"Tim. Tim you have to get me copies of this footage." Tim is not surprised by the request. In fact, the 'Sure' is already on his tongue when he pauses, a thought creeping into his head, seeded by the notification Tim really hopes Jason isn't paying attention to in the bottom corner of the computer.

"One condition."

"Fuck you, I knew you'd want something. What? You want my cookies? Coffee? For Red Hood to go on camera singing praises for Red Robin? I'll fuckin do it. Just send me the god damn clips."

"Nope, nope, and tempting, but no."

"Name your price, Replacement. I'll pay it."

"Swear you aren't going to go rush in and extract the kid until we're done investigating him."

"What!? Fuck that! I told you was pulling him out next chance I get!" Tim lets himself groan in annoyance.

"Look, anyone that could do that-" Tim gestures to the part of the screen where they'd pulled up The Joker's medical reports following the incidents, showing pictures and descriptions of just how thoroughly Daniel had beat his ass 3 weeks in a row, "without getting so much as a scratch or fucking bruise in return, has got something going on. There may well be a reason they sent him to Arkham!"

Jason's eyes narrow at Tim as he all but growls, "No reason is good enough to put-"

"A fifteen year old in Arkham. I fucking know that, Hood. But we still need to know exactly who we're dealing with when we get him out. What his deal is. If his dangerous. What the hell was so wrong with him that someone thought it was a good idea to stick him in there to begin with."

"He could get hurt while we're sitting on our asses trying to satisfy fuckin Bat paranoia!"

"He took down the Joker! Clearly he can take care of himself."

"Then who has been hurting him!?"

"Maybe him fucking self!" Tim knew he was pushing it. The green growing stronger in Jason's eyes was proof. But he needed to buy them some time before Jason made thing exponentially harder by storming the castle. Still, now he needed to calm Jason down before he went into a full rage. So Tim held up his hands placatingly.

"A few days, Jay. Just give us a few more days. I'm already almost through the Arkham reports, and there are only a handful from Chicago and Oracle is probably going to announce any minute now that she got through the communications blackout around his home town. We just need a bit more time to sort out intel so that we actually know how to help him once we get him out."

Finally, after a tense 34 seconds, green fades back into blue and Jason let's out a heavy sigh.

"Fine. But I get to tell the Bat about Daniel's discipline slips. Wanna see his fuckin face when I do."

"Deal." Tim hurriedly puts a comm in as Jason watches with narrowed eyes.

Batman.

Red Robin. Ready to fill me in?

Not yet, you're about to be busy. I isolated a pattern earlier. Exactly 15 minutes before the locks malfunction, there's been a strange power surge. Always written off. But the surge doesn't seem to be coming from the grid. And like I said, exactly 15 minutes later is when the locks malfunction.

Jason huffs as he catches on. Apparently he hadn't thought to question why Tim was so desperate to buy time before.

Robin responds, since he's on stakeout with Bruce. Mostly because Bruce won't let him watch the asylum alone. Much as the kid hates it, the rest of the family agrees. It's only a matter of time before someone in max security manages to take advantage of theses malfunctions. So far Croc is the only one who had, though thankfully he's not one to start shit on his own. But with Joker, Scarecrow, and TwoFace all inside; any one of them, or god forbid all three, could make for a real bad situation.

Tt. So you can tell before a malfunction happens.

Think so. Last power surge was 8 minutes ago.

And you are only telling us now, why Drake?

Codenames.

Cause he spent those 8 convincing me not to go get our kid out yet.

6 minutes. See if you can stop things before they start.

I'm not far out. Want me to join you?

Tt. I doubt we'll need your assistance, Signal. We shall be done before you get here.

No wait. Signal, head in. See if you can get a read on 26B.

You think he might be meta?

Hood?

Jason glares at Tim betrayed.

"I wanted to see his fuckin face."

Tim just waves him off.

"They need to know. You tell them or I do."

Boys

Jason scowls, but relents.

He put the Joker in the infirmary on his 1st, 7th, and 15th days there. All 3 times took no damage himself. Feral child had to be pulled off and still didn't stop struggling till the clown was out of sight.

All 3 assaults followed by panic attacks, though whether about the Joker himself or what Daniel had done to him, we don't know yet.

The comms were silent for a moment.

A 15 year old...

Did what you've never had the balls to old man.

...I've fought the Joker.

Daniel hits first.

Hnn

I will admit, it is impressive that he can take the Joker down alone. Perhaps he will make for a worthy brother after all.

4 minutes.

We're moving in. Thank you Red Robin, Hood.

The fuck are you thanking me for?

For helping. And giving us time to work this out.

ETA 7 minutes out. Be with you shortly.

The advanced warning proved invaluable for Batman and Robin. After alerting the chief of security of their supposed pattern, he had guards already in motion when the doors swung open. Batman took a perch to watch for max security escapees while Robin assisted the guards in keeping inmates corralled. Many didn't even bother to leave their designated areas, having already seen the Bats in the building.

No sign of any max security inmates. Normally, Batman would find this concerning. And while he did file it away to ponder later why no one from max security ever seemed to make it out of that wing, for today he counted the blessing that he would not have to try to keep Robin safe while dealing with someone like the Joker.

Batman tracked motion through the crowds, watching as a black mop of hair moved, seemingly otherwise unnoticed, through the sea of people. He thought to move in to direct the person back towards where people were being herded to, but the small figure merely walked towards the B wing and entered one of the far cells. That gave Bruce a sneaking suspicion of which patient that was. He moved to get a closer look as Signal swooped in.

"Where is he?"

"I believe he just went into his cell. This way." Batman led Signal to the cell he'd seen that tiny person enter. It was indeed 26B and there was indeed a small, too small, frail looking boy lying on the bed there. A red blotch had appeared under his left eye even though Bruce was certain there had been no injury there as the boy had crossed the hall.

Signal froze beside him, breath stuttering. The boy briefly glanced at them through the corner of his eye, mouth twitching into a brief frown. Then his eyes turned back to the ceiling and his face smoothed out. Bruce couldn't help but reach out.

"Hello." The boy said nothing. Signal opened and closed his mouth, seeming to try to say something, but unable to get words out. Batman wondered what he must be seeing. "You seem hurt. Do you need help?" Eyes flickered back to him and away just as quickly.

"Nothing you can help with Mr. Batman." And oh, how Bruce hated the kid's voice. So quiet and so so hollow. Bruce's mind flashed to his children, imagining any them speaking with such emptiness. His heart clenched, wondering what could have happened to this boy to have snuffed the life out of him so young.

Duke found his voice again, just as the doors buzzed and swung shut again.

"What are you?" Bruce frowned, looking at his latest. Who was looking, as Bruce tracked his gaze, not at Daniel but at the space just above him. Daniel himself seemed to take interest all of a sudden, breaking away his upward gaze to roll his head and look at them. Confusion plain on his face, the first hint of life shining dimly in his eyes.

"Signal? Signal, what do you see?" Batman asked. Robin materialized beside them. The daytime hero stepped forward, then back, light sparking and fizzling around his fingertips.

"There's something in there with him."

Daniel looked back up, where Signal still had his gazed trained on something Batman couldn't see. Even Robin seemed confused, though he no doubt trusted Signal's meta sight.

"Don't worry," Daniel murmured, "S'just a ghost. She can't hurt you."

This 'ghost' seemed unhappy either with the teen's words or this turn of events. Daniel's head snapped back to the side again, causing Batman and Signal to wince while Robin watched stoically. 4 red scratches appeared on Daniel's right cheek, as though he had been backhanded by someone with clawlike nails. A light chill brushed through him and Signal tensed, then relaxed, his gaze finally turning from the emptiness above Daniel to the boy himself. Batman took that as a sign that the... entity, was gone.

Daniel did not react to the obvious abuse from an invisible assailant. He mechanically turned his head back, once more dead and glazed eyes returning to the cracks in the ceiling of his cell. "You should go now. The guards will come around soon to make sure I'm still here."

Bruce wanted so badly to say 'Don't worry, we'll get you out of here.' But Batman was more restrained than that. He would get the child out. But he would have a plan first. For now, Bruce placed a hand each on the shoulders of Duke and Damien, guiding them away. Only when they were back outside did Bruce let them go. Only when they were perched on a rooftop half a block away did Batman pause.

"Robin, report."

"No escaped inmates and no sign of any from maximum security."

"Good. Signal, any information on what you saw in there." Duke rubbed at his eyes.

"A ghost, I guess? I don't know. It was weird. She didn't really have an aura. It was more like, an absence of aura. Like she was a black hole, drawing all the light in."

Even behind the domino, Bruce could tell Damien rolled his eyes.

"And what of the patient, Thomas? Was he not the one you were sent to look at?" Batman bit back the reprimand for codenames, more interested in Signal's response. Signal seemed to think for a moment, then shook his head.

"He definitely had a pretty distinct aura. It... felt powerful. But it looked weak. Dim. When the ghost... struck him, it flared up a bit, but died back down almost instantly. I... I get the feeling he was holding it back. Almost like he was afraid of it. Of himself."

"Hnn. Good job Signal. Robin. You two are welcome to head back to the cave. I'll take the rest of this Arkham shift."

At that moment, the comms crackled to life.

Actually B, you may want to come in, also. Arkham should be fine. And I found why they sent the kid there.

Prefacing this with I haven't read the comics I just dip in and out like the canon is a pool and I'm trying to climb onto a pool floatie.

So y'all remember that weird fucked up mind game test Bruce pulled on Tim in the beginning of their bullshit? The real fucked up mindgame that made Tim quit being robin for a bit, before coming back and being all "I know I'm not gonna get an apology." And Bruce was all "good."?

What if Tim realized it for what it was.

Tim realizes the test is a test and decides to get back at Bruce in his own game.

Bruce wants to act like he doesn't care about him in an effort to protect himself from grief if another kid ends up dying? That's fine.

Bruce resorting to psychological mind games to drive Tim away from seeking any support??

Not cool.

Tim realizes, and pulls a Hamlet.

He likes Dick, doesn't want the man to go through what Bruce is about to, and goes to Bludhaven to directly tell Dick not to believe ANYTHING Batman says for a month if it relates to Tim, that he's gonna teach the old man a lesson.

Dicks like "uhhhhhhh okay? U know we can just tell him whatever he's done is wrong, right?"

And Tim's just "nah, I'm past that point. See u in like three weeks to a month. This conversation didn't happen."

He leaves a copy of Hamlet in his locker in the bat cave, the only clue he's gonna drop until all is said and done, and gets to work.

Pretends that Bruce's mind fuck has driven him mad, pretends that he's sneaking off to chase down leads, pretends to talk to people that aren't there, visits the joker just to learn how to mimic his laugh, (side bar, joker has no idea why the new robin is visiting him and disabling the cameras, or why the kid just copies what he says and when he laughs, but after like two weeks of it he may be slightly uncomfortable around the kid no lie) uses makeup to make his eye bags look worse and trashes his own house (his parents are gonna be so pissed but he's already angrier than they could ever hope to be, so they can suck it), acts so unhinged Bruce calls it off and tries to tell him the truth, only for Tim to pretend like he doesn't believe him and steal the robin uniform and run away, and then goes and sneaks away from his own house (he knew he was being watched) to a warehouse he predetermined with a conspiracy theory board and string in his room (he needs to make sure Bruce knows where Tim wants him to go) and the conspiracy theory is just an amalgamation of the bullshit Joker spews (again, joker is really confused by this strange child hero and very slightly unsettled, what the fuck Batman where the fuck did u get this robin, maybe return him to the robin store? This one's defunct), makes sure it's abandoned, and blows it to hell with the robin uniform inside

He knows Bruce will be too jarred, to lost in the major trauma buttons Tim is pushing with the warehouse explosion, to do a proper analysis. He KNOWS Bruce will want it done as quickly as possible, and try to bury Tim as quickly as he can. He knows his parents won't get any phone calls for at least a month.

Then he goes to ground for a week.

Walks back into the cave after that week, corners a grieving and broken Bruce, and asks him how he likes mind games now.

After all, it was just a TEST. There was no need to skip basic steps like DNA analysis, that's just SLOPPY Bruce.

Dick, who had been warned by Tim early on and kinda knew the kid was gonna pull a fast one of Bruce, had NO IDEA it was gonna be this depraved, and is very highly Shook. Nor did he realize Bruce had tried a mind game first, and is...disappointed but not surprised, really.

But holy shit Tim Bruce started at a 9 and you escalated to a goddamn 25.

Bruce, realizing that they may both be a bit fucked up, acquiesces to therapy. For all of them. Holy shit for all of them, because that was NOT a normal teenage response and he is beginning to sense some distinctly villainous red flags from this kid.

Next time the joker breaks out he flat out refuses to believe that Tim is a Robin, and joker is the one that starts the whole Cuckoo thing, and asks Batman if he's gonna send the kid to Arkham early or if this is a weird intervention program he's trying.

Then he tries to murder like fifty people cuz he's the motherfucking JOKER.

Reverse Robins prompt if you're looking

Batman swears he doesn't want a partner. Until he meets Damian. Talia drops him off to be raised by Bruce and, as Bruce has no other kids, the two are free to train as they pleased. Damian grows up and moves out, taking his own section of Gotham to protect under his new, adult identity.

Batman, struggling to get himself reaccustomed to working without a partner, meets Tim.

Tim knows who they are and has been following them, taking pics and copying their moves to teach himself martial arts for years.

He's seen Batman having trouble and insists that he needs a new Robin.

Him.

After protesting and trying to chase him away, Bruce finds out just how alone Tim is at home and decides to take him up on it.

Damian feels replaced and is immediately antagonistic to Tim.

He hates how happy the damn kid always is.

He hates how Bruce is spending more time training him.

He hates how Alfred has changed typical meals that Bruce liked to remove seafood, which Tim is allergic to.

When Tim asks to train with him, Damian goes far too hard on him.

When Tim sleeps over and eventually moves in, having officially been adopted, Damian wastes no opportunity to remind him who the Blood Son is, and tell Tim that he's just a stand-in. Basically cannon fodder. Bruce didn't *really* love him. He'd just needed a soldier.

Over the next few years, Tim gradually grows stronger, but also more withdrawn and depressed.

Bruce takes in Jason and Tim starts going solo on patrol, but he always makes time to train/hang out with/play with Jason, wanting to be the big brother Damian had never been to him.

And then one night Tim never returns to the cave.

There's no call.

No heads up.

No distress signal.

No one knows where he is.

No one can find him.

Damian insists Tim must have just left and openly mocks him for trying to get attention or having not had the spine to quit face to face.

Until Damian finds him three weeks later, having been captured, tortured, and turned into Joker Jr.

Damian is horrified and ends up killing the Joker to save Tim, but its too late.

Tim dies in his arms waiting for help to arrive.

They're all grieving and devastated, but no one besides Jason blames Damian for Tim's death to his face, making Damian feel even worse.

He blames himself for not helping search for Tim.

He blames himself for failing to save him.

He blames himself for being a bully, rather than a brother.

He finally has to take a break from being a vigilante and moves back to Nanda Parbat, throwing himself into his training and confessing what happened to his mother and grandfather.

When he's feeling able to resume his job again, Damian moves back to the manor and life goes on as much as it can.

They all still miss Tim.

But they're learning to live without him.

Talia and Ra's, seeing how rattled and off his game Damian was, decide to follow him back to Gotham, steal Tim's body, and see if they can revive him in a Lazarus Pit.

Tim comes back to life, but instead of returning home immediately, he watches them from a distance.

Damian has moved back home to the manor, despite having an apartment in the city.

Despite Bruce still having Jason.

Tim remembers how Damian used to treat him, all because he was adopted, and gets angry.

He becomes Red Hood, but while Jason!Red Hood's problem was that he wasn't avenged, Tim!Red Hood is more concerned with saving Jason from the abuse he had to endure from Damian.

He breaks into the manor one night as Red Hood, making sure to avoid every trap and alarm while still leaving obvious signs all over the cave and the manor, wanting to send the message 'I know you're Batman. I was in your house while you were asleep. I'm dangerous, and I know all your tricks.'

And then he goes upstairs to kidnap Jason.

Jason is overjoyed to find out Tim is alive, but right as Tim's about to take him and leave, another little kid is suddenly in the room.

Jason explains that Dick recently lost his family and Bruce took him in.

Tim knows he has to save both boys, but now is also even more caught off guard.

He'd spent so long trying to tell Damian that he was wrong, that Bruce really did love him like a son.

But the fact that he'd not only been replaced, but Bruce was still sending kids into battle, even after what happened to him was too much.

Tim tries to kidnap them both, but Dick, who's never met Tim before, gets scared and runs to Damians room for help.

Damian fights off the intruder, but then Tim's helmet falls off/Jason says his name/Damian recognizes the fighting style/he somehow finds out that he's fighting Tim and freezes, allowing him to escape.

Damian is shocked that Tim's alive and he and Bruce work to find him and bring him home.

Only, Tim doesn't want to come home.

Not when Damian is there.

Not with Bruce and Alfred, who never did enough to protect him.

But...

He finally accepts, solely to protect Jason and Dick.

So the family gets to work towards the second chance they never thought they'd get, Tim gets a family who loves him, and Jason and Dick get a very protective older brother.

Kate Bishop would have SUCH weird relationships with Gotham's rogues.

She hates the Joker. And it's not for the reasons the Joker wants.

Kate is not afraid of him. To be clear, she should be, and many people would like her to stop antagonizing him because if he Joker toxins her they're FUCKED.

Kate hates the Joker because he's bad at being a clown. Kate is insulted on Clint's behalf and the behalf of carnies everywhere.

She doesn't think he's particularly original. He's like if 4chan was a person. He just wants to see the world burn? Great! Kate is Good at Arson so she'll set some of his shit on fire. He wants to set up puzzles so you can almost solve his plot? OK well so does the Riddler and his stuff is way more clever. Also, he can pull off a bowler. She LOVES the Riddler btw.

You have a scary toxin? OK well so does the Scarecrow and he is WAY more terrifying than you. Like, is the Joker just copying the other Rogues of Gotham? She's fucking terrified of the Scarecrow! Which makes sense. She is a bird.

Joker is Batman's nemesis? Well she has a nemesis too and she's classy and deranged. Kate's nemesis makes robot clones of herself and has threatened to put her cigarettes out on Kate's face WHILE wearing a gold mask, okay? Classy. Madam Masque understands how to leverage the awkward sexual tension between hero and villain. The Joker just needs to admit that's what it is and move on from there.

Someone starts talking about Two Face and Kate's like, what are you saying? Disabled people can't be villains? Evil masterminds? That's fucking ableist. Also, he was a lawyer. The cops in Gotham probably don't even hate him for being a villain, it's probably just because he's a lawyer. How do you know the cops aren't framing him??? Answer THAT.

And Ivy? Kate has a massive crush on her obviously. And Ivy thinks Kate is SO bad at being a human she barely counts as one, she can stay around. Kate and Harley are BFFs. Ivy will be At It with the Bats and Harley and Kate are doing girl's night. They convince Babs to go with them. It's great.

Kate has ADHD. You know who she's terrified of? Calendar Man.

I noticed they changed Makoto's battle stance.

In FES he's much more crouched down and feral while in Reload, his posture is A++ and he's holding out his hand in front of him. (Reminds me of Aqua Kingdom Hearts actually)

I wondered if they took his stance from the Persona 5 Royal DLC but no, that stance is different as well. He is standing up straight, but he also has his hand in his pocket/on his belt in a much more relaxed fashion. He doesn't really look like he's fighting a 4 on 1 battle.

I started to wonder, "Did they copy Joker's stance onto him or something???" But no. His stance is not like Joker's at all. In fact, Joker's stance is a lot like Makoto's stance from FES.

Feed wide apart, left side of the body facing forward (for the most part). What probably happened is they took inspiration for Joker's stance from Makoto originally. Now in the remake, they needed to give Makoto a new stance to differentiate him from Joker again. Haha.

All of this is very irrelevant but fun to think about. I still think Makoto will only be able to use swords in the Reload sadly, but it does cut down on development time to program all those weapons and animations to work with him. Just kinda sad a bit of Persona's 3 uniqueness will be wiped away with history.

Also I must say, P3R is looking amazing. Just comparing Makoto's current model to his P5R one?? I'm in awe of how good he looks. It's so detailed and expressive in comparison. Even compared to the dancing game.

I'm so happy they didn't just stick with the P5R engine and went a little above and beyond to craft something unique. I'm also willing to bet everything they've learned for P3R will be used for future Persona games.

Bruce: Lex, I'm not not in the mood we are holding back Wonder woman, his aunt, and the Titans as best as we can to keep your bald ass head still attached to your body. Just tell me where he is before the rest speedsters, my kids, and teen titans catches wind of this. His villains ain't going to like this either...

Lex: aw you really are very protective over your flash, but I ain't going to let him go from a threat.

Bruce: I'm not threatening you I'm literally saving you!?

Lex: ha ha, I'm not falling for it—

Bruce: I'M NOT JOKING —

Dick: where the sunshine of this awful world at Baldie!

Bruce: how did you get back that crowbar!?

Dick: agent A.

Bruce: of course... Nightwing, we can be civil about this, Lex doesn't have to die like the Joker... Original or copy, we still don't know which...

Diana: bat move away from the little man, we just want to talk.

Bruce: that's a lie. Put the sword down now...

Lex, now actually fearing for his life: uh he's in my office eating fruit snacks... Please don't kill me!

Wally: hey Lex, I think you should let me — oh, nvm hey guys! You need to try these fruit snacks wingy, they are shaped in Pokemon!

Bruce, look at Wally the lex: you bribed him to stay with fruits snacks!?

Lex: you'd be surprised what food can do to keep a speedster in your lair!

being the daughter of the joker and harley quinn was no easy feat. everyone thought you were the carbon copy of your parents.

you could only pray for a smidge of their qualities. despite having the greatest supervillains as your parents, your moral compass was stronger than you’d like.

sure, you had your fair share of kills and whatnot, but you weren’t as ‘villainous’ as your parents; and you weren't kept in an asylum because of your unstable mind.

your parents cared little that their only child was nothing like them. and you didn’t mind that one bit — except for times like this.

“no …” your eyes widened, breath hitching as you watched the blood pool at your feet. “fuck, fuck, fuck.” the curses left your lips like a mantra, unable to look away.

you fell to the floor, hands shaking as you looked at the mangled figure of gotham’s favorite sidekick. the whacks he had received from the joker made robin’s face unrecognizable.

“y/n, we need to leave,” bane spoke, hearing the police sirens in the distance. “now.”

"the pit," you muttered, looking up at your henchman/best friend. "we must take him to the pit."

"the pit?! are you crazy? your father–"

"don't call him that. my father would not have just killed robin without a reasonable explanation."

"the joker doesn't need a reasonable explanation to kill, love. especially not batman's sidekick."

bane sighed, not having time to argue with you. "just get off the floor, darling," he begged. "i'll take him to the pit," he announced.

it was hilarious, really, seeing how the mighty bane was putty in your hands. the old guy was your best friend and he did everything he could for you.

the corpse of batman's sidekick was carried by bane before he threw him into the pit.

“y/n, i’m fine, honestly. it’s just a small graze. nothing much.”

jason sighed, holding your frantic hands in place as you rushed to tend to his busted lip. you pulled away from his grip, having your way as you grabbed the ointment.

“you got hurt even after wearing a full-face helmet,” you stated as-a-matter-of-factly. “clearly you are not fine, jason.”

“seriously, i’m–”

you took a deep breath, brows furrowing. “just help me … to help you, please.” you pleaded, pouting unconsciously.

jason paused, shaking his head before agreeing, knowing well he couldn’t win an argument with you. “fine,” he grumbled, biting back a smile at your victorious grin.

it was three months since the incident, and you were convinced jason was your other half. after he emerged from the lazarus pit, you did whatever you could in your power to nurse jason back to health.

despite you saving him, jason was also there for you within the three months. when you got the news that batman killed the joker, jason was there for you.

he listened to you, held you as you cried; it really didn’t feel like you two only knew each other for three months — it felt like an entire lifetime.

jason held your chin up, shifting attention off his wound. “thanks for giving a shit about me, babes,” he muttered, leaning in to place his lips on yours for a quick peck.

the two of you didn’t really have a tag on yourselves; dating, hooking up, you didn’t know — it just sorta happened. jason wasn’t ready to fully open up, and you weren’t exactly an open book either, so it worked for you two.

you two had feelings for each other; the only issue was you and jason needed to figure out exactly what they were.

“you don’t thank someone who wants to take care of you, idiot.”

“bane, send someone to that abandoned warehouse for the cleanup. also, have you seen jason?”

you called out, standing in front of the sink as you washed away the blood on your hands.

after his recovery, jason took the new name, red hood, gathering allies to get back at the titans. he told you of the way they treated him, and if getting back at them was what he wanted, you were all for it.

jason knew of your morals and where you drew the line, so you trusted him with whatever plans he had for them. even as a child of supervillains, you showed mercy to a hero’s sidekick, therefore you figured jason wouldn’t be that harsh on the titans.

and boy, were you wrong?

“bane?” you tilted your head in confusion as you stared at the older male. “where’s jason?” with one look, you knew something was off, and you needed to know what it was.

“he, uh, left.”

“i can see that, bane. but exactly where did he go? and for what?”

your questions caused him to freeze, knowing well you wouldn’t like the answers you were going to hear. but with you looking at him like that, he couldn’t hide it either. so, he told you everything.

from jason’s plan to send you off to take care of some minor drug cartels as a distraction, to the plans he had for the titans, bane told you everything. your blood boiled as you listened to the plans jason had, realizing he lied to you from the start.

“tell me … tell me where he is. right now!”

“jason todd, you fucking asshole!”

you confronted the brunet, only aware of dove and nightwing once you stood in front of the male.

“babe, now’s not–”

“don’t fucking babe me!” you fisted your hands, controlling your anger. “you lied to me! this wasn’t a part of the plan.”

nightwing and dove exchanged glances, unaware their former titan was working with you. “he can’t be serious, right?” dawn raised her brows. “the daughter of the joker?! really?!” she asked in disbelief.

“i’m more surprised about the fact she’s taking our side,” dick muttered, utterly confused. “we really don’t have time for this, jason. stop the timer now!”

“you heard him, jason. stop the fucking timer.”

“why are you being like this?! they killed your father! can't you put your stupid morals aside for a bit to avenge his death?!”

“they didn’t kill my father, batman did.” your voice quivered, seething with anger. “i won't fuck with them just because they are associated with batman. i have stupid morals, you see.”

jason noted the change in your eyes, not recognizing the look behind them. “y/n, i–” he couldn’t complete his sentence, turning to the others upon hearing dick’s voice.

“dawn! no!”

your heart fell upon seeing dawn click the gun, realising jason had given her the detonator instead of the deactivator. dick caught the blonde in his arms as she fell before turning towards you, but the two of you had long gone from there.

you pulled away from jason’s grip, angry tears burning in your eyes as you looked at him. “i can't believe you, jason,” you cried. “i can't believe i thought you were the fucking one for me.”

“y/n, please–”

“save it, todd. there’s nothing you can say that’ll bring back the man you just killed.”

jason scoffed in disbelief. “what about the people you killed just a few hours ago? what about them? can't bring them back, right?” he tried arguing, only angering you further.

“they are criminals, jason!” you raised your voice, startling the brunet. “they are criminals who sell drugs to fucking preteens! did hank ever do that kind of shit?!”

“well, i, uh–” jason struggled to form his sentences, not knowing what to say when he saw the tears finally fall down your face. “please don’t cry, y/n. i will–”

“forget about it, jason. i won't ever give a shit about you, so just leave. i don’t want to see your face again.”

Cruella 4w3 (so/sx)- Sharing her uniqueness with others through fashion and art. Her desire seem to align with her true self and she doesnt overindulge in the sadness and anger of the unhealthy 4.

Piper Mclean (4w3 so/sx)- In the beginning of The lost hero she seemed to struggle a bit with her identity in relation to others. However we see how she ended up discovering her sense of difference and uniqueness.

Edith Sharp (4w5 so/sp)- Overall healthy SO4 who seeks to share her unique perspective on ghost through her art. She doesnt seem to think of herself as better due to her unique perspective.

Dan Humphrey (4w5 so/sx)- His desire to become "the rich" in later seasons makes him resent ruin other peoples lives while having a sense of superiority about it.

Diane Nguyen (4w5 so/sx)-Trying to give meaning to the trauma in her life makes her quiet frustrated at the reality that trauma its just damage that we have to deal with.

Arthur Fleck Joker (4w3 so/x)-A need to be unique and special makes him commit horrible acts and becomes frustrated when the public doesn't accept his actions as nothing but harmful.

Healthy Self Preservation 4

Ash Fox (4w5 sp/so)- A struggle to understand what makes him different from others makes him a bit distant. At the end of the film we see him finally accept that he is different and that it's ok to be this way.

Nadine (4w3 sp/so)- While some of the acts she commits in the film are questionable. I think most of us can understand her reaction to this is through a feel of shame and loneliness after being backstabbed by her friend. In the end of the movie we see her trying to forgive and move on.

Nico Di Angelo (4w5 sp/sx)-when we meet back with him in heroes of Olympus we see a more cold and detached version of him that strays away from others. However we see that people eventually confront him about this behavior and he eventually grows and becomes more open and receptive.

Susana (girl interrupted) (4w5 sp/sx)-A struggle to define her self completely separate from others and her personal problems makes her rage at others and her self. Eventually we see deciding to take her well being into her own hands and

Violet Harmon (4w5 sp/sx) - Her desire to be different makes her reject the affection of those who truly care about her. Not to mention the current atmosphere between her parents probably makes her feel neglected and alone.

Squidward (4w5 sp/so)- Do to his failed ambition we see him as someone who lives in a constant state of envy and views anything that isnt remotely depressing as bad and mediocre.

Healthy Sexual 4

Zuko (4w3 sx/sp)-While at the beginning of the show he started of as a villain we see him move forward and struggle with his sense of self. However as the show goes on we see him move his 7 and believing in something greater than himself.

Lady Bird (4w3 sx/so)- In the start of the movie we see a tempestuous lady bird who believes she is inherently different from others. As the film comes to an end we understand that this need to be different doesn't come from a need to be superior but a means to stand out in her own way.

Manny Delgado (4w5 sx/so)- While some his behavior has allot to be said about. In general I believe him to be generally healthy in early season he wee how he believes he is somehow deeper and more intelligent than everyone else. We see him integrate into 7 more.

Unhealthy Sexual 4

Tracy (4w3 sx/so)-Her desire to basically copy the lifestyle and personality of her friend makes her downfall in the movie inevitable. Tracy's need to special and unique makes her desire to blend In with others in an environment where she shouldn't be.

Loki (4w3 sx/so)- Yes technically his end in the MCU can be argued that he is healthy. However In the majority of his appearances we see him struggle with his desire for depth and his self image. In the end we see Loki making complete peace withhimself.

Fern (4w3 sx/sp)-A need to be the REAL finn and lack of self esteem. This drives him to wanna kill Finn to have sense of a fulfilled identity.

I was thinking and I got the conclusion that stalker!Tim works as an AU not because Tim is (while not a stalker) canonically a weirdo (he is) but because Bruce is canonically even more of a weirdo.

We know that just like his reaction to the fake uncle shit, after dealing with the shock that this kid figured out his identity and bonding more with his new Robin, Bruce would just compliment Tim stalker abilities and give him new ones.

And that's to say I need more of stalker Bruce creeping people up. We already have him knowing all JLA secret identities without them telling him. But we need more. I want him knowing Hal Jordan's favorite ice cream flavour or Diana's birthday or Dinah's food alergies without no one telling him. He figures Ollies favorite fucking arrow and Zatanna's favorite Barbie movie, he discovered Arthur favorite snack and how exactally Martha Kent made her fried chesse to give a perfect copy to Clark when he was missing Smallvile during a space mission. He discovered Barry's competitive pokemon team! Everyone on the JLA is freaked. They think he has a secret mind reading/guessing superpower he might not even know about but is just stalkish paranoia. The only person he can't figure things out (and it keeps he awake some nights) is Captain Marvel (he is still the first to discover Billy is a kid). Martian Manhunter is the only one that knows Bruce is just weird but he knows he has good intencions so he doesn't care.

And it isn't only with the League. He makes extensive background checks in all his kids friends. The Teen Titans (both Dick's and Damian's) are freaked out by it. The YJ is actually fine 'cause they are used to Tim and it makes sense Bruce would be like that. The Outsiders (both Jason's but also Cass and Duke's) make their personal quest to mislead him. Not to mention the civilian friends. He is less obvious about it but the kids know and it freaks them up. Steph has a serius discussion over bondaries the day Bruce asks about Crystal's dentist visit and Babs is annoyed af when he just knows things about Alysia. And not only the kids all the other batfam members! The Birds of Prey straight up told him to stop multiple times. Helena once asked Sage's help to trick Bruce, Kate just used Alfred to order him to stop. Barbara interceded in name of Montoya as if she wasn't even in the paranoid stalker game with Bruce and Tim (Babs is worse than Bruce actually). Jim Gordon thinks is cool actually. But Lucious Fox is just "kid, I love you, but Alfred needs to teach you bondaries" and "how did you know Tam's baby tooth was starting to fall before me??" (Yes Bruce does this stalker thing since he was a kid/teen)

He also does it with the Rogues. At first they don't notice it because it's normal that their oponent knows things about them but starts to get weird. Selina freaks out when Bruce tells her to say happy birthday for her cat n12 (Dollie, he called it by name) when she hadn't even introduced him to her cats yet. Riddler had a genuine breakdown when Bruce just gave him the exact perfect copy of his glasses prescrition and all to replace his broken ones during an interrogation (he needed Riddler's help against a copycat). Harley punched Bruce in the face after he correctly pointed out she had just started her period and offered heater packs for her cramps, a chocolate ice cream and some snacks while driving her to Arkham, Penguin stopped doing crime for a whole week after he had almost fainted (being a crime lord is hard) for not eating the whole day and having high blood pressure for stress reason and Bruce just gave him a snack, a bottle of water and his meds (except it wasn't his meds, Batman just had a pill of Penguin's prescription in hand and wtf), Scarecrow recomended him therapy when he somehow figure out Jon's favorite candy bar and tried to use it as a bargain for information, Joker felt very flaterred that Bruce not only knew that he made his own dye using two pre existing dye products and a mix of chemicals but had the formula including the recomended brands for everyhing.

The only person who had no reaction was Clark. Clark sees Bruce being a weird stalker as just a fact of life and no one knows how to deal with it. (It's better than Tim "I wanna be like that" and Babs "cool but I'm better " aproaches at least). Talia Al Ghul used to consider it impressive and have a flirty competition to see if Batman could figure details about her. After they stopped being an item they respected each other enough that he just stalks Talia if is related to Ra, crimes, Damian or the League.

Thank you sm for being interested! Theres SO MUCH I can say that I wouldnt be sure where to start so I will focus on the ones you did ask!

The phantom thieves are very much in this universe as well. And Akechi will join them eventually, he approaches them himself when he realizes that maybe Maruki isn't following through their cause properly. He requests them to change Maruki heart along with him for the sake of making sure the world the envision will truly be good. (Obviously this will all blow up into Akechi breaking out of brainwashing as they explore the palace)

I will copy a snippet of my notes about the fact that he is part of Shujin academy as well and how he Joker first meet! And reply to the romance question under cut!

"Akechi would be the vice president of the student council and has a general reputation of being approachable and kind and that venting about your problems to him always helps. He doesn't always use his powers it's just a general he Helps just by listening. The entire school is rumors of how kind and pretty is the counselor and his son. They might not look alike but everyone is like they are so similar it's so true this school will always be at peace with them. Then akiren charges in. And it's not like he brainwashed the whole school so rumors start, it's unpleasant and akechi won't have that its not their goal. He changes the person who started the rumors but that doesn't stop it and they can't make their plans too obvious he can't change everyone so he approaches akiren with the goal of knowing how he is doing if he should just change him into someone 'calm' and maybe the rumors would go away on their own. But he realizes akiren is … harmless and kind? There's nothing there to even rumor about. Maybe it's because akechi is there and he is pretending? He decides he wants to keep in contact he wants akiren to keep in touch to know if he will adjust well if he can give names if someone does something to him and funny enough akiren agrees in a similar reason of, tell me if there seems to be a big person that the students are worried about (so the thieves can change them) Basically they are each other new source of info for side quests. Also joker figures it out after kamoshida because the entire school seems to be Too Calm and Too Okay with what just happened. Something akechi slipped with Morgana there makes him realize Akechi has some powers too and maybe that's why."

As for romance, I'm obviously a shuake fan if you have glanced at my blog. Basically there would indeed be a endgame with the two of them but things are a bit more complicated than that. Because for Akechi to heal and accept himself after Maruki brainwash breaks, he needs Joker to not have loved his pleasant self. Unlike canon it's not like that's a version of him he was just pretending to be, it's a version of him that existed out of his control.

So basically while they have feelings for each other before it a bit, even though Maruki says he shouldnt (making this one of the few things Akechi has picked out of his own free will) and Joker mostly likes him as a friend. Their relationship mostly develops as in a similar way to Sumire Rank5-10, Joker spends time with Akechi figuring out together what 'Akechi' even is as a person, its been all 4 years since he has been under control, and now all he has is Anger and Sadness at his manipulation and forgotten memories that came back. Joker is the one who introduces him to competitive games like darts and shogi this time around. The most validating thing Joker does for Akechi is loving his anger more than his politeness in the end.

Perhaps the funniest part of that one idiot's flailing response was this:

Like....how can someone be that bone-headed to not grasp that a sequel is supposed to be about expanding and upping the ante. The Heartless were a big deal in KH1 solely because Ansem and the League of Disney Villains were around to direct their actions, they were a major threat because the worlds were unguarded since the walls around them were down and the entrypoints to their hearts left open. Those factors are gone as of KH1's ending, so what this idiot is saying is that it should have just been....reversed? That KH2 be a direct copy of KH1 by having another massive Heartless invasion as the main threat, or else the antagonists of KH1 are being "put down"? (I guess CoM copying KH1 so much is why they give it a pass, even though it reduced the Heartless to pure fodder, had the Disney villains as just memories not even in an alliance, made Ansem a ghost who got taken down repeatedly, and hyped up the Organization and the Nobodies to no end? Talk about double standards!)

Also, "the game sets Ansem as somehow inherently less threatening than Xemnas without any real reason for that)" shows that this joker wasn't even paying proper attention to KH1 let alone KH2! In KH1, Ansem was objetively not threatening for well over 80% of the game because he couldn't do anything. He was just a robed spirit! Hell, he was just as chronically underutilized as the real Ansem, if not moreso! Maleficent was the Heavy in that game, she was the one doing most of the evil work. Ansem relied upon manipulating her and Riku, body-jacking Riku, and then obtaining a massive amount of dark power at End of the World in order to be a threat. Xemnas is inarguably more threatening than Ansem. He was more threatening than Ansem in KH1 itself (Final Mix)! He's got the same manipulative brilliance (since he's the same person) but also a body, power inherit to him that he doesn't need to seek and obtain, and a much fiercer, more ruthless drive to succeed due to his nature as a Nobody. Ansem had no contingencies to fall back on when he failed - Xemnas had two contingencies when he failed, both of which came dangerously close to succeeding.

In short, this person's brain...

AU where Clark gets mad at Bruce because of the whole "Contingencies to kill everyone in the Justice League" thing, please.

Oh that's a throwback. I'm gonna use Contingency Plans from all over different DC studies because it's an omniverse now and also some are more fun/horrible than others so.

1- Clark finds the contingency plans because he's, you know, an extremely skilled investigative reporter and can ask favors from anyone in the League. After learning about all of them, he imediately calls Bruce to meet him, now.

Bruce expects an emergency, and is very confused when Clark drops a copy of his notes on the plans between them, pissed as hell, flying slightly, and his country accent thicker than normal as he demands to know what the hell these are.

2- "Contingency plans?" does not make Clark happier.

"For what? If you want to turn on all of us?"

"No, the opposite- if any turn on us or humanity." Bruce is smart enough to figure out why this is so upsetting, but stubborn and proud enough to keep digging and make it worse.

The argument escalates. Bruce points out that multiple Leaguers have been brainwashed before, so knowing how to take any down is just practical. Clark responds that there's a difference between 'planning what to do if you need to stop someone and break them out of mind control', ('Dehydrate Arthur with any heat/fire stuff and bring in Manhunter') and 'actively design and produce a version of Fear Toxin that would make Arthur hydrophobic and weaker until he dies of dehydration.' or even worse, the virus that would instantly incinerate Manhunter! Bruce has that Toxin made already! He's not planning to protect them from brainwashing, he's planning to be able to seriously hurt or kill any of them in the instant that he decides it needs to be done!

3- Bruce does not take the accusation that he'd murder very well. Clark knows he'd never murder. Clark was the one that stopped him from killing the Joker the one time he would have crossed that line! But Bruce knows that in the wrong hands, the League he helped create could do far more harm than good. There has to be plans. He's been betrayed too many times. There might not be time to go get a flame thrower and enough backup to incapacitate J'onn if it turns out he's been using his mental powers all along to hide some teachery. It would destroy Bruce to have to use any of the plans.

But Bruce has been destroying himself in an attempt to protect others for a long time, so.

Again, the fighting escalates, and Bruce gets so mad that he just leaves. Zetas away to the cave. Where the kryptonite is. Clark doesn't follow him, he goes to Diana.

4- Diana is, at first, on Bruce's side, but gets more concerned the more Clark shows him. Some of this is reasonable planning by one of their few members with the stomach and brains for it. And some of it is downright arrogance. What if Bruce got brainwashed? What if they ever got hacked and Lex Luthor or someone else used this? They could take down the whole League with this information, some of them instantly and leathally.

He didn't exactly make a plan for himself, after all.

Diana points out that, if this were anyone else, they probably would have taken them in.

Clark isn't happy about that. Sure Bruce left got the cave and could probably start the Contengencies on them if they went there, but if he wanted to use Kryptonite on Clark, he would have just pulled out the piece he keeps in his belt before he left. He didn't.

But they do need to discuss it, so Diana Prince and Clark Kent go to Wayne Manor, and get ready for a very long, very emotionally taxing conversation.

5- the end result of the conversation is this:

The plans remain, but only written on paper, in secured cases, to be locked deep in the batcave, fortress of solitude and wherever Diana's personal base is. The key code for these are to be decided and only known to Nightwing, the one person they all trust with it.

(Dick answers the phone by saying he better not be asked to solve Bruce's emotional distant and paranoid problems again, he's got plans tonight already. After a moment of awkwardness, Diana laughs and says they did that part already, they have a different favor to ask of him)

Bruce has some unofficial suspensions placed on him for a while, the way a lower League member might be punished. However, these are only known to the three of them, since it could cause a lot of problems in the League if others knew about that, let alone why it happened.

After leaving, with a hug, Clark does not talk to Bruce outside of League meetings for a month, stewing and trying to work out his frustrations. Bruce swings back and forth from trying to figure out if he should, you know, take care of himself mentally because maybe this is a really unhealthy coping mechanism, and thinking it's all a bit overblown and maybe he should just buy a pie for Clark and bring it over so they can move on. Their friendship recovers slowly, but it does recover. Having each other's back against world ending threats helps

14. What is your OC's "villain song"?

now there is at least two answers for this, i have many many thoughts on the topics and i hope i can get em all out lmao

IM BETTER

i LOVE a good joker arc, some defining moment in a characters life that just breaks or changes them in some way, this doesn't fully happen for v but she stands on the precipice plenty of times.

namely the vdb debacle and when she gains control of the blackwall via songbird. (there might be more but it's been a minute since i properly played)

now what do these two instances have in common? netrunning/ hacking. this song (and others like it) always get me thinking about v getting lost in the power she holds with her quickhacks.

a cyberdeck wasn't even her first choice, she wanted berserk in combination with gorilla arms but viktor refuses to install them for her. she could go to a different ripper to get them obviously but he's the only doc she trusts and who won't rat her out to the authorities for having cracked soft. (this explanation is a bit underbaked i will admit) she also knows he's lowkey right, she cannot be trusted with that kind of chrome.

now one could argue that being able to kill people via command does more damage than a pissed off ape but maybe she can control herself better than vik gives her credit for. or maybe he's not too familiar with netrunning/ hacking.

there is also the aspect of v knowing exactly what happens when she uses a hack, she wrote the code herself. (i'm not saying she invented them but they are her own versions, either written from scratch or modified some way)

my favourite example for this is the suicide quickhack: v takes control of the target for a few moments, she has to raise the gun, she has to pull the trigger, she has to leave the person's consciousness before they die but not too early or they will flinch away at the last moment. she doesn't die if she stays too long but the repercussions can be dire anyway: she passes out, there is psychological damage etc. if the target is right and she executes it well it can be pretty fun though, sort of like playing russian roulette but without dying.

but to get back on topic: i LOVE the mental image of her just standing in the middle of a bunch of enemies, activating overclock to wreak havoc on them AND herself.

i also enjoy copy-paste - she makes herself an easy target for another runner just to pull this out of her sleeve and fuck them over so much more, she simply IS better.

this mindset is also reflected in her aversion to chrome, she doesn't need it or rather she doesn't want it. she is better than them, she is built different. now that is simply not true, she can tell herself that lie as often as she likes but she needs cyberware to keep up. (i actually have a background story for this, maybe i will even write it one day)

so she slowly begins to betray herself: she replaces her glass eye with kiroshis, she installs extra ram, she gets the reinforced tendons. these changes come slowly and her body is still mostly ganic by the end of the game but in quiet moments she hates herself for caving in and for enjoying it.

ultimately: power corrupts, nobody is immune to that.

any otep song tbh, since it's the band i chose to use for rotten (her band) and v turns into the worst version of herself when she's on stage. it's one of the reasons she decided to end the band in the first place, though everyone involved just thinks she was being asshole (they ain't wrong)

her whole band era was a double edged sword, on one hand she finally had a voice and was adored by some but at the same time she had never been more miserable. their songs are filled with her traumas and that puts her back into a powerless position, add the adrenaline of being on stage and you get a truly volatile concoction.

a rant/series of ideas

So I've posted these on SB before but to put it simply, the phandom is stagnant. The same ideas are repeated over and over again mixed up but too similar to tell apart. Over on ao3s dp crossover section I've noticed a ton of these stories are created after the author reads a prompt here so I figured I'd gather the posts I've made on SB and post them here in hopes those authors can see them. I'm just copy/pasting these so they will look weird as they were originally posted on SB and I can't be bothered to edit them.

So yall know how d.c. crossovers are really common. Well I just had a small idea to add to the list of why heroes don't usually kill, batman especially. Obsessions can help make ghosts and few people are more obsessed than villains, the heroes know this and don't want to risk powering up their rogue gallery more, especially since hell is real and as we saw with deathstroke/slade it's easy to make deals and return. Just another angle to add for those crossovers. Last thing anyone wants is a ghost/demon empowered joker running around.

We have tons of danny phantom dc crossovers but not a single one has Cujo join the super pets for adventures. This is a crime that should be rectified immediately. Best pup should be allowed to play with Ace and Krypto and fight animal crimes.

What aren't there any stories where danny is in the marvels zombies storyline, or dceased, or blackest night, or even the new dc vs vampires storyline.

Why are almost all horror stories about him being tortured when there are perfectly good zombie apocalypses he can fight in. I'd love to see danny wield a black lantern ring and be in total control because he's already dead and as such doesn't need to eat hearts to gain power.

I'd love to see danny get bite by a vampire only for them to taste what's basically deadmans blood. We need less secret sibling, torture filled, betrayal fics and more danny pulling a doomslayer and fighting trigons armies when he invades.

Pariah Dark pulling amity into the gz would have gotten international attention just like cannon. Something that's brought up but never really explored are meta humans rights clashing with the anti ecto laws, I'd love to see the various magic users testifying in congress, debunking the fentons beliefs that ghosts aren't people and as such deserve the same rights as everyone else.

Also I'd love to see walker put in control of arkham, blackgate, or Belle reve. He'd have those places on lockdown, and the thought of the joker trying to escape only for walker to toss him back in his cell is hilarious to me.

All these DC crossovers but not one shows an alternate danny in the justice lords, injustice, or crime syndicate version of the league.

I'm tired of rereading the same stuff, let me read about an evil crime boss danny or one who rules over the GZ like how the justice lords rule earth, or one that sides with superman after metropolis gets nuked. So many alternate worlds, timelines, and dimensions to choose from and they always pick the same ones.

Forget JLU, YJ, or TT let me see danny in the justice league dark apocalypse war movie as a trigon possed Dan Phantom and have him fight Darksied

The infinite realms is so underutilized in the dc crossovers, and just the phandom in general.

You have an entire dimension that can take you any when and anywhere you want/don't want and you don't use it to let superman meet his parents before krypton blows up, or any other orphan superhero for that matter.

Hell you don't have to save his family, you can set up a stable time loop where this meeting is what convinced them to send him to earth rather then any of kryptons dying colonies.

Have Pandora meet wonder women, I don't think I've seen anything more then a passing reference about her in any dc stories to date. The 4 armed ghost of a Greek Goddess would absolutely be something the Amazon's would want to meet.

I'd love to see more stories exploring the factions in the gz like make up a rivalry between the far frozen and Atlantis before the yetis died out and less stories about Lazarus pits being ectoplasm, and Danny bring the lover/secret brother to the entire bat clan.

Give me poison ivy possed by Undergrowth or the joker being terrorized by the box ghost because joker gas doesn't work on the dead. Hell weather wizard/ any other weather villain teaming up with vortex would be fun. Or have technus hijack brainiac/amazo, now that be a good threat.

Let's see Danny put on the helmet of fate and fight klarion because he's not at the same level as the cosmic forces of order and chaos rather then the gz being some super dimension that John "I sold my soul to 30 devils, 10 gods, an angel and a fae" Constantine is too scared to touch. Pariah was powerful, but he ain't Darkseid, Trigon, Child, or Nekron powerful.

Let's see more, superheroes deal with ghostly shit rather then Danny runs away/moves to Gotham for the 30th time. Like lets say the flash has to deal with Kitty and Johnny joy riding in Central city but he can't touch them or freakshow stops in Gotham and kidnaps Jason since the phandom is obsessed with making him a halfa or halfa adjacent. So much potential and none of it explored!

So, yall know how the phandom likes to make ectoplasm an emotional conduit. Where ghosts either can feel / feed on emotions and ectoplasm can have emitions without being a ghost, usually when talking about the pit rage Jason has in the DC stories. Well, let's roll with that and add the Emotional Entities that the lantern corps use.

If ghosts feed on emotions then the lanterns are basically walking snacks, if they sense emotions then the lanterns are walking flash bangs, and if ectoplasm can have emotions then let's have some ghosts get lantern rings simply because they are emotions given physical forms.

Also, yall know how the Danny defeats pariah and becomes king stories are a whole thing, why doesn't that apply to Dan?

Rant/prompt ideas done for now but I have so many more. Let's bring some life back to this half dead phandom.

Warnings: slight yandere??, joker, mentions of violence

John doe x gn reader relationship/random hc

Word count: 742

•your relationship with John is complicated to say the least he's very possessive and protective over you, it can be a bit stressful at times and you may snap at him a bit But make sure to actually have a chat with him about it it may not help but at least he won't take your snippiness as harshly (if you snap at him enough without any apologies your relationship can twist into something a lot darker)

•John would never want to lay his hands on you ever (unless you push him to his breaking point) John is a very broken man who lacks his own personal identity and so he tries to copy or act like people he looks up too (Bruce) or people he thinks you may like and Bruce is charming and dashing he doesn't hit his partners, so neither should he-

• he is easily manipulated into doing things for you (because he loves you), but don't get it twisted he will most likely figure it out for himself (hes not stupid) and depending on what you wanted him to do or how you treat him he may get angry and confront you, that is if it's been going on for long otherwise he'll probably let it slide a couple of times until he feels you've done it too much.

•John gets jealous very easily (as shown with Harley) if you even so much as look at another guy he gets jealous- he's unsure of himself a lot of times and so he doesn't know whether or not he should be jealous, he's just so worried you'll leave him for a better man (like Bruce) so he'll try and sabotage the other person if possible or he'll do things to try and keep your attention on him as much as possible.

•as much as I want to say a relationship with John would be sunshine and daisies it most likely wouldn't be, at his roots John is an insecure man with no real identity or ties to anyone he gets emotional very fast and your relationship could take a quick dive if you are not careful with how you speak to him you also have to confront him on things you don't like or he won't stop- but be gentle with him if you don't give him time to process he can react negatively and I doubt that's what you want

•if John really loves you he'll most likely become obsessed with you so prepare to never have space to yourself he'll want to spend as much time as possible with you and often times lacks the ability to process personal space, he likes to be as close to you as possible because he just loves you so much and wants you to feel his love.

•John is actually quite thoughtful (or at least he thinks he is) he'll steal- pick up quite a few things that remind him of you like teddy bears or cute little cards that talk about love maybe he'll even pick up a thing or two you've talked about to him before

•John often lacks the ability to correlate emotion with correct situations he may not know how to react at first if your sad and might even be a little insensitive about it

Try not to get upset at him. He's not doing it on purpose and genuinely wants you to feel better. He just has no idea how to go about consoling someone so it may come off as insincere. try correcting him carefully throughout the relationship and he'll slowly come to learn what to do and how to match your needs.

•John doesn't really care too much for what you look like; it's not that he doesn't have any preferences at all it's just if he likes you he'll find you attractive no matter what and he'll constantly bombard you with compliments in the beginning phases of the relationship he wants you to know just how badly he wants you.

•he constantly thinks of you even when you're not around whenever he's off doing something or more likely you're out doing something he'll often find himself wondering what you're up to and if you're doing okay

john isn't afraid to hurt or threaten someone for you, he will try and refrain from doing so if he knows you will react badly but if push comes to shove he's not afraid to break a few necks. he's sure of himself , he knows you most likely won't connect the dots because in front of you he acts sweet (save for the few unsavory times he gets upset) so he thinks you won't suspect him. If you do it's best you just keep it a secret or try to mention it in the most gentle way possible— he'll of course lie and say it wasn't him! Or that he didn't mean to! Don't push him on this subject he'll become irrational trying to reassure both you and himself that he was only doing what was best for you he'll manage to convince himself of this and if he gets really upset he might threaten you he'll feel bad about it later and apologize a million different ways hoping that you'd forget about it (you wont)
