I love Tumblr because nothing matters here truly. There are no influencers. Having followers doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a site where people post their sporadic thoughts and rb pretty pictures. Anyone who thinks any of this matters is woefully missing the point

#I joined tumblr for the aesthetics and now I’m here bc it’s the most low pressure social media to be on #Instagram is ppl’s highlight reel but Tumblr is where u see their pure thoughts unobstructed and I adore that #It’s very nice to have people to relate to and is def the main appeal to me but I don’t think there’s much more to it than that genuinely #Monetization on tumblr isn’t a thing and probably won’t be so it feels stupid to put more stake than necessary in it. Like you’re in the #Trenches over tumblr of all things. Embarrassing #I know chronically online people exist bc I have seen them in my or somebody else’s inbox but imagine waking up at 70 one day and the #Realization hitting u like a freight time that u wasted all ur time thinking tumblr. TUMBLR. This dying website. Has enough weight for u to #be sending anon hate or reviewing ppl’s blogs like they’re some kind of product. TOOK ME TWO FUCKEN DAYS TO DRAW THIS DUDE #I made it way too detailed cause I wanted em to look fancy but I’m probably gonna simplify it any time I draw them anyway shfjgsg #i changed my mind way too many times trying tk figure out Colors for them. I’m actually happy with how this came out!!!!#if you squint the sash and jinbu is a reference to sailor HEHE.. I reorganized my room and there are finally some corners that give some aesthetic vibes. My goal for the rest of the summer is to be well prepared for the next school year in terms of time management and academically (or rather, musically). Today I successfully got up early and had a good practice session, but I could have practiced more had I prepared food in advance.

I had a presentation today, and there's nothing (and I mean nothing) I hate more than those, so as a treat I made the rest of the day real cozy. Baked bread & listened to podcast while cleaning my apartment; good chill times

#also no it's not the absolute best bread; i used to be lots better at bread some years ago but i can't for the life of me remember what #modifications i made to that recipe (like it was basically just a rough guideline at the end) and i am a dumbass and never wrote any of it #down so i gotta now do some bread research and start again with tinkering everything #but the problem is that I live alone now and i can't bake like multiple big loafs a week bc it's just me eating #so it'll be lots slower this time #yea i should/could have also just been productive bc the thing i had that presentation on is still not like entirely done #but it's like almost there and I could afford a chill evening #presentations take lots of energy out of me anyways even if it's just a small quick one like today was like I am just done for the day afte #so nothing too great would've come out of it anyways #at least I now have a clean kitchen and no longer and actual mountain of clean unfolded laundry on my couch #studyblr #bookblr #booklr #aesthetic #books #study #reading #read #book #studyspo #dark academia #chaotic academia #june 2023 #2023
