hey all welcome to me rating hq schools based on how homophobic they are on completely arbitrary-not-arbitrary rules LET’S GET IT

(i feel like i need to clarify that high score = not at all homophobic and that low score = disgustingly homophobic hope that helps!!)

karasuno: 1000000/100000 i’m including BOTH teams in this to represent the whole school boys’ vbc i don’t even think i have to cite reasons BUT girls’ vbc i just know that poor little underclassman had a heart attack when michimiya grabbed her face like that

seijoh: i’m going to take off a point right off the bat bc i wanted to deck oikawa so bad the first time i saw him. 9/10 the day is saved because kyoutani and yahaba put so much yearning into that one panel and also because kindaichi has multiple breakdowns over what kageyama means to him every few days or so. kunimi would commit gay-on-gay crime but i’ll allow that he has the right to

date tech: i know for a fact we’ve all been kogane at some point in our lives and also i’m pretty sure all the first and second years were in love with moniwa at some point. onagawa’s nickname is pantalones. aone hyper focuses on the aces of rival teams. having nametsu as a manager is mlmwlw solidarity. 4/10 i took points away because futakuchi is a little bitch and isn’t afraid to show it and would accidentally come across as homophobic in the process when he isn’t

shiratorizawa: see this is tough bc tendou reads all that shounen and semi is SO gender and probably holes himself up in the dorm writing song lyrics about having the biggest crush on tendou and also goshiki and shirabu are obviously pining for their upperclassmen but ushijima has some SERIOUS repression going on and washijou looks like he’d say that being gay is a disease BUT i do think he’s open to learning so like. 6.5/10?

johzenji: they have cute nicknames for each other AND i think they’d kiss the homies good night. also terushima fell in love with daichi within the span of fifteen seconds. 7/10 i took away points because they think saying “no homo” while holding hands stops it from being homo

kakugawa: komaki, asamushi, and minamida all rotate the brain cell between them. they all look like middle schoolers next to hyakuzawa to the point where i keep forgetting they’re not. komaki does the glasses push so i’m giving extra for that. 7.5/10 because when hyakuzawa comes out to them they freak out (out of concern and trying to figure out how to best handle it!) and then freak hyakuzawa out so everyone is just freaking out for a full five minutes

wakunan: nakashima and tabi deserved SO MUCH MORE also i love tabi’s hair so 11/10 the extra 1 is for their break down

nekoma: 1000000.5/10 mostly because i’m biased but hello???? we have DIVERSITY here we can go rivals to lovers AND childhood friends to lovers AND friends to lovers all in one team. nekomata is self-explanatory. the .5 is because i already mentioned before that lev would be such a top tier ally if he wasn’t already swooning over kenma and yaku

fukurodani: akaashi will go on tangents about how historians will say they were just best friends. whenever yukie and kaori cuddle in front of everyone konoha makes gagging noises bc of how sickeningly sweet they are. it’s funny but i’ll be taking points off for that and also because bokuto once got the school computers infected with a virus trying to google “two guys making out”. 2/10

shinzen & ubugawa: i’m putting them together bc daiki and masaki are in love and eri and mako are in love. they go on double dates all the time and also chigaya is a bro he gets trusted with all the secret “dude i think i’m _____” talks and never tells a single soul about them 100/100

itachiyama: iizuna is the mlm awakening at itachiyama. iizuna was SAKUSA’S awakening. komori and sakusa fight because they say can’t both be the gay cousin. whenever iizuna interrupts their bickering they call him homophobic. 9/10 i subtracted a point because their uniforms make me want to claw my eyes out

nohebi: we all know daishou had a thing for kuroo way back when so like. also have you seen hiroo’s hair? those bangs are emo as hell what even is that. 8/10 because they’ll be homophobic against other teams in the middle of the goddamn game to bait them and the only reason they haven’t lost MORE points for that is bc i love kuguri

inarizaki: -117478492/10 i’ll fight miya atsumu myself. i don’t think he’s homophobic he just pisses me off sometimes

kamomedai: they get 475828929392/??? just because i love them so much

mujinazaka: usuri instills fear and admiration in me. also unann and mami are basically an old divorced couple who want to get back together but don’t know how to. honda probably gets shit on a lot for having his whole entire name sounding like car dealerships. ezo is the only one with a brain cell and for that i’ll give 8.5/10

niiyama: maiko doesn’t even know there are labels for it she just thinks girls are pretty and she’d kill for them 500/10

tsubakihara: the headbands are really cute and i like their motto 100/100

"Are you ready? You can sit with me if you'd like."

Kiyoko had offered me to sit beside her on the bus. We had been invited to a week-long training camp by the Shinzen. Even Aoba Johsai would be there too.

"Sure, thanks Kiyoko." I smiled, climbing to one of the front seats with her.

I snagged the window seat, wanting to watch the stars. Knowing I wouldn't be able to sleep on the way here, I stayed up. The fear of someone crashing the bus keeping me up.

Getting into my bag, I squeezed my stuffy's arm to calm myself. Usually, I'd have time to regress, but since we're going to be somewhere else, it would be almost impossible.

Even if both of my caregivers were going to be there. I still didn't want to risk it and get made fun of.

It was exceptionally hard to have both of my significant others in a different school too. I knew they'd be working hard and practicing, and it was about thirty minutes from my house to theirs.

The entire night, I watched Coach Ukai and our adviser, Takeda, switch between driving.

Somehow, during the night, my stomach started to churn, giving me a sick feeling. I didn't bother telling anyone because it would only cause trouble.

I never get sick during car rides, so I thought that must be it. I was just car sick.

Thinking by the time morning came about, it'd be gone. Just to my luck, it got worse.

It was like pins and needles had been continuously poking and prodding my abdomen.

I had to constantly keep my face a poker face and refrain from holding my stomach. I didn't want to cause any suspicion or worry.

"(Y/n)? Are you okay? You seem quieter than usual." I heard Kiyoko ask beside me while I was walking, going to put our stuff down in the managerial room.

All the managers from each team had an entire room to ourselves since all of us were girls.

"Y-Yes. I'm fine." I gave her a painful smile, trying to tell her I was alright.

I heard a bus across the lot pull to a stop, and it turned out to be Seijoh.

"Move your ass, Shittykawa." I heard my lover's voice, which soothed me. I practically relaxed while standing because of it.

"So mean, Iwa-chan."

Turning towards the voices, I watched them both, lovingly. But I refused to go over there, despite how much I wanted to; if I did, I'd melt into their arms.

Taking a deep breath in, hoping it would soothe my stomach. No such luck.

I quickly moved along with Kiyoko and Yachi, not wanting to be left behind when they started walking.

As the day drawn on, the pains in my stomach were getting so harsh. I even developed a headache that was pounding in my skull.

It was like the world was out to get me or something.

To make matters worse, I could hardly do my job as a manager due to switching between my headspaces. It felt like my mind was breaking in half.

I had managed to stay away from the two boys, but I was noticed by almost everyone else.

My head was loopy, making my footing weird as I walked to dinner.

"Are you sure you're okay? You haven't eaten anything today, and you're not eating dinner." I heard Sugawara say to me from across the table.

It was true; I had been pushing my food around, playing with it. I couldn't even eat because of the pain.

"I'm fine; I just am tired. I'm going to go take a shower, then go to bed." I reassured them, pushing my chair back, with a forced small smile.

I didn't care if my team's eyes were watching my every move, but I locked eyes with Oikawa and Iwaizumi on my way out.

As I turned the corner, tears brimmed my eyes just a bit. I wanted nothing more than to run into their arms and have them take care of everything. To take care of me.

I grabbed my futon in the manager's room and got it ready, but decided to lay down for a few minutes. An uneasy feeling settling in my stomach.

But when my head finally laid down, I was out like a light.

My eyes shot open, and I could feel bile rising in my throat. Immediately covering my mouth, I got up and rushed to find a bathroom.

There wasn't one in the room, but I did find one down the hall. I quickly slumped to my knees and let it all out within the, thankfully, clean porcelain toilet.

Tears welled in my eyes, wanting nothing more than the comfort of my daddies. I sobbed into the toilet, my body feeling hot and the salty tears trailing down my cheeks. My sorrow filled sobs echoed in the empty bathroom.

My stomach wasn't any better; it seemed to have gotten even worse. It was to the point where I couldn't even move if I wanted to.

I lay there sobbing, heavily deep in little space, sick. Another round of bile came about, which I released once again.

My left arm was hugging my stomach as my right one gave me support to lean on. I could feel my nose becoming stuffy, which only made me cry harder.

"D-Daddy." I hiccupped and whined, wanting them to take care of everything.

Whimpers escaped my mouth as I heard the door open. I was wishing for my daddies but was met with Kiyoko.

My eyes widened, "Please don't laugh at me! I just want my daddies!" I sobbed louder, afraid my secret would be out, snot running from my nose.

Kiyoko crouched down to my sickened state and started to soothingly rub my shoulders.

"I won't laugh, I promise. Can you tell me who your daddies are?"

"Tōru and H-Haijme." I squeezed my eyes shut as another wave of pain came from my stomach.

"Will you be alright while I go get them?" Kiyoko asked, still rubbing my shoulders.

I slowly nodded, taking a sharp intake of air.

Kiyoko had fast-walked to Aoba Johsai's room. She didn't want to leave (Y/n) in there by herself, especially in this condition.

She quietly opened the door, not trying to wake anyone. Kiyoko had walked inside, but to her dismay, she found two futons empty.

Huffing a bit, she turned around, exiting their room.

When she left, she accidentally bumped into the two people she had needed to find.

"Karasuno's manager? What are you doing up?" Oikawa had asked, eyeing her suspiciously.

"I think I have your little girl in the bathroom. She's asking for you two and seems quite sick."

The entire reason Iwaizumi and Oikawa were up anyway was to find the manager's room. They wanted to check up on their little girl, who had been avoiding them all day.

When those words left Kiyoko's mouth, they rushed to follow her into a bathroom.

I looked up from my slouching spot on the tiled bathroom floor after hearing the door slam open.

My half-lidded eyes recognized the two beings. "Daddy!" I cried, wanting to be in their embrace and take care of me.

A frantic look came upon both of their faces as they crouched down to where I was.

"Sweetie, what happened?"

"Baby, are you bleeding?"

They both asked simultaneously, and I looked down at the shorts I had been wearing during the day.

The gray shorts were leaking red liquid, causing a mess on me and the floor.

My eyes widened as I looked up, my eyes tearful. I began to apologize, sobbing louder unable to control my emotions in this state.

Haijme engulfed me in his strong arms, cuddling me softly. I leaned on his chest, relaxing.

I heard Tōru ask Kiyoko for any lady products I could use. While he was away, Iwaizumi picked me up in bridal style and he got a bubble bath ready.

He cleaned me up an brushed my teeth, too. All the while, I became sleepier as he whispered sweet nothingness into my ear.

Oikawa came back with a large shirt, his boxers, and some pads.

"Here, baby," Haijme gave me a glass of water and a couple of pills.

I easily swallowed them, trying to keep my eyes open and refrain from yawning.

Tōru picked me up while Iwaizumi had gone somewhere else.

I cuddled against Oikawa's chest while he carried me to his team's room.

Setting me down softly on a futon—well, two futons pushed together. He covered me up with the blankets.

Hajime came back with my (f/c) pacifier and stuffie.

He gently set the paci in my mouth while I brought (stuffies/name) closer to me.

Both of them wrapped their arms around me. They cradled me all night, knowing that there was a possibility of us getting into trouble in the morning.

Oikawa had started running his hands through my hair, while Iwaizumi gently massaged my stomach. That was all I needed to go to sleep peacefully this time.

When morning finally rolled around, most of the team was up. Well except for Iwaizumi, Oikawa, and (Y/n), who were still sleeping.

That morning, the guys had taken many pictures of the three of them. They laughed in adoration silently, not daring to wake them up.

But as always, there wouldn't be a day that went by when they wouldn't dare let their captain and vice captain get into trouble.

So they made up excuses till Oikawa and Iwaizumi awoke. The both of them staring at your beautiful sleeping form.

They kissed your forehead and cheek then wrote a small note on each side of you.

Once they were ready, they announced that you were sick and needed to be kept in bed all day.

Then everyone got confused as to why they, out of all people, would announce that.

"What did you do to our precious manager?" said by none other than Noya and Tanaka.

"She's our girlfriend," Iwaizumi answered, unbothered.

It seems as if Tanaka and Noya had frozen their raging attack.

"Whose?"

"Both of ours." Oikawa answered with a pointed look.

It seemed as if they both decided to reflect on their life choices after hearing that answer.

Waking up peacefully this time made me feel so much better. Cuddling my stuffie, I stretched my legs out. Realizing that me being on my period wasn't a dream, I shot out of the futon.

I was scared that I had leaked while I slept.

Luckily, I didn't, but I did need to change pads. After doing my business and washing my hands thoroughly, I laid back down.

I wasn't going to get up if I didn't need to. Looking to the left, I saw a small piece of paper lying there.

How the hell did I not see that when I checked the futon?

Picking it up, it was a sweet good morning note. It was from Haijme and also stated that Oikawa's was on the other side of me.

After I had read them, I put them in a spot where I wouldn't crush them.

I had been trying to fall back to sleep countless times, but when my cramps decided to come back, that's when I got up.

I went searching through Tōru's bag for some sweatpants because I'm not walking out of this room in just his boxers.

After sliding those bad boys on my lower half, I grabbed the notes, shoving them in my pocket and put the futons away.

I had no idea what time it was since my phone was back in the manager's room. So I decided to see what we'd be eating next to tell the time.

Walking into the kitchen, I was met with the smell of soup and, to be honest, it did smell quite good.

"Miss (L/n), you're up. The staff heard you were sick, so we whipped you up a soup. Feel better soon!" The lady handed me a fresh bowl of soup, and I thanked her while moving towards the dinner table to eat.

By the time I was done, I could hear some people coming in for lunch. I guess I had mine a bit early.

Anyways, I started shuffling back to the Aoba Johsai room; I had forgotten my stuffie and paci.

Picking them up I hid the pacifier in the sweat pants pocket so no one would see it.

When I shut the door, I turned around to head towards the room I should have slept in. My hair is probably a mess right now, and I should fix it.

I was stopped in my walk when I heard someone call out my name.

Turning around, I was ruthlessly jumped on by Tōru, I could tell by his intoxicating scent I loved. He tackled me to the floor, and we obviously fell.

"Ow, Tōru! Get off!" I shouted, trying to move his body.

"But you love me!" He leaned into my body more—that is, until we heard stomping coming from the hall.

I looked up to see Iwaizumi and smirked, because Oikawa was about to get his ass kicked.

"Oi! Get your heavy ass off of her, Trashykawa!" He ripped Tōru's body from mine, relieving me and slapping him.

"Thank you." I was gently pulled up from the floor, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"That's not fair! I want one!" Tōru pouted at me, his arms crossed.

I rolled my eyes at his playful behavior but still moved to give him a kiss on the cheek.

At the last second, the sly fucker moved his head so I'd kiss his lips. Which I should have expected from Oikawa.

"Amazing, why didn't I think of that?" Hajime sarcastically said, taking my waist and kissing me.

Just as Tōru was about to make another move, I quickly stopped him.

"No, I'm going to my room and I feel much better now. Thank you." I said that and turned to finally going down the hall.

I heard them talking about how I don't have to say thank you since they are the caregivers. I couldn't help myself, though.

When I got better, everything seemed to return to normal. I even apologized to Kiyoko because I had disrupted her sleep.

She said it was fine because she had always been a light sleeper. I just couldn't thank her and my boys enough.

No suelo hacer esto, pero acompáñenme a esta triste historia de amistad (?) Les pasaré primero el contexto: Giacomo quería saber la postura de Azalea; well... Fue en el tono más inocente que puede existir en un hombre como él (y prometo que entiendo a Azalea, girl que también tienes tragedia para rato xD), solo que a él le importa tres hectáreas de caca sobre lo que acontece con la política de su propio reino. O sobre lo que pasa en el vecino o lo que le pasa a sus propios vecinos, vamos. Todos saben que quiere estar con sus gemitas.

Y cómo dice él: mientras sus joyas se vendan, solo le interesa eso, porque no tienen postura de ninguna índole, no piensan ni opinan, y todos aman las joyas así que ahí es como algo neutral en dicho sentido (en pocas palabras). Traducción: el dinero es dinero, me importa el dinero, el dinero es más importante (?). Ella responde tal qué:

ENTONCES, CLARO, cómo va a decirle que no entiende la pregunta a un hombre que no tiene intenciones sobre dicha pregunta. Y no es que Giacomo se moleste porque ella no entiende, sino que comienza a darle motivos para creer que hay algo mal, como para que ella no vea que su amigo solo quiere saber de buena fé (considerando que sabe que ella es una amante, o sea, definitivamente le importa poco lo que ella sea porque ya es más grave ser amante que tener inclinación por una facción u otra XD). Bueno, ahora empieza lo chido.

Y VAYA QUE PUERTA.

Pobrecito, mi niño dudando de que intentando expresarse siempre falla en la comunicación AÚN CUANDO HABLA TAN POMPOSO, es que es muy fuerte. Y claro, se pone triste porque quizá no se dio a entender bien ante su pregunta, que al o mejor debió traer a Braulio para que le traduzcan lo que pretende decir. Giacomo no puede decirlo de otra manera, excepto desde la sinceridad que él conoce y la curiosidad innata de quien quiere vincularse y solidar la relación. Es como un niño, necesita aprender, necesita ENTENDER. Y cómo un niño a veces se pone mal, se queda confuso cuando alguien no le explica las cosas y pone muros. Lo siguiente es esto, pero como me gusta remarcar los diálogos para mayor énfasis a la emoción de porqué reacciona así, lo dejo abajo.

Giacomo no da credibilidad a que Azalea le compare con esos nobles. A compararlo con nobles que hablan mal de ella, cuando él habló mal de su amante Lysander Duscar, que antes le dijo qué ella no merecía esa vida (y eso que es difícil hacer enojar a Giacomo).

ROMPIÓ LA TACITA, OH BOY. Sé que no entienden porqué chillo, pero sucede que en momentos anteriores a este post, Giacomo apreciaba la artesanía de esta tacita y la trataba como si fuera valiosísima, que la agarraba como los del Imperio Shinzen. Sabemos que Giacomo aprecia demasiado lo material (como el tema del jarrón con Darío que le hizo un RIP) como para romperlo, pero lo ROMPIÓ.

Creo que esto no necesita explicaciones (?) Hay un poco más, no quiero aburrir. Solo que lo siguiente, pese a no retirarse del todo, también tiene un gran peso, la prueba definitiva:

PORQUE GIACOMO, PORQUEEEEEEEEEE. No puedo decir que quiere probar con eso, no sé si se entiende pero a mí me gusta dejarlo a la imaginación e interpretación pero sí, sé cuál es su intención al preguntarlo. Esto escaló muy rápido.

a/n: i created this on a whim. heavily inspired by Cigarettes out the Window by TV Girl. the topics in this are very uncharacteristic of the Haikyuu!! characters, but are very real things that people deal with all the time (myself included). i'd like to use this as a form of comfort for anything struggling with these issues. DON'T WORRY IT WON'T BE DARK ALL THE TIME! there is still plenty of fluff to balance it out! there will unfortunately be quite a lot of written parts because i'm more comfortable with that, and it's hard to convey certain things well in text form.

Haikyuu x Bungou Stray Dogs AU - Runaway

Summary : " The 13 Murders Streak has been shaking Japan non-stop. No one knows who was the perpetrator of this heinous murder; However, special people who work at special agencies speculate that the perpetrators are wild herds named Runaway. "

ARC 1

The beginning of the story begins with 9 murder cases of members of the Yakuza Morimi Gang which shocked all of Japan.

1. [ October 8, 2012 ] — Kobayashi Issa, 49. Politician of the far-right Japanese party. Died after being hit with a blunt object found in his yard near Morikawa High (Hokkaido)

2. [ November 07, 2012 ] — Shintaro Ishihara, 65. A former right-hand man of the Yukikage yakuza gang. He was found dead after being stabbed multiple times in an alley near Karasuno Academy (Miyagi).

3. [ November 14, 2012 ] — Mineko Iwasaki, 63. An entertainment home owner. She was also the most popular woman of her time. Dying slowly from poisoning. Found in his home, near Aoba Johsai (Miyagi) Academy.

4. [November 16, 2012] - Kobayashi Issa, 54 years old. Former judge of a renowned private court. Died by strangulation to death. Found in the bathroom where he lived in his nursing home, near Shiratorizawa (Miyagi) Academy.

5. [December 2, 2012] - Ito Sachio, 54 years old. Former officer of the Saitama Police Department. Found dead by drowning, Shinzen Academy students find the body. It was found near the Shingashi River (Saitama).

6. [December 10, 2012] - Notorious Nobunaga. 50 years. A bartender would have been a spy for the Yukikage. He was found dead poisoned and vomited blood during dinner in front of his family. His house is near Morikawa High (Saitama)

7. [ Jan 3, 2013 ] – Matsuo Basho, 68. An entrepreneur of the XXX candy brand. The cause of death was high blood pressure, his hospital was near Wanaka Girls' High (Tokyo).

8. [January 13, 2013] - Tomohiko Morimi. 70 years old. A Yakuza leader who plays an important role in politics. Found dead without a head in his office, located in Tokyo, near the Itachiyama Institute.

9. [January 20, 2013] — Mootori Norinaga. 47 years. The cause of death was once stabbed and left to bleed. Found dead near Fukurodani Academy.

Which, aside from being a Yakuza gang member who was killed, this murder is not known who the killer besides those who are called "Runaway".

" However, who is Runaway? Runaways are those with supernatural powers, or an ability users, who are acquainted without organization. They can be passive, or wild. And their one motto: They will be free no matter what."

-> Ability User : is a special force possessed by many individuals throughout the world. An ability user may be conscious of and can control their ability, though in some cases, an ability may be uncontrollable and activated automatically. Moreover, a person may be an ability user since birth or could manifest such power in later life.

Obviously, this drew protests from Runaways who were not actually involved in this case. However, there are also those who remain silent and do not recognize themselves as Runaways; but they realized they were Runaways, and that one of them was named Lev Haiba.

--> MAIN CHARACTER : Lev Haiba - 15 y.o

Ability: 「 The Lion's field 」

To summon the supernatural white lion named Lyon. Lev can control Lyon to attack other people, or whatever he commands.

Lev in the end is just an ordinary teenager who dreams of becoming Ace Nekoma. He didn't really care about this case and chose to ignore it; or, rather pretend not to know until then, this case happened near Nekoma.

Back to the big murder case, this case has a similar pattern, it happened near a school; Such as Karasuno school, Shiratorizawa, Aoba Johsai, Dateko, Itachiyama, and even up to Fukurodani. At that time, the local government made a statement that schools had to be closed; and the postponement of the Spring tournament ensued.

It didn't stop there, many things happened that harmed many people, including Lev. Where later, Lev was suddenly named a suspect exactly a week before the spring tournament by the Special Division based on the results of an investigation by Mr. Ango Sakaguchi with his abilities.

But it turns out again, it was just a trick. The perpetrators actually confused Ango's abilities with theirs; They framed Lev too so that Lev, who initially didn't care about this case, became involved as "still a suspect" and also a "victim". And it is known that the one who trapped Lev has a name as "Six".

Taking another POV, Shinsuke Kita is a part of that Runaway.

Ability: 「 Hollowness 」

To create a Doppelgangger with very much different of personality. Sometimes, the personality of those Doppelgangers can resemble characteristics of a psychopath.

Compared to Lev, Shinsuke really doesn't really care about the development of the case. He focused on himself in the moment. He had no reason to care about this case anyway.

However, what makes the principle collapse is when an incident occurs.

The 10th murder occurred in his rice field. By the way the victim was killed by being stabbed to death; Shinsuke witnessed it with his own eyes. There too, he meets someone who introduces himself as "One".

Sensing that Shinsuke will become a hindrance for them, One uses his ability on Shinsuke before Shinsuke can react.

--> MAIN VILLAIN : One

Ability: 「 ??? 」

Temporary description : Moving from one place to another without seeing a certain distance.

Back to Lev's POV, after everything he's been through, Lev decides to cool off by going to the wharf in Yokohama. On the pier he vaguely recalls having a memory of someone he calls as "Sunset Man". However, he couldn't remember exactly who the man was.

However, while passing through one of the passages, he saw a person lying between two containers. And that person is Shinsuke who just "transmigrated" from Hyogo to Yokohama.

Lev obviously rashly approached Shinsuke. However, Shinsuke, who has a weapon with him, wakes up and immediately attacks Lev; even though Lev stops him with his ability. And there was a little battle between Lev and Shinsuke with each of their abilities. Until Lev, finally able to calm the atmosphere and help Shinsuke.

( Basically here Shinsuke loses, because Shinsuke is unable to control his Doppelganger, while Lev has full control over his abilities ).

Lev helps Shinsuke by inviting Shinsuke to his home, to talk of course. The two spoke as both of them are related to this incident. Basically, both of them are victims of the abomination of the perpetrator, where Lev is framed by them and Shinsuke is an eyewitness to this incident.

The two obviously didn't know each other, but because they were going through the same thing, they could feel connected to one another. It's not easy for Shinsuke to tell a bit about his abilities part, because of the fact that Shinsuke has always hated his abilities. And it's not easy for Lev to tell about his situation because he can't risk the team knowing that he was once a suspect in a case.

At the end of the day, Shinsuke was allowed to stay before tomorrow, Lev would take Shinsuke away to a safe place; based on his search results on Google, the Armed Detective Agency can help.

At the same time, the 10th murder case became the hottest news in Japan.

3. ARC 3

Another take on a different POV, now coming from Tadashi's POV.

--> MAIN CHARACTER : Tadashi Yamaguchi - 15 y.o

Ability: 「 Trapped in the Remnant 」

Related to memory; he can read, and manipulate a memory. Good memory of humans, animals, even the memory of an object.

Tadashi was not a curious teenager. But since this case happened near Karasuno, Tadashi's astonishment arose; he secretly investigates the case and follows its developments.

However, from all the clues he got, he instead found that someone close to him was the character of the perpetrator based on the memory of several objects around the crime scene. And that close person is Akiteru Tsukishima.

Obviously, Tadashi didn't accept it and investigated further, but again what he got was nothing, Akiteru was still the perpetrator based on the memory of the existing objects. Tadashi's original intention was to messing with the memories of surrounding objects before being found out further by the authorities who are ability users, but he discouraged him and chose to remain silent.

Meanwhile, Akiteru had no choice. However, he felt very guilty and Akiteru chose to kill himself. He killed himself by shooting himself in the head with the gun he got from "One".

Flashback, Akiteru witnessed the murder of Shintaro Ishihara who was then killed by "One".

Where "One" itself is Runaway which describes itself as "Underground" or a group of organizations that want revenge for the atrocities of the Yakuza Morimi Gang.

Back to the situation, "One" didn't immediately kill Akiteru, but he took advantage of Akiteru's situation to become a ally in Runaway (in fact, Akiteru is not an ability user). And even "One" is also "Six" when it threatens to kill Kei Tsukishima and others in Karasuno volleyball club' if Akiteru refuses.

Akiteru here is forced to make plans to kill every member of the Yakuza which this burdens him with. Because he could not report to the police; or the authorities because "One" and "Six" keep watching over him.

Therefore, to leave this case hanging, Akiteru choose to end his sin and leave this world.

4. ARC 4

I'm going to fast-forward here;

After Akiteru's suicide, word spreads in Karasuno and this causes the Karasuno team to initially have difficulty getting into spring high— but luckily they are able to enter after some deliberation.

Returning to Lev and Shinsuke, Lev takes Shinsuke to the Armed Detective Agency the next day. Obviously, Lev's intentions were good and all went well until halfway, the two of them met Motoya Komori.

Motoya Komori

Ability: 「 Ref;Rain 」

Allowing him to revive someone who has died within three days. However, he couldn't revive himself if he died; he can only heal himself with a maximum limit of moderate injuries.

Both of them knew who Motoya was; and at that time Motoya was seriously injured with a gunshot wound to the stomach. And there Levi and Shinsuke met other Underground members, namely "Eight"..

Eight

Ability: 「 ??? 」

Temporary description : To change his form into another person by eating candy.

When they tried to attack "Eight", "Eight" chose to run away and disguised himself as someone else with his abilities. Therefore the only option left for the two is to take Motoya to the hospital.

At the hospital, they will meet Kiyoomi.

Kiyoomi Sakusa

Ability: 「 Dawn After The Night 」

To control his shadow into a shape he wants.

Kiyoomi didn't say anything but just nodded his head. Obviously, this made Shinsuke and Lev feel a little irritated; but they have to understand basically Kiyoomi probably still in shock after knowing his cousin was in danger.

This is where Lev and Shinsuke will meet Armed Detective Agency members named Kunikida Doppo and Yosano Akiko, and Atsushi Nakajima. Here Lev will explain all the existing situations; From the way he met Shinsuke, to how they could meet Komori in this situation. And little bit of scolding from Kunikida.

( And Shinsuke will return to Hyogo for various reasons which will be explained by Kunikida who accompanies him )

5. Arc 5

Two weeks after the incident, finally spring high can be held even if everyone has to be in alert if something happened. And if that happens, then the match will be immediately stopped right then and there.

From Shinsuke's POV, at first he was not allowed to go, but after persuading his parents and grandmother, Shinsuke went as captain of inarizaki.

Meanwhile from Lev's POV, he will meet Shinsuke again. And, of course, meet again with Kiyoomi.

However, Kiyoomi will talk to Lev before Lev meets Shinsuke again.

Their conversation is related to how far Lev feels suspicious about this case.

Lev himself will be honest with Kiyoomi because his instincts can believe that Kiyoomi is a good person. And it's true, Kiyoomi is actually kind, but he's stuck in a pretty complicated situation;

Kiyoomi is one of the perpetrators who escaped. And he was in the same position as Akiteru. In other words, Kiyoomi joined and left before Akiteru, which he also explained that he was the reason Akiteru committed suicide— Kiyoomi is the mastermind of all existing murder plans, and Akiteru was forced to take his place.

At that moment Lev contemplates whether he really believes Kiyoomi is a good person or not, but let's say Lev is naive, then he believes that Kiyoomi can be a good partner. At least they're in position which are equally unprofitable actually.

During those two weeks, Lev and Shinsuke kept in touch. Even with a short distance, they can talk well with each other. And you could say it's pretty close.

Lev told everything to Shinsuke before Shinsuke's match with Karasuno. At that time, Shinsuke could only remain silent and said that he could not really trust Kiyoomi. Lev couldn't enforce Shinsuke's principles and because of that, they agreed to keep their distance from Kiyoomi at that time.

On the other hand, Tadashi immediately approached Kiyoomi before the match. Tadashi is furious because from the evidence based on his abilities, Kiyoomi is the guilty one; Kiyoomi indirectly kills Akiteru because of his decision.

Kiyoomi admits he was wrong. However, before Tadashi returned to his rage... The match has started.

After the match was over, Shinsuke realized that Tadashi was an ability user because his own abilities told him so.

However, this did not make him directly approach Tadashi. But he was careful and chose to tell it to Lev who was really close to him. After listening to all the conclusions, Lev thought of one thing; namely team work to solve this case.

Shinsuke initially denied the idea, but after thinking about it, the same situation might make them have their own resolutions. As well as Lev who is not suspected of being a culprit again, nor would he be able to protect his team and family from harm by contacting the Armed Detective Agency.

Although this idea is also absurd, what Shinsuke suggests is for Lev to stick with this idea until he waits for the right moment.

6. Arc 6

There is a last letter from Akiteru explaining that he is hiding something. The last message was coded quite complicated, and only Tadashi noticed it because he uses ability to find out what that means.

Tadashi headed for a Shrine in Shibuya. His search yielded results in the form of seeing an old hut that Akiteru meant. In the old hut, Tadashi entered and opened a box that was also there. However, inside the box, there is a corpse's finger holding a... Flashdrive. Which flashdrive contains a plan that will be carried out by the Underground.

However, there is a new member named "River" there.

River

Ability : 「 Swindlers 」

To create a Doppelganger with water.

Obviously, a fight ensued between River and Tadashi. Tadashi, who at that time was really beaten back, was finally helped by Kiyoomi.

•

Kiyoomi who won the fight easily invited Tadashi to his residence for a moment to stop by. Tadashi insisted on refusing, but after a moment, he contemplated a decision and decided to accept it.

At the residence, Tadashi will meet Motoya ( Motoya is healthy, unfortunately he can't join the competition ). Where Motoya himself said that Tadashi was out of the plan, but it would be good if Tadashi was also included in this plan. Tadashi asks what Motoya means, simply, Motoya explains; If his plan is to gather the Runaways who are related to this case.

It was there that Tadashi also realized that Motoya's intention was to invite the two people whose photos were all over the place; Namely Lev and Shinsuke.

7. ARC 7

Here, the real plan begins.

Where Shinsuke and Lev were invited by Kiyoomi to his residence to just talk. This was done right at 11 pm where everyone was resting. There they talk and meet Tadashi too; At first the two of them were confused until Motoya explained what he meant.

It is clear to Shinsuke that he is adamant about refusing because he remembers that Motoya is part of the Morimi Yakuza; Where he was the grandson of Tomohiko Morimi— meanwhile, Lev fell silent and thought about all this.

This is an opportunity. Lev chose to agree. Tadashi is still confused and Kiyoomi chooses to follow the plot. It was decided that they agreed to this plan.

Lev afterwards gets scolded by Shinsuke for being careless. But, in the end Shinsuke decided to go with the flow. At least until spring high ends; he can not waste time too.

•

From the side of the criminals, they are now confused by what Tadashi and Kiyoomi is doing, and are planning a new plan.

They will decide to destroy all existing Runaways. At least, that's the result of what was done. However, this plan is considered too dangerous until "One" then has the idea to destroy the Runaways who are involved in a different way...

About a week later passed.

The Underground started with Shinsuke.

They sent an email containing a folder that Shinsuke actually almost made by his family as a kidnapping victim Yakuza Yukikage Gang. This made Shinsuke clearly not believe it at first, but after he searched for and confirmed the document existed, then he believed it.

Because of this, Shinsuke argues with Yumie until he is kicked out of Yumie's house. This made his pride tarnish so he did as Yumie asked him to do— At first he decided to kill himself, but remembering Lev—He fled to Tokyo from Hyogo.

•

On the train, Shinsuke entered a wagon that only had a few people. The destination to Tokyo was deserted from Hyogo at that time due to a rainstorm.

On the train, he bumps into... "Six". Which "Six" then offered Shinsuke to join the Underground and get revenge on Yumie and his family.

However, Shinsuke balked and chose not to seek revenge. There was a bit of a debate which, in the end, Shinsuke won the debate.

8. ARC 8

Meanwhile at Lev's residence, where at that time Lev was offered to move to Russia because he felt that Japan was no longer safe. However, Lev said that he would think about it first.

At the same time, he gets a call from Shinsuke who says that he just ran away from his house. It was raining heavily in Tokyo so Lev immediately went to pick up Shinsuke at the train station after a long journey from Hyogo.

On the same hand, Tadashi gets a second attack from River. But this time, the Armed Detective Agency is also involved, to be precise Junichiro who secretly disguises himself to help Tadashi.

It's safe to say that Motoya is working closely with ADA. With the guarantee that Morimi's Yakuza Gang will work well with the ADA without making any fuss in future later— this contract is black on white.

In this fight, the real "River" is... Koganegawa Kanji.

→ Koganegawa became a member of the Underground to take revenge for what Morimi did to his sister who was kidnapped by them.

The fight was stopped halfway due to an interruption from "One" who took away Koganegawa who was on the verge of losing.

Therefore, for the time being, Tadashi will stay in Yokohama to be well looked after by ADA members.

9. ARC 9

After all the perpetrators were exposed, then it was time to prepare. Motoya has emailed ADA, in the meantime they will take care of the rest. However, the reality is not as easy as imagined and this makes everyone's hassles.

There will be a big battle against the Underground of those who are Runaway.

Bokuto will face off against Lev.

Bokuto's ability is to move from one room to another.

The reason he became evil was because he just felt drawn to having vicious thoughts. In other words, he is the manipulator of everything.

Goshiki will face off against Shinsuke.

With his abilities in the form of changing and disguising.

The reason he became so was revenge for his parents.

Yahaba would come face to face with Kiyoomi.

With his abilities in the form of copying other people's abilities.

And last, Koganegawa will face Tadashi...

Arc 11 - LAST ARC

A fierce battle ensued between everyone.

Shinsuke's fight against Goshiki not really an easy fight. Goshiki won both physically and in experience. Meanwhile Shinsuke is only experienced in Kendo which makes him have to use his abilities against Goshiki. In the end, both of them were in critical condition after fighting each other.

Kiyoomi's fight with Yahaba was quite intense where Kiyoomi was crushed; however, Kiyoomi used his last weapon to attack Yahaba who then Yahaba died at Kiyoomi's hands.

And Koganegawa is mentally exhausted when Tadashi uses his ability to manipulate Koganegawa's mind.

Meanwhile with Lev and Bokuto; the two of them fought even though Lev was devastated because of this fierce battle. Bokuto didn't give up there, he took Lev to a place with his ability which was in that place, there was a puzzle that Lev had to solve. Or not, Lev will pay the price; namely, losing all of Nekoma's members by way of Nekoma's school being bombed.

Lev solved the puzzle in his last seconds. Before Lev, finally got shot by Bokuto in the head.

But Lev then wakes up again.

Lev turns out to be revived by Komori's ability. Komori explains that Bokuto was the one who died because of Komori's use of his Ability which required a soul exchange; this made Lev panic a little, because Bokuto should be in trial alive, not dead. However Komori said it was his job to do. What Lev needs now is rest.

Meanwhile, Shinsuke also woke up after Lev, followed by Kiyoomi. The two of them were immediately hugged by Lev, not forgetting Tadashi who also hugged them after their long journey.

11. Arc 11 - Bonus Arc

Now is 2024.

Lev is still a model. However, he stayed in Russia after that incident because indeed, he had to follow his parents' advice like it or not. He parted ways with his four best friends; but this time, he came back for Japan for a while.

Shinsuke lives far away in Hokkaido as a farmer. Before graduation he had lived at a relative's house, and upon graduation he decided to move away. Also a little alienated from his team members.

Tadashi works for the ADA agency. He is on the same team as Atsushi and is still on good terms with the Karasuno team. Although, he kept his work a secret from them.

And Kiyoomi and Komori continue their journey as members of the Yakuza. Even though their main occupation is an athlete; does not deny that their goal at this time is to complete the affairs that Morimi made in the past.

I am so not shameless in simping for haikyuu boys but still, leave me alone and do not judge my single ass ㅠ_ㅠ

summary: Sakusa only wanted to focus on volleyball and had no time for romance, but what would he do if you, his long term crush that he himself didn’t realize, was in grave danger?

Atsumu and Hinata shared looks again and again as they kept whispering to themselves about how Sakusa really allowed you to take the front sit whilst Bokuto went into his dejected mode. Seeing this, Atsumu quickly texted the group, and nudged Bokuto.

It was a fun afternoon with the team, and you got to know everyone through brief introduction. Contrary to Hinata’s initial belief, you actually got along with Adriah and Oliver the most amongst the older men, with you speaking fluent English.

Once lunch was over, the team had to head back to gym for their practice match with VC Kanagawa, where Atsumu introduced you to Riseki, his junior back in High School. You remembered him being the poor guy getting boo-ed and jeered at by his own cheering team, but you didn’t bring it up.

You also greet Chigaya, having a quick greeting with him as well.

“Broccoli…” You stared at his hair, causing the Shinzen alumni to step back in concern.

“What are you staring at…??”

“Hoh… Your hair,” you said innocently, “broccoli #2.” You reiterated your brother’s words, catching everyone off guard, and burst out into laughter. Even Sakusa had to look away to not let anyone see the tiny smile on his lips, but his shaking shoulders were quite obvious.

“You Kageyamas...!” Chigaya sobbed jokingly, and you chuckled. Soon, the team gathered for proper warm-ups and the match started.

Coach Foster asked for you to sit next to him, asking for you to keep track of his players’ performance, and so you did. Pulling out your laptop, you begin to type away at lightning speed at relevant details that you think the coach might appreciate.

The matches continued all the way until they played up to six matches, with MSBY winning 4 out of 6. The other team soon left after cleaning and warming up, whilst you waited by the bench. “Coach Foster, I’ve recorded down the scoring rally, and the top scorers for each match. Would you like me to have it sent over to you?”

“We have a printer in the back office, dear. Could you print it out for me?” Foster asked before looking over to Sakusa, requesting for the guy to show you the way.

“Why me, coach?” Sakusa asked as he folded the towel.

“Why not?” The older man smiled, but you said you just needed the direction. With a knowing smirk, Foster looked away from his player and told you how to get to his office. Once you got some sense of directions, you promised to get the printouts within minutes and jogged off.

“Is Sakusa too shy to get close to such a cute girl?” Meian joked, which Sakusa quickly denied. He saw no reason to follow you, especially when he was covered in sweat. He excused himself to refill his water once more, avoiding the crazy staring his team was giving him.

“Sakusa-san is still as difficult to figure out as before…” Chigaya commented, and Hinata perked up.

“Oh yeah, you two met back then, right? But wouldn’t you agree, him constantly staring at [y/n], kinda give off his secret?” The ginger laughed. Everyone in that gym was so sure of Sakusa’s crush, and it seemed he still hasn’t realized he was staring at you the entire time.

Sakusa was never one to look at anyone for more than a few seconds if they weren’t speaking or anything, and liked to keep to himself or stand away, but around you, he tends to linger.

As you were printing your notes, you received multiple notification from your personal email. Believing it was something important, you went to check it out, only to see it was sent from an odd looking email. The sender’s email provider was what got you worrying, though. It looked to be from a disposable email provider.

You forwarded this email to your private email, and opened the attached files to see the person had sent you multiple images of your “Dakki” merch. Did this person figure out your identity? You bit your lips as you tried to think back if you might have been careless? Everyone should already know you’re Japanese, but not residing in Tokyo, but that was about it. The only people that knew your true identity were your family, the Haiba siblings, Asahi, Yachi, Hinata, Atsumu, Bokuto, Akaashi, Kozume, and Kuroo.

You knew none of them were dumb enough to leak your identity, but you also didn’t want to worry yourself over nothing. The dilemma was gnawing at you as you picked up the warm stack of papers.

Figuring it was the worst timing to think about it, you quickly made your way out of the office and came across Sakusa. “Hello Sakusa-san, were you refilling your bottle?”

“Yes. Are those the notes that you typed out? May I take a look?” Sakusa asked, eying at the stack of white in your hand. You blushed at the thought of Sakusa looking at your notes. What if he thought it was messy? Or it was too much?

Seeing how you showed signs of hesitancy, Sakusa retracted his question, apologizing for being straightforward about it.

“N-No! Erm, I was just worried you might not like how I took my notes but... Here you go,” you shyly held out your notes and Sakusa nodded, stating that he would never judge someone else’s note-taking since everyone has their own way.

Scanning through, he could say he was rather impressed at how well you recorded down everything with accuracy. He let out a small “heh” the moment he saw that he was the service ace for the day. Looked like he could rub this in Atsumu’s face again.

“You have great notes. Very neat, concise but detailed enough,” Sakusa complimented. You expected him to return the notes, however he held onto it, walking back to the gym.

“Sakusa-san?”

“You’re going to give them to Coach Foster, right? What difference does it make if I pass it to him?” Sakusa asked, opening the door.

“Right…” You murmured, keeping a loose lock of hair behind your ears and followed back. Your heart was beating slightly faster; was it because Sakusa praised you, or were you just happy that he didn’t find your notes too much? Or were you seriously letting the tiniest of admiration now festering into a crush?

No, it’s too soon since your last relationship, you shouldn’t get into one so soon!

“Oh, Sakusa, you went to check on y/n after all, huh?” Foster held an evil smirk, whilst Sakusa narrowed his eyes in a scowl, whilst the teams chuckled and pointed.

“I just wanted to look at what I was lacking before someone else touches the papers,” Sakusa explained, and took a sip out of his bottle.

“I hope it’s of help to you. Since I intruded in your practice, I figured the least I could do was make the best possible note! Oh, I listed VC Kanagawa’s players by names too, so it should be easier to identify!”

“You did a wonderful job! It’s a shame our manager position is not open, else I would have love for you to take on that role.”

“And I would have declined,” you laughed and began to pack up your stuff, “my hands are full, and I have an impromptu travelling tendency, so having a normal job is out of the question.”

“Impromptu travelling tendency?” Atsumu questioned.

“Aha, she attended Kingston University on a whim!” Hinata remembered, “she suddenly said she wanted to fly to England one day to Kageyama, and it took him, Tsukishima, Yachi, Yamaguchi, Sugawara-senpai and all of our juniors to convince her to rethink about her decision!”

“I- Hey! I wanted to study in Kingston, okay! I just didn’t...tell anyone back then...” You defended, albeit rather unconvincingly, with how your words trailed off. “...Fine! I’ll inform you guys earlier if I were to take off again, okay?”

“But why do you like travelling so much?” Bokuto asked with his head tilted.

“What’s not to like? You like to go overseas too, no?” You asked brightly as you remembered the last time you suddenly took off and landed in the middle of South America during your school term break.

“Yeah, I do, but you just up and go at times. Akaashi said you need to be put on a leash!”

“A leash? I never knew that Fukurodani setter of yours is so kinky with (y/n)~” Atsumu winked, but Sakusa clicked his tongue at the sudden turn of conversation. He was rather intrigued about your oddity for a second before the word ‘kinky’ was mentioned.

“Disgusting as always, Miya. Can’t you be mindful of your words around a lady, or do you lack the decency to?” Sakusa chided. Hinata and Bokuto both looked at each other, and another imaginary lightbulb went off.

“It’s fine, Sakusa-san, I’ve heard worse things,” you ascertained nonchalantly, but Sakusa still glowered at Atsumu. He was not sure as to why he reacted this way, but he didn’t like how he used that word with you in

“Still doesn’t make it any better,” Meian cut in, pulling Atsumu’s collar back as he smiled menacingly, knowing his player needed to stop saying stupid things at times before another unneeded problem arise.

Particularly Sakusa possibly murdering Atsumu.

Hinata and Bokuto insisted that you waited for them to get you home.

When night fell, you began your regular streaming and just as usual, your three VIPs, Bokuto, Atsumu and Hinata joined your stream. It was a very comfortable stream for the night; no games, just chatting. Maybe it was just to ease the nerve of what happened earlier in the day, but being able to just ramble about random topics helped with your rising anxiety.

About an hour into your stream, a certain follower’s username caught your attention. Even though you have been thanking every single new followers, gifters, cheer bits and subscribers, this particular one got you wondering for a while. It was a twitch username 'Sakuomi' and your mind drifted to Sakusa Kiyoomi.

"No... Can't be him, nah..."

“Holy- Thank you for the follow and the Tier 3 sub for three-months in advance, Sakuomi. Welcoming to the family!” You smiled, and let your Vtuber model waved.

Sakuomi: It is no problem. I appreciate your energy, and have been putting you as my background noise whilst cleaning.

“Well, I’m glad my streams keep you company while you do so,” you laughed softly.

Sakuomi: It's no big deal. My cousin highly recommended me to watch you, and I just gave it a try. I look forward to your chill stream from now on.

"That’s nice! Then I hope I won't disappoint you," you replied.

Sakuomi: You haven't. And I don't think you will.

A smile stretched across your face. For the first time in a month, you were finally smiling from the bottom of your heart.

"You have no idea how much those words mean to me. Well, enough with such sappy moments..." You then looked at the notes you have next to you, one which you prepared to help you go through the topics you wished to go through for today. You spoke about the schedule for the following weeks, updates on new video games that you had already planned on playing by the year end.

You also spoke about volleyball, just a tad bit. It wasn’t unusual, even though you were known to be a gamer streamer, since you and Kozume, an ex setter, were friends. You always managed to speak about how amazing a certain team were. You jumped around a lot, and try not to speak about the Japanese teams too much, since your brother would always text you and say “could you not compliment Sakusa and Hoshiumi so much? I exist too, you know?!?”

But you couldn’t help yourself whenever you watched Schweiden or MSBY on your spare time; Tobio had always been amazing so you never paid him any mind after junior high.

Just as you were about to close off your stream on the 3rd hour, you took a deep breath and became serious. You really wanted to get it off your chest, and you knew it was better to say it now than later.

"It has come to my attention that a few people were getting too overboard with intruding on my privacy. Just a small reminder to please be mindful of VTuber's private life. We hope you guys understand that we are VTubers for a lot of reason, with mine being privacy and safety as my prioty. I really hope I don’t have to keep reminding people of this. I understand wanting to get to know people you like, but at times you have to remember that it might get uncomfortable. It happened during the coop after the chasm archon quest, but I hope it doesn’t occur again.”

Your chat was spammed with support and love for you, scolding those that even tried to pry into your private life. You were glad that your community understood, and your moderators also pinned your message in your discord server as a “kind” reminder.

That was when you received a whisper from Sakuomi. You normally wouldn’t really want to read them but for some reason, your instinct told you to open them.

“I suggest you reach out to the police if you do feel like your life in in danger.”

You typed back a quick reply.

“Thank you very much Sakuomi. I will definitely reach out to the proper authorities.”

“...Why did I even send her a private message.” Sakusa closed Dakki’s stream and sighed. He was lucky that Dakki was kind enough to even reply him.

He stared at the hoodie that was delivered to him with the words “Darken Sun” embroided on the cuff in black. It wasn’t very visible if you were just walking pass but Sakusa noticed it well. The material was of high quality, one which even shocked Sakusa when he first felt it. He honestly believed that it was going to be of a cheaper quality but instead, he actually pleasantly surprised at how well it suit his wardrobe.

Trust his cousin to know him a little bit, he guessed. But he still wondered why Komori was so insistent about him buying from this VTuber.

Hinata Shoyo had found himself to be a lonely child for a very long time, unable to connect with others despite all his efforts in order to do so. That is, until one day he met a girl, and through that girl he found volleyball, and through volleyball he found what he had always been searching for, connection.

This story is a revamped version of my other story 'The Prefectures Perfect #10' which was based off another story which I deeply loved. I got burnt out and busy so I never finished it despite trying to restart it, but now I'm in a better place and wanted to try writing again with more of a plot this time! Haikyuu Chapter 84: Their Respective Evolutions

REFLECTION:

The chapter starts with GU getting Hinata to work with different setters with from different colleges, schools, and even something called a junior high. He's gonna do the first tempo with all of them. GU gives him the advice to get a feel for the ball, since volleyball is a game where you can't hold the ball but only touch it in different, exciting ways. He has to treat it as an extension of his body.

MEANWHILE, Ukai explains the tempo thing to Kageyama. Then he brings up the idea of a "halted toss". A fucked-up screw ball thing that looks like it'll mess with opponents' heads. Remembering what Oikawa told him, Kageyama tells Ukai he'll try it out.

THE NEXT DAY, Hinata apologizes to Tanaka again about the fight. Turns out Tanaka had to drop both their punk asses with a double fist attack. Tanaka is chill about it and just chastises Hinata for fighting in front of Yaichi, which I unironically agree is the real issue. Hinata confirms to Yaichi that him and Kageyama are cool...despite me seeing no real evidence of that.

Sawamura goes to see Yui (the volleyball club girl from the season 1 tournament) to ask for the gym because literally the whole damn team is having a training arc. Asahi is mad over how weaksauce his spikes are compared to matches so Nishinoyo offers to toss to him to help him out. Later on, the team watches Shinzen fight another team to get the beginnings of an idea of how to form a synchronized attack. Kageyama does the water bottle training (from the eyecatches from the anime!) but fuck that, Hinata is doing tempo training with aunties who call him small fry! But fuck that, Yamaguchi is going off to train at Shimada's! But fuck that, Saeko asks Tanaka about Tsukishima for some weird reason!

Next time we see our idiots, it's summer. Before practice, Kiyoko, Yaichi and Takeda bring them onigiris. Ah, the humble jelly donuts. Great to eat before hard workout sessions.

Back at GU training, Hinata is doing so good at tempos that he upgrades from Small Fry to Short Stuff. But fuck that, Kageyama is still doing his water bottle exercises. The chapter ends with everyone getting ready to push it to the limit.

Haikyuu Band AU: Miyagi Girls

AU where all the Haikyuu dorks go to the same high school and are in the Concert + Marching Band together.

Michimia – Tenor Sax

Joined in middle school with Daichi and chose tenor to honor her grandmother who played it

Isn’t the best player but is always trying her best because she has a hard time finding motivation to continue practicing and playing when surrounded by such good players

Once tried to confess to Daichi with a tenor sax love song composition she found on Musescore (place people can put their compositions on)

It didn’t go as planned and she swears her friends Mao and Chizuru to never speak of it again (Daichi didn’t understand it was a love confession and complimented Michimia on her efforts to learn and play a piece so well and will definitely move up in chair placement if she keeps it up)

She does steadily climb up in chair placement and only realizes her senior year that she is really good, it’s just hard to shine when everyone else shines just as bright as you do

Loves band to death and wouldn’t change her experience for anything else in the world

Aihara Mao (#2 Karasuno Girls) – French Horn, Color Guard (Marching)

Joined in middle school with Michimia to support her (and her crush on Daichi)

Is the one to convince Michimia to confess via song (she has it recorded for prosperity of course)

Does Not respect slackers and will hound anyone who isn’t putting in enough effort into practice (she tried yelling at Kunimi once but after he showed he can still play and keep up with the rest she stopped)

Can be very sassy, not over the top sassy and not supper subtle sassy, the kind of sassy where afterwards you kind of question your existence for a good hour, especially when it comes to their musical skill level

Has a very good friendship with Kaori and rule field performances together

Sasaki Chizuru (#11 Karasuno Girls) – Flute

Joined in high school her first year to try something new, dove in headfirst, only knowing the basics a head of time due to researching it in preparation (made Keshin’s life a bit easier compared to teaching all the other high school band newbies)

Is the exact definition of the friendly, supper cute, can never get in trouble flute player

Doesn’t know how Suga and Yahaba became flute players, because… well, they’re them and does her best not to get on their bad side (which she will never be on because she is among the sweetest members in the band)

Exemplary calm squad member and always has a fun handy game to play during long pre-concert/performance rehearsals

One of the hardest to keep track off during band trips due to her always running off to load up on every souvenir her wallet allows for

Misaki Hana (Johzenji Manager) – Clarinet, Bass Drum 2 (Marching)

Been playing since middle school, and was a casual player at first, not supper committed till she entered high school and saw how far she could go when real passionate effort is put in

Takes crap from No One and she Will run you over like a bulldozer if you test her, especially for her band friends

Isn’t one to accept false praise, or to be lulled into a false sense of security about her skill level, and only accepts brutal honesty so she can improve correctly

Due to her no-nonsense attitude Keishin almost begged her to switch to drumline on her second day of band camp to provide some sort of stability for his current line up

She agrees cause who would turn down the opportunity to be on drumline?

Runa (Johzenji Manager) – Tuba; Pit (Marching)

Joins her first year in high school and is super intimidated by everyone so joins pit to start off in

Learns the most from Asahi who helps her practice her parts when he’s done with his drumline rehearsals

When concert season arrives, she leaves percussion for the tuba section cause they have the least rowdiest members of the band in it, even though they look the most intimidating

Struggled at first with the tuba (mainly with seating and proper playing position), but after Iwazumi and Ushijima’s gentle encouragements she catches up very quickly

Becomes really good friends with Yachi and Himekawa (Tsubakihara) and they have planned, controlled panic attacks together before performances (Yamaguchi joins them sometimes)

Kanoka (Niiyama) – French Horn, Mellophone/Color Guard (Marching)

Got ‘dragged’ into band one day after school by Tanaka when she was being bullied, the band director was like ‘thanks for showing up, here’s an instrument’ and gets really into it and excels because of course she does

Has a really good ear for pitch, not perfect pitch but pretty damn close, until she does after entering high school (Semi played a big part in that)

Sort of, kind of, maybe, wants to join color guard in high school but doesn’t feel like she fits into the aesthetic, being as tall and awkward as she is

Tanaka and Yonezawa convince her to go for color guard her senior year, emphasizing their color guard doesn’t have a specific aesthetic to them (they point to Fukunaga, Hanamaki and Nametsu for prime examples, and Yahaba during winter guard)

Is supper glad to finally let herself be in color guard her senior year and everyone there accepts her with open arms of course because this is Haikyuu still and everyone loves everyone and is supper supportive of each other

Yonezawa Maiko (#12 Niiyama) – Tuba

(First off, Haikyuu Wiki finally put a name to her so a huge thank you to whoever did that!)

Chose tuba when she first joined in middle school cause someone one told her girls can’t play big brass instruments (she made them eat those words when she beat them all out for first chair)

Assisted Mao in getting Michimia to confess to Daichi through the tenor sax love song (she’s a sucker for a good romance)

Races with Houshiumi with their sousaphones back to their dot during marching practice (Keishin has a mini heart attack each time they nearly collide with the other students when they aren’t paying attention to their surroundings)

Is all for her best friend Kanoka to do what she wants and promises to beat up the people who will get in her way

Freaks out when she first meets Goshiki because it’s like looking in a mirror (Goshiki, the poor boy doesn’t know what to do and Tendou is sent to address the situation)

Ootaki Mako (Shinzen Manager) – Trumpet

Started in middle school needing an elective, and liked how crisp her band director made the trumpet sound

Really enjoys marching band and practicing outside because even if they don’t move around as much as the sports teams, she definitely counts sweating buckets as her daily dose of exercise (now her parents can’t complain about her not being healthy)

Helps Osamu coordinate with the band parents in prepping the meals for the band

Hangs out with Mao and Kaori outside of school and band a lot (they love highlighting all the stupid shenanigans the second years get themselves into)

Adds a nice balance to the trumpet section and gets them to either calm down when they get all riled up or enables it to a point where the conflicting parties solve their problems with a fight to the death (in a completely civil and legal manner of course, she doesn’t want to give Keishin more paperwork)

Miyanoshita Eri (Ubugawa Manager) – Alto Sax

Been in band since elementary school, making music so ingrained in her she always has a tune stuck in her head at all times

Like she can hear full symphony concerts playing in her head while taking tests during class (it makes solving algebra more dramatic that it should be)

Sticker creator and collector and has decorated all of her band items with them (water bottle, instrument case, portable foldable music stand, music folder)

Assists Yachi in designing all of the band promotional materials and section shirts

Was super stoked when she was finally able to play in Jazz band in high school, now she can really let go with her skills during the impromptu solo parts
