Okay, so: there's a local restaurant whose online ordering process involves various selecting various sauces to be included with one's order – so many units of teriyaki sauce, so many units of hot sauce, so may units of peanut sauce, and so forth.
The idea is supposed to be that you can select any combination of sauces you want, as long as it adds up to no more than four units. However, what the app actually required is that you select exactly four units of sauces; it wouldn't let you submit the ordering form if the total wasn't exactly four.
Just today I discovered that they seem to have fixed it... not by correcting the errant validation rule, but by adding a "no sauce" option, which counts toward the required total of four.
Thus, it's now possible to place an order with, say, two units of teriyaki sauce rather than four by entering 2x "teriyaki sauce" and 2x "no sauce". Similarly, an order with no sauce at all is 4x "no sauce".
This is quite possibly the least intuitive ordering process I've ever encountered, and I've literally worked in e-commerce.

Danny is about to be kidnapped in Gotham
This is not a good time.
He's studying for the SAT, he's already been kidnapped by Vlad like, four times that week and it was a fucking Tuesday, he forgot his wallet at his new apartment, locked himself out of said new apartment (he could phase through the door but that wasn't the point), he's just been informed that the grant he applied for was denied so he needs to ask his mom and dad for college funds when he'd already told them he had it covered, and just...it was shit.
It had been shit. The entire week had been awful and annoying and he was ready to either murder everyone on the planet or go find a corner to cry in for the next three days.
So when the band of wild goons working for whatever villain of the week pulled up and tried to kidnap him, he snapped.
He used them to vent.
Shouted about how terrible his day had been, how terrible his week had been, how he'd already been kidnapped by his creepy godfather who was way too into him, how college funding was shit and the grant system was rigged, and how he'd have to call a locksmith or break down the door to his own apartment if he wanted to go to bed-all of it. He unloaded all of his frustration.
The goons actually backed off.
One of them gave him an awkward side hug and told him it'd get better.
Danny wasn't paying attention to his surrounding. He doesn't realize that the whole thing was livestreamed.
So when he gets home to his apartment later that day, his door is opened for him by the vigilante Spoiler before he can even turn intangible.
She brought over BatBurger and kidnapped Bruce Wayne, Gotham's bumbling Prince, to talk about college grants.

I started to play around again with the idea of making a comic with pixel art/set sprites (inspired how I used to make comics in ms paint as a kid with Pokémon mystery dungeon sprites lol)
Hopefully one day I’ll make something with it but for now enjoy this apple pie guy and his station!

One thing I think tabletop RPGs could stand to learn from video games is to be more prepared to fuck around with diegesis in the name of interesting gameplay. Tabletop RPGs are often stuck in this headspace where having a rules toy with anything less than direct, 1:1 correspondence to some notional action being performed by a character in the fiction is treated as something controversial, while video games are out there like "the outcome of this cooking competition shall be decided by giving the dishes you prepare stat blocks and having them fight your opponent's dishes in grid-based tactical combat", and it's understood that this is just a game-mechanical metaphor. You don't need several thousand words of ponderous exposition about the political history of the Food Wars Dimension to explain it – it's allowed to be a conceit of the medium.

Take them. Take them before I regret everything and delete it all— /j
Fbsjfnksnf you have no idea the anxiety I have plowed through to get this out there it has been REALLY HARD FOR SOME REASON. BUT. Here they be. Some kind of intro to a Rise Dragon AU that I’ll definitely need to name one day that is not today.
It won’t be a very big AU. Very Leo Centric if you can’t tell… what can I say I have a favorite and it shows. I just thought it would be something neat I could tamper with in between other things, like Undertale stuff and the Ghost Leo AU. All of which I will come back to. At some point.
ANYWHO yes this is all modern day New York, I liked messing with the plot more than coming up with a whole new fantasy world sue me. I’m thinking Draxum still tried to make an army, but was foiled way before he could really begin. Before that, tho, he was ALSO trying to revive the ancient yokai species of dragons, with two successful specimens so far… but all four were snatched when Splints escaped. One dragon, three eggs.
There’s a lot more to that but that’s the basic bitch summary for now. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Oh and don’t trust the height ref there, this one is more accurate:

I've been working on my personal fakemon region on and off and wanted to show off this line that I just finished! Gnourly and Trollicious are based off of gnomes, trolls, icing, and various kinds of cake. Gnourly evolves into Trollicious depending on its icing color. These guys were super fun to design and I'm very happy with their concept!
