I still think it's crazy what happened after the birds of prey movie in the sense that we got literally the best live action Harley film EVER that was a beautiful excellent gay ass exquisitely crafted action film that actually gave a shit about Harley Quinn and her world and her perspective and WOMEN and, like........ loud assholes called it a flop (it wasn't even a flop) and the pandemic happened and the James gunn took over DC and took Harley from, "don't call me dumb I have a phd motherfucker" to making fucking fart jokes in one of the worst reboots ever made and the Letterboxd film twitter fake freaks who didn't bother with bop gave James Gunn credit for making Harley cool and now we'll probably never see another Harley movie or a Gotham City Sirens movie because people refused to show up for a Harley Quinn movie that was made by and mostly starred women of colour. Like, this shit haunts me. March 2020 when Birds of Prey came out I had something so good, and it's like it never mattered. Even when people were calling Barbie Margot's girl power movie..... I'm forever screaming into the abyss. Birds of Prey 2020, you were my everything and I'm sorry they treated you so bad.

It bothers me that they did a Birds of Prey movie and not only erased the team founder, but replaced her with the ex of the guy who shot her. Like. Dude. What.

Anyway if they wanted a girl power action movie with Harley Quinn as the lead so much they should have made Gotham City Sirens. Get Harley, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman together, and then throw in some other lady villains/antiheroes for good measure.

Meanwhile, also do a Birds of Prey movie with Oracle Barbara Gordon as leader & founder with a connection to Amanda Waller, Cass being her badass self from the comics, Dinah, Helena, etc.

Then you do a crossover movie.

Birds vs Sirens

This is a concept for a Birds of Prey film in the DCU. This film will be apart of phase five. This film will pick up from the events of the Gotham City Sirens films.

Synopsis:Barbara Gordon forms a female team with of superheroes to fight against villains and corruption.

Rating: PG-13

Runtime: 2 Hour 14 minutes

Plot:

Catwoman break into S.T.A.R. Labs and take data and a prototype for a mutant plant species.

Black Canary meets Batgirl in the Clock Tower and the two go over the Sirens moves from the last three nights. Batgirl tells her they’ll need help, since the Sirens are stealing more data and advance plant samples.

The two find the Huntress in Gotham’s Little Italy picking off mobster. Batgirl tells her if they work on this she cannot kill anyone. Huntress rejects the offer and Black Canary uses information on the man who killed her family, she knows where the leader is but she won’t tell Huntress until she helps.

Huntress after losing a surprise attack on Black Canary reluctantly agrees.

The Sirens make base in the old Gotham Zoo and decide to make their plan know. Ivy sends advances plant mutants to kill city officials, and without them each Siren can claim a territory of power,police, city hall, and power over the people (Wayne Enterprises) .

The Clocktower sends distress signals, for GCPD,City Hall and Wayne Enterprises. Black Canary tells them they have to work together to stop the sirens. Canary goes after Ivy at WE, Huntress goes after Selina at city hall and Batgirl goes after Harley at GCPD.

The Birds regroup at the Clock Tower to plant their next move with the Sirens still on the loose. Barbara has to convince Canary and Huntress why it’s important they work together.

Spoiler provides intel for the Birds and Barbara ask her to help stop the Sirens.

The Birds and the Sirens have a final battle at the water plant before Ivy’s spores can corrupt the water supply.

Ivy is sent to Arkham, Selina is sent Blackgate and Harley was going to be sent to Arkham before Amanda Waller arrives and takes her back to Belle Reve. And tells her she has a mission for her if she wants to survive her sentence.

Batgirl and the birds form a more permanent team. Now know has the Birds of Prey.

i am praying that now that james gunn is leading the dc film universe zatanna will finally get a movie. or tv show. or even just a random cameo. (i am begging for scraps here) she’s such an underrated character and i think a lot of people can agree that they are tired of the 10 million batman movies we have. i love bruce wayne as a character but watching different movies with the same plot about him resolving his trauma is getting a bit boring.
