“why do people have to make everything gay, since when is harley quinn bisexual?”
you guys do realize poison ivy and harley quinn have been in a romantic relationship on and off for years, right? It’s not a new thing and I’m glad they’re actually being seen as an official wlw relationship, rather than constantly being fetishized by men. because before they were canon and confirmed the content we received was sadly often times rooted in fetishization.
they mean so much to me and I’m glad they were given to us.

Okay I know people are probably just not thinking when they say things, but it's pretty fucked up to imply Sandra Lynn could have "done better" than a man who clearly chose her as a victim because she was in a vulnerable position and traumatized her so badly it's impacted every relationship she's had since.

Selina [pushing Harley away from her]: Pamela, get your woman off me.
Harley: Uh, actually I've been thinking a lot about my gender, not like I hadn't done that before, but like, when I started it was different. I always thought you could only be a man or woman and even when I was first introduced to transness the only change was that now I could "choose" instead of just having no say in the equation, which seemed great at first, but I never actually felt 100 percent comfortable with the label of being a man, it always felt like I didn't exactly have a gender, but I didn't know how to describe that so I never told anyone about it. I only understood what was happening with me at my early thirties and I was so sure that I was too old for this and couldn't come out now, especially as something like being agender, but with time I kinda realized that it's never too late for self discovery and--
Selina:
Ivy:
Harley: I'd appreciate it if you used less gendered terms when referring to me.
Selina: Pamela, get your partner off me.

Some love for my girls~
Tumblr media
I have to be honest, I am not a huge DC fan...but I have a soft spot for these two. They are just so adorable together!!
And I haven't draw wlw in a while too. In my "real life" I almost only draw women. My blog doesn't really reflect this tho. It's 'cus the stuff I post here is the stuff I do for practise. I don't really do men (heh) when I practise I deliberately draw men, just to push myself out of my comfort zone. But today is not the day for that >:)
Also, when posting stuff like this I think it is important to preface that these are not realistic figures. Although I like drawing stylized women I think it is crucial to remember, that these are not real. Love your body and yourself just the way you are, because you deserve love.

Barb Wire (1996)
In today's review, I find my loyalties tested in the year 2017. As I attempt a #positive review of the 1996 comic-book film, Barb Wire #PamelaAnderson #TemueraMorrison #VictoriaRowell #JackNoseworthy #XanderBerkeley #UdoKier #SteveRailsback
Breaking into the world of film acting can be tough, even if you have the experience. Paris Hilton even had to have multiple attempts to break into the big screen. In 1996, as the world was looking to the future, and at the highly unauthorised airing of her private life. Pamela Anderson would take an industrial, leather-clad take on Casablanca in an attempt to break Hollywood, in Barb Wire. Barb…

season 2 CoD about to begin, AC:O iconic scenes, Friday the 13th
Oh oh, My my subscribers. what's cooking?
AC: O - Pericles's soiree brought some lightness to the game. Between all of the hog slaying, throat slitting, and countless robberies, I was in need of a breather.
The game devs at Ubisoft attempted something great here. Their attention to detail brings an iconic scene to gamers. So cool, because roman socialites probably had a similar get-together. Not only did it bring something of a breath of fresh air to the game, but as Rafael brought to life the school of Athens in the Vatican, Ubisoft's doing the same for Rome but in 2020.

Movies: I watched Friday the 13th for the first time. It seems to have a cult following in Europe. Kevin Bacon is in the film. The only actor that I could spot which is relevant in the US today. It's to Slasher films as Chuck Berry is to rock. It's an adventure. Takes place at a camp in the woods of America. The end is one of the most twisted endings of a movie in recent memory. See it!
Jaws was the other film around this era that would revolutionize film making. People will regard it as a more iconic film, but to me it's F13. It's a twisted one that passes the test of time with flying colors.

This was far and away my favorite episode of The Ravening War so far, and I wanted to figure out why breaking down emotional beats by character. Apologies, this might get long.
Bishop Raphaniel breaks, falling into madness. He sees through the trees of the organization he's been representing with a mindset all along that he was the one who knew something the others didn't, only to realize he had been hoodwinked all along. He looks back on the life he's lived, the things he's done, and the things he's been through/plagued by and turns to the fungi going: It has to have been meant for something, please make it all worth it- don't let this be meaningless.
Lady Amangeaux trades her title and her notoriety in for the safety of her child, accepting that she may not even be much in that life (as she turns her life to service), but knowing that the child will be protected. After the death of Pamela Rocks, the woman who in Episode 1 was so fervently clinging to her title, has finally realized there are far safer things you can be than a queen.
Delissandro Katzon loses Colin and falls desperately into individualism. With his anchor to friendship and community gone, his worst instincts of self kick in. What matters is his name, his legacy, his power. Not that of Basha Myaso, no matter how he may support him. Certainly not that of his mother. While he does swap Colin for Karna, she only encourages these instinct in him, having similar values about the importance of his power.
Karna Solara is offered the opportunity for family and turns it down. She wears armor showing that she has been everywhere, she is from every place... yet her conversation at the start of the episode with Amangeaux betrays that she's been everywhere, yet has no one. She is no daughter; she is and always has been an orphan. Yet her connection to Deli betrays one last spark of humanity (humanity in food? you know what I mean) in the form of a crush that began as a sixteen year-old girl. She may have grown up rotting, but there is some heart in there, for him.
Colin Provolone is finally revealed to be just some guy. He is some guy's son who was some other guy's son and he's been running his whole life because of it. So, when he sees Pamela Rocks killed not for anything she did, but because she is of House Rocks, he can't sit idly by anymore. He trades the most he's ever had in life; a position, a title, a true friend- for his morals. He goes from supporting a person he liked to protecting someone he doesn't for his morals. He gives away a life he could have loved for one he can feel okay living.
Woof, guys. It's a lot.

Daily reminder to you all that Sandra Lynn was a 17-18 year old highschool graduate manipulated by an older adventurer in a position of power over her. Something that left her with lasting trauma that heavily impacts her interpersonal relationships to this day. Bobby and/or Pamela are not an example of her "baffling taste" or of her "messiness" they are the direct cause of her trauma. Thank you.
