just a reminder that ur allowed to start from scratch whenever u want and the idea of a fresh start is always appealing especially if we feel like we haven't been performing or feeling our best.

think about whats not serving you : with that think of ways to replace the bad habits with good ones

reflect on ur mistakes : and take precautions not to put urself in similar situations that u might make that mistake again

think about whats influencing u : what kind of media that ur consuming, the kind of music ur listening to, the ppl that ur surrounding urself with etc

do things that scare u : when we get too comfortable we dont grow so get comfortable with the uncomfortable so that then growth can happen

new things : do things that ur old self was discouraged to do or didn't have the motivation to do

consistency is always key

and remember that ur allowed to change/reinvent urself as many times as u please.

Tbh I think just saying “increased appetite” on change lists with T truly doesn’t tell you just how much. So I’m gonna tell you how much for ppl considering starting T

A fucking lot. A “I’ve had an appetite-related eating disorder for years that I barely struggle with since starting T” lot. I am not kidding you will have so much of an appetite. You will be so hungry. Its genuinely incredible

And obviously it’s different for everyone but I just need ppl thinking of starting T to understand they are not fucking around when they say your appetite will increase. T makes you so hungry you will eat so much. Trust me on this please. Learn to make some nice filling meals, find fun ways to cook veggies, get some meat

#some tips. buying an on sale roast and cutting it up is cheaper than pre-cut steaks or beef chunks #buy meat when its on sale and freeze it #keep some frozen wnd fresh veggies. if prep work is difficult then buy em pre-cut its better than not having any #learn to make rlly filling meals. you will need these.#keep some more filling snack foods in the house for when u dont have the energy to cook as well #hrt #transmasc

Eddie grins after them, light-headed and light-hearted when Buck tugs him to his feet, his big hand warm around Eddie’s. He tilts his head back to stare at the stars, swaying gently. Everything feels bigger under the stretch of Texas sky. Time, possibilities, love. So too loneliness, impossibilities, grief. At one point it had been oppressive to Eddie in its unfolded expanse, all this space and none of it a home he wanted to keep. Now, Buck a warm tether in his hand, he only feels the good. Texas will always be the place that grew him, the place where he was born into this family he loves, but home to keep? That’s not tied to a place. He’s home in Los Angeles and he’s home right now, and that’s all to do with the family he built on his own. “You good?” Buck asks him, smile lining his voice. “Mm,” Eddie assures him. “You’re not gonna fight to defend my honour in your sibling competition?” Buck says, gesturing with his other hand to where Adriana has Sophia in a headlock by the backdoor. “No need,” Eddie says, lifting their joined hands to his mouth to press a kiss to the back of Buck’s, “I know I win.” And, without the disgusted judgement of his little sisters’ gazes, he leads Buck up to his childhood bedroom, squeezes all six-foot-two of him into Eddie’s childhood bed, and kisses him till the moon starts to sink.

@merge-conflict since you asked for the behind the scenes of these shots!

So far, the only workaround I've discovered to get around the NPC collision physics in vanilla photomode is to get some height and clip through the top of the character. Which is why there's a lot of me jumping on the light fixtures and furniture and then wiggling every single pose slider. The setup for objects in this apartment isn't great, most stuff is either too tall or too short of ideal and placed too far away, which made it a lot trickier to get these photos setup. And the reason I did this in the Glen apartment is because it has enough ceiling clearance to do all this, most of the other apartments don't. The Corpo Plaza might have high enough ceilings, but I'd have to scout it out.

I unfortunately didn't get footage of the exact moment where I managed to get the setup correct. Which was me going up to the second floor with the bed, jumping onto the railing while crouched, sliding down to the spotlights just below, and then somehow pulling out photomode at just the right time mid-fall.

I'm explaining all this in case anyone else is also on console and is interested in taking their own shippy pics. It's pretty goofy and requires a lot of persistence, but it's not impossible. And this technique does work for all NPC models, so you can get in with any of the other LIs too.

Hi love! My personal favorite nail colors for this look are: dark purple, dark cherry/cheery red, black, and navy blue/dark green.

Some general tips:

Try square, almond, or ballerina-shaped nails

Embrace nail polish textures with some dimension (satin/velvet finishes) or go for a full matte look

Always go for a uniform, solid-colored polish on all 10 (or 20) nails

If you get different colors, try to get similar shades with the lighter shade on your hands and dark shade on your toes

If you want a design, do a French tip or reverse French manicure with gold, silver, or black polish (if you have black on your nails, experiment with a deep red/purple/blue/green accent French shade, too)

lol maybe how i hunt for fanfiction is different from everyone else but the thought of doing weird math to prove a fic is good or not when there's a million gems that don't enough hits/kudos for whatever reason you're going to get a much better indication of quality and appeal from the tags and summary than you ever will from stats like that

#also... don't be afraid to read something that isn't very good?#it's just a weird concept to me to guarantee freshness from a fanfic #you're asking a bunch of weirdos tip tapping away at their computers exposing their favorite storytelling elements for anyone to see #it's not all going to be award winning #it's not all going to appeal to you #and that's cool #i feel like this is a symptom of content based fandom of the new social media age
