I finished tgcf or Heaven Official’s Blessing and oh my GOD! It was truly the chef’s kiss of mxtx novels and one of my favorite reads in general. The manhua is stunning as well.

I totally recommend this if you really enjoyed mdzs or any of the versions of that story. The side characters in tgcf are fantastic and you truly get invested to their stories. Not only that, but the main couple is the sweetest and most wholesome shit I’ve read. Even though the story is really long and takes a while to finish, the chapters go by super quickly and by the time you’re at the end, you’ll wish the story was longer.

I’ve fallen in love with the story and the adventure all the characters go on. Although, books 2 and 4 will get ya right in the feels. But if you have already read it, feel free to tell me any of your favorite scenes, characters, or just general thoughts on the series as a whole. I’m open to discuss!

Ahhh this official audio drama art is amazing! Please check out the original artist, ChangYang, on weibo. Quick update though, I finished all of the different versions of mdzs that were available. It took hours but it was definitely worth it. The only things I couldn’t fully complete was the manhua, donghua, and the Japanese audio drama that has just recently started up. These are ongoing so far, but I will definitely keep an eye on updates.

I was really pleased with the drama and the directors ability to portray the relationship between Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji even with the censorship and such. Even though the fight scenes weren’t the best, you could definitely check out the donghua and be satisfied. I also think that leaving the audio drama for last was the best decision. It kept really close to the novel and was really well made. If you have never seen some of these variations of the story, I highly recommend checking out all of it!

I’m down to discuss about anything that relates to mdzs or any version of the story! This includes anything ranging from characters to plot.

Alright, holy shit! I just finished reading the novel, Mo Dao Zu Shi and wow was it really long but really good! I appreciate the fact that queer representation was normalized in a story that was not entirely about the main characters’ romance. It was refreshing to the say the least. Even though I still get confused over characters, there is no doubt that I am excited to watch the drama and any other format of the series! If you have not read the novel I highly recommend it, especially while on quarantine. If you have read the novel, I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions about it commented with the post. Even if you haven’t read the novel but have seen the drama or any other form of the series I will happily view each and every opinion. If you would like to talk about the structure of the story or any of the events in the plot or characters I am down for any sort of comment as long as it’s respectful!

Alright, so I wasn’t expecting to get into ships when I watched this show. To be honest, I really didn’t ship anyone until I was about 3 seasons in, and fanart satisfied. I don’t hate on any other ships btw, but this is the one I’ve kind of fallen for. Kiribaku has stolen my heart by the countless amounts of fanart I’ve seen everywhere. I do not care if any of the ships in the show become canon, but I’ll enjoy the cute posts people do make about the pairing. That being said, I would love to read some fanfictions that are longer and really well written. I love slow burn plots and strong character and relationship development. If you guys have any suggestions on a kiribaku fanfiction, please suggest it!

Alright, so I’m looking for some good quality boys love series/ short films. I would really like for some recommendations of slow burn romances that focus on lots of development from both of the characters involved. I prefer for more drama series ranging from Thai dramas to k dramas. I’m also always interested in any other type of series other than dramas as well. Anime is not really on my list unless there’s a hidden shounen ai gem that I haven’t found yet. Some really good series that I like to watch are Sotus the Series and Sotus S, Here U Are, Doukyuusei, Love by Chance, and 19 Days. If you have any recommendations for good quality and slow burn series, please share them!😁

Ok so this happened in a very short amount of time😂 honesty I’m here for it but I get why people are a little upset towards it. Let’s just let this new AU take off and see where it goes. I like the concept of it as well as the fan art! I think this is a good way for us to take a break from season seven and indulge in something that will make us smile👍 Also season seven left me soaking in my own puddle of tears really early in the morning. That was fun(￣^￣) I really like the show and I will be watching season 8 when the time comes. I’m just hoping for a little more character development, but I’ll take what I can get😊
