Introducing (from left to right) Amethyst 'Amy' Arc-Sustrai, Mindaro 'Mindy' Arc-Sustrai and their son Jade 'Jay' Arc-Sustrai!

Amethyst got the Yang treatment and has a mix of her parents eyes and is a generally kind yet mischievous person!

Mindaro prefers her nickname over her given one and usually only hears it when she's in trouble. She typically Jade's wingman when talking to girls. She's the baby of the family and resents being treated that way.

Jade is the oldest and the first to enter a combat school in hopes to become a huntsman. When he isn't pulling pranks on his sisters he's being distracted by girls. Unlike his dad, he's actually knows how to talk to them. He was an accidental pregnancy that Em and Jaune had to have a long talk about. When he was finally born, Emerald was in love and wouldn't let him go. If not for Jaune, she would have spoiled him and the rest of the kids rotten.

Emerald and Mercury make me so soft cause like, Mercury sees himself as a machine, he has metal legs and no semblance, which adds a layer of nuance to his character because semblances are often referred to as a manifestation of one’s soul. It’s established kind of that he sees himself as a vessel for violence and he reacts to his evil coworkers with soldier-like tolerance. Except for emerald. Mercury teases her, questions her,checks on her (subtly, let’s remember this is Mercury we’re talking about) he lets her talk to him, he fights her on cinder. With Emerald, he reacts like you would with someone you care about. It’s very special too because he’s known her just as long as he’s known Cinder, but he doesn’t care for Cinder at all. It’s Emerald and only Emerald that he has this soft spot for.

This is so important to because Emerald is a very emotional character, her arc depending entirely on Cinder for the first few seasons shows how much care she will put into a relationship no matter what. It’s clear that she craves love and affection even though it isn’t reciprocated, at all, but Emerald still tries and tries until she can’t keep the illusion anymore. ( @aspoonofsugar has a great analysis on this everyone should check out). Mercury cares about her more than anything and he doesn’t get a thing out of it (so does Emerald and I’ll get into that a seperate time) That is something neither have truly realised yet but both need to. For Mercury it would be a way for him to recognise he’s not some unfeeling thing and actually cares very deeply for another person (Emerald). And for Emerald to have someone who loves her with nothing being expected in return, without it being a trick or a bribe, would be so good for her own self worth.

The trio turn at the sound of the gravelly monotone voice.

Jaune: (Sounding extremely happy) Mr Banshee!

Pyrrha: (whispering to Ruby) Does Jaune know this... this person?

Ruby: (Also whispering) The rocket launcher.

Banshee-44: Huh.

Jaune: So about that rocket...

Pyrrha/Ruby: Jaune NO!

Banshee-44: Oh yeah, sorry, sold it.

Jaune: What about the other...?

Banshee: Had a fire team of Guardians come through. They took all three of 'em.

Jaune: (Pouting) I see. So they had the thirty thousand box tops each, I guess.

Pyrrha/Ruby: Yes! He's safe!

Banshee-44: The box tops are a special for you. The Guardians paid with legendary shards and glimmer.

Jaune: (whining) It makes no difference. I missed my chance. It was so adorable.

Pyrrha: It's okay, Jaune. It just wasn't meant to be.

Ruby: Pyrrha's right. We'll find you something just as good.

Banshee-44: I MIGHT have something that'll interest you.

Banshee-44 points to a new display case.

Jaune's lights up as he moves away from Pyrrha and Ruby to put his face right up against the display glass.

Ruby/Pyrrha: (Sounding worried) Jaune?

Jaune: Two of them have the cute little Rabbit Icons on them! They look so precious! I want! Both of them! What's the price?

Pyrrha: Jaune, think about this...

Jaune turned his head and looks at Pyrrha with a crazed look in his eyes.

Jaune: Rabbit Icons Pyr. Rabbit Icons... just like Pumpkin Pete... just like my hoodie.

Returns his attention to the display case.

Jaune: (Hissing as he speaks) My Precious...

Ruby; Jaune snap out of it!

Jaune: How much?

Banshee-44 shows Jaune and Jaune alone, the sticker price.

Jaune: I want to use... LAY AWAY!

Pyrrha: Jaune what's the price?

Jaune: Ten Thousand... each... so that would be twenty thousand for my darlings.

Pyrrha: I could cover that for you, if you really want them.

Ruby moves closer and peeks at the price sticker. Gasping, she hooks her arm under Jaune's right arm and starts dragging him away.

Jaune: NO! My Precious Babies!

Pyrrha: Ruby?

Ruby: PUMPKIN PETE BOX TOPS!!!!

Pyrrha doesn't hesitate and hooks her arm under Jaune's left arm and helps Ruby drag him away.

Jaune: NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Banshee-44: I'll remember you next time... maybe.

Looking from the corner of a nearby booth, totally unseen by the trio, Emerald thinks on her options while speaking outloud to herself...

Emerald: Bunny Icons... hm, maybe I can bribe him with them? I must have my blond goddess back!

So! I've been working on rwbystuck for awhile now, but due to popular demand(a vague 1 day long poll), I've decided to start posting the doodles daily till I catch up with the most recent stuff I've drawn. A few more doodles, as well as some notes below the cut.

This right here is my second set of concepts for the main team of this au, team EJRS(Iris). If you think that's a stupid name wait till I have enough doodles of the other main team to reveal what I decided to call them.

For those who are not RWBY fans, this au is a monster hunter/magic school type au, where the four lovely 18 year old's seen above train to hunt the monsters that inhabit their world, known as grimm.

For those who are not Homestuck fans, this au is alternate timeline of the rwby plotline with a bunch of kids, adults, and in most cases aliens, replacing the cast. They're a bunch of cool funky guys.

For those who are fans of both, the Stridelonde and Shnee families have been combined with an and operation on the trauma.
