Oh wow, I think I just (finally!) discovered my favourite version of Cast a Spell! It's RBBGR.

The RB combination in the beginning results in some awesome new dialogue from Hecate that I'd never heard before and the rest is just most of my favourite choices from each official version of this song.

Middle Blue is a huge favourite because we have both Freddie and Grace singing here plus the added cute and comedic moment of Hecate telling them that she's standing right there while they're talking about her. Asterion saying "Us outsiders should cheer that we found each other." is also a line that I adore so yeah, best option for me overall.

Then fourth Green is lovely because once again we have Hecate sharing her feelings there and being encouraged by Asterion. Plus "The thought with which I must contend is can I love my best friend?" kills me every single time. I'm a sucker for friends to lovers and these are so cute together, I just can't.

Last Red is also pretty much the only acceptable option for me by now because a)they get together and b) it's the only ending that has that wonderful playful musical twirl at the end. I'm sorry but nothing can top that for me.

Overall while this song is not in my personal top 5 it takes a very respectable 6th place because it never fails to make me smile (unless it's the Blue ending, then I cry) and Hecate and Asterion are my favourite couple right after Grace and Persephone. I will never not get them together. I only did it once for the achievement and ended up breaking my own heart. Never again.

On a side note this is one of the songs with the fewest variations. The only ones I could find over several replays are GBXXX and RBXXX. Everything else is the same as in the fully Green, Blue and Red versions but these two lead to extra dialogue from Hecate so my second favourite version of this song is officially GBRBR.

We will only consider two reasons for murder in your otp: ideological and extreme/critical

1. Most often, even if the characters are different, they are united by common goals, desires or ideals. But if Character A betrays Character B's ideals, is c!B capable of murder because of this? And if the opposite happens, will character c!A be able to commit this murder? After all, now they really become enemies. But enemies with a common and dear past to both.

2. Extreme situation. If Character A gets a fatal disease (which they will suffer from), or is infected with a zombie virus, will Character B be able to alleviate their suffering? And we don’t consider the “both will die” option, it’s not interesting. I have more examples of “extreme situations” in my head, but I think it will be easier for you if you select them individually.
