idc what anyone says, i lowk feel like kaneki is such a slut, & he doesn’t even realize it.

like he’ll send you shirtless pics when he wakes up but he means no harm. he just wakes up that way & stretches his arm out to snap a quick pic. you’ll NEVER complain but it’s just so mmm. what’s more is that he doesn’t even think he has a great body or anything, but you drool over every picture.

also unpopular belief but. he SENDS YOU NUT VIDS!!! like he’ll outwardly tell you he’s horny bc he doesn’t gaf abt tmi. your his partner nd 1,000% the reason he’s feeling that way anyway. so he’ll be sitting pretty in front of his mirror, making the most prettiest noises too. nd he’ll send that shit to you like it’s nothing.

Cicada’s hiss and chirp outside as the blindingly hot sun beats down on Japan. It’s June, and any one of the locals could tell you, how hot it is and how most are dying for any way to relive the heat.

This of course, includes you and the other members of your squad who while in the chateau have all the fans and air conditioners blaring, but it does nothing to help the heat. Mutski is fanning himself as Saiko lies on the floor appearing almost to melt like an ice cream on the side walk with each passing second.

You think to yourself…“Man ice cream sounds good” and thus it begins….

First person POV

“Haiseeeee” I groan, making my squad leader lethargically glance at me and lift the book he was failing to read off his face. He looks like he’s about to fall asleep but I continue anyways.

“I want something cold….like ice cream…” I complain. Saiko makes an interested sound, of course ice cream caught her interest. Haise looks between the two of us and places the book back on his face.

“Sorry, but it’s too hot for me…why not ask Yonebayashi, Shirazu, or Mutsuki to go with you…” he says, sounding fainter and more tired by the second.

I look to the others and they all avoid my gaze, especially Saiko who despite her interest in ice cream, realizes that would mean she would have to move, and activity that she doesn’t enjoy even without this heat, let alone with it.

I then sigh and stand up from my place where I was sitting on the couch, skin sticking to the leather as I do, making me wince. I then pad over to the kitchen and grab my phone. No new messages, or updates, I’m on a mission.

I open my messenger and go to the one name surrounded by hearts in my phone:

“Although he’s probably busy…” I reason with myself, and even if he’s not, I can’t quite argue with the desire to avoid this god forsaken heat at all costs. However, it’s still worth a shot, and I’m bound and determined to get some damn ice cream!!

After a little moment of contemplation I shoot him a text:

There’s no response for a minute. I even text a quick “Hey, is everything ok?” But there’s no response. Knowing him he got pulled into some urgent meeting even though it’s a Saturday, and he told me he had this day off.

We were planning on going on a date anyways, however the heat wave had other plans, and it was a seemingly unspoken understanding that we would not be going out on a date today.

However, much like how mother nature had other plans for the world, so did Kishou Arima.

About a hour after I messaged my partner in a desperate plead to get ice cream there’s a knock at the door. I ignore it, deciding that remaining stationary on the semi-cool floor and melting much like Saiko next to you, is the preferable option.

The knock comes again.

Shirazu groans and stands grumbling as he does. “I swear if this is Urie, I’m gonna give him an earful, I told him goin out an’ runnin’ was a bad idea in this damn heat!!” He huffs, while opening the door.

Shirazu then immediately falls silent. He goes from looking annoyed to looking as if he just shit his pants before turning his head to your squad leader. “Uh…Sas…? Kishou Arima’s here…” he announces, letting the special investigator in.

For the first time all day, Sasaki jumps to his feet, skin peeling harshly as he does and making him yelp and wince, he turns away from me and towards Arima, allowing for me to see the red marks on his exposed limbs.

“I-Investigator Arima!! W-what are you doing here??” Haise asks sheepishly. I too jump to mu feet and dust myself off. Looking at Arima in anticipation. He then looks at Haise then at me.

“Relax Haise, I’m only here to pick up investigator (L/N). There’s a matter in which I need to discuss with them personally.” He states, ever the professional one. Who can blame him for covering up his relationship with you even from his closest subordinate? As the CCG’s “Grim Reaper” he’s bound to have powerful ghoul enemies. Thus, if you’re associated with him in such an emotional and intimate way, you’re walking with an even bigger target on your back.

I then act surprised and flustered, which honestly is’nt hard when I stand and finally see my partner. He’s standing there in a black and white Hawaiian shirt and khaki shorts that go to the knee. He looks like a dad and it’s really hard not to burst out laughing right now.

Still, I manage and walk up to Arima, bowing as I would to any other superior. I then walk over and open the door for him, he nods and steps out, causing me to subsequently follow him. Looking back at my squad with a smile as they all look worried. Well all aside from Haise, who I’m almost positive has put two and two together by this point in our relationship that has been going on for about a year. Still, he hasn’t said anything which both myself and Arima are grateful for.

We walk out of the château into the smoldering heat, as my love guides me to his car and opens the door for me. I plop down in the well air conditioned car with a relived sigh before I feel a twinge of heat again when Arima opens the driver’s door and enter himself.

I look over at him as he puts the car in drive and pulls out of the Château’s driveway. Gaze steely and unreadable as always, but he glances my way as well, only sighing when he realizes that I’m on his bad side. Honestly it’s a wonder how he can still drive while being half blind. I notice his slight frustration and place my hand on his thigh making him smile lightly.

He then interlaces his fingers with mine and rests out hands on the center consul. I look at his callused and beautiful hand then at my own and wonder what it would be like to have a ring on them…to be…married to Kishou Arima….to be the reaper’s love…Persephone.

Arima catches my daydreaming, squeezing my hand lightly. “Are you too warm?” He hums.

“Hmm?…oh…no… I’m fine…just thinking.” I reply dreamily. The heat must be getting to me, my face feels hot and I’m thinking about marrying this man ALREADY….

Still, he’s so sweet. Dropping what probably was a lot of work, to come spend time with me and bring me to get ice cream…I’m so lucky to have him.

“Hey, what flavor are you going to get?” I ask him with a smile.

He’s silent for a moment before replying. “I’ve been wanting to try that orange pineapple that you’ve been telling me about. Investigator Hairu also highly recommended that I try it. How about you?” He questions.

“Classic chocolate vanilla swirl baby!! Can’t go wrong with that!!” I exclaim.

Arima huffs a light laugh and strokes my hand with his thumb before raising it to his lips and kissing the back. A very intimate expression from the usually stoic investigator that makes me twitch and blush.

He lowers our hands as we pull up to the ice cream place before turning off the car. He steps out and heads over to my side, opening the door and offering me his hand with a sweet smile.

I take it and step out into the beating sun, all thoughts of the dreaded heat forgotten by the cool feeling and sweetness, not ice cream but instead:

Hello hello!! Im back with another list of headcannons!! This time with EJ!! Hope you all enjoy!!

First off, he's a hermit. He doesn't like people, especially in my take of him

I personally headcannon Eyeless Jack to be more of a person being possessed/turning into a monster rather than being a monster at creation, yk? Its built off that one spin off backstory someone wrote; where Jack is in school and gets caught up in some cult stuff

Yeah that story!! I took that one and the original and mashed it up!! My idea is that Jack is still there, mostly normal but has a barely controllable hunger for flesh ++ he body deteriorates as time passes to better resemble how we all know him (grey skin, maybe sharp teeth if you hc it, ect ect)

Now that I've caught you up with my take on him, I'll continue!! Since he's in this position I feel like it'd be near impossible for him to actually. Allow himself to have a romantic relationship, or any relationship for that matter.. he feels that you being around him will put you in danger

Thats not to say my EJ is evil! Hes not, its just the funky curse that compels him to eat meat

But let's say he does find you, and lets his walls down, and you two get together

To start, he rarely takes off his mask outside of feeding times, most times he can't remember the details of; often being a blur left in his mind due to his curse

So mask kisses! Lots and lots of them! You'll have to be the one to initiate it though <\3 Jack never seemed to be the type to seek n give affection, at least to me

On the off chance you do see him without the mask, he might.. MIGHT let you actually kiss him

He's got sharp teeth, that's one reason he's nervous about kissing you for real

He also has half a dozen long, writhing, snake like tongues in his mouth. Cult rituals, amirite? I mean.. he doesn't really know.. how that'd work..

Oh before I forget to mention! My EJ is short, but stout!! 5'6 but he's got a wide frame!! Strong!! Do not tease him on his height because he will be moody for the rest of the day

Sometimes on cold days he lets you snuggle up with him inside his jacket

If he's coming to visit you, he'll be the most polite guest ever

Come over to his place, a little abandoned cabin in the woods? He'll be a good host!! Just please don't go into the room in the far right corner of the cabin 😋😋 that totally isnt where he primarily feeds 😋

I feel like he can't really eat. Normal food

Actually now that I think about it my take on Jack kinda reminds me of the ghouls from Tokyo Ghoul

He doesn't talk much but he's a good listener! He's not shy or anything, it's just that he's more observant and reserved. Even before.. everything that happened to him, he wasn't much of a talker

Doesn't sleep much, he doesn't really need to anymore

On nights where he isnt out.. doing his thing, he might come into your room and watch over you

It's his own way of making sure nothing happens
