“Go to bed, Peacock.”

A digital alarm clock flashed the current time with soft light, 2:45 am. Next to the drawer it was set upon laid one of Filia’s party guests, Painwheel, who was the source of the gruff voice demanding Peacock to shut up.

Hours before this, Filia had invited some of her closest friends over for a sleepover, all while ignoring Samson’s irritating comments about how childish the idea was. They all had a wonderful time yelling to their favorite songs on karaoke, yelling at dumb actors in sappy movies, and yelling at each other as the pillow fight was started. They were a loud bunch in general.

After they had consumed all the snacks, the girls had settled into bed at around 12 am. Painwheel took the bed, having back problems she shouldn’t have been sleeping on the ground, but Filia gladly gave it to her and cuddled up to Squigly on the ground in a sleeping bag, right across from Peacock and Marie.

Most of them had no trouble sleeping, especially after the chaotic events that happened just beforehand. Most did not include Peacock.

“Okay but am I wrong?” Peacock whisper hissed back, not bothering to sit up and see if Painwheel was even still awake.

“Am I wrong.” She reiterated once more when she didn’t get an answer, causing Painwheel to groan in frustration and squeeze the pillow over her head. Eventually she sat up, almost flinging the covers off of herself.

“It is 2 am!” Painwheel exclaimed as quietly as she possibly could as not to wake the other girls in the dark bedroom. “Don’t you have an off switch? Some people want to sleep!”

“Actually I’m okay with staying up late with my thoughts.” A small voice announced.

“We know, Marie. But at least you do it quietly.” Painwheel’s red eyes squinted over to where Peacock was laying, who merely shrugged from under her sleeping bag. “Instead of telling everyone your freaky paradox..” She struggled with her words, spluttering a bit before lifting up her hands in defeat and whisper shouting “-stuff!”

“Hey, are you guys awake too?” A tired yet interested Squigly pulled the attention over to herself. She was sitting up neatly in her sleeping bag, which alarmed the other girls. They never heard or saw her move.

“Yeah, Painwheel is being really loud though.” Marie responded casually, the only person who wasn’t surprised by the zombie’s sudden interjection.

“Peacock started it!”

Giggles came from all sides of the room, quickly follows by hushing over each other, then more giggles. By now Marie and Peacock had sat up as well, and Painwheel moved down to the floor to set next to the other girls.

“Hey, isn’t it a school night?” Marie pointed out as the quiet laughter died down. “We should probably sleep.”

Peacock pat her friend on the back, her metal smile shining slightly. “Silly Marie, skullgirls and ASGs don’t need to go to school!”

“Oh, right. I forgot.”

The now fully awake girls started to converse between themselves at normal volume, laughing over tiny remarks and things that would normally be stupid if they weren’t slap happy with tired. The alarm clock changed silently as the hours went on, almost going completely unnoticed, save for the host of the party.

4:06 am. Filia stared at the clock with desperation in her eyes, before groaning silently and shoving herself further into her sleeping bag once again.

“This was a mistake.” Samson growled quietly.

“I know.” Filia whimpered exhaustedly back.

If someone asked Eraserhead if you were his favorite student he would laugh in their face.

No, that answer was a firm no.

You were annoying, constantly going against his word, and generally a nuisance in class.

On your particularly annoying days, you were worse than Denki.

But, if someone asked you if you were Eraserhead's favorite student you'd reply without a doubt!

It was almost funny the way the two of you would bicker with one another.

Aizawa seemed to pick up on the fact you were mostly doing it to waste time so the class would end faster

Especially because he caught Denki and Mina urging you to keep the bickering up to make his class more entertaining.

Half the time he wanted to fail you out of spite, but he couldn't deny that even with all the nonsense you were sharp as a tack.

A's and B's always marked your papers, never falling behind.

Your grades were up there with Iida and Momo's.

Plus you had amazing heroic potential.

In any training, you were the first to try to focus on saving the citizens and focus on the villains second, which was admirable.

You didn't show up to class one day and it felt like the slowest class of his life.

Apparently, you had the flu, at least that's what Mina told him when she asked for extra papers for you so you wouldn't fall behind.

"Tell her to get lots of rest and stay hydrated."

"I will Mr. Aizawa. I'll tell her you were worried too."

"Mina don't-"

"Bye Bye!~"

Aizawa sighed, it was too early for this type of headache.

every time he calls he always greets you with "lunch! together! you and me! now?" like yeah toshi we call the same time every day, ofc we're gonna have lunch now, you silly goose

you really like that once he gets settled in his private school room that he trusts you enough to decompress and eat in his small might form, it took a lot for him to allow you to see his small form the first few times but now it's normal

likes to make you lunch on random days and leave little sticky notes with cute messages and words of encouragement and, in turn, loves when you make him lunches too ((kinda makes his heart squeeze and he gets really smiley. it puts him in a great mood))

listens to you rant about work and offer advice on how to handle annoying coworkers

sometimes brings you around the school and all the kids love saying hi to you and asking about your day

the only way this man calls is by unintentionally butt dialing you

doesn't know how technology works

he can text but he has no idea how to facetime you on purpose

his fingers are so much bigger than his phone so he accidentally hangs up on you like three times

the type to only show his forehead

after a few weeks, he'll get the hang of things and actually know what he's doing but until then you have to be patient

likes to call when he's getting ready to sleep so he's sitting up in his bed while a book open on his lap

he's much more relaxed at night and talking to you helps him unwind

he's so soft at night too, he'll be very sweet but don't tell anyone or he'll gaslight you

you'd think all he talks about is wanting to surpass all might but he's changed his tune after,,, yknow almost dying to that crazy strong nomu and being sent to the hospital

loves to talk about shoto and praise his accomplishments to you as if saying "that's my son, look at how well I raised him" ((even tho you're sittin there like 🤡 okay buddy))

ERASERHEAD

Face times you when his "cat misses you" yeah okay aizawa it's definitely your cat huh

Tells you about his classes for the day, mostly complains about his 'horrible' and 'bothersome' students.

You listen intently to his complaining, but you know he adores his kids till the end.

He’s secretly a very proud teacher.

So far your favorite students to hear stories about are Kirishima and Denki

Their stupidity never fails to make you laugh.

The call always ends with him softly whispering, “come over.”

He always asks you to bring snacks and your fine ass booty.

You always laugh in delight and promise you’ll do both

he trusts you to talk him down and reassure him that he’s a good hero and he’s a good boyfriend ((which he is idk how he doesn’t see it))

Sorry, if you want to talk to him it's mostly you facetiming him.

He doesn't want to be a bother no matter how many times you tell him he wouldn’t be

Plus that seeing his gorgeous face is always a bonus.

He’d always flush red and mutter something about you being a tease.

When he gets more comfortable he calls you in the early mornings, he wants to make sure you get up on time!

You’ll never get tired of hearing the gruff, quiet, “good morning love.” That spills from his lips like a prayer every morning.

He takes you with him as he gets ready for the day.

It’s like a tradition

Fuyumi is always first making breakfast when she greets you, then Natsuo who gives you a wink and a hey, and then Rei if she's around.

Shoto loves that you’re patient with them and greet them with an enthusiastic "good morning!!"

When breakfast is ready that’s when he has to go. Breakfast and meals are labeled ‘family time’ by Fuyumi

He says goodbye and you promise to call him when you get off of work

You do so without fail every night and he loves you for it.

He didn't know you well, he was older around eighteen

Toby was sent on an undercover mission and was currently working behind a counter at some gas station convenience store.

He hated his job, but in order to keep an eye on his target, he had to work there.

Toby worked late nights and was quite surprised to see a teenager as young as you walk through the door.

You didn't greet him, face buried in a hoodie, but he swore he heard you let out a soft 'meow.'

In fact, the sound kept popping up as you walked through the store. It was then he noticed the neck tics.

A hard snap of your neck and a little yowl of pain following after.

Toby understood that pain.

Another ring of a bell and a young man walked in, looking impatient.

He barked at Toby to get him a pack of menthols, throwing money on the counter.

Toby grumbled, his own neck snapping in response to your tics. He handed the man a pack.

"Have a nice-no please- day," Toby muttered, interrupted by a vocal tic, and the man gave him such a dirty look, one that clearly labeled him a freak of nature.

The man marched out without saying thank you. Behind him, you were waiting in line.

Your arms were full of ramen and candy, looking eager to buy the food and leave.

"Just this-Mrrrrow- Please," You hummed and you felt your cheeks burn when he didn't comment on the tic you had.

"Sure-Mrrrow- no problem." He blinked harshly nose scrunching up, his own tics working off your own.

You titled your head, ear meeting your shoulder with a small snap, a shy smile forming on your features.

Toby thought you'd frown, yell at him for seemingly making fun of your own tics, but you didn't.

"Thank you!" You handed him the exact amount of change, your eyes narrowed reading his name tag, "Have a good-fuck off-night Toby!"

"Have a nice night..." Toby responded following your eyes, "stay-mrrow-please no- safe!"

"I will!"

For once in his life since falling victim to The Operator, he really hoped you make it home safe.

To say Liu would kill for you was an understatement.

You had both met when he was squatting in an abandoned building while he was looking for his brother.

Well to say Liu met you first would be incorrect, it was Sully who greeted you first.

The brash alter was ready to kill you at first, but noticing your age made something in him made him hesitate.

Sully knew the twinge of hesitation was from Liu, the urge to make you a younger sibling replaced any urge he had to kill you.

The alter never wanted to do anything to make Liu upset so he reluctantly switched out of the body.

You were terrified of the man who came in covered in stitches, especially when he began to dissociate right in front of your eyes.

He blinked slowly, and when Liu came to front the body, he was smitten with the child immediately.

"Hello...I'm sorry if I scared you." He spoke tenderly bending down to your height, "what are you doing here all alone?"

"I ran away." You whispered, tongue clicking against the roof of your mouth, "Fuck off! Sorry! I mean- fuck off! I like your stitches!"

Your body seemed to curl in on itself like you were trying to fight off the urge to curse like it was hard for you to get your words out.

"It's alright, take your time-"

"Tourette's! I have it! I'm s-sorry." You breathed out suddenly, blinking rapidly.

"You're fine." He smiled sadly, "I have dissociative identity disorder."

"What's that?"

"I have multiple personalities, the man you met earlier. His name was Sully." Liu explained, holding out his hand, "Do you have a place to go?"

"No..." You shook your head,

"I'll take care of you."

From then on Homicidal Liu became your big brother.

You both saved each other that night.

The both of you never went out in the daytime, only night.

Sometimes Liu would take you out, other times Sully, who you considered another brother all on his own.

There were times you'd stop at a convenience store, and people would point and whisper at the both of you. Liu didn't care if it was about him, but when those harsh comments were directed at you, it was a whole other story.

If Sully was fronting he'd threaten them and then proceed to beat them to a pulp while you cheered happily.

If it was Liu, he'd smile tensely taking you by the shoulder and steering you out of the situation quickly.

He'd tell you to wait outside then proceed to beat them to a pulp, but you knew what was going on and it made you feel warm and cared for, for the first time in your life.

He didn't quite understand how or why Jay brought you along to find Alex but here you were.

His little cousin, you couldn't have been older than fifteen.

Tim brought it up to Jay once, why you were with them and he remembered his friend sighing.

Jay explained that you had nowhere else to go, you were kicked out of his Uncle's house and he was the next best option.

That's when Jay told him you had Tourettes, honestly, Tim hadn't even noticed, then again he didn't spend the most time with you.

However, he did do his research on the syndrome. If you were staying, he would be learning.

Tim didn't want to accidentally offend you in any way.

He was forced to watch you when Jay went out grocery shopping and you didn't want to go along.

Tim assured Jay he'd watch you, God knows why, but he did.

The both of you didn't talk for the first twenty minutes, he only noticed you blinking rapidly every once in a while.

You wrung your hands together letting out a low whistle, face twisting before relaxing.

After another round of rather harsh blinks, you sighed, "sorry...my tics get worse when I'm nervous."

"No worries kid." Tim waved you off, "I don't mind. I'm sorry I make ya nervous."

"Not your-" Another high whistle, "fault."

Tim licked his lips, he was about to offer you a cigarette, it's what helped calm his nerves but then he remembered you were barely fifteen.

"What usually helps calm them down?" He asked out of pure curiosity, hoping you weren't offended.

You weren't and you crossed your legs over one another on the bed, "um...sometimes it helps when I focus hard on something I like doing. On a good day."

"Well, what do you like to do?"

You fiddled with your fingers, letting out a low hum as your neck twitched to the side. "I like to play cards."

"Wanna play a hand? I'm a mean poker player."

"Poker?"

"Come here I'll teach you."

When Jay came back to the motel to see both of you playing poker, he was surprised.

You were focused, peering over your cards, a pile of what seemed to be coins all on your side of the room. "Hi, Jay!"

"Uh? What's happening guys?"

"I'm playing poker! I'm winning!"

"Don't teach my cousin to gamble!"

"Hey, not my fault they're a natural."

The woods were isolating, that was a fact.

He felt that loneliness every day, but he had to stop Alex and that was a fact.

His world stopped momentarily seeing a young child laying face down in the mud, blood pooling around their head.

Brian thought for sure they were dead, his heart clenched uncomfortably in his chest. Who would just kill a child and leave them there?

He walked over, mask off, gently flipping you to the front. There was a giant gash in your head and both eyes seemed to be swollen shut.

But you were breathing.

Brian hesitated before nervously picking you up in his arms and taking you to his makeshift shack.

He rested you on his thin mattress and cleaned your wounds. He trickled water down your throat and slipped his mask back on for when you woke up.

It took about two hours and the teenager awoke with a gasp for air, their body locked up letting out a plethora of 'fucks' all in a row.

As they came out of their tic attack, that's when they noticed Brian's presence.

They let out a whimper and froze. He understood why his mask was frightening but he wasn't going to share his identity with a teenager.

"W-where am I?" you sputtered hands gathering up his thin sheets.

Brian didn't respond. He only titled his head to the side. You looked around the small shack awkwardly.

"What happened to you?"

"I..." your brows furrowed together letting out a series of clicks in a row, as you did this your head kept snapping to the side. "Got beat up, for my Tourettes."

From underneath his mask, Brian frowned, "And they left you for dead?"

"I guess so."

"Did you see what direction they ran off?"

"N-North, t-towards the highway."

Brian stood up holding his hand out to you. You took it anxiously, "Let's get you home I'll take care of the others."

"Take c-care of?"

Brian only hummed in response, walking you back towards the direction of civilization.

He left you on the doorstep, and you gave him a soft and hesitant thank you.

Taking a detour in his mission shouldn't fuck it up too bad, plus he loved beating the shit out of teenagers who deserve it.

When Aizawa announced the dorm situation you seemed to be the most excited about the new living arrangements.

Your excitement surprised the teacher considering you weren't one to speak up in the classroom.

In fact, the young girl barely said a word to anyone in the class.

Hell, even Kirishima couldn't get many words out of you.

He wasn't even sure half of them knew you were in the class, people like Bakugou didn't even see you as competition.

However, your quirk wasn't anything to sneeze at, the ability to heal others was rare and always in high demand.

Although healers tended to forget about healing themselves when needed.

It was the third time you've fallen asleep during class when Aizawa finally decided to mention his concerns to you.

He called your name in front of the entire class, asking you to stay behind after class.

That was clearly the wrong move because all heads turned to face the girl in the back corner.

Aizawa definitely cringed when he heard the whispers, and saw you look down in shame.

"Who's the extra?"

"I always forget she's in this class."

"So quiet."

"She's more invisible than Hagakure."

He watched from the front as her head landed on her desk. He could practically hear Present Mic scolding him for his lack of care.

"Class dismissed before I expel all of you."

That cleared the classroom out pretty quick.

"I'm sorry for calling you out like that. I realize that it probably wasn't the best thing to do."

You only nodded walking up to his desk with your books, "Am I in trouble?"

It was then he realized the bags under your eyes were just as bad as his own. Your hair was a mess and your uniform was unacceptably wrinkly.

"Not at all. Sit." He motioned to the desk in front of him, you nervously slid into it.

He took a breath trying to channel the kindness Present Mic always seemed to show with the students, "Think of this as a wellness check."

"Wellness check..." Your voice wavered, "but everything is fine! I'm well, super well, in fact, I would say I'm plus ultra well!" You rambled like you were fighting for your entire life.

"Okay slow down. You're making me exhausted, you're not in trouble. I just noticed you've been falling asleep a lot in my class. You don't seem...well."

You flushed again, eyebrows furrowing, "I...I haven't been sleeping well. Family troubles..."

There it was, the truth.

"Anything I need to report?"

"No!" You sputtered shaking your head rapidly, "no just had an argument."

Aizawa didn't press but he would be talking to Nezu about his concerns.

"Look. I understand but if you want to be a pro hero you need to get a good night's sleep. Don't." You opened your mouth to protest, "Hold on."

He watched you furrow your brow as he pulled out his sleeping bag.

(Thank god he just washed it)

"Take it and go sleep."

"But-"

"Now. In the corner."

"My class-"

"It's Present Mic's, he'll understand. Now go catch up on sleep."

"Thank you, Mr. Aizawa..."

He may not be great with words or feelings but seeing you asleep and getting some much-needed rest, he suddenly saw a young version of himself.

He'd make sure you didn't end up like him though, in any way he could.

He only calls you when he wants you to come over

Always asks in a voice that's sarcastically whiny, acting like he was begging you.

Although you knew you really didn't have a choice.

The league definitely knows who you are considering you're over there so often.

They only let you over cause Dabi would leave the League if they so much as yelled at you.

Agressivley Protective of you

Plus you fucking hated Endevour and that was enough for them.

Shigaraki hates you, saying you distract Dabi frim his work, and Toga adores your company.

Those are the only two who you've ever really interact with.

Calls usually go like this:

"Come over Doll."

"I can't tonight I have work."

"I'll burn down your work so you don't have to go."

"DABI THAT'S ARSON!"

"I've literally killed people, you think I'd draw the line at arson?"

You ended up coming over only adding to his inflated ego.

SHIGARAKI

Calls you while simultaneously playing video games.

Says doing both helps him to destress.

"I can think of another way I can help you destress.~"

"What the fuck are you talking about? Why are you taking off your shirt- This is a face time call-"

Doesn't understand much to your disappointment and goes back to ranting to you about how dumb his cohorts are.

Absolutely, tries to hide you from the league so you talk mostly at night, or whenever he's alone.

You may agree with his ideals, but you weren't a villain and had no interest in joining the league.

He was surprisingly fine with that,

He'd use the excuse that your quirk (If you have one), wasn't good for battle.

But in reality, he didn't want you to get hurt, which is another reason why he hides you from the league.

He doesn't need you to be considered baggage, or a bargaining chip for other lowly villains if you were captured.

Sometimes you'd hop on a game with him and you'd both play.

He loves watching your facial expressions change depending on what happens in the game.

Especially loves when you rage, thinks it's so hot. You have the mouth of a sailor when you're mad and it does things to him he can't begin to describe.

You were the only normal constant in his life and if he lost you he'd tear the entire world apart.

OVERHAUL

he generally enjoys being in your presence most of the time however he refuses to be with you when you're sick, no exceptions

like man is really wearing a half plague doctor mask do you really expect him to enjoy being around sick people

while he isn't physically with you, he facetimes you from another room and just talks to you that way

and while it makes sense to think that bc he isn't physically with you = he doesn't like you, it's quite the opposite

he spams you with calls until you answer and constantly asks how you're feeling, he needs to know you're okay

it does get annoying after a while because hello you're trying to sleep here so don't hesitate to tell him to calm down because he will

and then he'll act like "it's whatever it's not like I want you to live or anything, see if I care"

if he's down bad enough, he might just make your favorite soup but don't outright ask for it bc then he'll go out of his way to,,, not make it

he's stupid and mean like that

sends in his henchmen to deliver you food, and if he's feeling extra he might send them with an extra box of tissues and a handwritten letter somewhere telling you to "hurry up and feel better <3"

he misses you :,)
