Wow, I hadn't seen it and it's uh... well, it's really something. 🤦‍♀️ That's a long-ass post and this is a long-ass answer, so more after the cut.

Posts like this one really prove that the Accords propaganda worked on a lot of fans, the word "safety" is uttered a few times in there as if those documents had any intention of keeping people "safe" from the Avengers or the enhanced. At this point I wonder, do these fans consider the enhanced as "people" at all?

It is quite scary that some are so quick to give up on freedom in order to gain in security, especially when these exact words are something Zola says in TWS. That guy was Hydra, folks.

Then, all that talk about Stark feeling guilty and blaming himself for everything... I do believe there might be some truth to that but that's just the thing, feeling guilty is free. If the result of all his actions is him going back to his luxury home and never having to pay for all his mistakes while those around him have to either go on the run as fugitives or serve time in jail or have to spend months in house arrest... what can I say, I'm gonna have a problem with that.

He felt responsible for that American kid's death, yes. What about Pietro though? What about the other Sokovians? There's a young woman in the team who lost her brother and her home that day... did he ever care about that?

It's interesting that OP mentions Steve having to go outside the law to find Bucky, but of course they don't mention he's forced to do that because the American government, the same that tried to force the team to sign the Accords, had sent the CIA to kill an innocent man on sight despite having no actual evidence of a crime. And regarding Stark offering "medical care" to Bucky in the US... why is Stark even offering that in the first place? What authority does he have to do that? He's not an Avenger anymore, he's a civilian, he had no power to suggest such a thing, he was talking out of his ass.

Also, suggesting to someone that they sign a document and only after that those papers can be modified is a scam. Anyone who has ever signed a contract knows that, it's not difficult to understand.

But there's something that I have read so many times and I still don't understand: "At this moment Steve was close to signing". No, he wasn't? He was listening to Stark trying to understand the situation, but I never saw him thinking about signing. What these stans misread is that Steve was NEVER against accountability, if anything he's the one who was completely game with that. It's Stark the one trying to direct the blame for his actions elsewhere. So of course Steve was going to listen if presented with a chance to get some accountability... the problem is he understood full well the Accords were NOT that.

Regarding Wanda, it's kind of infuriating to read that she was locked up in a luxurious facility so why is she complaining. Well, maybe because that house arrest was illegal? Because it was trumping her civil rights? Because Stark had no authority to do such a thing? Also, it's funny that OP says Stark had Vision with her because he knew she liked him -- he chose Vision because he's the most powerful one.

And I don't see how Stark could possibly protect her from the blame she might receive when she was being blamed for Lagos way before Ross showed up with the Accords. That incident is the reason she was locked up despite the fact that she saved everyone on that street. We're okay with locking up the heroes for a crime committed by the villains? I sure as hell I'm not.

Regarding Peter, OP says Stark took time to get to know him before "recruiting" him. Yeah, he took time to realize Peter was ideologically on Steve's side at which point he deliberately chose to withhold the reason why they were fighting, he lied to Peter and took him out of the country without informing his legal guardian. But hey, he was a 15-year-old kid, it's not problematic at all. "He wanted to keep him safe". You know how you keep that kid safe? At his own home and not in a fight in a German airport.

OP: "It's better to stay together as a team than go outside the law". Nope. Not at all. Not like this. Not when signing those Accords take the civil rights of a good portion of the population and half the team. What does "stay together as a team" even mean? At this point you gotta ask yourself why do the Avengers exist at all?

Then OP claims Stark "tried to avoid the fight" in the airport, which is kinda funny considering he refused to listen to Steve and he's the one who started the fight, and then this gem: "Team Cap goes against the law, ignores 117 countries, and tears the team apart."

Yeah... and why? Steve tells them about Zemo but does Stark and his team care? Nope. And at that point we all thought he was going to use those Winter Soldiers to his advantage, so yeah they were forced to go outside the law.

As an aside, all this "go outside the law" is said so many times, it's kinda weird. Are we back to the thought that if something is made law that means it's morally right? Surely we know better than that, yes?

Then, the Raft. So Stark "didn't know" they would be kept in a prison such as that but the same guy who hacked the helicarrier not two minutes after arriving in it in The Avengers doesn't have a damn second to get his ex-teammates out of the Raft? He didn't tell Steve about it either, how long were Clint, Sam, Wanda and Scott there? He cared oh so much according to OP... well, he sure as hell didn't show it.

But of course, we reach the point where OP says Steve knew it had been Bucky who killed the Starks. I think there's enough meta on this site to prove that's a lie and Steve had no way of knowing it had been Bucky, but I want to point out this scene OP includes in their post:

They claim this is proof Steve knows, but what I see here is Steve trying to put the focus on himself and his so-called "lies" in order to take the spotlight off of Bucky and have Stark focus on him. Because they know each other and at that point maybe Steve thinks he wouldn't attack him - and he knows in which state Bucky is. He's trying to protect him, this is not an admission of guilt.

Oh and, OP claims Steve and Bucky attack Stark? Nope, he's the one who attacks first. But OP is right, Stark does return home after he almost had an innocent man killed. No consequences at all, as per freaking usual.

Look, I won't deny Stark had a lot of issues and I think IM3 did a pretty good job with that. But the thing with this guy is... he's not well. He's supposed to be a morally grey character who makes mistakes and is amazingly flawed and the only way his character can develop and evolve and improve is if everyone around him calls him out on his shit, if he pays for his actions and he understands what he has done wrong. But the MCU right post-AoU decided no one would ever do that and he would be framed forever as 100% right, so we ended up with a character who never learned a damn thing, continued making the same mistakes over and over again, had the gall to call others out while having his own actions swept under the rug and he got a heroic death scene in EG and a funeral and tributes in other movies whereas other characters, mostly Natasha, were completely put aside like they were nothing.

That kind of treatment gets him so damn close to villain territory... which is a shame because he shouldn't be there. But alas... Phases 1-3 were the Stark Cinematic Universe, unfortunately.

For as long as she can remember, Y/N has been having the same dream since she was a little kid. All she could remember out of it was a cold wind that hit her face, the grayish tones of the approaching night and a tall person hiding in the shadows and always waiting for someone.

The first thing Y/N notices about the person hiding in the shadows is that when she comes a little closer and the light of the lantern revealed man’s lips are slowly stretching into a poisonously sad smile. The frantic-predatory gleam of his eyes bewitches and contrary to the call of her wildly pounding heart Y/N takes a step towards the unknown man.

Than everything turns dark and she wakes up.

At the age of 17 Y/N learns that watching the same person every night year after year means that she got a chance to see her destiny. Once Natasha spilled the beans about seeing a pale-skinned, dark-haired boy with a thoughtful look in his eyes ever since she was a little girl. As he grew older, this boy turned into a sweet young man whom she met in a hospital’s lab a couple of months ago. Y/N listens to her intently and feels her breath hitching. The man in her dreams has never been a child or a teenager. Truth be told the man in her dreams has not aged a bit even though plenty of years has gone by.

“Have you…” Natasha easily touches Y/N 's hand, to return her to reality. “Have you seen someone in your dreams?” She asks expectantly.

Y/N casually nods her head and regrets it the moment she has done it. Natasha stops in her spot and stares at Y/N with excitement in her eyes. As Natasha opens her mouth to ask a question, Y/N already sighs inwardly knowing well enough what will be discussed.

“Who is he? Or… is that she? What does they look like? Do I know them?” Natasha suddenly says, peering into puzzled eyes of her friend. Y/N clearly underestimated her friend as she was expecting one question instead of three. She has no answer for any of it anyway.

Y/N smiles gently, straighten the bag on her shoulder and quietly answers. “That is the man for sure. Nat, I don't think I can share anything else until we meet for sure. I don’t want to ruin everything as I always do, you know.”

She looks at her house and notices her father in the yard, who is waving and calling her home. For the first time, Y/N is glad that someone meets her after school. She says goodbye to Natasha and, on her way home, wonders how long she can hide her growing excitement from her shrewd parents.

At twenty-five, Y/N wakes up with a low scream when she hears a stranger calls her name for the first time. She would love to tell that his voice was low, gentle or calm but that was not the case. The man who she saw in her dream was screaming with terror as he was falling into the white abyss devoid of any colors and when he fell he must have lost consciousness as she woke up.

Y/N closed her eyes, listening to the measured breath of the night wind from the window and hopes that next time she dares to ask a stranger for his name. Or at least try to speak to him and she would definitely not want to see this dream again.

When Y/N finally decides to ask her parent about their fateful meeting, she hears the same thing that she heard from Natasha. She tries as casually as possible ask her parents if that is possible for her dream person to not age one bit when she hears the cold stone silence in return. She realizes her mistake only when she sees the worry in the tormented eyes of her parents and notices how her mother’s fingers tremble, barely holding a plate in her hands.

The next day, her mother drags her to the village next to her city to a gorgeous redhead woman dressed in strange attire. Wanda whose name Y/N learned from her mother pulls out an old book from the top shelf of her wooden cabinet and flips through the pages in a hurry and stops when she finds what she was looking for. She returns her gaze to Y/N, looks her up and down, and then sighs and clicks her tongue, uttering a word the Y/N had to process for a few minutes.

Wanda spins around Y/N, waving her hands with red flames, constantly casting spells. The smell of smoke and herbs makes her dizzy and slurred words that sound like a mantra make her heart shrink with fear. Y/N looks at her mother and almost cries. The girl is poorly understands what is going on as Wanda switched to unknown language, but the meaning of the word, which young woman repeats every now and then, bursts into consciousness, echoing. And she suddenly begins to understand who has been chasing her for years in her dreams.

A dead man.

Her fate is a long-gone person. That's why his appearance didn't change. That's why his frightened voice made her blood run cold. The call of the dead signifies the approach of the end. No matter how alluring his face may be, he has neither soul nor heart, and he will destroy her. She has no idea why she thought so, but she was determined not to let herself meet him.

Seeing her determination Wanda came to her, smiled and rubs her hand on girl’ back in circle in a soothing manner.

“Everything is going to be fine.” Wand said with her thick accent. “There is nothing to worry about.”

As soon as Y/N and her mother left Wanda’s house, the shadow took a step forward, looking expectantly at Wanda whose body was immediately doused with a cold. As if she still didn’t get used to face such creatures.

“I guess she is not ready to meet me yet?” a strange vibrating voice sounded around Wanda as if enveloping her in a trance. It sounded as if it came from everywhere, amplifying many times, reflected from the walls and columns

“She is not indeed. I think it’s better to leave her alone for some time, Bucky.” Wanda said fully turning to meet the man whose presence she felt the minute two women came to her house. “If you ever want to lay your hands on her, leave her be for the time being. Human mind is full of surprises and one day she will get used to the idea of your existence.”

“I hope you are right little witch. I hope you are right.” The whisper is lulling, quiet. Bewitching, almost putting Wanda into a trance. Bucky’s breath warms the skin on woman’s neck, where the pulse beats. “Or I will come back and won’t be that friendly to you are any of your family.” Bucky whispers in a menacing tone before disappearing without a trace.

Wanda takes a deep breath, crosses herself as she cleaning up her workplace cursing the confident but lost vampire. She just hopes that girl will be more open-minded than most humans.

Returning home, Y/N mourns over her destiny for a long time. Maybe Y/N is very young, but she understands: the dream of a happy life is buried along with the dead man from her dreams. The image of the mysterious man will remain a reminder that she will never know the same as her loved ones. Her destiny is to live with an unloved person until the end of her days, pretending that he is destined for her.

Falling asleep and waking up without a single hope of meeting such a familiar face of a stranger for several years now, Y/N regrets only one thing. She never got a chance to know man’s name.

Y/N perched at the bar and began to look at the crowd of cheerful young people. Loud beats of a tasteless music pounded in some absolutely incredible octaves, and the drum beats made Y/N's heart beat in a ragged, uneven rhythm.

She kept glancing at the company of drunken young men through her bloody red glass with ice cubes that was slowly melting away. The degree of excitement, both physical and sexual, that night went off scale beyond all conceivable and inconceivable limits. Y/N visited this club a few times prior with her girlfriends, but tonight she felt the need to visit it alone.

So little time passed since her epic break-up with her last boyfriend Justin. She has just turned 30 when he proclaimed that he has met his fate and is going to leave her. Even though she knew that this was going to happen, it hurt. Even if she tried to leave as a normal person which was not too hard to do as her dream man has not visited her dreams for five years now making it much easier to pretend that he did not exist.

She of course forbade herself to think about this asshole, but thoughts like persistent worms dug into her brain and swarm there swarming endlessly. His kisses left a slight bitter taste on girl’s lips and she knew she would not forget the feeling for some time.

Y/N took a small sip of her vigorous cocktail and reached into her purse. Two missed calls from Natasha. She pursued her lips in disgust and turned off her phone because she wanted to relax. She would not say no to a good sex either. She just needs one crazy, passionate and tender night with a stranger to get her mind off her problems. And she knew that this club stirred off all moral principles was exactly what she needed. She didn't want to remember Justin's words, his baseless accusations and completely inappropriate insults. She just wanted to forget everything and get laid.

When she was about to swallow the rest of her drink she caught moving beside her. Turning to a man who occupied seat next to her she felt her heart beating faster. His silhouette looked so familiar. For a moment, it seems to her that fatigue and the shaken rhythm of breathing are to blame for everything, because the one person she sees in front of her is the only person that simply could not exist. Wanda assured her of this when she cast her spells, circling over young girl.

Catching her breath, Y/N looks back at the man and opens her eyes wide in surprise when she realizes that the man across from her is studying her in return. They are separated just by several centimeters, nothing else. The stranger is still as young and beautiful as five, ten, fifteen years ago; time seems to have stopped for him.

His lips moving, but no sound reaches girl’s ears. The man whispers something to her to no avail. In confusion, she opens her mouth, looking at the one whom she saw in her dreams, in whose existence tried not to believe. How can a dead man sit so close and be as alive as her?

Shaking off the daziness she felt, Y/N smiled and fully turned to a man, facing him and taking in his appearance: dark-brown locks framing his face was shaped into artistic mess, his ocean-blue eyes watched her intently.

“May I ask your name?” He asked and she realized that he must have been talking to her for a few minutes before she realized it.

“Sorry, it’s Y/N.” She answered and extended her hand for a handshake, but he kissed her knuckles instead and let it fall back on her knees. “And what’s yours?”

“It’s James, but friends call me Bucky” He smiled at her and extended his hand. “Dance with Me.” He said in a non-arguing tone.

Y/N wanted to say no, wanted to push him away, to run away because she felt the need to do so, but it was hopeless. Against her will she extended her hand and James led her to the center of the dance floor. A new tune began to play, somewhat similar to the one of 90s. It was a gentle but dynamic composition, and Y/N immediately caught the steady rhythm of the loud drum beats.

James was a gallant and careful partner. His hands touched Y/N so fleetingly and tenderly that these touches were like a breath of warm wind. They moved perfectly, harmoniously, together and in one breath. She surrendered to his steady hands as he led gently but forcefully.

Passion and tenderness, sadness and joy from an unexpected meeting, bitterness and sweetness merged in their dance - conflicting feelings, opposite beginnings. Their dance was one big oxymoron, a strange accident that, nevertheless, gave happiness. Y/N only now realized how much she missed him for the smile and his demeanor itself, for his presence in her life. She felt dread deep within, but nothing could compare to her feeling of happiness. She had no idea how she really looked forward to his return, even if it was sudden and painfully sharp.

He ran a hand around her waist as she leaned back, their bodies entwined in fluid, almost erotic motions. James who was somehow perfectly fitting into the rhythm of the song gently took Y/N by the chin and made her effectively tilt her head back bend a little. He didn't insist, but Y/N wanted to obey and she obeyed, and James accepted her reaction as a kind of gift.

The music ended, and Y/N froze in place. James also stopped. They stood face to face, one inch apart, and James’s eyes filled with a thousand emotions as he looked at Y/N and squeezed her hand. There was sadness in his eyes, as if he knew he would eventually leave. Or so she thought.

“Come with me, Y/N. It's too loud in here.” James said and gently pulled her along himself to the exit of the club.

Y/N didn't ask where or why James leads her, she felt the uncontrolled desire to do as he said. She felt the weird sense of both physical and sexual excitement as he was leading the way. It was so easy to follow the person you... what? Wanted to meet? Loved? Felt lust towards? Y/N didn’t want to love James as loving him was like cutting herself methodically. Cut one millimeter every day. She couldn't afford those feelings, but neither could he.

Therefore, without a word, they got into a taxi and drove off somewhere. Y/N did not yet know exactly where, but then she realized: to the hotel. And her heart sank in perverted sense of lust and excitement.

She looked at the man sitting next to her and was surprised to find that he was studying her face, stopping his examination on her lips. The weird sense of desire cursed through her veins and without realizing she pulls the man by the neck, tasting his lips. Both shuddered at such unexpected closeness, but the man's hands on their own pulled the girl closer to him, wrapping around her thin waist. The kiss was sensual and unusual. When the man's tongue penetrated her mouth the world around them stopped and she lost herself in sensation. How they got into the hotel room she didn’t know. The only thing she was aware of was his hot whispers “I long for you” and “I want you”. He was pouring his hot breath around her neck, and she once again responded to this low velvety voice, feeling heat rise to her cheeks, and it hurts in the lower abdomen. He smelled of expensive whiskey, bitter orange, and spices, all Y/N’s feelings have now become especially extrapolated. A light kiss on the neck and she forgot about everything, swallowing nervously and pulling James's neck to her.

“The feeling is mutual.” she whispered thoughtlessly against his lips.

James didn't need to be told twice, he had already torn the thin fabric of her dress in half in one sharp movement, exposing Y/N's breasts, small buttons scattered across the floor, creating a rustle. The girl pulled off his T-shirt with trembling hands. She moaned causing James to growl in a low voice. He squeezed small breasts with his hands, pulling back the nipples causing the halos to turn a little red. Both were beside themselves, both were overwhelmed with passion and desire, alcohol completely dissolved all barriers and they had little of everything that was happening.

James pushed Y/N onto the bed, kissing the thin skin leaving a wet path from the neck to the chest, biting with teeth and therefore on reddish hickeys immediately appeared on the girl’s body. Let everyone know that she belongs to him. Another kiss somewhere between the ribs made Y/N aching from the pain twisting in the lower abdomen. Barnes seemed to feel it and started to slowly move his hand to the girl’s crotch which already was wet even through the thin fabric of panties. Gently pushing them aside, his palm began to make light movements up and down along the excited clitoris. The girl moaned in return and arched her back, grabbing Bucky’s hair and pulling his head closer.

Everything inside her was asking for way more than she was feeling right now. All of her skin turned into naked nerves, which Bucky masterfully played. It was also difficult for a man to restrain his excitement even through the veil alcohol, hatred for her previous fear of him and uncontrollable desire, now he just wanted to be inside Y/N. But he had one important thing yet to do. He pulled away from her being completely naked, and with a strong hard-on, which she lustfully looked at.

“You should know the conditions,” the man croaked looking at the heavily panting girl. “Once we seal the fate’s mark, there won’t be any way out of it.”

“James,” she wanted to protest, but Barnes interrupted her, pressing hard hand on the girl's neck.

“Condition, Y/N,” Barnes said harshly. “Do you agree with it? There won’t be turning back and there won’t be leaving me again” He said and felt relive washing over him when the girl nodded and obeyed.

“Take me, I want you,” Y/N answered with a breath, and the man chuckled, again reducing the distance between them to millimeters. One sudden movement, a loud scream, a guttural growl and a moment of bewilderment.

“Damn, Y/N , didn’t you have anyone?” Bucky muttered, looking at the intoxicated eyes.

“I did, but...” the girl replied grabbing his ass and directing into yourself.

She was too narrow, too wet, too hot. Everything for Bucky that was connected with Y/N now was from the category of "too". But now he understood only that this moment dragged on for too long. He moved in her with such a wild and animal passion that it seemed this tension would tear both of them apart. His sharp thrusts echoed in the girl with loud and vulgar moans. She thought that she would probably never get used to his impressive size, which brought her to the point of insanity.

Y/N missed those feelings so much. She hasn’t got any proper sex for quite some time and now she felt how her need was finally fulfilling. The man has not stopped, continuing to gain their highest point of pleasure. The movements became more and more unrestrained, both moved towards each other, and the slaps of wet bodies filled semi-dark room.

Bucky abruptly pulled out of Y/N and she felt a painful emptiness, looking at him like an offended child, but the devils danced there, and it turned him on even more.

He turned his girl on her stomach and without waiting for a suitable pose, abruptly entered her, which caused him to catch a loud scream. With each new push Y/N thoughtlessly shouted it out his name, resting her elbows on the already damp surface of the bed.

“Louder,” Bucky squeezed out with an imperious wheeze, and grabbing both of the girl’s hands closed them around her lower back, leaving her completely in his power.

“Yes, yes,” Y/N groaned exhaustedly, succumbing to meet Bucky. Soon enough she felt both heat and cold, cursed through the body as a single wave, the muscles of her vagina contracted and she had a chance to hear a guttural growl of her man the same moment she felt hard pulsations and pleasant warmth inside herself.

He collapsed exhausted right on her, pressing his whole body, all wet, panting, and although Y/N was not very comfortable, she dreamed to prolong this moment as long as possible.

“Sorry that I came,” he began, panting and speaking incoherently, “into you.”

“It’s all right,” Y/N answered, gradually coming to her senses, “I’m on pill anyway.” They both chuckled. Bucky turned his head to meet hers, and turn around, to lay next to her.

As he smiled at her, the girl laughed, gently, almost in a whisper and asked the question she has been dying to ask.

“So you are more than real. But I have been told that you are a dead person...” She whispered looking into blue eyes with interest, and then tilts her head slightly to one side as she hears that her heart rate is too fast and that his heart would have been beating the same way if it had not stopped many years ago.

Bucky looks at Y/N who instantly freezes, her eyebrows raised in surprise, and her mouth slightly parted. He reaches out with his hand to the girl's face, lightly strokes her cheek, sinks to her chin and covers her mouth with a slight movement, and then as if he lost his mind he bursts into laughter. Y/N smiles and laughs back. Bucky’s laughter is mesmerizing and soothing.

“You know, while you have seen me the same way all of these times, I have to watch you growing from a little girl with beautiful fair hair to a lovely young woman.” Bucky runs his hand through Y/N's hair and whispers that a lot has changed during this time.

He speaks of his past and the eternal feeling and the transience of time and at some moment Y/N feels that she is falling into abyss of darkness that is vast and deep. And Y/N is ready to drown in it.

Bucky watches her sleep and think that probably tomorrow she will regret everything that happened, but now she was free of any dark though.

The fast asleep girl turned her back to Bucky and pressed herself to him, making him cuddle her.

He on the contrary was not asleep, but he understood that both of them needed time to adjust to their situation and have some time to calm down. For now he almost weightlessly touches the skin of her neck with his lips controlling himself, knowing well enough that one day he will have the chance to change her destiny forever. Today was simply not that day.

I get "justified" hate from Tony-antis because it was "wrong" for him to go after Bucky and Steve, even after being confronted to the truth of his parents' murder so brutally, after Steve lied to his face and probably used Tony's resources to go after his mother's (unwilling, brainwashed, I get it) murderer. Tony's rage at this betrayal is reduced to a "tantrum" or just a "stupid man-pain" by so called fans and that he is the villain for going after an innocent man.

Meanwhile Wanda Maximoff and her brother saw Tony's surname on a missile that blew up their home and they immediately joined a Nazi cult for their quest for revenge. Instead of going directly after Tony Stark, or the people who actually blew up their home—Wanda decided to destroy an entire city by unleashing Hulk on them, mind fucked a man so he creates something that nearly destroys the entire planet and thought it was all fine and dandy to be on the side of something that felt no regard to human pain until she realised "oh shit, maybe this evil robot's plan would kill everyone, including me" and the fans dub her a "hero", a "traumatised sad child" who lost so much.

People paint Tony as the bad guy for calling Wanda a weapon of mass destruction in CW forget that this is coming from the man who was shown a vision of all his friends dead near his feet while his worst nightmare comes to play by her. Who knows and has seen what she's capable of. Yet he still keeps her fed, housed and bathed in luxury via his own "blood" money, makes her armor and tries to protect her from Ross' wrath.

Flash forward to Tony dying for the universe after finally getting a life worth living for and people saying "he didn't deserve the elaborate funeral mcu gave him" and then theres Wanda holding an entire town hostage and getting thumped on the back for being so sacrificing and kind by both mcu and her stans

Unpopular Phase 4 & 5 Opinions

Quantumania is the worst Phase 4/5 movie. And it wasn’t even because “kang got beat by ants.” (I liked kang in this movie). It’s just that the Spy Kids aesthetic & bad acting & overall weird vibes just weren’t for me.

Love and Thunder is no worse than Ragnarok. I would argue that it’s better in a lot of ways, actually. I really liked it.

Taika Waititi ruined thor with bad humour all the way back in Ragnarok tbh, but y’all weren’t complaining about it then 😒.

BuckySarah is better than sambucky every day of the week.

The Marvels was a good ass movie & they’re one of my favorite teams in the mcu. I’ll never forgive cbm sites & online dudebros for killing the hype from the moment the film was announced.

I adore America Chavez & Kamala Kahn and I want to see them in everything. They must be protected at all costs.

Multiverse of Madness had shitty characterisation & basically just copy-pasted the ‘grief made me go off the deep end & hurt people, then I realised and stopped myself’ storyline from Wandavision… but Wanda was extremely selfish & apathetic to other people’s suffering from the time she was introduced in the mcu. MoM didn’t make her like that.

Wanda should’ve been looking for Vision (her actual real life boyfriend whom she spent years with irl) in MoM instead of the kids that weren’t even real that she spent like a week using as characters in her sitcom.

Making everyone forget Peter Parker wasn’t profound or poetic in any way- it was just frustrating and needlessly cruel.

I’m begging marvel to understand that heroes don’t have to be in constant suffering to be heroic & villains don’t have to sacrifice themselves to achieve redemption. Let characters heal and atone, you absolute weirdos.

What If…? is the most boring show ever. I’d rather watch Secret Invasion or She-Hulk.

Season 2 of Loki is, in a cinematic & artistic sense, the best marvel project period.

Loki season 1 was meh- more of a fun au than anything because his characterisation kinda sucked. Season 2 fixed it, though, and made it way easier for me to incorporate this version of Loki back into the larger mcu.

Having Steve stay in the past with Peggy was stupid af.

I don’t hate Peggy (or Captain Carter), though. I actually think she’s pretty cool.

I don’t really love Steve. He’s arrogant & they never really let him have flaws & something about him being a perfect metaphor for the American military industrial complex (and marvel painting that as a good thing) doesn’t sit right with me.

The Illuminati got done dirty and the only reason they went down so fast was because Wanda had all that plot armor.

I thought the retcon of having Wanda be “destined” to become the Scarlet Witch since birth was an annoying cop-out. Her powers originating from being experimented on with an infinity stone was way more interesting.

Loki & Wanda have almost the exact same powers.

Nebula deserved a bigger rule in killing Thanos & everything else moving forward.

I love Kathryn Newton but her acting as Cassie Lang was the worst acting I’ve ever seen in the mcu, like it was outrageously bad.

I’m glad Sam is the new Captain America and not Bucky.

The fact that Bucky probably isn’t gonna be one of Thee lead characters in the upcoming avengers movies feels sick and twisted.

Secret Invasion was actually passable until the G’iah scene at the end. That ruined it. And Nick Fury deserved way better for his solo series.

Kang is so much more interesting than Doctor Doom. I really hope they just recast him.

Carol Danvers does NOT deserve the hate she gets.

I actually disliked Carol until The Marvels. That movie made me a stan.

The way people treat Monica as Wanda’s little inferior pet creation or smth & then brag about it is uhh very sus.

I don’t like sylvie (bc she’s an amalgamation of 3 different comic characters- which killed any hopes of them appearing individually in the mcu, the creators used her existence to butcher Loki’s genderfluid rep, & she was written poorly) & I HATE sylki (bc it’s weird & unnecessary).

Marvel isn’t dead. I actually love where they’re taking things. But that’s just me.

I really need to talk about this for a moment because it's important not only to break some biased opinions on certain fandoms but also as a whole characterization for Stephen.

I mean, I'm on Twitter, it's hell everyday. But in particular there's this habit of certain X-stans of jumping into certain groups' throats like the F4 and the Avengers. And there are indeed... takes that make me believe some people don't actually read the stories. A common one is always accusing this or that character of siding with or supporting Orchis, the anti-mutant group responsible for the genocide in Krakoa and the mutants' current illegal status on Earth.

I don't have the total picture/knowledge of the aforementioned groups, despite knowing they are heroes and thus would never fight alongside fascists (no matter how hard Bendis wanted them indeed to look like fascists in CW I and II). But I can and will speak on Stephen's behalf. And these people will never have anything to support this biased idea that every non-mutant hero is against mutants, especially when it comes to the Sorcerer Supreme. He has helped them MANY times, including moments of conflict between humans and mutants (or inhumans and mutants or whatever). Point is, at least, Stephen is safe. I wish I didn't have to make this kind of post since it's pretty obvious that Stephen vowed to protect all lives, has practically a daughter figure in Illyana and fully supported Wanda when she still was a mutant. And yet, here we are.

Stephen has broken the law before (New Avengers v1 post Civil War, Civil War II, Cates' run when he worked as a veterinarian, when he stole a whole dinner table from a hotel to feed the homeless in Defenders v1 etc). The truth is, he does not care if it means to help people. He's not afraid of it. And I'm always glad to have canon proof of that.

Wanda's parents married when they were young and I can't say anything else about them krkwkr

It's been a while since Wanda has heard from them.

She's an only child but she's always wanted siblings. Wanda tried babysitting but as a teenager but was terrible at it (I imagine she'd manage to rope the Dropout and all their friends into helping her take care of children a few times).

Wanda was the last one to join the Dropout's group of friends.

She had lots of people to hang out with, but J/Uma/Travis/MC were Wanda's first true friends.

High school was a time Wanda doesn't remember fondly. She flirted a lot and was often demonized for it.

Wanda loved modeling and saw it as a means to finally leave the neighborhood. And then Gabi came along and Wanda decided to stay.

Older and more traditional neighbors don't really say anything straight to her face but they do regard Wanda as someone easy/tainted by her past. Especially after she got pregnant.

Wanda currently works at the Hangout, a pretty normal bar in the neighborhood.

She likes involving herself with environmental protection projects.

Well, the thing is that people adhere to a theory and ignore any evidence that may contradict their theory. They think that just because Z is taller than Tom, she is the "man" of the relationship, a very old-fashioned term. So they heavily comment on pics of her having her arm around him, but not those of him having his arm around her, or caressing her, or grabbing her from behind. It's just a stereotype of taller women being "more masculine". We even have now "trans detectives" claiming that all tall women in the industry are trans. something that makes me really mad is the way wanda stans constantly blame tony for her ending up in the prison in civil war. tony was the reason she wouldnt have been in that situation if team cap just left her there.

tony keeping her locked away, as horrible as it sounds at first, he was trying to protect her from the only bad thing rhat happened to her in civil war. her being in the prison she entirely brought upon her self and i fully stand by that

so here's the thing about Clint & Tony. I used to ship them like a lot in fanon and I was talking to my friend and they brought up the fact that Tony lied to Clint when he came back to life and wow now I remember why I stopped liking them together, even as friends

so before civil war in the comics there was the whole House of M fiasco, where Wanda lost control of her reality bending powers and Clint died and was brought back to life and died and brought back to life etc etc etc and then civil war happened and Steve died

in Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America #3 (unsure if it's before he goes off to "confront" Wanda or not) Clint contacts Tony to come back into the fold after being dead for so long because things are crazy. The avengers are split and the world is in pure chaos and Clint just woke up in all this mess like "I want to help"

Tony straight up lies to Clint and talks him into becoming the next Captain America by hiding his true intentions from Clint and using pretty words rather than being honest and upfront. Tony manipulates the information to his advantage because Clint is generally unaware of the state of the world and. It's not great. Not one of my favorite Tony moments

Anyways Tony immediately gives Clint the old suit and shield is like you wanna go for a test run? And Clint is like mourning his friend thinking he's doing a good thing by carrying the mantle and is like yeah let's go until they get there Clint realizes that they're trying to arrest teenage vigilantes for doing the right thing and stopping a villain and suddenly he realizes that something is very off bc Tony doesn't really even care about the villain

Clint protects the two kids from Tony but it takes the next generation of Hawkeye & Patriot (Kate & Eli) calling him out for making a mockery of Cap (it's an incredible speech tbh) for Clint to realize he's playing into Tony's hands and opposing the morals that Cap fought and died for while wearing the same suit. Clint is obviously pissed and tells Tony he'll send back the suit and there ends Clint's very brief run as Captain America. Thanks Tony.

anyways there are some lines you just don't cross imo? I still like tony and you can ship them and it's fine but for me personally as a clint stan I can't see them as a thing that actually works in a healthy sense in 616 anymore because that's just a level of betrayal I can't see Clint getting over

My opinion of MOM is only slightly changed from when I first saw it on Mother’s Day 2022. It has good entertainment value but, much like L&T, falls apart narratively when you look at it beyond that superficiality.

Largely forgettable. That’s the problem with a lot of the Phase 4 films. Wakanda Forever, Eternals and NWH are the only ones that really stick with you or stand out narratively. Don’t have that problem with the miniseries. But I digress. Back to MOM.

I’ve never understood people saying this is “Wanda’s movie” when A. she only has 29 minutes of screentime and B. Much like Stephen, she has no real arc. Her only role in this installment is to be The Villain™️, and she’s not even really the villain here. An antagonist sure. That damned book was manipulating her grief. I’ve also noticed the majority of discussion surrounding her actions here are pretty evenly split between people who have children versus people who don’t. Wanda stans, even childless and/or childfree ones, tend to fall into the former camp.

Stephen throws in her face TWICE that “her children aren’t real”. Yes, that’s true. But they were real TO WANDA. Yes, the Darkhold might’ve turned them into Living Emotional Crutches that Wanda felt she needed to have by whatever means necessary, but they were real to her. Stephen’s attempt at logic-ing Wanda out of this was always going to fail because this is an emotion-based situation. Wong recognized this and tried an emotional appeal on Mount Wundagore. Yes, it would suck knowing you in this reality can’t have what makes you happy but knowing your children are out there happy somewhere is the important thing. For all the grief some people have given him for bringing that up, 838!Wanda uses that exact same argument and it gets through to Sacred Timeline!Wanda.

Another thing, it’s very weak writing to rely on The Darkhold so heavily. In an unfortunate piece of particularly weak storytelling, the script beats you over the head with “the book is the real villain” while also presenting Wanda as the problem. Speaking of bad writing, it’s abundantly obvious to me that Waldron does not understand nuance. He thinks of these characters as surface-level archetypes and that’s it. There’s no depth to Stephen or Wanda or Wong, either Christine, or even America. Stephen is on the defensive the entire story. Wanda is the Darkhold’s latest sword.

Really, none of these characters have any arc whatsoever. They just exist to fulfill plot functions and have no agency. We talk and talk about how Wanda is incredibly OOC here, and that’s true, but you know who else is? Everyone else! Even characters we just met here or are MCU OCs (the 838 cast).

Stephen is reduced to a Pinball Protagonist from literally the moment he wakes up. Nothing he does effects anything or anyone. He doesn’t defeat Wanda or make her see reason, he doesn’t destroy the Darkhold, he doesn’t really DO anything. His plot function is “protect America” and that’s it. Weirdly enough, he does have a tiny sliver of an arc if you squint. I just couldn’t really tell you what it is.

Related to point 3, this is the most blatantly “plot-driven” installment of the entire MCU up to this point. The film really suffers for it.

It’s Evil Dead With MCU Characters. This is not a compliment or a positive comparison.

There's things I am understand from Tony Stans when they write 'Steve mistake ',

1. They will using reason Steven choose bucky over tony

2. Steve hide / lie the fact about tony parents death

3. Steven is not read accord and not make negotiations about accord

4. Steve recruit clint, sama and wanda and make them in raft. So it's steve mistake

From the four point the third point is bothering me. I am not gonna lie I kind forget the detail civil war but, steve did and the only one that read accord. Also if I am not wrong Ross didn't give chance go steve and everyone to negotiations about accord at all, I meant he said avenegrs onel have three days accept or retired. I menat what kind f&** is that. They have no time to negotiations about accord at all

And Tony said the can make negotiations after they sign the paper, that not how work. You can't make negotiations after to signed the papers, the UN won't considered that they want control, you signed you follow what is inside

So I think it's was weord they blame steve no want negotiations at all. Because there's no time for that, also Steven considered the accord if they for innocent protection and not for government to controlling innocent peoples. So why they keep point that?

I think they need to come up with excuses, half-truths and lies because no matter how hard the Russos tried to paint both teams as equally right, Team Cap is the only one in the right.

To your first point, Steve is against the Accords way before Bucky is even in the picture.

This is something that not only the haters but many fans seem to forget: Not everything Steve does has to do with Bucky. He has a separate life and a mind of his own, and those Accords go against everything that makes him who he is.

To your second point, Steve had no way of knowing Bucky had murdered the Starks. Zola said this:

Zola: "For 70 years, HYDRA has been secretly feeding crises, reaping war. And when history did not cooperate, history was changed." Natasha: "That's impossible. S.H.I.E.L.D. would've stopped you." Zola: "Accidents will happen."

And this was shown:

This required Steve to assume Bucky had been the only Winter Soldier at the hands of Hydra. He could have guessed but he didn't know for sure. And going to Stark to tell him "I found out your parents were murdered but I'm not sure of what happened", over 20 years after the fact is not exactly ideal. Not to mention Stark had hacked Shield's systems two years prior. He didn't exactly do a good job of digging there, and Steve and he weren't that close.

To your third point, whoever says that is lying. Steve is the only one shown reading the Accords:

My man has perfect memory. He knew very well those Accords were an abomination.

And to your last point, Sam, Clint and Wanda have agency and they knew what they were getting into before they went to the airport. Unlike Peter Parker who was lied to by Stark, Steve was very clear that he wanted his team to know who and why they were fighting, and the consequences of doing so. Even with a stranger like Scott:

They chose to follow Steve because they knew it was the right thing to do. Clint left his family, Wanda risked her life and her freedom, so did Scott, Bucky and Sam. All of them followed and did the right thing because they're heroes, it's what they do.

Ross knew very well what he was doing. As Secretary of State, not only did he keep the Accords under wraps until only three days before the UN meeting, he kept from the entire team that an Accord is not the same as a law and it was a constitutional violation to try and enforce it on the team and the citizens.

They had no time to negotiate. They would have needed to lawyer up and do everything in a short period of time: the meeting was in Vienna and they were in NYC, if you count the time it would have taken them to get there, the time they needed to find a lawyer they trusted to go through the whole thing and come up with a good enough case to stand up not only to the US Senate but the UN… yep, they had no time to do so. That was Ross' plan all along.

Stark telling Steve the Accords could be amended after he signed them was no more than an attempt at manipulation. There is something important to keep in mind here: Stark would NOT be affected by these Accords at all. As shown in the movie, he broke them when he flew to Siberia and nothing happened. Ross called him and he put him on hold, and nothing happened.

Stark is used to doing whatever the hell he wants (like basically telling the government to suck it when he refused to give them his suits. What happened to him? Nothing) and facing no consequences whatsoever. So in his mind, signing these papers means nothing, he can break them whenever he feels like it and he'll find a way to get away with it. For Steve and Wanda, the Accords were a direct violation of their civil rights. It's not the same.

Steve was never against accountability. The Accords were:

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

So, I finally watched Doctor Strange 2 and as always I would like to give ya'll my opinion. Spoilers ahead

First of all, I love America (pun not intended). She is such a sweetheart and I love her relationship with Stephen. He's like a big brother that protects her😭❤️

Next thing is, Christine everyone. So, to all of you out there who didn't watch What if, you wish you did it now. Cause that whole story with Christine was already brought up there and the way they continued this storyline was amazing. I can tell that my heart broke when Steven said that he loves her in every universe

Next thing is Wanda. My Queen, my love, my everything. For one I am happy that we finally saw how powerful she truly is. Like damn, she destroyed Kamartaj on her own and killed every single on of the Illuminati. Sllllayyyy. On the other hand, my heart broke at all that cruel and gruesome shit she did just to be with her kids. I think that shows what a lost and heartbroken soul Wanda really is. She deserves better:(

I loved that scene where "Our" Strange and Sinister Strange fought against each other with these music notes. Probably my favorite scene

I'm a little sad that Shang-Chi wasn't in the movie, cause with the After credit scene of his movie, it would have been perfect but no:(

The Illuminati. I am in love with live-action Captain Carter. I was heartbroken when she was split in half. I loved that Captain Marvel, she was so cool:0 Black Bolt, da man. I never thought I'd hear from the Inhumans again, as nearly nobody even watched that show. And Xavier of course. In his cool stool from the animated series. He was as Cool as ever. And. Reed. Richards. The Man of the hour. The fans are getting better and better at predictions.

Wong deserves more appreciation

I don't really know what to think or believe now, cause with all of the upcoming stuff, there are endless possibilities now. There is "Agatha:House of Harkness" which will definitely be important, Antman 2 will definitely play a role too. We have Miss Marvel and She-Hulk coming soon. Lord knows what Season 2 of Loki will hold for us. And let's not forget Moon Knight. That show only had one reference to the rest of the MCU as far as I recall and that was Madripoor. But I think it will play a role too

The after credit scene. So, I believe the common theory that "our" Strange now has the third eye too cause he had to use the Darkhold to enter our dimension. That makes sense, right? Anyways, I'm excited to see more of the dark dimension

One last thing, after seeing the trailer I always thought that this movie would somehow destroy Dr. Strange for me. That I wouldn't like him after the movie, cause of the things Wanda said, you know with you become a hero, I become a villian bla bla bla. But now, I love him even more, poor boy only wants to protect his peeps, Wong and America are the living example. Don't get me wrong, I still love Wanda and she deserves the world but I still think that the things she did were wrong. Strange did wrong things too, that's clear, but he did not choose to kill anyone that stepped into his way. Wanda stans pls dont come at me, I am one of u. I love Wanda. Queen.
