’re at the dress rehearsal today.

Y/N could feel their face getting warm at having to do half the things with Suga that they…their character would have to do with his. They shook their head to clear their thoughts and smiled up at them again. “Well, I guess I’ll definitely see you for sure tonight Mr. Love interest.” With that they got up and started heading for class as Daichi and Asahi hounded Suga for answers.

Dress rehearsal was a success and tonight was finally the night of the long awaited R/N Play. Suga and Y/N barely had time to interact before the show as they were off getting ready for the evening.

The lights in the theater dimmed and the music started playing. Y/N’s character walked out, a bouquet of flowers in hand. The main couple was ina relationship as the play was about a second chance romance. Suga and Y/N had chemistry and looked so in love that the audience cried when it came to their breakup scene.

“I can’t do this anymore.” Y/N’s character said head dropping to the ground, rain sounds playing as a bouquet of dead flowers laid on the ground.

“What do you mean?” Suga tried moving closer to them but they put their hand up.

“Stop. I can’t keep pretending everything is okay. I still love you, I think I always will but I can’t keep pretending like you love me.” They fell to the ground and started crying.

Suga also had tears welling in his eyes and kneeled down next to them. “I wish I could have loved you more.” He got back up and walked back off stage. There was not a dry eye in the house. They had witnessed you grow apart in ‘real time’. No more breaks in your day for each other. No more time for anything as the two characters went on with their lives separate from each other now.

It ended happily which was a relief to the audience. Even some of the people who had watched the rehearsals found themselves relieved that it ended the same. Y/N and Suga had so much chemistry that it made it feel more real than with the previous love interest.

When Y/N got back to their dressing room they sighed and sat down in their chair beginning to get out of costume when their was a knock of their door.

“Suga? What are you doing here?” There was a hand behind his back obviously hiding something. “What are you hiding back there?” He smiled and came into the room closing the door behind him.

He pulled the flowers from behind his back and closed his eyes, “Y/N I’ve liked you for a long time, and kissing you on stage made me realize that i can’t keep standing by without telling you how I feel.” Y/N put their hand over their mouth before smiling and taking the flowers from him.

“Suga I like you too dumby. How could I not?”

Johzenji is absolutely frozen most of the show because of A :the jokes are amazing and B: the are crying

Seijoh is just blown away because iwaizumi has an amazing voice and they also look really hot in that costume

Ushijima was the costume designer, understudy, choreographer and director... they have no regrets

yachi was the only person on stage wearing actual pants,semi,terushima and shibayamawore the normal costume, iwaizumi made ushijima change his to have shorts same with Tanaka

They met up with their teams after the show but they were still in costume even the band,so imagine being shiratorizawa , after this emotional rollercoaster of a show instead of going back to the dorms your confronted with semi,who is still in costume and ushijima is A: still wearing a headset and backstage clothes and B: is bouncing up and down with after show excitement

Tanaka wore a wig during the proformance so it took a little bit of time to recognize them

ok there are far too many of those to fit on this one ship chart no matter how i move the text around or resize SO. i am just going to list em all herehkgsldjflks below the cut

kage/hina undoubtedly top left. like as far as u can possibly go there. yea. kuro/ken and iwa/oi close behind them.

most of the common ships honestly fit in that quadrant imo? with a lot of them (esp like, karasuno team duo ships) falling more close to neutral. additionally atsu/kita and atsu/hina compel me and make sense.

for the other quadrant - imo doesn't make sense/doesn't compel me would probably be kuro/tsuki and saku/atsu most.

i don't really care for ships involving ushiwaka or tendou, and i tend to monoship just about everyone in the cast otherwise. not much for the team dad captain pairings etc.

Chapter 1: The Cries of a Forgotten Love

It was a bright and sunny day, the kind that made everything seem possible. Miya Shoyo, the younger brother of Atsumu and Osamu Miya, was feeling particularly optimistic as he made his way to practice with his volleyball team. Little did he know that today would mark the beginning of a tumultuous journey that would test his resilience and the strength of his heart.

As Shoyo arrived at the gym, he couldn't help but notice the ever-present figure of Kageyama Tobio, his ex-boyfriend. Their relationship had ended months ago, but Kageyama couldn't seem to accept that it was over. He relentlessly pursued Shoyo, trying to win back his affections, despite Shoyo's heart being set on someone else.

Throughout practice, Kageyama would constantly hover around Shoyo, trying to engage him in conversations and reminiscing about their past together. But Shoyo was adamant in moving forward, letting go of the past and embracing the possibilities of a new love.

Chapter 2: A Melody of Clarity

One evening, as the sun set and cast a golden glow over the city, Shoyo found himself alone in a karaoke room, seeking solace in the lyrics of a song that spoke volumes of his feelings. The song was none other than "Gives You Hell" by The All-American Rejects

this only caught the attention of a few people including Shoyo's twin brothers and his best friends Kenma and suna and Kei shoyo continued with a sad and somewhat sadistic smile

Shoyo's thoughts 💭No really how bad is to have your dreams crushed and you have to work a normal 9 to 5 and watch you ex have the time of his life

He knew Kageyama was there and frankly he didn't care he wanted him to hear what he was singing

Tobio couldn't help but look at shoyo and reminised when shoyo was his and they were together making plans

As shoyo Continued to sing the song the catchy melody, something resonated deep within his soul, reflecting his frustration he was frustrated with himself for letting himself be played by tobio but he is more so frustrated at Tobio for his actions and if anything he is more than determined to move on

Shirabu was Observing him he could see how fustrated he was getting he walked behind shoyo and wrapped his arms round him to ground him and he looked and Karasuno and Kageyama and sang

Shirabu:🎶Now, you'll never see what you've done to him You can take back your memories, they're no good to himAnd here's all your lies,...

as he said that a video of Kageyama played and some of what karasuno did played shocking everyone shirabu continued

As Shoyo sang passionately, the lyrics filled the room and appeared to take physical form, surrounding him.

Little did he know that Kageyama and his toxic teammates had somehow stumbled upon this moment. Kageyama listened attentively, finally beginning to understand the pain he had caused Shoyo with his relentless pursuit.

Chapter 3: A Heart Set on Another

Kageyama stood there, frozen in place, as Shoyo’s heartfelt confession played out before him. In the midst of Shoyo's emotional performance and soul-baring lyrics, Shoyo turned his gaze towards Shirabu Kenjiro, a fellow volleyball player and friend. With each word, he couldn't help but notice the spark in Shoyo's eyes, a spark that only love could ignite.

Overwhelmed by his emotions, Shoyo stepped off the makeshift stage and approached Shirabu who was going to their table too see everyone, he turned eyes widened in surprise. The room fell silent, the tension palpable. Shoyo took a deep breath before taking Shirabu’s hands in his own, his voice steady yet full of emotion.

"Shirabu-san, I... I’ve always admired you, watched you from afar. And now... now my heart is set on you. I want to go to your school, be by your side, and create new memories with you," Shoyo confessed, his voice unwavering.

Chapter 4: A New Beginning

Shirabu's eyes filled with a mixture of shock, joy, and confusion. He had never expected such a confession, especially under these circumstances. But the sincerity in Shoyo's voice couldn't be denied. As the tense atmosphere slowly dissipated, Shirabu smiled softly and replied, "Shoyo, I've admired you too. Let's take this chance, together." The Miya Twins hugged their brother and said Congrats Little Bro

It was time to let go and allow Shoyo to find his happiness. With a heavy heart, Kageyama walked away, his head held low but with a newfound understanding.

And so, with the echoes of a forgotten love fading away, Shoyo and Shirabu embarked on a journey, hand in hand, towards a future filled with hope, passion, and the promise of new beginnings.

31 Days of Haikyuu is a yearly event I would do during the 1st of December to the 31th, instead of posting fics that are Christmas themed, I will be posting random scenarios from a topic or prompt given by other people/myself.

Introduction. Welcome everyone to the 31 Days of Haikyuu Masterlist! just to let you know, this idea was made originally by me so I'm not sure if there are different meanings with this event.

a/n: okay everyone, i wrote this at 2AM two days ago and absolutely despise it (i didn't even proofread this), but with encouragement from my lovely moots, is posting this for your consumption :> i am so sorry for the blatant mischaracterization of kags here, and hope that maybe you can live your fun royal fantasies in this little...fic?

amongst the chatter of the royalty, you secretly snuck into the posh ballroom, a dagger hidden stealthily in the satchel you kept expertly at your side. in the fair kingdom of karasuno, the monarchs were the type who garnered respect through their minuscule gestures of kindness and the subtle smiles they threw those of minor classes, hoping desperately to garner the public’s support. it was charming the way the council disguised their true intentions, their calculated smiles and public appearances merely masking the truth at hand.

prince kageyama tobio was a menace. effective yet ruthless, every rule he penned was one that placed yet again, a tighter noose on those with a lower status. all it did was benefit those with enough gold to feed themselves day in and out without a day in the fields.

gold and the promise of feeding your family was what brought you to the ballroom tonight.

everywhere you turned, the lavish masks of the aristocracy provided a sense of mystery, and the delectable collection of food at every table made your jaw drop.

money that the monarchy could be using for the betterment of the kingdom was being used for this?

you adjusted your clothes, attempting desperately to blend in with the crowd, when a set of azure eyes met yours, a cold—albeit curious gaze meeting yours.

instinctively, your hand migrated to where your dagger hid as the man walked over to you, his steps broad and regal as he finally stood before you.

“is this your first time amongst this crowd?” he asked, voice deep and smooth amongst the loud chatter of the duchesses who eyed him. “you do not seem to possess an air of royalty…or elegance, which is a common trait of our guests.”

“good sir, my name on the guest list signifies that my presence is of importance.” you felt a slight edge of annoyance in how his posture refused to slouch and how he maintained an air of unshakable pride to him. “and who might you be to question this?”

“prince kageyama tobio.” he scowled, “you bring an air of something mysterious. i intend to acquaint myself with it.”

so this was your target. the cruel prince, the one who brought grief to everyone you knew and loved with just a simple word.

why was he so attractive? underneath the golden cast lights of the ballroom’s chandeliers, it accentuated his dark hair and tall frame to look like something straight out of a dream, the light shining across his cheekbones.

“my prince,” you bowed, internally seething at the position you were placed in. “i, your humble subject, requests to know why you grace me with your presence so suddenly.”

raising from your deep-set bow, you weren’t prepared for the way his cheeks flushed red behind the sheer gossamer of his mask, and how his eyes flitted over your face almost shyly.

“may i offer you my first dance?” he sputtered, all traces of the confident boy gone as you regarded him.

“it’d be my honor,” you nodded, hand moving cautiously to your satchel…and even closer to the dagger.

he gently brought your hands to his lips, carefully brushing the knuckles as his dark blue eyes met yours once again. the spark in the action was instantaneous, and you felt a trail of fire from where his lips brushed.

gentle guidance from him had you standing in the center of the vast ballroom as you gently placed your hands atop his shoulder and waist while he secured his on yours. it was a moment of quiet acknowledgment between you as the piano started it’s gentle melody, and his foot took the first step towards yours.

you matched his advances with a sidestep of your own until you were waltzing, a steady grip on his shoulder as he led the two of you around the room like it was his personal garden. his eyes were trained on yours the entire time, and a faint smile was visible on your lips when you had almost stepped on his foot.

“the policies,” you began, enjoying the feeling of his gentle twirl of you, “they’re very harsh on the peasants.”

“how so?” he asked, face setting into something expressionless. “they’re beneficial. how can it be straining?”

“the peasants are the ones who grow the crops, your majesty,” you explained, your grip on his shoulder tightening marginally. “due to all the lavish parties that your council so adamantly demands on hosting, they have nothing to eat.”

at your words, something cracked in the hard facade he held, his retorts falling silent against your nod of assurance.

“it shall be immediately worked upon.” he whispered, leaning slightly closer to you. “i hadn’t a clue of the situation. it had been shielded from me. the council shall pay for this.”

“no need!” you refused, pacing your steps to the increasing tempo of the violin. “the council shall experience with their own eyes the grief they caused. that should suffice.”

prince kageyama nodded approvingly at this statement as he dipped you at the falling notes of the song, your satchel falling and exposing the dagger as he gazed into your eyes.

betrayal. it was the sinking feeling of regret that pooled in your gut at his gaze, that told you that you had to run.

“you lied.” he scowled, all softness gone from his face.

“i was never going to do it.” you argued, panic rushing through your veins. “your majesty, i—“

“i don’t want to hear it.” he choked out. “guards! arrest them!”

you immediately sprinted to the window of the ballroom, slipping gracefully over the balcony and sliding down the banister before heading out into the open arms of night.

they never found you. prince kageyama had them search, even after he had adjusted the laws. your family was finally fed, and although you didn’t have gold, you had at least secured their health.

you never expected to see him again.

it had been a simple stroll through what was dubbed “the crows' woods” on a quest for some exotic berries. it was merely a way for you to gain some solace from the endless expectations—and nightmares stemming from that fateful meeting in the ballroom that bothered you.

you had gone to pluck some berries when the tell-tale sounds of hooves beating on the dirt road of the woods met your ears. you turned around quickly, only to find the prince and his horse.

his galloping ceased when he saw you there, dark blue eyes taking in your whole figure and never averting his gaze as if you’d disappear if he looked away.

“you…” was all he managed to get out as he dismounted his horse. “i thought the guards would have captured you by now.”

a familiar sense of anxiety washed over you in waves as you hesitantly backed away, your back hitting a tree as kageyama continued to stroll towards you, cornering you.

you were close now, faces only mere inches apart as he placed an arm at your side to prevent your escape.

you were truly trapped.

“your majesty, i’ve been in plain sight.” you whispered, slightly surprised at the red that bloomed across his cheeks. “you did find me after all.”

“i changed the laws.” he mumbled. “you showed me what was wrong and i saw it. i fixed it. now tell me why you wanted to kill me.”

“it was for gold,” you admitted, heart speeding up at the way his gaze was pinned on yours. “my family and i are humble farmers. we were out of food and out of money. i had no options.”

“gold is the least of your priorities now.” he said, tone holding a fierce conviction. “you are the perfect candidate to be my royal consort. the council will cease to exist if you are the one at my side.”

you felt your face heat up at the proclamation, your heart stuttering out of time. “your majesty, are you implying…?”

“do me the honor of marrying me.” he added, his face serious. “i’ve been dreaming to have you. it’d be an honor to rule at your side.”

“then rule with you i shall,” you exhaled, only for your lips to be captured by his in a slow, yet passionate kiss. it was his declaration to you, of how many nights he spent, wondering if you were alright in his vast kingdom. he memorized your name and the way it felt rolling off his tongue. the kiss encompassed all he wanted from you and more.

when you finally pulled apart, kageyama’s smile was the brightest source of light. “don’t try to kill me again, alright?”

“of course my prince,” you giggled, “i would never dream of it.”

hinata can’t actually jump that high, he’s he’s actually held up by ropes and such

nobody can actually play volleyball, so it just contains laughter filling the set for the majority of the day.

some takes weren't supposed originally in the plot, for example, in this scene, the ball was actually supposed to go over the net. but it was entertaining and created a new obstacle, so it was kept.

ushijima is actually one of the most energetic people on set. it was surprising he got this role.

aone is actually quite talkative, ushijima and him get along well.

kiyoko was actually going to be one of the directors, but was accidentally caught on set, and so was given a role as a manager for karasuno.

adding onto the previous, nishinoya and tanaka act the same as they do in the show.

the karasuno, nekoma and fukurodani cast hang out together once and a while, and after season 2 was finished and recorded they all went out to eat together.

kenma and kurro never met before the show, they instantly became friends when they met on set.

the social accounts of all the actors mostly have photos of them on set. their most popular is bokuto doing an overhand serve over the net as akaashi taking the photo. he looked very happy.

a Christmas special was recorded, but then discarded due to technical difficulties. as well as a beach episode and an sports day episode.

during the training camp, the whole cast actually slept at the school.

Desc: I practice witchcraft and didn’t really feel like there are enough of these types of spiritual/witchy headcanons, so I made some. Please take into consideration that this is my first time doing this, and enjoy!

Really accepting. 

Seriously though, it’s suspicious how you tell him you practice witchcraft and he’s like “oh yeah, cool, can I get back to studying.”

Once he’s done though, he starts asking questions. So many questions. 

And when you bring up kitchen witchcraft, he just lights up

Okay but like, if you two don’t make way too much bread together then what, pray tell, are you doing? 

Also, he is freakishly good at rune casting. You cannot tell me I am wrong. 

Your deities (if you work with them) love him. 

And he’d ask about them too. He’s probably not too good at communicating with spirits alone, though. 

You guys would do ritual baths, though. 

He’s so aesthetic though, and when he’s looking at witchy aesthetics and sees it, he just goes, “Y/n. Here. now.” 

Would not so subtly say that he wanted to learn how to make one. 

He ends up learning witchcraft too because he keeps doing little parts of it, and you have to teach him a few things so that he doesn’t mess something up, and then he ends up full on practicing it. 

This is how the team finds out. They’ve seen you two hanging out, so Noya and Tanaka send Hinata as a spy. They bribed him with meat buns. 

He ends up hiding behind a tree while ya’ll are walking around in a forest, picking flowers and talking witchcraft. 

Hinata ends up screaming some type of gibberish and dragging you guys back to meet the team. 

They are so confused. 

He’s so calm about it though, just like, “This is my s/o, y/n, now back to what we were talking about.” You guys end up talking about your full moon ritual right in front of the team. 

All hell breaks loose when they question what you guys are talking about and you just say, “Witchcraft.” 

You two are officially the power couple no one messes with. 

Like,, one witch is dangerous if pissed off. But there are two witches. And they are dating. Go against one of you guys, and suddenly they have four deities after them. 

And the entire volleyball team.

Asahi

You have to kinda edge it on

Mention all the things you do kinda casually

Like seeing a crystal and listing off its uses 

And after a while be like “oh yeah, you know all my hobbies and collections. I kinda practice witchcraft.” 

You’d have to debunk everything he knows about it

Then he’d get it

He’d be kinda scared that you can curse 

But would see everything else you can do and accept it

Okay, but hear me out here: anti-anxiety jars

He would learn more about witchcraft because he knows it can be dangerous and would low-key ask for one.

Would definitely meditate with you. 

The team finds out when he slips up. 

You go to pick him up from the gym, and Suga goes, “Hey Asahi, try not to stress out too much about the game tomorrow.” 

He responds with, “Don’t worry, I’m meditating with y/n  today and they’re going to do a spell to help me.”

Everyone asks him questions. You just walk in like, “Yo, Asahi, ready to go?” 

“Woah Asahi, how d'you get a s/o that hot?” 

Chaos erupts and you end up having to drag Asahi out of there, and it’s then that everyone realizes they still don’t have answers.

So excited. 

“Can you do a taroT reading?” he cannot pronounce tarot for the life of him

“Do you have a pointy hat?”

“Can I ride your broom?”

You definitely have to explain everything the movies got wrong though. 

Will ask you to do a spell to make Tsukishima nicer. 

I will fight you on that. 

Low key shows you off to everyone. 

And is like “my s/o is a witch” 

If no one would believe him, you’d probably do something

Imagine the team being like “you can’t be a witch, witchcraft isn’t real, then the lights going out in the gym.”

He’d try to learn it at some point or another. 

And would end up failing miserably. 

Probably has to call you up to catch the demon he summoned. 

Why did he summon a demon? You’ll never know. 

When you get there though. . . there’s wax on everything. 

And I mean e v e r y t h i n g. 

Somehow it’s on the ceiling. It’s all over the curtains. It got in his hair. 

Would watch in awe as you fix everything.

He pissed off the spirit and his ass hurt for a week after that-

Tanaka

The first time you tell him, he just laughs it off. 

“You’re literally the nicest person ever y/n, there’s no way you could be a witch.”

Until he buys you coffee one day and walks to your house to surprise you. 

He walks in and starts noticing the incense everywhere. 

And your excessive plant collection, and tea collection, and crystal collection-

He tries to bring you your coffee and mayhap walks in while you’re in the middle of a spell. 

And then a spirit gets loose in the house and you can’t find any of your jewelry for a week. 

You end up having to manifest it back after a while. 

Still can’t find that earring though. . . 

Would definitely believe you after that. 

If you work for deities, it is over for this boy. 

“wAIT A MINUTE,, YOU WORK WITH GODS?!?!?” 

“Umm. . . yeah?” 

Is so proud of you and is impressed by literally everything. 

Will cry if you make him anything

You go to introduce yourself to the team with him one time and everyone already knows you. 

Kinda creepy, but it’s just because Tanaka will not stop talking about you. 

They notice how much better he plays while you’re at practice 

They beg you to start coming to games. And when you do and they completely dominate Alba Josiah, you’re officially required to attend all games ever. 

Not like you have any problem with it-

They do kinda wonder why Oikawa’s serve did nothing though-

One day though, you are talking to Tanaka about how the new moon is just as important as the full moon but no one will acknowledge it and he’s aggressively agreeing. 

Noya sneaks up with the intention of scaring both of you, and then you just hear from behind you, “Hey y/n,, why do you care so much about the moon?” 

Suddenly the wind starts going crazy and you shout in an annoyed voice, “Cut it out.” 

The wind stops and you just smile at him, “Witchcraft.” 

This boy literally drags you to the gym with Tanaka trailing behind ya’ll. 

He gets there, stops, and just goes, “Y/n’s a witch.”

Tsukishima

This dude could go two ways. 

Laughing and telling you you’re crazy,, or bringing out a list of people to hex. 

I feel like he’d be good at tarot reading and find a way to make the cards even more insulting. 

“The cards said it.” Becomes his number one excuse. 

Would remind you of stuff really subtly so he could help you without seeming too nice. 

Something like, “Hey, what do you do for the full moon again?” around two days before so you wouldn’t get that panic of having no clue what you’re going to do for it. 

The team only finds out about you due to the second-years stalking him after they see him being nice to you and then they bring you to practice the next day to cause chaos. 

Tsukki would be so confused but ends up just going with it because ya'll have a date that night and might as well go there together instead of meeting up again later. 

He would bring you dried flowers and the team would be like ‘wtf Tsukishima you suck at this’.

And then they get so confused when you just respond with “oh, thanks, I actually just ran out of lavender yesterday.” 

Everyone would get so confused when you bring up spellwork and just start talking about it like it’s nothing. 

You end up casually dropping the fact that you practice witchcraft like you’re talking about the weather. 

They mention to you that they don’t believe you, but then a volleyball hits Kageyama in the back of the head. Everyone put the volleyballs away. They are across the gym. Everyone is standing here. Yet there is a volleyball right behind him. You laugh. Tsukki smirks. Everyone is afraid. 

The two of you just walk out of there. 

Leaving everyone shooketh. 

No one ever teases you. Or Tsukishima while you’re around. You have become a being of fear.

Kageyama

Huh?

This boy is so confused. 

“You mean like magic?”

You knew this would happen, so you didn’t even tell him. 

But then he walked in on you surrounded by candles with a book open putting stuff in a jar. 

You only see him after you finish the spell and the moment of ‘oh no’ panic is ✨immaculate✨

Eventually, he’s okay. He’s completely clueless but is just cool with it. 

Brings you random stuff like “could you use this?” 

It’ll end up being something that you really needed or had been trying to manifest

*insert realization that your deities are sending you signs through him*

Probably isn’t too good with most parts of witchcraft, but once you explain numerology, he points every time he sees it. 

The team finds out because Kageyama was bragging talking to Hinata about how he has the best s/o but told him not to tell anyone

He told everyone

The pressure everyone puts on him end up with him dragging you to practice one day

You just snap, “I was in the middle of a spell, why did you drag me all the way out here?” oblivious to the scene around you. 

3. 2. 1. Chaos. 

Everyone just starts screaming bloody murder. ‘Kageyama, you never told me your s/o was that hot’ ‘What do they mean ‘spell’?’ ‘Wait, y/n?’ ‘Who’s that?’ 

“Hi,” you almost snarl, “I’m y/n, Tobio’s s/o, and I’m going to get back to my spell before the Dybbuk haunting my best friend does any more damage.”

“What do you mean ‘spell’,” Suga asks, “and what’s a Dybbuk?”

“I practice witchcraft, and that’s not important.”

You walk away muttering something about warding. 

“Definitely Kageyama’s s/o.” -the entire Karasuno team

Hinata

Shooketh

“WHAAAAA?!?!? Y/n, you’re being haunted? Are you possessed? Are you-”

You have to calm him down and explain everything.

Once he gets it, he brags to everyone he knows. His teachers, his team, the other teams, his parents, his sister- everyone.

After enough literally just a day of him begging, you finally have to meet the team.

“So. . . this is your s/o?” “Yup!”

Tsukki starts laughing, “I mean, calling them a witch is a little rude, don’t you think?”

“HAAAAAAA??!?!!? No, no, no, they practice witchcraft and do magick and-”

Tsukki laughs even harder. “I knew you were stupid, but delusional is-”

“Hey Tsukishima, there are cheap headphones at the corner store, the left ear of your’s aren’t working and that always sucks.”

“How did you-”

“Witchcraft.”

. . . “oh-”

He can never keep the attention span necessary to do anything involving witchcraft, but cannot not watch you do everything witchy.

He will literally sit like an excited child in the corner while you do your full moon ritual.

If you invite him to any witchy holiday he will be stoked and eat all the bread

Way too excited, but keeps eating your stuff. “I thought you said it was a luck spell?” 

“I DID,, AFTER SAYING IT CONTAINED ESSENTIAL OILS!!!” 

“They’re essential to my health?” 

“N O -”

Literally so supportive through the whole thing, do not throw him away-

Yamaguchi

He is really confused

Witchcraft? You mean like magic? You must be confused, come here, do you have a fever?

It takes him a while to wrap his head around it. 

Once he does though, he’s really curious. “Hey y/n, what are the properties of an apple?” 

He’s another one who’s a sucker for kitchen witchcraft. He’s just like ‘I have a s/o who can make amazing food and make that amazing food help make my spikes more accurate.’

He’s mesmerized by everything you do, but when you offer to teach him anything, he’s too scared he’ll mess up and just says no. 

He’s still kinda normalized it and accepted it as a part of your relationship. 

It just becomes a normal part of his life, and he grows more comfortable with it, but still doesn’t practice it. 

He just feels like it’s you’re thing and has no interest in practicing it, still loves watching you though-

You always involve him in you’re celebrations that don’t involve spells, like this year’s Beltane. 

So you invite him to the park for a Beltane picnic where you both can do some fun activities to celebrate. 

He accepts and is so excited (he never gets over his excitement to be around you). 

So you are both eating and talking witchy stuff (Yamaguchi loves learning about it). 

You’re just talking like, “Yeah! I seriously don’t get how no one knows that the veil’s thinnest on Beltane as well as Samhain-”

“Saw- what now?” You hear from behind you. 

You turn around to see Tanaka and Noya eating ice cream and very curious about their junior’s peculiar ‘friend’.

Yamaguchi has a panic moment, but you just whisper a quick, “It’s fine, they were bound to find out eventually. Can I tell them?” 

He nods and you turn to the chaotic duo. “Hello, I’m y/n, and I’m Yamaguchi’s s/o. Nice to meet you, Noya and Tanaka.”

“You know our names!” Tanaka muses. “Yup,” you deadpan. “How much does our kohai talk about us?” Noya asks, “I know we’re special, but this is another level.”

“Not much,” Yama replies, “They just know things.” Noya and Tanaka smirking: “What type of things?” 

Yama.exe has stopped working. You sigh, “C’mon Tadashi, you couldn’t celebrate with me last Samhain, so you’ve never seen me do energy work when the veil’s this thin.” He immediately perks up, but so do the Duo, yet again. Here’s a demonstration, you smirk. 

You start moving your hands, and the breeze picks up a little, not that the Duo would notice anything but you’re weird hand movements from where they’re standing. They’re about to laugh when the trees all around you start moving along with your movements. 

Tanaka and Noya leave without another word. 

You continue you’re date with him as normal, but make a point of showing up to practice to make sure you and Tadashi tell the team before the Duo can. 

“Hey, Babe!” Yama calls upon your entry. Noya and Tanaka who were previously shouting at the top of their lungs for who knows why go quiet- something not unnoticed by Daichi. “Do you two know them?”

“Yup, we had an encounter yesterday.” 

“It was kinda weird how it was raining yesterday though, it was supposed to be clear.”

“Oh, my bad,” you say, to which Tsukishima laughs. “What? Are you delusional or something?” Wordlessly, you start moving your fingers in a circular motion. No one notices, but they do notice how there’s a violent wind circling the court even though all the doors and windows are closed. 

“Or something,” You deadpan, “Let’s go, Yama.” 

His teammates look back to him, walking to you and lightly giggling, “Sure, y/n, you can stop it now, though.”

“Fine,” you huff and the wind stops immediately.

Oikawa Toru, renowned pretty boy of Aoba Johsai, captain of the volleyball team is known for several things: his fluffy brown hair, charming smile, charismatic personality and killer volleyball skills. 

Less known for his hard work ethic, love for aliens, and crush on one of the Karasuno’s volleyball manager. 

It was a Tuesday, Iwaizumi had texted the captain reminding him of a practice match with Karasuno, where Tobio Kageyama was currently setter. All day Oikawa had been looking forward to this practice match, where he could see Kageyama again to see if Oikawa is still the better setter. After all, he’s been working so hard to make sure he can beat Kageyama. So despite being placed on a break by his coach, Oikawa was sure nothing could stop him from at least playing a little bit in the match. 

When Oikawa arrived, he stood at the door, watching the match, in which Karasuno was currently leading. Annoyed, he did a quick survey of the team. Sure, Karasuno got some tall players and their raven-haired and blonde managers are just as beautiful as rumors but thats it. Karasuno was just another volleyball team. 

Oikawa suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder. He whirled around to find a black-haired girl politely smile up at him. Oikawa’s breath caught in his throat. 

“Excuse me, do you mind letting me through? I’m one of Karasuno’s manager and I’m running a little late” (Y/N) smiled apologetically at tall boy blocking the door. 

“Oh yes, of course of course, sorry about that” Oikawa quickly moved out the way, watching the beautiful manager make her way over to her team. He didn’t miss the way she first glanced around her team before shyly blowing a kiss at the tall blond middle blocker, who pretended to catch it, making her giggle. 

Oikawa was surprised by the disappointment he felt in his heart. He was constantly surrounded by his fan girls, many of whom are pretty, so what was this new feeling? Why was he disappointed to see this beautiful girl, a stranger no less, have a boyfriend? 

The match went by quickly, though still playing at his best, Oikawa’s silly self rivalry with Kageyama took a backseat, as he kept glancing over at her. He saw the way she bit her lips in anticipation when it was Karasuno’s turn to attack, the worry in her eyes when Tsukishima held his fingers, re-adjusting the tape on them, and the smile of relief when he reassured her he was fine. 

After the game, as all were cleaning up, he felt his eyes being drawn over to her again and couldn’t help but listen in on their conversation. He saw how Tsukishima came over to (Y/N), one hand slightly ruffling her hair, the other clutching his waterbottle, asking “hey (Y/n) why were you late today hm?” 

“Sorry babe, Hinata forgot something in class so I had to go back to get it for him”, (Y/N) answered, standing on her tiptoes to kiss him. 

Tsukishima playfully yelled out to Hinata, “hey tangerine head, stop forgetting things and making my girlfriend late to watch me”. 

Oikawa watched as (Y/N) giggled, before playfully hitting her boyfriend, asking him not to be mean to Hinata, as the tiny middle blocker jumped around apologizing to (Y/N). 

Oikawa watched as Tsukishima tenderly pick up (Y/N)’s hand and led her out of the gym, following the rest of the Karasuno. 

“Crappykawa if you keep looking your eyes might fall out”, the familiar sound of his best friend’s voice called out, followed by the snickers of the other Seijoh four. 

Suddenly an eruption of “Oikawa senpai!!!” rang out as girly giggles echoed throughout the gym. Oikawa turned his attention to his fan girls, trying to stop his thoughts from wandering back to Karasuno’s manager, who is clearly in a happy relationship. 

A Few Weeks Later

“Oikawa please stop bouncing around, why the heck are you so twitchy today” Makki called out, trying to get his captain to stop moving around so much. 

“I heard we have a new manager and she used to be from Karasuno” Oikawa sang out loud, “i’m just glad we have a manager after Sana-chan had to leave, or else the team would be a mess!” 

Makki pouted “no need to remind me about Sana, I’m happy for a new manager too”, who’s ex-girlfriend is the previous manager. 

The door suddenly opened and there (Y/N) stood, as beautiful, if not more, as Oikawa remembered. The gym suddenly fell silent, as the rest of the team stood gaping at their new manager. 

A slow blush rose to her cheeks, her eyes shyly cast down for a slight second, before clearing her throat. “Hi boys! My name is (Y/N) and i’ll be your new manager!” She smiled brightly and suddenly everyone was encouraged to approach her. 

Kindaichi bounced up excitedly to her “Hi (Y/N) senpai, thanks for being our manager!” The other boys nodded in agreement. 

The captain stepped forward and couldn’t help the blush rising to his cheeks as Y/N focused her eyes on him. “Has her eyes always been this big, her lashes so long? She’s cute, she’s super cute, oh but she has a boyfriend argh” Oikawa thought to himself, before clearing his throat realizing he stepped forward without saying anything for the past ten seconds. 

After introducing her to the team and making sure she’s settled in, the captain returned to the team for practice, glancing over at her frequently to make sure she’s okay. 

While the other players only noticed her beauty and friendly personality, Oikawa saw a lot more, the way she stared off into space for the tiniest of moments, eyes suddenly glassy before blinking and taking a deep breath or the way she seemed to force herself to smile at nothing. Oikawa frowned, wondering what was going on. 

A few weeks passed, Y/N became more and more comfortable with the team and the team more comfortable with her. Oikawa and Y/N also became much closer friends. It was easy for the two of them to get along, both of them with easy going and optimistic personalities.

Oikawa found it weird that Y/N never mentioned Tsukishima, until one day after school. Y/N, Oikawa and the rest of the Seijoh four decided to stop by Starbucks after school for a quick pick-me-up after a long, tiring day before heading back for practice. 

Oikawa watched Y/N furrowed her brows in frustration. 

“Argh I don’t know what to choose! Mattsun what would you rather have ? matcha latte or strawberry frapp?” Y/N asked 

Matsukawa wrinkled his nose in disgust “ew neither”. 

The rest of the boys laughed as Y/N hit Mattsun out of frustration, laughters quickly drowning out Mattsun’s protest “Y/N why are you hitting me for your inability to choose!!” 

As sudden as the laughter began, it died as the boys looked at the clear look of shock on your face. Oikawa following your eyes saw the tall blonde middle blocker hand-in-hand with another girl (who was wayyy not as cute as Y/N ,Oikawa thought to himself). 

He saw the way Tsukishima’s shock mirrored Y/N’s, before his girlfriend, with a slight smirk, pulled the tall player down to herself to give him a quick kiss. 

Oikawa whipped his head to look at Y/N’s, who now with slight tears around her eyes, quickly wiped them and said to the captain “just get me a matcha latte please, i’ll..um...wait for you guys outside”. Putting on a brave smile, Y/N walked past Tsukishima and Yuki before heading outside. 

Oikawa looked at the rest of his friends in shock, before running out after Y/N, leaving the rest of the Seijoh boys to throw nasty looks at Tsukishima and Yuki. 

The pretty setter found Y/N in the alley outside the coffee shop wiping tears from her eyes. As soon as Y/N sees Oikawa, she threw him a feeble smile, nose red from crying. Without thinking, Oikawa threw his arms around her and drew her close. 

“He cheated on me, I don’t know why. I’m sorry” Y/N whispered against his chest. 

“Why didn’t you tell me? Why are you sorry? It’s not your fault” Oikawa replied. 

The two stood there in a tight embrace, one heart broken, one heart breaking for the one broken.

“I like you Y/N” Oikawa murmured, unable to stop himself from confessing. 

Y/N stiffened at his confession, trying to pull away but the setter pulled her tighter. 

“It’s okay, I’m not expecting anything. I just want you to know”.

Y/N looked up at him, eyes wet with tears. “I’m sorry Toru, but i’m afraid.”

Oikawa smiled “Don’t worry I’m here for you, I’ll wait for you for as long as you need”. 

Bandaids are no good for heartache, but Oikawa Toru doesn’t want to be your bandaid, he wants to be your heart.

karasuno boys spending christmas with you 🎄

(a/n): ik the gif isn’t hq but look how cute it is (○｀ 3′○). also i’m aware that i wrote a rather western-washed version of Christmas (despite the characters in question not being western) but as someone of an asian ethnicity, imo western traditions surrounding Christmas are a lot more..festive (?) which i hope that isn’t offensive considering that Christmas was popularised by the west. so, in short, sorry the traditions aren’t those that are celebrated in japan (or asia) but i just found it i had a lot more inspiration to write it this way. :) perhaps i’ll make a part 2 with aoba johsai or nekoma celebrating Christmas with japanese traditions

Shōyō Hinata

you spend christmas at his house bc he wants to be with his sister on the day

and any sibling that you live with, he insists that they stay over too 

but if you don’t have any younger siblings then y’all just spend the whole day spoiling natsu

hinata absolutely adores how well you get on with his sister, it just makes him so happy seeing his two favourite people having fun together 

although, it did make him a bitter when he asked natsu if she likes the doll he bought her and she said,

“Yeah, thank you. But look at the Furby (L/N) got me! It’s pink and so fluffy, feel it! And it talks, it’s eyes move and-” Then she continues to rave on about how amazing your gift was.

honestly, y’all spend the whole day pampering natsu; making sure she has the best christmas possible

y’all made gingerbread cookies with her, helped her built a snowman (or rather, a snowwoman because she insisted that it was a lady), snowangels, opening presents, christmas crackers, watching movies - the whole shabang.

probably the only time in the day were she was sad was at 10PM when hinata insisted that she goes to bed

natsu looked at you to back her up in her argument that she should be allowed to stay up late on christmas but you kinda just stood there like 🧍‍♀️/🧍‍♂️

not wanting to get involved in their family drama (unproblematic liege 😍😩)

eventually though, natsu did go to bed and as soon as she was sound asleep, you and hinata spent the night cuddling while watching more christmas movies as you were both too tired to do anything else

you ended up falling asleep in his arms and it was a christmas miracle that his arm didn’t get pins and needles like it usually did while cuddling for a long period of time

Tobio Kageyama 

i’m a firm believer that he doesn’t celebrate christmas

not that he doesn’t like the concept, it’s just doesn’t understand the hype

plus - other than going to nationals - there isn’t much he wants and from what he knows, santa can’t make that happen

but as soon as you come over to his house on christmas day with a tub filled with cookies shaped and decorated like volleyballs, suddenly christmas is his favourite holiday

he invites you inside to eat the cookies with him and you notice that he’s watching a volleyball match on the TV

you giggle at how passionate he is about about the sport and offer to cast a Christmas movie from your phone onto the TV

he says yes since this is probably the 10th time he’s rewatched the same match 

you scroll through the list of christmas movies available on Netflix, “Wanna watch Arthur Christmas?”

“No.”

“How about the Grinch?”

“Eh, no.”

“Ooh! What about the Nativity? I love that movie-”

“No thanks.”

So you ended up watching Frozen and Frozen 2 (on a different streaming site) because Kageyama didn’t like any of the Christmas movies available on Netflix

You figured that Frozen kinda counted as a Christmas movie because..there was snow :) 

anyway, you already knew Kageyama tolerated Disney Movies so Frozen was your best bet

and as it turns out, he was oddly engaged by the movie which gave you an opening to slip into his arms, stifling an evil snicker the whole time

as we all know, when Kageyama is into something he is into it.

so whenever the climax of the movie comes up (or any part with high suspense) you feel him squeeze you slightly and tense up 

AND IT IS THE MOST ADORABLE THING PERIODT 🥺😩

so yeah your christmas with him is not overly Praise The Lord but it very fun and cute since it mostly consists of Disney movies

(also Barbie: A Christmas Carol because it gave you both overwhelming nostalgia since he has a big sister who i now headcanon to be a barbie movie addict ✋)

Kei Tsukishima 

the biggest grinch™

mostly bc every year he drops hints to both his mum and brother that he wants new headphones but every year he still gets a snowglobe from his mum and something dinosaur related from his brother

even though his brother is aware that he is ‘too old for that shit’ now 

but Akiteru just loves seeing his brother’s pissed off face whenever he opens his gift (which is a similar size to a headphones box) to find something like a Jurassic Park Lego set

anyway, backstory over - in short, Tsukishima very much dislikes Christmas

So when you appear at his door with a gift, he slams the door closed

“Tsukishima!” You roar as that was quite rude - even for Tsukishima - since it was snowing and you were clearly freezing, “Let me in! I’m freezing my tits off out here!”

Eventually, he did let you in and gave you a hot chocolate as an apology but as soon as you tried to hand him the give, he refused to take it

“No.”

“Why not?” You whined, clearly upset that he wouldn’t take the gift you went through so much effort to get your hands on.

“Because I didn’t get you anything.”

You rolled your eyes, “You got me this hot chocolate - now, take it. It’s seriously not much.”

Upon eyeing the wrapped box in your hand, he realised it was about 9x9″ - the same size as the tub you usually deliver food in, meaning that the gift was probably some sweet treats

“Alright.” He sighed, accepting he gift as he figured that he could easily pay you back by making Christmas cookies with you or something

He hummed, delicately unwrapping the gift and his heart skipped a beat as he noticed the present inside was in a black box rather than a clear tub which you normally gave homemade treats in

nevertheless, he persevered in unwrapping the box 

when he finally finished, his heart dropped yet he couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with joy

“Wireless headphones.” He muttered to himself, doing everything in his power to resist the smile tugging on the corner of his lips but it was challenging, to say the least

“Yeah!” You chirped, “Don’t worry about the price though, I got them on a Black Friday sale.” You lied, aware that it was usually considered rude to talk about the price of a gift you’ve given but knowing if you didn’t say anything, Tsukishima would assume you paid full price (which you did smh) and immediately empty his bank account in order to pay you back

You could almost envision the situation already; “Would you like it in cash or cheque?”

“Neither, Kei!” 

“You seriously got me branded headphones?” Non-imaginary Tsukishima asked, unable to pry his eyes off the long-awaited gift in his hands

“Y-Yeah.” You stuttered at his unusually sinister voice. “I wanted to buy you noise-cancelling headphones and Google said these were the best ones available that weren’t selling for millions of y--”

but that’s not to say that he’s not going to get you anything in return as subtly through the day he was gathering info on what to get you 

by the end of it, he had a whole list but unfortunately - after looking at his bank account - he realised that the only thing he could afford was an easy-bake oven (┬┬﹏┬┬)

y’all spent Christmas at your house because Yamaguchi was absolutely entranced by your massive Christmas tree

he also slept over because you both wanted experience the Christmas morning buzz together 

also because your parents were working on Christmas day and Yamaguchi didn’t want you to be alone 🥺

(he didn’t tell you that though as he didn’t want you to think that he felt bad for you or anything)

after you both completed you morning routines, you raced downstairs (quite literally raced; you won.) to open the presents

the milk and cookies you both hand left out for ‘Santa’ was gone because your parents chugged the milk and scarfed the cookies before they left for work

“Open the presents I got you first!” You urged Yamaguchi, pointing to the two presents wrapped in Sanrio wrapping paper

 Yamaguchi did so; sitting on the floor cross-legged to open the larger, box-shaped gift first

“Candy!” He chirped with a smile, gently shifting through the selection of sweets you got him, his grin stretching as he did so and once he was finished, it was beaming ear-to-ear. “You know me so well, thank you so much, (L/N).” 

You giggled, a light blush crossing your features at the praise - then motioning to the second, smaller, thinner gift.

Yamaguchi accidently tore the wrapping paper off to reveal basic, charcoal face masks.

You quickly interjected to explain, “You said that you were embarrassed about how the animal-themed face masks your mum bought you were too childish and that they just made your skin more oily so bought you those; less embarrassing and supposedly good for oily skin.”

Yamaguchi’s heart fluttered upon hearing how much attention you paid during his random rants, “Thank you, babe!” He enthused, hugging the mask to his chest.

After that, you opened the gift he bought you and were over the moon when you realised that it was a box full of adorable stationary 

“I noticed how you kept complaining about your pens running out of ink during class and..yeah..I hope you like it..”

You obviously loved it and expressed that by giving him a big bear hug and many kisses (づ￣ 3￣)づ (*≧︶≦))

By then, it was around Midday so you had time to play in the snow for a bit before Yamaguchi had to go home to spend the rest of Christmas with his family

but of course he came back on Boxing Day to binge watch movies and cuddle with you 🥰

Daichi Sawamura

okay; I am going to say this and you aren’t going to argue with me bc I know that I’m right:

if you have any younger siblings or cousins staying in your house for Christmas (and I mean younger like 5 or less) and the kid isn’t a little shit

daichi (with your assistance) will dress up as Santa and you will dress up as an elf to surprise the child with a visit 

daichi would be like ‘ho ho ho!’ and you’d be like ‘shut up, santa, you fatass.’ 

and the kid would be like ✪ ω ✪

y’all would take pictures and shit before santa dips 🚶‍♂️🛷

after that, you both would head back to his place to celebrate a kid-free christmas 

you don’t open gifts because you both mutually agreed not to get anything for each other this year since you had ‘grown out of presents’ (tsk).

but you did get a RingFit Adventure from one for your relatives for Christmas so you and Daichi spend an hour or two playing that 

it’s surprisingly taxing though so you’re both puffed afterwards

so you decided to make spaghetti for yourself and Daichi and a Christmas miracle occurred..he got off of his ass to help you cook 🤩

usually he’d hide his fear off fucking up under toxic masculinity but today he actually let you teach him how to make food and he was a natural chef tbh

however, his habit of grabbing your ass or holding your lower back wasn’t especially helpful while he had tomato sauce all over his hands

you changed into a different pair of bottoms as the spaghetti cooled down

then, a second Christmas miracle occurred

Daichi gave you both permission to eat in the living room, on the couch, so y’all could watch a movie or something as you ate

every other day of the year, daichi would have to be killed before he let anybody eat in the living room - forget on his new couch 

but today was a special so he let it slide

originally, the plan was to watch a Christmas movie but then you noticed that a new episode of y’alls favourite show was out - House Hunters - so you just watched that instead 

hey, it made you both happy so why not?

especially with daichi’s running commentary which you outwardly expressed annoyance to but internally loved

“That house is so ugly, next.”

“Why’s their budget so low? May as well just buy a caravan.”

SUGA IS DOMESTIC LIKE DAICHI BUT MAKE IT ❄ FESTIVE❄

y’all bake christmas cookies together, exchanges small gifts, bake carrot cake, watch The Polar Express, bake pudding, kiss under the mistletoe, bake-- yeah, there was a lot of baking

get ready to work out twice as much and start dieting if you don’t want to develop an illness due to the amount of sugar you consumed

to be honest, Suga was kinda lost for things to do on the actual day of Christmas bc y’all were so hyped preparing for it so he had no idea how to top that

I mean, you both went on romantic, late night car drives to buy a tree

cute couple trips to the store to purchase decorations 

planning out and putting the decorations around the house (and with both of your keen eyes for design, the house ends up looking gorgeous ofc)

you ornamented the tree in his living room but it was so tall that he couldn’t reach the very tip to put the final decoration on top

so you hopped onto his shoulders and stuck the star on top with a smile

but he wasn’t done with you yet, he rushed around the house with you on his shoulders while you clung onto his hair as if your life depended on it 

he did most of the festivities with you before Christmas but he saved one special one for the day

“(Y/N), let’s bake something.” 

You sighed, shooting him a weary smile, “Suga, we’ve been baking all day.”

“Just one last thing! It’s not even baking actually, more like assembling.”

You quirked an eyebrow at his statement, “Hm? What is it?”

“Let’s make our dream houses with gingerbread!”

Of course you agreed. Not just because he is the cutest thing you’ve ever laid your eyes on but also since it sounded rather fun

“What are those?” You pointed to the weird rectangular designs on the roof of his house

“Solar panels.” He hummed, elegantly icing the sides of his house, “I want my future house run on that energy.”

“Anyway, what’ve you got on your house?” Finishing off the final swirl on his door, he turned to look at your gingerbread home and deadpanned 

A sheepish grin formed on your lips as you noticed his blank expression towards your ‘dream home’ which has walls garnished with golden, edible glitter and sugar paper sanrio characters on the roof along with many other extremely unconventional things 

“Hey,” you shrugged, “Let me have my dreams.”

“Of course,” Suga agreed, his usual sweet smile returning, “Although, in an ideal world, I thought we’d end up living together and starting a family. However, I don’t think we can do that if you planning on putting a horse head on our front door.”

“IT WAS JUST LYING THERE, KŌSHI! IF ANYTHING IT’S YOUR FAULT FOR GIVING ME ACCESS TO A MARZIPAN HORSE!”

“I DIDN’T THINK THAT YOU’D DECAPITATE IT, (Y/N)! I THOUGHT YOU’D USE IT FOR A STABLE OR FARM OR SOMETHING!”

you both spent christmas day in your respective households, promising each other that you’d spend boxing day together 

until around 7PM when you had to come over to his house bc he called you, extremely puzzled at the fact that random mutuals from school (and the whole volleyball team) were on his instagram page, facebook, snapchat and any/every other social media platform wishing him a happy birthday

“I don’t get it.” He spoke through the phone, confusion and anxiety apparent in his voice, “My birthday isn’t for another six days. Why do they think it is today? Is this a joke?” 

“Uh, can I come over? I’d love to see you.” 

“Um, sure.” He replied, even more confused that you didn’t answer his question and instead asking one yourself

you spent the rest of the day with him, trying your very best to distract him from social media by doing various activities 

you both baked, watched movies, played board games (he’s a beast at battleships) then you moved on to other games like charades - basically every bs excuse you could come up with to get him to stay away from his phone

but that’s not to say you didn’t enjoy every second of it bc you did

he is so cute like whenever you are doing an action which he can’t interpret, his automatic guess is ‘are my beautiful gf (Y/N) (L/N) who i love very much? (= ❛ ᴗ ❛=)’

PRECIOUS 💓 

and then you are just like, ‘yes, i am, baby. but i am also optimum prime. your turn.’

anyway, by the end of the day there was no way you were able to prevent him from finding out about the joke now

so you just decided to tell him - figuring that it’d be better for him to hear it from you rather than someone else

“See.. y’know how jesus was allegedly born on christmas day? well, the joke is that..you kinda look like what people assume jesus would’ve looked like..”

Asahi had to do a double-take at what you just said, “Th-they..think I look like jesus?”

“yeah.”

Ryūnosuke Tanaka

you’re both broke af so you spend Christmas day pretending you are a rich couple

you slept over at his house too so you could start early in the morning and by that I mean 10:30AM

firstly, you and tanaka flick through an Argos catalogue (which you found on the ground, so there were a few mud stains on it 😶) to select the gift(s) you were going to buy for your ‘children’

but really it was just you and him going through it and circling all the toys y’all wanted as kids but couldn’t afford/didn’t get

“I super badly wanted one of those kiddie monster trucks that you could control with a remote as a child so my son is going to need one of those.” Tanaka said, circling the monster truck with a marker

“Yes, of course. And I asked for Monster High dolls every year as a kid but my parents said they were everything god hates so let’s buy that because we stan satan in this house, apparently .”

“Of course, of course.” He said in his best ‘rich person’ voice which was actually just an english accent

After resenting your parents for around an hour, you both moved onto the next activity of your rich person Christmas which included reading your horoscope in an english accent

that only lasted a few minutes though because both of you couldn’t be bothered to read

you also planned to look at the stock market (just like all rich people do on christmas day, obvs) but it was so boring

you took a glance then just went ‘okay, bye.’

next, you had caviar - just like rich people eat for every meal of the day, i think.

except it was actually black pop rocks  

“ah, yes. scrumptious.” “the flavour is immaculate.” 

then, as dawn drew close, you and tanaka preformed your final rich person activity 

no, it wasn’t being rude to minimum wage workers

no, it wasn’t being ungrateful

no, it wasn’t exploiting the working class under capitalism

no, it wasn’t being generally stuck-up and cocky

instead, it was going to the grocery shop and buying everything rather than shoplifting :)

“what should we get, babe?” you asked tanaka, in awe at how many different brands of toilet paper were on the shelves. “Have you ever noticed how spoiled we are for choice when it comes to toilet paper?”

“uh, no.” he replied in reference to the toilet paper question, “Hm, how about some gingerbread men or something?”

his suggestion was just met by a blank stare and silence

“JUST KIDDING! WE’RE TOTALLY BUYING BOOZE!”

“Hell yeah!” 

luckily, because tanaka looked a lot older than 17 and also since the cashier was too tired to check his ID, you both managed to buy the drinks without getting caught

“Merry Christmas, Ryū.” You hummed, fidgeting with his hand which was interlocked with yours as you walked through a rather prestigious neighbourhood and admired all the extravagant christmas lights

“Merry Christmas, (Y/N). Love you.”

Yū Nishinoya 

you and noya spent the whole day in his backyard and since it was a white christmas, you were able to spend the 90% playing in the snow

at first, you both went outside with the intention of making snowangels and taking cute couple photos in the snow 

but the weather was just so inviting that you had to stay for a little longer even when you did finish taking pictures; so you made the ‘ultimate’ snowman  

by that, it was just the biggest snowman y’all could make without it falling apart with stones for eyes, spiking out twigs for hair and an empty Monster Energy can for a nose 

once you had completed the snowman and basked in it’s glory for a moment, you went to head inside - but then you felt something hit your back

you turned around to see noya snickering, a mischievous grin on his face which you couldn’t stand

so what started out as him playfully throwing a snowball at your back, eventually turned into a full-on snowball battle to the death

there were snow forts, piles of snow ammunition, mini snow-warriors guarding the edges of your fort, a snow-princess which you were trying to steal from each other’s fort to win (basically like capture the flag but colder..) and a few brunch bars in the middle of the battle field for snack breaks 

it was all going smoothly until Noya ran up to your base, obviously with the intention to steal your princess 

“stay away from her, you fiend!” You yelled, jumping into an offensive stance - your neighbours must hate you bc of all the noise you and Noya made.

Noya screaming his battle cry as he rushed towards your fort, batista bombing you to the ground before you had a chance to attack him with a snowball

now that you were out of the equation, he scurried over to your princess which was perches on a little snow podium you made for her

he grabbed it, lifting it above his head like a trophy and letting out a loud victory cry “I win!”

he then turned to you and laughed upon noticing that you had your face buried into the snow in shame, “You have been defeated, (L/N)! And the great Rolling Thunder prospers!” 

“That’s a stupid nickname.” You groaned, outstretching your arms to allow him to pick you up, “Now take me inside, I’m tired.”

“Alright, babe.” He spoke softly, seemingly coming down from his adrenaline high. 

He strolled towards you, scooping you up into his arms - off the snow - and carrying you inside

unbeknownst to him, you had fallen asleep as he held you and once he put you down on the couch and noticed- i- my man almost died of happiness

“Oh my god, (Y/N)! You’re so fucking cute! (❤´艸｀❤)” he hollered, peppering your face in kisses

“Shhh..” you hushed Noya, sticking your bottom lip out to form a pout 

Noya nodded understandingly before hopping onto the couch beside you and snuggling up

What is a callback? What is a tenor? What is a monologue?  

Suga’ s Google search history looked like a chapter straight out of Musicals for Dummies. In preparation for callbacks, he figured he could actually try and understand what he was getting himself into.  

Callbacks came and Suga felt like a bull in a china shop, one wrong move and he would destroy the entire show and the roles weren’t even announced. That was until the following Wednesday.

Suga blinked, turning to see Y/N pushing throw the crowd, TJ behind her. He moved and let her pass, watching as her eyes darted across the list. He smiled softly, watching as hers broke into a wide smile.  

“I did it I got the lead! And TJ! You got Taylor!” The girls squealed and hugged each other tightly.  

Y/N turned back to the cast list and frowned. She swiftly turned around and glared at the clumped-up group of volleyball boys.  

“If any of you dare to make a mockery of this show, I will have no shame in making the rest of your time at Karasuno miserable. Got it?”  

She smiled at the now gawking boys and turned to Suga.  “Here’s my number. We’ll need to practice lines and dance numbers together.” She scribbled her number on a page of her assignment notebook, tore it out and handed it to him. “I’ll see you at rehearsal.”  

“U-uh yeah,” Suga stuttered, blinking as she pushed back out of the crowd and down the hallway, TJ following while laughing.  

“You’re going to scare them off you know,” Taylor laughed, looping her arm over Y/N’s shoulder.  

“I know,” Y/N smirked.
