good god it is genuinely freezing outside, the only thing i can think of is cuddling up with Foul Legacy

you getting home from work and quickly slamming the door shut to keep the wind out, your nose and fingers numb to the bone. you're wrapped in a thick jacket and gloves, yet you're still absolutely chilled from the biting cold outside, your body like ice. there's a faint chirp from upstairs, followed by hasty footsteps as your beloved Foul Legacy runs to greet you, but he stops short when he sees how badly you're shivering, sneaking over and gently nudging one of your numb hands with a whine. with a firm trill he pushes you over to the couch and sits you down, darting away to pilfer a few blankets from his nest to wrap around you. he pulls you close, cradling you against his chest and tucking the covers around your frigid body with a calming purr.

only when Legacy can hold your hands without yelping from chill does he allow you to get up, watching closely as you begin to make tea. he immediately tugs you close when you return, sniffing the mug you hand him and giving the hot beverage a few delicate sips. Legacy bumps his forehead against your shoulder, letting out a few questioning coos to make sure you're warming up and rumbling in delight when you nod. the world outside may freeze during the night, covering the roads and houses with shining icicles, but for now, you're cozy and happy by Foul Legacy's side.

My hallway flooded because wall behind my shower wall is so rotten and the quality of vinyl “tile” is so trash that bumping my heel into the wall near the floor is enough force to punch a hole into the SHOWER WALL without even noticing.

i gave my plug's daughter a pony ride ONE time over a year ago, and since then she has taken a shine to me that can only be described as sunny side up. she apparently begged for riding classes (with my former trainer?) before her trip to germany, but spent the entire time talking about how she wants to ride "vivien's horse" when she got home... i am so fucking touched.

i dont even care if i get free weed out of these rides i am just SO happy to be doing equine therapy again. it's not technically EQT but she enjoys the same stuff i did for the kids back then, like playing hook the horseshoe and picking leaves during trail rides.

i might try "don't drop the egg!" one day when she's feeling confident. i hope she decides to keep coming by!! walking alongside horses and children taught me a lot about kindness and patience as a teenager. i think it would be good for my mental health too, and budgie could be the perfect horse for in-hand lessons if i decide to pursue EQT professionally...

But when someone leaks to the press that someone physically and emotionally abused his children, it’s the physical abuse the press will latch onto and will stand out in the public imagination.
