Danny wears sunglasses 24/7.
So much so that slowly it's been ingrained into everyone's minds that he's never taken them off. Like, they can't even remember a time where he hasn't worn sunglasses.
It's just like, his thing.
Why does he wear them? Well, because Danny's previous blue eyes changed to a startling, glowing green that he knows the GIW would eat up and use as a reason to force him into their custody.
Solution?
Sunglasses.
His parents? Oh yea they went all in when he they found out why he was wearing them (Reveal gone right au babyy). They made them extremely durable; they can film audio, take pictures, take videos, see through walls and even track down ecto-signatures for whenever he's tracking down a ghost in human form, see through walls and self-cleaning.
(The ectoplasm tracking system is for when they aren't close enough to set off his ghost sense.)
He honestly believes his parents watched a spy movie before they built him these, but it's not like he's going to complain about it. The only time he isn't wearing them is when he goes ghost, you know as a way to not link him to Fenton or whatever.
So, Danny meets John Constantine while the both of them were on the hunt for a ghost who was causing problems in the area. Danny manages to find them first, the ghost in question being an animal who was terrorizing a place because it didn't understand the fact it was dead yet and wanted to protect it's children.
John Constantine comes while Danny is pacifying it. He watches as Danny calms it down enough to get to the babies and sends it to the Ghost Zone after promising it to get them somewhere safe.
John Constantine also saw his eyes, because he pulled his sunglasses off to show them to the ghost as a silent sign to trust him. John Constantine of course asked what he was going to do with the babies, and Danny just sent them over to Sam.
After that he decided to keep an eye on Danny because of his eyes. Which were the eyes of a ghost, and he was genuinely thinking Danny was possessed before that went out the window. So he thinks Danny is a ghost pretending to be human and wasn't able to hide his eyes so he wore sunglasses.
Danny neither confirm nor deny that.
So Danny just kinda followed him around until Constatine eventually made him into a contact whenever he was dealing with ghosts that he could peacefully deal with instead of just forcefully banishing them to the Infinite Realms.
This, eventually, comes to light when Constantine goes "I know a guy." In front of the whole Justice League, bonus points if they somehow come to the conclusion that Danny is Constantine's secret child, sidekick or both.

The robins’ arrested development is fascinating to me on a meta level.
The first child sidekick of the golden age of comics, never meant to be a man, a child for forty years who fought and demanded the right to grow up.
The second robin is slain in his career’s infancy. An unaging symbol of lost innocence because innocence itself was no longer required. Who burst back out of his grave unwillingly, in a man’s body, dragged into adulthood all at once. A child killed twice over.
The third robin, who was comfortable in his place as a child as a sidekick, evicted because someone else needed that spot, only to be wedged back into the box. Not quite a man, but he can’t go back to being a boy either, stuck in the in between.
And the fifth robin, still a child. Destined to grow into an adult role that will never be vacated, and so cannot grow up.

Personally I think the Justice League not knowing Batman had kids would be more bad at social things Batman rather than paranoid Batman and they found out like this:
Justice league, minus Batman: *walks into the meeting room*
Superman: *freezes*
Green Lantern: what’s wrong?
Superman: …Batman. Why do you have three heart beats and why is one of them a cats?
Batman: *throws cape over his shoulders revealing Damian sleeping on his lap and a cat sitting on his lap* this is Robins cat Mr Whiskers
Flash: you have a side kick?!
Batman, confused because he thought they knew: no? I have a team?
Wonder Woman: a team?
Batman: Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, Robin, Batgirl, Signal- I thought you guys knew this *pulls out his wallet and pulls 50+ family photos out of that* how did you not? Have none of you pick pocketed me? *the Robins always steal his stuff and he assumes that both his teams do the same things*
Superman: I’m sorry, what?
Batman: how did you not know?
Green Arrow: well you don’t exactly talk about your life
Batman: yeah but you should’ve figured it out, I give figuring out your guys secret identities out as things to do when the Robins are bored. Who did you think looked after Gotham when I couldn’t?
Flash: I thought your power was being two places at once?
Batman: ??? I don’t have powers?
Everyone: WHAT
Batman: I never have?
Superman: how are you such a good fighter then?
Batman: I trained for two decades?
Flash: what.
Green Arrow: wait, why did you call them ‘the Robins’ I thought there were only two Robins?
Batman: well they were all Robin at some point, most of them anyways. Dick was the first Robin, then he became Nightwing. A while after that I found Jason and he became the second Robin, he died and then got resurrected and became a crime boss for a while and changed his name to Red Hood. And while Jason was dead Tim showed up and became Robin, Tim became Red Robin. And Damian is the current Robin.
J’onn: why do you call them by their real names, I know you know everyone’s secret identities but isn’t that rude?
Batman: what do you mean? They’re my kids? I’ve adopted all of them?
Everyone: WHAT
Superman: Wait, circle back. One of your kids got resurrected and is a crime boss
Batman: he isn’t bad, he just isn’t offically part of the team anymore but we still work togther all the time-
Flash: offically? What is there a list on the Gotham police website.
Batman: yes, it can be wrong sometimes though, they thought Batgirl was my sidekick way before I actually started training her. It took me a while to realise I couldn’t convince her to stop crime fighhting.
Green Lantern: you don’t make them when you adopt them?
Btman: NO! She was like 12! I don’t make kids fight! She wouldn’t stop and it would be mroe dangerous to leave her without proper gear or any way to call for help, and I didn’t want Nightwing to fight when I adopted him he chose to himself and when I said no he went out after Zacoo anyways, and I found Jason stealing my tires so he already knew I was Batman-

HotGuy is the bravest, sharpest, most handsomest hero in all of Hermit City. That’s what he’d tell you, anyway. Nobody can agree on what HotGuy is. A hero to some, villain to others. There’s a universal agreement he’s a wanna-be show off of some kind. Him and that pesky bird…
Scar is determined to win over the citys’ hearts (and charitable diamonds) so who better to face off against than King Cleo? With his charming smile, trusty bow, and sidekick CuteGuy, nothing can go wrong!
Coming soon to a theater near you /j
(but these are screenshot style pieces for what I imagine an animated hotguy movie would look like. More ramblings about this au below)
[trailer] / 1
King Cleo would IMMEDIATELY put them in their place like a teacher lecturing the entire class on how they’ve been misbehaving. But that’s no fun right away, so why not let them learn their lesson? >:)
HotGuy and CuteGuy are an iconic duo in Hermit City. King Cleo and Entropy (Cub) are another iconic duo. Whether each team is heroic or villainous depends on who you ask. Even the city residents are split on opinions
Except Bdubs. He runs a podcast spilling conspiracy theories and dragging almost every “hero” name into the mud (his attitude is very inspired by J. Jonah Jameson from Spiderman). He believes they’re menaces and should stay out of the city’s local problems because 9/10 they somehow make it worse. He’s very critical of these 4 in particular, and it doesn’t help that they all like to personally mess with him for the fun of it
Far off in the city outskirts, a living folktale hides in the forest. An amalgamation of creatures that make up one giant monster, and coming across their path is…certainly an experience. They speak in poetry and think out loud, peering deep into the soul of their visitor with just a few words. Sightings are few and far in between, but each interaction is memorable- to say the least. Their name is Joe Hills. A very close friend to King Cleo (but nobody else knows that)
And! an explanation to HotGuy’s mobility aid
With the best high-tech, Scar’s wheelchair can reshape into a mechanical griffin with the press of a button. It lets him take to the sky and hotguy targets! Griffins also have conflicting symbolism, which reflects his persona
Good and Evil. Light and Dark. They’re said to be harbingers of chaos. Mischief certainly seems to follow HotGuy wherever he goes. Be wary of his smirk
They’re also said to be gentle protectors. He shows up to help citizens and tiny creatures alike. With a voice so soothing, any trouble they face is wiped off like nothing (or, ends up feeling a little easier to handle)
Griffins are one of the most remarkable creatures in mythology, their stories told and twisted through generations, but how does the griffin tell his own story?
I’ve got a few ideas I wanna draw so I’ll be posting more of this under #hotguy wotk au

i think there is a place for “older people looking back at kids stories and going ‘dear god no one is looking out for that kid’ and creating something based on that feeling and thoughts. but thats a completely different place and genre than kids stories where adults just let a kid run an army cause hes the chosen one or he has superpowers or just no one else can do it or w/e

Disney doesn't need to change "the formula." That's the last thing that Wish proves.
What Wish proves is that "the formula" only works when you know why the ingredients are in it, and you use them the correct way.
The Princess Character is meant to wish for only half of the movie's message, and go through an adventure that teaches her what the other half is; what her dream was missing. Ariel dreamed of understanding but she was missing love. Tiana dreamed of achieving her goals but she was missing faith. Jasmine dreamed of freedom but she was missing trust. Belle dreamed of adventure but she was missing being understood.
The Villain is meant to highlight the opposite of the movie's message. Jafar gets what he wants through trickery and manipulation; that's the opposite of Aladdin's "truth will set you free" message, and he gets imprisoned in a lamp. Scar thinks being a King is having his way all the time and can't learn from his past of living in Mufasa's shadow; that's the opposite of The Lion King's "Let the past remind you of your responsibility to selflessness." Gaston loves only himself and is always obsessed with appearances; that's the opposite of Beauty & the Beast's "true love is found within a heart of self-sacrifice." That's what makes them such good villains. (and that clear direction is what drives good villain songs, since Magnifico's is what everyone is talking about)
The sidekick is supposed to compare/contrast with the main character's qualities. Abu is a greedy thief, which is what everyone in Agrabah thinks Aladdin is; when he scolds Abu and teaches him selflessness, it shows us who Aladdin actually is. Flounder is easily frightened and looks at the glass half-full; when Ariel coaxes him and leads by example, we see her bravery and positivity reflected in Flounder's tiny character arc. Timon & Pumbaa do whatever they want all day just like young Simba always dreamed of; when Simba goes to live with them, he finds that "getting his way all the time" makes him forget who he really is and feel empty.
The setting is supposed to show off the characters and highlight the movie's message. Rapunzel's tower is designed to be pretty on the inside because of her influence; if it were too dark and prison-shaped, we'd wonder why she didn't work up the courage to leave sooner. Just like how Quasimodo has made his corner of the bell-tower beautiful, too; they're taught the world is cruel and they're not strong enough for it, but they make their own worlds beautiful enough to hint that that's wrong right from the start. Ariel's grotto is shaped like a tower with no roof so that she only has one window to the forbidden Surface, and it's the light that comes from that forbidden world into her dark grotto which literally makes her able to see human things differently. Tiana's apartment has no interesting features except her father's picture, a perfectly made bed, a drawer with no extra outfits but stuffed with tip money, and only two dresses; both of which are for work.
None of that is happening in Wish, because they didn't know why the formula ingredients are there. Disney needs to understand and return to the formula the right way; forgetting it was what got them here.
Asha learns nothing to add to her dream, unless you count "the power to grant wishes is in me." Which you shouldn't, because we didn't even know she was confused about that until the animals sang a song that was completely off-topic and she had the chance to jump in and sing "I'm a Star!"
Magnifico does not demonstrate the opposite of Wish's message effectively because his character has nothing to do with a philosophy against making wishes, and everything to do with power. (He is the strongest character in the film. But because the message and core concept of what wishes are are so bad, that's not saying much.)
Valentino, and Asha's friends, do not highlight anything about her character through compare/contrast. Valentino is brave and all over the place. Her friends are seven-dwarfs parodies. Happy, Doc, Sneezy, Dopey, Bashful, Sleepy, Grumpy. None of that contrasts with Asha's vague characterization of "cares too much." None of it compares to that characterization, either.
The setting is empty. There are no interesting details that teach you something about any of the characters. None in Asha's home, none in the neat-and-tidy one-dimensional forest, none in the Rosas square, and none in the bland, empty castle. Magnifico's study is the closest anything gets; there's a loose concept that all of Asha's friends have to work together to open the roof, and take a leap of faith to weigh the pulley system down. Unfortunately, none of these characters is shown struggling to work together, OR to take leaps of faith, at all, before this point.
The ingredients of the formula are in Wish. They're just not being used correctly. This is how not to use the formula; it's not the formulas fault. If it ain't broke. They should never have let people convince them to try and fix it.

Dick was a normal name in the 1950’s, but it’s 2022 now, so here’s how I immagine all of the batkids (+ some extras) reacting to Dick introducing himself.
BABS (10 years old)
Dick: My name’s dick
Babs: That’s a bad word.
Dick: No? It’s my name?
Babs: Daddy says it’s naughty to say bad words.
Dick: But it’s my name?
Babs: I’m gonna go ask daddy *runs up to commissioner Gordon* daddy, that kid says his name is Dick, can I say it when I’m talking about him?
Dick: *the son of immigrant parents, grown up speaking an amalgamation of Easter European dialects and was names after Dick Tracy still confused as to why his name is a bad word*
***
Jason
Dick: Hey buddy, I know this is all very new but my name is Dick and I—
Jason: hold up, hold up. Dick?
Dick: yeah, I know, I know but —
Jason: Damn and I thought my parents were assholes.
***
Tim
This little stalker already knew Dick’s entire biography, so there wasn’t a reaction, bless him.
***
Damian
He was brought up by assassins, also no particular reaction.
***
Steph
Dick: nice to meet you Stephanie, my name’s Dick.
Steph: you said Dick?
Dick: short for Richard, yes.
Steph: Nice. *nods*
***
Cass (Cass uses sign language because I said so)
Dick: *finger spells D I C K*
Cass: *there’s a sign for that*
Dick: yeah but we ain’t gonna use it, kiddo.
***
Wally (13 years old)
Dick: it’s so cool to meet other sidekicks! I’m Dick.
Wally: as in your name is Dick?
Dick: Yes *blushing because now he knows why everyone is reacting like it’s strange*
Wally: Ok from now on I’m gonna be the one to introduce you to anyone we meet, deal? Oh you’ll see man it’ll be so much fun *proceeds to list out all of the ways they could sneak dick jokes into conversations*
***
Roy
Wally: Roy, I have the pressure to introduce you to my Dick.
Roy: what the fuck do you mean now!?
Dick: *quadruple flips over Wally and lands in between them* ta-da!!!
Roy: who’s the kid?
Wally *placing an hand on Dick’s shoulder*: this, is my Dick
Roy: that’s your actual name?
Dick: it is.
Roy *looking between the other two*: ok I want in on your plans to introduce him to the others

SYNOPSIS: Bakugou decides to put his delusional secretary in their place.
Tumblr media
pairing: bakugou katsuki x fem!reader
word count: 9.6k+
genre: fluff, SMUT, maybe a smidgen of angst
tags/warnings: 18+! minors dni! reader is not the secretary, basically this other lady is trying to seduce your man but katsuki isn’t falling for it! marking, exhibitionism, oral (f!receiving), riding, soft!bakugou but also mean!bakugou, humiliation (not really at reader), a couple spanks, office sex, praise, degradation, pet names (baby, princess, angel), crude language
author’s notes: this is very overdue, like incredibly overdue LOL i started this wip last year but could only continue writing during random bouts of inspiration. so i apologize if the smut is a little half-assed and if the characterization is questionable. but enjoy my late kinktober 2022 present to y’all
Tumblr media
The sound of Dynamight’s heavy boots hitting the floor resonate throughout the wide hallways of his agency, drowning out the heels clicking behind him. A woman quickens her pace in an attempt to catch up to the impatient blond hero, rushing into his peripheral vision.
“Sir? Oh Bakugou sir~” The dulcet chime calling him is sickly sweet, enough to make him grimace. “I need you to look over these reports before I file them away.” She whips out one of the thick packets of papers clutch to her chest, bringing his steps to a halt which makes the hero point a glare at her.
“How many times do I have to fucking tell you that you’re suppose to call me by my hero name.” Malice coats his words, dripping off his tongue as he swipes the reports from her fingers. The woman, to the hero’s annoyance, indulges in his feisty attitude.
“Aw, but ‘Bakugou’ is more fitting given how closely we work together!” She waves off his displeasure, hoping her excessively cheerful personality can tone him down. “I am your secretary, after all.” She leans into his space, too damn close for his liking by how he could get a whiff of her pungent perfume. The overbearing scent has him side-stepping to create more distance between them.
The blond rolls his eyes before giving the papers in his hand a once-over, not even granting her the satisfaction of eye contact. “You work at a Pro-Hero agency, not some ordinary office job.”
Normally, he isn’t one to admonish any of his employees unless they’re his sidekicks. He’s always out and about on missions, never dawdling around the office long enough to find anything to scold them about. So long as they were competent at their job, he never had to give them any earfuls. But this woman here has been testing that resolve.
A month into her new position, his secretary has been greeting him every morning with far more energy than should be considered possible at such an hour. Her regular tasks shouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary. She was mostly tasked with filing villain reports and contacting other Pro-Hero agencies, but her enthusiasm warrants him to think otherwise.
She deliberately shares elevator rides with him, droning on and on about god knows what before getting off at her floor, ending their dull conversations with winks and wide-eyed smiles that make him want to gag. It’s one thing to be genuinely excited about your job, but it’s another thing to be attached to your boss at the hip. She’s at his beck and call when he doesn’t even ask for her.
One can chalk this up to her simply gunning for a promotion, buttering up her boss to garner his favor. However, Bakugou isn’t an idiot. He can read the air, deciphering the meaning behind her words and advances. Her deceptive guise of a hardworking secretary beneath those batting eyelashes is easily uncovered by him.
If she was really trying so hard for a promotion she’d approach him with more important topics in mind. Statistics, analysis, updates on villain activity and hero work. Y’know, discussions that would actually benefit his agency rather than waste his time.
Instead, Bakugou stands there listening to… this.
“You know, I’ve been thinking,” her voice drifts off as she taps a finger against her bottom lip pensively, “we should consider holding a party to get to know all our co-workers better!” she proposes. The blond narrows his brows incredulously at her suggestion.
Oblivious to his lack of interest, she moves closer to him, caressing a hand along his hard bicep. She tip-toes her fingers up his arm before flattening her digits next to his ear to whisper, “Company members only, of course. But I’m sure we’d still have a fun time even if it was just the two of us, right?”
Recognizing the suggestive lilt in her tone, he shoves her off of him without even touching her, abruptly tossing his shoulder back. The secretary freezes and comes across the peeved expression on the explosion hero’s rough features.
“We’re here to beat villains and protect civilians, not throw dumb parties.”
“But–”
“Shut it,” he retorts harshly, not letting the bewildered look on the secretary’s face demur him. He shoves the reports back in her arms. “Just do your damn job.” With his brows taut behind his mask, the blond glares hard at her, watching her fumble with the papers before he resumes the rhythm of his combat boots stepping down the hallway. The hero gives her one last glance over his shoulder.
“And remember, it’s Dynamight to you.”
.
.
Man, what an annoying woman.
Is the thought that plagues Bakugou’s mind as he stands beneath the running water in his shower, washing away the sweat and grime accumulated from another busy day of heroics. Yet he still can’t get the irritating thoughts in his head to do the same.
His fingers weave the shampoo through his spikey locks, the pads of his digits massaging his scalp. Glancing at his reflection in the foggy, glass screen door, he meets his scowling mug.
“Tryna get in my pants and shit… Worry about keeping your damn job,” he grumbles to himself exasperatedly. What he finds especially annoying is knowing his secretary will start the day again tomorrow as if nothing happened. Even with Bakugou’s firm stance at wanting to keep things strictly professional, she’s going to continue getting up in his space, trying to caress her nails up his arm, and stink up the place with what he swore was five different kinds of perfume sprayed on her clothes.
But Bakugou’s not some oblivious fool. He can recognize from a mile away what her goal is and he absolutely wants no part in it.
Besides...
“Katsuki! Dinner will be ready when you’re done showering!”
His head swivels toward the door of the bathroom. “Yeah I heard ya!”
He’s already got someone deserving of his time and affection.
You.
“’Kay!” you reply, voice gradually growing louder. Bakugou hears your feet plodding toward the bathroom door just as the door creaks open slightly. “I’ll leave you a new towel to use after you’re done showering, too.” Even through the steam, he can recognize your silhouette peeking inside to drop the towel off. Unbeknownst to you, behind the cloudy glass door of the shower there’s a smile that finds his lips.
After washing the lather off his hair and body, he shuts the water. The last streams falling from the showerhead glide down his skin, joining the suds on the floor before they all disappear down the drain. As the thick steam surrounding him dissipates, he covers his toned body in the towel you left for him.
While patting down the excess droplets cascading his blond locks, Bakugou puts on some sweatpants, but forgoes his t-shirt for now, leaving it hanging over his shoulder. He continues rubbing the towel around his torso as he exits the bathroom.
The savory aroma of thick cheeses and tomato sauces hits Bakugou’s nose the moment he enters the kitchen. He stops in his tracks to take in the pleasant smells, along with the sight in front of his eyes that effortlessly forms a grin on his face.
Your soft hums accompany the harmonious atmosphere of the kitchen. Bakugou’s ruby eyes rove over you shimmying your way around an array of pans and plates like you own the place (which you essentially do), watching you finish piecing your dinner together with a generous sprinkle of garnish and spices.
Eyes never leaving you, an expression of admiration and fondness paints his usually hardened face. With arms crossed over his chest, he could just stand there, admire you, and be more than wholly content. You could do the most mundane things and still have him wrapped around your finger—not that he’d ever mention that to you out loud of course. Occasionally, Bakugou wonders how he ever got so lucky with you in the first place.
You’re so blissfully unaware of your hotheaded boyfriend lurking nearby. It’s all the more apparent by how you abruptly pause as soon as you discover him idling in the kitchen doorway in all of his half-naked glory.
The blond doesn’t let the fact that you’re practically ogling his hard muscle slip past him, and definitely doesn’t miss your moment of hesitation before you avert your gaze, your cheeks growing hot. It brings a smirk to his face and his ego through the roof.
Bakugou tosses his towel and t-shirt somewhere off the side before coming to you. “What? Getting flustered or something, babe?” he taunts. His deep tone hovers next to your ear as his chest touches your back. His hands are on either side of you, trapping you against the counter.
“That fuckin’ hot that I got you this speechless?” His breath is so close to you, he just knows you have goosebumps trailing down your spine. He can tell by the heat swirling in your cheeks just how much he has an effect on you and he absolutely loves how easily he can get you flustered.
Though he can’t say he’s all but immune to your charms, either. He trails a calloused hand up your bare thigh and hips, giving your ass a firm squeeze through your booty shorts which causes a yelp to flee your lips.
Fuckin’ hell.
The way you were dancing around in these things, tip-toeing to reach high cabinets that caused the shorts to ride up slightly and give him a glimpse of the plushness peeking past the fabric already had Bakugou half-hard simply standing behind you. But being able to touch what was essentially his started to make the material of his sweatpants absolutely suffocating.
In a single motion, he spins you around. Your back is pinned against the counter as you’re forced to face him. The cocky grin plastered on his lips greets you.
Finally grasping your composure, you raise an eyebrow at him. “For someone who wanted to take a shower as soon as their stinky-self got home, you sure are eager to get dirty again,” you retort, tracing your hands up his arms to place them on his broad shoulders. “Work didn’t get you sweaty enough?”
The blond chuckles lowly at your cheekiness. His face inches closer, mere centimeters away from your lips. “I could go for an extra workout,” he says huskily, voice dissipating with the shortening distance between you.
His eyes are lidded as he targets your lips, hands leaving the edge of the counter in favor of wrapping his arms around your waist. To his surprise, when he darts forward he meets nothing but air.
Hearing your giggles beside him breaks the tension between you. He opens his eyes and discovers that you’ve tilted your head out of the way. Before he can open his mouth to spit a retort, you rest your head against his shoulder, arms winding at his neck.
“Food’s gonna get cold, big boy,” you hum.
The noise that leaves his gritted teeth is practically a growl. “Dun care about the food–” His hands at your sides play with the waistband of your shorts. “Would rather eat you out on this counter.”
He watches you gulp down the lump in your throat, finding the idea tempting as a dull throb aches between your legs. But to his dismay, you don’t want to let him indulge in you just yet.
You lean forward to kiss his cheek to prepare him for your next words, “First and foremost, dinner. And then I'll let you do whatever you want with me. How’s that?” You tiptoe to peck his nose one more time for good measure before wriggling free from his clutches. You shuffle away to the steaming hot food you left on the other end of the counter.
Pink swathes his cheeks as Bakugou stands there dumbfounded. He rubs the back of his head, his brows furrowing in frustration.
“You’re killing me here, dammit.”
You let out another dulcet giggle. The urge to sneak up on you again to try to get you all hot and bothered lingers until it’s interrupted by a piece of fabric thrown in his face. “Also, shirt on we please.” You turn back at him with two plates of stuffed ravioli perched on each hand. “No shirt, no service.”
He yanks the white t-shirt off his face, grimacing as he begrudgingly pulls it over his head. “Yeah, yeah. You love it though.” Nonetheless, he follows behind you while the savory aroma of your food creates a path toward the dining table. The scent alone makes his stomach growl, the effects of a long day at work making themselves apparent.
Despite the antics he has to put up with, he can’t help but soften around you. It’s as if you possess an innate ability to effortlessly get him to shed his notoriously rough exterior.
He takes a seat on his side of the table, his stomach now growling loud enough for you to hear. You tease a wry grin before placing the ravioli dishes on the table, letting the delicious aromas waft around him, his mouth watering.
“I know it’s been a long day for you so you better eat up, hero.”
The blond’s eyes flicker for a second, chest enveloped with pride as he meets the look on your face that awaits for him in anticipation to dig in. “Yeah… Thanks for the meal,” he murmurs, mild gratitude woven in his words as he picks up the fork and finally chows down.
Again, what did he ever do to deserve you? He knows how hard you work each and every day. The fact that you’re still willing to love and take care of him is enough for him to want to cherish you for an eternity. Coming home to the person he loves and sharing meals with them is a blessing to him as it is and he absolutely wouldn’t trade this for anything else.
Which just makes the matter of his secretary all the more annoying to him.
The damn woman has walked in his office plenty of times to see the framed picture of you two on his desk, even occasionally interrupting his phone calls with you that would end with him mouthing low “love yous” before he’d have to turn around to acknowledge the petty expression resting on her face. He’d watch as her demeanor quickly shifted into a full 180—from a bitter frown to a forced grin to keep up her facade. She definitely knows he’s in a happy, committed relationship. The real question is whether or not she cares enough to acknowledge the fact.
He could just fire her for unprofessionalism. That seems like an obvious solution, but knowing her, she’d probably feed the media some false rumors about alleged abuse towards his employees. Of course, that wouldn’t at all be true. Far from it, but the news loved to twist the truth so long as it got them clicks. Given Bakugou’s naturally rugged demeanor, it wouldn’t be hard for the public to buy their shit and for his ranking on the hero chart to plummet. Which Bakugou could not afford right now considering how close he was to the top.
“’Tsuki, stop playing with your food.” He hears you chide, tugging him from his contemplation.
Bakugou huffs, jamming his fork onto the plate. “I’m not a damn kid.”
“Right, tell that to the ravioli you’re mangling with your fork.” You raise your brow and point at his stabbed and defeated pasta, the filling oozing out from the punctured holes. He keeps his gaze suspiciously fixed on the ravioli.
Does it taste bad? You wonder warily. “If you don’t like it then you don’t have to eat it, y’know.”
“What? No– The food’s fine.” He stuffs three pastas in his mouth one after the other. “Fucking delicious,” he mutters through ungracious chewing, cheeks puffed profusely, bringing a grin to your face.
“What’s wrong then? Bad day at work?”
He swallows his food. “Could say that,” he answers, resting his head against his propped arm. “Just some employee causing trouble.”
“Hopefully it’s not one of your sidekicks,” you pick at the raviolis while stuck in your musing, “I remember your first batch of recruits when you just started your own agency. You nearly scared half of them away by the end of the week.”
“How else was I supposed to whip those newbies into shape?” He lounges in his seat. “If they can’t take some yelling from a Pro, then they’re definitely not ready for the real hero world. Besides, they were the ones that came to my agency knowing that I’m the best,” he boasts with confidence, shoving more pasta in his mouth, and munching at his leisure.
“Also, it’s not a sidekick. Just some lady who can’t do her fuckin’ job.”
“Aw, cut her some slack, I’m sure she’s trying her best.”
Bakugou almost scoffs. If you knew the real reason for her lack of work ethic, you’d be on the same page as him.
Either way, he really needs to get this secretary off his back before shit blows out of proportion. If pictures, phone calls—hell—even lunch dates can’t get her to wake up, then what?
To his surprise, the idea actually comes to him quicker than he anticipated, red eyes perking up at a scheme forming in his head.
Of course. Heh, why didn’t I think of that sooner?
This is how he’s going to do it, he thinks. His lips barely resist the urge to quiver into a smirk that will no doubt have you questioning whatever was riling him up. Swallowing his final piece of pasta, Bakugou pushes his plate away but aims his fork in your direction.
“You free tomorrow?”
“I just have to drop off some papers at work in the morning. Why?”
“Good. Come by the agency for lunch.”
Your brows furrow at how sudden the request is, however, you go along with it. “Okay, should I make lunch for us?”
“Nah, don’t. I’ll order something,” he assures, but in his head he’s sure lunch would be the last thing on your mind tomorrow afternoon with what he has planned for you, him, and his secretary.
Bakugou scoots his seat back, leaning over on your side of the table. “Now, I remember a certain brat made a promise to me after dinner was done.”
“Hold it, I still have a piece–”
“Nuh-uh, c’mere–” He lightly pushes your hand away, and with effortless strength, pulls you out of your chair and over his shoulder. “Already waited too damn long.”
“Whoa..!” Your last piece of pasta falls back on the plate, forgotten. You watch as the distance between you and the dining table diminishes, the impatient blond leading you two into the hallway. At your fidgeting, he swats your thigh, warning you to stay fucking still unless you want to accidentally fall on your face.
With a squeal escaping your lips, you comply. As a reward, he presses his lips against the side of your ass as you’re still hanging over him, nipping at your curves. Your yelps are replaced by laughter. The ticklish sensation nearly makes you squirm again if not for Bakugou dropping you unceremoniously onto your bed.
“You better make it up to me for having to make me wait, Princess.” His emphasis on what is supposed to be your endearing little pet name comes out as a snarl as you’re cornered against the sheets. Expecting this kind of intense reaction from him after your meal, you grin slyly.
“I mean the ravioli was good, wasn’t it?”
Well that he can’t deny. Still, the blond smirks, showing his pearly canines. “Yeah, but,” he moves away from you, kneeling while grabbing at the hem of his shirt to pull it off,
“I’m still fuckin’ hungry.”
.
.
There is no doubt that the next day, you woke up incredibly sore. Sore yet also just as happy.
The tension in your muscles had dissipated as a result of being repeatedly fucked into your own mattress last night, allowing you to sleep soundly. So soundly that you don’t even notice your boyfriend leaving for work that morning. But it can’t be helped given how ungodly early his hero work starts every day.
Some hours after Bakugou has already left, your alarm goes off to remind you that it’s about time to begin your day. Even after a spent night, you can’t bear the thought of lying in bed anymore, especially with how cold the sheets had become, devoid of the blond’s natural warmth. Plus you had something to look forward to this afternoon—your lunch date.
Once you get washed and dressed, you grab your business files from your desk and dash out the door to drop off your papers at work.
Before you know it, it’s noon and you’re standing in front of the receptionist’s desk at Dynamight’s agency.
While you wait for the receptionist to finish their business call, you think back on the employee Bakugou mentioned yesterday. You note in the foreground how busy the entire place looks, which doesn't surprise you. The agency runs like a well-oiled machine. With all the hustle and bustle going on, it seems like everyone is doing their job with peak efficiency. Honestly, you can’t imagine anyone wanting to test the wrath of the explosive Number Two Hero, but you assume such people existed.
“Thank you for waiting! Here to see Mister Dynamight?” The receptionist greets you after hanging up their call, immediately recognizing you from your prior visits.
“Yeah, just coming by for lunch.”
“He’s in his office right now so I’ll let him know you’re here then.”
You mouth a thank you, followed by a farewell wave as you make your way to the elevator.
“’Suki’s office should be on… this floor…” you murmur, pressing the corresponding button on the panel. While you wait for the doors to close, you spot a figure approaching from a distance. You can see the person’s wrinkled professional attire, disheveled hair, and slightly smeared makeup as she approaches the elevator clumsily.
“H… Hold the door!” she pants.
Hearing her frantic request, your mind catches up with you. You jam your index finger on another button on the panel, keeping the doors open just long enough for the woman to slip inside and catch her breath.
You watch her ungraciously drop to the floor, lungs gasping for air. “That was a close one.” You bend down to extend a helping hand.
She sputters as she reaches out to you, “Yeah, thanks, I– Wait, you’re...” When she looks up, her eyes squint to get a better look at your face, brows knitting together as she recognizes your features. Dismissing your help, she abruptly retracts her hand before getting up on her own. You cock your head suspiciously when you notice her change in demeanor.
“Oh, I’m just stopping by to have lunch with my boyfriend. He’s your, uh,” you piece your words as eloquently as you can, “boss.”
It’s always difficult for you to tell any of Bakugou’s staff that you’re his girlfriend. You’d done it before in front of his group of sidekicks while waiting outside his office and as a result they all flipped, bombarding you with questions about your relationship before falling dead silent when his door suddenly swung open.
You’re expecting the same, if not, a similar reaction here, but you’re surprised to see a deadpan look in the woman’s eyes. She averts her gaze. You glance over at her, taking note of her fists shaking at her sides and how she bites the inside of her cheek which forms a pout on her lips.
You’re beginning to wonder if you shouldn’t have disclosed that information. “Are you okay?” you inquire, your voice filled with genuine concern. She eventually turns to look at you straight on, her expression teetering between a smile and a scowl. In any case, she tries to steer you away from the elephant in the room.
“Yep! Just peachy!” she assures through a strained grin that makes you all the more suspicious of her. Even if you want to question it, she has no intention of continuing the conversation. Her lips press together in an effort to maintain her smile, or else risk blurting something that should’ve stayed in her mouth. You keep to yourself in the elevator so as not to bother her, but the prolonged silence, combined with the elevator’s incessant dinging throughout each ascending floor, creates a suffocating atmosphere.
With every floor you pass you soon realize that despite keeping your distance, she’s still looking in your general direction. You notice her sneaking glances at you and your neck grows hot as you follow where her eyes wander. You press your palm against your jugular, the spot you recall Bakugou laying his teeth on last night.
I thought I covered that…
You want to chastise yourself for not spending enough time this  morning to conceal the blemishes on your neck. Your coworker had even commented on them before you left for Dynamight’s agency, to your embarrassment.
You settle for letting out an uneasy chuckle while adjusting the collar of your shirt. Though the majority of Bakugou’s staff are already aware of your relationship, you’d rather hide any detail of your sex life if possible. You’d prefer not being the hot talk amongst the whole faculty.
You expect to be the brunt of the woman’s teasing next, anticipating her wiggling her brows or whistling, but she keeps her mouth shut and her expression even appears offended.
Fortunately, the elevator saves both of you from any more uncomfortable silences. Right on cue, the doors slide open for the woman to exit on her floor. She doesn’t spare you a glance on her way out, but you overhear her mutter under her breath, “Enjoy your lunch or whatever.”
She stomps in the opposite direction until her figure disappears behind closing doors. Your face scrunches. “What’s her deal?”
You’ve gotten used to the bitter reactions some people would give over the fact you and Bakugou are in a relationship. You kind of have to, considering who Bakugou is and the hoards of fans he’s accumulated over the years as a Pro-Hero. But any of the backlash you receive is mostly posted online by petty netizens. No one has the guts to confront you in person. Mostly because if they do, Bakugou has no qualms about retaliating with equal venom and more. This lady, on the other hand, works for Bakugou. When it comes to greeting her boss’s girlfriend, she should be professional, right?
You brush those thoughts away, recalling that no one should ever have to suck up to you simply because you're a Pro’s significant other. “She’s probably on the PR team.” You laugh off, remembering how much trouble it is to manage Bakugou’s public image and how she must be tired from working overtime.
The elevator dings one last time to indicate that you’ve arrived at your destination. When the doors part, the entrance to Dynamight’s office is directly across from you, passing a short corridor. Normally, sidekicks and employees had to press the button on the side of the door, or page him ahead of time before entering. However, you have the luxury of just swinging those doors open whenever you like.
“Heya, Katsu–”
“For the last fuckin’ time, there’s no way I’m going on that mission as his fucking standby.” The voice booming at the other end of the room behind a wide, wooden desk drowns out your voice. “Tell Grand that if he can’t find another B-rate hero agency like his to do his damn dirty work, then he can just fuck himself,” he spits into the receiver. He slams the phone down and hangs up the call without a second thought.
You announce your presence once more with a low whistle. Another one for the PR team. “Vulgar as usual,” you joke.
He sighs loudly, “The only way to get the message across their thick skulls is to beat it into their heads at this point,” he says, leaning against the large glass windows behind him. “That Shindou needs to get off my back. I thought I told everyone I wasn’t taking anymore calls from that asswipe.”
“I’m sure Grand will finally get the idea after he receives your message from his manager.” Slipping in next to him, you wrap your arms around his neck. Your fingers delicately crawl up to his chin, tilting his head to face your smile. Bakugou reciprocates the gesture, his gloved hands gripping your waist and pulling you in as your lips briefly meet. When you part, you rest your forehead against his.
“How was patrol this morning, hero?” you whisper, playing with the tufts of hair above his neck.
“Same old shit,” he tells you quietly as you hum at his response, an amused grin tugging at the seam of your lips. Just as you’re about to separate, his hold at your sides tightens, locking your body against his.
“Bet you missed me, didn’t you, princess?” He leans in to nibble your jawline, causing laughter to tumble from your lips. “Bed got cold without me?”
Your answer is interrupted by a hand brushing up against the waistband of your pants, ruffling your tucked-in blouse. The man growls in the crook of your neck. “Didn’t have my cock to keep you nice and warm?”
Your nose scrunches at his unfiltered tongue. “Katsuki, I came here for lunch, remember?” You push at his chest, attempting to get him off you, but his teeth lock onto your clavicle.
“Food’s on the way,” he assures. Fingers play with the loops of your pants, dragging your shirt out slowly. “Might as well kill time–” His lips suddenly collide with yours, stealing your breath and drowning out any protests. He scuffs his teeth against your bottom lip, looking for a way in. You whimper in response at his persistence, stumbling backwards against the edge of his desk as he finally pries through your lips.
After an intense moment of kissing, his attention shifts to your jugular, nipping at the tender skin again. Every time his canines make contact with the broken skin, you wince. “Still got my marks all over ya,” he boasts, but the more skin he tries to unveil, the more he has to pull at your shirt’s collar which quickly annoys him. “Though I don’t understand what the hell you’re covering them up for.”
“D-Don’t want people to see…” you fumble with your excuses yet tilt your head to grant him better access. He scoffs at how your actions betray your words.
“Why does it matter when I want them to see? Let those fuckers look and know we’re together.” He licks one of the patches of broken skin. His harsh words make you shiver in his hold, but beneath his rough exterior, you sense a tender possessiveness in the amount of attention he pays to your body.
Your fingers brush through his hair, gently pulling him off of you so you can look him in the eyes, “You’re so damn insufferable, you know that?”
“Heh, you like it though,” Bakugou counters. You click your tongue, feigning ignorance. With his hand wrapped at the nape of your neck, he thumbs at your blemishes. His ruby eyes take their time to admire every inch of his claim on you. “You were clenching whenever I marked you. Screaming nice and loud too.”
“I bet the neighbors hate us now…” You sigh quietly.
“Took them that long?” He grins, almost proud of being a menace to those extras next door despite being a heroic figure. “Besides, not my fault you let me do whatever I wanted to you.” You pout, but accept it’s a fact you very well can’t deny.
As his deft hands unfasten each button of your blouse, he switches your positions. He yanks your shirt, dragging the fabric down your shoulders to reveal your skin and the bra hugging your chest. Licking his lips, he removes his thick gloves before hoisting you up to sit on the desk with him, making you straddle his thighs. Another pause of appreciation for the blossoms adorning your chest makes him blurt out, “Maybe I should let you mark me up just as much.”
You look at him precariously. He doesn’t take back the grin on his face. Seeing your wide-eyed expression, he cups your jaw, pulling you toward him. “What’s the look for? I know you’ve thought about it, princess.” Bakugou reads you like a book. He revels in your flustered face, telling him how right he is.
The image of his scarred, toned skin covered in hickeys has crossed your mind more times than you can count, but you’ve always been too engrossed in the intoxicating sensation of his teeth grazing every stretch of your skin to ever have an opportunity to bring the thought to light. Bakugou never gives you an inch when it comes to taking the reins in the bedroom. But now he’s practically granting you the opportunity on a silver platter.
You point a dubious look at him. “Are you serious, or did you bump your head somewhere earlier on patrol?” Anticipating your skeptical response, a chuckle rumbles low in his throat. He scoots back to remove his tank top, letting your hands lay over his chiseled physique. Your fingers immediately trace the scars and cuts lining his muscles, each one standing as a testament to every one of his battles. The idea of your own marks joining his adonis of a canvas has your eyes fluttering.
“’s no joke, babe,” he clarifies, a wicked grin plastered on his face. He then remembers why he made this whole arrangement in the first place. “Aren’t you tired of those fuckin’ extras always ogling me—looking at me up and down like they even have a damn chance to touch all of this?” He grabs your wrist and guides your hands above his chest, your fingertips brushing his collarbones.
You bite your lower lip. “Well…”
Hearing your voice linger, he snarls, “Are you seriously hesitating?”
It’s not like you hadn’t ever clenched your fists in front of the TV whenever your boyfriend was being interviewed by some mischievous news reporter or journalist. They never make it subtle when casting one too many glances at the Pro’s sweaty, skintight attire, staring into his red eyes for so long that they started looking dumb. Though as much as dark green jealousy occasionally takes root in your subconsciousness, you never act on your displeasure.
In the back of your mind, you always saw it as a sign of clinginess. But Bakugou sees it differently. To him, he’d want nothing more than his girl staking their claim on him. For you to get needy, jealous, possessive. Let the entire world know that you both belong to each other and no one else.
You fix your gaze at his cynical expression that eggs you on. Before you know it, you lunge forward. Your mouth latches onto his neck, arms curling around his shoulders. Bakugou draws you skin-to-skin, his low chuckle reverberating in the depths of his chest.
“Ooh, that’s it,” he encourages, rubbing your back. His other hand palms your ass, rocking you both back and forth, grinding his bulge against the crotch of your jeans. Your teeth cling to him, sinking into his skin. Your lips vibrate against his collarbones while you whimper at the delicious friction on your clit.
“Harder. I wanna see nice ol’ purple marks here,” he orders, relentlessly rolling his hips. You want to slap him on the wrist, your concentration waning as heat quickly pools in your abdomen. As if the grinding isn’t enough, Bakugou effortlessly undos the button of your jeans. He pulls down the zipper before reaching inside and touching you through your underwear.
“Fuck, already this wet from a little grinding? Nasty girl,” he hisses, running his index and middle finger across the ruined crotch of your panties. “Or maybe marking me is getting you all riled up?”
“Shut up–” you mutter half-heartedly. With a pop, your lips leave him. You lean back to evaluate your work. They’re not as noticeable as the marks Bakugou usually gives you, but they’re visible, and they’re purple as requested.
A small trail of violet hickeys adorns the crook of the blond’s neck and collarbones. Your finger traces the path, eyes capturing the sheen of your saliva over the marks. His skin gleams in the sunlight streaming in through the windows.
Reaching inside the pocket of his baggy pants, Bakugou pulls out his phone to turn on the front-facing camera. He gets a clear view of your work on the screen, and his smirk appears on the display. “My girl did that, huh?” He cranes his neck to examine the blemishes from different angles. Soon after, you hear his camera’s shutter release, capturing the image and adding it to his gallery. He should really consider making an album out of these.
Tossing his phone to the side, those piercing red eyes return to you, and your assertiveness fades. He grabs your wrists and leans in to kiss your temple.
“You did well, princess.”
His hushed voice makes your cunt clench and your ears warm. “I'll be sure to show these off later,” he promises, his tone dripping with smugness.
God, you realize how little his hero costume does to hide any of those hickeys. Given that he has to go on patrol again soon, you can expect his neck to be a hot topic in the media. Regardless, you can’t deny the satisfaction that wells up in your chest at the thought.
Katsuki was right. You really are possessive over him. And of course, it goes both ways.
While you’re distracted by your epiphany, he uses this opportunity to unhook your bra, happily discarding the garment. You exhale as he roughly cups the underside of your breast. His breath tickles your perky nipple, strong arm hooking you into him.
The pattern of his breaths are erratic, excitement coursing through his veins. His carmine eyes are lidded as he flattens a tongue against the hardened nub. As Bakugou fully wraps his lips around the stiffening bud, sucking and biting to his heart’s content, mewls part your mouth.
“Your tits still taste fucking amazing,” he mutters, mouth caught between sucking and spewing obscenities. “These tits gonna give me some milk too, princess?”
“Don’t push your luck, mister,” you quip before biting your bottom lip. You concentrate on moving your hips back and forth against his thigh, trying to find the right angle that provides you with the delicious jolt of pleasure you craved between your thighs. With a smack, his lips leave your nipple.
“Guess I didn’t give you enough attention down here since you keep rutting against me like a needy slut.” He swats your ass before gripping the plushness harshly. The mild sting has your pussy clenching. “My baby doesn’t feel satisfied unless she’s getting stretched open by my cock, huh?”
Just a little bit of dirty talk from him is enough to make you whimper pathetically, “Please, ‘suki…”
“Please, what? Gotta tell me more than that, princess.” He tugs the waistband of your pants, teasing you. Never breaking eye contact, Bakugou’s hand sneaks under the edge of his desk. “Use your words, I want to know what I’m doing to you. Don’t skimp on the details.”
A light click goes off, but if you hear it you don’t make it apparent, too focused on the hot blond in front of you that was making your head spin.
“Fuck… ‘Suki, I feel so hot… Need you right now…” You grab his hand showing him your ruined panties by letting the pads of his fingers trail your wet pussy. “See? Look what you did, I’m soaked.”
Bakugou mutters curses under his breath, applying more pressure to your panties to thoroughly inspect the slick saturating the fabric. He couldn’t have asked for a better reaction, finding your pleading to be incredibly sinful and all-too-tempting. He considers it a waste that he isn’t recording anything. Well, maybe it isn’t an entire waste.
“Damn, how are you this messy? This pussy’s fucking sobbing for me.” You nod, sloppily gyrating on top of his hand. For once, Bakugou is considerate to your needs and slides your panties to the side to slip his digits across your bare folds. You both moan in unison, you at the extra relief and him at the slippery honey dripping down his knuckles.
In his eyes he was being generous, granting you his thick fingers prodding your silky walls rather than reduce you to pitifully grinding against him. But, being greedy, you thought he wasn’t being generous enough.
Bakugou’s fingers leave your cunt to sample you, wet digits laying flat on his tongue. “Fuck, I need to lick you clean right now.”
“N-No, ‘suki, jus’ want your cock in me already,” you whine with a pout. However, Bakugou is insistent on stealing more than just a little taste from your sweet cunt.
“Not gonna even let me indulge a little? Must have spoiled you with too much dick last night.” He scoffs, but doesn’t move to discard his uniform to free his hard cock. Instead, he motions you to step down and stand in front of him while he remains perched atop his desk.
He eyes you up and down. “What are you waiting for, princess? I want it all off already.”
Your fingers start moving toward your disheveled blouse. As fabrics pile the floor, you catch the blond licking his lips, lewdly eyeing your panties that slip down your legs to reveal your juices coating your inner thighs.
“Turn around and kneel on top of my chair.”
At his blunt tone, you obey. Dynamight’s luxurious office chair cushions your knees as you carefully lift your body onto it.
“Bend over.”
Without question, you use the arms of the chair as leverage to safely lean forward, spreading your pussy in front of him. As half of your face presses into the cushion of the head rest, you steal a glimpse of his reaction from your peripheral vision.
With a guttural hiss between his teeth, he gets off the desk, pulling the chair closer for an even better look at your glistening center. He palms your ass, rolling the globes in his hands before spreading them, exposing your slick folds.
“You seriously trying to deny me this angel cunt?” His words are emphasized with a quick smack before his tongue dives between your folds. You whine at the contact, his lips fluttering around your clit as it works its way up your slobbering hole.
Knees shaking, you subconsciously muffle your sounds as you press your face into the headrest of the office chair. Not satisfied with your muted cries, Bakugou reaches one hand toward your head. He cups your jaw, turning you more to the side so you aren’t hiding in the cushion. When his tongue swivels around your sensitive bud, your moans resonate across his office with euphoria.
“‘suki! I’m gonna–!”
“Gonna cum? Do it then you slut.”
At your warning, he works his mouth vigorously against your pussy, even adding two fingers into your walls. Your toes curl behind you as your grip on the arms of the chair tighten.
“Fuck, you’re dripping all over my damn office chair.”
Maybe you would’ve issued a half-hearted apology, if not for his tongue and its unrelenting intensity across your sensitive bundle of nerves. You only offer a string of moans that Bakugou happily accepts, smiling into your pussy as he feels you tense up against him.
“Ka..tsuki!!” You practically scream, electricity coursing through your skin as your orgasm shakes your entire body.
“That’s it, princess. Want your taste all over my tongue… So fucking good,” he drones against your folds, not letting a drop go to waste as you slowly come down from your post-orgasmic bliss.
“Ah! ‘Suki, I’m already too sensitive…” You gasp, still feeling him drunkenly licking up and down your slit despite you just coming. Reaching behind you, you weave your fingers through his ash blond hair, nudging at his scalp to try to push him away, but Bakugou’s strength clearly outweighs yours. He grips your wrist, lifting his face off your sloppy pussy of his own volition.
“That sensitive just from my tongue? Oh, sweetheart, I plan on ruining you in my office chair alone.” Keeping his word, he replaces your pliant body with his own, planting himself right on the cushioned seat with his legs spread thoughtlessly. He dashes for the hem of his pants, unfastening the zipper, and pulling down enough articles of clothing for his cock to spring out, stiff and glistening with his arousal.
Lust blown eyes admire the thickness of Bakugou’s shaft, rightdown to the veins on the ridges of his cock. A smirk and chuckle follow in the wake of your heady gawking, swearing that you look like you were about to pounce and give him the best head of his life. Sadly, as he glances at the digital clock perched behind you, he realizes there’s no time.
“Sorry, babe, food’s gonna be here any minute and I need you on my cock right fucking now.” He rolls the office chair closer to get a firm grasp of your hips, motioning you on top of him with rousing urgency. Thighs on either side of his own, you reach over your body to level his cock over your dripping folds.
The blond’s lips curl into a sneer beneath you, hands fondling your breast and ass—the latter spreading your cheek to help you accommodate his size. “Besides, this what you wanted, right? To be–” As you begin sinking down his length, your mouth opens in a soundless mewl. “–split open on me, even after I fucked you into the mattress last night?”
Your teeth tug at your bottom lip while you do your best to bottom out. Katsuki isn’t amused by your muted reaction, pinching your nipple as punishment and spurring his desired noises from you. “What did I say? Answer me, slut, you wanted to get fucked dumb again, didn’tcha?” His words are harsher this time, demanding your attention.
“Yes, yes! Wan’ you to make me your little cockwhore, ‘Suki…” you confess, moaning when you feel his dick fully impale you. At the same time, Bakugou hisses at how your walls mercilessly hug his shaft.
“Yeah princess, I’m going to give you exactly what you need– Fuck! How are you so damn tight?!” It hasn’t even been ten hours since he had sex with you, stretching you into his shape last night until the sun shined, and yet you still had the innate ability to squeeze every ounce of pleasure out of him and then some. At this rate, he’s not going to last. “Need you to move, baby. Ride me already.”
Hearing the urgency in his tone, your hips begin moving on their own, dragging yourself on and off his cock. Hands on his shoulders, you leverage yourself to maintain a steady rhythm that had you both delirious and panting in pleasure. The blond’s thick fingers dig into your soft flesh, growls leaving his lips as fire flares in his veins, threatening to ignite his last ounce of willpower to allow you to keep this sustained tempo.
“F-Feeling good, ‘suki?” you question, looking down at him with a sinful expression painted on your gorgeous face—pretty eyes half-lidded and needy just for him.
“Yeah… God you make me act up all the damn time I–” His cock twitches between your tight folds, eyeing you from below and watching you clasp his hand that’s pawing your breast to gesture to him to play with you some more. The sensual yet genuine smile you give him ultimately breaks his resolve.
Oh, fuck it.
As if chains have snapped around him, Bakugou suddenly shoots up, carrying your body against him. He lays you across his desk quickly but carefully, with little regard for whatever else tumbles and falls off of it except for you.
You squeal in surprise, your arms and legs attempting to find purchase around him before you’re reduced to jelly by the new quickening pace of his cock pounding your insides.
“Oh my god… Katsuki!” The obscene slapping of skin on skin accompanies your desperate cries throughout his office. Arms that were wound around his neck lose their hold on him, pathetically dropping to your sides to clasp Katsuki’s wrists, where he’s pulling your thighs apart to spread you open for his unrelenting thrusts.
“Sorry, princess… you looked so damn hot I couldn’t hold back anymore. Needed to feel you deeper and make you cream already.” His tepid apologies don’t reach your ears as you’re overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of his movements, followed by a searing knot welling up in your abdomen.
By the looks of it, you have no objections to the turn of events, gazing dreamily at him as his hardened body hovers over you. From your point of view, you get glimpses of the sweat dotting his forehead, his nose scrunched in concentration, and narrowed ruby eyes glimmering with feral desire.
With stars in your eyes and features all flushed with warmth and lust, you sing a euphony of I love you’s between whimpers. Your voice catches in your throat when his cock repeatedly hits that sweet spot inside your gummy walls.
Bakugou can’t get enough of you, heart swelling with his affections that he can’t help but flick his wrist to intertwine his hand in yours. Despite his progressively carnal thrusts, he possesses contrasting tender devotions in his voice.
“I love you, princess. It’s been you and no one else. No other bitch can compare,” he repeats over and over like a mantra, a declaration of his loyalty to you and only you. You swear there’s an extra weight behind his words, but you’re too engrossed in the feeling of utter euphoria this man gives you in mind, body, and soul to give it a second thought. It’s as if you’re walking on Cloud 9 as your pussy clenches around him, back arching in the moment that’s pushing Bakugou to the breaking point
“So damn perfect, you were fucking made for me, baby. Give it to me, cum on my cock,” he pleads, “I know you’re almost there, princess.”
“Yea, ‘suki… Wanna cum for you, you make me feel so good,” you murmur brokenly, voice splintering into an incoherent babble that he finds so endearing, caressing your cheek while deepening his brutal pace. That knot in your tummy tightens and when the cord eventually snaps, you cry out, clutching onto his hand.
Katsuki insists he’s never seen a prettier sight than you finally losing yourself all because of him. It urges him to reach his own high and claim you in the only way he knows how—coming in your pretty cunt and dedicating himself wholly to you.
“Pretty angel, you’re making me crazy over here. Fuck! ‘Bout to blow my whole load inside you. That what you want?”
“Mhm! Please..!” You manage a few urgent pleas before Bakugou finally reaches his limit, groans resonating in the wake of his cock stuttering between your silky folds. His growls reverberate from the depths of his chest, thick with rapture as his body is bathed in the sweet sensation that is your entire being swallowing him whole. Ribbons of his cum paint your insides. You feel so full, both physically and spiritually, your heart bursting with love for the man that was spilling his adoration for you merely seconds ago.
Bodies spent and chests heaving, you lay on the desk with Katsuki on top of you. You don’t notice his hand sneaking under the desk, a click going off that goes equally overlooked, enveloped by your collective pants echoing in the stillness that is his hero office.
After a moment, the sensations catch up to you and the weight of his sweaty, heavy torso makes you squirm.
“Feel sticky…”
“There’s a shower and bath right there.” Bakugou grunts, but there’s playfulness behind his deceptively gruff mannerisms.
Your hands trail over his back at his response. “I know, but can you carry me?”
“Fine. Such a princess…”
“I’m your princess though.” You giggle, a teasing lilt in your carefree tone.
The blond can’t help the grin that finds his features. “Hell yeah you are.”
Bakugou pulls on his uniformed cargo pants to scrounge together some semblance of decency as he cradles you against him. Your body is like jelly in the Pro Hero’s strong arms, barely exercising the strength to hold onto him properly as he moves you to the unnecessarily luxurious bathroom built in his office. While setting you down on the counter next to the sink, the pager in his pocket rings.
“Food’s finally here.” He reaches for a hanger on the door, finding a bathrobe to blanket you in. “I’ll be back.”
You raise a brow. “Going out like that?”
“Relax, I’m putting a shirt on obviously.”
“A shirt, huh?” Not at all convinced, you cross your legs. You and him both know he absolutely reeks of sex. The marks you gave him are also an obvious giveaway. No doubt he’ll be an eye-turner to anyone he crosses paths with at the agency.
“Fine, I’ll have someone bring it up.” He meets you in the middle and you happily oblige, shoo-ing him to go about his business once again. The blond rolls his eyes, exiting the bathroom and out the large double doors of his office to wait at the elevator for his delivery.
And when those doors open with a ding, he’s greeted by the very last person he wishes to see. Swathed in the overbearing odor of her pungent perfume, his secretary stands heel-to-heel in the elevator, eyes crossed and a furious blush penetrating the matte layer of her foundation. Her steps traverse the threshold between the lift and hallway. With hands balled into small fists, she jabs the plastic bag of take-out food into the hero’s chest before wagging her finger at his disinterested demeanor.
“You..! You! How dare you?! Why, I should charge you for sexual harassment for what you did! So uncouth! Barbaric even!” She lectures vehemently, voice dripping with malice akin to the insults she practically spits at his face. The benevolent facade she dons everyday to garner his favor crumbles to pieces before his eyes and Bakugou can’t contain his laughter at the pathetic display.
“What’s so funny?!”
“Oh man, you’re a riot aren’t ya? You coulda very well just turn off your speaker if it bothered you so damn much,” he suggests, but the glint in his expression tells the woman he can see right through her. “But you didn’t, did you? You listened in on the whole thing like a fuckin’ pervert.”
At his deduction, the secretary blushes even harder. The fists at her sides shake with an anger that boils under her skin, melting her composure like the wicked witch of the west.
“Why you..! You’re the pervert here! Don’t think you can turn the situation on me when you’re the one who instigated this!” She points an accusing finger in his direction, an empty threat to the indifferent blond.
The hero barely offers her a scoff. “Me? The instigator? You got some fucking nerve saying that when all month you’ve been coming onto me practically on all fours despite knowing I’m a taken man.” Now it’s his turn to retort with equal venom and then some. His sudden switch in demeanor quickly overwhelms the woman as with every step he takes forward, she grows smaller and smaller.
“What’re you going to do? Tell the media? Report me to the authorities? Make a bunch of baseless rumors on your online blog? Well news flash—unlike you I’m irreplaceable. There won’t ever be another hero that has left as big of a mark on this country as I have, and you know it.” He holds his chest proudly after every word. In his presence, the secretary shrinks, gradually cowering back toward the elevator. Any semblance of nerve she held vanishes in front of her.
“Now start packing your things. If I don’t see your station left spotless by tomorrow morning I’ll make sure your days working for the hero industry are numbered.” It’s a threat she doesn’t dare challenge, wordlessly pressing a button on the panel to descend the floors and flee with her tail between her legs. The flabbergasted expression on her face is the last he sees of her.
And just like that, Katsuki feels a weight evaporate from his shoulders, releasing a deep sigh he hadn’t realized he’d been holding. He bounds back to his office with your lunch in tow.
When he returns, he overhears the water running in the bathroom before it’s soon shut off.
“Ah, ‘Suki, you’re back! I just filled the tub with water for our bath.” Your sincere smile meets his eyes which soften at the mere glimpse of you kneeling next to the tub, patiently awaiting his arrival.
“Fuck, babe, you weren’t suppose to move. Should be too sore after what I did t’ya.” He hoists you off the floor and into welcoming arms.
You pout cutely. “C’mon now, I’m not helpless you know.”
“‘Course not. But you’re my princess, remember? All mine.” He settles you both into the depths of the soothing, warm tub, nestling your body against his chest as he presses kisses in every area of tender skin he laid his claim on.
“And I plan to treat you like one for the rest of our lives.”
.
.
The very next morning, he finds a letter of resignation on his desk—the very place the two of you had fucked.

thinking very hard about truck driver toji !
passing mention of sex but no actual nsfw content !
────────────────────────
lugging cargo across the country is no joke, with individual jobs spanning weeks at a time. fortunately, toji somehow ended up with you to keep him busy, his forever passenger princess.
a blurry picture of you two taken on a disposable camera hangs on the dash mirror. the shot is encased in a clear frame and strung up by beaded thread. you’re holding the camera towards the two of you, blowing a kiss towards the lense as toji stands with his arm slung around your shoulders. he’s smiling, a marlboro red pinched between his molars.
toji tries not to smoke in front of you most of the time, opting to pull over at a weigh-in station when his hands start to shake. he’ll kick the same pebble around while you stretch behind the truck, waving at the occasional biker.
it’s rare that men in his profession have anyone to spend the drive with, toji makes the most of it. the older man uses your little stowaway situation as an excuse to take you all across the country, picking up little keychains and stickers for you at every gas station the two of you visit. it’s hard to keep busy when all there is to do is pump gas and fuck, but you’re content with the little dynamic you have.
he’ll pull into a rest stop every time he starts feeling tired, dragging you into the driver’s side seat so he can cradle you in his arms like a little teddy bear. real sleep is done in the truck cab, under a weighted blanket he’d picked up at a strip mall in the mountains.
your “bedroom”, or the truck cab really, is a modest little room behind where the driver’s compartment is. toji tore out the twin sized mattress 2 weeks into your little arrangement, replacing it with a queen sized memory foam one. “a good investment” he called it.
you two rarely if ever sleep in there though. opting for the comfort of a hotel room over the glorified backseat of a sleeping arrangement his truck has. toji can afford it, that much is obvious from how much he spends on room service per week. the man had taught you that a truck driver’s salary was more than enough to keep a girl happy, and with how much you two had been on the road, he was easily reaching the 6-figure mark.
most people would get sick of being forced to spend so much quality time with each other. you never will.
you’ll never get tired of waking up in a different place every morning, spending hours exploring new cities with your favorite boy. you’ll never get tired the way you learn something new about him everyday. a new detail about the family he grew up with, a beauty mark you never noticed on his back, the way his nose scrunches when you say something funny.
you’ll never get tired of the way he stalks up to you after every other rest stop visit, hands clasped behind his back as he prepares to surprise you with whatever trinket he just bought you. and you’ll never regret your decision to be his permanent little sidekick, experiencing every day right alongside him.
────────────────────────
a/n: hii ! i rly rly love this au hehe, i might even like it more than prisoner toji. lmk if this should be a series, and feel free to send in related asks if u want :D

Hey! i just wanted to say that your work is phenomenal! You got me sobbing in bed at 3 in the morning. I was wondering if I could request a Batfam x child!Wayne!Reader (maybe 4/5 years old) and what they’re all like (individually) when picking her up from school? In her class, they were learning about the great Batman, and all the hard work he does for the city, keeping everybody safe and whatnot. And obviously, she’s too small to know Bruce is Batman.. how would they all react to little baby Wayne rambling about cool Batman who has his own car and sidekick? I’d imagine she’s a very talkative kid, very sweet and friendly, and a very big-Daddy’s girl, but it’s completely up to you.
Thanks for listening to my rambling.. and keep up your awesome work!
Baby Wayne

Note: This is one of the most adorable requests ever anon! Thank you for requesting and thank you for your kind words. I hope I’ve done your request justice.

⛤⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽⛧☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅⛤
BRUCE:
He could see the smile on your face from the doorway. Bright and beaming as you sat cross-legged on the floor, leaning forward to listen to your teacher. The second you saw him lingering in the doorframe however, the smile grew and you were up on your feet in seconds and tottering over to him.
Wrapping your arms around his legs you hugged him tightly and looked up at him with big eyes. Picking you up and resting you on his hip, Bruce pressed a kiss to your forehead.
“Hey sweetheart. Good day?”
You nodded excitedly, clinging to your dad. “We learnt about Batman today!” You exclaimed.
Bruce couldn’t help the small smirk that crept onto his face. You were still too young to know about his identity and he did well to keep it from you. You were always exploring and wondering off in the manor. He was sure you would make a fine vigilante one day, but for now he was keep to keep you sheltered.
“Oh really?” He raised a brow.
“Yep!” You said, popping the ‘p’. “He’s awesome! He has a cool car and side kicks! And he keeps the city safe! He’s super cool.”
Bruce bounced you up in his arms, savouring the joy in your voice. “Is that so?”
“Uh-huh.” You nodded. “When I grow up I wanna be just like him Daddy!”
“I’m sure you will be kiddo.” Bruce smiled. “I’m sure you will.”

DICK:
He was waiting by the school gates, leaning up against the metal framing when your class came piling out of the doors. Bruce was out on a meeting, so he was tasked with collecting you from school, which of course he had no problem doing.
When you saw him, he made his way over slowly, watching as your face lit up at the sight of him and you came running over him with your bag hanging halfway off one shoulder.
“Dick look!” You beamed crashing into him as you ran a little too fast. Moving away you pointed to the yellow and black sticker you had plastered to the hem of the coat.
Dick crouched down to your height. “What you got there, squirt?”
“It’s the bat signal.” You announced proudly. “We learnt about it in class today.”
“You learnt about Batman?” Dick asked. He had wondered how long it would be until you began to learn about what they did.
“Yes we learnt about all of the heroes. But Batman is my favourite because he saves the city and he has a sidekick!” You grinned “Robin! I like him too.”
Dick hid his little grin by tussling your hair. He couldn’t wait for you to learn more.
⛤⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽⛧☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅⛤
JASON:
Seeing Jason picking you up was a nice surprise for you when you finished class. You were ecstatic to see him and ran up to him squealing.
“Jay!” You giggled and he picked up and spun you around in the air. “I missed you.”
He had been away on business. You had constantly been asking Bruce about when you would see him again. You had began to miss his face at home.
“Guess what we’ve been learning about!?”
“Hmm.” Jason bit his lip pretending to think “pirate ballerinas”
You placed a playful hit to his chest with a laugh. “No silly. Batman!”
A-ha. Jason thought. this would be interesting. He wondered how much you had been told, though he doubted no matter how much you had learnt, that you had managed to piece things together.
“Was it good?” He asked you.
“It was great! He saves all of the people and is a real hero!” You said waving your arms animatedly. “He’s so brave!”
“He is.” Jason agreed. “Just like you little Wayne”
⛤⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽⛧☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅⛤
TIM:
Tim found you doodling at one of the tables in the library. You had an array of colours sprawled out in front of you as you scribbled on the pieces of paper infront of you.
He peered over your shoulder trying to catch a glimpse of your drawing. You had draw stick figures, which made it hard to go by but even with your messy doodles he could make out the distinctive domino masks of the Robin and the black of Batman’s suit and cowl. He knew them like the back of his hand, so it was no surprise.
“What you drawing, kiddo?” He asked you.
You gripped the drawing with your hands and held it up proudly to him. “Batman and Robin. We learnt about them in class so I wanted to draw them.”
“It’s very good kid.” Tim told you, handing you back the drawing of the lopsided people only for you to hand it back to him.
“Can we put it on the fridge?” You asked curiously “I want to show it to Dad. I bet he thinks Batman is awesome too!” You blabbed “do you think he will like it, Timmy?”
“I’m sure he will.”
⛤⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽⛧☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅⛤
DAMIAN:
Dami was reading in the library when you plonked yourself beside him. Well…kind of. You struggled up onto the couch first.
“What are you doing?” You frowned, trying to read see over his shoulder.
He was reading up on one of Gotham’s villains that was causing havoc in the city. His first instinct was to shut it so you couldn’t read any of it…but then he remembered that you were still only learning to read.
“I’m reading a book on Batman.” He half-lied, setting the book to one side so you could clamber into his lap.
“Ooh I like Batman too.” You nodded.
Damian frowned. You weren’t supposed to know about that yet. “Where did you learn about him?”
“At school.”
Damian relaxed a little.
“He has a super cool cape! And a big car that he drives really fast around the city to stop the bad guys!”
“Sounds dangerous.” Damian smirked.
“Yes…” you trailed off. “But he is allowed to do it because he is Batman.” You decided.
“Is that right? He teased.
“Yes.
⛤⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽⛧☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅⛤
I hope that was okay! I hope you don’t mind that I changed it a little at the end: I didn’t want it to get too repetitive.

✎ᝰ BAKUGOU KATSUKI ; — bakugou hates feeling jealous. but you make it worthwhile.
࿄ ! warnings — f!reader. absolutely none. sfw. / note. katsuki is a cutie patootie.
Tumblr media
jealous bakugou is something else. he doesn’t think he’s all that possessive of you at all - he doesn’t care if your outfit is skimpy or if you have guy friends. bakugou regards himself as very secure in his relationship with you.
until he hears what guys have to say about you. then he gets a little crazy.
it’s an open day where he’s helping a group of lackies and hero interns with integrating into his agency and it’s pretty innocent at first. kiri and deku are doing most of the heavy lifting with talking with the prospective sidekicks and heroes (katsuki is very content with the extras he has already). he’s already kind of distracted by seeing you this morning - you offered to lift a hand and do some extra work around his agency for today due to the unusual amount of people scoping his place out and why would he pass on an offer to see you around his agency all day?
unfortunately for katsuki, it means that he’s being increasingly more distant than he usually is and the interns can feel the disgusted energy emitting from every fibre in his body. it’s not like he’s trying to hide it though - what a waste to have you come to his workplace and only catch glimpses of your hair and your scent.
“kacch- dynamight? what do you look for in a sidekick who wants to potentially join this agency,” asks izuku, pulling his friend out of his thoughts. katsuki looks at the crowd of young, probably high school kids and they basically cower under his gaze. he recognises a few of them from other, unimportant events he can’t seem to specifically recall. god, he wants to bite back at them but he shrugs in annoyance.
“don’t piss me off and do as you’re told. simple as but it seems like you lot would still f-”, deku quickly interjects katsuki and yells out, “okay! let’s take a quick 10 minute break! just have a look around and we’re free if you have any questions you want to ask!”
ᝰᝰᝰᝰᝰ
“what is with you today, kacchan? you’re more… insolent than usual,” asks izuku slowly, watching the expression on his blond’s face meld into a face of indifference.
“maybe it’s the fact that i don’t care about these idiots who’re just making a goddamn mess of the place. i don’t need more extras to fuck shit up f’me,” bakugou grumbles. kirishima pats his moody friends on the back and goes to speak when-
“well at least the rumours about dynamight are true. that guy is a fucking mood killer,” says some guy standing in the corner of the reception area, who looks to be a sidekick and is accompanied by other unknown up and coming ‘extras’ as Katsuki woukd put it.
“tell me about it. the guys here fucking suck. for once, i’m wishing that we were stuck with the female pros instead. have you seen uravity? she’s sexier in real life,” pipes up some other guy and the rest holler and hoot.
the three pros look at each other, with bakugou looking at kirishima and deku with knowing, smug eyes.
“i’m just going to interrupt their conversation-” says kirishima, attempting to walk over until another lackey pipes up.
“but have you seen y/h/n? what a woman. shame she’s not in her hero suit. what i would do for a woman like that,” grunts some pathetic looking guy. he’s spindly and limp and looks akin to a wet noodle.
it doesn’t stop katsuki from seething though.
kirishima and izuku slowly turn to look at their friend - who’s practically steaming in his hero uniform. all katsuki can see is red and violence - which isn’t really unlike from what he normally sees but it’s different this time. this time it’s about you.
he sees the group of gross, teenage boys point to where you’re standing: you’re leaning over the receptionist desk and just from the behind can katsuki appreciate how beautiful you are. you’re wearing a short black turtleneck dress with orange accents (you told him that you wanted to wear his colours to his agency) and in any other setting would katsuki run his hands over you and compliment and kiss you till you were shying away from him.
bakugou knew that you got unwanted attention, regardless if he was standing by you like a rabid guard dog - you were gorgeous and you knew that. he also knew that you could hold your own against a hoard of horny teenage losers and you would never look twice at them when you had him. still, that logic went out the window when he could see the same group of kids leering and pointing at where your thighs met the bottom of your dress and he wanted to kill them.
kirishima got wind of this just by looking at the blond’s expression, “please don’t blow up the place - they’re just dumb kids! think about how hard we worked for this agency,” pleads kirishima.
“he’s too far gone,” izuku sadly laments as they watch bakugou stride on over to you and ignore both the men’s pleas and bargains. he aggressively pushes past the disgusting collective of eyes and they break apart in shock at his intrusion through them.
you’re, however, too enamoured in your conversation with his assistant and mina- you’re looking at a pinterest board and he wants to bite you for being so cute in front of everyone. it makes him even angrier that those extras would ever think that you would give them more than a side eye and a polite wave.
you feel katsuki before you see him - his uniform-clad arm holds your waist between the desk as he slots himself into your conversation.
“so what’s this about? whatcha talking about?” katsuki asks and mina and his assistant giggle at his intrusion while you roll your eyes and turn yourself sideways to look at him.
“i would tell you but mina and akako might kill me,” you tell your boyfriend, resting a manicured hand on his chest. akako, bakugou’s assistant, laughs and nods her head:
“sorry, dynamight, our conversations are sacred. might i add your timetable tells me that you’re due to take the interns on a practice patrol in less than… 20 minutes?”
katsuki narrows his eyes at this and you chastise akako for poking at him, “leave him alone! i want him here,” before resting a hand on his stubbled jaw and scratching at his face. katsuki’s eyes close at the sensation and he opens them to take a good look at your face. the stupid kids are still a embittering thought in the back of his mind and in any given situation, he would never do this. but sometimes bakugou’s heart goes against his common sense and this was one of those times.
he leans down to slots his lips over yours and presses a gloved hand into the small of your back and you smile into the kiss while a few “awwhs,” emit in the background. bakugou opens an eye slightly to see in his peripheral vision that the gaggle of the limp-faced sidekicks are looking at him in a mixture of shock and fear and embarrassment. he also sees kirishima and izuku grab them up to guide them out of the room.
when you break from the kiss to brush at the hair on the nape of his head, he mumbles, “have i told you how much i love that dress on you?”
you giggle a little and lean up to kiss the corner of his mouth, “a few times. but you can keep telling me if you want. ‘s not like i’ll get tired of hearing it,” you whisper to him and it’s like you’re the only people in the room. he’ll tell you about what spurned this on another day. in the meanwhile, he bask in your attention until he has to go and entertain those useless jerks. it’s not like he’s going to employ any of them.
bakugou would say this is a mission accomplished in his book. yeah, he’s a little jealous and possessive. but with the way you look at him, he finds himself caring less and less about what others have to say about you.
doesn’t mean he won’t try knock them in the side of their head if the time calls for it.

Danny & Constantine, Orange, Butterscotch Ripple
@imbreonix Prompt fill set #4
It started out as a joke that turned into an actual event: Bring Your Sidekick To Work Day. It sounded absurd, of course it did. The Justice League was hardly work and certainly not a social club, but once it had been said people started to actually think about it. More and more of the heroes were taking on mentorship rolls for the next generation. While the heroes, of course, tried their best to provide what their mentees needed, they were still grown, experienced heroes and their sidekicks were kids.
Kids who lived a life that most could never understand.
Eventually it have been talked about enough in passing and over rushed meals and before meetings that it ended up on the agenda.
“Robin believes it would be beneficial for the younger heroes to know others in the same positions as themselves,” Batman had explained, as if that answered anything. The Big Bat wouldn’t even clarify who Robin was.
But there they were, Bring Your Sidekick To Work Day. It actually was a pretty nice event with snacks, drinks, and several enthusiastic sidekicks. It turned out Robin was Batman’s sidekick.
“Partner,” Robin insisted boldly, whenever the term sidekick was used within his hear range (which was disturbingly good).
The kid was the very opposite of Batman: bright, personable, and always in motion. Flash was more than a little concerned how quickly Robin and Kid Flash seemed hit it off. “They’re plotting something.”
“Hn,” was Batman’s reply, though he was watching the two whispering sidekicks too.
All in all it was a cheerful success.
It made John’s skin crawl. He jiggled the unlit cigarette in his fingers. He didn’t do social events, not outside of bars, and he really, really didn’t want to be here.
“We can just go back to the House,” a small, nervous voice suggested hopefully from behind John.
That was the thing, though, he wasn’t here for his own sake.
“No, we can’t,” John said with a sigh.
“We really can, though. We haven’t even talked to anyone. I bet they haven’t even noticed we’re here—”
“John! I did not think you would be attending,” Wonder Woman said as she approached, a smile in place. A good chunk of the founding members trailed after her.
“Fuck.”
“Yeah, well,” John said with a little shrug. He didn’t admonish the kid for cussing, he didn’t have a leg to stand on there, but by Superman’s puzzled face the Big Blue had clearly heard it. “Figured I had better bring the kid.”
“The kid?” Hal repeated incredulously.
John reminded himself he really shouldn’t punch his teammates.
“Yeah, the kid,” John said. He stepped aside to reveal Danny who had been hiding behind him. “Geist, Justice League, Justice League, Poltergeist.”
“Um, who, Constantine?” Flash asked, sounding nervous.
John looked to his right, which for all appearances, was an empty spot of air. “Seriously, kid?”
“Sorry,” Danny whispered.
“It’s okay, kid,” John said, holding back a sigh. The kid was sensitive to that sort of thing, so John had been trying. (He still messed up plenty, but he was trying.) John looked back the Justice Leaguers and shrugged. “Ghost. Visibility is like that sometimes.”
“Ah,” Diana said with a sage nod. John admired the woman for how nothing seemed to phase her. She simply looked to where John had been looking and smiled. “Hello, Poltergeist. Welcome to Bring Your Sidekick To Work Day.”
“Partner!” a kid dressed like a damn traffic light called from across the room where he was talking to who was clearly a mini Flash.
“Oh,” Danny said. (It was clearly weirding out some of the heroes to hear Danny but not see him.) “I’m not… John doesn’t let me help that much? I don’t know if I count as a sidekick.”
“That’s because last time you tagged along you went intangible and fell through a bridge, kid,” John grumbled and then immediately felt bad. “You know we’re working on it.”
“Yeah,” Danny mumbled.
John couldn’t see Danny, not any more than the others, but he could picture the way the kid would be scuffing his toe on the floor, head down as he rubbed at the back of his neck.
John sighed. “Ain’t your fault kid, powers take time to master.”
“Robin,” Batman called.
Immediately the tiny traffic light was literately bounding across the space to stand next to Batman. The kid smiled up at the Big Bat like the man had hung the moon.
“Yes, B?”
“This,” Batman said, nodding to the empty space, “is Poltergeist. He came with Constantine.”
“Oh,” Robin said. He spun to face the spot of air and held out his hand without hesitation. “Come, Kid Flash and I are— um,” Robin shot Batman a look, “talking. You can join us! I bet you will be really useful!”
Flash mouthed the word ‘useful’ with a terrified look on his face, but no one actually said anything while Robin just stood there, smiling, with his hand out. And then Robin’s grin impossibly widened, his hand closed around nothing, and he took off across the room.
“…anyone else worried about that?” John asked after a moment.
“So worried,” Flash said.
“Hn,” Batman added.
“Right then. I need a glass of shitty punch to spike,” John said and abandoned his teammates to find the refreshments. Thank the gods, the fuckers, for hip flasks.
-
“I live with a ghost now, Bats, you’ve got to up your skills if you want to sneak up on me anymore,” John said before taking another sip of his much improved punch.
Batman stepped up into the corner of John’s vision, which felt like such a Bat thing to do, so John felt the placement was very purposeful. John wouldn’t complain, it let him watch Batman without taking his his eyes off where Danny was sitting with Robin, Kid Flash, and Wonder Girl. Danny was pretty see through, but he was slowly becoming more visible the longer he spent in the company of the other teen heroes.
“How long have you had him?” Batman asked.
John snorted. “That’s what you go with? Not how it works to fuck a ghost?”
Hal and Aquaman weren’t as quiet as they thought they were, but maybe that was on purpose. Maybe they had wanted John to hear. He just hoped the kids hadn’t. He might not have a clean mouth, but even he had limits.
“He doesn’t have to be your blood to be your son,” Batman said in that certain way of his.
It had John finally glancing over at Batman. It was a lot to admit and John hated to be on uneven grounds. “How long have you had yours?”
No one would ever believe him, but John could swear that Batman almost smiled.
“Nearly five years.”
John hummed and took another sip of the punch. “Only six months, not even. And he’s not my son. Kid deserves better than me as a da.”
“They always deserve better,” Batman said, his voice a low rumble that John swore he could feel in his battered bones. “We just have to try to be better.”
“Yeah, well,” John said with a bitter chuckle. “I’m not you, Bats, I don’t think I have better in me.”
“Yes you do, you’re here, after all,” Batman pointed out.
John swallowed and looked back the kid, his kid. Danny was almost solid now. His white hair floated as he threw back his head in laughter at something Robin had said.
“Yeah… yeah I am.”

AN: So. So. This has gotten away from me. I blame Moku. So much blame. I can't promise I'll continue it but there is... there is a good bit of plotting TO continue it. It would be after I get done with City Pigeons Bleed Green though, as that's my current family feels fic.
If it gets continued we have a John/Bruce tired dads with issues slow burn fuck buddies to lovers, Danny and Dick being friends (and family), canon divergence, Tim joins the Bat family early, Bats with magic (and the world should fear them), and Alfred's judgemental eyebrow.

Cookies and Flowers
Tumblr media
Summary: Bakugo doesn't like Valentine's Day. But this year is different. tw's: none. just a little cliché Pairing: Bakugo x f!reader
Tumblr media
Bakugo Katsuki despised Valentine's Day.
He wasn't a big fan of all the chocolate on his desk. He didn't want his teeth to rot anyway. He found it annoying how all his friends, sidekicks and workers kept popping by his office to leave him cookies, chocolate and other sugary delights. He'd just grumble and dump them into the stash in his desk drawers.
It wasn't just the sweets that annoyed him. Everywhere he turned, he saw lovers on dates, holding hands, hugging, doing what lovers did. Usually, he paid no mind to it, but pushing thirty, the thought sometimes crossed his mind. He longed for the feeling of loving and being loved. It annoyed him.
But this year was different.
This year, he was secretly hoping to receive something from a certain someone. That certain someone being his secretary he hired around seven months back- you. Ever since you started working at his agency, he's been buying an extra cup of coffee on his way to work, finding little excuses to barge into your office with silly questions he already knew the answers to.
He loved the way you fussed around him, scheduling his meetings, making sure he was on time everywhere, getting his documents ready, and organising the files. Just you minding your business and doing your job made him a mush.
So this year, he was okay with Valentine's.
After the patrol, he made sure to pass by your office to ask if he had any appointments or meetings. You were giving out chocolate to one of the sidekicks, a bright smile on your face. You caught his eye, giving him that big grin of yours that made his heart ache for you. When the sidekick left the room, Bakugo stepped in, walking over to your desk.
"Good morning, sir." You greeted.
"Mornin'. Told ya to call me Bakugo."
"I keep forgetting." You tried not to blush under the presence of your boss, looking away from his scarlet eyes, diverting your attention to your laptop screen instead.
"Do I have any meetings or appointments?" He asked.
"Let me see," you bit your lip as you opened the calendar, looking into Bakugo's schedule.
Bakugo was preoccupied by your lip being attacked by your teeth. He put a hand on the desk, leaning over, the other hand reaching to free your lip. Your head snapped up to him, your jaw almost dropping when he smirked at you and crossed his muscular arms across his chest. You gulped, quickly looking at your screen again, feeling the sleeping butterflies wake up.
"Um- looks like you don't have any meetings for now." You told him, forcing yourself to look up at him and give him a shaky smile. He gave you a plain 'okay' and stomped out of your office.
You leaned back in your chair, bringing your fingers to your lips where his thumb once was. With a sigh, you half-heartedly went back to working on your laptop.
---
Bakugo felt childish. It was closing time, and he received a ton of chocolates, cards and sweets, but none of them were from you. He was aware you gave out chocolates to everyone at the agency. Why not him? Not that he got to complain. He didn't have the guts to give you the roses hiding in his locker.
He felt like a whiny middle schooler complaining about not receiving chocolate. He muttered a curse at himself and got up from his revolving chair. He had to make sure everyone left and then close the agency. He swung the door open, not expecting to see you standing there.
"What are you doing here? It's closing time." He said after a few seconds of staring at you blankly.
"Well... I baked some cookies for you last night." You said shyly, holding out a decorative cookie bag for him. He froze in place, eyes darting back and forth between you and cookies. He finally took the little bag from your hand, undoing the ribbon to see heart-shaped cookies with white frosting and pink lines.
"Thanks," he scratched his cheek. Just the fact that you went through the trouble of baking him cookies made his chest feel warm and fuzzy.
"Anytime." You smiled at him, turning to leave.
"Oi, wait." His voice stopped you. He went to the lockers in the corner of his office, unlocking it and pulling a big bouquet of roses. You gaped at it, your lips parting in disbelief. You were receiving flowers from your boss, also known as the number two hero you had a crush on.
"For me?"
"No, they're for the wall behind you." A roll of red eyes. "F'course they're for you, dumbass."
You took the bouquet from him, looking up at him with a blush, half your face hidden behind the roses. "Thank you."
"It was nothing," he said, bringing a hand behind his head. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it again, looking for the courage to say the words he wanted to say.
"We should finish closing." Your voice snapped him out of his thoughts. "I really love the flowers, by the way. Thank you again."
"Stop sayin' thanks over and over again." He grumbled, closing his office door and locking it, still holding the cookie bag.
Together, you two switched the lights off and locked the doors before stepping outside the agency and locking the main door. The wind hit your face, bringing some of your hair onto your face. You pushed them back and glanced up at the tall pro hero, already looking at you.
"See you on Monday, then." You smiled.
"No."
"Wh-"
"Are you free tomorrow?" He asked, cutting your question short.
"It's the weekend, so yeah." You replied.
"Okay. I'm taking you out tomorrow." He said, savouring your baffled reaction, a smirk dancing on his lips.
You were trying to figure out if he was asking you out on a date because that definitely wasn't asking- that was ordering. Either way, you weren't complaining. "S-sure. I'll be waiting."
"You better." He couldn't fight the smile creeping up on his face.

pro hero!bakugou x sidekick!reader | fluff, mutual pining, blatant flirting, bakugou calls reader darlin', bakugou is soft(ish) | cw: injury, mentions of alcohol, name calling (idiot), kisses kisses kisses
-bakugou tends to your injury, pining for you nearly as much as you do for him-
Tumblr media
Your arm burns in waves, like kindling fire, the plain between your elbow and wrist a bramble of red and purple. It stings like a million tiny thorns pricking your skin.
"Why'd ya get in the way, idiot!" Bakugou's words are fierce and his brow is drawn, but you see the way his cheeks flush. He's embarrassed, guilt-ridden though it's not his fault. Not really.
You were both too overzealous for your own goods, determined to land the final blow on the villains. But his quirk was bigger, more explosive, harder to stop when your hands inevitably collided. You're just lucky your arm took the brunt of it.
Still, you smile despite the pain and his frown deepens, "What? Ya hit yer head too?"
You take a step forward, then two, crossing the threshold of your front door, reveling in the way his blush travels to his ears. "Did you come all the way here just to nag me?" There's a lilt of amusement in your voice, and he huffs, exasperation on his breath. "Or are you finally gonna give me that?"
You point to the bag dangling from his fingertips, pharmacy label half hidden by his baggy combat trousers. He's still in costume, mask pushed up over his wild, blonde hair, light sheen of sweat dotting his forehead and shoulders.
He's a proper distraction from the pain at least.
His gaze falls to his own hand, as if he'd entirely forgotten. There's a palpable moment of hesitation, and then he grunts, knuckles clenching; he thrusts it against your chest.
"Did'ya sterilize it, at least?"
You're half listening, shuffling through the contents of the bag. "Mhm, rinsed it with water when I got home."
"Yer hopeless, darlin'."
You shrug, "If a little burn could take me out, I wouldn't be much of a hero, now would I?"
He snorts, "If ya were such a good hero, you'd have dodged in the first place."
"You think?" You humor his attitude, heart swelling in your chest when you spot your favorite candy hidden beneath the ointments and bandages. You have half a mind to tease him about it. "Are you gonna help me put this on?"
His arms fold across his chest, half a scowl twisting his face. He leans back, tapping a heavy boot against the floorboards. "And why would I do that?"
He must think he's subtle but you read him like a book, finger the pages, read between the lines. There's worry in his brow, guilt, turmoil, anger directed at his own self.
You figured it would help alleviate his conscience, at least.
"That's fine. I'll get around to it eventually." You turn on your heel, adding a cheeky "probably" to accentuate the wave of your hand, nudge him into action. It works.
Warm fingers encircle your wrist and you bite your tongue, suppress the laugh inching it's way up your throat. Predictable, cute. It takes everything in you not to grin.
Two big hands push you down by the shoulders, cushions folding beneath your thighs. Bakugou holds a palm out expectantly and you place your own atop his, reveling in the way his nose scrunches in frustration.
You don't miss the way he lets it linger - just for a moment - before finally swatting it away with a half-hearted flick of the wrist. "The ointment, idiot."
You relent, handing him the thin white tube. He spreads a stripe down his fingertips, seat dipping beside you; he extends his opposite hand. "Now your hand."
You grin, fingers gently curling around his own. It's not meant to be romantic, the way he draws you forward, presses your knuckles to his chest. He's just trying to get a better look at the wound, head tilting this way and that. But his hand is so warm, and he's so pretty from this angle, and when his eyes rise to meet yours his breath hitches in his throat; and so does yours.
It's intimate, familiar.
It makes you want to break whatever this unspoken 'something' is that the two of you have fostered - this growing affection you're both too proud to admit that wears on you, leaves you yearning to lean just a little closer and finally concede.
Just like all those nights ago, when he got a little too drunk at the hero convention, quickly annoyed by the crowds and reporters, the loud, boasting heroes. His champagne glass was quickly emptied once more, grunting when he pushed back in his chair. You remember leaning closer, close enough to discretely ask if he was alright. His red hot stare followed, burned through your chest and down to your core, left you shifting restlessly in your seat.
The air was thick when he finally careened upward, swaying perilously as he took you by the wrist, led you up and out of the dining hall until it was just the two of you, alone in an empty corridor. You could still hear the echo of stranger's voices, but it didn't bother him, not when he crowded you against the wall, not when his big hand fell to the space beside your head, or when his face dipped to linger just close enough to have your heart beating wildly in your chest.
"What about the party?"
"'as boring." He'd replied, fingers 'round your wrist, lingering on your pulse; he feels it stutter beneath his touch. "Ya scared?"
You would be, should be, if it was anyone else. Big, leering, all rippling muscle and explosive temper - but it was Bakugou, your mentor, your best friend, heart of a hero and handsome as hell. You've loved him as long as you've known him.
"No."
He'd grinned, leaned forward til' his lips found yours, deeper, sweeter than you'd ever imagined, and gods you had, too many times.
"Good."
You're so lost in thought that you miss the way skin meets skin, thin buffer of ointment between you, and it burns - his fingers against your aching forearm. Your cheeky smile twists into a grimace and you can almost taste his guilt.
"Quit bein' a baby." Bakugou's bark holds no bite, touch softening until his rough fingers border featherlight. "Yer a hero, r'member."
You watch as he carefully applies the medicine, touch gentling each time you flinch until he's barely touching you at all.
"You've said that a lot today. 'Hero'." You muse. "It's usually sidekick this, sidekick that."
He shoots you a look before wiping the ointment from his fingers. "Yer my sidekick."
"Yeah?" You tilt your head, leaning forward to rest your chin on your unattended hand. "And what's the difference?"
He could answer you honestly, if he wanted. You're capable, brave, strong in your own right - beautiful to boot. You're the best of the best; Bakugou would never settle for less after all. Not that he was going to admit that.
Instead his lips twist in amusement, curling, lopsided, askew; you realize you won't be getting a straight answer.
"Ya should know by now when t' stay out of my way, is the difference." He pulls a bandage as big as his fist from the bag, pressing one corner to the flat of your palm, working it up and around until it reaches your wrist, and further still. "Was perfectly capable of handlin' it on my own."
"Seemed like you had your hands full with the big guy," you quip back, rubbing your thumb absently over the scratchy bandage. "Was I supposed to watch while the other one pummeled you from behind?"
He quirks a brow, you're not sure if he's annoyed or amused. "Woulda been fine. How d'ya think I made it to the top twenty, 've practically got eyes on the back of my head."
"You sure? Think I recall a time or two you've been whacked upside the head."
His eyes stray for only a moment, simmering up at you beneath dark lashes. "Think we might need t' get yer eyes checked, darlin', seems yer seein' things."
"Guess I need a hearing test too, since I remember you being a total crybaby about it."
He centers the tips of his thumb and pointer just above your brow, fingertips bouncing off your forehead, a tepid flick! and he's resuming his handiwork.
"Hey!" you pout, rubbing the offended area with your unfettered hand. "I'm a patient, you're supposed to be nice to me!"
"And who's fault is that." He grins, light and easy and gone in an instant, with a flash of realization, guilt that reaches his eyes and worries his brow. It's his, still.
You sigh, "Look at me." And he does, begrudgingly as it may be. "It's not your fault. I should have trusted you more. And you should have trusted me. We're both idiots so quit blaming yourself." You lightly flick his forehead in return; he doesn't flinch, eyes never leaving your own. "Finish the wrapping and we'll call it even, yeah?"
He grumbles something lost on you, stretching the last bit of fabric beneath your elbow and tucking it into itself. He turns your arm over in his palm, lightly, carefully inspecting it before leaning back against the cushions. You can feel his guilt dissipate, the stress in his shoulders slowly deflating.
"Ya hurt anywhere else?" His voice is low, quiet. He desperately hopes not.
You think for a moment, read his face, his body language, and then you're rubbing the space above your brow, faking a pout if only to lighten the mood. "Yeah, some brute bruised my forehead earlier, think it needs medical attention."
He crosses his arms, muscles flexing, brow tightening in discontent. "I'm being serious."
You struggle to suppress the laugh bubbling up in your chest. "So am I. What a devastating injury, I fear I won't live long." You dramatically throw yourself over his lap, knuckles laid flat over your brow. There's a conflicting look in his eye; you struggle to read it. "If only a big, handsome hero woul-"
You nearly miss the annoyed huff, the subtle roll of his eyes, too enamored in the way he encircles your wrist with one big hand, guides it to rest against his chest before leaning down and pressing his lips to your forehead.
You're sure there's hearts in your eyes when he straightens his shoulders, hand still idle against his heartbeat; his thumb absently strokes the soft underside of your wrist but his gaze doesn't linger. A hint of a blush creeps up his neck, eyes fixated on the opposite corner of the room. "Done bein' a crybaby?"
You try and fail, miserably so, to hide the delight dancing in your chest and curling your toes. There's a grin splitting your cheeks when you sit up, face an inch from his own. "Mhm."
You can feel his breath, his hesitation, the slippery, fluttering feelings he's struggling to catch, and name, and put into words. He decides it's easier to turn his back to them, to you - again.
It's always the same song and dance, one step forward, two steps back.
He's up in a moment, fidgeting with his tank, his gloves, his mask, anything he can get his hands on. You sigh, pushing off the couch, taking one step, two, arms wrapping snug around his middle. "What're ya doin'?"
"Checking something."
"And what's that?"
"Whether or not you have eyes on the back of your head." He ignores your teasing, so you press a little further, tease a little more. "Either you don't," you squeeze him tighter, closer, smush your cheek against his back. "Or you totally just let me hug you."
He croons his head to stare you down, if looks could kill, you'd be very very toasty right about now. Still you laugh, hide your smile in the shadow of his broad shoulders, tip toe around him when twists around to face you.
Finally he catches you, two big hands clamped down on either shoulder. You wait for him to scold you, tongue between your teeth, bated breath in your lungs. But he only grunts, fingers curling around the base of your neck until he can slant his lips over your own.
You sigh, it's the second time Katsuki Bakugou's lips have been on yours. But they no longer taste of saltines, white wine, impulse or hesitation; it's not some drunken mistake or whimsy he'll pretend to have forgotten by morning. This time he's kissing you because he wants to. Because the feelings he harbors are just the same as yours.
And when he pulls away his red eyes have mellowed, a dull amber, an expectant cinnabar. There's a palpable silence, one beat, two, three - possibly. His impatience gets the better of him. "Well?"
You stifle a laugh, keen up at him, hands absently against his chest. "Well what?"
"What d'ya mean 'well what'?!"
What ever self control you had wavers, the incredulous look in his eyes sending you over the edge until your devolving into a fit of laughter.
"What's so funny, huh?"
"'m sorry." The laughter rattles you, chest like a suitcase too small to pack away the joy that fills you, spills over the brim in fits of laughter. It's infectious; Bakugou grins.
Your hands cup his cheeks. "You're too cute not to tease."
He sucks on his teeth. "Cute huh?" His hand cups your wrist, thumbs the bandage, careful, cute. "I nearly cooked ya and 'm 'cute?'"
You lean forward, bump your nose against his. "Mhm."
"There's somethin' wrong with you."
"Yeah, it's called the guy I like is completely oblivious and won't tell me he likes me."
"I kissed you, twice. If ya didn't take the hint, that's on you."
You're smiling when you press your lips to his - quick, tepid, chaste, and over and over and over again.
He breaks away, eyes full of suspicion. "What was that for?"
"What? Didn't you take the hint?" You slant your mouth over his, linger a little longer this time. "I like you." You kiss him again, again, again.
He snorts, palm falling to the small of your back, big hand heavy on your skin. "Point taken."
He dips his head low, kisses you, soft and slow, fingers flexing against your shirt, dragging you closer when you move to pull back. "I like ya." His breath is hot against your mouth. "Always have."

The Contract Pt1
Context: When you broke up with Katsuki, you thought it was the end for you. No marriage. No family. No white picket fence. You had spent so much time on Katsuki and now it all just fell to the wind. But what if a certain green haired hero offered you a contract, offered you the dream life of security and happiness all for the small price of being his wife? Love wasn’t in the plan but maybe it was in the fine print.
Basically: Reader dumps Katsuki and goes for Izuku.
Main Pairing: Midoriya Izuku x Reader
<Masterlist> <PART 2>
Warning: Infidelity, Cheating, brief MxM smut, burning buildings, Izuku being superman for like 5 seconds, tension, angst, comfort
If anyone would have asked you if you were ever insecure of your relationship with Bakugou Katsuki, you would have said no. You would have actually laughed in their face for ever suggesting such a thing. For ever suggesting for a second that your Bakugou, your Katsuki, would ever cheat on you. That he would ever have eyes for anyone other than you. That he would ever find solace in someone else’s touch that wasn’t you.
Because Bakugou Katsuki was not a cheater.
He was a loyal and faithful man.
Or... that’s what you would have told yourself five minutes ago.
Now you weren’t entirely sure what to expect.
You had come back a few hours early from your abroad trip. You worked with the Hero Commission in media, specifically as a non-hero face for the media. A spokesperson for heroes and a correspondent and representative for the Hero Commission. It was a very stable job, very good pay, access to the elite life. It was all you could have imagined.
It was actually how you met Bakugou. He was an upcoming sidekick that had just exited out of UA with the rest of his classmates with a bang, and you were tasked with getting acquainted with them and getting close to them. It wasn’t really that hard. Most of them were pretty extroverted individuals. All you really had to do was bump into a pink woman and a man with electric blond hair and suddenly you were all friends. What came with knowing the upcoming sidekicks at the time, closer than others, also come with the territory of defending them from the media and speaking on their behalf.
You made them look good. You sold everything for them. You yourself were a predominant face in the media for the commission so you did it more than just out of the job but having known how it felt under that spotlight.
But then you met Bakugou. Bakugou was someone you never thought you would get close to. He was brash. He was annoying. He was a stuck up, over confident swine. Yet he captured your heart with those crimson eyes of his and suddenly you couldn’t even feel the ground underneath your feet. He swepped you up in his upcoming world and you let him. He was the now rising hero. The Number Two ProHero of all of Japan. And you were the non-hero face of the hero commission, an agent that specialised in the UA alumni that had took Japan by storm.
The two of you made a fantastic couple, outdoors and indoors. You managed to gravitate around each other like no one else could.
You gave him close to over six years of your life. You supported him, watched him rise in the ranks and as a hero and as a man. You did everything for him that you could. You patched him up after fights. You defended him in front of the media, in front of the commission. You would have given him both your kidneys if it meant that he would be alive and he would stay by your side. If he would be the man you knew who cooked and cleaned for you. The man who would die for you. The man that would burn the world in a fury of explosions just to see you smile.
You couldn’t understand how after all that, you could find him fucking his best friend. Your best friend.
Actually, to be more accurate, best friend was fucking him.
And by the looks and sounds of it, he was doing a pretty damn good job.
You stood in the doorway frozen in place. You weren’t sure where to look or if you even wanted to look. Your current boyfriend of six years, the Number Two ProHero Dynamight, was being forced face first into your black silk covers on your bed as his bestfriend, your best friend, the Number Six ProHero Red Riot was pounding him from behind.
Now if you had any less self respect, you might have found this hot. Actually, it was hot. Hearing your boyfriend cry out, whimpering as he could barely breathe, his cheeks puffy... well it was something you had thought about late at night more than once. However, you do have enough self respect to notice the big elephant in the room.
Your boyfriend was cheating on you.
You dropped your bags instantly making sound, causing both ProHeroes to look up at you. You stood motionless as both sets of crimson eyes looked to you. You looked between both men. “What... the... fuck.” You let out quietly.
Bakugou was stiff in fear, his pupils shrinking as his crimson gaze was locked onto you. This was not supposed to happen. This was not supposed to be how it turned out. He was not supposed to be underneath Kirishima Eijiro with his monstrous cock stuffed inside of him as his gorgeous partner stood in the doorway in front of him. Or at least not in any of his sober thoughts, this was not supposed to happen.
“B-baby...” He started breathless as he pushed himself up with his hands. “I-I... I can explain... This isn’t what it looks like.”
You were still stuck in place. “Eijiro’s fucking you in the ass.” You stated clearly.
Bakugou paused. “Okay, it is. It is what it looks like but...” He elbowed Kirishima in the ribs shaking the now pale redhead out of his stoic dissociation of this whole moment. Quickly Kirishima got off of him and Bakugou slipped to the floor grabbing his boxers. He hopped around for a second shoving his briefs on as if he wasn’t just being stuffed with dick a few seconds before.
You looked up at Kirishima. He couldn’t meet your gaze. The huge prohero, the strongest man you knew, he couldn’t look at you. His shoulders were tense as he looked down away from you. As he tried to bite down all the guilt he was feeling. His red locks of hair fell down around his face, attempting to hide him. You frowned. He was one of the most honest men you knew. He was your confidant, a man you could talk to about anything. The man who could hold you up and support you even better than your boyfriend sometimes. Well Ex boyfriend. And you know what he was doing now? He was banging your boyfriend behind your back.
You sighed. You picked up your suitcases and bags. “Goodbye, Katsuki.” You stated simply.
“Y/N, baby! Wait!” Bakugou raced over to you, tugging on your wrist forcing you to turn and face him. He looked confused, almost erratic. “I... I can explain.” You didn’t say anything at that. You just looked up at him emotionlessly. “I...” He felt as though there was a golf ball at the back of his throat. With you staring up at him like that, he wasn’t sure whether he could speak after all. “I know this isn’t what you want to come back to, but... it’s Eijiro. Eijiro the man we both love. I just... He’s my best friend and we’d liked each other for so long. It sort of just happened and I was planning on telling you-”
“How long has this been happening?” You interrupted him with the simple question.
He hesitated to answer you. You just looked at him hard. “A... A year.” Your eyes widened at the time span. “B-but the first time it happened, we didn’t even touch each other for like four months and-”
“Why?” Your eyebrows knitted together. You tried to comprehend it in your head but it wasn’t making sense to you. Bakugou paused at the question. He looked down away from you as he didn’t know exactly what to say to that. The blond had frustrated tears in his eyes as he glared down at the ground. “You could have talked to me.” You told him. “You could have said something and yet you said nothing. Nothing at all. You made me look like a fucking fool!” Your voice was starting to increase in volume as you glared up at him. “What even is this? Are you gay? You could have just told me.”
Bakugou closed his eyes. “I’m not gay.” He tried to clarify, but the look on your face said otherwise. “… not entirely.”
You just groaned in frustration. It was all so messy. All too messy. You didn’t understand. You couldn’t understand why he would do this. “Then what was this all for?” You asked him throwing your hands up in the air. “You made me look like a fool for what? Dick? So that you could finally have a piece of your best friend? What was it? Could I not satisfy you the way he can cause I don’t have a penis, is that why?”
His eyes closed almost pained with the assumption. “No...”
“THEN WHAT?” You shouted at him. “And you!” You pointed over to Kirishima who was walking to stand behind Bakugou. He shrunk back at your voice as he realised that you had noticed him come over. You turned your head to the side as you looked at him. “How could you?” You said pained and much quieter than if you were talking to Bakugou. Kirishima held back the tears as he still could not look at you. You dropped your shoulder as more sadness than anger filled you at the look of Kirishima in front of you. “You were one of my closest friends, Eijiro.”
“Y/N... I’m sorry.” He whispered. You scoffed almost in disbelief, looking to the side as your face scrunched up to one of disgust. He motioned to the man beside him. “We never intended to hurt you. We wanted to tell you of my feelings for the both of you, we really did but then... We...” He didn’t know how to explain it, looking off to the side. “I... We just...”
You sighed as you shook your head. You sniffed as you wiped your tears. “It doesn’t matter.” You let a tear slip down your face. You picked up your bags again. “I don’t care what the intentions were nor what the reason was. Fact of the matter is, Katsuki cheated. You both lied to me. I have enough self-respect for myself to know that I should never tolerate that, even if it’s from the both of you.” You whispered, looking up at them with such a hollow heartbroken expression.
Before you left you pulled off the promise ring that Bakugou gave you on your second year anniversary. The red diamond ring was one of your favourite gifts that he had given you. You slipped off the ring painfully. You took his hand and you placed it onto the palm of his hand. Bakugou froze at the gesture. The weight of the ring so heavy in his hand it felt like the weight of the world.
Bakugou expected to see you to at least look disappointed, sad, angry or some emotion that you were feeling when you had first arrived, but you showed nothing. Absolutely nothing. Your face just empty. “We’re done, Katsuki. I’ll send people to collect my things for me.” You turned around, dropping his hand and taking your bags. “Goodbye Katsuki. See you and Eijiro around. You’ll make a fantastic couple by the way.” You left out the door and you didn’t turn back.
That night you booked a hotel room, not wanting to bother any of your friends, mostly because they were also their friends too. You didn’t want to villainise them. You didn’t even think you wanted to think about them right now. You booked a room, went inside and allowed yourself to break down. The tears all came back flooding. As much as you loved Kirishima and Bakugou, you loved them so much in your heart, what they did wasn’t respectful to you. They could have told you. They could have been honest with you, but they snuck around. They lied to you.
You bawled your eyes until no more tears could flow, you cried so hard that your body forced to you to black out into an empty sleep and damn were you grateful for it. Nothing had felt better like nothingness. Like floating empty not having to see them together in your head.
When you had woken up, you weren’t sure what to do. You and Bakugou had been living together in his apartment for the past five years but now you were homeless. It wasn’t particularly hard for you to find a new apartment for the time being, you did work with the commission and that did have its perks. However, you weren’t even sure if you could do it right now. So you did the most spontaneous random thing you could do.
You left the country for the next two years.
“Dynamight!” One of his sidekicks called as they were escorting another civilian out of the burning apartment building that was in front of them. No one knows how it had gotten this bad. Why weren’t the heroes or the fire department notified earlier. It is what everyone wanted to know but no one got an answer to it.
Prohero Dynamight turned around to look to his sidekick. He was directing the chaos that was happening around the building. It wasn’t exactly how he wanted to spend his Friday night but when hero work calls, it calls. The fire was a blazing hot mess of heat. One could feel it from just standing outside. Bakugou himself was shocked that there could still be anyone else still left inside. Alive that is.
“The building is coming down sir!” The sidekick shouted pointing back to the apartment building.
Bakugou scowled as he heard the loud creaking of steel enforcements. It was so loud he could feel it in his chest, underneath his boots. “Clear the area!” He shouted. “I want no one near this thing if it comes down.” He turned to look at the sidekicks under him that all nodded and stuck to his orders. He put a finger to his earpiece. “How’s it looking Red?” He asked.
“There are still a few people missing.” Prohero Red Riot spoke over the comms. He was with some civilians in a safety zone, making sure the right people went to medical and others were kept warm for the night and received some assistance whether it be calling loved ones or finding their loved ones. “I’ve received some information that there’s someone missing who didn’t get out. I don’t know who it is.”
Bakugou’s scowl only deepened. Of course there was someone that was unaccounted for. He tried to think fast. He could fly in and check the higher levels with less fire but that in itself was dangerous. The fire department had already agreed with him and either putting out the fire or waiting for the building to come down. It wasn’t safe to send in their fighters anymore. Water was already being sprayed into the building from all sides and yet it only seemed to stay the same. He let out a sigh. He put a finger to his comms.
“Dynamight!” He turned his head to the chief of police. They had a finger pointed up to a higher level of the apartment.
Standing by a windows ledge was a civilian. They were coughing up a storm but they were holding something in thick towels. They tried waving down the people below but it was clear that they were heavily disorientated from the smoke and fire.
“Landing mat now!” Dynamight yelled, evoking more action.
He took one step, and everything was shaking underneath him. The ground was shaking and something was awfully wrong. Everyone quickly held something stable and secure. Bakugou looked up and then he saw them falling. For a split second it was almost as if time stopped itself. The civilian was out of the window and in the air. He took stand, his hands sparking.
Then like a jet something flew in the sky with a spark of light and fire exploded out of the building forcing everyone back. Bakugou raised an arm over his eyes as he forced himself to look up.
Floating down in front of the burning building that immitted light was the silhouette of a man with a cape on. Prohero Deku floated down from the sky like a gift from the heavens, a saviour sent by God himself,  his cape blowing behind him as he held the remaining civilian in his arms. He landed on the ground with a thud before turning his head up to look at everyone else. He quickly moved with the civilian in his arms towards an ambulance.
“I have a civilian here! Severe smoke inhalation from the looks of it, dehydrated and unconscious!” He shouted as he placed them down on a stretcher for the paramedics. The paramedics took the towelled bundled out of the civilian's arms. It was only then that Midoriya froze at the face of the civilian. Bakugou stormed over to Midoriya, questions on how the hell Midoriya got here, but then the green haired hero whispered a name Bakugou wasn’t expecting. “Y/N.”
Bakugou looked down in the light of the ambulance to see you with an oxygen mask on your face, barely breathing. Sweat lined your forehead and body, your clothes having areas soaked with it or with burnt marks. Midoriya held the bundle in his arms and then he felt something move in it. He took a step back, unfurling the bundle of towels. It was then that he froze. In the bundle of towels was a baby. A little baby boy who was on the brink of crying. Midoriya quickly dropped all the towels that weren’t necessary for keeping the little boy away from the fire and kept him in his blanket.
He shushed him quietly holding the baby to his chest tighter. “Hey there little guy.” He whispered with a smile on his face. “Sh... it’s okay. It’s okay.” He said softly. The baby started to calm down, moving his hands up towards Midoriya’s face. Midoriya’s smile broadened as he laughed lightly. He looked up at the paramedics, moving to pass the child to them. “Keep him with her. We don’t want to separate them.” He told them seriously. “Check him too, but she kept him wrapped in towels and he doesn't seem to have any burns or trouble breathing.” He reported as the little baby boy was handed over.
“Thank you, Deku, sir.” They nodded their head. They closed the ambulance with a loud bang and the ambulance roared to life. It’s siren going off as it drove away to the closest hospital.
Both proheroes stood in silence at everything going on around them for a moment. Midoriya sighed before turning to Bakugou. He folded his arms over his chest and looked to the blond explosion hero. “What’s the report, Dynamight?” He asked, skipping pleasantries to focus on the task at hand that was putting out the fire.
Bakugou was still looking off in the direction of where the ambulance had gone. He hadn’t seen you in years and here you were, back in Japan without a word or trace. It was shocked him to his core more than anything else. However, Bakugou didn’t have time to be shocked. Not when Deku was standing right next to him. His crimson gaze flicked to Midoriya. He scowled. “How did you get here, Deku?”
“I flew.”
“I thought you couldn’t fly.”
“I was floating in a constant direction,” Midoriya put a hand out flat to show Bakugou what he meant. “at a constant speed, uniform velocity by the way,” He clarified for Bakugou which only made the blond scowl. “Of 400 km per-”
Bakugou tsked. “I know what you mean, you damn nerd! I don’t need you reciting fucking physics to me. Why the hell are you here?” He asked motioning around them.
Midoriya’s eyebrows raised slightly. “Oh...” He dropped his shoulders. He motioned forward in front of him. “I was actually on my way heading home.” He informed the blond. “I had clocked out, but I saw Y/N and I thought, why not.” He shrugged honestly not thinking much about it.
Bakugou glared up at Midoriya with a scowl on his face. Anger bubbled inside him that Midoriya just so happened to be passing by and did his job for him. He wasn’t even on the clock and still doing hero work. It was something Bakugou hated about him. How effortless it was for him to be a hero, almost as if he wasn’t born with a handicap preventing him from being one in the first place. “You thought I couldn’t handle it.”
The green haired hero sighed as he brought a hand to his temple. Somehow, Midoriya was no where near surprised about that assumption. He was talking to Bakugou, and knowing him, he was always assuming something. He closed his eyes. He didn’t have the patience to deal with Bakugou Katsuki’s assumptions right now. Not when it was just after midnight and he had just had a 24 hour shift. “No, Dynamight. I knew you could handle it.” He clarified for the blond. “I just wanted to help.”
“Well-”
“Dynamight! I heard what happened, did you get the remaining civilian?” Red Riot spoke over the comms.
Bakugou paused. He put a finger to his ear and hummed. “Yah we did.” He looked away from one moment and suddenly with another big bang of air breaking around him and in another spark of light, Midoriya was gone. He had taken the opportunity to gratefully leave the angry explosive hero before the two of them would be stuck at each other all night. Bakugou rolled his eyes, annoyed at Midoriya. “She’s at a hospital.”
He heard Red Riot sigh in relief. “That’s good to hear.”
“Hey Red...” Bakugou looked back up at the building that was slowly loosing its flames. “It was Y/N... She was the civilian and… she had a baby with her...”
You were walking to the kitchen to fetch a glass of water. It was late in the night and you had barely gotten any sleep. Nightmares had been plaguing you on the fire that had happened. It came to you in the dead of night, waking up to images of the fire still blazing in your head. You groaned as you took a bottle from the fridge, a hand to your temple as you did so. You moved to lean against the counter for a moment, trying to think.
A knock sounded.
You perked up at the sound. It was the dead of night, just to three a.m and there was a knock at your door. “Well this is one way to die.” You grumbled as you pushed off the counter and walked out of your kitchen. Before you could even get to the front door, you saw someone standing on your balcony. Eyebrows furrowing, you went over to the door of your balcony and upon closer inspection saw someone. Your eyebrows raised in surprise. “Midoriya?” You opened the door, allowing fresh cool air in.
“Good evening.” Midoriya spoke with a small smile as he stood in your doorway, his hero uniform still on him.
You looked at him blankly for a moment. “It’s two a.m.”
“Uh... Good morning?” He said with a more embarrassed smile now.
You tried to bite back a chuckle. You shook your head. “Morning Midoriya, what are you doing here?” You asked him, leaning against the glass door of your balcony entrance way.
“I wanted to check in on you.” He spoke honestly. “The hospital had said they discharged you but I was worried. I wanted to check in on you the day after but then I got busy, and it slipped my mind. I’m sorry if I woke you up, it wasn’t very considerate of me to come knocking on your balcony door in the middle of the night.” He motioned to the night sky above.
You chuckled and shook your head. “No it’s alright. It’s... its sweet of you. Thank you.” You motioned for him to come in. “Uh... please.” He stepped inside, stepping past you. It was then you remembered just how large Midoriya was now. His size was something he had gained much of after U.A. He was packed with thick muscle now and tall. However, he still had that layer of cute baby fat to his face (primarily his cheeks). He stepped in looking around your dark apartment. You kept it styled to your liking but still had that space that told him that it was on the higher end of accommodation. “Sorry, I didn’t know I would be expecting such esteemed company...” You chuckled as you tried not to die in embarrassment at the coffee mugs on the table.
Midoriya chuckled shaking his head. “No please. It’s fine. I came in unannounced.” He reminded you. He looked around in interest at your space. “I didn’t know you were back in the country.”
You nodded your head. “Yah... I’ve actually been here for the past half a year. I’ve just been on the lowkey, doing work from home and things like that.” You informed him as you grabbed your cup of water and leaned against your couch.
“Ah, I see. Well...” He turned to look back at you. “I’m glad that you’re back.” He told you with a smile to his face, genuine. “It’s been...” He tried to think of a word. “Interesting without you here.”
You hummed. A sort of silence settled between the two of you, both of you thinking for just a moment. You cleared your throat. “I see work still treating you well. You’re still number one.” You pointed out.
Midoriya chuckled nodding his head. “Yah...” He scratched the back of his head. “It’s the workaholic in me.” He motioned to your couch, asking for permission to sit down. You nodded your head, letting him do as he pleased. He sighed at finally being able to relax for a moment. You watched his thick body of hard earned muscle relax on your couch as  he threw his head back for a second, a thick neck and sharp jaw on display. “Just constant work and responsibilities. Meetings here, patrol there, galas and dinners on the side. It gets...” He let out a small yawn, covering his mouth with one hand. “It’s tiring.” He sighed. He turned his head to look back up to you. “So how’s your son?”
Now that caught you off guard. You raised an eyebrow. “My son?” You asked him with a raised eyebrow. You weren’t sure what he was referring to.
“Oh I’m sorry, are they a girl?” He asked raising his head off the back of your couch. “I couldn’t really tell when I held them, I was just assuming.” He apologised.
You just blinked at him confused. You tilted your head to the side. “I don’t have any children.” You told him slowly. Midoriya looked back at you confused. He sat up, and put a hand to his chin. He wondered if the baby was all a figment of his imagination. Maybe he really did need sleep. You looked to the coffee table when something caught your eye. That’s when you understood what the misunderstanding was. You let out a chuckle in amusement that took Midoriya’s attention. You walked over to stand in front of the coffee table. You picked up the newspaper and faced him. An image of him on that night of the fire carrying you and the baby you were holding in his arms as he flew down from the burning apartment building. “This baby?” You asked pointing to the image.
“Yah...” He said confused. His eyebrows furrowed. “Isn’t that yours and K-kacchan's? Isn’t that the reason you left?” He asked carefully and slowly. He didn’t want to seem too intrusive and pry too much.
At the mention of your ex, your face scrunched up and you shook your head quickly denying it. “Oh God no.” You chuckled. “No, the baby isn’t Katsuki’s. The boy isn’t even mine.” You revealed to Midoriya making his eyebrows raise up in surprise. “Although...” You put down the newspaper. “I wish he was. It would make things much less lonely.” You let out a small piece of how you were feeling before quickly pushing it to the side. “No, I was baby and house sitting for a friend. She had gone on a business trip and entrusted me with her son.”
“Oh... oh...” Midoriya put his hands to his face as his cheeks went pink in embarrassment. Even as an adult he never really shook off how easily he could turn pink in the face. He groaned as he bent forward, putting his elbows on his knees. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to assume.” He apologised to you quickly only making you giggle. He dropped his hands from his face and sat up. “It’s just that, no one really knew why you and Kacchan broke up and after the whole finding you in a burning apartment with baby thing, I wasn’t the only one to assume that it was the case. Shoto is actually about to lose a whole lot of money come to think of it. I told him not to make those bets on that theory-”
“Excuse me?”
“Hm?” Midoriya looked up at you with bright green sparkling eyes almost as if he hadn’t said anything at all.
You glared down at him, knowing he was silently gaslighting you into believing so. You huffed. You looked away from him to look down at the newspaper for a second. Midoriya’s façade broke for just a moment, an amused smirk on his face before your eyes flicked up and there was a look of interest and care. “As I was saying, there wouldn’t be a problem if you did have a kid. Which is totally fine. There’s nothing wrong with having a child. Not that I’m insinuating that there is something wrong with having a child. Hell, I love kids. I would love to have children of my own. It would actually make my mother very happy. She’s been on my case about settling down and in all honest, its harder than it looks. I was just confused when I saw the baby and-”
You watched him amusedly as he rambled off like a train. His words were going a mile a minute and he seemed stuck in his own world for a moment. You weren’t sure whether you wanted to see how long he would go on for or you should interrupt him. You chuckled. “Midoriya.”
He quickly closed his mouth as he looked up to you realising that he went off. He dropped his head in apology. “Forgive me, I didn’t mean to go off like that.”
You just laughed it off. “It’s alright. Really. Although you should tell everyone, especially Shoto,” You popped your own smirk for a second, a spark coming to his eye before you turned back to a serious expression. “that that isn’t the reason why I left Katsuki.” You revealed to him as you turned around to go back to the kitchen. “Want coffee?” You asked him.
Midoriya chuckled as he stood up from your couch. “It’s two in the morning.” He reminded you. He picked up the empty mugs on the table and followed you into your kitchen.
You turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow. “And?”
He paused for a second and for one of the rare moments that you had known Midoriya you saw a dark hint of mischief in his eyes. Amusement mixed with something else entirely. He chuckled and nodded his head towards you. “I’d love a cup.” He assured you. He put the mugs in your sink and then proceeded to take off his thick white gloves right as you put on the kettle.
You quickly kicked off the counter. “It’s okay, Midoriya. I can wash those.” You tried to get to the dishes as you reached beside him.
“Nope.” Without warning, you were hoisted up easily. You let out a short yelp at that. He picked you up so easily it made you feel concerned. He hoisted you on top of your counter, keeping you there. He gave you a pointed look. “You are going to sit here and wait for the water to boil. I am an unwanted guest who has to atone by washing your dishes.” He gave you a genuine smile. “Really. It’s okay. I like washing dishes.” You were speechless as you watched him turn around. He put his gloves to the side and reached back to pull down his hero suit. You watched wordlessly as he pulled off his sleeves wrapping them around his midsection before setting to work on your mugs. You fought back the heat that creeped up your neck at how you were faced with the sculpted image of his back. Few scars littered it but it was a mesmerising site. Hard earned muscle, broad shoulders with a slenderer waist exposed to you so easily.
You quickly looked down away from him. You really had been alone for too long. You cleared your throat. “I prefer laundry.” You told him, trying to distract yourself. “I find it calming in a sense.” You reached back behind you to the cupboard to fetch two mugs. You eyed the Dynamight mug that you never had the heart to throw away. You frowned. You picked up two plain mugs and brought them down to the counter you were sitting on. “I didn’t know Mr Number One washed his own dishes.” You teased.
Midoriya froze for a second. He thanked the heavens that you couldn’t see his facial expression the else you might have seen the way he nearly rolled his eyes back. He closed his eyes and took a breath before forcing a smile at your statement. He shrugged. “I love to do it when I can, but the commission prefers sending housekeeping to my apartment, so it depends whether I’m lucky or not.” He told you honestly, as he busied himself in the mugs and plate that was in your sink.
“Oh so ProHero Deku doesn’t have some budding housewife waiting for him back home? I’m scared I might be taking someone else’s time.”
He scoffed and shook his head. “Nope. You aren’t taking anyone’s time. It’s... it’s just me.” He told you a bit more quieter than he was originally.
Your eyebrows furrowed as you leaned forward slightly. “Weren’t you and Uravity a thing?” You slid off the counter noticing the kettle calm down. You grabbed the coffee and sugar as you started making the two of you coffee.
“Nah.” He shook his head. “Nothing more than...” He hesitated as he turned his head slightly. He tried to find the right way to put it. He looked up at the ceiling for a moment before turning to focus back on the dishes properly. “Friends with benefits, so to speak.”
Your eyebrows raised in surprise at that. Midoriya in your eyes had never seemed like the type to dabble in one night company. He only took people he was interested into Hero Galas and if not it was a close partner or no one at all. “Oh? I didn’t know you fucked around, Midoriya.” You teased as you mixed the coffee and sugar within the mugs. “What’s your type? Brunettes?”
He chuckled as he shook his head. “I don’t have a specific type and I don’t fuck around.” He finished putting the last mug on the drying stand. “Not entirely.” He turned back to look at you. You stood in front of him with a waiting hot cup of coffee. He lowered his shoulders and smiled as he gratefully took it out of your hands. His large hands brushing against yours and consuming the cup more than you thought it would. “Thank you.” He motioned towards you with the mug in hand. “One-night stands and those type of relationships aren’t really my thing.” He told you honestly with a shrug.
You both stood opposite each other, leaning against the counters. You enjoyed the warmness of the coffee as you looked back up at him. “Ever consider becoming a sugar daddy?” You asked him.
Midoriya nearly choked on his coffee. You let out a laugh at his reaction as he quickly cleared his throat. He looked up at you with a raised eyebrow and a smirk on his lips, he glanced down at his coffee before flicking his heated gaze up to you. He decided to entertain you. “What? Are you interested?” He asked you.
Your eyes moved up to him again as you lowered your mug from your lips. You looked to the side with a scoff as you leaned back. “What makes you assume that?”
He shrugged. “Why else would you be asking?”
You looked him up and down wondering if this was him teasing you back. “You are aware that you are the one who came knocking on my door in the middle of the night, right?”
“Yes.” Midoriya sighed as he looked up for a moment. His eyes went back to you, dark green eyes that held something more intense than you thought you could have found there. His eyes moved down before slowing moving up your figure. It was then that you realised that you were standing in little less than your short crop pyjama set with no bra on. You let out a stuttered breath as you held your mug closer to you effectively making you breasts much more defined to him (not to your knowledge). He looked back up at you, eyes dark in seduction and contained lust. “But you let me in, didn’t you?” He asked with a tilt of his head.
“Hm...” You thought about it for a moment. “Did I make a mistake of some kind?”
Midoriya shrugged. “We’ll have to wait and see.”
You spent hours talking to Midoriya, and you barely even noticed it at all. It was like talking to someone you had known for the longest while. It didn’t make much sense to you but then again, you didn’t really want it to make a lot of sense. You were enjoying yourself and you had company. It was much more than you could say about yourself for the past two years. His smile and laugh were contagious and he was a great listener and talker too.
Often than not you could found yourself lost in the stories he chose to tell. All the many things he had gotten through that could make little to no sense sometimes when he rambled but somehow only made the stories that much more genuine. You weren’t exactly sure how a quick check in just flowed into the both of you sitting on the couch for the past four hours just talking. Yet you couldn’t regret it even if you wanted to.
You shook your head as you sat in front of him, one arm resting on your hiked knee and the other resting on the back of the couch. “Oh Katsuki can be annoying.” You nodded your head with a chuckle.
“Can be?” Midoriya looked at you as if you were crazy. “No one infuriates me more than him.” He stated persistently making you laugh. “I hide it in public but God does he have me wanting to punch something.” He rolled his eyes. “He contradicts me in everything. He questions me in front of other heroes when things are absolutely flawless, ridicules me in front of the media and constantly berates me. It’s...” He chuckles as he pulls a hand through his green curls. “It’s fucking annoying.”
“Whoa there, Midoriya.” You put up your hands in surrender. “Don’t take your anger out on me.” He chuckled at your words. You relaxed and nodded your head. “Yah, it was pretty annoying, your petty rivalry to be honest. Or to be more specific, Katsuki never letting it go.” You rolled your eyes at the memories. “And God does thinking of him just makes me so angry. It makes me so mad cause I feel like such a fool. Even now.” You shrugged as you starred off to the side. You had barely been able to talk about your feelings towards Bakugou after the breakup, but you’d always just refused to even entertain it. Then again, maybe that’s why you didn’t move on. “After he cheated on me,”
Midoriya’s eyes flicked up to you. His facial expression didn’t change in fear of you not continuing but that caught him off guard. Bakugou Katsuki? Cheat? It was something Midoriya never thought possible, but then again why else would you be here, and he was out there? The two of you had an envious relationship. Why would that all be thrown away?
“I thought travelling and just spending time on myself would work. That maybe finding purpose in me would work, but no. Nothing’s changed. I am still alone, barely moving where I was two years ago and he is out there. New relationship, breaking boundaries, advancing as the Number Two hero. God if I could just...” You closed your eyes as you bawled up your fists. You let out a smile as you sighed. “Sorry Midoriya, I didn’t mean to dump on you like that.”
“Don’t apologise.” He told you honestly. “I wanted to listen. You deserve someone to listen to you.” He motioned towards you. He took a moment to think, eyebrows furrowing as he did so. He looked back to you as he leaned back against your couch. “You coming to the Hero Dinner next month?” He asked you. “We’ve missed you out there. Being at events, representing us and standing there being the face for the public to see.” His fingers traced circles on the cushion next to him.
You hesitated. “Midoriya... I don’t think I’m that same woman.”
“Aww come on.” He threw one arm open. He adjusted his seating. “You know what I most admired about you?” He asked you, and you could tell by the tone of his voice that he wasn’t trying to pressurise you. He wanted to genuinely tell you. “You... YN, were the only person I could ever see stand in front of a ton of heroes, host an entire gala and then proceed to go outside, control the press and act like its a regular Tuesday all while wearing stilettoes.” You smiled as you looked down at your lap. “You are the only one who wasn’t a hero, who spoke up to defend us against the commission for all the wreckage that happened in the suburbs due to a big villain attack that went too out of control. You were the only one that somehow is neutrally good and balances both sides. You’re a powerful woman, Y/N. You shouldn’t forget that.” The smile on your face, that he caused due to his words, made everything so much better to have said it in his eyes. Midoriya looked out to the windows. “Holy All Might, what’s the time?”
You looked back at the windows too and saw the sunrise orange hues stream inside your apartment. Your eyebrows raised in shock at how it was already the morning. “Uh...” You checked the clock on your wall. “Six. Six fifteen.” You told him.
Midoriya stood up and in a flash of lightning he was still standing in place but this time he had his gloves in hand. He zipped back up his hero shirt, never really having put it back on since having taken it off initially. “I should get back home and take a nap before my meeting at twelve.” He told you, pulling his gloves back on.
“I thought you said you don’t sleep.” You shot to him as you stood up, opening the balcony doors for him.
Midoriya shot you a smirk, sharp canines glinting in the morning light. His skin was glowing, freckles that dotted his skin all over only enhanced by the light and made prominent by his smile. Dimples. “I don’t. I nap. There’s a difference.” You chuckled as you stood against the doorway. He snapped his fingers and he pressed a button on his gloves and his white hero cape came flying back to him, clipping onto his shoulders. He walked over to stand next to you. He kept his eyes on you for a moment. He wanted to say so much and yet felt like if he said anything else he would never leave. “I’ll text you later? Or more accurately, when I get home.”
You nodded your head. “Yah, you will. Knowing you.” He chuckled. You motioned back to his cape. “Does your cape always just blow majestically with no breeze?”
Midoriya looked back behind him. “Uh...” He turned his head back to you. “You’d be surprised how much the PR team pays the hero support department at my agency.” You shook your head with a chuckle. He shot you a wink. “Same time Tuesday?” He asked as he started to walk out onto your balcony.
You raised an eyebrow. “Is that a date?”
“Whoa I never said that.” He raised his hands up. He had a smirk on his face though as he pushed his green curls back. “You want me that bad, huh? How much does baby want? Five hundred thousand yen per meet up?”
You rolled your eyes. “Goodbye, Midoriya.” You turned to go back inside before pausing once your brain digested the amount. “WAIT! HOLD ON!” You quickly turned around.
You heard laughter but he was already gone. You looked up at the sky with a smile. You shook your head as you closed the door. You weren’t sure how to feel but the smile on your face couldn’t leave. You walked over back to your room that was the exact same since you left it. You fell back into your covers as you looked up at the ceiling. You wondered what the hell this was all for?
You giggled as you covered your eyes with a sigh. Maybe you needed a nap yourself. You moved the sheets when you felt your phone buzz. You raised an eyebrow as you picked it up off your side table. You opened your phone and saw a message from Midoriya. It was an image of him in his apartment with a thumbs up.
Midoriya: Made it home safe. Heavy congestion though.
You rolled your eyes at him.
Ever since then you found yourself stuck on your phone texting Midoriya none stop. Any time he had free time he would send you a text and you would send one back. It was a back and forth thing. Soon you found yourself starring at your phone waiting for it to light up telling you that you had a message. You found yourself smiling at your phone and waiting on every message or text.
Midoriya couldn’t exactly say that he didn’t feel the same. He couldn’t exactly say that he didn’t wait on your every text, voice message or call. Even his sidekicks started noticing it and hell even started to tease him. He didn’t really mind, if it meant hearing you ramble about your day on a voice note only making him smile.
Although he had to put his phone away when dealing with cases or on patrol ninety percent of the time but then there was the hero dinner.
Heroes sat at their tables some with their partners, others surrounded by friends as the dinner was already in full swing. Midoriya was in a tight-fitting suit, slicked back green hair and a champagne glass in hand as he had glasses on and listened to ProHero Chargebolt speak of a mission he had last week. Dinner was yet to be served so as they waited, the group of heroes told stories and enjoyed the live music.
“I mean in my defence; he was in my shock radius.” He put his hands up in innocence.
ProHero Creati laughed as she smiled at the story. She wore a plum cocktail dress tailored to her figure. Momo raised an eyebrow. “Didn’t you tell him to stay back?”
“I did.” Denki laughed. He shrugged as he lifted his own glass to his lips with a smirk. “Not my fault he didn’t listen.”
Mina shook her head amused at one of her closest friends. It never did make any sense to her any of his stories but she loved to listen to them anyways. She turned over to Midoriya with a smile. Her innocent smile turned diabolical as she looked at him. Midoriya’s raised an eyebrow slowly wondering whether he should run or not. “So Midoriya...” She started. “I heard from a little birdie that you’re dating someone.”
Midoriya nearly choked on his champagne. Iida rubbed his back as he put down the champagne glass. Midoriya coughed as he looked up at the pink hero.
Bakugou who sat opposite Midoriya at the round table raised an eyebrow. He scoffed. “Yah right.”
Midoriya cleared his throat as he sat up. He looked to Iida with an appreciative glance. “Thank you.” He said in gratitude before turning to Bakugou in front of him. He raised an eyebrow at the blond. “Excuse me, Kacchan...” He started with a forced smile.
Mina and Denki pursed their lips as they looked at each other knowing that the two pros were about to have it out against one another. Iida sighed knowing that something was about to happen. “Here we go again.” He muttered as he took a sip of his own champagne. Shoto raised an eyebrow not understanding why everyone was reacting like that.
“What do you mean by that?” Midoriya asked putting down his glass and looking up at Bakugou.
Kirishima looked down at the blond next to him nervously, not knowing whether to step in or not. Bakugou smirked as he leaned back in his chair. “I mean it like you think I mean it.” He shot back. “Why on earth would you be dating someone?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.
Midoriya tilted his head, his smile becoming strained as he started to grow annoyed. “Because I want to?”
“Please, like you could find someone to date.” Bakugou shot back as he put down his glass. Everyone at the table had wide eyes at his words, keeping their mouths shut as they looked to Midoriya. Midoriya kept his pleasant smile on his face but one could physically feel the electricity and restraint around him as he looked over to Bakugou. His jaw was tense and he looked to him with nothing but empty green eyes. Bakugou started counting his reasons. “You’ve barely got time for a partner, you talk too much, the reality of actually dating the top hero chases most people away after a month and you’re probably as vanilla as four eyes over there.”
Iida looked over to Bakugou with a shocked expression. “Hey, I-” He stopped talking as he felt a hand go over his.
Midoriya didn’t look to Iida but kept facing forward. The aura around him was suffocating and the energy at the table was too tense for words. Everyone bounced looking from Bakugou to Midoriya before settling on the green haired hero to see what he had to say. Midoriya hummed as he sat back, he picked up his champagne glass and took a sip. “Well, at least I don’t cheat on my partners, Kacchan.”
Like a bucket of ice had been poured onto him, Bakugou went stiff and pale. Bakugou didn’t want to believe it. He let out a scoff. “Yah as if.” He couldn’t believe it. You had never told a soul of why you had broken up with him. You hadn’t want to ruin the way his friends saw him. Or at least that's what Bakugou thought. How on earth would Midoriya know. He couldn’t possibly. But with one flick of Midoriya’s jade gaze to Kirishima along with a raised eyebrow before looking back to the blond, Bakugou knew that he knew the cold hard honest truth.
Midoriya opened his mouth to speak before a hand went to his shoulder. “Enjoying the champagne everyone?” He turned around and his eyes widened. Standing behind him was you and God did you look gorgeous. You stood in a classy suit, your blazer having a deep v-cut revealing nothing but unblemished skin underneath. You stood in heels as you looked over at the table, your hand on Midoriya.
Denki shot up with smile. “Y/N!” He cheered. You chuckled as he quickly made his way over to you with a hug. He pulled you in tightly, glad to have you back. “God, you can’t believe how worried I was when I saw you on the front page of the newspaper.”
You hugged him back, grateful to be holding him again. He was one of your closest friends and someone you never lost contact with. It hurt to be away from him because no matter what he always loved and supported you. It was just the type of friend that he was. “It’s great to see you too, Denks.” You told him honestly.
Mina waved at you, glad to see you too. “Girl, where have you been?” She asked you with a tilt of her head. “You tell me you’re in the country and yet we haven’t hit the clubs.”
You chuckled as you stayed at Denki’s side. “I’ve been resting before entering the scene again.” You say with a sigh as you looked around the table. “It’s good to see everyone like this again.” You spoke honestly. Your eyes went to Bakugou. He was frozen as he looked at you, red crimson eyes locked onto your being. You were still gorgeous as ever. It was as if time stopped for him, seeing you facing him once more. However, your gaze then moved to his partner. Kirishima sat next to him, still not able to bear the weight of your gaze as he held his champagne glass in his hand. He was glad he left his hair loose today, allowing him to focus on a red stray lock of hair than to look at you. “Red Riot...” He stilled at the mention of his hero name. You never used to call him that. Always referring to him as Kiri or Eijiro. Never Red Riot. Never so formal. “Dynamight, that interview on the Daily T show was great.” You congratulated.
Before you could spend any more clearly tense and strained attention on them, Midoriya stood up, taking your attention. The tall green haired hero looked down at you with a smirk on his freckled face. His emerald, green eyes looked your outfit over again, deep dark eyes going over your figure as if wanting to burn the image of you into his head. His smirk only grew causing a dimple to appear. “Look who decided to show up.” He teased, placing his hands in his pockets as he looked down at you.
You squeezed Denki’s hand before turning fully to face Midoriya. You chuckled as you folded your arms over your chest, trying to match his cockiness. “I’ll have you know, Mr Number One, that I had a good influence.” You shrugged.
Midoriya clenched his jaw as he felt a shiver run down his spine and his cock twitch. He clenched his hands in his pockets. He had to find some way of getting you to stop saying those three words. At least not in public. He raised an eyebrow down at you. “Good influences?” You nodded your head, only making him hum as he watched you in a heat causing gaze. “Does this mean I have to keep offering you money to come to events?”
You thought about it for a moment, putting a finger to your lips as you thought. You tilted your head before looking back at him. “Hm... no, but maybe if you beg though.” Midoriya let out a chuckle which made you smile. You opened your mouth to speak before receiving an instruction through your earpiece. You hummed pressing down on it for a moment before looking back up at Midoriya. You sighed. “Well, I have to make sure I keep up your good images for the press.”
Taking you by surprise before you could leave, Midoriya pulled you in by the waist against him. His arm wrapped tightly around you with his face just a few small inches away. You felt your lungs run out of breath as you grew flustered. Heat moving up your neck at the intimate act. He smirked down at you, noticing your flustered expression. “Will I see you after this?” He asked more quietly, eyes glancing over at a certain livid blond.
You caught on quickly. Deciding to entertain him, you took a risk. You nodded at his question before pushing your body further against him. You moved one hand to the back of his neck, threading your fingers through curly green hair and pulling his head down to speak into his ear. Your lips brushed against his ears as you were about to speak. “Same place same time?”
Midoriya was motionless only for less than a second at the feeling of your fingers in his hair. He smirked and leaned his head closer to you. “Better be coffee.” He whispered back
“Done.” You placed your lips against his neck in a kiss. Midoriya’s eyebrows raised slightly but his smile only grew. You were careful not to leave too much lipstick on him as you retracted yourself. You fiddled with the loose hairs at the back of his neck. You let go of him, walking away, keeping a hand on him. “See you later.” You shot him a wink as you squeezed his bicep. You gave Denki a wave as you walked off to greet other hero guests.
Midoriya’s eyes followed you for a second, all his attention on you and the way your body moved and swayed as you walked away. He cleared his throat, remembering where he was before turning back to the table. It was so painfully tense that if he had a knife, he could probably cut it. With an extra pep in his step, he took his seat again and picked up his champagne glass. A clear unremovable smile on his face that he couldn’t even deny if he wanted to. He looked it over before turning his gaze over to Mina. “Mina can you pass the champagne?” He asked.
Mina was stuck with a dropped jaw expression. Denki raised his eyebrows before releasing a scoff in disbelief. “Mr Midoriya... or should I call you Mr Rizzdoriya?” He stated as he took the bottle and handed it to Midoriya, with a teasing wink.
Midoriya chuckled. “What? No.” He shook his head as he took the bottle gratefully. Midoriya took out the cork and poured into his glass. He hummed to himself for a moment before lifting his gaze up to Bakugou who looked as though if he got close enough to Midoriya he would gouge his eyes out. Midoriya’s smile on grew brighter as he put down the bottle. “I mean… like I could find someone to date.” He tilted his head slightly before putting the champagne back in a bucket of ice.
