I will never understand how the intervention scene was good for Nesta. All it did was show how the IC DID NOT CARE about her and her needs. All they cared about was their precious image and that isn't a good enough excuse for what they did.

They didn't really give her a good choice... it was either the HOW or the Human Lands and they threatened her with banishment to the human lands which was practically a death sentence given the mistrust and hatred of the fae by the humans.

Amren made up a law that wasn't even upholdable given Nesta still had a job she never abdicated from.

Feyre pulled High Lady status and told Nesta that money was the issue and that if they couldn't be seen to control Nesta, Nesta would learn to control herself and they'd tie her up and take her to HOW even if Nesta chose differently.

Rhysand made his dislike and hatred for Nesta known. Really, why was he even there? He didn't do jack to help and was an antagonistic party.

Cassian just let it all happen.

Elain wasn't even there because she was packing up Nesta apartment....even though Nesta stood by her side while she was basically a vegetable for months on end.

The apartment got tore down to force Nesta into the HOW even though it was disguised as an effort to rebuild for the war refugees/veterans, which ironically is exactly what Nesta was.

The only good thing that came out of that intervention was Nesta found friends in Gwyn and Emerie who truly helped her heal.

Okay we can be mad at the both of you. Trust there is a lot to say about Sjm’s treatment of her poc characters and how Emerie being a woman of color who is also part of the Lgbtq + community is why she’s an afterthought for both this fandom and it’s author however that does not change that her self proclaimed fans do play a part in her erasure compared to her white counterparts.

I’m not going to deny that Sjm gave Gwyn more focus than Emerie because that literally proves our point. Though Emerie should be on equal standing as Gwyn, she is done a disservice by both “her” fandom and her author. I don’t know if Sarah fell into the “trio curse” when writing Acosf but each member of the Valkyries are not given the same level of importance even though they should be. Emerie should have as many important scenes with Nesta as Gwyn. Emerie should have paragraphs about her beauty the way Nesta or Gwyn do. Emerie should be given so much credit for how strong she’s had to be before she met the Valkyries and after. But for some reason she rarely is and it makes you wonder what is it about her that causes Sjm to do her such a disservice *cough cough*.

And onto the way her fandom treats her. You cannot deny that she is often pushed aside when it comes to the Valkyrie trio and trying to blame Sjm for all of it is crazy. Sarah isn’t the one forcing y’all to give an Illyrian plot that would fit Emerie to her white besties, Sarah isn’t the one forcing y’all to white wash her, Sarah isn’t the one forcing y’all to theorize that she’ll end up with a man simply because you don’t like the woman that she’s shown interest in, Sarah isn’t the one forcing y’all to treat Emerie as an after thought.

Compare how much Valkyrie fans talk about Nesta or Gwyn individually to how much they talk about Emerie individually…now I’m not going to sit here and tell you what to post on your account or that you have to like all the Valkyries equally but I’m also not going to sit here and let y’all play in people’s faces when they say “hmm it’s a little weird that the only woman of color in the group isn’t treated as important as her friends”.

You can sit here and call us “token fans” but all that does is tell everyone that you have no actual argument to justify the blatant Emerie erasure. If anything it’s us “token fans” that are actually concerned with how much she’s pushed aside when it should be you. But no you’re just too busy giving storylines that would fit her to the white women.

Y/n, a 6 year old girl who had recently started acting, sat in the office beside her mum, her legs swinging, as the adults talking. She knew she had gotten a big role in a Marvel movie and she got to play in a movie with some big names in Hollywood. Her parents had said they had to talk some logistics out before she would have to go into the big room where all the other actors were to meet them. Something that made her incredibly nervous.

Her head snapped out when her mum said her name. “Y/n?” The 6 year old looked up with a small smile.

“Yes mama?” Her voice lilted as she tilted her head to look up at her mother, not sure about what’s going on after colouring her pictures the whole time the adults have been speaking.

“Are you ready to go meet your co-stars?” Y/n’s little heart picked up a little bit, her nerves striking her as she was about to meet some pretty big stars. She nodded her head and tucked her colouring book and pencil crayons away in her small backpack and stood up next to her mum who held her hand out, prompting the child to take the womans hand. “You okay little butterfly?” She asked crouching down, noting her daughters quiet demeanor all of a sudden.

“I’m nervous mama… what if they don’t like me?” She asked, her head hanging down, her foot shuffling back and forth. “What if they’re mean?” Her voice had dropped to a small whisper.

“Oh baby… I promise you that no body will be mean.” The mother said, one hand landing on the girl sshoulder and the other tucking a piece of brown hair behind her ear. “They’ll have to deal with mama bear if they do.” A small wink was thrown towards the little girl who giggled quietly and wrapped her arms around her mums neck forcing the woman who scoops the little girl up.

“Okay mama.” She muttered as her mum walked towards the board room that was full of her newest co-stars. When the director opened the door, the small girl tucked her head into her mothers neck with a small whimper after seeing everyone there. “Too many mama…”

“You’ll be okay butterfly.” A warm hand started rubbing her back gently. “One at time okay? We’ll start with Robert because he is who you have the most scenes with okay?” A small nod was given before green eyes peeked out to meet with Robert Downey Jr. eyes. “This is Robert.”

“You can call me Rob though sweetheart. I promise that its not as scary as it sounds. Most of the people here are so nice and fun, except Scarlett, shes scary.” The man winked at the little girl who looked over at who she knew to be Scarlett Johansson who had a look of pure shock on her face.

A small smack was heard before the whole room melted at y/n’s little giggle that followed after watching the blonde smack the man gently. “I am not! If anything, Renner is the only scary one.” Johansson said looking at the little girl who giggled again looking at the man who mocked a loud gasp. “Look how scary he is.”

“How dare you Johansson! I am a saint!” Jeremy said, placing his hand on his heart. “Mackie is the worst!” Another gasp had the girl giggling.

“Excuse you Renner! I am perfect just the way I am!” Mackie said with a proud smirk on his face. “Nice to meet you lady y/n! My name is Anthony Mackie!”

The girl smiled shyly then looked over at a lady who rolled her eyes and smiled shyly.

“Hi darling, I’m Gwyenth but you can call me Gwen. I play Robs wife so I’ll be your mum.” Y/n looked back at her mum then at Gwen and nodded.

“You can be my mama for the movie.” She said smiling at her. “You seem nice!”

“Awe thank you darling!” Gwen placed her hand on her heart smiling sweetly.

“You’ll be my mama so he will be my daddy?” Y/n said pointing to Robert who nodded and smiled widely at the girl.

“I will be! Youll be my daughter, Morgan Stark!” He said with pride.

“Morgan Stark… I like that name!”

“She’s so cute!”

“Mackie! Give the girl some space.”

“Stop telling me what to do Evans.”

“Never in my life!”

“Seriously. Can you two stop talking?”

“Says you Hemsworth.”

“Ow! I did nothing wrong Renner!”

“You were looking at me funny Ruffalo.”

“What does that even mean??”

A sharp whistle was heard and all the adults turned to look at Robert who had a disapproving look on his face, his hands placed over the 6 year olds girls ears so he didn’t frighten her. “You guys are scaring the kid!” They all looked at the girl who had a big smile on her face, her eyes sparkling with laughter.

“Wow… the whole Avengers cast is really just a big bunch of nerds…” Y/n’s mum uttered, sparking a whole new fight between the cast making the girl laugh even louder.

okay a bit of a crack theory (like it's literally more of a thought), don't know whether or not someone has said it already (pretty sure someone has)

but i think

nesta might become a high lady (of the dusk court?)?? or a valkyrie queen? because like hear me out

throughout the whole series she's been compared to a queen, even called a queen of queens i belive

and there's also a fact that she refuses to act as one of rhysand's subjects

and from what i remember the valkyries have once had a land of their own and a king

and there's still the illyrian territory which has to be sorted out

so i think what might happen in the next book is that there will be a continuation of the valkyries' journey (through gwynriel's eyes probably) and sorting out the situation in illyria?????

and maybe nessian is going to rule over the valkyries and illyrians?????? and act as close allies to rhys, not subjects?

After all the heartbreak, trauma, suffering, and assault, she remains brave and fierce. She has so much spunk, sass and spirit. She remains optimistic and enthusiastic. A true friend, a hard worker, and such a beacon of hope and light. She literally stepped out of her comfort zone! She has experienced some of the ugliest parts of life, and it is not easy to remain kind and hopeful after that. But SHE HAS and good things have come to her life for it. I’m pretty sure that was the moral you were supposed to get from her story so far but instead some people have twisted it around like snakes in a bind! (too aggressive?)
