Never alone
Tom Hiddleston x reader
Tumblr media
Not my picture. Credits to the maker! Summary: the last two weeks has been very hard for you. You’re feeling depressed but just don’t know why. But luckily Tom’s there for you to help you go through it.
Warnings: depression, anxiety, panic attack but big fluff ( obviously)
Words: 2K
Never alone
You strolled through the rainy streets of London to your shared house with your boyfriend Tom, who was currently filming for the Loki series season 2. He’s been away for a while now and even though you missed him like hell, you were doing okay, you were fine, and all of a sudden you were not. You couldn’t pinpoint why or what it exactly was. The only thing was sure, is that you felt like shit. Tom could read you like an open book. Even though you tried to act okay because you didn’t want to worry him while he was filming, he knew. He knew you weren’t feeling like yourself.
Tonight you would videocall with Tom but all you wanted to do was cry and curl  up in bed to just forget the world. You texted Tom, in the afternoon, that you were really tired and just go straight to bed, when you got home, but that it wasn’t something for him to worry about. He had read your text but didn’t respond, which made you actually more depressed and doubtful about everything including your relationship.
You came home and put on all the lights and petted Bobby, who never left your side since the moment you felt like shit. You knew you had to eat something but you just couldn’t stomach it. so instead you put some soft music on and got ready for a hot bath. You tried to relax but you were way to anxious to actually get some rest, so you got out not even after 15 minutes. You tried everything but panic, depression and anxiety took over and it felt like it was the worst day yet. Maybe you should call Tom and tell him about it, you thought to yourself.
You pressed the call button and waited for Tom to answer, but that never happened. You frowned and tears filled your eyes. It was not like he was filming right now because you two would call at this moment. Maybe he just doesn’t want to talk to you, you thought in your mind.
You started to pace around the room, not even hearing the music anymore. Your breath became rapid and you knew it was a panic attack. You sank down with your back against the heather. Your kneels pulled up against your chest , while you tried to hug yourself. And that was the moment when everything just became too much. You started to sob and cry like your life depended on it. Bobby took a seat in your lap and rested his head on your shoulder to give you somehow more comfort. You softly wrapped your arms around the dog and nuzzled your nose into his soft fur.
You were crying so much that you didn’t notice the door opening. Normally Bobby would get up and great the person who would walk through the door, which was in this case Tom. But he stayed with you curling up more against you. Tom’s heart sank when he saw you like this. He knew something was off because you were distant. “Love?” Tom asked softly not wanting to startle you, but he got no response so he walked up to you carefully and crouched down to you, softly touching your knees.
You got startled and looked up to the person who touched you with red puffy eyes. “Tom?” you asked as another pool of tears formed in your eyes. He smiled sympathetically at you. “I got it from here buddy, good job.” He told Bobby and he got out of your lap only to sit right next to you which made Tom smile a little at the little protector. Once Bobby was off of you, you quickly wrapped your arms around Tom as if your life depended on it. He held you tightly while you took a place in his lap on the ground clinging onto him. Tom rocked you softly back and forth while his hand went over your hair. “I’m here now darling, I got you. Your safe now. I got you” He repeated.
He sat with you as long as necessarily and whispered comforting words in your ear while giving kisses on the top of your head. Once you calmed down a bit Tom asked “What’s going on in that pretty little head of yours my love?” your glazy eyes met his and you purely saw love in his pool blue comforting eyes. “I don’t even know. One day I was fine and the next I was not and I just don’t know.” he nodded “Why didn’t you tell me, love. You know I’ll always be there for you. You can tell me everything, you know that right?” you nodded and looked down with tears slipping out again. He placed his finger underneath your chin so you would look at him. His finger got a piece of hear out of the way while his palms found your cheeks. His thumb softly brushing away the tears.
“Because I don’t even know why I’m feeling so down and I didn’t want you to worry about it because I don’t know why I’m feeling this.” he nodded and shushed you when he noticed you got worked up again. “I tried relaxing and stuff but it doesn’t work.” You said softly. He nodded again and was thinking of a way to make you feel a little better even if it was just for a minute.
“why don’t we go to town and go sightseeing? You can take your camera and afterwards we get some snacks. How does that sound? I think it’s nice to get out of the house for a minute.” he looked at you hopefully and with a soft smile. You nodded. “You can even photograph me if you’d like” he chuckled a little. Tom loved to take pictures with you but sometimes felt uncomfortable with getting photographed even though he had done it a thousand times.
You got a little smile on your face and softly giggled, which made him smile. He softly kissed your nose, still cupping your cheeks, and after that his lips found yours. It was softly and full of love but it got more passionate from your side. You pressed your body closer to his and he his grip was tight around you. You went with your hand through his hair while you felt his tongue slip in. after a while you pulled back. “I’ve missed you so much.” You said while you rested your head on his shoulder and held him tightly. “I’ve missed you too darling, so much.” He gave you a kiss in your neck.
“Now let’s get your stuff and let’s take a walk.” You nodded and he helped you get up.  “Wait, but what are you doing home? I thought you came back in two weeks.” He smiled at you and softly rubbed your cheek. “I know something was up and I wanted to check on you. I have to get back in 3 days but we’re still on schedule. So I’ll still be back in two weeks.” You let out a breath that you didn’t know you were holding in. You kissed him on his lips. No words were needed how grateful you were and Tom knew.
You got your camera and purse and walked hand in hand with Tom towards the Big Ben. He the umbrella above the both of you. You started to feel better. Not only because you were out but mostly because Tom was with you. You took photo’s here and there and of course of Tom but only when he didn’t notice. You really did a sightseeing tour with Tom in the late rainy evening, and it felt like you could finally breath again. You knew the feeling wasn’t completely gone but it was a start and it was nice to get out like this.
After two hours of strolling you found a little restaurant like you would find from the 80’s. It really was a retro restaurant. Mostly pink and other pastel colors that glazed the restaurant. “Let’s get something to eat” Tom said and you nodded. You walked inside and you immediately knew this was going to be your favorite place to eat at.
You sat down in a booth and looked at the menu card. There were those big milkshakes that you would see in movies with the cherry on top. While you scanned the menu with a smile on your face, Tom looked up from the menu. Smiling at how beautiful you are. The neon light illuminating your face and that perfect smile that he fell in love with and every time when he saw it. You ordered a milkshake and pancakes, while Tom got fries with a burger.
They came back with the food and it was absolutely lovely. You shared the milkshake with Tom. He got one straw and you the other, giggling at how romantic and cheesy at actually was but you loved every minute of it. After you both finished Tom took you to your favorite snack store. You know the one where there’s only candy and snacks including a lot of stuff from other countries. You got everything you wanted and strolled back home with Tom.
“Thank you Tom, this really helped and I’m so happy you’re here. I love you.” he squeezed your hand and smiled. “I’m happy I’m here with you too. I love you too so much, that I can’t even put it in words.” You turned around and faced Tom, wrapping your arms around the tall and handsome man, resting your cheek on his chest and inhaling the smell of fresh rain. You felt calm for the first time in a long, long time. He held you tightly and kissed the top of your head. “I’ll always be here no matter what. You’ll never be alone.” He whispered.  You got out of the hug and took his hand again, walking back home.
Tom opened the door and you got inside, placing all the stuff in the kitchen. You shivered a little. “Let’s go change into something more comfy.” Tom said and placed his hand on your back, guiding you towards the bedroom. You got into some sweatpants and a sweater of Tom, who handed it to you with a smile.
You both plopped down on the couch and watched a comedy movie. Your legs over his while he softly massaged them. You got out your sketchbook and started doodling while watching the film. After a while you just wanted to cuddle so you did. Tom laid down so you could get comfy. Your back rested against his chest and he held you tightly while his head rested on the top of your head. You felt safe and comforted.
After a while you got into bed. He started reading a book of poems to you while you rested your head on his chest feeling the rumble of his soft comforting voice. When it was time to get some sleep you just stared at each other for a while. No words were needed you could see everything in each other’s eyes. you crawled towards him and just held him tightly, listening to his heartbeat, the rain that ticked loudly at the window and his soft breathing. It was all so calming. He kissed the top of your head multiple times and massaged your head. You were almost asleep, slowly drifting off, you heard Tom whisper. “I love you so much. I’ll never let you go darling.” You were too tired to respond so you just squeezed your arms which were tightly wrapped around him. you felt one long resting kiss on your head as you felt into a comforting peaceful sleep.
He waited for you to fall into a peaceful sleep before closed his own eyes with a smile on his face knowing that you were in his arms. Maybe not okay but it’s okay to not be okay. But he will make sure that you’ll never be alone when you’re not okay. It’s a promise that he will never break.

MASTERLIST
FRANKIE MASTERLIST
»»————- ♡ ————-««
“Hey,” Santi slipped into your abandoned stool at the bar next to Frankie. You were all at the bar for weekly get together, but Frankie had noticed you seemed down from the moment you walked in. He was attuned to you, very much so from years of being your closest friend, but it hadn’t taken much to see that you were upset. Your lips barely managed to curve into a smile, and your eyes had a heavy tiredness behind them, despite your best efforts to appear happy, “you heard about what happened, right? With Bee?”
“I...no? She hasn’t said anything to me,” his brows knitted together in confusion as he downed the rest of his beer. A sense of worry settled into his bones at your behavior; it was so strange and unlike you, “w-what happened?”
“Mark,” Santi dramatically rolled his eyes at Frankie before flagging the bartender over for another round of drinks; it seemed like you could all use it. Rage boiled in his blood at the sound of the name; he’d hated Mark from the day the two men had met. It wasn’t just because he was the man that had won over your affections, although that was definitely a large part of it, but because after a while it was clear that he was genuinely an asshole. He wasn’t good, or good to you, but for some reason you’d never seen that. You ended up putting up with so much shit that you’d normally never take from anyone else. Frankie’s grasp around his empty bottle was so tight it was a surprise it didn’t shatter into little pieces, “he cheated on her...she finally dumped him.”
“He cheated on her? That fucking asshole,” Frankie almost jumped out of his spot as every bad thing he wanted to do to the man that broke your heart bubbled up, “I will-”
“She found them together,” Santi put his hand on Frankie’s arm to calm him down, “and apparently he still tried to make it seem like her fault. She’s really upset, Fish. Don’t make things worse right now. I know - we all know - how you feel about her. Give her time and space.”
“I’m her best friend,” he huffed as he slid out of his spot, “I need to be there for her. I’ll just...I’ll make sure she’s okay. I don’t understand why she wouldn’t tell me...:”
“Why do you think, Fish?” Santi cocked a brow at his friend before letting out a long sigh, “she knows you’ve always hated him. She doesn’t want you to do anything stupid and get yourself into trouble. She loves you too, you know. Even if she doesn’t realize that.”
“How could you possibly know that?”
“Everyone knows it,” Santi was amused at how blind the both of you could be at times, “it’s so obvious to everyone...except perhaps the two of you. The way you look at each other, how you act...that shit ain’t just friends shit. You both know it.”
“Then why did she date Mark? For almost two years and waste that time on him?” Frankie grew frustrated as he slid off the stool and hit the dirty floor of the bar with a dull thud, “why wouldn’t she say anything to me?”
“Why haven’t you ever said anything to her?”
“I don’t want to lose Bee,” he pulled off his old, batted cap and hand a hand through his curls in frustration, before slapping it back on his head, “I’d rather keep her as my friend forever than face a life without her.”
“There’s your answer.”
“I’ve got to see her,” he insisted, brushing past Santi, “I have to let her know.”
“Don’t - give her time and space,” Santi grabbed his arm and insisted, “don’t push her just because he’s gone. She’s hurt and been through a lot. Be her friend and let things happen on their own.”
“I know what I’m doing,” Frankie snapped as he pulled out of Santi’s grasp and headed to the back of the bar, where he’d seen you step outside and disappear a little bit earlier.
»»————- ♡ ————-««
You were pacing around with your phone pressed to your ear as you tried to keep it together and not break down into another fit of tears and sadness. The whole day had seemed like a blur, one painful, horrible nightmare and you just wanted it to be over. You just wanted to sleep and wake up and have no memory of anything. Perhaps not even the last two years.
“I can’t believe he did that to you,” your sister sounded as incredulous as you felt, “you’ve been so good to him, more than he deserves honestly, and for him to do that? Asshole. I am so, so sorry for what he did to you, babes.”
“Me too,” was all you could choke out as your lips trembled with effort not to cry. You looked at the inky black sky, dotted with glittering stars as you tried to ground yourself.
“At least you’ve got the guys with you. If he does or says anything, you know they’ve got your back,” she reminded you, causing you to experience a momentary pause of peace, “and now you can finally tell Frankie how you feel.”
“No,” you insisted firmly as Frankie stepped outside, quiet as a mouse as he tried not to interrupt. He hadn’t meant to be sneaky and listen in, truly, but now that he was there, he couldn’t stop himself, “I’m not telling him anything.”
“You love him! You’ve been in love with him for what? Almost six years?” she scoffed at the other end of line, “you have to tell him how you feel, now is the time. He’s not...he’s not to wait for you forever. If you love him, let him know.”
“I don’t,” you lied thickly, steeling your nerves as you bit back bile. It was hard to lie; especially when it came to Frankie. He was everything you were not: good, gentle, pure, loving. He didn’t deserve to have you dragging him down. He deserved the world - something you felt you could never give him. He would be so much better off without you, no matter how much you actually loved him.
“You’re such a liar!” she insisted as you groaned, “the two of you are in love! You’re just blind fools, scared to get hurt.”
“No!” you shouldn't have called her, you should have just gone home and cried yourself to sleep like you had planned on, “I don’t love him! I don’t love Frankie. He’s nothing but a friend and he’ll never be anything else!”
Frankie’s breath hitched in his throat as he listened to your angry tirade. He must have heard wrong...surely you hadn’t meant it, right? Santi had said...everyone had told him….he loved you. But...you didn’t love him? He needed to get out of there and fast; he left like he was going to be sick. But as he turned on his heel, he almost slipped on a rock and made a small sound of surprise.
You froze in fear at the sound, realizing for the first time that you weren’t alone at all. Your sister was still babbling away at you, calling you a liar as you turned around and found Frankie, frozen in fear as he tried to get back inside. You swallowed thickly, knowing exactly what had happened; he had heard your blatant denial of love. The lie you wish you’d never spewed. Ending the call without a word, you stepped closer to him as his own eyes appeared glossy with tears.
“Oh Frankie,” your voice cracked as more tears rolled down your cheeks. Could this day really have gotten that much worse? You wished the earth would open up and swallow you whole, “you weren’t supposed to hear that.”
“I wish I hadn’t,” he admitted quietly, “I came to look for you, to make sure you were okay. Santi told me what happened.”
“Frankie, it was a lie,” you might as well tell him the truth now. There was nothing left to lose at this point, and he deserved to know the truth finally, “I was talking to my sister and it was all a lie. I didn’t mean it. I-I do love you-”
“You don’t need to lie to me now to spare my feelings,” he stared at the ground before slowly opening the door to the bustling bar back open, “if that’s how you feel it’s how you feel. I just...I should have known better. I was the fool, not you.”
“Francisco, don’t go,” you darted towards him but he was already inside and weaving his way through the crowd, barely acknowledging your friends as he made to leave, “Frankie! Frankie! Don’t do - don’t walk away. It was a lie to get her off my back and because I….”
“Because what?” he turned around, and the look on his face was enough to break your heart then and there. His cheeks were already tear stained and his eyes were nothing but hurt, as you struggled to find the right words. After a few beats of tense silence, he shrugged, “I’ll see you around, Bee. Eventually...I just need some time to deal with my own feelings. I’m sorry I thought there could ever be more between us.”
“Francisco,” his name was a pitiful whimper as you watched him get into his truck and start, leaving without hesitation. Your hands flew to your face as you stood there in panic, “what have I done?”
“Bee?” Benny came up behind you, confused as he looked between you and the spot Frankie was previously parked in, “what happened? Is everything alright?”
“I think I just fucked everything up,” you admitted as you let him pull you into a hug, “I think I just lost the best thing that ever happened to me.”
“He’ll come around,” Benny promised, although it felt hollow, “it’s Fish. You know he will.”
“I hope so,” you cried, “I sure hope so.”

Crushing On You (Kirishima, Tamaki, Toyomitsu (Fat Gum))
Tumblr media
Ion know bout y’all, but I consistently act weird around my crushes. That being said, I also can NEVER tell when someone has a crush on me (although I’m told its obvious). So let’s commemorate that, shall we?
A/N: This one is dedicated to the lovely @kirislut. She passively told me to write this and I was like yeah! And then proceeded to take 2 months to do it *sigh*. But yeah stan her or face my wrath >.<
Warnings: None! It’s fluffy. Y/N is written to match the age of the character (so a first year for Kiri, third year for Amajiki, late 20s for Fat).
Kirishima Eijirou (xBruh!Y/N)
Kiri would be crushing on you for a long time before he even realizes he’s crushing on you.
You would be a part of the Bakusquad,  and you also made an effort to stand up for yourself against Bakugou, and something about that really got to Kiri.
You were somehow so *manly* while also so hot AND cute? Damn, how do you do it?
Not that he understood that he saw you in such a light.
Because Kiri doesn’t realize he has a crush on you, he wouldn’t necessarily be super blushy or flustered at first.
When around you, he’s showering you in compliments.
When you aren’t around, he’s constantly bringing you up in conversation. Every conversation. With every single person.
He would also team up with you to tease Bakugou.
And you already know that if anyone had anything negative to say about you, then he would stand up for you in a heartbeat.
He really admired you, to say the least. He loved being around you. That was all (he thought).
That is, until the bros™ decided to give him a talk.
“So..Y/N?” Is all Sero would say.
And obviously Kiri smiled at your name, but didn’t know why they were bringing you up.
“Are you gonna ask them out anytime soon? If you wait any longer I might just do it myself,” Kaminari tries to playfully nudge Kirishima into understanding.
“Ask them out???” Kiri is now in shock! Because where did this come from!
That being said, his face also got as red as his hair, and the thought of you hugging him or staring back at him felt like a really pleasant idea all of a sudden.
“Oi, shitty hair, don’t tell me you don’t recognize your own feelings. Are you really that much of an idiot?” Bakugou asks, his tone irritated and disinterested.
Although, he’s kinda invested in seeing you two get together at this point. The whole squad was.
And then it hit the man like a truck.
Shit! I have a crush on the coolest, strongest, most amazing person I know.
After this point, he doesn’t know if he’s ready to ask you out yet. But he definitely starts acting differently.
Usual shoulder leans and elbow nudges now make him feel like Kaminari was electrocuting him..
Any compliments you sent his way would cause Kiri.exe to stop working.
And your smile would make him feel starstruck.
It was a breaking point when a school sponsored dance came around and you showed up looking like a WHOLE SNACK in the most elegant dress/tux/(whatever badass clothes you wanna be rockin). .
Kiri straight up would not look at you. He fully refused to turn his head in your direction, which was hard because the Bakusquad decided to spend the whole time there together, which meant he wasn’t leaving your side.
“What the hell are you doing?” Bakugou was so confused (I mean same. Kiri THEY LOOK LIKE A SNACK why aren’t you basking in their glory jeez).
“SHHH Bakugou. It’s not manly to stare…”
Kiri was worried that he would ogle you into discomfort, jaw dropped and eyes wide because his heart would burst upon looking at you for too long.
In turning his head, he didn’t notice Kaminari and Sero approach you, whispering into your ear.
It was only when you came up and tapped him on his shoulder that he turned around and looked at you, you smiling at him.
“Hey Kiri, do you wanna dance with me?”
Hey would pause, because he was really flustered, but then he would flash his huge toothy grin and gladly take your hand, pulling you onto the dancefloor to dance with him into the night.
BONUS: While dancing with you, Kiri would only look at your face and refused to look at your feet, causing him to stumble a couple of times.
And naturally, you would ask him about it.
He would blush but explain, “I didn’t want you to think that I was staring down at your body and making you uncomfortable…”
WANDERING EYES ARE NOT MANLY! change Kiri’s mind.
You would laugh and respond, “Hey, if you need to look at our feet to make sure we don’t trip, I don’t mind.”
But you would then pull close to him, wrapping one hand around his neck and speak quietly into his ear-
“And if you wanna look at the rest of me while you're at it, I wouldn’t mind that either.”
Kiri.exe has stopped working once again. Good job Y/N!
Amajiki Tamaki (xGentle!Y/N)
Tamaki would have a crush on you after being your friend for a little while.
Like at first he was super nervous around you because people are nerve inducing and scary (I feel ya buddy its ok).
Over time though, you guys became closer friends. He realized how gentle and sweet you were.
You would spend a lot of time together, studying, going to get food, and training together.
You also would spend late nights together, especially when one of you was stressed or having a panic attack. You kept each other safe.
It wasn’t a surprise to Tamaki when he found himself wanting to spend more time with you.
It didn’t shock him that he loved looking into your eyes.
He felt himself, and watched himself, fall in love with you.
But despite that, he wasn’t really as awkward about it as you would expect him to be.
Your entire relationship had been very wholesome and close from the start, and because he was aware of his feelings from the get go, there wasn’t any real shock.
Ultimately, you were his safe space, and he would rather not compromise that by bringing his emotions into it. He was content to love you from a bit of a distance.
In a non creepy way, he loved to watch you. He knows looking at people you love or feel safe with is a really good way to calm anxiety and ground yourself, and that’s what Tamaki does all the time with you.
Just watch you work or eat and laugh. It was enough to keep him together.
And the times you told him “I love you” made his heart soar, even if he knew it was platonic.
He also had a journal with writing in it, where he would write small notes or lines about his thoughts. Many were about you and how pretty you looked when you came to his room in PJs when you couldn’t sleep, or how happy you were when you down a bowl of ramen, or how-
You get the idea.
Though he was content with accepting his crush on you, nothing could have prepared him for how you found out.
You both had been working together in his room. He was working on some homework while you were studying for your *least* favorite subject, math.
So you ask if you can see his notes to help you understand better.
“Yeah. It’s the first one on my shelf. Its the most recent pages.”
What he forgot was that he had moved it into his backpack and the nondescript notebook that sat first on his shelf was his journal.
While he kept working, you opened to try and figure out how integrals worked, but instead were met with a cute doodle of your face with a heart next to it.
The line above it said, “On a cold day, y/n’s smile keeps me warm.”
It was oddly poetic, a lil sappy, insanely heart tingling but cOMPLETELY out of left field because- what? This was definitely NOT integrals.
“Tamaki, I don’t think this is the right book…”
He looks up and his face drops in horror as he sees you with his journal, your eyes dazed and unsure.
“O-oh! I’m s-s-so s-sorry I-”
He trips off his bed and runs right up to you, tugging the notebook out of your hand and pulling it to his chest. “This isn’t how I meant for you to f-f-find out I have a c-crush on you-u.” His eyes are glued to the floor.
“...Tamaki, you have a crush on me?” You ask, in a calm (but very shocked) tone.
His eyes shot up, wide, and he scrambled through the notebook to see what you read. It was just the doodle and one line, but if you had flipped a page back, you would have seen a long rambling explaining how much he liked you.
But, you didn’t flip a page back, and instead, Tamaki had 100% exposed himself.
“Y/N I’m s-so so sorry you probably think that I’m a creep now I swear that I really value our friendship and I don’t mean to ruin it so you can just forget about this and-”
He went on for a while, lost in his words and slowly falling apart while you were trying to process what you heard.
He had a crush on you too? What a relief. You wish you realized sooner! But better late than never right?
Now for how you were gonna calm him down.
On instinct, you wanted to jump on him and kiss him till he couldn’t breathe, but that would probably freak him out more than anything else.
So you just do what feels right.
“I really hope you don’t hate me or think I’m weird you just really make me feel complete and peaceful and I never meant to-”
You reach out and gently take hold of one of his hands, pulling it to your face, and softly kiss his knuckles.
He stops rambling and looks like a deer in headlights as his face ignites into a bright red.
“WHY DID YOU-”
“Shhh.. Tamaki… I like you too, okay? I like you a lot. So please calm down.”
What a roller coaster for this poor boy. “Y-you don’t think I’m obsessed with you?”
“I don’t! Well, if you’re obsessed with me, I’m just as obsessed with you, so its okay!”
You smile at him and he blushes, hiding his face into his shoulder, his hand still sweetly entangled with yours.
“I, I’m glad,” he manages to get the words out after a few seconds.
For the first time in the history of your relationship, Tamaki was a flustered blushy mess with you.
“Cmon Tamaki, we have more studying to do!!” You want him to mentally gather himself, so you take him back to his bed, hands still intertwined.
BONUS: After failing at studying, Tamaki laid down on his bed and stared at the wall, failing to nap, while you were sitting at the foot of the bed.
His mind was racing.
“We like each other, but we haven’t talked about it since that moment… What if things are going to be awkward? I don’t want it to be what should I-”
The bed dipped down behind him and an arm snaked up around his torso. His back was pulled against your chest.
“Is it okay if I take a nap with you, sweetheart?” You ask in a lazy and sleepy voice.
His heart fluttered at the nickname. “Yeah, of course.”
“I’m glad. I love you, Tamaki.” And with that, you nuzzle into his back and fall asleep.
And with the feeling of your arms and your stable breathing, he realized you were still his safe space. And with that he was lulled to sleep.
Toyomitsu Taishiro (x Foodie!Y/N)
You’re assigned to represent your agency for the team-up with Fat Gum’s agency.
When you rolled in, Fat Gum didn’t take much note of you at first.
But when you intensely fawn over takoyaki during lunch break on the first day, he felt like his eyes were being reopened and he was seeing you for the first time.
Love at first meal!
Though he initially found you attractive because he shares his love of food with you, he slowly found himself loving everything about you.
You’re a lighthearted person, with a big heart and an even bigger appetite.
You brought a lot of joy, and that was energy Taishiro could never get enough of.
He knew he was a goner when one day were pranked by one of his Agency members, got caught off guard, and ended up jumping at him.
He caught you and held you (cuz hero instincts obviously), and in that moment you couldn’t help but hug him out of fear (and because he’s SO CUDDLY REEEEEE).
But that’s enough for him to realize he wants to hold you more. And often.
Yeah he’s whipped okay.
He definitely tries to keep it professional! And not *overtly* flirt with you.
But he brings you food literally 2 or 3 times a day.
That may sound like a lot, but given its Fat Gum, it came off pretty innocuous at first.
He’s also really observant, so he picks up on what type of foods you really like.
So he very often pulls up with your favorites, which always makes your day better.
He also tries to give you some of his favorite foods, and days you like his favorites were the best.
He was living his best life watching you be happy, even in a professional setting.
Fat Gum finally came forward about his feelings for you after a mission went awry.
It was supposed to be an information retrieval mission- simple get in get out.
You, Fat, and Sun Eater were going to be working together.
Fat would guard, Sun Eater would infiltrate and restrain, while you would obtain necessary documents.
That plan is sabotaged the moment you realized the League is also present- when they definitely were not supposed to be.
Before you can process this shocking information, a knife is being plunged into your stomach.
Toga smiles down at you- “pretty blood from a pretty person, I’m sorry I can’t help myself.”
She jumps back when Sun Eater sends an octopus arm at her.
He grabs you in the process and pulls you back, where Fat is now standing by his side, eyes wide in horror.
He takes you into his arms, and the last thing you feel is being held against his fluffiness before blacking out.
When you wake up, you’re in a hospital bed, Recovery Girl on one side of you, and Taishiro on the other, in his skinny form.
Evidently, he had beaten most of the villains to a pulp, but the League had dipped before he could do much more damage.
But after that, he had carried you to the ambulance and hasn’t left your side since. It’s been half a day.
“Fat Gum…”
“Hey do me a favor and call me Taishiro, okay?” He asks you very gently.
“Tai-shiro…” Oof his heart skipped a beat at hearing you say his name.
“Taishiro, the mission…”
“Shhh it’s okay. There’s an interrogation of the villains that we captured going on right now, and Fourth Kind’s agency is following up on our leads. We did our job for now.”
“Are you okay? Amajiki-kun, is he okay?”
“We’re both fine. Some scratches on him, a lil fat lost for me, but we’re okay.”
“Taishiro...The agency, why are you here? You should be there running the ag-”
“I want to be here with you. That’s why I am here. I trust my assistants to cover for me right now.”
“That’s very nice of you, but I still don’t understand why…”
“Because I like you. I like you lots, Mx. L/N.  I know our relationship has been professional, but seeing you injured was something I didn’t…. I care a lot and I couldn’t find it in myself to leave you here alone. I hope our relationship can stay professional and friendly though, I really enjoy spending time with you.”
Recovery Girl looks back and forth between you two, eyeing your shocked face and his determined, serious one.
“I’ll be back to check on you in an hour, Y/N. But I’ll leave you two alone for now ~~~”
You paused, silent. The longer you stayed silent the faster his heart began to race.
Suddenly, you sit up, placing weight on the heels of your palms.
“Y/N you’re still injured what are you-”
It's your turn to cut him off, grabbing his jacket and yanking him towards you with your left hand.
Your right hand going to wrap around the back of his neck,
and your body falls back,
Caught off guard, half standing, and balance lost, Fat’s upper body is now looming above yours, his hands planted on either side of you.
His eyes are wide, and your hands on the back of his neck are warm.
“I’m sorry, Taishiro… but I don’t want this relationship to stay just professional. So can I kiss you?”
His heart flutters, and his classic grin spreads across his face as he closes his eyes and let’s his face close the distance between you two.
BONUS: You and Fat Gum decided that you didn’t want to tell people that you had started dating- the news would take it and make it a public affair.
But you decided to leave it up in the air for your agency to figure out. They were your friends after all.
The first to catch on was Amajiki, but he stayed quiet.
But the new recruit Kirishima wasn’t as quiet about his suspicions.
When he walked in to see you hug Fat Gum, he didn’t know how to react.
You both seemed fine and acted as if hugging was a perfectly normal thing he shouldn’t be surprised by.
You say goodbye and pat Kiri’s head on the way out.
The last thing you heard was a loud scream, followed by a “Fat, you and Y/N are dating?”
Yeah! Cat’s out of the bag.

masterlist
It was a sunny afternoon, a perfect day to be riding around with the windows down jamming out to music with my mom. We were going to meet up with my dad before we headed out to deliver supplies. It was one of those days where my mom let me go with her to drop them off since there was no school. She’s always helping people which is what I admire so much about her. I would love to help people as much as she has, that's why I go with her sometimes so I can learn how to help others.
We pull up on the dirt road and see my dad’s truck approaching. My mom parks the car and gets out. “Well look at you. Did you get your guy?” she smirks at my dad.
“Do you even have to ask?” he states, taking off his hat and putting it on the hood of his truck.
“You get huffy when I don't ask” I chuckle to myself at my mom's response.
“Yeah, I got my guy.” he rolls his eyes and approaches mom more, “You heading out already?”
“Yeah I gotta pick up Geri. she’s got the supplies” she says then dad pulls her into a kiss.
“Ew! Come on guys!” I yell through the car window. “I’m right here.” They pull apart and laugh looking at my direction with their arms still wrapped around each other.
“Its love sweetie, you’ll understand when you’re married one day” mom tell me with a smile
“Which won’t be till your 40!” my dad adds in.
“Really dad” I rolled my eyes and hopped out of the car. I walked toward them crossing my arms, trying to be annoyed but fail and end up smiling. Dad laughs and pulls me into a hug.
“I’m serious Butterbean. No boys” He pulled me tighter in the hug and gave me a kiss on the top of my head. He pulled away smiling, then looked at mom and said “And you’re going to be..”
“On the approved route that you gave me.” she finishes his sentence. He nods and looks over at me again.
“And you little missy will..”
“Stay with mom and listen to her directions.” I replied.
“Okay.” Dad nodded satisfied with our answers.
“Don't worry, Ranger Walker. We’ll be fine” Mom pulled me into a side hug and I leaned my head on her shoulder. “Now get up to the house. Augies waiting on you, with your parents. It’s game night.”
“Right. Uh, how do I play that game again? Every time you tell me the rules I-I black out. And I’ll be at a loss without my usual partner” He says looking to be at the last part. I roll my eyes.
“You’ll be alright, Dad. you might lose every game because I’m usually the reason we win.” I smirk
“Oh really” he said
“Babe.” mom cut us off “just go in there, go have dinner. They're just excited to see you. You could lose every single game and it wouldn't matter”
“Why are you talking about straight to me losing?” he laughed and kissed her again
“Oh for the love of” I grumbled to myself. Jokingly of course, I'm happy that my parents love each other so much.
“Hey. Be safe.” Dad told mom once they pulled away. She nodded and dad looked over at me and said “You too Butterbean”
“Of course daddy.” I said, hugging him one more time before climbing back into the car.
                               »»————- ★ ————-««
It all happened so fast. One minute mom, Geri and I were handing out supplies then the next mom was telling me to run. We kept trying to run but the person was still chasing us. I was running right beside my mom but then she told me to run in a different direction.
“What?” I said as best I could while running.
“I need you to run in that direction,” she nods her head to the left, “ and keep running until you reach your dad’s and my spot, you know where that is right?” She asks and I nod my head. “Good and no matter what happens or what you hear, do not turn around.”
“But what about you?” I ask her tears welling up in my eyes.
“Don't worry about me, just keep running alright”
I nodded my head and said “I love you mom.”
“Love you too baby, now go!” she told me but I looked at her hesitantly. “Now Y/n/n!” she yelled and started to pull out her phone.
I took off in the direction she told me to go in. I was so scared, I felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest, my lungs and legs were burning, begging me to stop. I heard the faint sound of a gunshot and scream in the distance. It took everything in me to not turn around and go back to my mom but I kept running. I had to, she told me to not stop “keep going, keep going Y/N, she wouldn't want you to stop running” I kept telling myself. I'm tired, confused, scared and overwhelmed at this point. I tried to wrap my head around every scenario that could have happened a couple of minutes ago. Who got shot? Mom? Geri? Was the shot fatal? Did the shooter miss? If I go back would I have been able to save them? Tears are pressing against my eyes, I just want to go home. Adrenaline is the only thing keeping me going at this point. I don't know how long I’ve been running for but I eventually saw my parent’s the white gazebo at Lady Bird Lake.
                                »»————- ★ ————-««
Emily pulled out her phone and called Cordell’s phone, she waited a couple rings before he answered.
“Emily, you alright?” he asked.
“Just had to call you. I told Y/N to go to our spot. Something's not right.” she answered sounding scared
“What do you mean?” Cordell asked, growing concerned for his wife and daughter. Emily didn't respond, Cordell can only hear her panting over the phone. “Emily. Emily.” he says trying to get a response from her. Then he could hear a gunshot and her scream over the phone. His heart dropped and he started to panic, this can't be happening. “Hey.” he said before the line disconnected. He quickly told his family that the call was work stuff. He didn't want to scare them with what he just heard on the phone. He quickly went outside and tried his wife’s phone again. All he got was voice mail. He yelled in frustration and sadness and started crying. The worst thing has happened to him, he lost his wife and possibly his daughter. His daughter! Cordell suddenly remembered that Emily said Y/N would be at their spot. He quickly pulled himself together the best he could and hopped in his truck. He started making his way to Lady Bird Lake praying to God that his daughter will be there. His heart was pounding, Cordell normally doesn't get scared a lot but in this moment he is. Pulling onto the road leading to the gazebo he sees his daughter run out of the trees and collapse. At the sight of her he feels slightly relieved, at least he didn't lose both of girls in the same night.
                                   »»————- ★ ————-««
As soon as I reached the white gazebo I collapsed. I start coughing and gasping for air because my burning lungs need it. I flinched away when I felt a hand touch my shoulder, scared it might be the shooter and he might have followed me here.
“Hey, hey, Y/N/N, it's ok.” I heard dad's voice. I looked up and saw him kneeling on the ground to be at the same level as me. He opened his arms out to be and instantly jumped in them and clung for dear life. Dad instantly responded by wrapping his arms tightly around me, stroking my hair and every once and while my back. With the adrenaline worn off my emotions finally caught up with me and I finally burst. I started sobbing, my whole body shaking and I started gasping for air again. “Oh butterbean, you're ok now. It's all over. Take some deep breaths for me.” my dad said the calmest he could while repeating the soothing motions. I could tell he was trying to hide how upset he also is by the shakiness in his voice and I could feel tears drip into my hair. “Are you hurt?” He asked me gently and I shook my head in response.
“M-mom,” I was able to stutter out once calmed down enough “she told me to r-run….then there was a gunshot...I don't know if she’s-” I wasn't able to finish the sentence as I started to cry again. Dad shushed me and continued to keep telling me it's going to be ok…..I’m trying to believe him but I don't know if I can.
                                  »»————- ★ ————-««
                                        Eleven Months Later………
It’s dad's homecoming night. He’s returning from an undercover case he was on, I haven't seen him in eleven months and haven't talked to him in three. August and I started living at our grandparents house and Uncle Liam moved in shortly after to help take care of us. Uncle Liam and I got closer as he became my rock during dad’s absence. The whole family and dad’s old ranger partner, now chief, are waiting outside for dad to arrive home. He’s late of course, I am not even surprised at this point, and i’m starting to think he is not even going to show up at this point.
“Let’s just go inside” I told August
“He’s coming” August responded, looking down the road hoping for dad’s truck to pull in. I rolled my eyes.
“Oh, absolutely! Neither hell or high water could keep him away.” I said sarcastically. Then a vehicle pulls up onto the road leading to the house. My heart sped up and I got excited at the sight, I was finally about to see my dad again. That excitement fell when I realized its not dad’s truck but its Stan Morrison’s.
We greeted Stan and all went inside to have dinner. I was quiet for most of the night, not that anyone really paid attention to me. There wasn't really much for me to talk about since this dinner was supposed to be for dad, which he falled to show up too completely. After dinner I just went into my room while the rest of the adults talked. I started drawing in my sketchbook, nothing too detailed I just like doodling really. Tears were pressing against my eyes, I was so excited to see him again but when didn't show up at all I was heart broken. A knock at my door made me quickly wipe my eyes. The door opened to reveal Uncle Liam, he gave me a small smile.
“How are you holding up Y/N/N?” he asked. I just shrugged my shoulders and continued to look at my doodles. “You know I need a better response than that.” He said while walking further into my room and sitting down on the edge of my bed.
“I just...miss him you know? I haven’t seen him so long. I wish he never took that stupid case.” I said.
“Your dad is saving people when he’s on a case, but I understand that you miss him….and that you're mad at him too.” he told me giving a reassuring smile
“Was it that obvious?” I laughed a little and he nodded smiling.
“Get some rest ok. You have school tomorrow.” He told me, walking towards the door but I stopped him before he could leave.
“Do you think he’s mad at me?” I asked.
“Y/N, we talked about this.” he sighed
“ I know Uncle Liam, it's just...think about it, if I went back when the gunshot went off maybe I could have saved mom?” I mumbled.
“The key word in that sentence is maybe. I told you where the wound was there was an unlikely chance you could have saved her. And if you went back there was a more likely chance you would have gotten shot too.” He reassured you.
“Don't tell me you don't think that if mom was alive, dad wouldn't have been on a case for this long” I snapped. “I should have done something! But I didn't!” I cried. Liam quickly sat on the bed next to me and pulled me into a hug.
“Listen here Y/N, you did the right thing. I know you don't think so but you did but trust me when I tell you, you did everything right. You listen to your mom’s instructions and isn't that your dad’s rule anyway? ‘Always listen to mom’?” he comforted and I nodded at his question.
“I just want him here” you sobbed.
“Me too, me too.” he agreed, rubbing your back comfortably.

Day 4:historical
@aphrarepairweek2021
Sorryforbeingadaylate
Oh warning for very minor swearing(only happens three times) but other then that there is nothing inappropriate and also there is implied period typical homophobia in this
Summary: An 80s human AU where a stressed out Chiara (nyo Romano) is saved from going crazy by a hero(Amelia aka nyo America)
Basically this is just fluff, fluff and more fluff
Chiara Vargas was a second a way from flipping her desk and raging down the halls, or at least she would be if she had not possessed just enough self control to hold back on the urge.
“Fuck fuck fuck….” Chiara muttered, the sound coming out muffled from her face being squished against her desk in failure.
“OH, CHIARA” came a high pitch voice down stairs.
Reluctantly she lifted her head to the sound.
“WHAT?I'M BUSY”,she yelled back, mentally cursing her brother for disturbing her sulking.
“A CERTAIN SOMEONE IS HERE FOR YOU",
“WHO IS IT?”,
“YOU'LL HAVE TO COME DOWN AND SEE",
After managing to hold back a bitter protest she stood up then stormed down stairs.
“This better be worth my time, Feli or l swear to Dio l’ll-",
Chiara came to a halt once she saw the girl beside Feliciano.
“Hey!” a cheerful voice as usual from the smiling blonde with pink sunglasses in her hair, dressed in her demine shorts,  red t-shirt and long white socks with a pair of roughed up old sneakers.
“Amelia- uh hi there" She replied while awkwardly fidgeted with the sleeves of her jacket, embarrassed at the realisation that she had heard her yelling.
“Nice to see you calm down, anyway l’ll you two ladies to it”, he winked at Chiara who rolled her eyes at the look, not sure whether to love or hate that it felt the exact same to when her grandfather would make comments about her bringing a boyfriend home.
He disappeared into the sitting room to join Valentino on the couch.
“I was wondering if you would want to hang out, we haven't done that for ages”,
“Oh right, ugh l don't think l can”,
“Sure you can! You're not busy are you?”,
“l am, study”,
Amelia raised an eyebrow at that.
“Study? Our exams aren't till two weeks" ,
“I know, l know but l'm sick of revising everything on the night before the exam, besides l need as much of time as possible to understand this crap",
“Ah fair enough- how about l help ya with it? math l'm guessing?”,
Sighing at the memory of her many failed attempts at completing and understanding equations and formulas she nodded.
“Yeah, but are you sure?”,
“Definitely!”, stated Amelia with both hands on her hips and standing tall to her eagerness for the task.
“Alright then...",
A while later Chiara found her self back at her desk with Amelia standing beside her reading over her practice questions, nervously waiting for the results.
It felt like an eternity before Amelia finally looked up and spoke.
“And…that's like sixty five percent right!”,
“Sixty five?! Where did l go wrong this time?!”,
They had been at this for quite some time now. Despite Chiara’s frustration she stayed relativity calm for the most part thanks to Amelia’s encouragement and little jokes that made her either outright laugh or complain due to what she claimed was annoyance even if though she did find it humorous.
“Symbols, you forgot them again, there's supposed to be a measurement symbol at the end of this to say whether it's centimetres squared or cubed or meters squared- eh you get the point...", she paused then continued.
Miss Kirkland is your math teacher, right? She's real strict when it comes to small stuff like that so she takes off a lot of marks”, explained Amelia while doodling with the pen in the corner of the practice sheet of paper Chiara had used.
Miss Kirkland, certified smartass- even if it is technically her job to be one. Now, Chiara didn’t exactly hate her but she was far from a favourite in terms of teachers she was forced to put up with.
She hated how Miss Kirkland loved to call on those who she knew where not paying attention, there was a sense of snobbishness when it came to the way Miss Kirkland would proudly correct the unsuspecting student with a smile that more closely resembled a smirk.
“l hate this, I'm so close to getting this right but l keep screwing it up”,
“Come on it's fine! You've made awesome progress since when we started! It's only been like what….an hour? Give yourself some credit",
“…l guess you're right. But I'm also stuck for other things- like history and geography suck",
“ Wanna head to the library? They got good resources for both”, questioned Amelia now looking up from her doodling.
“Nah, I've had enough school for today. Let's do something else, anything in mind?”,
“Ooh! A few things-“,
Understandably Chiara was not surprised when they had arrived at the arcade on their bikes.
“Is this becoming an addiction for you?”,
“Ha-ha very funny, you have your obsessions and l have mine”,
“You even call it obsession, keep all this up and l'll be hosting an intervention for you",
This time Amelia genuinely laughed in response, Chiara savoured every second of the sound.
They were stuck there for a while, when it came to Amelia's great interest and Chiara’s competitive attitude it was easy to guess that there would obviously be competitions to see who could score the highest.
To Chiara’s dislike Amelia ended up winning proportionally more then she did followed by listening to the victory taunts from Amelia.
And it seemed that as quickly as they arrived they where off again.
“No, no, no, nah, no, nope, no”,
“Oh come on! l thought you weren't a quitter”,
“I have my exceptions, this is one of them",
Roller skating, she wanted Chiara to roller skate. Clearly Amelia wasn't aware of the fact that Chiara would likely crawl into the ground out of embarrassment if she would likely- no when, when she would end up falling flat on the floor.
“l'll help ya along! You'll be fine", urged Amelia tilting her head to the side with pleading eyes.
Upon arrival to the centre she instantly felt her heart sink knowing what would be expected her. After much convincing from Amelia and equally as much rants about what could go wrong from Chiara- she ended up agreeing to at least attempting to skate.
Chiara felt her chest tighten and face heat up once she suddenly felt the hand of Amelia intertwine with her own, guiding her into the skating area after they got their roller blades.
It was fascinated to see how effortlessly Amelia could move, practically gliding with ease although at a much slower pace due to guiding Chiara along. For this moment anyway, Chiara forgot how to feel anxious.
The last destination for the day was the local diner.
“Two milkshakes please, a double chocolate for myself and a strawberry and banana mix for her”,
“Coming right up, dear", replied the waitress.
“Oh and don't worry l'm paying, l owe ya for last time with the ice-creams” reassured Amelia after she placed their order.
It was the small things that Chiara adored about Amelia the most, how she remembered her favourite foods was one of them. Along with her passing small notes with funny faces on them to her whenever they shared a class and she had noticed that Chiara was dying of boredom.
They sat on the high chairs in front of the counter top as they awaited her drinks, Amelia flapped her hands with giddy excitement once they were received, Chiara couldn't help smile at the sight.
She thought about sharing the milkshake together, putting the straw in her drink like those shitty romantic movies Amelia loves so much. It would be cute wouldn't it? Cuter to see Amelia's reaction to the gesture! She smiled to herself at the idea.
Then her face dropped.
No, no they couldn't, not here, although her smile was brought back again by looking towards her girlfriend who had all her attention on blowing bubbles into her drink.
“Should you really be playing with your food like that?”, she questioned placing the straw into her own drink.
“Might as well make the most of it when my folks aren't here to tell me off ", Amelia shrugged in response.
Chiara found her self agreeing with that mentality and joined in with the childish behaviour.
They cycled back to the house, it was getting dark already.
Amelia was invited in and the two walked past the living room seeing Feliciano and Valentino with their eyes still glued to their precious TV.
At peace now they were sat together on the back porch. There was a small garden behind the Vargas' house, it was closed off by the tall fence( put there mostly so the neighbour's cat couldn't hope over and ruin the vegetable patches or flowers).
The air was humid all day and was beginning to cool down with the sun getting lower and the clouds moving in.
For what could have been anywhere from a minute to a thousand years the two spoke about anything and everything, the topics seemed to flow so easily, naturally changing with ease.
Finally the two sat in comfortable silence, looking towards the sky who’s colours had turned into oranges, yellows and pinks.
This is what Chiara so deeply enjoyed, how they could just sit together and feel so secure.
Routinely this what would be done for one another if the other was upset and asked for so, this time was often spent with their hand held or being hugged by the other.
There would be times where Chiara in particular would wish to be alone, in cases like this Amelia would go prepare or buy a snack for whenever Chiara is feeling okay again, it gave her something to look forward to when she needed to be alone with her own depressing thoughts.
Sometimes when Amelia would be upset she would just want to vent and vent with no words of “it will be okay" or “look on the bright side of things", Chiara was there to listen and agree with the difficulty of whatever situation she found herself in.
Chiara's head was rested on Amelia’s shoulder, her arm wrapped around her in response to it.
Now it was getting cold, thankfully she still wore her jacket…but maybe…
“Amy?”,
“Yeah?”,she quietly answered back to the nickname.
“It's getting a bit…chilly don't you think? Would you, would you like my jacket?”,
“Oh...Uh sure.If you wouldn't mind that is”, a blush covered Amelia’s cheeks, she was rarely flustered or at least visibly.
The jacket was a gift to Chiara for Christmas from one of her relatives, it was given oversized to her but she kept it since it seemed more comfortable like this. On Amelia the jacket finally looked normal, it fit her well and looked quiet lovely.
They went back to silence until Chiara broke it again.
“Thanks by the way. I really needed today- to get my mind off of all this stupid fucking stress l've been trapped in lately",
“Of course. We all need a break now and then",
“You could say that again…l love you" Chiara looked up, her chin now on Amelia's shoulder.
Amelia glanced down at her and grinned.
“The feeling is mutual, sweetheart"
The end
Okay now for me rambling
Uhhhhh l read through this and l don't think l made any mistakes? I'll edit this if there are and sorry if you saw any, idk l'm bad at checking for mistakes and l don't have someone to proof read for me
Oh and Valentino is human Seborga and alsooo not sure if l made it clear but Feliciano does know about their relationship and also Chiara is Bi and happy to feel valid in her relationship with Amelia as if it were the exact same as when she is with a guy and not something taboo in this time period
ALSO damn, sorry this isn't that particular to the 80s- l did leave out things l was originally going to add in though! Like l was going to have Felicianio and Valentino have a movie marton but according to Wikipedia they werent common around then and the ones that did happen were anime soooo y e p
Also thought about adding in a house cord phone but eh idk it felt nicer to have Amelia visit instead of having Chiara call her or if l tried writting it as Amelia calling and then showing up it just felt forced and weirdly put in any way l tried to write it in
AH l am so worried that this is boring or cringy, like l honestly can't tell if it is or is this fine-ehh l guess l've written worse um yeah if you've read this far thanks :)
(I'm editing this for mistakes and wtf 90 is so high why would she be shocked- damn l think l know why l originally wrote that, l was thinking Amelia said ONE of the questions is 90% right but before it l said she was correcting multiple questions so it reads as multiple questions being 90% right all together ANYWAY l corrected it so it's fine again okay bye -AND it turns out l missed some mistakes yet again-editing this for the 3rd time rip)

Scott McCall doesn’t have a soulmate.
*
They talk about it on television, in school, on the playground, in the supermarket. Scott hears their mom talk about it, and their classmates, and their teachers.
This is why they ask their mom late at night before they go to bed, at eleven years old. “How will I know who my soulmate is, mom?”
Their mother looked confused, but with her soft, familiar smile. They love her smile.
“Didn’t your teacher tell you, sweetheart?” she asks, and Scott has to concentrate, think back to every class and every word and every question. They bite their lip as they think, and their mom laughs in fondness, ruffles their hair. They push her hand away, even though it’s not that annoying, really.
“She said you get drawings on your body…” they begin, but frowns at themself, “But I don’t understand how. Will my soulmate’s name be in the drawings?”
Scott likes drawing, a lot. They don’t really understand how drawings would show them who their soulmate is, though, unless it’s their face.
Their mother chuckles again, but sits quiet for a minute. Scooby-Doo is still running on low volume on the TV, and the crickets have begun to chirp outside the window. And it’s windy, but Scott isn’t cold.
“They’re called tattoos,” she tells them, resting her head on top of their own as she hugs them, “I mean, it’s just something that happens. Your soulmate’s drawings, when they get them, you get them, too.”
Scott’s eyes widen, “Oh. Did they see what Stiles doodled on my hand in class today?”
Their mom plants a kiss on their hair before pulling away. Her eyes get all crinkled when she smiles so big, it’s very pretty. “I think so, yes.”
They chew their lip in some sort of contemplation, if they understood what that meant, yet. They can leave messages for their soulmate, then. They like that. But…
“When can I meet them?”
Scott’s mother sighs quietly, but doesn’t look angry or sad or disappointed, just tired. She turns off the TV and starts clearing up the coffee table while she replies, “Somehow you find them. Everyone finds theirs differently, different times. Their drawings tell a lot about them.”
They don’t like that answer that much. Ugh. They huff impatiently, “But I want to meet them! Now!”
And, of course, their mom is already picking them up, carrying them upstairs while chuckling quietly. The house seems bigger without their dad here. And more peaceful.
They like it much better like this. Hopefully it stays this way. Just Scott and their mom, they don’t need anyone else, they can’t even bring themself to care about where their dad might be or might be doing.
Okay, they need Stiles, though. His dad is nice, too.
“You’ll meet them, Scott,” their mother says while tucking them, “I promise you will, one day. But you have to be patient.”
They hate waiting. But their mom knows everything, she knows all the little beautiful things about the world, so Scott knows she’s right. Patience.
“Okay. Pinky promise?” they ask.
She hugs them again, for good measure. “Pinky promise.”
Scott has to be satisfied with the answer. But although their mother turns off the lights and leaves the door to their room just slightly ajar, they hide under their duvet with the sketchpad she gave them for their birthday last year.
Maybe this soulmate thing is like… a string. A string connecting them and whoever’s made for them, even though they’re miles away, at the other end of the world, even. They can’t see it, but that doesn’t mean it’s not there. Like air.
They like that. An invisible string.
Scott draws two hands, connected by the string tied on their pinky fingers. They use the gold pen for the string.
*
Lately, the thought of their soulmate has moved to the back of Scott’s mind.
It rests there, because after months of worrying and thinking and crying and what they now recognize as  gender dysphoria , Scott is about to tell their best friend that they’re nonbinary. They’re so fucking scared, they almost want to cry again.
They’ve already told their mom, which took them a month alone to decide on. Because what if she suddenly saw them differently? What if she didn’t love them anymore? What if she kicked them out?
It’s always been her and them, against the world. That couldn’t change.
And luckily, thank the stars and heavens above, it didn’t, and Scott’s never been so relieved in their life. They didn’t expect her to be close-minded or bigoted, they’ve always thought the highest of her, but the possibility, the fear still nagged there. They were so fucking glad to put it to rest, finally.
So here Scott is, in their bedroom on a late Wednesday afternoon, waiting for Stiles to finish his homework before he comes over to play video games, as they always do, twice a week, even though their parents eagerly want them to wait for the weekend.
Scott’s heart feels like it’ll jump out of their chest at any second.
They finally know who they are. They only assume the last puzzle piece of their whole self, of their soul to be completed by their soulmate, but the sense of peace they felt when they finally thought…  this is who I am. This is who I’m meant to be .
What if Stiles doesn’t understand? No, what if he doesn’t accept them for who they are? What if his love is conditional?  Fuck . Scott almost wants to scream.
Their heart is still clawing its way out of their chest when their best friend finally knocks on their window and lets himself in, a huge grin plastered on his face and carrying his own selection of games for them to compare with their own.
Stiles is always so happy. Well, not always, but he’s the rock Scott so desperately needs right now, like he’s been so many times before, and like they’ve been for him. They’ve drawn him many times before, and he always says he likes the drawings. And they let him doodle on their arm and hand when he’s anxious, because somehow they both find comfort in this.
They know the two of them aren’t soulmates, they think of each other as family rather than romantically, but they’re still meant for each other, they think. They hope. Stiles knows them better than anyone else, even their mother.
“You ready, Scotty?” he asks, chipper as ever, already turning on the playstation, and the nickname calms their ever painful heartbeat, just a little.
Here goes nothing.
“Yeah, uhm… Stiles?” they speak around the lump in their throat, “Can- can we talk first?”
Their best friend looks up at them from the floor, a slightly confused look on his face, but the smile intact. He returns to seat himself on the couch, not grabbing the remote. That makes Scott smile.
“Of course, Scotty. Is something wrong?”
“No. Yes. Uh, no. Shit, sorry-” they’re already stumbling over the words, fuck, but Stiles puts a hand on their shoulder, tentatively, but his precense calm and assuring.
“Don’t apologise!” his smile is crooked, and he crosses his legs before continuing, “You know you can tell me anything, right? I mean, take your time!”
Scott nods. They take a deep breath, the seconds ticking by. Closes their eyes together just for a moment. Opens again.
“Stiles, I…” they’re trying, calming their heartbeat with breathing in through their nose and out through their mouth, like their mom taught them.  You can do this. “Please don’t freak out. I’m still me, like… I don’t wanna lose you.”
Their best friend frowns. “You’re not gonna lose me, Scotty.”
Scott gulps, nods. They’re trying. Really trying. “I’m nonbinary.”
They keep their eyes squeezed shut when they say it. It’s out there now. They don’t want to see his face change, if his reaction is bad, but they have to. They have to look. A beat passes. And Scott opens their eyes to find their best friend looking at them, smiling so hard his dimples are visible and nose scrunches up.
Oh, my god. That’s good, right?
“That’s great!” Stiles almost shouts, practically jumping in his seat. He does realise his volume, though, particularly since Scott’s mom is sleeping before her night shift. He clears his throat, “Scotty, oh my god. Sorry, I got excited. Thank you for telling me.”
Scott could almost fucking cry, again. But it’s happy tears this time, the nerves vanishing ever so slowly.
“You’re not… upset?”
Their best friend almost looks offended at the question, “Why in the world would I be upset?”
Scott bites their lip. God, they love Stiles so much, “I don’t know, uhm. I was scared you wouldn’t wanna be friends with me anymore. Because I’m not a boy.”
The brunette next to them goes all soft and gooey in his eyes, Scott would know that look anywhere. He also looks like he wants to jump them with hugs, but holding himself back, “Scotty, we’re ride or die, remember? I love you. You’re my best friend and that won’t change. What kind of asshole would I be to leave you like that?”
Scott laughs, Stiles is urging to hug them they can tell, like an oversized puppy.
And they’re speaking around the newly formed tears now, “I love you, Stiles. Like, so much. Thank you.”
Their best friend is grinning like an idiot. “What pronouns do you want to go by? Oh, and should I call you something else- like, not Scott?”
“I still like Scott,” they tell him, not bothering to cover the crying, because whatever. They’ve cried in front of each other plenty, “I’d like they/them pronouns, though, I think.”
Stiles nods eagerly, “Got it!” Then, “Can I hug you now?”
Scott rolls their eyes. Of course. “Yeah, come on.”
Their best friend practically tackles them in the hug, but it’s so bloody welcome, and so warm. Thank God they’re already sitting down.
*
“I want to be a tattoo artist,” Scott tells their friends at lunch, career day still settled in their mind from weeks ago, and the arguments roaming in their head on how to convince their mom to let them go for their first tattoo next month. It’s for their birthday.
Feels natural when they’ve always been fascinated by art as much as them. The galleries their mother took them to, they’re endlessly grateful for that, honestly.
And art summer school, and art elective, one thing leads to another. And tattooing is just art with skin as a canvas, they can’t stop thinking about it. Little works of art on your body, to carry around with you every day. It feels so special and with so much meaning - or with no meaning, they’re just as fun.
Stiles already knows - of course he does - and he’s excited about it, still, while Allison smiles as sweetly as ever, Malia’s eyes widen and she’s already convincing Scott to make her first one, and Isaac… is smirking?
It’s shy, but it’s there, they’re sure of it.
He was transferred to their high school six months ago, and frankly fits perfectly into their group, Scott thinks, even though their best friend doesn’t exactly get along with him. They’re idiots, but oh well,  their idiots.
Isaac was nervous at first, they could tell. But when Scott gave him a smile in class, he gave one back, tentative, hesitant, but it couldn’t be mistaken. And once they started talking to him, questioning the red haired boy about games and lacrosse and his schedule, he opened up, slowly and surely.
Even though Scott did much of the talking at first, Isaac didn’t seem to mind. They apologised, knowing how fast and excited they can be, much like Stiles, but he still accepted the offer of having lunch with the gang, and he’s witty, and smart, and a good listener. Well, Stiles disagrees, but you know. They bicker just for the hell of it, at this point.
The two girls missing from the table quickly join them and Kira’s eager to catch up, “What are we talking about?”
Scott likes Kira, a lot. Maybe… maybe she’s their soulmate. God, they don’t know.
Her smile is very pretty, she knows so much cool stuff about astrology and is like, easily the best player on the lacrosse team, by a mile. Jackson’s always on her ass because he’s a douche, and definitely power-hungry after being named the new captain, but Kira rolls her eyes at him and brushes him off like it’s nothing. Scott admires her.
The two of them can talk for hours about music and other shit that Stiles only rolls his eyes a little bit at, but even though he calls them nerds, he also joins them way too often and unashamedly.
And he’s just acting uninterested to seem cool in front of Lydia, usually.
But at the same time, Isaac’s smile is also very pretty, and his jokes are the best. He always laughs at Scott’s jokes, too, which they really like. He keeps whispering sarcastic comments in their ear during class and rolls his eyes when the teachers aren’t looking, which makes Scott laugh.
And he’s an expert at texting in secret, always sending them pictures he took over the weekend of graffiti tags around town and puppies on the train and bumblebees, all because those reminded him of them.
Isaac’s nose gets all scrunched up when he laughs and his eyes squeeze shut.
The boy also loves zombie movies, which is a huge plus in their book, and wears big floppy sweaters that are excellent for hugs. Isaac is already a really good hugger, he’s always… warm and soft and safe.
Maybe he’s their soulmate. Stiles would be so upset if that were true, ha.
Scott’s listened to their mother, though, they know patience is a virtue, and maybe neither of them are their soulmate. None of them have found their soulmate yet, anyway, so they shouldn’t stress, right now, they should just look forward to the future.
“Scott’s gonna give me my first tattoo!” Malia exclaims excitedly, Lydia only seeming mildly surprised, “Right, Scott?”
They laugh, they love the brunette’s undying loyalty and curiosity a lot, “I gotta practice first, but yeah, of course.”
“You’ll get us all tattoos, right?” Allison winks at them, “We can be your guinea pigs.”
Lydia chimes in, “Not gonna happen.”
“Oh, come on Lydia!” Stiles gasps, “Don’t you trust my best friend?”
He’s so giving her heart eyes, right now. Scott’s used to it by now, and it’s adorable, only slightly annoying, given that his plan of asking her out has yet to be set in motion. They wonder if the redhead has noticed.
Lydia sends a crooked smile in their direction after flipping their best friend off, “I’ll trust them when they’re trained. No offense, babe.”
They shake their head, patting Stiles’ back. Love the defense of their honor, even when unneeded. “I feel the same way, Lyds.”
The support is unwavering and overwhelming with all of them, even Lydia. The most surprising and pleasant thing of the day, though, is when Isaac purses his lips as they walk to P.E., then smiles at Scott in a way they know is only meant for them, “You can practice on me, even though I’ll probably faint from the needle. Maybe I could get a turtle.”
Scott can’t hide their grin, “I like that.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
*
When Scott gets their first tattoo, Stiles holds their hand - before he faints, that is. He recovered quickly, it was endearing, really. They felt fine however; maybe the excitement filled up too much of their being to be worried about the pain.
Thankfully their mother approved of the tattoo and what they wanted to do with their art. She’d always been supportive, but, you know… sometimes, they worry too much. About everything.
She liked the drawing they chose, too.
Two rings around their bicep, simple black lines, but it meant a lot to them, and far, far from the last. It’s like them and their mother, they think: constant orbit with each other. She’s always protected them. They always want to protect her. Stiles called them a big old sap for it, and he’s right.
Scott planned it on their birthday, making sure to have the whole gang out for the fair, and roller skates, and showing off their tattoo with buckets of pride.
And if their stomach soared a little whenever a certain tall red haired boy smiled at them, that’s for themself to deal with. They think their best friend might be getting suspicious, given the half fond, half intensely weird looks he’s given them lately, when the whole group’s gotten together, but never said anything.
God knows if they knew what they would do about it. Scott doesn’t understand it, but… Isaac looking at them just feels right. It’s probably a little dangerous crushing on one of your close friends. Especially when you don’t know if they’re your soulmate, or who they are at all.
But apparently the universe finds it appropriate to sort this maybe or maybe not issue for them, after the fall break, when Scott finds Isaac’s seat strangely empty, and suddenly, the teacher’s shocking them to their core when she lets the class know the red haired boy’s been pulled out of the school and his family’s relocating.
In Paris. What… what the hell?
Scott doesn’t understand it. They can’t.
Isaac hasn’t said anything about this, they don’t remember, neither to them alone or to the whole group. Even Stiles looks at them with wide eyes, and Allison’s frowning from the back row.
The whole week the group doesn’t quite… work. They try to process it. Fuck. It just feels weird, unreal, not real at all.
Why would the boy just leave like that, unannounced? They would’ve hoped he would say goodbye. Scott doesn’t find themself wishing for an explanation, they just wanted to say goodbye. And ask if they did something wrong. Anything.
But the gang tries, of course, the routine returns piece by piece, even though Stiles and Lydia still argue about their possible theories on why Isaac left.
Scott just feels so, so guilty, for absolutely no reason. He seemed different after their birthday, somehow, which they’re only just thinking about now. Maybe they’re making it up, to rationalize it, somehow. They’ve got no fucking idea.
He didn’t come to school for a few days after their birthday party, that is, but… he was sick, he said. Just a fever. It was fine, he said.
Scott should get out of their own head. And Stiles says he’s the overthinker of the two.
And while their little world seems to circulate, still, Scott just feels numb, until three weeks later. Until their mother drops down on the couch while they’re watching reruns of Jeopardy and suddenly Scott has tears trickling down their cheeks, without even realising it.
Their mom seems just as confused, and upset, as themself, but she wraps her arms around them without even asking, of course she does. She tries to protect them.
But there’s nothing to protect them from, really. Just sadness. And a broken heart, maybe, one that they’re not even sure how to mend.
God, they wish Isaac was here. Guess he’s not their soulmate, after all.

Kira’s the first one of the group to find their soulmate. Actually, Kira and Malia, because it turns out they’re meant for each other.
It makes sense immediately to Scott, knowing of the brunette’s crush on the other girl, one she’s made vocal to them and Stiles since sophomore year. Wide eyes, making excuses for Kira to help her with her homework, grabbing extra dessert for her. Scott’s been rooting for them ever since they realised.
It’s just before senior year; where Malia proudly shows off the rubber duck tattoo Scott gave her on her ankle, after much discussion of how it should look.
“Like a rubber duck,” she told them, “But you know, with legs. Like a real duck. But not real.”
Scott had furrowed their brows while trying to follow, “Like a cartoon?”
And since she nodded, absolutely ecstatic, they got to work. They were so lucky to find an internship, and a mentor, and their mother looked so proud, almost near the verge of tears. She’s so dramatic sometimes, they love her for that.
Malia was a bit squeamish at first, which Scott doesn’t blame her for in any way, obviously. The ankle is a brave place for the first one, they’ll admit, but their friend insisted relentlessly, and they had to give in.
She put on a brave face soon enough, and took Stiles’ hand as much as she refused and called him a dick. And it turned out cool as hell!
Scott concentrates, hard, as they practice, and they’re still getting used to skin as opposed to paper. Softer, and they have to reangle their hands from time to time, even though they’re still stuck on smaller pieces for now.
They’ve been chewing their lip so much in concentration that it started bleeding once, a reminder to work off that habit. Maybe they should get Stiles to call them out on it. Like, do an eagle scream, or something, as he does whenever he wants to get their attention already.
Speaking of their best friend, he’s gotten a little better with it already, not afraid to look at the process now.
“It’s fascinating, I’ll admit,” he tells them on yet another one of their traditional game nights, But way, way too painful, Scotty. How do you put yourself through several of them?”
Their own first was on the arm, of course, which isn’t too bad, and they kept the second one on their arm as well; Kermit the Frog. It’s funny. They like the Muppets. Sue them. Stiles loved it, too, so they’ve already got approval. Lydia definitely loves it, too, despite her initial skepticism.
But as Malia lifts her foot to show everyone on the bleachers, tradition as they wait for Kira to get off lacrosse practice, the very same girl nearly chokes on her water, prompting concerned looks from everyone, until Kira sits down and reveals her own ankle. The duck.
Needless to say, Malia becomes a blushing mess.
Kira, however, doesn’t look surprised at all. “I knew it was you!”
“Y-you did?” the girl stammers out, her foot still hanging in the air, probably out of sheer shock.
The dark haired girl giggles, wiping the sweat off of her forehead, before crossing her legs. She looks near bliss, Scott thinks. They’ve never seen an expression like that before. It makes them crave meeting their own even more.
The group stays in a strange, light, peaceful sort of silence until the coach calls Kira back, Malia’s face practically looking like a tomato at that point. Stiles is laughing hysterically at her, leaning on Scott’s shoulder, and she punches him several times until he hides behind them, almost using them as a shield. Almost, because Malia would never hit Scott, obviously, that’s reserved for the boy cowering behind them.
Their friends are such idiots.
The brunette freezes on the spot when her soulmate gets up, planting a kiss on her forehead before running off, saluting the group.
“We’ll meet at the ice cream stand!” she yells. Scott salutes back. Malia waves awkwardly.
“You okay, Mal?” they gotta ask, to reassure themself she hasn’t mentally shut off.
“Oh my god,” she squeaks, “Oh, yeah. Yeah!”
Stiles laughs even louder than before. Allison joins him. Malia may chase them both across the field, until the coach has to break them up, and now, the girl easily jumps into her soulmate’s embrace for protection.
Lydia shakes her head at it all. All in all an outstanding day for them, Scott thinks.
*
Straight out of graduation, tearful goodbyes to their friends even though they’ll see each other the week after, Scott’s got so far they’re taking clients. Their boss is proud of their progress, and they were a nervous wreck before the evaluation, but God, they feel a little proud of themself, too.
Of course, this means their friends are eager for them to practice on them and save money.
Kira’s the first in line; she wants the solar system, on a line down her spine. Scott isn’t surprised when she eagerly tells them about the planet symbolism, and she intensely stares at them drawing up the design, Malia sharing the excitement.
It’s her second, actually, the first being the one she got last year, in honor of her mom. She also seemed profusely apologetic for not going to Scott for her first, which they found adorable.
And yeah, they have to break it up in two sessions with a large piece like this, luckily the both of them are staying in town.
When Kira sees the finished result, she almost cried, they swear. “The colors are amazing, oh my God,” she tells them, already spinning around excitedly and hugging them tightly, “Thank you babeeeee. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
Scott always finds themself giggling along with the girls, it’s only natural, “Don’t mention it.”
The two of them gasp, as shocked as in a Greek tragedy. “Keep mentioning it, dummy.” she tells them, and Malia adds, “You gotta book me for next week. I want a wolf!”
Allison’s the farthest away from the group, three states over; of course, they keep the promise of monthly reunions, more than once a month, even, which makes Scott feel impossibly warm every time. They still kind of wish Isaac was there. Damn.
It’s in April when Allison brings them a drawing she wants tattooed on her forearm. A portrait of a woman, with a bow and arrow, a stag at her side, and the moon looming over them both. It’s gorgeous.
“Obviously you’re a better artist than me, but this is my general idea,” she says sheepishly, as they hand her her bubble tea, “It’s Artemis.”
Greek goddess of animals and nature, that childhood obsession with mythology wasn’t for nothing. Allison’s been doing archery since she was thirteen, so it practically screams her. Scott gets seriously nervous about it, to be honest, like anxiously sweating kind of nervous, but luckily, she loves it. Thank God. They’re always scared to fuck up, especially on their friends.
But it’s way, way easier now, like they could do it asleep.
And that’s sort of put to the test, actually, because Stiles and themself decide to get drunk off their asses one Friday night, it’s been ages. And fuck it, they’re allowed to have fun. And enjoy cheap, horribly tasting beer at that.
Once they get home to Scott’s flat (taking the subway of course, even though their best friend had to be dragged away from his truck, they really dodged a bullet there, Jesus), Stiles gets to that point of his drunkenness where he starts getting philosophical and a little sad.
“What if I never meet them, Scotty,” he whines, in reference to his soulmate, that is. Scott themself gets extremely jumpy and bubbly under the influence, without failure, but they still know that frustration all too well.
“You will, honey,” they tell him.
“You promise?!”
“Prooooomise.”
They both contemplate his soulmate’s tattoos for a while. A flock of birds on his ribcage, a Sylvia Plath quote by his shoulder, a tree with its roots circling his wrist.
Neither of them has anyone they know in mind, but anything is possible! Scott still hasn’t spotted any of their soulmate’s tattoos. They’ve been thinking about it for some time now, and well. It’s disappointing, but they have plenty of time. They’ll get plenty more tattoos themself to their already growing sleeve, so they try not to worry about it  too much.
Their best friend suggests they play Mario Kart, which can only end in disaster, but then, “You should tattoo my ass, Scotty.”
Scott blinks twice, the statement shocking their drunk brain just a bit, “What?
“My ass!” he exclaims, now happier than ever, yearning for his soulmate forgotten in a split second, “Babe, pleaseee. Wait. Wait, wait, draw Harrison Ford.”
They can’t even process the request before their best friend pulls a headshot of said actor up, and starts clearing the sofa, “Indiana Jones is his best role, like… like… yeah.”
Scott laughs long and hard, this is insane. Of course, their judgement is clouded by the alcohol, right now, so what the fuck, why not.
This is why Stiles ends up lying on his stomach with his jeans halfway down, Scott sitting by his feet, the light of the iPhone glaring both their eyes at 4am.
“Ow!” he yells, like, thirty times, each time they have to laugh and then shush him, because they really can’t deal with noise complaints as sleep deprived as they are right now.
“Stop moving!” they tell him.
“But I can’t.”
“Yes, you can.”
Stiles drags out the two-letter word to the greatest extent, “Nooooo.”
“Yes,” they laugh again, “I believe in you.”
“Love you, Scotty,” their best friend proclaims, still yelling a bit, but finally lying relatively still.
Scott rolls their eyes, “Love you too, idiot. Won’t be long now.”
“Make sure you capture his eyes right, babe! It’s extremely important!”
“I know, I know.”
*
To Scott’s great surprise, the tattoo turns out incredibly detailed.
In fact, it might be some of their best work yet. They’re not quite sure if they should be proud that they can work while intoxicated, or ashamed that their best work is, well… when they’re not sober.
Stiles laughs for almost two hours straight, then gushes over it.
“I’m sorry, man,” they had to say, “It was stupid.”
“Are you fucking kidding?” he tells them from where he’s admiring his own ass in the mirror, “This is incredible. Holy fuck. You captured his DILF-yness perfectly.”
Scott rubs their eyes, they have slept till 2pm, and the sunlight still isn’t doing wonders for them, “His what?”
Their best friend returns to their bed and burrows his face in the pillow. “He’s a DILF! Dad I’d like to fuck!”
That’s definitely an explanation that wakes Scott right up. They’ve never heard of that acronym, but fair enough. They’re also rather speechless, which the boy next to them senses, when Stiles looks up and shakes his head, “Scotty, Scotty. Aren’t you lucky you have such an insightful best friend as myself?”
The morning ends in a pillow fight, naturally.
*
It’s no more than a day after their night out that Scott finally,  finally  convinces Stiles to call Lydia and ask her on a date.
He’s sworn to his ten-year plan for ages now, with little to no action on his part, so this is major progress. Their best friend spills all his worries to them, but honestly? Scott isn’t all that worried.
They can’t say for sure what the outcome will be, but judging by Stiles’ retellings of the late night text conversations and smiles the red haired girl shoots in the boy’s direction when she probably didn’t realise people were looking, Scott’s got some sort of feeling that their friend might feel the same.
Okay, they haven’t talked to Lydia about it, admittedly. They swore secrecy to their best friend, and they intend to keep that promise.
But Scott recognizes that gleam in her eyes. It’s much like Malia’s looking at her soulmate, they think. Or maybe they’re completely in the wrong. They probably shouldn’t doubt it, or Stiles will only doubt himself more.
“She’s  way out of my league, Scotty!” he exclaims for the fifth time on their FaceTime, as he’s listed pros and cons to the proposition.
They smile at the boy on their phone screen, trying to look as assuring as possible, “Lydia’s awesome, I know. But you shouldn’t put yourself down as much as you do, you know that, right?”
Stiles huffs, “I know.”
“You do?”
“I do!” he almost whines.
Scott nods, “Alright. Babe, the worst thing that could happen is that she says no. You won’t know unless you try.”
“But what if it ruins everything?” their best friend worries again, “Maybe she won’t… want to be friends, then. I don’t wanna upset her-”
“Stiles,” they feel the need to interrupt, readjusting themself on the couch, “She likes you, I know it, even if it’s just as friends. If she says no, then you’ll know and you can get over her. I don’t think she’d cut you off completely. She cares about you.”
Stiles sighs, deeply and dramatically, but the look on his face tells Scott that he knows they’re right.
“If you say so.”
And not even an hour later, their best friend calls them up again, flimsy camera and nearly screaming, because Lydia Martin said yes. Stiles looked like he was near tears.
Later that night, Lydia texted them, asking if he would find a picnic in the park too boring for a first date - clearly, she was nervous, and Scott’s never seen, or heard her nervous before. They think the two of them will be just fine.
Granted, neither of them know who their soulmates are, but when they’ve liked each other for as long as they have, to hell with it, right?
Scott spends the night and next morning thinking about it. Less about their friends, who already arranged the date today, as much as they’re excited for them. They just… now there’s two couples in their friend group. They’re so happy for their friends, they really are, but this soulmate thing is looking a bit frustrating, sometimes.
When Allison came out to the group as aromantic and asexual in the beginning of junior year (and after Scott hugged their friend so she nearly feel over on the grass, the nerves disappearing from her laugh much the same way that they had felt when they came out to Stiles, and the rest of the group) Malia blurted out a question, “Do you have any soulmate tattoos?”
“Mal!” Lydia gave her a pointed look, but the dark haired girl chuckled.
“It’s fine,” she told her best friend, and all of them, “I don’t. Either the universe knows what’s up and hasn’t given me one, or whoever it is just doesn’t have tattoos. Fucked if I know how it all works.”
Scott hates the fact that it created a nagging little thought in the back of their mind. It’s still tiny, but still living there, showing its ugly head late at night when their anxiety gets at them.
Maybe they don’t have a soulmate at all.
Shit.
Fuck.
What if?
They don’t have much time to worry about it that evening, though, when some stubborn knocks sound on their door, and they open it up to reveal Lydia and Stiles. They’re holding hands, Scott can’t help but grin.
Stiles has much the same expression on his face. Lydia looks a bit furious.
“Did you tattoo Harrison Ford on his ass?” she asks, voice impatient.
Their eyes widen, and look back and forth between them, but their best friend just looks lovestruck and a little confused.
“You showed her?” they ask, and the redhead sighs, “No. I’m asking because I have a picture of Harrison Ford on  my ass.”
The shock takes the both of them aback.
Lydia’s upset about the tattoo, not them being soulmates, thank God, because Scott was rooting for them a lot. She rolls her eyes hard as they explain their drunken mishap, crossing her arms, but they’d know the fond smile anywhere. She doesn’t hide it anymore.
“Sorry,” Stiles says over and over.
Needless to say, the boy freezes on the spot when Lydia rises and shuts him up with a kiss, “You’re an idiot, you know.”
He nods eagerly, “I know.”
“Yet I love you,” she states, and Stiles looks like he’s about to faint.
“You-you do?!”
Lydia looks content, and takes his hand again. She also ruffles Scott’s hair with her other hand, commending them for bringing them together, evidently, “Obviously.”
*
It’s the first day of December, a little after midnight, that Scott comes to a conclusion.
They’ve been lying awake in bed for two hours now, tossing and turning, and since they can’t sleep their brain starts going into overdrive.
The group is gonna have a get together before they return home to their mom. Stiles constantly gushes about Lydia, of course. Kira called them on Malia’s birthday and confessed that she’s thinking about proposing to her girlfriend on New Year’s Eve.
They… are happy for them. So very much. They’re not lying in any way.
But why the fuck do they feel so lonely?
They’ve been paying more attention to their skin, desperately keeping their eyes out for tattoos that aren’t their own. Maybe they could’ve missed if it blended into their now fully closed sleeve. Or… or maybe it’s in a place they didn’t think of before.
But days have been going on and on, and Scott has been counting every single one of their pieces, and every single one they recognize.
The lavenders and forget-me-nots, the Millennium Falcon, the pac-man, their mother’s favorite song, the  idiot #2  tramp stamp that matches Stiles’  idiot #1 .
Nothing unfamiliar, nothing’s out of place.
This is why the thing that’s been worrying them sick ever since that day their tall, red haired friend had mysteriously dropped out, and almost vanished into thin air, finally sneaks out of its hiding place and hits them with full force.
It must be the only liable explanation.
Scott probably won’t get any sleep tonight. Scott’s also pretty sure they don’t have a soulmate.
*
They’ve been living with the fact that they don’t have a soulmate for, hm, well - almost two years now. And it’s fine, really. They’re slowly getting used to it, anyway.
Scott told their mother after Christmas when they realised, and she almost worries out of her skin, but they were a bit too embarrassed to cry in front of her then. Hopeless romantic and all.
Stiles also reacted to the conclusion by cuddling them for a whole weekend, letting them win every video game they played and buying them so many snacks it’s shocking neither of them passed out from that heavy of an amount of sugar.
All their friends shared their frustration, and sadness, in their own way, and so they never felt alone about it. Always and endlessly supported. They love them so much.
But yeah, they just had to carry on with life. What else is there to do?
And although they still think about it in both good and bad moments, they’ve distanced themself just a little bit from it all, worrying just an inch less, working hard and spending time with their best friend and gang whenever possible.
It’s getting easier, more peaceful.
Scott’s set up an Instagram dedicated to their portfolio, and clearly their friends got the word spread back to Beacon Hills, and around it. And lots of other places. Kira and Malia became their unofficial promoters last summer, when the couple went on a road trip around Europe, to celebrate the engagement.
The wedding is this summer, also, which Scott cannot possibly contain their excitement about. They love those girls.
Their best friend is joint best man, of course, Allison joint maid of honor, and the reception playlist is already piled upon with Dolly Parton and Megan Thee Stallion. They love their friends’ music taste, for real.
So all in all, they’re doing pretty great. Well, February is filled with a bit too much of the Valentine’s Day ads and hype for their taste, but they’ll come to not mind it eventually. Hopefully.
And right now, Scott’s headed for the tattoo parlor (they got a permanent position, holy fuck) to draw up some designs and check out the bookings for next week. It’s a quiet afternoon, after the weekly morning call with their mother, and the group chat is ever so chaotic as always.
They’ve already got, like, sixty missed messages since they left the flat, Jesus.
And so they’re stood on the train station, train arriving in five minutes, checks their phone and then-
Then. Holy fuck.
Is this real life?
Are they imagining things?
Or is it… is it him?
On the opposite side of the tracks, Scott spots a tall figure, with curly red hair and dressed in a green turtleneck and black jeans. They must be confusing them.
Except the person turns around, and, oh my God.
It’s Isaac. It’s Isaac Lahey.
And Scott doesn’t know what to fucking do, except their jaw drops like an idiot, staring until the boy-uh, man on the other side widens his blue eyes, looking directly into their own brown. This is real.
About twenty agonizing seconds pass by as they both process what’s happening before the redhead waves, a small, hesitant one. So naturally, Scott waves back.
That’s that. Then Isaac points in the direction of the exits. They nod immediately.
He leaves. They leave. Oh God, oh god, oh god.
*
When Scott ascends the stairs out onto the bustling streets, it seems like they’ve been waiting forever. Their brain is such a drama queen.
And there the red headed man stands- he’s tall, still, half a head taller than them. When he spots them going in his direction, a smile forms on his lips, and it’s soft and shy and all too familiar.
This could easily have Scott in tears, but they hold it in.
When they’re finally face to face with their old friend, they can’t help returning the smile. Isaac keeps moving his gaze from their eyes to the ground, back and ground, like he’s scared to look at them too long. Scott swallows around the lump in their throat, unsure of what to do.
They never, ever, in a million years expected this to happen. They never thought they would see him again. Yet, here he is.
Scott clears their throat in an attempt to sound cool and collected, although they fail horrendously, “Hey.”
“Hi,” the taller man answers.
Well, that’s a start, right?
Yet again they’re processing, thinking, they can almost see the cogs in Isaac’s brain turning, until their mouth decides to speak before their brain can decide on the words, “Can I buy you a coffee?”
Thank their lucky stars, Isaac nods instantly.
And it’s when they’ve gone to the nearest café, Scott nursing a café latte while Isaac settles with his iced coffee, that they start talking. And talking. And talking.
The conversation flows immediately, and so easily, almost like they were never apart.
It’s surprising, yet safe. Scott has to ask what they could only wonder about all these years.
“Why did you… why did you leave?” they get out, before they can lose their courage. And when their old friend’s mouth twists into a frown, and his eyes fill with something like a pained memory instead of nostalgia, they instantly regret the question.
Isaac speaks before they can apologise, though, “I’m sorry.”
“I was about to say the same, I didn’t mean to-”
“Scott, no,” he interrupts, with a small sigh, “I want to tell you. It’s, uhm… maybe it’s easier if I show you.”
They find themself furrowing their brows in confusion, “Show me?”
The man nods and takes a sip from his coffee before he rolls up the sleeve of his hoodie. And then… there’s a Kermit, there, on his wrist. The lavender branches travelling up his arm, right up to the two black bands, encircling his bicep.
Scott feels like the world is moving in slow-motion. It’s just Isaac, in front of them. And he’s got all their tattoos.
They realise they’ve been quiet when the man in front of him starts looking worried, and so they say the first thing they can think of, “You’re my soulmate?”
He nods again.
Scott has a soulmate. They’ve got a soulmate and… he’s right in front of them.
The boy they’ve been harboring feelings for since they first became friends. The tall, clumsy stranger who’s overly critical of zombie lore and talked in his sleep whenever he stayed over at their house, and… the boy who hugged them in the queue to the go-karts, just because he could.
Holy shit.
Scott doesn’t even realise the tears falling from their eyes before Isaac’s confusion intensifies, and they try to wipe at their cheek, a little embarrassed. But fuck that. “Sorry. Oh my God. Isaac, I thought- I thought I didn’t have one. Shit, I was terrified. I never got any tattoos… that weren’t my own.”
And so, the redhead’s smile starts getting a little teary as well. He chuckles, his voice breaks, but he looks  so happy. They’ve missed that smile beyond belief.
“Yeah, uh,” he clears his throat, “Still not good with needles.”
They smile at each other in the silence for a moment. Scott doesn’t want to keep questioning if Isaac doesn’t want to tell them, so they just… look at him for a moment. He still is just as pretty as last time they saw him, but he’s grown his hair a bit longer, his arms more defined, he’s wearing tighter jeans than he used to.
The bustle of the other residents and the baristas busy behind the counter goes on for a beat, before Isaac speaks again, “I didn’t leave by choice. I-I would’ve said goodbye. If it was my decision.” Scott nods. They know.
“It’s my dad,” the redhead continues, “Uhm… ever since my mom died, he… became violent. He beat me. And when he didn’t, he, uh, locked me in the basement. Those were my sick days.”
The man in front of him winces, wipes at his eye in defiance and Scott does, too.
Fuck.  Fuck . And they never fucking knew.
“Isaac… I’m so, so sorry. Fuck,” they feel they still have tears threatening their way, and they don’t know how to stop them, struggling with their words. “I should’ve been there for you, I should-”
“Don’t,” he tells them, “You didn’t know, Scott. None of you knew.”
“But I should’ve known-”
“It’s not your fault. Please believe me when I say that.”
They nod again. Isaac still has that timid smile on his face, as teary as it is, as their smile probably is as well. The thought of their friend being abused, and… going through it  alone , not being able to reach out for help, that no one fucking stepped in, it pains Scott in an unspeakable way, right now.
The redhead swallows before speaking again, “After your birthday, after your tattoo, well, I got it as well. And it didn’t take long for him to piece together that it was you. He monitored my phone. And he was a fucking bigot, so his reaction wasn’t exactly positive.”
Scott feels the urge to hold Isaac’s hand, and in fact, before their brain can stop it their hand already touches his on the table.
When they realise, they take it back, “Sorry, I didn’t-”, but Isaac grabs their hand back again, his lying on top of their own. He sniffles, wipes at his eyes again, but the warmth radiating from him is immediate.
“So he forced me to France, cut me off from everyone, and we stayed there, and I cried myself to sleep every night,” he tells, his frown deepening, “Until Camden was discharged.”
His older brother, Scott remembers. He signed up for the army.
“He lived with us for three days before my dad threw a glass at me over the dinner table, right in front of him. My brother knocked him out on the spot. We got the hell out of there.”
Isaac smiles again, breathing a little easier. Scott feels the same.
“I’m glad,” they say and squeezes his hand. Their heart flutters when their friend squeezes it back.
“So…” Isaac starts again, a sigh escaping his lips, “Now I’m here. That was two years ago, and, uh, yeah. We roamed around for a while, too scared he’d try to find us. Camden got us a place out of town, though, it’s too… loud in here sometimes.”
He runs his free hand through his curls and takes another sip of the coffee. Scott’s practically forgotten about their drink by now, it must be cold.
“And a therapist,” the redhead says, “I got a therapist. I need one.”
His smile grows, little by little. It’s still the shy one, just like Scott remembers, screwed up by tears and the rain. He looks happy in their company. They hope so, at least. They hope he’ll be okay, that he gets to be happier. They want him to be happy.
“I’m so happy you’re out of there, I…” their voice breaks halfway, and they both chuckle at it, “I worried myself sick about where you were. I just want you to be okay.”
Isaac bites his lip in the smile, “I will be.”
“Good.” A thought hits Scott, though, “Your dad, he doesn’t know you’re back, right? If that fucker finds you-” “He’s dead.”
“Oh.”
Isaac nods, “Neighbours in Paris called my brother about four months ago. It feels morbid to say, but honestly… Camden bought champagne.”
“I would’ve done the same,” Scott says, with zero hesitation. The redhead’s peacefulness has an effect on them, like a warm embrace. However, when a customer in the queue yells at the barista, Isaac flinches, and they’re just about ready to take him by the hand and get out.
They’re still wondering about their friend’s feelings towards them, because… they’re soulmates. But people don’t always stay together. People don’t always get together.
Scott knows they’re just as much in love with Isaac as they were back then. It’s come back in full force, and the longer they look at the man, it just makes them want to wake up to the sight of him, every single morning. Listen to him rant about zombies for two hours straight and eat McDonalds at 3am and kiss in front of Stiles until he tells them to get a room.
Their best friend probably already knows about their feelings towards the red haired man. They never told him, but he’s scarily knowledgeable sometimes.
“Isaac,” they start, trying to figure out how to ask, Isaac still grazing their hand with his thumb, “About the tattoos. I’m in love with you. I hope that’s not too blunt, but… I’ve liked you since we met, I think. If you don’t feel the same, I understand-”
“I love you,” he states, immediately, and surely. He squeezes their hand again as both their smiles almost turn to grins, “Sorry. I could yell it at the top of my lungs, if you want. Soulmate.”
This might just be the best day of their fucking life.
“Want to get out of here, soulmate?”
*
In the little parlour at the corner, the gang’s all crowded up, even though the shop’s supposed to be closed. They closed two hours ago.
Yet, Scott’s friends have formed a small circle around the chair, where their soulmate’s taken his shirt off to allow them to tattoo his collarbone.  Masterpiece , the piece says, but it’s mirrored, so he’ll be able to read whenever he looks in the mirror.
Isaac’s facetiming his brother, too, who’s already given Scott the big brother talk; secretly, he loves them, the redhead told them so.
“You ready?” they ask him, planting a kiss on their soulmate’s hand, and he nods.
“Ready.”
“Tell me if you need a break, okay?”
“I will, baby,” he says with a chuckle, but Scott  needs to be sure.
“Seriously, whenever-”
“I know,” Isaac laughs, and kisses their cheek, which never fails to make them blush, despite the many, many kisses they’ve had until now. In all places. And more than kisses. Their soulmate is the most incredible person they know (sorry, Stiles), and they just want to keep learning, discovering everything about him.
He still talks in his sleep. He found a much better therapist than the first one, and he has fewer nightmares now. Sometimes he wants to talk about them, sometimes he just wants Scott to hold him. He likes to be the big spoon. He  hates the smell of coffee and eats excessive amounts of bacon. He likes to wake Scott by tracing their tattoos with his hands in the morning, and if that doesn’t work, he’ll steal the comforter and jump in the bed. He’s still such a nerd.
Every moment with him is unbelievably peaceful.
Their soulmate takes a deep breath, nods and so Scott gets started on the tattoo.
“Want me to hold your hand?” Stiles asks with a laugh, but they’re pretty sure the offer is genuine. Those two have been taking a liking to each other, after all, no matter how much they deny it.
“Absolutely not,” Isaac fires back, and the brunette gasps, making their soulmate smirk, “Lydia can hold it.”
She does, no matter how grumpy her soulmate looks. Malia’s nearly on the floor laughing.
This is safe. This is home. They’re all soulmates in a way, meant to be tied together, no matter where in the world they might be. And they’re so bloody happy to have him, and them, in their life.

I am the Alpha Now Part 11
Bakugo X Reader
Words: 3143
Masterlist
Reader is from America and somewhat of a delinquent with an alpha quirk that allows her to turn into a wolf as well as bond with dogs. She is sent to UA to straighten out her attitude. She ends up in a power struggle with none other than our favorite hot head. Words in Italics are words said telepathically.

*****************************************************************************************************
Today you wore the short skirt. You knew it would rile up Bakugo and now that you could feel his emotions... well let’s just say this was going to be a fun day. It was the last day of actual class before final examinations started next week. You were going to drive him crazy.
There was a knock at your door, and you could tell it was Bakugo. You skipped over and threw the door open but before you could even say anything Mercy barreled past you almost knocking you over in his pursuit for his new friend!
“HEY! Can we go for a run tonight! Y/n says she has to study!”
Bakugo scratched Mercy’s head. “If she’s cool with it, I don’t mind. Just be ready because I’m going to beat you this time.”
He was really starting to get the hang of the telepathic communication. At first it was cute, but now that they could talk to each other without you... well it kinda sucked sometimes. You hadn't realized how much you cherished your unique bond with Mercy until that bond was shared with someone else.
You cleared your throat. Bakugo reached out and took your hand all the while continuing his banter with Mercy. He hadn’t even looked at you. He did give your hand a squeeze when he could feel your mood souring. But even then, his attention was fully on Mercy.
You pulled on his arm, “Hey babe look at what-”
Bakugo turned and gave your forehead a kiss, “Hold on pup Mercy and I are practicing the sharing senses thing. Can you imagine me going from not being able to hear to hearing everything!” He let go of your hand as you trailed a little behind, third wheeling your own pack. This is bullshit. You’re supposed to be in charge here. You reached out and tugged on his backpack, causing him to almost trip.
“Seriously what is up your ass this morning pup? If you can’t be patient, then I just might have spank some sense into you...”
The thought of him bending you over his knee had you equally excited and pissed. On one hand you loved it when he took control, but on the other hand you weren't in the mood to take orders.
You could see Todoroki walking ahead of you with his headphones on. While reaching for something in his backpack, one of his notebooks slipped out. Poor guy was probably just trying to get to class unbothered but now you were about to drag him into your pity party. You let go of Bakugo’s hand and ran ahead to help Todoroki pick his stuff up. You leaned over and you could feel Bakugo’s emotions spike as he realized what you were wearing.
“How kind of you y/n, thank you.” Todorki looked over your shoulder to a fuming Bakugo. “I would ask if you wanted to walk to class with me... but it seems your boyfriend is on the verge of explosion.” He took a few steps in the direction of the main campus when he called over his shoulder, “I don’t think that skirt is dress code by the way... but I think you already knew that.”
“Pup... what the fuck are you wearing?” Bakugo was behind you now, taking off his jacket and attempting to tie it around your waist. His arms snaked around your hips, his mouth close to your ear.
You grabbed his arms and hugged him closer to you. “What do you mean? I’m wearing my uniform.” He started to growl as you swayed your hips just slightly, “Oh no, no, no. You don't get to be angry. I think it’s time you remember that you aren’t in charge here.”
“Are... you trying to make me angry? I don’t think you want to play this game. I always win.” His voice sounded even sexier through the bond. A chill went down your spine at his words. You almost wanted to behave for him... almost.
You scoffed as you pulled yourself away from him, “And what game is that Bakugo? Because from where I’m standing, I’m just trying to get to class like a good student. Finals are next week after all.”
Bakugo gripped the jacket he had tied around your waist and pulled it off. “I guess we should start studying then.” He started shouting random questions at you in Japanese through the bond. He was talking so fast you had absolutely no idea what he said. His hand came up and slapped your ass. “Every time I ask you a question, you must answer, in perfect Japanese. If you get it wrong you get a punishment, if you get it right, a reward.
You turned to face him and narrowed your eyes. The alpha in you refused to back down to a challenge and he knew that. Your eyes flashed blue briefly and his mirrored. “Okay I’ll play. But when I win... you better be ready to pay up.”
He gave you a smirk before kissing the tip of your nose. “I think today just got a lot more interesting.”
You could feel his excitement, his competitive nature coming out full force. There was no doubt in your mind he would do everything he could to trick you. You suddenly wished you had taken school more seriously. But there was no time to worry about that now, you had to be ready.
You took your seat once you got to class. The anticipation had you buzzing. He could ask you a question at any moment. Bakugo took his seat behind you and started talking to Kiri. He’s never one to be social? Is he trying to trick you into letting down your guard?
Class started and your fidgeted with your pencil, nearly snapping it in half with anxiety. You’re were trying to pay attention, you really were, but you couldn’t let him catch you slipping. Finally, when your nerved finally started to calm down he asked his first question. “What year did we see the first quirks start to develop?”
Shit… You didn’t know.
You reached for you backpack to grab your notebook. You knew you could find the answer there. Just as you were unzipping it his food stretched out and kicked it away from you. “No cheating… you won’t have your notes on a final…” Your fists clenched in anger, but you quickly reminded yourself you were in a classroom and needed to keep your composure. “Final answer in 3….2….1…. aw look at that times up.”
Your palms began to sweat. What would your punishment be? He wouldn’t go too far right? I mean he’s your boyfriend after all, and very protective at that. He wouldn’t make you do something too embarrassing…. Right? Shit this is Bakugo you’re talking about of course he would.
“For your first punishment. I want you to moan. Just loud enough for Kiri and Icy Hot to hear. I want them to know what they’re missing.”
Your eyes bulged. Seriously? You can’t say you didn’t expect this to take a sexual turn at some point… but so soon? Damn he’s not playing around today.
You turned around to look at his devilish red eyes. The amount of mischievous satisfaction you could see there almost made you laugh. He was having fun.
You looked to your right to see Kiri pretending to pay attention, while he actually doodled costume ideas. And then right in front of you was Todoroki actually paying attention and taking perfect notes. Bakugo said to moan… he never said you couldn’t be sneaky about it. You stretched your arms out, and yawned but at the very last second moaned.
Kirishima’s pencil snapped and his eyes looked back and forth between you and your dumbass boyfriend. You could feel Bakugo’s glee through the bond. He was enjoying this. “What the fuck are you looking at shitty hair?”
Kiri blushed bright red before just shaking his head and returning to his doodles with a now broken pencil.
You were impressed that Todoroki hadn’t reacted but then you noticed the ice that was now thawing from his desk. Part of you was almost proud that could provoke such a response. You could feel the lust coming from Bakugo and it honestly had your mind going numb. “Hey stop that!”
“Stop what? I’m not doing anything…?”
You took a deep breath in an attempt to calm yourself, “Yes you are you horn dog? It’s literally the only thing I can feel coming off from you and it’s starting to overwhelm me a little bit.”
“Oh….”
You turned to see his cheeks pink and him biting his lip in an attempt to keep himself from laughing. “OH? What do you mean oh?”
He started nudging your foot with his, “I mean… I’m pretty sure that’s coming from you? Don’t get me wrong. Listening to you moan is hot. I could listen to it all day… but you’re the one sending all the fuck me vibes right now.”
“Oh shut up. There’s no way that’s me!”
He just chuckled, “Whatever you say pup.”
You went through the rest of class without incident. Mercy asked to leave because the two of you were making him nauseous. You had no idea where he went but you could feel that he hadn’t gone too far. Bakugo asked you a few questions periodically, but he took it easy on you and didn’t really ask anything too hard, so you got them all right. You were on your way to lunch when he grabbed your hand and intertwined your fingers. “I fucking hate that skirt…”
You leaned into him, “I know.”
He shook his head as he led you to a table. He walked off to get your lunch as per usual, leaving you with a very confused Kiri sitting across from you. “Sometimes I think I know you guys, but then other days it’s like you’re from a different planet. What was that in class today? I know that wasn’t an accident y/n. No one freaking yawns like that. And Bakugo was wearing a shit eating grin the entire time.”
You just shrugged, “I don’t know what you’re talking about Kiri. If I made you uncomfortable though I apologize.”
Bakugo placed your tray of food in front of you and dropped a plastic bag filled with double chocolate cookies next to you. “Your reward pup. One cookie for every question. I kept track.” He kissed the top of your head and then took his seat next to you.
Kiri looked between the two of you and shook his head, “It’s like I don’t even know you anymore. I give up.”
You were stuffing your face with another cookie on the way to training when Bakugo pulled you to the side and asked another question, “Who was the first notable villain of Japan?”
Shit, shit, shit, you knew this! You went over this in class last week… “3…2…1…. Times up pup.”
“WAIT! No fair my mouth was full!”
He licked his lips, “Oh it’s about to be…” He pulled you into a nearby supply closet and locked the door. He took a seat on a step ladder and patted his knee. “Alright you know the drill. Three spanks”
You narrowed your eyes at him. Pissed off to have gotten another question wrong. “This is bullshit. I was eating something…”
You bent over his knee and pulled your skirt up. His hand came down with a hard slap, “You still could have answered through the bond. You have no excuse.” Another slap. “Shit y/n. Seriously? You’re flooding me with lust right now. I can’t even focus.” One last slap, and it had you moaning for real this time. His hand clamped down over you mouth. “Okay seriously. What is going on with you?”
Your mind was getting fuzzy and you could feel yourself getting lost in your own emotions. “Shit.” You pushed yourself off of Bakugo and pulled out your phone to pull out the calendar. No, no, no. Not now!
Bakugo could feel you panicking and was immediately behind you rubbing your back. He looked over your shoulder at the calendar app and froze. “Hey are you okay? You’re not like… late or anything right?”
You sighed, “No, no, nothing like that. It’s just a wolf thing. It’s stupid. I’ll explain it to you later. Right now we need to get to the gym before we get in trouble. We’re probably already late as it is.”
Based on the look he was giving you, he clearly didn’t believe you. But he nodded his head anyways and helped you up. Giving your forehead a quick kiss, “We can end the game here if it’s too much for you?” His look of concern had your heart fluttering.
“Nope, I said I was going to win, and I meant it. Now let’s go slow poke!”
Sparring with Bakugo had been torturous. You still were struggling to keep your emotions in check and it didn’t help having his sweaty body so close to you trying to pin you down. Your thoughts were inappropriate to say the least. Then he just had to start yelling questions at you through the bond. It was like he was trying to make you crack. You managed to get every single one right though. Which meant big rewards coming your way.
You were the last one in the locker room. Taking your time in the cold shower, trying to clear your head. You were about to start your heat. It was something you’ve had to deal with since you hit puberty. You don’t have periods like most girls. Nope. You went through heat like a dog once a year. You knew it was coming but for some reason you hadn’t thought to mention it to your clueless boyfriend. You usually keep it a secret from other people. It’s so embarrassing. It made you feel like a freak. You had learned how to deal with it when you were younger but for some reason it seemed so much more intense this year.
You were pulling your skirt back on when you heard a familiar voice clear his throat. “What’s going on with you today?”
You turned to see Bakugo leaning against a set of lockers. “I told you. I’m fine. It’s stupid…”
He stalked closer to you, “Wrong answer pup…And for your punishment…” His hands gripped the end of your skirt. “I think I’m just going to take this…” He ripped the skirt up the middle until it fell off your body. He threw the tattered remains in his backpack and handed you a pair of sweatpants.”
“Wh-what was that?” Your eyes were welling with frustrated tears. He was so close to you. You could smell him. You wanted him, you needed him and he’s just going to tease you like that? You were starting to spiral. Somewhere in the back of your mind you knew you were being ridiculous. That he didn’t know. That this was your traitorous hormones taking over.
Your legs began to shake and just as you fell, he caught you. “Ok seriously what the hell. You’re really starting to scare me. What’s going on?”
You clenched the front of his shirt, “I’m sorry! It’s just… It’s dumb… but uhm…” Your face began to turn a deep shade of red.
He tilted your head up to look you in the eyes, “Hey whatever it is just say it. Were bonded now y/n. I don’t know about you, but that feels kind of like a forever thing. So just let me help you with… whatever this is. It’s obviously bothering you.”
You took a deep breath, “I’m in heat.” All you got was a blank stare, so you cleared your throat and tried again, “Once a year I go into heat, which is basically my bodies way of saying it’s time to mate. And I have absolutely no control over it. I’ve learned of ways to help manage it but for some reason this year its’ so intense. My emotions are everywhere and magnified by ten. I can’t even tell what’s real anymore. I just need… I don’t know”
He scooped you up into his lap. “No tell me, what do you need?”
“YOU!”
You had never given Bakugo Alpha voice before. And you definitely didn’t mean to now. Your wolf instincts were taking over.  It definitely didn’t have the same effect on him that it did on Mercy. But you could still feel the chills it gave him.
Before you knew it he was pulling down his zipper and setting you up in a position with you straddling him. “At your own pace pup. Whatever you need okay? If this is what you need to feel better then let’s do it.”
You looked him in the eyes, “Are you sure? I mean once I start it could take days before I’m done…”
He cupped your cheek and scoffed, “Y/n… you realize that sounds like an absolute fucking dream to me, right? Having sex with my amazing, beautiful, fucking bad ass girlfriend… FOR DAYS. Hell yeah! We have all weekend.
You felt another wave of lust start to wreak havoc on your body. You could tell Bakugo felt it too and it was then that you understood. “It’s the bond. I’ve only ever handled it on my own before. Now every time my emotions spike, you feel it too. It’s like it magnifies it and makes it so much stronger.
Bakugo was hard beneath you now as he called out to Mercy, “Hey man I don’t know where you are, but if you get a chance come guard the girl’s locker room door please.”
Mercy was quick to reply, “You guys are disgusting… I’m on my way.”
You made quick work riding yourself of your underwear as you sank down on top of him. Your eyes flashed bright and total and complete bliss took over you. Every cell in your body was singing. This was where you belonged. You were a puzzle that had missing pieces until this very second.
You looked up to see a single tear falling down Bakugo’s cheek, “It’s so beautiful. The way you feel… it’s like you’re completely in sync with me. It’s amazing.”
What had started as a desperate and lustful action was slowly turning into something more… passionate. You leaned in and pressed your forehead to his as you started to grind yourself into him. His hands found your hips and together you found a rhythm that was so good you finally knew why people called it making love. This was love, this was art, this was your forever. This time next week you’ll be graduated, and you know there’s no way you’re going back home without him.

Thanks for reading!
“Howdy there, pilot. Have you thought of a name for her yet?” Taylor asked as she stepped into the cockpit, squinting as she adjusted to the bright light that shone through the large windows as they soared over the Caribbean.
“You comin’ in here to annoy me is just part and parcel of my La Huerta jobs now, ain’t it?”
“Oh, Top Gun, so sentimental,” she teased-- but really, like she could talk.
Jake rested his hands behind his head and looked out over a familiar green spot in the blue expanse, now fast approaching. “Well, she’s no ‘Delilah’, that’s for sure. If something comes to me, it comes to me. But like I say, it ain’t the same. It’s not as if you people are about to let me hide from the world with this baby as my only friend.”
“Damn straight.”
“Thought as much. Well, everything’s reading as normal; think we might make it, sans freaky storms this time.” Jake turned to his visitor with a smirk. “I’m still gonna want you to get your ass in a seat. A landing’s a landing.”
Safely in her seat-- Estela by her side, and little Fenix in a pet carrier tucked against the seat in the next aisle-- Taylor felt her stomach doing violent flip-flops as the green spot in the ocean came closer, beginning to take on detail. Rivers she’d bathed in snaking out to the sea, Atropo looming, and the now-abandoned Celestial-- still standing by all appearances unchanged-- in its shadow.
Estela was calm and quiet, contemplative as the small plane descended. So much about this journey was familiar, and yet, everything had changed. This time, marching towards her destiny wasn’t a lonely trail to a foregone violent conclusion; this time, the future was all a big unknown other than the fact that it would be anything but lonely. She wove her fingers with Taylor’s, feeling nerves flowing through, and gently squeezed.
“Almost there, querida.”
With a gentle bump, the plane was on the ground, and Taylor gave a small sigh of relief. She didn’t want to be rude about Jake’s flying ability, but until that point, she’d finished every ride with him in either a crash, a near crash… or plummeting into the sea. That she was something of a nervous flyer was, she thought, pretty damn reasonable.
In no time at all, the cabin door had been swung open, and the warm Caribbean air welcomed the small group home.
“And here I was worried I’d need to replace another plane. It seems the pilot can fly one of these things after all; that’s a fiver I owe you, Grace.”
“He of little faith,” Grace laughed, though it was quite clear she was at least somewhat giddy with relief. “Jake knows what he’s doing.”
No sooner had Taylor set her feet on La Huerta soil than a familiar figure was running towards her, streaking out of the cover of the foliage at the side of the runway.
“Diego! Ohmygod!”
Diego flung his arms around his friend and held her tight. Last he’d seen her, she’d only just clawed herself back from death’s door; Taylor was going to get hugged, and she was going to get hugged hard.
Estela set out into the humid air, immediately aware of the sounds of the jungle; insects and birds, rustling of leaves. Even the smell of the soil was distinctly La Huerta. She hadn’t expected to feel like this, but… she was home.
_____________________________
An almost comically deep miaow made Estela jump. Engrossed in what she’d been writing-- and the frustrated doodles she’d been swirling on a separate piece of paper-- she hadn’t noticed Taylor’s cat, Madam, joining her on the wooden bench outside their home.
“I must be making myself crazy, hey Mierdita? I guess you’re here to make sure my senses stay sharp… or you’ve come to complain to me about Nixie.”
“Mow.”
Estela giggled and scooped the little cat, presently bright orange in colour, though that was subject to change, and hugged her to her chest. It was nice to have the company. Taylor was down on the beach, catching up with Diego for the first time in far too long. And what Estela was doing… for the most part, she needed to be left in her own space to do it. The little cat might have been a distraction, but from the number of doodles Estela had scribbled, it looked as though her productivity had already peaked for the time being.
“You’ll just have to learn to forgive Taylor. You know she likes to surround herself with lots of friends.”
Madam nimbly climbed her way up onto Estela’s shoulder, and enthusiastically rubbed against her face.
“I’m glad I can make you feel better. I guess I wasn’t getting anywhere with writing this anyway….”
With a little sigh, she tucked the unfinished letter in her hoodie. She’d written so many letters to her mother-- one for every week she’d been working here on the island-- but to find the words to say goodbye, to get some kind of closure, did not come easy. Maybe with a little more time to think….
“Hello?”
Estela looked up to see Varyyn outside the front of the house. “Haalta, Varyyn. I’m round the side.”
With a low growl, Madam ducked down into Estela’s hood and pressed herself against her neck. She eyed their visitor with great suspicion from her perch.
“It looks like your little friend is happy to have you back,” Varyyn said as he approached, “--and less pleased to see me.”
“Don’t worry; she has a lot to say, but it’s all talk. She won’t bite.”
Varyyn, rather daringly in Estela’s view-- though he did regularly hang around with a hulking smilodon, so maybe he was just good with cats-- reached and tickled Madam under her chin.
“I have been wanting to find you,” he said. “Diego had told me you were preparing a memorial for your mother.”
‘’S a long time coming,” Estela grunted. “And maybe it’ll be a long time still; I don’t want to do anything extravagant, but it’s got to be right.”
“That is fair. I hope I am not disturbing you.”
“No, no. I don’t mind,” she said, gentler. “So long as it’s in progress. Finally. I couldn’t exactly get any kind of closure until I’d dealt with Rourke, and then… I needed to go home. I dunno… maybe it was easier to feel it as anger, because the sadness was too much to bear if I let it take its place. When I let myself really feel it….” A tear rolled down her face, and she brushed it away. “I don’t know if I can say I’m at peace with it all… I don’t think I ever really can be. But I’m better. I brought over the letters Mom sent me when she was here on the island, to bury. And I then thought of writing again… to say goodbye. All I’ve gotta do now is find the words. Anyway,” she finished hurriedly, “you wanted me for something?”
Varyyn nodded sagely. It wasn’t lost on him the intimacy of what was being shared. Perhaps the violent death of his own mother had given Estela a sense of tragic kinship with him?
“Seraxa and I talked at great length. It had… troubled me that there had been no acknowledgement of your mother’s sacrifice. She must have felt very alone standing against the Hydra, but we will not see that bravery forgotten now.”
He reached into his satchel, and brought out a neatly folded set of clothes.
“To wear the traditional uniform of our warriors is the greatest of honours. We wish to pay tribute to your mother as a hero to the Vaanti, if you will accept this gift.”
Estela’s eyes grew wide, and her bottom lip wobbled. “I--- um, thank you.” That’s the best you can manage? “I… don’t know what to say. Thank you.” In Varyyn’s nod of understanding, the look in his eyes, it was plain to see he felt the depth of her gratitude.
A gentle smile came to Varyyn’s face, as though he was relieved. “It is your choice whether you would like to wear this in her honour, or simply keep it as part of your memorial.”
Her cheeks flushed, Estela hugged the folded uniform to her chest. There were just… no words to adequately say what the gesture meant. For Estela’s own protection, any trace of Olivia Montoya’s connection to Everett Rourke had been wiped from record; and with it, all evidence of the courageous last stand taken. But here she was remembered.
“I don’t think I’ve told you…,” Estela choked out after a little while. “I mean, it’s not as if I’m the best conversationalist… I don’t know what to say to people half the time.” She shook her head. “But, anyway, I always found you impressive. When your mother died… it was sudden, and brutal, and somehow you had the strength to honour her by taking up her mantle. Immediately. And you always seemed so together, however much you were crumbling on the inside. You had to be.”
“I had good friends to lean on. And I had Diego.” Varyyn chucked darkly. “It is terrible, but when you all came back through the gate, as much I was very sad for you all, and for Diego, that everything you knew and loved was gone… there was a very selfish part of me….” He stalled.
“Fair enough,” Estela said, not about to force him to finish a clearly uncomfortable sentence. “It had only been a couple of days. How’s anyone supposed to bear that much loss? While carrying the expectations and fears of your people? Diego gave you comfort when you needed it most. And… then you gave him the same.”
“Yes.”
Having that shoulder; it made all the difference. It made living through the worst of horrors bearable, and then, somehow… it made the act of living on, in hope, possible. Varyyn had Diego. She, Estela, had her Taylor. And they all had one another.
“We’re lucky we found the right people.”
___________________________
As she slogged through the soft white sand, Taylor wasn’t sure what was going to give out first, her legs or her lungs. Using her best friend’s hand as an anchor, she kept on putting one foot in front of the other.
“Hey, Taylor, you know, it might be easier to have a real conversation if we sat down for a bit.”
Diego was polite and tactful, but what he meant was clearly; ‘You are an absolute wreck; sit down before you put yourself in an early grave’.
Taking the hint, Taylor flopped down heavily, squinting against the bright sun as she tried to get herself comfortable. While she struggled to get her breath back, Diego sat himself down close by, patiently letting her recover.
“I swear the beaches in San Trobida aren’t so much of a work-out,” Taylor said apologetically. “Not as soft. I have actually gotten a lot fitter, if you can believe it.”
Diego put a hand on her shoulder. “I can actually. You did a pretty good job of covering up how much you were struggling those last few days you were here, but I really don’t think you were fooling anyone. You do look better. Last time I saw you, it was hard not to get the impression that one stiff wind could have you over.”
Taylor snorted with laughter. “Damn, and I thought I put up a good front.”
“Not remotely. You are incredible, my friend, but a talented actor you are not.”
This was wonderful. The warmth of the sun of her body, and the easiest of company. Taylor reclined back, her arms propping her up in the sand from behind.
“Well, now that I’m not having to focus on not falling over… how’ve you really been?”
Diego stared wistfully out to sea, all the while playing with a little lock of his hair that Varyyn had braided for him. “’How have I really been’ as in not the brush-off, ‘oh, I’m good’ answer?”
“Yep. And I promise I’ll keep my own bullshit in check as fair trade.”
“Okay. If that’s how we’re doing this.” Diego fiddled with his hair for a little while longer as he contemplated his answer… and where to start. “I’m good.” As Taylor rolled her eyes, he added quickly; “ I am good.”
“Yeah?”
“Going back home was the best thing I could have done; it made me realise just how much I actually belong here. I’ve found my people. And Varyyn. I don’t have to tell you how cut up I was to be away from him; you could see it. Heck, even Grandma Bhandarkar saw it-- I have never been force-fed so much in my life, and I grew up with my abuela!”
Taylor chuckled. She was eternally grateful that the extended Catalyst family had been there for Diego when she couldn’t be, through one of the most pivotal periods in his life. “Did you… did you manage to talk to your parents at all?” she ventured gently.
With a sad smile, Diego shook his head. “I called from Raj’s place. I did speak to my dad, and honestly it was better than I expected. But he said Mom’s not ready.”
“Oh, Diego….”
“No, I knew she wouldn’t be ready.” He gave a little sigh. “That big, scary conversation’s done now, though, and I feel kind of… lighter. Like… I can start to accept how things are. If Mom and Dad were ever going to accept who I am, you’d think the year and a half I’d disappeared off the face of the earth would have done the trick.”
Taylor put an arm around Diego as he sniffed. “You know it’s all them, yeah? None of this is on you.”
“Yeah… I know. I came back here and… Varyyn just looked at me like I was the most beautiful person in the world. I could not have felt more loved. So, yeah-- I’m good.”
“So,” Taylor said gently, “what happens next? Do you still want to come back to Hartfeld with us in September?”
Diego huffed out a long exhale. Now, that was a question.
“The only really honest answer I can give you is… I don’t know. Could not be more conflicted.”
“That’s… that’s fair.”
“I keep thinking about that vision we saw when I took my action figures from Vaanu.  I didn’t think it was possible for me to be that comfortable in my own skin, but it wasn’t like I was just seeing it-- I could feel it.”
“Yeah. It was kind of, just… radiating off you. You were just one-hundred percent genuine Diego, no holes barred… and everyone just loved you for it.”
“Look, I know that whole thing was just Vaanu trying to manipulate you into sacrificing youself--”
“Diego--”
“No, it’s okay. Because even if that’s all it was, it doesn’t matter. The more time I’m here with Varyyn… and people are respecting me as me-- you should see the queues of kids that form when I re-tell the original Star Wars trilogy….”
Taylor chuckled fondly.
“...The more I realise that, actually, that could be me. If I wanted it.”
“That really could be you. Without a shadow of a doubt. It would just mean…”
“Leaving Varyyn? Shattering both our hearts into a million pieces? Yeah, that’s the sticking point.”
Putting her head on Diego’s shoulder, Taylor offered what support she could. “What… what does he think?”
“He really loves me, so he’s unhelpfully understanding about the whole thing. It would be so much easier to know what I should do if he’d just say he’d rather I stay here!”
“So inconsiderate.”
“But, well, he said how much I light up when I talk about what I saw in that vision. And he lights up when he talks about that,” Diego said with a resigned laugh. “He says if I stay here, I shouldn’t be giving up every part of me.”
“He’s right,” Taylor said. “It’s you he fell in love with, and it’s you the hordes of Vaanti children seek out whenever they need smiles put on their faces. One way or another, I think you should always feed the real you. ‘Cause that guy’s pretty great.”
Diego glanced away, bashful, but unable to hide his smile. Again, he started playing with his hair.
“Okay, okay, that’s enough, Taylor. How about it’s your turn. Do you have a plan? I guess Vaanu didn’t bother showing you what a future on Earth could look like, hey?”
Taylor gave a soft humph. “No, they certainly did not. That’s something I’m just going to have to figure out myself.” She frowned. “They just showed me enough to put the pressure of ensuring the happiness of everyone I love on my shoulders,” she said bitterly.
Catching her tone, Diego raised an eyebrow. “That’s really getting to you.”
“Yeah,” she heaved. For a moment, she considered what she wanted to share. “Look, I haven’t exactly talked about this before…. All those visions I saw, just about all of them showed you guys rocking your dream careers. Except for, well….” She trailed off, sadly.
“Except for Estela and Aleister, right? Now you mention it, that does kinda say a lot about the impact Rourke had.”
“Exactly. It makes me so… so angry,” she said, than added with a dry laugh, “I don’t have the energy to be angry. Seeing you all die in my dreams doesn’t help either; all I can think is that he did all that. ”
“So, you’ve put it out there now. Maybe that’ll help you move past it?”
“I sure hope so. Letting that fester isn’t going to be healthy for me, and it sure as hell won’t do Estela any favours. She’s been amazing. There’s been so much she’s had to move through. I think I’ve been so focused on her that it only just recently sank in how much I’m simmering in hate for that bastard. And I don’t want to let it out and feed into her own feelings. Does… that make sense?”
“That sounds pretty natural,” Diego assured. “Being protective of your family is pretty much wired into you; kinda makes sense that it would get you all fired up-- and that you want to shield Estela from even more hurt and anger. I’m here, you know. If ever you need a best friend to off-load on; I’m your man.”
“Thanks,” Taylor said softly, and boy, did she mean it. A little smile came to her face at the sound of Furball yipping as he chased a euphoric Fenix up and down the shoreline. Bad feelings passed quickly, for there was just too much beauty in the world she had fought for and won.  “All things considered, I’m doing really well. Since I ramped up the self-care, I’m getting less nightmares-- I know they’re not proper nightmares, it’s just my brain replaying memories that aren’t even all mine. But they’ve gotten better.”
Diego shook his head, incredulous. “Honestly, I don’t know how you managed to sleep with that going on at all.”
“With great difficulty is how,” Taylor laughed. “Poor Estela is now pretty used to me waking her up, screaming and crying.” She smiled softly. “I don’t know what I’d do without her; she has this magic way of just… chasing away all the horrors. I guess it’s because I feel safe when she’s holding me.”
“N’aww!” Diego’s eye twinkled. “I really am the best wingman around. I’ll happily accept tips for match-making services given.”
Taylor snorted. “I feel like we can take some of the credit, but fine, thanks for the help. I’ve seen hundreds of different versions of me and Estela falling in love… and it’s surprising how many times it was you who gave me the push.”
“So, you really do owe me one.”
“I really do.”
Fenix ran over, panting heavily, and flopped down into Taylor’s lap. A little way behind, Furball trotted after.
“Hey, Diego?”
“You’re missing your buff wife?”
“That, and I’m absolutely starving. You wanna head back to Catalyst Village?”
Diego looked out at the darkening sky. This day had flown. No doubt, the days to come would fly too, and in no time at all he’d be faced with leaving Varyyn… again. Then his stomach growled loudly.
“Apparently, you’re not the only one. Come on-- d’you need a piggy-back?”
Indignant, Taylor plopped Fenix down in the sand and got to her feet. “I certainly do not.”
“Okay… reframing that. Would you like a piggy-back?”
Ooh, that smirk. “Oh, all right,” she relented. “In the time it would’ve taken me to walk back, I’d have already died of hunger.”
So, they made their way back up the beach; Diego giving a more-weary-than-she’d-care-to-let-on Taylor… and their two furry companions leading the charge, drawn home by the scent on the wind of food being cooked over an open fire.
___________________________
“A toast!” Aleister pronounced loudly, holding aloft a glass of Breath of the Moon. As his friends and family around the fire raised their matching cocktails, he thrust his own glass ever-higher with slightly-tipsy gusto. “To new beginnings! To reuniting with comrades! To bringing about justice!”
Estela leaned over and whispered in Taylor’s ear. “You see why I thought you should only take a little sip of this stuff?”
Taylor sniggered. “I’d make a toast to the fact that we have a whole house to ourselves again. It’s gonna be a lot easier to get our sex on when your brother and sister-in-law aren’t in the next room.”
Giving her wife an exaggerated wink, Estela huddled closer, delighting in the giggle she stirred. Somehow, everything felt easier here. It was is if just to be in this place brought her back to the best of herself, to the sense of peace within herself that had once felt like an impossibility. Now, with Taylor, in their home and surrounded by people they loved, it was an inevitability. This time would refresh her-- it would them both-- and ready them for the greater steps that lay ahead.
It seemed the feeling was catching, for everyone was relaxed and laughing as they cooked skewers over the crackling fire and sipped their cocktails. In the firelight, Varyyn’s face seemed to glow with affection for his beloved husband beside him-- who himself was bubbling over with the simple pleasure of being surrounded by friends. Estela wondered about the two of them… what the future might hold. A year could go by so quickly-- she learned that the had way when she’d been counting down to Taylor’s self-sacrifice-- but away from the one you loved, time would stretch agonisingly. She did not envy the choice Diego was faced with; that they were now with him to offer support though that… that mattered.
Opposite them, Jake was back to ribbing Aleister, something even more fun now that the target was a little sozzled. No amount of back-and-forth teasing could hide the genuine --rather unlikely-- friendship that had formed; Aleister, blessed with both wealth and contacts in high places, had made himself a pivotal force in the fight to clear Jake’s name. The more Estela had gotten to know her unexpected sibling, the more it became obvious to her that at his heart, Aleister was driven by the same protectiveness of those dear to him that powered her. It was something, she’d come to realise, that Rourke had cemented into them both-- not through any passing of genes, but by fierce resistance to the poison he’d inflicted. It had taken time… and it had been painful, but in their budding kinship, Estela had found undeniable comfort.
Taylor took Estela’s hand, and laid a weary head on her shoulder.
“Hey.”
“Hey, you,” Estela laughed softly. She could feel the smile on Taylor’s face; so open and radiant, full of tenderness for the people surrounding her, and it spoke wonders.
With her free hand, Taylor gently chinked her glass to Estela’s.
“Cheers. To being home.”
“To being home.”

Master list
Kyotani x f!y/n
A/n: reader is on the softball team, she’s an outfielder and also an amazing pitcher. She’s is the same year as Kyotani. I’m gonna make a part two.
“Oof” you say as you fall to the ground, your papers going everywhere. The boy who accidentally ran into you in the middle of the hallway grunted out a “sorry” and scowled, like he was annoyed with you, before bending down helping you pick up your papers that happened to be your research project for your next class. You kept looking at him the whole time, he was a handsome boy with stripes in his hair and he looks angry as hell.
You’ve never seen him this close up before, you just saw him on the volleyball court from the stands. You always kept your eye on him when you went to games and in the one class you shared. He was a conundrum to you. Someone you couldnt figure out but desperately wanted to, and with a nickname like mad dog it made you wary to just approach him. you quietly thanked the gods, the universe, anyone listening to your thoughts, for this blessing of having you him into you.
“What?” He says and glares at you when he catches you staring, it makes you smile because of how amused you were with him. You both stand and he hands you your papers “you’re a lot less scary up close... and a lot cuter” you say with a chuckle. His eyebrows furrow as the bell rings “see ya around handsome!” You say with a wave over your shoulder as you rush off to your next class.
He stood there, a little shocked, watching you rush off. He didn’t know what it was about you but he knew you were different. You didn’t cower or get afraid of him. In fact he thinks you actually thought he was amusing. And you called him handsome. He thought you were either crazy or perfect. He needed to talk to you again.
The next day in your first class, the one you shared, he came in early and stole the seat of the girl who usually sits next to you. When you walked in and saw him you paused for a second then when he looked up you gave him a smile and a wave as you walked over to him. You knew the girl wouldn’t mind and you sure as hell don’t.
“Hey handsome” you say as you take your bag off your shoulders and sit next to him, turning in your seat to look at him better. “Hey” he says with his usual scowl. “What made you switch seats?” You ask nonchalantly as you get out your notebook and pen. “You” he says and you get butterflies “me huh? I feel awfully special to make the resident so called mad-dog wanna sit next to me” you look into his eyes and wink. His scowl falters for a second and you notice him blush ever so slightly. It brings you so much joy to know you affect him, it gives you a sense of power that excited you. “Why aren’t you afraid of me?” He says as he leans towards you “should I be?” You reach out and softly run your fingers through his hair on his stripes. It sends goosebumps and tinges down his spine. “I guess not. But everyone else usually is. I am mad-dog.” He doesn’t move or stop you so you continue to play with his hair.
You notice out of the corner of your eye your friend walk in and when she notices her seat is taken she just laughs when she sees who it is. She knows about your crush. She nods and sits where Kyotani usually does.
“You are Kentaro Kyotani. You are an amazing volleyball player....” you lean in to whisper in his ear “and you are so many other things besides a mad-dog. I can tell you everything I like about you later” The teacher walks in then and you sit straight in your seat, like everything was normal, and get ready to take notes.
After fifteen minutes of lecture the teacher starts a movie pertaining to cell division, something you already understood, so you indulged yourself in looking at the boy next to you. He wasn’t paying attention to the movie he was just doodling in his notebook. You quietly reached over and when he saw your hand he looked up at you and studied your face, your smile and your cute nose, your beautiful eyes, when he looked back to what you were doing he noticed at the top of his page you drew a heart and wrote your phone number down. That small heart on the page made his heart beat wildly. The class ended and you had to rush off to your next class so he didn’t get to talk to you as much as he wanted.
After school ends and your softball practice ends you get your stuff together and head back to the locker rooms when you overhear a couple girls talking “did you hear that mad dog stormed out of practice again? He’s so scary” you were immediately worried. Throwing your backpack over your shoulders you took off running, your softball shoes clacking against the tiled halls. When you find him he’s at his locker with his head against it and he’s radiating anger and frustration.
“Hey handsome” you say softly “what’s wrong?” You put your hand on his shoulder and he whips around to look at you. He looks so mad and scary but his eyes look like he could cry at any moment.
You took his hand and pulled him with you, he followed without hesitation. Out to the empty softball field, then to the few trees beyond the field. It was your secret spot you’d go to calm down after hard days.
“Kyo?” You said softly when you got there. You slipped your bag off letting it fall to the ground and took both of his hands in yours. They were tough and calloused and you couldn’t help but imagining what they’d feel like on your body for a split second before forcing those thoughts away. He looks into your eyes and you see his are filled with unshed tears, although the rest of his expression looks angry you can tell it’s something different.
“It’s just... I’m so...” he takes a deep breath and you reach up and cup his cheek softly before hugging him to you. He melts into you and pulls you to him tight, burying his face in your neck. You can feel his body shake softly as he cries quietly, his hot tears on your shoulder. You rub circles across his back and start to spell out words, you spell out his name, then yours, then you rub hearts instead of circles. When he calms down he places a soft kiss to your shoulder, on the shirt that is wet with tears. He pulls back and you wipe away the tears still on his face softly, smiling reassuringly up at him. “Hey handsome” you say softly and he chuckles, a sweet sound that was extremely rare, a sound you fell in love with, “hey” he says back, his face neutral instead of his normal scowl, his eyes told you he was a little embarrassed. “Are you okay?” You ask and he nods “I just get so frustrated and I don’t know how to handle it sometimes. You have no idea how much this meant to me” he says softly and looks down at your hands in his. You bring his hands to your lips and kiss his knuckles softly “it’s okay to feel frustrated. if you ever need me I’ll be there. Always.” He could cry again, his heart aches, no ones ever been there for him always. people always leave. But he doesn’t want you to. He wants you to be telling the truth. He can’t help but trust in you “promise?” He says and his voice cracks and you pull him into another hug, this time burying your face in his neck “I promise” you whisper and kiss his neck.
You hold hands walking back to the school “do you wanna get some dinner with me?” He asks. Back to his normal scowling angry self and you laugh “yea I really do” you squeeze his hand.
When you get to the girls locker room he quickly pulls you to him “thank you, y/n” he whispers and his lips press into yours softly before he leaves you there, going to change himself. You’re breathless and blushing as you change into your normal clothes. Excited to go to dinner with him tonight.

You watched Taehyung closing his suitcase with a heavy heart.
He got ready all day to depart and join his family for Christmas holidays. You tried not to look so down.
You totally understood them wanting to spend some time with their own but you couldn’t shake the sad feeling overwhelming you when you knew you wouldn’t get that chance.
Taehyung offered to take you back to the headquarters on his way to the airport but Jungkook had interjected quite abruptly saying he would take care of it.
The time to leave came and Taehyung hugged you, making sure to let you know he would miss you and that he couldn’t wait to see you again.
You could sense his deep bonding with his family. It meant a lot to him and he was excited at the thought of seeing them again.
He kissed you softly and gently, calming a little the bittersweet feeling that had settled in your heart. The goodbyes between him and Jungkook were quicker and less warm.
“What are you doing?” Inquired Jungkook after he spotted you dragging something in his room.
“ge’ ready.” You smiled with a small pout as you dragged your blankie inside your bag.
“So you’re going back?”
You looked down and shrugged.
Spending Christmas anywhere else than at the headquarters would sound fun, not that you would be short of anything there but the boys’ company felt way better in comparison.
“What if I told you you don’t have to ?” He grinned after lying down on his bed.
You furrowed your brows, intrigued.
“no goin’ back ?” You repeated, bringing a finger to your lips.
“Hm-hm, I’ll be staying here.” Jungkook moved to rest his ching on his hands. “Y’wanna spend your holidays with me?”
You started to nod, still unsure whether he was serious about it or not.
“Yeah, baby? I’m not messin’ with you… I’m really staying.”
You were delighted, totally looking forward to the next days as you threw yourself on him and hugged his neck as tightly as you could.
Jungkook laughed, relieved. He didn’t feel bad anymore about not visiting his family. He would think of sending them a few messages and videos still.
“Whew… For a second, I was afraid you would reject me.”
**************************************************************
You discovered Jungkook had a lot planned for the two of you, as if he had organized those holidays a long while ago and was impatiently waiting to get to do it all with you.
When he shared his schedule, you couldn’t tell which one of you was the most excited.
Among all the places he had in mind, there was one in particular which earned your interest — the two day journey at Disneyland.
It was settled to happen the second week so you had to suck your excitement to yourself and you did well, although the thought only was able to put a big smile on your face.
The day finally came and you couldn’t keep your feelings to yourself and Jungkook was overjoyed seeing you like this.
He felt satisfied he was able to get you interested in all the different activities he suggested to you. He couldn’t believe you hadn’t been to Disneyland yet but felt enthralled at the thought of being the one making you discover it.
Once there, he never let you out of his sight. You didn’t make it difficult for him either by being glued to his side. Everything there impressed you, from the number of people present to the different animations offered there.
Your gloved hand didn’t let go of his, not even when you wanted to take pictures with the people wearing stunning disguises—
Jungkook motioned you so would stand beside Mickey but you whined and went to hold his other hand, overwhelmed by the cartoon character standing too closely.
He chuckled at you while you kept staring curiously at the famous character from the corner of your eye.
He circled your shoulder and pecked your temple. “Smile to the camera, babygirl.”
He then went on to buy yourselves two headbands and a cute yet prohibitively expensive necklace. He encouraged you to ride as many attractions as possible.
You made him feel warmer than he had ever been inside him and he couldn’t feel bad about that part thudding aloud within because of the fact that he had you to him alone.
He found you adorable in your ways of showing your amazement at your surroundings, wanting to make sure he knew just how much you were enjoying yourself and how much appreciative of him you felt, all bundled up in your winter clothing.
It didn’t prevent him from having naughty thoughts cross his mind every now and then and letting his hands roaming you although he tried his best to keep them to himself until you got back to your bedroom.
**************************************************************
Jungkook pushed the door open to let you in first. He helped you out of your thick jacket and as soon as you could move freely, you lunged over your new backpack filled with all the accessories he had bought you.
“_________, let’s shower first. Okay ?”
You pondered his suggestion but didn’t fuss and listened to him.
After you were done, he watched you, to his dismay, hoping to get back to your new acquisitions you hadn’t forgotten about and emptied your bag on the carpeted floor.
He followed closely after having barely dried his hair.
He did not bother to catch the towel around his hips slowly loosening and sliding down the bulging muscles of his thighs. His skin awakened at the feeling of the surrounding air, showing paths of goosebumps along his taut stomach and arms.
He pondered the thought of remaining naked and eventually decided to slip a pair of black boxers on and undid the sheets.
“Bring all of it here... Much better this way.”
You listened to him quietly and quickly moved all your things on the clean beddings.
Jungkook caught one of the Polaroids and gazed at it lovingly, then took another one.
“They’d look good in your notebook, don’t you think?”
“he’e?” You asked, opening the brand new little mermaid themed book in the middle and looking up at him with a small frown.
His eyes looked heavy and stared up lovingly at the pretty pinkish glow flaming your face across your cheekbones and nose.
His hand wrapped gently around your thin wrist, “hmhm.”
“but, no glue?” You frowned deepened at the small pictures sliding down.
“Let’s see, we can use these for now.” He offered as he grabbed the stickers included with the book. “Like this, see?”
“oh,” you stared at his hands carefully sticking the Polaroids next to each other.
He smiled, “voilà.”
You went to lie on your front and picked one of the feltpen to add little doodles around the pictures.
Jungkook let his hand slide along your calf and beneath the hem of the bathrobe, gently kneading your smooth skin.
“________? Come lie next to me.”
You paid no mind to him.
“Baby…”
You eventually sat up when you felt proud of your drawings and turned around.
You gasped at the sight of Jungkook snuggling a pillow and snatched it from him to throw it across the room.
A lazy smirk parted his lips as you slowly curled up against him. He felt tingles spreading in his chest and downwards when your scent reached him as you rested your head beneath his chin.
“t’ank you.”
“You’re welcome, baby. It’s your Christmas gift from me.”
“but ______ no gift.”
“It’s okay. You’re my gift.”
**************************************************************
You stirred lightly, waking up little by little.
You made out Jungkook’s voice somewhat still distant and overpowered by the buzzing in your head.
You furrowed your brows and shifted.
“Careful baby,” he whispered and gently blocked you with his arm solidly rooted in the mattress to prevent you from tumbling down the edge of the bed where you were half lying on.
You turned your body the other way around and knuckled your eyes, still a bit tired.
He gazed down, cooing at you and softly nuzzled your cheek. “Are you up now?”
You slowly opened your eyes, blinking repeatedly despite the subdued light of his bedroom and a little dazed from your nap which had him smiling tenderly at you.
He kissed your cheek, hot and marked with sleep lines. “You had a good rest?”
You blinked up at him silently.
“Wanna drink?” He let you nuzzle against him and effortlessly sat up with your legs wrapped around his hips. “Up we go.”
He held you until he reached the kitchen and put you down on the counter.
You whined when he moved away from you and had him holding you some more, earning sexy chuckles from him.
Jungkook gently swung you side to side, craning his head down to peek at you staring into space. He relished moments like this, when you simply did not need anything else but to feel him while he cradled you affectionately.
Nothing, no one else made him feel protective over you as he could get during moments like these when he held your vulnerable self safely in his strong arms and felt your breathing fanning him softly.
He followed your gaze when you suddenly jerked a little away and turned your head to gaze ahead of you.
You whimpered when you looked over his shoulder while he kissed your temple.
He walked away to get your sippy cup filled with your favorite fruit juice while you sat up and stretched your spine to make out the strange thing you had noticed in the living-room.
“What’s wrong?”
You pointed behind him and he looked back.
“Oh, my surprise?”
“hm?”
“Wanna see it?”
You nodded and grabbed the cup from him and held your arms open so he could carry you again.
“Here.”
You climbed down and stared a long time at the new appearance of the living-room.
Bedsheets, blankets and comforters had been used with the help of chairs and couches to make a blanket fort.
The entrance was decorated with one of the Christmas tree garlands and opened on what appeared like a very cozy and intimate space surrounded with some cushions and your plushies.
You dropped down on your knees to get a better look.
“You like it?” He smiled down at you and you eagerly nodded, holding your cup with your two hands. “It’s just for the two of us… Go ahead… Crawl inside.”
You carefully did so and stopped midway to look back. He kneeled down to follow you and dropped heavily on one side of what served as the bed.
“I wanted to give it a name but I have no idea. I brought some of your colored pencils and books and other stuff.”
He pointed to a spot you hadn’t taken notice of behind you where several things were stacked along snacks.
“I made the roof high enough so we could still watch T.V if you want.”
You stretched your body out next to him to confirm his words and noticed along the way how wide the space of it still was with the two of you lying side by side.
He shifted to get more comfortable with a hand under his head while you chose to grab one of the sheets and pencil.
When you were finished, you held it up towards him and his eyes lit up at the words surrounded by hearts, flowers and a smiling sun — Knight Jungkook and Princess ________ ‘s castle
“Is it the name you want to give to it?”
You nodded with the soft spout of your cup hanging between your front teeth.
Jungkook took the piece of paper from you and sat up to get beneath the garland.
“I have nothing to stick it up with,” he pouted as he looked around.
He decided to lean it against the foot of the chair holding one part of the entrance up. “Now, it’s perfect.”
He lied back down and you crawled out to look at the rendering.
Naturally, he did not miss the way his shirt rode up to reveal your asscheeks curving enticingly beneath the lace of your panties.
He gave your bum three affectionate spankings before you sat back on your heels and looked at him over your shoulder with a smile.
“Like it?”
You nodded and handed him your empty cup to get rid of. He opened his arm for you to lie your head on and turned his body to face yours closely.
“What d’you want to do? Watch cartoons?” He trailed quietly.
Your fingers were playing with his chin. You shrugged and pulled him in a sudden embrace.
You weren’t feeling one bit tired and the whole atmosphere set with your new accommodation was making you feel kittenish.
You leaned back a bit to look up at him, gazing enthralled by his features, softened thanks to the warm hues emanating from the decorative lights. Your cold hand flattened against his chest he felt warming up beneath your touch.
His eyes smiled down at you. He moved his other hand to brush your hair to the side of your face, accentuating the roundness of your cheek.
He tilted his head to press his lips on your forehead and you did the same to his collarbones. Your fingers slid down to trace along the soft skin of his taut lower stomach.
His arm underneath you curled around your shoulder and his hand gripped it when you softly brushed the very subtle trail of hair connecting his navel to the hem of his sweatpants.
The impressive print of his soft dick was quite evident, even more so when you slowly nudged your thigh between his and pressed upward.
His hips bucked in response at the same time a sigh escaped him. You grinned a little.
You knew he wasn’t wearing anything beneath the cloth and you anticipated witnessing him swelling in front of your eyes.
A languid, steady rhythm took hold of your bodies.
You were now holding your weight on one arm, allowing him to get covered in the sweet scent of your hair cascading over his face. His breath was more labored now that he felt you scratching his back deliciously.
His hands held tight onto your waist and ass, blood growing his shaft larger and larger. The thickness of his pants did not allow you to feel his twitching but you were undeniably sure, his cock was now straining up.
A quick glance downward ruled in your favor when you noticed the glistening tip peeking past the hem.
You glided your nails up his spine until you reached his hair which you tugged at gently and clawed his back again to pull his pants down.
You felt yourself clenching at the sight of his taut asscheek, hollowing with each desperate push of his hips.
You pressed on his chest to get him to lie on his lightly bruised back and he helped you take off his sweats.
You threw them somewhere behind you and crawled on top to kiss him. His hands quickly cupped your face to deepen the sweet gesture, taking both of your breaths away.
When his grip loosened, you pecked and licked your way down his veiny neck, erect nipples heaving with each of his intake of air and continued until you reached the tiny puddle of precum wetting his skin where his thick head was resting, raging.
You kneeled up between his legs, smiling sweetly at him as you gently scratched your nails softly up and down his inner thighs.
Jungkook frowned down and made a move to grip himself but you stopped him. You pinched your lips as you planted his hands on either side of his body.
“Not allowed to touch?”
You shook your head with a cheeky smile.
“Can you at least take off my shirt?” He whined, throwing his head back. “Not really fair of you…”
You brought a finger to your mouth, in faux-pondering.
“okay.”
You pulled each of your arms inside his shirt and pulled it up to get your head out.
Your hair was sticking out in a funny way and Jungkook felt his heart swelling achingly at your endearing yet alluring sight.
His teeth dragged on his lower lip as he shamelessly coveted your figure and flexed his hard cock.
He didn’t look away when you eventually lowered your face nearby. You kissed along its veiny underside, down until you reached his heavy balls which parted a little in response to your touch.
“Princess, don’t tease… Please.”
You looked down after you leant up and watched closely while you ran the tips of your fingers back up his length.
He twitched again when you rubbed him where his head and his impressive shaft met.
He craned his head down, mouth hanging open “baby…”
You wiped the mini pool of precum and coated his head with. Jungkook relaxed his neck again when you finally closed your fist around him.
You bit your lip in amusement and shifted your weight on your hand to gaze down at his features progressively overcome by pleasure.
Moans began pouring out generously along the languorous motions of your thumb across his drenched tip.
Little by little, your fist pumped his throbbing cock and a fucked-out smile graced his angelic-like traits. He felt heavier and warmer in your palm and the lustful sight of him thrusting his oozing member at the pace of your hand turned you on all the more, ruining your underwear with your sticky juices.
“_______-”
Your eyes reluctantly teared away from his member to his face, now flaming with hot colors.
“I don’- I don’t wanna cum like this…” The veins in his neck were protruding invitingly. “Make me-... fuuck- make me cum inside you…”
Your thighs tightened and your clit throbbed.
Jungkook let out a content sigh when you indulged him easily.
He was close, painfully so.
So much so, he couldn’t wait any longer and in the matter of seconds you were free of your panties, although it was not the way you predicted it.
“Come, sweetheart…” He beckoned softly, throwing the remnants of the torn cloth next to him. “Climb on top of me. That’s it… Yeah, just like that…”
You let go of his cock and hovered your dripping cunt above it. He couldn’t help himself. His hand snaked between you to cup the sensitive skin there.
You closed your eyes in response when he began rubbing your wet lips, sliding his middle and ring fingers up and down in languid gestures along your slit and swelling clit.
He cooed when you whined out after he inserted them, looking back and forth between you and his hand getting wetter by the second.
You tried to regain a semblance of control and took his coated hand to your lips. Enthralled, he stared up as you slid his fingers in your mouth.
You carefully sat further down on him and began rubbing yourself along his cock.
Jungkook licked his fingers after you had finished and showed the will to move his hand down but you gripped it and laced your fingers together as you picked up the pace of your hips.
He could feel his cum move along his shaft and his muscles tighten reflexively the longer you rubbed your wetness against him.
His moans and whimpers increased in intensity. His fingers tightened around yours while he craned his head to stare down where your bodies met and froze right before he shot his first spurt of cum up to his neck. Five others followed to cover his chest, stomach and purple tip.
You decreased your pace progressively, smiling, thrilled. You leaned down to lick clean the thick spatters on his collarbones, smearing the rest of his mess on your own skin.
A little spent, Jungkook watched you closing your mouth around his sensitive tip, jolting awake his thighs.
Slowly, you bobbed your head, never looking away from his mad-like stare.
“C’mere.”
You crashed your lips together in a lazy, messy kiss.
“You know you don’t have to do that…” He grinned slackly. “One round is never enough… Never will be…”
You let him roll you on your back and gazed down when he licked himself off of you. Your lower stomach was clenching in anticipation.
He didn’t wait any longer before pressing his pads over your clit, making your thighs close reflexively.
“There’s my pretty pussy...”
You furrowed your brows as his fingers caressed the outline of your slit, sliding effortlessly along it.
“So soft… so sensitive, hm?” He cooed.
He surprised you when he puckered his lips around your clit, jolting your entire body to attention, earning a mewl past your quivering lips.
Unbeknownst to you, an animalistic, overjoyed grin crept over his face.
Your lids became heavy as he mercilessly twirled your swollen bud. The wetness pouring out of his mouth made the stimulation so much more intense that he already had you on the verge of your climax.
Unceremoniously, he thrusted in his fingers deep enough to meet the shallow end of your cervix.
“How come you’re still that tight...”
You tried a peek downward at him with your fist covering your mouth when you didn’t feel him anymore.
He bit his lips, ravenous, after he had withdrawn his fingers from your pussy to display the shimmery coating of your arousal.
A blush colored your cheeks as you watched him lap his hand clean.
You didn’t resist when he parted your legs even wider to engulf your entire cunt with his wet, warm mouth. His thick tongue flattened to slither it up earning an unforeseeable cry out of you.
Your raw bundle of nerves sparkled back to life with each of his tentative twirls and sensual strokes. Your mind steadily faded away in a black hole of mesmerization.
He pushed your legs back further until the top of your thighs touched your stomach as he slid his hot palms along the back of them.
They trembled and he hummed in satisfaction, having you overwhelmed.
He buried his mouth deeper and your mouth parted in a silent wail as you almost blacked-out in pleasure.
Your eyes were about to loll back the longer he kept swerving his tongue and he heard your pitiful attempts to have him to stop after you had regained some of your consciousness, coaxed by his overstimulation.
You felt tumbling again, this time in a much more powerful euphoria when you felt yourself erupting everywhere, convulsing hard.
Your body gave out and you were left a whimpering, slumped-out mess beneath his victorious gaze.
You didn’t have the strength to keep your thighs away from his risky hands resting about.
“My little baby,” he pouted, amused. “Was it too much?”
Your eyes were sealed with thick tears but you still could guess where Jungkook was and reached up. The air felt a little suffocating but it didn’t matter.
He indulged and closed the space between you as your arm rested around his neck. He softly kissed your face.
His cock brushed your clit in his motions and you moaned out in pain.
“Too sensitive?” He half-taunted.
“That’s too bad cause…”
He brought his lips right next to your ear, his tip prodding your abused cunt, and seductively whispered right before thrusting himself to hilt inside you.
“That’s the way I like you…”
**************************************************************
There was no doubt about the new closeness you and Jungkook had developed in Taehyung’s eyes.
In spite of everything he was telling himself to get some kind reassurance about his worth to your eyes, it wasn’t working. Not anymore.
He had been surprised to see you after his return, not that he wasn’t happy about it but when Jungkook revealed to him that you had spent the entirety of the holidays together, he didn’t quite understand the reason he keept it quiet.
While he tidied up his room and inadvertently knocked your bag over to come across one of the polaroids from those holidays, it hurt inside.
How many more secrets did you share with him?
It felt like going back in time, to those dreadful weeks when he seemed not to be your favorite anymore, when he wasn’t your center of attention, when you weren’t acknowledging him although this time around, he hadn’t done anything wrong to you.
He tried his best to recall if he actually did but the more he observed you, the clearer it got.
And just like a deck of cards, his hopes collapsed.
**************************************************************
“When are we supposed to get her back?” Jungkook shouted while getting a bottle of water out of the fridge.
“What did you say?” He asked again when he didn’t hear Taehyung the first time.
“You don’t have to worry about it.”
Jungkook frowned. “What ? Why ?”
His friend cleared his throat, “I… I put an end to the contract.”
They both remained silent a short while.
“You what ?”
“It’s over…”
“What do you mean it’s over ?”
Taehyung shrugged where he was sitting on the couch and didn’t even bother looking up from his phone. “I didn’t feel like keeping it up.”
In spite of trying his best to get his point, Jungkook couldn’t manage to since the words had trouble sinking in yet.
He forced himself not to lose his temper.
“Is it... Tell me, it’s not because you met someone that you stopped things just like that…”
“Jungkook… If one person involved wants it to stop, their choice prevails over the others.” Taehyung explained slowly after he eventually met his eyes. “Besides, you wouldn’t have been able to continue to pay the rent on your own…”
“But... I didn’t even get to have a word in it!”
“There’s nothing left to discuss… It just didn’t feel right to me… anymore…”
Jungkook tried to find legitimate reasons to show his best friend wrong but he didn’t. He couldn’t accept the idea of never seeing you again just because Taehyung suddenly didn’t feel like it.
“I don’t know… I still think it would’ve been great to… you know, discuss the matter together in the first place.”
He didn’t want this issue to be about him but — “You didn’t even let me say goodbye to her…”
“ ‘Kook, we’re not the first people she’s been with…” he huffed. “I don’t see why this is affecting you that much when I’m sure, it doesn’t mean anything to her…”
“You have no idea about that.”
Taehyung stood up and faced him, “come on… She is made to do this, to pretend it. All of it. Just to please us. Don’t tell me you’ve caught feelings for her when she was just doing her job…”
Jungkook stared hard back at him.
“But you liked her, just as much as I did… Why did all of it suddenly lose any interest to you?”
“It’s all fake. She’s expected to have us grow attached to her… She’s probably already forgotten all about you. Get over it.”
Taehyung proceeded to walk away when his roommate frowned at him.
“It’s you.”
He turned around. “What. About. Me?”
“You got jealous of us. Of me... That’s why you cancelled it.”
Taehyung rolled his eyes. “Stop it, you’re ridiculous.”
“No, Tae! I’ve seen it…” He raised a finger at him. “You couldn’t stand to see us together when you were around and … You got jealous…”
A snort escaped Jungkook.
“I’m sure the reason you got yourself some girl was so you could get yourself an excuse for when you’d take her away from me…”
“She’s not some girl… I-”
“Yeah? Well, give me names of people that get head over heels in after the week they met that stranger! Cause this feels pretty shady to me.”
The two men looked at each other, hurt.
“You don’t know what you’re talking about… I’m done with this discussion.”
**************************************************************
Jungkook was left furious and didn’t talk to Taehyung the rest of the day.
He looked up the company’s information the same night.
It didn’t sit right with him. It couldn’t end this way. It was inconceivable.
The following day, he went to the headquarters, walking through the same doors he did almost a year ago when Taehyung had successfully made him agree to all of it.
He never would have imagined what those doors incorporated. He never would have thought he would become attached to you, an utter stranger who day by day had managed to catch his heart; the same way he couldn’t conceive it all didn’t mean anything to you.
He understood what your job consisted of but all those moments surely had an impact on you, at least a little bit.
A man Jungkook didn’t remember ever seeing greeted him at the reception desk. He introduced himself and asked to talk to the same lady who set up the contract between you and them.
“Mr Jeon,” she exclaimed with a polite smile. “I’m surprised to see you here.”
“Hm… Would it be possible to talk somewhere private?”
“I would love to,” she kept her smile on, “but unfortunately I’m in the middle of a meeting and don’t have much time ahead of me. Is it urgent?”
Jungkook looked a little distraught. He seemed to be struggling to find the best way to explain himself.
“I- … Would it be… possible to talk with ________?”
“Well, ehm-”
“We had an argument with my friend and I think there has been a misunderstanding…”
“Well, Mr Kim has been perfectly clear and more than that about you two wanting to terminate the contract.” She assured him gravely.
“It’s just I didn’t have the time to talk to her one last time and I wanted-”
“Pardon me for interrupting you but this was stated distinctly in the terms of your contract — after its termination, it is impossible for the Sylph or the caregiver previously involved to contact any formerly interested party. It is not in the company’s interest to let them interact outside the terms of a contract.”
Jungkook sighed heavily.
“I’m sorry. There’s nothing I can do about it.”
“I understand.”
“I’m not supposed to tell you that but,” she started again after a short while. “Even if there had been a possibility for me to get her to see you one last time again, it wouldn’t have been possible.”
“Why’s that?”
“Because according to our decree, a Sylph cannot get in touch with any former client if a new, potential one is interested in them.”
Jungkook couldn’t believe it.
How many days had it been since Taehyung ended it?
It couldn’t have been more than three or four.
“I see.” He nodded. “Thank you.” He didn’t know what he was thanking her for but he left without another word.
Maybe Taehyung was right after all.
Maybe, they had just been passing trade who hadn’t affected you more than any of your other clients. Maybe he was overthinking everything else. After all, acting the way you had been during all those months had nothing natural.
Jungkook spent the rest of the day in his own head, stuck in past memories he had no physical remnants of, except for that picture in his phone.
He nimbly looked for it and when he did, he stared a long time at it.
He remembered that day clearly, you had spent it inside and had stayed in bed all along. It was one of the first times you two had been on your own and quite a while after he had gotten used to you and was taken with you.
He was the one holding his phone above you two but had his face nuzzling and kissing your cheek while you were gazing up at the lense, smiling with your hands covering your mouth.
He felt upset with himself for having only one picture of you.
He edited and saved it with himself cropped out.
He tried to go to sleep but the thought of it all not meaning anything to you was simply impossible to him and it kept him awake for hours, making him wonder how he could move on to something else...
Would anyone be able to fill the void you had left inside him ?
**************************************************************
Jungkook still took the liberty of visiting the company the following days in the hopes of getting updated on your situation but after the second time and in addition to the fact that he couldn’t be told anything because it fell under privacy matter, he was definitively refused entry and had to resign himself.
**************************************************************
The following week, you quit your job and the company failed to mention you about Jungkook’s visits.

Characters Thomas sanders and Virgil Sanders. Logan and roman are mentioned.
It had been a long day, one that never seemed to end. Virgil groaned trying to order his thoughts, but they won't calm down!
The stress from the day just never seemed to end, no matter what Virgil did to try and calm down. He had listened to music, sketched in his sketchbook, and tried to take a nap but nothing had eased his anxiety even a little. It was making Virgil insane which just seemed to make his anxiety go just that much higher. He didn't even know where the stress was coming from or what was triggering it. Maybe that was just another reason why Virgil couldn't calm down.
He was trying so hard and it was hard that when Thomas pulled him from the mind palace into reality, he was ready to start crying. He wanted to apologize for being a pain and tell him he would try harder, but all the words died in his throat the moment he saw Thomas. He looked just as stressed as Virgil did which made Virgil feel even worse. He shuddered and broke out into tears, hugging himself as he cried. Thomas was hugging him to his chest gently, rocking him and making quiet comforting noises as they sank onto the steps. Virgil shook in Thomas's arms and sobbed into Thomas' shoulder.
"It's been a tough day, hasn't it Virge," Thomas said softly, running his fingers through his hair. Virgil didn't dare look up. He could hear how tired Thomas was and felt so terrible because it was all his fault. If he could just get to sleep then Thomas might actually get some sleep. But the static in his head...
"Virgil? Can you stand, Stormcloud?"
Why wasn't Thomas shouting at him and telling him to get his act together? he was managing everything wrong! He was a terrible side. But even so, he couldn't stop gripping Thomas's shirt tightly like a child and hiding his face in Thomas' shoulder. He squeaked in surprise when Thomas just lifted him bridal style and carried him over to the couch, practically falling onto it with Virgil curled up on his chest.
Thomas hugged him tightly and Virgil felt his arms wrap around him. A weight of a soft blanket covered him and, was Thomas humming? The static in his brain slowly got marginally better but he had to focus to keep track of the things going on.
"W-h-y?" Virgil forced out. He swallowed, the words sticking in his throat. Why was talking so hard? But he had to know why Thomas was acting so kind to him? The source of all of this?
"Why what?"
"I just mess everything up," Virgil sobbed. Each word took more energy than he had to give so he just hoped Thomas could just piece it together, he really couldn't do it again.
"..." Thomas's grip tightened until - for a brief moment - it was a touch painful until Thomas quickly gentled his grip. Virgil felt Thomas rest his head on top of his with a sigh. "Virgil your not messing anything up, Today was just a very bad day. These days happen."
But he'd made it so much worse by fixating on all the little things, he'd been too slow to prioritize the activities, Logan was pretty irritated at him he was sure, he'd have to apologize later. Everything was spiralling out of control and everyone was mad at him and he couldn't breathe, he couldn't breathe, he couldn't-
"Virgil. Stop." Thomas's voice was even and calm, but he also left no room for anything but compliance. "breath with me in 2,3,4,5 hold 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, out 2,3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Great job, Virge, let's try again."
They repeated the exercise for what seemed like forever. Virgil lost track as he focused on the breathing pattern, slowly calming down. Had it been a few minutes, an hour? who knew.
By the end, Virgil felt like he could at least think somewhat straight. (Ugh, Roman was rubbing off on him.)
"Better?" Thomas rubbed his back affectionately. Virgil just gave a small nod. "Okay, here's the plan."
Thomas grabbed the remote to the tv and turned it onto the Disney channel, selecting a movie.
"We are going to cuddle and watch movies and point out all the terrible flaws in beloved family film franchises until it's well past our bedtimes, and tomorrow can take care of itself."
Virgil sniffled and whipped at his eyes. "Tomorrow us are going to hate us for this."
Thomas grinned and shrugged. "Meh, that's Tomorrow Thomas and Virgil's problems. Let them deal with it."
There were a few seconds where Virgil thought about protesting. And then he went limp onto Thomas' chest, letting out an exhausted breath. Yeah, he thought, Tomorrow him could deal with it. For now, he could take a while to relax with Thomas. They both needed it.

I Could Be Every Color You Like
October 3, 2021
Prompt - Full of Colors
Characters - Bentley and various others
Notes - This gave me so many ideas for one-shots.
“Why does that kid like art so much?”
He'd heard that question a lot over the years. It was a simple question and, to be frank, not many knew the answer. The youngest of the Murphy brothers was a chatty fourteen-year-old who was usually seen holding a pen or marker to something. It was only natural that people asked questions, he supposed. It wasn’t normal for people to walk around, drawing everything in sight, but that’s just the way Bentley was.
Bentley was an enthusiastic artist and had been for as long as he could remember. Of course, he usually did so for fun, coloring on napkins and such, but his art was always meticulously done. He’d learned to draw from his mom when he was really little. Miles recalled once that Bentley had drawn all over one of their bedroom walls when he was three, but his mom was so happy with how it looked that she refused to wash it off or paint over it. Bentley was just an artist through and through - it was what he was good at.
In school, the teachers that knew Miles and Royce expected Bentley to be just like one or both of them. First was the oldest - Miles, the hardworking, above-average student who had excellent manners and was part of both the automotive department and the school newspaper before graduating early. Then came Royce, the kid with straight A’s since kindergarten who spent most of his free time studying in the library or writing in a journal. But, when Bentley came along, their expectations went out the window.
Bentley was far more artistic than his brothers, doodling in the margins of his paperwork and turning it in, only to receive a note from the teachers, telling him to please stop. While he kept his grades up, even after Miles left for Florida, he could never seem to meet the precedent set forth by his brothers. His teachers tried to talk with his father about his attention problems and constant drawing, but the man never answered the phone. When he did, he’d answer in the same manner every time before hanging up - “Did he kill someone? No? Then leave me the hell alone.” After a while, the teachers stopped caring as much and left him alone, which was nice.
The only teacher he’d liked was Mr. Samuel Hatfield, his art teacher in middle school. The man was a giant at six foot seven but had the biggest heart in the building. He took his time with each of his students, making sure they understood what concepts he was teaching them and could handle their own. For once, Bentley could claim the position of teacher’s pet with pride. The teacher took pride in Bentley’s artwork, using them as examples for other classes and, occasionally, the upperclassmen who needed encouragement.
It felt good to be appreciated.
So, when Royce whispered to him one night in the confines of their bedroom that they’d set aside enough money to move in with their older brother, he felt torn. He desperately wanted to move in with Miles, far away from their father, but he also wanted to stay so he could continue feeling special for his art. It was all he felt he was good at and he loved feeling important, but his love for his brother outweighed that a million times over so his decision was nearly instantaneous.
The next day, after working his busboy job at the diner on the edge of Main Street, he took off on his bicycle for the art shop next to the library, using his collective tip money for the day - a whopping seven dollars and fifty-four cents, nearly triple what he usually got - to buy a small sketchbook and a discounted paint set. The rest of his money, he planned on pocketing. He and Royce would be leaving soon anyway, what did it matter what he spent the extra cash on now?”
The cashier frowned at Bentley as he counted his money, coming up just a couple of quarters short. He sighed, debating on which item he wanted to buy more. Just then, the door jingled next to him and he instinctively looked up, meeting gazes with his art teacher.
“Hi, Mr. Hatfield,” Bentley greeted quickly before turning back to his purchase.
“Well if it isn’t Bentley Murphy,” the art teacher greeted. “Why am I not surprised to see you here. Buying anything good, kiddo?”
“A goodbye gift,” Bentley claimed with a grin. “My brother and I are leaving town to be with our big brother.”
“Ah,” Mr. Hatfield exhaled. “Is this a gift for your dad or your older brother?”
“Nope,” Bentley exclaimed. “This is for me. Something to remember Myrtle Beach, I guess.”
The teacher nodded slowly, taking in the information as Bentley spoke. “So, where does your older brother live again?”
‘Uh oh. Too much info,’ Bentley thought to himself. ‘Don’t get caught. They’ll call the cops if they know where we’re really going. Be smart like RJ. Think, think, think.’
“California,” he lied in feigned excitement, sending his teacher a brilliant smile. “He moved there a couple years ago to be with a girl he liked who moved to Los Angeles.”
The teacher nodded again and smiled. “Well, since this is a parting gift, I’ll cover it, kid.” The man reached into his pocket and pulled out a wallet.
“Actually,” Bentley began, “I think I’ll put the paint back-”
“Leave it, Mr. Murphy,” Mr. Hatfield stated firmly, setting down some money. “It's just some paint. I have no problem helping you to further your talents. Save your cash for spending time with your brother.”
The cashier took the money from Mr. Hatfield and bagged Bentley’s items before handing them to the fourteen-year-old. Bentley and the man said their goodbyes before Bentley went outside and hopped on his bike, riding quickly toward home. When he arrived home and found only Royce there, the two boys packed their bags and left not long after, leaving only a simple note in their place. The next fifteen or so hours were spent biking to their Uncle Tommy’s house - a man who had despised his sister’s husband since he’d met the man and had been encouraging the boys to leave. Once they arrived, they took the man’s car - with his permission and knowledge, of course - and took off for Florida. Ten hours later, they arrived pulled into the town, a sign with bold letters saying “Welcome to St. Pete Beach” being their only welcoming committee.
Royce pulled Uncle Tommy’s car into what they believed was Miles’ address, if his letters were anything to go by. They got out of the car and knocked on the door a few times before anyone answered. It was just barely eight in the morning so it wasn’t unexpected, but the anticipation was killing them slowly. Bentley was mildly surprised to see his oldest brother - who looked like he was just woken up by them - whip open the door, wiping his eyes a few times before pulling them both into a tight hug. They were shown to their room, finding it decked out in just about anything Miles had found that he’d thought they would like. To Bentley’s surprise, a brand new art book and some canvases were laid out on his bed, accompanied by various types of paints, markers, and pencils.
Their brother’s friends became family to them and they were accepted fairly quickly. Lela set aside time every day just to paint with him on the beach. Mick would teach him and his brothers photography in her spare time. Butchy took him and Royce for walks to the park so Royce could write in peace while Bentley drew in his sketchbook. Tanner took him to an art gallery on the edge of town just for fun. It was like being an artist was something to be proud of. Like there wasn’t any competition to have better grades or better abilities. It was an air of tranquility that the fourteen-year-old hadn’t felt since his mom approved of his artwork as a kid.
Over time, he began noticing the colors of people he spent the most time with. Whether it was the color of their eyes or in the things they surrounded themselves with or their favorite colors, Bentley saw them each in a different light. If he said them out loud, it would make sense to absolutely no one, but that was fine by him. He made sure it came across in his artwork instead of in his words.
For instance, Miles gave off rays of baby blue with a hint of red - calmness, safety, and love - so those were the colors Bentley used to draw his oldest brother with most. Royce was a brilliant, sunset orange - smart, vibrant, and playful - and it suited the middle brother better than he ever cared to admit. Mick and Butchy together were green with dashes of lavender, a colorful combination of love, strength, and balance - a source of protection and love that was unending and reliable. Lela was pale pink, full of innocent love for those around her.
So, when asked why he loved art so much, Bentley had only one answer to give: the colors.

Conffessions - Error/Ink
--------------------------------------
Error leaned back with a huff, back hitting the ground as he stared out at the endless stars above him. He was in Outertale, his favourite place to be.

Error fiddled with the scarf around his neck, face heating up at the very thought of the person who had gifted it to him.

“ G-G0dd@mmit. Stup1d s0ul and it’s stup1d em0ti0ns ” Error grumbled. Sitting up, Error pulled out the vial of Ink that Ink had given him if he ever wanted to talk. Ink had a similar thing set up with him, Error having given him some of his strings to tug on to call him.

Error desperately wanted to slam the bottle onto the ground and tell Ink how he felt, but he was so very scared. Ink didn’t have a soul of his own after all, and sure he had the vials, but what if that wasn't enough? What if Ink wasn't capable of feeling romantic love? Or what if he just didn't like Error that way!?

His anxious thoughts caused his glitching to pick up and so Error shoved the vial back into his pockets with a huff.

Maybe he should talk to someone about this? Keeping these emotions bottled up like this couldn't be good for him. Who would he go to though?

Nightmare was out of the question. His best friend was good at a lot of things, but the way of love was not one of them - Especially considering him and Killer we’re STILL dancing around each other.

Blueberry was also out. His excitable friend was amazing, but Blue would probably freak out if he told him and would probably just try to get him to tell Ink upfront.

Dream, Maybe? Dream was pretty good at this type of thing, right? He and Cross we’re having a baby soon too, weren't they? And Dream is definitely calm enough to not make a huge deal out of it.

Decision made, Error stood up and opened a portal to underswap, The AU That Dream and Cross had settled down in.

Stepping through, Error cautiously made his way through the bustling town to where he knew Dream’s house was. He had to be careful though, Less Stretch find out he’s here and come to kick him out. Again .

Luck was on Error’s side for once it seemed, as he made it to the small, cozy house that belonged to the guardian of hopes and dreams.

Walking up the porch, Error paused in front of the door, Hand raised to knock. What if they were out? What if he was bothering them? What if Cross suddenly decided that he hated him for everything he did to him despite having long since forgiving him for it?

Error shook his head. No! He had to do this, or else his Soul would continue to flutter around in his chest and make his head dizzy.

Pushing his anxieties down, Error knocked loudly on the door.

Movement could be heard from inside and a muffled ‘I’m Coming!’ could be heard. Error stepped back, prepared to bolt at a moment's notice.

The door opening startled him out of his thoughts, and Error looked up into the surprised face of Dream.

“Error? What a lovely surprise! What brings you by?”

The former destroyer smiled nervously and fiddled with the ends of his scarf. “ Can 1 c0me in? I… N3ed t0 talk t0 you. I ne3d advice ”

Dream grinned brightly, Eyes turning to stars briefly before turning back into golden pin pricks. Dream stepped aside, revealing to Error his rather large baby bump. Dream motioned Error inside.

“Advice, Huh? Don’t know how much help i’ll be, but i can try!”

The two made their way to the living room, Which Error noticed was baby proofed to hell and back. Error chuckled as he looked around. Dream sighed exasperatedly beside him. “Cross went a bit overboard on baby proofing the house, as you can see”

“ He’s exc1ted t0 be a dad ” Error shrugged, taking a seat on the couch. Dream sat down opposite to him, though Error noticed he had slightly struggled doing so.

Noticing Error’s stare, Dream huffed “I hate being pregnant. This baby is making moving so difficult”

Error chuckled at Dreams complaints, getting a huffed giggle from the guardian in return. “Anyway, What did you need advice on?”

Error wrung his hands together nervously, his face flushing as he attempted to hide in his scarf. Dream looked at this reaction before smiling almost devilishly “Ooooo~ Who’s the lucky skeleton who’s managed to win your heart~?”

“ A-Am i really th@t 0bvious? ”

“Ooooh yeah. Whoever it is, you see whipped”

Error huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. “ It’s… 1t’s Ink ”

Dreams squeal of delight almost made Error teleport out of there immediately “I knew it! Oh, you two would be so cute together!”

Tilting his head, Dream giggled “I’m guessing you're here to ask how to confess to him?”

Error nodded, Turning his gaze back to Dream, his blush having died down finally. Dream hummed, leaning back and striking a thinking pose.

“Well, first of all- Are you okay with touching him? Cause i know your haphephobia is getting better, but i know you still have moments”

Error paused at that. Was he okay with Ink touching him? Error thought back to all the times the two had accidentally touched, or where Ink had hugged him in excitement before remembering and backing off.

Everytime it happened, His soul would flutter happily in his chest and a blush would threaten to take over his face. “ I.. My S0ul flutters 3veryt1me he t0uches me… ”

Dream smiled softly “That’s good. Then considering how dense and oblivious Ink can be, you’re going to need to be direct and obvious about your feelings.”

“Honestly, I would suggest just grabbing him and kissing him, haha”

Error’s face exploded into colour at the thought, his glitching intensifying and his thoughts screaming. Dream just laughed at his reaction, the little shit.

“Oh, you’ve got it bad… You're acting just like cross did when we first got together!” Dream laughed, both at Error and at the memories.

Finally calming down enough to speak, Error looked at Dream seriously “ W0uld that g3t through to h1m? ”

Dream Smiled, nodding “Yup! Like i said, the more direct the better, and i don’t think you can get anymore direct then that”

Decision Made. Error stood up and made his way to the door. “ I guess i h@ve a squid to k1ss ”

“Pfft- Bye Error! Let me know how it goes!” Dream laughed from, waving at Error’s back as the glitch walked out of the house, easily opening a portal to the doodle sphere.

Walking through the portal and closing it behind him, Error began to looking for Ink.

Luckily it didn’t take very long, as Error found Ink laying on one of the floating areas in the sphere, drawing something.

“ I-INK! ”

Startled at the shout, Ink screamed as he shot up and backwards falling onto his back as Error came to stand over him, a smug smirk on his face.

“E-Error! Hi! What are you doing here?”
Error grabbed Ink by his scarf and pulled him up, staring into the creator’s mismatched eyes nervously. Ink had a small rainbow blush on his face as he laughed nervously “uh- Error? W-what are you doing?”

“ Something 1’ve been me@ning t0 do for a l0ng time ”

And with that, Error pulled Ink closer to him and closed the gap, kissing Ink passionately. Ink yelped, surprised at the sudden kiss, before the waves of Love and compassion that we’re coming from Error finally hit him.

Moaning slightly, Ink went limp in Error’s hold and kissed back just as passionately, pupils turning to hearts as his eyes slipped closed.

Spurred on by the noise the smaller of the two made, Error wrapped his arms around Ink's waist while Ink’s arms slipped around his neck.

The two pulled apart, breathless as they stared into eachothers eyes. “ I love you, Ink. ”

Ink’s face finally exploded into a full rainbow as what just happened hit him and he buried his face into Error’s neck, attempting to hide his blushing face.

Once he calmed down a bit, Ink leaned back and looked up into Error’s eyes, as the other waited nervously for a response.

“I… I don’t know if it’s love… but my head gets dizzy whenever i see you smile or laugh, and i cant help but smile at the very sight of you and…”

Ink leaned up and kissed Error again, staring determinedly into the glitching skeletons eyes “I don’t need my vials to feel things when i'm around you, and if that isn't Love then i don’t know what is- so”

“ I love you too, Error ”

Soul swelling with happiness at his feelings being returned, Error leaned down and Kissed Ink again, picking the other up while doing so and spinning them around. Ink laughed into the Kiss, just as happy.

They settled down on the ground, cuddling together. Error's head nestled on Ink’s shoulder as Ink returned to his drawing, feeling more at ease than he’s ever felt now that he was in Error’s arms.

Unknown to either skeleton, a small window had been made not that far from them, and on the other Side Cross and Dream grinned happily at the two- Before Cross cursed angrily

“Damn- I owe Nightmare 20$ now”

So I match you with.............. Kenshin
Tumblr media
You arrived in the past with a bang and somehow despite your tiny frame managed to carry a man four times your size out of a burning building. The whole experience honestly had you on edge. Just as you started to calm down another man dressed in green came riding up to you and the man you had just saved. Hideyoshi, the raven hair beside you called the man as he climbed off his horse and knelt down in front of both of you. He looked up from you and gave you the biggest death stare you had ever seen. He demanded you give him your name and background story. You were so shocked at the whole experience you simply stayed silent. The second he drew his sword you bolted. The simple scare tactic worked too well as you ran away from the men.
Of course, Hideyoshi followed you on horseback through the forest. You ran as fast as your tiny legs could carry you running straight into yet another man. He caught you in his arms and held you steady as you reoriented yourself. Heterochromatic eyes peered down at you. You were honestly super panicked and now apologizing profusely for running into the man. His features softened slightly as he looked down at the frightened creature in his arms, he could hear the sound of horses heading towards him in the distance. He gently wrapped his large hand around your smaller one and pulled you along as he started to run. Finally, he reached his horse hidden among the bushes.
The two of you remained crouched down in the bushes alongside the horses when a calm voice broke the silence, “Lord Kenshin, I have successfully secured us an escape route, if you would please follow me.” Kenshin then swiftly lifted you up and place you on top of his horse, before climbing on behind you. The three of you rode through the night for what felt like ages until you reached a small cabin in the woods. In the back of your mind, you couldn’t help but think this was how you were going to die. Kenshin helped you down the horse and lead you inside. Once inside, you got a better look at the man with a calm voice, and that’s when you realized that you knew him. Sasuke looked at you and instantly knew who you were. While Kenshin was outside brushing down the horses, Sasuke explained the situation to you. It was honestly all too much for your nerves to handle and you passed out.
You woke up in an extravagant room in Kasugayama Castle, you looked around the unknown room and sighed when you realized that it was not all one big dream. From the corner of your eye, you spotted a bunny scurrying out of your room, running in an unknown direction. A few moments later Kenshin appeared with the rabbit trailing closely behind him. He placed a tray filled with food next to you and crouched down beside you, “Sasuke told me that the two of you are from the same village, you are welcome to stay here until you return home.” After that, he swiftly got up and left.
In the days to follow you started helping out the castle staff, it was slow going, but your work was thorough. Something which the maids really enjoyed about you. You had been at the castle for a full week, and you still hadn’t spotted Kenshin again since the day he brought you breakfast.
Tasks done for the day, you made your way to the castle garden to read. After Sasuke had shown you the castle’s library, you had made it your personal mission to read every book within.
You sat in the garden in the shade of a big sakura tree when, suddenly you were surrounded by hundreds of rabbits. You smiled as the fluffballs nuzzled and cuddled you. Suddenly Kenshin appeared, “It’s strange to see the bunnies following around someone other than me.” He took a seat beside you and as if on cue half the rabbits jumped onto his lap and started cuddling him. There was a peaceful silence that stretched between the two of you as you went back to reading.
Kenshin eyes you curiously but then closed his eyes and laid his head down on the soft grass to take an afternoon nap. He never liked women and would usually avoid them like the plague, but you were different. He liked that you didn’t feel the need to impress him or try and wed him like those irritating woman from the different clans.
The next day the same thing happened, as you sat beneath the tree reading, Kenshin appeared. This time he started a conversation with you, you looked up at him from the book you were reading and smiled. Luckily for Kenshin, he had asked about a topic that piqued your interest, and you started chatting with the bunny warlord.
In the days to follow the two of you would always meet under the same tree at the same time. The more days that passed, the more comfortable you were around Kenshin, gradually dropping your guard and opening up. Soon he had made it past your barriers and in your eye, you now saw him as a dear friend
Ooooh how Kenshin loved his upgraded title and this new cheerful side of you. He started giving you the nickname little rabbit cause that is precisely what you were in his eyes. Shy and reserved at first but once out of your shell, energetic and excitable. He loved how you would burst into his room, excited to show him your newest drawing. He would legit steal them and put them on display for all to see.
The two of you would spend hours together, just talking and telling each other cool stories. Sometimes the two of you would just quietly sit in the same room and do your own tasks. Kenshin would do boring admin, and you would get completely absorbed in your drawing.
To be honest the more and more time the two of you cuties spent together the more Kenshin fell entirely in love with you. You were unlike any woman he has ever met. When he opened up about his past to you, you accepted him completely and still loved him without judging. Through your friendship with the bunny warlord, you helped him slowly work through the trama and all the negative feelings he would have. Some nights when he would have nightmares, you would hear him get up and sit out in the garden. You would grab a blankie and go and join him, placing the blanket over both your shoulders as you ask him to tell you about his dream. You may be short, but you were definitely full of love for Kenshin.
During one of his conversations with Sasuke, the ninja, let it slip that you liked mangas and animes. After a lengthy explanation as to what exactly that was, Kenshin got to work. In his spare time, he worked on drawing you your own little anime manga. When it was finally complete, he handed it over to you during one of your tea dates. You excitedly started reading in, and when you got to the end, you found a letter. You carefully broke the seal and opened it. Written inside was a confession of love from the bunny warlord himself. You leapt from the place you were sitting and tackled Kenshin down in a big hug showering his face with little kisses.
Kenshin loves that you show your affection so openly towards him. His eyes will light up in delight, especially if he hears you excitedly yell out his name from across the market street. He knows to brace himself as you usually run and jump into his arms, giving him the biggest hug. For a man that never smiles, whenever you are near or in his arms, he is beaming with pure happiness.
He loves how protective you can get over him as well. Especially when someone is trash-talking him, you are ready to fight. During these times, Kenshin will gently wrap his arms around your waist and bring you closer to him, and nuzzle his nose against your neck and whisper how much he absolutely adores you.
And fear not, no one dare say one bad thing about his little bunny unless they want to lose their head. He knows that half your hearing is basically gone so he will be sure to patiently repeat whatever he is saying to you if you didn’t catch it the first time. Again and if someone dares say anything about getting annoyed with having to repeat stuff to you, he, will, not, hesitate, too, teach, them, some, manners.
Kenshin would go to the ends of the earth and back to keep that beautiful smile on your face. You have saved him from the demons of his mind, and for that, he will be eternally grateful. Just as he has successfully brought you out of your shell, you have successfully brought him out of the darkness of his past and into the light of the future
Often the two of you can be found cuddled together with your rabbit army under your favourite sakura tree. Simply exchanging sweet kisses and interesting stories.
Otherwise, the two of you are spending a peaceful afternoon together in Kesnhins room, each busy with their own task. When Kenshin is done with his work for the day, he will place himself behind you, gently wrapping his arms around your waist, and propping his head up to rest on your shoulder. He will sit like this with you tight in his arms as you continue to get absorbed in your art.
He could spend hours just sitting with you in his arms while watching you gracefully sketch out the scene in your imagination. He will definitely drop a few sweet sneaking kisses on your neck and cheek as you work.

Just a Little Bratty || [JATP Agere/CGLRE Oneshot]
Julie Molina wasn't a bratty little. At least, that's what she'd say if you asked. But if you asked anyone else, everyone would tell you the same thing: She was simply a toddler who didn't like rules. Or cleaning up messes. Or bedtime. Or veggies. Luke Patterson was the only person in the world that could get her to behave. Just a few words in a certain tone and she knew that she was pushing it. Every time Julie refused to follow a rule, or threw her little temper tantrums, he was always the one left in responsible of dealing with it. But, she was still his princess. And he loved her.
A/N:I'm currently experimenting with writing the JATP characters as littles and caregivers, so I hope you guys like my first Little!Julie Molina fic. It's also *the* first Little!Julie Molina fic in existence, but y'know...
anyways, I hope y'all like this! Julie cries but I PROMISE that everything turns out fine in the end. Lmk what you think in the comments!

Everyone else was gone. It was just Julie and Luke.
Just how she liked it.
When everyone else was there, Julie felt like it was crowded, and being openly little felt so much harder. But Luke always made her feel safe and small, without making her feel uncomfortable in any way. Luke was almost perfect.
Except for one thing.
Rules.
He said that they were there to keep her happy and healthy, but following them wasn't very enjoyable. And there was just so many of them! There was bedtime, and 'no sweets before dinner', and even a rule against making messes and leaving them!
Crazy, right? Who likes cleaning up messes? Definitely not Julie.
This specific instance of rule breaking started with Arts and Crafts in the studio. Supplies were neatly organized on the coffee table, set out by Luke for Julie's entertainment. 'What'cha working on, Jules?" Luke looked over her shoulder, trying to see whatever she was creating. She sat up, allowing his to see her page. On it, was a doodle of a flower, which she was working on coloring in. "It's so cute, princess! I'm sure it'll look perfect on the fridge once it's done."
Age regression is something that Julie started doing after her mother passed away, recommended by Dr. Turner himself. So of course, Ray and Carlos knew about it. And they were completely okay with anything that helped her heal in a healthy way. So things like hanging up her coloring pages or carrying around a stuffed animal were pretty normal in the Molina house.
Though, Ray had been pretty freaked out to learn that Julie's caregiver was a ghost boy that had been living in his house for months. But that's a story for another time.
"Really?" Julie asked curiously, adjusting herself so that she was looking back (and up) at Luke. Luke nodded, smiling at her softly. Julie took the comment as praise, letting the pride and happiness bubble up in her chest as she returned to working on the childish artwork. She hummed songs as she decorated the page, switching out her markers for another color every here and there.
After a while, Julie capped a dark pink marker and set it with the others, picking up the paper and handing it to Luke. "Lukeee," she whined, pushing at the table it front of her. She had been sitting on the ground, so that she was at level with the coffee table. Luke sighed, putting the paper down on the couch next to him and holding out his hands above her.
She reached up, letting Luke pull her up from behind, laughing a bit as she came to stand on her feet. "Can I go play outside now?" she asked, twirling around so that she was facing him.
"Of course. You just have to help me clean up this-" Luke stopped talking once he saw Julie trying to run off to leave the studio. "Hey! Come back here." he shouted, causing her to stop in her tracks and face him. "You know the rules. I set up the craft stuff, and you help me put it away when you're done. You can't just leave this all here." Luke crossed his arms, giving her a look that said 'don't push this'.
"Yes I can," Julie tilted her head. "And I will. Bye bye!" she turned around quickly, making it almost all the way out of the door before Luke's voice sounded again.
"Julie."
Julie liked to pretend that Luke being strict with her didn't faze her in the slightest, but really, that tone of disappointment coming from Luke felt terrible. She turned around quickly, rocking on her feet again. She had a light pout on her face. In a soft, small, and childish voice she said..
"But I don't wanna clean! I wanna play."
"I know, kitten. But if we play and just leave everything out, then everything would become a mess!" Luke explained, making a motion that instructed Julie to come back over to him. She hesitantly did so, stopping on the other side of the coffee table. "And, cleaning won't take to long! Will you be a good girl for me and do this?" he spoke softly, giving her a hopeful look. Julie thought for a moment, debating her choices. Right now, Luke seemed a little upset with her. If she did this, maybe he'd be proud!
He had said that she'd be a "good girl" if she listened to him. But she didn't wanna!
"No!" she crossed her arms, stomping her foot harshly on the ground with a huff. Luke's eyes went wide. Even thought she did stuff like this often, he was never prepared for it in the moment.
"Julie, calm down. Come sit," he instructed, trying to prevent anything more then a little temper tantrum from happening. Maybe it was all the conflicting emotions, maybe it was just stubbornness, but Julie did not calm down.
"No, no, no!" she shouted, using her arm to swipe some of the art supplies off of the table, as if the bratty act would prove that she wouldn't take his orders. She didn't even know why she had gotten worked up so quickly, but she did know that what she just did was gonna land her in trouble. She stepped back, hugging herself and glancing nervously between the mess she just made and her caregivers shocked face.
She was ready to cry before he even said a word, feeling a familiar drop in her chest as the childish anger faded from her demeanor. The 'drop' was a mix of guilt and anxiety, pooling in her stomach. "Why did you do that?" Luke spoke up after a moment of shock, giving her a strict look, speaking in a confused, but obviously not-happy tone.
"Don't know." Julie looked down, avoiding his eyes.
Luke realized that yelling wasn't going to get him anywhere with the little, her emotions had changed quickly and he could tell that she felt bad enough at the moment. Yelling and being to harsh would only scare her. He took a deep breath, patting the spot next to him on the couch. Julie obeyed immediately, sitting close to Luke.
She wanted to reach out for comfort, but she didn't know if she deserved it. She knew that she was in trouble. She hadn't been a good girl. Only good girls got cuddles and praise from their caregivers, right?
"Baby, you know you can't do things like that. I understand that you don't like cleaning but throwing a fit and making a mess doesn't solve anything." he adjusted himself so that his whole body faces her, and she did the same thing to him, nervously looking up at him with glossy eyes.
"I know...m' sorry." her words were reduced to mumble as her eyes casted downwards. She blinked hard, tears running down her face.
She hated crying! Her face got sticky and uncomfortable, and she had all these icky emotions. She just wanted to play, and be a little girl for as long as she could. Why did she have to be sad?
"Why're you crying, princess? I'm sorry that I shouted at you, I shouldn't of done that," Luke apologized, cupping the side of her face and forcing her to look up. Julie sniffled.
"Don't be mad at me, please. m' sorry!" she repeated herself, choking on her her words and pulling her face away from his hand.
"I'm not mad at you, kitten. I never was, okay?"
Julie didn't reply in any way, only blinking blankly up at him. Luke sighed, continuing to speak in his soft voice. "I'm just trying to get you to listen to me, alright? I promise, I'm not upset."
Julie looked at him, trying to determine if he was lying, or hiding something. She decided to believe him when he opened his arms. She might have been hesitant to believe that she deserved the affection, but right now, she needed the comfort. She began to babble apologizes into his chest, cuddling close to him as her tears dried up. "I love you, princess. You know that, right?"
Luke didn't speak again until Julie pulled away from the hug, wiping at her eyes. Her tears had left wet spots on his shirt, but Luke didn't say anything. Julie nodded a bit. That reassurance, along with the hug, made her feel a lot better. "Love you too." she replied, trying to rub the stickiness off of her face.
Luke went quiet, trying to work out an internal conflict. Usually, when stuff like this happened, after comfort came the punishment. A short timeout usually did the trick in teaching Julie a lesson about whatever she had done. But she usually didn't break down as badly as she just did there. Luke had to remind himself that she was only apologizing because she thought he was mad at her, she probably didn't understand what she had done wrong. And, if he just let her get away with that, she might just go back and do it again. He knew what he should do, but he really didn't want to.
"I feel better now," Julie admitted, looking at Luke in a way she did a lot. With her innocent eyes, blinking up at him.
"What do you mean, sweetheart?"
"Felt bad. But now I feel better." She spoke as if her words explained everything, leaving Luke to remain confused. It didn't take him long to come to the conclusion that she must of felt guilty about the whole situation, and that he had helped her feel better. He smiled lightly, nodding a bit. Julie's facial expression dropped into a sad one once again. "Am I still in trouble?"
Luke hummed, hoping he wouldn't regret his next words. "Well, I can't just let you get away with this. How about you go sit on the loft steps for a few minutes, and when your punishment is over, you can help me clean all this up?" Luke motioned to the table, and the mess that still sat there. His statement wasn't really a question, but rather an instruction.
"B-but I don't want timeout!" Julie pouted, crossing her arms. Luke chuckled, rolling his eyes.
He was secretly glad to know that she was back to her usual bratty self. He preferred a bratty baby over a sad one, any day. "You know the rules, baby. Go sit." he instructed again.
She huffed, but she stood up and make her way over to the ladder. Instead of sitting on of of the steps facing away from Luke, like intended, she climbed up a bit and poked her legs through the other way carefully. She rested her head on her arms on the step closest to her head level, swinging her legs a bit (as she was off of the ground) and looking around. Luke didn't bother with telling her to face the other way, even though that was usually a requirement of a timeout.
Luke watched as Julie pulled many pouty faces. Not the guilty kind, the kind that were meant to convince him to end the punishment early. Maybe it worked, but that wasn't the point.
Luke could only handle the pouting for a few minutes, before giving in and telling her that her time was up. She got out of her position on the ladder as fast as she could without hurting herself, jumping up and running over to the side of the coffee table. "Can I go play now?" she asked, bouncing on her feet.
"No yet, darling. We still have a mess to clean up." Luke reminded, getting off of the couch and pulling a few colored totes from under the coffee table. Julie huffed, seemingly annoyed, but she complied. Luke had given up a while ago on getting her attitude in check. She was going to complain and pout and whine about everything, he only really cared if she actually ended up doing the thing.
While they picked everything up, Luke noticed that Julie was a little tense. She was also over exaggerating the 'I'm mad at you because you put me in timeout' thing, acting a lot more upset about it then she'd usually be. Almost like...
Almost like she was trying to mask another emotion. Like guilt.
It was possible that Julie still felt like Luke was mad at her after he punished her. Luke didn't know if he was correct in this conclusion, deciding to look into it farther before doing anything. He didn't really have to, though, because the evidence presented it itself.
When they were done, and Julie helped put the totes away, she looked at him hopefully. Like she was waiting for something that would help reassure her that she was okay. Luke realized what she was probably waiting for.
"Good job, princess. I'm proud of you." he smiled lightly, deciding to offer another hug. He opened his arms, and she filled them quickly. She seemed a lot less nervous, and tense. Like his simple words of praise had managed to wipe away any worry in her mind.
"Really?" She asked, just to be sure. Just to hear it again.
"Mhm. You did such a good job helping me, baby!" he swayed in place, squeezing her tight. She giggled, before speaking in a confused voice.
"But...I didn't listen?"
"I know, but you did eventually, right? You learned your lesson and everything is okay now. I promise," He spoke softly, kissing her head. Julie hummed, snuggling into his embrace.
Everything really did feel better when she was wrapped up in Luke's arms. Everything was okay again when the caring ghost held her close. Luke cared about her, and being reminded of that always made her day better.
Luke loved his princess, even if she was a little bit bratty.

A/N: Please leave feedback in the reblogs/replies/my askbox, whether that be something you liked, something that could be improved, or maybe even a request (I can't guarantee that I'll write it, but I'd still love to hear ideas!)! And please, if you write for JATP, maybe try/consider writing agere content! People seem to really like it but there's not much of it yet, and I really wanna see what people come up with!
Reblogs especially would be VERY appreciated, so that more people can discover this!
