What are your thoughts on the bad future in Cursed Child where Hermione basically becomes Snape as a teacher just because she didn't get with Ron?

Oh, I'd written a Quora answer about that! Let me get it-

In the alternated universe in Cursed Child, Hermione became a Snape-like professor because she lost Ron. Is it just bad writing because she'd never be like that? Why?

Au contraire, I think it’s the only bit of characterization in this garbage play that makes sense.

And I’m not saying that because I love Ron, I’m saying that because I know Hermione rather well - I’ve been a very Hermioneish person in my life.

I’ve been that girl who wanted to answer every question I knew the answer to, because I liked to show off what I knew, I liked it when the teacher validated me, I liked to be seen as clever by the adults. The adults were the most important people, after all they were the ones who handed out the punishments. Therefore it was important that I endear myself to the adults considering that they were the only people who could protect me from the other kids’ bullying.

I was bullied. A lot. As a result, I hated my schoolmates. I despised them with all my being. I only trusted the adults and a select few fellow kids who didn’t bully me. My philosophy? “The adults are always right. I’m always right, unless the adults say otherwise. My friends are always right, unless the adults or I say otherwise. Everyone else is stupid and useless.”

Notice a pattern?

It’s quite easy really. The more I was bullied, the tighter I shut myself out. Every new act of bullying was only vindicating me. The world is made of idiots, idiots and more idiots. There’s nothing out there but idiots, and they prey on the smart people like me.

When Hermione made friends with Harry and Ron, thankfully, they stopped her from leaping into misanthropy entirely. They grounded her, gave her something to look forward to other than school. They made her realize that people who don’t care for school aren’t necessarily complete dumbasses who’ll never achieve anything with their lives. They brought some humanity to her. Some much-needed emotion and empathy.

They got her away from her feeling of superiority and made her accept that she wasn’t perfect, something that is incredibly important considering that being perfect is impossible.

Okay, so, we know how Hermione reacted when Ron dated Lavender Brown, right?

No, I’m not talking about the birds, I’m talking about after that. After she threw her hissy fit, she went on to bully Ron for months on end.

“Hi, Parvati!” said Hermione, ignoring Ron and Lavender completely. “Are you going to Slughorn’s party tonight?” “No invite,” said Parvati gloomily. “I’d love to go, though, it sounds like it’s going to be really good… You’re going, aren’t you?” “Yes, I’m meeting Cormac at eight, and we’re -” There was a noise like a plunger being withdrawn from a blocked sink and Ron surfaced. Hermione acted as though she had not seen or heard anything. “- we’re going up to the party together.” “Cormac?” said Parvati. “Cormac McLaggen, you mean?” “That’s right,” said Hermione sweetly. “The one who almost” - she put a great deal of emphasis on the word - “became Gryffindor Keeper.” “Are you going out with him, then?” asked Parvati, wide-eyed. “Oh - yes - didn’t you know?” said Hermione, with a most un-Hermione-ish giggle. “No!” said Parvati, looking positively agog at this piece of gossip. “Wow, you like your Quidditch players, don’t you? First Krum, then McLaggen…” “I like really good Quidditch players,” Hermione corrected her, still smiling. “Well, see you… Got to go and get ready for the party…”

And

“How did you do?” asked Ron, hurrying toward Harry. “I think I felt something the last time I tried - a kind of tingling in my feet.” “I expect your trainers are too small, Won-Won,” said a voice behind them, and Hermione stalked past, smirking.

You know how many pages there are between these two happenings? Seventy. 70!! In-universe, it goes from December to freaking March!

And by being away from Ron, Hermione also reduces the time she spends with Harry. Because Harry won’t seek Hermione out, it’s always Hermione who will come see him - and only if she has something to tell him.

So, without Ron, Hermione would consequentially drift away from Harry. Without Ron to bicker with, without Ron to act as a buffer between her controlling tendencies and Harry’s rebellious nature, Hermione would close herself off and ignore other people.

Now, as for why she’s a She-Snape when it comes to students?

Well duh! Have you seen Hermione?

Ron, at the next table, wasn’t having much more luck. “Wingardium Leviosa!” he shouted, waving his long arms like a windmill. “You’re saying it wrong.” Harry heard Hermione snap. “It’s Wing-gar-dium Levi-o-sa, make the ‘gar’ nice and long.”

She loudly points out Ron’s failure, getting everyone’s attention and making him feel humiliated, because she was so sure she knew better than him. That she happens to perform better than him right afterwards just makes Ron feel even worse.

She wasn’t nice, she wasn’t friendly, she wasn’t helpful. She shot him down by snapping at him and only then did she try to help him, but she was already “the aggressor” in Ron’s mind. Of course he wasn’t going to react nicely to anything she’d have to say afterwards!

“All right – I only came in here because people outside are behaving very childishly, racing up and down the corridors,” said Hermione in a sniffly voice. “And you’ve got dirt on your nose, by the way, did you know?”

Note that here, this is Harry’s narration. Harry thinks of Hermione’s voice as “sniffly”. It’s about on par with Draco’s “sneering” in terms of positive first impressions.

And look at that! “people outside are behaving very childishly”, that’s an 11 years old speaking! She’s just as much of a kid as her peers yet she already has an overinflated sense of her own maturity. *sighs* Believe me, I know from experience that this can only end in tears.

And it’s what would make her miserable should she become a teacher.

Without Harry and Ron with her to remind her that she’s human and faillible, Hermione would ignore other people’s needs as well as her own.

We already see that she can be somewhat gentle to people like Neville, maybe because Neville is kind of the equivalent of a “special needs” kid in the Wizarding World, but with other students like Harry and Ron, whom she assumes are just dumb or not trying hard enough? She’s harsh. Snappish. She can’t understand how they don’t understand stuff that to her is so easy!

Now take Harry and Ron and multiply them by 10. And put Hermione in charge of them all.

She’s gonna go insane in a couple weeks.

A few years and she’ll have lost any sort of enjoyment she may have gotten from passing on her knowledge.

Hermione is not a good pedagogue, like the books show us multiple times - she has an easy time learning because she can memorize her books, but not all students are like this. When someone doesn’t understand what she understands, she makes a snippy remark, act as though they should know and make them feel dumb and in the process snuff out their interest for what she had to say.

Hermione Granger would be a complete nightmare of a teacher, because she has no patience and has a very “if I can do it, so can you” mentality, and she also tends to assume the worst in others. She’s not suited to a role that requires her to interact with people on a daily basis (also why she would make a terrible Minister for Magic).

(Personal headcanons about my best girls)

Lily is the mom friend TM. She's super protective of all of them and is constantly the voice of reason in the group.

She and Dorcas are the most responsible and usually need to prevent Mary and Marlene (and occasionally Alice) from doing dumb shit that will land them in detention

Although she can be a bit strict, she's not a complete saint and loves to tease her friends whenever possible

Marlene's the head of the rebellious department. You can count on her to get herself into trouble at least once a week

Since both she and Dorcas are quidditch players, they're always chatting about international players, new strategies, and the idiots (ahem James and Sirius) they have to deal with on the gryff team

She's a party animal and is often the person behind all the gryffindor house parties thrown after quidditch matches

Somehow has a super-liver. Alcohol does not affect her at all.

Mary is a muggleborn and was always a little self-conscious about it

However, her resilience broke her out of that soon enough

She's the Hogwarts "popular girl". Constantly up to date on the most recent muggle fashions she's always commenting on her friends outfits and giving advice. Basically everyone in gryffindor if not the whole school agrees that she's a fashion icon especially since in canon wizards can't dress like muggles for shit

She's also the most photogenic one of the group

Such an extrovert. Part of the reason why she and Marlene get along so well

Her laugh is the most contagious thing you've ever heard. Its a full on cackle and can be heard across hallways.

Her family is South-East Asian and they immigrated to England when Mary was really young. (Her father is English though, hence the traditionally English last name)

Her family always finds a way to smuggle some traditionally South-East Asian food into her trunk whenever she's returning from the Christmas or summer breaks

This girl is so so gay and super proud of it

She had a little crush on Marlene sometime during 2nd and 3rd year but grew out of it

Is now happily dating Emmeline Vance in Ravenclaw

Dorcas is Black

She was born and raised in England but her grandmother lives in France so she learned the language at a young age

She rants in French whenever she gets super pissed at something

She comes from a long line of purebloods but not from any of the conceited families

She's by no means a "goody-two-shoes" but she doesn't like the spotlight and is extremely logical about things.

Can be a little shy and quiet but whenever she is looking out for her friends, she can and will get aggressive

Never gets drunk and always looks out for the rest of her friend group when they do.

Trying to peer pressure her is like trying to kick down a brick wall; it just ain't happening. Because of this, she is usually sitting quietly somewhere in a corner reading a book at house parties but she truly doesn't mind, shes really quite the introvert.

Even though shes super sweet, she can be intimidating because of her tall and muscly physique and has a resting bitch face that can kill.

She's bi and although she was a little hesitant about coming out at first, she's out and happy now. Still a single pringle though

She is an athlete in every sense of the word. She constantly reprimands Marlene on all the alcohol she consumes at parties and Lily for her sweet tooth and Mary for her bad smoking habit. She never yells at Alice because Alice is an angel and doesn't do dumb shit that is bad for her health

She's a super early bird and wakes up at like 5 in the morning to train for quidditch (she's the best beater gryffindor's had in ages)

Much to Marlene "the night owls" dismay, she's extremely loud in the morning and proceeds to wake everyone in her dorm up along with her

This girls got muscles. All the time she spends swinging that beaters bat around has really built her biceps. Can crush the gryff guys in an arm wrestle and on the pitch any day

Hardcore quidditch fan and often gets into quidditch debates with Marlene and James.

Alice is a cupcake in human form. Sweet, adorable, and usually styles her cute pixie cut like the frosting on top.

Shes always doing thoughtful things for her friends.

Particularly skilled in hair-color-changing charms so her hair is always a different color but she usually favors a platinum blonde or warm brunette (both compliment her honey brown eyes nicely)

Is regularly tugged into all the shenanigans Mary and Marlene get into and spends the whole time complaining about how they will get caught. However, if you get her even a little tipsy she can be quite impulsive and loose.

She has the outward appearance of a sweet girl because of her fashion taste, quiet smile, and soft/high pitched voice but can be quite the little devil at times. (Something really mischievous can hide behind that angel smile).

for my main: i am a huge ass nerd in case you did not notice that already & i get way too emotional about several fandoms. i am the biggest potterhead since primary school & i truly believe that i am a gryffindor (no one can ever change my mind), so i thought i'd be funny to call myself the heir of gryffindor (refering to the heir of slytherin which is the nickname voldemort gave himself). that's why my main is theheirofgryffindor'sblog.

I got Tumblr because a friend told me to get it. But this side blog I started because I discovered football tumblr during the euros, which I really was not aware of existing, and was like yess!! finally i can talk about football without annoying the hell out of somebody (because literally none of my friends like football & my family knows nothing about it - except for maybe die eintracht due to loyalty to out hometown).

it's leon jumping on his fellow teammates. it's great <3 no greater reason behind it.

i think it suits the ✨aesthetic✨ of the blog. also it refers to the emotional mess you are experiencing as a football fan. in the end we'll be alright. and also in life, i think, as bad as it gets sometimes , we'll be alright eventually. so I thought that might be a nice reminder for all of you, but also for me personally <3

There was no doubt in your mind that Katie Bell could throw a party. Streamers were everywhere, the iconic red and gold of your best friends’ house were present but so were oranges and yellows, and you even think you saw a corner full of pink. You giggled as you watched Lee poke a balloon until it popped, the inebriated boy falling from the couch he was standing on with the shock of his toy self destructing before his eyes. 

Fred helped him up with a dazzling grin and a “Watch yourself mate, next time you topple over like that you might turn my birthday into your deathday,” 

You let their conversation bleed into the background noise of all the cheerful fifth years who were dancing about and mingling. You sipped at your drink and wrinkled your nose at it. You hadn’t even finished your first cup of firewhisky and you doubted you would. 

Drinking was a part of every party in Gryffindor, and you didn’t mind the way it made you feel warm, didn’t hate the way it made your shoulders sag in relaxation. But you absolutely detested the taste. It was worse than drinking any potion Madam Pomfrey shoved down your throat after a nasty fall during a quidditch game or a prank gone terribly wrong. 

“Not enjoying yourself?” Angie teased as you scowled into your cup. 

“This is amazing, Katie should be proud of herself,” You said instead, handing her your half filled drink which she happily took and knocked back. Angelina beamed at you, her eyes sparkling and bright. No one loved a party like she did.

“No! Is she really?” You giggled, going to follow Angie and see for yourself the state your friend was in but two sets of hands grabbed one arm each and you were pulled back. 

“Sorry Ang-” Fred apologized. 

“We need to borrow her,” George explained. 

Angelina just rolled her eyes as the corner of her lips tugged up, grabbing Lee by the arm to show him Katie and maybe get some help in dragging her up to her dorm room. 

“Where are we headed?” You whispered as you ducked your head through the hole in the wall, the Fat Lady muttering sleepy protests and you apologized gently to her- knowing it was well past midnight. 

“Outside-” 

“-want some air,” 

You tsked at them but linked your arms with theirs as George took the lead in your chain, moving you all towards the passage that would lead you out of the castle and near the black lake. “Leaving your own party boys? For shame,” You teased a bit louder as you took the last few steps from the cold stone passage and into the chill night air. 

Fred just shrugged but grinned, plopping down into the dewed grass, a content smile on his face and a flush to his cheeks from a long night of drinking, smiling, and laughing with his friends and much of the gryffindors in your year. 

“Just want to spend some time with our favorite person,” George answered more honestly, squeezing your hand and tugging you down into the grass too so you were shoulder to shoulder between each boy, hands linked. Fred was soon to follow in interlacing his fingers with yours.

You found in the passing years that the twins were affectionate with everyone, they loved being near the ones they loved and you found it only more endearing as time went on. You also discovered that when they found something they truly liked, or someone in your case, you couldn’t be separated from them. 

Lee had started the joke that you were their triplet and sitting there with them in the grass, stars twinkling above you, you thought he might be right. You were closer to them than you’d ever intended to be but you were immensely grateful for the boys. You were a found family even if you weren’t connected by blood. 

“Penny for ‘em?” George asked, nudging his thigh against yours and it was only then you realized your skin had become ice and you had been outside, eyes glued to the stars, for much longer than you thought. 

A misconception that many had of Fred and George was that they always had to be speaking, moving, clowning around. You got to see them in quiet moments that they used to only share with each other. Another misconception that had begun to circulate was that you were romantically involved with one or both (depending on which gossip you asked) of the twins. 

However, you felt nothing but kinship and contentment as you sat between them. They were your dearest friends, not to discount the great love you felt for Katie, Angelina, and Lee. Growing up with your friends just meant that you were most often together rather than apart and it was something you never wanted to end and no romantic relationship could compare in your eyes, if anything you felt as if a romantic relationship with anyone in your friend group would dampen what you had now and you were more than content to stargaze with the twins and feel the familial and familiar weight of their hands in yours. 

“Just happy I’ve got you two in my life,” You smiled at each twin, taking note of your favorite freckle on George’s nose and the funny cowlick that made Fred’s hair stick up in an odd spot on his head. “The universe planned you two very carefully I think, and no matter what anyone says you are both perfect to me and I couldn’t ask for better friends,” 

“Can I have my penny back?” 

“A little sappy Y/N, I feel I need to wash my hands now lest I feel sticky later,” 

“Oh bugger off,” You snorted, trying to sit up in retaliation, as if you would actually leave, before Fred was pulling you back down and pressing a caring kiss to your temple. 

“Nobody could be as perfect as us, but you come pretty close I suppose,” George played and Fred looked mock-thoughtful. 

“If we are the stars, you’d be the sky that makes us shine brighter,” Fred tried to tease but as the words fell from his lips he realized with stark clarity that it was true and he felt his chest swell with appreciation for you. 

George seemed to agree, swallowing a lump in his throat and tearing his eyes away from you. You were sat comfortably in the grass, hands now cold with the lack of shared heat but now folded over your stomach. You looked completely at peace and George was glad to see it. He never wanted he or his brother to drive you away. 

“You two do that all on your own, now settle down and watch the stars with me,” You commanded with a bright smile that rivaled the gleaming full moon in radiance. 

With an in sync, “Yes ma’am,” The boys were back to laying beside you, all three of you watching the stars blink against the inky veil of night that was slowly growing lighter as the time passed you by. 

The three of you didn’t leave until the sun made her presence known, a sliver of gold on the horizon.

best quality: The fact he is loyal and he does CARE for the people he is close to like Benny and the Legion family, even the Doctor. He just goes about showing how much he cares for them sometimes in the wrong way, except for that time he blew up a planet to protect his friends from Avril Frenman because that's iconic.

worst quality: The fact he went to the Beyond and got himself killed but we don't talk about that.

needs to stay away from: writers who don't know how to handle his character

misc. thoughts: Too many thoughts about Braxiatel!! Think about this dude constantly.

But my most recent one is for Time War 4 in Beyond. He was just so off in that story, and we had already seen a similar arc for that with Narvin, trying to go back in time to send Valyes to prevent the Daleks from being too powerful. But the motive for Brax was completely wrong.

Mostly because yes, he is a Time-Lord and is from Gallifrey, but the thing with Brax, is that he never wanted to conform to Gallifrey. He's always been the one to get out there, gather knowledge, and explore and change things for the better. He even started the Armegeddon convention and got many aliens to ban from using dangerous weapons! (yes, it was nearly a disaster, but his mind and heart were in the right place and I very much like to think he was the one to inspire the Doctor to travel and have the freedom of traveling.)

It's wrong for me to say he doesn't care about Gallifrey because of course, he does. He wouldn't have become a politician otherwise to try and change things for the better, but Gallifrey has always treated Brax unjustly even after all the sacrifices he has done to try and make his world a better place. He was terrified of the Time War and though he has faced the Daleks in 'Death and the Daleks' after the Fifth Axis invasion, the reasons why he wanted the Beyond didn't sit right. It was more of a Narvin thing to do rather than a Brax thing.

He always seems to get along better with Leela and Benny rather than with the actual Time-Lord's and I think it's because he doesn't have to hide anything from them. The humans can see Brax for who he is, far more than other Time-Lord's can see him or how he sees himself, and personally, I think he likes not having to hide or put up a facade and he actually gets to have some fun with Leela and Benny. Whereas with his own people, they are always so suspicious of each other it's impossible for him to relax or even get to that level with them unless it's someone he absolutely trusts. Which is well...

The character development he has gone through has been really written poorly in the last few boxsets, and I really wish big finish would stop using him as back fodder to keep rescuing Romana and getting her out of sticky situations, mostly from the mess she has made and then have Romana be suspicious and distrusting off him even though HE had saved her and HE would never let ANY harm come to her. EVER.

I also wish, rather than Narvin Brax was added in the latest Bernice Summerfield boxset because even though 'Gallifrey' by Guy adams was disappointing and I do love Narvin, I just wish big finish didn't keep using him and gave Brax an opportunity to shine once in a while. Plus,Brax is much more suited in the Benny universe and I would have loved to have seen Brax react to Benny being on Gallifrey with the unbound Doctor and how he has to face another Alternative Brother off his. I think that would have worked so much better and you could do so much in regards to that relationship as well.

if you’re in gryffindor you think you’re more “refined” than everyone else, and if you’re in ravenclaw you think everyone’s a stiff

this is the person with the braincell! let it be known that they have it, but refuse to use it

they have to be a little chaotic because they know what consequences are but disregard them

these people call themselves ambiverts but it really just means they won’t talk to you if they hate you

and i say that lovingly

okay, but if they do talk to you??? best people to talk with - they can hold an interesting conversation masterfully and it’s all because their enthusiasm is off the charts

let them ramble, it’s very endearing.

and physical touch is probably their love language so cuddle with them, too

they’re sci-fi and superhero nerds change my mind

now their loyalty is really interesting because gryffindors are really loyal where as a ravenclaws are individualistic and prioritize #1, so i feel like they are very much on guard

befriending is hard - they’ll keep you at bay until they are sure you can be trusted. and they won’t be made to feel bad about it either.

but once you are close to them,,,,, they would save you or die trying

their inside jokes are god tier

i don’t know how they do it other than they know how to make people laugh using the most unexpected methods and because it was such a weird experience, people are able to remember really well?

like, they could say “nutmeg” and everyone around you starts laughing, meanwhile you’re just ???

gryffinclaws are also really interesting because they don’t do well with conflict, but drama sort of gravitates toward them because let’s be real here, they can kind of be actively seeking it out, sometimes.

i mean, it’s usually to avoid having to deal with deeper emotions or even bigger problems, but sometimes they have a hand in their own suffering....

also, these people never study if they don’t like the class. they don’t. if they dislike the subject, they procrastinate with every fibre of their being.

but if it’s something they love, they are the first to get it done and will 100% do extra research and talk about it all the time.

they say they love both cats and dogs equally, and they actually mean it.

they are most likely concerned with wanting to change the world in some way - but they want it to be a tangible way that still allows for creativity and freedom

this is also the friend who stays up wayyyyyyy too late, and when you ask them what they’re doing, all they can say is “memes”

and they really do love memes - send them some. it’s their primary way of communicating

they love going out to get lunch and chatting with friends

food + people = love

they’ll even do it in their room! just bring bread and a good conversation - they can stay up for hours

also,,,, creativity and courage??? these are the people who actually have the confidence to publish their writing/art/whatever, and i admire that.

but writers block hits them so hard... i’m so sorry

at first glance they might be a little low on the empathy scales, but if you make it into their circle they would kill, die, and resurrect themself for you

BUT! all things come with a cost.

these are your friends with shifting loyalties. they are loyal until they feel your loyalty toward them fade, and they can and will shift against you for self preservation.

and they won’t feel bad about where their loyalties lie.

but please love them because if you really do believe in them they will feel it and it will rock their whole world

and if your feelings are strong, you’ll be surprised how quickly they can turn to you for guidance

if you haven’t noticed, this group is extremely intuitive - they can just sense what everyone feels about them

all that intuition... and quite a lot of tact

maybe it’s the cunning or the self preservation in them, but they can read a room really well - only bested by the hufflepuff/slytherin - and can sway everyone to their side

you want someone to give oddly accurate motivational speeches? this is the person you’re looking for!

slytherdors.... you either love them or you hate them

but no joke these are the people that the gryffinclaws and slytherclaws are constantly fighting - and the slytherdor is ready to throw hands at any given moment, someone pLEASE send a ravenpuff (huffleclaw?) to save them

it’s either that or they are extremely competitive and not afraid to call someone out

if there’s a dueling club, someone please put restraints on these children

as you can imagine, these people have a lot going on, and what they really need is just some quiet stability.

they need to see this world isn’t constantly out to get them.

they absolutely love music, so listen to songs with them! they have the best spotify playlists with the most obscure vibes, and it’s very aesthetically pleasing

also! listen to them in any group setting - they make the best, dry comments under their breath

if you laugh at them they will reach into the heavens and give you the moon and the stars

they really want the ~found family~ and definitely seek it out

they crave redemption arcs

they give me baby wolf vibes - they are wild killers, but they’re at that tender age where they’re still vvv similar to a puppy, when given affection

their slytherin side has tamed the impulsivity of a gryffindor, but the level of tactician a slytherdor is varies wildly. you never know what you’re going to get, and they are actually really good at covering it up

kind of like on those alignment charts where it’s like “looks like they could kill you but is a cinnamon roll” except it’s “seems competent, but is really an idiot”

they really need an animal companion, probably a cat or tarantula

the slytherdor probably doesn’t feign to study - they either do or they don’t and if that’s bad for their mental health then they’ll fight god himself

i get a lot of vibes of zuko screaming at the sky in that lightning storm, where he’s like, “come on, strike me! you’ve never held back before!”

maybe i’ve been a little negative, but uh,,,, their love language is sitting in the dark, holding hands and talking about the lamest part of their day

also, they hate meaningless endings to tv shows - they just want to see everyone be happy or die trying

maybe that was mean, but what i really mean is that they are the most emotionally intelligent of all the ravenclaws

these ravenclaws know how to use conflict resolution skills, and they are very much needed in ravenclaw tower

they’ve been coaching the gryffindor/ravenclaws, but good luck maintaining their attention if they don’t want to listen

they also have patience! that means they get along well with slytherins.

even if they’re tired, they’re a good sport about it

light academia aesthetic, or just soft vibes in general.

they are probably the only artists with a coherent schedule that they keep up on, while still remembering to stay hydrated and function like a normal human being

they lowkey crave structure - the unexpected is not for them

riddles? those have a right and wrong answer - they absolutely hate it when the gryffindor/ravenclaws or ravenclaw/slytherins give an answer that is “technically” right

they probably don’t tell anyone, though

passive-aggression? yep. i can feel them seething from here.

like, they can solve minor problems and can get over bigger ones in time, but if it’s a huge slight, they are never going to let go

and it’s super palpable when they dislike you because they are so kind to everyone else

they probably have a passion for poetry but can’t seem to write any themself

definitely still keep a book of it hidden under their bed, though

and if they are good they vehemently deny it but continue to write anyway

the biggest thing they struggle with is knowing their direction in life - who do they want to be?

abstract thinking is an art form, and these ravenclaws ponder existence in the most intangible ways you’ve ever seen

10/10 lay on the ground and stare at the ceiling for like 3 hours straight

they can vary wildly on the introvert-extrovert scale, but they are never in the middle. extremes only.

you can get close to them out with acts of service - they give so much, please just treat them ONCE

they attach themself to so many people, though. even if they’re an introvert, you’d be surprised with their connections.

they’re so level headed and yet, they can feel so lost

kind of reminds me of 50′s moms who seem perfect on the outside but have existential crises while making a roast in heels

they don’t necessarily want to be “known” - they probably feel like that definition is changing all of the time, so it would scare them to put themself in a box

i guess they’re kind of free spirits - maybe more like the aunt who does yoga with baby goats and collects crystals and pretty shells

they are great at conflict resolution, yes, but don’t expect them to be your therapist (that’s the hufflepuff/slytherin)

they have absolutely no idea when it comes to deep feelings - they barely understand their own

probably paints, tbh, or at the very least loves to go to museums w/ really abstract art.

they actually have the braincell! they keep it a lot of the time and can be stingy with it.

they either wake up really early in the morning or stay up until the sun rises because it gives them “clarity” or something.

ravenclaw/slytherin:

they’re definitely the blunt friend who will just say things as they see them

yeah, tact is lost on them

they also love to claim that they “don’t need” people, so they butt heads with the hufflepuff/slytherin and the ravenclaw/hufflepuff a lot

they have quite a bit of stratagem up their sleeve, so people can be weary of them

their attitude does nothing to solve this, but it could also be that the slytherclaw has this idea that flattery gets them nowhere

they are so divisive in their individualism,,, good luck befriending them

but if you do befriend them, you have a powerful friend in your corner.

they are 100% that distant relative that you think hates you but you aren’t sure if that’s just the way they are

but let me tell you a secret,,,, their love language is words of affirmation and if you stroke their ego they’ll grow soft

while slytherclaws may not be very persuasive on their own, they actually work really well in teams. they know everyone’s strengths are are unafraid to take charge and tell people what needs to be done and how

they’re also really good at logical thinking, so you definitely want to be lab partners with this one

and schoolwork? they do it and they take good notes. a really great student

and their ambitions and competitiveness means they are unafraid to go far, and they will do it in style, too

this is the epitome of dark academia. 

and there is very little that is chaotic when it comes to them - the slytherclaw is an excellent planner

maybe they desire more out of life - they never feel like they are quite getting what they want

they are cynical, but they they have such high hopes for this world

when they are let down, they’re not surprised but disenchanted nonetheless

they ponder the meaning of the world and what this world could be far more than they ponder their own life

they tend to see a bigger, more sweeping picture

100% they love the odyssey and definitely think it’s better than the iliad

they adore high fantasy with every fibre of their being and can really get into period dramas

i would say that a gryffindor/ravenclaw would be a good friend for them - we all know a gryffinclaw can talk, and sometimes a slytherclaw just needs to hear someone else’s take on this world

and, of course, it helps when anyone shows appreciation

okay, but they love sweets - chocolate, liquorice, peppermint, caramel... it’s one of the few childish things they allow themself to have.

they are actually relatively quick to trust? the fastest slytherin, actually

they keep their group small, but they get vibes about people and once you show them loyalty they trust you entirely.

i suppose they guess you don’t have any games because they don’t have any

ooh, but if you betray them??? they are a mess, emotionally, and will not hesitate to lash out.

but they are caring in their own way, and will do little things like reminding you to drink water or bringing you toast if you haven’t eaten and it’s very sweet

hufflepuff/slytherin:

so i know we have this idea of the slytherin sweetheart, but a slytherpuff is so much more than that

one of their strongest traits is the intersection of ambition and hard work - they will not stop until they are the best (in their mind at least)

it’s almost a petty form of competition. a bit of schadenfreude when they win.

and everyone’s immediate thought is that a hufflepuff/slytherin would be the most trusting slytherins but no.

not even close.

slytherpuffs are guarded at first, while holding a secret soft spot for you in their heart. but they won’t act on it until they are 100% sure you won’t hurt them. they are suspicious, but really want to like people.

it takes a lot to break down their walls, but when you do they already have a steady foundation for your trust to grow on, and it’s the strongest thing in this world

because of this they can often come off as cold or distant, but once you’re in their circle, oh yeah. there’s the hufflepuff qualities you were searching for.

a good contender for the mom friend position, but they aren’t overt enough to be so.

they’re not getting into your business or being slightly invasive like real mom friends, but if you need advice or a hug,,,,, this is the friend to go to.

they’re like the nice aunt. vvv comforting, but only if sought out.

oh, they have the strongest moral code i have ever seen - it cannot be shaken or swayed.

but! it can often go against the rules, so you do have a bit of chaos working beneath the surface.

i 100% believe that their love language is quality time, and most of that can be spent quietly, just sitting in the other’s presence.

i feel like 90% of their conversations is hand gestures or subtle facial expressions, so it make take a while to be able to read them, but it also means they are soooo good at reading other people

seriously, if you need a therapist in the group, this is your person. they know people so well. their intuition is off the charts.

BUT ALSO,,,, their levels of introvertedness are sky high. i feel like this is a given, but they can be in your orbit for 5 months and speak to your twice and think that is a decent amount of exposure.

please get them an extrovert. they need the exposure.

sEcReTS??? this slytherin probably has some, but you have to be like at level 50 to unlock their tragic backstory

they also have academia vibes and do really well in school work, but whether or not it’s dark academia or light academia is disputed. maybe grey academia? (is that a thing?)

they struggle with wanting to be known and yet wanting to hide parts of themself they find unattractive or unwanted

probably feel like they’re pulled in too many directions and overthink their choices just a bit too much.

everyone knows they have the braincell, but whether or not they use it is unsure

it’s so easy for their friends to coax them, they probably give it to someone else and never ask for it back even though they should be in sole custody of it

3. How long have you been on tumblr?

I was on tumblr in the pre-dashcon era, haha, and a part of many different fandoms alongside HP back then! I just recently rejoined in the last month or so, though

4. Do you have a queue tag?

Just "queue" but maybe I will make a more fun one!

5. Why did you start your blog?

I had been a lurker on AO3 for a while, and wanted to start writing my own fics. One thing led to another, and @the-starryknight dragged me back into tumblr and all of the different Drarry discords! I'm so glad I joined fandom again -- there is no place like it <3

6. Why did you choose your icon?

I made it! I thought a lion would be a fun icon to have. Here's a link to the bigger image.

7. Why did you choose your header?

Oh! Good question -- I was researching medieval ceilings and found the image while doing so. It is a picture of the Exeter Cathedral star ceiling. Something felt very Hogwarts about it, so I thought it would make a good header image!

I'm glad that social media can be used to support so many causes, and spread information quickly. But I think it's always important to be critical and research an issue before reblogging it. So, for some reason seeing people sort fictional characters into the Hogwarts houses with the stereotypes in mind upsets me. Not the upsetting kind of upset but the one where I just kinda rant about it and then forget it was even a thing I had in my mind.

For exactly that reason I am motivated to sort some of the fire emblem three houses characters into the houses, so that's what I'm gonna do.

But first, I'll say what I meant with 'stereotypes' and how I interpret the houses.

Generally speaking, I see the traits of the houses as what the people in them aspire to be, not necessarily what they are, which would explain why entire families are sorted into the same house over generations and why that rat-guy of the third movie was in Gryffindor.

Now, to the traits themselves-

Gryffindor - The house devoid of personality and also the one I like the least. So many people see any protagonist or personality-less character and go "Oh they're so brave, must be a Gryffindor!" I'd personally sort people with very strong moral values in this house, moreso those whose morales are to "stand up for the weak" and such.

Ravenclaw - The "Smart" house... Apparently Hufflepuffs and Slytherins can't be smart... (Yes, I agree that Gryffindors can't be smart) So, let's instead say, that people who value creativity and intelligence are Ravenclaws. Also, and this is just one thing I noticed, Ravenclaws are most often just in it for the funzies, probably because all the other houses have some variation of "likes to do more than is probably good for them" in their official traits. They also seem to do stuff for their own interest more than anything, and by that I don't mean it the selfish way but the 'hobby'/'interest'-interest-way.

Hufflepuff - If I see anyone ever say anything bad about Hufflepuffs I will fight them. They are pretty much exactly what their traits imply them to be, except that people just see them as the "nice" house and don't think about anything beyond that. They are hard working and loyal. Loyal to whom is the most important question tho. Could be a group of friends, just a single person or a cult- the possibilities are endless.

Slytherin - Slytherins and Hufflepuffs, name a more iconic duo. Slytherin is the best house, simply because they do what they do for the most simple reason: To do it. Gryffindors are in it for the attention, Hufflepuffs are in it because they want to help, Slytherins see anything resembling something competitive and they just need to win. And they do that just for the win, not for whatever reward they might get out of it. The reason why they work so well with Hufflepuffs is because they often have small friend groups who they are loyal to and Hufflepuffs return that same loyalty.

Now that that is out of the way, let's start with the main cast excluding Byleth since they don't have emotions or a personality.

Edelgard - Obvious Slytherin and I think if I need to explain this to anyone, that person either doesn't get her character or didn't read the traits of the Hogwarts houses.

Dimitri - Hufflepuff simply because the other houses don't fit him. The "healthy" him is pretty hardworking and puts other people before himself, and that's really all I can say.

Claude - Slytherin, again. Sorting him into Hufflepuff for any other reason than aesthetics is something I hope noone does, considering he kinda just leaves Fódlan in most Routes. Anyway, he's pretty ambitious, scheming and has a plan for the future for the whole game.

Hubert and Dedue (both because I have the same reasonings for them) - Hufflepuff, since both are extremely dedicated to Edie and the boar respectively. Also, the first thing Hubert always does is see if someone is loyal to Edie's cause, making loyalty the trait he values most.

Ingrid - Did I mention that chivalry is one of the official Gryffindor traits? It's also like poetry, as I neither like Ingrid nor Gryffindor.

Caspar - The only Gryffindor I wouldn't despise to be around. He has very strong values and one of the mentioned "stand up for the weak" kinda guys.

Petra - Such a ravenclaw, honestly. She does so much out of curiosity and interest that it gets pretty obvious.

Sylvain - Also Ravenclaw, although it's more of a 'He doesn't fit into anything else' than anything. Plus, in a lot of his few (smile through the pain) supports, he just goes to creative or intelligent people and tells them how great they are, so there's that.

Bernie - A very obvious thing to note is that she does stuff out of interest... And she reminds me of my Ravenclaw sister, so Ravenclaw it is.

Linhardt - Think about it... If you got anything else than Ravenclaw you should think again.

Lysithea - Everything about her practically screams Slytherin, probably because of her slightly unfortunate situation and by now I'm getting tired of explaining.

Last and the least least, Dorothea - She's a Slytherin y'all. And I'm saying that mostly because she reminds my of my Slytherin sister (as in they could be the same person personality-wise) so no further explanation... She just kinda is.

Fic that really sold me on the pairing: Of Brothers and Boyfriends by Amuly [38k,E] There’s no summary on the fic, but, essentially, Remus and Sirius’s secret relationship gets found out and things get… complicated. (warning for homophobia) [My note on my ao3 bookmark pretty much sums up how I feel about this fic: Honestly one of my favorites (and one of the stories that really got me hooked on Wolfstar tbh) and I've read it at least eight times. However, I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the homophobic James Potter (even though he does come around).]

Absolute favorite fic(s) for the pairing: Text Talk by merlywhirls [141k,Not Rated] Sirius is in boarding school, Remus is in hospital, and they don't know each other until Sirius texts the wrong number. (warnings for homophobia, mentions of abuse, and homophobic language) [One of the earlier fics I read and it’s always just been one of my favorites, even though it’s been 3 years since I read it for the first time.] Harry Potter and the Live Laugh Love Sign in the Basement by loudestfandomsoftheworld [24k,T] Harry spends his summer with his fugitive godfather and his former professor who is a jobless werewolf. It's probably the best summer he's ever had. [The humor, the characterizations, their relationships, it’s all so fucking perfect!!] Go East [+Podfic] by xinasvoice [84k,E] Remus has been running for a long time. Eventually, he runs into a strange castle built by a wizard and his young apprentice. The longer he stays, the more secrets he uncovers...and the less he wants to leave. This is a novel-length adventure story that loosely follows the plot of Howl's Moving Castle. It does not require knowledge of the HMC book or movie to enjoy it. [it made me laugh, it made me cry, and it’s plot is based on one of my all time favorite movies? 11/10] Of Queries and Quarantines by MoonCat457 [51k,E] LUPIN.RJ: James, WHY? POTTER.JF: Because you’re the one currently doing the job, so it makes sense that you’d be the one to train the person hired to take your place. LUPIN.RJ: No, I mean why is Monty hiring a new editor in the middle of a fucking pandemic? POTTER.JF: An old friend of mine is in a tough spot and needs a job, so of course, dad is helping him out. - - - - OR A story set in the middle of the pandemic in which Sirius is hired at the Potter’s publishing company and Remus is responsible for training him. Lots of texting, lots of video calls, lots of mutual pining, and a lot of really bad literature quotes. [i’ve largely avoided quarantine au fics, but sometimes they’re so well-written and hilarious and also a texting fic and i accidentally fall in love with them, so here we are.]

Most recent fic I’ve read for the pairing: There Is No Man, However Wise by enigmaticblue [87k,T] It’s 1988, Sirius has Harry, and possession is nine-tenths of the law. [i adore a good raising harry au and i also adore the premise of the series this is in and i also adore the writing story and characterizations. 10/10]

Favorite AU(s) I’ve read for the pairing: High School AU: Likewise Variable by ssstrychnine [28k,T] James has plans, Peter is the nurse, Sirius keeps fake blood up his sleeves, and Remus just tries to stay alive. [i first read this fic in 2017 and it still lives rent free in my mind. it’s hilarious, a perfect characterization of the marauders (even tho it’s a muggle modern high school au) and adding shakespeare? just icing on the fucking cake. it’s excellent.] University AU: Wannabe Your Lover by Maraudererasmut & shadow_prince [15k,M] Somewhere in America, Fall of 1997 - Returning to University, James refused to room with Sirius in the wake of The Great Cheez-it Battle of '96. They must adjust to living with someone new, Mr. Potter worried they'd both get scurvy, James unsuccessfully continued trying to court one Lily Evans, Snape got what was coming to him, and Sirius was the most confused of them all. [this is the university experience we all wish we had, lowkey. aside from the hilarity that comes from having the marauders in a fic, it’s just cute and well-written and i love it (and southern remus??? it’s everything i never knew i needed.] Alternate Sorting AU (Slytherin Remus): Half Agony, Half Hope by Barry_Manilows_Wardrobe [21k,E] A tale wherein Sirius Black loses 750 House Points for Gryffindor. But it’s totally worth it. [listen, if, before i read this fic, you asked me if remus could’ve been a slytherin, my answer would have been “perhaps but probably not.” now, however, yeah. 100%. it’s hilarious, it’s novel (which i love to see), but it’s still the same remus and sirius and it’s excellent.] Haunted House AU: Another Day in the Sun by REwrites [19k,T] Is it haunted? I suppose that depends on who is telling the story. [really really excellent and a little haunting (pun entirely intended). it’s romantic and sweet and a little bittersweet but i adore it.]

WIP(s) I really love for the pairing: We Were Infinite by WolfstarPups90 [336k,E] “The Marauders aren’t something that will just go away once we graduate.” James continued, taking a more serious tone and addressing not only Remus, but the fear that they all had found recently in the back of their minds about what may become of them outside the walls of Hogwarts. “We’re a family. We’ve proven that again and again, haven’t we? We’re forever. Unstoppable. We’re infinite.” The full story of The Marauders from September 1st 1971 - October 31st 1981. (Heavily centered around Wolfstar and Jily in later chapter) [the first WIP i ever read (usually i stick to completed works, but this was being pretty regularly updated when i started reading it and also it’s fucking iconic so what can i say?)] Of Leaves and Stars by irrationalmoony & LadyAmina [273k,T] Almost a year out of Hogwarts, Lily finally manages to convince Sirius and James to get more acquainted with muggle technology and buy phones. Sirius, of course, texts the wrong number. [everyone is queer! (as they well should be). also: is it complete? no. has that stopped me from reading it twice? also no.]

Favorite Series for the pairing: TransVerse by picascribit [30k,E,2 works] Canon-divergent AU in which Remus is a transgender boy instead of being a werewolf. (warnings for underage, transphobia, internalized transphobia, bullying, self-harm) [i am a trans remus stan and this series is iconic, but also heed the tags kids.]

Longest fic I’ve read for the pairing: Once in a Blue Moon by FullMoonDreams [408k,M] In a world where Remus never received his Hogwarts invitation and Sirius wasn't accepted by the Gryffindors the two lonely boys become friends. A story beginning in their first year, and continuing right through Hogwarts and beyond. RLSB. [this fic emotionally ruined me,,, but like,,, in a good way, you know? i will probably never reread it because i cried for hours the first time, but the plot does live rent free in my mind (and i do have a playlist of songs that remind me of it).]

Fic(s) with some of my favorite tropes: Matchmaking: Pining, Parchment, Plotting, and Pranks by KayBee1762 [12k,T] “Idea parchment,” James said. He unfolded it and smoothed it out. “You want to get them together, right? That’s why you came to me?” “Yeah,” Lily huffed, which was ridiculous because he was right, that’s why she came to him. But it was supposed to be her idea, because she wanted to help her dear friend Remus, not James or Sirius. But it was so nice to be able to talk about this with someone, and James looked so pleased and excited. “Good,” James said. “Good, because they need to get together, they would be so happy and so good together, and Sirius will stop sighing like a lovesick puppy and just snog him instead.” In which Lily considers changing Houses, James blushes a lot, Sirius is his usual dramatic self, Remus mopes, and Peter knew everything all along. [the marauders (especially james and lily) trying to play matchmaker is one of my favorite instances of the classic matchmaking trope.] Road Trips + Bed Sharing: Of Comets and Counter-Examples by Woldy [5k,T] If the past is a foreign country, can travel help to resolve a troubled history? Dumbledore assigns Remus and Sirius a mission to explore three European cities, or perhaps to find each other. [a lovely tale of travel, reunions, comfort, friendship, and self-rediscovery. plus, travel, bed sharing, and friends to lovers??? yeah] Matchmaking (again): In The Middle by Blossomwitch [3k,Not Rated] James is the natural confidant of both Remus and Sirius. When they both swear him to secrecy on the same topic, James is stuck watching his friends pine for each other without being able to say a word to bring them together. A lesser man might shrink from the challenge of finding a way to break his promise without breaking his promise, but not James Potter! [i already did a matchmaking trope fic i know but what can i say other than the trope fucking slaps and so does this fic.]

he'd come up with some weird elaborate plan to make you feel better

it'd probably involve multiple parts and A LOT of glitter

but in the end, you watched in awe as glitter danced around you

(if you don't like glitter it'd probably be water or smth)

you immediately knew George was behind it and you followed the trail of glitter or water

it led you to a hidden passageway and at the end of the tunnel it was no surprise you found George waiting for you

you laughed at his glitter/water covered appearance and helped him clean up

only to get some on you as well

it eventually turned into a full blown war with glitter/water bombs being thrown at every turn

in the end, you two laid out of breath by the shrieking shack

"so are you going to tell me what's been going on or do I have to go commando on your arse again?"

you laughed but explained yourself in the end

just like his twin, George threw in a joke or two but never drew any attention away from what you were saying

when you finished ranting, George took your hand in his and kissed it, making eye contact with you the whole time

so that's what he did

he listened to you talk for almost an hour as you went from ranting about your troubles to rambling about your favorite things

you somehow found yourself with your head in his lap, hands waving around as you explained the way airplanes worked

he just sat, admiring you

Cedric takes your hands and leads you to the prefects' bathroom

he leaves you to do your thing, promising he'd be there when you finished

when you were done, the two of you made your way to his dorm and you laid together

you started talking out of the blue and Cedric being the admiral man he is

listened

when you finished ranting, you realized you had gotten up and started pacing about halfway through

you groaned and put your face in your hands as you sat back down

Cedric was not having it

he pried your hands of your face and littered it in kisses instead, a message of encouragement in between each one

My Top 20 HP Characters In Order (+ Explanations)

Remus Lupin: He’s all around an incredible human being that has went through so many things that would make any normal person bitter, but he is still kind and compassionate regardless. He helps Harry, comforts him, and fights by his side until the very end. And soft boy make my heart go whoo.

Sirius Black: He’s a badass that doesn’t give two shits what you think about him and will do whatever it takes to protect and care for the people he loves. Even after spending twelve years in Azkaban he was still a better man than half of the other characters could even dream of being. And I really just like a man in leather.

Regulus Black: This man would make me risk it all and I am not at all ashamed. He sacrificed his literal life in the attempt to stop —or at least delay— Voldemort, separated himself from his brother just to protect him, and carried the deatheater mark all on his own with absolutely no complaints. He’s a beautiful soul.

Minerva McGonagall: She is obviously just an iconic woman that will tolerate no bullshit from anyone at anytime and always has her students best interests at heart. She is a precious soul and I would die for her. And I really want her to offer me a biscuit.

Draco Malfoy: He did not get the redemption arc he deserved and I am still pissed about it. He fucked up along the way, yes, but even still he did everything in his power to try to do what little good that he could. He literally lied to his family about recognizing Harry and that says a lot by itself.

Cedric Diggory: This man chanced the fucking cup and gave his life just to help Harry’s smartass and if that doesn’t say enough about his character then I don’t know what will. He is by far one of the most selfless people in the entire franchise and did not deserve to die.

Fred Weasley: This man is one hell of a good prankster and an all around joy to be around. He literally lights up any room and always makes sure that his friends are smiling no matter what. Plus I think he’s kinda hot.

Marlene McKinnon: I mean do I even need to explain this? Marlene is a fucking angel and a lesbian icon and I have no choice but to love her. She gave her life to the order and didn’t show a single sign of weakness whatsoever.

Teddy Lupin: This little shit is a fucking fireball, punk rock (he gets it from Sirius), prank pulling, muffin baking, model of a man and no doubt has given Harry his fair share of heart attacks over the years. I would love to jam out to Def Leopard with him while we paint our nails.

Luna Lovegood: She is an angel that fell straight from heaven and that is a hill I will die on. She is the most beautiful person in the HP universe, and I don’t just mean on the outside. She always drops everything for someone in need and is never disrespectful and I love her.

James Potter: Jamie-boy has a heart of gold and did not deserve to be killed so brutally. The amount of love and compassion bottled up inside of this one human being is surreal and I can’t help but marvel at his sacrifices.

Ron Weasley: Let’s get one thing straight, I will not tolerate any hate toward Ron Weasley ever. Sure, he’s had moments where he was a total prick but so has everyone else. He cared so much for Harry and even stole his dad’s car to rescue him from his abusive family. He’s a damn good friend and completely underrated.

Scorpius Malfoy: Scorpius is a polite little godsend and deserves the fucking world. He is the polar opposite of his father except the part where they’re both hopelessly gay for a Potter and honestly just a precious human being. He definitely is the only thing that keeps Albus’ fiery temper in check and I love him for that.

Neville Longbottom: This innocent bean of a man slaughtered Nagini single handedly and if that doesn’t give enough explanation as to why I love him then I don’t know what will. He learned to roll with the punches and was never cruel to anyone.

Lily Evans: She saves her son’s life with just her love and I think that is fucking badass as hell. She made sure to put James Potter in his place and was always a best friend to Remus when he needed it most and fuck I love her.

Blaise Zabini: He’s mostly just on this list because I think he’s god level attractive. I also have a type for pompous dicks and at first encounter Blaise fits into that category pretty well, but I really do love his personality to be honest.

Peter Pettigrew: Yes, Peter is a backstabbing twat, we all know it, but I can’t help but love him. During his school years he definitely snuck food into the Gryffindor Commons just to make sure all the younger kids ate properly and you can’t change my mind.

Harry Potter: Harry is a sassy, sarcastic bitch and I absolutely love him for it. This boy faces death every year and just keeps coming back like it’s nothing more than a slap on the wrist?? Love it. And he’s also a chaotic disaster bi and that’s something him and I can relate on.

Seamus Finnigan: Seamus is really only on this list because when I was younger I used to be like, completely in love with him. Honestly now he’s only within the top twenty because he snogs Dean 24/7 and I’m not ashamed to admit that.

Severus Snape: Okay I fucking loathe Severus as a person, he’s an abuser and a coward, but as a character I love him. He is probably one of my most favorite villains (yes I classify him as a villain don’t come for me) and I refuse to accept his “you have your mother’s eyes” bullshit as a redemption arc. If Draco has to live with his burdens, you do too, Snivellus.
