Sleeping Spider Lily Pt.1
Blade/Reader NSFW Part 1 -- Part 2 -- Part 3 -- [🌹Part 4🌹] Minors DO NOT interact MASTERLIST Once, you were in love with a man called Yingxing. That man died during his involvement with Dan Feng’s betrayal. At least, so you thought. Jing Yuan helped you through your turmoil, comforted you in your pain, and eventually you were able to move on and live your life. Little did you know your lover was simply lying in wait. After years of suffering and pain, Blade arrives on the Luofu with a mission at hand, everything planned for him. That is until he sees you…and all the memories come flooding back.
Tumblr media
Days stretched on as if they were years upon years. Every moment nearly torture since you lost the love of your life. You knew Jing Yuan could see it on your face, the numbness in your voice, the distant look in your eyes, the way your body moved robotically during your work in the commission. It was probably a depressing sight, but all sense of self disappeared when Yingxing was gone, and it was impossible to bring yourself back.
You blamed yourself first, lectured yourself on how you could have supported him better, understood him better to stop what he was planning. Then you started blaming the Imbibitor Lunae, focused your attention on your hatred towards the Vidhyadharan high elder for leading Yingxing to his betrayal and death.
Then, when there was no one to blame, when you had to face the reality of his death, you fell into a depression that made it impossible for Jing Yuan to sit aside and watch anymore. He stepped in and pulled you up and suddenly you were on different kinds of missions.
Instead of working on papers and writing reports to the commission, you were going out on patrols with the cloud knights or even with Jing Yuan himself. He talked your ear off, took you out to tea or dinner, he made sure you had company and that you were never alone with your thoughts. Jing Yuan helped you stand and helped you move on. He knew what you needed, and he became your best friend over the many, many years.
Your life filled with new passions and new friends, Jing Yuan shared in your pain and together you kept living. You became a sword in the dark for him, you hunted in the night and fought for Jing Yuan when he couldn’t step away. Together you were a force the Luofu trusted to keep them safe. Finally, you were healing from the pain that seemed to last centuries. Finally you were happy.
The Aeons seemed dissatisfied with your suffering, however. Or maybe your luck had completely run dry. Whatever it was, your mind reeled from what you saw before you.
He walked down the hallway of the Shackling Prison, two guards at his sides, his arms tied in front of him, head low. You watched as his long silky hair swayed with each step, a familiar gait once prideful with long strides was now slow and meticulous.
The blackish-blue hair was familiar, a reminder of when he was young, when you first met him. It was strange at first, having once gotten used to the white color he sported as he aged. But, you found yourself thrown right back to the past. The way he would stare at you, the way his hair felt in your fingers.
The past is gone now. Eyes that once looked upon you with affection now glowed red with anger and bloodlust, a smirk glowering on his face as he looked up at Jing Yuan who had Yanqing at his side, sword at the ready.
"Do you remember me?" Jing Yuan asked, shocking you to your core. He had known...of course he had.
“I do...Of five people, three must pay a price,” he spoke, his voice gravely and deep, daunting in the dark. It echoed in the silent, near empty room, a voice that sounded all too familiar. A voice that made tears spring into your eyes. “You…are not one of them, Jing Yuan.”
You simply watched the scene before you, eyes wide, your body hidden in the shadows of the prison. Your lip trembled along with your fingers, as if your whole body was cold, except you were on the verge of a complete breakdown.
None of the words Jing Yuan said after that registered in your mind, like your ears were completely muffled. Everything around you spun, your eyes only able to see Yingxing, or rather what he had become after years of whatever had happened to him.
This wasn’t the Yingxing you knew…the way he looked at Jingyuan, the way he stood, it was all in anticipation of violence. But he looked like him and you wanted it to be him, your eyes roamed his entire body in desperation for anything that looked like the man he used to be.
You watched him cock his head to the side, his now red eyes quickly glancing to the sides of the room, as if noting the amount of guards in the room, or looking for something. Then his eyes shot to the side, towards where you hid in the far back of the room.
The shadows should have cloaked you, no one ever saw you when you stood here. But his eyes stopped right where you stood, his eyes widening for just a moment. You swore you saw the curve of his mouth fall. It lasted all but a second before his eyes were back on Jing Yuan, the facade of pride back upon his face, like it never happened. Like he never saw you.
“He’s alive!?” You punched your bathroom mirror, tears streaming down your face as you stared at your broken reflection. Jing Yuan stood behind you, leaning against the doorway, his eyes downcast. For once his face was solemn, regretful.
You gripped the sides of the sink, gritting your teeth, trying to stop yourself from sobbing. Years of stitched up pain, of wounds you thought had healed, they all came flooding back. Like blood, the memories spilled out, swallowing all thoughts, forcing you to relive everything all over again.
“He’s alive…” Jing Yuan finally spoke, trying not to cause you more pain. “I’m sorry.”
Deep breaths did nothing to dwindle the anxiety as you turned to face him.
“How long…how long have you known?”
Jing Yuan looked up at you, mouth open, before he stopped himself. His mouth shut as he sighed and looked down at the floor. Of course he had known. All these years, your closest friend had known the love of your life was alive and kept it a secret. Your voice shook as your shoulders slumped, turning away from Jing Yuan.
“Just…just leave…please.”
He said nothing, leaving you alone in your pain. The night was filled with tears and loud sobbing, your face stained and red, eyes sore and burning.
Sleep eluded you, every time you shut your eyes, images of him filled your mind. Yingxing, your lover, now someone you barely recognized. It was impossible, a terrifying prospect, and the worst thing to happen to you now. All the healing, the years of pain…was all of it for nothing? Questions racked your mind until you were too tired to think but also too tired to sleep. And before you knew it, light filtered into your room as morning came and alongside morning, came Jing Yuan and even more bad news.
“What do you mean he escaped!?” You couldn’t help your voice rising, the exhaustion evident in your tone. Jing Yuan simply watched you struggle with the information, his eyes saddened by the pain you dealt with.
“I mean, sometime last night, he broke out of his holding cell, and we suspect he is still somewhere on the Luofu.” Jing Yuan sighed, rubbing his temples. Obviously this situation was affecting him just as badly. He was already notorious for barely getting sleep, it would be a wonder if he had even a moment of rest last night.
“Fuck…fuck…” You pulled back your hair. Everything was quickly going to shit. Jing Yuan had not only caught you up on the new status of Yingxing, who apparently now went by Blade, but also on the fact that there was probably a Stellaron on board the Luofu and that the Stellaron Hunters were involved with both incidents.
“Look, I know this isn’t an ideal situation but,” Jing Yuan sighed again before looking at you. “I’m telling you this because I don’t want you getting involved.”
“What? Why? This is literally my job!”
“Because,” Jing Yuan put his hand on your shoulder, his touch able to calm down your shivers a little bit. “Your past relationship with Ying–Blade–I don’t want you getting hurt even more…”
Your shoulders slumped and you nodded slowly. It made sense, Jing Yuan knew that everything was only causing you pain. He had your best interest in mind but…your eyebrows strewn together and your breath caught in your throat.
“Fine.” Ying Yuan was satisfied and that made the guilt a little worse. Because you knew you were lying. The nighttime was your hunting ground. And Yingxing or rather, Blade, would not run away. Not again, not without the answers you so craved.

You slowly opened your eyes to see a man with oddly but bright rainbow eyes staring at you. As you blinked several times before pushing yourself far away from the man.
Before the creepy figure chuckled " She's awake!" his odd monotone voice, made your body shake. As you quickly whipped your hand across your body sending a gust of red magic going towards the unknown man before he quickly dodges the attack.
While you stood up, trying to balance yourself onto the ground. "WHO ARE YOU" you yelled, as you looked at the blonde-haired man, baring your teeth at him. Before you stared around your surroundings, you saw a bunch of people—no demons. Staring at you, "What the fuck" you cursed under your breath, as the demons looked at you curious.
"Where am I" you barked at him, you felt your hands turning warm as your eyes glittered with red color. "You're in the Infinity Castle, thanks to the biwa lady!" he clasped his hands together, giving you a smile. You lowered your hands down. The color of your eyes flickering into their natural color.
"Where's the exit" you muttered, "A-"
"There are no exits" Akaza cut Douma mid-sentence, looking at your pissed-off figure. "What do you mean there are no exits, why am I here!" you yelled, walking to him but stopping mid-way.
"No exits, how the fuck did I get here" you barked, "You were here before any of us" Daki interrupted, you as she looked at you oddly.
She crossed her arms against her chest, she was young but dressed in revealing clothes, "How old are you" you said, pointing at her, "HUH? WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!?" she exclaimed, puffing out her cheeks.
"You look 14, and I don't think kids are supposed wear something like that" you said out, before registering what you said.
"HUH?!?" she yelled before she almost attacked you before her brother grabbed her. You cocked your head at her before you felt a strong aura spawning behind you, you immediately saw the demons bowing down.
Before you turned around to see a man, with black hair and red crimson eyes. His aura was creepy for you, as your body conscious started heating up, feeling your eyes glittering with color.
The unknown man gave you a look, that made you shake to your core. You manage to look at him in the eye, though fear paralyzes you.
Before his body-chilling voice ranged through the infinite castle. "What's the update on the blue spider lily," he said, nobody said anything, the atmosphere was tense.
"I said, what is the update" he yelled out, before someone spoke up, "W-well, Lord Muzan. The location of it is unknown, but I do have some information about" one of them, you guessed demons said. His whole appearance was odd to you, it was a body coming out of a vase, and his eyes and mouth were in opposite places.
"Well, are you going to be an idiot or say it," Muzan said, it was a flashed, that the demon's head was in his hand. Before the he started rambling about the information he had, when he was done, his head was throwing to the ground, as you at the head rolling.
"Since you guys can't find a simple flower, I found something better," Muzan said before he shortly degraded the uppermoons.
"You" you were snapped out of though, as he pointed at you.
"You're going to find it" he said, turning his body towards, shortly all eyes were on you.
"Me?" you pointed at yourself, "what is a spider lily" you questioned, deadpanning. "Huh," Muzan said, "Do you seriously don't know what a blue spider lily is" Muzan said, twitching his eyebrows.
"No.." you said, cocking your head to the side.
"Are you serious right now" he closed his eyes, and put his hand on his nose bridge, in a pissed-off expression.
The upper moons just looked at you incredulously, "So.. could I go home now?" giving him a smile.

I want to know more about Azrael Hfvbafhvbaefhjv 💗
I don't have any art of him (unfortunately, because I cannot draw)
Manifesting that someone will draw him omg 👀
APPEARANCE:
Azrael is a throne angel, his angel form consists of four golden rings that are filled by countless dark black eyes, his angel form is also accompanied by two pairs of black angel wings.
His semi-angel form is a male gendered body, except his head is a mini version of his actual angel form just floating above his neck.
Now to his humanoid or human body,
Azrael is tall, is 243.84 centimeters tall, has very long and slender legs and arms, skinny and slender body build (yes, he has a slutty waist), pale skin, dark black monolid eyes, long eyelashes, sharp jawline, pretty face (ethereal and out of this world, his facial features differ to the souls he's guiding. Terrifying to sinners, angelic to winners), clean and trimmed fingernails (sometimes he wears a black or gold nail polish), and his halo as dark as the abyss floats stop hiss head.
I don't know what hairstyle this is called but his hair is like this(https://pin.it/5WZCzuwcU) but his hair color is black.
He has the touch of death and he can activate and deactivate it at will. When activated, darkness crawls up from his fingertips up to his elbow, creating an ombre color of light and darkness.
Azrael Pinterest board (https://pin.it/L5weDj6X9)
PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND:
Azrael is a mystery amongst the three triads of heaven, doesn't make an appearance often amongst his kind.
Azrael has a laid back yet teasing personality; teases anyone if he has the chance to, he finds it amusing to see the person's reaction.
He always has a smirk on his face.
He has a bit of a flirty personality, he knows he has the looks and won't hesitate to use it to his advantage.
Especially asking the angels underneath his leadership to do favors for him, such as doing paperwork or doing boring tasks that he doesn't feel like doing.
Due to his laid-back personality, he sometimes doesn't take serious situations seriously and often cracks a joke during it.
He usually skips meetings unless it's a meeting that is held at the First Triad Embassy.
The First Triad Embassy is where angels who commit serious crimes are to be judged.
As the angel of death, he couldn't possibly roam the mortal realm on his own.
That is where the angels underneath his leadership come in.
Each virtue oversees their assigned angel types
He watches over the thrones and dominion angels, giving them lists of souls they needed to reap, usually souls of winners.
He wants to personally reap the souls of sinners, he wants to scare them.
When guiding a winner he just summons a portal that leads to heaven's gates.
When guiding a sinner, he just opens a portal underneath the soul's feet and drops them to hell without notice.
Azrael was born into existence when earthly creatures were created, no, humans aren't the first creatures on earth.
He was created because mortal creatures existed.
He is death, he is what awaits them after their time ends.
Yes, he also sends animal souls to heaven.
Azrael is currently seventh in rank among the seven main virtues, embodying the virtue of humility.
MISCELLANEOUS FUN FACTS:
• His favorite flower is a red spider lily.
• He is a cat person, he loves cats. His favorite are the orange ones.
• His bird form is a black swan.
• He doesn't like doing paperwork.
• He likes drinking black coffee with two cubes of sugar.
• His favorite colors are black, white, and gold.
• He wields a black scythe with golden edges.
• He gets distracted easily.
• Slightly narcissistic.
• Amongst Luke's ocs he is the favorite child.

Hi!! Can I please request a hanahaki fic with blade? I'm not sure if you've written for him though!
Also, please take some breaks! You've written a lot of fics lately, you might get overworked 🤍
Tumblr media

. .hanahaki just had to put you through fucking hell, didn't it?
// tws ; lil bit of cursing, blood ; gn reader ; modern au, hanahaki au
a/n: OH MY GOD ANON YOURE LITERALLY THE SWEETEST ILYSM OMOGMOGO
i will be writing a part two to this.. soon enough :3
you couldn't do anything about this stupid disease anyways, so what was the point of even trying?
you heaved up clusters and clusters and clusters of ugly bright red petals, their sickly sweet scent making its way up to your nose. you felt so fucking nauseous and dizzy. the fragrant miasma of flowers overwhelmed you. you wanted to vomit or cry or die or anything but cough up these dumb stupid flowers.
the flowers flopped onto your floor--your newly polished floor-- ungracefully, covered in slick mucus and freshly coated in splatters of blood. they smeared the previously pristine tiling with blood, the iron stench of it mixing with the flowers and filling up the entire room. you just wanted the disease to kill you already. if it was going to either way, why make you suffer?
after what felt like hours and hours and hours and hours of coughing and heaving and choking, the flowers finally stopped fucking coming. you took shaky shallow breathes, trying to ground yourself.
your palms stung, and you looked down to realize you had been digging your nails into the palms of your hand almost strong enough to draw blood.
your gaze trailed up to the stupid fucking flowers.
upon closer inspection, you realized they were spider lilies. red ones.
his favorite flowers.
too bad you hated them.
--
his eyes were the same exact color of the flowers you had just coughed up.
blade sat two seats in front of you and one to the right, and whenever you saw him you couldn't help but wonder why you had fallen for him.
he was always so indifferent and cold. sure there might've been something warmer under his icy exterior, but you weren't the type of person to go dig through someone's cold attitude just to find out what they were actually like.
but some days you wished you knew what was under that cold front of his.
--
you were getting worse.
you'd barley come out of your room to stretch your legs or go to the bathroom or even eat.
the spider lilies were killing you from the inside out. of course you had to have hanahaki for someone who probably hated you, if he even knew you existed, that is.
and, on top of that, out of all flowers, the ones you coughed up had to be toxic.
if just hacking up the flowers was bad, the nausea they caused because of being toxic was worse. you couldn't even go five minutes without feeling abdominal pain and nausea.
ugh.
--
blade swallowed hard.
why did he feel like this? why did his heart beat so fast when this random ass person passed by?
he gritted his teeth.
"kafka," he grumbled, barley glancing in her direction.
kafka glanced up from her book, setting it down elegantly and tucking a strand of mauve hair behind her ear, adjusting the tinted glasses sitting atop her head in the process.
"yes, bladie?" she grinned a little, and blade could only groan in irritation.
"who's that?" he muttered, gesturing towards the person he had been thinking about earlier.
"why?" kafka mused. "you've never been interested in learning others' names before now. what's changed?"
"nothing," he muttered gruffly, crossing his arms across his chest. his ears felt hot and his heart was beating faster and he was getting butterflies and he didn't know why.
kafka grinned, eyes glinting with amusement.
"ooh, i think someone has a crush."
"no."
"okay, let's go talk to them then bladie."
"no!"
"why not? is it cause you like them?"
"..fine. let's go talk to them."
--
your head fell forward a little. another sleepless night of coughing up flowers didn't bring you any good.
suddenly, your eyes snapped open.
was that.. blade? walking towards you? with kafka?
no, it probably wasn't. you were probably just sleep deprived and hallucinating or something.
but then you smelt the strong and unmistakable scent of anise, too real to be your imagination.

Toji thinks of two things as sits and watches the color from your face drain and your chest begin to still.
What he could’ve possibly done to lose another woman he loved, and how to move on with it again.
He wanders into the abyss of his mind. At first, it feels like trudging through a thick fog that slows him down as if his own brain is warning him to go back. Thoughts hazy and slow, not in a concise stream. He pushes on and eventually the haze clears. He remembers his first wife and how his heart turned to ice after she died. Then he remembers how you warmed it again, but now you’re gone too.
Toji shakes his head and swallows until the lump in his throat dissipates. He tries to think of normal things. What he’ll have for dinner, what to watch on tv tonight, if laundry needs to be done. He quickly finds that you’re still invading his mind. You should be there to help him cook, You should make him watch one of those stupid romcoms he abhors, and you would always know when laundry was needed.
He looks down at your face again and notices how even the dull colors around you are beginning to look brighter in comparison. Toji still watches you intensely, as if by some miracle he’ll see your chest begin to rise and fall and the color return to your skin again. After a minute when you’re still frozen, he covers your face with the sheet on the bed and steps outside. Not before squeezing your cold hand one last time.
The walk to the front door feels like an eternity and he doesn’t know if his mind is moving slowly or if it’s physically him. The walls of the hallway feel like they’re getting tighter, closing in on his broad shoulders. He closes his eyes and walks faster until he reaches the door, hastily pulling it open and letting go of a breath he didn’t know he was holding.
It sickens him to see the wilting red spider lilies creeping up from the garden. Almost like they were making a mockery of you by dying off too. He knows spider lily season ends when the summer does, but it still feels too personal in the moment. Toji has half a mind to walk to the garden and rip them out straight from the root, but he knows you’ll scold him, or you would have.
“Do you know why I keep those spider lilies out there?” He was never the kind to enjoy pillow talk, but he could listen to your voice for hours. Especially when your warm body clings to him and he can feel his cum running down the insides of your thighs.
“Those red things?”
“Yeah, those ones.” He nods and smiles down at you, lifting his arm up for you to shift your body from half way on top of him to all the way.
“Do you remember the day we met in June?”
How could he not? He remembered bumping into you on that excruciatingly hot day. He remembered the cream colored sundress you wore and how it seemed like your mouth ran a mile a minute talking about god knows what. Toji was honestly too busy taking in the features of your face and the curves of your body that were only illuminated by the blazing sun.
He doesn’t say any of that to you, though, he just nods again.
“I was looking for those spider lilies when we met. Even though they have a horrible connotation, I’ve always loved them.” You lay your head on his chest and he sees the corner of your lip turn up in a smile, he mirrors it.
“Anywho, after we went our separate ways, I started to see them. Not immediately, but randomly. In sidewalk corners, flower boxes, just unusual places. Do you know what that usually means?”
“Beats me.” You laugh and it’s music to his ears.
“It usually means we’ll never cross paths again, but I didn’t want that. I wanted to see you again. You were cold, but intriguing. The muscles helped too.” It’s his turn to laugh and he subconsciously flexes the peck your head rests on.
“So what’d you do?”
“I’m so very glad you asked. I started collecting them whenever I saw them, and soon enough I had a beautiful bunch of seven, a lucky number. Do you remember when we saw each other again?”
He nods and smiles, catching on. “July 7.”
“That’s right! So in some way I believe that those lilies wanted to bring us back together instead of keeping us apart. That’s why I collect and grow them annually in summer, as a reminder.” The enthusiasm in your voice begins to waiver and your body begins to relax into him more. He runs a hand up and down your spine and watches the goosebumps rise on your skin.
“What do you think about that, Toji?” There’s a million different complex words he could use to describe the bliss your sleepy form brings to him, even more to describe the story you just told, but he settles on simplicity instead.
“I think it’s beautiful, just like you.”
He feels you smile against his skin before you finally drift off.
Toji feels a warmth sensation begin to fall down his cheek. He’s crying. For the first time in a long time, he’s crying. His hands are shaking and he feels the awful ache crawl back into his throat before he finally lets himself succumb to his emotions. He rests his head in his hands and lets the tears slide down his face and form small droplets in the soil beneath him.
He doesn’t know how long he sits like that. He does know that his head is starting to feel to heavy for his hands and it makes him feel like a child again. He also knows that he’s starting to shiver from the breeze.
Toji picks his tear-stained face up to look at the sky. The sun is shining, but the warmth doesn’t reach him. Like he’s been punished to just look instead of touching. He begins to wonder if he even deserves to feel the warmth of anything. Maybe he’s the common denominator as to why he lost two women to death. Maybe he’s cursed and anyone who gets close pays the price.
He soon realizes that his eyes have moved from the sky and were staring at the red lilies again. Focusing on the wilting tendrils on the flower for so long that he can no longer see the shape and just see red. The same shade as the lipstick you used to wear.
Toji’s mind bounces around again. Traversing deeper into the void that is his inner thoughts and he soon notices that he’s not staring at the lilies anymore, but past them into the similar void of the garden. He could just up and leave. Abandon the house with you in it and start over again like he’d done before. It was the easy way out, and Toji was used to taking the easy way out.
It makes him wonder even more if he really is a bad guy. If everything was just a facade that even he had tricked himself into believing. He’d fallen back into old ways with his first wife, he’s bound to do it again with you. Bound to once again become the cold man he tried to change now that no one is here to hold him down to earth. Maybe he doesn’t have a curse, perhaps it was just him all along.
The chill in the air still feels like it’s deep in his bones. Penetrating his skin to keep him in a perpetually shivering state. He knew the summer was ending and the cold was starting to push its way in like an invasion, but he swears it was still warm yesterday. Even though his finger tips were beginning to ache and turn red, he still refused to put on more layers. Instead he opted to sit in the cold until his extremities began to feel all the way numb. A punishment to himself.
He does eventually push his body to head back inside, but he finds that the house is still just as cold without you. His feet pull him in the direction of the kitchen for some water and it’s there he notices that the dishes have piled up and there’s no cups for him to use. It was usually you that washed the dishes, but your illness slowly stripped that away from you. Toji suddenly felt the urge to vomit and cry again at the same time before he pulled himself out of the kitchen again and decided to do the dreaded task of calling in the death.
He’s been through these steps before. Holding the phone do his ear and he taps the knuckles of his free hand on the table below. Answering there mundane questions as quickly as possible before hanging up and feeling the sense of dread begin to creep up his spine again. For the first time in his life, he feels genuinely lost. Unsure of his next steps even though he has a million different ideas cycling in his mind like a carousel stuck to turn eternally. The thoughts continue to spin in his head as he walks back into your shared bedroom and stares at the sheet that your body lies under.
He circles the bed and slowly climbs into his side, careful to not disturb your body. Just like how he’d do when he came home late and you were sleeping. Though you’d always wake up no matter how meticulously he climbed in, now it pains him to see you not even stir.
Your back is facing him and he can still see the curve of your waist under the thin sheet. His hand reaches out the gently feel, fingers just ghosting the fabric, but he can still feel you. Even though your body is now freezing and beginning to stiffen. His face softens for the first time since you’ve officially passed, and he finally gets an idea of how to continue on without you.
He’ll take it slow, one day at a time. Living his life for you to not let his heart freeze over again. Though for now, he rests his head beside yours and finally closes his eyes. For even though the summer is over and your body’s cold, it still feels like home.

RED
MHA
Hawks X Reader
TW: Mentions of blood
It happened in an instant. A split moment where all you could see was red.
You've always loved the color red. Red like radiant spider lilies, red like sickenly sweet strawberry soda, red like summer fireworks, red like the midday sun and red like loving him. Loving him was red.
It hurts to breath. Chocking, gasping breaths escape your lips, but no words formed. The surrounding air was thick and heavy. Grey ash dominated the sky, but still all you could see was red.
Out of all the wonderous shades of red in the world his was always your favorite. Grand wings saturated a deep crimson. The color of warmth, comfort, and brilliance. But now his red has changed, shifted into something different. Red like burning embers, red like anger; fury uncontained, red like immeasurable anguish.
This was not supposed to happen. This shouldn't have happened. This was not your place. Try as he might to shake off the reality of the situation, nothing could wash clean the red before him. This was real and he was a failure. He failed at the one purpose for which he was given life. Protect the innocent.
A gloved hand came around to wrap firmly about your waist. His hold so tight that it bordered on painful. It hung about him like a heavy blanket. The red of his anger, the red of his frustration, the red of his sorrow. And below you as well. Slowly, ever so slowly you were staining the ground red.
It came as a whisper, a barely audible whimper through gritted teeth, a single word.
"Why?"
With half lidded eyes you looked up at him and managed a small smile. You meant it to be soft, to be kind, to be a smile of contented relief. But all Hawk's saw was red. Red staining your gums and spilling from the corners of your mouth.
"Because you are a man worth protecting."

I'm not like the other boys. I don't play sports and I like music. I also get bullied at school by that jock Jacob! (A/N: no hate to Jacob this is just 4 the fic)
One day, when I was doing physics homework in my room, I heard my step mom shout from downstairs.
"Go away your not my real mom!" I shouted annoyedly
"Come downstairs now or I will sell Schrödinger" she screamed angrily.
"ok fine" I said passively.
I threw my chestnut locks into a messy bun (A/N: he grew his hair out) and walked downstairs. My step mom rolled her eyes at me. "I have sold you, come meet your new owner." She sneered dismissively. My hazelnut orbs filled with tears until they looked at the walnut man with pecan-colored eyes. "Hey babe." he growled sexily.
I swooned and he caught me in his buff, brazil-nut-colored arms. My macadamia-toned skin blushed peanut but I was too shy and backed away from his beautiful filbert lips. He obviously wanted our tongues to battle for dominance.
I got out my physics book instead and started reading it.
(Ryan pov)
I grabbed the mayonnaise boy and dragged him out of the house. I want him like when you really want to eat a cookie but mom said no. But this time... step mom said yes. His locks are the color of severely burnt parsnips and his orbs are just like flattened chocolate chips.
Suddenly, a group of jocks showed up. My beautiful sour cream uke was scared. I had to protect him.
(Dylan pov)
Jacob showed up with his lackeys Nick and Kayden (A/N: this is Kaitlyn I genderbent her for the story!).
"Prepare............ for pain!" he said menacingly, looking at me with an evil stare like Voldemort.
"N-n-n-n-no!" I shouted scaredly.
Suddenly, the hickory nut man ran in and throat punched all three of them with gingko nut fists in the blink of an eye and they were all on the floor!
"T-t-thank you." I stuttered impressedly at the oysternut American. He grabbed my throat romantically with Saba nut hands. Suddenly, I felt sick and turned the shade of a pistachio nut........
"Baby, what happened!" he snarled possessively.
"S-sir," I cried slenderly, "Kayden poisoned me yesterday and it just kicked in!"
"I will find the antidote" he swore solemnly.
I looked up at his handsome gabon nut face and his water caltrop colored hair. "Why are you doing all this for me?"
"You aren't just someone I bought... I know a secret... You're also.............. my fated mate."
I gasped and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
Then, I remembered something.........
(Ryan pov)
"I reject you!" the delicate boy screamed delicately at me.
I fell to the ground. My lungs burned like a fire. I coughed... and a red spider lily came out of my mouth.
"Y-you h-h-have hanahaki disease!" the buttered noodles colored boy exclaimed terrifiedly.

The color they see when they finally meet their soulmate.
(All characters aged up 18+)
My Hero Boys

Tumblr media
Bakugou: When you accidentally bump into Bakugou while walking down the street. He nearly seethes as he quickly turns around to give you a piece of his mind, until he sees the bright orange you’re holding in your hand. Looking up at your face, he didn’t think he could ever seen someone as beautiful as you. His world was so dull before, convinced he would never see the bright vibrant colors his friends and parents bragged about. But it all came to light when you faithfully knocked into him that day.
His expression softened at you, but he saw fire in your eyes. How your face twisted up in anger while watching you walk right up into his face to give him a piece of your own mind. He knew right then and there, you were made perfectly and only for him. “Why don’t cha watch where you’re going you dumbass!” His own trademark saying, sounded magical coming from your mouth.
Tumblr media
Kirishima: He had almost given up hope, all his friends had found their soulmates. Or they just didn’t care about a world with color. Not him though, he wanted that special someone. He wanted to see beautiful colors, to see how the world truly looked. He sat there mulling it over at his favorite coffee shop, wallowing in sorrow more like it. Until the bright a red scarf passed by the window from outside.
He nearly tripped over himself as he rushed out the front door, passing by people. Keeping his eyes locked onto the scarf, before calling out to get your attention. Having you turn around with a smile that could rival the sun itself. You tilted your head at him and offered your hand out too him. “You have the most beautiful red eyes.” Is all you said back too him.
Tumblr media
Deku: He was one of those who was content without color, his friends explained colors enough to him for him to live through them. Hero work kept him busy enough that he tend to forget that he couldn’t see colors. It wasn’t until he was out on patrol, apprehending a villain that was trying to rob the local flower shop. Walking over to you, trying to make sure you were okay. Your brilliant green eyes made him speechless.
The stuttering couldn’t stop, his own cheeks felt bright hot while he tried to muster up something to say too you. It made you giggle, reaching into the flower case to present him a dyed spider lily that matched the color of his hair. Blush now creeping over the bridge of your nose before speaking. “Pro Hero Deku…? I hope you accept this as a thank you for saving me, I would like to see you again.”

PAST LIFE/SOUL
As this topic won in the poll it is time for some really fun deep lore on Klein laddies so sit and buckle up. First, we'll talk about the soul as that well later get into the past life better.
Klein doesn't have a normal soul. There's a fragment of an old soul that has attached itself to the new soul. Because of this, there are differences with how he looks compared to, well, we'll use the killer verse Klein as an example.
Klein vs the Spider lily Killer version of himself doesn't have the same hair color and their pupils are not the same in color as well. To add onto this Klein has a massive birthmark on his back that looks like something huge swiped at him from behind. Those are the biggest differences with looks. But another thing to add is Klein has much stronger reflexes than his killer counterpart and because of that if he's in any physical fights he seems to always counterattack with shocking speed.
However, because of the way the soul is, upon death the soul will split. But with that there is more that will happen on his death as the birthmark on his back is not just the mark of what killed his past life, but a curse. His death will have him have the same fate as his past self; to be erased by history to never be remembered.
Now onto the past life.
Many years ago, in Japan there existed a demon hunter by the name of Jun'ichi Yamamoto, he followed in his family's steps though he in time only started to kill select demons as he came to learn that not all demons are harmful and want to kill humans.
One of the most notable physical traits he had was the vivid red pupils that contrasted his emerald-green eyes. His hair was that of a dark greyish lavender. With scars that littered his body from past battles as well as a large burn over his left arm and shoulder.
He was known by everyone in his country, there were books written about him and a statue of him in one of the larger cities in the time.
Yet all that was known of him, including his bloodline was wiped, destroyed and gone in a day. Those that knew of the once brave samurai suffered memory loss or were found dead or remained missing to this day, and the few that may still know of him are either demons or immortals.
All this because he went to face a demonic false god on an island that costed him his life. The being ripped apart his soul, devouring a fragment of it while two other fragments drifted. One remaining in the blade he fought with and the other finding its way into the spirit world where it would remain and wait for the right time for an attempted at reincarnation.
It is lucky for him that the false god is bound to that island, though in years to come it shall set out its puppets to look for that soul that escaped, as it doesn't want even a fragment of that hunter to exist.
But the body of Jun'ichi...? It remains with the god, a soulless and lifeless puppet that will lay in wait for the day that fragment of his soul to return to that island where he will strike down that fragmented reincarnation of himself as the god wishes.
It is fitting for the soul to die where it originally split apart at after all...

Song Fic set to The Butterfly Effect by FJØRA
Chapter 1/8 - Verse 1 - cocooned in your own fear
cocooned in your own fear Adrien doesn’t think this is his fault. He’s home all day and he isn’t allowed out. Of course he’s going to explore. Of course he’s going to stick his nose into places that he shouldn’t. Of course he’s going to find things that were meant to be hidden away.
If anything, it’s his father’s fault for leaving the office empty and unlocked. Adrien knows he isn’t allowed in here, but how is he supposed to resist? How is he supposed to ignore his mother’s portrait? Why wouldn’t he reach out and touch her, as if he might be able to touch some memory of her. Adrien keeps her on the background of his computer, but his father keeps a larger-than-life shrine. Of course he would be drawn to it.
The golden splendor of the portrait is cool beneath Adrien’s fingers. He feels the catch between tiles and he tilts his head in surprise. He didn’t realize this was a mosaic, didn’t realize the colors are their own pieces of glass, pieces that shift beneath his fingers.
It isn’t his fault that he finds the ones that move, that give beneath the weight of his touch.
you never were here It’s warm in the basement beneath the house. His heart pounds and his ears ring as he crosses from the elevator to the illuminated platform. The lilies grow well in the artificial light and the carefully controlled heat and humidity, and they aren’t the only life form down here.
Adrien knows, somewhere deep in his gut, what he’s going to find before he reaches the glass case at the end of the walkway. Even then, when he finally gets close enough that the white lights no longer cast a glare on the glass, when he finally catches a glimpse of her face, his breath catches in his chest.
She looks asleep. He can see no breath in her lungs nor flutter in her eyes, but her smile is soft and her skin perfectly preserved. There’s no evidence of illness, no signs of decomposition.
Adrien presses his hand to the glass. He smudges dust and dew. Breath and sobs alike catch in his chest.
His mother is here. And if he understands the purpose of the green light indicator on her glass cocoon, she’s alive.
“Maman?” he manages, voice weak and eyes burning with tears. He pushes on the glass and it gives as easily as the hidden buttons of the portrait had. With a soft hiss of pressure released, there is now nothing between him and his mother.
He holds her to his chest and his tears flow freely. “Maman, it’s me,” he whispers. “Maman, it’s me,” he cries. “Maman, it’s me,” he begs with all he has, but she is still and unmoving. As if she were dead.
Though it feels like he is breaking every bone in his body, he sets her back down in her coffin-like bed. His tears persist, even as he tries to scrub his face dry.
“Maman,” he tries again, in a final desperate whisper, but his prayer goes unheard.
He can’t bring himself to close the glass again. His vision blurs with tears until he blinks them away.
In the overhead light, something glints on her black blouse. Adrien rubs his eyes again, but the glimmer does not resolve itself into a familiar shape. It’s a brooch, he thinks, but not one he’s ever seen before. Carefully, he unpins the fan-shaped brooch from her blouse and turns it over in his hands.
The metal is cool, and the pale blue enamel is threaded with a spider web of cracks. Adrien isn’t entirely sure how the pin manages to hold itself together. It glints again, even though he isn’t tilting it in the light. The five onyx gems that rest along the edge of the brooch glimmer with an internal light, like the eyes of a peacock come alive, and a creature, painted in the deepest indigo with brilliant red eyes both on its face and on its fan-shaped tail, appears before Adrien.
you always were somewhere else As the creature spins its tale, grief gives way to anger. A new agony settles into Adrien’s chest.
When his father returns, Adrien is waiting for him in his office. He has left the golden portrait wide open and wears the peacock proudly on his breast. He crosses his arms so that his father is sure to see that Adrien now wears his mother’s wedding ring. He wants no illusions about what he knows. He will not give his father an opportunity to lie.
“Adrien, what is this?”
Adrien watches the way his father’s eyes flick around the room, putting the pieces together. “I wanted to ask you that.”
Gabriel’s voice trembles low in his throat. “Where did you find that brooch?”
“Where do you think?”
“Take it off, now.”
“Why didn’t you tell me the truth?”
“Adrien, I am only protecting you—”
But his father’s hand reaches for the wedding band he still has not removed since Emilie’s memorial service and Adrien knows he’ll never be able to believe anything Gabriel says from here on.
“Duusu,” Adrien hisses before his father can attempt to command him, “spread my feathers.”
“Adrien, don’t!”
you lose you lose all the time It’s the spare second Gabriel gives him, warning him against activating the peacock miraculous that gives Adrien the upper hand.
Adrien did not expect his father to have a miraculous of his own, did not expect Gabriel to shout, “Nooroo, dark wings, rise!” but he’s unconcerned.
While Gabriel is donning his power, Adrien has already plucked a feather from his blue and black fan, just as Duusu had instructed him, and said, “Bring my my creation to life.”
The feather falls into a sheet of paper on Gabriel’s desk. As Adrien snatches the paper in his hand, a full ream springs to life and take a human-esque shape. It rushes at Gabriel, ignorant of the violet suit he is now cloaked in and the black cane with an amethyst head. Gabriel swipes the cane at the animated papers, but it only distorts the sentimonster’s form for a moment.
The paper leaps at Gabriel, lunging into him, smothering him the way Adrien has always felt smothered in this house.
Though the blue double-breasted suit of his transformation ought to be tight and restricting, it moves with Adrien as smoothly as liquid. He steps forward, and the paper parts for him. Adrien reaches for his father’s hand, even as Gabriel attempts to claw the paper from his face. Adrien’s focus is solely on the silver wedding band, and he fails to see the lavender butterfly that flits through the gaps between the animated papers and lands on the fan in Adrien’s hand.
“Listen to me,” his father’s voice echoes in his head, and all of Adrien’s grief and anguish seems to double.
“I’ve done nothing but listen! For fourteen years I’ve had no choice but to listen,” Adrien snarls back. His grief feels powerful. He clutches at it desperately, drawing it deeper into his chest.
“We can bring her back. With the power of the cat and ladybug miraculouses, we can bring her back. If you’d just listen—”
But Adrien is done listening. His head pounds as he tries to both claim this new power and reject his father’s offer. The magic does not seem interested in helping him without his father’s consent, but Adrien doesn’t care about what his father wants. It’s Adrien’s turn to decide what he wants.
With a shout, he reaches through the monstrous ream of papers, unbothered by the papercuts that tear through his magically constructed gloves. He grabs the butterfly-shaped brooch at his father’s throat. Gabriel grabs Adrien’s wrist. Adrien casts aside his fan and wrestles both brooch and ring from his father.
you never could shine you wish you could fly away Gabriel falls to the floor as the magic falls from his body. The paper continues to smother him, and its thin edges tear at his hands and cheeks.
“Adrien, stop this,” he says, voice as desperate as Adrien’s had been at his mother’s bedside.
But Adrien pins the butterfly brooch to his chest beside the peacock and studies the lavender kwami that appears before him. The butterfly that had flown into him, still charged with his father’s magic, flits around the room in search of a host. It seems undecided between Adrien’s grief and Gabriel’s desperation, something Adrien can now feel for himself, the way he knows the mind of his sentimonster, the way he can sense the feather split between his parents’ wedding rings.
He slides his father’s wedding band on top of his mother’s. He feels whole for a brief moment before something in his chest cracks. He grimaces through gritted teeth and sinks to one knee. The paper flutters weakly and swirls, but seems directionless, without target.
Gabriel takes the opportunity to sit up. “Adrien—”
But Adrien picks up the fan and holds it out at his father in a warning. The paper reforms with intention, even as Adrien clutches his chest.
“Adrien, this will kill you.”
Adrien’s upper lip curls, revealing his clenched teeth. “It can’t kill me,” he spits out, “if I’m not alive to begin with.”

"My eyes are insufferable."
______________________
I simply wanted to post a drabble of my favourite oc
~
His gentle and skinny fingers grazed the red spider lily he just watered, his touch so soft as if it’d break. The shop had just opened, the sun’s soft light hitting against the building and flowers. His silky white hair was reflecting the star’s shine, his eyes squinting a bit due to their light ocean color.
The florist was watering his flowers with care and kindly rearranging the bouquets before clients came in, making sure everything was perfect. Early customers were not usual, it was out of habit.
Minutes later, he went in to get himself a glass of water, but he came to a halt and faced the mirror in his hallway, staring.
His pale skin was so sickening. The eyebags under his eyes were reflecting the painful hours of sleep he had each night, and he felt like his own gaze was showing all the struggles he desperately tried to hide from everyone despite its ethereal color. His hair was an absolute mess, though it gets him compliments. His hand reached out the metal imitating his face, wishing he could crush it.
He then heard the bell indicating someone came in, then followed by his best friend’s voice, calling out for him and breaking him from his stance. He glanced at himself again, a sigh slipping through his chapped lips as he tied up his white hair in a bun and finally went to greet her, a small forced smile on his face.

I hope you're ready for more random aus I might or might not write KEKW
This ones a smidge darker also not explicitly described but TW for suicide mention
Blorbos death au rotating on my mind
After the end of four swords (following manga) the goddesses were impressed by shadow links change that they gave him an option: be at peace in death, or come back and serve them. He chooses to serve them in hopes he can come back to link(Vio)
They make him the god of death. Give him the typical hoodie and scythe get up. Only thing that changes about him is that he physically ages as link does until adulthood when he'll stop growing and his eyes have black scleras.
Vio finds out after a magic accident where he dies. He sees Shadow and Shadow sends him back. He's the god of death he does what he wants ™
Vio has several secret "accidents" to see him again and Shadow gets a magic necklace from farore who pities them and is awed by the reckless abandon of Vio's life for just a glimpse of his soulmate. Vio can now always see shadow when he's around. If there's enough death energy shadow can physically manifest for him. Doesn't happen for a long while.
Insert LU situation few years later
Early on ish in the adventure?
They're transported into an empty battlefield. Recently finished maybe a week ago tons of bodies from both sides. Shadow appears they both don't think anyone else can see him physically manifest. Comes up behind Vio, clawed hand up his neck with a soft squeeze and the other around his waist. Leans in real close from behind. A greeting not to startle him and also to give affection. While he's cat rubbing against his cheek and squishing it. Soft little "hello love," because he's with other heroes and they still don't think anyone can see shadow until wind starts screaming. (They were in the back of the groupl
Apparently other people don't see shadow. Only their eras link (the colors) can. So it looks like some fucked up skeleton Eldritch thing is feeling up their archer. Then they're like holy shit it's the personification of death and it's touching Vio who is the group weirdo ™ how isn't he dead he is getting smooched by death on the cheek. (it leaves a lil black lip mark like lipstick would that fades after a few hours)
Only legend and time remain sorta calm and are like "love?? Wtf is happening? Why does the four links look like they've seen a ghost except Vio? Why is this skeleton thing death touching him?? Is Vio dating death??" Everyone else is panik
It takes a LOT of talking the team down and very angry color squad at keeping this from them. At first they all get an abridged version since Vio clearly has not told them he's died. Multiple times. Most of which on purpose. And that he's kinda technically immortal because shadow refuses to reap his soul and just returns it. (Later plot to reveal he hasn't aged at all since the first accidental death where shadow returned him which is why he is the shortest no blue it is not because he doesn't drink his milk or eat properly or get any sunlight )
Cue the "is that why you're so creepy?" From someone with no filter
It also takes a hot minute for them to realize that they are seeing a version of shadow link and everyone else sees skeleton with clawed bone hands
His form dissipates mid convo and now only Vio can see and hear him because the energy's worn off. Cue more slight panik and suspicion over why he can see him what's the actual details before Vio breaks down and tells them the truth about it. Nicely of course.
That he had been using a meld of his earth life magic and shadows old dark magic to try and bring him back and it wasn't working and not that he knew at the time but it was because shadow had been blessed by the goddesses to become their servant and. How it backfired on him and slapped his life away and he saw shadow and then woke up with red spider lilies braided into his hair.
And how he did that a few times and always woke up like that until he woke up alive like that with a necklace and Shadow hovering over him worried and hopeful. And that the necklace allows him "sight into death's door". Accidentally reveals he sees souls of dead people too sometimes if they're strong enough, shy look over at time (mask spirits)
Nooot sure if I wanna take that into a dnd ish warlock type of thing they accidentally made a warlock pact with shadow as his patron?

Weeping Willows & Spider Lilies ~ Chapter 1
Warnings!: Mentions of death/murder, funeral, alcoholism, & characters debate sewer slide.
------------------------------------------------------------
Rhysand's younger sister had been murdered centuries ago. Brutalized by Tamlin's father. He still had nightmares and vivid flashbacks of holding her cold, lifeless body in his arms with Cassian and Azriel next to him. He had sobbed and screamed into her bloodied chest and slit throat until his own throat was raw, cursing the Cauldron and the Mother while begging his little sister to blink. Terror had been frozen into her golden skinned face but her feline violet eyes, while wide in fear, were dull. Lifeless. Dead. Her wings, once large and swirling with all the colors of the universe were tattered and mangled, her second pair only hanging on by a few tendons. Only her main pair of wings were able to be healed by the three Illyrian's magic. The unrelated brothers were never quite the same after taking it upon themselves to bury her and clean her gold flecked blood from their hands.
Rhysand and Cassian buried her under the glowing wisteria tree in the Townhouse gardens with the silent help of Azriel. The space under the tree had been the source of many happy memories between the brother sister duo as well as with Azriel, Cassian, Tamlin, and even Eris and little Lucien. All of those memories seemed to be haunting reminders at that moment. When Rhys finished patting down the dirt of the freshly dug grave, the three bat boys watched as the tree sagged like a weeping willow and Spider Lilies sprouted around the grave. Cassian watched as the new High Lord sunk to his knees and just stared before the shock and numbness finally clicked in Cass' mind. His childhood crush was gone. Gone before he could even say anything. Gone before he could hope that a mating bond would click into place. That thought alone brought the bastard born Cassian to his knees with a wail loud enough to shake the heavens. Azriel had only known Rhys' little sister for a little while, but the pain managed to cut deep enough for him to kneel down and join the other two males in their mourning. The three of them wrapped their wings around each other as much as possible, trying to find comfort in each other over this shared loss but to very little avail.
The sky had clouded over all of Prythian before the skies opened up and down poured for weeks, as if it too, was mourning the loss of the Half-Illyrian female. She was dead. The headstone surrounded by Spider Lilies was proof enough and more times than he could count, did Azriel stumble across Rhysand leaving a bouquet of flowers at the base of the ornately carved stone or Cassian dozing off with his head resting on the top of it.
The carnage Rhysand brought upon the Spring Court was unlike any other. He didn't attack directly but he left "gifts" and sent "messages", each more disturbing than the last. It only died down after the war when there was less of a reason to murder innocent faeries.
There was a giant funeral in the heart of the Night Court a few days later and the entirety of the Autumn Court had made an appearance, bringing the scent of cinnamon, campfires, and apple cider with them. They turned the dark leaves of every tree brilliant shades of reds and oranges that caught the moonlight in an enchanting way. The High Lord and Lady led the way with their sons, the youngest held in the Lady's arms. He was only a child at the time but his russet eyes still shimmered with unshed tears. Eris and Rhys had nearly tore Tamlin to shreds on sight when they saw him approach the casket and place a bouquet of pink, blue, purple, orange, and white Crocuses on the dark wood. Cassian had been the only one able to calm the Half-Illyrian down past murderous intent but even then, Rhysand found himself striding over to the High Lord of the Spring Court with a glare lethal enough to kill even the strongest creature, his violent, violet eyes piercing into sad forest green and gold ones.
"Look what you could've prevented, Tamlin," Rhys had spat before turning on his heel and following the casket back to under the Weeping Wisteria tree. They had to dig her back up as Rhysand couldn't bear the thought of letting worms and insects eat her immediately. Eris, Cassian, and the rest of the Vanserra family followed suit, wanting to say their final goodbyes before anyone else. Eris had briefly debated plunging the ornately decorated dagger she had gifted him years ago into his chest but ultimately decided if he did, she'd tear him a new one for not living his life to the fullest.
Rhysand's mother's headless, wingless body had fallen to a pile of stardust before he could even think of bringing her back to the Night Court with him. Where her head was, he had no idea. She and his father were commemorated as well but most of the focus was on the little sister who hadn't even come of age yet. Her and her mother's deaths were unnecessary and cruel.
There were multiple times during the months after her death that Rhysand nearly drank himself to death after his day of playing the High Lord ended, only stopping when someone would wrench the bottle and glass from his shaking hands. Sometimes Cassian joined him but it always ended in Azriel dragging someone to their bedchamber. Cassian spent most of his time back in the Illyrian training camp, forcing himself to get stronger and better so he would be able to protect those he loved.
He wouldn't lose anyone else if he had any say in it.
After a few years, Azriel had finally managed to get Rhysand to stop drowning himself in whatever expensive liquor he could find and nudged him down the path of acceptance. The Night Court needed a mentally stable High Lord as soon as possible if Rhys wanted his court to be as powerful as him.
"It's what Lola would want though, Rhys." That's all it took for Rhysand to make up his mind because Az was right. His lovely little sister wouldn't want him to wallow in his sadness over her. She'd want to be remembered in a happier light. Celebrated even...

Hello! I just found you and your clothes are amazing!
Out of curiosity, I’ve noticed some circle specific patterns used for the skater and midi, but I don’t think I’ve seen any maxi circle skirts… do you think you’d ever make some, or even just the circle specific patterned ones, or is it a matter of being just too much fabric?
Hi! Thank you & thanks for being here!!
So this explanation is gonna require a bit of a 🌟Journey Through Time🌟! Get ready for a long answer. (Short version: maxis are just really new)
I ended up thinking about this a lot, because I couldn't even remember my own timeline fully, but here it is:
Made my first skaters - 2015
Joggers, all-over-print tshirts - early 2018
Skirts gained pockets!, first midi - late 2018
Finally made more midis, first solid color skirt - 2020
First gradients introduced - early 2022
Maxis - spring 2022
Skaters go so far back that when I first started selling them it was at con tables that looked like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you ever saw me at a con back in this era, you a real one
So for "circle specific patterns" if you mean one's like the Ouija Board or Demon/Angel Summoning, they were first introduced back when I only had skaters.
In 2020, I finally started to make more midis (only one I had for quite a while was Polkat Dot). Midis quickly became much more popular than skaters, so in 2021 I focused on adding more midi designs (and solid colors which were also more popular than my older designs).
2021 also was my first BIG hit design with the Spider Lily Midis. Which at the time was only on midis & then a variant on joggers.
So, 2022! I knew going in that Maxis would be introduced in the spring. I just had two at first, and they're both not exactly circle designs. Emergence is kinda a combo of a repeating pattern and a circle design, Queen of the Night is just a large motif.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My next chance to add more maxi options was during spring preorders. I didn't have enough time to make straight up new designs, so I needed to pick from existing designs and modify them to fit onto maxis. I went with designs that had already proven popular and wouldn't take a long time to rework for maxis (Spider Lily, Apathy & Spring Fever Gradients, Solid Black, Creepy Eyes, Polkat Dot). Out of all of these, Spider Lily is really the only one that's a "circle design".
Tumblr media
After that, in 2022 I had plans for a summer collection, and for a bunch of reasons (including that it was summer, so shorter skirts would be more in demand) I didn't include maxis in that set. The two circle designs in that collection are Jealous Flame & Poisoned Apple. Jealous Flame was very well recieved & I think it'd work well on a maxi, so I'll very likely make that available later this year.
Shortly after that collection went up, a lot of things happened and a lot of things changed. I ended up running fall preorders with less new designs than I'd originally intended. One was another hybrid repeating pattern + circle design maxi, a variant on my Blue Rose midi design.

That pretty much brings us up to date! There are a lot of designs I haven't turned into maxis yet just because there hasn't been enough time. Ones you can expect this year include the Agony gradient, Jealous Flame, maybe Red Rose, and then a number of new not yet revealed designs. The majority of my existing "circle designs" are still only on skaters, are pretty old (most are circa. 2017), and they're not very popular compared to newer designs. I'm not sure if I'll go back and make them work on midis/maxis because I think at this point I'd rather redo them (plans are in place to redo my Demon Summoning design, as an example) or just make completely new designs. I have so many ideas and relatively so little time (and funds), so I have to be very selective about what designs I release, what designs I retire, and what I put on which type of clothing.
I'm sure this is wayyyy more answer than you bargained for, haha. But I hope it was interesting to hear some history! This has also reminded me that I really want to put together a timeline/design graveyard page on Witch Vamp. Little do many of you know that before Witch Vamp was Witch Vamp, things started off with skirts like this:

October 26: Royalty | Destiny
I had no clue what to write for this prompt so you’re getting... mildly on-topic prompt but not really?

The palace of the Preeminent looms above Morro; it looks like any decrepit castle around more abandoned, neglected areas. While those weren’t turned into sad sorry pieces of civilization irresponsibly caused by the people leaving them to rot, this one was meant to rot. It was a message spread across the Realm, that no matter how decrepit and rotting they are, they are still meant to stand tall. Morro didn’t feel the sense of pride and justice that should have been resting upon his shoulders when he saw it for the first time ever. Although, perhaps he should find it in himself to feel wonder at gazing upon the Head’s first landmark; while the castle was something he is not thoroughly impressed about (it reminded him too much of when he and Wu continue going through neglected civilization) everything else around him was a wide garden, with a looming wall separating him from fully seeing what is in the Head of the Preeminent. It was honestly disappointing; he knows he didn’t deserve Paradise until he had not accomplished his mission, but she was simply teasing his curiosity at this point.
He was the Preeminent’s special person— while other Cursed, common ghosts were not allowed in the Head, he was so he could meet with his Mistress personally. While he would have preferred she just talk to him through his mind like a haunting current of wind, there was this splice of comfort spreading through him when he realizes his thoughts can be projected loudly in his own brain, without the Preeminent reminding him that she was there before cutting one of his limbs off again. Honestly, it was getting really tiring at this point.
So, maybe he does need this meeting with the Preeminent.
When he takes a step closer to the castle, he finds a spider lily blooming across the gardens. The flower was a sign of death, so he walks forward.
When he reaches the door of the castle, someone else opens it for him.
A young man, who was — biologically speaking — no older than he is, with strawberry red hair tainted by the sick green that abides in this Realm, eyes that seem to never have a set color aside from cold blues or frosty whites, marks just like Morro’s except his looks like tears running down his face, a gaunt, slim figure towering over Morro’s body.
Two thoughts have already been situated in his mind as he watches the young man, who was also observing him.
One, he seems to have this ghostly feeling he met him already and that he’s an Elemental Master when it comes to this assumption.
Two, he thinks that he’s the most aesthetically pleasing person he’s ever seen in this Realm.
However, his suspiciousness and urgency to meet the Preeminent give him temporary time to think about the sweltering emotions inside of his chest as he moves forward, knocking the young man out of the way. Which, to people who weren’t in the Cursed Realm right now, would have been considered rude, but Morro didn’t care about formalities anymore.
What shocks him slightly is the fact that the young man speedwalks to catch up to him, his eyes firmly planted ahead. He has a constant, aloof look on his face as if he is giving off the air that he didn’t care about anything at all, but his hands were fidgeting, clutching the hem of his robes.
The halls were a boring gray, with some walls destroyed or decaying, emphasizing the idea they’ll be withering in this Realm long enough they forget they are human.
He’s seen it happen in his own eyes; his own comrades of his losing faith in their humanity, subsequently turning into monsters that hunt the air or lurk in the ground. They are so hungry.
He turns to the young man currently accompanying him; judging by his eyes, he didn’t have a semblance of his humanity left anymore and is just resuming this form to look subtly courteous.
Silence fills the hallway, and Morro feels his eyes on him whenever he thinks that he isn’t observing the way he is.
So, feeling another one of those eyes aimed at him, Morro lets out a breathless sigh. Okay, he’ll bite; he didn’t want to be stuck in a quiet hallway with someone who seems to be anxious about talking to him. Besides, it also feels like he was a guide so, while he is not the best and hates talking, he has to try.
“What are you supposed to be?” He asks, dropping all pretenses. No such thing as introductions in this Realm.
The man’s eyes furrow, as he wrings his hands together. Much to Morro’s bewilderment, his expression retains that same aloofness, but it’s paired up with confusion. “...Huh?”
Morro rolls his eyes. “Are you a guard? Or a guide? Or someone from these Paradisiacal snoots who wants to gloat about how they got the best seats?”
The red-haired man only furrows his brows deeper. “I’m not any of those.” The hallways fall silent again as he refuses to elaborate like any sensible person would do when they are asked a question about their status.
So Morro gives him one of his deadpan glares before asking once more. “Then, what are you?”
His eyes flit briefly to him. “Her husband.”
This prompts Morro to do a double-take, sputtering and stopping near one of the paintings depicting a beautiful woman smiling. The young man stops as well, staring at him with a blank look Morro wishes was ironic. This is when he takes in his appearance for the first time— armor that looks so expensive it can cut glass. Robes that were woven from silk and other expensive fabrics. The way his own shoes were looking newer like he didn’t die in them.
He finds himself groaning; why was he even surprised at this point?
“Her husband.”
“Yes.”
“You’re her spouse?”
“Yes.”
“... You’re not joking?”
The man gives him a look, as if he finds himself incredulous over the fact that he would be taking his status as a jest. There was something funny about the expression, because it looks almost like Wu does whenever he talks to someone he wasn’t romantically interested in. “Why would I joke about this?”
Morro waves a hand, attempting to dismiss the entire conversation that’s transpired. There’s more cursed things in this Realm than awkward conversations. “Ugh, I was just asking and verifying whether or not you were bluffing with me.”
This, somehow, makes the man more confused than he ever was before. “Why would I be bluffing with you?”
He sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. He so badly wants to get out of here, immediately. “Can’t you just show me where the Mistress is? I have a meeting with her.”
This prospect, however, awakens his more active side, which was probably hiding underneath all that perceived passive energy he’s been exuding until now. Like a blizzard in the winter, his eyes become as sharp as frozen icicles that hang in the caves and whatever harsh surroundings he was in.
“That’s where I’m taking you.” His voice was colder this time, but there was a fiery obligation there as well.
The Master of Wind, however, was nonplussed, even when he feels winter across the room. He isn’t sure if it was winter, because it’s been a while since he had even felt the frequent fall of snow. He died in the Sea of Sand, after all.
“You’re doing a good job taking me there.”
To his exasperation, the man nods, as if he couldn’t even sense the sarcasm and wittiness in Morro’s statement.
They walk once more, silence falling between them again.
Then, the young man is the one that speaks first. “My name is Hideaki Fujimori. I’ve been here for thousands of years.”
Morro nods, not making an attempt at processing the introduction. He has more important things to worry about than a person’s name, thank you very much. Although, those same feelings of familiarity he’s dismissed when he first met him returned in full-force. He didn’t know where he met him, trying to find references in his life where he had seen Hideaki anywhere, only for it to end up null. It’s what happens to Cursed Ghosts when they are first taken to this Realm; they mostly forget anything in their old life other than the source of their anger and bitterness, until their memories gradually unfade like water rushing back to them.
When he thinks of Hideaki, he thinks of small hands attempting to open a book, before it was closed by his former master in light of a better book.
He frowns. Maybe this would be a great time to remember that, while Cursed ghosts do not have manners, perhaps Cursed ghosts who have dignity, which he does have, excuse you, will introduce themselves too. “I’m Morro.” He doesn’t speak about his last name. It was a part of his life he will never be brought back, forever decaying in his mind as he too, becomes deprived of the title that he was worth about.
“I know, my wife told me to look out for you.”
The Master of Wind scowls, biting back any snarky comment he has aimed toward Hideaki. Isn’t he the Preeminent’s husband? Should he treat him with respect?
“So, are you like Royalty or something?”
Hideaki shrugs his shoulders. “Well, if you want me to be, alright then.” There was a smile hidden in his voice, and Morro lowkey wonders if he’s had the chance or time to joke about his actual status. Maybe not, if he was being such a simple-minded prude.
Morro thinks of two things at once: one, whether or not should start calling the Preeminent Queen instead of Mistress, and two, there is no way in hell he is calling Hideaki King.
They reach the doors of the Preeminent, and Hideaki stops at the sight of it. Not bumping at the taller man’s back was considered an achievement, but he supposes that he already knew what the door’s intricate patterns entailed before he had the chance to look at it.
Green-gold eyes look at wide, blue ones.
It takes Hideaki a hair-pulling moment to speak about it. “... My wife is waiting for you.”
Morro sighs, rolling his eyes. “I know.”
Without hearing Hideaki's response — he’s not even sure he has a response — Morro opens the door, feeling an unsettling cold that was so unlike the other man’s atmosphere settling in his corporeal form.

super soft intimacy omg......... can i have kuujyu (ofc) with the pressing kisses on shoulders? 🥺🥺💜 thank you 💕💕💕
Title: Fight and Flight Fandom: Hypnosis Mic Pairing: KuuJyu Prompt: Pressing kisses on shoulders Content: Yokai AU, Tengu!Jyushi, not so hidden hitojaku mention because I'm insane.
Loud excited laughter echoed in the silent forest as the two teenagers walked down the mountain path. Attentive blue eyes followed every step they took, every move they made. Jyushi was still a young yokai, but he knew his duty already: protect the hidden village. If the couple ended up on the wrong path, he knew he would have to wear his mask and spread his black wings to scare them away. He also knew the chances for that to happen were pretty low.
Jyushi had observed the two for some time now, understanding they had come to the mountain to collect some herbs and… to be alone apparently. Safely out of sight, he had seen the small kisses and kind hugs they had exchanged between childish giggles. Tiny tokens of affection, exchanges of love that had left him just a little curious.
It wasn’t like he hadn’t seen those gestures before. Yokai weren’t that subtle when expressing or showing their feelings. Even his mentor, who tended to be more uptight, melted when his uwabami friend was around.
He gave the couple one last look while they were heading in the opposite direction from the hidden village and decided it was time to go find the only human he knew.
It was almost funny how Kuko, that was his name, was the first person to appear in his mind when thinking about more intimate and romantic things. It wasn’t like the monk was kinder or gentler than the rest of his acquaintances, but he was able to capture Jyushi’s attention whenever they were together.
Jumping from a tree to another, the young spirit reached a small open area at the base of the mountain. There, right next to a waterfall and a natural pool, he recognized the figure of Kuko. He was sitting on a smooth rock, his robe lowered to let the chest exposed. He was meditating, as Jyushi had expected. In the few years they had known each other, Jyushi had learnt the monk hated to be disturbed while meditating, so he just sat down next to him, careful not to bother the man with his presence.
Kuko was unique. He didn’t look like any other human or yokai Jyushi had ever seen. His hair was as red as the spider lilies that covered the highland beneath the mountain. His eyes were the same color of the resin he found on many trees in the forest. Jyushi could spend his entire existence thinking about what made Kuko so different and… endearing.
He ended up observing the monk’s face more. With his eyes closed, he looked both calm and concentrated. His face was completely relaxed. Not even a crease ruined his fair skin. As he was thinking about how Kuko’s cheeks were still kind of chubby even if he had aged in the last few years, he also wondered what it would feel like to touch them. With his own hands or… with his lips, like the couple he had seen that same morning.
No, no. He shook his head. He could never do that. He would disturb him.
He lowered his eyes in shame, just to let them fall on the exposed skin of Kuko’s shoulder. Jyushi wanted only to know what it felt like, nothing more. Maybe… maybe that spot wouldn’t bother him that much.
Gathering up his courage, he moved a little to place his lips on the other’s shoulder. He could feel the natural warmth coming from his skin and he would be lying to himself if he said that was enough. No. He wanted to feel more, to touch more. Jyushi closed his eyes and left a few more kisses, trying to satisfy the unusual hunger growing in his stomach.
“Jyushi?”
It was as if somebody had thrown cold water at him and set his clothes on fire at the same time. He froze on the spot, lips still touching Kuko’s body. He felt his face getting warmer.
“Jyus-”
Before the monk could finish, the tengu spirit got up and opened his wings. With a small jump, he took flight, leaving only a few dark feathers behind.
