I kinda wish that Bruce adopted Conner from the young justice tv show.
Half of Connors problems are because he had no one teach him emotional maturity and because he had no adult in his corner in an new and scary situation.
Sure, he had his friends, but most of them left and the one person that was always there was in love with the idea of him.
Like people look at him and think 'why are you acting like that? Shouldn't you know better?' To the guy with the live experience of a week old child.
Feeling emotions can be scary for someone who always had them and didn't just 'snap' into reality like him. Reacting in anger is something most kids do when they are overwhelmed.
(Just to make things clear. Emotional Maturity does not equal intelligence and bodily maturity)
Anyway. I choose Bruce because he is the one most likely to understand the Situation.
Because as hard as it sounds, Conner would be considered a child created from Rape and expecting Clark to take care of him would be cruel on both of them.
Anyway, Bruce parenting Conner would also be fun, simply because of Dick.
Like he'd absolutely expect his friend to call him big brother. It doesn't matter that he is a few heads bigger than him and build like a brick wall. The worst thing is that Conner would call him that after a few weeks. Most likely after dick nearly got hurt on a mission.
Conner as batfam member makes me happy in a way.

Can I ask for your opinion about Kon's relationship with Dick?
People normally think about Tim and Kon when I ask their opinion about Robin and Super Boy
Maybe because I got introduced to Kon(then Conner) thru Young Justice, but when I hear it, its always been Dick and Conner
But I can see why they only think about Tim and Kon, because of the comics and all. Hell I'm not even sure if Kon and Conner have the same backstory, so I'm very confused
It's just, nobody talks about their relationship, like at all, and I get so curious the more I see Dicks interactions with the other supers in the kent family, and then I compare that to the lack of content about Kon and Dick regarding their relationship
oh man I get so confused with Young Justice tv show vs comics. It's insane the overlap. I saw Kaldur in Teen Titans (2016) with Damian and felt so bewildered why Dick and Kaldur didn't know each other before I realized - different universes. It's still weird and offsetting every time I see Kaldur though. Same with M'gann in Titans (2016) comic.
I really enjoyed Dick and Connor dynamic in Young Justice. The dynamic though! The cackling little maniac who's half his height is somehow the saviour of the most stoic man with some of the biggest daddy issues with the nicest man on earth.
In the comics, Conner kinda hero-worships/is a little intimidated by Dick

Teen Titans (2003) Issue #33
"I feel like I'm hanging out with my best friend's brother...and I can't say or do anything right."
Tumblr media
Teen Titans (2003) Issue #33
The other time in the comics, Dick shows up with the Titans because someone's Conner trying to calm down has become a big problem for civilian safety.
They have a confrontation where Dick wants to take them down but Conner thinks she can still be saved.
Tumblr media
Superboy (1994) Issue #81
It's always interesting for me to read Nightwing in younger heroes comics because of the way he's written. Like here for instance, he effectively took control and deescalated the situation but it's from Kon's point of view so it also feels like Dick is taking over Kon's jurisdiction. Yet at the end, the way the scene progresses, this feels good. The way Nightwing is seen through Kon's eyes is like an untouchable figure who's just so good at everything and in control of stuff. Yet this moment, there's a softer quality to him than when he came in, giving the sense that Kon has earned Nightwing's respect, the respect of someone he views untouchable. And that's a good feeling. The subtlety in this was great.
So I feel like you can go two way with Kon and Dick. The first is the Young Justice way where they're sort of the same age vibe.
youtube
I miss this dynamic!
The second is the comic way where he hero worships Dick (as everyone does). I don't like how they don't have a lot of interactions together given how close Dick is with the Superfam. But also Kon and Clark don't get along that well either so I guess it makes sense that Kon wouldn't be around Dick as much simply by way of missed opportunities. There should still be a lot more though.
Personally, I love Conner and Dick. They fight but they respect each other and they treat each other on equal terms. They're fun!

Reckoning with the long shadow of TV dads on Fathers Day
As a longtime TV critic, I have written a lot of pieces about dads and television for Fathers Day. Some of them have felt a bit contrived, like this piece on TVs Dumb Dads, which is an evergreen subject; television loves taking characters who actually have the most agency and power in society and making them look vulnerable for storytelling purposes.
But TV’s relationship to the subject of fatherhood and parenting is far more complex. I’m much prouder of this piece I did five years ago on how I mostly learned about being a father from watching characters on film, TV and theater.
A sample: “My own father isn't with us anymore, and I loved him a lot. But he and my mother split before I was born, and during my formative years, it was mostly me and Mom against the world. Any sense of what it might feel like to have a father close by came from the first sitcom with a father who felt like he could live in my world: James Evans on Good Times. These days, when TV shows like Black-ish and Queen Sugar offer lots of different takes on black family and fatherhood, it might be tough to imagine how rare and important it was for a young black kid to see Good Times in 1974.”
Hear the NPR story by clicking here.
After raising four kids of my own, I’ve learned that fatherhood is such a big job, it’s tough to find one portrayal on the small screen that does it justice. In the real world, it’s a job defined by trying to provide everything your children require to have the best life possible. It means knowing when to encourage their passions, meet their needs and satisfy their desires and when to save them from their own excesses, inexperience, lack of judgment or impatience.
It means soaring when they succeed and feeling crushed when they fall short. It also means understanding that your own actions always serve as example and model – it’s up to you whether that conduct is something to emulate or avoid like a cautionary tale.
On the subject of fathering and TV, I also like an essay I wrote for IndieWire a few years ago; basically, a slightly different version of the piece I did for NPR. Here’s an abridged version of that essay below.
And have a Happy Fathers’ Day.
Tumblr media
“For a long while, I thought most married couples were like Rob and Laura Petrie in “The Dick Van Dyke Show”; sleeping in two twin beds separated by a nightstand. So when I saw John Amos as James Evans Sr. on the legendary sitcom “Good Times,” I felt like I finally saw a dad who was something like the other fathers on my block, and something like the dad I could have had.
Yeah, he was often angry and threatened corporal punishment WAY too often for my tastes, especially back then. But he worked hard, loved and valued his kids, encouraged them to get educated and take advantage of every opportunity and wanted nothing more than for them to do far better than he ever would. It wasn’t just that James Evans was black; it was that he was a black man whose primary goal was taking care of his wife and kids. All these years later, I’ve seen other TV dads who also taught me lessons.
John Goodman’s Dan Conner on “Roseanne” taught me how to make space for a strong wife and mom, but assert yourself when circumstances require.
Bill Bixby’s Tom Corbett on “The Courtship of Eddie’s Father” taught me the power of a parent paying attention.
I like fathers who show that being a dad takes effort and intention, like Michael Rapaport’s Doug Gardner on Netflix’s “Atypical.”
And even though Milo Ventimiglia’s Jack Pearson is modern TV’s best dad on “This Is Us,” I identify a lot more with his adopted son, Sterling K. Brown’s Randall Pearson.
Tumblr media
In the same way Randall, as a black man raised in a white family, had to learn what being black meant to him, I had to learn what being a father meant to and for me. In the same way he found and reconciled with his biological father shortly before his death, I reconciled mostly with my dad before he passed. And Randall has a goofy earnestness mixed with a capacity to work a little too hard on stuff that takes him outside the family, which I also – sadly — can relate to.
My four kids are mostly grown now. But seeing a dad on TV who still struggles, despite having had the best example of fatherhood in his life, means a lot. Even now.”

I HATE CONNER AND M’GANN TOGETHER SO MUCH!! like okay outside the whole im generally not fond of the TV show(tho i like the Jade stuff) she is so awful to him??
I’m genuinely flabbergasted that they wrote her violating his boundaries and fucking with his memories and still made them get married
RIGHT. like. in general i have a complicated love/hate relationship with the YJ cartoon, because while I think some things are very cool I also just straight up hate how they chose to adapt SEVERAL characters. But even putting that sort of stuff aside to just think about this within the context of 'plotline in the show' rather than 'adaptations of these comic characters'....
i think there was the potential for a really interesting story there with what happened between M'gann and Conner, but they just fumbled it so fucking hard. Because rather than actually making it into an appropriately addressed plotline about violation of consent leading to the end of a relationship... they have this fucking mess happen
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Young Justice: Outsiders #2)
Where ya know they were quite literally trapped in M'gann's mind unless he forgave her and... he ends up apologizing to her?
them getting back together and then getting married just. god. i haaaate it!!!!!!!!!! i hate it i hate it. if the writers wanted them to be an endgame couple perhaps they should not have written a plot where she tries to erase his memories of him being mad at her for crossing lines and abusing her powers, treated it like a big enough reason to breakup and cause tension btwn them for like a whole season, but then backtrack and act like 'nvm its not actually THAT big a deal teehee' later on. like maybe that wasn't a great idea guys!!!!!!!!
and then to put back on my comics canon brain, i think it's extra fucked up that one of the VERY FEW similarities between comics Kon & YJ cartoon Conner is ending up in a toxic relationship with a redhead from another planet that manipulates them. but at least Superboy '94—a comic RENOWNED for handling serious topics fucking horribly—manages to paint Kon & Knockout's relationship as an overall bad thing... meanwhile Conner & M'gann get fucking married.

Preliminary Poll
Kon-El / Superboy / Conner Kent
Tumblr media
Submission reason:
In his 90s solo he had so much personality and also problems and also style: leather jacket, born with an undercut and a piercing (he’s a clone). In Teen Titans (2003) (comic book) however. They literally cropped short his hair and gave him a costume that was literally just a t shirt and took away most of his original personality (which can be summed up as. Nothing matters! 😎 <- guy with depression who is also so silly and fun and brash and good hearted.). They retconned things - like originally he wasn’t even a clone of Superman & lex Luthor - and they didn’t even handle the retcon in a good way!!! They literally just did a mind control plot evil dna plot bla bla and then he died instead of confronting all the themes from his solo about. Depression and losing his friends and clone rights and also the grooming he went through. And this one’s minor but they gave him the civilian identity Conner Kent and now that’s most widely used even though the name Kon-el is a) much better b) was literally given to him in a gesture of familial goodwill by Superman after he proved that he had earned the S symbol (he literally didn’t even have a name before this he was just called superboy this is also very trans of him.). And also then in the young justice TV adaptation they based that version of Conner after the TT03 version of him which also literally agh further buried the 90s original version of him :( that tv show also had him and miss Martian have a weird toxic relationship and that too has bled back into comics a little (specifically the webcomic, which is dubious canonicity but still DC media) and it’s like :( :( :( AND THEN when DC rebooted in 2011 (this one im not as familiar with bc i literally don’t read new comics lol) the superboy they had was literally not recognizably him. And then in the next 2016 reboot he didn’t exist until like 2019. He’s been through a lot.

Snapper Carr. this was gonna be a post on how he seems cool but then I looked at his Wikipedia character bio and.....
This is what it says and I'm just reiterating it so if it's wrong its on Wikipedia
Becomes an honorary member of the JLA during his senior year of high school, did monitor duty and jack of all trades stuff. a guy named John Dough convinces him to betray the JL, John Dough ends up being the Joker. Leaves the JL. Family and him get kidnapped. Brain washed. Becomes a villain because after he left the JL no college would accept him and no one would higher him. Didn't go to jail and got a job at STAR labs because Superman. kidnapped (along with other humans) and taken to the Dominator homeworld, where they are forced to run a gauntlet of horrific deadly traps and experiments. Revealed he has the metagene (teleports when he snaps). went to alien insane asylum because he kept his eyes open during a teleport and saw the eternity of time passing (temporarily driven insane), escaped. accidentally imprisoned. then captured and tortured, during torture his hands were cut off so he couldn't teleport but later got hands again but now can't teleport. He got married and divorced. Turned into a Android by amazo. Almost driven insane AGAIN! kidnapped by demons and tortured for several days. suffered from severe depression. Thrown back in time in a loop where he was forced to relive the loss of his hands over and over again. Then left on an astroid for a bit. And after that Red Tornado was like 'hey I know a guy who could help Young Justice' and put him there.
It's doesn't end there but I think I'll have to read some of these comics because WTF! the JLA should give him therapy and a break. Is he ok?
(He also has a cat names starro and wears superhero themed graphic tees cool right?)
And he was in the YJ TV show hes a teacher, adopted Harper and Cullen and officiated Conner and Megan's (🤢 sorry I just hate them) wedding.

I dont like the young justice TV show
OK OK before you say anything hears my opinion on this TV show
the one on HBO max I mean
I hate it, it makes me want to rip my hair out
and here are some of the reasons why
First off, they put the whole ass wrong Robin in there
They put Dick in there?? No?? The Robin that was in the Young Justice was Tim Drake not Dick. He was never a member of the Young justice
Time, Conner and Bart where the three IfirstI members of the Young justice, they made the team, and by the time that Tim is Robin Dicks a full grown adult so why would he be in there??
Dick was a Teen Titan sure but a young justice member?? Hello?
I mean like a quick google serch can tell you what Robin it was and like i guess benifit of the doubt the robins are a bit confusing but they have Tim come into the show later on like he was the Robin after Dick? No? Where did Jason go? After Dick Jason was Robin, not Tim.
Tumblr media
Like for what reason (also why did they flatten his hair like that)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like thats Tim in the first Young justice comics
You can litrally just Google it and get the right one
Tumblr media
Okay i could talk about just the robins for hours but moving on to my second point
CONNER WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU
Why did they compleatly change him?? Why??
Not only did they give him worlds most boreing design but they also compleatly changed his backstory to??
Starting with the disign thing because thats my bigest ick this is what hes suposed to look like (what he looked like in his protraal in the comic books)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like look how cool that is with the Leather jacket and the belts all the color design, like you can get a pretty good grasp of his personality just based on his design, but what they did with him in the show...
Tumblr media
CONNER WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU
They just took out everything that made him a unique character, like everything
His entire personality was also changed witch i absolutly cannot stand. He almost acts like a wild animal in the show like for what reson did they need to make him the worst character ever in the show I hate it so much
Why did they change his whole backstory to?? Like he was made from super man and Lex Luthors DNA right?? Not in this show! He was made by like a cult in the tv show for whatever reson
They compleatly changed his character like compleatly and its probally one of the biggest resons why i dont like this show
but i guess ill give them points on actually putting in the right super boy because its the only charachter who was actually a member of the young justece
Third off, they goofed up Bart big time
Another backstory they almost compleatly changed.
They kept in him coming from the 31st century but he comes from like a post apocoliptic world?? Hello??
The TLDR on Barts actually backstory: He couldnt turn off his super speed abilities so his grandmother (iris) took him back in time to wally so wally could help him, since he grew up so fast he was hooked into VR so that he could mentally age at the same rate goofing up his fear responce and makeing him very impulsive.
The thing is the time that Bart goes back to is the time that wallys the flash, In the show Wally is still the kid flash
Witch is another point in of itself Wally was never a member of the young justice and the flash (barry allen) isnt suosed to be around
Why they changed what Robin and 'Kid flash' where in this tv show only to later introduce the correct ones is unknown to me i have no idea why they would do that.
long story short they put the wrong speedster in there but later put the right one in there only to goof it up
Tumblr media
Fourth off
why did they change arrowett like that?
They not only changed her name and the color of her costume (why??) but they had a weird side romance with Wally and her wich why AND they changed her whole ass name??? Her name is Cissy? Why did they flipin change that??
Last but not least
Where are wonder girl and seccret??
Wonder girl is important?? literally what?? Not only that but they took out secret to? Shes kinda important?
Someone please inform me if im wrong on them both not being there I didn't watch the whole show its mind melting
Tumblr media
That' s her and she made like three of four big plot lines in the comic series.
Small things i wont elaborate on for the sake of lenght,
Why was speedy there?
I hate what they did to Miss Martian
Why did they need to change the whole timeline for this show?
I could go off on this show for literal hours and how bad it is but thats just the top five reasons i might make another post like this
TLDR: I hate the young Justice TV show :)

Also, a big issue of the transfem Conner thing is that more often than not it caved into: "Anger issues man? He must be some repressed queer." which like... not only is it icky but also it took more from Young Justice TV Show Conner than actual comics Conner who is not only more aloof but way more melancholic than choleric.
thats so lame i just think she should be a trans girl because its cool as hell

Hay I've got a little interesting one: persona: (young justice TV series season 1) Conner has decided to actually try and take up a civilian persona after Superman showed the importance of maintaining one's identity. So after spending time with the Clark, Lois and Jon Conner create his own civilian persona: Conner Kent
1: what's Conner civilian persona personality like?
2: how different is Conner from superboy?
3: keeping to what the Kent men normally are dose Conner also adopt, even though it's hard, a mild manner personality with the civilian persona?
4: how successful is Conner in maintaining his civilian persona?
5: how believable is Conner at being a mild mannered normal person?
1. While Superboy (at least in this verse) is a no nonsense, quiet and straight to the point type who rushes into battles to defend those he cares about, Conner Kent does allow more words and slang to permeate a sort of laid back and chill persona that allows him to acknowledge and express himself around his peers without drawing too much attention
2. While Conner might seem more outgoing comparatively and more relaxed in his temperament, that’s merely him when he’s out with others and if anything a compliment to when he’s Superboy
3. He certainly would try doing so, usually via following Clark’s example in how the latter interacts with his co workers
4. Despite all odds and turns, Conner does fairly well blending in so it only takes the most steadfast and keen of all eyes to make comparisons between him and Superboy. Even then, he’s already gone to don his trademark t shirt doing his thing before anyone can even notice
5. Somewhat. One things for certain, he’s nowhere near as clumsy as Clark can be during some days at work so that factor is certainly off Conner’s table
Thanks for the ask @we-cross-universe-king-relate

Hello! I'm Hazel, and I have a lot of OC's!
This is for DC and Marvel!
(Particularly, for Mutants/X-Men in Marvel's case.)
I have some OC's (that I may add to in the future).
If you'd like to roleplay with me then you can message me. But first-
Some ground rules!
- I only do literate, no * or stuff like that (I'll write an example).
- I'd prefer it to be on Discord.
- I only write as my OC's. I feel very comfortable with them. You can be just canon characters if you'd like, I don't mind. If there are lots (like battles was stuff) in a scene, I'll do my best to help you. (I would prefer if you'd be a canon character though.)
- This is going to be a one-on-one roleplay. No groups, it's too chaotic for me and I'd get too overwhelmed otherwise.
- You have to be at least 18+ age range.
- No minors, because I will be doing dark themes, NSFW, and the like. And no, I will not make exceptions. (Please don't lie to me about your age, that's just fucked up and I'll immediately block you if you do.)
- You have to have canon knowledge of what we'll be roleplaying (that would be obvious lmao.)
- You have to put in just as much effort as me. It's frustrating when I come back to a two liner reply. Especially since I write A LOT. It would just discourage me. 50/50 is preferred. Don't force yourself to write if you don't want to (have health issues, feeling down in the dumps, ect. Please tell me if something is wrong of course.)
- If you have OC's, that's alright too. Just ask me before you randomly throw them in. I'll be showing you my OC's in advance before we start writing. Just know that I do still want you to control a canon character.
- COMMUNICATION IS KEY. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't be afraid of me either, haha. I just have to be firm. I don't mind talking outside of the roleplay too. It's always nice to make friends!
- And please don't ghost me, several people have done that and it just hurts. Tell me if you're going to be gone for a while, or if you want to change the rp, or you just need a break.
~•••~
What comics am I most comfortable/familiar with? No particular order!
Anything to do with (Comics and Animated mostly) Batman, Superman, Red Hood, Nightwing, Red Robin, Batfamily in general, Firestorm, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner), The Flash (Barry Allen, Wally West), Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), Booster Gold, The Riddler, The Atom (Ray Palmer), Green Arrow, Arsenal, Plastic Man, Superboy (Conner Kent), Deathstroke, Captain Cold, Mirror Master (Specifically from the animated movie Justice League: Doom), Deadshot, Justice League/Young Justice/Teen Titans in general...might add more.
Gambit, Cyclops, The Angel (Mutants: Mainly the comics and animated), Spiderman (Mainly the comics and animated), Daredevil (TV Show, Comics)...might add more.
Mainly for both, I can't list specific comics because that would be way too long. But I do like older works rather than some new stuff. Like the Green Lantern expanded lore about the galaxy in DC, as an example, where they bring back Hal Jordan.
Those are what I'm familiar with. If you also like these, then hit me up. We'd have to talk a bit before writing, such as your own limitations, boundaries, and the like.
Now, here's an example of my writing that involves one of my OC's.
~•••~
Valrel sighs as she crouches on the railing, arms bent on her knees as she looks down at the city lights. It's beautiful tonight, from up here at least. She'd just gotten done with a full sweep of the surrounding block two times, making sure everything is right as rain. She'd been planning this for a month, so it best work when the time was right. She'd kept track of all the potential threats, witnesses, and the people that live in this expensive apartment complex. From all walks of life, but they're all rich - particularly the ones on top. At the penthouse.
Flipping up and over the balcony railing above her, steps silent as she crouches again. The wind passes by, playing with her loose white locks as she forms water around her fingers. Flexing them, her eyes glow under her blue opaque visor - the water slips in under the crack of the locked glass door. Boom. Open. Using her other hand to slide it open, taking a step in.
She'd taken the precaution to loop the empty rooms camera for around 10 minutes. That's all she needs. Security is down around here. The residents did go on a nice vacation away from Blüdhaven, fortunate for her - not so much for them. They won't even notice anyways. Still, Valrel footsteps are silent as she makes her way through the roomy living room and to the home office, sliding in, she's quick to go to the safe and start with picking the lock with her powers. Staying alert. Nightwing might appear like he usually does. Not that she minds his presence...he's just distracting when she's doing something she deems important. Valrel huffs to herself, smirking lightly with amusement quirking her expression.
She won't say she doesn't have fun when he decides to come around.
~•••~
Of course, I'll write way more than that lol.
Maybe I'll add more to this post if I think of more. :]
See ya, feel free to message me if you're interested.

u are soooo right about t shirt kon and 90s kon like. everytime i see someone viewing them as separate characters/hating on one something in me dies. as someone who's read all his comics and loves him immensely...they are the same person! all his comics are bad unfortunately and he has good character arcs in both eras thats just the way it is. the true enemy imo is yj cartoon conner..
😭 i mean definitely they can be very different at times but like…not different enough to be unrecognizable(?). altho the retcons and stuff do a Lot to change things (esp the importance of ttk which undoubtedly changes a part of his character ) and to be fair my brain does do a lot with supplying my own hcs/reasons whenever i dont like a creative choice. and yeah, theres like a lot of bad and good in both eras 😔😔😔 i have sooooooo many problems w his 90s solo, but his overall character growth is so interesting, and while my problems with tt03 mostly lie w the writing i enjoy how he’s a tad bit more grounded. and like i said before i enjoy the 2009-2011 era a lot cuz i feel like the spirit of his early humor returned while still following that emotional arc that started in 2003.
a lot of the themes from 90s superboy maybe didnt reach the conclusion i wanted, but im at least glad that the struggle with identity and agency to become your own person outside of anyone’s control or regardless of what is dictated to you remained. it’s like The Main Theme for him or at least one of the major themes, i think. well its just one of the many things i like
honestly i think my favorite characterizations of him though would be the original young justice 1998 comics and the reign of the supermen comics (ROTS is just such a fun and wacky read like i love it sm), and then the boy of steel mini comic. maybe one day ill write a long ass fic about what i’d do with superboy and all the potential arcs his character offers🤷🏻‍♀️
but yj tv show conner? that’s a Completely different guy. i don’t remember much but i thought he was fine as his own character i guess. definitely Not the same character as comics!conner. but his s2 outfit w the gloves, the long sleeves, the cargo pants? mmmmm i love that shit

Have you seen the Young Justice cartoon? If you have, do you have any thoughts on it?
Ooh boy. That's gonna be a long one.
Yes, I watched the Young Justice cartoon when it first aired but I stopped after season 3 part 1 (yes, I didn't even watched part 2).
Let's just say I have mixed feelings about this cartoon. There are aspects that I like and some that I hate so f***ing much. So I understand people could love this cartoon, especially people younger than me that discovered it when they were teenagers themselves. This is just my opinion and point of view on it.
More explanations under the cut:
For context, when I watched the first two seasons (in 2014), I was 22 and my only knowledge about DC was what I saw in the Batman, Superman and Justice League animated series from when I was a kid and Smallville when I was a teen. So I had limited knowledge about Young Justice (so not particularly influenced by the "it's better in the comics" stuff).
When I first watched it, all my friends told me that it was great. I thought it was good at best. Like I said good elements but also really bad ones. But it was at a time when we didn't have much decent DC content on TV so I still thought it was okay and enjoyable to a degree.
Then, a few years ago, I started reading comics. And then I joined a Discord rpg server to have some fun and I started to make my little research about Conner because I was looking for a new character to rp with and since I've always been a huge Lex Luthor fan, I thought "from all the characters in Young Justice, Conner's concept seemed interesting to develop I just think it was badly written". I read his wikipedia page... and let me tell you when I discovered Kon El I screamed. How was it possible to ruin a character that much? How could a reboot be so fucking wrong? How dare they remove all that was fun about Kon to make some random ass guy always brooding in a f***ing corner! And then I watched Reign of the Superman, and then I read Reign of the Supermen and then I read the Superboy run. And I was getting even more pissed. And then I read the Young Justice and Impulse comics...
And now I really REALLY hate that cartoon. Because we could have had so much better. Young Justice in comics is so awesome, Young Justice characters are so relatable and likable and I love them all when all I saw when I watched the cartoon was a bunch of terribly written teenagers, Teen Titans characters where they shouldn't be, interesting plots but always disappointing me in the end.
I understand that this cartoon is seen as one of the best shows DC gave us. But really, I didn't even watch the last season because I just think this cartoon is boring. They try so much to developp plots that goes nowhere, character cameos over and over again, plot twists that are just not that interesting in my opinion... I think they should've focused on the teens more. Less adults intervening. It felt as if they wanted to write about too much stuff and too many characters and couldn't decide on what was important.
Honestly, I just have too much to say about this cartoon and it's already so long. I'm so sorry for dumping this on you...
Only good stuff about that cartoon: Lex was okay (which is good because there isn't enough well written Lex). that episode with Bane helping the kids? Really nice stuff. Political intrigues (Queen Bee and all) were interesting and original and I liked it... ... Okay I just now realized that I think I only enjoyed the bad guys in that cartoon. 😅

Short A/N: I'm actually GlampireRockstar...I've been this profile since last year, my now ex bf and I broke up last year. I made this Tumblr and own it since day one when he wanted me to make him one. He can't take this profile cause I made it and built it with my imagination. He's such a jerk and I hope that bitch he's dating knows that this asshat doesn't care for others. I blocked him from my phone, got back my TV to cheer me up with videos and shows that I love, and took back my gaming consoles...yeah I was mad that day cause he's a cheater. I don't need him, being happy and single will be the best choice for me. I go by many pronouns like she/her and he/him, but I got a split personality that's they/them. I love people, though I love being friends with pride community members and straight allies. I don't need men or women, I got me...myself...and I.

▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
Hey guys, this is the fan-fiction I'll be posting here on Tumblr.
I got some concepts to do for my Injustice Short Story that'll be put on Ao3 later on in a few weeks.
With that said, let's get down to business and start with the plot.
I wanted to make names and describe better clearly rather than drawing them.
I have tendencies of using people's artwork and stuff that I forget to credit them for making them for their followers.
Since we know that fans wanted the Fearsome Five on YJ, I wanna make this inspiration by using these shows: Teen Titans, Naruto, The Last Airbender, Ben 10, Young Justice, Boruto, Generator Rex, and The Legend Of Korra.
Since we got the DCAMU designing versions of the Titans and the Team, I wanna give credit to Deviantart for having talented users create their own versions of our favorite heroes and villains from DC Comics to their original characters in animated shows or doing comissions as some requests for watchers on the website I love to death.
Onslaught is like the mercenary group for the Council of Light, the Shadows, and the League of Assassins.
Incursion is the fearsome squad for the Brotherhood of Evil, the Hive, and the Legion of Doom.
I couldn't find me a villain group name this year and last until I found the word "Incursion" on Google Dictionary.
It worked well for the enemies of the Titans and it fit perfectly.
Going to how I made my AU versions of these heroes and villains...Fandom, Wattpad, AO3, Tumblr, Patreon, and Deviantart were the best options I can get.
I couldn't find any names for four more characters to play as heroes...still can't even after randomizing them a lot, so I did a surname randomizer and name finder for all ages.
I know there's four known people within a group, such as the Elemental Benders (Aang, Katara, Zuko/Sokka & Toph/Suki), Team Avatar (Korra/Opal, Bolin/Wu, Asami & Mako), Team Alien Force (Ben, Gwen, Kevin/Cooper & Rachel/Julie), the Proto Squad (Herve/Rook, Lula/Ester, Sam & Kai), Team Seven (Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke & Hinata), the Next Generation (Boruto, Sarada, Kawaki & Sumire), the Hong Kong Gang (Circe, Squid, Cricket & Tuck), and Team EVO (Rex, Claire, Noah & Annie) for example...I want to make this happen.
I found my new props due to reading so much QuoteV fan-fiction stories and doing random voting quizzes online.
I want each original character to have some qualities and powers from each character.
The first one will be very good and simple...in my opinion.
The first OMC is based off of Sasuke, Kevin, Cooper, Zuko, Sokka, Mako, Rook, Kawaki, Tuck, and Rex.
You get mechanic skills, unstable mutations, crimson eyes, gear shifting, body modifications, weather manipulation, matter absorption, curse marks, corpse warpaint, advanced cars, rap music, hip hop, street fights, platinum bands, emo clothing, white bandages, rebellious acts, and other edgy stuff that a bad boy can do to with their edginess and being a former villain that redeemed himself as a good guy with rebellious tendencies.
His romantic interest will be Raquel Ervin aka Rocket I, because I believe this Beautiful Black Queen deserves better and my OMC respects different races; he hates people who's racist, discriminating others for their disabilities, and are phobic on pride community members; etc.
The first OFC is inspired by Asami, Sakura, Sarada, Rachel, Kai, Julie, Circe, Claire, Toph, and Korra.
You get some medic training, healing powers, spiritual abilities, elemental bending, savage roasting, chi manifestation, ancient weapons, futuristic armor, rock music, heavy metal, vintage piercings, dragon tattoos, motorcycle racing, gothic makeup, grunge clothing, diamond claws, etc, everything that a tomboyish demigoddess can ask for as a warrior princess of the deities and a legacy that slays evil monstrous titans for Mount Olympus while being part of Camp Half-Blood.
We know Kaldur'ahm aka Aqualad II is queer/polysexual, I felt sorry for him when his crush Tula didn't return romantic feelings for him and understood that she loved Garth till her death on Invasion; I gave this OFC a background of pride with pansexual/bisexual to make these two fearless leaders not turn into straight allies; they still got vibes that make the same gender fall hard for them; she's half Amazonian (mother), Olympian (ancestor), and Human (father); Kaldur will be part Atlantean (mother), Lemurian (ancestor), and Human (father); etc.
The second OMC is based off of Naruto, Boruto, Aang, Benjamin, Herve, Squid, Noah, Sam, Wu, and Bolin.
You get a legendary seal, alien transformations, prototype watches, sacred runes, camera flashes, military training, royal blood, talented artwork, humble loyalty, steel chains, blaster guns, booster suits, nanotechnology gear, industrial music, hardcore punk, alternative clothing, shadow cloning, black ink, golden rings, bad attitudes, and much good guy stuff that makes him the most important person in the world and would always be the person that'll help others as a true hero.
This OMC is special and went through tough times; he's the romantic interest of Zee Zatara aka Zatanna, I think she'll be like the Hinata Hyuga to his Naruto Uzumaki, the red string of fate will thread around his pinky fingers and will lead them together as one; he's having the Green Lantern Ring of Willpower and the Omnitrix for Seasons 1-2 through the Ultimatrix for Seasons 3-4 will fit him well; he's part Human (father), Meta (mother), and Naljian (ancestor); Zee's part Human (father), Angel (mother), and Pralagean (ancestor); etc.
The second OFC is inspired by Suki, Opal, Gwendolyn, Ester, Sumire, Lula, Hinata, Katara, Cricket, and Annie.
You get some pure magic, cosmic energy, shy tendencies, timid behavior, super intelligence, athletic flexibility, hidden secrets, domino masks, scene clothing, neon lights, soul bonds, tarot cards, enchanted agility, chakra sensory, mystic charms, good luck, pop music, silver bells, electric dance, living totems, mana flowers, healing potions, elite skills, astral projections, alien heritage, spell books, etc, she's full of magic and is the most caring being in the world that'll likely be the best girl to have for a lover.
This OFC has been given powers and skills from the following paragraph above me; she serves as a romantic interest of Dick Grayson aka Robin I, she'll be the one who comforted him from his family loss and help him figure out that Bruce Wayne is Batman; Dick finds out that OFC is a heroine who's adopted by Selina Kyle aka Catwoman when her parents were kidnapped and taken away; I love when Dick got powers as Deathwing/Deadman II in the DC Injustice film; I will use that when he gets fully resurrected in the Lazarus Pits from Boston Brand aka Deadman I and Rama Kushan; she's half Anodite (ancestor), Human (father), and Magen (mother); Dick's half Ghost (father), Human (ancestor), and Vampire (mother); etc.
I'm re-editting things on a laptop, tablet, and smartphone...this is hard work for me.
Let's get down to this case for some necessary AU prompts and concepts...by the way Magen is Homo Magi, meaning "super humans born with magic powers".

I found outfits and edit them with filters on my other Tumblr page...from phone to laptop.
They're from that crazy Winx Club dream, I know their ages and order: Daphne, Aisha, Stella, Flora, Musa, Bloom, Tecna, and Roxy.
Pink = Nature/Plants, Red = Sound/Music, Orange = Light/Stars, Yellow = Weather/Elements, Green = Animals/Life, Cyan = Morphix/Water, Blue = Fire/Dragons, and Violet = Technology/Mind.
I'll be using them for a future keepsake later on in life, maybe for these heroines to tease their boyfriends and give these heroes a good show to watch as their girlfriends...probably so.
I know that these ladies will likely do some work and things, which leads for those chicks to get chased by their guys...like spending time in a hot tub to clubbing all night at a karaoke bar without their men there to keep their eyes out.
It's the life of wild girls and how bad they can be with these fellas.

Introdutions
Tumblr media
"Who are you?" I turn at the gravelly voice to see batman from Young Justice. This was just great. Seeing my family reach for their weapons I shake my head. No. Slowly they drop their hands but not their guard.
"Batman." I stated.
"What was wash the influx of energy?" His face is set on 'Neutral' like always.
"I'm Charlie, this is Jack, Castiel, Sam and Dean." I introduce pointing to them in turn. "Jack's Nephilim and Castiel's a Seraphim." I continued. "Sam, Dean and I are hunters." I watched as some of the YJ team stiffened. "We were after a coven of very old and powerful witches and got caught with our proverbial pants down. "
Cas shot me a look saying 'stop talking' but I shake my head. "Castiel, Jack, Sam and Dean these guys are the hero's of this world. Meet Batman, Robin, Superman, Superboy, Miss Martian, Aqua-lad and Kid flash. Robins human but trained by Batman who was trained by the league of assassins, they're kinda like the British Men Of Letters." That gains a few scowls but they are smart enough to not interrupt me. "Super-boy is Superman's clone but he's only half kryptonian. Miss Martian and Martian Manhunter are well Martian." I laugh at that. "Aqua-lad is Atlantean and Kid Flash is human but his DNA was altered due to a mix of lightning and chemicals." I finish looking at Batman.
"Charlie how do you know these... people?" Cas asked. I smile remembering the numerous hours I spent reading comics and watching movies about them before I left to help the Winchesters.
"In our world they're comic books and TV shows Cas. I looked up to them before Chuck called me to help you." I explain. "Jack can you open a door back to our world?" I ask, he did it before with the Apocalypse world.
"No. No I don't think so." I know he feels so useless. I smile at him, he cares so much for everything and everyone.
"It's ok. We'll find another way." I consol. "We are no danger to your world and will comply to answering any questions you require." Dean shoots me a look but I ignore it, we have to gain their trust.
"What are your surnames?" Batman asks in that monotone only he can use.
"Zele." I speak up.
"Winchester." The brothers speak up at the same time. Which is kinda creepy if you ask me.
"Kline." Jack replies glancing at me for confirmation he was doing the right thing, I nod my head.
"Novak-Winchester" I saw Batman raise an eyebrow behind his mask. "Angels don't have surnames, the name of vessel is Jimmy Novak and the Winchesters are my family so I made that my name." Cas stated simply.
"Hold up? Vessel?" I saw Conner ask, I shot Cas a look that said 'let me handle this.'
"An angels true form can't be seen by humans less their eyes burn out, so they need vessels to walk on earth. They can't possess them without the consent of the human and the human can kick them out at anytime. However Jimmy died years ago when Lucifer, more commonly known as Satan or the Devil blew up Cas' vessel which was re-built by Chuck who was God in our world before he became human and passed the title onto Jack." I saw the team gaping at what I just said all bar Robing, Batman and Superboy.
"So," Robin said, "you team consists of three trained humans, one angel and one god who was or is also a Nephilim?" I smiled he was so close.
"Not quite Boy Wonder, Jack isn't a god, he is God. He's still a Nephilim, biological child of Lucifer to be exact but he chose Castiel as his father and takes after his mother." I corrected, hell explaining was tiring.
"Why do all look like you've seen the world end?" Asked Superman. This was a question I'd rather not answer, we all had trauma but this was gonna open major wounds.
"Because we have. Sam's been stuck in Lucifers cage with him and Michael the Arch-angle and tortured, he also lost his soul for a time and lost all moral compass. Oh, he and Dean both lost their Mum too the prince of Hell Azazel and then they were dragged around by their ex-marine father hunting before Sam got out and went to school only to find Azazel killed his girlfriend Jessica." Sam actually had it the easiest.
"Dean has bore the Mark of Cain, been a demon, escaped Hell and been a vessel for a Michael from another world where the apocalypse wasn't stopped. Michael and his angels killed off nearly all of that world including the humans. We all went there as an attempt to stop him but when he can Lucifer got into our world Dean agreed to become his vessel to kill Lucifer but Michael took over Deans mind and made him do horrific things." I saw from there body language the hero's understood. They must've seen some shitty things too.
"Jack was hated by Heaven and hunted by angles and demons, led the effort against the war on Michael and lost people, he also had his grace stolen by Lucifer and was human for a time. Oh and though he looks like and has the mind of a 16 year old he's only 1 year old, comes with being Nephilim, they grow up as fast or slow as they like." That made a few of the hero's grimace. Guess hearing a 1 year old went through that was a surprise to say the least.
"Cas was hunted by Heaven and Hell, tortured repeatedly, fought in all versions of the apocalypse, became Lucifers vessel, fought both versions of Michael, had his grace stolen making him human, been a vessel for the leviathans, had his memories wiped, died and come back along with the rest of us and annoyed an ancient deity who control the Empty which is where angels and demons go when they die." Cas had had the hardest time out of all of us in my opinion.
"As for me I've been summoned by God, fought against the darkness with Sam, Dean and Cas, fought Amadeus who's a prince of Hell and fought in the war against Michael." I finish seeing all the hero's shell shocked even those like Batman and Robin who hid their emotions.
"Have you killed anyone?" I sighed, Superman had to ask that didn't he?
"We all have. In our there's not much choice, vampires can only be cured if they haven't fed, werewolf can't be cured, witches either bargain with demons or get power hungry and kill civilians and angels and demons both need vessels, we exorcise the demons we can but with angels and some demons we have to kill them meaning the vessel too. Then there was the time Jack lost control and killed people, we all have. Jack and Mary, Sam and Deans mother who was brought back by god's sister Amara led a effort to stop Michael which resulted in casualties." I see the look on Superman's face but the truth was the truth. "Those monsters kill people, same as every other monster in our world, sometimes we don't have a choice." I mumble the last bit as I remember pushing a knife into my brothers heart, a tear runs down my cheek.
"We need you to come with us." I hear protests coming from my family.
"We can't trust them Charlie." States Dean I glance at him then Cas and sigh.
"I'm not asking you to trust them. I'm asking you to trust me." I glance at Jack first, please trust me I pray to the Cas and Jack.
"I do trust you." Jack is the first to speak.
"Very well." Cas surrenders.
"Fine." I hear Dean groan.
"We have made a deal on less." Sam admits.
"Thankyou." I say, hopefully this doesn't bit me in the ass. "Let's go." I glance at Batman and nod.
In that second I know.
"We'll find our way home."
